Just as the guest without a wedding garment freely chose to reject the norms of the open banquet, the reality of hell is not an arbitrary punishment from a petty God, but rather our own tragic choice to distance ourselves from His love; therefore, instead of anxiously judging others, we are called to focus entirely on living out of love and trusting in our Heavenly Father's infinite mercy.
