  name
• 0:15
  is

  Gary
• 0:15
  Spencer
• 0:17
  and

  that's

  the

  sound
• 0:20
  of
• 0:20
  the
• 0:21
  transfer
• 0:21
  window
• 0:23
  closing
• 0:23
  shut.
• 0:25
  Well,
• 0:25
  how
• 0:26
  was
• 0:26
  it?
• 0:26
  How
• 0:26
  was
• 0:27
  it
• 0:27
  for
• 0:27
  us?
• 0:27
  What
• 0:28
  do
• 0:28
  you
• 0:28
  think?
• 0:29
  What
• 0:29
  do
• 0:29
  you
• 0:29
  think
• 0:29
  about
• 0:29
  Mateta?
• 0:30
  And
• 0:30
  he's
• 0:31
  sulking
• 0:32
  and
• 0:32
  he's
• 0:32
  brooding
• 0:33
  and
• 0:33
  his
• 0:33
  Instagram
• 0:34
  posts
• 0:34
  And
• 0:35
  what
• 0:35
  do
• 0:35
  you
• 0:35
  think
• 0:35
  of
• 0:36
  Stran
• 0:36
  Larsen?
• 0:37
  Do
• 0:37
  you
• 0:37
  think
• 0:37
  he's
• 0:38
  a
• 0:38
  good
• 0:38
  player?
• 0:38
  Do
• 0:38
  you
• 0:38
  think
• 0:38
  he's
• 0:39
  worth
• 0:39
  the
• 0:39
  money?
• 0:40
  It's
• 0:40
  a
• 0:40
  lot
• 0:41
  of
• 0:41
  money.
• 0:42
  Was
• 0:43
  it
• 0:43
  43
• 0:44
  plus
• 0:44
  add
• 0:45
  ons?
• 0:45
  That's,
• 0:45
  that's
• 0:46
  going
• 0:46
  to
• 0:46
  be
• 0:46
  a
• 0:46
  lot
• 0:46
  of
• 0:46
  dough
• 0:47
  for
• 0:47
  Strand
• 0:47
  Larsen.
• 0:48
  But
• 0:49
  if
• 0:49
  he
• 0:50
  can
• 0:52
  recapture
• 0:53
  some
• 0:53
  of
• 0:53
  that
• 0:53
  form
• 0:53
  that
• 0:54
  he
• 0:54
  found
• 0:54
  last
• 0:54
  season,
• 0:55
  he
• 0:56
  could
• 0:56
  be
• 0:56
  a
• 0:57
  little
• 0:57
  bit
• 0:57
  of
• 0:57
  a
• 0:57
  surprise
• 0:58
  and
• 0:58
  do
• 0:58
  a
• 0:58
  good
• 0:58
  job
• 0:59
  for
• 0:59
  us.
• 0:59
  I
• 0:59
  thought
• 0:59
  we
• 1:00
  played
• 1:00
  very
• 1:00
  well.
• 1:00
  We'll
• 1:01
  talk,
• 1:01
  we'll
• 1:01
  talk
• 1:01
  about
• 1:02
  him
• 1:02
  in
• 1:02
  a
• 1:02
  second.
• 1:02
  But
• 1:03
  let's
• 1:04
  go
• 1:04
  back
• 1:04
  to
• 1:05
  Matata.
• 1:07
  For
• 1:08
  me,
• 1:10
  I
• 1:10
  think
• 1:11
  he's
• 1:12
  been
• 1:12
  a
• 1:12
  little
• 1:12
  bit
• 1:13
  out
• 1:13
  of
• 1:13
  order
• 1:13
  in
• 1:13
  the
• 1:13
  last
• 1:14
  few
• 1:14
  days
• 1:15
  this
• 1:15
  past
• 1:15
  week,
• 1:16
  actually.
• 1:18
  Not
• 1:18
  wanting
• 1:19
  to
• 1:19
  play,
• 1:19
  not
• 1:19
  being
• 1:20
  in
• 1:20
  the
• 1:20
  right
• 1:20
  frame
• 1:20
  of
• 1:21
  mind
• 1:21
  to
• 1:22
  play.
• 1:23
  Or
• 1:23
  was
• 1:24
  he
• 1:24
  injured?
• 1:24
  Was
• 1:25
  he
• 1:25
  injured
• 1:25
  all
• 1:25
  the
• 1:26
  time?
• 1:26
  You
• 1:27
  know,
• 1:27
  was
• 1:27
  his
• 1:28
  knee
• 1:29
  that
• 1:29
  bad
• 1:29
  that
• 1:30
  it
• 1:30
  made
• 1:30
  him
• 1:31
  not
• 1:31
  as
• 1:31
  mobile
• 1:34
  as
• 1:34
  before?
• 1:35
  And
• 1:35
  if
• 1:35
  that
• 1:35
  was
• 1:36
  the
• 1:36
  case,
• 1:36
  then
• 1:37
  just
• 1:38
  why
• 1:38
  play
• 1:38
  him
• 1:38
  at
• 1:38
  all?
• 1:39
  Just
• 1:39
  play
• 1:39
  Uchi
• 1:40
  up
• 1:40
  front.
• 1:40
  Because
• 1:40
  honestly,
• 1:41
  like,
• 1:41
  if
• 1:41
  you
• 1:41
  really
• 1:42
  think
• 1:42
  about
• 1:42
  it,
• 1:42
  if
• 1:43
  you
• 1:43
  look
• 1:43
  back
• 1:43
  to
• 1:44
  September,
• 1:44
  October,
• 1:47
  Mateta
• 1:48
  just
• 1:48
  hasn't
• 1:48
  been
• 1:49
  on
• 1:49
  it
• 1:49
  at
• 1:49
  all
• 1:50
  two
• 1:50
  shots
• 1:50
  ago.
• 1:51
  And
• 1:52
  forget
• 1:54
  he
• 1:54
  hasn't
• 1:54
  got
• 1:54
  a
• 1:55
  great
• 1:55
  goal
• 1:55
  return.
• 1:56
  Right.
• 1:56
  Matteta,
• 1:57
  if
• 1:57
  you
• 1:57
  look
• 1:57
  at
• 1:57
  the
• 1:57
  last
• 1:57
  five
• 1:58
  years
• 1:58
  or
• 1:59
  so,
• 2:01
  I
• 2:02
  don't
• 2:02
  know,
• 2:02
  was
• 2:02
  it
• 2:02
  140
• 2:03
  odd
• 2:03
  games,
• 2:04
  46
• 2:05
  goals,
• 2:07
  very
• 2:07
  close
• 2:08
  to
• 2:08
  that
• 2:11
  first
• 2:12
  18
• 2:13
  months
• 2:13
  or
• 2:13
  so
• 2:14
  a
• 2:14
  year.
• 2:14
  Dreadful.
• 2:15
  Yeah,
• 2:16
  just
• 2:16
  not
• 2:17
  with
• 2:17
  it
• 2:17
  at
• 2:18
  all.
• 2:20
  But
• 2:21
  because
• 2:22
  he
• 2:22
  scored
• 2:22
  that
• 2:22
  goal
• 2:23
  against
• 2:23
  Brighton,
• 2:24
  which
• 2:25
  I
• 2:25
  talk
• 2:26
  about
• 2:26
  a
• 2:26
  lot
• 2:26
  because
• 2:26
  it
• 2:27
  went
• 2:27
  through
• 2:27
  two
• 2:27
  Brighton
• 2:28
  defenders
• 2:28
  legs
• 2:29
  and
• 2:29
  nobody
• 2:30
  knew
• 2:30
  anything
• 2:31
  about
• 2:31
  it.
• 2:31
  At
• 2:31
  least
• 2:31
  Devon
• 2:32
  Mateta,
• 2:34
  he
• 2:34
  was
• 2:34
  lauded
• 2:35
  as
• 2:35
  a
• 2:35
  bit
• 2:35
  of
• 2:35
  a
• 2:35
  hero
• 2:36
  and
• 2:36
  he
• 2:37
  ate
• 2:37
  out
• 2:37
  on
• 2:37
  that
• 2:38
  for
• 2:38
  six
• 2:38
  months
• 2:39
  and
• 2:39
  that
• 2:39
  bought
• 2:39
  him
• 2:39
  another
• 2:40
  six
• 2:40
  months
• 2:41
  and
• 2:41
  eventually
• 2:42
  he
• 2:42
  found
• 2:43
  his
• 2:43
  footing
• 2:43
  with
• 2:43
  Glasner.
• 2:45
  Obviously
• 2:46
  Oliver
• 2:46
  Glasner
• 2:47
  really
• 2:47
  worked
• 2:47
  on
• 2:48
  his
• 2:48
  confidence
• 2:49
  and
• 2:49
  he
• 2:50
  started
• 2:50
  to
• 2:50
  score
• 2:50
  a
• 2:50
  few
• 2:51
  goals.
• 2:51
  I
• 2:51
  thought
• 2:51
  he
• 2:51
  played
• 2:51
  very
• 2:52
  well,
• 2:53
  but
• 2:53
  his
• 2:54
  return
• 2:54
  is
• 2:54
  very
• 2:55
  poor.
• 2:58
  It's
• 2:58
  not
• 2:58
  Shearer
• 2:59
  like,
• 2:59
  is
• 2:59
  it,
• 2:59
  by
• 3:00
  any
• 3:00
  standards.
• 3:01
  And
• 3:02
  you
• 3:02
  know,
• 3:04
  when
• 3:05
  a
• 3:05
  player
• 3:06
  comes
• 3:06
  in
• 3:07
  like
• 3:07
  that
• 3:08
  and
• 3:08
  has
• 3:08
  the
• 3:09
  type
• 3:09
  of
• 3:09
  career
• 3:09
  he's
• 3:09
  at
• 3:10
  palace,
• 3:11
  which
• 3:11
  is
• 3:11
  really,
• 3:12
  when
• 3:12
  you
• 3:12
  boil
• 3:12
  it
• 3:12
  down
• 3:13
  to
• 3:13
  a
• 3:13
  good
• 3:13
  season,
• 3:14
  if
• 3:14
  you
• 3:14
  put.
• 3:15
  He's
• 3:15
  had
• 3:16
  one
• 3:16
  really
• 3:16
  good
• 3:17
  season
• 3:17
  with
• 3:17
  us
• 3:18
  and
• 3:18
  he's
• 3:18
  behaving
• 3:19
  how
• 3:19
  he's
• 3:19
  behaving.
• 3:21
  Yeah,
• 3:22
  I
• 3:22
  can't
• 3:22
  swallow
• 3:23
  that
• 3:23
  at
• 3:23
  all,
• 3:23
  really.
• 3:24
  Let's
• 3:24
  not
• 3:24
  take.
• 3:25
  For
• 3:25
  me
• 3:26
  to
• 3:26
  get
• 3:26
  30
• 3:26
  million
• 3:27
  quid
• 3:27
  for
• 3:27
  him
• 3:28
  would
• 3:28
  have
• 3:28
  been
• 3:29
  fantastic.
• 3:31
  Now
• 3:31
  it
• 3:31
  seems
• 3:32
  he's
• 3:33
  probably
• 3:33
  never
• 3:33
  going
• 3:34
  to
• 3:34
  play
• 3:34
  for
• 3:34
  palace
• 3:34
  again.
• 3:35
  He's
• 3:35
  probably
• 3:35
  going
• 3:35
  to
• 3:36
  go
• 3:36
  and
• 3:36
  have
• 3:36
  some
• 3:36
  knee
• 3:37
  surgery
• 3:37
  and
• 3:38
  by
• 3:38
  the
• 3:38
  time
• 3:38
  he's
• 3:39
  recovered
• 3:41
  well,
• 3:42
  maybe
• 3:42
  a
• 3:42
  team
• 3:42
  will
• 3:43
  come
• 3:43
  in
• 3:43
  for
• 3:43
  him.
• 3:43
  If
• 3:43
  a
• 3:43
  team
• 3:43
  doesn't
• 3:44
  come
• 3:44
  in
• 3:44
  for
• 3:44
  him,
• 3:44
  then
• 3:45
  we're
• 3:45
  going
• 3:45
  to
• 3:45
  be
• 3:45
  stuck
• 3:45
  with
• 3:45
  him.
• 3:46
  Because
• 3:47
  one
• 3:47
  thing
• 3:47
  about
• 3:48
  being
• 3:49
  injured,
• 3:49
  you're
• 3:49
  going
• 3:49
  to
• 3:50
  have
• 3:50
  to
• 3:50
  play
• 3:50
  again
• 3:51
  to
• 3:52
  prove
• 3:53
  your
• 3:54
  fitness
• 3:55
  and
• 3:55
  to
• 3:55
  see
• 3:55
  if
• 3:56
  you
• 3:56
  still
• 3:56
  got
• 3:56
  it.
• 3:57
  But
• 3:57
  what
• 3:58
  would
• 3:58
  be
• 3:58
  our
• 3:58
  starting
• 3:59
  point
• 3:59
  to
• 3:59
  see
• 3:59
  if
• 3:59
  he
• 4:00
  still
• 4:00
  got
• 4:00
  it?
• 4:00
  Would
• 4:00
  it
• 4:00
  be
• 4:01
  the
• 4:01
  Mateta
• 4:01
  that
• 4:01
  we
• 4:02
  had
• 4:02
  a
• 4:03
  year
• 4:03
  ago
• 4:04
  or
• 4:04
  just
• 4:05
  before,
• 4:07
  I
• 4:08
  don't
• 4:08
  know,
• 4:09
  three
• 4:09
  or
• 4:09
  four
• 4:09
  months
• 4:10
  before
• 4:10
  that
• 4:10
  Millwall
• 4:11
  game
• 4:11
  where
• 4:11
  he
• 4:11
  got
• 4:11
  a
• 4:11
  bash
• 4:12
  on
• 4:12
  the
• 4:12
  head?
• 4:12
  Because
• 4:13
  also
• 4:13
  after
• 4:14
  he
• 4:14
  got
• 4:14
  that
• 4:14
  bash
• 4:14
  on
• 4:15
  the
• 4:15
  head,
• 4:16
  he
• 4:16
  didn't
• 4:16
  play
• 4:16
  well
• 4:17
  again
• 4:17
  until
• 4:18
  up
• 4:18
  around
• 4:18
  the
• 4:19
  Cup
• 4:19
  Final.
• 4:20
  That's
• 4:20
  when
• 4:20
  he
• 4:20
  started
• 4:21
  to
• 4:21
  be
• 4:21
  better
• 4:21
  again.
• 4:22
  But
• 4:23
  up
• 4:23
  until
• 4:23
  that
• 4:23
  point
• 4:24
  around
• 4:24
  there,
• 4:24
  he
• 4:25
  wasn't
• 4:25
  the
• 4:25
  same
• 4:26
  player
• 4:26
  either.
• 4:28
  Great
• 4:28
  thing
• 4:28
  about
• 4:28
  Mateta,
• 4:29
  when
• 4:29
  he's
• 4:29
  on
• 4:29
  it
• 4:30
  or
• 4:30
  when
• 4:30
  he
• 4:30
  fancies
• 4:31
  it,
• 4:32
  is
• 4:32
  that
• 4:32
  he
• 4:32
  can
• 4:33
  make
• 4:33
  himself
• 4:33
  busy
• 4:34
  up
• 4:34
  top,
• 4:35
  hold
• 4:35
  it
• 4:35
  up
• 4:36
  and
• 4:36
  just
• 4:37
  get
• 4:37
  it
• 4:37
  out
• 4:37
  to
• 4:37
  our
• 4:37
  wide
• 4:38
  players
• 4:39
  and
• 4:39
  then
• 4:40
  we
• 4:40
  can
• 4:40
  spin
• 4:40
  it
• 4:40
  into
• 4:41
  the
• 4:41
  box.
• 4:41
  I
• 4:41
  thought
• 4:41
  he
• 4:42
  played
• 4:42
  very
• 4:42
  well.
• 4:42
  He
• 4:43
  was
• 4:43
  really
• 4:43
  good
• 4:43
  at
• 4:43
  that.
• 4:44
  I
• 4:44
  mean,
• 4:44
  if
• 4:44
  you
• 4:45
  think
• 4:45
  about
• 4:45
  our
• 4:45
  game,
• 4:47
  that
• 4:47
  is
• 4:47
  our
• 4:48
  game,
• 4:48
  right?
• 4:48
  We
• 4:48
  get
• 4:48
  it
• 4:48
  at
• 4:49
  the
• 4:49
  back,
• 4:49
  we
• 4:49
  knock
• 4:49
  it
• 4:50
  into
• 4:50
  the
• 4:50
  midfield,
• 4:50
  they
• 4:51
  try
• 4:51
  and
• 4:51
  get
• 4:51
  it
• 4:51
  forward
• 4:51
  as
• 4:52
  quickly
• 4:52
  as
• 4:52
  possible.
• 4:55
  The
• 4:55
  front
• 4:55
  players
• 4:55
  hold
• 4:55
  it
• 4:56
  up,
• 4:56
  spin
• 4:56
  it
• 4:56
  out
• 4:56
  to
• 4:57
  the
• 4:57
  flanks
• 4:58
  and
• 4:58
  then
• 4:58
  we
• 4:58
  get
• 4:59
  it
• 4:59
  in
• 4:59
  the
• 4:59
  box
• 4:59
  when
• 4:59
  it
• 5:00
  either
• 5:00
  hits
• 5:00
  the
• 5:00
  first
• 5:01
  man
• 5:01
  or
• 5:01
  the
• 5:01
  second
• 5:01
  man
• 5:03
  and
• 5:03
  that's
• 5:03
  how
• 5:03
  we
• 5:04
  play.
• 5:04
  And,
• 5:04
  you
• 5:05
  know,
• 5:05
  maybe
• 5:05
  teams
• 5:06
  have
• 5:06
  worked
• 5:06
  us
• 5:06
  out,
• 5:08
  maybe
• 5:08
  that's
• 5:09
  part
• 5:09
  of
• 5:09
  it
• 5:09
  as
• 5:09
  well.
• 5:11
  But
• 5:12
  Mateta's
• 5:12
  definitely
• 5:13
  been
• 5:13
  off
• 5:13
  it
• 5:13
  and
• 5:14
  if
• 5:14
  we
• 5:14
  could
• 5:15
  have
• 5:15
  got
• 5:15
  30
• 5:15
  million
• 5:16
  quid
• 5:16
  for
• 5:16
  him,
• 5:18
  I'd
• 5:18
  have
• 5:18
  been
• 5:18
  very
• 5:19
  happy.
• 5:20
  Strand
• 5:21
  Larsen,
• 5:24
  well,
• 5:24
  he's
• 5:25
  a
• 5:25
  big.
• 5:25
  He's
• 5:25
  a
• 5:26
  big
• 5:26
  lump
• 5:26
  up
• 5:26
  there.
• 5:27
  And
• 5:27
  if
• 5:28
  he's
• 5:28
  just
• 5:28
  mobile
• 5:30
  and
• 5:31
  if
• 5:31
  he
• 5:31
  can
• 5:32
  hold
• 5:32
  the
• 5:32
  ball
• 5:32
  up,
• 5:33
  like
• 5:33
  I've
• 5:33
  been
• 5:33
  saying,
• 5:35
  and
• 5:36
  just
• 5:36
  enough
• 5:37
  so
• 5:37
  he's
• 5:37
  joined
• 5:37
  by
• 5:38
  the
• 5:38
  midfield
• 5:39
  and
• 5:39
  we
• 5:40
  can
• 5:40
  get
• 5:40
  in
• 5:41
  our
• 5:41
  patterns
• 5:41
  of
• 5:41
  play,
• 5:42
  then,
• 5:43
  yeah,
• 5:43
  fantastic.
• 5:44
  It'll
• 5:44
  be
• 5:44
  a
• 5:44
  good
• 5:44
  signing
• 5:45
  for
• 5:45
  us
• 5:46
  and
• 5:46
  I'm
• 5:46
  sure
• 5:46
  he'll
• 5:47
  pick
• 5:47
  up
• 5:47
  a
• 5:47
  goal
• 5:47
  or
• 5:47
  two.
• 5:48
  Listen,
• 5:48
  it
• 5:48
  can't
• 5:49
  be
• 5:49
  any
• 5:49
  worse
• 5:50
  than
• 5:50
  what
• 5:50
  we've
• 5:51
  got,
• 5:51
  right,
• 5:51
  because
• 5:52
  we've
• 5:52
  been
• 5:52
  dreadful,
• 5:53
  funnily
• 5:54
  Enough
• 5:54
  against
• 5:55
  Forest
• 5:55
  on
• 5:55
  Sunday,
• 5:57
  I
• 5:57
  thought
• 5:57
  that
• 5:57
  we
• 5:58
  showed
• 5:58
  a
• 5:58
  little
• 5:58
  bit
• 5:58
  more
• 5:59
  composure
• 5:59
  in
• 6:00
  front
• 6:00
  of
• 6:00
  goal.
• 6:00
  I
• 6:00
  thought
• 6:01
  we
• 6:01
  played
• 6:01
  very
• 6:01
  well.
• 6:01
  I
• 6:01
  mean,
• 6:02
  Hughes
• 6:02
  had
• 6:02
  one
• 6:02
  chance
• 6:03
  where
• 6:03
  he
• 6:03
  ballooned
• 6:03
  over
• 6:04
  the
• 6:04
  top,
• 6:04
  but
• 6:05
  he
• 6:05
  had
• 6:05
  a
• 6:05
  couple
• 6:05
  of
• 6:06
  other
• 6:06
  chances
• 6:06
  before
• 6:07
  then
• 6:07
  where
• 6:07
  he
• 6:08
  tried
• 6:08
  to
• 6:08
  side
• 6:08
  foot
• 6:09
  it
• 6:09
  into
• 6:09
  the
• 6:09
  goal.
• 6:10
  And
• 6:10
  I
• 6:11
  thought,
• 6:11
  oh,
• 6:11
  we
• 6:11
  look
• 6:11
  a
• 6:11
  little
• 6:12
  bit
• 6:12
  calmer
• 6:12
  in
• 6:12
  front
• 6:12
  of
• 6:12
  goal
• 6:13
  today.
• 6:14
  We
• 6:14
  look
• 6:14
  like
• 6:14
  we're
• 6:15
  going
• 6:15
  to
• 6:15
  make
• 6:15
  the
• 6:15
  right
• 6:15
  decisions.
• 6:17
  I
• 6:18
  wasn't
• 6:18
  surprised
• 6:19
  we
• 6:19
  didn't
• 6:19
  win
• 6:20
  up
• 6:20
  there
• 6:20
  because
• 6:21
  I
• 6:21
  thought
• 6:21
  we
• 6:22
  was
• 6:22
  going
• 6:22
  to
• 6:22
  get
• 6:22
  hammered
• 6:22
  up
• 6:23
  there
• 6:23
  personally.
• 6:24
  So
• 6:24
  to
• 6:24
  get
• 6:24
  a
• 6:24
  draw
• 6:25
  from
• 6:25
  there
• 6:27
  for
• 6:27
  me
• 6:27
  was
• 6:28
  a
• 6:28
  good
• 6:28
  starting
• 6:29
  point,
• 6:30
  albeit
• 6:31
  against
• 6:31
  10
• 6:31
  men.
• 6:32
  But
• 6:33
  sometimes
• 6:33
  you
• 6:33
  can't
• 6:34
  guarantee
• 6:34
  against
• 6:35
  10
• 6:35
  men.
• 6:36
  As
• 6:36
  we've
• 6:36
  seen
• 6:36
  before
• 6:37
  this
• 6:37
  season,
• 6:37
  teams
• 6:38
  have
• 6:38
  won
• 6:38
  with
• 6:38
  10
• 6:39
  men.
• 6:39
  So
• 6:41
  I
• 6:41
  felt
• 6:41
  that
• 6:41
  every
• 6:42
  game's
• 6:42
  tough
• 6:42
  for
• 6:42
  us
• 6:43
  at
• 6:43
  the
• 6:43
  moment
• 6:44
  and
• 6:45
  for
• 6:45
  us
• 6:45
  just
• 6:45
  to
• 6:45
  get
• 6:45
  a
• 6:46
  point
• 6:46
  up
• 6:46
  there
• 6:47
  was
• 6:47
  good
• 6:47
  enough.
• 6:48
  We'll
• 6:48
  take
• 6:48
  it,
• 6:49
  we'll
• 6:49
  take
• 6:49
  it,
• 6:49
  we'll
• 6:50
  move
• 6:50
  on
• 6:51
  and
• 6:52
  hopefully
• 6:53
  that's
• 6:53
  a
• 6:53
  turning
• 6:53
  point
• 6:53
  for
• 6:54
  us
• 6:54
  because
• 6:55
  as
• 6:55
  each
• 6:55
  week
• 6:55
  goes
• 6:56
  by,
• 6:57
  more
• 6:57
  players
• 6:57
  come
• 6:58
  back
• 6:58
  from
• 6:58
  injury
• 6:59
  and
• 6:59
  we're
• 7:00
  going
• 7:00
  to
• 7:00
  get
• 7:00
  stronger.
• 7:00
  We
• 7:01
  have
• 7:01
  to
• 7:01
  get
• 7:01
  stronger.
• 7:02
  What
• 7:02
  I
• 7:02
  would
• 7:03
  say
• 7:03
  is
• 7:04
  there's
• 7:04
  a
• 7:05
  lot
• 7:05
  of
• 7:05
  palace
• 7:05
  fans
• 7:06
  out
• 7:06
  there
• 7:06
  which
• 7:06
  are
• 7:08
  kind
• 7:08
  of
• 7:08
  expecting
• 7:09
  us
• 7:09
  to
• 7:09
  do
• 7:10
  well
• 7:11
  in
• 7:11
  the
• 7:11
  Europa
• 7:12
  Conference
• 7:12
  League
• 7:13
  and
• 7:14
  let's
• 7:14
  just
• 7:14
  drop
• 7:15
  that
• 7:15
  out
• 7:15
  of
• 7:15
  our
• 7:16
  minds.
• 7:17
  We've
• 7:17
  really
• 7:18
  struggled
• 7:18
  in
• 7:19
  the
• 7:19
  competition
• 7:19
  as
• 7:20
  it
• 7:20
  is.
• 7:20
  We
• 7:21
  have
• 7:21
  to
• 7:21
  qualify
• 7:22
  to
• 7:22
  get
• 7:22
  into
• 7:23
  the
• 7:23
  last
• 7:23
  16
• 7:24
  and
• 7:27
  I
• 7:28
  don't
• 7:28
  know
• 7:28
  if
• 7:28
  that's
• 7:28
  going
• 7:28
  to
• 7:29
  happen.
• 7:29
  And
• 7:29
  I
• 7:29
  really
• 7:30
  can't
• 7:30
  see
• 7:30
  us
• 7:30
  winning
• 7:30
  it.
• 7:31
  I
• 7:31
  can't
• 7:31
  see
• 7:31
  us
• 7:31
  getting
• 7:32
  even
• 7:32
  close
• 7:32
  to
• 7:32
  winning
• 7:33
  it.
• 7:35
  I've
• 7:35
  said
• 7:35
  for
• 7:35
  years
• 7:36
  that
• 7:38
  our
• 7:38
  club
• 7:39
  is
• 7:39
  not
• 7:39
  the
• 7:40
  type
• 7:40
  of
• 7:40
  club
• 7:40
  to
• 7:40
  compete
• 7:41
  in
• 7:41
  Europe.
• 7:41
  We
• 7:41
  don't
• 7:42
  have
• 7:42
  the
• 7:42
  depth.
• 7:43
  I
• 7:43
  think
• 7:43
  that's
• 7:43
  been
• 7:43
  proven.
• 7:44
  So
• 7:44
  let's
• 7:44
  just
• 7:44
  talk
• 7:45
  about
• 7:45
  our
• 7:45
  performance.
• 7:46
  It's
• 7:46
  very,
• 7:46
  very
• 7:47
  difficult
• 7:47
  to
• 7:47
  keep
• 7:48
  your
• 7:48
  first
• 7:49
  11
• 7:49
  fit.
• 7:50
  Either
• 7:51
  they're
• 7:51
  going
• 7:51
  to
• 7:51
  get
• 7:52
  physically
• 7:52
  tired
• 7:52
  or
• 7:53
  mentally
• 7:53
  tired
• 7:53
  and
• 7:54
  we've
• 7:54
  got
• 7:55
  both.
• 7:56
  And
• 7:57
  yeah,
• 7:58
  you
• 7:58
  know,
• 7:58
  Crystal
• 7:59
  palace,
• 8:00
  our
• 8:00
  business
• 8:01
  model
• 8:01
  is
• 8:01
  really
• 8:02
  just
• 8:02
  to
• 8:02
  stay
• 8:02
  in
• 8:03
  the
• 8:03
  division.
• 8:03
  It
• 8:04
  must
• 8:04
  have
• 8:04
  broke
• 8:05
  the
• 8:05
  bald
• 8:05
  hearts
• 8:06
  this
• 8:06
  past
• 8:06
  week
• 8:07
  to
• 8:08
  spend
• 8:08
  that
• 8:08
  money
• 8:09
  on
• 8:09
  Strand
• 8:09
  Larsen
• 8:10
  and
• 8:10
  get
• 8:11
  nothing
• 8:11
  back
• 8:11
  with
• 8:11
  Mateta.
• 8:14
  Of
• 8:14
  course
• 8:14
  that's
• 8:14
  why
• 8:14
  they
• 8:15
  dropped
• 8:15
  the
• 8:15
  Everton
• 8:15
  lad,
• 8:16
  because
• 8:17
  they
• 8:17
  didn't
• 8:17
  want
• 8:17
  to
• 8:17
  fork
• 8:17
  out
• 8:18
  another
• 8:18
  20
• 8:18
  million.
• 8:19
  Listen,
• 8:19
  I
• 8:19
  don't
• 8:20
  blame
• 8:20
  the
• 8:20
  board
• 8:20
  at
• 8:20
  all.
• 8:21
  I
• 8:21
  don't
• 8:21
  blame
• 8:22
  Paris.
• 8:22
  I
• 8:22
  don't
• 8:23
  blame
• 8:23
  any
• 8:23
  of
• 8:23
  the
• 8:23
  board.
• 8:24
  I
• 8:25
  like
• 8:25
  watching
• 8:26
  Crystal
• 8:26
  palace
• 8:27
  in
• 8:27
  the
• 8:27
  Premier
• 8:27
  League
• 8:28
  and
• 8:28
  if
• 8:28
  they
• 8:28
  stay
• 8:28
  in
• 8:29
  the
• 8:29
  Premier
• 8:29
  League
• 8:29
  and
• 8:29
  that's
• 8:30
  all
• 8:30
  they
• 8:30
  do
• 8:31
  I'm
• 8:31
  happy
• 8:31
  with
• 8:32
  that
• 8:32
  because
• 8:33
  I've
• 8:33
  watched
• 8:34
  them
• 8:34
  forever.
• 8:35
  I've
• 8:35
  watched
• 8:35
  palace
• 8:36
  since
• 8:36
  the
• 8:36
  60s,
• 8:37
  so
• 8:38
  for
• 8:38
  me,
• 8:39
  I'm
• 8:39
  happy
• 8:39
  with
• 8:40
  them
• 8:40
  playing
• 8:40
  every
• 8:40
  week
• 8:41
  in
• 8:41
  the
• 8:41
  Premier
• 8:41
  League.
• 8:42
  I
• 8:42
  don't
• 8:42
  expect
• 8:43
  them
• 8:43
  to
• 8:43
  be
• 8:43
  world
• 8:44
  beaters.
• 8:45
  And
• 8:46
  this
• 8:47
  whole
• 8:47
  podcast
• 8:48
  was
• 8:48
  called
• 8:48
  team
• 8:48
  of
• 8:48
  the
• 8:48
  80s
• 8:49
  because
• 8:50
  that
• 8:50
  was
• 8:50
  the
• 8:51
  dream
• 8:51
  back
• 8:52
  then
• 8:52
  that
• 8:52
  we
• 8:53
  were
• 8:53
  going
• 8:53
  to
• 8:53
  be
• 8:53
  the
• 8:53
  team
• 8:54
  of
• 8:54
  the
• 8:54
  80s.
• 8:54
  And
• 8:55
  you
• 8:55
  know
• 8:55
  how
• 8:55
  long
• 8:55
  we
• 8:55
  lasted?
• 8:57
  Probably
• 8:57
  lasted
• 8:57
  about
• 8:58
  eight
• 8:58
  months.
• 8:59
  We
• 8:59
  had
• 8:59
  eight
• 8:59
  months
• 9:00
  in
• 9:00
  the
• 9:00
  sun
• 9:01
  between
• 9:01
  79
• 9:02
  and
• 9:02
  80
• 9:03
  where
• 9:03
  we
• 9:03
  were
• 9:03
  pretty
• 9:03
  special.
• 9:04
  But
• 9:05
  that
• 9:05
  was
• 9:05
  it.
• 9:05
  The
• 9:05
  team
• 9:05
  broke
• 9:06
  up
• 9:07
  and
• 9:07
  then
• 9:07
  we
• 9:08
  became
• 9:08
  same
• 9:09
  old,
• 9:09
  same
• 9:09
  old
• 9:09
  Crystal
• 9:10
  palace,
• 9:11
  and
• 9:11
  that's
• 9:11
  where
• 9:11
  we
• 9:12
  are
• 9:12
  now.
• 9:13
  So
• 9:14
  let's
• 9:14
  be
• 9:14
  thankful
• 9:14
  for
• 9:15
  what
• 9:15
  we
• 9:15
  got.
• 9:16
  Let's
• 9:17
  enjoy
• 9:17
  watching
• 9:18
  the
• 9:18
  team
• 9:19
  and
• 9:19
  let's
• 9:19
  not
• 9:20
  just
• 9:20
  build
• 9:20
  our
• 9:20
  expectations
• 9:21
  up
• 9:21
  too
• 9:21
  high.
• 9:22
  Thinking
• 9:22
  about
• 9:23
  Glasner,
• 9:25
  how
• 9:25
  Glasner's
• 9:26
  been,
• 9:27
  I
• 9:27
  feel
• 9:27
  he
• 9:27
  could
• 9:28
  give
• 9:28
  us
• 9:28
  more.
• 9:31
  I
• 9:31
  get
• 9:31
  it.
• 9:31
  He's
• 9:31
  had
• 9:32
  injuries
• 9:32
  and
• 9:33
  we've
• 9:33
  had
• 9:33
  to
• 9:33
  sell
• 9:34
  players,
• 9:35
  but
• 9:35
  I
• 9:35
  still
• 9:36
  feel
• 9:36
  we
• 9:36
  have
• 9:36
  enough
• 9:37
  talent
• 9:37
  out
• 9:37
  there
• 9:38
  and
• 9:40
  enough
• 9:42
  ability
• 9:43
  to
• 9:43
  win
• 9:43
  a
• 9:44
  football
• 9:44
  match.
• 9:44
  And
• 9:45
  we
• 9:45
  haven't
• 9:45
  won
• 9:45
  one
• 9:45
  for
• 9:45
  a
• 9:46
  long
• 9:46
  time.
• 9:47
  So
• 9:47
  I
• 9:48
  know
• 9:48
  that
• 9:48
  he's
• 9:48
  probably
• 9:49
  got
• 9:49
  his
• 9:49
  head
• 9:50
  somewhere
• 9:50
  else,
• 9:51
  but
• 9:51
  I
• 9:52
  think
• 9:52
  he
• 9:52
  could
• 9:52
  have
• 9:52
  given
• 9:52
  us
• 9:53
  more.
• 9:54
  And
• 9:54
  again,
• 9:55
  thinking
• 9:55
  about
• 9:56
  the
• 9:56
  board
• 9:57
  and
• 9:57
  Parish,
• 9:59
  just
• 10:00
  remember
• 10:00
  that
• 10:01
  it's
• 10:01
  the
• 10:02
  very
• 10:02
  same
• 10:02
  board
• 10:03
  that
• 10:03
  appointed
• 10:04
  Glasner
• 10:05
  and
• 10:06
  the
• 10:07
  very
• 10:07
  same
• 10:07
  board
• 10:07
  that
• 10:08
  won
• 10:08
  the
• 10:08
  FA
• 10:08
  cup
• 10:10
  in
• 10:10
  the
• 10:10
  Charity
• 10:10
  Shield
• 10:12
  and
• 10:12
  brought
• 10:13
  in
• 10:13
  Dougie
• 10:13
  Friedman.
• 10:15
  It's
• 10:16
  just
• 10:16
  that,
• 10:17
  you
• 10:17
  know,
• 10:17
  when
• 10:17
  things
• 10:18
  are
• 10:18
  bad,
• 10:18
  you
• 10:19
  tend
• 10:19
  to
• 10:19
  point
• 10:19
  your
• 10:19
  fingers
• 10:20
  everywhere.
• 10:21
  And
• 10:21
  I
• 10:21
  think
• 10:21
  Steve
• 10:21
  Parish
• 10:22
  has
• 10:22
  done
• 10:22
  a
• 10:22
  really
• 10:22
  good
• 10:23
  job
• 10:23
  of
• 10:24
  running
• 10:24
  Crystal
• 10:25
  Palace
• 10:25
  Football
• 10:25
  Club.
• 10:26
  Pragmatic.
• 10:27
  Yes,
• 10:28
  he
• 10:28
  is.
• 10:29
  But
• 10:29
  like
• 10:29
  I
• 10:29
  say,
• 10:30
  as
• 10:30
  long
• 10:30
  as
• 10:30
  they
• 10:30
  stay
• 10:30
  in
• 10:31
  the
• 10:31
  division,
• 10:32
  he's
• 10:32
  happy
• 10:32
  with
• 10:33
  that.
• 10:34
  So
• 10:35
  let's
• 10:35
  just
• 10:36
  try
• 10:36
  and
• 10:36
  get
• 10:36
  behind
• 10:36
  the
• 10:37
  team,
• 10:37
  hope
• 10:37
  for
• 10:37
  the
• 10:37
  best
• 10:38
  with
• 10:38
  Strand
• 10:38
  Larson.
• 10:40
  He's
• 10:41
  young,
• 10:41
  he's
• 10:41
  25.
• 10:42
  Right.
• 10:43
  And
• 10:44
  let's
• 10:44
  just
• 10:44
  see
• 10:45
  what
• 10:45
  we
• 10:45
  can
• 10:45
  do.
• 10:46
  Pino.
• 10:47
  Pino's
• 10:48
  Pinot.
• 10:49
  Will
• 10:49
  Pino
• 10:50
  play
• 10:50
  when
• 10:50
  Daichi's
• 10:51
  back?
• 10:51
  I
• 10:52
  doubt
• 10:52
  it.
• 10:53
  Sars
• 10:54
  looking.
• 10:56
  Sars
• 10:57
  looking
• 10:57
  okay.
• 10:57
  You
• 10:58
  know,
• 10:58
  Sars,
• 10:58
  sorry.
• 10:59
  Gives.
• 10:59
  He
• 10:59
  gives
• 10:59
  us
• 10:59
  a
• 11:00
  lot.
• 11:00
  I
• 11:00
  thought
• 11:00
  his
• 11:00
  penalty
• 11:01
  on.
• 11:01
  On
• 11:02
  Sunday
• 11:02
  was
• 11:02
  excellent.
• 11:04
  It
• 11:04
  was
• 11:04
  a
• 11:04
  pressure
• 11:05
  penalty
• 11:05
  for
• 11:05
  him
• 11:06
  because,
• 11:06
  like
• 11:06
  I
• 11:06
  say,
• 11:07
  everybody's
• 11:07
  confidence
• 11:07
  is
• 11:08
  so
• 11:08
  low
• 11:08
  in
• 11:08
  the
• 11:08
  club.
• 11:09
  And
• 11:09
  I
• 11:09
  thought
• 11:10
  he
• 11:10
  handled
• 11:10
  it
• 11:10
  very
• 11:11
  well.
• 11:12
  And
• 11:13
  I
• 11:13
  was
• 11:13
  happy
• 11:13
  with
• 11:14
  the
• 11:14
  back
• 11:14
  line
• 11:14
  as
• 11:14
  well.
• 11:16
  We
• 11:16
  got
• 11:16
  two
• 11:17
  warriors
• 11:17
  back
• 11:17
  there
• 11:17
  in
• 11:18
  Richards
• 11:18
  and
• 11:18
  Lacroix.
• 11:20
  I
• 11:20
  particularly
• 11:20
  like
• 11:21
  Lacroix.
• 11:21
  I
• 11:21
  think
• 11:22
  he's
• 11:22
  a
• 11:22
  very
• 11:23
  sound
• 11:24
  player.
• 11:25
  I
• 11:26
  just
• 11:26
  had
• 11:26
  a
• 11:26
  thought
• 11:26
  in
• 11:27
  my
• 11:27
  head
• 11:27
  about
• 11:27
  the
• 11:28
  Dean
• 11:28
  Henderson
• 11:29
  interview
• 11:29
  where
• 11:29
  he
• 11:29
  said,
• 11:30
  everybody
• 11:30
  knows
• 11:30
  what
• 11:30
  the
• 11:31
  problem
• 11:31
  is,
• 11:31
  but
• 11:31
  we
• 11:31
  can't
• 11:32
  talk
• 11:32
  about
• 11:32
  it.
• 11:35
  I
• 11:35
  think
• 11:36
  everybody's
• 11:36
  making
• 11:36
  a
• 11:37
  bit
• 11:37
  of
• 11:37
  a
• 11:37
  drama
• 11:38
  about
• 11:38
  that
• 11:38
  comment
• 11:39
  because
• 11:39
  I
• 11:40
  just
• 11:40
  think
• 11:40
  that
• 11:40
  they
• 11:40
  probably
• 11:41
  identified
• 11:41
  the
• 11:42
  problem
• 11:42
  and
• 11:42
  it's
• 11:43
  just
• 11:43
  best
• 11:43
  that
• 11:43
  it's
• 11:43
  kept
• 11:44
  between
• 11:44
  the
• 11:44
  team.
• 11:45
  Doesn't
• 11:46
  mean
• 11:46
  about
• 11:46
  any
• 11:46
  one
• 11:47
  individual,
• 11:47
  I
• 11:47
  don't
• 11:48
  think.
• 11:48
  I
• 11:48
  mean,
• 11:48
  if
• 11:49
  you
• 11:49
  think
• 11:49
  about
• 11:49
  it,
• 11:49
  we've
• 11:49
  got
• 11:50
  a
• 11:50
  multitude
• 11:51
  of
• 11:51
  problems.
• 11:51
  So
• 11:51
  he
• 11:51
  could
• 11:52
  have
• 11:52
  been
• 11:52
  talking
• 11:52
  about
• 11:52
  anything.
• 11:53
  So
• 11:53
  that's
• 11:53
  it
• 11:53
  from
• 11:54
  me
• 11:54
  this
• 11:54
  week.
• 11:55
  Please
• 11:56
  keep
• 11:56
  listening,
• 11:57
  liking,
• 11:57
  commenting
• 11:58
  and
• 11:59
  subscribing.
• 12:00
  I'm
• 12:00
  on
• 12:00
  YouTube,
• 12:01
  Instagram,
• 12:02
  TikTok,
• 12:03
  all
• 12:03
  the
• 12:03
  usual
• 12:04
  suspects.
• 12:05
  And
• 12:05
  I'll
• 12:05
  see
• 12:06
  you
• 12:06
  next
• 12:06
  week.
• 12:06
  And
• 12:07
  I
• 12:07
  think
• 12:08
  all
• 12:08
  in
• 12:08
  all,
• 12:09
  we
• 12:09
  got
• 12:09
  through
• 12:09
  that
• 12:10
  transfer
• 12:10
  window.
• 12:10
  Very
• 12:11
  good.
• 12:11
  So
• 12:12
  thanks
• 12:12
  again
• 12:12
  for
• 12:12
  listening
• 12:13
  and
• 12:13
  I'll
• 12:13
  speak
• 12:13
  to
• 12:14
  you
• 12:14
  soon.
• 12:14
  Bye.
• 12:14
  Bye.
