- 0:09Speaker 1: Advice, sugar spice, It's not nice.
- 0:15Speaker 2: And love and never never lovell Welcome to the Naughty
- 0:18Speaker 2: but Nice Sham your house, drop Shooter, and it's Wednesday,
- 0:20Speaker 2: which means our dear friend Donny Meacham joins us from
- 0:23Speaker 2: the LA Bureau of the Naughty but Nice Show. What
- 0:27Speaker 2: does it feel like to be our only bureau and
- 0:30Speaker 2: the only person in the only bureau? A tight organization? Hello,
- 0:36Speaker 2: you know?
- 0:36Speaker 1: I mean, I'm the OG, I'm day one and I
- 0:41Speaker 1: am still here. And that just goes.
- 0:43Speaker 2: I got a lot of people.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Look, Rob, We've been doing this for a long time,
- 0:48Speaker 1: long time, and a lot of times these are like
- 0:51Speaker 1: you meet a lot of air quote friends in the
- 0:54Speaker 1: entertainment industry and people are.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Like, let's work together, let's work together.
- 0:58Speaker 1: And then they fall off because it doesn't succeed. Oh
- 1:03Speaker 1: that was cute, but it takes work and we've with it.
- 1:09Speaker 2: We are still here moving look at big plans. Okay,
- 1:14Speaker 2: let's go into the show. What time is it? My friends?
- 1:16Speaker 2: It is big story. At the top of the show,
- 1:19Speaker 2: prosecutors claim that Matthew Perry's assistant tried to cover up
- 1:23Speaker 2: ketamine evidence. Wow, so federal prosecutors are saying that Matthew's
- 1:27Speaker 2: former assistant allegedly went on damage control mode immediately after
- 1:33Speaker 2: the actor's death. According to new court filings, I've been
- 1:36Speaker 2: going through them this morning. His assistant was called Kenneth.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Kenneth is accused of ordering kadamine bottles and syringes to
- 1:45Speaker 2: be destroyed. He even shredded documents and deleted digital evidence,
- 1:49Speaker 2: or tried to. We know that evidence never gets deleted.
- 1:53Speaker 2: I see your Nancy Grace. I've learned that from her
- 1:55Speaker 2: and all this is tied to the investigation. So prosecutors
- 1:59Speaker 2: also claim that he lied to investigate us dumb about
- 2:03Speaker 2: the events surrounding Perry's final days, including how many injections
- 2:07Speaker 2: the actor received. The filing alleges that Kenneth later admitted
- 2:13Speaker 2: during a phone call that he quote cleaned up the scene,
- 2:18Speaker 2: deleted records, and even changed passwords on Matthew's devices after
- 2:23Speaker 2: the actor died. He has previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy
- 2:29Speaker 2: to distribute kedamine resulting in death, and is expected to
- 2:33Speaker 2: be sentenced this week. Donne, the evidence is there, the
- 2:39Speaker 2: science is there. Tiding up a desk, washing some blood away,
- 2:45Speaker 2: getting rid of a syringe. It don't make any difference.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Tell the truth. They gotcha, They gotcha. What do you think?
- 2:51Speaker 1: Oh, now, look, I'm not condoning what he did. Do
- 2:54Speaker 1: not lie to authorities. That is the number one rule
- 2:57Speaker 1: that everyone should follow because they will find out. So
- 3:01Speaker 1: once you lie, you're already on bad footing with him.
- 3:04Speaker 1: So don't lie. But he was doing his job, you know,
- 3:10Speaker 1: like and I know that sounds crazy, but that's what
- 3:12Speaker 1: he That's what you know assistants do is they clean
- 3:15Speaker 1: up your mess. That's what assistants are for. They're there
- 3:18Speaker 1: to help you out. So for him, it's what he knew.
- 3:22Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, If you does that makes sense.
- 3:24Speaker 1: It's like he knew that Matthew Perry needed help in
- 3:29Speaker 1: this moment, and so he goes into I'm his assistant,
- 3:33Speaker 1: I need to clean this up mode. I don't fault
- 3:36Speaker 1: him for that.
- 3:37Speaker 2: That's interesting because it depends who he was trying to help.
- 3:40Speaker 2: If he was trying to cover up Matthew had died
- 3:42Speaker 2: of an overdose, and he was being an assistant even
- 3:45Speaker 2: after Matthew's death and trying to keep us focused on
- 3:49Speaker 2: the happy stuff, the friend stuff. And this was a
- 3:51Speaker 2: secret that he didn't want to, and I might be
- 3:53Speaker 2: able to buy. Some people would argue he was covering
- 3:56Speaker 2: up for himself because he was the one that was giving.
- 4:00Speaker 2: And that is a very very different thing for me
- 4:03Speaker 2: to come into your apartment, Donnie and find out that
- 4:06Speaker 2: you've been up to no good and I get rid
- 4:08Speaker 2: of the evidence. That's a very generous thing of me
- 4:10Speaker 2: to do. And However, if I was involved in this
- 4:14Speaker 2: demise of Donni Meacham and I cleaned up the evidence,
- 4:17Speaker 2: would I be helping you? Maybe? Would I be helping me? Absolutely?
- 4:21Speaker 2: So that's the part of this that's very very tricky here.
- 4:24Speaker 2: I do understand we've all not been in a circumstance
- 4:28Speaker 2: like this, thankfully, but we've all had something happened that
- 4:31Speaker 2: we're not proud of that we wish we hadn't done.
- 4:34Speaker 2: We've all tried to cover something up. I don't like
- 4:37Speaker 2: it if I burp in public, I try to pretend
- 4:39Speaker 2: it wasn't me. So I do understand trying to cover
- 4:43Speaker 2: stuff up. I have learnt in life that it's always
- 4:46Speaker 2: better to just tell the truth. It is because the
- 4:50Speaker 2: truth is going to come out, so as awful as
- 4:53Speaker 2: it sounds in the moment, it's actually better for you
- 4:56Speaker 2: to tell your story than anybody else. In my days
- 4:58Speaker 2: in PR, why one of the things I did was
- 5:01Speaker 2: crisis PR when a celebrity got in a ton of trouble,
- 5:03Speaker 2: and the hardest thing was convincing celebrity to tell their story.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Because your instincts, maybe we're taught this as children is
- 5:12Speaker 2: to lie is to pretend we didn't do it. We
- 5:16Speaker 2: did it. And if you actually say you did it,
- 5:18Speaker 2: if you do admit to it, it's awful, terrible. Nobody
- 5:22Speaker 2: likes you for doing something bad, but it's actually better
- 5:25Speaker 2: in the long run, and you certainly you buy yourself
- 5:28Speaker 2: some trust, you buy yourself some authenticity. I admitted. Have
- 5:33Speaker 2: you ever been out in a group of people and
- 5:35Speaker 2: somebody's let off a terrible smell and you're like, who
- 5:38Speaker 2: did that? I would say it was me? I would
- 5:41Speaker 2: now the old me might not admit it. Now I'd say, well,
- 5:44Speaker 2: I'm terribly sorry, I've got a bit of an upset Tommy.
- 5:47Speaker 2: That awful smell is me, and it'd be so embarrassing.
- 5:51Speaker 2: But I think people knew it was me. Where are
- 5:54Speaker 2: you on this? Because you're more devious than I am, Donna,
- 5:56Speaker 2: You're a devious devil.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I am a devious level boy, but I am anything.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I am honest to a fond Because if there's one
- 6:04Speaker 1: thing that I cannot get over is a liar. If
- 6:09Speaker 1: you lie to me, and it's just and it's a
- 6:12Speaker 1: blatant lie that I can figure out. I mean, I'm
- 6:16Speaker 1: actually more just mad because you thought I was that
- 6:19Speaker 1: stupid that I wouldn't figure it out.
- 6:22Speaker 2: That I had a boyfriend a long time, long before
- 6:24Speaker 2: Bruce was probably having like cheating kissing other people and
- 6:30Speaker 2: I knew about it. And the lie that he told
- 6:33Speaker 2: me he wasn't didn't necessarily hurt the feelings didn't. Didn't
- 6:37Speaker 2: the I didn't. It was the fact he thought of
- 6:39Speaker 2: was stupid. Believe that's the part that really bugged me.
- 6:45Speaker 2: This assistant is in a ton of trouble. It's made
- 6:48Speaker 2: it worse for himself by trying to cover it up,
- 6:51Speaker 2: because we know what he did. It's all there, the injection,
- 6:54Speaker 2: we've got the toxic ecology results, we've got the phone records,
- 6:57Speaker 2: we've seen it. Yeah, I wish he had spent us
- 7:01Speaker 2: as much time trying to revive Matthew as he did
- 7:04Speaker 2: covering up for this deed. He spent a lot of
- 7:07Speaker 2: effort trying to cover up this repulsive moment. I wish
- 7:11Speaker 2: he'd spent half that effort trying to keep Matthew alive
- 7:14Speaker 2: and maybe would have a very different story. Today, they're
- 7:16Speaker 2: gonna throw the book at him, which brings us to
- 7:18Speaker 2: our pole question of the day. Matthew Perry's assistant has
- 7:22Speaker 2: been accused of trying to cover up evidence after Matthew died.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Should he get a jail? His sentence is coming in
- 7:28Speaker 2: in hours and days. We're going to find out this
- 7:31Speaker 2: week what's going to happen to kennethy assistant? What do
- 7:34Speaker 2: you think? Should he be in jail? Go vote on
- 7:36Speaker 2: our Twitter page at Naughty Nise rob our facebook page
- 7:39Speaker 2: is not and be sure to check back to mar
- 7:42Speaker 2: rau Water here your results. Hey, Donny Love, what are
- 7:45Speaker 2: you working on? Oh?
- 7:47Speaker 1: Chelsea him that we are now? She just loves Calnt
- 7:50Speaker 1: somebody out. But this one's is surprising because apparently she
- 7:55Speaker 1: went out on a date with all Bobby Flay, which
- 7:59Speaker 1: is you don't see oh Bobby Flay, the old chef,
- 8:03Speaker 1: Bobby Flay going out with Chelsea Hnner. But any who,
- 8:05Speaker 1: they went out and he's cheap that she says he's cheap.
- 8:10Speaker 1: So she was on a podcast and she said, he
- 8:13Speaker 1: offered to order room service.
- 8:14Speaker 2: What do you think that's sweet? It?
- 8:17Speaker 1: Get that Food Network. He has thirty two shows on
- 8:19Speaker 1: the Food Network. Thirty two shows and they're all renewed.
- 8:23Speaker 1: So let's he's got money.
- 8:25Speaker 2: He got money.
- 8:27Speaker 1: So the room service came and she was handed a bill.
- 8:32Speaker 1: He ordered it, but she had a flavor, which is hilarious.
- 8:37Speaker 1: It's funny because goes into like joke territory. But then
- 8:41Speaker 1: she admitted that she actually ended up going on on
- 8:43Speaker 1: a date date with him and it just didn't work.
- 8:46Speaker 2: That didn't work, didn't match? Did it work? I know
- 8:49Speaker 2: him a little bit. We email each other. I know
- 8:51Speaker 2: him to say hello too. We know each other socially.
- 8:54Speaker 2: He's a very nice guy. I don't know if he's
- 8:56Speaker 2: cheap or not, because I've never had that opportunity. Although
- 8:59Speaker 2: I did eat him one of his restaurants and he
- 9:01Speaker 2: sent the bill. I didn't get a free dessert. Oh
- 9:04Speaker 2: I didn't get Apparently I didn't expec the whole wheel
- 9:06Speaker 2: to it before it. But you could have rustled up
- 9:08Speaker 2: a piece of cheesecake. What I mean? He didn't, but
- 9:11Speaker 2: I don't hold bat against him. He's quite sexy. He's
- 9:14Speaker 2: quite sexy. I saw him once in the Whole Food
- 9:16Speaker 2: on twenty fourth Street, bending down to get some broccoli,
- 9:21Speaker 2: and he wasn't wearing any underwear. I could see right
- 9:23Speaker 2: down the back of miss jeans. Oh, I separate your
- 9:26Speaker 2: ray wouldn't like broccoli. So I do sort of like
- 9:31Speaker 2: Bobby Chelsea. Though it is funny for a chef to
- 9:35Speaker 2: auder room service. I'd say, you get down to the kitchen,
- 9:37Speaker 2: cooking cheese sandwich, doing yourself, your lazy bones, and then
- 9:42Speaker 2: to build before it. It is funny, but it's also shocking.
- 9:46Speaker 2: I'm not surprised that these two did get a log,
- 9:49Speaker 2: and I do love it. It's naughty that it's kissing
- 9:51Speaker 2: and telling, but I love it. I love it. I
- 9:54Speaker 2: know it's naughty, but it made me giggle. The verdict
- 9:57Speaker 2: not a match. Another foods story. It was food Food Food. Today.
- 10:01Speaker 2: The Jonas Brothers family restaurant is shutting down in Vegas.
- 10:04Speaker 2: This is quite surprising. So they opened Nellie's Southern Kitchen.
- 10:08Speaker 2: I don't necessarily think of them as Southern boys, but
- 10:10Speaker 2: it was in the MGM Grand It only lasted three
- 10:13Speaker 2: years shutting down. They opened it when the brothers had
- 10:17Speaker 2: a residency. That's what they were trying to do. They
- 10:19Speaker 2: were trying to cash in that the brothers were there
- 10:21Speaker 2: in twenty twenty two. You know, it's like Celine diarn
- 10:23Speaker 2: has the gift shop and you have the slot machines
- 10:25Speaker 2: where Elton John's there. They opened a restaurant. It is
- 10:29Speaker 2: really really hard to have a celebrity restaurant. Our friend
- 10:32Speaker 2: Rosanna Scotta has had a restaurant in New York for
- 10:34Speaker 2: what thirty forty years. She hustles, She really works hard
- 10:38Speaker 2: to make that. She doesn't work so unless the Jonas,
- 10:43Speaker 2: the only way a celebrity restaurant works is the food's
- 10:46Speaker 2: got to be good, because that's more important than any celebrity.
- 10:48Speaker 2: It's got to be good food and b The celebrities
- 10:51Speaker 2: have got to turn up. Their parents aren't famous, so
- 10:54Speaker 2: their mom and dad being in the kitchen, being the
- 10:56Speaker 2: matre d being behind the bar doesn't interest me. Want
- 11:00Speaker 2: Nick's standing behind the bar shirtless making me a cocktail,
- 11:03Speaker 2: strumming his guitar, and the brothers didn't really show up
- 11:08Speaker 2: that much. Tricky, isn't it? I think celebrities think they
- 11:11Speaker 2: can just slap their name on anything, bottles of wine,
- 11:14Speaker 2: restaurants and perfumes and it will sell, and often it doesn't.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Just because you are a famous person does not mean
- 11:20Speaker 2: this is going to be a hit. Would you go
- 11:22Speaker 2: to the Jonas Brother's restaurant, Donnie? What do you think
- 11:25Speaker 2: is it interesting?
- 11:26Speaker 1: Well, here's the problem. The thing is is, yes, it
- 11:29Speaker 1: was Kevin Senior's grandmother's name, but Nelly doesn't scream Jonas Brother.
- 11:35Speaker 2: How do we know that? Or you're a marketing Jonius.
- 11:39Speaker 2: I don't want this, Nelly. I want it to be
- 11:42Speaker 2: called the Jonas Brothers restaurant with shirtless Nick behind the bar.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Let's spell it out wearing pants that are way too tight.
- 11:51Speaker 2: That's what I want at the Jonas brother You're very smart, Donnie. Okay,
- 11:55Speaker 2: moving along, and Lisa Renna is shutting down a big
- 11:59Speaker 2: story that's blowing up in LA and really around around
- 12:02Speaker 2: the country about Spencer Pratt. She does not think he
- 12:05Speaker 2: should be the mayor. What does she have to say?
- 12:07Speaker 1: What she should have shut down? Is that outfit? She honey,
- 12:11Speaker 1: those baggage, Lisa, you knew.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Better than that. Oh, it's terrible.
- 12:17Speaker 1: It's So she was on the carpet at the American
- 12:20Speaker 1: Music Awards and she was asked about Spencer Pratt's murial campaign,
- 12:25Speaker 1: and she goes, we've seen what happens when a celebrity
- 12:29Speaker 1: runs the government, which obviously a diget, mister Trump, who
- 12:34Speaker 1: are this?
- 12:34Speaker 2: You know?
- 12:35Speaker 1: The Apprentice host? And but here's the thing, now, this
- 12:38Speaker 1: is where I'm gonna go on a brace with me
- 12:41Speaker 1: for a second, because this frustrates me. I live, and
- 12:45Speaker 1: I trust me. I am not advocating for Spencer Pratt.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Trust me, I have all weekened.
- 12:50Speaker 2: I was.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I'm still contemplating making a video for it, because there
- 12:53Speaker 1: are attack ads against him all the time. I see
- 12:57Speaker 1: them all the time on the Roku channel and here
- 13:00Speaker 1: it is and they're all like, but their biggest attack
- 13:01Speaker 1: against him is Spencer wants more cops. He wants more cops.
- 13:06Speaker 1: We don't need more cops, we need, you know, more
- 13:10Speaker 1: crisis counselors. Have you walked I live here, I walk
- 13:14Speaker 1: down the street. I'm sorry, a little bit of cop
- 13:16Speaker 1: presence wouldn't hurt. Every time you turn around. There is
- 13:20Speaker 1: crime here, There is breakings, there is fights. Ever have
- 13:24Speaker 1: you looked at the we hold times Instagram. Every weekend
- 13:27Speaker 1: there are brawls on the street, and we have we
- 13:30Speaker 1: hire these peace officers now, but they're standing there watching
- 13:34Speaker 1: the fights happen because they can't do anything.
- 13:37Speaker 2: So I get enough. It's just it's tough.
- 13:39Speaker 1: But it's like I live here, and first of all,
- 13:41Speaker 1: Lisa Renna, you live in Beverly Hills Street where you
- 13:46Speaker 1: don't need to worry about the crime that's happening around you.
- 13:50Speaker 1: So that's the only thing that frustrates me.
- 13:53Speaker 2: It's a really big thing. We don't do politics on
- 13:56Speaker 2: the show, so we're gonna keep this this brief. But
- 13:58Speaker 2: there is a failure of people in positions of power
- 14:02Speaker 2: when you can't walk down your street at night, when
- 14:05Speaker 2: I don't feel safe during anyway, I must admit I
- 14:09Speaker 2: feel very safe in New York, my neighborhood in Chelsea,
- 14:12Speaker 2: in New York, I feel very very safe. I do
- 14:15Speaker 2: have friends in LA who used to feel really safe,
- 14:17Speaker 2: and they told me La is a different town. That is,
- 14:21Speaker 2: it is a tough, tough town. Bruce was there for
- 14:25Speaker 2: several months working on his show Harmony in downtown LA,
- 14:28Speaker 2: which is what's sort of commonly known as Skiro and
- 14:32Speaker 2: it was a little after the show. We had finished
- 14:34Speaker 2: at ten thirty at night, and we got a car home.
- 14:37Speaker 2: We didn't walk back to the hotel. And it was
- 14:39Speaker 2: it was a little it was a little alarming, but
- 14:42Speaker 2: you saw out of the windows, and so I do
- 14:44Speaker 2: understand people's frustrations here. It's tricky. Lisa got herself into this.
- 14:49Speaker 2: She didn't have to answer this, and so she did
- 14:52Speaker 2: speak up. And now people are talking about it. But
- 14:55Speaker 2: it'd be interesting, Donnor you live there. It's true what
- 14:58Speaker 2: my friends are saying, what you're saying. It's not the la.
- 15:00Speaker 2: We know it's a tough tann and you live in
- 15:03Speaker 2: a nice neighborhood. You're not inside Hollywood. West Harley used
- 15:07Speaker 2: to be lovely West hallo. Oh, it used to be
- 15:09Speaker 2: so safe and all the games and the abbey and
- 15:11Speaker 2: you could wander up and down that strip and oh,
- 15:14Speaker 2: I loved West Hollywood. I'm told it's a different place. Okay,
- 15:17Speaker 2: Moving along, Russell Crow is warning fans to not be
- 15:21Speaker 2: quite as aggressive. So he's coming out of his hotel
- 15:23Speaker 2: in Paris and fans go nuts and they're pushing and
- 15:26Speaker 2: they're shoving. They want him to sign stuff, and he
- 15:28Speaker 2: basically says you've all got to stop believe it. He said,
- 15:31Speaker 2: you got to stop it so pushy. You've got to
- 15:33Speaker 2: be patient here, he said, I'm quite happy to sign stuff,
- 15:36Speaker 2: but don't act like a d ic k now a line.
- 15:40Speaker 2: People have really supported this, saying it's really refreshing that
- 15:44Speaker 2: the fans were just rude. He gets it, he gets
- 15:47Speaker 2: what you want. He's willing to sign it, but you
- 15:49Speaker 2: can ask in a very nice way. I find that
- 15:51Speaker 2: the nicer you water celebrities, the more likely they are
- 15:53Speaker 2: to stand there and sign your stuff. Okay, we're going
- 15:56Speaker 2: to take a quick break and we will be right back.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Welcome back to the Naughty but Night Show. I'm your
- 16:03Speaker 2: host of Shooter with Donnie Meacham. Hey Donnie, let's get
- 16:05Speaker 2: to the polls. Last show, we talked about Travis Kelsey
- 16:10Speaker 2: is struggling with Taylor Swift's massive security. So he's a
- 16:13Speaker 2: traditional man. Someone say a man's man. I don't know
- 16:15Speaker 2: quite the word that means, but sort of aggressive. I
- 16:17Speaker 2: think he thinks that a man should take care of
- 16:19Speaker 2: the little lady and being a little bit dramatic bear.
- 16:23Speaker 2: But he is from that school where he would like
- 16:25Speaker 2: to really who wouldn't who wouldn't want to take care
- 16:28Speaker 2: of their partner. However, Taylor Swift is a different, different partner.
- 16:32Speaker 2: She has security with her all the time, and that's
- 16:35Speaker 2: very tricky for him. And he's got a figure at ad,
- 16:38Speaker 2: not just for him, anybody that has twenty four hour security.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Jenna Bush told me on the Today Show that she
- 16:43Speaker 2: hated having security when she was growing up. These men
- 16:46Speaker 2: following her in sunglasses and suits when she's trying to
- 16:49Speaker 2: grow up. So he is a little bit more complicated.
- 16:51Speaker 2: My question was, does he just need to get over it?
- 16:55Speaker 2: Does Travis need to get over it? Let's have a look.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Seventy percent said yes, it's not going to change even
- 17:00Speaker 2: when they get married. He can want to protect her,
- 17:02Speaker 2: and he should protect her. She needs this layer of security.
- 17:07Speaker 2: It makes things awkward. Can they be spur of the moment?
- 17:10Speaker 2: Maybe not. They have to plan stuff, They can't just
- 17:12Speaker 2: turn up anywhere, and so it's tricky. But he didn't
- 17:17Speaker 2: get with Taylor when she was a developing artist and
- 17:20Speaker 2: up and coming artist. He knew what he was getting into.
- 17:23Speaker 2: He dated her at the peak of her success during
- 17:25Speaker 2: the airas too. That's when he met her. And that's
- 17:28Speaker 2: Taylor that we have today, So I don't feel sorry
- 17:31Speaker 2: for anybody here. If Taylor has to deal with it,
- 17:33Speaker 2: this is part of her life and so get over it. Hey,
- 17:36Speaker 2: don't forget to vote on today's poul Go to page
- 17:39Speaker 2: Naughty Knows Rob. That Facebook page is nought to gossip,
- 17:43Speaker 2: and be sure to check back to my raw to
- 17:45Speaker 2: hear your results are now. Oh, I like this. It's
- 17:48Speaker 2: time for and nicest of the day. M what do
- 17:54Speaker 2: you got done? They?
- 17:56Speaker 1: I'm feeling extra night. I was surprised Russell Crow still
- 17:59Speaker 1: had bands.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Oh, Gladiator is agendary.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Fabulous moment. Queen Latifa, she made a rare family red
- 18:10Speaker 1: carpet appearance at the American Music Wards. She hosted the show,
- 18:14Speaker 1: she was the boss of the show. Well, she actually
- 18:18Speaker 1: walked the red carpet with her longtime partner Ebony Nichols
- 18:21Speaker 1: and their young son, Rebel, Which is interesting because I
- 18:26Speaker 1: will be I will be honest, I'm not sure that
- 18:29Speaker 1: Queen Latifa has ever come out and said I'm a lesbian.
- 18:33Speaker 2: She has not.
- 18:34Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not mistaken. It's never happened. So for
- 18:36Speaker 1: her to do this is a very It's just one
- 18:40Speaker 1: of those moments. I think it's almost like, I will say,
- 18:42Speaker 1: it's like a maybe a Shawn Mendez moment allegedly where
- 18:46Speaker 1: it's like, I'm living my truth, truth right in front
- 18:48Speaker 1: of your face. Why do I need to say it?
- 18:51Speaker 2: Yeah? I think this is a major moment. She doesn't
- 18:53Speaker 2: want to talk about it. That's her parocrotipe. I think
- 18:55Speaker 2: she could have done a lot of good if she
- 18:57Speaker 2: spoke about it, but I'm not gonna judge it for that.
- 18:59Speaker 2: But I'm glad that she's now found her comfort And
- 19:02Speaker 2: don't live lies, anybody out there, live your authentic life
- 19:06Speaker 2: and nice as the day now I noticed the day naughty, Naughty, Naughty.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Kevin Hart is defending his controversial roast, saying that he
- 19:13Speaker 2: would not have told that joke. Though, so there was
- 19:15Speaker 2: a George Floyd's joke told by Tony Hitchcliff. I believe
- 19:21Speaker 2: his name is a right wing comic. There's been a
- 19:24Speaker 2: lot of pushback in Heart is saying that critics are
- 19:27Speaker 2: unfairly blaming him for somebody else's material. This is very
- 19:32Speaker 2: complicated because it was Kevin's roast and he could have
- 19:36Speaker 2: pushed back in the moment. Roasts are meant to be outrageous, However,
- 19:41Speaker 2: there has to be I hope there are some things
- 19:43Speaker 2: that you can't say, that you shouldn't say, that are
- 19:46Speaker 2: not funny, and to laugh along is not right. Miss
- 19:49Speaker 2: DearS taught me I can't be neutral about stuff that
- 19:54Speaker 2: is wrong, racism. If somebody says something racist, walking out
- 19:58Speaker 2: of the room doesn't have help. You have to you
- 20:01Speaker 2: have to stand up. You have to say something. And
- 20:03Speaker 2: Kevin could have spoken up in the roast he didn't
- 20:06Speaker 2: and said I don't think that's funny, or after the
- 20:09Speaker 2: roast it wasn't live. He could have had it edited
- 20:11Speaker 2: out like that one joke across the line. And so
- 20:15Speaker 2: it's complicated here. George Floyd's a state. His relatives have
- 20:20Speaker 2: expressed his family have expressed outrage. I think it went
- 20:24Speaker 2: too far. Okay, let's end with a moment of rob
- 20:26Speaker 2: You're trust yourself enough to move forward, decide that success,
- 20:33Speaker 2: success is possible. Plan your future as if it is
- 20:38Speaker 2: all gonna be okay, move forward with the life that
- 20:41Speaker 2: you really want. Too many people stay frozen waiting for
- 20:45Speaker 2: stuff to come along that never does. Confidence is not
- 20:48Speaker 2: knowing everything will work out perfectly. It's believing that you
- 20:51Speaker 2: will handle whatever happens next. Fear keeps people stark in
- 20:56Speaker 2: preparation mode. No faith creates momotum momentum. Have faith. Have faith.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Every great, great change begins with one powerful choice to
- 21:09Speaker 2: stop expecting failure and start expecting success. Change the way
- 21:15Speaker 2: you think. Stop expecting things to go wrong, start expecting
- 21:19Speaker 2: them to go right, and your life will change. Hey,
- 21:22Speaker 2: that is it for today. Thank you so much for
- 21:25Speaker 2: listening to the Naughty Bit Nice with Robin Donni Show.
- 21:27Speaker 2: We're a production of Elvis Durant and iHeartRadio. Don't forget
