  SPEAKER_04: Well, hey there.
• 0:31
SPEAKER_04: It's another week, another, another bunch of topics.
• 0:36
SPEAKER_04: I'm so relieved to not be doing it solo.
• 0:40
SPEAKER_02: I apologize for last week, folks.
• 0:42
SPEAKER_02: I probably shouldn't, uh, because it was Mother Nature's doing, but last week the storms rolled through here, and I was without power for well normal recording day.
• 0:53
SPEAKER_02: I went to see my son at college.
• 0:55
SPEAKER_02: Uh, and then uh Thursday we were supposed to record and that storm rolled through, and I was without power for about 18 hours.
• 1:02
SPEAKER_02: I was running on generators to keep the refrigerators good.
• 1:06
SPEAKER_02: Uh but uh I I apologize, but uh yeah, I know I I went into panic mode.
• 1:15
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I was.
• 1:16
  SPEAKER_05: I was like, how do I I don't what?
• 1:20
SPEAKER_04: What I didn't even I couldn't even like not call it out.
• 1:24
SPEAKER_04: I was like so like okay, hi, uh it's me.
• 1:29
  SPEAKER_04: What's up?
• 1:31
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I don't like that.
• 1:32
  SPEAKER_04: I don't like that.
• 1:33
SPEAKER_02: It's not an hour by yourself is hard.
• 1:36
  SPEAKER_04: It's really hard.
• 1:37
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and I think back now, I'm like, how the heck did I do that before you?
• 1:41
SPEAKER_04: Like, I I don't even because I don't watch um well, I mean, you know, I I have to watch to the extent if there's any editing that I have to do, of course.
• 1:50
SPEAKER_04: You know, you know that.
• 1:51
SPEAKER_04: Um, but you know, I try I try to like separate my mind from my body when I watch it because otherwise I'll just I'll just can the whole thing because I'll be hyperfuckers like really you went on air with your hair looking like that.
• 2:05
  SPEAKER_04: Really?
• 2:05
SPEAKER_04: Is that the shirt you chose?
• 2:06
SPEAKER_04: Wow, your makeup is whack.
• 2:08
SPEAKER_04: You know what I mean?
• 2:08
SPEAKER_04: I'll pick apart every single aspect, and uh so yeah, it's really difficult.
• 2:13
  SPEAKER_04: So I don't watch anything.
• 2:15
SPEAKER_04: That radio show I told you I did, yeah, I will not.
• 2:18
SPEAKER_04: They sent me like the the file for that.
• 2:20
  SPEAKER_04: I won't listen to that.
• 2:21
SPEAKER_04: That's none of my business.
• 2:24
  SPEAKER_02: I get it.
• 2:25
SPEAKER_02: We are our own worst critic.
• 2:26
  SPEAKER_02: It's uh yeah.
• 2:28
SPEAKER_02: I mean, I every week I pop in, you know, either on Facebook or YouTube or both.
• 2:32
SPEAKER_02: I've got like the TV on one and the phone on the other, and kind of monitoring stuff, but uh it is not easy to sit and listen to yourself, especially when it's a solo show for an entire hour.
• 2:42
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah, it is rough.
• 2:45
SPEAKER_04: But the gang, thank you, the gang's all here, and we are ready to party.
• 2:50
SPEAKER_04: And uh, these are all the topics we got for you guys.
• 2:52
  SPEAKER_04: You ready for them?
• 2:53
  SPEAKER_04: Here they are.
• 2:54
SPEAKER_00: This week we're unpacking it all Trump's new Iran ceasefire framework, deal or just another timeout.
• 3:02
SPEAKER_00: UFC 250 turning the White House lawn into a battlefield, Elon hitting trillionaire status, the heartbreaking B-52 crash, Knicks fans torching NYC after their big win, the heavy fallout from the Carmelo Anthony verdict, and our first World Cup impressions right here on American soil.
• 3:21
SPEAKER_00: Stick with us, we're cutting through the noise with straight talk and a little common sense.
• 3:25
  SPEAKER_00: Let's get into it.
• 3:28
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, straight talk right here.
• 3:30
SPEAKER_04: Straight talk, usually a little silliness from me.
• 3:34
  SPEAKER_04: Uh yeah.
• 3:36
SPEAKER_04: So listen, we got to start right away.
• 3:38
SPEAKER_04: Obviously, I feel like this is just the automatic starter for every show, right?
• 3:43
SPEAKER_02: The uh the latest going on with Iran, but but but but hopefully, and I'm not a hopefully kind of guy, but uh hopefully this is the end of it.
• 3:55
SPEAKER_02: So what has been forwarded and uh relayed to the rest of us through Vice President Vance mostly, he's been kind of the the talking head on this, is there has been an agreement reached that is supposed to be signed on the 19th.
• 4:10
  SPEAKER_02: So what's today?
• 4:10
SPEAKER_02: Today is the 16th, right?
• 4:13
SPEAKER_02: So there's three more days for Iran to do something dumb.
• 4:16
SPEAKER_02: Um, but in principle, they have agreed to this deal.
• 4:20
SPEAKER_02: Uh, and one of the immediate impacts is the Strait of Hormuz uh blockade US blockade was removed and the strait has opened up again.
• 4:27
SPEAKER_02: We're already seeing the impacts on oil prices going down significantly in the first 24 to 48 hours, which is great.
• 4:36
SPEAKER_02: Um, how much of this do you believe?
• 4:39
  SPEAKER_04: Is the question?
• 4:40
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I mean that's the hard part.
• 4:41
SPEAKER_04: You know, I like to consider myself a realist with a whole lot of optimism.
• 4:48
SPEAKER_04: And I I think this is one of those cases where I'm just a realist with a little bit of optimism, you know, I because it's Iran, you know, and and this is like I think you just said it, right?
• 5:02
SPEAKER_04: How how long is it gonna be before they Iran this whole thing?
• 5:06
SPEAKER_04: Um, you know, so I I am hopeful.
• 5:10
SPEAKER_04: I'm just not um confident, yeah.
• 5:15
SPEAKER_02: In the broadest terms, without getting too very specific, because the specifics of the deal haven't actually been released, these have been spoken in concept.
• 5:24
SPEAKER_02: Um, so one of the things that people are overreacting to, well, we'll go through the whole thing, but there's some things that are being manipulated by the media as usual.
• 5:32
SPEAKER_02: But one of the big points is that the nuclear material, the nuclear dust, radioactive dust, is gonna be destroyed by the United States in partnership with the Iranians, is the way it's being phrased.
• 5:44
SPEAKER_02: Now, I think they stand by while our people come in or our agencies come in and they destroy it, and then they say that's all we have.
• 5:53
  SPEAKER_02: Um, so there's that.
• 5:55
SPEAKER_02: Uh, there is a an expectation of no more state-sponsored terror.
• 6:02
SPEAKER_02: There's like no exporting terrorism around the world, no backing Hezbollah or the Houthis or any of the rest of them.
• 6:10
SPEAKER_02: Um there is an expectation that if they abide by that, uh, they also can't interfere with the strait.
• 6:19
  SPEAKER_02: Uh, they can't interfere.
• 6:20
SPEAKER_02: There's no blockade, there's no mining, there's no taxing, uh, none of that stuff.
• 6:26
SPEAKER_02: Uh, but as a result, they benefit financially.
• 6:29
SPEAKER_02: The the sanctions are supposed to be lifted.
• 6:32
SPEAKER_02: Uh, and again, it's all conditional for them abiding by all this.
• 6:35
  SPEAKER_02: So sanctions are lifted.
• 6:37
SPEAKER_02: And then there's this magical, I think is the figure 600 300 billion.
• 6:44
  SPEAKER_06: That's true.
• 6:44
  SPEAKER_02: I think.
• 6:45
  SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
• 6:45
SPEAKER_02: I think it's 300 billion that people are freaking out about because they they it's being spun by the media as taxpayer dollars, but what that's not what it is.
• 6:55
SPEAKER_02: It means with the lifting of sanctions, it's$300 billion in private investment by international businesses in the nation of Iran.
• 7:07
SPEAKER_02: So essentially they're gonna get the idea is to get them westernized, uh, with you know, some modernity, some some companies coming in, probably a lot of construction and all the things.
• 7:18
SPEAKER_02: Um, but it's not$300 billion out of US taxpayer pocket.
• 7:23
SPEAKER_02: At least that's the way it's being explained.
• 7:25
SPEAKER_02: Over time, we'll see the the reality of that.
• 7:28
SPEAKER_02: But um I I just you know I I I have such little faith in them because it is all every time, every time it's gotten to this point.
• 7:40
SPEAKER_02: Every time they do something.
• 7:42
  SPEAKER_02: They do something dumb.
• 7:43
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's who they are.
• 7:45
  SPEAKER_06: Right.
• 7:46
SPEAKER_04: What um what I don't know, enforcement uh mechanisms would you need to see in order to feel confident in in this?
• 7:57
SPEAKER_02: Well, first is obviously the economic stuff goes right back down, right?
• 8:01
SPEAKER_02: That's the first, that's the first thing that happens.
• 8:03
SPEAKER_02: So if there's let's just take a for example, you know, for example, if it's found out that they are sponsoring, funding, moving money towards Hezbollah, a terrorist organization in any way, then immediately the sanctions come back in.
• 8:17
SPEAKER_02: That's the first thing that happens, and then you know, that becomes a little more difficult when you've got Western investment going in there, but that's reality.
• 8:26
SPEAKER_02: So there's some risk involved for those folks.
• 8:28
SPEAKER_02: But that's step one, uh, you know, but they're gonna push the limits, it's part of who they are.
• 8:32
SPEAKER_02: So, you know, I'm sure there's an escalation of economic, there's probably an escalation of there's probably a gradiated escalation of economic, right?
• 8:41
SPEAKER_02: There's probably, you know, hey, the investment dollars stop.
• 8:45
SPEAKER_02: Um, there's probably trade stops, and then oil, you know what I mean?
• 8:50
SPEAKER_02: Like there's probably that, and then we get back into lethal force, which, you know, unfortunately, you know, we keep finding ourselves in with this.
• 8:59
  SPEAKER_02: Right.
• 9:01
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I know this is gonna be a strongly disliked and maybe even hated um thing to say, but I I'm thinking about who we're dealing with here, and part of me just says, you know what, you break it.
• 9:15
SPEAKER_04: I know this is not gonna happen.
• 9:16
SPEAKER_04: I know you can't, this is not what we do.
• 9:19
SPEAKER_04: Um, but these are the people that only understand, you know, violence.
• 9:23
SPEAKER_04: So these negotiations and talks.
• 9:25
SPEAKER_04: So part of me is like, you break this deal, we're gonna obliterate you.
• 9:31
SPEAKER_04: You're you're going to just be wiped off the planet.
• 9:34
SPEAKER_04: Yes, I know that that is not the way that would go.
• 9:37
  SPEAKER_04: This could go.
• 9:38
SPEAKER_04: Um, you know, we actually operate under rules and you know, laws and all of the things, but man oh man, I gotta be honest, I would like for that to be the answer because it's the only thing they understand.
• 9:51
SPEAKER_02: Everybody's gonna come at me in the comments for saying that I mean the reality though is that as this progresses, their life is gonna return to a normalcy of tight.
• 10:02
  SPEAKER_06: Right.
• 10:02
SPEAKER_02: Ayatollah is gonna come out of his bunker, he's not gonna live there forever.
• 10:06
  SPEAKER_06: Right.
• 10:06
SPEAKER_02: Their you know, semblance of government is gonna re-establish itself, it is gonna become more visible, it is gonna become more public.
• 10:13
SPEAKER_02: They're still gonna have to deal with the Iranian people.
• 10:17
SPEAKER_02: And so, you know, it's kind of one of those things sit back and wait.
• 10:21
SPEAKER_02: And, you know, we did this as a tactic dealing with terrorists for 20 years.
• 10:24
  SPEAKER_02: Sure.
• 10:25
SPEAKER_02: You know, you back, you've got a target, you've got a guy that you're tracking, and you back off of him a little bit and you give him a little bit of space, and he sticks his head out, and then you sh, you know, you smack him.
• 10:35
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's what'll end up happening.
• 10:37
SPEAKER_02: So, what you said is actually a very valid threat in the progression of things, because as these folks reestablish themselves, if they're the ones that are responsible, and the Ayatollah is top man on the list, like unless he's planning on living underground in that bunker for the rest of his natural born life, if he's above ground and they violate this stuff and we find out about it, the first person that's gonna get smoked is him.
• 11:00
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, um, and then you know, we'll take we'll take it from there because that's what we did last time, right?
• 11:05
  SPEAKER_02: Um, so I I don't I don't think you know, I I think I I'm skeptical of them in in at every turn.
• 11:13
SPEAKER_02: I think one of the harder things that's not being talked about is where Israel plays in this, because you know, Netanyahu, there's there's been a very there's been an account of a very forward phone call between him and President Trump.
• 11:28
SPEAKER_05: Yes, what do you think of that?
• 11:30
SPEAKER_05: How accurate do you think that is for it to be leaked?
• 11:35
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think it's pretty accurate.
• 11:36
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, um, and I I think it's um, you know, President Trump for everything that's happened has been consistent in both uh both administrations, both of his terms, in that the he doesn't want war, you know, he's not a warmonger.
• 11:53
SPEAKER_02: Um, he sees it as a leverage for power, but he's that's last resort for him.
• 11:58
SPEAKER_02: He doesn't like this stuff.
• 11:59
SPEAKER_02: Um, and so you know, he's at a point where he's the deal maker, and that's who he is, and that's what he gets off.
• 12:06
SPEAKER_02: Like that's his excitement is getting the deal done, right?
• 12:09
SPEAKER_02: Yes, he gets the high fives out of that, uh, where other people get the high fives out of you know, blowing shit apart and like doing those things.
• 12:17
SPEAKER_02: Um, but that's not him.
• 12:19
SPEAKER_02: So when Netanyahu throws a wrench in what he's trying to do, it would be just like if somebody threw a wrench in one of his business deals.
• 12:27
SPEAKER_02: He's not gonna take that lightly, and and I I believe that that phone call was pretty accurate.
• 12:33
SPEAKER_02: Uh, in that, you know, there's some f bombs dropped.
• 12:36
SPEAKER_04: I was gonna say that alone gives it actually more credence than anything else because he is that guy, he is that guy.
• 12:44
SPEAKER_04: Yep, you know, so yeah, when I I read it, my first automatic was like, okay, sure.
• 12:50
SPEAKER_04: And then I was like, Oh, you know what?
• 12:52
SPEAKER_04: There there is probably a lot of accuracy there in that, and and the other thing too is that you know Netanyahu is gonna do what he does.
• 13:02
SPEAKER_02: And listen, his popularity in Israel is not the best, contrary to what a lot of people will believe.
• 13:07
SPEAKER_02: Um, but President Trump is he's looking four months from now, five months from now to November.
• 13:13
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he knows that this can't keep going on, he knows that gas prices can't sit where they are, like he knows that that is death for the midterm election.
• 13:22
SPEAKER_02: So he's trying to get this over with and out of everybody's memory before they go to the polls.
• 13:28
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he can't have an outside influence screwing that up.
• 13:32
SPEAKER_02: So um, I you know, as many people that want to believe that he is beholden to Netanyahu or we're beholden to Israel, you know, all those people that believe that, and okay, fine, that's your thing.
• 13:43
SPEAKER_02: Um, I don't believe that to be true.
• 13:45
SPEAKER_02: I think he President Trump sees everybody as a business partner, and he's cut away from business partners in the past.
• 13:51
SPEAKER_02: And and this is one of those times where you know he'll he'll put Netanyahu in his place, and I think he did.
• 13:56
SPEAKER_02: So we'll see what happens, but they're the wild card in this.
• 13:59
SPEAKER_02: As much as Iran is a wild card, I think they're somewhat predictable.
• 14:02
SPEAKER_02: I think we know what they're capable of, we know what they're likely to do, right?
• 14:06
SPEAKER_02: But you know, the outside influence of Israel is something that you know is a little bit of a wild card, and and President Trump's trying to get Netanyahu under control.
• 14:15
  SPEAKER_02: And I don't I don't know if that's feasible or not.
• 14:18
SPEAKER_02: So we'll see what happens there.
• 14:20
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, we sure will.
• 14:21
  SPEAKER_04: We sure will.
• 14:21
SPEAKER_04: I mean, you know, the consensus, I'm sure, from everyone is basically that we're we're all so sick and tired of the Middle East and everything that they bring to right.
• 14:32
SPEAKER_04: I you I can't imagine why you would be right.
• 14:37
SPEAKER_04: I mean, so sick and tired of having to deal like, can we just have nice things?
• 14:44
SPEAKER_04: Can we just have nice things without people ruining everything, you know?
• 14:51
SPEAKER_04: And I mean, that could be kind of the theme.
• 14:52
SPEAKER_04: If I if I had to give the entire episode uh a title, that actually should be the theme.
• 14:58
SPEAKER_04: I should write it down because I'll forget, but um, yeah, like uh, can we just have nice things, please?
• 15:05
SPEAKER_04: Stop messing everything up with everything that they bring.
• 15:10
SPEAKER_04: But yeah, so we'll see.
• 15:11
SPEAKER_04: Uh, you know, listen, I would love for this to not be a topic next week.
• 15:17
  SPEAKER_04: Wouldn't that be amazing?
• 15:18
SPEAKER_03: That'd be fantastic, you know.
• 15:19
SPEAKER_04: Again, what I say before, I'm a real, I'm an optimistic realist.
• 15:24
  SPEAKER_04: So I don't know.
• 15:28
SPEAKER_04: Um, hey, so uh, you know, kind of the same vein.
• 15:31
SPEAKER_04: I don't know, some same elements in here.
• 15:34
SPEAKER_04: Let's let's talk about the 250th uh Trump birthday party slash Yay USA brawl on the lawn.
• 15:45
SPEAKER_04: Um, listen, I I'm not gonna even try and speak for you.
• 15:49
SPEAKER_04: I actually I have always really liked um UFC.
• 15:54
SPEAKER_04: I I've always liked mixed martial arts watching.
• 15:56
SPEAKER_04: I think um to a degree, I actually I find as I get older I I get more squeamish about um how exceedingly violent, exceedingly violent it could be.
• 16:08
SPEAKER_04: I was a boxing fan, and then when this came up, you know, because I I love the the art of boxing.
• 16:14
SPEAKER_04: I mean, I actually see that as, you know, and so is this.
• 16:17
SPEAKER_04: Um obviously there are people on, you know, from both sides uh did not that did not love this idea, obviously way more on the left, surprise, surprise, uh, that found this to be, you know, an offensive um, you know, everything, just a desecration of the the White House and the presidency and blah blah blah and all this stuff, which is, you know, obviously for all the obvious reasons, hilarious.
• 16:48
SPEAKER_04: Like you're the aren't you the same folks that had topless transgender drag queen people out on your front lawn?
• 16:56
SPEAKER_04: And uh what was that?
• 16:57
SPEAKER_04: The uh wasn't there a um sex act scandal that was recorded in like the Senate um on the Senate floor that they recorded, and you know, also um, I don't know, maybe some white substance found in the West Wing, you know.
• 17:13
SPEAKER_02: So the moral high ground here isn't it's not really it makes it just makes me laugh because it's all that you know, it's Bill Clinton.
• 17:22
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's oh my god, yeah.
• 17:24
SPEAKER_02: Take it back to Kennedy sneaking Marilyn Monroe around in the White House.
• 17:28
SPEAKER_02: Like right, this is you know, people are very positional when it comes to stuff like this, and they find reasons to be upset and angry.
• 17:37
SPEAKER_02: Um, you know, at first it was well, it's costing the taxpayers all this money, and then you know, Dana White comes out and he says, I can never do this again because I'm going broke doing this, because they paid for everything.
• 17:49
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know, UFC paid for all of that stuff.
• 17:52
SPEAKER_02: Now, was there an increase in security?
• 17:54
SPEAKER_02: Sure, but there's an increase in security for every event that they're ever.
• 17:58
SPEAKER_04: Any events right, any event that they would have there would have an increase.
• 18:02
  SPEAKER_02: You know, mostly irrelevant.
• 18:04
SPEAKER_02: Um you know, this is a matter of tastes, this is a matter of, you know, not just do I like the president or not?
• 18:11
  SPEAKER_02: There's people who don't like UFC.
• 18:12
SPEAKER_02: I like UFC, although I did not watch this.
• 18:16
SPEAKER_02: Um, I had other things going on.
• 18:18
  SPEAKER_02: I'm a World Cup guy.
• 18:20
SPEAKER_02: Uh, we'll talk about that later.
• 18:21
SPEAKER_02: But uh, you know, I listen, I I know folks in that realm.
• 18:26
SPEAKER_02: I've met folks like you know, um, I've met the Graf Seas.
• 18:30
SPEAKER_02: I've I've I know I've met Sean Strickland, like I I've met people, there's a lot of overlap between the gun world and the UFC world.
• 18:38
SPEAKER_02: So I I've had touches with those folks, and they're all great people, and I and I do like watching UFC.
• 18:44
SPEAKER_02: Um, and listen, gladiatorial sports are they are what they are, and they have been around forever, and they always will.
• 18:53
SPEAKER_02: The first, you know, running and wrestling was the Olympics.
• 18:56
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 18:57
SPEAKER_02: The days of the Olympics.
• 18:58
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 18:59
  SPEAKER_02: That was it.
• 18:59
SPEAKER_02: Um, so you know, again, people are finding reasons.
• 19:03
SPEAKER_02: The the absurd one I saw was uh, oh well, they had all of that equipment set up on the lawn, and it's all got corporate sponsorships all over it.
• 19:10
SPEAKER_02: So clearly those people are paying, you know, they're buying in, they're bribing the president.
• 19:14
SPEAKER_02: This is all money going to the president.
• 19:16
SPEAKER_02: Um, you know, so there was that, and then there was the um Eric, was it Eric, I think, Trump.
• 19:22
SPEAKER_02: I don't know if you saw it in the hours before.
• 19:25
  SPEAKER_02: I didn't.
• 19:26
SPEAKER_02: Um, so there were uh some text messages that were fabricated, some screenshots about you know, questions about gambling and some other things going on.
• 19:36
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, geez.
• 19:37
SPEAKER_02: Um, and again, it turned out all to be BS, it was all garbage.
• 19:41
SPEAKER_02: Um, but the I think the kicker out of all, and I thought it was awesome.
• 19:45
SPEAKER_02: Listen, I you know, you had motorcycles jumping, and you had all those service members out there and the Marine Corps.
• 19:52
SPEAKER_02: It was so murka that it was it was, it was very America 2026.
• 19:58
SPEAKER_02: Did you expect it to be America 1952?
• 20:01
SPEAKER_02: Maybe they did, but we're not that's not who we are anymore.
• 20:04
SPEAKER_04: No, no, not at all.
• 20:05
SPEAKER_04: And uh oh, I um I do I do have just a small clip of it's always like one of my favorite things to see.
• 20:13
SPEAKER_04: So here we'll play this.
• 20:25
SPEAKER_04: I always cry when I hear nothing.
• 20:27
SPEAKER_02: Blue Angels bring the thunderbirds.
• 20:38
SPEAKER_04: So it's I love famous faith, like a kid in a candy store.
• 20:45
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's that's just that's just beautiful.
• 20:50
SPEAKER_04: If you don't love that, I think there's just something wrong with you, honestly.
• 20:54
SPEAKER_04: You know, I loved it.
• 20:56
SPEAKER_02: Listen, people, you know, we had the whole um whichever fighter it was after he won, who said, you know, Michelle Obama's a man.
• 21:05
SPEAKER_02: Listen, people had a have a problem, you know, everybody's up in arms about that.
• 21:09
SPEAKER_02: Okay, yeah, big he's an athlete who made a political statement.
• 21:13
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, truthfully, if you want to go down to the nuts and bolts of it, that is no different than Colin Kaepernick and Megan Rapino kneeling for the national anthem.
• 21:22
  SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
• 21:23
SPEAKER_02: He made a political statement that he believes in, you know, whether you like it or not, whether you thought it was crass or not.
• 21:29
SPEAKER_02: I I don't care because he's right, right of free speech, he can say whatever he wants.
• 21:34
  SPEAKER_02: He's an athlete, he's not a politician.
• 21:36
SPEAKER_02: And even if he's a politician, he wants to say that that's up to him.
• 21:39
SPEAKER_02: But yeah, you know, the other thing that's coming out, and it's been coming out just today, is this report that a terror plot was foiled.
• 21:47
SPEAKER_02: Yes, yes, and and great for good on the FBI, Kash Patel, and that crew for finding this out and and you know, dismantling this before it happened.
• 21:57
SPEAKER_02: But my understanding is that it was successful.
• 22:00
SPEAKER_02: Supposed to be a something with drones.
• 22:03
SPEAKER_02: So it was a you know, we would call it in terrorism, you know, the the war war fighting terms is a complex attack.
• 22:11
SPEAKER_02: And you know, back when I was deployed, a complex attack would be something it would be like, you know, a car bomb followed by a bunch of attackers with you know guns and suicide vests, and so you got like multi-layers and capabilities.
• 22:26
SPEAKER_02: And so this was supposed to be a drone attack that would scatter the crowd and drive them out, and they would run into sniper fire.
• 22:37
SPEAKER_02: Um, so it was again a very complex plan.
• 22:40
SPEAKER_02: Yeah um that uh the FBI got a hold of.
• 22:44
SPEAKER_02: They arrested five people associated and uh and dismantled the entire thing.
• 22:49
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, um, and good on them.
• 22:50
SPEAKER_02: That's what we paid for.
• 22:52
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, absolutely.
• 22:53
SPEAKER_04: Well, that's you know, that's your job.
• 22:55
SPEAKER_04: Do it, make sure you do it.
• 22:56
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, actually, so I didn't watch any of it either.
• 22:59
SPEAKER_04: Uh just uh, you know, just the clips uh afterwards.
• 23:02
SPEAKER_04: And and honestly, I y'all are gonna think me, I'm such a I'm such a wimp, and I am, and I admit it.
• 23:08
  SPEAKER_04: Um I I'm so I'm so traumatized.
• 23:13
SPEAKER_04: Like I think so many people are um by the Charlie Kirk incident.
• 23:18
SPEAKER_04: And of course, before that, yeah, um, Butler PA.
• 23:23
SPEAKER_04: Um I can't watch any, I don't watch any live events when it comes to this stuff because I just I don't want to see it if it's gonna happen.
• 23:32
  SPEAKER_04: Sure.
• 23:33
  SPEAKER_04: I don't I don't have uh what do they call it?
• 23:35
  SPEAKER_04: FOMO.
• 23:36
SPEAKER_04: I don't have fear of missing out.
• 23:38
SPEAKER_04: Um I just I would rather not.
• 23:41
SPEAKER_04: I just really want to protect my my brain from uh seeing potentially something horrific.
• 23:47
SPEAKER_04: Listen, I even watch, I don't watch scary movies, I don't watch violent shows, I don't watch any of that stuff.
• 23:52
  SPEAKER_04: UFC, I watch that.
• 23:53
SPEAKER_04: That's the extent of the violence that I can I can tolerate.
• 23:57
SPEAKER_04: Uh people might be surprised by that.
• 23:59
SPEAKER_02: But yeah, no, that's um well it's uh seven-second delay.
• 24:04
SPEAKER_02: I mean, that's really, you know, kind of the way that you're talking about living your life is on a seven-second delay, and it's really a shame, but you're not the only person.
• 24:11
SPEAKER_02: There's a lot of people out there who don't watch live events and especially events outside with the president now, right?
• 24:19
SPEAKER_02: Between, like you said, Butler PA and and all these other Charlie Kirk and all these other things that have been going on, um, people won't do it.
• 24:27
SPEAKER_02: And I and I can't say that I blame them, um, you know, because they don't want to see those things, you know.
• 24:33
SPEAKER_02: There's there's horrific things that once you see them, you can't unsee, and if you can avoid seeing them, you should.
• 24:40
SPEAKER_02: So, you know, people like you who live your life that way, I don't I don't blame you for that, you know.
• 24:44
SPEAKER_02: And then you have some selective.
• 24:46
SPEAKER_02: If you remember, because you and I talked about this when the Charlie Kirk thing happened, the because nobody was watching that, right?
• 24:54
SPEAKER_02: Live, except the footage got shot out, like all the cell phone footage was out, and tens of thousands of people opened it not knowing what they were watching.
• 25:05
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and there were a lot of people who were shocked and traumatized by that because they just one, they weren't prepared, and two, like that's not something that they're interested in seeing, and you know, all of a sudden it was on their phone.
• 25:15
  SPEAKER_02: And so, yeah, I I I'm sure you're not alone.
• 25:19
SPEAKER_02: I'm sure there's a lot of people who live like that and didn't watch UFC 250 for that exact reason.
• 25:24
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 25:26
SPEAKER_04: It's a thing, you know, it goes for me personally, you know, it's the those are the the biggest catalysts, but you know, that started kind of long long term with my husband being yeah, law enforcement.
• 25:37
SPEAKER_04: You know, I know I'm not one of those people with the police scanner that watches police shows and you know all this.
• 25:44
SPEAKER_04: I've nope, no, thank you.
• 25:46
  SPEAKER_04: No, thank you.
• 25:47
SPEAKER_04: I I like my stress level to be at a manageable uh place.
• 25:53
SPEAKER_04: I don't need things to kind of just uh in that fear and that anxiety uh unnecessarily.
• 26:02
SPEAKER_04: So yeah, yeah, you gotta, you know, you choose to live your life a certain way, and uh that that for me, that's that.
• 26:08
SPEAKER_04: Um, to each their own.
• 26:10
SPEAKER_04: All of you love to watch it, and that's fantastic.
• 26:13
SPEAKER_02: I think President Trump was business as usual before and after.
• 26:17
SPEAKER_02: So before that, they coordinated a strike that killed a Trenda Agua leader.
• 26:21
SPEAKER_02: Yes, yeah, he just rolled with it, and then at 3 a.m.
• 26:26
  SPEAKER_02: after UFC 250, 3 a.m.
• 26:28
SPEAKER_02: he got onto Air Force One and flew to the G7.
• 26:31
  SPEAKER_04: He's just amazing.
• 26:33
SPEAKER_02: So all these people are like, oh, he's falling asleep, and shut up.
• 26:37
  SPEAKER_04: Give me a break.
• 26:38
SPEAKER_04: That man probably sleeps like two hours at night.
• 26:42
  SPEAKER_02: He has said it.
• 26:42
SPEAKER_02: He he is lucky that he he lives on less than four hours of sleep, yeah, and he can do it.
• 26:48
SPEAKER_02: And yeah, you know, he I know people like that.
• 26:50
SPEAKER_02: I'm sure you probably know people like that, you know.
• 26:53
SPEAKER_02: But it's uh all those people that are complaining about him, you know, dozing off here and there, those people could not live his schedule.
• 27:01
  SPEAKER_02: There's no earthly way.
• 27:03
SPEAKER_06: No, no, so nope, for sure.
• 27:06
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, 3 a.m.
• 27:07
SPEAKER_02: after USC was over with.
• 27:09
SPEAKER_02: He he walked, they they flew him over, he got onto the, you know, got onto the jet and he flew over to G7 and rolled right into the summit.
• 27:16
  SPEAKER_02: It's just incredible.
• 27:17
  SPEAKER_04: I don't I don't even know how.
• 27:19
  SPEAKER_04: I just don't even understand.
• 27:20
SPEAKER_04: The people around him, I think uh my guy Marco Rubio uh talked about he he you know refuted something about uh that he was falling asleep or something.
• 27:28
SPEAKER_04: He's like, that man never sleeps, even on the you know, yeah, what's happening?
• 27:32
SPEAKER_02: Rubio said, even on the jet, like everybody else on the plane's asleep, and the president's up walking around looking for somebody who's awake to talk to, like he's shaking people awake going, hey, you know, hey, hey, want to talk about this?
• 27:45
  SPEAKER_02: Here, listen to this.
• 27:46
SPEAKER_02: The guy's a machine, he is, and he's 80 years old officially.
• 27:49
SPEAKER_02: Happy birthday toficially, happy birthday, sir.
• 27:52
  SPEAKER_02: He's 80, and the guy's got a motor.
• 27:54
SPEAKER_02: I mean, he can go.
• 27:55
  SPEAKER_02: Good for him.
• 27:56
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you can listen, y'all can say whatever you want about him and be right about many things, but slacker is far from one of them, you know, far from it.
• 28:06
  SPEAKER_04: But um, yeah, yeah.
• 28:07
SPEAKER_04: So I don't know, you know what?
• 28:08
SPEAKER_04: I I thought the whole thing was great.
• 28:10
SPEAKER_04: I thought, you know, I mean, here's the here's the thing, guys.
• 28:16
SPEAKER_04: I I don't want to be that guy, but to the best of my knowledge, and you correct me if I'm wrong, there were no riots breaking out, no brawls in the crowd, no, you know, no insane, no gunshots from people getting mad at each other about something.
• 28:35
SPEAKER_04: It was just a massive crowd of people who love America and love Americana, yeah, so much, and just enjoyed the heck out of themselves um at this event.
• 28:50
SPEAKER_04: So can't say the same for some other events that we will actually get to, but not yet.
• 28:56
  SPEAKER_02: Not yet.
• 28:56
  SPEAKER_04: Not yet.
• 28:57
SPEAKER_04: I want to talk about uh I want to talk about Elon Musk.
• 29:01
SPEAKER_04: Um, Elon Musk just crossed into trillionaire territory after SpaceX's massive IPO.
• 29:09
SPEAKER_04: If you love him or question the pace or whatever you think, the guy is reshaping industries faster than most governments move.
• 29:18
SPEAKER_04: So the guy's, I mean, you know, he's just amazing.
• 29:20
SPEAKER_04: His life story is really, really um amazing.
• 29:24
SPEAKER_04: I mean, you're talking about a guy who was, you know, bullied his whole life, uh, abusive, very, very uh negligent, abusive uh father, uh, bullied in school, of course.
• 29:36
SPEAKER_02: Cain is that the dad that everybody says left him all of this jewel money, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
• 29:44
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 29:44
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 29:45
  SPEAKER_02: That's all a lie, folks.
• 29:46
  SPEAKER_02: It's all a lie.
• 29:47
SPEAKER_02: The guy was a piece of garbage.
• 29:49
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, he was an uh a total piece of garbage.
• 29:52
SPEAKER_04: I mean, they they had like really awful um uh just living conditions growing up.
• 29:58
SPEAKER_04: And uh, I think he came to the US with like so I think they said something like$2,000 in a suitcase or something.
• 30:06
SPEAKER_04: Not a lot of money.
• 30:08
SPEAKER_04: And um, within, you know, I don't know how long it was, like a within a decade or so, um uh sold his very first company for like$300 and something million dollars.
• 30:18
SPEAKER_04: And um this is listen, yeah, maybe you don't like that one one person has a trillion dollars.
• 30:27
  SPEAKER_04: I personally don't care.
• 30:28
  SPEAKER_04: I I that doesn't it doesn't even mean anything to me.
• 30:32
SPEAKER_04: Like once you get past multi-millionaire, everything after that is kind of like I mean, it's just rich.
• 30:41
SPEAKER_04: It's just rich, and that's fine because you know what?
• 30:44
SPEAKER_04: He did the things, he he knew how to do the things to amass the money.
• 30:50
  SPEAKER_04: Good on you.
• 30:51
SPEAKER_04: That's the whole point of living in a country that we live in where you anybody, he's a he was a foreigner, he came from another country, he lived the American dream.
• 31:02
SPEAKER_04: He came here from another country for a better life.
• 31:06
SPEAKER_04: He took advantage of all of the things that you can do to have that.
• 31:11
SPEAKER_04: You can't you don't get to be mad.
• 31:13
SPEAKER_04: I mean, you can be mad at whatever you want, but you're stupid.
• 31:16
SPEAKER_04: Sorry, if you're mad about that.
• 31:19
SPEAKER_04: I love capitalism, I love this for him.
• 31:22
SPEAKER_04: You know what I love even more?
• 31:24
SPEAKER_04: I love that I think it was something like 4,000 of his employees, yeah, including janitors and cafeteria workers, yeah.
• 31:33
SPEAKER_02: Became millionaires because SpaceX went public, yes, uh, because of their stock options.
• 31:40
SPEAKER_02: So, yeah, folks, you want trickle down economics, like he made 4,000 millionaires in a day.
• 31:47
SPEAKER_02: In a day the value of the SpaceX stock when it went public.
• 31:52
SPEAKER_04: And there's quite a few uh really nice stories coming out from these employees that are like I was one guy, he's like, Yeah, I came uh came from Mexico, I was gonna take another job.
• 32:02
SPEAKER_04: Uh, I think it was like GM or something he was gonna take a job with, and you know, because Space S wasn't really a big thing, and he was like, Well, this is a sure shot, and then I took a chance on this, and oh, I'm I'm a multimillionaire now, thank you.
• 32:17
SPEAKER_04: You know, I mean, what incredible stories.
• 32:20
SPEAKER_04: Uh just it all of the the garbage that they say about this guy.
• 32:24
SPEAKER_04: And listen, obviously, I don't know him personally, I don't know what he's like in his personal life.
• 32:30
  SPEAKER_04: I don't know if he's a jerk, I don't know if he's a wonderful man.
• 32:33
SPEAKER_04: Don't know, none of my business, really.
• 32:36
SPEAKER_04: Um, is he gonna end up doing bad things?
• 32:39
  SPEAKER_04: Very possibly.
• 32:40
SPEAKER_04: I mean, you know, being that wealthy is a is a big responsibility.
• 32:44
  SPEAKER_04: It's very scary.
• 32:45
SPEAKER_04: And the people with a lot of money tend to get bored pretty quickly.
• 32:49
SPEAKER_04: Geniuses are a little bit scary in their own way.
• 32:52
  SPEAKER_04: Um, I don't know what he's gonna do.
• 32:54
SPEAKER_04: Uh, all I do is is you know, hope that he continues to do a lot of good with what he has.
• 33:00
SPEAKER_04: And um, but it's on it's gonna be on him.
• 33:03
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know, it's it's funny because one, I don't even know if this is true, but it's gotta be close.
• 33:09
SPEAKER_02: And I thought it was hilarious, is that he's actually worth more than Canada.
• 33:12
  SPEAKER_04: Um that's crazy.
• 33:14
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and it may be true.
• 33:16
SPEAKER_02: Um so you've got that, but there's also this push, and there's been a lot of um, there's been a lot of politicians on the socialist communist side who have said we should take his money away from him, that you know, he he the wealth tax he should pay 80%.
• 33:32
SPEAKER_02: Like it's this astronomical, and it's all idiots.
• 33:34
SPEAKER_02: It's people like Gavin Newsom who can't, you know, they're still waiting for the first bit of railroad track to be laid on this rail system that he's promised that's wasted 200 million dollars, you know, whatever it's been, you know, Elizabeth Warren and you know, Bernie Sanders and supposedly someone within the British government said that they would put him in jail and confiscate his money.
• 33:55
  SPEAKER_02: Um try that.
• 33:59
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, go ahead and try.
• 34:00
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 34:01
SPEAKER_02: Um, but you know, the reality is he is capitalism.
• 34:05
SPEAKER_02: You remember when he bought X and everybody's like, that's it, it's gonna ruin him because he paid so much money for it.
• 34:10
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and his value, you know, his his individual value went down, and everybody's like, Oh, you know, if he he's done he knows what he's doing, right?
• 34:20
SPEAKER_02: He knows what he's doing completely.
• 34:22
SPEAKER_02: So, you know, he and he is benefiting the world, yes, right?
• 34:26
SPEAKER_02: Yes, Starlink, which is supported by SpaceX, right?
• 34:31
SPEAKER_02: Like that's how all that operates.
• 34:33
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that the world is connected right now.
• 34:36
SPEAKER_02: The worst parts of the world, the most rudimentary, the most underdeveloped parts of the world are connected.
• 34:41
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, remember that place where they had all of the the their little blue and yellow flag flying in all of their profile pictures?
• 34:49
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, Ukraine, yeah.
• 34:50
SPEAKER_04: He gave them Starlink so that they could have access and communicate with the world, but that doesn't seem to matter to you.
• 34:56
SPEAKER_04: Like you're you're for five-second darling, uh, you know, cause of the moment.
• 35:02
SPEAKER_04: Um, he benefited them tremendously.
• 35:04
SPEAKER_02: And then people want to pick on him personally, and they say, Oh, he's got a bunch of baby mamas and he's got kids all over the place.
• 35:09
SPEAKER_02: This is, you know, people coming from Hollywood, where like having seven wives and seven husbands or you know, multiple, you know, marriages and kids out of wet, whatever.
• 35:19
SPEAKER_02: Like, yeah, that's par for the course, it's normal for them, and yet they still want to go after him as a person, right?
• 35:26
SPEAKER_04: Um, yeah, the the guy, the guy who brings his children with him around the country and brings them up on stage and brings them to meet the present.
• 35:36
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, he's such a garbage dad, right?
• 35:38
  SPEAKER_04: Give me a break.
• 35:39
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah, he's the worst.
• 35:40
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, listen, you're right though.
• 35:42
SPEAKER_02: Like, he could be the next supervillain in a comic book with the amount of money and how smart he is, and like the he could he could be that guy.
• 35:50
SPEAKER_02: Like, what do you think?
• 35:51
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I mean, it could absolutely happen, you know.
• 35:53
  SPEAKER_04: And I I I've lived long enough, right?
• 35:56
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I've lived long enough on this earth to not invest my my heart and emotions on people, you know.
• 36:06
SPEAKER_04: And uh I I certainly have high hopes for uh the things that he will do, and there's certainly things I don't like about him.
• 36:12
SPEAKER_04: I mean, honestly, offhand, I can't think of anything, but I know that there are some things, but who cares?
• 36:18
  SPEAKER_04: Who actually cares?
• 36:20
SPEAKER_04: And if you do care, you gotta go do something fun.
• 36:24
SPEAKER_04: Like you're not having enough joy in your life.
• 36:30
SPEAKER_02: Like, there's there's nothing that he's doing that is degrading or taking away from someone else.
• 36:35
SPEAKER_02: Like he's giving people jobs, he's developing technology, you know, he's he's green, like for crying out loud, he's Tesla, he's like he's all of the things that these people want.
• 36:46
SPEAKER_02: But the fact is that he's extremely wealthy and he's associated with President Trump, and they immediately have to hate him.
• 36:51
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and if he was a Democrat, if he was best friends with President Obama, he'd be the best person on the planet.
• 36:58
SPEAKER_04: And they'd be rolling out red carpets from left and right.
• 37:01
  SPEAKER_03: Sure.
• 37:01
SPEAKER_04: And that, you know, I mean, you kind of just summed it up right there, Clay.
• 37:05
SPEAKER_04: It's because of who he's friendly with, you know, because these are the Tesla buying, you know, crunchy granola people who love or did love all of the things that he was doing until Trump.
• 37:18
SPEAKER_04: I do think about him uh with that because there is, you know, for all his uh brilliance um and everything that he does, um, he does have like this kind of childlike quality to him.
• 37:32
SPEAKER_04: And and I think that is probably partly to do with the being on the spectrum, of course.
• 37:37
SPEAKER_04: Well, not partly, probably entirely to do that.
• 37:39
SPEAKER_04: There is a childlike uh vulnerability to him, or at least that's how he he comes across to me.
• 37:47
SPEAKER_04: And I I do I have thought about him through that whole process when the whole burn all the Teslas thing was going on.
• 37:55
SPEAKER_04: I, you know, I felt I genuinely felt truly sad for him because I I do believe it was to at least some degree like really shocking and really hurtful to him.
• 38:07
SPEAKER_04: Like, but why would you know, like, why would you do this?
• 38:10
  SPEAKER_04: Why?
• 38:10
  SPEAKER_04: I don't understand.
• 38:11
SPEAKER_04: Just because I made one affiliation or connection to somebody that you don't like.
• 38:17
SPEAKER_04: Now I'm, you know, I should burn in hell and die and all of these things.
• 38:21
SPEAKER_04: And so yeah, I I really did feel for him for all of that.
• 38:25
SPEAKER_04: So obviously he's rebounded quite fine from it.
• 38:28
SPEAKER_02: I think he's so the reality is it was all performative, it was all theater because when was the last time somebody burned a Tesla dealership?
• 38:35
  SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
• 38:36
SPEAKER_02: Hasn't happened in the last year, right?
• 38:39
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, so you know, that was all a joke anyway.
• 38:43
SPEAKER_02: So yeah, listen, good on him, good for America, good for the world that he's doing what he's doing.
• 38:48
SPEAKER_02: Um, and you know, listen, it was only a matter of time.
• 38:52
SPEAKER_02: Somebody was gonna be the first trillionaire, just happens to be him.
• 38:55
SPEAKER_02: Um, and you know, a lot of it, it's not cash, people.
• 38:59
SPEAKER_02: He doesn't have a fault, he doesn't sleep on a bed of thousand-dollar bills, like right.
• 39:03
SPEAKER_02: This is about assets, you know, assets under his control that he owns or has partial ownership of.
• 39:08
SPEAKER_02: So um, good for him.
• 39:10
SPEAKER_02: That's the way things are supposed to work, truthfully.
• 39:12
  SPEAKER_04: Absolutely.
• 39:13
SPEAKER_04: I think they said, uh, just as a side note, I think uh I've read, I don't think I know I've read this, but that um because of the invention of AI, the creation of AI, that AI alone will have um probably, you know, within the next five years, if not already, created more millionaires um than you know anything else in our so the opportunities for people, if this is your goal in life, to you know, if you aspire to have ungodly amounts of money, um the the resources are literally a a mouse click away on your phone or a tap on uh on your screen or your phone.
• 39:58
SPEAKER_04: I mean, it's all everything that he has done, you could do.
• 40:03
SPEAKER_04: And this is a guy that came here with two thousand dollars in his pocket.
• 40:07
SPEAKER_04: So, you know, no excuses, people, no excuses, no shade.
• 40:11
SPEAKER_04: Everybody just toughen up, do your thing.
• 40:15
SPEAKER_04: Oh, what do we got next?
• 40:16
SPEAKER_04: Oh, I hate to go to this, but we have to.
• 40:18
SPEAKER_04: Uh, let's talk about the um heartbreaking news from California.
• 40:22
SPEAKER_04: B-52 bomber crashed shortly after takeoff from uh Edwards AFB with all eight crew.
• 40:30
SPEAKER_04: It's I have here presumed dead, but I I I think we know, yeah.
• 40:34
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, go ahead, talk about that one, Clay.
• 40:37
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so um, you know, I a B-52 for those that you know don't have a lot of um technical on this.
• 40:46
SPEAKER_02: So B-52, that designation of 52, like that's the year they first started flying was 1952.
• 40:54
SPEAKER_02: Um, it is one of, if not the oldest aircraft in the Air Force inventory.
• 41:00
SPEAKER_02: Um, there has been multiple times where it's like, oh, well, we're gonna retire it, but its replacements have come and gone.
• 41:07
SPEAKER_02: Um, and it has outlasted them because of its reliability, its reach.
• 41:13
SPEAKER_02: Um, you know, it they were dropping bombs in Iraq and Afghanistan.
• 41:17
SPEAKER_02: Like, you know, B-52s continue to fly for a lot of reasons.
• 41:21
  SPEAKER_02: Um, but listen, it's a it's a big, heavy aircraft.
• 41:25
SPEAKER_02: Um, it has eight engines to get it off the ground.
• 41:29
SPEAKER_02: Uh, and and that one at Edwards, and we don't know what the cause of the crash is, but it is an airframe, it's not like a fighter plane, folks, where you know you just pull, punch out, and everybody's got parachutes.
• 41:43
SPEAKER_02: There's an eight-person crew on that thing, and they were in takeoff uh when whatever failed failed, and they weren't getting out, they weren't getting out quick enough.
• 41:55
SPEAKER_02: So um, unfortunately, the loss of not only that B-52, it's not like we have thousands of them.
• 42:00
SPEAKER_02: We have hundreds at most, um, and the air crews same.
• 42:06
  SPEAKER_02: So it's it's a loss uh strategically, it's a loss individually.
• 42:11
SPEAKER_02: We pray for everybody in the air force um who you know was a part of that, supported that unit, supported that organization, those pilots, etc.
• 42:20
  SPEAKER_02: Um, it's a tragic loss.
• 42:22
SPEAKER_02: I think the last B-52 crash was in 1994 in uh what used to be McCord Air Force Base, now it's joint base, Lewis McCord, um outside of Seattle.
• 42:36
SPEAKER_02: Uh and it just so happened.
• 42:38
SPEAKER_02: I was at the Army side of that at Fort Lewis when it when that happened.
• 42:44
  SPEAKER_02: We we heard it.
• 42:45
SPEAKER_02: We heard it, didn't know what it was, but we heard it.
• 42:48
SPEAKER_02: Um, if I if I remember correctly, uh, I think it was '94.
• 42:52
SPEAKER_02: Anyway, so they're a big reliable aircraft.
• 42:55
SPEAKER_02: Um, I've known some folks who've flown them, uh, and uh it's a very small community, but it's a very long, it's got a long history.
• 43:02
SPEAKER_02: So, you know, this colonel that I knew who commanded a B-52 squadron or a wing, right?
• 43:09
SPEAKER_02: He he was talking as a colonel, he had been in the Air Force for you know 30 years, and he was talking to colonels who had retired 20 years before him, who you know had flown these things, and like it's just it's got this super long lifespan.
• 43:25
  SPEAKER_02: So um tragedy.
• 43:27
SPEAKER_02: Uh, we won't know for a while what happened.
• 43:29
SPEAKER_02: Um, but uh yeah, a loss of that aircraft and air crew.
• 43:33
SPEAKER_02: There was also not reported widely, there was a Navy F-18 fighter plane pilot punched out and was recovered, but uh one of those crashed out west just days before that B 52.
• 43:47
  SPEAKER_06: Oh my goodness.
• 43:48
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 43:48
SPEAKER_02: So um it's uh and listen, folks will jump to conclusions.
• 43:52
SPEAKER_02: They'll be like, oh, that's two airplanes in a week.
• 43:54
SPEAKER_02: We clearly have you know, DOD is a mess and nobody's pulling maintenance and blah blah blah blah blah.
• 43:59
SPEAKER_06: No, that's Just things that happen.
• 44:02
SPEAKER_02: And the reality is we're training more than we have been.
• 44:04
  unknown: Right.
• 44:04
SPEAKER_02: And when you train more, you have more accidents and you have more expenses and things like this.
• 44:09
SPEAKER_02: And unfortunately, you have more non-combat fatalities.
• 44:12
SPEAKER_02: It's part of the job.
• 44:13
SPEAKER_02: Um, and I'm not dismissing it, I'm not downplaying it, but that's that's the reality of what's going on.
• 44:18
SPEAKER_02: The more you fly, the more things happen.
• 44:20
  SPEAKER_03: So yeah.
• 44:21
SPEAKER_02: Um, tragedy for the Air Force, and uh, you know, prayers to everybody who uh was involved or is touched by that.
• 44:28
  SPEAKER_06: Yeah, absolutely.
• 44:29
SPEAKER_06: That was a um that was it was a test mission.
• 44:32
SPEAKER_06: It wasn't they were a training mission, yeah.
• 44:34
SPEAKER_02: They I don't I don't think they had any kind of payload on the aircraft.
• 44:37
SPEAKER_02: There was no no weapons on board, no bombs, no nothing.
• 44:40
SPEAKER_02: I think it was just a flight.
• 44:42
SPEAKER_02: That truthfully, thankfully, because that could have been a totally different sure had they been loaded.
• 44:48
SPEAKER_02: Uh yeah, no, um, I think it was a training flight.
• 44:52
  SPEAKER_04: Okay, wow, very sad.
• 44:54
SPEAKER_04: God bless the uh the family and and all all of the loved ones for uh that crew and their families.
• 45:00
  SPEAKER_04: That's just awful, awful.
• 45:02
SPEAKER_04: Uh awful in a different way.
• 45:06
SPEAKER_04: Uh the aftermath of something wonderful, right?
• 45:10
SPEAKER_04: How quickly joy turns to something ugly.
• 45:14
SPEAKER_04: And you know, my goodness, did I mention earlier on something else that we are so sick and tired?
• 45:20
  SPEAKER_04: We are so sick.
• 45:22
SPEAKER_02: We can't have nice things.
• 45:24
SPEAKER_04: We can't have nice things.
• 45:25
SPEAKER_04: This is the perfect example.
• 45:27
SPEAKER_04: So the Knicks end a 53-year drought, they win the title, and what happens?
• 45:34
SPEAKER_04: Well, parts of uh New York City, their celebrations turned into chaos with arrests, uh teen shot and torched buses.
• 45:47
SPEAKER_04: I mean, this is not the first time that this happens every time, right?
• 45:50
SPEAKER_02: That there's a big and it wasn't even the first time in this series.
• 45:54
SPEAKER_02: Like they beat the Spurs, and this there was like every time the Knicks won, a ton of people were out tearing stuff apart.
• 46:03
SPEAKER_02: They were breaking stuff, dancing on cars, lighting stuff on fire, fights, people being arrested.
• 46:08
SPEAKER_02: Like, you know, it the night that they won, you know, I amazing because the police knew the mayor knew, you know, as much of a slough as that guy is, but yeah, they all knew this was coming, which is really sad that we've it's become so predictable that you're gonna have riots and you know, all the violence and all that stuff.
• 46:27
SPEAKER_04: Board up your businesses, right?
• 46:29
SPEAKER_04: You gotta board everything up to protect it.
• 46:31
SPEAKER_02: So the police were on the street, like every cop in NYPD was uh at work that night.
• 46:37
SPEAKER_02: You know, they they alerted everybody, and you know, there were people complaining like, oh, you know, the police are at police state, oh, you know, it's just people having a good time.
• 46:46
SPEAKER_02: No, it's not people having a no, it's not, yeah, right?
• 46:50
SPEAKER_02: It's uh, but you're right, it's become super predictable.
• 46:53
SPEAKER_02: Every Super Bowl, every NBA championship, right?
• 46:58
SPEAKER_02: And the Knicks are gonna have a parade.
• 47:01
SPEAKER_02: Can you imagine a victory parade?
• 47:03
SPEAKER_02: Can you imagine what that's gonna look like?
• 47:04
SPEAKER_04: Oh, it's gonna be insane.
• 47:06
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's gonna be just mayhem and madness, and more arrests, and more violence, and more uh vandalism and destruction of property.
• 47:15
SPEAKER_04: And it's you know, again, why can't we just have nice freaking things for no reason?
• 47:21
SPEAKER_04: This is a you know, this is a a societal excuse thing.
• 47:25
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's an excuse.
• 47:27
SPEAKER_04: Well, that's exactly what it is.
• 47:28
SPEAKER_04: This is a uh societal breakdown to the nth degree of you know people using every a certain uh category of people using um you know every opportunity to incite violence, to riot, to wreak havoc um on people just trying to live their lives, you know, just trying to exist.
• 47:53
SPEAKER_04: And and this is an inner city problem.
• 47:56
SPEAKER_04: You're not seeing this in suburbia, you're not seeing this in small towns and all of this.
• 48:01
SPEAKER_04: This is an inner city issue over and over and over again.
• 48:06
  SPEAKER_04: Why?
• 48:06
SPEAKER_04: Because we have these democratic leaders in there that do absolutely nothing but coddle criminal behavior and punish victims, basically.
• 48:18
SPEAKER_04: And this is a case of that.
• 48:19
SPEAKER_04: You know, these are people spend a lot of money, I'm sure.
• 48:22
SPEAKER_04: I don't know, I don't go to basketball games, but I'm sure, especially for something like that, you're spending a good amount of money, right?
• 48:27
SPEAKER_02: Thousands of dollars per ticket.
• 48:29
SPEAKER_02: Floor seats at Madison Square Garden.
• 48:32
SPEAKER_02: I think I saw were in the$19,000 range for one ticket.
• 48:37
  SPEAKER_04: Insane.
• 48:38
  SPEAKER_04: Insane.
• 48:39
SPEAKER_04: But listen, if you got it and you want it, go ahead and spend it, whatever floats your boat.
• 48:44
SPEAKER_04: Um, but yeah, you know, you wouldn't catch again.
• 48:47
SPEAKER_04: This goes back to the kind of the other conversation about crowds and and all of those things.
• 48:51
SPEAKER_04: And you know, there's just certain situations that I you couldn't you couldn't catch me in, and that would be one of them.
• 48:57
SPEAKER_04: That would be one of them.
• 48:58
SPEAKER_04: Any event like this with a you know massive crowd, um you know, and particularly obviously if it's in any of the cities anywhere, um, it's a hard pass for me.
• 49:08
SPEAKER_04: I'll watch it on TV or I'll watch the highlights or something, and that's that's the extent of it because people ruin everything, and they're not held accountable, you know.
• 49:18
  SPEAKER_02: That's exactly right.
• 49:19
SPEAKER_02: And yeah, and unfortunately, we are getting to the point where the only thing people understand is violence.
• 49:26
SPEAKER_02: We are getting to one of those places.
• 49:28
SPEAKER_02: You and I were talking about this before the show, you know, there's a lot of response on the streets of places like Belfast and Glasgow and Dublin, and like there's a uh you know, a lashing out against migrant violence in those countries.
• 49:44
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and and then we were talking about Iran, you know, they only understand violence.
• 49:48
SPEAKER_02: And unfortunately, these people who are you know burning cars and they're rioting and they're fighting and shooting people and all of these, setting stuff on fire, they are to the point where they only understand violence.
• 50:01
SPEAKER_02: And yeah, but when you bring violence against them, then they turn victim right away, right?
• 50:06
SPEAKER_02: Um, I I truthfully would love would love for the NYPD to be walking through and just randomly shooting people with rubber bullets.
• 50:14
SPEAKER_02: You jump up on a car, whack.
• 50:16
SPEAKER_02: You know, you you climb up on a signpost, whack, and just keep doing it, truthfully.
• 50:22
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, a hundred percent.
• 50:24
  SPEAKER_02: Pay pay with pain.
• 50:26
SPEAKER_02: You want to act like an idiot, pay with pain.
• 50:28
SPEAKER_02: And and that's that's the only way that it's gonna work.
• 50:32
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I want the water cannons with the die.
• 50:34
  SPEAKER_02: I I'm okay with that too.
• 50:35
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like act like a fool, you know, F-A-F-O.
• 50:39
SPEAKER_02: Yep, play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
• 50:42
  SPEAKER_02: That's right.
• 50:43
SPEAKER_02: And and you know, it doesn't even matter.
• 50:46
SPEAKER_02: Like the NFL plays at neutral site, the Super Bowl's at a neutral site, so it's not even at home stadiums, right?
• 50:51
  SPEAKER_02: And it doesn't matter.
• 50:53
SPEAKER_02: Like, you know, pick your team, the you know, the the Eagles win, and Philly Burns.
• 51:00
SPEAKER_02: The game could be in friggin' California, it doesn't matter.
• 51:03
SPEAKER_02: That doesn't matter the next day, people are tearing the place apart.
• 51:07
SPEAKER_02: So that's not it, it's not even a move it out of the city kind of answer because that's irrelevant.
• 51:13
SPEAKER_02: So yeah, I I think uh unfortunately it is a pay with pay with jail or pay with pain, one or the other.
• 51:21
SPEAKER_04: I I say pain, I say pain because I am all about it because I'm not there.
• 51:28
  SPEAKER_04: That's right.
• 51:28
  SPEAKER_04: That's right.
• 51:29
SPEAKER_04: Listen, I I am uh I am a fan of peace through strength.
• 51:34
SPEAKER_04: I am totally good with that.
• 51:37
SPEAKER_04: Now, obviously, I'm not good with an abuse of um strength, uh, you know, authority or anything.
• 51:44
SPEAKER_04: I mean, it should go without saying, but you know, you're gonna get one toolbox in the comments section, be like, oh, so you're advocating for police, you know, brutality.
• 51:53
  SPEAKER_04: Shut up, shut up.
• 51:54
SPEAKER_04: You know, you know what that's gonna earn you?
• 51:56
SPEAKER_04: That's gonna earn you a block and ban because you're too stupid to even get a response.
• 52:00
SPEAKER_04: So if you're gonna, if you're gonna comment it, you're just you're gonna have to go find somewhere else to, you know, some other sandbox to pee in because this isn't isn't the one for you, my friend.
• 52:11
SPEAKER_04: Not the not the place.
• 52:12
SPEAKER_04: But um, yeah, so all of that stuff is just so frustrating.
• 52:16
SPEAKER_04: And and to your point about Belfast and everything and that region, I mean, they're done.
• 52:22
  SPEAKER_04: They're done taking it.
• 52:23
SPEAKER_04: Like they're like, are you are we asked you to do something, like you're not doing your job.
• 52:28
SPEAKER_04: All right, we're gonna do it our way, and they're doing it their way, and then some right.
• 52:33
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and and Belfast is one of those places, folks.
• 52:36
SPEAKER_02: You know, if if you know anything about even modern history, you know, that's the head that is the you know, the centerpiece for everything that was happening between Northern Ireland and Ireland with the IRA and Sinn Fein and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah but that city was the epicenter of all of it.
• 52:51
SPEAKER_02: And they will handle things there.
• 52:53
SPEAKER_02: Like that city has been under the thumb of violence for a hundred years.
• 52:57
SPEAKER_02: And, you know, when you've got a migrant trying to chop the head off of an Irishman, um, the next night they listen, the the folks, the guys from the guys from that city were in the street and they were burning cars and they were, you know, in the migrant neighborhoods sending a message like we're not taking this crap from you.
• 53:15
  SPEAKER_02: Right.
• 53:16
SPEAKER_02: Um, and so, you know, I it should never have to get to the point where the people have to take it into their own hands because the police aren't doing their job.
• 53:25
SPEAKER_02: We should never get there in this country.
• 53:28
SPEAKER_02: But I the day is coming, um, and it's because when when violence happens, when bad things happen, when people commit crimes, we make them the victim.
• 53:39
SPEAKER_02: Um, we blame it on things other than personal responsibility.
• 53:43
SPEAKER_02: And you know, this flows right into our next topic, which is Carmelo Anthony.
• 53:47
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know, the amount of crap that is coming out of this, blaming this on racism, people who don't know the facts of the case, making things up, you know, um, the people who are in the courtroom, which there were no cameras in there, and I'm cool with that.
• 54:03
SPEAKER_02: Good call by the judge, but you know, people who have made the accounts from the courtroom, the people who were on the jury, they know what happened inside that tent.
• 54:11
  SPEAKER_02: Right.
• 54:12
SPEAKER_02: And inside that tent, you know, Carmelo Anthony threatened people, he refused to leave.
• 54:18
SPEAKER_02: He said, Touch me and you'll see what happens.
• 54:20
SPEAKER_02: You know, he he made all of the threats, right?
• 54:22
SPEAKER_04: Right, and then he was asked countless times, too.
• 54:26
SPEAKER_02: And then he went and got a knife and and he stabbed that young man to death.
• 54:30
SPEAKER_02: And and now the blame is being put on the dead kid, right?
• 54:35
  SPEAKER_06: So obscene.
• 54:36
SPEAKER_02: It's not Carmelo Anthony, it's not his crappy upbringing by his parents, it's not right, you know, glorifying violence in in that community, truthfully.
• 54:44
  SPEAKER_02: Right.
• 54:45
SPEAKER_02: It is not any of those things, it's it's nothing, it's it's now it's racism, right?
• 54:50
SPEAKER_02: Right, and that's the card for this particular case.
• 54:53
SPEAKER_02: There's a lot of cards out there, but for this one, it's the racism card.
• 54:56
SPEAKER_02: And it's because we're, you know, when we don't hold people accountable, and this is it translates to New York and all of these other cities where people are acting like idiots.
• 55:05
SPEAKER_02: When people aren't held individually personally accountable for their actions, then it escalates.
• 55:10
SPEAKER_02: And now you've gotten to the point where, you know, the Black Panthers are calling for a race war based on nothing other than misinformation.
• 55:18
  SPEAKER_02: Nothing, right?
• 55:19
SPEAKER_04: Right, and they don't care, and they actually the the people who lead these organizations, BLM, these new Black Panthers, all of these groups, your your race baiters, they all actually do.
• 55:30
SPEAKER_04: Here's the irony, they actually do know the facts because they're not dumb.
• 55:34
SPEAKER_04: No, they're very smart people.
• 55:36
SPEAKER_04: This is how they make their living by stirring uh, you know, the divide and hate and discontent and all of those things.
• 55:44
SPEAKER_04: That's how they keep their job, by keeping the people riled up and violent and not talking to each other and not hearing or listening to each other.
• 55:55
SPEAKER_04: Um, you know, so that's the irony that a lot of these people have no clue about.
• 56:00
SPEAKER_04: They are making money off of your rage, off of your personal injury, because obviously people are getting hurt constantly.
• 56:08
SPEAKER_04: Uh, your prison time, they're not coming to bail you out, you know, none of them are getting bailed out by these dirt bags.
• 56:15
SPEAKER_04: Um, and and they're, you know, they're preying on their their ignorance and their willingness to follow blindly.
• 56:23
SPEAKER_04: And it's, you know, and this is where we're at.
• 56:25
SPEAKER_04: And it's um, and also obviously where we're at, part of the conversation we've been having is that people are done.
• 56:32
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, people are not taken anymore.
• 56:34
SPEAKER_04: And you know, here here's a prime example of kind of like everything that we're talking about.
• 56:39
SPEAKER_04: I think um, when you, you know, like we said, we look at where all these incidents are happening, it's primarily probably like 98% of this is happening in cities, in these big inner cities.
• 56:52
SPEAKER_04: Um, it's not happening in rural Georgia, it's not happening in rural Florida, it's not happening in your farm countries and your uh you know, suburbia, because guess what?
• 57:05
  SPEAKER_04: They've they're gonna fight back.
• 57:07
SPEAKER_04: They're gonna fight back because these people have their own guns, you know, and you come and you try that over here, it's not gonna happen.
• 57:16
  SPEAKER_02: Not gonna happen.
• 57:17
SPEAKER_02: Everybody's getting sick of it.
• 57:19
SPEAKER_02: But I I you know, I'm on so you're on social media a lot, I'm on social media a lot, but you know, my my algorithm now, and I and it's because I started following some of them.
• 57:27
SPEAKER_02: The black conservative movement is my favorite thing in the world right now.
• 57:30
  SPEAKER_04: Oh, they're amazing, they're so good.
• 57:32
SPEAKER_02: At least, you know, Westcott and and other there's there's a handful, there's and it's growing, the numbers are growing, right?
• 57:39
SPEAKER_02: Um and they're sick of it too.
• 57:41
SPEAKER_02: Truthfully, they're sick of how they're being represented, they're sick of being lumped in, they're sick of because them being conservative are getting turned on as well.
• 57:50
SPEAKER_02: And so they're get that's getting old.
• 57:53
SPEAKER_02: So um everybody is getting tired of the garbage and and hopefully it's turning in enough time that this doesn't become widespread violent.
• 58:05
  SPEAKER_06: Right.
• 58:06
  SPEAKER_02: Um, I I would hope that that's it.
• 58:09
SPEAKER_02: I think now it's gonna continue to be, you know, secluded acts within the major metro areas, stuff like the next game or or or whatever.
• 58:18
SPEAKER_02: You know, I know there was a call for violence in the wake of the Carmelo Anthony thing, including the Black Panthers and others, but there hasn't been a response.
• 58:26
SPEAKER_04: Like no, there hasn't been.
• 58:27
SPEAKER_04: They have not had a lot of traction in that.
• 58:30
SPEAKER_04: And I and you know, and I actually think a lot of that is their own fault, you know.
• 58:35
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I I'm sure a lot of the black community and and you know, um white guilt liberal uh suburban women, wives, yeah, yeah, right.
• 58:46
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
• 58:46
SPEAKER_04: Um, I those are all the ones that donated money to the you know Carmelo Anthony fund.
• 58:53
SPEAKER_04: They're the ones that funded their you know half a million dollar home and their you know fancy cars.
• 58:59
SPEAKER_04: And I think I read somewhere that somebody got a nose job on this, and you know, all of those things.
• 59:04
SPEAKER_04: And now Carmelo Anthony is is you know basically crying that he has no money for counsel for his appeal.
• 59:10
  SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
• 59:12
SPEAKER_04: So um, and they're looking at this like, hang on a second, we uh we just donated, I don't I don't remember what the numbers were.
• 59:19
  SPEAKER_04: Thank you.
• 59:20
SPEAKER_04: So we donated all that money for your defense fund.
• 59:23
SPEAKER_04: It's gone, it's gone, and none of it was spent on your attorneys, which he didn't like.
• 59:30
SPEAKER_04: There's a lot of false statements out there, too.
• 59:31
SPEAKER_04: I think I read that you know, everybody was saying that he had a public defender.
• 59:35
SPEAKER_04: He didn't, he he had a hired lawyer.
• 59:37
SPEAKER_02: He well, he did in his defense team.
• 59:40
SPEAKER_02: I think the guy that everybody is associating with the trial, the white guy with the beard, I think that guy was pro bono.
• 59:47
SPEAKER_02: I think he was doing it for free.
• 59:48
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, oh, okay.
• 59:50
SPEAKER_02: I think there were costs associated, and they did spend some money on it, but not six hundred and twenty-five thousand dollars.
• 59:56
SPEAKER_02: Right, no, they bought a new house because you know, in a gated community, which is uh the irony of that, uh, and a range and and and all this stuff.
• 1:00:06
SPEAKER_02: Uh, and and now you're right, he has no money for uh a quote unquote proper defense attorney.
• 1:00:12
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, uh and yeah, and I think enough people know the actual facts of the case that are pretty investigated for fraud, yeah.
• 1:00:20
SPEAKER_02: And that's that's happening right now, is the family's being investigated for fraud.
• 1:00:23
SPEAKER_02: So yeah, um, but again, we can't have nice things, you know.
• 1:00:26
SPEAKER_06: Can't have nice things, but I we can have nice things.
• 1:00:29
SPEAKER_02: Go ahead as we move on to the last topic.
• 1:00:32
  SPEAKER_04: The last go ahead.
• 1:00:33
  SPEAKER_04: In your glory.
• 1:00:35
SPEAKER_02: I am so you know, everybody knows I'm a soccer guy, and yes, I say soccer because I'm an American, right?
• 1:00:41
SPEAKER_02: And if you look up the uh genesis of that word, it's a British word, and all the English people who make fun of us, it's your fault.
• 1:00:47
  SPEAKER_02: Anyway, there you go.
• 1:00:48
SPEAKER_02: Um I'm I'm actually doing on my social medias on on Instagram and on Facebook, I'm doing something called soccer all summer.
• 1:00:55
SPEAKER_02: So I'm doing like three, four posts a day uh talking about uh matches that are going on and some of the things that are going on within the tournament.
• 1:01:02
SPEAKER_02: But one of the the World Cup is here, folks.
• 1:01:05
SPEAKER_02: It's being hosted by us, the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
• 1:01:09
SPEAKER_02: Um, we are six days in.
• 1:01:11
SPEAKER_02: Uh, it has been very exciting.
• 1:01:13
SPEAKER_02: There's been there hasn't been any upsets in the terms of uh lower-ranking team beating a better team, but there's been some ties that were unexpected.
• 1:01:21
SPEAKER_02: Cape Verde, right, who is a nation of 560,000 people, tied Spain, who was the number like the co-favorite to win the tournament, right?
• 1:01:35
SPEAKER_02: So this tiny tiny nation plays Spain and they tie them zero-zero, right?
• 1:01:41
  SPEAKER_02: That's massive.
• 1:01:42
SPEAKER_02: Um, I um Curaçao, uh an island nation of 155,000 people.
• 1:01:50
SPEAKER_02: Now they got beat up by Germany seven to one, but they scored a goal against Germany, right?
• 1:01:55
  SPEAKER_02: That's a huge thing.
• 1:01:57
SPEAKER_02: Um, but I'll tell you the best thing that's coming out of this entire tournament is get on social media and watch the foreign visitors that are coming here to the United States and experiencing America.
• 1:02:09
SPEAKER_05: Oh, I've seen a couple of those.
• 1:02:12
  SPEAKER_05: It's wonderful.
• 1:02:13
SPEAKER_02: They're going to Waffle House, they're finding honeys, they're you know, um, they're amazed at like the re like as many refills as you want on soda, they're trying all the foods, like Texas barbecue, you know, uh the Japan is in Texas, uh, and that they're just they're great.
• 1:02:31
SPEAKER_02: You've got the Tartan Army, the Scots are all in Boston.
• 1:02:35
SPEAKER_02: They they're like a couple of thousand of them went to the Boston Red Sox game the other night to jump.
• 1:02:41
  SPEAKER_02: Wow.
• 1:02:42
SPEAKER_02: Um, and like singing, and the city of Boston is embracing them.
• 1:02:46
SPEAKER_02: Um but what I keep hearing over and over and over again is that they have come here and realized that they've been lied to by the international media, that the United States is not what they expected it to be.
• 1:03:01
SPEAKER_02: People are extremely nice, they are very accommodating.
• 1:03:05
SPEAKER_02: You know, people are polite.
• 1:03:06
SPEAKER_02: Yes, everything is bigger, it's massive, but it's to them, it's amazing, and they're loving it, they're absolutely loving their experience here.
• 1:03:16
SPEAKER_02: Um, and so a lot of them are just blown away by America, and it's a great, a great look for us, but we can also take some examples from them.
• 1:03:27
SPEAKER_02: So in Japan, at major sporting events, people from the West don't know this, right?
• 1:03:33
SPEAKER_02: The Japanese fans clean up the stadium before they leave.
• 1:03:37
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like they walk around with trash bags and they clean up all the trash.
• 1:03:42
SPEAKER_02: They did that at the World Cup Stadium when after Japan got done playing the other day.
• 1:03:47
SPEAKER_02: Literally walked in two bags, everybody had a clear bag and a blue bag, recyclable and trash.
• 1:03:52
SPEAKER_02: And they walked around and they cleaned everything up.
• 1:03:55
SPEAKER_02: By the way, the Japanese national team, if you saw their locker room when they left, was immaculate.
• 1:04:03
SPEAKER_02: The players, the professional players, yeah, cleaned the entire locker.
• 1:04:08
SPEAKER_02: Everything was folded, everything was cleaned up, there wasn't a stitch of trash anywhere, there wasn't athletic tape and all this other stuff.
• 1:04:15
  SPEAKER_02: Immaculate when they left.
• 1:04:16
  SPEAKER_02: That is their culture.
• 1:04:18
SPEAKER_02: Those are the things that we can take away from everybody else.
• 1:04:21
  SPEAKER_04: Absolutely.
• 1:04:21
SPEAKER_04: So you mean to tell me that they don't go to the their Walmart, their version of the Walmart in their pajamas or the airport in their pajamas?
• 1:04:29
SPEAKER_02: No, they actually that another great uh Japanese culture thing uh they're experiencing in Texas.
• 1:04:36
SPEAKER_02: So uh I've heard this, and in fact, somebody wrote an article about it, but they went to a uh Mexican restaurant.
• 1:04:44
SPEAKER_02: I don't know if it was a chain, if it was a chili's or or something like that, but they sat down at the table, and as is the case in all Mexican restaurants, they walked over, they put down the chips and salsa, and the Japanese people said, We we didn't order this.
• 1:04:58
SPEAKER_02: And they said, No, no, no, that's just part of it.
• 1:05:00
SPEAKER_02: And their their phrase that they used was, we haven't done anything to earn this.
• 1:05:06
  SPEAKER_05: Oh free, right?
• 1:05:08
  SPEAKER_05: Talk about perspective.
• 1:05:10
  SPEAKER_02: Oh my goodness, yeah.
• 1:05:11
SPEAKER_02: So no, they don't go to Walmart in their pajamas, right?
• 1:05:14
SPEAKER_02: They they are here, they are loving America, and we truthfully America are putting on a very we're being very good hosts right now.
• 1:05:21
  SPEAKER_06: Uh huh.
• 1:05:22
SPEAKER_02: And I know there's some isolated incidences against the Iranian team in LA and the Iranian fans in LA.
• 1:05:28
  SPEAKER_02: That's LA, folks.
• 1:05:29
  SPEAKER_02: Nobody's perfect.
• 1:05:30
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, um, Los Angeles is gonna Los Angeles, and that's what they've been doing.
• 1:05:34
SPEAKER_02: But overall, it's been a massive success.
• 1:05:38
SPEAKER_02: We still have five more weeks of it, folks.
• 1:05:41
SPEAKER_02: It's not done until the middle of July.
• 1:05:44
SPEAKER_02: Uh, but uh, I'm enjoying it.
• 1:05:46
SPEAKER_02: And again, you can follow me on uh on social media, Instagram, and Facebook.
• 1:05:51
SPEAKER_02: And uh, I'm doing a couple of things.
• 1:05:52
SPEAKER_02: I call it soccer all summer because that's what this is.
• 1:05:55
  SPEAKER_04: Soccer all summer.
• 1:05:57
  SPEAKER_04: I love it.
• 1:05:57
SPEAKER_04: Tell them what's your uh your hands.
• 1:06:00
  SPEAKER_04: handle.
• 1:06:00
SPEAKER_02: So on on Instagram, I'm uh C Novak Author.

SPEAKER_02: And then on Facebook you can find me under Clay Novak.
• 1:06:06
SPEAKER_02: I've got an author page and and it's all getting posted on there.

SPEAKER_02: It's not just about scores and players and those kinds of things.
• 1:06:27
SPEAKER_02: So tune in and uh maybe you'll learn something.
• 1:06:30
  SPEAKER_02: You never know.
• 1:06:31
  SPEAKER_04: How about that?
• 1:06:31
SPEAKER_04: I'm actually intrigued Clay because um you know my husband and I have had this conversation multiple times.
• 1:06:37
SPEAKER_04: You know we used to be big uh football family until you know they kind of the NFL blew up that stuff.
• 1:06:44
SPEAKER_04: You know, I mean it was it was a big thing for many years we watched every Sunday and Monday too of course um but since they became such a disappointment in their politics or bringing politics into everything uh we flat out stopped watching and I haven't watched anything in years and I I just said to him recently that you know I I miss having a sport like I miss having a sport to love and you know and uh I've always I've always liked hockey we used to go to hockey games when I was a kid quite a bit uh my family are tennis players so it's like all right so here are our choices not that we just have to pick one but I'm like hockey tennis soccer all three have have an appeal here so I may I may do some uh some educating on your on your page I can tell you for the next two weeks solid actually probably the next two and a half weeks solid there are going to be four games every day for the next two and a half weeks so this is the time right if you're if you have a heritage I know you're German and I know that you're Cuban right Cuba didn't qualify but Germany did right you want to jump in and watch the Germans right you can watch them um obviously team USA opened up with a 4-1 victory over Paraguay it was probably the best 90 minutes of U.S.
