- 0:00Speaker 1: Because fuck you, that's why, is a founding member of
- 0:02Speaker 1: the Odd Pods Media Network.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Hello, and welcome to this episode of b fy t W.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Episode number half is two nine three. There it is episode.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Two nine three. Holy hell. Seven more episodes to episode
- 0:47Speaker 1: three hundred. Yes, what the fuck.
- 0:50Speaker 2: So fast? Honestly, this whole year ended quickly, faster than
- 0:55Speaker 2: I even expected. But I digress, So once again, welcome
- 0:59Speaker 2: to b fy t I am your host today, Aggie
- 1:02Speaker 2: Doggy zero eight, also known as Aggie, also known as
- 1:06Speaker 2: the guy who hates answering Aaron's questions.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Well you always asked me questions on this trivia type show.
- 1:13Speaker 1: I hate it. Why are we on trial here with
- 1:15Speaker 1: the fuck anyways? Yes? Hello, As you can.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Tell, Aaron is not here again, so that means we
- 1:22Speaker 2: have to once again govern ourselves and we can't do
- 1:25Speaker 2: We're we're not very good at that. So instead we've
- 1:29Speaker 2: decided to opt for more of a chill show today
- 1:31Speaker 2: instead of trying to play any silly games. We do
- 1:34Speaker 2: have a number of topics we'd like to go over.
- 1:36Speaker 1: First. I'd like to first introduce you to my fellow
- 1:39Speaker 1: co host. He is a.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Veteran and a podcaster and as it turns out, a
- 1:44Speaker 2: veteran podcaster.
- 1:45Speaker 1: It is Steve. It's steveee, It's Steve. What It's true.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Yep, the man who's been doing this since twenty nineteen
- 1:56Speaker 2: and hasn't gotten any better.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Nope, said, I think this has been way long. Came
- 2:01Speaker 1: in a champion and he stayed that way. Oh thank you,
- 2:05Speaker 1: thank you. I've forture. That means you hit a ceiling.
- 2:07Speaker 1: So it's all downhill from here. Everybody's got to peak somewhere.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I peaked six years ago and I'm still there or
- 2:16Speaker 1: under digress down now. But I'm okay with that. I'm
- 2:19Speaker 1: so okay with that. Today my question for you is,
- 2:24Speaker 1: what are we smoking again? Oh? Fuck Like.
- 2:27Speaker 2: It is a chill show after all, So I don't
- 2:31Speaker 2: really have anything totally prepared on a few maybe talking points.
- 2:36Speaker 2: But as you may have mentioned prior to our show,
- 2:38Speaker 2: we'll be getting to our Patreon members. By the way,
- 2:40Speaker 2: if you are on our Patreon, you get behind the
- 2:42Speaker 2: scenes of all our ship that we do. Sometimes it's
- 2:45Speaker 2: funnier than what we do here on the show itself.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Give it a look, literally ten times more content than
- 2:51Speaker 2: what we give out for Freeze so and for five
- 2:53Speaker 2: bucks a month.
- 2:54Speaker 1: How can you complain?
- 2:55Speaker 2: Yeah, but today we are taking a chill show, smoking
- 2:59Speaker 2: some stuff from a very lovely dispensary.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Uh here in Lockport Peace, Love and Bud I Love
- 3:08Speaker 1: it Self. Transit Road, Lockport, New York. It's in this
- 3:11Speaker 1: little plaza.
- 3:12Speaker 2: It's awesome, amazing people star and honestly high quality. Everything
- 3:19Speaker 2: is honestly not not a single disappointment.
- 3:21Speaker 1: No, we spend.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Any disappointments, will never was never their fault to begin with,
- 3:26Speaker 2: you know, manufacturing.
- 3:27Speaker 1: What are you gonna do? Yeah, we stopped in yesterday.
- 3:30Speaker 1: It was Halloween yesterday. I'll recording this on Saturday morning
- 3:33Speaker 1: and morning, like I'm gonna have to like guess what
- 3:36Speaker 1: We're doing Saturday morning smoking this stuff. But we stopped
- 3:40Speaker 1: in there, you know, was happy Halloween what not, grabbed
- 3:43Speaker 1: a few things and I was recommended this rove presidential
- 3:48Speaker 1: moon rock blunt. So this does sounding crazy. And what
- 3:55Speaker 1: they call the moon rocks is it because of the
- 3:56Speaker 1: way they look, or it's the concentrate, it's the type
- 3:59Speaker 1: of concentrated is it's like the little uh wax crystals
- 4:02Speaker 1: almost Okay, So it's usually the moon rock is a
- 4:05Speaker 1: traditional moon rock is a nug of marijuana coated in
- 4:11Speaker 1: wax and powdered with keith, usually something around those lines.
- 4:16Speaker 1: So this should be all that rolled into a blunt.
- 4:20Speaker 1: So it is thirty six point five percent thc zero
- 4:23Speaker 1: point seventy one percent CBD. What the fuck? So you're getting,
- 4:27Speaker 1: Oh my god, there's so much nurse follower distilling in
- 4:30Speaker 1: diamonds and this is a cherry gelado. So let me
- 4:33Speaker 1: get this one. Yes, it's brown paper. Yeah, so I
- 4:38Speaker 1: lets use follow it an organic wrap. What we'll do
- 4:43Speaker 1: is see if I can get this to uh come
- 4:45Speaker 1: up here so they can see what it looks. It
- 4:47Speaker 1: does say presidential on it, Yeah, so marked and everything.
- 4:50Speaker 1: It's kind of nice. It's a very nice wrap. So,
- 4:56Speaker 1: oh god, you can see this is for our members.
- 5:00Speaker 2: You are seeing some really up close and personal Uh
- 5:05Speaker 2: Stevie hands there if you're into that sexy his hands,
- 5:09Speaker 2: his pale white, ghostly hands as they reach out for you,
- 5:14Speaker 2: reach out coming again the game.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Anyways. So yeah, this is a cherry gelato. So this
- 5:23Speaker 1: is gonna be a fairly strong and euphoric is what
- 5:26Speaker 1: I was told. We needed something uplifting, relaxing and creative.
- 5:29Speaker 1: It says the flavor is tropical berry and sweetness. Oh yeah,
- 5:34Speaker 1: so there's just when I opened it up, I was like, oh,
- 5:36Speaker 1: it smells so sweet nice. Oh yeah, oh wow, Yeah,
- 5:41Speaker 1: he's got a nice sweet scent to it. Yeah. Well,
- 5:44Speaker 1: while you are lighting that, I will.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Go ahead and I guess introduce myself that I am
- 5:50Speaker 2: a gamer, I am a storyteller. I used to be
- 5:52Speaker 2: Aaron's youngest friend, and now I'm just a friend to all.
- 5:55Speaker 2: I am Augie everybody's friends. Yes, and my question to
- 6:13Speaker 2: myself would be what did I do last night? Anyone
- 6:17Speaker 2: who don't know we are recording the day after Halloween,
- 6:20Speaker 2: I hope you had a nice, safe and fun Halloween.
- 6:22Speaker 2: I hope everybody had a good time. If you lived
- 6:26Speaker 2: on the East Coast like where we are, you probably
- 6:27Speaker 2: know us. It was a little bit colder this year,
- 6:29Speaker 2: probably reminiscent of when you were kids, of how you
- 6:32Speaker 2: had to dress up in fucking winter clothing under your
- 6:36Speaker 2: fucking costumes back in the day.
- 6:39Speaker 1: That's so true too.
- 6:40Speaker 2: That is good, right, But the question for me is
- 6:44Speaker 2: what did I do last night? And the answer is
- 6:47Speaker 2: I fell asleep.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Not wrong, not wrong.
- 6:51Speaker 2: That a whole lot going on, don't eat a whole
- 6:54Speaker 2: lot of candy, don't do the trick or treating.
- 6:56Speaker 1: That was a problem. I think if you ate more
- 6:57Speaker 1: candy would have been away.
- 6:58Speaker 2: I think if I ate more candy, I would have
- 6:59Speaker 2: felt sleep sooner. Honestly, that's probably true. Yeah, I just
- 7:04Speaker 2: woke up with a cavity. But uh, yeah, you, on
- 7:09Speaker 2: the other hand, I know you ate a lot of candy.
- 7:11Speaker 2: I usually you were probably our only trick or treater.
- 7:14Speaker 1: No, I was not the only trigger treader. I was
- 7:17Speaker 1: a trick or treator to our own house. To be fair,
- 7:19Speaker 1: though I did buy the candy. Yeah, you did buy
- 7:22Speaker 1: the can. But we don't get too many trigger like
- 7:25Speaker 1: we used to. We don't.
- 7:26Speaker 2: We don't live in like a heavily urbanized area. It's
- 7:30Speaker 2: pretty wide open out this way. It's nice.
- 7:33Speaker 1: It's quiet.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Neighbors are way beyond and arms reach away from you,
- 7:37Speaker 2: so you're not like looking at each other's windows every
- 7:39Speaker 2: time you go walking into the bathroom, which is nice.
- 7:43Speaker 2: But because of that, kids don't want to walk those distances.
- 7:48Speaker 2: It's just easier to go to a heavily dense area
- 7:51Speaker 2: and literally walk five feet to a door.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Yeah, which I get. So you understandable, understandable.
- 7:57Speaker 2: We were talking about it earlier, like, yeah, it's not
- 8:00Speaker 2: the same like it used to be back in the day.
- 8:02Speaker 1: It didn't matter how much candy you got, like because.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Most places would give you, especially places out this way
- 8:07Speaker 2: that don't get very many kids, usually gave you a
- 8:10Speaker 2: lot of candy. But because prices of everything going up,
- 8:13Speaker 2: and because it's such a long.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Walk, and because of how cold it was, like fuck it, yeah,
- 8:17Speaker 1: and they missed out because I buy full sized fucking
- 8:19Speaker 1: candy bars, and no joke, I was like, the first
- 8:21Speaker 1: kids I see are getting like four of these bitches each,
- 8:24Speaker 1: like that'd so many do that.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Every year when we only ever get maybe one or two,
- 8:29Speaker 2: and then when we do, we give them like half
- 8:31Speaker 2: of what we bought.
- 8:33Speaker 1: It's like because it's like no one else is showing
- 8:34Speaker 1: up take all of this exactly. But yeah, it was.
- 8:38Speaker 1: It was very fairly chill. The candy I ate was
- 8:41Speaker 1: one bag of peanut and M and MS, not like
- 8:44Speaker 1: a giant bag like a you know, a normal full
- 8:45Speaker 1: size one bag of peanut and MS. Six times no,
- 8:50Speaker 1: only one I counted, final, like you and M and
- 8:55Speaker 1: MS leave me alone. It was hallow eid I eat
- 8:58Speaker 1: my dinner.
- 8:59Speaker 2: If I go out out there right now and look
- 9:01Speaker 2: into that bowl, there won't be a single peanut eminem
- 9:04Speaker 2: rapper in there.
- 9:06Speaker 1: There won't be They're all gone.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I know all the trigger treaters took them.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Yeah, all one of them. Hey, I said trigger treat
- 9:16Speaker 1: every time I wouldn't get one. You had to yourself
- 9:20Speaker 1: under his breath as he was like popped you See.
- 9:27Speaker 1: The treat was the candy. But the trick is you
- 9:28Speaker 1: could be feeling it later. Yeah, and I was too,
- 9:31Speaker 1: because last night early this morning, I was not feeling well.
- 9:34Speaker 1: My stomach was hurt. I'm actually surprised we're stomaching coffee right. So, yeah,
- 9:39Speaker 1: we are actually recording way earlier than we normally do.
- 9:42Speaker 1: This is earlier. It is not even nine am yet.
- 9:46Speaker 1: On Saturday, they do.
- 9:47Speaker 2: This in the afternoon when it's warmer and everyone's more awake.
- 9:52Speaker 2: But we opted to do it early today because again,
- 9:54Speaker 2: it is just Stevie and I if you.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Haven't already noticed by the lack of Aaron, the lack
- 9:59Speaker 1: of a But I digress.
- 10:04Speaker 2: We still have some stuff we'd like to talk about. Yeah,
- 10:07Speaker 2: We've probably got a few things we'd.
- 10:08Speaker 3: Like to go over.
- 10:09Speaker 2: We're gonna go over some stuff that we're going over now,
- 10:12Speaker 2: and then later we'll talk about what we plan on
- 10:14Speaker 2: doing next.
- 10:15Speaker 1: To get us started, we'd start with like video games.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Yeah, the holidays, not a whole lot of people go anywhere,
- 10:22Speaker 2: and a whole lot of people do anything.
- 10:23Speaker 1: I'm sure everybody has.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Probably who doesn't usually do anything for Halloween probably stayed home,
- 10:28Speaker 2: watched a few scary movies, eat some candy on their own,
- 10:32Speaker 2: or they probably played a scary video game, of which
- 10:35Speaker 2: there are a number of out there, including co op
- 10:37Speaker 2: ones that we enjoy.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Yeah. I like a lot of the co op horror
- 10:41Speaker 1: type games, or even if just regular games and they
- 10:44Speaker 1: do the theme thing for like Halloween or the autumn
- 10:46Speaker 1: fall season, and shit, I always love that. So we
- 10:49Speaker 1: like to play games with our family, and family games
- 10:52Speaker 1: are the best.
- 10:53Speaker 2: There are a couple of scary games we do play,
- 10:55Speaker 2: or scary s games, games like Repo and Headliners. They
- 11:00Speaker 2: aren't really scary games, but they have scary elements in them.
- 11:03Speaker 1: More like thriller, I would say, more of like if
- 11:07Speaker 1: a genre wouldn't be a horror, it would be more thriller,
- 11:09Speaker 1: especially Headliners. Yeah, headliners not not really meant to be scary.
- 11:14Speaker 2: No, it's more meant to be action y, but it
- 11:16Speaker 2: can be scary at times. Repo, on the other hand,
- 11:20Speaker 2: definitely meant to be scary with goofy elements thrown in,
- 11:26Speaker 2: which I do enjoy. But beyond scary games, we also
- 11:30Speaker 2: like to play some of our personal favorites, some of
- 11:35Speaker 2: which just recently released, like Battlefield, playing their Battlefield games.
- 11:41Speaker 1: We are playing the.
- 11:42Speaker 2: New Battlefield six and we are absolutely loving it. But
- 11:47Speaker 2: the real thing is is if you play Battlefield, you
- 11:49Speaker 2: know what you're getting into. Yes, they're doing a good
- 11:52Speaker 2: job at trying to emulate Battlefield of the past.
- 11:56Speaker 1: They're listening to the community for the most part to
- 11:57Speaker 1: get a lot of that done, that good stuff, and
- 12:00Speaker 1: they are definitely doing their best as snag as many
- 12:04Speaker 1: players as possibly. That's that'sh It's funny.
- 12:08Speaker 2: The real intrigue for me doesn't come in doesn't come
- 12:11Speaker 2: from what they brought to the table in terms of
- 12:14Speaker 2: like the game, because the game is Battlefield, you know,
- 12:16Speaker 2: at the basic Battlefield, right, it's the stuff they're doing
- 12:20Speaker 2: behind the scenes. They're kernel uh not Colonel, but they're
- 12:25Speaker 2: they're anti cheat program. Yeah, so anyone who's familiar with
- 12:28Speaker 2: Call of Duty, they know that they brought in an
- 12:30Speaker 2: anti cheat program called Ricochet, and they touted it as
- 12:34Speaker 2: this crazy thing that they showed what it did to
- 12:37Speaker 2: players that were cheating, all that stuff like that.
- 12:40Speaker 1: When it worked, it worked good, and it was funny.
- 12:42Speaker 2: It was funny, it was great, and it and it
- 12:44Speaker 2: and it worked. But the thing is, it quickly got
- 12:47Speaker 2: overwhelmed and they weren't keeping up with it, and unfortunately,
- 12:51Speaker 2: it just doesn't work anymore, not to any extent that
- 12:53Speaker 2: it used to. And because of that, a lot of
- 12:56Speaker 2: Call of Duty multiplayer games are now flooded with cheaters
- 13:01Speaker 2: and exploiters and all that stuff that makes the game well,
- 13:05Speaker 2: unhappy to play.
- 13:07Speaker 1: It's so true, because I love people still.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Can have fun with it. It's not an unfun game.
- 13:12Speaker 2: It's just it's not. It's a pain in the ass
- 13:16Speaker 2: when you're like, okay, now I got to get destroyed
- 13:18Speaker 2: by a person who can't play this game normally.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Like who has all these advantages to use a third
- 13:24Speaker 1: party program to have any enjoyment on like game. They're
- 13:27Speaker 1: like the true rich white male of society in the
- 13:30Speaker 1: video gamers.
- 13:32Speaker 2: We'll call them for to do shit like that.
- 13:38Speaker 1: And then just buy a whole new copy and do
- 13:39Speaker 1: it all over again. Those kind of what kind of
- 13:42Speaker 1: fishes me off too. It's like the account gets banned,
- 13:45Speaker 1: so whatever account they had, they have to create a
- 13:47Speaker 1: brand new account by another game when they did get caught.
- 13:51Speaker 1: When Ricochet did work properly, because it's a kernel level cheat,
- 13:55Speaker 1: it gives you root access to that system, your entire system.
- 13:58Speaker 1: You can read everything in there, and what it does
- 14:01Speaker 1: reads the serial number on your GPU, the most expensive
- 14:04Speaker 1: part of your fucking computer. So these people running like
- 14:07Speaker 1: forty nineties and fifty nineties, like anywhere from two thousand
- 14:09Speaker 1: to three thousand, four thousand dollars GPUs. It doesn't break
- 14:13Speaker 1: the GPU, but it cannot play that game any longer.
- 14:16Speaker 1: And shit, it will not allow you to. So I
- 14:18Speaker 1: have to spend all this money, so, like I just
- 14:20Speaker 1: to be able to be like, oh, I'm gonna buy
- 14:23Speaker 1: Call of Duty want or just get it for free
- 14:25Speaker 1: right the time. Whatever, I'm make an account, I'm gonna
- 14:27Speaker 1: pay for this cheat or Zen or Cronus or whatever
- 14:31Speaker 1: the fuck it is, and then I'm gonna have to
- 14:34Speaker 1: pay a monthly service fee and shit, just so I
- 14:38Speaker 1: can just hold the triggers down and kill everybody in
- 14:40Speaker 1: the lobby and not actually play the game. I don't
- 14:42Speaker 1: understand it, like just that I understand throwing money away
- 14:46Speaker 1: and like buying shit. I get that because I do
- 14:49Speaker 1: that shit all the fucking time. I don't throw it away,
- 14:51Speaker 1: but I buy shit a lot, and I get that.
- 14:54Speaker 1: But like, dude, for fucking fuck's sake, play the goddamn game.
- 14:57Speaker 1: If you suck, you suck. It's fine, I suck. I
- 14:59Speaker 1: just don't play the game normal. I don't cheat. I
- 15:02Speaker 1: don't get it. Man, I don't like why why would
- 15:05Speaker 1: you pay the cheat? You know?
- 15:08Speaker 2: I mean it's again, it's I think they've been trying
- 15:11Speaker 2: to ask that for a long time and the answer
- 15:13Speaker 2: is always similar yet not which is more or less
- 15:16Speaker 2: it's because that they get enjoyment out of doing that,
- 15:19Speaker 2: playing the game that way.
- 15:21Speaker 1: That's they have the money to do it, they have
- 15:23Speaker 1: the means to do it.
- 15:24Speaker 2: So why wouldn't they kind of thing like they get
- 15:26Speaker 2: enjoyment out of that.
- 15:27Speaker 1: That's it's just.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Like, how like why would somebody who plays a certain
- 15:32Speaker 2: FPS game just use melee weapons like you're not you're
- 15:37Speaker 2: doing like but to be fair and there to their credit,
- 15:42Speaker 2: they're still using complete like the game's mechanics and using
- 15:46Speaker 2: those mechanics to play the game. They're not using some
- 15:49Speaker 2: third party software to give them an advantage so they
- 15:52Speaker 2: can do that, right. That's kind of where it kind
- 15:55Speaker 2: of draws the line of yeah, they're just playing the game,
- 15:58Speaker 2: they want the way they wait, they want to play it,
- 16:00Speaker 2: and they're willing to take whatever repercussion that is from
- 16:03Speaker 2: doing so. But at the same time, it's like, yeah,
- 16:07Speaker 2: you're you're but the way you're doing it is ruining
- 16:09Speaker 2: other people's experiences. You're not using the game's mechanics to
- 16:14Speaker 2: be better than or or getting your enjoyment out of
- 16:18Speaker 2: the game over others. You're using another programs mechanics to
- 16:23Speaker 2: usurp the ones you're supposed to use so you can
- 16:27Speaker 2: do what.
- 16:27Speaker 1: You want to do. And that's where it's fucked up.
- 16:30Speaker 1: It's like, now, if you.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Can't play by the rules, if you have to bring
- 16:33Speaker 2: outside rules into what it's already a rule set, then
- 16:37Speaker 2: no fuck off. Like if you can't play the game,
- 16:39Speaker 2: then don't play the game.
- 16:40Speaker 1: And I don't mind people like hacking shit on their
- 16:42Speaker 1: own thing, like you have your own server whatever.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Fine, don't be playing and I are going to play
- 16:47Speaker 2: tic tac toe your exes.
- 16:49Speaker 1: I'm oh, but you see the thing is.
- 16:51Speaker 2: I have I have this special third party ability where
- 16:54Speaker 2: I can erase one of your exes and put by
- 16:56Speaker 2: Oh there.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Yeah exactly.
- 16:59Speaker 2: It's like the fuck but you don't have that.
- 17:05Speaker 1: So dude, that's fucking perfect. Jesus, Wow, that's awesome. True.
- 17:12Speaker 1: So back to the anti cheat. You're talking about Call
- 17:14Speaker 1: of Duty's Ricochet. Yeah, so cal Ricchet.
- 17:17Speaker 2: So Battlefield six has a thing called Javelin, which is
- 17:21Speaker 2: also a kernel level anti cheat.
- 17:24Speaker 1: So it doesn't have access to all your systems.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Yeah for me, but apparently it's quite effective, at least
- 17:30Speaker 2: more effective than Ricochet was.
- 17:33Speaker 1: I can't really compare the two because Ricochet obviously.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Was effective for like the first couple of months, but
- 17:38Speaker 2: then of course it'll fall apart. It falls apart after
- 17:41Speaker 2: a while because people figure it out. It's different about
- 17:46Speaker 2: Javelin compared to Ricochet is that there's been tons of
- 17:49Speaker 2: reports that a lot of the anti cheat programs are
- 17:55Speaker 2: so are so turned off by this anti cheat. The
- 18:01Speaker 2: developers of these programs have to literally come out and
- 18:03Speaker 2: say shit about it, like they have to like be like, oh, yeah,
- 18:06Speaker 2: we were aware of an issue, we're working on it,
- 18:08Speaker 2: and nobody's able to get them and no one's able
- 18:10Speaker 2: to do or anything. They're working, Yeah, because they now
- 18:14Speaker 2: owe a bunch of people money that are buying these programs,
- 18:17Speaker 2: and they're like that these programs are working, we want refunds,
- 18:19Speaker 2: and so now they've got to figure out how to
- 18:22Speaker 2: get them to work or they have to pay all
- 18:24Speaker 2: this money back that they probably don't have anything.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Good Fuck you guys, Oh my god. Yes, So it is.
- 18:31Speaker 1: It's interesting. Who knows how how long it'll last. I'm
- 18:35Speaker 1: very much sure that it will.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Uh, it'll probably get like a workaround on it eventually, right,
- 18:45Speaker 2: But it's kind of interesting because at the moment it's
- 18:50Speaker 2: it does have some interesting errors. Some people may encounter
- 18:56Speaker 2: and error when they have conflicts with other software that
- 19:01Speaker 2: you might have going on in the background, and that
- 19:02Speaker 2: software could be anything like a VR program, or it
- 19:07Speaker 2: could be like, uh, in one case, I think, yeah,
- 19:11Speaker 2: Riots Vanguard. So Riot also has an anti cheat program
- 19:16Speaker 2: called Vanguard. If you have Vanguard installed on your computer,
- 19:19Speaker 2: it conflicts with Javelin, and Javelin won't let you play
- 19:22Speaker 2: Battlefield six while Vanguard isn't installed.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Right, you just have to disable it. You have to
- 19:27Speaker 1: disable it. Yeah, and then you're fine, I think, but
- 19:30Speaker 1: you have to like if your shit is like why
- 19:31Speaker 1: does it work? It does make sense. It's because anything running,
- 19:35Speaker 1: and that's what that kernel level is doing. It's looking
- 19:38Speaker 1: to see if anything else is running that's not a
- 19:40Speaker 1: Windows necessity or whatever you're playing on, anything that's modify
- 19:45Speaker 1: the game in any way or allow like any kind
- 19:48Speaker 1: of like I don't know any right, any tunneling. Yeah,
- 19:51Speaker 1: it can read, it can't write pretty much.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Yeah, and well other kernel like uh anti cheat systems,
- 20:00Speaker 2: Well they would probably pop up as suspect as malicious,
- 20:04Speaker 2: not just because you know, one corporation versus another, which
- 20:08Speaker 2: is probably what it really is, but it's but because, yeah,
- 20:11Speaker 2: they because they affect your computer in a way that
- 20:13Speaker 2: a fucking virus would, even though it's not a virus.
- 20:18Speaker 1: So yeah, it's it's fucking crazy. But yeah, no, and
- 20:20Speaker 1: it's great. I'm glad that so far Javelin is working. Yeah. Actually,
- 20:26Speaker 1: it'll be interesting again.
- 20:27Speaker 2: I'm always fascinating less bite because the funny thing is
- 20:31Speaker 2: most of the complaints that are coming out now are
- 20:34Speaker 2: things like cosmetics and shit that people were able to
- 20:37Speaker 2: do in previous games that they can't do in this one.
- 20:39Speaker 2: So the cosmetics one is whatever, I don't care, but
- 20:43Speaker 2: also I do appreciate the more realism take on it.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it's so fortunate.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Battlefield did try to just release their season past the
- 20:52Speaker 2: first one, and it did have a couple of skins
- 20:55Speaker 2: in it that felt the little Call of Duty skins
- 20:58Speaker 2: like a little too vibrant, a little to like, like,
- 21:01Speaker 2: no one will be wearing this in a fucking battlefield
- 21:04Speaker 2: unless they're goddamn mercenaries.
- 21:06Speaker 1: There's no reason for them. They're wearing this ship and
- 21:10Speaker 1: gold Duty had fucking animated like Beavis.
- 21:13Speaker 2: They have American Dad, great fucking they have fucking Jay
- 21:18Speaker 2: and Silent, they have all that.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Ship don't be wrong Bibles, Like, I get it, I
- 21:22Speaker 1: get it, but this is not what this is.
- 21:25Speaker 2: But the thing is is that there was backlash and
- 21:28Speaker 2: EA removed it good, so they got rid of it.
- 21:32Speaker 2: They're putting so they are listening, which is nice. But
- 21:37Speaker 2: the thing is is that beyond that, which is just
- 21:39Speaker 2: mostly a cosmetic thing. Again, what's really funny is hearing
- 21:44Speaker 2: the complaints from people who, again, as I stated, I
- 21:48Speaker 2: have done it in previous games, but can't do it
- 21:51Speaker 2: here because it's either more balanced or because it's because
- 21:55Speaker 2: there's counters to it. And the biggest thing right now
- 21:58Speaker 2: is aircraft. Anyone who's played Battlefield twenty forty two has
- 22:03Speaker 2: knows that the biggest fucking pain in the ass is
- 22:05Speaker 2: dealing with stealth choppers. Because in battle twenty forty two,
- 22:10Speaker 2: if you had a good person who knew how to
- 22:12Speaker 2: pilot this thing, they could perfectly make it so you
- 22:15Speaker 2: could never mark them, You can never aim sights on them.
- 22:17Speaker 2: The only thing you could ever do is dumb fire them.
- 22:19Speaker 2: They could bomb you.
- 22:20Speaker 1: From out of anti air range all that shit.
- 22:23Speaker 2: It was completely annoying, and they would be able to
- 22:26Speaker 2: get like hundreds of kills every single game guaranteed, as
- 22:30Speaker 2: long as somebody knew what they were doing, you could
- 22:33Speaker 2: literally destroy the enemy team and they would not be
- 22:35Speaker 2: able to do anything to stop you. In Battlefield six,
- 22:39Speaker 2: small arms fire actually fucking matters.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Anti air is actually.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Anti hair, and the people who used to get one
- 22:47Speaker 2: hundred bombing runs and the previous game without ever getting
- 22:51Speaker 2: scratched or dying are now getting shot out of the
- 22:53Speaker 2: air and.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Are bitching about it.
- 22:55Speaker 2: I love that, which is fucking hilarious good, and honestly
- 23:00Speaker 2: suck it because fuck you, you have gone jill plenty
- 23:05Speaker 2: of kills doing it, except now you might die try.
- 23:09Speaker 1: It, and that's what pisces you off, because you.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Can't hide at the top of the goddamn map away
- 23:16Speaker 2: from anti air systems and just bomb your way to
- 23:20Speaker 2: a hundred kills.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Put those hell. You can't.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Fucking hover over an enemy h Q without automated anti
- 23:33Speaker 2: air system shooting you out of the sky, and that
- 23:36Speaker 2: pisces you off. You can't leave your air base and
- 23:39Speaker 2: fly directly to an objective clear is fucking day without
- 23:44Speaker 2: getting spotted by somebody with an anti aer or spotter thing,
- 23:47Speaker 2: and that.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Pisses you off.
- 23:48Speaker 2: You need to learn how to play before you can complain.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Yes, I can't rush straight to the enemy team.
- 24:00Speaker 2: They immediately gunned me down because they can see me
- 24:02Speaker 2: because I'm a helicopter in.
- 24:03Speaker 1: A bright blue sky. What anti air actually can shoot
- 24:10Speaker 1: me out of the sky? Now that's bullshit. Why can't
- 24:13Speaker 1: I immediately get out of range.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Turn around and gun them from across the map without
- 24:17Speaker 2: them being able to reprise.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Right, that's bullshit.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Why can't I bomb a hundred players while floating one
- 24:23Speaker 2: hundred feet above the air well rockets literally despawning after
- 24:27Speaker 2: like one hundred meters.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Fuck, oh my god, no, I'm right there with you, man.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Why don't I have an automatic repair system that literally
- 24:37Speaker 2: made the engineer class completely redundant.
- 24:41Speaker 1: You didn't have to play engineer.
- 24:43Speaker 2: You had a repair system that literally repaired better than
- 24:46Speaker 2: engineers could.
- 24:46Speaker 1: And you never had to hit the ground. You never
- 24:48Speaker 1: had to fucking touch the ground, not even once.
- 24:51Speaker 2: You could be in the ground, up on the sky,
- 24:52Speaker 2: all fucking gay, fucking hogging the helicopter, not living, letting
- 24:56Speaker 2: a single other person get a chance at it. But hey,
- 24:59Speaker 2: you got a hundred kills and nobody could do shit
- 25:01Speaker 2: to you. But now you have to fly low to
- 25:04Speaker 2: get under those missiles. And now when you fly low,
- 25:06Speaker 2: if there's someone with a fucking rifle and they get
- 25:08Speaker 2: a lucky shot, or if they have an RPG, you're fucked.
- 25:11Speaker 2: As it should be, as any realistic battlefields it would be.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Yeah. I am liking it, man, I really am. But
- 25:19Speaker 1: I'm in an agreement. Get fucking good. I think that's
- 25:23Speaker 1: why it looks so awesome when all those helicopters crash. Now, yeah,
- 25:27Speaker 1: they made it cinematic as fuck. Yeah, And honestly, that's
- 25:30Speaker 1: that's the both.
- 25:31Speaker 2: That's if I have a complaint about the game, is
- 25:33Speaker 2: that it's too cinematic. No, I'm serious, because all that
- 25:39Speaker 2: lights flashing and shit like that makes it really hard
- 25:41Speaker 2: to see.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:42Speaker 2: I had to turn down like world brightness all that
- 25:45Speaker 2: shit because I could not see. I wish I kept
- 25:48Speaker 2: the recordings because I could show you compared to now
- 25:50Speaker 2: versus to what it was then, it was like the
- 25:53Speaker 2: sun was going super nova.
- 25:54Speaker 1: It was bad. It was real bad.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Like you couldn't step outside if you looked so much
- 25:59Speaker 2: at the sun you were blinded. I'm like, okay, that's
- 26:03Speaker 2: I get that if you came from a dark area
- 26:05Speaker 2: and then ran out into a light area. But I
- 26:07Speaker 2: was getting that walking underneath shadows from things casted outside
- 26:12Speaker 2: while I was outside. Yeah, it was like flash banging
- 26:15Speaker 2: you every single time. Just turn the settings down. It's
- 26:17Speaker 2: you don't need ultra going on it, you really don't.
- 26:20Speaker 2: But yeah, it's.
- 26:22Speaker 1: If I had a complain, that would be it is
- 26:23Speaker 1: the graphics are too good, but you can but you
- 26:26Speaker 1: can change that your Yeah, yeah, but that's something that
- 26:28Speaker 1: you can fix yourself. So that's good, that's awesome, and
- 26:31Speaker 1: I am having fun.
- 26:32Speaker 2: There's a lot of and it doesn't it's not frustrating
- 26:35Speaker 2: at all, like I really know. Like the only frustrating
- 26:39Speaker 2: parts is when you get gunned and your teammates are
- 26:41Speaker 2: nowhere to be found. But then at the same time,
- 26:44Speaker 2: you don't know if your friend's got gunned or if
- 26:46Speaker 2: you just happen to overextend yourself because it's that kind
- 26:49Speaker 2: of game where you one versus one hundred. Yeah, you
- 26:52Speaker 2: can take down like five or six if you're smart,
- 26:54Speaker 2: but you're not going to take.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Down the team. This ain't call of DUTYO it's not.
- 27:00Speaker 1: And I like that, and that's and that's.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Why people again back to the people complaining they can't
- 27:04Speaker 2: take down the entire team with their fucking stealth chopper
- 27:08Speaker 2: because it's not fucking call of duty, right, you can
- 27:11Speaker 2: shoot down score streaks and call of duty.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Yeah, but battlefield so far has been cool. I want
- 27:19Speaker 1: there's all these community maps and ship and you can
- 27:21Speaker 1: make your own stuff.
- 27:22Speaker 2: The portal system does leave stuff to be desired, so
- 27:25Speaker 2: I'm excited.
- 27:26Speaker 1: I think that's the lack of servers. Yes, and I
- 27:28Speaker 1: and that's what I'm gonna say. I'm excited to see
- 27:31Speaker 1: what's gonna happen once everything gets more stabilized. They should
- 27:34Speaker 1: allow local hosting.
- 27:36Speaker 2: If they did that, they could probably save up one
- 27:40Speaker 2: a lot of server hosting on their own accord and
- 27:42Speaker 2: allow people to set up their own fucking servers. Obviously,
- 27:46Speaker 2: I get why they wouldn't because if they set up
- 27:47Speaker 2: their servers, they can fuck with ship.
- 27:50Speaker 1: But but they I don't know.
- 27:53Speaker 2: I think they will some rules like and ban anyone
- 27:56Speaker 2: who fucking breaks them, don't don't give any ship, right
- 28:01Speaker 2: like at this point, literally just don't give any ship
- 28:03Speaker 2: because that was that's pretty.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Much been their handle.
- 28:05Speaker 2: They've been listening to the community, but anyone who gives
- 28:08Speaker 2: like not really constructive criticism or just complaining because they
- 28:11Speaker 2: can't do what they could do in previous games, even
- 28:14Speaker 2: though in previous games the reason why they could do
- 28:16Speaker 2: it because they were unbalanced.
- 28:19Speaker 1: They're bitching about it now. They're not listening to that shit, thankfully.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Yeah, a lot of the communities like just don't listen
- 28:25Speaker 2: to streamers because streamers want what makes them look good.
- 28:28Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true. Your opinion doesn't matter anymore.
- 28:32Speaker 2: I make I make these videos on YouTube that will
- 28:35Speaker 2: make me look amazing, but I can't do it, or
- 28:37Speaker 2: it takes me extra long now to make these videos
- 28:40Speaker 2: and clip them together, because well, the game is more balanced,
- 28:43Speaker 2: or the game's not balanced, or more in favor towards
- 28:47Speaker 2: one than another.
- 28:48Speaker 1: You know. Yeah, yeah, so far, I'm liking the choices
- 28:52Speaker 1: you're making though, Yeah, yeah, I do enjoy it.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Spawning could use some work, but battlefield spawning has always
- 28:58Speaker 2: been terrible.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Yeah, they definitely need to fix that, and they need
- 29:03Speaker 1: to fix where you can die from a certain area.
- 29:06Speaker 1: I'm surprised they don't do some sort of like spawn protection. Yeah,
- 29:09Speaker 1: like have an invisible wall where you can't damage out
- 29:12Speaker 1: and they can't damage in like or just.
- 29:14Speaker 2: Like have like like I get why they wouldn't because
- 29:19Speaker 2: they don't want people to camp those areas, right, Well,
- 29:23Speaker 2: like if they had like a bunker spawn, like, they
- 29:26Speaker 2: would have a specific area you would spawn inside of
- 29:29Speaker 2: and then run out of that they can't fire into,
- 29:32Speaker 2: but you can get out, and they would change make
- 29:34Speaker 2: it so that way if you were in the bunker
- 29:36Speaker 2: when that territory gets captured and therefore can't spawn it anymore.
- 29:40Speaker 2: You have a time or to leave the bunker or
- 29:43Speaker 2: die as if you were out of bounce right kind
- 29:45Speaker 2: of thing.
- 29:45Speaker 1: It might work. Actually that could be kind of cool.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't I it's again you're focusing. It would
- 29:52Speaker 2: be they would make them specific spots, or they'd have
- 29:55Speaker 2: to have multiple spots set up, like what you can
- 29:58Speaker 2: spa where you can fire out. But it doesn't give
- 30:02Speaker 2: you any kind of advantage to like take the objective
- 30:05Speaker 2: or anything like that, but it does give you a
- 30:06Speaker 2: amount of safety to get out and push back into
- 30:10Speaker 2: the objective while it's being assaulted.
- 30:12Speaker 1: It's tough for that, it really is. Yeah, it you
- 30:15Speaker 1: really there's really no right answer for that. I know that.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Like back on the day for spawn beacons, they used
- 30:21Speaker 2: to have you parachute down. That's what people were able
- 30:24Speaker 2: to get up on places you weren't able to do before.
- 30:28Speaker 1: You got like thirty people in one building. Well, of course,
- 30:30Speaker 1: now you can destroy the buildings the buildings, so I
- 30:33Speaker 1: guess it wouldn't really matter anything. Yeah, So why not
- 30:37Speaker 1: do that? Why not have a paraschot parachute option so
- 30:40Speaker 1: it's not like everybody spawns up here, but you have
- 30:42Speaker 1: the option to either you're spawning at one of the
- 30:44Speaker 1: two bases or your parachute.
- 30:48Speaker 2: You fucking drop it, because then you could have just
- 30:50Speaker 2: random like carriers fly over. It'd be way more cinematic
- 30:54Speaker 2: and you'd have random carriers fly over that players would
- 30:56Speaker 2: drop out of.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Cool like they always go like along your whatever route
- 31:02Speaker 1: it is, it's not going across the map, it's only
- 31:04Speaker 1: going across you.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Which one was it Battlefield two that had a commander role?
- 31:09Speaker 2: That would be the one to be able to spawn
- 31:11Speaker 2: in supply and stuff like that. Yeah, why don't they
- 31:14Speaker 2: bring that back?
- 31:15Speaker 1: That would be well, they might, they might.
- 31:18Speaker 2: A commander role, like obviously you'd only want because back
- 31:23Speaker 2: then there would either be like an open option where
- 31:25Speaker 2: anybody could be the commander or you have to be
- 31:28Speaker 2: like an next certain rank to achieve it, like like
- 31:32Speaker 2: a level one in there. Yeah, you'd have to be,
- 31:34Speaker 2: like you would have to have played the game for
- 31:37Speaker 2: like several fucking hours before you're allowed to look at
- 31:40Speaker 2: the commander role, right if they brought that to the
- 31:43Speaker 2: game and allowed them to set up spawns or allowed
- 31:46Speaker 2: ship like that where they can do like, okay, I'm
- 31:48Speaker 2: setting up a parachute drop or whatever. People who die
- 31:54Speaker 2: can then queue into that and then the commander can
- 31:56Speaker 2: send it off.
- 31:58Speaker 1: That would actually be cool. Then you just wait for
- 32:00Speaker 1: that bitch to fill up.
- 32:01Speaker 2: In that way, you can drop somewhere even outside of territory,
- 32:06Speaker 2: or you can have them drop over enemy territory to
- 32:09Speaker 2: drop them on to a point. That way, you're not
- 32:11Speaker 2: having people having to waste helicopter.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Ships in the back. Yeah, that would be fucking neat.
- 32:20Speaker 2: Where they can set up like AI mobile ai AA
- 32:24Speaker 2: platforms and have them like move to certain parts of
- 32:27Speaker 2: the map. Yes, I'm in I think that would be
- 32:30Speaker 2: pretty cool. Knows maybe they're already planning on something like
- 32:33Speaker 2: that or maybe not thinking of another game like Kingmakers has.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Been delayed again. Well, it's it's been delayed already. Oh yeah,
- 32:41Speaker 1: it's supposed to come out like come out like last month. Yeah,
- 32:44Speaker 1: but neither here we have Battlefield six for the It's
- 32:49Speaker 1: all good.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Well, I feel like we've probably talked on this for
- 32:53Speaker 2: quite a while.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Haven't We're good.
- 32:55Speaker 2: We're good, okay, So I think it's probably a good
- 32:57Speaker 2: time for us to go to break. After that, we'll
- 33:00Speaker 2: come back and actually talk about the show. Itself and
- 33:04Speaker 2: maybe finish up with them personal stuff.
- 33:05Speaker 1: That we're working on.
- 33:06Speaker 2: Yes, but first off to our break. We will meet
- 33:10Speaker 2: you back here right after.
- 33:12Speaker 3: This found mail bag, mail bag getting them litters.
- 33:30Speaker 1: Oh, this is the mail bag.
- 33:32Speaker 2: This is where we like to check to see if
- 33:34Speaker 2: anyone left us any messages or any other interesting things.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Type type things. So what do you got for us today, Steve? Oh,
- 33:43Speaker 1: my guys, So again I don't know how many months
- 33:47Speaker 1: in a row this is at this point, but we
- 33:50Speaker 1: made the Good but the Good Pods number one top
- 33:54Speaker 1: one hundred Indie Improv Monthly chart. Again. If it's not
- 33:59Speaker 1: like the indie charts, it's it's the improv game charts.
- 34:04Speaker 1: It's it's been some crazy stuff. We hit a couple
- 34:06Speaker 1: other ones as well. Obviously, we hit the top one
- 34:10Speaker 1: hundred Indie Games Weekly again. We hit number one in
- 34:14Speaker 1: the top one hundred weekly Improv as well. Geez, we
- 34:17Speaker 1: hit number two in the top one hundred Indie Games
- 34:20Speaker 1: Monthly chart and then number two in the top one
- 34:22Speaker 1: hundred Games Weekly charts. Like we've been like, you're hitting
- 34:26Speaker 1: it hard on good Pods, So a huge shout out
- 34:28Speaker 1: to everybody listen to us on Good Pods to Good
- 34:31Speaker 1: Pods andselves. Thank you for like cooking us up and
- 34:34Speaker 1: ship every freaking week and every money. Yeah, so it's
- 34:38Speaker 1: like so bad. How many How many is that now?
- 34:41Speaker 1: I don't even know, man, Like does it keep track
- 34:44Speaker 1: of how many we've got. We'd have to check. I'll
- 34:46Speaker 1: have to go into the account and see.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Yeah, we need to go through because if they keep cout,
- 34:50Speaker 2: we really need to see.
- 34:52Speaker 1: We should make like a Good Pods little thing, send
- 34:54Speaker 1: it or something, because that's freaking awesome. So thank you
- 34:57Speaker 1: to everybody like liking, following, sharing us and we appreciate
- 35:01Speaker 1: you are the ones that are doing that for us.
- 35:03Speaker 1: It's not it's not.
- 35:06Speaker 2: So then you're just putting out the garbage. Yeah, that
- 35:09Speaker 2: you guys apparent.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Gross. We also got in our mail bag a new Patreon.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Remember yes, I remember. You have access to everything we do.
- 35:23Speaker 2: Everything, We put out, all the extras, behind the scenes,

- 35:28Speaker 1: We could think of. You put gaming stuff on there,
- 35:31Speaker 1: we'll put you can follow us for free. We might
- 35:34Speaker 1: be coming up on episode stuff on there just for
- 35:36Speaker 1: you guys.
- 35:37Speaker 2: We might be coming up on episode three hundred, but
- 35:39Speaker 2: there's probably close to eight.
- 35:43Speaker 1: There's so much on there. I can't even tell you.
- 35:46Speaker 1: It's I one day we got to go measurement and
- 35:49Speaker 1: see how much media we actually put. It's a lot.
- 35:52Speaker 1: It's so insane. It's at least three it's at least
- 35:55Speaker 1: three times that we have. Yeah, there's a lot of
- 35:58Speaker 1: publicly like is it's worth it for five bucks? It
- 36:02Speaker 1: isn't much.
- 36:03Speaker 2: And on top of that, for those who also on
- 36:06Speaker 2: our Patreon can also see we do video recording and
- 36:12Speaker 2: you can see the improvements that you also help us do,
- 36:14Speaker 2: such as the improvements to the studio, improvements to a
- 36:17Speaker 2: sound quality, improvements to our video quality.
- 36:20Speaker 1: We have episode three hundred coming up.
- 36:22Speaker 2: You basically are helping us do a live show for
- 36:26Speaker 2: episode three hundred that we have actual contestants playing, and
- 36:33Speaker 2: we are literally going to Colorado. We are on the
- 36:36Speaker 2: East coast and we're going all the way over for
- 36:40Speaker 2: this is fantastic and of course can only ever been
- 36:45Speaker 2: done with your help, and we are so appreciative of.
- 36:48Speaker 1: That, seriously, so like Patreon, huge thank you to everything
- 36:51Speaker 1: you've done throughout the years, like six years of this, man,
- 36:54Speaker 1: oh my god, those of you who are with us
- 36:57Speaker 1: and those of you who are still with us even
- 36:59Speaker 1: in space. We appreciate you so much. True, So, Matt,
- 37:04Speaker 1: you are the group of people you're joining here is immense, man.
- 37:08Speaker 1: Like you'll get access to our discord and we all
- 37:11Speaker 1: hang out in the lounge there and stuff, hang play
- 37:14Speaker 1: video games.
- 37:14Speaker 2: We try to hang out with you guys as much
- 37:16Speaker 2: and obvious possible. Obviously everybody's working. Yeah, everybody's an adult here,
- 37:21Speaker 2: so twell, I mean age wise were adults. But yeah, so,
- 37:27Speaker 2: but we try to hang out with you. We gotta discord,
- 37:29Speaker 2: we hang out in We try to do shows with you.
- 37:32Speaker 2: Like we obviously have guest lists. We have guests on
- 37:34Speaker 2: here all the time, and sometimes they are Patreon members.
- 37:37Speaker 1: And yeah, we love playing with you guys. If you
- 37:39Speaker 1: if you love listening to us, you are into these
- 37:42Speaker 1: kind of games. These are the kind of games we
- 37:43Speaker 1: want to play with you. So truth, truth man. So
- 37:46Speaker 1: fuck yeah, Matt, fucking congrats and like, welcome on board, man,
- 37:52Speaker 1: are onto the actual messages so we got to comment.
- 37:56Speaker 1: It's through Patreon. Yeah, and this is on show number
- 37:59Speaker 1: two ninety to last week's.
- 38:01Speaker 2: Yeah, whistle out your butt because you know, because all
- 38:06Speaker 2: because we all need to know.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Yes, well, yeah, go for it. All right, so this
- 38:12Speaker 1: is from our buddy eight bit. Yes a bit, if
- 38:15Speaker 1: I weren't dead by rapid aging after Aaron saying that
- 38:18Speaker 1: the PS two is soon.
- 38:19Speaker 2: Twenty five years old, Jesus, yeah, no kidding, that's crazy.
- 38:23Speaker 1: I'd be fully with Augie with the GameCube. Oh yeah,
- 38:26Speaker 1: that's fair.
- 38:27Speaker 2: That system may not have done very well, but the
- 38:29Speaker 2: library of games that it has just maybe not massed.
- 38:32Speaker 2: It has is maybe not massive, but the quality of
- 38:36Speaker 2: it is.
- 38:37Speaker 1: No.
- 38:38Speaker 2: And nope, I am not biased because I am a
- 38:41Speaker 2: hopeless Nintendo fanboy. Nope, not leave me alone. I'm dead
- 38:46Speaker 2: by aging anyway.
- 38:49Speaker 1: Even No, and that's great. I was not a GameCube guy.
- 38:53Speaker 1: I never had a game cube. I think when that
- 38:55Speaker 1: came out, I was pretty much not I mean I
- 38:58Speaker 1: was gone most of the time I had I think
- 39:00Speaker 1: PlayStation two back then.
- 39:02Speaker 2: Also, you have to keep in mind too, it's all
- 39:04Speaker 2: about upbringing and situation.
- 39:06Speaker 1: What you're playing, what you're playing. I don't play RPGs.
- 39:09Speaker 2: GameCube meant a lot to me growing up, mostly not
- 39:12Speaker 2: just because of the games that were on it, but
- 39:14Speaker 2: because the games I played with others. It was a
- 39:17Speaker 2: family council, like you played Mario Party, with your family.
- 39:22Speaker 2: You played Smash with your family, you know, even Luigi's mansion.
- 39:27Speaker 1: Me and my niece would.
- 39:28Speaker 2: Take turns going through rooms and trying to speed run
- 39:31Speaker 2: the game and stuff like that. So like in Mario
- 39:35Speaker 2: Sunshine as well, Myra Sunsied, like, you know, get stuck
- 39:38Speaker 2: on something, you handed a controller off to your dad
- 39:40Speaker 2: and your.
- 39:40Speaker 1: Dad's like, there you go, right, you do it.
- 39:44Speaker 2: But like, that's that's really what deed it for me.
- 39:47Speaker 2: Not that the other counsoles weren't great, because they had
- 39:49Speaker 2: great games on like PS two, PS one, Final Fantasy obviously,
- 39:55Speaker 2: Xbox fucking counter Strike, Halo like all those games obviously,
- 40:01Speaker 2: but like those were games that you I kind of
- 40:03Speaker 2: played by myself or later on played with friends. But
- 40:08Speaker 2: GameCube and Nintendo games were the games that were affordable
- 40:11Speaker 2: enough that your family played with you.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Yes, because that's true, that's what That's what they were
- 40:15Speaker 1: meant for, which makes sense. But fuck yeah, I'm speaking
- 40:19Speaker 1: of a but no, I'm good right now. He actually
- 40:23Speaker 1: messaged us again on Blue Sky and said that there's
- 40:27Speaker 1: a new update to the game, So we got to
- 40:29Speaker 1: get into that discord and download that game and do
- 40:32Speaker 1: a play test. We do we do got so I'm
- 40:34Speaker 1: thinking we're gonna mess with that this weekend. Yeah yeah,
- 40:37Speaker 1: like this coming up? Yeah yeah, yeah, that got you.
- 40:39Speaker 1: I gotcha, helloween kind of throw absolutely move anything to
- 40:43Speaker 1: help a buddy. Yeah yeah, because I'm down and I
- 40:45Speaker 1: want to play it excitedly. Ship. So that should be
- 40:48Speaker 1: it for our mail bag. That looks like yeah, man.
- 40:52Speaker 2: Well, thank you all for sending messages and your comments
- 40:56Speaker 2: and sharing with us.
- 40:58Speaker 1: You can do it in multiple ways, either through our Patreon,
- 41:01Speaker 1: so leave comments there, or you can go to our
- 41:04Speaker 1: website bfytwpod dot com. Under the contact thus section there
- 41:08Speaker 1: is a little widget so you can actually leave us
- 41:10Speaker 1: a ninety second voice message.
- 41:12Speaker 2: You know, and you know we are on discords, so
- 41:14Speaker 2: if you're a part of our Patreon, you can also
- 41:16Speaker 2: directly message us if you want to hang out hoh
- 41:19Speaker 2: is a question directly to us, even anything that you
- 41:22Speaker 2: don't want specifically on the show. You can also pose
- 41:24Speaker 2: directly to us in private. That's fine, fine with that
- 41:28Speaker 2: and nothing too risque.
- 41:30Speaker 1: I don't think. I don't think Steve Aaron would care
- 41:32Speaker 1: if it was not a little bit no no, no, no, yeah.
- 41:36Speaker 1: What does the meaning of life tell me? Don't tell
- 41:39Speaker 1: me you're gonna spoil it to spoil us anyways.
- 41:43Speaker 2: But so if that's it for the mail bag, then
- 41:45Speaker 2: we will go ahead and get right back into the show.
- 41:51Speaker 4: If you like fun, then you're gonna love the beard
- 41:53Speaker 4: Out Podcast. It's a podcast where we talk about two
- 41:56Speaker 4: of the greatest things in the world, Beer and weird Out.
- 42:00Speaker 4: And frankly, we talk more about weird Out than anything
- 42:02Speaker 4: because he's the gift that keeps on given. So join
- 42:06Speaker 4: us as we talk through weird OU's career, what he
- 42:10Speaker 4: needs to us. And we have some very special guests
- 42:13Speaker 4: on to discuss the magic that is Alfred Matthew Yankovic
- 42:17Speaker 4: beared Out, part of the Odd Good Media Network.
- 42:26Speaker 5: Hey there, I'm Dave, the host of Beer in Front.
- 42:31Speaker 5: Sometimes the beer in front of you is the best
- 42:33Speaker 5: one yet. I'll talk about some old school beers that
- 42:37Speaker 5: maybe you've forgotten about, some new beers that have the
- 42:41Speaker 5: potential to be a classic. I'll also talk to various
- 42:45Speaker 5: people around the beer world and get their stories all
- 42:49Speaker 5: about beer. That's Beer in Front and it's available on
- 42:53Speaker 5: all of your favorite podcast apps.
- 43:11Speaker 2: Welcome back to the second section of episode.
- 43:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I can speak, you can speak. Yeah, you can
- 43:21Speaker 1: speak jibbers. I can understand. There are b F y
- 43:26Speaker 1: t w.
- 43:27Speaker 2: Uh.
- 43:28Speaker 1: We are chilling today. Aaron is absent turned into a cat,
- 43:33Speaker 1: that's true.
- 43:34Speaker 2: He's out there, uh shitting in a litter box as
- 43:36Speaker 2: we speak.
- 43:39Speaker 1: You have to be part of Patreon, you know that?
- 43:42Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 43:43Speaker 1: Yeah, free show, guys show that was green room talk. Yeah,
- 43:46Speaker 1: but I digress here, so fuck it.
- 43:52Speaker 2: I'm taking over now, and I say we talk about
- 43:55Speaker 2: our next subject, which is about.
- 43:58Speaker 1: B F y t W.
- 43:59Speaker 2: I like this, namely that, as mentioned before, we are
- 44:03Speaker 2: rapidly coming up on episode three hundred, which is more
- 44:07Speaker 2: and more nerve wrecking the closer we physically get.
- 44:10Speaker 1: To it, just because we don't have everything on one
- 44:14Speaker 1: hundred percent locked yet.
- 44:16Speaker 2: Yeah, we're locked in yet the shows there, there's plenty
- 44:20Speaker 2: of ship that still needs to get done.
- 44:22Speaker 1: We have a window to do it rapidly.
- 44:26Speaker 2: Clothing but no issues. Honestly, a lot of the it's
- 44:34Speaker 2: anything as as we discussed in private, is it's tech issues.
- 44:38Speaker 1: We're more concerned about anything else. And it's we know
- 44:41Speaker 1: for a fact we can like as.
- 44:45Speaker 2: It's just as human beings, we know we can be
- 44:47Speaker 2: entertaining to others, Like we've been doing it our whole lives.
- 44:50Speaker 2: We entertain each other, we can we can get other
- 44:52Speaker 2: people to at least have a good time.
- 44:55Speaker 1: So worst comes the worst. We know people there are
- 44:58Speaker 1: going to have a good time.
- 45:00Speaker 2: We just want to make sure that it's recorded so
- 45:02Speaker 2: people here could have a good time.
- 45:04Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. Ye, yes, And I'm kind
- 45:08Speaker 1: I mean, I'm excited about that. I'm one of those
- 45:09Speaker 1: people that likes to prepare everything. I just like doing
- 45:13Speaker 1: that and knowing that we're bringing we're pretty much packing
- 45:16Speaker 1: up the studio. Yeah, and taking the studio to Colorado
- 45:19Speaker 1: now because we're like, they have a great setup. If
- 45:22Speaker 1: you want to come, maybe us live in Colorado Springs
- 45:26Speaker 1: December fifth and sixth, twenty twenty five. Next month, bfytw
- 45:31Speaker 1: is doing a live show at Peak Improv Theater in
- 45:34Speaker 1: Colorado Springs, Colorado. The tickets are only fifteen dollars. You
- 45:38Speaker 1: can get them through the Peak Improv Theater website or
- 45:41Speaker 1: go to bfytwpod dot com. There's actually a picture of
- 45:45Speaker 1: the Peak Improv logo. Click on that. I'll take you
- 45:47Speaker 1: right to their calendar December fifth and sixth. But we're
- 45:50Speaker 1: taking everything with us, Like we're just mantling all this
- 45:53Speaker 1: stuff and bringing it on an aeroplane to Colorado, and
- 45:58Speaker 1: I'm excited, but at the same time, I'm like I
- 46:00Speaker 1: need to picture everything and pretty much draw it out,
- 46:03Speaker 1: like what does the stage look like? What's the measurements
- 46:05Speaker 1: because I only have so we only have so many
- 46:08Speaker 1: cables and they're only so long.
- 46:10Speaker 2: Right, we can only do so much with that, and yeah,
- 46:12Speaker 2: and we're our biggest concern is that it's gonna end
- 46:15Speaker 2: up being a case of like the cords are too.
- 46:17Speaker 1: Short, or we're down a mic or t s A
- 46:22Speaker 1: decided they weren't gonna let anything through. That's what I'm
- 46:25Speaker 1: like really worried about. Or we lost your luggage and
- 46:28Speaker 1: I'm just saying to be like, you fucking did not.
- 46:31Speaker 2: So that's that pretty much stuff that anybody would really
- 46:35Speaker 2: be concerned about, like losing luggage or technical error with
- 46:39Speaker 2: the entire studio in the PA. But beyond that, like
- 46:44Speaker 2: it's perfectly fine, Like we're totally excited for this, We're
- 46:47Speaker 2: looking forward to the people.
- 46:48Speaker 1: Who are gonna be or can't wait to hang out
- 46:50Speaker 1: with everybody. People we know and people we don't. Yeah,
- 46:52Speaker 1: like it's gonna be great. It's gonna be a good time.
- 46:54Speaker 2: And uh, yeah, definitely if you can be out that
- 46:58Speaker 2: way during that time, catch us there.
- 47:00Speaker 1: Uh, tickets are for sale, fifteen bucks. Put that ship
- 47:04Speaker 1: in his hand. Yes, please, I need the money. Now
- 47:09Speaker 1: come out and see us. It'll be fun, it'll be
- 47:12Speaker 1: good time.
- 47:12Speaker 2: And for episode three hundred, which not a whole lot
- 47:14Speaker 2: of podcasts can say they've gotten.
- 47:15Speaker 1: That, Yeah, consistently, never missing an episode.
- 47:18Speaker 2: Bright, We've always put out something, even if it's something
- 47:21Speaker 2: like this where we're just talking about stuff which people
- 47:24Speaker 2: do enjoy, because sometimes you just need someone to listen to. Uh,
- 47:28Speaker 2: and I get that one hundred percent. And like if
- 47:30Speaker 2: you if you go and listening.
- 47:33Speaker 1: To us, we are.
- 47:36Speaker 2: We have had plenty of other like milestone episodes, like
- 47:40Speaker 2: obviously three hundred coming up, we've done two hundred and one.
- 47:45Speaker 1: We did them as special acis.
- 47:47Speaker 2: As I've discovered through my perusal of our episodes and
- 47:51Speaker 2: how far we've come, I've noticed that we've also have
- 47:54Speaker 2: done these kind of.
- 47:55Speaker 1: Like mini milestones in a way.
- 47:57Speaker 2: Yeah, so we know all that. For episode one hundred,
- 48:01Speaker 2: we did task Master, which is pretty cool that we're
- 48:04Speaker 2: doing it again. For three hundred, but for episode two
- 48:08Speaker 2: hundred we did uh T, tw T, y C and
- 48:15Speaker 2: the list. So I think TDW was Toker's Wild, the
- 48:20Speaker 2: Talker's Wild, Toker's Wild, and tw C was.
- 48:24Speaker 1: Was that goddamn uh? That was what we do next
- 48:29Speaker 1: to it? The No, it wasn't that one. I was like, okay,
- 48:33Speaker 1: said Talkers Wild with Smoggy the Dragon, Yeah, which I
- 48:38Speaker 1: fucking love Smoggy. Oh my god, it was so fucking good.
- 48:44Speaker 1: I remember the reels going up and then the Talkers
- 48:48Speaker 1: were me. I think, right, yeah, the Tokers and stuff.
- 48:52Speaker 1: Oh did we do that one? No, we didn't do
- 48:55Speaker 1: that there. I'm trying to think where we did that. Yeah,
- 48:57Speaker 1: I'm trying to pull them back to it now, okay, yeah,
- 49:00Speaker 1: because I don't really remember if that's the one. Was
- 49:02Speaker 1: the episode two hundred? Yeah, the Tooker's Wild and something else?
- 49:09Speaker 1: But the list was also there. Oh, because if we
- 49:11Speaker 1: did a multi episode two hundred, that's why what was it?
- 49:16Speaker 1: So it was take your chances, take your chance. I
- 49:19Speaker 1: was only get it, but you had no fucking I
- 49:21Speaker 1: knew what the original game was and I didn't want.
- 49:23Speaker 2: To, So we did the Talker's Wild took your chances
- 49:25Speaker 2: and the list for episode two hundred.
- 49:28Speaker 1: But did you know that for episode fifty we did
- 49:31Speaker 1: h dangan Ropa Perilous Predicament podcast. Oh my god, episode
- 49:38Speaker 1: fifty Yeah, I barely remember. That was that our first
- 49:41Speaker 1: dangan ropa one, I believe.
- 49:42Speaker 2: So it was one of the first that Aaron had
- 49:45Speaker 2: introduced us to because he was hard in.
- 49:48Speaker 1: His new hardcore fan fandom. Yeah, no, hits it hard
- 49:54Speaker 1: and I love it. I love his passion. No, it's
- 49:56Speaker 1: it's I get it. I do too, Like I'm just
- 49:59Speaker 1: glad he's like, fuck, yeah, dude, I don't care. I
- 50:02Speaker 1: like this shit.
- 50:02Speaker 2: Yeah. He put together a game based on his favorite
- 50:05Speaker 2: ang and ropa and it was you, Jorge Crunchy.
- 50:11Speaker 1: Oh my god. Yeah, it's all good. But yeah, if
- 50:17Speaker 1: you want to listen to it, you just told you
- 50:19Speaker 1: it's episode fifty. So we did kind of like a
- 50:23Speaker 1: big episode.
- 50:23Speaker 2: Then we've had guest episodes where we had multiple guests on,
- 50:26Speaker 2: but they were like usually regular games or something to
- 50:30Speaker 2: that nature, right, right, And of course episode hundred was
- 50:33Speaker 2: task Master. But then at episode one fifty, literally fifty
- 50:37Speaker 2: episodes through, we did another mini milestone with episode one
- 50:42Speaker 2: fifty by w bfytw does the chase.
- 50:48Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, the chase I forgot about. This is
- 50:52Speaker 1: one that had Andy in it. Yeah, yeah, he was
- 50:55Speaker 1: the chaser or whatever. Yeah, I forgot about that. Wow
- 50:59Speaker 1: that If you guys don't know. The chase is really cool.
- 51:02Speaker 1: It's a semi team slash individual game where it's trivia
- 51:07Speaker 1: and usually it's a specialized trivia and then it goes
- 51:10Speaker 1: into general trivia I think or something like that. But
- 51:13Speaker 1: you were playing as a team against the chaser, but
- 51:17Speaker 1: you're also playing for yourself to get the most points
- 51:19Speaker 1: out of everybody type of thing, right. But it's really
- 51:21Speaker 1: cool because like they'll ask you of a set of
- 51:23Speaker 1: questions and then the chaser, which was Andy I'm pretty
- 51:28Speaker 1: sure from the improv group Defiant Monkey buy their book
- 51:32Speaker 1: online Improv books, and uh they try to get more right,
- 51:38Speaker 1: catching up to you and pretty much taking your money away,
- 51:42Speaker 1: points away.
- 51:43Speaker 2: Yeah so much. Yeah.
- 51:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:46Speaker 2: And then and then episode two undred we know would
- 51:48Speaker 2: be a f I t W The Tokers Wild.
- 51:51Speaker 1: You know the other one you already forgot, the one
- 51:53Speaker 1: that I've already forgotten. Yep, yep, that one Taking chances,
- 51:57Speaker 1: Take your chances.
- 51:58Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, and then episode two fifty not even that
- 52:02Speaker 2: far away ago technically speaking, what are we get to?
- 52:04Speaker 1: Yeah? Three, okay, fifty Choker's Wild with the gate Leapers.
- 52:10Speaker 1: That's what we did on two figure now, Like obviously
- 52:14Speaker 1: we've done these games also outside of these like many milestone,
- 52:19Speaker 1: many milestones and whatnot.
- 52:20Speaker 2: I liked it, but I just happen to know as
- 52:23Speaker 2: a pattern that we're always like always like, oh man,
- 52:25Speaker 2: this big task Master things coming up.
- 52:27Speaker 1: Forgetting that not even fifty episodes.
- 52:29Speaker 2: Ago we did another big game we do whatever we
- 52:32Speaker 2: just did like win Aaron's Money, like yeah, two or
- 52:36Speaker 2: three times already, right, yeah, twice.
- 52:38Speaker 1: We've done it twice minimum that I know of, and
- 52:41Speaker 1: we played the wrong show once. Yeah, yeah, Like there's
- 52:44Speaker 1: always something special going on. But you think every fifty
- 52:47Speaker 1: is about once a year, right, because fifty two weeks
- 52:50Speaker 1: a year or again, we don't take we always put
- 52:52Speaker 1: something out every week.
- 52:53Speaker 2: So it's yeah, it's just it's just really funny that, like,
- 52:57Speaker 2: and then of all those we've only ever done how
- 53:00Speaker 2: many live shows one two, three, four, four live shows.
- 53:07Speaker 1: One two, three, four, This will be five I think
- 53:10Speaker 1: five or six. The list for the Jersey we did.
- 53:15Speaker 2: Choker's Wild for Mini con yep, we did task Master.
- 53:20Speaker 1: We did task Master and Dragon in their basement and their basement.
- 53:26Speaker 1: That was good and there were cupcakes if you're right,
- 53:29Speaker 1: Oh my god, it was so good. I love. And
- 53:35Speaker 1: then we one more and then I can't remember. I
- 53:39Speaker 1: thought we did one more, so I think we do,
- 53:41Speaker 1: but I just can't remember.
- 53:42Speaker 2: I mean, I I was gonna say, if this upcoming
- 53:45Speaker 2: is going to be our fourth one great awesome, right,
- 53:49Speaker 2: then that'd be great.
- 53:50Speaker 1: I'm I'm excited. And Colorado's gorgeous. And you've never been
- 53:53Speaker 1: to Colorado? Right?
- 53:55Speaker 4: Uh?
- 53:55Speaker 1: No, No, never been as far as I know. Aaron
- 53:57Speaker 1: hasn't either, and I'm I'm so excited, especially to go
- 54:01Speaker 1: in December. It's gonna be fucking gorgeous right now. I've
- 54:04Speaker 1: never been to Colorado Springs. I've been to like Breckenridge
- 54:07Speaker 1: and Denver and like the areas around and whatnot, so
- 54:11Speaker 1: I'm excited to see a new area that I haven't
- 54:13Speaker 1: been to. It's like one of my favorite things to
- 54:15Speaker 1: do is to walk around like places that I don't
- 54:18Speaker 1: know and just like take it all in and shit.
- 54:21Speaker 1: And he's my handler to make sure I can get home. Yeah,
- 54:23Speaker 1: make sure he doesn't get lost. Yeah, I will get lost.
- 54:25Speaker 1: And I'm like, well, I'm part of this world now.
- 54:29Speaker 5: I guess I.
- 54:29Speaker 1: Live in the Colorado Mountain.
- 54:31Speaker 3: I do.
- 54:31Speaker 1: I'll just accept it too, I live amongst the bears. Yeah.
- 54:35Speaker 1: So so so the phone we have to get is
- 54:36Speaker 1: gonna have to have some form of GPS, and it's
- 54:39Speaker 1: just in case. Yeah, might be just case. We just
- 54:42Speaker 1: need a local map.
- 54:42Speaker 2: That fine, but we're gonna be the only people, Like
- 54:47Speaker 2: we're on public where we need to go.
- 54:48Speaker 1: Hold on, let me pull out to my map. But
- 54:52Speaker 1: just like unfolding it and we're sitting there for like
- 54:54Speaker 1: twenty thirty seconds, you finally get it open right a little.
- 55:02Speaker 1: I need to magnifying glass. Hold on, Okay, got that
- 55:04Speaker 1: right here. Okay, so now if we you know, they
- 55:07Speaker 1: have like local maps. They don't need the big pull
- 55:10Speaker 1: out view maps, the local maps. We got the state
- 55:14Speaker 1: one to find the local place to get the local map,
- 55:16Speaker 1: I'll we get to know where to go.
- 55:17Speaker 2: Usually have like local maps next to the state ones
- 55:23Speaker 2: when you're in the county.
- 55:24Speaker 1: Oh yeah, but how do we know where that is? Like,
- 55:27Speaker 1: we we got.
- 55:27Speaker 2: To get there first, I'm sure we can find at
- 55:31Speaker 2: the airport. You're right, yest, Yeah, yeah, okay, all he
- 55:34Speaker 2: already has this all planned out. Guys, we're going to
- 55:36Speaker 2: record us trying to find out man was in.
- 55:38Speaker 1: The military and he can't navigate. For shit, I couldnot yet.
- 55:42Speaker 1: I can work at a GPS and a target a navigator.
- 55:45Speaker 1: We just can't figure out how it works. Oh no,
- 55:48Speaker 1: I could do that too. I just can't navigate. I
- 55:51Speaker 1: know how to, I just can't do it. I can
- 55:54Speaker 1: do electronically, that's no problem. I can do all that.
- 55:57Speaker 2: Sure you could do it when a fucking AI tells
- 55:59Speaker 2: you where, Sure anyone could fuck you that AI.
- 56:03Speaker 1: It's just looking up a gist. It's easy. That's nothing.
- 56:08Speaker 1: I told it to bring me here and it did. Yeah,
- 56:10Speaker 1: that's it. Said two points.
- 56:12Speaker 2: Have you ever tried being like, okay, brain navigate to
- 56:16Speaker 2: home and he just doesn't do it on its own? Like,
- 56:19Speaker 2: have you ever tried to check yourself to actually figure
- 56:21Speaker 2: out how to get home?
- 56:22Speaker 1: If I'm local, Yeah, it's easy, like if I'm within
- 56:25Speaker 1: like forty five minutes of that like the area, Yeah, I.
- 56:28Speaker 2: Can probably do it to be fair, Like, I just
- 56:30Speaker 2: need to be in an area once and I can
- 56:32Speaker 2: navigate through it all.
- 56:33Speaker 1: He's got this photo portal.
- 56:35Speaker 2: I don't know what pornographic I got this pornographic mapping.
- 56:41Speaker 1: It's weird as fuck. It's awesome, though I know all
- 56:45Speaker 1: the cracks and crep. Like. It's great because Oggie is
- 56:48Speaker 1: like the perfect companion to go on trips where you
- 56:51Speaker 1: can go to shady areas and feel fine.
- 56:53Speaker 2: I don't need a compass, no, like he gets just
- 56:56Speaker 2: need a phone. I just need to have walked through
- 56:58Speaker 2: the area at least once.
- 56:59Speaker 1: Yeah, And it's nice because he tries.
- 57:01Speaker 3: I don't know why.
- 57:03Speaker 1: I'm never gonna get it explained, but it's great. It's great,
- 57:06Speaker 1: like I have no problems, just be like, all right,
- 57:08Speaker 1: I can go to this area, get mad in the
- 57:10Speaker 1: character for the entire week or however long we're at
- 57:13Speaker 1: the place, and just like not to worry about shit
- 57:15Speaker 1: because like, oh, he's ninety percent of the time around
- 57:18Speaker 1: where I am and can get me back to where
- 57:20Speaker 1: we need to be. Or I only went so far
- 57:23Speaker 1: and I know where I am and I know not
- 57:25Speaker 1: to go any further. But fucking like just walking around.
- 57:29Speaker 2: I'm not talking when I say you could probably drop
- 57:32Speaker 2: me off in the middle of the woods and if
- 57:33Speaker 2: I never eventually navigate my way back to civilization, I
- 57:36Speaker 2: could then walk you back to where you dropped me off.
- 57:39Speaker 1: Yeah. It's fucking crazy, man, I love it.
- 57:42Speaker 2: I don't know why, Okay from getting lost so many times.
- 57:48Speaker 1: So we went into talking about three hundred into this. Yeah,
- 57:52Speaker 1: but yes, uh, the three hundred episode we're stupid man
- 57:55Speaker 1: excited for in theory, we should have good video as
- 57:58Speaker 1: well going with it. That will be everywhere Patreon first,
- 58:02Speaker 1: you know it, right, Yeah, I'm super excited about that,
- 58:06Speaker 1: super excited about.
- 58:06Speaker 2: Other than that, we're working on some personal stuff going
- 58:10Speaker 2: on five years now. But I'm going to paint those figures.
- 58:15Speaker 1: Oh my god. Ogie says he's gonna paint something that
- 58:19Speaker 1: he's been saying. I'm gonna say, I'm like, I get
- 58:21Speaker 1: this painted, figures, figures painted.
- 58:24Speaker 2: There's it's never gonna happen because the whole time, I'm
- 58:26Speaker 2: gonna be like, Nah.
- 58:28Speaker 1: To give yourself the motivation, since you're on your off season,
- 58:32Speaker 1: make it a show. Put your phone down, record you
- 58:34Speaker 1: painting one figure and just talk to it, just painfully
- 58:37Speaker 1: going I don't want to do this anything else. You
- 58:42Speaker 1: have to you have to put it on Patriot. Hey, everybody,
- 58:46Speaker 1: you you would do to motivate Aggie into painting his
- 58:48Speaker 1: fucking Oh god, I'm not saying bully, I'm saying encourage motivation.
- 58:55Speaker 1: It's just aggressively. I didn't say aggressively any point. No,
- 58:59Speaker 1: just like no, no, not even just like, hey, Augie,
- 59:05Speaker 1: we love passively aggressive, not even aggressive, no, no, no,
- 59:09Speaker 1: just you passive. What we would really enjoy is part
- 59:14Speaker 1: of Patreon, would be to watch you paint one figure,
- 59:19Speaker 1: just one and record it just for us, just for Patreon.
- 59:25Speaker 1: We love you. That is all signed three hearts in Patreon.
- 59:32Speaker 1: Like if they do this, if they're just like asking, like, hey,
- 59:35Speaker 1: would you do one? Just just do one video of
- 59:37Speaker 1: you painting stuff. You don't even have to talk to me. Yeah, sure,
- 59:40Speaker 1: I'll do that and just never do it because I forget, okay,
- 59:45Speaker 1: putting it off. Maybe what it really is. So what
- 59:48Speaker 1: you guys have to do is stagger your message just
- 59:51Speaker 1: so that way it's a God I'm gonna get Garage
- 59:55Speaker 1: of love is to get me fucking docs, not at all.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: I'm just trying to help you, man.
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: Yeah, beyond that, we've been doing this for a fucking while.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: You have man, six years. BFI has been going strong.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Six years. It's crazy and it seems like every year
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: just gets a little bit better. We we we helped
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: start odd Pods and Media like we were we were
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: one of the first shows, one of the founding members
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: to do odd Pods and throughout all those years. It's
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: been four years now, I think with odd Pods almost
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: five and it's been crapy and part of that network.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: It's a great little group of other podcasters just just
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: trying to like survive in the podcast world, man, But
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: it's been it's been great. We've done that again. We've
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: already mentioned the live shows, the new one coming up.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: We're gonna Crown of Victor for task Master, which would
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: be cool. They get to go home with the trophy.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: The studio throughout the years that we created and built
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: with our own fucking hands and shade God damn, this
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: place is like come along and it still is. It's
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: always improving, which has been huge. Doing the show this
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: winter won't be as bad as a Head and the
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: previous winters, because I.
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: Mean the previous winners wasn't even that bad to be horrible,
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: but even better this year now that like Aggie and
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: I pretty much disassembled the entire everything in here, took
- 1:01:21Speaker 6: it all out and insulated the floor like properly and
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: shit like it's I already noticed the difference, like yeah,
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: and then the sound insulation that you mentioned earlier, and
- 1:01:32Speaker 6: that that's.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: The sound inflation is huge, like at this point, like
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: tempera control. We got that under wraps. It's it's just
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: the sound. But the thing is is it's the nature
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: of how close we are to the road versus we're
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: out in the.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: Middle of nowhere.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: So people are gonna ride their engines, people make as
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: much noise as they want during the day because well
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: it's during the day, and is there right too, I
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: guess yeah, if we were recording at like late at night,
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: when there's a sound ordinance, then we never would have
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: worried about that.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: But fuck that our old and tire. Yeah, but we
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: all also be found sleep on the micah right, So
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: but we have gotten a new upgrades for the studio.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: If anybody hasn't noticed, again, thank you Patreon. We all
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: have these very nice sterling mics now and these things
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: are freaking sick like it's and it's thanks to you guys.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: We're able to do like way Christmas recordings now and
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: it makes the editing process a lot easier. But we
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: have a lot more big plans coming up, especially through
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: the beginning of the year. I know there's a lot
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: more when Aaron Randolph's Money episodes already planned. We've got
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: a lot of cool little specials we're gonna do. I'm
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: hoping for at least two new live shows next year
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: in the local area that I'm hoping like so far,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: we've got to go to do them. We've got to
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: figure out a time and day real more than anything,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: and what we're gonna do, so I could be something
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: fun for like springtime and summer. It's when we're gonna
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: plan it. I think so again, Western New York area. Hey,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: if you like fucking wine, not fucking wine, if you
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: like to drink, if you like the fuck wine, do
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: you like the fuck wine? Do I have a fucking
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: winery and vineyard for you. Don't do me vineyard for
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: wine lovers, because that's fuck Because fuck you that's wine. Yeah,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: because fuck you, that's wine. This is something in the
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: process actually, which is great. We've already got.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: To get to come out, but we have to go
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: to do the process. It's kind of funny living near
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: so many vineyards because it's like.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Oh, we worked for one, which is yeah, just so much.
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: It's like it's like around here having your own wine
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: isn't anything.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: No, it's cool.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure people have like their own private labels
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: of their own private stuff.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: Oh god, yeah, fuck it? Why not? This is our wine.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: We call it what we want. But we're one hundred
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: percent making that this year, which is gonna be nice.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: I can't. I got I don't want to make like
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: two or three because I want to do like the
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: original label one, the probably the black and red, yeah,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: but the original like the microphone and logo. Then I
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: wanted to probably do the hydrate or some didraate one.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: I gotta figure something out with that. Make it more juice.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know, Like we.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: Gotta come up with the college yeah, make it just
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: welches yeah, or like everyone we.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: Can do a non alcoholic wine and just like we can't.
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: Yeah, that's.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: One. It'd be the non alcoholic version and the winery
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: were partnering up with is one we used to work with.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: And if you are in the area, a Western New York,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: no joke. It's on the Niagara Wine Trail. It's called
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: a gust of Sun Winery. It's amazing. They've got a
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: little pizza oven in there now and they make little
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: pizza so you can get like pizza with your wine. Uh.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: We used to specialize in like pairings and stuff. They
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: are bringing that back. But they have a nice pavilion outpack,
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: very nice enclosure. They also have the vin you can
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: walk through and upstairs it's like a little lounge was
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: round sound. But the plan is to perform a show there,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: hopefully early next year, and then again later in the spring.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: So go wait up the winery, come check us out there.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: It'll be fun. I also want to do another one
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: in like a theater theater. So let me ask your
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: opinion after this. Say that goes great, because it's gonna
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: go great, it's gonna be amazing. Then the winery thing
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: goes great, What would you think about doing it on
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: stage and like a movie theater, like not like task Master,
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: just like another live show. If like one us planned off, No,
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: and I'd be like in the summer or fall or
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: something next year type of thing. I mean, we could
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: pose that question later.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: Yeah, because now we don't know what we're gonna be
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: doing now.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: I'm just like really feeling this. Now we should talk
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: about that again. Peace Left in Blood, Western New York.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: Holy crap, their stuff is so good. Go check it
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: out to always send you. Dang, what else do we
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: have all you for the show? Anything else you can
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: think of? Nope, that's it all. He's done. Nope, we're done.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: That's fair. Now there is other than that. That's what
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: we got coming up.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: We're just doing regular shows and what we can until then,
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: we hope to see you then.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: Once again.
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: It is December fifth and sixth this year at in
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: Colorado Springs at the Improv Improv Theater. There are tickets
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: for sale fifteen bucks.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: We will be there.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: We'll be hanging out, of course, and then other than that,
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: that's pretty much it.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: It's pretty much it. Aaron should hopefully be turned back
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: and we'll hopefully be.
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: Back next week and and stop leaving us here and
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: transforming into a cat.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: That's so weird. I wish I would have known about
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: that earlier.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: And also would really wish he would stop licking his
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: balls in front of me. Hey, if you can do it, though,
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: I mean he was doing it even before as did
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: you ever realize that kind of.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Like folds in into himself. It's so weird. It must
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: have been a stage combat class, yeah, like dudes like
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: crazy flex. But anyways, yeah, yeah, yeah, that was gonna
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: be in it for us. You can find us UH
