- 0:00Speaker 1: That's going on, is Romeo? What do we get into today?
- 0:02Speaker 1: We talked about your crazy dreams. We talked about tipping
- 0:05Speaker 1: and dealing with the bill when you go out with
- 0:06Speaker 1: large groups of people, and then we talked about marriage.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Does it change?
- 0:10Speaker 2: You were not right?
- 0:11Speaker 1: I gotta tell you what else happened? What happened yesterday?
- 0:15Speaker 1: I got a phone call from a friend of mine.
- 0:17Speaker 1: He's at work, and he goes, hey, can you help
- 0:21Speaker 1: me out? And I was like, Oh, what do you need?
- 0:23Speaker 1: He goes, my kids and their friends were going to
- 0:26Speaker 1: Magic Mountain and they ran out of gas. I said,
- 0:31Speaker 1: apparently these dumb ass kids ran out of gas just
- 0:38Speaker 1: going up the Grapevine. I guess they were up somewhere
- 0:41Speaker 1: around I don't know, maybe where the I don't know
- 0:44Speaker 1: what town it is, but where the rest stop is?
- 0:50Speaker 1: You couldn't think of it the rest stop, right, I
- 0:52Speaker 1: guess they broke down up there. They didn't break down,
- 0:54Speaker 1: they ran out of gas. And so I was thinking
- 0:57Speaker 1: to myself, well, isn't there a little town up there?
- 1:00Speaker 1: Like they couldn't go up and get more gas. I
- 1:03Speaker 1: don't know, push the car. I guess you can't push
- 1:06Speaker 1: the car on the on the five. But he goes
- 1:11Speaker 1: so he uh, he says, man, would you mind running
- 1:13Speaker 1: up there and uh getting them some gas? And I said, yeah,
- 1:17Speaker 1: I'll go do it. I didn't you know, I don't.
- 1:19Speaker 1: I didn't have nothing else to do, so I, uh,
- 1:24Speaker 1: you know, I go fill up my little gas tank
- 1:26Speaker 1: and I and I run up to and I go
- 1:27Speaker 1: up to where they were, you know, out of gas,
- 1:30Speaker 1: and I fill them up with gas. Kids are so
- 1:35Speaker 1: god to be to be a teenager again. Right. I
- 1:39Speaker 1: gave him a couple of gallons of gas because I
- 1:41Speaker 1: think I got a three gallon gas tank or a
- 1:42Speaker 1: four gallon gas ink, and I got them. I give
- 1:44Speaker 1: him three gallons or four gallons worth of gas, right,
- 1:50Speaker 1: and he go. They go, all right, we'll see later.
- 1:52Speaker 1: And I'm like, hold on a second, where are you
- 1:55Speaker 1: guys going, Well, we're gonna go to Magic Mountain. I'm like,
- 2:00Speaker 1: you'll get some gas first. Four gallons of gas is
- 2:03Speaker 1: not going to get you too magic Mountain and back.
- 2:05Speaker 1: These idiots weren't even going to go get more gas.
- 2:08Speaker 1: They were just so excited because they were going to
- 2:11Speaker 1: Magic Mountain. I thought, get gas, you gotta get gas. Okay,
- 2:17Speaker 1: there's a town right up the street. Go get some
- 2:19Speaker 1: gas before you go. So they ended up going to
- 2:22Speaker 1: the gas station. You get some gas, And it cracked
- 2:26Speaker 1: me up because I just thought, man, they ran out
- 2:30Speaker 1: of gas. Not a care in the world. We'll just
- 2:33Speaker 1: call my dad. My dad will call his friend, his
- 2:35Speaker 1: friend will come give us gas, and we're back on
- 2:37Speaker 1: the road. That's simple. You ever ran out of gas.
- 2:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you a story about running out of
- 2:45Speaker 1: gas when I was a kid, because I was a
- 2:47Speaker 1: dumb kid, just like them. I was at a gas
- 2:51Speaker 1: station and I don't know how long ago it was,
- 2:55Speaker 1: but there was a six point nine earthquake in San
- 2:57Speaker 1: Francisco or something. It was huge earthquake in San Francisco
- 3:01Speaker 1: during the World Series, and me and my buddy, we
- 3:05Speaker 1: were at home and we were heading out to the
- 3:07Speaker 1: BMX track. We were gonna go racing that night. And
- 3:10Speaker 1: but I had enough gas to get there and enough
- 3:13Speaker 1: gas to get to San Jose to the racetrack. The
- 3:16Speaker 1: earthquake hit while we were in uh in Morgan Hill,
- 3:22Speaker 1: and so the gas station, the gas pumps didn't work,
- 3:26Speaker 1: so they we didn't care. We had enough gas to
- 3:30Speaker 1: get there. We'll just get gas. When we get after
- 3:33Speaker 1: we race, you know, no big deal. Well, huge earthquake hit.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Next thing you know, we didn't know it was a
- 3:39Speaker 1: big earthquake. Next thing you know, we're in San Jose.
- 3:41Speaker 1: We're out of gas. Everything shut down. We have no
- 3:44Speaker 1: gas to get home, no way to get back. So
- 3:48Speaker 1: we were stuck in San Jose for hours and hours.
- 3:51Speaker 1: It was a ridiculous while, but that's how stupid we
- 3:56Speaker 1: are as kids. Did you ever run out of gas?
- 3:59Speaker 1: What happened? What happened when you ran out of gas?
- 4:01Speaker 1: Does it still happen nowadays? Your cars get tell you
- 4:04Speaker 1: how many miles you got, so I don't know anybody
- 4:07Speaker 1: runs out of gas anymore. When's the last time you
- 4:11Speaker 1: ran out of gas? When's the last time you ran
- 4:13Speaker 1: out of gas? What happened? Already? Four two four seven seven.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Like I said, I don't even know if people run
- 4:19Speaker 1: out of gas anymore because of the fact that your
- 4:21Speaker 1: car tells you exactly right how many miles you got left,
- 4:23Speaker 1: So nobody should ever run out of gas already? Four
- 4:26Speaker 1: two five four seven seven year old room. I used
- 4:30Speaker 1: to have an old Chevy pickup with a gas gauge.
- 4:33Speaker 1: One time I broke down at the seven to eleven
- 4:37Speaker 1: at brim Hall and call Away, and I thought I
- 4:41Speaker 1: was I thought my car broke down. So I called
- 4:44Speaker 1: my buddy to come pick me up. We took it
- 4:47Speaker 1: back to my house and I had my mechanic come
- 4:50Speaker 1: by and check it out. Turns out my gas gauge
- 4:54Speaker 1: was stuck, so my car there was nothing wrong with
- 4:57Speaker 1: my pickup. My truck had just a stuck gas gage.
- 5:02Speaker 1: I was out of gas. My mechanics figure that out.
- 5:05Speaker 1: What's funny is I ran out of gas at the
- 5:07Speaker 1: gas station. Yeah, that is funny. What's going on?
- 5:13Speaker 3: What's up?
- 5:14Speaker 4: Romeos?
- 5:15Speaker 2: Crazy?
- 5:16Speaker 4: Talking about running out of gas?
- 5:18Speaker 1: Of course you ran out of gas when.
- 5:20Speaker 5: No, I didn't run out of gas.
- 5:22Speaker 4: So it was my first time driving this vehicle.
- 5:27Speaker 3: But it was a Tesla, right, and we were driving back.
- 5:32Speaker 4: We were in La and uh, my friend was like,
- 5:36Speaker 4: can you drive back, bro, I've been drinking. I'm like,
- 5:39Speaker 4: I'm cool, I'll drive it. I thought it was you know,
- 5:43Speaker 4: his phone percentage and he was knocked out, and you know,
- 5:46Speaker 4: there was two more guys in the back.
- 5:48Speaker 3: He's just killing.
- 5:51Speaker 6: And I'm like, all right, his phones about to die.
- 5:57Speaker 4: Right before we go up the grave line.
- 6:01Speaker 5: I was like, what the hell.
- 6:04Speaker 1: You really are an idiot?
- 6:06Speaker 3: I thought it was, and I was like whatever, not
- 6:15Speaker 3: really paying attention.
- 6:16Speaker 6: I was just not trying not to crash the Tesla.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Man, you ran You never run out of gas, You
- 6:21Speaker 1: ran electricity, electricity exactly. I guess I better reevaluate when
- 6:28Speaker 1: we're talking about running out of gas, right, Sea Hawk
- 6:30Speaker 1: Glue ran out of electricity? How do you remember of electricity? Already?
- 6:35Speaker 1: Fourteen seven to seven? What's the last time you ran
- 6:39Speaker 1: out of gas or electricity? Hey, good morning Romeo. I
- 6:43Speaker 1: got an electric car last year in hopes i'd stop
- 6:48Speaker 1: running out of gas. Turns out now I just run
- 6:50Speaker 1: out of battery. Well, I mean, yeah, it happens, right,
- 7:00Speaker 1: you just I don't know anything about the electric cars.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I don't know how I would assume based on what
- 7:09Speaker 1: I've heard about them. They let you know. I mean,
- 7:12Speaker 1: it's not like it's not like it's hard to know
- 7:15Speaker 1: you're running out of battery, right, I thought they actually
- 7:18Speaker 1: told you where the next stop was to get your
- 7:20Speaker 1: charge and all that. I don't know a lot about them,
- 7:22Speaker 1: but I was always told it was hard to run
- 7:24Speaker 1: out of electricity. But okay, already four two four or
- 7:28Speaker 1: seven seven, Like I said, when's the last time you
- 7:30Speaker 1: ran out of gas? Or does it not even happen anymore?
- 7:33Speaker 1: I mean nowadays, like I said, they tell you the
- 7:36Speaker 1: electric cars tell you what percentage. I think they even
- 7:38Speaker 1: tell you where the next charging station is. I mean,
- 7:42Speaker 1: cars nowadays tell you exactly how many miles you have left.
- 7:46Speaker 1: So maybe people don't run out of gas anymore. Hey, Rome,
- 7:50Speaker 1: Luckily it's been at least five years. I bought a
- 7:53Speaker 1: giant SUV katiea Dnali. I am famous for testing my
- 7:59Speaker 1: gas like only only in a giant vehicle like that.
- 8:03Speaker 1: I don't know what. I don't know that when it
- 8:06Speaker 1: said three miles, it meant three mile. Then I went
- 8:11Speaker 1: about three blocks to fill the gas can. I ended
- 8:14Speaker 1: up having to go three times for it to even start.
- 8:18Speaker 1: I learned my lesson after that, and then when I
- 8:21Speaker 1: sold it, I definitely went back down to a compact car. Well,
- 8:29Speaker 1: I mean, that's the thing. These cars will tell you
- 8:31Speaker 1: exactly how many miles you have left, right, I mean
- 8:35Speaker 1: I think I think my car now, I think my
- 8:38Speaker 1: truck at thirty five miles or I guess it doesn't
- 8:42Speaker 1: tell you exactly because I guess that at thirty miles
- 8:45Speaker 1: or thirty five miles, it says low. So once it
- 8:49Speaker 1: hits low, you got under thirty miles or thirty something
- 8:51Speaker 1: miles to go. So I mean, yeah, back of the
- 8:55Speaker 1: old days, when you had a gas gauge man, when
- 8:59Speaker 1: you had a gas came, you were screwed because you
- 9:01Speaker 1: never knew yo rom I ain't never ran out of gas,
- 9:05Speaker 1: and this story isn't really relevant to running out of gas,
- 9:09Speaker 1: but putting gas. I was at a gas station. Some
- 9:12Speaker 1: very attractive lady is in a big diesel truck, maybe
- 9:17Speaker 1: twenty five hundred or something. I see she pumped the
- 9:20Speaker 1: gas in the tank. I went up to her and
- 9:23Speaker 1: said excuse me. She immediately said I'm married. I said, oh,
- 9:26Speaker 1: that's fine, and then she cut me off and said,
- 9:30Speaker 1: please just walk away. So I did. I wonder how
- 9:34Speaker 1: it went with a full tank of gas. Oh, she
- 9:37Speaker 1: put gas in her diesel. Yeah. Women do that. Yeah,
- 9:40Speaker 1: they tend to do that a lot more than men.
- 9:42Speaker 1: They put Yeah. Yeah, that's not the first time I've
- 9:46Speaker 1: heard of a woman putting regular gas in a diesel truck.
- 9:51Speaker 1: I wonder how that did work out for we could go,
- 9:55Speaker 1: we could have we could we could do a whole show.
- 9:58Speaker 1: We could do a week of shows talk about what
- 10:00Speaker 1: happened at a gas station. People always got a story
- 10:04Speaker 1: about being at a gas station. We were talking about
- 10:06Speaker 1: running out of gas. A buddy of mine's kid ran
- 10:10Speaker 1: out of gas and I had to just outside of
- 10:12Speaker 1: the back up there. They were going to Magic Mountain,
- 10:14Speaker 1: him and his friends, and so I had to run
- 10:16Speaker 1: up there give him some gas, and these dummies just
- 10:18Speaker 1: went on their way. But how do you run out
- 10:22Speaker 1: of gas? Nowadays? These cars are so electricity, I guess
- 10:25Speaker 1: now we've got to talk about electricity also, So I mean,
- 10:29Speaker 1: I don't even know how that's possible to run out
- 10:32Speaker 1: of gas. Nowadays, your cars tell you when you need
- 10:35Speaker 1: to fill up, how many miles you got left. I'm
- 10:37Speaker 1: sure those whatever the electric cars are, I don't know
- 10:39Speaker 1: much about them, but I'm sure they're even more specific
- 10:42Speaker 1: on how much energy you have left to go? Right,
- 10:44Speaker 1: So how would you run out already? Four to four
- 10:48Speaker 1: seven seven yo Romeo. I've never run out of gas
- 10:52Speaker 1: because I like to keep my gas tank full. I
- 10:56Speaker 1: don't let it go below half a tank before I
- 10:59Speaker 1: gas up. But my wife who always runs out of
- 11:04Speaker 1: gas because she doesn't pay attention and doesn't care. Has
- 11:08Speaker 1: taught my daughter the same thing, rome. So now I
- 11:12Speaker 1: got two people in my house that any moment, any day,
- 11:16Speaker 1: I could get a phone call that they ran out
- 11:18Speaker 1: of gas. I have to stay ready, Romeo. It never fails. Well,
- 11:24Speaker 1: I mean, you're the man of the house. What are
- 11:28Speaker 1: you gonna do already? Four two pot four or seven
- 11:31Speaker 1: to seven?
- 11:32Speaker 6: Yo?
- 11:32Speaker 1: Rome, I didn't run out of gas, but I good.
- 11:34Speaker 1: I tell you a story about being at the gas
- 11:36Speaker 1: station yesterday. I pulled up to the gas pump. Somebody
- 11:40Speaker 1: put a dollar sixteen. That is what was on the
- 11:45Speaker 1: pump when I rolled up to it. I don't even
- 11:48Speaker 1: know what a dollar sixteen gets you nowadays. Yeah, dollar
- 11:53Speaker 1: sixteen is not a lot, all right. I gotta tell
- 11:59Speaker 1: you this is what happened to me before. This is creepy.
- 12:03Speaker 1: So I was just a couple hours ago. It was
- 12:06Speaker 1: about three thirty in the morning, maybe three ish, and
- 12:13Speaker 1: I was laying I was having this dream that I
- 12:15Speaker 1: was in some sort of meeting, like I don't know
- 12:18Speaker 1: if it was anyway. I was having this dream that
- 12:22Speaker 1: I was with all these people listening to somebody talking.
- 12:24Speaker 1: We were in rows of chairs, right, and I was
- 12:29Speaker 1: messing around on my phone and somebody was rubbing my back,
- 12:34Speaker 1: like you know, massaging my back, kind of softly massaging,
- 12:38Speaker 1: and I could literally feel it like I felt it,
- 12:43Speaker 1: and it was a dream. So I woke up and
- 12:46Speaker 1: I was like, oh my god, my back feels pretty good.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I was. It was pretty creepy, like I could. I
- 12:54Speaker 1: don't know how to say it. Whatever was going on
- 12:57Speaker 1: in my dream I could feel in real life, I guess.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Is that the way I put it. I mean, it's
- 13:04Speaker 1: all real life, but it was. I've never experienced anything
- 13:08Speaker 1: like that before. Never. I mean I've had some dreams
- 13:10Speaker 1: that seemed real right you wake up, but nothing that
- 13:15Speaker 1: actually had a sensor, a sense to it, a sensory
- 13:20Speaker 1: How do you guys say? How would I say it?
- 13:21Speaker 1: I don't know. It was kind of creepy. I mean,
- 13:23Speaker 1: it wasn't scary, because it wasn't anything scary in the dream.
- 13:26Speaker 1: It was just a bunch of people. We were, you know,
- 13:29Speaker 1: doing something, and for some reason the person behind me
- 13:32Speaker 1: was rubbing my back and I could feel it. I
- 13:36Speaker 1: could feel it, and I woke up and I was like,
- 13:39Speaker 1: oh my god, I felt that like it was really
- 13:41Speaker 1: like it was really happening to me, not in my dream,
- 13:46Speaker 1: but really happened to me. Does that it makes sense.
- 13:49Speaker 1: It's kind of creepy, huh not already? Four two five, four,
- 13:52Speaker 1: seven to seven. Yeah, it was weird. Oh all right, roam.
- 13:55Speaker 1: There was this one time when I was asleep, but
- 13:57Speaker 1: my girl was up and she said, at one point
- 13:59Speaker 1: I put my arms heard up in the air pointing
- 14:01Speaker 1: at something while I was asleep. She freaked out, went
- 14:04Speaker 1: to uh, freaked out and went to bed. Also took video.
- 14:07Speaker 1: It looked pretty freaky. Wow, that's crazy, man. Yeah, I
- 14:11Speaker 1: don't know, you know, I don't know what it was.
- 14:15Speaker 1: I mean, I I think it's pretty common people have
- 14:17Speaker 1: had this happen to them, where they feel like something's
- 14:19Speaker 1: on top of them and they can't move. But a
- 14:21Speaker 1: lot of people that have told me the stories about
- 14:23Speaker 1: that before. I think you said you were you were
- 14:26Speaker 1: awake when it happened, and I can remember correctly, I
- 14:30Speaker 1: get I remember specifically I was in a dream when
- 14:33Speaker 1: it happened, and it wasn't I wasn't afraid of it.
- 14:38Speaker 1: I just thought it was kind of weird that I
- 14:40Speaker 1: couldn't yell and when I yelled. That's what I and
- 14:43Speaker 1: I heard the yelling clearly in my ears, like like
- 14:46Speaker 1: I was yelling in my dream, but I heard it
- 14:49Speaker 1: in reality. That was the weird part about it. Good morning, How.
- 14:53Speaker 6: What's going on, big boy?
- 14:58Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 14:58Speaker 5: I just want to know what you're drinking, bro, I
- 15:00Speaker 5: want some of that. I wasn't drinking anything, dude, because man,
- 15:06Speaker 5: I swear we did the same.
- 15:07Speaker 6: Thing at the bar.
- 15:09Speaker 3: Nothing.
- 15:10Speaker 1: I wasn't drinking nothing. It was weird, man, It was
- 15:12Speaker 1: the weirdest thing. It was weird.
- 15:16Speaker 5: Man, you have a hard weekend. What's going on?
- 15:19Speaker 1: Nothing? I don't know what. I was honest with you,
- 15:22Speaker 1: no idea. I didn't do anything. Joe rom you had
- 15:32Speaker 1: sleep paralysis. I mean I've heard about it. You guys
- 15:36Speaker 1: have talked about that before. I mean we've had conversations about,
- 15:39Speaker 1: you know, having those having dreams where you can't move.
- 15:42Speaker 1: You got But I wasn't awake. I don't think it
- 15:45Speaker 1: was a crazy little dream man. It was. It was
- 15:47Speaker 1: interesting to to not be You know what was funny
- 15:54Speaker 1: was it wasn't the not being able to move part
- 15:58Speaker 1: that freaked me out. It was the and it didn't
- 16:01Speaker 1: even freak me out. It was the not being able
- 16:03Speaker 1: to yell. I was trying to say help, and I
- 16:07Speaker 1: went It was that part that was kind of like,
- 16:11Speaker 1: what's going on here? And that was the weird part
- 16:14Speaker 1: to me, not the part that I couldn't move. Talking
- 16:16Speaker 1: in your sleep. We're getting to talking to your sleep
- 16:18Speaker 1: here in just a minute, because there was a story
- 16:20Speaker 1: about this woman who beat up her girlfriend because she
- 16:23Speaker 1: was talking in her sleep about her axe. But I
- 16:26Speaker 1: had this weird dream where I was like, it was
- 16:28Speaker 1: a crazy dream. It was like my grandmother was there
- 16:32Speaker 1: and she was like a person. I could see her
- 16:35Speaker 1: popping in and out of doors and whenever. And then
- 16:37Speaker 1: like my grandfather was holding me down, but it wasn't
- 16:40Speaker 1: my grandfather. It was just some sort of entity or something.
- 16:43Speaker 1: And I was I wasn't scared. I wasn't There was
- 16:50Speaker 1: just no stress or fear or nothing. But what happened
- 16:53Speaker 1: was I couldn't move at one point. Then I thought,
- 16:55Speaker 1: you know what, let me call for help, just so
- 16:57Speaker 1: someone will help me. And I kept saying oh, but
- 17:00Speaker 1: in my in my mind, I'm trying to say help,
- 17:02Speaker 1: but I can only get oh oh. And but the
- 17:05Speaker 1: weird part about it was I was doing it in
- 17:06Speaker 1: my dream, but it was almost like I could hear
- 17:09Speaker 1: it in reality through my you know, my ears, and
- 17:11Speaker 1: I'm like, hey, this is weird. And then I woke
- 17:14Speaker 1: up and I was like, what was that all about?
- 17:16Speaker 1: That was just weird? Good morning? How what's going on? Romeo?
- 17:19Speaker 7: This is greater day?
- 17:19Speaker 4: What up?
- 17:20Speaker 2: Right to day?
- 17:21Speaker 6: Hey?
- 17:21Speaker 1: This?
- 17:21Speaker 8: I got a story about the sleeping Sure, what's up?
- 17:24Speaker 7: So over the weekend, you know, me and my girl
- 17:27Speaker 7: were a partying, just me and her drinking and having
- 17:29Speaker 7: patrolling some modelos. In the next morning, the first thing
- 17:34Speaker 7: she does was she wakes up.
- 17:35Speaker 8: She doesn't, Babe, give me some ice, and I'm thinking
- 17:39Speaker 8: the worst. I'm like, maybe she fell.
- 17:41Speaker 7: Maybe I was too rough with her.
- 17:44Speaker 1: And she's like, I.
- 17:45Speaker 8: Said, why, what's wrong?
- 17:46Speaker 6: What you do?
- 17:47Speaker 8: She says, I was beating some dass in my dream.
- 17:51Speaker 9: She got me.
- 17:52Speaker 8: She got me, Romeo. I was all concerned, and she's like,
- 17:55Speaker 8: I would in her hand.
- 17:56Speaker 10: Did look like it was, you know, red?
- 17:58Speaker 1: Oh my god, I don't know.
- 18:00Speaker 8: I don't know how to explain that one. I was like, okay, well,
- 18:03Speaker 8: put a cand put I gave her some prosen stuff
- 18:06Speaker 8: to put on her hands.
- 18:07Speaker 1: That's weird.
- 18:08Speaker 8: Well, yeah, it was weird, though, but she said she
- 18:10Speaker 8: was fighting in her dream and she woke.
- 18:11Speaker 7: Up in her.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Typical raider fan. All right, so this whole sleep thing, right,
- 18:19Speaker 1: I was screaming in my sleep or yelling in my
- 18:22Speaker 1: sleep in my dream, and I think I was yelling outside.
- 18:25Speaker 1: I think you could hear it. But my uh my,
- 18:31Speaker 1: my chick didn't wake me up, didn't do nothing. So
- 18:34Speaker 1: maybe I maybe I was just I don't know. It
- 18:36Speaker 1: was weird. It was weird. I don't know. Talking in
- 18:39Speaker 1: your sleep. I remember the story of this girl got
- 18:41Speaker 1: beat up or something for talking in her sleep about
- 18:43Speaker 1: her ex or something like that. Talking in your sleep? Though,
- 18:47Speaker 1: Have you ever slept with somebody. I've been sleeping with
- 18:49Speaker 1: somebody and they started making noises or talking in their sleep,
- 18:52Speaker 1: and don't you wake them up? She isn't that the
- 18:53Speaker 1: first thing you should do? I mean, what, what? What?
- 18:58Speaker 1: What do you do? Already? Four to Bob for seven
- 19:00Speaker 1: and seven A Romeo happens to me all the time,
- 19:02Speaker 1: so I'm used to it. I just turn around and
- 19:04Speaker 1: go back to sleep. It's been happening since I was
- 19:06Speaker 1: a teenager. Wow, what's going on?
- 19:09Speaker 5: Morning morning Romeo?
- 19:10Speaker 6: Right around here?
- 19:11Speaker 5: What's going on, Red Rob, Hey man, that's the same
- 19:14Speaker 5: thing I'd be going through. But the thing is, though,
- 19:17Speaker 5: the only reason why that happens to me is because
- 19:19Speaker 5: I'm you know, I'm focused on something, I'm doing it,
- 19:21Speaker 5: and then when I go to bed, I try to
- 19:23Speaker 5: shut everything down and I can't happen. And I noticed
- 19:26Speaker 5: too that when I overeat at night sheeese, I open
- 19:30Speaker 5: up four and pass all kinds of weird dreams.
- 19:34Speaker 1: It's crazy.
- 19:35Speaker 9: See.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Now, I have heard of people having anxiety when they overeat,
- 19:40Speaker 1: but I've never yeah, I've never. And I've heard people
- 19:45Speaker 1: say that they can't move in their dreams or they
- 19:49Speaker 1: can't move and they wake up and they can't move,
- 19:50Speaker 1: but I've never had that happen before. It was just weird.
- 19:53Speaker 5: Yeah, that's happened to me a couple of times. And
- 19:55Speaker 5: I remember the reasons for all that is because back then,
- 20:00Speaker 5: in a stressful relationship, you know, we was always tounching
- 20:03Speaker 5: each other in our sheep supposedly really Yeah, it was
- 20:06Speaker 5: crazy because we'd go to bed mad and then we
- 20:09Speaker 5: just like we'd forget about everything, but in our minds
- 20:12Speaker 5: we were still mad. So we I feel myself moving
- 20:15Speaker 5: and jumping, jerking, getting choked, getting punched.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Yeah, Ray, Rob, you Raider fans even fight in your sleep.
- 20:22Speaker 5: I'm telling you. Don't fight everybody. I think it's not
- 20:25Speaker 5: from access me.
- 20:27Speaker 1: That's awesome. I had this crazy dream where like I
- 20:33Speaker 1: was being held down and I was trying to scream
- 20:36Speaker 1: for help. But it wasn't like out of fear. It wasn't.
- 20:38Speaker 1: It was just help, right, And it says coming out
- 20:41Speaker 1: as help. I'm like, huh h, and but I could
- 20:45Speaker 1: hear myself saying it in the dream, but then it
- 20:47Speaker 1: felt like I was hearing it in reality, that makes
- 20:50Speaker 1: any sense. And then I just woke up because I
- 20:53Speaker 1: thought that was weird already four two five, four or
- 20:55Speaker 1: seven and seven it's going on, Yeah, what's up?
- 21:00Speaker 11: Why are you telling you regards to your dreams?
- 21:02Speaker 12: Oh, so I was remembering that, like so a couple
- 21:07Speaker 12: of years ago, I'm going to say, like ten years ago,
- 21:08Speaker 12: when me and my husband first you know, were together
- 21:11Speaker 12: and we have moved in together.
- 21:14Speaker 11: He would have those dreams a lot where like he
- 21:15Speaker 11: will talk about that he couldn't like wake up, that
- 21:18Speaker 11: he was like not moving and it would happen all
- 21:21Speaker 11: the time. And I remember taking a course on like
- 21:24Speaker 11: the state of mind and like the subconsciousness stuff like that, okay,
- 21:28Speaker 11: and it talks about like when you're about to sleep,
- 21:31Speaker 11: there's like different stages of how your like body and
- 21:34Speaker 11: mind like shut off and stuff. And it talks about
- 21:37Speaker 11: like that when you're like when you're having all the
- 21:39Speaker 11: stressful days, so there's like a lot going on. Your
- 21:43Speaker 11: body is like physically tired, and but your mind is
- 21:46Speaker 11: still going. So at some point when you're about to sleep,
- 21:49Speaker 11: your body's out, but your mind is still going. So
- 21:52Speaker 11: like we're like reality and like what's not real kind
- 21:56Speaker 11: of get like into like you know they make Yeah,
- 22:00Speaker 11: and that's how people start getting those dreams. When my
- 22:03Speaker 11: husband was having those dreams, he were he was working
- 22:06Speaker 11: like a warehouse, did you know where. He was sad
- 22:08Speaker 11: and he was always tired. So when he came home
- 22:11Speaker 11: he would like knock out, but he would like his
- 22:14Speaker 11: mind was so fine because he had so much like
- 22:16Speaker 11: things to do with the the next day. And so
- 22:19Speaker 11: I think, I think that's what's going on. Like there's
- 22:21Speaker 11: probably you know, like these going on the mind and
- 22:24Speaker 11: then the body just like you know what, I'm just.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Out, gotcha. That would make some sense. I was exhausted
- 22:29Speaker 1: at that also, so maybe you're right. You might be
- 22:32Speaker 1: right about that. All right, Hey, thanks for calling.
- 22:35Speaker 11: Okay, we'll have a good day.
- 22:36Speaker 1: He too, I mean I was exhausted a room. Sounds
- 22:40Speaker 1: like you were getting a long time A long time coming.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Ask whooping from your grandparents. No, my grandparents would have
- 22:48Speaker 1: never whoop my ass. I was the best grandchild ever.
- 22:51Speaker 1: They loved me to death already fourteen five four seven
- 22:55Speaker 1: the seven your rome. I have a question for you
- 22:58Speaker 1: about tipping. I just found out that I was looking
- 23:01Speaker 1: at their steep from last night. My wife and I
- 23:03Speaker 1: went out with some friends to a restaurant and we
- 23:05Speaker 1: got a separate bill. When I paid the bill, I
- 23:09Speaker 1: left the tip. When I got home. I actually was
- 23:12Speaker 1: looking at the bill and I saw that the tip
- 23:15Speaker 1: was already included, and the waitress didn't tell me that,
- 23:19Speaker 1: so I ended twice. Don't you think that's a scam? Room.
- 23:24Speaker 1: I don't know what to do about it. I think
- 23:25Speaker 1: I should go back to the restaurant and try to
- 23:28Speaker 1: get my money back from the tip. No, I mean,
- 23:34Speaker 1: I don't think it's a scam. I'm gonna guess this
- 23:35Speaker 1: is what I'm gonna guess happen just based on what
- 23:37Speaker 1: you said. You said you went out with some friends
- 23:41Speaker 1: the and the tip was already on the bill. I
- 23:44Speaker 1: don't think it was a scam. What I think it
- 23:47Speaker 1: was was you probably had most restaurants anybody over, what
- 23:51Speaker 1: is it six people? I believe, I think it's six
- 23:54Speaker 1: people at the table. Then they automatically include the tip
- 23:57Speaker 1: to the bill. So I'm gonna guess that's what happened.
- 24:03Speaker 1: And that's pretty standard, pretty common practice nowadays at a restaurant.
- 24:07Speaker 1: After a certain amount of people, they add the tip
- 24:10Speaker 1: to the bill, which I don't have a problem with,
- 24:12Speaker 1: especially the only reason I have a problem with it
- 24:14Speaker 1: only happened to me one time. But this was years ago,
- 24:17Speaker 1: where they added the tip to the bill because we
- 24:19Speaker 1: had a big party and the service was awful because
- 24:22Speaker 1: they knew they were already getting their tip. Now, I've
- 24:24Speaker 1: never had that happen before. It only happened one time.
- 24:27Speaker 1: But I don't think it's a scam. I think it's
- 24:32Speaker 1: just that that policy and if your service was good,
- 24:35Speaker 1: but the problem is not the restaurant, it's you. You
- 24:41Speaker 1: should have paid attention that the tip. I know what
- 24:44Speaker 1: you're thinking right, it's only the two of the bill
- 24:47Speaker 1: is just you and your wife, So why would you
- 24:50Speaker 1: why would they add the tip? But you were in
- 24:52Speaker 1: a big party, I'm guessing because you said you went
- 24:54Speaker 1: out with friends, so your party probably exceeded whatever number
- 24:57Speaker 1: of the restaurant has to put the tip directly on
- 25:01Speaker 1: the bill, and you know you just didn't pay attention
- 25:04Speaker 1: to the bill till today. So no, I don't I
- 25:06Speaker 1: don't think you should get your money back. I don't
- 25:08Speaker 1: think you should go to the restaurant. I don't think
- 25:10Speaker 1: you should chalk it up as as them trying to
- 25:15Speaker 1: scam you. I think you just gotta take the l
- 25:17Speaker 1: on that one. You didn't pay attention to what was
- 25:20Speaker 1: going on. You pay you added another tip thinking you
- 25:23Speaker 1: know it is what it is. You should have read
- 25:26Speaker 1: the bill right, and that's what it is, though, But
- 25:30Speaker 1: I don't think that. I don't think they were trying
- 25:32Speaker 1: to scam you by any means. What was the what
- 25:35Speaker 1: was the tip? I'm gonna guess by the way that
- 25:37Speaker 1: whatever percentage they were adding to your bill as a
- 25:42Speaker 1: tip is probably less than what you were really going
- 25:44Speaker 1: to give them if they hadn't added that. I'm just guessing. So, yeah,
- 25:50Speaker 1: that's probably what happened. So a guy he texted me
- 25:52Speaker 1: and I guess he was out with his wife and
- 25:54Speaker 1: some prints last night. He said he didn't realize he
- 25:58Speaker 1: double tipped, and and what I think happened. And I'm
- 26:01Speaker 1: just going off what he's saying. I'm assuming what happened.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Most restaurants, anything over a certain amount of people, they
- 26:09Speaker 1: will include the tip, which is fine, that's their policy.
- 26:13Speaker 1: There's nothing really wrong with that. But he ended up
- 26:16Speaker 1: tipping again and then he saw it. He said he
- 26:20Speaker 1: saw it the next day, he saw the bill which
- 26:22Speaker 1: had the tip already included, and then he added a tip,
- 26:25Speaker 1: and he thought he was getting scammed. And I don't
- 26:28Speaker 1: think it's a scam. I think you just weren't paying attention.
- 26:30Speaker 1: You got to pay attention to your bill. Okay, he
- 26:32Speaker 1: wasn't paying attention to his bill. And apparently I'm going
- 26:36Speaker 1: to guess there was more than probably six people at
- 26:38Speaker 1: his table, or six or more people. That's usually what
- 26:40Speaker 1: the common practice is. And I don't think they were
- 26:44Speaker 1: scamming you. I think you just didn't pay attention to
- 26:46Speaker 1: your bill that the tip was already included. So it
- 26:50Speaker 1: is what it is man chalking up as Hey, I
- 26:52Speaker 1: pay attention to your bill next time. Already for seven
- 26:55Speaker 1: seven year Rome. You were talking about the tipping. You
- 26:59Speaker 1: don't think that it's unreasonable for restaurants to add of
- 27:03Speaker 1: the tip to the bill after a certain amount of people.
- 27:07Speaker 1: I don't think that's unreasonable. I think it's bs if
- 27:11Speaker 1: they don't give you good service because they know they're
- 27:14Speaker 1: already getting a tip. And to be perfectly honest with you,
- 27:17Speaker 1: most of the places that i've seen that do that,
- 27:21Speaker 1: or the places that i've been that do that, the
- 27:24Speaker 1: percentage that they're asking or the percentage that they add
- 27:28Speaker 1: on to me is not even really enough for a tip,
- 27:34Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. But you got to do something.
- 27:36Speaker 1: I mean, it gets big tables or a pain in
- 27:40Speaker 1: the ass. Man, when you go out with a group
- 27:42Speaker 1: of people, I feel kind of bad. I don't like
- 27:45Speaker 1: going out with large groups of people because when the
- 27:49Speaker 1: bill comes, it's a pain in the ass. And ray
- 27:51Speaker 1: to robbal though he's probably listening, he goes out with
- 27:53Speaker 1: a huge family every I think they go out to
- 27:55Speaker 1: breakfast every Sunday or whatever, and I don't know how
- 27:58Speaker 1: they deal with their bill. But he'll tell us. But
- 28:03Speaker 1: it gets to be a painting. I don't like going
- 28:04Speaker 1: out with more than two people because it turns into
- 28:09Speaker 1: just a headache, you know, with the bill. Oh, we'll
- 28:12Speaker 1: take separate bills. I think nowadays, with these electronic electronic
- 28:17Speaker 1: devices that they use for calculating your bill, I think
- 28:20Speaker 1: it's easier for the waitress or waitress or the weight
- 28:23Speaker 1: staff to deal with it. But as a customer with
- 28:27Speaker 1: a large group, everybody wants to. I mean, it's just
- 28:31Speaker 1: a pain in the add How much did you spend?
- 28:33Speaker 1: How much did I spend? How are we splitting the
- 28:35Speaker 1: bill equally or do we do? I mean, it's just
- 28:37Speaker 1: you know why I didn't order this and I didn't
- 28:39Speaker 1: order that. I didn't order that much. He ordered way
- 28:41Speaker 1: more than me, so you know, it just gets to
- 28:44Speaker 1: be monotonous and it gets to be a headache. So
- 28:48Speaker 1: I can understand why a waiter or a weight staff
- 28:51Speaker 1: would want to add the percentage to a bill for
- 28:53Speaker 1: large parties. I don't even like dealing with large parties.
- 28:56Speaker 1: I don't know how you guys split up. I will
- 28:58Speaker 1: find out what Rayder Rob does. But sometimes it's easier
- 29:01Speaker 1: just to pay for everything. Just to get out of
- 29:03Speaker 1: there and not deal with it. But you know, not
- 29:06Speaker 1: everybody can afford it. I can't afford it. So a
- 29:08Speaker 1: guy he had sent me a text message saying he
- 29:10Speaker 1: was out last night with his wife and some friends
- 29:13Speaker 1: and apparently they got a bill just him and his wife. Well,
- 29:16Speaker 1: he didn't realize that there was the tip was already added,
- 29:20Speaker 1: so he tipped again, and he thought maybe he was
- 29:23Speaker 1: getting scammed. I don't think you were getting scammed by
- 29:25Speaker 1: the restaurant. I think you didn't pay attention to your bill.
- 29:28Speaker 1: So what I think happened is there was probably more
- 29:30Speaker 1: than whatever number the restaurant says you have to have
- 29:35Speaker 1: to already add the tip. You just didn't pay attention,
- 29:38Speaker 1: So I don't I don't think it's a scam, but
- 29:40Speaker 1: you know, dealing with the bills is ridiculous when you
- 29:43Speaker 1: go out with multiple people a four two, five four
- 29:46Speaker 1: or seven to seven eight Good morning Rome. Always look
- 29:49Speaker 1: at your receipt to verify everything. The only thing I
- 29:52Speaker 1: don't like is the kioks you pay through want you
- 29:56Speaker 1: to tip on top of taxes added, example, one hundred dollars.
- 30:00Speaker 1: You know Kiosk will do twenty percent tip on after taxes,
- 30:06Speaker 1: generating extra dollars sixty five? Do you have to do
- 30:09Speaker 1: they a kiosk makes you tip? Why don't you just
- 30:14Speaker 1: deny the tip? Or is that I never seen that before.
- 30:17Speaker 1: I don't go to places. It's very rare that I've
- 30:20Speaker 1: ever gone to a place where you get where you
- 30:24Speaker 1: order it a kiosk, So I don't know they automatically
- 30:27Speaker 1: put the tip in there. I've never seen that before.
- 30:29Speaker 1: You're gonna have to explain that one a little more
- 30:31Speaker 1: already four two five, four or seven to seven. So
- 30:34Speaker 1: how do you deal with a bill with multiple people
- 30:37Speaker 1: are tipping? I don't know. A guy was telling me.
- 30:39Speaker 1: He just texted me and he said he went out
- 30:41Speaker 1: with his wife last night, was from friends, and when
- 30:43Speaker 1: he looked at the receipt the next day for his bill,
- 30:46Speaker 1: I guess he had tipped. But then he didn't realize
- 30:49Speaker 1: that they had already put the tip included the tip
- 30:52Speaker 1: in his bill. So he thought maybe that he was
- 30:55Speaker 1: getting scammed. And I don't think he was getting scammed.
- 30:57Speaker 1: What I think happened was he there was probably more
- 31:02Speaker 1: it's usually six people. He's probably more than six people
- 31:04Speaker 1: at the table. Even though him and his wife got
- 31:06Speaker 1: his own bill. You're still you're still a bigger party.
- 31:10Speaker 1: So they added the tip to your bill. I don't
- 31:12Speaker 1: think there's anything wrong with that. If that's what they
- 31:14Speaker 1: tell you they're going to do, then you can make
- 31:15Speaker 1: the decision on whether you're going to be there or
- 31:17Speaker 1: not stay. So he paid, didn't pay attention, and that's
- 31:24Speaker 1: that you know already fourteen five, four or seven to seven. Hey, Rome,
- 31:30Speaker 1: what you're saying doesn't make any sense. If him and
- 31:33Speaker 1: his wife, who were two people, got their own bill,
- 31:37Speaker 1: why would they put the tip in? It wasn't more
- 31:40Speaker 1: than six. As you said, Well, look if you have
- 31:47Speaker 1: a party of That's why I said I hate going
- 31:49Speaker 1: out with multiple people to paying the bill, because some
- 31:54Speaker 1: people want to get their own bill. Some people want
- 31:57Speaker 1: to get there, you know, want to split it equally.
- 31:59Speaker 1: Some people want to calculate exactly how much they spent
- 32:03Speaker 1: versus you know, how much they ate and what their
- 32:05Speaker 1: bill is. And then so anyway back to your question,
- 32:09Speaker 1: you don't get it because even if you have more
- 32:13Speaker 1: than six people, and I'm just using that as the
- 32:16Speaker 1: bar of when they include the tip at the restaurant,
- 32:19Speaker 1: a party's over six. Even if you have six or
- 32:22Speaker 1: more people and everybody gets a separate bill. It's still
- 32:25Speaker 1: a table of six, you know, So you got to
- 32:29Speaker 1: understand that eight four two five four or seven to seven. Hey, roam.
- 32:34Speaker 1: What I hate is when we all go out as
- 32:36Speaker 1: a big family, as a party, the people that only
- 32:39Speaker 1: want to pay for what they they got, but they
- 32:43Speaker 1: don't include the tip in that. Oh yeah, that happens.
- 32:47Speaker 1: So when it comes to going out and eating in
- 32:50Speaker 1: large groups with low with large groups of people, right,
- 32:52Speaker 1: they add a tip, which is no big deal. But
- 32:54Speaker 1: you got to pay attention to Some guy thought he
- 32:56Speaker 1: got scammed because he went out with a large group.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Him and his wife got their own bill, got looked
- 33:00Speaker 1: at the bill and saw that the tip was already added,
- 33:03Speaker 1: and he tipped again with that. But that's on you
- 33:05Speaker 1: for not paying attention. All right, good morning, hop it's
- 33:08Speaker 1: going on?
- 33:08Speaker 4: What's the seahawk glue?
- 33:10Speaker 1: Man?
- 33:12Speaker 3: Hey Rome?
- 33:13Speaker 6: So one way I avoid that auto tipping thing is
- 33:21Speaker 6: is that as.
- 33:22Speaker 4: Soon as I get there, I tell them we're all
- 33:24Speaker 4: paying separate bills. So whenever you get your bill, you
- 33:28Speaker 4: don't get auto tipped.
- 33:29Speaker 9: You know what I mean?
- 33:30Speaker 1: What do you mean auto tip? What do you mean,
- 33:32Speaker 1: do you mean if if there's more than whatever number
- 33:35Speaker 1: of people at the table.
- 33:37Speaker 4: Yeah, so say it's six of us, there's gonna be
- 33:40Speaker 4: Oh those two people are paying for themselves. Us to
- 33:43Speaker 4: paying for ourselves, And so when the bill.
- 33:46Speaker 6: Comes for only me and another person, I don't get
- 33:50Speaker 6: that trip automatically just because the party's more than tricks.
- 33:55Speaker 1: Oh, I don't know where that where you're getting away
- 33:57Speaker 1: with that at. But I've never seen that happen.
- 33:59Speaker 10: But okay, yeah, no, that's.
- 34:01Speaker 4: A better way to get away with that.
- 34:02Speaker 6: And then you tip them accordingly whether they earned it
- 34:06Speaker 6: or not.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Phil, I'm not arguing with you. I just have never
- 34:09Speaker 1: seen that happen. Every time I've been out and people
- 34:11Speaker 1: have gotten separate bills, they've always added the tip based
- 34:14Speaker 1: on how many people were at the table. So, okay,
- 34:17Speaker 1: I don't know where you're going, but okay, I don't
- 34:20Speaker 1: know where that's happening at all. Right, it for five
- 34:24Speaker 1: for seven seven? Would you send me here?
- 34:28Speaker 5: Rome?
- 34:29Speaker 1: Oh, this is the kiosk right on the one hundred dollars meal.
- 34:31Speaker 1: The kiosk. It gives you an option fifteen, eighteen or
- 34:34Speaker 1: twenty or other. If you click twenty if you click
- 34:38Speaker 1: twenty percent, it has you tip rather than it has
- 34:42Speaker 1: you tip one hundred.
- 34:43Speaker 6: Oh.
- 34:43Speaker 1: I see what you're saying. I see what you're saying.
- 34:47Speaker 1: They're not forcing you to tip. They're just letting giving
- 34:50Speaker 1: you the tip after the taxes. So that adds a
- 34:53Speaker 1: little extra to icye what you're saying now, I thought
- 34:56Speaker 1: you were going to some kiosk where they were forcing
- 34:58Speaker 1: you to tip. Are already adding it on. I see
- 35:03Speaker 1: what you're saying. Alrighty four, two, five, four or seven seven? Yeah,
- 35:06Speaker 1: but you can always do the math yourself, right, Hey,
- 35:09Speaker 1: good morning Rome. Yes, it's true. You usually put it
- 35:13Speaker 1: in front of the restaurant. Uh, they usually put it
- 35:18Speaker 1: in front of the restaurant. We went to clad Addie
- 35:20Speaker 1: Seafood in taff And in small words, it says, if
- 35:25Speaker 1: there's a party of six or more, a tip will
- 35:27Speaker 1: be added at the end of the receipt when pain Yeah,
- 35:30Speaker 1: I don't think there's a problem with that, do you.
- 35:32Speaker 1: I don't think that's an If they put it up
- 35:34Speaker 1: there and you know what you're getting yourself into, then
- 35:36Speaker 1: you get you you know, that's your option to decide
- 35:38Speaker 1: whether you want to go there or not. But you
- 35:41Speaker 1: got to pay attention. I mean you don't want to
- 35:43Speaker 1: double tip.
- 35:43Speaker 2: Right, What my question is what restaurant in wasco I
- 35:49Speaker 2: was more than six people exactly.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I see how Glue doesn't know what the hell
- 35:58Speaker 1: he's talking about. But okay, already for Tuva or seven
- 36:02Speaker 1: to seven when it comes to the bill, right, I
- 36:05Speaker 1: mean you got to pay attention. Good morning, what's going on? Romeo?
- 36:09Speaker 6: Here?
- 36:10Speaker 4: What rom for?
- 36:11Speaker 10: Somebody? Sorry about that you hung up on me? Okay,
- 36:13Speaker 10: but check it out. It's like every time me and
- 36:16Speaker 10: my family, but we do a big breakfast on every
- 36:18Speaker 10: other Sunday. And the thing is with that, you got
- 36:21Speaker 10: to go to places that recognize you. When you start
- 36:23Speaker 10: going to there and you leave tips, gig tips, they
- 36:26Speaker 10: don't put the decruity or what do you call it
- 36:28Speaker 10: on there?
- 36:29Speaker 1: Well you get it. Yeah, yeah, but I noticed.
- 36:31Speaker 10: That you go to the new places, they put the
- 36:33Speaker 10: highest one on you. So it's like twenty percent or
- 36:35Speaker 10: more than that.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean a lot of You're right about that.
- 36:39Speaker 1: You got to go to places. I only go to
- 36:41Speaker 1: places that I know the owners and I know what
- 36:45Speaker 1: what their policies are, and you know, when you go
- 36:47Speaker 1: there regularly, you're absolutely right about that, you know.
- 36:50Speaker 10: So it's just it's just the places you choose, you know,
- 36:54Speaker 10: the ones that respect their customers more, you know, they
- 36:56Speaker 10: don't go for the big kids.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it's you're right, you're right, And Rob,
- 37:02Speaker 1: who pays the bill? Rob? When you guys go on,
- 37:04Speaker 1: everybody splits it.
- 37:06Speaker 10: Yeah, we usually split it sometimes if I'm feeling generous,
- 37:08Speaker 10: it's either me or my uncle.
- 37:09Speaker 5: We'll do it, you know, gotcha, but got there's more
- 37:12Speaker 5: than thirteen people every time we go. So it's it's a.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Big big I can imagine. I can imagine, all right, Rob.
- 37:20Speaker 1: But you know, when you go to places like I
- 37:22Speaker 1: like to, you just got to pay attention to your bill,
- 37:27Speaker 1: you know. And if and if the restaurant has a
- 37:29Speaker 1: policy that you don't like, I'm gonna tell you right now,
- 37:32Speaker 1: there's not a restaurant in town that I know of
- 37:37Speaker 1: that their food is so good it's worth paying some
- 37:40Speaker 1: ridiculous you know, seating fee or some ridiculous whatever. All
- 37:44Speaker 1: the restaurants that I go to, uh, they have pretty
- 37:47Speaker 1: solid business practices, so you don't have to worry about
- 37:49Speaker 1: that nonsense, you know. Oh, it's all, it's all. It's
- 37:53Speaker 1: Valentine's Day, So we got a Valentine's Day charge, or
- 37:56Speaker 1: you gotta we charge you extra for sending in the restaurant,
- 37:58Speaker 1: or rapidityp will have nowadays to try to nickel and
- 38:02Speaker 1: dime you. So yeah, you just got to pay attention
- 38:05Speaker 1: to your bill, alrighty four two four seven seven romeo?
- 38:10Speaker 1: Is it by Is it lawful to pay the tip
- 38:14Speaker 1: on the receipt? Is it unlawful to pay the tip
- 38:17Speaker 1: on the receipt? I don't know. I don't know. I
- 38:20Speaker 1: don't know what it is. I mean, I really don't know,
- 38:23Speaker 1: because I don't deal with stuff like that very much.
- 38:27Speaker 1: I don't All the places I go to in Bakersfield
- 38:29Speaker 1: on a regular basis are like I said, they're just
- 38:33Speaker 1: pretty legitimate there. They're people that live in Bakersfield, they're
- 38:36Speaker 1: local owners. They don't do a bunch of nonsense. So
- 38:38Speaker 1: I don't really know. So I don't really deal with
- 38:42Speaker 1: that stuff a whole lot, and I don't really deal
- 38:44Speaker 1: with a whole lot in a lot of places. To
- 38:46Speaker 1: be honest with you, I don't remember ever having you know,
- 38:50Speaker 1: I think it's pretty common practice for groups over six
- 38:53Speaker 1: to have UH for them to add a tip right
- 38:57Speaker 1: would you say, here, yo, Rome, when I tip, I
- 39:01Speaker 1: tip based on group size and how they're group over.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Almost the waitress is fine peace and has given me
- 39:09Speaker 1: the look in special treatment, then she's definitely getting the tip.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Oh god, you're an idiot. Yeah, a room complaining about
- 39:20Speaker 1: uh pain at a restaurant, you might as well stay
- 39:24Speaker 1: home and cook your own damn food. Well, I don't
- 39:28Speaker 1: think anybody's complaining right now. I mean people, I don't
- 39:31Speaker 1: think anybody's complaining about pain at a restaurant. I think
- 39:34Speaker 1: they're complaining about all of the deceitful things that restaurants
- 39:39Speaker 1: have done since COVID and have allowed and are allowed
- 39:43Speaker 1: to get away with, you know, like all these surcharges,
- 39:46Speaker 1: Like they have surcharges. When's the restaurant ever had a
- 39:49Speaker 1: surg charge? They used to be very simple, it was
- 39:53Speaker 1: price of the meal, tax tip. Now they got surcharges
- 39:57Speaker 1: if you go on a holiday surcharge is if you,
- 40:00Speaker 1: you know, eat inside the restaurant, surcharges to pay for straws.
- 40:04Speaker 1: I mean, it's ridiculous some of the deceitful things that
- 40:06Speaker 1: restaurants do, you know, which I can understand people complaining
- 40:10Speaker 1: about that. But this guy was just talking about the tip,
- 40:12Speaker 1: which wasn't the restaurant's fault. I don't think. I think
- 40:15Speaker 1: they just added the tip because it was a big party.
- 40:17Speaker 1: He wasn't paying attention when he looked out his bill,
- 40:19Speaker 1: so he tipped again. It is what it is already,
- 40:24Speaker 1: four to two four or seven seven. Hey, rom you
- 40:28Speaker 1: were talking about going out to going out to eat
- 40:31Speaker 1: and dealing with the bill with a group of people.
- 40:36Speaker 1: What's the most annoying person you deal with when you
- 40:39Speaker 1: go out with large groups and it comes to paying
- 40:42Speaker 1: the bill. Oh, that's a good question. The most annoying
- 40:47Speaker 1: person or couple to go out with and when the
- 40:50Speaker 1: bill comes. Oh that's a good question. Let me think
- 40:53Speaker 1: about it a second. Talking about the bill, right, when
- 40:55Speaker 1: you go onto a restaurant with a group of people
- 40:58Speaker 1: and they add the tip already, which is fine, You
- 41:03Speaker 1: just got to make sure you don't double tip. And
- 41:04Speaker 1: the guy called or texted earlier and said he did
- 41:07Speaker 1: that he thought he was getting scammed. But I think
- 41:09Speaker 1: he just didn't pay attention to his bill, he wonder, Romeo.
- 41:12Speaker 1: I think the only reason this guy is complaining about
- 41:14Speaker 1: the tip is probably because it's the first time he's
- 41:17Speaker 1: had to pay the bill for a party of six,
- 41:20Speaker 1: and who in the hell doesn't look at the receipt
- 41:22Speaker 1: before they're paid. Well, no, the thing was the reason
- 41:26Speaker 1: why he wasn't paying attention. I think is because him
- 41:30Speaker 1: and his wife got a separate bill. He said he
- 41:32Speaker 1: went out with a group of people. Him and his
- 41:34Speaker 1: wife got a separate bill, then the rest of the group.
- 41:37Speaker 1: So he assumed, you know, I guess probably in his
- 41:40Speaker 1: mind he didn't realize that he's still considered a party
- 41:43Speaker 1: of six or more. I think that's what happened. I'm
- 41:46Speaker 1: just guessing based on what he told me. So that's
- 41:48Speaker 1: not it is what it is already for two or
- 41:55Speaker 1: seven to seven. I do like the question though, that
- 41:59Speaker 1: somebody just ask me, and that was, who is the
- 42:03Speaker 1: most annoying couple or the most annoying person when the
- 42:08Speaker 1: bill comes? When you go out in a group of people,
- 42:10Speaker 1: you've all done it for birthdays, anniversaries, friend groups. I mean,
- 42:14Speaker 1: you guys all get together for something, and who is
- 42:18Speaker 1: the most annoying person when the bill comes? Somebody asked
- 42:25Speaker 1: me that I would have to say, it's gonna sound
- 42:31Speaker 1: really horrible, but but it's in a negative. It's not
- 42:35Speaker 1: in a negative way. I mean a big boy. Big
- 42:39Speaker 1: boy drives me insane. I can go out with big
- 42:42Speaker 1: Boy and have lunch and pay the bill, or he'll
- 42:46Speaker 1: pay the bill, but just to him and I, but
- 42:48Speaker 1: in a large group, his wife makes him pay the bill,
- 42:52Speaker 1: and so you can't and you can't even get big boy.
- 42:55Speaker 1: I went out one time, we would all we all
- 42:57Speaker 1: went out one time and even handed the waiter the
- 43:02Speaker 1: credit card. Sit here, don't let him pay. Guess what.
- 43:06Speaker 1: Somehow he bamboozled, bamboozled me still, but I know it's
- 43:10Speaker 1: his wife. His wife makes him pay. So anyway, he's
- 43:13Speaker 1: the best. If you guys ever get a chance to
- 43:14Speaker 1: go take your whole family out with Big Boy and
- 43:16Speaker 1: his family, his wife will make him pay, So go
- 43:18Speaker 1: out with him. But that's that's the part with it.
- 43:21Speaker 1: And I have another buddy who I've been going every
- 43:23Speaker 1: week with the soccer games, and there's been a group
- 43:26Speaker 1: and we order a lot. You know, we've been watching
- 43:28Speaker 1: three or four hours, hanging out drinking, and he won't
- 43:30Speaker 1: let you pay the bill. Just these guys, there's some
- 43:32Speaker 1: of those guys get a little annoyed. Come on, man,
- 43:35Speaker 1: let me pay the bill once you know, not that
- 43:37Speaker 1: you know, I have a lot of money, and but
- 43:39Speaker 1: you know, you want to hook your friends up. You
- 43:41Speaker 1: want to make sure that everybody you know, you take
- 43:43Speaker 1: care of them because they take care of you, right.
- 43:46Speaker 1: But I don't know who is the most annoying person
- 43:48Speaker 1: when it comes to you going out with uh with
- 43:52Speaker 1: a big group, whether be friends or family. What is
- 43:54Speaker 1: the most annoying Who's the most annoying person when it
- 43:58Speaker 1: comes to the bill. Let's talk a little bit about
- 44:00Speaker 1: going out, going out to eat with friends with family.
- 44:03Speaker 1: Let's talk about the bill when the bill shows up?
- 44:06Speaker 1: Who's the most annoying person you're with? What do they
- 44:08Speaker 1: always do? I mean, like I said, I have a
- 44:11Speaker 1: lot of really good friends. So and they make decent money,
- 44:16Speaker 1: so the money's never really an issue when they go out.
- 44:19Speaker 1: The problem is they always want to pay because they're
- 44:23Speaker 1: just good hearted people. And you try to pay and
- 44:27Speaker 1: they'll be like, no, no, get me next time. How
- 44:29Speaker 1: many times I heard get me next time?
- 44:30Speaker 3: You try?
- 44:31Speaker 1: And then they're like it's just you know, it gets
- 44:33Speaker 1: annoying after a while because they're your friends, right, Sometimes
- 44:36Speaker 1: you want to pay for your friends already four two, five,
- 44:38Speaker 1: four or seven to seven. A lot of you have
- 44:40Speaker 1: a different situation, right yo, rom I can't stand when
- 44:46Speaker 1: I get invited by a girl to a family get
- 44:48Speaker 1: together or a friend get together and she expects me
- 44:51Speaker 1: to pay, Like, why the hell did you invite me?
- 44:54Speaker 1: I don't even know these people. I'm just your plus one.
- 44:57Speaker 1: We're already having sex, so no benefit. It's there. Girl.
- 45:00Speaker 1: You better break bread or I'll just pay, or I'll
- 45:04Speaker 1: just pay for my meal. I'm kidding, Rome. I still
- 45:06Speaker 1: pay the bill, but it irritates me, and I'm not
- 45:09Speaker 1: gonna lie. I actually don't disagree with you on that.
- 45:13Speaker 1: I mean, I usually if you get invited somewhere to
- 45:18Speaker 1: a gathering or to a get together, to a you're
- 45:21Speaker 1: the plus one. I don't think you should pay. Yeah,
- 45:24Speaker 1: I don't. I actually agree with you on that, to
- 45:27Speaker 1: be honest, Come on, your help, what's going on?
- 45:30Speaker 8: You ain't never get met nobody and knowing like monk taddy.
- 45:34Speaker 9: Like my cut. We'll go restaurant next to restaurant, they'll
- 45:39Speaker 9: pay for the meal, just dipped and all that right
- 45:42Speaker 9: for that day that's on a Friday, and then we'll
- 45:45Speaker 9: be expecting you to pay for all of his stuff
- 45:48Speaker 9: Saturday and Sunday morning.
- 45:53Speaker 1: Every time.
- 45:55Speaker 9: Oh you got to say nothing. When I bought dinner,
- 46:00Speaker 9: dinner was only like two hundred and thirty bucks. Broug,
- 46:04Speaker 9: you're taking.
- 46:05Speaker 8: A two hundred and thirty dollars like a man.
- 46:08Speaker 1: I uh, you know. It's funny because a few years ago,
- 46:13Speaker 1: all right, we went on a golf weekend and with
- 46:17Speaker 1: this new cat, and I didn't I didn't really know
- 46:19Speaker 1: him all that well, but he was always uh trying
- 46:23Speaker 1: to pay for breakfast and I couldn't figure out. I
- 46:26Speaker 1: was like, why is this dude? It was two days,
- 46:27Speaker 1: three days, and every morning he paid for breakfast and
- 46:32Speaker 1: then he would he wouldn't offer at dinner for drink.
- 46:36Speaker 1: You're right. He wanted to pay the cheapest meal of
- 46:38Speaker 1: the day and then sponge off everybody else the rest
- 46:42Speaker 1: of the day. It was a lot. I didn't. It
- 46:44Speaker 1: took me a while to figure it out, but I
- 46:45Speaker 1: thought it was fuck.
- 46:47Speaker 9: It didn't take me a long time to figure that out.
- 46:50Speaker 9: And he has the same routine. Who turns out of
- 46:54Speaker 9: the mud.
- 46:57Speaker 1: That's funny, that's hilarious. Later man already seven to seven,
- 47:03Speaker 1: Like I said, when it comes to paying the bill,
- 47:06Speaker 1: and you're doing it in large groups. Who's the most
- 47:07Speaker 1: annoying person in your life? So when it comes to
- 47:10Speaker 1: you guys going out with your friends, with your family
- 47:12Speaker 1: and a group of people, how do you guys handle
- 47:16Speaker 1: the bill? Who is the most annoying person to deal
- 47:19Speaker 1: with when the bill comes? What do they do? What
- 47:22Speaker 1: are you not? What's going on?
- 47:23Speaker 4: What's thrown?
- 47:24Speaker 5: Seahaw glue?
- 47:24Speaker 1: Man, but I'm blue.
- 47:26Speaker 6: Hey, I have a friend, man, I know he's listening.
- 47:29Speaker 4: His name is Mike.
- 47:31Speaker 1: She's out.
- 47:33Speaker 3: Yeah, every time we go out to eat, dude, like
- 47:37Speaker 3: he'll look at the paper, the little receipt, and he'll
- 47:39Speaker 3: look at the menu or he has for a menu
- 47:42Speaker 3: so you can compare prices.
- 47:44Speaker 1: Oh my god, that's embarrassing.
- 47:48Speaker 4: Eye.
- 47:49Speaker 6: He's caught it like twice, like, oh no, this place
- 47:52Speaker 6: is eleven.
- 47:53Speaker 5: Ninety nine and they charged me twelve ninety.
- 47:55Speaker 6: Nine And I'm like, bro.
- 47:56Speaker 10: It's a dollar.
- 47:57Speaker 8: Just say you know what I mean?
- 48:00Speaker 6: The menus probably as old as a restaurant. He'll complain,
- 48:07Speaker 6: man like, can I get this change because the menu?
- 48:11Speaker 1: Wow?
- 48:12Speaker 3: Well yeah, I hate that man.
- 48:16Speaker 1: Oh that's hilarious. That's hilarious.
- 48:19Speaker 4: Well yeah, I mean, he pays, but he's like, come on, bro,
- 48:24Speaker 4: why you gotta add it up in your calculator phone?
- 48:27Speaker 5: You know, like it's already added up.
- 48:29Speaker 1: Does he include tipp or does he just add up
- 48:31Speaker 1: what he what he got?
- 48:33Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, he'll do it.
- 48:35Speaker 2: Good service, just.
- 48:36Speaker 7: Like that's he'll do it sick.
- 48:37Speaker 1: But that's hilarious.
- 48:40Speaker 4: I'm like, oh, here comes this bill.
- 48:41Speaker 7: He's gonna do it again.
- 48:42Speaker 5: I know he is, all right, that's erasing man.
- 48:46Speaker 1: Right later, man, I'm sure he's glad you called right already?
- 48:51Speaker 1: Four two, five, four, seven and seven? So when you
- 48:54Speaker 1: go out with friends with family, who's the most annoying
- 48:57Speaker 1: person when the bill comes? So when you're out with friends,
- 49:00Speaker 1: when you're out with family, who is the most annoying
- 49:03Speaker 1: person when the bill comes? The one that wants to
- 49:06Speaker 1: split it all equally and you didn't order anything, or
- 49:10Speaker 1: the one that wants to add it all up with
- 49:13Speaker 1: their calculator, the one who stiffs you. I mean, how
- 49:16Speaker 1: does that work? Already? Four two, five, four or seven? Seven? Hey, Rome,
- 49:22Speaker 1: it's my wife. Rome is the most annoying because when
- 49:25Speaker 1: I go out I don't want to have to discuss,
- 49:29Speaker 1: argue or question the bill, So I just kind of
- 49:32Speaker 1: go with the flow, and if I end up paying more,
- 49:35Speaker 1: I end up paying more. My wife does not like
- 49:38Speaker 1: that because she knows that her family takes advantage and
- 49:43Speaker 1: she really gets upset at me because I'm just kind
- 49:45Speaker 1: of an easy going guy and we can afford it,
- 49:49Speaker 1: so I don't really care so much. My wife always
- 49:53Speaker 1: make sure that she itemizes the entire bill, who got what,
- 49:58Speaker 1: and then she adds the t hip for everybody on
- 50:01Speaker 1: what it's supposed to be. It kind of embarrasses me.
- 50:04Speaker 1: You would think I would have been would have gotten
- 50:07Speaker 1: used to it by now, but I still haven't. Because
- 50:11Speaker 1: when we go out with friends, everybody just chips in
- 50:14Speaker 1: more than they're supposed to. So nobody pays attention. It's
- 50:19Speaker 1: no big deal and she doesn't care. It's just with
- 50:21Speaker 1: her family. Well, I mean, if you guys are I mean,
- 50:26Speaker 1: that's the other thing that you have to think about.
- 50:29Speaker 1: When you are in a family where you've you know,
- 50:33Speaker 1: you're a little bit more successful than the rest of
- 50:35Speaker 1: the family, especially if you were port first and then
- 50:37Speaker 1: then to come up, and they will try to take
- 50:40Speaker 1: advantage of you, especially if they think you have more money.
- 50:44Speaker 1: I mean, we have. I have family members like that,
- 50:46Speaker 1: but and they will try to take advantage of you know,
- 50:50Speaker 1: whoever has the most money or makes the most money
- 50:53Speaker 1: should pay, which is ridiculous. Or you know already four two, five,
- 50:58Speaker 1: four or seven seven than yo Rome the most annoying
- 51:02Speaker 1: person in my friend group we go out. He's the
- 51:05Speaker 1: one that always invites everybody, tries to get everybody together,
- 51:09Speaker 1: and then when the bill come doesn't have enough to
- 51:12Speaker 1: cover his ends, so we have to cover him. Well,
- 51:17Speaker 1: stop going out when he invites you, Stop going out?
- 51:20Speaker 1: What are you talking about already? Boar to bab or
- 51:24Speaker 1: seven to seven. Look, everybody's got a pain in the air.
- 51:27Speaker 1: I'm trying to think. I don't. I just don't. I mean,
- 51:31Speaker 1: I might be the only one that has a friend
- 51:35Speaker 1: or family group that I go out and eat with
- 51:38Speaker 1: that I never have a problem other than the fact
- 51:41Speaker 1: that everybody's always trying to pay. Gosh, I just can't.
- 51:47Speaker 1: But I think most of you have an annoying person
- 51:50Speaker 1: in your group, somebody who's either trying to take advantage
- 51:52Speaker 1: of you when they go out with you, somebody who
- 51:55Speaker 1: just you know, doesn't want to pay. They're just trying
- 51:59Speaker 1: to take advantage right, whether it be friends or family,
- 52:02Speaker 1: and when the bill comes, who's the most annoying person
- 52:06Speaker 1: and what do they do? Hey, Rome, I just want
- 52:11Speaker 1: to tell you the most annoying person in my family
- 52:13Speaker 1: when we go out for family functions is my brother.
- 52:17Speaker 1: My oldest brother is so cheap and whenever we go out,
- 52:21Speaker 1: he tries to get out of paying the bill. When
- 52:23Speaker 1: the bill comes, Me and my dad, my other brother,
- 52:27Speaker 1: we all pull out our credit cards trying to figure
- 52:30Speaker 1: it out. He will never pull out his credit card
- 52:33Speaker 1: until we ask him to, or until we tell him
- 52:36Speaker 1: how much he owes. He will sit there in hopes
- 52:39Speaker 1: that somebody else pays the bill before he has to,
- 52:48Speaker 1: or at least pay his portion of the bill. Uh.
- 52:54Speaker 1: I've actually seen that happen before. I've ever been sitting
- 52:57Speaker 1: at a table to people and the bill gets there
- 53:00Speaker 1: and you can see everybody you whether whoever's there's will
- 53:04Speaker 1: reach for their purse or their wallet, or they'll start
- 53:06Speaker 1: to reach and they'll there'll be somebody that doesn't even move,
- 53:11Speaker 1: doesn't budge, keeps talking like they didn't even see the bill,
- 53:14Speaker 1: and they try to avoid not make eye contact with
- 53:18Speaker 1: the bill. Yeah, I've been at a table with those people.
- 53:21Speaker 1: I don't know them. There were people I didn't know.
- 53:23Speaker 1: I've gone out with people that you know, your friend
- 53:26Speaker 1: will bring somebody. But yeah, I've seen that happen and
- 53:29Speaker 1: then somebody has to tell them. Oh, I mean, it
- 53:36Speaker 1: can get it can get annoying. You know, there are
- 53:38Speaker 1: people out there that just some people shouldn't be going out.
- 53:42Speaker 1: I mean, let's just put it to you like that,
- 53:44Speaker 1: if you can't afford to go out, you shouldn't be
- 53:46Speaker 1: going out, you know. I mean, it's just one of
- 53:48Speaker 1: those things already. Four two five four or seven to seven.
- 53:52Speaker 1: So when you're out, when you're out with friends, when
- 53:54Speaker 1: you're out with family, what do you do with the bill? Hey, roam.
- 53:59Speaker 1: I'm one of those guys that doesn't like to pay
- 54:01Speaker 1: a big bill. So when I go out with my friends,
- 54:04Speaker 1: I always get the first round. By the time the second, third,
- 54:10Speaker 1: or fourth come around, everybody's a little tipsy and they
- 54:14Speaker 1: start to open up their pocketbooks. So I try to
- 54:17Speaker 1: pay the smaller bill so I don't have to pay
- 54:20Speaker 1: the bigger bill. That's pretty funny. Well, at least you
- 54:26Speaker 1: admit it. At least you admit it, all right, E
- 54:28Speaker 1: fourteen five four seven to seven who's the most annoying
- 54:31Speaker 1: person when it comes to the bill. You know, you
- 54:34Speaker 1: go out with friends and family. Who's the one that
- 54:36Speaker 1: tries to get over the most? Hey, good morning Rome.
- 54:40Speaker 1: Most annoying is bro that says, let me get more beer.
- 54:44Speaker 1: And when anyone goes and anyone got ten on it,
- 54:49Speaker 1: he is at the bathroom for ten minutes. Oh that's hilarious,
- 54:58Speaker 1: all right? For five for seven to seven year rom
- 55:02Speaker 1: Let me tell you what happened one time. Me and
- 55:04Speaker 1: my sister are both married. Well, I'm married, she's been
- 55:11Speaker 1: with her man for more than ten years. For my
- 55:14Speaker 1: parents' fortieth wedding anniversary, we decided to all go to Vegas.
- 55:20Speaker 1: So we go out to this real expensement in the
- 55:22Speaker 1: win and when the bill comes, my sister and I
- 55:26Speaker 1: are supposed to split it for my parents because we're
- 55:31Speaker 1: taking him out to dinner for their anniversary. Her we
- 55:36Speaker 1: call him our brother, I call him my brother in law,
- 55:39Speaker 1: but he's really just my sister's boyfriend of ten years.
- 55:43Speaker 1: He says, Hey, I don't have any cash on me.
- 55:46Speaker 1: Would you mind getting the bill and I'll pay you back.
- 55:54Speaker 1: How many of you know that guy? I don't have
- 55:57Speaker 1: any cash on me, I'll pay you later. Yeah, so
- 56:03Speaker 1: he says, I'll pay you back, Romeo. It took me
- 56:06Speaker 1: almost three months to get the money out of him
- 56:09Speaker 1: for that dinner. I did get it, but he didn't.
- 56:12Speaker 1: He but I don't think he was ever gonna pay
- 56:15Speaker 1: me back. Oh yeah, that's funny, hey, rome What bothers
- 56:20Speaker 1: me is when we go out with our friends who
- 56:24Speaker 1: have kids, and the kids will order a full meal
- 56:28Speaker 1: and not eat it all, and then we end up
- 56:31Speaker 1: paying for it. Now, my wife and I we have
- 56:33Speaker 1: kids as well, but I make sure that my kids
- 56:35Speaker 1: eat what they order or order something small off the
- 56:38Speaker 1: kids menu. But we have friends that go out and
- 56:41Speaker 1: their small kids order off the regular menu, and then
- 56:45Speaker 1: I end up paying because we just split the bill equally.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Well that's yeah, I get that. Yeah, but that's that's
- 56:54Speaker 1: just your mentality because you you know, now you're a
- 56:57Speaker 1: married man with kids things. I get it. I get it, man.
- 57:01Speaker 2: I've had to chime in on this. So I have
- 57:03Speaker 2: a friend, same friend talking about splitting bills and stuff.
- 57:07Speaker 2: First time we go to the drive through sh order,
- 57:11Speaker 2: So when they came to pay her things, she's like,
- 57:13Speaker 2: she only hands over three dollars. I was like, yo,
- 57:15Speaker 2: it was like twelve bucks. She's like, oh, this is
- 57:18Speaker 2: all I got. I was like, then watch order so much.
- 57:21Speaker 2: Second time around, you know, I buy her something and
- 57:24Speaker 2: I came back said, hey, it's seven dollars. She's like, oh,
- 57:27Speaker 2: I only got a twenty. Okay, then give me the
- 57:29Speaker 2: twenty and oh you you over fourteen dollars, you know.
- 57:34Speaker 2: And last time then, this was the last last time
- 57:36Speaker 2: we go out and eat. You know, we were just
- 57:38Speaker 2: having to drinks. But she was hungry. She wanted appetizers
- 57:41Speaker 2: and stuff, and I'm like, all right, cool, but you're
- 57:43Speaker 2: paying for it, you know, come come. You know, at
- 57:46Speaker 2: the end of the night, we're all buzzy, the bill comes,
- 57:48Speaker 2: She's like, all right, let's split it.
- 57:50Speaker 10: All right, we split it.
- 57:51Speaker 2: And then afterwards they were likee wait, I just paid appetizer,
- 57:54Speaker 2: said I didn't need after that, done done, done done.
- 58:00Speaker 1: That's funny. Well it only took you getting got three
- 58:04Speaker 1: times before you figured it out.
- 58:06Speaker 2: Yeah, and not not for a lot.
- 58:13Speaker 1: Maybe he was trying to get some Hey you want
- 58:15Speaker 1: to roam gil Rod shreuping from Ballejo, California. I have
- 58:19Speaker 1: a friend that would always say I forgot my wallet
- 58:22Speaker 1: when we would go out for beers on One of
- 58:25Speaker 1: the bartenders called him out one time when she heard
- 58:29Speaker 1: him say that. She said, oh, you're one. You're one
- 58:33Speaker 1: of those guys. Huh. He was all embarrassed. Well, he
- 58:35Speaker 1: should be. Forgot my wallet? All right? What'd you send
- 58:40Speaker 1: me here? Hey, Roam? I got a question for you
- 58:43Speaker 1: about paying the bill. It has nothing to do with,
- 58:47Speaker 1: you know, sharing the bill. But my wife's parents, my
- 58:51Speaker 1: in laws, every time we go out to dinner, lunch, breakfast,
- 58:56Speaker 1: whatever the case may be, they in fact me to pay. Now, Rome,
- 59:02Speaker 1: check this out. I make good money, but I don't
- 59:06Speaker 1: think I should always be paying for her parents. My
- 59:10Speaker 1: wife kind of feels the same way about it, but
- 59:13Speaker 1: she won't say anything to her parents. She just lets
- 59:16Speaker 1: me pay the bill and then we complain about it
- 59:18Speaker 1: together on the car ride home. What do you think
- 59:24Speaker 1: about that, Rome, I think that her parents think I
- 59:27Speaker 1: have more money than I do. Yeah, that's a good question.
- 59:33Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean, what are you supposed to
- 59:36Speaker 1: do when it comes to that. I mean, I I
- 59:40Speaker 1: don't know. I don't have parents like that. My parents
- 59:43Speaker 1: are My parents still pay for us when we go
- 59:47Speaker 1: out to dinner, we pay. They think it's still their
- 59:48Speaker 1: responsibility to pay for us kids when we go out,
- 59:52Speaker 1: So I don't I don't know. I mean that's a
- 59:57Speaker 1: Do your in laws have the money to pay and
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: they just don't want to because they think you have more?
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Do they feel like they owe you? Does her dad
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: even offer? I mean, how does that work? I mean,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: there's a lot of I guess I don't know. Your
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: wife needs to I guess you need to handle that
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: with your wife apparently. Yeah. I don't even really know
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: what to tell you about that. That's about a tough
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: situation to be in, right. I want to ask you
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: a question about being married. My girl and I have
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: been together for six years. We got married two years ago,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: and I noticed that I don't get as much sex
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: as I used to before we got married. Now people
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: have told me that marriage changes things. I didn't believe them. Rome,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: What do you think should I have never gotten married
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: to her and just stayed dating her? No? Come on, now,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: marriage isn't the problem. You know, who knows what's going
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: on with your sex life. It could be you not
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: being romantic enough anymore, getting complacent. It could be heard
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: you've got kids or do you got stresses? I mean,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: what's going on there is not a problem. A lot
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: of people think marriage is the reason that things change,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: and it's not really kids. Having kids is more of
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: a reason for things changing in your relationship than marriage.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: I think, right already four two, five, four or seven
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: and seven of you changed after getting married? Is marriage
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: the problem? Him and his wife been married a couple
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: of years, they've been together six before they got married.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: He said he's getting less sex, and he says people
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: had told him that marriage not to get married because
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: things would change after marriage. I mean, I don't think
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: it's actually the idea of marriage that changes somebody. I
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: think it's the idea of your long term relationship. You
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: get complacent. I mean, how many people do you know
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: that have been together for ten twenty years and aren't married,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: but yet still act like they're married and still have
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: the same issues or problems as married couples. I mean,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: it's more of a longevity thing than it is a
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: marriage thing, right already, four two, five, four or seven? Seven? Hey, Romeo,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: I just want to tell you about the marriage thing.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: From my experience, what I see is once women get married,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: they know that they got you, they can take half
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: your stuff. They have more control, so they will take
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: advantage of you. The guy is absolutely right. Marriage is
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: not a good thing because women know what they can
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: get and they stop doing the things that women did.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: They stop doing the things that women do before marriage
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: because they know they don't have to do it anymore.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: That's a good question. Are the things that your wife
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: did before you got married that she won't do now?
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: But are the things that guys did before? I mean,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: basically it goes both ways, right, Are the things that
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: you did before that you don't do now because you're
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: married and you feel like you don't have to do
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: those things anymore. That's probably a good question. I guess.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean, I'm not one of those
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: guys that has a problem with marriage. I think marriage
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: is fine. I just I think people get complacent with
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: each other and they don't do as much as they
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: should for each other. And I think that's more of
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: a longevity thing than a marriage thing. But marriage takes
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: the blame for it. You just blame it on marriage.
- 1:03:35Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: That's a good question.
- 1:03:37Speaker 13: Hey, Romeo, the last person that said that women just
- 1:03:42Speaker 13: you know, marry a man to get money. Is he
- 1:03:46Speaker 13: implying that all women are so down and out that
- 1:03:49Speaker 13: we can't afford to provide for ourselves. That's complete, get
- 1:03:56Speaker 13: married to us to get our I'm sorry, all right,
- 1:04:03Speaker 13: all right, I make my own money. I don't need
- 1:04:06Speaker 13: any man, just me.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: I'm good, Okay, thanks for gotting it. Well, there there
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: you go. I she was just talking about guys who,
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: uh who say that women need money and that's why
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: they marry a man. Some women do, and some of women
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: want to be married, which is fine, but she just
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: says she don't need no man's money. And what about
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: the guys that married for uh their money? I mean,
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: people married for money. It happens, but marriage. I think
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: the idea was when the guy called up and he said,
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: are texting me, and he was talking about how he
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: got married to his wife a couple of years ago.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: They've been married for six years in the sex life change,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: and he was blaming it all marriage. It seems to
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: be that everybody, all of you, a lot of you,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: who have problems in your marriage. You the institution of marriage.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: It's not the institution of marriage's fault that you don't
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: get enough sex, or you don't get this, or you
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: guys aren't communicating. Well, it's not marriage that changed everything.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: It's just I think your relationship is different because you've
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: been together so long and you're taking each other for
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: granted and you just don't do the things that you
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: did before you got married. You can't blame marriage already
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: four two five four or seven to seven. Hey Romeo,
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: I was married for twelve years and I got it
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: almost every day when I wanted it, so not so No,
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: it had nothing to do with marriage. We divorced because
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: she cheated and got pregnant, and marriage didn't cause her
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: to cheat, right, So yeah, you just guys got I mean,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: there's a lot of people out there that have a
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: lot of negative things to say about marriage. And it's
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: not marriage's fault. It's your fault for either marriage, being
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: the wrong person, or not committing to the marriage. There's
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: nothing wrong with marriage. It's fine.
- 1:06:07Speaker 10: Hey Romeo, I just heard what's going on on the radio.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: What's up?
- 1:06:12Speaker 13: Hey, I just got a little opinion because I got
- 1:06:15Speaker 13: you know, some people nowadays they be getting married hella young,
- 1:06:18Speaker 13: but some of them forget there's a reason why our.
- 1:06:21Speaker 6: Grandparents and parents used to back in the day do
- 1:06:24Speaker 6: wedding renewals, vow renewals, you know, because they wanted to
- 1:06:27Speaker 6: make sure that they wanted to stay together after you know,
- 1:06:31Speaker 6: everyone develops over time, everyone changes.
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: Over time, so that's like a recommitment thing.
- 1:06:36Speaker 13: I still want to be married to this person instead
- 1:06:38Speaker 13: of cheating.
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: Young just need to be one honest with each other.
- 1:06:42Speaker 10: I myself was in a ten year marriage.
- 1:06:44Speaker 9: You know, trust me, it wasn't the best thing in
- 1:06:47Speaker 9: the world, narcissists whatever, but I never stepped out.
- 1:06:50Speaker 5: I never cheated.
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: I said, okay, I'm done with the marriage.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: How old were you when you got married?
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: I was eighteen.
- 1:06:56Speaker 13: That's why mine said, you know, people change over time.
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: And then with the whole comment you know about.
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: The you know, men and women wanting to be married
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: for money, I also feel.
- 1:07:07Speaker 13: Like, you know, it's not only the women who want
- 1:07:09Speaker 13: to marry for money or men want to plan some money.
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: They want to be taken care of.
- 1:07:12Speaker 13: Sure, I don't think we had a whole grown my language,
- 1:07:15Speaker 13: but I had a grown man, you know, who wanted
- 1:07:17Speaker 13: me working two three jobs.
- 1:07:18Speaker 10: While he stood home and did nothing, not even helping
- 1:07:21Speaker 10: with the kids the house, working nothing.
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: It still take me to come home and do all that.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: All right, Well, thanks for calling us. You know, it's
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: funny there was a uh, it's kind of funny, man,
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: you start talking about marriage, the curse words come out.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: She's kind of right though about the you know, renewing
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: your vows. There was a sacrament of king. Player might
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: have been Doug Christie. I think, if I remember correctly,
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: they used to him and his wife, I believe, renewed
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: their vows every year they had a wedding, a renewal ceremony.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: I don't know if that means anything, but she might
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: be right.
- 1:08:03Speaker 13: Hey, Romeo, sorry about the curse words earlier.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: Yes, it's okay.
- 1:08:08Speaker 10: I need one last.
- 1:08:09Speaker 13: Thing, is uh, I think that it's not the marriage
- 1:08:13Speaker 13: because that's really literally just the receipt for the exchange
- 1:08:16Speaker 13: of property. Sure back at the time, I mean really
- 1:08:19Speaker 13: if you think about it, so, it's not the piece
- 1:08:22Speaker 13: of paper that's getten in the way. It's people's attitudes
- 1:08:25Speaker 13: or yeah, like you said, their actions. People change and
- 1:08:29Speaker 13: people don't say the same forever. I'm not the same
- 1:08:31Speaker 13: as I was when I was twenty, thank goodness.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: But let me ask you this question as it pertains
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: to the paper, and I just thought about it when
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: you said it's just a piece of paper, but it
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: or a receipt. It is a receipt. Though that does say,
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: like the person said that you got mad at who said,
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: now you get half of his stuff. And if you're
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: a if you're a but if you're a woman out
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: there who doesn't have as much as the guy, when
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: you get married, she does get half of his stuff,
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: but he gets half her stuff. I agree with you.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: I agree with you. I'm on your side, all right,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: thanks for calling, and I think she's right. But the
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: idea that now I don't have to do as much
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: because you know, I get half his stuff, and it
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: goes both ways. He gets half your stuff too if
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: you're if you got more money than him, so it
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: does work both ways. But there could be a little
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: bit of validities to the fact that now I got
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: a paper that says I can take half your stuff.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: That makes you change your mind about your marriage and
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: what you can or can't do. You know how many
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: women have you ever met in your life that said, well,
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: I don't have to do that sex thing anymore because
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: now we're married, but we'll do it all day long
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: when they're single. You know what I'm saying. So I
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: don't know there is a little bit of truth to
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: what the guy was saying though already four two five
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: four or seven to seven everyone and stuff marriage, because
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: all that really is is a piece of paper that
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: clarifies the exchange of property aka the woman so needs
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: to just do any anyway with blaming marriage. And that's
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: how I always thought. I always thought, you're just blaming marriage,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: which is not real. But when she said receipt that,
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: maybe that may be a different perspective when you look
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: at it like that the morning
- 1:10:24Speaker 5: Every morning morn ninety four point one
