- 0:03Sean McAllister: With the Las Vegas F1 race upon us.
- 0:06Sean McAllister: How will the winners celebrate, we know, and why you should plan ahead for race weekend reservations we're sharing this week.
- 0:15Dayna Roselli: Katy Perry won't be waking up in Vegas anymore.
- 0:17Dayna Roselli: Adele announces her final shows at Caesars Palace and where we expect Justin Timberlake to perform on the strip.
- 0:25Sean McAllister: Plus, we're just back from Maui the surprising information we learned about the island's wildfire recovery.
- 0:33Dayna Roselli: All that and more coming up on Vegas Revealed.
- 0:36Sean McAllister: Let's spin that wheel.
- 0:36Sean McAllister: Welcome to Vegas.
- 0:44Sean McAllister: Revealed episode 193.
- 0:46Sean McAllister: Sean McAllister here along with Dayna Roselli.
- 0:49Sean McAllister: We are kicking off November and the end of the year here in Las Vegas is looking as packed as I've ever seen it.
- 0:58Dayna Roselli: I mean it's Vegas overload.
- 0:58Dayna Roselli: I literally feel like I had a little bit of Vegas burnout last month and you and I were on a work trip in Maui and you know it was hard work and we were busy and it was emotional stories we were putting together.
- 1:10Dayna Roselli: However, I did feel a little bit like like it was a much needed break from Las Vegas.
- 1:18Dayna Roselli: If that makes sense, it makes complete sense.
- 1:22Sean McAllister: We were talking about this on the plane, I think, and it was, it is.
- 1:26Dayna Roselli: It's just a constant stream of information and Openings and updates and events and changes and construction and headliners and new restaurants and new attractions and it's like ah.
- 1:40Sean McAllister: Which is all good, and we'll continue to bring that to you here on Vegas Revealed.
- 1:45Sean McAllister: But sometimes, no matter what you're doing, it is good to just step back, take a breath and then get back into it refreshed.
- 1:54Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I think you and I try and stay on top of everything as much as we can, and that's where the stress comes in you know, for us.
- 2:00Dayna Roselli: It's like we want to, you know, give everyone the best information and the most information that we can, but sometimes we have to go all right, hold on.
- 2:07Dayna Roselli: When I got back from Maui, my heart rate was at like 55.
- 2:10Dayna Roselli: And normally it's at like 59.60.
- 2:12Dayna Roselli: So I was like, wow, that was a much needed break.
- 2:15Dayna Roselli: But let's talk Maui, because I know that a lot of people that listen to our podcast are from Hawaii.
- 2:21Dayna Roselli: A lot of people that live in Las Vegas are from Hawaii, and we have had a lot of feedback and a lot of questions from people since we got back that saw we were there saying how was Maui, how is the island?
- 2:34Sean McAllister: Well, and the surprising thing that we learned from people, from residents there on Maui and from people who have been reaching out to us, is that there are a lot of people who think that the entire island was burned in those wildfires.
- 2:51Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 2:52Dayna Roselli: They don't even think that you could even go there and visit if you wanted to.
- 2:56Dayna Roselli: Right, and it's interesting because when we got there, we did a lot of work in the wildfire area, but we stayed about 50 miles north of that.
- 3:06Sean McAllister: In Wailea yeah.
- 3:08Dayna Roselli: Yeah, like one highway the whole way, very simple back and forth.
- 3:11Dayna Roselli: But up there you know it's untouched and really the drive, you know there's not a lot of damage.
- 3:18Dayna Roselli: So it's that one concentrated area which is a very, very popular tourist spot and one of the most beautiful parts of the island as well, and it's terrible and it's sad, but it is a portion of the island.
- 3:31Sean McAllister: Yeah, and that Lahaina region where the fire really just was extremely devastating, there's no other way to put it that is still blocked off with military-style checkpoints.
- 3:44Sean McAllister: So you can't even get into that area unless you are a resident, and I think even residents have to be escorted around inside of that perimeter, so tourists can't even get into that area.
- 3:59Sean McAllister: Now we did speak with several business owners who rely on tourist traffic and they say listen, we just need to get the word out that Maui is open for business owners.
- 4:13Sean McAllister: Maui is open for business and we need business because tourists staying away is doing nothing to help people who own souvenir shops, bathing suit shops, surfboard rentals you know all the Airbnb's Excursions that you do Airbnb's Huge business there.
- 4:33Sean McAllister: So there is a need for people to get back, but you have to kind of weigh that against the people who have petitioned to ask visitors to stay away.
- 4:43Dayna Roselli: Right, and there were a lot of signs that said please, no pictures, leave us at peace, and that is in that one concentrated area, right, I'm not like that.
- 4:54Dayna Roselli: And we were talking to an Airbnb owner and he was saying, like this is my livelihood, but people are Canceling the reservations that they had.
- 5:01Dayna Roselli: And we said, well, why are they canceling them?
- 5:03Dayna Roselli: You'd think they'd go and support and and still go to a place with great weather and beautiful beaches.
- 5:09Dayna Roselli: And he was like, well, because they feel guilty vacationing here and I get both sides.
- 5:14Dayna Roselli: It's very understandable, but there are parts of Maui that are open.
- 5:18Dayna Roselli: I guess that's our point.
- 5:19Dayna Roselli: We won't get in depth into all the different interviews and in the reason we were there in the business that we were doing, but it, I think, is worth saying that it is open the vast majority of Maui is open.
- 5:31Dayna Roselli: Yeah, their hotels are opened.
- 5:33Dayna Roselli: Yeah the restaurants are open.
- 5:35Dayna Roselli: There are Airbnb's that need Occupancy, that people you know a lot of people their own homes just for Airbnb it's like they have their own home and then they own, like you know, five or six properties that they are B&B, because people come into Maui and a lot of times there's like a big group or family, and so, anyway, keep that in mind.
- 5:53Dayna Roselli: Of course, we want to respect all the people there that have gone through so much tragedy.
- 5:58Dayna Roselli: It's absolutely devastating for them, and but there are parts of the island that are open.
- 6:04Sean McAllister: Yeah, so that was the big takeaway From from our visit to Maui, which, by the way, is an absolutely Gorgeous island, gorgeous.
- 6:15Dayna Roselli: We just were blown away by how beautiful it was and the weather was fantastic.
- 6:19Dayna Roselli: A little humid, but that's okay.
- 6:22Dayna Roselli: It was good for the skin.
- 6:23Sean McAllister: It's what you expect in the tropics, right?
- 6:25Sean McAllister: Yeah?
- 6:25Dayna Roselli: also wanted to mention we took the non-stop on Southwest and it was easy.
- 6:28Dayna Roselli: That was, that was a good flight, yeah.
- 6:31Sean McAllister: I was pleasantly surprised by that, me too.
- 6:33Sean McAllister: The plane was nice too.
- 6:34Sean McAllister: It's a bit of bigger plane.
- 6:36Dayna Roselli: Bigger plane, nice plane.
- 6:37Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it was fun, except for the incident when I spilled my coffee on the check-in desk.
- 6:46Sean McAllister: You should have seen Sean's face.
- 6:47Dayna Roselli: He was so embarrassed so hey, it happens, happens.
- 6:52Dayna Roselli: I was juggling.
- 6:53Dayna Roselli: Anyway, we are back here and a couple things we wanted to get through that we have coming up here in Las Vegas we're gonna talk about in a second, but wanted to just quickly mention the visitor numbers here in Las Vegas.
- 7:04Dayna Roselli: We always get like the month before the last month, right?
- 7:07Dayna Roselli: So, we just got the September visitor numbers.
- 7:09Dayna Roselli: Visitor numbers or down a little bit.
- 7:11Sean McAllister: Yeah, by like a half a percent.
- 7:14Sean McAllister: Yeah, so not a huge hit.
- 7:18Sean McAllister: But you know, I think some of that pent up demand that we saw in the in the time period following the pandemic, some of that might be tapering off.
- 7:30Sean McAllister: There could be inflation reasons why people aren't traveling, who knows.
- 7:35Sean McAllister: It wasn't a huge down tick.
- 7:38Dayna Roselli: No but it was a down tick nonetheless right, and we have so many big events coming up, I wonder if you know visitor numbers were down hotel occupancy because everyone's coming here in November and then for the Super Bowl in February and all that kind of thing.
- 7:54Sean McAllister: So I don't know well, and there have also been a whole bunch of reports and we've talked about it here where you know, with all the construction surrounding the lead-up to f1, that you're not going to experience Las Vegas the way you would expect To experience Las Vegas.
- 8:09Sean McAllister: So, maybe that kept people away too.
- 8:11Dayna Roselli: Yeah, very, very true.
- 8:12Dayna Roselli: Hey, speaking of f1, we're gonna get into a couple things that have to do with that and I wanted to mention a quick thank you to our sponsors and a reminder download the Vegas near me app.
- 8:21Dayna Roselli: They are one of our sponsors, but we believe in it.
- 8:24Dayna Roselli: It's a great app.
- 8:25Dayna Roselli: It's free, you don't need a username and email, nothing, google, apple and you can just like, search for whatever you want times and attractions and restaurants.
- 8:34Dayna Roselli: You can book an Uber.
- 8:35Dayna Roselli: Maps of the properties if you've never been here, we expect a lot of people to visit Las Vegas in November that have never been to Las Vegas because they're coming for f1.
- 8:43Sean McAllister: Yeah, so make sure you download the Vegas near me app.
- 8:46Sean McAllister: It'll guide you around every activity, restaurant, shopping, destination that you could possibly want to experience while here on your Las Vegas visit.
- 8:58Sean McAllister: Also, thank you to hot works 24-hour infrared fitness studios.
- 9:03Sean McAllister: With the holidays coming up, it's gonna be there's going to be a Necessary time that you need to build into your schedule to de-stress, to keep yourself healthy and fit in.
- 9:14Sean McAllister: Hot works is the place to do it.
- 9:16Dayna Roselli: Yes, in for red sauna.
- 9:18Dayna Roselli: It's great for boosting your mood too.
- 9:21Dayna Roselli: I absolutely love it.
- 9:22Dayna Roselli: As soon as we landed in Hawaii the next day, I was back at my hot works class because I missed it so much.
- 9:27Dayna Roselli: Also, we want to thank, of course, all of our subscribers.
- 9:31Dayna Roselli: You help giving a little monthly donation every month, and without you we wouldn't be able to do the video podcast that we do.
- 9:39Dayna Roselli: We appreciate you Throwing a little our way so that we can add a little bit more time to our schedule.
- 9:44Sean McAllister: Yeah, and we have a link down in our show notes if you would like to become a monthly subscriber to Vegas revealed as well.
- 9:51Sean McAllister: Well, as we mentioned, we are into the month of November now and you know this is the start of a really busy Two months to end 2023 that's right.
- 10:05Dayna Roselli: We've got a bunch of things coming up.
- 10:06Dayna Roselli: We can't mention all of them because, as we said, it's Vegas overload.
- 10:09Dayna Roselli: And one thing we did this week we did fit in one event we went to Katy Perry, and you know she well, let's see now when the podcast runs.
- 10:17Dayna Roselli: If you listen to this on a Saturday, she has one more show tonight, but we went on Wednesday and it's the final week of her show.
- 10:24Dayna Roselli: Katy Perry play at Resorts World.
- 10:26Dayna Roselli: I actually didn't realize.
- 10:26Dayna Roselli: She's been there a while since 2021, so I think I think she kicked off right at the end of 2021.
- 10:32Sean McAllister: Yes, I believe that was kind of like a New Year's Eve.
- 10:34Dayna Roselli: Yeah kind of a deal and just a reminder of how good that show is and was we can say was now because it's done.
- 10:41Dayna Roselli: And what a bummer, because it's so over the top, it's so much fun, she has so many hits, it's just it's done like no other show in Las Vegas.
- 10:49Sean McAllister: I mean, I mean, what an incredible run.
- 10:52Sean McAllister: Congratulations to Katy Perry and everyone involved with her show, because that really was an over the top Vegas spectacle.
- 11:03Dayna Roselli: Really.
- 11:04Sean McAllister: I mean in every single way.
- 11:07Sean McAllister: The production in that show, I think, is unmatched.
- 11:11Sean McAllister: I've been trying to rack my brain and think what other show does this compare to?
- 11:17Sean McAllister: I know at one point I'd said it was kind of like Elton John's red piano show that had big inflatables and everything.
- 11:24Sean McAllister: But it's even bigger than that.
- 11:26Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it is, and it's different.
- 11:28Dayna Roselli: I would say like Gwen Stefani show had a lot of like yes, absolutely.
- 11:31Dayna Roselli: You know, decor and different sets and stuff like that.
- 11:35Dayna Roselli: But I feel like Katy Perry's is different in a way that she tells a story throughout.
- 11:40Dayna Roselli: And the movies so it's a theme.
- 11:43Sean McAllister: Yes, and each act is introduced with a movie, an animated movie that kind of tells a story throughout the entire show.
- 11:52Sean McAllister: Katy Perry play phenomenal production.
- 11:55Sean McAllister: We're going to miss Katy Perry here.
- 11:57Dayna Roselli: I wonder if she's going to take that on tour.
- 11:59Dayna Roselli: I know she's talked about touring more, I don't know.
- 12:02Dayna Roselli: I wonder, or like, where does that stuff go?
- 12:04Dayna Roselli: I was thinking for some of those like groups that came out, some of the toys.
- 12:07Dayna Roselli: I was like that would be a really good Halloween costume one year Like, can we?
- 12:11Dayna Roselli: Rent them?
- 12:11Dayna Roselli: Can Katy give them to us?
- 12:12Dayna Roselli: What's the deal?
- 12:13Dayna Roselli: But there were some like the fun, I love the plastic blonde.
- 12:16Dayna Roselli: They were like little dolls.
- 12:18Matteo Lunelli: I don't know what they were, but with the no faces Toy dolls.
- 12:21Sean McAllister: Yeah, toy dolls.
- 12:22Dayna Roselli: I was like that'd be a really cool to go with like a group of your friends.
- 12:24Dayna Roselli: Like how do I get that?
- 12:26Sean McAllister: I mean, there are so many great costumes.
- 12:29Sean McAllister: She was actually giving away pieces.
- 12:31Sean McAllister: There's a big cereal box in one part and she looked down to the front row of the audience.
- 12:37Sean McAllister: She was like you want something from my show?
- 12:39Sean McAllister: It's all going in the fire pit after my last one, it's all going in the fire pit.
- 12:43Sean McAllister: She was like what letter cereal do you want?
- 12:44Sean McAllister: You want a pee, here you go.
- 12:46Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that was funny.
- 12:47Dayna Roselli: She's so funny, she has a lot of charisma.
- 12:49Dayna Roselli: I really enjoyed it.
- 12:50Dayna Roselli: Hey, we told you the fountain blue is opening on December 13th.
- 12:54Dayna Roselli: We're looking forward to finding out more as that continues to move on and all the little final touches are being done.
- 13:02Dayna Roselli: We've heard so much about the inside.
- 13:05Dayna Roselli: I have a friend that went for a special dinner there they're like pushing convention, business and stuff and he was saying that the inside is gorgeous.
- 13:14Dayna Roselli: They did a little hard hat tour and just said it was stunning, stunning, stunning.
- 13:20Sean McAllister: I can't wait to get inside.
- 13:22Sean McAllister: I know that I drove by the other night and more of the video screens are lighting up there too.
- 13:28Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it's really, really pretty.
- 13:30Dayna Roselli: And yesterday I was thinking when I walked out on my balcony I've talked about before how, oh, there's lights on at the fountain blue now and stuff but all the rooms, a lot of the rooms, have lights on and it really has changed.
- 13:41Dayna Roselli: I was thinking it does look so different.
- 13:43Dayna Roselli: Now when I walk into my condo you can see through the I have a thin shade, that but it looks more like a city, Because before there was a big dark space in the middle and now all of a sudden I feel like, oh, I feel all metropolitan, Like I walk in and there's lights on all the buildings now and all the rooms.
- 14:01Dayna Roselli: And it just adds a little bit more of a cityscape touch.
- 14:04Sean McAllister: Well, and there is.
- 14:05Sean McAllister: There is now life at fountain blue and we're excited to see obviously, once it opens, get inside there, but to see really what it does for development at the north end of the strip too, now that Resorts World isn't the only thing that's up there.
- 14:20Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 14:21Dayna Roselli: Hey, listen, a lot of people have been talking about how Justin Timberlake is billed to perform on opening night at the fountain blue.
- 14:28Dayna Roselli: That's been the chatter.
- 14:29Dayna Roselli: More and more people and insiders and sources are telling us that that is true.
- 14:36Dayna Roselli: It is not confirmed, but I feel like JT is probably going to put on a show on opening night.
- 14:41Sean McAllister: That's what I'm feeling like yeah, and there's been chatter about that for a few months now, so I wouldn't doubt it if Mr Timberlake shows up for that opening December 13.
- 14:53Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and I don't think it'll be like a ticketed thing, but probably for the opening party or something like that.
- 14:57Dayna Roselli: So we'll have to see.
- 14:58Dayna Roselli: He hasn't performed in a while, since his last tour.
- 15:00Dayna Roselli: I went to his last tour at T-Mobile.
- 15:01Dayna Roselli: I forgot about that and I was like he's an excellent performer, so I think he'd be really good for the opening of the fountain blue.
- 15:07Sean McAllister: He puts on one heck of a show for sure.
- 15:09Sean McAllister: Someone else who puts on great shows and has been loving their time in Vegas is Adele.
- 15:14Sean McAllister: I mean, every single one of her shows makes headlines because of something she does or says or people in the audience.
- 15:22Sean McAllister: And she has now added more dates through June of 2024.
- 15:29Sean McAllister: So, select weekends through the first six months of 2024.
- 15:34Sean McAllister: Adele is going to continue her residency, but in June, that's it.
- 15:39Dayna Roselli: Yeah, she said that's it.
- 15:40Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I wonder, unless she really is like you know what, I don't know, we'll see, it's never I feel like it's never never.
- 15:46Sean McAllister: It's never, never, it's never, never.
- 15:48Sean McAllister: But she did put out her dates and say these are the final shows.
- 15:51Dayna Roselli: But didn't Kelly Clarkson say she was only doing a few shows and then now she's coming back for a couple?
- 15:55Sean McAllister: Yeah, she's coming back for four more.
- 15:57Dayna Roselli: Yeah, all right.
- 15:58Dayna Roselli: So you never know, if the price is right and the demand is there, anything can happen.
- 16:02Sean McAllister: Very true.
- 16:04Dayna Roselli: But yes, I mean, as she's saying, that's probably her final run.
- 16:06Dayna Roselli: So I mean I'm glad A lot of people have said they want to go again, that have gone once.
- 16:11Dayna Roselli: So I mean that means something.
- 16:13Sean McAllister: Well, in her shows that she just announced are already sold out, I think, so there's definitely demand there, you have it.
- 16:19Dayna Roselli: Hey, we talked about Pink and her show at Allegiant Stadium that you went to and we said you know what I think Pink might do a residency, and remember.
- 16:25Dayna Roselli: I said, well, she's got a family now and sometimes it's easier to kind of stay put and put on shows.
- 16:30Dayna Roselli: I think this would be perfect.
- 16:31Dayna Roselli: Maybe she's ready and then boom 60 minutes, does an interview with her and she says I'm ready.
- 16:37Dayna Roselli: And when you have a family, staying put in one space is amazing and so isn't that strange timing.
- 16:44Sean McAllister: We talked about it and then Pink talked about it, so I love that she's considering and contemplating a Las Vegas residency now.
- 16:54Sean McAllister: Take a listen to a short clip from that 60 minutes interview about what Pink wants to bring here to Las Vegas.
- 17:03Dayna Roselli: I would like to have the best show that Vegas has ever seen, and I think that I can.
- 17:07Dayna Roselli: For a performer like me to have a stage that doesn't have to travel oh my god, you can do so much.
- 17:17Sean McAllister: And Dana I think this is exactly what I said, if you listen back, when we were talking about this a few episodes ago is that if Pink had a show where she didn't have to move around, that it would be Incredible.
- 17:33Sean McAllister: She would think of things to do that we have not seen before, and apparently that's what she's thinking about.
- 17:39Dayna Roselli: I know and she did it I feel like she'd need a little bit of a bigger theater just because she likes to move around a lot.
- 17:44Dayna Roselli: But you know, you can do a lot with a big stage.
- 17:46Dayna Roselli: So I don't know.
- 17:47Dayna Roselli: I mean, and that's the thing, I think she'd get really creative.
- 17:49Sean McAllister: Oh to do some wow moments.
- 17:51Dayna Roselli: You know that might be.
- 17:52Sean McAllister: I could see her in the resorts world theater.
- 17:54Dayna Roselli: Yeah, definitely, I think that would be a good one.
- 17:57Sean McAllister: We've seen David Blaine fly around in there.
- 17:59Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and Katie's now ending, but yeah.
- 18:02Sean McAllister: Brian is ending.
- 18:03Sean McAllister: Carrie Underwood is going to be the only One of the announced residencies.
- 18:09Sean McAllister: It's gonna be continuing over there at the moment, so I don't know.
- 18:13Sean McAllister: I think that could be a good place for pink.
- 18:15Dayna Roselli: Yeah, yeah, definitely.
- 18:16Dayna Roselli: I mean she just deserves a show I think we were all waiting for.
- 18:18Dayna Roselli: We knew was gonna happen eventually.
- 18:19Dayna Roselli: Glad to hear the words out of her mouth.
- 18:22Sean McAllister: Yes, for finally, finally, finally.
- 18:25Dayna Roselli: Hey, a little heads up.
- 18:26Dayna Roselli: When we talk about f1 and things that are happening, we want to remind everyone, if you are coming in for f1, if you are staying on the Las Vegas strip for f1, things aren't gonna be like operating as normal.
- 18:39Dayna Roselli: There's a lot of changes and I know that one of the restaurants at the win had put out a note to people saying hey, you know, during those you know Few days, during f1 the formula one grand prix that's happening here in Las Vegas.
- 18:52Dayna Roselli: Keep in mind we are going to, you know, make, keep reservations for the people that are staying on our property.
- 18:59Dayna Roselli: Right, we're gonna hold reservations and take reservations for people that are staying on our property.
- 19:04Dayna Roselli: So call ahead, you know, see what the situation is like and we just assume that's probably gonna be the case for a lot of Restaurants, not all, not confirmed, but I think just best advice if you're staying at a property on the strip and you want to go to a restaurant at another property, you might want to call ahead or inquire.
- 19:21Sean McAllister: I'm not staying at your hotel but I want to come to your restaurant right, and I mean also just be aware that a lot of restaurants are booked out for months.
- 19:31Sean McAllister: So even if you're planning a trip, you know, down the line, even into the new year, it's wise to make reservations now.
- 19:38Sean McAllister: You can always change them if you need to, but just get something on the books, because if you just wait until day of, especially during f1, you're probably gonna be out of luck.
- 19:48Dayna Roselli: Yeah, no, so true, and you know it's just always a good idea to have that all so, and things are just gonna be so different for f1 too.
- 19:54Dayna Roselli: There's so many private parties.
- 19:56Sean McAllister: They are there.
- 19:56Dayna Roselli: You know there's so many people coming in as groups and businesses and companies and you know fans and yeah, I mean there's a lot, a lot of different things happening and I don't, I'm curious to see how this is all gonna go.
- 20:07Dayna Roselli: I'm excited about it to see how Las Vegas is gonna Move everything and shift everything and organize everything.
- 20:15Dayna Roselli: On the fingers crossed folks.
- 20:16Sean McAllister: Well, and for people who are not planning on going down to watch the race at the actual racetrack, there have been some free viewing parties announced.
- 20:27Sean McAllister: We're gonna have the details about that for you coming up in our tip segment.
- 20:31Sean McAllister: So you definitely want to stick around for that and again, it's free.
- 20:35Dayna Roselli: Hey, ferrari is the official sparkling wine of f1 and they invited us to a fabulous dinner at Lavo, at the Palazzo, and we went because we were like we want to taste this, we want to see what this is all about.
- 20:48Dayna Roselli: And you know it's interesting because this is the bottle that is gonna be, you know, like uncorked and popped when the winner wins.
- 20:56Sean McAllister: Yeah, it is the, the official Celebration beverage.
- 21:00Sean McAllister: Yeah, of f1 Ferrari Trento sparkling wine.
- 21:03Sean McAllister: They're out of Italy and we spoke with Matteo Lunelli, who's the head of Ferrari Trento sparkling wines, about their involvement with f1?
- 21:12Sean McAllister: .
- 21:13Matteo Lunelli: We started this partnership with Formula One because I think we share common values, which are, first, the search of excellence, passion, innovation, but also tradition, because, as much as Formula One has a long history, ferrari Trento we have over a century of history, because we were founded in 1902, in Trentino.
- 21:33Matteo Lunelli: So we are really proud to bring a touch of Italian lifestyle in the celebration of Formula One, because we are the first Italian sparkling wine to be dead and because, historically, it was always champagne on the podium of Formula One and proudly, we started in 2021 for the first year and we will be the official toast of Formula One at least up to 2025.
- 21:57Dayna Roselli: And when you say official toast, let's talk about that, because we are watching the Formula One race.
- 22:01Dayna Roselli: We have a big winner.
- 22:03Dayna Roselli: What are we going to see?
- 22:03Dayna Roselli: We are going to see your bottle there as part of the celebration.
- 22:08Matteo Lunelli: As I said, you will see the champions celebrating on the podium at the end of the race the three top drivers.
- 22:14Matteo Lunelli: They get the awards and then they get their bottle of Ferrari Trento and usually it's a celebration where they spray and they really have fun and then it's generally a party celebrating.
- 22:26Matteo Lunelli: But I have to say that the GP lasts for three days.
- 22:32Matteo Lunelli: It's a long weekend where all the guests enjoy certainly the racing but also enjoy great food and great wine and this is what we also really appreciate that also in Vegas, those who are attending the GP at the Pado Club will enjoy the qualifying and all the tests and in the meantime they can have great food and they can pair it with our Ferrari Trento sparkling wine.
- 23:01Matteo Lunelli: I always say Trento because Trento is our city of origin, is my own town, is really where everything you know where our wine comes from and the style of our wine is really determined by the mountain viticulture of Trentino.
- 23:18Sean McAllister: We are proud to say we are a mountain sparkling wine and obviously it's a celebration sparkling wine but people can make their own celebration all year round with Ferrari Trento here in Las Vegas and really around the world too, right.
- 23:35Matteo Lunelli: For sure, actually, as we did tonight.
- 23:38Matteo Lunelli: You know, Ferrari is also a great.
- 23:40Matteo Lunelli: It's very food friendly.
- 23:41Matteo Lunelli: I normally suggest that, yes, it's a celebratory wine, but it's perfect to pair with food.
- 23:47Matteo Lunelli: It's actually a traditional meto-sparking wine and it's one of the most flexible wine to pair with food.
- 23:53Matteo Lunelli: And so you know, and plus, you should find many occasions throughout the year to celebrate and to have a great glass of Ferrari Trento.
- 24:03Matteo Lunelli: Here in Vegas there are many restaurants that serve our wine.
- 24:07Matteo Lunelli: You know, one location that I could mention, for example, is Italy, because Italy the shop at the MGM, is really a great place for Italian food and wine.
- 24:18Matteo Lunelli: You can go there and enjoy Ferrari, or even buy a bottle and bring it home.
- 24:22Matteo Lunelli: For example, for those who are not going to watch the race, you can have a bottle of Ferrari Trento at home and perhaps watch the race and then celebrate like the champions.
- 24:31Matteo Lunelli: But generally, throughout the year, you can buy on the web, all throughout the United States, for example, on winecom, you can find, you know, our Ferrari Trento non-vintage, our Vintage Perlet, our Giulio Ferrari Reserva, so all the range.
- 24:46Matteo Lunelli: Here in Vegas we have many great customers and restaurants that will pair our wines, and I have to say that also thanks to the Partisci with Formula 1, Ferrari, trento is growing in the United States.
- 25:00Matteo Lunelli: Still, italy is our main market because we are the leading brand for luxury-sparking wine and we are.
- 25:08Matteo Lunelli: Italy is still our main market, but we are seeing a very strong growth in the United States, which is currently our second market worldwide.
- 25:15Dayna Roselli: Amazing Listen.
- 25:16Dayna Roselli: Thank you so much.
- 25:17Dayna Roselli: We're excited to have you here.
- 25:18Dayna Roselli: We're excited for you guys to be a part of our first inaugural Formula 1 race here in Las Vegas.
- 25:24Matteo Lunelli: Thank you, I'm also very excited and I really look forward to come back in November for the GP.
- 25:29Matteo Lunelli: This is really going to be unique.
- 25:31Matteo Lunelli: Somebody from the Organization of Formula 1 told me you know we're really going to go mega in Las Vegas and I see that this is really going to happen.
- 25:40Matteo Lunelli: We are all looking forward to the race.
- 25:44Matteo Lunelli: I know that for Vegas, these days before the race are complicated, also because of the construction and building, but I'm sure it's going to be a worldwide event that will bring Las Vegas on the international scene even more than what it is.
- 26:03Sean McAllister: We look forward to having you back in November, so see you soon and let's celebrate together with Ferrari.
- 26:08Matteo Lunelli: Trento Sounds good.
- 26:10Dayna Roselli: We'll cheers, cheers and let me tell you, the sparkling wines delicious.
- 26:15Dayna Roselli: We tried so many different kinds during our dinner with different courses, and it was so great to chat with the crew from Ferrari a Trento.
- 26:24Dayna Roselli: I mean they were in from Italy for like 24 or 48 hours Really quick, yeah, and some of them had never been to Vegas before, so we love that.
- 26:31Dayna Roselli: Then they were going over to Austin for the F1 race there.
- 26:35Dayna Roselli: They're coming back for the F1.
- 26:37Dayna Roselli: And they're just so proud.
- 26:38Dayna Roselli: I mean the bottle is gorgeous.
- 26:39Dayna Roselli: They're doing like a Vegas edition too.
- 26:42Sean McAllister: Yeah, it's actually a really cool.
- 26:44Sean McAllister: You kind of need to get more than one.
- 26:46Sean McAllister: You kind of need to get a set of three of the special edition Vegas F1 bottles and they run.
- 26:52Sean McAllister: I mean, they're under 40 bucks.
- 26:53Sean McAllister: Yep, we looked at total wine where you can order, but the cool thing about these boxes, when you line them up and put them together it spells Vegas.
- 27:06Sean McAllister: Well, it's up and down the bottle, but you put them together and it spells out Vegas, and there is the special F1 packaging.
- 27:12Sean McAllister: It is really cool and, even more importantly, it is delicious.
- 27:17Dayna Roselli: It really.
- 27:17Sean McAllister: Sparkling wine.
- 27:18Dayna Roselli: It really is.
- 27:19Dayna Roselli: I understand why they were chosen, that's for sure.
- 27:22Sean McAllister: I think that is going to be my host gift at a lot of holiday parties this year.
- 27:28Dayna Roselli: That's a great idea and we looked it up there.
- 27:29Dayna Roselli: They sell it at Total Wine right here in Las Vegas.
- 27:32Dayna Roselli: They're Total Wines all across the country, aren't there?
- 27:35Sean McAllister: I think it's a chain.
- 27:35Sean McAllister: I believe so.
- 27:36Sean McAllister: And if not, winecom has their wine too Ferrari Trento.
- 27:40Dayna Roselli: Hey, we do a segment on K-Cal in Los Angeles every other Thursday morning and we got an email after one of our segments from someone saying, hey, can you guys talk about this on the podcast?
- 27:51Dayna Roselli: And we're like sure.
- 27:52Sean McAllister: Absolutely so.
- 27:53Sean McAllister: There is a K-pop idol named Rainn who's actually the K-pop artist that bands like BTS and Blackpink have said in interviews that they look up to.
- 28:08Sean McAllister: That that's who they kind of were inspired by to launch their pop careers, and Rainn has a show coming up here in Las Vegas at MGM Grant.
- 28:18Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 28:19Dayna Roselli: So I mean a lot of people we think might wanna go to that or maybe, if you don't know, I'm sure it's gonna be huge.
- 28:25Dayna Roselli: And so we're excited that Rainn is coming to the MGM Grant in November.
- 28:29Dayna Roselli: And the reason that he actually wrote us is we were doing a segment on Usher and he said this is the K-pop Usher right.
- 28:37Sean McAllister: Yes, he is the K-pop Usher and the tour is called the Still Raining Tour, which makes sense.
- 28:44Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I love it.
- 28:44Dayna Roselli: He's still going, still raining.
- 28:47Sean McAllister: The show is November 25th again over at MGM Grand Garden Arena and you can get your tickets to that show now.
- 28:54Dayna Roselli: Okay, which reminds me, but I think the Ricky Martin Pitbull and Riké show's coming up right.
- 29:00Sean McAllister: Oh my gosh, that's right Right over Thanksgiving.
- 29:02Sean McAllister: Ah, that's gonna be so good.
- 29:05Sean McAllister: We did talk about getting tickets to that, didn't?
- 29:07Dayna Roselli: we, yeah, and then I'm going home for Thanksgiving.
- 29:09Dayna Roselli: You're not, so go and take videos with me, face time with you oh yeah, face time me.
- 29:14Dayna Roselli: That would be fun.
- 29:15Dayna Roselli: You know my mom could do like she loves Pitbull.
- 29:18Dayna Roselli: They do fireball in her Zumba class.
- 29:20Sean McAllister: Get ready, Diane, get those moves out.
- 29:22Sean McAllister: A live streamed concert is coming your way.
- 29:28Dayna Roselli: Somebody send Sean tickets?
- 29:29Dayna Roselli: Come on, we need a sponsorship for FaceTime concert sightings.
- 29:35Sean McAllister: There we go.
- 29:37Dayna Roselli: All right.
- 29:37Dayna Roselli: Well, let's do some tips now.
- 29:38Dayna Roselli: ["face Time Concert"].
- 29:41Dayna Roselli: All right, keeping with the F1 theme because we know a lot of you are coming in for that that listen to the podcast.
- 29:49Dayna Roselli: There is a new and I wouldn't say new new because it's been open for a little bit but a McLaren brand experience that is over at the win.
- 29:56Dayna Roselli: You and I have been to the win and like walk by and been like wow, what is that?
- 30:01Sean McAllister: And they always there's a car in that shop, always a really nice car, kind of like on display.
- 30:07Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and we were invited to one of the media events but we couldn't make it.
- 30:11Dayna Roselli: But we wanted to mention to everyone.
- 30:12Dayna Roselli: It's a really, it looks like it's a really cool thing.
- 30:15Dayna Roselli: If you're in for F1, you're gonna wanna stop by.
- 30:17Sean McAllister: Yeah, this is McLaren's brand experience.
- 30:20Sean McAllister: It's over there by the Awakening and Encore theaters.
- 30:24Sean McAllister: If you're familiar with the Win Las Vegas property, you can get up close and look at McLaren's supercars and their hypercars.
- 30:32Sean McAllister: You can learn more about the brand.
- 30:35Sean McAllister: I'm sure if you were interested in buying a McLaren they would entertain that notion as well while you're inside of the shop.
- 30:43Dayna Roselli: I think that's kind of the point of it, right, but just to get people excited about the brand and to see those vehicles they are.
- 30:53Sean McAllister: they're beautiful pieces of work, yeah really beautiful.
- 30:57Dayna Roselli: And it was funny cause I even said to you this is kind of off topic, but kind of I was like, oh, it's interesting.
- 31:02Dayna Roselli: When I was looking at the entertainment lineup for the weekend I was like Jay Leno is doing some standup that weekend, interesting.
- 31:06Dayna Roselli: And you were like Jay Leno is like a car enthusiast and I was like, oh yeah, I forgot, cause I've gone to the Jay Leno show or the tour and he's always got his cars in the back lot when he had the show, the tonight show, when he was the host of it.
- 31:17Sean McAllister: I should say yeah, and he's had, you know, cars shows, tv shows since he left the tonight show.
- 31:23Sean McAllister: So, yeah, I think there is going to be a big auto crowd that'll enjoy seeing Jay Leno up there on the marquee.
- 31:31Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and we didn't have this in there, but I wanted to just quickly mention that Netflix Cup is going to stream live from the win as well.
- 31:37Sean McAllister: That's on November 14th.
- 31:38Dayna Roselli: So if anyone wants to watch a live event from the win at the golf course, right, it's going to be a Formula One drivers and PGA champions going at it, for you know the winner, I guess, which is going to be really cool and keep your eye out if you tune in for that live event.
- 31:57Sean McAllister: I believe it's the first live streamed sporting event on Netflix.
- 32:03Sean McAllister: And, of course, what better place to have it than here in Las Vegas?
- 32:06Sean McAllister: And that golf course over at win has a prime view of the sphere also, so it'll be interesting to see how they weave that into the coverage.
- 32:16Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that will be.
- 32:16Dayna Roselli: I mean I'm sure it's going to be great, right it will.
- 32:19Sean McAllister: Looking forward to that, hey.
- 32:20Sean McAllister: Tip number two this week is also F1 related.
- 32:24Sean McAllister: I mentioned earlier there are free viewing parties for F1.
- 32:30Sean McAllister: This is where you'll watch the coverage up on big screens.
- 32:33Sean McAllister: There are three of them throughout the Las Vegas Valley on that Saturday night.
- 32:41Dayna Roselli: And we were excited to hear that, because even you and I were going.
- 32:43Dayna Roselli: Okay, where are we going to watch the race?
- 32:44Dayna Roselli: Like because we do want, I want to see this.
- 32:46Sean McAllister: Yeah, oh my gosh.
- 32:47Dayna Roselli: I mean, we didn't, you know, drive through cones for months and months to not watch it.
- 32:52Sean McAllister: No, that's at least watch and see how pretty the coverage is.
- 32:55Sean McAllister: But being right down in there, we might end up down there.
- 32:58Sean McAllister: But my feeling right now is to maybe go to one of these viewing parties.
- 33:03Sean McAllister: They're having one at government center amphitheater, which is in downtown Las Vegas.
- 33:08Sean McAllister: It's a good spot it is.
- 33:10Sean McAllister: It's a great spot.
- 33:10Sean McAllister: Another in downtown Henderson on the Water Street Plaza, which has a big screen there outside of the hockey facility in great seating.
- 33:20Sean McAllister: Also viewing party for military members and their families up at Nellis Air Force Base.
- 33:26Sean McAllister: Now, just be aware the Henderson and downtown events will have a bunch of food trucks there.
- 33:32Sean McAllister: You do have to RSVP to the event at government center in downtown Las Vegas and at Nellis, and again the one at Nellis is just for military Gates open at all those parties.
- 33:46Sean McAllister: 8 pm.
- 33:46Sean McAllister: There's a ceremony at 8.45.
- 33:47Sean McAllister: And then the race itself is 10 pm.
- 33:51Dayna Roselli: Okay, gosh yeah, that's gonna be good and fun to watch with a group of people.
- 33:55Sean McAllister: It will be yes, and if you want more information, we put a link down in our show notes as well.
- 34:02Dayna Roselli: Yeah a lot going on.
- 34:04Dayna Roselli: Like we said, it's just nonstop.
- 34:04Dayna Roselli: Durango Hotel and Casino is open soon.
- 34:08Dayna Roselli: Sherry Rooftop, a new open patio kind of bar, is opening at the Paris Las Vegas.
- 34:15Dayna Roselli: We just heard Lisa Vanderpump is now opening Pinkies over at Flamingo in 2024.
- 34:21Dayna Roselli: There's so many announcements coming in.
- 34:23Dayna Roselli: Keep an eye on our social media.
- 34:24Dayna Roselli: That's where we're trying to keep you up to date with all the current stuff that comes in.
- 34:27Dayna Roselli: But even that's, I mean Vegas is exploding.
- 34:31Sean McAllister: It is in every good way.
- 34:33Sean McAllister: But, yeah, social media is the place to see things that maybe we don't get to talk about here on the podcast, that we don't have time for, so always follow us.
- 34:43Dayna Roselli: Yes, thank you so much for joining us, and we will be back next week with more of Vegas Reveal.
