- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio guys.
- 0:06Speaker 2: We are joined by Nancy from The Golden Bachelor. She's
- 0:11Speaker 2: here to recap the Golden Bachelor ratte with us today
- 0:13Speaker 2: and she happens to be at Susan you know, iconic
- 0:16Speaker 2: Susan's house right now, along with Kathy.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Are they ever a part?
- 0:21Speaker 2: Never?
- 0:24Speaker 3: And there's something fun going on.
- 0:27Speaker 2: I suppose I won't wrap them out on it, but
- 0:29Speaker 2: there's something going on that they.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Will soon reveal very well. Put okay, a great reveal
- 0:37Speaker 3: is coming.
- 0:38Speaker 4: We reveal is coming. Stay tuned, hierld.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Nancy, we are here to talk about this episode that
- 0:45Speaker 2: is very crucial because it's the one in which Joan
- 0:49Speaker 2: decides who's going to hometowns. This is where the Golden
- 0:54Speaker 2: series feels too fast for me. I'm like, you've got
- 0:58Speaker 2: on one date with each of these guys, which I
- 1:00Speaker 2: guess is typical on the main show, but I just
- 1:01Speaker 2: feel like you have a few more weeks of group
- 1:04Speaker 2: dates and such, and she's going to go meet these guys' families.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Who did you predict or did you know? I'm assuming
- 1:11Speaker 2: you're totally spoiled because you the Golden Ladies more than
- 1:15Speaker 2: any other. I feel like you guys are bonded in
- 1:17Speaker 2: a way that all the news travels very fast. Yes, okay,
- 1:22Speaker 2: so you knew these guys that were coming. So did
- 1:24Speaker 2: you watch the season differently knowing this?
- 1:28Speaker 4: No, I really I didn't know until more recently. I
- 1:34Speaker 4: thought that we would that there might be I knew
- 1:39Speaker 4: like the final four, you know, and then I knew
- 1:43Speaker 4: there was some really close connections. But last night was different.
- 1:48Speaker 4: But I did think that it would be guy.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Actually, so you thought that guy was going to be
- 1:53Speaker 2: sticking around or you thought that he would be eliminating that.
- 1:55Speaker 4: He was going to be sticking around. I thought they
- 1:57Speaker 4: had a connection, and did I know?
- 2:00Speaker 3: And Pascal, Yeah, And I don't know.
- 2:04Speaker 4: I just didn't see knowing they had a connection on
- 2:10Speaker 4: their one on one.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Dates like now I understands, I didn't see.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Yeah, I didn't see the connection me neither. Joan said
- 2:19Speaker 4: we have a connection. I have a connection with several
- 2:23Speaker 4: of them, which I think she did.
- 2:25Speaker 1: But.
- 2:27Speaker 4: It wasn't visible to me other than chalk.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Okay, so same.
- 2:32Speaker 2: I can feel it a little bit with Jordan and
- 2:36Speaker 2: that and with Pascal. I think that there is something
- 2:39Speaker 2: intriguing about him to her, I am shocked if you
- 2:42Speaker 2: were to go back to the first episode and tell
- 2:44Speaker 2: me that Pascal is getting a hometown, Like, wow, they
- 2:48Speaker 2: did not seem like compatible based on first impressions. I
- 2:53Speaker 2: think he's hilarious and I like, I love him as
- 2:55Speaker 2: a character.
- 2:56Speaker 3: But yeah, it is so fun to hang out with, right.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, but guy is this shocker to me in
- 3:02Speaker 2: this group? And I really thought he would be replaced
- 3:05Speaker 2: by Jonathan. Really disappointed to see Jonathan go me too.
- 3:09Speaker 4: Yeah, he was one of my favorites.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Actually, yeah, yeah, But I also sensed on their date
- 3:16Speaker 2: a couple of weeks ago that she just wasn't fully
- 3:19Speaker 2: present with him. Mm hmm.
- 3:21Speaker 4: I also felt that way last night with Keith and Mark.
- 3:26Speaker 2: With Keith and oh, I mean Keith and Mark, clearly
- 3:29Speaker 2: she had she didn't have a romantic connection with.
- 3:32Speaker 4: Huh uh no at all. No, And she said I
- 3:35Speaker 4: love you Mark.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Well, she's been saying I love you a lot too,
- 3:39Speaker 2: like as humans. You know, she was saying that to
- 3:41Speaker 2: Charles last week, so I remember them teasing that, you know,
- 3:46Speaker 2: in the scenes from the next episodes that she said
- 3:49Speaker 2: I love you Mark, and at a certain point in
- 3:51Speaker 2: the season when I wasn't seeing them, click was thinking,
- 3:54Speaker 2: I bet you that's one of her platonic I love yous.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Yeah, Well let's get into the episode a little bit.
- 4:00Speaker 2: So first, Trista is having a coffee chat with her,
- 4:03Speaker 2: so we actually have Trista on the podcast to give
- 4:06Speaker 2: all the insight that she experienced. But Joan, so that's
- 4:12Speaker 2: gonna be in a separate episode also aired today, So
- 4:15Speaker 2: if you want to hear about, you know, the real
- 4:17Speaker 2: behind the scenes of the coffee chat and what Trista
- 4:19Speaker 2: picked up on, make sure to listen to that. So
- 4:22Speaker 2: let's skip on to Keith's one on one. It's the
- 4:26Speaker 2: Descartes says, I want to love that gets better with
- 4:28Speaker 2: age love. Joan Marcus obviously disappointed that he's not going
- 4:31Speaker 2: to get the one on one, and at this point
- 4:33Speaker 2: I'm like, oh my gosh, is he not going to
- 4:34Speaker 2: get on one on one? Are they going to like
- 4:36Speaker 2: do one of those spin situations on us where somebody
- 4:39Speaker 2: gets two dates instead of marketing one.
- 4:42Speaker 3: But I'm glad, I'm really glad that he got the
- 4:44Speaker 3: one on one.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Eventually, on Keith's date, there's not a lot to take
- 4:48Speaker 2: away from She was obviously very emotionally shook by the
- 4:54Speaker 2: fact that the couple who owned the winery was married
- 4:57Speaker 2: for thirty two years, and that's how long she married for.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I knew the second they said thirty two. I was like,
- 5:04Speaker 2: and she couldn't keep it in, and I'm glad. I mean,
- 5:06Speaker 2: obviously you shouldn't keep it in. How would you've react
- 5:11Speaker 2: in a situation like that.
- 5:14Speaker 4: It probably would have. Of course, it's going to be
- 5:17Speaker 4: brought up that your former husband, you know, you're married
- 5:21Speaker 4: this long, you're still thinking about it. But what I
- 5:25Speaker 4: was hoping with this season, especially last episode and tonight's
- 5:31Speaker 4: episode or episode, is that they would be moving forward
- 5:37Speaker 4: in a hopeful like not concentrating on oh I lost
- 5:41Speaker 4: my wife, I lost my husband when he and I
- 5:44Speaker 4: were married, we did this. There seems to be more
- 5:47Speaker 4: concentration on discussing these things. So it's sad, Yeah, more
- 5:54Speaker 4: sad or that's that was what I took away from it.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Do you think that she thinks about him more when
- 6:02Speaker 2: she's on a date with somebody who maybe she's not
- 6:04Speaker 2: connecting with obviously, like Keith, Yeah, Like I don't know
- 6:08Speaker 2: that she would do that on a date with say, Chuck.
- 6:11Speaker 4: Yeah, true, but they've talked about it, and I guess
- 6:15Speaker 4: in this season they go on more one on one
- 6:20Speaker 4: dates than in like on our show. Yeah, many one
- 6:24Speaker 4: on one dates.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Right, Wait a second, on your show, did you have
- 6:28Speaker 2: mostly group dates one on one group date?
- 6:32Speaker 4: Yes?
- 6:33Speaker 2: Oh see I enjoy watching one on one dates better,
- 6:36Speaker 2: what about you?
- 6:38Speaker 4: Absolutely, because then you at least get to know the person.
- 6:41Speaker 4: You get to know them as a little more as
- 6:43Speaker 4: a couple on how they interact. They did six one
- 6:48Speaker 4: on ones, which was great. Yeah, you still didn't get
- 6:51Speaker 4: a takeaway last night or tonight for Keith. We didn't
- 6:56Speaker 4: get We don't know. Do you know anything else about
- 6:58Speaker 4: Keith other than his wife was an addict and he
- 7:01Speaker 4: stepped up and took the kids.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Now, what did stick out to me about this was that.
- 7:06Speaker 2: The girls haven't seen their mom in over twelve years.
- 7:10Speaker 4: I know.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Wow, I know.
- 7:13Speaker 2: So that's like even more intense than I would imagined.
- 7:16Speaker 2: He really has been a single parent.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Jon's very compassionate and that comes across. But it's like
- 7:25Speaker 4: they were stuck on that and it was hard to
- 7:28Speaker 4: move forward or they didn't move forward and end like
- 7:32Speaker 4: on a hopeful you know it wasn't progressing.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I again think that she talks about the past
- 7:39Speaker 2: as a conversation topic when she's at she's just stuck
- 7:44Speaker 2: and not connecting. Yeah, it's easy to like tell your
- 7:48Speaker 2: you know, go back and tell your story rather than
- 7:50Speaker 2: sure talk about like things you're into today, because that's
- 7:53Speaker 2: just that needs to roll. That's a conversation that rolls
- 7:57Speaker 2: instead of it's just different. Okay, So we leave that
- 8:02Speaker 2: Keith date pretty much thinking Keith's probably not getting a hometown,
- 8:05Speaker 2: but he did recover from last week where he just
- 8:08Speaker 2: rambled and then word salad, and you can at least
- 8:11Speaker 2: leave feeling like he revealed himself better.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Yeah. Okay.
- 8:15Speaker 2: So on the group date, they go to Lucky Strike
- 8:20Speaker 2: and the standout here is that Chock is stealing Joing
- 8:25Speaker 2: away a lot, which you know, we always have a
- 8:27Speaker 2: storyline on someday on some season that somebody is like
- 8:30Speaker 2: hogging time.
- 8:32Speaker 3: You guys can always butt in, you know, It's.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Just like you can always be like, Okay, my turn,
- 8:38Speaker 2: It's fine, that's like what you're supposed to do. But
- 8:40Speaker 2: the guys were like, he should be respectful enough to
- 8:42Speaker 2: share his time.
- 8:42Speaker 3: It's like, you know, I don't know that's not how
- 8:44Speaker 3: the show works. You can go up to you can go.
- 8:46Speaker 4: Up, but I could have elbowed their way in exactly.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Yeah. They thought though that her body language was all
- 8:55Speaker 2: like cuddled up to him. I thought her body language
- 8:58Speaker 2: said no, thank you.
- 9:00Speaker 4: She was, you know, like with her arms crossed over
- 9:04Speaker 4: her knees.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:05Speaker 4: I totally agree. I didn't. She wasn't leaning in.
- 9:10Speaker 2: He was around her his arm exactly, yeah, and her
- 9:14Speaker 2: back was towards him.
- 9:16Speaker 3: It was all off.
- 9:19Speaker 2: I think she felt uncomfortable him doing that in front
- 9:22Speaker 2: of the other guys. I'm pretty sure that's why her
- 9:24Speaker 2: bilanguage was off, because we obviously know that she likes
- 9:26Speaker 2: him from what we think the most.
- 9:29Speaker 4: From what we've seen.
- 9:40Speaker 3: I thought thought it was also weird that he said, like, so,
- 9:43Speaker 3: what side of the bed do you sleep on? Like
- 9:45Speaker 3: so rare and.
- 9:49Speaker 4: Come away with me or I'll take you.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Away yeah, or like can I have you now or
- 9:54Speaker 2: whatever that is. I was like, Okay, cute, but also
- 9:58Speaker 2: like you get in a little bizzy if.
- 10:01Speaker 4: I thought he was a little overbearing. Yeah, in the
- 10:04Speaker 4: just in the episode last night, but I think, gosh,
- 10:08Speaker 4: I wish I had a guy who was doing that
- 10:09Speaker 4: to me, like he really you know, he's going after it. Yeah,
- 10:13Speaker 4: he's he's making serious moves to get there.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I think totally agree.
- 10:20Speaker 2: All right, So on Mark's one on one, I went
- 10:24Speaker 2: into this just thinking that it wasn't.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Going to happen for the two of them.
- 10:28Speaker 2: I thought this was maybe going to be the day
- 10:30Speaker 2: in which she like had to let somebody go on
- 10:32Speaker 2: the date. I think the of course, the only reason
- 10:34Speaker 2: she didn't do that was because once she didn't have
- 10:38Speaker 2: a row, so she didn't have to make that decision
- 10:40Speaker 2: right then and there, right, And secondly, I don't think
- 10:44Speaker 2: she was going to like dump like dump him after
- 10:46Speaker 2: their conversation about their you know, late spouses.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Right.
- 10:52Speaker 4: I also wonder if because it was Kelsey's.
- 10:55Speaker 3: Dad, yeah, just the thought he got some benefits.
- 10:59Speaker 4: Because it was helped Kelsey's dead. She didn't want to
- 11:01Speaker 4: embarrass him.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Maybe, you know, if they could be.
- 11:04Speaker 4: That grost ceremony just because it is Kelsey's dead.
- 11:10Speaker 2: I think that there's like lots of dates in which
- 11:13Speaker 2: moments of silence that we saw between the two of
- 11:16Speaker 2: them happen. I don't think that's in bachelor world.
- 11:20Speaker 3: I don't think it's super awkward.
- 11:22Speaker 2: I think that they end up showing those moments on
- 11:25Speaker 2: dates that they want you to feel like it's awkward,
- 11:28Speaker 2: you know what I mean? Because they're like nine hour dates,
- 11:32Speaker 2: there are going to be sometimes pauses, especially when you're
- 11:35Speaker 2: like on a speedboat, no kidding, it was before they
- 11:38Speaker 2: were on the yacht, I feel like, and then it
- 11:42Speaker 2: was just like loud and it's just not a time
- 11:44Speaker 2: to have a really full blown conversation. True, So they're
- 11:47Speaker 2: going to make it feel awkward.
- 11:49Speaker 4: On there for nine hours.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Probably not on the Golden ones because they seem to
- 11:55Speaker 2: be like part you know how on the regular show there's.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Usually a daytime part of the day and then time.
- 12:01Speaker 2: With the Golden it seems to only be like one
- 12:04Speaker 2: half of that, So they're probably like four hours.
- 12:06Speaker 4: Because we get tired early.
- 12:10Speaker 3: And do you maybe right about that? Could be?
- 12:14Speaker 4: Could be yeah, But again I just didn't I didn't
- 12:16Speaker 4: feel I felt bad for both Keith and Mark and
- 12:21Speaker 4: they're both great guys, but they're no, there wasn't a connection,
- 12:25Speaker 4: and I I feel like one good thing that they
- 12:30Speaker 4: that I took away with took away from the episode
- 12:35Speaker 4: was that they going forward, they're happy for Joan they
- 12:39Speaker 4: wanted to find love, and I think they've hopefully grown
- 12:44Speaker 4: in their own skin, oh and are ready to go forward.
- 12:49Speaker 4: I was just hoping everything would be a little more.
- 12:52Speaker 3: Uplifting, especially for Mark.
- 12:55Speaker 2: He literally used this as a catapult into what could
- 12:59Speaker 2: be a new life for him. He's just I can't
- 13:02Speaker 2: get over the sweetness. I mean, is he not just
- 13:05Speaker 2: the definition in the dictionary of like perfect gentleman?
- 13:09Speaker 4: Yes, he's adorable.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Oh, he's like the perfect combination of masculine and then
- 13:16Speaker 2: also has like that open emotional side. He's not afraid
- 13:20Speaker 2: to show love. Oh, he loves so hard. He's just
- 13:23Speaker 2: like such a gentle gentle man.
- 13:26Speaker 4: Yes, and you can see you can see it in
- 13:29Speaker 4: his eyes.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Oh, there's like just this goodness in his eyes. Do
- 13:34Speaker 2: you think that they tease him up to be bachelor here?
- 13:40Speaker 4: I think it's a good possibility.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Yeah, especially when you think of the top four. It's
- 13:44Speaker 2: not gonna be guy, and then you know, who knows
- 13:48Speaker 2: who she ends up with.
- 13:49Speaker 3: I'm just gonna say she's not gonna end up with
- 13:51Speaker 3: a guy.
- 13:52Speaker 2: And I don't think the bachelor will be Pascal. He
- 13:56Speaker 2: a good one, like he would be pertaking hilarious. Kind
- 14:01Speaker 2: of like I don't want to like, he wouldn't be
- 14:02Speaker 2: a wamblo in the sense of, like, you know, him
- 14:06Speaker 2: being kind of scandalous, but he would be like a
- 14:10Speaker 2: wamblo and the thing in the way that he like
- 14:11Speaker 2: doesn't care what he says and he's just like outrageous.
- 14:16Speaker 4: He would be good TV.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Yeah, great TV.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Anyway, again, if there's a Bachelor in Paradise for y'all,
- 14:25Speaker 2: he'd be the perfect contestant.
- 14:27Speaker 3: How do you see Do you see a Bachelor in
- 14:29Speaker 3: Paradise for Golden Gosh?
- 14:32Speaker 4: I hope so, although I can't see, you know, all
- 14:37Speaker 4: of us in bikinis, like the.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Youngs, why I'm thinking it's instead Bachelor and not but
- 14:45Speaker 2: it's it's Golden Bachelor.
- 14:46Speaker 4: In visits Paradise or something.
- 14:49Speaker 3: I was gonna say.
- 14:50Speaker 2: It's gonna be like an aspen or like it's gonna
- 14:53Speaker 2: be in a cabin in the wood in like the mountains.
- 14:56Speaker 4: Right, that's a great idea.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Yeah, but still occasiony locale.
- 15:01Speaker 4: Right. I think it would be fun to get the
- 15:04Speaker 4: two groups together and what happens.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Yeah, well, okay, Nancy, you led me into a fun question.
- 15:13Speaker 3: It would be on your list who would you want
- 15:15Speaker 3: to see there?
- 15:16Speaker 2: Who would you tell the producers that you're like, I
- 15:18Speaker 2: would love to see I.
- 15:20Speaker 4: Would love to see.
- 15:22Speaker 3: Jonathan, of course you would.
- 15:25Speaker 4: Or gorgeous and and that's really good heart. I mean
- 15:31Speaker 4: a lot of them were impressive in that way.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Yeah, Jonathan also just like a gentle man.
- 15:37Speaker 3: And what what what a looker Jordan?
- 15:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I don't know, you know, I don't
- 15:48Speaker 4: want to say.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Who, Yeah, because you know things.
- 15:53Speaker 4: I know just a little bit.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Yeah, so like we don't have to outside the top
- 15:58Speaker 2: four Jonathan Jordan.
- 16:03Speaker 4: Guy, Well, no, not guy. I thought Charles was amazing.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Oh what a cute Even Suity.
- 16:11Speaker 4: America loves him.
- 16:13Speaker 3: He's a reason we need to have a spin off.
- 16:16Speaker 4: Exactly because you know what he gave you hope. He
- 16:20Speaker 4: he was he had gone through his emotions and you
- 16:25Speaker 4: know when Guy helped him figure out why his wife
- 16:29Speaker 4: actually died, you know, when she bit her tongue. Yeah,
- 16:35Speaker 4: when Charles left, you could see that he said I'm
- 16:39Speaker 4: ready to date. He hadn't dated anybody. It was so
- 16:42Speaker 4: it was so cute. But then he had an uplifting like,
- 16:46Speaker 4: but I'm ready I'm going to you know, go forward
- 16:50Speaker 4: and it was like, I think that's what we all love.
- 16:54Speaker 4: We all love a great story, and we want these
- 16:58Speaker 4: men to their people. I just hope they're ready, Like
- 17:04Speaker 4: you wonder, are they really ready? And I don't think
- 17:08Speaker 4: some of them are still trying to figure that out.
- 17:10Speaker 2: I would say that Charles and Mark stood out to
- 17:13Speaker 2: me as to you guys that possibly weren't. I started
- 17:16Speaker 2: thinking about like my own parents. I know that my dad,
- 17:21Speaker 2: it would be Romeo and Juliet if my mom ever
- 17:23Speaker 2: went before my dad.
- 17:25Speaker 3: The next day, my dad's taking poison.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Right, So let's talk about the decision that she made
- 17:42Speaker 2: to set Mark aside and kind of gently dump him before.
- 17:48Speaker 3: The Rose ceremony.
- 17:49Speaker 2: I think it was obviously a good idea. I think
- 17:52Speaker 2: it was, in the production sense, a good move to
- 17:57Speaker 2: lead him into becoming the back possibly and also a
- 18:02Speaker 2: place where maybe he gets benefits for being Kelsey's dad.
- 18:06Speaker 2: I agree, And also he gets I think the courtesy
- 18:13Speaker 2: because he did share such such a sad story. You know,
- 18:18Speaker 2: it's just like he's the widower left and the other
- 18:21Speaker 2: guys aren't widowers. And I think that it makes such
- 18:23Speaker 2: a difference when letting somebody go.
- 18:26Speaker 4: Definitely, I also think he was shocked.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, seeing his face change from being like
- 18:32Speaker 2: happy to just being like, oh, I'm getting dumbed right now.
- 18:35Speaker 3: It was really sad.
- 18:37Speaker 4: He had just gone in and talked to the guys.
- 18:39Speaker 4: I know, Oh it was great and I can see
- 18:42Speaker 4: a future. I wonder to meet my family.
- 18:45Speaker 2: You know.
- 18:45Speaker 4: And I think he when she came in and said, hey,
- 18:48Speaker 4: can we talk? I think he expected it to be
- 18:50Speaker 4: something good.
- 18:52Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I think so.
- 18:54Speaker 4: He done on his face. Yeah, who do you see?
- 18:57Speaker 4: Is the next Bachelor? Or am I allowed to ask.
- 18:59Speaker 3: You that you're allowed to ask me that?
- 19:01Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 19:01Speaker 3: Of course.
- 19:02Speaker 2: I definitely see it as being Mark. I'm a little
- 19:05Speaker 2: worried that he just might not be ready. I know
- 19:08Speaker 2: it's been six and a half years, but like, I
- 19:10Speaker 2: do feel like he might be bringing up Denise a
- 19:12Speaker 2: lot with the new women, which obviously is like fine,
- 19:16Speaker 2: but I don't know.
- 19:18Speaker 3: We'll see, we'll see.
- 19:18Speaker 2: And I could also see it being Jonathan, because you know,
- 19:21Speaker 2: he's such a stun as well. I mean like they're
- 19:24Speaker 2: like pretty tired. In my book, what I was thinking
- 19:27Speaker 2: about with Mark with this departure is that he was
- 19:32Speaker 2: talking up their date. But I think deep down. He knew,
- 19:35Speaker 2: and I think he's gonna have one of these situations.
- 19:37Speaker 2: I'm sure he did. We could talk to him about
- 19:39Speaker 2: it whenever we get him on here. That like, within
- 19:42Speaker 2: a day or two of leaving the mansion, he was
- 19:44Speaker 2: probably like, she was a great person to date, so
- 19:49Speaker 2: I could like help myself move on, but she definitely
- 19:52Speaker 2: wasn't my person. I think he probably realized that fast
- 19:55Speaker 2: that they didn't have it.
- 19:57Speaker 4: I bet he did. I bet he did all the
- 20:00Speaker 4: in the moment, I still think he was taken aback when.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Yeah, in the moment, you're totally in love.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Like, how do you feel thinking back on your experience
- 20:08Speaker 2: with Gary, Oh, interface.
- 20:13Speaker 4: I thought I was missing a tooth. They like a
- 20:17Speaker 4: month before I went anyway, I was. I had to
- 20:20Speaker 4: have a tooth pulled in the front. So they gave
- 20:23Speaker 4: me a retainer with a tooth, and so I was
- 20:27Speaker 4: more quiet in general because I was afraid I would
- 20:30Speaker 4: lisp with the retainer and then Brian, my producer, would say,
- 20:35Speaker 4: Nancy came here, you have something in your retainer. No way,
- 20:39Speaker 4: you cannot make this up.
- 20:42Speaker 3: So you were not your most confident.
- 20:43Speaker 4: I was not, and I was quiet, which back to Mark,
- 20:47Speaker 4: I know he's more soft spoken than some of the men.
- 20:52Speaker 4: I think there's nothing wrong with that, but I also
- 20:55Speaker 4: think he needed to maybe try a little harder.
- 21:01Speaker 3: Uh huh, Yeah, he wasn't a.
- 21:02Speaker 4: Little more vocal and talk a little more about other things.
- 21:08Speaker 3: As well, Yeah, not just his form or y. Yeah.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Do you think that they put that date card on
- 21:17Speaker 2: the date for the scavenger hunt because things were quiet?
- 21:21Speaker 4: Yes?
- 21:21Speaker 3: Yeah, you think that they were like, Okay, I we
- 21:23Speaker 3: need a nice breaker here. We don't want it to
- 21:25Speaker 3: be too weird.
- 21:26Speaker 4: Right right, because I think it would have been pretty
- 21:29Speaker 4: quiet and pretty.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Yeah, all right.
- 21:34Speaker 4: And I don't know if that means he's not ready
- 21:36Speaker 4: or not. I don't, you know, you never know.
- 21:38Speaker 3: He might just be a quiet guy. He's cute. He's
- 21:40Speaker 3: so cute, all right.
- 21:41Speaker 4: He's cute.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Rose ceremony.
- 21:46Speaker 2: This is where we see Jonathan, which we already said
- 21:49Speaker 2: we were shocked that he went home.
- 21:51Speaker 3: I'm glad that she walked.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Him out too, and they had that little conversation. I
- 21:58Speaker 2: still like, I know you talked about it, but I
- 22:00Speaker 2: gotta talk about it again. I can't believe that guy
- 22:03Speaker 2: got beyond him.
- 22:04Speaker 4: They had I I could see their connection you.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Can see connection with who with Jonathan and Joe, Yeah,
- 22:12Speaker 3: and we both couldn't with Guy. So did you talk
- 22:15Speaker 3: to her about Guy?
- 22:17Speaker 2: Have I?
- 22:18Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 22:19Speaker 2: Yes, okay, So and she and you said that she
- 22:22Speaker 2: said that there was something.
- 22:24Speaker 4: Yes, absolutely, and I think there is a connection. I
- 22:28Speaker 4: just couldn't see it like you could see it with Jonathan,
- 22:32Speaker 4: with Chalk, even some with Jordan, but I couldn't see
- 22:38Speaker 4: in Pascal. I think they had a connection too at
- 22:41Speaker 4: the beginning.
- 22:42Speaker 3: What did she tell you about these guys?
- 22:46Speaker 4: She said, Pascal was fun, like, he's a fun guy.
- 22:50Speaker 4: Also Keith same thing, fun, fun guy, exciting, would never
- 22:55Speaker 4: be boring kind of thing. And I, I know, I'm
- 23:04Speaker 4: trying to think who else? She Jonathan she thinks or
- 23:09Speaker 4: thought was amazing. And although he had two young children.
- 23:14Speaker 3: Yeah they're younger. Yeah, it looked like they were preteen teen.
- 23:19Speaker 4: Which, honestly, I think that's kind of a negative.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Different parts of life.
- 23:24Speaker 4: Yeah, in our age group, you meet somebody and they
- 23:28Speaker 4: have an eleven year old. That person not that you
- 23:32Speaker 4: have to move, but you know, that's what all of
- 23:34Speaker 4: this is about. Right in the golden part, you know,
- 23:37Speaker 4: the house is already established, You're in your community. Of course,
- 23:41Speaker 4: you're looking for love, and I do believe if you
- 23:44Speaker 4: meet the right person, you're going to make it work.
- 23:48Speaker 4: But you compromise. But I couldn't see him leaving Iowa
- 23:54Speaker 4: with younger children.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Yeah, good point, And.
- 23:57Speaker 4: I think she was ready to move forward. I think
- 24:02Speaker 4: she's ready to find somebody and make a new life
- 24:06Speaker 4: with whether you have your house, his house and a
- 24:11Speaker 4: new house for the two of you, whatever. But I
- 24:16Speaker 4: think that's it's just a little obstacle having younger children.
- 24:20Speaker 3: That's a good point. I wish that was brought up
- 24:23Speaker 3: a little bit more. You could tell though from his.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Package earlier in the season that he had younger kids.
- 24:27Speaker 2: And then he showed the picture and you're like, that
- 24:29Speaker 2: picture is not.
- 24:29Speaker 3: Dated, right?
- 24:31Speaker 2: Did she get off the show and want to set
- 24:33Speaker 2: you up and play match Baker with the ladies.
- 24:37Speaker 4: I think she'd like to set all of us up.
- 24:39Speaker 4: You know, She's like, I would love for every of
- 24:41Speaker 4: all of us to make a connection. And I think
- 24:44Speaker 4: that's where she said, we've got to have some kind
- 24:47Speaker 4: of either you know, the Goldens visit Paradise, which would
- 24:52Speaker 4: be fun or but I don't want to be on
- 24:55Speaker 4: it would be funny. I think if the Goldens were
- 24:58Speaker 4: coming on to visit PA at Bachelor in Paradise with
- 25:01Speaker 4: these twenty five year olds, like, we're not gonna we
- 25:04Speaker 4: could give advice, right, or hey, who do you like?
- 25:07Speaker 2: Or well, you know how they have proms and stuff,
- 25:10Speaker 2: so you guys could be at one of the proms.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Then you have a mixer, right, But we would need
- 25:16Speaker 2: to follow your stories, so it needs see more of
- 25:18Speaker 2: than disappearance. I know.
- 25:19Speaker 4: I hope they do follow our story because we're all
- 25:22Speaker 4: in the same boat, and we all you know, went
- 25:24Speaker 4: through it, and you know, we would all still like
- 25:27Speaker 4: to find someone.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Have you mingled with any of the guys, because I
- 25:32Speaker 2: know that you know, on the main show, there's DM sliding,
- 25:36Speaker 2: there's even just like you meet each other at events
- 25:39Speaker 2: and at the live shows.
- 25:40Speaker 4: Right, and that hasn't happened yet.
- 25:43Speaker 3: Uh huh.
- 25:43Speaker 4: But I haven't met any of them yet. Okay, well,
- 25:49Speaker 4: actually that's not true. I met one of them.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Who's that.
- 25:57Speaker 4: I did meet one of them?
- 25:59Speaker 2: Oh okay, you've met one of them? Maybe perhaps the
- 26:02Speaker 2: one that she ends up.
- 26:02Speaker 4: With just briefly.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Okay, perhaps, Nancy, where do you see the season going?
- 26:07Speaker 2: I know, you know some spoilers, So just give us
- 26:10Speaker 2: some vague some vague pleasantries.
- 26:13Speaker 4: I think I see some. I think there's going to
- 26:17Speaker 4: be some drama at the end. I mean, Mark wasn't drama,
- 26:21Speaker 4: you know, her letting him go, But I think it
- 26:23Speaker 4: was unexpected for all of us that he left and
- 26:27Speaker 4: Jonathan leaving. But I think there's more to come as
- 26:30Speaker 4: we get closer to the end, and I hope that
- 26:35Speaker 4: she finds her guy.
- 26:38Speaker 2: Can you say if she's happy now? And one of
- 26:41Speaker 2: the last time you spoke to her.
- 26:42Speaker 4: Was yes, she's very happy three days ago.
- 26:46Speaker 3: Okay, I speak with her.
- 26:48Speaker 4: And she lives twenty minutes we lived twenty yet art,
- 26:51Speaker 4: so it's we've actually become better friends since we left
- 26:55Speaker 4: the show.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Do you guys have like little girl dates and the DMV?
- 27:01Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 27:02Speaker 3: Oh nice, Okay, great, that's fun.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Well, like I've said, I need to do that. I
- 27:06Speaker 2: need to crash one of your girl dates. Where do
- 27:08Speaker 2: you I'm from Grade Falls, but I but but I'm
- 27:13Speaker 2: but I live in Rhode Island right now.
- 27:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Yeah, but I'm home all the time you are. Yeah,
- 27:19Speaker 2: it's like every like three weeks. People are like, why
- 27:22Speaker 2: do you go home so much? I'm like, because I
- 27:24Speaker 2: love my family.
- 27:25Speaker 4: Perfect, you can come over.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Okay, sounds good? All righty well, Nancy, thank you so
- 27:31Speaker 3: much for coming on. And we hope that you find
- 27:33Speaker 3: somebody from her group of guys. Okay, we're rooting for this.
- 27:37Speaker 2: I can see you're really hot with Jonathan. You guys
- 27:41Speaker 2: just look at together. I'm shipping it.
- 27:46Speaker 4: I love it. Okay, keep it and keep your you know,
- 27:48Speaker 4: if you hear anybody else any feelers out there, let
- 27:51Speaker 4: me know. Okay, well, okay, yeah, pleasure, thank you.
- 27:56Speaker 3: Bye, thank you.
