- 0:27Speaker 1: Close your eyes and make yourself comfortable. Just allow your
- 0:34eyes to gently close and focus on your breathing. Just
- 0:40let all your troubles just float away. Take a deep
- 0:47breath in through your nose and slowly and gently breathe
- 0:54out through your mouth. Again, take another deep breath, slowly
- 1:04and gently breathe out through your mouth. One last time,
- 1:13deep breath in and slowly and gently breathe out through
- 1:20your mouth. Just bring your breathing back to its normal
- 1:25rhythm and just relax, letting all your thoughts just drift away. Now,
- 1:35imagine yourself standing on your own private, magical island, a
- 1:43place that is just yours. And here in this place
- 1:49you are safe, you are loved, and you are protected always. Now,
- 1:59this magic island of yours is surrounded by the bluest ocean,
- 2:06and the water sparkles and shines like thousands of diamonds,
- 2:10all glittering in the sunlight. And above your island is
- 2:15a rainbow, a beautiful, huge rainbow of many colors. Can
- 2:21you see it floating above your island? Can you see
- 2:25it's magnificence in the sky above you, The purples and
- 2:30the blues, the greens and the yellows, the oranges, and
- 2:33the reds. You can even see silver and gold to
- 2:39what were the colors? Can you see? Each time you
- 2:43breathe in, your rainbow becomes larger and larger, until it
- 2:49fills the whole sky above you with so many beautiful colors.
- 2:55It's amazing that you're standing on a long, sandy beach
- 3:04and you can smell the fresh, clean, salty air, and
- 3:07it tickles your nose a little bit, but it feels
- 3:10warm and nice on your skin. You can hear the
- 3:14sound of seagulls flying above you, rising so high and
- 3:18then swooping down towards the gentle waves, trying to catch
- 3:21their dinner. But the fish are very quick, and they
- 3:25swim off at a rate of knots, laughing very loudly
- 3:29as they go. Can you see them? Can you hear them?
- 3:37You turn your attention to the beautiful, deep blue ocean
- 3:43and you watch each gentle wave moving so gracefully, and
- 3:48you watch the sparkles from the sunlight bounce on the
- 3:51surface of the water. It's so bright, but it doesn't
- 3:55hurt to look at it. You start to walk towards
- 4:00a vast ocean, feeling the sand beneath your feet and
- 4:04in between your toes, and it feels so warm and
- 4:07soft on your skin, breathing fresh ocean air. Oh, you
- 4:14feel so peaceful here, so calm and relaxed, and it's
- 4:19all yours. As you look around you you notice of
- 4:26ahead a long wooden dock leading out into the beautiful
- 4:30blue water. So you decide to go and have a
- 4:33look around it, wondering if you might see anything else?
- 4:37Is there anything else to see? As you walk along
- 4:41the dock, you can see below you the crystal clear water,
- 4:47and you can even see the most colorful fish swimming
- 4:51on by. It's then that you notice that there is
- 4:57something at the end of the dock kind of looks
- 5:00bit odd. It looks like a big glass ball, and
- 5:04it's just floating in the water, and you wonder what
- 5:08on earth could it be. As you reach the big
- 5:13glass ball, you realize that it's a small well, kind
- 5:18of like a submarine. Really. Its glass door is open,
- 5:23and you see inside that there is the most amazing
- 5:27chair filled with soft cushions of many, many different colors.
- 5:33You decide to climb inside and sit down on the chair,
- 5:37and you find that it is the softest chair you
- 5:39have ever sat on, and it completely fits your body.
- 5:45You think that this would make an amazing place to sleep.
- 5:51As you sit there, the door gently closes and you
- 5:55see in front of you a little note and it sets. Friend,
- 6:01this glass submarine is just for you. It's for you
- 6:05to go on a journey beneath the sea, to venture
- 6:09out and to explore the world under the big blue ocean. Wow.
- 6:15How exciting is that. You can't wait to explore? But
- 6:21how do you start the engine? You wonder. You look
- 6:25down at your feet and you see that there are pedals,
- 6:28just like on your bicycle at home. There is also
- 6:33a steering reel, like the ones in a car. Well.
- 6:36You think it looks easy enough, so you take hold
- 6:41of the steering reel and begin to pedal. The glass
- 6:45submarine moves slowly and gently forward, and you can see
- 6:51the small waves washing all around you. As you move,
- 6:56you begin to pick up a bit of speed. Pedal
- 7:00through the beautiful waves, and as you do, you hear
- 7:05in the distance the sound of whales as they sing
- 7:09to each other. You can't see them, but you can't
- 7:13hear them. As you pedal, you notice that your little
- 7:24glass submarine has now started to go beneath the waves,
- 7:30and you watch as the water rises and rises until
- 7:34you're completely under the water. Wow, this is amazing. The
- 7:41water is so clear, and you can see a very
- 7:45very long way, and you can now see the whales
- 7:50far out ahead of you, and you watch them as
- 7:53they swim so gracefully with long, slow movements, and you
- 7:59think that they are very beautiful. Indeed, you see all
- 8:05around you lots and lots of colorful fish, big ones,
- 8:11small ones, even squat fat ones. And you see floating
- 8:16past you two jellyfish deep in conversation with each other,
- 8:20and they smile at you as they pass by. How
- 8:23wonderful is that? You see a family of octopus darting
- 8:28past and as if they are playing a game of catch,
- 8:32chasing each other and having lots of fun. And then
- 8:35they disappear off into the distance. You see a sharks
- 8:40went by with the top hat on and a cane
- 8:42tucked under his fin. How what he raises his hat
- 8:46as he passes you, and he says good day. He
- 8:50is followed by lots of baby shorts, all swimming quickly
- 8:55trying to keep up with him. And it's then that
- 8:58you realize that well, actually he's a teacher and he's
- 9:02taking the baby sharks out on a field trip. Look
- 9:07around you and you keep pedaling along in your glass submarine,
- 9:11thoroughly enjoying yourself, and you can see so many different
- 9:16underwater creatures that you don't even recognize some of them. Well,
- 9:20that's because you've never seen them before. There's so many
- 9:23of them. You decide to go deeper down into the ocean,
- 9:29and as you do, you see something swimming towards you.
- 9:34As it gets closer, you see that it is a
- 9:37mermaid with very beautiful and very very long blonde hair
- 9:43floating all around her. She gives you the biggest grin
- 9:48and waves hello to you, and you wave back as
- 9:51she swims on by, followed by all her dolphin friends,
- 9:55and there are lots of them. You can see the
- 10:01coral on the ocean floor, and it is wonderful, so
- 10:05many different shapes and sizes, so many beautiful colors. Some
- 10:10of the coral remains still and just stays upright, whilst
- 10:15other coral gently floats backwards and forwards, just swaying in
- 10:19the cool, calm waters. You can even see tiny little
- 10:25fish sheltering in amongst it swimming in and out looking
- 10:29for some food, or you think this is so wonderful.
- 10:36Coup ahead of you you see little twinkling lights. Can
- 10:41you wonder what it is? It kind of looks like
- 10:44a pathway leading you to somewhere, and there are lots
- 10:48of those little lights too. So for just a little while,
- 10:53go and explore this underwater world. Follow the lights where
- 11:00they lead you to. Maybe it's an underwater city, maybe
- 11:06other people live there, maybe it's a mair made city,
- 11:10or maybe it's just full of all the different secretures,
- 11:15all living together very happily in their very own underwater world.
- 11:21Now wouldn't that be fun? Et? Wow, now that was exciting,
- 14:13wasn't it? How lovely? But now it's time for you
- 14:19to return. But it's a long trip home, so you
- 14:24decide to lie back and have a little sleep, just
- 14:28for a few minutes. Of course, you lean back in
- 14:32your comfy chair and close your eyes for just a
- 14:36little bit. And even though your eyes are closed, you
- 14:40remember in your mind all of the wonderful things that
- 14:44you have seen today, And don't worry, your little glass
- 14:49submarine will guide you gently home. It knows the way,
- 14:52you know. You smile to yourself, feeling so peaceful, so calm,
- 15:01so relaxed. As you sink deeper and deeper into your
- 15:07comfy chair with lots of soft cushions, you take a
- 15:13deep sigh, relaxing even further, sinking down and down, sinking
- 15:22down and down into blissful sleep, feeling ever so happy.
- 15:29You take a breath and you sigh it back out,
- 15:33big long sigh as you go deeper and deeper into sleep,
- 15:41and your eyes feel so heavy now, so relaxed, so
- 15:46peaceful and calm, but you feel so very very happy,
- 15:56and you drift off to sleep, feeling so peaceful, so wonderful,
- 16:04and dreaming all about the things you've seen today. And
- 16:08the really best bit about this day is that when
- 16:13you wake up, you will be back in your very
- 16:17own bed. And don't forget there are many more places
- 16:23for you to visit in this beautiful underwater world. But
- 16:29for now, have a little sleep and just rest. Night
