- 0:05Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:09access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing
- 0:12genuine. Issues.
- 0:13Brought to you by The Hypnotherapist, demanded by
- 0:16celebrities, CEOs and even royalty, Adam Cox.
- 0:20These recordings took place live from Adam's clinic in London's
- 0:24world famous Harley Street. So get yourself comfortable and
- 0:31enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:39Do you have a feeling that you are here on this planet for a
- 0:44reason? That there is something that you
- 0:47are meant to be doing, and maybe you're already doing that, or
- 0:51maybe you have a sense that you know what it is, but you're not
- 0:55quite doing it, at least consistently yet.
- 0:59Adam here. And in this hypnosis session, I
- 1:02was working with a very talented writer who had found themselves
- 1:07in a bit of a rut. Call it writer's block or call
- 1:10it, you know, procrastination or just a lack of belief in their
- 1:15own abilities, but they weren't producing.
- 1:17They certainly weren't being prolific.
- 1:20And this hypnosis session uses levels of disassociation.
- 1:24It uses metaphors like King Midas and the Midas touch of
- 1:30what you reap, you sow, like planting seeds or fruit trees
- 1:33that then bear fruit later, But also harnessing the resources of
- 1:38role models. And I'm very careful in this
- 1:41hypnosis session not to name the role model that this client was
- 1:45thinking of so that each time they listen, they can draw upon
- 1:49the resources of different role models.
- 1:52Because it might be that there is someone that is very
- 1:56creative, but not so disciplined or diligent.
- 1:59Or maybe it's someone that is really almost kind of like able
- 2:04to harness ideas from from nowhere and just magic something
- 2:08up. So it has that versatility,
- 2:11almost like a choose your own adventure book, that each time
- 2:14they listen to the session, they can get a slightly different
- 2:17experience, as can you. It may be writing for this
- 2:21particular client, but it might be something else for you.
- 2:24It might be dancing. It might be creating visual art,
- 2:28it might be producing something, might be poetry.
- 2:32So I would encourage you to think about what's that thing
- 2:37that you know that if you just did it more, that you could
- 2:41impact the world. And what hit me when I was
- 2:45working with this client is that for many years, I had a feeling
- 2:50that hypnotherapy and hypnosis was the thing that I'm here to
- 2:53do. And yet I wasn't doing that.
- 2:56And for about nearly six years, I've almost produced a hypnosis
- 3:03session that I've published out there in the world almost daily
- 3:08for many, many years now. And that's impacted millions of
- 3:12people. And I know because I see the
- 3:14comments, I get the messages, I've end up working with people
- 3:17that have listened to me for months beforehand.
- 3:21And none of that would have happened if I didn't lean into
- 3:24what I thought my purpose was, but more importantly, back that
- 3:28up with action. So for me, it's hypnosis.
- 3:32For this client, it was writing. For you, it might be something
- 3:34else. But wouldn't it be a tragedy if
- 3:38you get to the end of your life and that thing that could have
- 3:42been so impactful and so beneficial for you?
- 3:46You never did that thing. And if you can connect with that
- 3:49idea, I think you're going to get some value from this
- 3:51session. Be aware though, that it was
- 3:54created for an author, a writer, someone that wanted to create,
- 3:58and therefore some of the suggestions aren't going to be
- 4:01necessarily perfect for you. So if you like the idea of
- 4:05working with me directly to tap into your purpose, your plan,
- 4:11your brilliance, your genius, there will be a link in the
- 4:15description where you can schedule that free consultation
- 4:17call. We'll have a chat and maybe we
- 4:19end up working together. For now though, find a quiet,
- 4:23comfortable place where you won't be disturbed.
- 4:26Relax and enjoy the session. Take a deep breath in and as you
- 4:56breathe in, breathe in that feeling of pure relaxation.
- 5:05And as you exhale, feel that wonderful feeling of release, as
- 5:15if any tension, stress, or worries is just leaving your
- 5:22body as you breathe out, breathing in that relaxation and
- 5:33exhaling that tension. I wonder if you can scan your
- 5:40body for any feelings, sensations, anything at all that
- 5:51is not serving you now, and as you exhale, feel that the
- 5:59outward breath is a vehicle to carry those sensations, those
- 6:08feelings, perhaps even thoughts or beliefs.
- 6:15Allow what doesn't serve you to leave you.
- 6:19And then imagine breathing in a sense of motivation, of healing,
- 6:33of purpose. Because you know you're here to
- 6:44do something important, to share, something powerful and
- 6:53pure, and all that's needed is for you to get out of your own
- 7:06way. And as you breathe in and
- 7:11resourceful feeling, just imagine any of those sensations
- 7:17melting away. Imagine them leaving your body
- 7:21as you exhale, each breath taking you deeper and deeper.
- 7:32Relaxed eyelids getting heavier. That's in and as you breathe in
- 7:41and breathe out, feel your body relaxing.
- 7:48And as your body relaxes, your imagination awakens.
- 7:58And I want you to imagine a paradise.
- 8:04Whatever comes to mind when I say the word paradise is exactly
- 8:10where you'll find yourself. Maybe it's a tropical paradise
- 8:17or a situational paradise. Maybe it's nature, maybe it's
- 8:22not. And when you find yourself in
- 8:27that place, know that this is a safe, relaxing place.
- 8:37Just let me know by nodding your head when you're there.
- 8:40That's it. And I want you to imagine the
- 8:49most comfortable chair, but the kind of chair that is
- 8:54comfortable but also productive. The kind of chair where you
- 9:01could sit in for hours and if you were working or writing
- 9:06non-stop, you wouldn't feel uncomfortable.
- 9:10And just imagine that that chair, comfortable and useful is
- 9:19there in that paradise. And as you sit on the chair,
- 9:26feel your body relax. And I want you to imagine there
- 9:32is a laptop on a desk close to that chair.
- 9:38And I want you to imagine you will be a conduit for what is
- 9:49deep within. This is no time for your
- 9:54conscious logical mind. I want you to imagine typing on
- 10:00that keyboard, seeing letters and words appear on a screen,
- 10:08but through you, not by you. I want you to harness that
- 10:14feeling of channelling. You are a conduit for your super
- 10:24conscious mind. Every thought, experience, idea
- 10:29exists within everything you've heard and seen and read.
- 10:36It's all within. And imagine that you're super
- 10:40conscious, has this wonderful ability to draw on all of that
- 10:48experience and knowledge. And just imagine typing in a
- 10:54rhythm in a way where you don't even feel your fingertips on the
- 11:02keyboard. Feel that you're accessing that
- 11:07flow state. And just allow that part of you
- 11:12to continue writing, but allow a different part to leave you as
- 11:20you separate from that version of you typing.
- 11:22And you can see yourself typing and not be doing the typing
- 11:28yourself, and allow that part to continue in that comfortable
- 11:34chair typing and explore this paradise until you find what
- 11:43seems to be a descending marble staircase.
- 11:50And this staircase doesn't even belong in this paradise, and yet
- 11:55it exists there anyway. You could see soil and plants
- 12:04and then the very top of a marble staircase that descends
- 12:11downwards. And consider this a staircase
- 12:18leading you deeper and deeper into the power of your
- 12:25subconscious mind. Turn around and see that other
- 12:30version of you continuing to type in that focused flow state,
- 12:37that prolific way. And when you can imagine being
- 12:43at the top of that marble staircase, just let me know by
- 12:55nodding your head. That's it.
- 13:05And I want you to imagine observing the details of this
- 13:11staircase, because the marble can be bright white or a
- 13:20different colour. The staircase could have a
- 13:26banister or a rail. It could be thin and narrow or
- 13:32broad and sweeping downwards. Maybe it's a grand spiral marble
- 13:41staircase, or maybe just continues downwards in One
- 13:46Direction. And I want you to imagine you
- 13:50are barefooted. You could imagine feeling the
- 13:58coolness of the marble beneath your feet.
- 14:03And very soon I will count downwards from 12:50, and with
- 14:07each descending number you will imagine taking a step down the
- 14:14staircase. And with every step you take
- 14:18down, you feel yourself drifting deeper and deeper inward down
- 14:28from those superficial day-to-day life thoughts into
- 14:35the fertile ground of your creative mind.
- 14:41Let's take those first few steps. 10A profound sense of
- 14:47calm washing over you 9 Your shoulders relax, your breathing
- 14:55deepens 8 Feel yourself drifting into the rhythm of the descent.
- 15:077 each step taking you closer to that inspired place within, 6
- 15:18deeper and deeper still, and five halfway down.
- 15:25Now feel that you are surrounded by silence and possibility. 4
- 15:37just imagine feeling more aligned, connected with
- 15:42yourself. And three, that the paradise
- 15:48surface world is fading far, far away.
- 15:53And two, you're almost there. And one just imagine the very
- 16:03base of that spiral or straightforward marble staircase
- 16:12is a vast open garden, very different from the paradise.
- 16:19Consider this garden, your inner creative world.
- 16:28And I wonder if you could imagine here in this place, it
- 16:35exists in the 4th dimension. So here everything you've ever
- 16:42written and everything you ever will write exists as trees.
- 16:51Some are young and newly planted ideas just beginning to take
- 16:56root, and some are tall and strong full grown works that
- 17:04already bear fruit. And as you look around this
- 17:10garden, it dawns on you that every tree is a fruit tree.
- 17:17Some aren't ready to bear fruit yet.
- 17:21Others are bountiful in the amount of ripe fruit ready for
- 17:29you and anyone else. And I want you to imagine what
- 17:38it would feel like to pick one of those ripe fruits.
- 17:48And the moment you pick it, it immediately turns to gold.
- 17:55Maybe it's an apple, a plum, a pear, or a Peach.
- 18:01And just imagine solid gold, valuable.
- 18:09And I want you to get a feeling, an idea.
- 18:15What if everything you touch, every word, every phrase, every
- 18:20idea becomes illuminated with brilliance, with depth, with
- 18:29resonance? Now we need to get a feeling
- 18:34that when you write, you're not just making something, you're
- 18:40revealing something. You're channelling something
- 18:45through you, not from you. And I want you to imagine a
- 18:54familiar looking laptop here in this garden.
- 18:59Imagine you start to type, and every time you type you start to
- 19:06see seeds accumulate nearby, and you spend your time typing and
- 19:17then spreading those seeds. Because this garden is infinite,
- 19:24you can never run out of ideas, characters, situations, and
- 19:30stories. This is a garden of infinite
- 19:35possibility. Your only scarce resource is
- 19:41time. Every day that you don't write
- 19:46something is 1 less seed planted, and that seed could
- 19:54have turned into a tree bearing fruit forever.
- 20:02But only if you plant a seed, which only happens.
- 20:07If you write, you get the idea that the more you plant, the
- 20:16more abundant your garden becomes.
- 20:21Not every tree will bear fruit, but by planting so many seeds,
- 20:30some trees will bear fruit and a few trees will bear enormous
- 20:40amounts of fruit. I want you to get a feeling that
- 20:47the abundance is the by product. Nobody can know when they plant
- 20:53that seed if it would turn into a tree and bear fruit, which is
- 20:58why they plant more than one seed.
- 21:03I want you to get a feeling that the work itself is the reward
- 21:11and the fruit you harvest nourishes not only you, but
- 21:16those who read and feel your words.
- 21:22That your writing is therapy, healing and growth.
- 21:27And don't be surprised if the more you do it, the better you
- 21:31feel. Some of your words will connect
- 21:36to your own experiences. Some words you get on that page
- 21:42will be cathartic. They will feel better just
- 21:48articulating things that have been inside you and then become
- 21:56released. And I want you to feel that the
- 22:02the more you write, the more you heal.
- 22:05And you are healing yourself through expression and you heal
- 22:10others through inspiration. Everyone benefits so long as you
- 22:18continue writing. But you don't benefit, and
- 22:24nobody else will, if words that could have been written remain
- 22:30unwritten. Let's welcome someone into this
- 22:37garden as you. Now imagine someone that you
- 22:42admire deeply, someone that you can admire for their creativity,
- 22:49their capability, their authenticity, or their
- 22:54inspiration. And I want you to imagine that
- 22:58they are in your garden, their prime.
- 23:02And I want you to imagine seeing them at work.
- 23:10And maybe they work whether they feel like it or not.
- 23:13Or maybe they wait for inspiration to come to them.
- 23:20But you can just notice how they move, how they think, how they
- 23:24create. And maybe you can sense the
- 23:27energy. Maybe it's effortless flow, or
- 23:34maybe it's structured discipline.
- 23:39Whatever their approach is, you get a sense that because of
- 23:45their consistency, it gives them a confidence that the universe
- 23:51itself supports their work. And if you could imagine that
- 23:57person at a time when they are pure, profound and prolific, let
- 24:04me know by nodding your head. And then imagine stepping into
- 24:11them, stepping into that person with those qualities in their
- 24:18prime. And imagine merging with their
- 24:21qualities, feeling their creativity, their confidence,
- 24:28their ease, their beliefs that success is inevitable if they
- 24:36just simply show up and create. And as those qualities fuse
- 24:48within you, you begin to feel unstoppable, relentless,
- 24:58tenacious, determined, as if every word you write carries
- 25:04purpose, precision, and power. Because you are the one with the
- 25:10Midas touch. You are the 1 planting forests
- 25:17of words. And these forests will grow long
- 25:21after you've written them. Because you are the one whose
- 25:26work ripples through time and as you drift forward into your
- 25:35future. Now imagine seeing yourself
- 25:39writing, maybe sitting at a desk, maybe writing in bed,
- 25:47maybe somewhere else, fingers dancing effortlessly over the
- 25:53keyboard of your laptop. Observe as hours pass like
- 25:58minutes, as you see yourself writing in a state of effortless
- 26:04flow, like words arriving faster than you can type them.
- 26:12It's as if something pure, profound and luminous is being
- 26:17channelled through you and you can see the pages stacking up.
- 26:26Imagine yourself saving files, chapters, paragraphs, words, but
- 26:35not just one project after project.
- 26:41And you know every piece of work you create is one more tree
- 26:48planted, one more fruit that will nourish, inspire and
- 26:54sustain. It's inevitable and drift
- 27:01further into the future where you can imagine receiving
- 27:04messages from readers, emails of gratitude, or perhaps royalty
- 27:12statements, contracts for new deals leading to pure financial
- 27:19abundance. See a future where you are
- 27:24reaping what you sow and what you sow is the words that you
- 27:31write consistently. I want you to get a feeling, not
- 27:41a hope, not a belief, but an ingrained conviction that when
- 27:47you do the work, the results will come.
- 27:52And when you write your truth, when you connect in the way that
- 27:58only you can, success is inevitable.
- 28:08And now explore your garden and find the two or three most
- 28:14impressive trees with the most fruit because this is the work
- 28:19you will be remembered for. These trees don't exist if the
- 28:28tree was never planted. And I want you to get a feeling
- 28:34of duty, responsibility. You feel this is your quest to
- 28:46do what's necessary. So these trees do get planted,
- 28:51do grow and do flourish because there are people out there in
- 28:57the world that need the fruit that comes from these trees.
- 29:06And if you don't plant them, if you don't write the words, they
- 29:11will never receive them. I want you to imagine leaving
- 29:18the garden, climbing back up that marble staircase into
- 29:26paradise, and seeing a version of you continuing to type away
- 29:33there on that laptop. And maybe you can interpret the
- 29:40words that are written, or maybe you just get a sense then that's
- 29:47what it comes down to. Doing the work, allowing
- 29:55yourself to be the conduit so that words come through you onto
- 30:02a screen, that ripple through space and time, provide
- 30:09abundance for you and impact to others.
- 30:14And then merge him with that version of you that was typing
- 30:17all of this time, getting a sense that it's time to return.
- 30:24But you return with a feeling of alignment, all parts now focused
- 30:30on the same mission, to do your duty, to fulfil your purpose, to
- 30:42ensure you meet your responsibilities.
- 30:48Because if you are here for a reason, this is your reason.
- 30:56It's time to leave this paradise and return back to the present,
- 31:03taking a new way of thinking, a new desire to do your duty.
- 31:11So take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your
- 31:16nose. Wiggle your fingers, wiggle your
- 31:20toes, connect and calibrate into the here and the now as I now
- 31:26count from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken you.
- 31:31Starting to count on 2/3 waking up 456 more alert 7-8 open your
- 31:40eyes, open your eyes, 910. Wide awake, wide awake, wide
- 31:47awake. Thank you so much for joining me
