- 1:49Speaker 1: we get together. I'm grateful that you do, and I'm
- 1:52Speaker 1: grateful that you're telling your friends. And if you just

- 2:02Speaker 1: do that. Tell two friends about us today, lots to
- 2:05Speaker 1: get to my email address, that Kevin Show at gmail
- 2:08Speaker 1: dot com, that Kevinshow at gmail dot com. I am
- 2:11Speaker 1: feeling this year even more than traditionally. I am feeling
- 2:15Speaker 1: this year festive about Mother's Day, which is next Sunday.
- 2:19Speaker 1: And man, I just I just got to I just
- 2:22Speaker 1: have to tell you this. I've got to get it
- 2:24Speaker 1: off my chest. If you do not make the biggest, sappiest,
- 2:31Speaker 1: fattest deal in the world, a big, fat, sappy, happy
- 2:35Speaker 1: deal about everything related to the mother of your children
- 2:39Speaker 1: and the mother who raised you, you, sir, are a
- 2:44Speaker 1: person to be deeply mourned, because I don't think you'll
- 2:48Speaker 1: be long for this world. Here's here's here's my here's
- 2:51Speaker 1: my real bottom line. Love the fact that there have
- 2:57Speaker 1: been so many diligent, faithful, persistent mothers that have given
- 3:04Speaker 1: such life to so many amazing people. And I don't
- 3:09Speaker 1: think we can do enough to say thank you, not
- 3:11Speaker 1: not for one day. So I've I started this a
- 3:14Speaker 1: couple of years ago, but this is gonna be Mother's Week.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Uh not just Mother's Day on Sunday, but Mother's Week,
- 3:20Speaker 1: and we're gonna we're gonna think about moms. I'm actually
- 3:23Speaker 1: gonna talk to you a little bit about public policy
- 3:26Speaker 1: and data and science and moms because there's a whole
- 3:29Speaker 1: lot that we don't we never talk about, but it's
- 3:31Speaker 1: super important in terms of understanding the impact that a
- 3:34Speaker 1: mother has on kids. And it's just it's just a
- 3:38Speaker 1: love letter to moms all week this week. And if
- 3:41Speaker 1: you're if you've never had kids and you always wanted one,
- 3:44Speaker 1: but you've been a mentor to somebody, if you if
- 3:47Speaker 1: you have been a spiritual mother to someone, if you've
- 3:49Speaker 1: been you know, a substitutionary mom, a step mom, someone
- 3:55Speaker 1: who moved into a kid's life and had to be
- 3:58Speaker 1: a mom when they didn't have one, I this is
- 4:01Speaker 1: all about you as well. Uh So there's there's an
- 4:05Speaker 1: incredible opportunity this week for us to just celebrate moms
- 4:09Speaker 1: in the most spectacular way possible. I am reminded every
- 4:12Speaker 1: single day how unique, special and amazing mothers are. And
- 4:18Speaker 1: though I do not have one that's walking on this
- 4:20Speaker 1: planet any longer, biologically, I have I have one very
- 4:24Speaker 1: dear person who has been kind of a surrogate mom
- 4:27Speaker 1: to me for years. We've reconnected in recent months and
- 4:31Speaker 1: it's just been it's been a joy to have her
- 4:34Speaker 1: back in my life, bouncing all kinds of things off
- 4:37Speaker 1: of her, saying what do you think about this? And
- 4:38Speaker 1: how about that? And so forth. And I don't know
- 4:42Speaker 1: where you're at on this journey, maybe your mom who
- 4:44Speaker 1: has you know, some some heartache with your kids right now,
- 4:50Speaker 1: choices they've made, choices other people have made. I want,
- 4:54Speaker 1: I want us to celebrate those of you that are
- 4:58Speaker 1: that are in the trenches, sticking it out, praying and
- 5:01Speaker 1: working like mad to be an influence on your kid's
- 5:05Speaker 1: life and knowing that many many times it comes with
- 5:09Speaker 1: less than perfect results, and sometimes it comes with a
- 5:12Speaker 1: great deal of heartache. You are over you are not overlooked,
- 5:16Speaker 1: you are not forgotten. This week on this show, we
- 5:19Speaker 1: will celebrate mothers in an amazing way, and by the way,
- 5:22Speaker 1: We're going to put our money where our mouth is too.
- 5:25Speaker 1: If you have not yet signed up to win two
- 5:27Speaker 1: thousand dollars for Mom, you have just six days left.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Go to that kevinshow dot com, click on promotions and
- 5:35Speaker 1: register to win two thousand dollars cash for Mom. Maybe
- 5:41Speaker 1: you can't buy her the Chanel bag she wants, but
- 5:43Speaker 1: two thousand dollars could help. Maybe she doesn't want the
- 5:46Speaker 1: Chanel bag. Maybe she wants to take a flight to
- 5:50Speaker 1: come see you. Maybe you want to use it to
- 5:54Speaker 1: be able to do something for her that she's not
- 5:56Speaker 1: been able to do for herself. Whatever the case may be,
- 5:59Speaker 1: we are giving away two thousand dollars for Mom for
- 6:03Speaker 1: Mother's Day, and all you got to do to register
- 6:06Speaker 1: for your chance to win is go to that kevinshow
- 6:07Speaker 1: dot com and click on the promotions tab and then
- 6:11Speaker 1: be listening and you can You can enter as many
- 6:12Speaker 1: times as you want to. You can enter as often
- 6:15Speaker 1: as you want to. I think I think once per
- 6:17Speaker 1: day actually is the limit, But as many days as
- 6:19Speaker 1: you wish between now and Mother's Day, and we're gonna
- 6:22Speaker 1: we're gonna make someone really really happy. Also, speaking of
- 6:25Speaker 1: making someone happy, I promised last week that we were
- 6:28Speaker 1: giving away another That Kevin Show mug with the America
- 6:31Speaker 1: two fifty emblem on it, and then I didn't give
- 6:33Speaker 1: one away. So I am going to announce today the
- 6:41Speaker 1: name that we did draw on Friday, Alexander Franco from
- 6:45Speaker 1: Studio City, California. You will be receiving the new That
- 6:49Speaker 1: Kevin Show mug with America two fifty on the back.
- 6:53Speaker 1: It's a collector's edition and I hope that it I
- 6:57Speaker 1: hope that it just blesses your coffee and your diet
- 7:00Speaker 1: coke or whatever else you put in that thing. I
- 7:03Speaker 1: hope that it's just a real fun part of your
- 7:06Speaker 1: life for being able to enjoy That Kevin Show in
- 7:10Speaker 1: mug form. And friends, if you want to get one
- 7:12Speaker 1: for yourself, we've got them. They're really sharp looking and
- 7:14Speaker 1: they hold more than the old mugs did. In the
- 7:17Speaker 1: old store, we used to have really sharp That Kevin
- 7:20Speaker 1: Show mugs and all it would hold is an Americano.
- 7:23Speaker 1: These there's room for an Americano and then I can
- 7:25Speaker 1: get two more espressos in it as well. Don't ask
- 7:28Speaker 1: me why I need three shots of coffee in one cup,
- 7:32Speaker 1: but I'm just saying I can, and it's nice to
- 7:35Speaker 1: know that I can. I'm not saying that I do.
- 7:36Speaker 1: I'm not saying that I don't. I'm just saying it's
- 7:40Speaker 1: it's able to hold it. The capacity is there. That's
- 7:43Speaker 1: what I'm getting at in respect to that. So, yeah,
- 7:48Speaker 1: register for your chance to win that. We're going to
- 7:51Speaker 1: give another mug away on Friday and all week long.
- 7:55Speaker 1: We're going to highlight mom in song at the end
- 7:57Speaker 1: of the end of the show as well. So five
- 8:00Speaker 1: Mother's Day songs for your week, And I'm looking forward
- 8:03Speaker 1: to seeing how you celebrate moms. By the way, I'd
- 8:09Speaker 1: love for you to send me a note about what
- 8:12Speaker 1: made your mom special. I'd love to read some of
- 8:14Speaker 1: these on the air this week. I'm gonna ask some
- 8:16Speaker 1: of our guests why was your mom special to you?
- 8:19Speaker 1: What was it? What was the one significant thing that
- 8:22Speaker 1: touched you in a way that mom only mom could do.
- 8:26Speaker 1: And I'm just I would love to just celebrate mothers
- 8:29Speaker 1: with you. It's Yay moms. We're going to give moms cash.
- 8:34Speaker 1: We will draw probably the name of a mom on
- 8:36Speaker 1: Friday for a mug We are going to celebrate mothers
- 8:39Speaker 1: all week and We've got even special music for that.
- 8:42Speaker 1: So I just hope that you'll stick around for the
- 8:44Speaker 1: entire week. It's going to be a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful
- 8:47Speaker 1: week celebrating moms the way they should be celebrated. Real quickly,
- 8:52Speaker 1: let me get you caught up on some news. This
- 8:54Speaker 1: breaking news. The United Arab Emirates had to announce that
- 9:00Speaker 1: their air defense systems were busy responding to a missile
- 9:05Speaker 1: threat earlier this morning. They were encouraging their people in
- 9:10Speaker 1: the UAE to remain in a safe location and follow
- 9:14Speaker 1: official channels for warnings and updates. This is all in
- 9:17Speaker 1: expectation of Iran not agreeing to anything and still trying
- 9:24Speaker 1: to act bad. They say that their air defenses are responding,
- 9:29Speaker 1: and the UA Defense Ministry said it intercepted four missiles
- 9:32Speaker 1: that were launched from Iran this morning. So, you know,
- 9:36Speaker 1: while we're hopeful that a positive conclusion to all of
- 9:41Speaker 1: that can occur, it looks that, you know, Iran has
- 9:44Speaker 1: not yet learned its lesson. So we'll continue to follow
- 9:48Speaker 1: this story through the week as we can. All Right,
- 9:50Speaker 1: Happy Mothers Week. Kevin McCullough, coming right back. Don't go what.
- 9:57Speaker 8: Do you owe back taxes or have unfiled tax turns.
- 10:00Speaker 8: The IRS won't quit until they get your money. Here's
- 10:03Speaker 8: great news fresh from those in the No major changes
- 10:06Speaker 8: have happened at the IRS. If you owe more than
- 10:09Speaker 8: ten thousand dollars, you may be eligible for a ninety
- 10:11Speaker 8: nine percent reduction of what you owe. Haven't filed a
- 10:14Speaker 8: return for a while. Their happy clients are talking.
- 10:16Speaker 9: The IRS was going to levy my bank account, but
- 10:19Speaker 9: Guardian was able to prevent that and fix all my
- 10:22Speaker 9: IRS issues.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Thanks again, Guardian Tax.
- 10:24Speaker 8: Need relief from crushing tax depth. The IRS now has
- 10:27Speaker 8: special programs. Guardian Tax knows all about them, personal or business.
- 10:31Speaker 8: This is the fresh new break you've been hoping for.
- 10:34Speaker 8: We aren't the company you call when you need a
- 10:36Speaker 8: hug because you're scared of the IRS. Guardian Tax is
- 10:39Speaker 8: the company that wins when you need it most.
- 10:41Speaker 10: Guardian Tax Service is really great to work with. They
- 10:44Speaker 10: really helped me out. I'd recommend them highly.

- 10:56Speaker 11: Hey, their parents' grandparents. Isn't it frustrating what our kids
- 10:59Speaker 11: are aringlearning about where we come from, why we're here,
- 11:02Speaker 11: all the big questions. Sadly, they're being told we're here
- 11:05Speaker 11: by chance, a happy accident with no real purpose. So
- 11:07Speaker 11: I'm telling everyone I can about the new powerful documentary,
- 11:11Speaker 11: The Story of Everything, The Story of Everything so impressive,
- 11:14Speaker 11: a dynamic documentary that explores the mathematics of fine tuning
- 11:18Speaker 11: the code embedded in DNA and asks the questions that
- 11:21Speaker 11: mainstream media totally avoids.
- 11:23Speaker 1: So let's equip each.
- 11:24Speaker 11: Other and our kids with the truth about the universe
- 11:27Speaker 11: and our creator. It's an absolute game changer, The Story

- 11:58Speaker 1: Besly Financial Group is not a law firm, ask yourself
- 12:00Speaker 1: this question.
- 12:01Speaker 12: Is it really worth holding on to that time share
- 12:04Speaker 12: that you know you need to get rid of?
- 12:06Speaker 1: Here's the truth.
- 12:07Speaker 12: The average maintenance fee just went up over seventeen percent.
- 12:11Speaker 12: That could have been one hundred and seventeen percent, and
- 12:14Speaker 12: there's nothing you can do about it. When you buy
- 12:16Speaker 12: a time share, you give them a blank check for
- 12:19Speaker 12: annual maintenance and assessment fees. I'm Chuck McDowell, founder of
- 12:23Speaker 12: Wesley Financial Group. For fifteen years, I've helped over fifty
- 12:26Speaker 12: thousand families cancel their time share, not sell it, not
- 12:30Speaker 12: transfer it, cancel it. Did you buy a timeshare because
- 12:33Speaker 12: they told you it was a great investment and your
- 12:35Speaker 12: maintenance fees would.
- 12:36Speaker 6: Never go up? That's a lie.
- 12:38Speaker 12: Are you ready to get rid of your time share
- 12:41Speaker 12: once and for all? Simply call us and I'll send
- 12:44Speaker 12: you our time share exit kit that explains all your
- 12:47Speaker 12: options for cancelation.
- 12:48Speaker 4: Call Wesley now for your time share exit kit. Eight

- 14:08Speaker 4: Here he is from New York. That Kevin McCullough.
- 14:16Speaker 1: All right, welcome, it's a brand new week. Kevin mccaullaugh.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Glad to have you with us, and as I was
- 14:20Speaker 1: saying in the opening, I always look forward to Monday
- 14:22Speaker 1: because as we kick off the new series for How
- 14:25Speaker 1: Do We Live? I get excited about this stuff. See
- 14:29Speaker 1: the shepherds that come on with me, that have been
- 14:31Speaker 1: studying and usually already preach this material. It's kind of
- 14:35Speaker 1: old hat to them, but for us, for me, for you,
- 14:38Speaker 1: it is brand new. And when we ask the big question,
- 14:40Speaker 1: how do we live? How do we live in a
- 14:42Speaker 1: world that despises God? Or if they're okay with God,
- 14:45Speaker 1: they probably don't care for his word too much. And
- 14:48Speaker 1: this generic idea of who God is is probably all
- 14:50Speaker 1: they're okay with, because if you attach God to the scriptures,
- 14:55Speaker 1: suddenly the attitude changes quite dramatically in the culture. But
- 14:58Speaker 1: how do we in spite of that, in spite of
- 15:01Speaker 1: the fact that they dislike God, have no use for
- 15:03Speaker 1: his word, they look at us as though we're the uh,
- 15:06Speaker 1: you know, weird step cousins. How do we? How do
- 15:09Speaker 1: we live? I argue that we live on mission regardless
- 15:14Speaker 1: that we that we stay hopefully in the center of
- 15:19Speaker 1: God's plan for us and winsome lee telling the good
- 15:22Speaker 1: news of the Gospel of Jesus, because that is the
- 15:25Speaker 1: only name that can do anything for the people that
- 15:28Speaker 1: we want to reach. And so we're trying to build
- 15:30Speaker 1: up our mind and deepen our thinking every single day
- 15:33Speaker 1: here early in the show so that we we we
- 15:37Speaker 1: we continue to kind of work our way into that goal.
- 15:41Speaker 1: This week, I'm excited to introduce a brand new contributor
- 15:44Speaker 1: to How Do We How Do We Live? Pastor Dan
- 15:46Speaker 1: Nelson is the founding pastor of Calvary Chapel in the
- 15:50Speaker 1: o High Valley in California and uh. He he's known
- 15:54Speaker 1: for verse by verse exposition. We love expositors here, we
- 15:58Speaker 1: love good ex Jesus here. Dan, it's great to have you.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Thanks for spending this week with us.
- 16:03Speaker 13: I'm glad to be here, Kevin, thank you for having me.
- 16:06Speaker 1: You got it. What are we going to look at?
- 16:08Speaker 1: What's the theme for this week?
- 16:10Speaker 14: Well, in response to the way that we are as
- 16:14Speaker 14: Christians responding to some of the attitudes and even the
- 16:17Speaker 14: vitriol and hatred that's out there, it's really anti christ.
- 16:21Speaker 14: I really believe that it's important that we look at
- 16:25Speaker 14: this biblically, that we look at it from a Jesus
- 16:27Speaker 14: perspective and understand that these are people that Jesus loves,
- 16:32Speaker 14: and we want to shine a light that really represents
- 16:35Speaker 14: Christ and really honors the calling of God in our
- 16:39Speaker 14: own lives. So I've sort of laid it out in
- 16:43Speaker 14: a fivefold approach, that we stand in truth, that we
- 16:46Speaker 14: stand in grace, that we stand in His love, that
- 16:51Speaker 14: we stand in humility, and that we are not compromising Kevin,
- 17:00Speaker 14: that we are bold in our approach. And I really
- 17:03Speaker 14: believe that it's important that we get it right because
- 17:07Speaker 14: there is a world that is lost and dying without
- 17:11Speaker 14: the truth. It's wandering ancher lists, and I really believe
- 17:16Speaker 14: that Christians are called to this moment.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Well, I think that you touched on two themes that
- 17:22Speaker 1: over the last two years continue to bubble to the top.
- 17:26Speaker 1: And I think that there's a reason for that. You
- 17:28Speaker 1: mentioned standing in truth and standing in love. You know,
- 17:31Speaker 1: truth without love becomes very harsh legalism, and love without
- 17:37Speaker 1: truth becomes the recipe for utter societal chaos. And it's
- 17:42Speaker 1: the balance of those two. And interestingly enough, that's what
- 17:45Speaker 1: Jesus gave us. We're going to talk about truth today,
- 17:48Speaker 1: and you're directing us to the Gospel of John chapter seventeen.
- 17:52Speaker 1: What do we find there?
- 17:53Speaker 14: Well, in John seventeen, Jesus is praying. It's a profound,
- 17:58Speaker 14: profound passage, one of my favorite of all places in
- 18:01Speaker 14: this scripture because it's so rich with meaning. But he's
- 18:05Speaker 14: praying for us, the church, and part of that prayer
- 18:08Speaker 14: that we'd be in unity, that we would be one,
- 18:11Speaker 14: that we would represent the unity that Jesus has with
- 18:15Speaker 14: the Father, and that we would walk in truth, because
- 18:19Speaker 14: Jesus himself is truth. You see, Kevin, He's called us
- 18:24Speaker 14: as his lights. Jesus is the light of the world,
- 18:26Speaker 14: as you know and as your listeners know, but he's
- 18:29Speaker 14: also said that we are his lights, and that we're
- 18:32Speaker 14: called in that prayer and elsewhere to walk in that truth,
- 18:37Speaker 14: to shine that light brightly and not to hide it.
- 18:41Speaker 14: And that's really where I think it's so important that
- 18:43Speaker 14: we're not compromising that truth just to win friends and
- 18:48Speaker 14: influence people thinking that we're helping, but we're actually not
- 18:52Speaker 14: helping a world that needs the truth that's only found
- 18:57Speaker 14: in Christ.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Well, that is completely the basis of what we're trying
- 19:04Speaker 1: to deal with because the culture pushes falsehoods. You know,
- 19:07Speaker 1: they I mentioned that they hate God, they really despise
- 19:11Speaker 1: his word and the combination together is very convicting. Like
- 19:17Speaker 1: I don't see the world's pushback on everything as necessarily bad,
- 19:23Speaker 1: like like that's that's how the sinful heart reacts. It
- 19:27Speaker 1: doesn't want to accept what the truth has for it,
- 19:31Speaker 1: even even sometimes with love. But that doesn't change what
- 19:35Speaker 1: we're supposed to do. We got to be we got
- 19:38Speaker 1: to be winsome. We don't go soft on the truth though,
- 19:42Speaker 1: and you want to and you emphasize this, it's not truth.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Isn't for us to just say, well, I'm going to
- 19:48Speaker 1: make it what I want it to be. Truth. Truth
- 19:50Speaker 1: is truth, and we have to we have to stick
- 19:52Speaker 1: to that.
- 19:53Speaker 13: That's so true, you know.
- 19:54Speaker 14: End that prayer recorded in John seventeen at verse seventeen,
- 19:58Speaker 14: Jesus prayed sanctify them, meaning us his people, by your truth.
- 20:05Speaker 14: He was speaking to the Father. Your word is truth.
- 20:10Speaker 14: So how can we stand in truth unless we know
- 20:13Speaker 14: his word? So I think it's so important that Christians
- 20:17Speaker 14: get back into the Bible if they're not regularly studying
- 20:21Speaker 14: the Bible diligently. The scriptures remind us and exhort us
- 20:25Speaker 14: study to show ourselves approved the workmen that need not
- 20:27Speaker 14: be shamed rightly dividing the word of truth. So we
- 20:30Speaker 14: need to rightly understand so we don't twist it and
- 20:34Speaker 14: misunderstand and then misapply. I really believe the world needs
- 20:38Speaker 14: Christians right now to take us stand with a true understanding,
- 20:44Speaker 14: a true grace, an accurate representation of His great light
- 20:51Speaker 14: his answer.
- 20:52Speaker 13: So my point here.
- 20:53Speaker 14: Is that if Jesus prayed sanctify, that means to set
- 20:58Speaker 14: us aside as he's making as his holy people, that
- 21:02Speaker 14: we can truly be a bright light and not a
- 21:05Speaker 14: dim light. Then he does it through his method, and
- 21:09Speaker 14: in that statement, he's praying that we would be sanctified
- 21:12Speaker 14: through his truth.
- 21:13Speaker 13: Which is his word.
- 21:15Speaker 14: So I think it really begins there, Kevin, that we
- 21:18Speaker 14: get back into the Bible. In John fourteen, when Jesus
- 21:22Speaker 14: said I Am the Way, the Truth, and the Life,
- 21:26Speaker 14: he was speaking a.
- 21:27Speaker 13: Clarion call to all of us. So we don't need
- 21:30Speaker 13: to look to the world.
- 21:32Speaker 14: We don't need to look to the politics, we don't
- 21:33Speaker 14: need to look to the culture or to society in
- 21:36Speaker 14: general to give us our standards for truth. And that's
- 21:39Speaker 14: the challenge Kevin, we're facing right now where truth is
- 21:43Speaker 14: being treated as if it's subjective. Your truth versus my
- 21:46Speaker 14: truth and situational truth. The fact is is real truth
- 21:51Speaker 14: transcends time, it transcends space. So if it's true for
- 21:55Speaker 14: me and you, it's also going to be true in Egypt,
- 21:58Speaker 14: It's going to be true in Venuzu way life. It's
- 22:00Speaker 14: going to be true for the Christians in Iran today,
- 22:03Speaker 14: or we're anywhere in the world. The truth of God
- 22:07Speaker 14: is going to transcend culture, language.
- 22:10Speaker 1: That universal aspect of it. And Jesus was very clear
- 22:14Speaker 1: in that verse that you just quoted, He's not He
- 22:18Speaker 1: doesn't shade it at all. He made some pretty stark
- 22:24Speaker 1: boundaries with what he meant about things, and this is
- 22:28Speaker 1: one of the most declarative, affirmative acknowledgments of his deity
- 22:33Speaker 1: that we have in all scripture.
- 22:35Speaker 14: You are one hundred percent spot on, Kevin, and you
- 22:38Speaker 14: brought up the love of God, and the truth is
- 22:41Speaker 14: is God loves people, and it's the most loving thing
- 22:45Speaker 14: to do to tell them the truth.
- 22:47Speaker 13: It is not a loving thing to lie to them.
- 22:50Speaker 14: To deceive them, to put a shadow over the truth,
- 22:54Speaker 14: just because we somehow believe that they can't handle the truth,
- 22:57Speaker 14: as if we're protecting people from them selves. That's a
- 23:01Speaker 14: very disrespectful thing to do, as oh, I can handle
- 23:05Speaker 14: the truth, but you can't handle the truth. So Jesus
- 23:08Speaker 14: was clear and presenting the truth about himself, and I
- 23:12Speaker 14: really believe it's a loving thing to do to share
- 23:17Speaker 14: that truth with other people, and an uncompromising, gentle, humble,
- 23:23Speaker 14: but clear way. Jesus is the way. Jesus is the truth,
- 23:28Speaker 14: and Jesus is the life. And no one comes to
- 23:32Speaker 14: the Father except through him.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Yeah, as we kind of come to a close just
- 23:38Speaker 1: less than a minute, you say, in terms of applying this,
- 23:41Speaker 1: don't argue everything, be clear where it matters. I think
- 23:45Speaker 1: that self editing on our part is really good because
- 23:49Speaker 1: we're not going to win every battle and we don't
- 23:51Speaker 1: have to. But to tell the truth and to be
- 23:54Speaker 1: clear where it matters, I think is really key.
- 23:57Speaker 6: That's so true.
- 23:58Speaker 13: You know.
- 23:58Speaker 14: In Colossians and the New Estimate, chapter four, verse six,
- 24:01Speaker 14: the apostle Paul says, let your speech always be seasoned
- 24:05Speaker 14: with grace, Always be with grace, seasoned with salt. And
- 24:11Speaker 14: it really speaks to how we're to engage with people.
- 24:15Speaker 14: Were the shine of light that represents Christ, would it
- 24:18Speaker 14: be loving, would it be gentle?
- 24:20Speaker 13: But would it be bold. Yeah, where to tell them
- 24:22Speaker 13: the truth?
- 24:24Speaker 1: All right? Dan, what a great kickoff for the Standing
- 24:27Speaker 1: in series that we are going to do this week.
- 24:29Speaker 1: And I'm looking forward to the remaining topics Standing in Grace,
- 24:33Speaker 1: standing in humility, standing in peace, and standing in the
- 24:37Speaker 1: power of the Holy Spirit. I think it's really going
- 24:39Speaker 1: to be a fascinating week. Thank you for getting to
- 24:41Speaker 1: started today. Thank you for having me. Kevin, looking forward
- 24:44Speaker 1: to the rest of the week. You got it, Kevin mccallach,
- 24:47Speaker 1: coming right back.
- 24:47Speaker 3: Don't go awad, stick around for more of that, Kevin, next.

- 27:09Speaker 17: That's a worldview being handed to them without our permission.
- 27:12Speaker 17: But the new documentary The Story of Everything explains a
- 27:15Speaker 17: far deeper truth, one written in the stars and in
- 27:18Speaker 17: the very code of our DNA. Call it intelligent design,
- 27:21Speaker 17: something that cultural gatekeepers on the left don't want to
- 27:24Speaker 17: talk about, that we were created with a purpose by
- 27:27Speaker 17: a creator. The Story of Everything does what no major
- 27:30Speaker 17: studio would ever do. It equips viewers to go with
- 27:32Speaker 17: the scientific evidence to defend your faith, challenge the overarching
- 27:36Speaker 17: narrative that everything is random. It's in theaters right now,

- 28:08Speaker 4: Here he is from New York. That Kevin Kevin McCullough.

- 28:22Speaker 1: radio stations across the country. Thank you for being with
- 28:26Speaker 1: us and for having us there. Jill Holman is part
- 28:29Speaker 1: of the America First Policy Institute, one of the really
- 28:32Speaker 1: premier think tanks that we like to interact with on
- 28:35Speaker 1: a regular basis, and Jill on mondays to start almost
- 28:40Speaker 1: every week. I always talk about money. But now that
- 28:42Speaker 1: we're into the end of the you know, the first
- 28:44Speaker 1: quarter has wrapped up and we're starting to look at
- 28:46Speaker 1: what happened. A lot of expectation went into quarter one
- 28:50Speaker 1: concerning the big beautiful bill working families tax cuts. There's
- 28:54Speaker 1: a lot of things that are in there, and then
- 28:55Speaker 1: a war started. So I'm guessing that the deck is
- 28:58Speaker 1: somewhat shuffled. But what's your read on where we are?
- 29:02Speaker 18: Thank you so much for having me. I really appreciate
- 29:05Speaker 18: your program. I think you know the worst starting. But
- 29:09Speaker 18: what your viewers may even forget about is we also
- 29:12Speaker 18: had the government shutdown, and over the last year, the
- 29:17Speaker 18: US economy grew by two point seven percent. And it's
- 29:20Speaker 18: remarkable at that when you consider that the Left had
- 29:25Speaker 18: shut down the government for such a long period of
- 29:29Speaker 18: time and would have grown by well over three percent.
- 29:32Speaker 18: But with the latest GDP report showing the economy growing
- 29:37Speaker 18: at about two percent, we need to really unpack that
- 29:40Speaker 18: to see that there's actually an uptick in business investment
- 29:45Speaker 18: in an order of about two point five percent. And
- 29:50Speaker 18: when you add in the working family tax cut that
- 29:53Speaker 18: actually just went into effect, you saw that there was
- 29:57Speaker 18: an increase in investment in really I would say, the
- 30:01Speaker 18: easy ones to invest in, and so call it technology, software, equipment.
- 30:08Speaker 19: And what we're going to expect.
- 30:11Speaker 18: Is that in Q two, in Q three, we're going
- 30:15Speaker 18: to see an even more significant increase in investment, and
- 30:20Speaker 18: that is because of the upfront the immediate expensing that
- 30:24Speaker 18: the businesses can take. So you really see the impact
- 30:28Speaker 18: of the working family tax cuts starting to take effect,
- 30:32Speaker 18: and in fact, over fifty million families have benefited from
- 30:37Speaker 18: one of the main provisions of the working family tax cut,
- 30:40Speaker 18: an order of magnitude of about three four hundred dollars
- 30:44Speaker 18: in average refronts to individuals. And so just on the
- 30:49Speaker 18: business side, with the immediate expensing, we're going to see
- 30:53Speaker 18: more businesses taking advantage of this and even more investment
- 30:59Speaker 18: happening that we see will impact the GDP numbers going forward.
- 31:05Speaker 18: And so our chairman of FPI, Larry Kudlow, had said
- 31:11Speaker 18: last week, never bet against the Trump and American first economy,
- 31:16Speaker 18: and I, you know, I have to go with where
- 31:19Speaker 18: our chair states, and so I would be on the
- 31:22Speaker 18: side of him and point you to the markets. And
- 31:26Speaker 18: so you have the Nasak and dal Jones are both up.
- 31:32Speaker 18: Not only you know since when Trump came into office significantly.
- 31:36Speaker 19: If you count twenty twenty five, I believe the.
- 31:40Speaker 18: Nasik was up by or s and P was up
- 31:43Speaker 18: by seventeen percent. They finished yeor high and it's gone
- 31:46Speaker 18: even higher. And what the markets are really looking at
- 31:50Speaker 18: is is growth.
- 31:52Speaker 19: And so when you.
- 31:54Speaker 18: Factor in then the productivity, and right now productivity is
- 31:59Speaker 18: outpaid pacing wages, so meaning companies are more profitable and
- 32:04Speaker 18: the market is expecting them to grow. And so the
- 32:08Speaker 18: market's really looking through this transitory, short term oil shock
- 32:14Speaker 18: or oil increase in prices that's happening right now, and
- 32:19Speaker 18: that's how we're looking at it as well. So we
- 32:23Speaker 18: think that this is in terms of energy prices in oil,
- 32:26Speaker 18: something short term in nature you can look through.
- 32:29Speaker 19: That's what the markets are really doing now.
- 32:31Speaker 18: And the productivity numbers have been good and we're hoping
- 32:37Speaker 18: that they'll continue to grow and the policies have been
- 32:39Speaker 18: put in place to do that.
- 32:41Speaker 1: I would even argue that profits being what they are,
- 32:45Speaker 1: even though wages are not keeping pace yet, that that
- 32:49Speaker 1: is a very good sign that wages in the not
- 32:51Speaker 1: too distant future will be picking up steam.
- 32:55Speaker 18: I think you're right, and I would just even go
- 32:58Speaker 18: a step further to say, when we look at the
- 33:02Speaker 18: business investment that's taking place, not only with the immediate
- 33:06Speaker 18: expensing and leading to a need for or desire and
- 33:12Speaker 18: an ability for companies to expand and to invest in
- 33:16Speaker 18: a very tax efficient way. When you look at overseas
- 33:20Speaker 18: and what the Trump administration is doing and its deal
- 33:24Speaker 18: negotiation and in each of these deals, he's expanding access
- 33:28Speaker 18: by reducing non tariff barriers to make it easier for
- 33:31Speaker 18: US producers to sell more abroad.
- 33:34Speaker 19: But what he's also doing is including.
- 33:36Speaker 18: Provisions that require our foreign training partners to invest in
- 33:42Speaker 18: the United States. And with each of those components, it
- 33:46Speaker 18: involves an increase in need for investment and need for workers.
- 33:52Speaker 19: And so what I've been speaking about for months now is.
- 33:56Speaker 18: The need to change the conversation to how can we
- 34:01Speaker 18: train and how can we continue to upscale our great
- 34:06Speaker 18: American workers for the jobs that are going to be
- 34:10Speaker 18: happening and are relocating into the United States. And I
- 34:14Speaker 18: think that's a fantastic conversation that we should be having,
- 34:19Speaker 18: and we are preparing for and producing great policy research
- 34:23Speaker 18: at AFPI about meeting and training for the careers that
- 34:27Speaker 18: are taking place with the expansion of business investment in
- 34:32Speaker 18: the United States.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I think you're right, And no other president's done
- 34:36Speaker 1: it the way President Trump has in both terms, bringing
- 34:40Speaker 1: production back on shore and bringing jobs home. It's what
- 34:43Speaker 1: he's been about. Jill Holman of the America First Policy Institute,
- 34:46Speaker 1: Thanks for all that you're doing.
- 34:47Speaker 19: Thank you so much for having me.
- 34:49Speaker 20: Great see you.
- 34:49Speaker 4: You got it.

- 36:03Speaker 23: the big questions. Sadly, we're being told we're here by chance,
- 36:06Speaker 23: a happy accident with no real purpose. So I'm telling
- 36:09Speaker 23: everyone I can about the new powerful documentary, The Story
- 36:13Speaker 23: of Everything. It impressed me so much. A dynamic documentary

- 36:20Speaker 23: in DNA and ask the questions mainstream media totally avoids.
- 36:24Speaker 23: So let's equip each other and our kids with the
- 36:27Speaker 23: truth about the universe and its creator. It's an absolute

- 36:59Speaker 11: friend they'd love for years. It's heartbreaking. What makes it
- 37:01Speaker 11: harder is knowing how quickly time goes by. One day

- 37:06Speaker 11: sleeping more. You start wondering, is there anything I can do?

- 39:08Speaker 4: Here he is from New York. That's Ken Kevin McCullough.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Welcome back. It is that Kevin Show. And on Monday
- 39:20Speaker 1: we talk about money, and that means David Fisher's stopping
- 39:22Speaker 1: by to talk to us about what's in the headlines
- 39:25Speaker 1: and David. As I said in my monologue today, I'm
- 39:28Speaker 1: celebrating moms all week. They're so important. They've impacted us,
- 39:32Speaker 1: they made us who we are. Literally. What's one thing
- 39:36Speaker 1: that as you celebrate Mother's Day this coming Sunday, you're
- 39:38Speaker 1: going to remember your mom for well.
- 39:40Speaker 7: Love comes in many forms, you know. Some people say
- 39:43Speaker 7: it's gift giving, hugs and kisses. It's all that, but more.
- 39:47Speaker 7: My mom was faithful, She was always available, and she
- 39:50Speaker 7: taught me a lot of things, along with my dad obviously,
- 39:52Speaker 7: but she's always there in so many different ways, and
- 39:56Speaker 7: I remember her for that. She's still with me and
- 39:58Speaker 7: I call her every week lover to death.
- 40:01Speaker 1: That's great, that's so good. All right, let's move on
- 40:04Speaker 1: to the day job. You've got quarter one in the books,
- 40:08Speaker 1: and we need to know what's going on here? Is
- 40:11Speaker 1: are we moving into an inflationary environment, maybe stagflation? What
- 40:17Speaker 1: do you anticipate, Kevin Warsh is going to bring to
- 40:20Speaker 1: the table. What's your outlook here?
- 40:22Speaker 7: Well, I think we're definitely moving. We're in inflation and
- 40:25Speaker 7: we're moving towards stagflation. You know, there's a ninety four
- 40:29Speaker 7: percent chance of no rate cuts this year and there's
- 40:34Speaker 7: a sixty percent of no rate cut between now in
- 40:36Speaker 7: July of next year because the Fed said inflation is elevated.
- 40:40Speaker 7: This is what has to do with oil. But there
- 40:43Speaker 7: was a FED survey eighty one percent believe that inflation
- 40:48Speaker 7: is now a difficult thing and it will cause challenges
- 40:52Speaker 7: in cutting rates. And the Fed says they're going to
- 40:56Speaker 7: put this on hold. SMP forecast now is to be stagnant,
- 41:00Speaker 7: is what they're saying in this report from CNBC for
- 41:04Speaker 7: the remainder of this year. And you know, we talked
- 41:07Speaker 7: last week about jobs twenty thousand jobs being cut between
- 41:10Speaker 7: Meta and Microsoft, a whole litany list of jobs being lost,
- 41:14Speaker 7: ninety two thousand tech jobs lost so far this year.
- 41:18Speaker 7: You know, we've had food prices that have been escalated.
- 41:20Speaker 7: Coffee has doubled since twenty nineteen, and for the first
- 41:24Speaker 7: time ever, ground beef is higher than federal minimum wage.
- 41:29Speaker 7: You know, and wheat futures hit a two year high.
- 41:31Speaker 7: I can go on and on, but here's some topics
- 41:33Speaker 7: in the news. Higher inflation is.
- 41:35Speaker 1: On the way.
- 41:36Speaker 7: The Fed needs to make this clear before it raises rates.
- 41:39Speaker 7: Here's another one billionaire investor, Ray Dalio drops one bold
- 41:44Speaker 7: word economic warning stagflation and asks the FED to not
- 41:49Speaker 7: cut interest rates because we're moving into a stakflation era.
- 41:53Speaker 7: You know, the rest of the world is not raising rates.
- 41:56Speaker 7: The European Central Bank they kept rates on hold, so
- 41:59Speaker 7: did Canon, or did the Bank of Japan, And they're
- 42:02Speaker 7: all warning this inflationary environment. And two of the three
- 42:06Speaker 7: banks I just listed are saying we're moving towards stay inflation.
- 42:09Speaker 7: So that seems to be the word. What is that
- 42:13Speaker 7: not good? Think of the seventies, high oil prices, wages
- 42:18Speaker 7: not keeping up with the costs of living. The stock
- 42:21Speaker 7: market dropped in half, they call it the Lost decade.
- 42:25Speaker 7: Took ten years to recover, and gold went on a rampage.
- 42:28Speaker 7: So did silver. Gold win up five five years and
- 42:31Speaker 7: silver did twice as much. I hope we don't have
- 42:34Speaker 7: those kind of types of environment. It'd be great for
- 42:36Speaker 7: those that own gold and silver, but the other side
- 42:39Speaker 7: of the equation is not good for our economy.
- 42:42Speaker 1: All right. The UAE just pulled out of OPEK, and
- 42:46Speaker 1: some people are speculating that the future of OPEK is
- 42:49Speaker 1: not good. What does all of that mean to gold
- 42:52Speaker 1: and silver?
- 42:53Speaker 7: Yeah, they've been a part of OPEK, for sixty years
- 42:56Speaker 7: and they're pulling out May first. This is a big
- 43:00Speaker 7: blow to OPEK. The UAE is one of the biggest
- 43:04Speaker 7: producers of OPEC. They produced fifteen percent of OPEX export,
- 43:09Speaker 7: which is the largest exporter. You know, since nineteen seventy four,
- 43:13Speaker 7: the United States struck an agreement with OPEC that they
- 43:16Speaker 7: would sell oil and only dollars and we would protect them. Well,
- 43:20Speaker 7: just today there's three drone strikes that we're in the UAE,
- 43:24Speaker 7: and so they're finding that they're not being protected, and
- 43:27Speaker 7: that's not why the decision was made. They want to
- 43:31Speaker 7: be independent and they're going to be able to produce
- 43:33Speaker 7: about five million barrels a day of oil and they're
- 43:37Speaker 7: currently producing three million. So it's an incentive for them
- 43:40Speaker 7: to cut their ties with OPEK. But what does this
- 43:44Speaker 7: mean for the dollar, Well, just means that they want
- 43:47Speaker 7: to be independent. Meanwhile, even Saudi Arabia has been flirting
- 43:51Speaker 7: with China for years, considering oil sales in the long
- 43:55Speaker 7: rather than dollars. So we're talking about this is not
- 43:59Speaker 7: something that's we've been talking on your program before, and
- 44:01Speaker 7: we have a white paper on it. But the dollar
- 44:04Speaker 7: expansion debasement is actually the tailwind for gold in years
- 44:10Speaker 7: to come. So towards this end, the goal market and
- 44:13Speaker 7: gold has just begun, and slowly gold is going to
- 44:17Speaker 7: be the only store value better than a detrusted, debased
- 44:21Speaker 7: US dollar. Not against our country, just we can't have
- 44:24Speaker 7: a financial house and order. But after all, oil selled
- 44:28Speaker 7: in gold or another currency is much better than oil
- 44:32Speaker 7: being settled in the dollar that's shrinking in its usage
- 44:36Speaker 7: and its sustainability. So, in short, what we saw with
- 44:39Speaker 7: the UAE in this famous exiting opek, it's a further
- 44:44Speaker 7: confirmation that the dollar usage is becoming shrinking and other
- 44:49Speaker 7: currencies and gold is coming to the forefront.
- 44:52Speaker 1: All right, David, last week and for a couple of
- 44:55Speaker 1: weeks now you've offered, but for only a limited time,
- 44:58Speaker 1: a very special offer. It really is designed to help
- 45:01Speaker 1: my listeners make some very smart financial moves in terms
- 45:05Speaker 1: of their four one K. Explain what the offer is
- 45:08Speaker 1: and how people can access it.
- 45:10Speaker 7: Well, there's this big rally and gold getting ready to happen,
- 45:13Speaker 7: so don't miss out on it. You know, people I
- 45:15Speaker 7: think who are hearing my voice, some have called that
- 45:18Speaker 7: I think there's a lot of sitting on the fence.
- 45:19Speaker 7: So let me make this simple. For a limited time
- 45:22Speaker 7: offer for qualified accounts, if you move a portion of
- 45:25Speaker 7: your IRA or four one k into physical gold and
- 45:28Speaker 7: silver with landmark capital at that time of the trade,
- 45:31Speaker 7: I'm going to apply a discount to your trade. So
- 45:34Speaker 7: this is an added value along with the benefit of
- 45:37Speaker 7: owning gold and silver, so that you can take advantage
- 45:40Speaker 7: of markets moving in your favor and actually out performing
- 45:44Speaker 7: this talk indexes. You don't need to figure this thing out.
- 45:47Speaker 7: Just call this mention Kevin Show. We'll tell you exactly
- 45:50Speaker 7: what you qualify for. There's no gimmicks, no benefits, no
- 45:54Speaker 7: only benefits, no pressure or anything like that. Everyone that
- 45:58Speaker 7: here's my voice will benefit. If you have ten thousand
- 46:01Speaker 7: dollars or more in your retirement, just call and we'll
- 46:03Speaker 7: tell you all about it, and you can learn about it.
- 46:05Speaker 7: And do you want to get started with information pack it?
- 46:07Speaker 7: We can do that too, all right.
- 46:09Speaker 1: Eight four four six oh four two five seven five
- 46:11Speaker 1: mentioned that Kevin Show. When you call eight five five
- 46:14Speaker 1: six oh four two five seven five, it's all about
- 46:17Speaker 1: helping you be smart, to protect what you've worked for,
- 46:20Speaker 1: to protect what you've earned and saved, and you're trying
- 46:23Speaker 1: to leave for a legacy. Let David and his team
- 46:25Speaker 1: help you. Eight four four six oh four two five
- 46:27Speaker 1: seven five eight four four six oh four two five
- 46:30Speaker 1: seven five. Actually, let me correct that. David will wait
- 46:33Speaker 1: on you personally. He will. He will call you back
- 46:35Speaker 1: himself because of how special this offer is. Eight four
- 46:38Speaker 1: four six oh four two five seven five called in
- 46:40Speaker 1: Mark Capital, David, as always, we appreciate it. Thank you
- 46:43Speaker 1: for being with us.
- 46:44Speaker 6: Thank you, Kevin.
- 46:45Speaker 1: Kevin McCullough coming right back from time squet stick around
- 46:49Speaker 1: for more of that, Kevin. Next, Hi, Kevin McCullough, let
- 46:58Speaker 1: me ask you a question about your retire Did your
- 47:00Speaker 1: four oh one k or ira go up sixty percent
- 47:03Speaker 1: last year? Gold did, silver did even better. Many Americans
- 47:06Speaker 1: are discovering that physical gold and silver can help diversify
- 47:09Speaker 1: and protect savings during uncertain economic times. That's why I

- 48:06Speaker 15: to pull thousands of US troops from Germany is even
- 48:09Speaker 15: more of a reason for Europe to fin for itself
- 48:11Speaker 15: when it comes to defense.
- 48:13Speaker 25: That because I think we are expecting that Europe is
- 48:16Speaker 25: taking more charge of its own security. I don't see
- 48:19Speaker 25: those figures as dramatic, but I think they should be
- 48:21Speaker 25: handled in a, you know, a harmonious way inside the
- 48:25Speaker 25: framework of NATO. And if we do it that way,
- 48:28Speaker 25: I think, you know, it will highlight that Europe is

- 55:06Speaker 6: Of course, that Kevin Show is going to be great.
- 55:08Speaker 14: The only thing that could be greater, of course, would
- 55:10Speaker 14: be that Donald Show, but we don't have that.
- 55:11Speaker 20: So we have that Kevin.
- 55:12Speaker 2: Shows featuring the music of Dick Tunney and the Dream

- 55:44Speaker 2: It's Kevin McCollough Monday through Friday on That Kevin Show
- 55:55Speaker 2: and now from the Connors in Sullivan Broadcast Studios.
- 55:59Speaker 1: The man who is what he.
- 56:00Speaker 2: Wants to be, but is way grateful that is not
- 56:04Speaker 2: who he used to be.
- 56:06Speaker 1: Here, all right, welcome to hour number two. Welcome to
- 56:13Speaker 1: the next hour of That Kevin Show, that kevinshow dot Com.
- 56:17Speaker 1: For all the information. It's amazing to have you with us.
- 56:21Speaker 1: Thank you for being here, Thank you for kicking off
- 56:24Speaker 1: your week in a very smart way. We've got the
- 56:27Speaker 1: most talented money lined up lineup today. Jill Holman from AFPI,
- 56:32Speaker 1: David Fisher from Landmark Capital, Lou Basinie is going to
- 56:35Speaker 1: join us shortly a little bit later, Hillary Kramer, but
- 56:38Speaker 1: what a power force him to talk about the economy
- 56:42Speaker 1: and the end of quarter one and just what all
- 56:44Speaker 1: it means. And we're just so grateful that you could
- 56:47Speaker 1: spend some time with us. But breaking news, I've got
- 56:50Speaker 1: some breaking news. I don't have a breaking news sounder.
- 56:52Speaker 1: Where's my breaking news sounder? We don't we don't have one.
- 56:55Speaker 1: I guess I could, I could clink my I could
- 56:57Speaker 1: clink my mug. Well, that doesn't sound very good either. Anyway,
- 57:01Speaker 1: breaking news. Here's the big headline. Moms matter, and we're
- 57:07Speaker 1: going to spend the better part of this week talking
- 57:10Speaker 1: about something that our culture treats like a footnote and
- 57:13Speaker 1: then wonders why everything else feels a little bit off.
- 57:16Speaker 1: We're going to talk about mothers. Not the once a
- 57:20Speaker 1: year version with flowers and brunch and a quick post
- 57:22Speaker 1: before we move on. Not the soft focus, Hallmark version
- 57:26Speaker 1: that feels nice but doesn't ask much of us. I'm
- 57:29Speaker 1: talking about the real deal. I'm talking about Mama's the
- 57:35Speaker 1: woman who is there when no one else is watching,
- 57:38Speaker 1: the one who builds a life in the quiet places
- 57:41Speaker 1: before anyone else ever sees the result. I'm talking about
- 57:45Speaker 1: the foundation of your life, the irreplaceable person in your life, civilization,
- 57:50Speaker 1: sustaining people in our lives. And if that sounds a
- 57:55Speaker 1: touch dramatic, it's only because we've spent a long time
- 57:58Speaker 1: pretending that it's not true. So this week I've got
- 58:02Speaker 1: six shows, six monologues. We will start here with the
- 58:07Speaker 1: big picture, and then we'll get we'll kind of hone
- 58:10Speaker 1: in on the focus each day, the earliest years of
- 58:13Speaker 1: child's life, spiritual design behind being a mother, the consequences
- 58:18Speaker 1: of what happens when a mother is missing, the unseen
- 58:20Speaker 1: work that rarely gets applause, and finally, on Mother's Day itself,
- 58:24Speaker 1: we're going to unload the legacy that outlives everything else
- 58:27Speaker 1: that we chase. So before any of that, we need
- 58:31Speaker 1: to deal with some reality. Because reality isn't subtle on
- 58:35Speaker 1: this subject. Here's what some of the data says. Children
- 58:39Speaker 1: who grow up with an engaged, present mother are far
- 58:45Speaker 1: more likely to thrive, listen to all these ways emotionally, academically, socially.
- 58:52Speaker 1: That's what decades of research have shown. Early maternal involvement
- 58:57Speaker 1: is tied to stronger language development, healthier emotional regulation, and
- 59:01Speaker 1: better long term outcomes in school and life. And those
- 59:04Speaker 1: first few years they matter more than most of us
- 59:08Speaker 1: even think about, because that's when the brain is being wired.
- 59:12Speaker 1: How a child learns to trust, to respond, to feel
- 59:15Speaker 1: safe in the world, and the person shaping that environment
- 59:19Speaker 1: day in and day out almost always is mom. Her voice,
- 59:24Speaker 1: her presence, the way she responds when a child cries
- 59:28Speaker 1: or laughs or doesn't understand something. Those things don't just
- 59:33Speaker 1: comfort a child, they form them. They set the tone
- 59:37Speaker 1: for how that child will move through the world long
- 59:40Speaker 1: after the toys are put away and the house gets quiet.
- 59:44Speaker 1: I know that not from studies, but from my own life.
- 59:49Speaker 1: My mom, Sharon Elizabeth McCullough, was all I knew in
- 59:53Speaker 1: my earliest years. My father had left, my paternal father
- 59:57Speaker 1: had left us. She wouldn't meet the man who would
- 59:59Speaker 1: later adopt me and claimed me as his son until
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: I was almost in first grade. Until then, it was
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: just herned me, and she was there every day, every
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: day throughout my life when I came home from school,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: every moment that mattered in ways I didn't even have
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: words for at the time. When the school system failed
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: both of us, and it did, she didn't shrug and
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: hope for the best. She stepped in. She made a
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: decision that back then wasn't common at all in Texas
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: where I grew up. She homeschooled me. That was, you know,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: going into my first couple of years of or end
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: of junior high and into high school. No fanfare, no applause,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: just the quiet daily work of making sure her son
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: didn't fall through the cracks. She made me listen to
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Chuck Swindall on the radio. I learned a lot about scripture.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: She made me get all my homework done every day
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: before I did anything else. I grew in academic ways
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: I had not before. I didn't understand what she was
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: doing then, and kids seldom do. That's why kids can't
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: be in charge of anything. Kids can't even be in
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: charge of themselves. But I understand it now because I
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: lost her when I was seventeen, and when I walked
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: back into a traditional school environment after that, something had
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: shifted greatly in me. I wasn't trying to keep up anymore.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: I was leading. That didn't come for me. That came
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: from her, from years of consistency, from presence, from someone
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: deciding that my future was worth her effort, even when
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: it cost her something. She was battling cancer at the
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: end for about two and a half years, fighting a
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: war she knew she might not win. But here's the
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: part that stays with me. She had already won something
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: that mattered more. There hasn't been a single day in
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: my fifty six years that I haven't thought about her,
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: not one. I think about what she taught me, about
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: how she was always present, how she showed up. Mom
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: was my superpower. And I don't say that lightly because
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: the truth is what mothers do is often invisible until
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: it isn't there, and that's when the data becomes really clear.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Listen to this. Children without stable maternal care are more
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: likely to struggle emotionally, developmentally, and relationally. They show up
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: in systems we all talk about but rarely connect back
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: to the root, foster care, behavioral problems, long term instability.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: This isn't about condemning anyone navigating difficult circumstances. Life is
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: complicated and not every story is clean, but the pattern
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: is still the pattern. Mothers matter in ways that can't
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: be that can't be casually or easily replaced. And yet
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: we live in a moment and in a time where
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: that truth is treated like it's optional, where the message,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: sometimes subtle, sometimes loud, says motherhood is secondary, interchangeable, something
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: that can be redefined without consequence. And when a culture
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: forgets that, when it starts to treat mothers as optional
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: or interchangeable, it does just lose a value. It loses stability.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Because you can build all the systems you want, you
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: can have all the policies and programs and institutions and
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: resources and everything. But if the foundation underneath them, which
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: your family is anchored by present engaged moms, starts to crack,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: everything built on top of it eventually will fall too.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: So yeah, I'm going to make this week about moms,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: but it's also about remembering something we should have never forgotten,
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: that the strength of a nation doesn't start in Washington
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: or Wall Street. It starts in the home, with women
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: who choose every single day to show up, to teach,
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: to correct, to love, to endure, to build something in
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: their children that will outlast them. We're going to talk
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: about it all week, the science, the faith, the hard truths,
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: the quiet sacrifices, the legacy that keeps going long after
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: the mother is gone. But now, now, just this, just
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: just listen to this. If you've ever had a mother
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: who showed up for you, really showed up, you've already
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: experienced one of the most powerful forces in all of creation.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: And if we can't recognize that, then we're not nearly
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: as advanced as we think we are. I would love
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: to hear what kind of impact your mom's had on you.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: Please send me an email that Kevin show at gmail
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: dot com, that Kevin Show at gmail dot com, and
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: who knows, maybe we'll read yours on there. Coming up
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: more money Monday.

- 1:07:19Speaker 27: We don't accept what the enemy wants to do with

- 1:08:44Speaker 1: Pure Talk.
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: Here he is from New York. Kevin, Kevin mccullor, all.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: Right, welcome back. It's Monday, money Monday, and that means
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: we're going to run through everything and whether it's metals
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: or stock picks or just the general economy. Always glad
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: to help you focus a little bit better, become a
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: little bit better steward of what you have worked hard
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: for and help you leave it as a legacy for
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: your kids. Do more good stuff for the kingdom and
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: help your fellow man. I mean that's the I really
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: detest this idea in the culture that are in the
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: in the church rather that says, you know, Christians should
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: not try to pursue earning well in their career. I
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: think earning well is how we get the kingdom work
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: done in many ways. So this is why I do
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: this segment unapologetically every week, even on Mom's Week, Mother's
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: Day Week. We will talk a little bit more about
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: that as we go along too. Lou Basinese is back
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: with us after a little bit of a sabbatical. He
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: had some things to go tend to, like having a
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: new baby and I don't know, running in a marathon
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: and doing a number of things. But you know, I'm
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: from the Fox Business Network and he's now back with
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: us on Mondays.
- 1:10:16Speaker 6: Hey, Lou, good to be here. My friend.
- 1:10:18Speaker 29: Ed to be clear, I didn't have the baby. My
- 1:10:20Speaker 29: wife had the baby.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: That's yeah, yeah, but you lived with her while she did,
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: so there was some credit that you got in that.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: I'm not going to take that away from you.
- 1:10:29Speaker 6: Hey, in honor of mothers. We've got to give mothers
- 1:10:32Speaker 6: all the credit.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: That's Well's and there's no doubt that they do the
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: most amazing thing in breathing life that God gives in
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: that divine miracle bringing that life into this world, and
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: we are so thankful for them. We'll talk more about
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: that in a second. I want to get to the
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: big stuff. The rumor mill over the weekend is that
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: Trump's gonna reconsider engaging in Iran. He very timely on
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: Friday said the war is terminated, notifying Congress ending the
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: previous sixty days. But now that pretty much gives him
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: another sixty days to start whenever he needs to. The
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: blockade has worked fairly well, I think, But what is this?
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: I mean, we're still seeing I paid four dollars and
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: fifty five cents for gas this morning, lou that's the
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: thing he ran against. How does this get fixed?
- 1:11:27Speaker 29: Yeah, so it gets fixed by getting the job done,
- 1:11:30Speaker 29: which is taking longer as it always does. When we
- 1:11:32Speaker 29: talk about matters of war. And you know, I think
- 1:11:34Speaker 29: you put your finger on the thing that matters most.
- 1:11:36Speaker 29: It's the midterm math. If oil I mean, if gas
- 1:11:39Speaker 29: prices are well above four dollars, a gallon. I think
- 1:11:42Speaker 29: the Republicans and the administration have a hard time going
- 1:11:45Speaker 29: into midterms.
- 1:11:46Speaker 6: For the markets, though.
- 1:11:48Speaker 29: You got to talk about two different worlds, right, The
- 1:11:49Speaker 29: markets are not the economy. The markets are looking forward
- 1:11:53Speaker 29: and just looking past this, assuming that the war and
- 1:11:56Speaker 29: Iran is going to end. How are conflict however, we
- 1:11:59Speaker 29: want to, you know, label it will end, you know,
- 1:12:02Speaker 29: in the next coming weeks or so, and that oil
- 1:12:05Speaker 29: will drop down in price and we'll get back to
- 1:12:07Speaker 29: some more normal conditions by the end of the year.
- 1:12:10Speaker 6: So I think that's important.
- 1:12:11Speaker 29: You know, corporate America is seeing through it, but you
- 1:12:14Speaker 29: know that that's not very comforting for every day I.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: Kind of think he has a runway of between now
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: and either Memorial Day or July fourth. I think July
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: fourth is starting to really cut it close. But I
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: think if he can get things wrapped up by Memorial Day,
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: I think you've got a good what five months there
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: before the elections. And I think that I think that
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: the relief to the pump comes quicker than we realize.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: I think it does be. I think people just sense
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: that the war's over. There's going to be immediate hope.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: But then I think that you're actually going to see
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: the process, you know, slowly kick in. And I think
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: that demand is going to do what it does, but
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: I think supply is going to also do what it does,
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: and I think he can. I think he's got till
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: about Labor Memorial Day. That's kind of my guideline.
- 1:13:02Speaker 6: Listen, for not being an oil and gas guy. You
- 1:13:04Speaker 6: nailed it pretty well.
- 1:13:06Speaker 29: The rule itself is traditionally, for every ten dollars move
- 1:13:08Speaker 29: in oil, whether it's up or down, it's about a
- 1:13:11Speaker 29: twenty five or thirty cents move in gasoline. And it
- 1:13:14Speaker 29: takes you know, call it six to eight weeks for
- 1:13:17Speaker 29: that change to happen. So you're right if by the
- 1:13:19Speaker 29: end of Memorial Day, maybe if we push it into
- 1:13:22Speaker 29: July fourth, you'll start seeing If you look at the
- 1:13:24Speaker 29: futures prices, like what predictions are for oil prices further out,
- 1:13:27Speaker 29: they come down pretty precipitously, so you'd get back at least,
- 1:13:31Speaker 29: at the very least, we'd be in, as you said it,
- 1:13:33Speaker 29: a decline the trajectory going down in gas prices, which
- 1:13:36Speaker 29: I think will work in the administration's favor.
- 1:13:39Speaker 6: We just can't be you know, the you know when
- 1:13:41Speaker 6: the Ukraine War.
- 1:13:42Speaker 29: Broke out with Russro. They said it was going to
- 1:13:44Speaker 29: be a couple of weeks, and here we are three
- 1:13:45Speaker 29: plus years later. So we can't have another one of those,
- 1:13:48Speaker 29: I think. But to your point, I think the blockade's working.
- 1:13:53Speaker 29: The US has the leverage. I don't know that everyone
- 1:13:55Speaker 29: understands this why because it's not you know, it's not
- 1:13:57Speaker 29: something that gets talked about around the kitchen table.
- 1:13:59Speaker 6: But Iran can only pump oil and.
- 1:14:02Speaker 29: Store it for so long before it starts getting very
- 1:14:04Speaker 29: just disastrous for them.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: So and he literally MUCKs it up.
- 1:14:08Speaker 29: Yes, yes, so to anywhere from sixteen to sixty days
- 1:14:11Speaker 29: on the outside.
- 1:14:12Speaker 6: So we're getting close to that.
- 1:14:14Speaker 29: So Iran has to do something to reopen the straits
- 1:14:17Speaker 29: or our moves otherwise they absolutely have no way to
- 1:14:19Speaker 29: generate revenue and actually run the country.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, the president full announcement saying that the Strait
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: is going to be opened. He's got a new strategy
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: for that. Interesting thing for Americans is that we don't
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: need the oil that goes through the strait, like we
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: don't get our stuff from there. This is entirely Trump
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: trying to be a good neighbor to Europe and to
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: Asia and you know, to the other Middle Eastern countries.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: But this is not a play that is purely American
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: in its focus. Of course, he won't get any credit
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: for that, but I love the fact that the guy
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: thinks big picture and looks at you know, the entire
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: chess board, not just one move ahead when he's doing this.
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: Let me shift gears a little bit. AI and technology is,
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: you know, obviously the new hot thing. Every app in
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: my phone now has its own AI assistant. That is
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: crazy to me. My phone gets heated up when I
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: use one a couple of times, you know, but what
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: is that? What does that mean? Especially when you're looking
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: now at what happened in quarter one for the next
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: few weeks.
- 1:15:25Speaker 29: Yeah, for me this quarter, you know, everyday Americans probably don't.
- 1:15:28Speaker 6: Pay attention to the quarter of the reports as much.
- 1:15:30Speaker 6: I just nerd out on it.
- 1:15:31Speaker 29: But it was really instructive because you're seeing now the
- 1:15:34Speaker 29: biggest companies that are leading the AI race, the Amazons,
- 1:15:38Speaker 29: the alphabet or Googles of the world, Microsoft reaffirming that
- 1:15:42Speaker 29: this is just going to get bigger and bigger from here.
- 1:15:44Speaker 29: In fact, you had Amazon come out and increase their
- 1:15:47Speaker 29: capital spending to over one hundred billion dollars more in
- 1:15:50Speaker 29: saying like we can do this because we have two
- 1:15:52Speaker 29: times that in demand for the business. So I think
- 1:15:55Speaker 29: the misconception or the fear has been that we're on
- 1:15:58Speaker 29: the brink of another dot com bubble, and the reality
- 1:16:03Speaker 29: is we're not anywhere near it, no matter what metric
- 1:16:05Speaker 29: you look at. Back in the dot com days, you
- 1:16:08Speaker 29: had a lot of companies that were just pretending to
- 1:16:10Speaker 29: be online that they had real business there, and that's
- 1:16:13Speaker 29: not the case here. There's genuine business that is pulling this.
- 1:16:15Speaker 29: And I would tell you that, you know, it's in
- 1:16:17Speaker 29: the honor of baseball season and my Yankees doing well
- 1:16:20Speaker 29: and the wonderful Mets not doing so great that you
- 1:16:25Speaker 29: know we're maybe in the second inning of the AI
- 1:16:27Speaker 29: growth trend. So I think for you talking about it,
- 1:16:30Speaker 29: you know every app on your phone is now rolling
- 1:16:33Speaker 29: out AI features. This is just the beginning, and I
- 1:16:35Speaker 29: think people need to think about it this way.
- 1:16:37Speaker 6: AI is not going to be a product.
- 1:16:39Speaker 29: It's just going to be a feature of pretty much
- 1:16:41Speaker 29: everything we do that makes things faster, better, smarter, and
- 1:16:45Speaker 29: more efficient. So this is really early stages. We talk
- 1:16:49Speaker 29: about I love it from the exciting standpoint of you're
- 1:16:52Speaker 29: using AI and a lot of applications to cure diseases
- 1:16:55Speaker 29: and find cures for diseases new drugs.
- 1:16:57Speaker 6: So in areas you know, you and I were talking
- 1:16:59Speaker 6: about cancer.
- 1:16:59Speaker 29: Tre treatments, you get into autoimmune diseases, neurodegenerative disease like Parkinson's.
- 1:17:07Speaker 29: There's going to be a lot of discoveries that happened
- 1:17:09Speaker 29: thanks to AI, and you know, so I'm excited about
- 1:17:11Speaker 29: the future, but we're still.
- 1:17:13Speaker 6: Very early in this new reality.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: Well, just to prove what you were saying there, I
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: remember a long time ago when Watson first was on
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: the scene, and one of the things that they did
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: that IBM did that was kind of controversial was they
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: enrolled Watson in a medical residency in the University of
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: North Carolina Medical System and in about six weeks, he
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: had digested and learned everything that the University of North
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: Carolina Medical System had ever published, looked at the patient
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: record of every patient that they had ever treated, and
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: basically in six weeks had his complete had its complete
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: background ready to begin diagnosis. And they then they tracked
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: diagnoses that Watson would make on cases over the next
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: two years and he ended up being ninety eight percent
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: accurate when the human doctors were in the eighty to
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: eighty eight percent range. And it wasn't that they wanted
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: Watson to now start beingcoming the primary diagnosis tool. They
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: still use human doctors, but he is a wonderful backup
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: tool to bounce that second because he found anomalies in
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: patients that doctors missed that you know, we're just one
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: small little thing that tripped a report that he had
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: memorized and filed and knew all the data from, and
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: it helped them look in new ways. And of course,
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: you know, an AI can't necessarily make a human diagnosis
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: from examining the patients the same way.
- 1:18:47Speaker 29: But AI cannot inject the context and nuanced that humans can.
- 1:18:53Speaker 6: For you know, I talk about in the legal profession.
- 1:18:55Speaker 6: I gave a speech to some.
- 1:18:57Speaker 29: Top lawyers and like that's the difference, right, they can
- 1:19:00Speaker 29: train up a junior lawyer.
- 1:19:03Speaker 6: And as an AI.
- 1:19:03Speaker 29: Agent, but you can't teach them the three or four
- 1:19:06Speaker 29: decades of experience they have and then just the nuances
- 1:19:08Speaker 29: of it. So I think AI is I like to
- 1:19:10Speaker 29: call it, think of it instead of artificial intelligence it's
- 1:19:12Speaker 29: accelerated innovation because it is it is a way to
- 1:19:17Speaker 29: just accelerate the things that we do doing faster, smarter, better.
- 1:19:20Speaker 29: And I'm really glad you brought Watson though, because it's
- 1:19:22Speaker 29: a great example.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: Let's take a quick great and I'll have you pick
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: up on that because we're out of time. Plus I
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: just hatched hat GPT patent. Your accelerated Uh so we'll
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: go away from there, coming back. It's capital stick around.
- 1:19:36Speaker 15: For more of that, Kevin next, Well, that's all right
- 1:19:47Speaker 15: you So, I'm John Scott. In a ruling, the Supreme

- 1:23:35Speaker 1: nails it for you and you can check that out tonight.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: I would encourage you to is it five pm that
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: you go live?
- 1:23:40Speaker 6: Yeah, it's Thursdays at five pm.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: We go live. Oh you used to be on Mondays?
- 1:23:45Speaker 6: We did, and then I had some scheduling conflicts so that.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: You had a baby. I had a marathon all the yeah,
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: sing me the same sad song. Okay, back to you
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: were saying bringing up Watson was important, because.
- 1:23:57Speaker 29: Yeah, because I think it's important because did we ever
- 1:24:00Speaker 29: run out of things for Watson to do? Or did
- 1:24:02Speaker 29: we run out of compute power on Watson to give
- 1:24:05Speaker 29: it things to do? And I think it's the latter,
- 1:24:06Speaker 29: and so I think it's a really important illustration for
- 1:24:10Speaker 29: anyone that's worried about AI being a bubble. I would
- 1:24:13Speaker 29: argue that we will keep as humans, keep coming up
- 1:24:16Speaker 29: with more work that we can give AI. So the
- 1:24:18Speaker 29: more it can handle, the more problems, more complex problems
- 1:24:22Speaker 29: that we keep throwing at it. So unlike the Internet,
- 1:24:25Speaker 29: where if once everyone has broadband Internet access in the world,
- 1:24:29Speaker 29: like there's nothing else you can do, right if you're
- 1:24:30Speaker 29: talking about five G Internet investments, But when.
- 1:24:32Speaker 6: It comes to AI, I won't want to say it's infinite.
- 1:24:36Speaker 29: But if you think if we keep freeing up more compute,
- 1:24:38Speaker 29: we're just going to use it, We're going to find
- 1:24:40Speaker 29: reasons to use it. So that provides a demand for
- 1:24:43Speaker 29: the services that I would say is uncharacteristic of probably
- 1:24:47Speaker 29: any other business in existence, you know, past presiant President
- 1:24:50Speaker 29: and future.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: Yeah, my fear is that there's the robots are still
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: going to kill us all. But that's a different story
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: real quickly, corporate a have been hitting and you've got
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: people talking about how they did. Any big surprises there.
- 1:25:06Speaker 29: No, So for going into this quarter, we had five
- 1:25:08Speaker 29: quarters in a row of double digit earnings and sales growth.
- 1:25:12Speaker 6: This is now the sixth quarter in the row. How
- 1:25:14Speaker 6: do you boil that down? Why does that matter to everyone?
- 1:25:16Speaker 6: I tell you this if you have a job working
- 1:25:18Speaker 6: for a company.
- 1:25:19Speaker 29: The good news is these companies not only had record
- 1:25:22Speaker 29: earnings and sales, but record profit margins. So yes, if
- 1:25:26Speaker 29: we get a little bit of more inflation, prices start
- 1:25:28Speaker 29: to go up, companies are actually in a really good
- 1:25:30Speaker 29: position to increase.
- 1:25:31Speaker 6: Wages to compensate for that.
- 1:25:33Speaker 29: So this is under the current president, this is the
- 1:25:36Speaker 29: first time we've seen real wage growth. When you factor
- 1:25:38Speaker 29: in inflation and salary increases, you're actually coming out a
- 1:25:42Speaker 29: little bit ahead. Now, whether that shows up at the
- 1:25:44Speaker 29: end of every month in your checkbook, I guess.
- 1:25:47Speaker 6: Now I'm just dating myself. No one has a checkbook,
- 1:25:49Speaker 6: but in your bank account, you know it's you hang out.
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: With Arnie too much. You know, he probably still writes
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: them manually.
- 1:25:57Speaker 29: He does, He absolutely does it's too funny. We had
- 1:25:59Speaker 29: that comversation. He's like, no, I just love writing the
- 1:26:01Speaker 29: physical ones. But I think about this. You know, us
- 1:26:04Speaker 29: nerds in the finance world and economists like to focus
- 1:26:06Speaker 29: on different measures of inflation CPI and PPI, Mom and
- 1:26:11Speaker 29: dad and everyone else in the world just goes, do
- 1:26:14Speaker 29: I have more money going out this month than I
- 1:26:16Speaker 29: have coming in? Like that's it. That's what affordability boils
- 1:26:19Speaker 29: down to, is like what's left at the end of
- 1:26:21Speaker 29: the month. So the net net is I think you're
- 1:26:23Speaker 29: going to start seeing in the back half of this
- 1:26:24Speaker 29: year companies continue to increase salaries and Americans, even with
- 1:26:29Speaker 29: some slightly higher gas prices, are going.
- 1:26:31Speaker 6: To be the net beneficiary.
- 1:26:32Speaker 29: So I think it's all positive from there, no warning signs.
- 1:26:36Speaker 29: And I think it's important too because this is one
- 1:26:38Speaker 29: of the times I believe this is accurate. The most
- 1:26:41Speaker 29: Americans ever own stocks in the stock market, right, So
- 1:26:44Speaker 29: we're all now paying attention much more than we were maybe,
- 1:26:47Speaker 29: you know, ten twenty years ago. So it's good news
- 1:26:49Speaker 29: to know that all the companies driving the stock market
- 1:26:51Speaker 29: higher are in very good financial shape.
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: Yeah. In the first hour today I talked with David Fisher,
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: and he's my metals expert, and he's been talking about
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: the fact that you've got bull markets in both paper
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: and medals this year. And I'm curious if you think
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: that that is significant, because normally everything is very cyclical.
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: It's real estate, then it's metals and commodities, then it's paper,
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: and it kind of like when one's up, the other
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: two are usually a little bit not. It seems like
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: a different dynamic right now.
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: Yeah. Look, I think the stars have a line. So
- 1:27:24Speaker 6: we saw some pullback.
- 1:27:25Speaker 29: In the medals for a little bit in the last
- 1:27:27Speaker 29: in recent months, but they've been on a nice rally
- 1:27:29Speaker 29: and I think that was a catch up trade for
- 1:27:31Speaker 29: all the years of the money printing, and not just
- 1:27:33Speaker 29: the US government, but international government's running deficits, right, so
- 1:27:37Speaker 29: you're seeing the medals catch up to that to counteract
- 1:27:42Speaker 29: to the valuation of the dollar and other currencies. I
- 1:27:44Speaker 29: don't think that stops anytime soon. Last time I checked,
- 1:27:46Speaker 29: no one in Washington is talking about a balanced budget
- 1:27:49Speaker 29: or even reducing spending. We're finding a lot of fraud
- 1:27:52Speaker 29: that'll help out if we correct that. But you know,
- 1:27:55Speaker 29: end of the day, I think you're going to see
- 1:27:56Speaker 29: the scenario where, yes, the medals are going to do well,
- 1:27:58Speaker 29: the paper the equities are going to continue to do
- 1:28:01Speaker 29: well just because profits ultimately drive share prices. So I
- 1:28:04Speaker 29: think it's two different dynamics that for this time are
- 1:28:07Speaker 29: actually working in synchronicity, which is a good thing.
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: Yeah, very interesting. All right, last couple of minutes. I'm
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: asking everybody on the show today, what was one thing
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: about your mom that made little lou Besies so grateful
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: that you had her?
- 1:28:21Speaker 29: Well, I'm just grateful not for her cooking, because she
- 1:28:24Speaker 29: can make corn, beef and cabbage amazing, but not much else.
- 1:28:27Speaker 6: But I will tell you this, the one thing is
- 1:28:29Speaker 6: that everything. She made so many sacrifices for my brother
- 1:28:32Speaker 6: and I.
- 1:28:33Speaker 29: She was a single mom, school teacher, didn't have much,
- 1:28:36Speaker 29: but she made a way for us just to live
- 1:28:39Speaker 29: a very ordinary Middle America, you know.
- 1:28:41Speaker 6: Childhood, and I'm thankful for that.
- 1:28:43Speaker 29: There's a lot of hardship. There was times where she
- 1:28:45Speaker 29: could have chosen herself over her sons, and she never did.
- 1:28:48Speaker 29: I mean, I don't think you know, and reminiscing with her,
- 1:28:51Speaker 29: I don't think she even thought about it, right, It's
- 1:28:53Speaker 29: just in her heart who she was is that I'm
- 1:28:55Speaker 29: going to be self less, which is amazing example, especially
- 1:28:59Speaker 29: in the world now I feel is just so selfish.
- 1:29:02Speaker 29: So I'm love you, Mom, thank you for all you've done.
- 1:29:05Speaker 29: It did not go unnoticed. And I'll spend the rest
- 1:29:08Speaker 29: of my life trying to pay her back for it.
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: And I think that's a really I think that's a
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: great strategy. Paying mom back, paying wife back, and paying
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: into daughter's future. I think those are three investments that
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: dads can never be too overly generous with. I agreed
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: of all the joy that those people bring to us
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: the vest and he's always appreciate it. The Big Skinny
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: watch him this Thursday at five pm Eastern, and he's

- 1:32:45Speaker 17: Hey, our parents and grandparents, you hewet here? Isn't it
- 1:32:48Speaker 17: frustrating what our kids are learning about where we come from?
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: Why we're here?
- 1:32:52Speaker 17: All the big question? Sadly, they are often being told
- 1:32:55Speaker 17: were here by chance, by a happy accident, no real
- 1:32:58Speaker 17: purpose to our lives, our being. I'm telling everyone I
- 1:33:00Speaker 17: can about the new documentary The Story of Everything. The
- 1:33:03Speaker 17: Story of Everything impressed me so much, a documentary that
- 1:33:06Speaker 17: explores in beautiful fashion, the mathematics of the fine tuning
- 1:33:09Speaker 17: of the universe, the code embedded in DNA. It asked
- 1:33:12Speaker 17: the questions mainstream media totally avoids. So let's equit each
- 1:33:15Speaker 17: other and our kids with the truth about the universe
- 1:33:18Speaker 17: and its creator. The Story of Everything is an absolute
- 1:33:21Speaker 17: game changer. It's in theaters right now, but only through

- 1:33:55Speaker 4: Here he is from New York exactly, Kevin, Kevin McCullough.
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: All right, welcome back. It's that Kevin Show. And as
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: I've been talking all show today, it's Mother's Day week.
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: It's not Mother's Day. We celebrate the moms all the
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: way through. And Hillary Kramer's back with us. We're going
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: to talk stocks in a second, but Hillary, before we
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: get to that, you're a very good mom. You love
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: your kids. But I know that you had a mom
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: who influenced you. What's one thing about your mom that
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: you know you would be different if she had not
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: done it for you or been that way.
- 1:34:30Speaker 33: My mother always listened to me. She always wanted to
- 1:34:35Speaker 33: hear what I had to say. She'd loved to listen
- 1:34:38Speaker 33: to my stories about school, about my academics, my friends,
- 1:34:43Speaker 33: stories about work once I started working.
- 1:34:45Speaker 20: And let me tell you, God bless my mother. On
- 1:34:48Speaker 20: June fourth, she's turning.
- 1:34:49Speaker 33: Ninety three years old, and she still takes the subway
- 1:34:52Speaker 33: to the Philharmonic in the city and.
- 1:34:54Speaker 20: She is running around.
- 1:34:56Speaker 33: And this morning he sent me your voicemail and she said,
- 1:34:58Speaker 33: don't bother calling back.
- 1:34:59Speaker 20: She has eron to do. And I still talk to.
- 1:35:01Speaker 33: Me later and uh, and she's going to dinner tonight
- 1:35:05Speaker 33: in the West village.
- 1:35:06Speaker 20: We're all having pizza.
- 1:35:08Speaker 6: That is.
- 1:35:10Speaker 20: It really is, it really is. And so it's the listening.
- 1:35:14Speaker 33: So for anyone out there, we have to listen to
- 1:35:18Speaker 33: what our children say. And the lesson for myself as
- 1:35:22Speaker 33: well as a widow, I'm so busy trying to take
- 1:35:26Speaker 33: care of all of the details of their lives. I
- 1:35:30Speaker 33: forget sometimes to just stop and say, how are you,
- 1:35:34Speaker 33: what's going on, what's on your mind?
- 1:35:36Speaker 20: And that's what we all need to do. We need
- 1:35:39Speaker 20: to hear them.
- 1:35:40Speaker 33: They left so much to say and they don't know
- 1:35:43Speaker 33: where to start, and especially today, Kevin, because they're so
- 1:35:47Speaker 33: they're so attached to their devices, right and they're so
- 1:35:50Speaker 33: electronically engaged, the talking comes more difficult for them, and duraging.
- 1:35:56Speaker 6: Becomes more difficult.
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: Got to kind of dig them out of there. You
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: got to pull them out of the sells sometimes. Well cool,
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: thank you for sharing that. We're getting pictures and snapshots
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: of mom all week, so I appreciate yours. Let's go
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: back to our day job. What's the market about today?
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: What stocks are we talking about today?
- 1:36:13Speaker 33: Okay, I'm doing undervalued stocks today, And the reason I'm
- 1:36:17Speaker 33: doing undervalued stocks is that I think that technology as
- 1:36:22Speaker 33: wonderful and opportunistic and that's where you're going to make
- 1:36:25Speaker 33: your millions and millions and thousands become millions and millions
- 1:36:29Speaker 33: become billions. You still have to be realistic and realize
- 1:36:33Speaker 33: it's a risky game. So Campbell's soup c PB seas
- 1:36:39Speaker 33: in Campbell's pas in party be as in boy, you
- 1:36:43Speaker 33: want to own a company like Campbell's soup that is
- 1:36:45Speaker 33: so undervalued right now. That's and it goes without saying
- 1:36:51Speaker 33: if we have any kind of recession, that's where you
- 1:36:54Speaker 33: want to be. That's where there's going to going to
- 1:36:56Speaker 33: be opportunity and you have a give it a deal
- 1:36:59Speaker 33: there as well. So let me just tell you what
- 1:37:01Speaker 33: your diving and yield is for Campbell's soup.
- 1:37:04Speaker 19: You're diving in yield right now.
- 1:37:05Speaker 20: It's seven point six percent.
- 1:37:07Speaker 4: Wow, seven point.
- 1:37:09Speaker 33: Six Now, usually when you have a divide in yield
- 1:37:11Speaker 33: that high, it usually means that the company is having
- 1:37:14Speaker 33: a problem in the stock and the.
- 1:37:16Speaker 20: Company is going to cut the dividend.
- 1:37:18Speaker 33: But in the case of Campbell Soup, I would I
- 1:37:21Speaker 33: bet lots of money that that seven point six percent
- 1:37:24Speaker 33: is going to stay seven point six percent. And as
- 1:37:26Speaker 33: soon as there's concern about the stock market and the
- 1:37:29Speaker 33: recession and anything about our economy, everyone starts buying Campbell Soup.
- 1:37:36Speaker 20: Because they make Prego, and they make Pepperich Farm, and
- 1:37:39Speaker 20: they have the Kettle brand.
- 1:37:40Speaker 33: The Goldfish Cape Cod and of course Campbell Soup. We
- 1:37:44Speaker 33: can't forget that, okay. And the stock is way down
- 1:37:47Speaker 33: year to date, it's down twenty six percent, it's is
- 1:37:50Speaker 33: that no one's interested in owning Campbell's soup. But there's
- 1:37:53Speaker 33: a company called Coloplast c LBF. The divid ind is
- 1:38:00Speaker 33: solid at five point six percent, totally undervalued healthcare.
- 1:38:06Speaker 20: Company, pharma company. This stock is.
- 1:38:10Speaker 33: Down in the last three months twenty five point two percent,
- 1:38:13Speaker 33: in the last year down thirty nine percent.
- 1:38:16Speaker 20: People just aren't interesting and interested in buying it.
- 1:38:20Speaker 33: But it's in an area that their actual core operation
- 1:38:25Speaker 33: of Coloplast is intestinal products and also reproductive products. But
- 1:38:32Speaker 33: where the reason I started looking at Coloplast is because
- 1:38:35Speaker 33: they've wound and.
- 1:38:36Speaker 20: Skincare for chronic wounds, and they do.
- 1:38:39Speaker 33: They're really in the areas where they specialize. They are
- 1:38:44Speaker 33: it and there's a lot of also they're also in
- 1:38:47Speaker 33: terms of intestinal there's a lot of intestinal issues and
- 1:38:51Speaker 33: you know, and after COVID it's been it's been an
- 1:38:54Speaker 33: issue and it's been a problem.
- 1:38:56Speaker 20: And I know people are losing weight and that's probably
- 1:38:58Speaker 20: one of.
- 1:38:58Speaker 33: The reasons Coloplast went down because there isn't as much
- 1:39:02Speaker 33: demands as there used to be in you know, intestinal
- 1:39:06Speaker 33: issues because as people lose weight, they get healthier. But
- 1:39:09Speaker 33: CLPBF get that dividing yield, and those datish companies.
- 1:39:15Speaker 20: Are kind of amazing, to be honest. Okay, now another one,
- 1:39:19Speaker 20: I'm okay, time.
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: Wise, right, yep, you're good.
- 1:39:21Speaker 18: Okay.
- 1:39:22Speaker 20: SAP, most of you've heard of it. One point seven
- 1:39:26Speaker 20: percent dividing yield. This is a software company.
- 1:39:29Speaker 33: We always called it the Microsoft of Germany, and in fact,
- 1:39:34Speaker 33: anytime anyone talks about SAP they compare it to Microsoft.
- 1:39:37Speaker 33: But year to date, that stock's down twenty nine percent.
- 1:39:40Speaker 33: In the last year, the stock is down forty three percent,
- 1:39:44Speaker 33: and it is literally a lot of I mean a
- 1:39:48Speaker 33: lot of the issue, of course, is artificial intelligence and AI,
- 1:39:52Speaker 33: and the concern that that institutions and individuals are going
- 1:39:58Speaker 33: to start to adopt using AI rather than the software
- 1:40:04Speaker 33: or software as a subscription service. But this is a strong,
- 1:40:11Speaker 33: top company, and if you take a look at the
- 1:40:13Speaker 33: stock of Microsoft, you can see that SAP should be
- 1:40:16Speaker 33: following suit and it's not.
- 1:40:18Speaker 20: And you can't go wrong.
- 1:40:20Speaker 33: Now I have to just very quickly give you one more,
- 1:40:24Speaker 33: which is Sony. The giving and yield is less than
- 1:40:27Speaker 33: one percent, but the stock of Sony. The reason it's
- 1:40:30Speaker 33: gone down people are concerned about like the music industry,
- 1:40:33Speaker 33: and obviously the music industry has been struggling, even though
- 1:40:36Speaker 33: music itself is more popular than ever and always will be.
- 1:40:40Speaker 34: But you're to date, Sony's down twenty three percent, twenty
- 1:40:44Speaker 34: three But the beauty of Sony isn't necessarily just the music,
- 1:40:49Speaker 34: but it has to do.
- 1:40:50Speaker 35: With the video games, the consoles, the software that's involved
- 1:40:54Speaker 35: with all of these these the video, the video market,
- 1:40:58Speaker 35: and they're also very very strong, of course in other areas.
- 1:41:01Speaker 33: The video camera business, still images, the smartphone business. Some
- 1:41:06Speaker 33: of their software is used in smartphones. So I love
- 1:41:10Speaker 33: I love Sony. You can't go wrong with owning.
- 1:41:12Speaker 1: Sony, all right. That is a great foursome today, Campbell's, Coloplast, SAP,
- 1:41:20Speaker 1: and Sony, all of them paying dividend yields and all
- 1:41:23Speaker 1: of them helping your portfolio. Hillary Kramer, thank you so much.
- 1:41:27Speaker 33: Thank you, Kevin, and Happy Mother's Day to all the
- 1:41:29Speaker 33: mothers Day, Happy Mother's Week.
- 1:41:31Speaker 1: We celebrated all week long. Kevin McCullough, coming right back,
- 1:41:34Speaker 1: don't go away.
- 1:41:35Speaker 4: Let's stick around for more of than Kevin.
- 1:41:38Speaker 1: Next, Hi, Calvin McCollough, I want to talk to you
