- 0:00Speaker 1: Auburn, Florida is, it's intriguing for different ways, but this
- 0:05Speaker 1: is a hell of an intriguing game. When you think about,
- 0:07Speaker 1: when you think about the quarterback and the coach that
- 0:10Speaker 1: had a group of five program beat this team last
- 0:12Speaker 1: year in the swamp. When you think about John Summerall
- 0:15Speaker 1: looked like he was heading to Auburn, spurns them to
- 0:18Speaker 1: go to Florida. You think about Alex Golish coming in
- 0:20Speaker 1: and wanting to prove that he is not just a
- 0:22Speaker 1: backup option, that he was the better option. And that's
- 0:24Speaker 1: what our Auburn should have been focused. Anyway, some are
- 0:27Speaker 1: all in goalish, know each other. There's that off field, Auburn, Florida,
- 0:30Speaker 1: a really good rivalry from history that doesn't get played
- 0:34Speaker 1: often enough. Hopefully we'll now with the nine game sec rotation,
- 0:38Speaker 1: their fans have been going at it all week, really
- 0:40Speaker 1: for the last two or three weeks on Twitter. Um,
- 0:44Speaker 1: This is a game that's going to be a ton
- 0:45Speaker 1: of fun. It doesn't quite get the notoriety that LSU
- 0:49Speaker 1: Ole Miss does for very obvious reasons. This game is
- 0:53Speaker 1: not going to be detrimental to either tenure, but I'll
- 0:56Speaker 1: tell you what, it is going to give one of
- 0:57Speaker 1: these two coaches and programs a massive boost for this
- 1:00Speaker 1: year because then you start to evaluate and look at
- 1:03Speaker 1: their schedule a little bit differently, both win and loss.
- 1:05Speaker 1: If you win, you're starting to think, okay, well, maybe
- 1:07Speaker 1: we can beat this team, this team, this team. If
- 1:09Speaker 1: you lose, I think you're starting to look at some
- 1:10Speaker 1: of the tougher teams on your schedule and say, and
- 1:13Speaker 1: Those are going to be tough. Presented by PrizePix, of course,
- 1:15Speaker 1: we'll stay in the SEC with Cole. What's the difference
- 1:18Speaker 1: in this one, Cole?
- 1:19Speaker 2: What are we going to get from Byron Brown the
- 1:22Speaker 2: second time around against Power 14? I think it's a
- 1:24Speaker 2: really important factor because Byron Brown looked awful passing the
- 1:27Speaker 2: football against Baylor. Now, Baylor does have a defensive-minded coach
- 1:30Speaker 2: in Dave Aranda, but everything I'm about to say is
- 1:33Speaker 2: going to be basically counteracted to what I say about
- 1:35Speaker 2: John Summerall, defensive-minded coach going up for Florida. So how
- 1:38Speaker 2: do you perform in a more consistent balance that allows
- 1:41Speaker 2: you to be able to keep drives alive? That may
- 1:44Speaker 2: be running the football. I mean, honestly, if you want
- 1:46Speaker 2: to take a book out of the Buster Faulkner offense
- 1:49Speaker 2: of Haynes King running it 25 times a game, that
- 1:52Speaker 2: may be the way that you got to win. I mean, like,
- 1:54Speaker 2: let's be real. Byron Brown is a phenomenal athlete that
- 1:57Speaker 2: is the only returning player in college football this year
- 2:00Speaker 2: with 3,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards. He may
- 2:04Speaker 2: have to go up against this Florida front seven and
- 2:06Speaker 2: just pick up yards as much as possible inside of
- 2:09Speaker 2: Jordan Hare that forces you to live in second-to-manageable situations.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Because if you ask him to throw the football, at
- 2:16Speaker 2: this point, even though I think there are some questions
- 2:18Speaker 2: when it comes to Florida's secondary, not a lot, but
- 2:20Speaker 2: still some, you are now asking a guy who has
- 2:23Speaker 2: had problems with finding consistency passing to win with his arm.
- 2:28Speaker 2: That's not a recipe for success, I think, for Auburn whatsoever.
- 2:31Speaker 2: What are we going to see from this Auburn offensive line?
- 2:33Speaker 2: The last time the right side of the line was
- 2:35Speaker 2: bullied by Baylor. And surprisingly, I have been pleasantly optimistic
- 2:41Speaker 2: with how the front seven of Florida has looked through
- 2:43Speaker 2: their first two games. Credit, Florida and Campbell, you know,
- 2:46Speaker 2: basically the guys who have a humpback and, you know,
- 2:50Speaker 2: a team that is... Blank if it's for a boss.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Anyway, that's not the point here.
- 2:54Speaker 2: And by the way, I think Florida Atlantic is actually
- 2:55Speaker 2: not that bad of a team in the American, but
- 2:56Speaker 2: that's not the point. The point is that it's Auburn,
- 2:58Speaker 2: and it's a road environment. What does this offensive line
- 3:01Speaker 2: look like going up against a defense that has kind
- 3:03Speaker 2: of at least started to find an identity of winning
- 3:07Speaker 2: one-on-one battles in pass rushing sets and run blocking sets?
- 3:11Speaker 2: The thing that I look for in Auburn's defense, how
- 3:14Speaker 2: do you slow down Jaden Baugh? I mean, let's be real.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Jaden Baugh right now is averaging 10.6 yards a play
- 3:20Speaker 2: and 148 yards per game. That was against inferior competition.
- 3:25Speaker 2: DJ Durkin's defense is a top 25 run defense in
- 3:28Speaker 2: college football year in and year out. But if they
- 3:30Speaker 2: don't stop him, at what point do you start to say,
- 3:33Speaker 2: this is the best running back in college football, and
- 3:36Speaker 2: we just got a game plan of how do we
- 3:37Speaker 2: make him get his yards but take away everything else
- 3:40Speaker 2: in the offense? So you got to be able to,
- 3:42Speaker 2: I think, force Aaron Filo to beat you. And the
- 3:45Speaker 2: reason I said that Aaron Filo has to beat you
- 3:47Speaker 2: is because of as much as we like what we
- 3:49Speaker 2: have seen so far from Aaron Filo in a small
- 3:52Speaker 2: sample size, working with Buster Faulkner, Buster Faulkner and him
- 3:56Speaker 2: are making their first true road SEC start. He is
- 3:59Speaker 2: making his first road start in college football in an
- 4:03Speaker 2: environment that I personally believe, and you guys can fight
- 4:06Speaker 2: back on this all you want, but I believe it
- 4:08Speaker 2: is the third most intimidating atmosphere at night in college football.
- 4:11Speaker 2: That's how much I respect the atmosphere of Jordan-Hare Stadium.
- 4:14Speaker 2: The ravenous pitch that you will hear from that fan
- 4:17Speaker 2: base cascading through the field on third down place. How
- 4:21Speaker 2: do you force him to be erratic? especially on passing
- 4:25Speaker 2: sets that can get the ball into a hand of
- 4:27Speaker 2: a linebacker, into a secondary member, and give short field
- 4:29Speaker 2: position for an Auburn offense. Those are the mental details
- 4:33Speaker 2: I'm looking for. I think that you're going to need
- 4:35Speaker 2: to have one explosive play by both teams in the
- 4:37Speaker 2: passing attack. I'm looking at Bernal Brown potentially going off
- 4:40Speaker 2: and setting up a really good punt return that can
- 4:42Speaker 2: give you a short field position. I want to see...
- 4:45Speaker 2: See what you can get from Dallas Wilson in this game.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Dallas Wilson, I believe, is the most talented player on
- 4:49Speaker 2: the field in terms of just playmaking standpoint on either side.
- 4:53Speaker 2: What can you do when you get into space, turning
- 4:55Speaker 2: a 15-yard slant pattern into a 30-yard game? And then
- 4:59Speaker 2: on the flip side, I need to be able to
- 5:00Speaker 2: see somebody be that security blanket for Byron Brown. You
- 5:03Speaker 2: may end up having a couple of just really good
- 5:05Speaker 2: dink and dunk plays that puts you inside the red
- 5:07Speaker 2: zone of where you can trust what you got with
- 5:08Speaker 2: the running back room of Cobb and Madsen. and Bryson Washington,
- 5:15Speaker 2: but I got to know that there is somebody that
- 5:16Speaker 2: is going to be able to move the sticks and
- 5:18Speaker 2: really put kind of a damper on this passing attack.
- 5:21Speaker 2: I mean, this pass defense that Florida has and has
- 5:23Speaker 2: looked really promising so far to begin the year.
- 5:27Speaker 1: I saw and want to get your take on this call,
- 5:29Speaker 1: not to ignore you here in the segment, Tom, but
- 5:32Speaker 1: we'll come to you after this, after Cole follows up
- 5:35Speaker 1: on it. Brad White's Kentucky defenses, when they have seen tempo,
- 5:40Speaker 1: Against Tennessee specifically, it has not been great. No. And
- 5:44Speaker 1: I don't think that Auburn has the horses that Tennessee
- 5:50Speaker 1: has had offensively. So I do think you have to
- 5:52Speaker 1: account for that. But is that your worry for Florida
- 5:56Speaker 1: in this game? Is that if that tempo that Golish
- 5:59Speaker 1: is going to try and implement here starts to get Florida...
- 6:04Speaker 1: And this Brad white defense that does have athletes, better athletes.
- 6:08Speaker 1: And I think Kentucky had, so it's not a one
- 6:09Speaker 1: for one comparison, but is that kind of your concern
- 6:12Speaker 1: for Florida is that they turn the tempo up and
- 6:14Speaker 1: that defense just doesn't look like we expected to look
- 6:17Speaker 1: because some role has been very adamant that, yeah, we
- 6:20Speaker 1: have held teams like Campbell to not very many points,
- 6:22Speaker 1: but he hasn't seemed super thrilled with his defense to
- 6:25Speaker 1: start the year. Considering the competition. If I'm a Florida fan, that's,
- 6:30Speaker 1: that's what I, if we can limit their tempo, I
- 6:32Speaker 1: think we feel really, really good. If we don't, this
- 6:35Speaker 1: could kind of get sideways.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Yeah. I thought it was interesting to hear how after
- 6:39Speaker 2: the Florida Atlantic game, John Summerall kind of went after
- 6:42Speaker 2: his defense and said that they were out of communication.
- 6:44Speaker 2: They were out of positioning. They didn't look crisp. And
- 6:47Speaker 2: there's a lot of things that we got to clean
- 6:48Speaker 2: on up despite winning by double digits and covering the spread.
- 6:51Speaker 2: I mean like, which also is just like a breath
- 6:54Speaker 2: of fresh air compared to a lot of coaches that
- 6:55Speaker 2: currently reside in college football. What I will say is,
- 6:59Speaker 2: is that that could happen. And it wouldn't shock me
- 7:03Speaker 2: at all to watch as Byron Brown leads a tempo-led
- 7:06Speaker 2: charge down the field and they hang six points up immediately.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Here's my counterpoint to it. Are we sure that this
- 7:13Speaker 2: Auburn offense is in a position right now that is
- 7:17Speaker 2: going to be able to play with tempo consistently for
- 7:19Speaker 2: four quarters? Because that's where I'm at when it comes to,
- 7:22Speaker 2: if you're rushing through your progression, we still don't really
- 7:25Speaker 2: know what this Auburn offense is. We think that it
- 7:27Speaker 2: can be exactly what it was at South Florida, which
- 7:30Speaker 2: is a high potent passing attack that trusts its run game,
- 7:33Speaker 2: that utilizes a good balance of the RPO that allows
- 7:35Speaker 2: you to pass vertically downfield. We think it could be that.
- 7:39Speaker 2: But we also have one data point of it was
- 7:42Speaker 2: a very underwhelming, lackluster performance against Baylor. And the things
- 7:46Speaker 2: that worked, they kind of steered away from until they
- 7:49Speaker 2: were forced to have to utilize that to their advantage.
- 7:51Speaker 2: So do we see it on a consistent basis? I
- 7:54Speaker 2: think that there is a reason to believe that if
- 7:56Speaker 2: Auburn is able to come out, look back, not shoot
- 7:59Speaker 2: themselves in the foot with negative plays, not have themselves
- 8:02Speaker 2: giving up a lot of pressures to the right side
- 8:04Speaker 2: of the offensive line. If you say that, I think
- 8:06Speaker 2: that you would feel very confident that, yes, Auburn will
- 8:09Speaker 2: be able to play with tempo that could put Florida
- 8:10Speaker 2: in a position where they are allowing too many explosives.
- 8:13Speaker 2: They are allowing third downs to continue to transpire. But
- 8:17Speaker 2: I also got to see it happen. That's where I'm
- 8:20Speaker 2: at right now, is that I still have my concerns
- 8:22Speaker 2: that Auburn may have two or three really successful drives.
- 8:25Speaker 2: And then that's counteracted by two really bad drives that
- 8:28Speaker 2: lead to either three and outs or turnovers in short
- 8:30Speaker 2: field position.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Hey, guys, I'll get right back to the show. But first,
- 8:33Speaker 1: I want to tell you about our friends over at

- 8:43Speaker 1: on the College Football Addiction main channel, we picked these
- 8:47Speaker 1: picks that you see on the screen. Mensa, Tony, Lacey, Levitt.
- 8:51Speaker 1: And Trinidad, a lot of these can be adjusted. So
- 8:53Speaker 1: we took the more on everything, but some of us
- 8:56Speaker 1: took the more on Trinidad to have one passing touchdown.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Some of us took the more on him to have 1.5
- 9:01Speaker 1: or 3.5. Some of us took the more on Sam
- 9:04Speaker 1: Leavitt at 2.5 passing touchdowns. Kiwan Lacey has a bunch
- 9:07Speaker 1: of different options that we took the more on. You
- 9:09Speaker 1: can take more than 76. You can take more than 69.5.
- 9:13Speaker 1: You can take more than 39.5. If you just want
- 9:15Speaker 1: to try and play it safe. Malachi Tony at 0.5 touchdowns.
- 9:18Speaker 1: I took the more there. You can go all the
- 9:20Speaker 1: way up to 2.5 if you think he goes off
- 9:22Speaker 1: against Wake. Go check out the PrizePix app. Take the
- 9:24Speaker 1: more on everything, but adjust it to where your comfort

- 9:33Speaker 1: Now back to the clip. Tom, thoughts on this one?
- 9:37Speaker 3: I expect low scoring. I was just looking at the
- 9:41Speaker 3: numbers for this one. It's over under 53.5. That feels high.
- 9:45Speaker 3: I look at this game and I think, Both teams
- 9:48Speaker 3: want to run the ball effectively, whether it's with Byron
- 9:51Speaker 3: Brown or whether it's with Jaden Baugh. I think we
- 9:54Speaker 3: know more about Auburn given the opponents that Florida has
- 9:57Speaker 3: faced thus far, but I believe in Jaden. Baugh as
- 10:01Speaker 3: your primary bell cow. For him to get, I don't know,
- 10:05Speaker 3: like 30 touches in this game wouldn't shock me. I
- 10:09Speaker 3: think I like, man, this is another one that's just
- 10:12Speaker 3: a coin flip within the SEC. I think I like
- 10:15Speaker 3: Auburn to just narrowly pull this out, and it might
- 10:18Speaker 3: be something where it kind of feels a little bit
- 10:21Speaker 3: like Texas-Ohio State, like somebody collapses or somebody's dominating for
- 10:25Speaker 3: most of the game and then all of a sudden
- 10:26Speaker 3: just kind of popping up. Weird things happen at Jordan-Hare.
- 10:29Speaker 3: That's the truth of the matter. Florida, I think, is
- 10:32Speaker 3: going to give Auburn everything they can handle. I think
- 10:35Speaker 3: this will be very physical. This is a glimpse into
- 10:38Speaker 3: the future of not only the SEC but college football.
- 10:40Speaker 3: I believe in John Summerall. I believe in Alex Golish.
- 10:43Speaker 3: I think they're going to build really good programs. I
- 10:46Speaker 3: like Florida's talent better, but there's just something about Auburn
- 10:50Speaker 3: getting this game at home. And if they can stay
- 10:53Speaker 3: consistent on offense, if Brown can just not turn the
- 10:56Speaker 3: ball over, like if this looks like Bryce Underwood's stat
- 11:00Speaker 3: line against Oklahoma for Byron Brown, Auburn wins this game,
- 11:05Speaker 3: in my opinion. But again, I could see this one
- 11:07Speaker 3: going either way. I would take a first half under
- 11:09Speaker 3: for sure, because I feel like this is going to
- 11:11Speaker 3: be a lot of running the football.
- 11:13Speaker 1: A lot of.
- 11:13Speaker 3: Defensive play, some punts, field position, that's all going to
- 11:18Speaker 3: add up in this game.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Let me ask you, do you guys think that this
- 11:21Speaker 2: is a window game or a crossroads game for both programs?
- 11:25Speaker 1: I think it's a litmus test game, is how I
- 11:27Speaker 1: would say it. I think it's, both these programs are
- 11:32Speaker 1: in very similar spots. They're both programs that think they
- 11:34Speaker 1: should be performing better over the last 5-10 years than
- 11:37Speaker 1: they have in the SEC. They're both programs that have
- 11:40Speaker 1: very passionate fan bases and a lot of money and
- 11:43Speaker 1: donors and, and they expect to win. They've both been
- 11:46Speaker 1: bad for the last, however many years. And so the
- 11:50Speaker 1: question that will be answered after this game, and it'll
- 11:52Speaker 1: be an overreaction because football's weird and weird things happen. And,
- 11:57Speaker 1: you know, nobody thinks Oklahoma state is a better program
- 11:59Speaker 1: than Oregon just because they upset them. Now we think
- 12:02Speaker 1: Oregon's in trouble. We think, you know, all those things.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Sure.
- 12:05Speaker 1: But there will, the overreaction after this game will be, Oh, see,
- 12:08Speaker 1: Auburn is a better job and Summerall should have gone
- 12:11Speaker 1: there instead. That's not really the case. Or, hey, Summerall
- 12:15Speaker 1: made the right choice by going to Florida and see
- 12:17Speaker 1: he already is winning in week one. But I do
- 12:20Speaker 1: think for this. So I don't think it has a reference.
- 12:22Speaker 1: It's not a referendum on the tenures, like I said,
- 12:24Speaker 1: kind of in the intro to the video. But it
- 12:26Speaker 1: is kind of a referendum on where you are as
- 12:29Speaker 1: a program right now. this is two programs that are
- 12:32Speaker 1: in similar spots, but built very differently. Florida retained a
- 12:36Speaker 1: crap ton of talent and then brought in a few
- 12:38Speaker 1: key pieces, Auburn overhaul. And so there's a big difference
- 12:42Speaker 1: in the way that both programs have gotten here to
- 12:44Speaker 1: this game. And there's a reason that, I mean, there's honestly,
- 12:48Speaker 1: there's a reason that it's a three point spread right now,
- 12:49Speaker 1: because at this point, Vegas doesn't know who's better. They're
- 12:53Speaker 1: saying Florida is slightly better. I think from a talent perspective,
- 12:55Speaker 1: they are. How does the camaraderie, the chemistry of Florida
- 12:59Speaker 1: sticking together a new quarterback for the Gators, a new
- 13:02Speaker 1: offensive coordinator, the idea of an imported team in a
- 13:06Speaker 1: lot of places for Auburn. How does that work? Playing
- 13:08Speaker 1: at home, all those things. I don't think it's a
- 13:11Speaker 1: referendum on the tenures, but I do think it's a, hey,
- 13:14Speaker 1: this is the litmus test of where both programs are
- 13:16Speaker 1: right now. One of them is going to come out ahead,
- 13:18Speaker 1: and you would certainly say, hey, probably whoever wins this
- 13:21Speaker 1: game is in a slightly better spot than the other
- 13:23Speaker 1: person is, but I expect a three- to four-point game.
- 13:26Speaker 1: I think this is a game where you're not making definitive,
- 13:28Speaker 1: definitive statements on, oh, yeah, see, we're the better program
- 13:31Speaker 1: because we squeaked out a win over an also very
- 13:34Speaker 1: talented team.
- 13:35Speaker 2: I think if Florida, though, wins, look at the way
- 13:37Speaker 2: that morale could kind of catapult them into next week
- 13:40Speaker 2: because they take on Ole Miss at home. And if
- 13:42Speaker 2: Ole Miss wins that game, that's an easy letdown spot
- 13:45Speaker 2: to where now you have Florida sitting at 4-0. And
- 13:48Speaker 2: Florida at 4-0 looks a lot different than Florida going
- 13:52Speaker 2: into the month of October at 3-2. I mean, in
- 13:55Speaker 2: the month of November at like 3-3. So, like, again,
- 13:58Speaker 2: Florida's got some damn tough games coming on up. So, like,
- 14:00Speaker 2: if they get this win and then somehow they're able
- 14:02Speaker 2: to pull past an Ole Miss next week, It changes.
- 14:05Speaker 2: And I think for Auburn, it's like their offense is
- 14:09Speaker 2: cohesive in this game and balanced in this game. At
- 14:12Speaker 2: least for the first time since, what, the late days,
- 14:16Speaker 2: first year of Bo Nix, we can say Auburn's offense
- 14:20Speaker 2: is not the problem of why they're actually crapping the
- 14:22Speaker 2: bed every single season. I mean, it's just a.
- 14:24Speaker 3: Win in that standpoint, in my opinion. And to your
- 14:27Speaker 3: question about, you know, is this a crossroads? Like, I
- 14:29Speaker 3: look at this season as.
- 14:32Speaker 3: For both Auburn and Florida as just like, Hey, this
- 14:35Speaker 3: is just the beginning. This is a launching pad of
- 14:37Speaker 3: the future. I look at this as, you know, if
- 14:39Speaker 3: you look back in history, the first time that like
- 14:41Speaker 3: Pat Mahomes and Josh Allen played each other in the
- 14:44Speaker 3: national football league, like they played so many times now
- 14:46Speaker 3: at this point, I think you're going to see that
- 14:48Speaker 3: with Summerall and Golish, hopefully for years to come. Hopefully
- 14:51Speaker 3: these guys are with their respective programs and they build
- 14:54Speaker 3: them in the direction everybody believes they can go in.
- 14:56Speaker 3: I think that's what this is. because I look at
- 14:58Speaker 3: this game and my first thought is like, man, I
- 15:00Speaker 3: wish like the quarterback talent was better, man. I wish
- 15:04Speaker 3: there was more pieces here and there, but this is
- 15:06Speaker 3: just a glimpse of things to come. And I think
- 15:08Speaker 3: as the years go by, you're going to see improvements
- 15:10Speaker 3: to these rosters, improvements to these staffs, and they're only
- 15:13Speaker 3: going to get bigger and bigger. So I'm excited about
- 15:15Speaker 3: this game to your point. Like it's two unranked teams.
- 15:18Speaker 3: I think somebody is going to wind up ranked at
- 15:19Speaker 3: the end of this. And it's a matter of which
- 15:22Speaker 3: team can jump up and bite somebody. We talked about
- 15:25Speaker 3: this in the off season. I think both these teams,
- 15:27Speaker 3: are going to jump up and upset somebody throughout this season,
- 15:31Speaker 3: and this is going to be an indicator of who
- 15:33Speaker 3: and how.
- 15:34Speaker 1: I thought Cole's point to what this could really do
- 15:36Speaker 1: for Florida, not that it can't do great things for
- 15:39Speaker 1: Auburn too, but what this could do for Florida is
- 15:41Speaker 1: you're going to get an Ole Miss team next week
- 15:43Speaker 1: in the swamp who, one, you beat two years ago
- 15:46Speaker 1: and kept them out of the playoff, two, is coming
- 15:49Speaker 1: off of one of the most emotion, you know, actually
- 15:51Speaker 1: let me back up to you beat Texas last week
- 15:54Speaker 1: in the swamp or last year in the swamp. We
- 15:55Speaker 1: know how tough that place is to play three. They're
- 15:58Speaker 1: coming off of a lot of emotion, winter loss on Saturday.
- 16:02Speaker 1: And Florida is the classic letdown spot. No matter what
- 16:05Speaker 1: the heck happens in Oxford on Saturday night. Yep. Like
- 16:08Speaker 1: there is no, I don't know. I mean, Baton Rouge
- 16:11Speaker 1: is tough. Knoxville is tough. Kyle feels tough. I don't
- 16:13Speaker 1: know if there's a worse place to go play. than Gainesville, Florida,
- 16:17Speaker 1: after a very emotional game. Those psychopaths in that town
- 16:21Speaker 1: have sold out 20 straight games, and they've been terrible. Like,
- 16:25Speaker 1: that's not a shot. That's not me being the FSU guy.
- 16:27Speaker 1: I am stunned at that fan base. 20 straight sellouts
- 16:32Speaker 1: with Billy Napier as your head coach and playing the
- 16:34Speaker 1: Campbell Camels. Like, that's impressive. Like, I wish my fan
- 16:38Speaker 1: base did that. Like, trust me, I'm not crapping on
- 16:41Speaker 1: the Florida fans. Like, they're great, and... Sark and the
- 16:45Speaker 1: boys found out last year. So Florida's got Auburn now.
- 16:48Speaker 1: They win this one. They go beat Ole Miss next
- 16:50Speaker 1: week because of Ole Miss. And then they got Missouri.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Florida very well could be 5-0.
- 16:55Speaker 2: 5-0. It's not shocking.
- 16:57Speaker 1: I don't think. Now, by the same token, Florida could
- 17:01Speaker 1: go lose at Auburn. Trinidad could beat them. And they
- 17:05Speaker 1: have a losing record against Missouri since Missouri has been
- 17:07Speaker 1: in the SEC. So yeah, they could be two and three.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Like football is a game of inches and the margins
- 17:12Speaker 1: are razor thin. But I'm telling you, there's a path
- 17:14Speaker 1: to Florida five and O and being a top 15 team.
- 17:18Speaker 1: And it ain't, it ain't that far.
- 17:19Speaker 2: It's not that far.
- 17:20Speaker 1: It's not. So it could do great things for both programs.
- 17:25Speaker 1: It could absolutely catapult Florida into a different stratosphere of
- 17:29Speaker 1: the way that we view them. All right.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Score prediction.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Let's go. I love football, man. I think Florida gets
- 17:36Speaker 1: it done. I'll take 24-17 Gators.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Tom Miriam.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Man.
- 17:44Speaker 3: I'm going like 20-18. We're going weird stuff.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Ugly.
- 17:50Speaker 3: I think there's going to be some special team stuff
- 17:52Speaker 3: at play. DB3, yeah. I think there's going to be
- 17:55Speaker 3: some offensive stuff at play. I think this is going
- 17:58Speaker 3: to be a low-scoring rock fight to a degree. I
- 18:01Speaker 3: think it'll be fun, but this is going to be physical.
- 18:04Speaker 3: But I think Auburn at home... I like 20 to 18.
- 18:08Speaker 2: The voodoo shaman man that is buried underneath Jordan hair
- 18:11Speaker 2: stadium makes his appearance once per year. And since the
- 18:13Speaker 2: iron bowl is not going to be played this season
- 18:16Speaker 2: at Auburn, he can't make his appearance in November. So
- 18:18Speaker 2: maybe this is a game. Uh, what I always look
- 18:20Speaker 2: at at the end of the day is what do
- 18:21Speaker 2: I like as the best player on the football field?
- 18:23Speaker 2: And what coordinators do I like better? Um, I think
- 18:26Speaker 2: Buster Faulkner is the best offensive coordinator in college football.
- 18:29Speaker 2: And I think that he is going to show why
- 18:30Speaker 2: on Saturday, I'm going to go 24, 21 Florida on
- 18:33Speaker 2: the road.
- 18:34Speaker 1: I thought Cole was going to go Auburn there for
- 18:36Speaker 1: just a moment and make the Florida State guy be
- 18:38Speaker 1: the only one to pick the Gators today.
- 18:40Speaker 2: I'm going to play on Shane and Bob winning the
- 18:42Speaker 2: Heisman trophy. I've got to at least hold out.
- 18:44Speaker 1: On that a little longer. You and your Gators, Cole,
- 18:47Speaker 1: every year.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Debt taxes and Gator Cole, that's what we're known as.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Hates 138 teams, but for some reason loves UF.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Hey, but they're no Purdue on the other side.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Those fountain bastards. They don't have the fountains. They have
- 19:00Speaker 1: the power, but not the fountains.
