- 2:22Speaker 1: any of the footage. I don't subscribe to that bullshit. Okay,
- 2:31Speaker 1: I don't buy into it. We are not a political podcast.
- 2:34Speaker 1: We're not going to not be speaking about it or
- 2:36Speaker 1: All I'm here to say is are you okay?
- 2:39Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 2:40Speaker 1: Is everybody okay? Answer is no, because I have no
- 2:42Speaker 1: idea who's going to win this election. By the time
- 2:45Speaker 1: you're watching this on YouTube or listening to this on
- 2:48Speaker 1: our podcast, results are you feeling? Are you feeling all right?
- 2:52Speaker 1: I'm worried about everybody. Get in this dumpster and let
- 2:55Speaker 1: us hug you. It's gonna be all right.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Let's just have fun.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Okay, we've got it on the vision board, gonna make it.
- 3:01Speaker 2: It's gonna be okay.
- 3:03Speaker 1: All right, let's get into this episode entitled something about wolves.
- 3:09Speaker 2: A wolf in sheep's clothing?
- 3:11Speaker 1: Who's that? Do you think? Cody or David?
- 3:14Speaker 2: Oh? My god, David?
- 3:16Speaker 1: Probably Cody, but it could be a wolf in the sheets.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Not sure, but that's what the title was. We had
- 3:27Speaker 1: some interesting things happen in this episode. We've got Christine
- 3:32Speaker 1: open mouth kissing David at her front door. Hey baby,
- 3:39Speaker 1: the mics please, I don't want to hear them. Kids
- 3:45Speaker 1: shopping for rings and stuff. We'll get there. We've got
- 3:48Speaker 1: Mary and her carriage house's makeover for HGTV.
- 3:53Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 3:54Speaker 1: And then we have what we're really here to talk about,
- 3:57Speaker 1: which is the conversation between early Cue and based Janelle. Yes,
- 4:03Speaker 1: that was great, it was I loved it. I later
- 4:05Speaker 1: three minute of it left us started.
- 4:08Speaker 2: We start with a dinner at Christine's house with David
- 4:12Speaker 2: where he's going to meet some of the kids for
- 4:14Speaker 2: the first and Mickelty talking about farts like what am do?
- 4:22Speaker 2: Have you started and pucked in front of each other.
- 4:24Speaker 2: That's real, that's real connection.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Again, we have Tony and McKelty auditioning for their own
- 4:33Speaker 1: show or something. No one wants it and I missed.
- 4:37Speaker 2: I'm tired of it this whole I watched this episode
- 4:41Speaker 2: twice and I zoned out during this whole scene both times.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Because we've already heard this. We ata cared Christine how
- 4:48Speaker 1: you attacked David on your third date and compelled him
- 4:51Speaker 1: to make out with you. We've already read about. Plus
- 4:54Speaker 1: you're already married for real. All of these children have
- 4:57Speaker 1: gone to your wedding and we were there too. Oh.
- 5:01Speaker 1: I'm just getting so annoyed. And I know TLC is
- 5:04Speaker 1: dedicated to showing us this courtship, but I couldn't be
- 5:07Speaker 1: more uninterested.
- 5:08Speaker 2: I mean, I really don't care. The only thing I
- 5:10Speaker 2: cared about was Peyden kind of saying he has a
- 5:14Speaker 2: problem with it. He's like, yeah, would it matter? If
- 5:17Speaker 2: I had a problem with you guys being together, and
- 5:19Speaker 2: David tells him to his face the first time he's
- 5:22Speaker 2: meeting this kid, no, it wouldn't matter because we're still
- 5:25Speaker 2: gonna be together. I'm like, goddamn, yeah. I mean, I'm
- 5:29Speaker 2: glad you're a nice guy at all. And it seems
- 5:31Speaker 2: like the kids have adjusted to you now. But that's
- 5:33Speaker 2: a audacious thing to say.
- 5:35Speaker 1: It's savage, but let's be real. He's following Christine's lead,
- 5:39Speaker 1: and she's been saying this entire time, like I'm going
- 5:41Speaker 1: to make out in front of my kids and I
- 5:44Speaker 1: don't care. And if you don't like it, get over it,
- 5:46Speaker 1: even if you're twelve years old. Truly don't like it. Yeah,
- 5:49Speaker 1: I know you don't a lot of people don't like it.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Yeah. And Christine even acknowledges that Peyden and I think
- 5:55Speaker 2: Isabelle are having a tougher time with David. But she's like,
- 5:59Speaker 2: out a, I'm just gonna have to geze. I know,
- 6:02Speaker 2: like you, okay, enjoy your yaki stobin noodles or something that.
- 6:06Speaker 1: You make a Hawaiian haystack.
- 6:09Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Keeping in mind, I'm born and raised in Hawaii, as
- 6:12Speaker 1: was my father before me. We have nothing that even
- 6:15Speaker 1: resembles chow maine dry chow maine noodles with chicken and
- 6:20Speaker 1: soup and cheese and pineapple or something and almonds. Yikes,
- 6:24Speaker 1: white people, But I mean maybe it tastes great. I mean, baby,
- 6:28Speaker 1: white people for real?
- 6:29Speaker 2: Yes, I say, as a white person, what.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Did you think about Tony talking about farting and stuff like?
- 6:35Speaker 1: These people have been together for like two months at
- 6:38Speaker 1: this point. I wasn't even acknowledging that I fart or
- 6:42Speaker 1: ooop in front of my husband at that time, and
- 6:44Speaker 1: I never still don't.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I never still do not. Ever. I hate that.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I will not admit that I do that much less
- 6:50Speaker 1: ever do that in front of my husband.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Well, some people maintain that that's like next level intimacy, Okay,
- 6:57Speaker 2: that it's like you're really close to your partner. If
- 6:59Speaker 2: you can open like that in front of them, that's
- 7:01Speaker 2: great for you.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Yeah, No, it is actually great for you. If that
- 7:04Speaker 1: really does signify intimacy in your relationship, then I love that.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I actually think that's great. I could never I could
- 7:13Speaker 1: never ever, And I just feel like Tony bringing it
- 7:17Speaker 1: up is just him trying to grab the attention from
- 7:21Speaker 1: everybody make a stupid joke, and I'm like, Tony, you're
- 7:24Speaker 1: not funny, funny, you're not intelligent. Your hair looks terrible tonight.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I don't know if anybody's told you that. And Michelt,
- 7:31Speaker 1: you're just as bad, trying to fire Avalon from whatever
- 7:35Speaker 1: dumb job she has. I'm like, both of you need
- 7:37Speaker 1: to leave.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Nobody asked for you, nobody called you into the room.
- 7:41Speaker 1: You can leave.
- 7:42Speaker 2: You're so boring. I zone out every time you're on
- 7:44Speaker 2: the d VA. I hate them. Sick of them me too.
- 7:49Speaker 1: I like Aspen, Sure, I love Isabelle. Yeah, I think
- 7:53Speaker 1: Mitch seems great. He's just like I got to show
- 7:55Speaker 1: up for my wife just in case something goes left,
- 7:57Speaker 1: but I'd really rather not be here. Yeah, And of course,
- 8:00Speaker 1: truly who's still somewhat acting out, but like, who can
- 8:03Speaker 1: blame her?
- 8:03Speaker 2: I mean, honestly, her mom's making out with this old guy, yeah,
- 8:07Speaker 2: in front of her at every turn. Yep. I could, Oh,
- 8:11Speaker 2: I just can't. And then we have like a weird
- 8:14Speaker 2: segment with Cody filming himself in his mcmhonson his fifty
- 8:20Speaker 2: fifth birthday, fifty five, and he's having a change of heart,
- 8:24Speaker 2: I guess or he wants us to believe that he's
- 8:26Speaker 2: having a change of heart, because he's saying, I'm just
- 8:28Speaker 2: reflecting all my life and I just like really want
- 8:31Speaker 2: to be a good dad again. I just really want
- 8:33Speaker 2: to care about my kids. I had this dream and
- 8:35Speaker 2: my five oldest would live like right down the street
- 8:38Speaker 2: from me and come over all the time. And now nobody.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Talks to you. Then he breaks down, of course, yeah whatever,
- 8:45Speaker 1: and he says it wasn't because of polygamy, it was
- 8:48Speaker 1: because I actually authentically enjoyed my family. What happened.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't believe that.
- 8:55Speaker 1: What happened, I do believe that. I think that in
- 8:58Speaker 1: the earlier seasons with Cody and his kids, he did
- 9:01Speaker 1: seem to enjoy his children. He did seem to be
- 9:04Speaker 1: all about family. So I'm I don't know what changed
- 9:07Speaker 1: around the time of COVID.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Look, my thing is words don't mean shit if you
- 9:12Speaker 2: can't back it up with your actions. So you can
- 9:14Speaker 2: say all this stuff like if you miss your family
- 9:16Speaker 2: and you want to be a good dad, but you're
- 9:18Speaker 2: not making the effort to do that. I mean, Maddie
- 9:21Speaker 2: still doesn't talk to you. Some of these other older
- 9:23Speaker 2: kids still don't.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Talk to you, most of them, I think, but most
- 9:25Speaker 1: of them you do not.
- 9:26Speaker 2: So you're recording this I don't know when, and you
- 9:29Speaker 2: want us to believe that you're having this change of heart,
- 9:31Speaker 2: But it doesn't mean shit.
- 9:33Speaker 1: It's January of twenty twenty three because he's a Capricorn, right,
- 9:35Speaker 1: I guess it's a Capricorn, So it's after the holidays,
- 9:39Speaker 1: and it's twenty twenty three, so it's not even this
- 9:42Speaker 1: current year. It's last year. It's certainly before anything has
- 9:45Speaker 1: happened with Garrison. But if we are to believe Cody,
- 9:49Speaker 1: then he is maybe exiting his rage, his season of
- 9:53Speaker 1: rage and red Pill and entering into this oh fuck,
- 9:57Speaker 1: season of what have I done? My entire family has
- 10:00Speaker 1: been destroyed, and my intention, my vision board, I want
- 10:05Speaker 1: to bring my family back together.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Wow.
- 10:08Speaker 1: But like, yeah, that's great, but you drove this into
- 10:12Speaker 1: a ditch. How are you going to get us out
- 10:14Speaker 1: of the ditch on the way to Nauvoo? Exactly? How
- 10:17Speaker 1: are you going to fix it?
- 10:18Speaker 2: Like?
- 10:18Speaker 1: What's your plan? And that's why I don't like even
- 10:20Speaker 1: listening to him talk or seeing his face. Yeah, because
- 10:22Speaker 1: he says a lot of shit.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Yeah, right, a lot.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Of sound and fury signifying absolutely nothing. Yeah, Like, it's
- 10:29Speaker 1: okay that you feel soon and disappointed and racked with guilt,
- 10:33Speaker 1: but what are you what's the action plan? What are
- 10:36Speaker 1: you going to do about it? He's got nothing to
- 10:37Speaker 1: say to that except for his wives betrayed him exactly,
- 10:40Speaker 1: and his kids betrayed him, and Maddie's jealous and a gossip.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Yeah, this is why I say words don't mean shit,
- 10:46Speaker 2: because you're not doing what Robin told you to do.
- 10:49Speaker 2: And that fake fight scene from two episodes ago where
- 10:51Speaker 2: she said you need to camp out on your kids's
- 10:53Speaker 2: doorsteps and make the effort that you can to get
- 10:58Speaker 2: in their good graces. So, yeah, you want to be
- 11:00Speaker 2: a good dad again. You want to be the hero
- 11:03Speaker 2: of your kids's stories for you, but you're not and
- 11:06Speaker 2: you're not making any actionable change. So miss me with that,
- 11:10Speaker 2: I don't give a shit.
- 11:11Speaker 1: I mean, you're just lying, and you're you're being deceitful,
- 11:13Speaker 1: and also you're just performing for the camera exactly. I mean,
- 11:16Speaker 1: later on in this episode, we've got you sitting down
- 11:19Speaker 1: with Janelle talking about like, I don't understand why the kids.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Hate me now, don't get me started on that.
- 11:23Speaker 1: I mean, I know I'm jumping ahead, but I'm like, okay, so,
- 11:25Speaker 1: which is it, Like you know you destroyed your family
- 11:27Speaker 1: and that you want to repair it, or that your
- 11:29Speaker 1: kids are just acting out and you have no idea
- 11:31Speaker 1: why exactly.
- 11:33Speaker 2: He's smart enough to know that people think he's a
- 11:35Speaker 2: bad dad, so he's going to make this self filmed
- 11:38Speaker 2: thing about Yeah, I want to be a good dad again,
- 11:40Speaker 2: I like really want to where come my kids' relationships
- 11:43Speaker 2: with But then in the same breath, you're talking to
- 11:46Speaker 2: Janelle about how Maddie's a gossip right and jealous of
- 11:49Speaker 2: you and Robin for some reason? Right the fuck up?
- 11:52Speaker 1: Absolutely, he's full of shit. He is. He's terrible. Yep,
- 11:55Speaker 1: he's infuriating.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Me.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Do he hate you?
- 12:00Speaker 2: And then we have Christine and David going ring shopping
- 12:05Speaker 2: and picking out their custom rings.
- 12:06Speaker 1: No mussnoring, so boring. I'm happy for you, Christine. I
- 12:11Speaker 1: love that you have a man who can take you
- 12:14Speaker 1: to the jewelry store and buy you a beautiful Marquis diamond.
- 12:19Speaker 1: And you're weird interwoven.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Black black and gold and black.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Gold and edgy metals stuff like I'm very happy for you,
- 12:28Speaker 1: so edgy. What did you think of the ring though ugly?
- 12:31Speaker 1: Did you think it was ugly?
- 12:32Speaker 2: Oh? So ugly? Everything about it. I mean, no offense, no.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Offense whatsoever, but it was so ugly.
- 12:40Speaker 2: I'm literally like Janelle, where I have a gold band,
- 12:43Speaker 2: me too, Like I don't give a shit about that
- 12:45Speaker 2: kind of stuff. I have my own like style. If
- 12:48Speaker 2: I were to pick something like that, and it's not that.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I wouldn't even pick a diamond because that's an inflated
- 12:55Speaker 1: industry and also sourced in a terrible way. I would
- 12:57Speaker 1: pick something probably lab grown or just a beautiful gemstone
- 13:02Speaker 1: from my mother or something like that. I would repurpose something.
- 13:04Speaker 1: But whatever, I'm not here to judge Christine. She seems
- 13:07Speaker 1: so happy. I actually love that David is taking care
- 13:11Speaker 1: of her and wants to give her nice things. She
- 13:14Speaker 1: truly deserves this. I was interested, though, to hear Janelle's say, like,
- 13:19Speaker 1: I would just rock a gold band. I would get
- 13:21Speaker 1: married on a mountain, honey, in my genes you that's right,
- 13:26Speaker 1: exactly like me exactly, not a lot of pomp and circumstance.
- 13:29Speaker 1: And then we cut to Mary and she's talking about
- 13:32Speaker 1: liking a square cut, but at the end of the day,
- 13:35Speaker 1: not really being ready to even think about that because
- 13:38Speaker 1: she's single and that's.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Weird, super weird. I feel like Mary's probably not going
- 13:43Speaker 2: to remarry anybody, or likely maybe she'll date around, but
- 13:46Speaker 2: I don't think she's going to be happy with that personally.
- 13:49Speaker 1: No why, I don't know.
- 13:50Speaker 2: I think she just is kind of weirded out by
- 13:53Speaker 2: the fact that she's fifty something and single and she
- 13:56Speaker 2: was married to a guy for thirty something years, like
- 13:58Speaker 2: that's a.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Lot, yeah, and also famous, yeah, and after Amos famous
- 14:04Speaker 1: Amos exactly, And I'm wondering, I don't really remember why
- 14:08Speaker 1: that relationship fell apart other than the rat clouds. The
- 14:12Speaker 1: forensic investigation into Amos, like did seem to suggest that
- 14:16Speaker 1: he was a cloud goblin and he was after her,
- 14:18Speaker 1: And then I get a lot of weird shit in
- 14:20Speaker 1: his past, and so she dumped him. And so if
- 14:22Speaker 1: I were her, I would be leary about who I
- 14:25Speaker 1: dated and who wanted to date me. Why, yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 14:30Speaker 1: But anyway, so they selected their rings and they're getting married.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Bits that's great. I'm happy for you. I just don't
- 14:36Speaker 2: want to see it.
- 14:37Speaker 1: They're gonna though. We're here, we're gonna se be here now.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Okay, fine, God. Then we have Mary with her carriage
- 14:48Speaker 2: house thing.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Yeah, let's get into it. We've got Jen showing up
- 14:53Speaker 1: and that gay guy who's the decorator. Yeah, guy, And
- 15:00Speaker 1: it's her birthday. She too, is a Capricorn, I do believe,
- 15:03Speaker 1: which makes a lot of sense for her business acumen.
- 15:06Speaker 1: And so she is getting the big reveal and it
- 15:09Speaker 1: looks great.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess the friends renovated her carriage house for her.
- 15:13Speaker 2: So it looks good.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Yes, And so now she can conduct her predatory business
- 15:17Speaker 1: practices selling a low budget terrible fashion to women who
- 15:21Speaker 1: want to buy it for some reason. Plus she has
- 15:24Speaker 1: an upstairs with a gym.
- 15:26Speaker 2: An exercise room.
- 15:27Speaker 1: She's lost weight. Ye, she's been working out or something
- 15:30Speaker 1: or the oh zembic of course.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's great. I'm happy for her. The carriage
- 15:35Speaker 2: house looked fine, it was cool. I'm just bought.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, I'm bought. Yes, But we're happy for Mary.
- 15:41Speaker 1: We're happy. And she does talk about her independence. Sure,
- 15:45Speaker 1: how she has been alone for a very long time,
- 15:49Speaker 1: and she acknowledges that her and Cody have been struggling
- 15:53Speaker 1: for years. And then they cut to that scene from
- 15:56Speaker 1: when Mary was asking for money to buy the B
- 15:58Speaker 1: and B, and Janelle's like, absolutely not. Cody's like, oh,
- 16:03Speaker 1: maybe in seventeen years you might be ready to do
- 16:05Speaker 1: that for you. And She's like, Okay, well, I'm just
- 16:07Speaker 1: going to go and hustle and have a sale and
- 16:09Speaker 1: make forty thousand dollars. I'll pay for that shit by myself,
- 16:12Speaker 1: and which she did and proceeded to live in that
- 16:15Speaker 1: way confidently for the subsequent years. And I mean she's
- 16:20Speaker 1: a bad bitch for that for sure.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Yes, And I love that about Mary. I think she's
- 16:24Speaker 2: a really cool person with that, and I'm glad that
- 16:26Speaker 2: she has her own little space. She talks about making
- 16:29Speaker 2: her own table, like whoever wants to sit at my
- 16:31Speaker 2: table is welcome, And I'm like, you know what, great
- 16:34Speaker 2: hashtag worthy up.
- 16:35Speaker 1: I'm happy for you found a family that's great, right half.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Them with your gay bit, But you're bored and I'm bored.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Okay, got it, got it moving on now.
- 16:44Speaker 2: The most entertaining part of the whole episode was Janelle
- 16:47Speaker 2: and Cody. Without a doubt, I mean, this was like
- 16:50Speaker 2: the bulk of everything.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Yes, so let's get there.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Yes.
- 16:54Speaker 1: So we're at Josephine's Bistro in the Attic, which is
- 16:57Speaker 1: I think the same restaurant that Christine took Janelle and
- 17:00Speaker 1: her weird friends too last season. Yeah, and Janelle was
- 17:03Speaker 1: just like, get me the fuck out of here with
- 17:05Speaker 1: these women. But she goes there to meet Cody. She
- 17:09Speaker 1: arrives on time looking fab I thought she looked great.
- 17:13Speaker 1: I thought she looked great, and it was like she
- 17:15Speaker 1: wasn't even trying to. She had her hair up in
- 17:17Speaker 1: a clip, she was wearing a little vest. She looked
- 17:20Speaker 1: like a mountaineer. Yep, she looked great. And here comes Cody,
- 17:23Speaker 1: prancing and dancing his way into that.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Room, his girls bouncing.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Girl's just bouncing. It's like, oh my god.
- 17:30Speaker 2: He's like, Wow, this is intimate.
- 17:31Speaker 1: So intimate for you and so close.
- 17:34Speaker 2: I need your money.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Though Janelle is just like, the fuck's going on here
- 17:39Speaker 1: doesn't make any sense.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Cody is so hoping he can wrap her around his
- 17:44Speaker 2: little finger again and manipulate her into giving them more
- 17:48Speaker 2: money because he's seen the writing on the wall. Mary's gone,
- 17:51Speaker 2: Stein's been gone. Now it's just Janelle. And even though
- 17:55Speaker 2: he doesn't give a shit about Janelle. They haven't seen
- 17:57Speaker 2: each other in forever, is what Janelle.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Says, Right, two years?
- 18:01Speaker 2: I mean the fuck.
- 18:02Speaker 1: So let's talk about that, okay, because it was I
- 18:05Speaker 1: think the day after Cody's birthday and I think Janelle's
- 18:09Speaker 1: or he says, it's like almost February of twenty twenty three,
- 18:13Speaker 1: and so the big fight at Christmas between Cody and
- 18:17Speaker 1: Janelle was December of twenty twenty one. I think you
- 18:23Speaker 1: So are you telling me then, mm hm, that Cody
- 18:26Speaker 1: didn't visit her or Savannah in the dormitory apartment. Yes,
- 18:31Speaker 1: and that also puts us into the r V as well. Yeah,
- 18:34Speaker 1: we already know he wasn't showing up during COVID to
- 18:36Speaker 1: the rental that she and the boys and Savannah were
- 18:38Speaker 1: living in. So he didn't go to the rental. Yeah,
- 18:41Speaker 1: he didn't go to the RV, and he didn't go
- 18:43Speaker 1: to the dormitory apartment. She hasn't seen him in two
- 18:46Speaker 1: years in her space.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Yes, But in this scene, he's like, well, I was
- 18:50Speaker 2: hoping we could reconcile a little bit, were you no?
- 18:54Speaker 2: Because in his talking head he says that that was
- 18:56Speaker 2: a bullshit pipe dream. He says from both of them.
- 18:59Speaker 2: I'm like, Ah, was not wanting to wrect.
- 19:01Speaker 1: She didn't show up to reconcile. She wants her money,
- 19:03Speaker 1: run her her money.
- 19:05Speaker 2: You were wanting it. This is Cody's m O though,
- 19:07Speaker 2: Like he can't take the soul blame for literally anything.
- 19:11Speaker 2: He has to rope other people into it at all times.
- 19:14Speaker 2: It's not my fault the marriage is ended. It's all
- 19:17Speaker 2: of our faults, right, It's not me wanting to reconcile
- 19:20Speaker 2: with Janelle, it's both of us. It's a bullshit pipe
- 19:23Speaker 2: dream from both of us. Like, she literally doesn't want
- 19:26Speaker 2: to reconcile with you at all.
- 19:27Speaker 1: No, you bring it up.
- 19:28Speaker 2: In this lunch and she's like, bitch, what we've had
- 19:31Speaker 2: all these conversations. I don't want to be married to you.
- 19:33Speaker 1: I mean, Janelle goes right into the conversation, getting right
- 19:37Speaker 1: to the point. She's like, what are we doing with
- 19:39Speaker 1: the land? Ye? Are you gonna buy me out? Or
- 19:42Speaker 1: are we going to finance this? What is happening? And
- 19:44Speaker 1: Cody just kind of titters and giggles and he's like,
- 19:48Speaker 1: oh my god, you're skipping right to the end. What
- 19:51Speaker 1: about you and me? What about reconciliation? And this is
- 19:54Speaker 1: that great scene where Janelle's just kind of she seems dumbstruck,
- 19:58Speaker 1: and she's like, she's like, we don't even exists in
- 20:00Speaker 1: the same universe, not.
- 20:02Speaker 2: At all, not at all. And she's there for business
- 20:05Speaker 2: because the weird loan that they have yes is up
- 20:09Speaker 2: in like three months, and Cody straight up tries to
- 20:12Speaker 2: deflect and he's like, well, no, we got many months.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:14Speaker 2: She's like, no, we've got like three months, right, we
- 20:17Speaker 2: need to figure out what the fuck we're doing.
- 20:19Speaker 1: And as she said, not last episode, but the episode
- 20:22Speaker 1: before that, she's got the money to pay her half
- 20:25Speaker 1: of this property ready to go. It's Cody that doesn't
- 20:28Speaker 1: have the money. Yep, it's Cody that's holding this whole
- 20:31Speaker 1: thing up. And he seems to take a little perverse
- 20:34Speaker 1: bit of joy by not talking to her about it,
- 20:37Speaker 1: by holding this over her head, by not giving her information.
- 20:40Speaker 1: And frankly, Janelle, you're stuck because you made the choice
- 20:44Speaker 1: to go in on this piece of property with Cody,
- 20:47Speaker 1: and this is the man you married, and now this
- 20:49Speaker 1: is the man you're stuck with.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Well, and he says in his talking head that he
- 20:54Speaker 2: thinks Janelle thinks he will screw her because he says
- 20:59Speaker 2: Janelle likes to screw him over, which is so wild.
- 21:02Speaker 2: But I'm like, in this moment, you're trying to screw
- 21:05Speaker 2: her over though, like you don't want to talk about
- 21:08Speaker 2: anything about buying her out, about getting her out of
- 21:11Speaker 2: the land. He asks her about building on it, and
- 21:14Speaker 2: she's like, well, I don't know if I can even
- 21:16Speaker 2: do that independently. I'd have to be calling you a lot.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Can we Yeah, can we talk about that? Because she says,
- 21:21Speaker 1: I would prefer to get the money, but if I
- 21:24Speaker 1: am going to get the land, then I will definitely
- 21:26Speaker 1: build on the hill. And he's like, yeah, but if
- 21:30Speaker 1: you build, you're going to be calling me up every week,
- 21:32Speaker 1: and she's like, yeah, that's a problem. I won't be
- 21:34Speaker 1: able to do that independently. I'm like, what is he
- 21:36Speaker 1: talking about. I don't know what in the world would
- 21:38Speaker 1: Janelle be calling him for every week if she built
- 21:41Speaker 1: a house for his help with the house for money?
- 21:44Speaker 2: Maybe well, because his name is on the part of
- 21:47Speaker 2: the land, so he might have to be involved in
- 21:49Speaker 2: some of the decisions, like with some of the contractors
- 21:52Speaker 2: and stuff like that, So maybe that's what it is.
- 21:55Speaker 2: But then Cody says something really fucked up in his
- 21:57Speaker 2: talking head where he says, if Janelle decides to build
- 22:01Speaker 2: on the property, then that leaves me to be free
- 22:06Speaker 2: because me and Robin will be like, oh, well there's
- 22:09Speaker 2: an ex wife on there, we won't be interested in it.
- 22:11Speaker 2: So I'm like, you want Janelle to take over all
- 22:14Speaker 2: of the land, Like that's what he's saying right now.
- 22:16Speaker 2: It's him and Robin's names on everything, right, with Janelle's
- 22:20Speaker 2: name on one and Mary's name on the other.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Is Robin's name on Janelle and Cody's plot as well?
- 22:26Speaker 2: I think, so maybe it's Cody and him, but Robin's
- 22:31Speaker 2: name is on a couple of time.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Definitely, yes.
- 22:34Speaker 2: So I don't know if he thinks that maybe Janelle
- 22:37Speaker 2: will take over the property and he's like, oh, I'll
- 22:38Speaker 2: be free, I don't know. He's fucking delusional, right, He
- 22:43Speaker 2: just doesn't want to be responsible for this land. He's
- 22:45Speaker 2: not gonna build on it.
- 22:47Speaker 1: I honestly think it's just he says whatever comes to
- 22:50Speaker 1: the mind to his mind in the moment. I don't
- 22:52Speaker 1: even know if he knows what he's saying. He's like, yeah, well,
- 22:54Speaker 1: if she decides to build then that gives me permission
- 22:57Speaker 1: to just get out of the area. I'm like, are
- 22:59Speaker 1: you talking about flag stuff? Are you talking about this
- 23:02Speaker 1: particular area around Coyote Pass? Like what are you even
- 23:05Speaker 1: speaking about? And wasn't Robin just talking a couple of
- 23:08Speaker 1: episodes ago or last episode about how she still has
- 23:11Speaker 1: hope for Janelle to be in the family and like
- 23:13Speaker 1: she really wants her to actually build and she would
- 23:16Speaker 1: love for Mary to do that. Like what is actually
- 23:18Speaker 1: true and what is false? You can't take anything he
- 23:22Speaker 1: has to say at face value.
- 23:23Speaker 2: No, not at all. It's all just a mess. And
- 23:26Speaker 2: I feel bad for Janelle because she's stuck in this.
- 23:28Speaker 2: I know she chose to, you know, put her name
- 23:31Speaker 2: on all of.
- 23:31Speaker 1: This show, and then she chose to pay it off
- 23:33Speaker 1: with him. I know I would I would have. I
- 23:35Speaker 1: don't know, honey, I would have compelled the sale. We're
- 23:37Speaker 1: going to have to sell. I do not want to
- 23:39Speaker 1: be a co owner with you in this property anymore.
- 23:42Speaker 1: No way, either buy me out or we're gonna have
- 23:44Speaker 1: to sell it.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Yeah, but he doesn't want to do anything with it.
- 23:47Speaker 2: So I would love to know what's happening with the
- 23:49Speaker 2: land right now because She's obviously not going to build
- 23:51Speaker 2: on it. She just built or just bought a fucking
- 23:54Speaker 2: farm in North Carolina. You're going to make a flower farm.
- 23:56Speaker 1: I believe she relocated her life to North Carolina. She
- 24:00Speaker 1: actually tells Cody in this conversation. She said, you know,
- 24:02Speaker 1: I would love to be around Maddie, and I'd love
- 24:04Speaker 1: to be around the heads, and I would probably just relocate.
- 24:07Speaker 1: And this is the door opening for Cody to say, well,
- 24:11Speaker 1: how come Maddie didn't tell me that she was pregnant.
- 24:14Speaker 1: This is not what we're here to talk about, Cody, No,
- 24:17Speaker 1: it's not. And anytime we try to talk about relationships
- 24:19Speaker 1: or the things that have gone right, you shut down
- 24:22Speaker 1: that conversation immediately because all of it is centered around Robin,
- 24:26Speaker 1: and you will not brook any conversation about Robin. But
- 24:30Speaker 1: you want to ask about Maddie.
- 24:31Speaker 2: I know so wild and Janelle knows in the back
- 24:34Speaker 2: of her mind. She says this in her talking head,
- 24:36Speaker 2: like Mattie told me. He hasn't seen her since Edie
- 24:39Speaker 2: was born. In Evie's three so it's been three years.
- 24:42Speaker 2: He hasn't been involved in Evie's life. What makes you
- 24:45Speaker 2: think he's going to be involved in this new baby's life.
- 24:48Speaker 1: She won't be, and he wasn't.
- 24:49Speaker 2: He doesn't give a shit, and he tries to pry
- 24:52Speaker 2: it out of Janelle, and Janelle's like, no, don't put
- 24:55Speaker 2: me in the middle, right.
- 24:56Speaker 1: She's like, there's a lot of nuances here and I
- 24:58Speaker 1: don't want to be in the middle. And then he
- 25:00Speaker 1: says jealousy and spite or jealousy and gossip.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Yep, it's because of jealousy and gossip. And she says, no,
- 25:07Speaker 2: there's more to it than that.
- 25:10Speaker 1: So gross.
- 25:10Speaker 2: He's so out of touch.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Jealous of what your mcmachin. What would Mattie be jealous of?
- 25:16Speaker 1: Mattie has her own relationship just like you do, Cody.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Mattie has her own children, just like you do. Mattie
- 25:22Speaker 1: has her own career, and she's successful, which you are not.
- 25:25Speaker 1: So what exactly is she jealous of? Unless it's Robin,
- 25:29Speaker 1: Unless it's the fact that you funneled all of this
- 25:31Speaker 1: money into the McMansion and into the LLC and stolen
- 25:34Speaker 1: from her mother, that's not jealousy. That's being irate that
- 25:38Speaker 1: you've stolen from Janelle.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Oh, for sure, jealous of what in his mind, I
- 25:42Speaker 2: think he thinks Mattie's jealous of all of the attention
- 25:45Speaker 2: he gives Robin and her kids, because that's what Cody's
- 25:49Speaker 2: been saying for the last couple of years, Like, they're
- 25:51Speaker 2: just jealous because I have a really sweet relationship with them.
- 25:54Speaker 2: I love Robin differently, blah blah blah. I'm involved with
- 25:57Speaker 2: them because we have a sweet experience. We have a
- 25:59Speaker 2: good experience. That's what he thinks it is.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Or it's COVID, like he keeps mentioning COVID. He's like,
- 26:06Speaker 1: because she says kind of at the top of their conversation,
- 26:09Speaker 1: like we're just so different. I mean, you're very selfish
- 26:12Speaker 1: and self absorbed. She's like, I'm independent and you're a
- 26:15Speaker 1: selfish fucking ass. It was just like, good god.
- 26:18Speaker 2: He's like, oh, only in the last two years.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Yeah, And she's like, no, it was before COVID that
- 26:24Speaker 1: you were not seeing our kids and that you were
- 26:27Speaker 1: being unfair and that this was not equitable. And he
- 26:29Speaker 1: can't hear it. He can't hear anything.
- 26:31Speaker 2: No, he really can't.
- 26:32Speaker 1: No, you can't say anything to him that he will receive. No,
- 26:35Speaker 1: So why are you there, Janelle? Well, she leaves and
- 26:37Speaker 1: I'm jumping ahead again. But she's like, yeah, I got
- 26:39Speaker 1: to get a lawyer because there's no talking to this
- 26:41Speaker 1: fool I know.
- 26:42Speaker 2: And does she end up blurring up? I don't remember.
- 26:44Speaker 1: I don't know. That's what I want to know. I
- 26:46Speaker 1: would love to I don't think there's an active lawsuit.
- 26:49Speaker 2: No, But again, there have.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Been rumors that he made a payout to Janelle the
- 26:54Speaker 1: last couple of years to pay her back for what
- 26:58Speaker 1: she put down on the McMahon but that's unsubstantiated. That's rumor.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Mill I have no idea.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Maybe they have a mediator. Maybe they don't have a lawyer,
- 27:06Speaker 2: but maybe they have somebody.
- 27:07Speaker 1: The attorney that she's recommending, she's like, all we want
- 27:10Speaker 1: to do is just sit down, you and me. Let's
- 27:12Speaker 1: go over the contract because apparently the contract that they
- 27:16Speaker 1: signed to purchase Coyote Pass was stupid. It was a
- 27:19Speaker 1: dumb financial decision. What a shop. Yeah, so she's like,
- 27:22Speaker 1: let's sit down in front of this lawyer who knows
- 27:24Speaker 1: who we both are, and let's have them look at
- 27:27Speaker 1: everything and come up with a game plan. But Cody,
- 27:30Speaker 1: by the time they leave, though, Cody's like, so, yeah,
- 27:32Speaker 1: let's get this other information and then we can call
- 27:34Speaker 1: the lawyer. Right what other information?
- 27:37Speaker 2: No, it's just bullshit. He just wants to prolong it.
- 27:40Speaker 2: He likes to keep Janelle on a string. This is
- 27:42Speaker 2: part of his abuse. I think it's just him saying
- 27:47Speaker 2: a bunch of crap, fluffing up their feathers and not
- 27:50Speaker 2: doing anything about it because he can't be bothered. He's
- 27:53Speaker 2: too busy siphoning all this money, moving shit around behind
- 27:56Speaker 2: the scenes to worry or care about anybody else's situation
- 27:59Speaker 2: that he put them.
- 28:00Speaker 1: But like in this moment in February of twenty twenty three,
- 28:03Speaker 1: with three months out of having to pay off this
- 28:06Speaker 1: balloon loan, which is what Janelle calls it, is he
- 28:09Speaker 1: really willing to do nothing and walk away from the
- 28:12Speaker 1: nine hundred thousand dollars payment they made for Coyote Pass
- 28:16Speaker 1: just to spite her. Probably yeah, okay, that's wild.
- 28:21Speaker 2: But please tell us that you think Janelle's got a
- 28:24Speaker 2: victim card that she's playing all the time. Please tell
- 28:27Speaker 2: us that Janelle's the one that wants all the power
- 28:30Speaker 2: because she wants to take it from you and shut
- 28:32Speaker 2: the fuck up, dude.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Yeah, And that all revolves around Robin because Janelle does
- 28:37Speaker 1: try to bring up the fact that the kids are
- 28:40Speaker 1: upset about Robin, yes, and that we can't even talk
- 28:43Speaker 1: to you, like this is an issue for us. And
- 28:45Speaker 1: I understand Cody that you don't think it's a valid issue,
- 28:48Speaker 1: but it's a legitimate issue for us. It's a legitimate
- 28:50Speaker 1: issue for our kids, and we would like to talk
- 28:53Speaker 1: to you about it. And as soon as Janelle tries
- 28:57Speaker 1: to do that, he shuts that shit down. She even
- 28:59Speaker 1: mentioned the conversation that she had with Robin. I don't
- 29:04Speaker 1: know when Robin was going to buy the mcmanson, and
- 29:06Speaker 1: we learned about this last season or the season before
- 29:09Speaker 1: that as well. Janelle actually mentioned it then, which is
- 29:12Speaker 1: what gives Robin the ammo to talk about it in
- 29:14Speaker 1: her talking head in this episode. But by the way
- 29:17Speaker 1: Janelle mentions it, she and Robin had a conversation in
- 29:21Speaker 1: which Janelle implored her, please please don't buy the mcmanson
- 29:25Speaker 1: if it's going to drain us of our resources, because
- 29:28Speaker 1: I really want to get out on Coyote Pass, that's
- 29:31Speaker 1: what the vision is, so please can you make sure
- 29:33Speaker 1: that you don't do that. And for some reason, Cody
- 29:36Speaker 1: comes to Janelle on her birthday and says, I heard
- 29:39Speaker 1: that you said this to Robin and that you were
- 29:42Speaker 1: mean to her and that you gave her a hard time.
- 29:45Speaker 1: And so Janelle at that point puts two and two
- 29:48Speaker 1: together and says, oh, okay, so they're talking about everybody
- 29:51Speaker 1: behind the scenes. And Robin ran back to Cody from
- 29:55Speaker 1: this conversation which was actually amiable according to Janelle, in
- 29:58Speaker 1: which they both seemingly agreed, and painted it like Janelle
- 30:02Speaker 1: was being antagonistic.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Yeah, and then Robin says in her talking head this
- 30:08Speaker 2: week that it was an amiable conversation, that they actually
- 30:12Speaker 2: agreed on this issue, and Robin just went to Cody
- 30:17Speaker 2: to inform him of this conversation. And now she's getting
- 30:21Speaker 2: blamed on the back end for the choices that Cody makes.
- 30:25Speaker 2: And this is where Robin talks about how there's this
- 30:27Speaker 2: new concept that I'm a puppet master and I put
- 30:30Speaker 2: all these spells around Cody and that I'm blamed for
- 30:33Speaker 2: the choices he makes, which is so ridiculous. Ha ha
- 30:36Speaker 2: ha ha. But I'm like, I don't know, I don't
- 30:40Speaker 2: know if she's saying, if what she's saying is true
- 30:43Speaker 2: that this conversation was amiable and she was just informing
- 30:46Speaker 2: Cody of this. Maybe it did piss Cody off. Maybe
- 30:50Speaker 2: Cody was like, oh, fuck, Janelle, bitch, I want this
- 30:53Speaker 2: fucking McMansion, I want the heated driveway. I want this fancy,
- 30:57Speaker 2: beautiful life with my favorite wife, Robin. So I'm going
- 31:00Speaker 2: to go to Janelle and blame it on Robin. Like
- 31:04Speaker 2: people have talked about how Cody loves triangulation and loves
- 31:08Speaker 2: doing all of this with everybody. So I could see
- 31:10Speaker 2: a world where maybe that conversation wasn't necessarily bad, but
- 31:15Speaker 2: I could also see Robin spinning it to Cody.
- 31:17Speaker 1: I one hundred percent think she spun it. I think
- 31:20Speaker 1: in the moment with Janelle, who I think intimidates Robin. Honestly,
- 31:25Speaker 1: I think she was like, oh no, absolutely, I don't
- 31:27Speaker 1: want to drain the resources of the family. I would
- 31:29Speaker 1: never do that, and then goes back to Cody and
- 31:32Speaker 1: she's like, yeah, Janelle confronted me and she has a
- 31:35Speaker 1: real problem with us buying this house. But I thought
- 31:37Speaker 1: that she wanted to buy me a house with enough
- 31:38Speaker 1: bedrooms for all of our kids. I thought that was
- 31:41Speaker 1: the plan, because if you recall at the time that
- 31:43Speaker 1: she was purchasing the home. She was on a campaign
- 31:46Speaker 1: for the viewers to believe that she didn't want it.
- 31:48Speaker 1: She would prefer to rent. I want to rent. I
- 31:50Speaker 1: don't want to tie up all of the family's money
- 31:53Speaker 1: and this one million dollar home. I would never want that.
- 31:57Speaker 1: We saw through it then and I see through it now.
- 32:00Speaker 1: I absolutely think that Robin threw Janelle under the bus,
- 32:03Speaker 1: which got Cody agitated. He went back to Janelle, and
- 32:06Speaker 1: now Janelle's like, Okay, I can't trust you as a
- 32:09Speaker 1: sister wife. No, Like, you're not actually here for the family,
- 32:12Speaker 1: You're here for yourself.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Yep. This is where Janelle calls Robin Cody's sacred cow.
- 32:18Speaker 2: And Cody gets triggered by this. He's like, no, no, no,
- 32:21Speaker 2: we're not going to talk about this, Like he doesn't
- 32:23Speaker 2: even want to bring it up. This just proves Janelle's
- 32:26Speaker 2: point of like, we can't fucking talk to you about anything,
- 32:28Speaker 2: especially Robin, because you will shut it down. So fuck off, dude,
- 32:33Speaker 2: with your self centered bullshit.
- 32:34Speaker 1: Well, it's interesting because he wants to talk about the
- 32:37Speaker 1: potential to reconcile in this conversation, and so then Janelle
- 32:41Speaker 1: kind of shifts because again she came in talking about property,
- 32:44Speaker 1: and she starts talking about the issues that are the
- 32:47Speaker 1: most important in Jermaine, I e. Robin, and how I
- 32:50Speaker 1: can't talk to you about it because there are sacred cows.
- 32:53Speaker 1: And on the couch, She's like, I mean, how do
- 32:55Speaker 1: I exist in a polygamist relationship with this man when
- 32:59Speaker 1: he wore he literally worships this woman. There's no space
- 33:03Speaker 1: for me. It's not equal for my kids. And so
- 33:05Speaker 1: she's actually trying to have the conversation with him, yeah,
- 33:08Speaker 1: and he's fundamentally unable to do it. And so then
- 33:11Speaker 1: she's like, Okay, well then let's not talk about it. Yeah,
- 33:13Speaker 1: let's not even try to have the reconciliation conversation because
- 33:16Speaker 1: if you can't hear me talk about my emotions and
- 33:19Speaker 1: my feelings, then there's nowhere to go. And then he's like,
- 33:22Speaker 1: I'm willing to listen to your emotions and your feelings.
- 33:24Speaker 1: There are no sacred cows. What was she just tried
- 33:28Speaker 1: to talk it just one minute previously, she was trying
- 33:32Speaker 1: to talk to you about her emotions and feelings around Robin.
- 33:34Speaker 1: But because it's around Robin, and because it is indefensible,
- 33:38Speaker 1: you cannot defend this behavior. You don't want to talk
- 33:41Speaker 1: about it.
- 33:42Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it's super turbo manipulative. It's so fucking frustrating.
- 33:46Speaker 2: And I think he even says something like no, everything
- 33:49Speaker 2: was equal, Like, no, we had like a balance, it
- 33:53Speaker 2: was fine, Like there was no inequity here with anybody,
- 33:56Speaker 2: with any of the wives, And Janelle's.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Like, okay, yeah, like I'm not going to waste it.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Literally telling you how I didn't feel important enough to you,
- 34:05Speaker 2: and you're saying, no, no, it's equal, okay, do lu Ulu.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Well, he seemed to concede that it wasn't equal during COVID,
- 34:12Speaker 1: and he seemed to try and blame the kids being
- 34:17Speaker 1: upset with him and thinking he's evil or something on
- 34:20Speaker 1: COVID and his inability to show up to visit his
- 34:24Speaker 1: children during that time. I think it's like six or
- 34:27Speaker 1: seven or eight months that he did not visit Gabe
- 34:29Speaker 1: and Garrison and Savannah, et cetera. So he's trying to
- 34:32Speaker 1: pin it on behavior that happened in COVID, and again
- 34:35Speaker 1: Janelle's just like, no, my guy, this happened well before that.
- 34:39Speaker 1: The kids have been pissed off at you, and he
- 34:42Speaker 1: just doesn't get it. And this is the whole concept
- 34:45Speaker 1: of pearls before swine, like, stop wasting your precious life energy,
- 34:50Speaker 1: your chi on absolutely dreadful, deplorable people. Stop trying to
- 34:56Speaker 1: reason with somebody who is intentionally misun standing you and
- 35:01Speaker 1: miss characterizing you so that they can gain an advantage. No,
- 35:04Speaker 1: fuck that, Leave Josephine Spistro as she did, and hire
- 35:08Speaker 1: you an attorney.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Oh so good Janelle for this too. I love how
- 35:13Speaker 2: she was just a boss bitch through this whole entire thing.
- 35:15Speaker 2: She's trying to speak up for herself, she's trying to
- 35:18Speaker 2: come back Cody's bullshit. She does pretty well. Yeah, And
- 35:22Speaker 2: I think Cody was a little flustered by it. Honestly.
- 35:24Speaker 2: I think he wasn't expecting her to just be like, no,
- 35:27Speaker 2: we're not going to reconcile. Fuck you, your self centered piece
- 35:30Speaker 2: of shit. Bye, I'm going to get a lawyer. I
- 35:33Speaker 2: don't think he was expecting that. And I love it.
- 35:35Speaker 2: I love to see it.
- 35:36Speaker 1: I love it too. I wanted to ask you, specifically,
- 35:39Speaker 1: Beatrice about the statement that she made to Cody in
- 35:42Speaker 1: which she mentioned like, I mean, I'm sitting with you
- 35:45Speaker 1: now and I can feel it, like there's an energy here,
- 35:48Speaker 1: and I can feel that little hook in me, which
- 35:52Speaker 1: led me to believe as I was watching them, and
- 35:54Speaker 1: even the way that Cody was talking to her and
- 35:57Speaker 1: like the softness on his face, I do think. I
- 36:00Speaker 1: think he's saying he doesn't love her and that she's
- 36:03Speaker 1: out to get him, and that she's betrayed him. Because
- 36:06Speaker 1: by the time he's saying that on the couch in
- 36:08Speaker 1: his interstitial, she's already rejected him. But in this moment,
- 36:12Speaker 1: I think if she was open to the idea of
- 36:14Speaker 1: reconciliation and if she was open to saying I love you,
- 36:18Speaker 1: I think he would have been right there. I actually
- 36:20Speaker 1: think he has great affection for Janelle, and he mentions
- 36:25Speaker 1: trying to start their love affair again, and he's like,
- 36:28Speaker 1: we can't use the property in order to leverage that.
- 36:31Speaker 1: That wouldn't be fair. But like I think he's hearkening
- 36:34Speaker 1: back in his mind. Beneath those curly cues and under
- 36:37Speaker 1: all that baldness, he's thinking about Las Vegas and their
- 36:41Speaker 1: renaissance bitch, when they were having sex day in and
- 36:44Speaker 1: day out, and he was loving all up on Jannail's body,
- 36:47Speaker 1: YadA YadA, and he's like, I could go back there, Janelle,
- 36:50Speaker 1: I could go back there with you? Could you go
- 36:52Speaker 1: back there with me? And her cold dead blue eyes?
- 36:55Speaker 1: And she's like, you're in a different universe. It's a
- 36:58Speaker 1: demonic universe. Ye, you are fucking evil. Absolutely not.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Look, I think two things give me true at once.
- 37:05Speaker 2: I feel like he could be happy with her, and
- 37:08Speaker 2: I feel like he could give her that sweet, sweet
- 37:10Speaker 2: love until the end of his days. But I think
- 37:12Speaker 2: he could only do that because he also gets a
- 37:15Speaker 2: benefit out of it. He gets the finances right, he
- 37:18Speaker 2: wants to reconcile with her purely for that. In my opinion,
- 37:23Speaker 2: I think that there is like a little bit of
- 37:25Speaker 2: a twinge, like I feel like they did have chemistry.
- 37:28Speaker 2: I feel like Janelle was like the one wife that
- 37:30Speaker 2: like left came back to him a couple times, and
- 37:34Speaker 2: I think he admires her for that. I think they
- 37:36Speaker 2: had like a special connection when they were like camping
- 37:39Speaker 2: and going on adventures together and they were holding hands,
- 37:42Speaker 2: like we saw that in Vegas. They have something or
- 37:45Speaker 2: they had something. But I think purely right now, he's like, yeah, no,
- 37:50Speaker 2: I could totally have a love affair with you because
- 37:52Speaker 2: I really need your money. That's what I think.
- 37:55Speaker 1: I don't know, I'd love to hear what y'all think.
- 37:57Speaker 1: I mean, you can write to Beatrice on the Instagram
- 37:59Speaker 1: or you can drop on YouTube. You could leave us
- 38:01Speaker 1: a comment. I just I feel something there, And when
- 38:04Speaker 1: I look at their pictures when they were married and
- 38:06Speaker 1: when they were younger, I don't know, I just feel
- 38:08Speaker 1: like there's some sexual chemistry. And that's I think what
- 38:12Speaker 1: Janella is referencing when she's like, I still feel that tug,
- 38:15Speaker 1: I feel that hook in me. Yeah, and she I
- 38:18Speaker 1: think if he wasn't such a fuck stick to her kids,
- 38:22Speaker 1: if it hadn't become so egregious, because she buried a
- 38:25Speaker 1: lot of that. He has been a fuck stick for
- 38:27Speaker 1: a while, which she tells him literally, But if he
- 38:30Speaker 1: hadn't gotten so egregious with it, she would have been
- 38:33Speaker 1: able to stay with him because she does have that
- 38:36Speaker 1: feeling for him and that he has it for her.
- 38:38Speaker 2: I think for sure you said this last season you
- 38:41Speaker 2: were wondering if Janelle was going to leave him, and
- 38:43Speaker 2: you were like, the only way she'd leave him is
- 38:45Speaker 2: if he fucked around with her kids, and he did
- 38:47Speaker 2: and she let him, so you were right. That's totally
- 38:50Speaker 2: like her end all be all, and she even says
- 38:52Speaker 2: it this episode, She's like, if I have to choose
- 38:54Speaker 2: between you and my kids, I'm gonna choose the kids.
- 38:56Speaker 1: Dude, every single time. Oh, I don't need you all beyond,
- 39:01Speaker 1: And she's like, I'm happy. I'm like living my life,
- 39:04Speaker 1: like I'm would be so hard pressed to even think
- 39:06Speaker 1: about a life where I would have to co mingle
- 39:09Speaker 1: that shit with you living on Coyote Past with all
- 39:12Speaker 1: of those prairie dogs with leprosy and your bumb ass,
- 39:16Speaker 1: bitch ass breakdancing diesel jeans wearing bitch of a wife.
- 39:20Speaker 2: She is for real.
- 39:22Speaker 1: Yes.
- 39:23Speaker 2: She also mentions the possibility of getting a release, yes,
- 39:27Speaker 2: which I was like, talk about.
- 39:28Speaker 1: That because is it me? Did I recall that she
- 39:32Speaker 1: said a few episodes ago, like I don't need that.
- 39:34Speaker 1: I realized Mary is getting a release and Christina's just
- 39:37Speaker 1: moved on, But I just don't think I need to
- 39:39Speaker 1: do that.
- 39:39Speaker 2: She said she felt like she didn't need to r
- 39:41Speaker 2: she still believes in the faith, And so that makes
- 39:45Speaker 2: me wonder if that talking head where she was like,
- 39:47Speaker 2: I don't feel like I need to was filmed after
- 39:50Speaker 2: these scenes, because I could see that because maybe she's like, yeah,
- 39:53Speaker 2: I mean like I believe, but like, also, I just
- 39:54Speaker 2: don't fucking care, like I haven't been a part of
- 39:56Speaker 2: this church for a while, Like it's whatever, I'm I'm gucci,
- 40:00Speaker 2: I'm cool.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Yeah. But she tries to bring it up to Cody.
- 40:03Speaker 1: She's like, you know, I still do have like the
- 40:06Speaker 1: spiritual feelings and convictions around my faith. And He's like, oh,
- 40:10Speaker 1: come on, drop the bullshit, which I thought was so
- 40:12Speaker 1: interesting because I think that really shined a light on
- 40:17Speaker 1: his faith and his walk. At this time, He's just
- 40:20Speaker 1: like over it, thinks it's all bullshit. But Janelle and
- 40:24Speaker 1: Mary are the two lone holdouts who still have that faith.
- 40:28Speaker 1: I'm wondering about Robin because she says all she has.
- 40:31Speaker 2: Is her prayer.
- 40:32Speaker 1: No, she doesn't care, and she's got her faith. But
- 40:34Speaker 1: like we know that her kids now go to and
- 40:36Speaker 1: evangelical Assemblies of God kind of church. I wonder what
- 40:40Speaker 1: Robin is doing and thinking and how she's feeling in
- 40:42Speaker 1: her faith.
- 40:43Speaker 2: Look, I think Robin was kind of the catalyst for
- 40:46Speaker 2: Cody losing his faith. I think everything that he says
- 40:48Speaker 2: about how polygamy is not fair to women or men,
- 40:51Speaker 2: and how you have to marry people not out of
- 40:53Speaker 2: love and blah blah blah. I think all that came
- 40:55Speaker 2: from Robin. I think she planted the seed and he realized,
- 40:58Speaker 2: oh shit, yeah, I don't actually care about any of
- 41:00Speaker 2: these women. I only care about you, and you're break
- 41:02Speaker 2: dancing pussy, So maybe I don't believe in this faith anymore.
- 41:06Speaker 2: So I think that's, you know, Cody's side of things.
- 41:09Speaker 2: But I loved Janelle talking about their faith and the
- 41:11Speaker 2: release and how she's like, yeah, in our culture, Cody's
- 41:14Speaker 2: a total fucking failure.
- 41:16Speaker 1: That was so good. Oh my god. I was trying
- 41:19Speaker 1: to remote few right into Cody Brown's living room or
- 41:23Speaker 1: he's watching this and seeing her say that, because it
- 41:26Speaker 1: is a narcissistic injury and she was laughing. She was laughing,
- 41:29Speaker 1: and it was an ego o because he is a
- 41:32Speaker 1: fucking failure. Yep.
- 41:33Speaker 2: And she does talk about his ego. She's like, he
- 41:35Speaker 2: only wants to reconcile because of his ego.
- 41:37Speaker 1: There's no emotions behind what he's asking for. It's totallyas ego.
- 41:41Speaker 1: And the finances so good, But because he cannot get
- 41:46Speaker 1: what he wants from Janelle, he is not willing to
- 41:49Speaker 1: give her information. He's not willing to help her in
- 41:52Speaker 1: any way. He's gonna take his sweet, fucking, curly cute time.
- 41:56Speaker 1: And again that's when we have Janelle saying, Okay, well,
- 41:59Speaker 1: you know, we can talk to the attorney whever. But
- 42:01Speaker 1: then to the camera, she's like, I gotta get a lawyer. Yes,
- 42:03Speaker 1: I think she probably did get a lawyer. I think
- 42:05Speaker 1: that's the only reason she's meeting with Mary in next
- 42:08Speaker 1: week's episode is to talk about maybe teaming up to
- 42:11Speaker 1: go after him for finance. Yes, I don't know. I
- 42:14Speaker 1: would love to.
- 42:16Speaker 2: I love it so much.
- 42:18Speaker 1: I would love that so very much. But I think
- 42:22Speaker 1: she probably did get a lawyer, because she's talking about
- 42:24Speaker 1: it here, and I think that they may be settled.
- 42:27Speaker 1: And I think the rumor that he gave her one
- 42:29Speaker 1: hundred and thirty one hundred and forty thousand dollars out
- 42:32Speaker 1: of had to take a heelock loan in order to
- 42:34Speaker 1: do that, I think it's probably true.
- 42:37Speaker 2: I love it.
- 42:38Speaker 1: And then of course Nikki Avristock's saying that some realtor
- 42:42Speaker 1: reached out to her and said that there are multiple
- 42:45Speaker 1: loans taken against the mcmanson So even though they're selling
- 42:48Speaker 1: it for more than they even listed it for that
- 42:51Speaker 1: shit was leveraged to the helt YEP.
- 42:54Speaker 2: I love to see it. I hope they go fucking yeah.
- 42:57Speaker 2: So yeah. Next week's episode, we have Mary and Janelle
- 43:00Speaker 2: talking about Janelle's marriage ending, which is interesting. I love
- 43:03Speaker 2: to see it. We have Christine introducing David to Janelle's
- 43:09Speaker 2: kids and Janelle's kind of like, yeah, it's a little fast,
- 43:11Speaker 2: it's a little weird, but good for you, Chris Dade,
- 43:14Speaker 2: I guess. And then Cody meeting David at Gwendolen's engage. Remember,
- 43:22Speaker 2: I can't wait. I'm sure Cody's got something to say
- 43:24Speaker 2: about David and his baldhead.
- 43:26Speaker 1: We'll see, we'll see. I bet he'll be I bet
- 43:29Speaker 1: it'll be all right, and everybody will be mature and
- 43:32Speaker 1: conduct themselves accordingly. I have now. I do want to
- 43:36Speaker 1: say that last week and this week, I think we
- 43:40Speaker 1: got six or seven people who called in on the
- 43:44Speaker 1: Speak Pie many to sound off and give us their
- 43:47Speaker 1: opinions on Cody Brown on the show, on what's going
- 43:50Speaker 1: on with Christine and that open mouth Gussie, but it
- 43:54Speaker 1: was too many to actually cover in this episode. We're
- 43:56Speaker 1: doing it an entirely second, a separate second episode will probably
- 44:01Speaker 1: drop it within a day something like that, so after
- 44:04Speaker 1: this episode, but it's coming up this week, so make
- 44:08Speaker 1: sure that you check that out. Because of course, the
- 44:10Speaker 1: raccoons that exist in the stumpster are not only the
- 44:13Speaker 1: most beautiful and corpulent raccoons, but they're the smartest reccoron
- 44:18Speaker 1: the smartest. They got shit to say, and so we're
- 44:21Speaker 1: gonna listen to them and we're gonna talk about it.
- 44:23Speaker 1: So make sure you look for that additional podcast episode
- 44:26Speaker 1: or video. And Beatrice, is there anything else that we
- 44:30Speaker 1: need to say to these beautiful raccoons before we get
- 44:32Speaker 1: up on out of air?
- 44:34Speaker 2: What if you love our podcast? I sure? Oh, and
- 44:37Speaker 2: bleed to the Mormon God on Coola that you go
- 44:40Speaker 2: to your favorite podcast platform and leave us a glowing
- 44:43Speaker 2: five star review. Really helps to scroll the pod so
- 44:46Speaker 2: we can get fatter up in here.
- 44:48Speaker 1: Oh my god, we do need to get fatter. I'm
- 44:50Speaker 1: super skinny.
- 44:51Speaker 2: You're wasting.
- 44:52Speaker 1: I know somebody should call nine one one fifty. We're
- 44:59Speaker 1: gonna say fifty one fifty. We will be back later
- 45:05Speaker 1: this week to talk about your birding questions, and we'll
- 45:08Speaker 1: be back next week to talk to sister wives and
- 45:10Speaker 1: tell them please, do not forget that we have nothing
- 45:13Speaker 1: but love for you and Pea and my fat us
