Today, let's go a step further and learn how to talk to a doctor. Ready? Luna: Definitely. I hope I don't need it, but good to know. Lucas: First phrase: Naumwa. It means 'I am sick' or 'I am in pain.' Listen: Naumwa. Luna: Naumwa. Lucas: Good. Naumwa. Now, if you want to say what hurts, you can add the body part. Remember kichwa from earlier? Naumwa kichwa means 'I have a headache.' Luna: Oh, so Naumwa kichwa. That's useful. Lucas: Exactly. But today, let's focus on fever. Say 'I have a fever' — Naumwa homa. Homa is fever. Naumwa homa. Luna: Naumwa homa. Lucas: Perfect. Now, if you need to find a doctor, you might ask 'Where is the hospital?' Hospitali iko wapi? Hospitali — hospital, iko wapi — where is. Hospitali iko wapi? Luna: Hospitali iko wapi? That's a bit of a mouthful. Lucas: You'll get it. Try again. Luna: Hospitali iko wapi? Lucas: There you go. And finally, 'I need a doctor' — Nahitaji daktari. Nahitaji means I need. Daktari is doctor. Nahitaji daktari. Luna: Nahitaji daktari. Got it. Lucas: Let's do a quick scene. Imagine you're feeling unwell. You go to a clinic. What do you say? Luna: Hmm... Naumwa. Naumwa homa. Lucas: Great. Then they ask where you want to go? You say... Hospitali iko wapi? Luna: Hospitali iko wapi? Lucas: And when you see the doctor: Nahitaji daktari.
