- 0:50Speaker 4: is a totally true story.
- 0:51Speaker 3: You don't look happy.
- 0:52Speaker 4: I walked in there and there was a young lady,
- 0:57Speaker 4: maybe eighteen twenty, and she said good morning, how are you?
- 1:05Speaker 4: And I said good, thank you and she went good
- 1:08Speaker 4: thank you?

- 1:15Speaker 2: Strange encounters. There's a stranger canter strange encounters?
- 1:18Speaker 1: Sorry?
- 1:19Speaker 4: And she went, oh no, it was nothing. It was nothing,
- 1:22Speaker 4: and I went, Okay, where was that your local?
- 1:25Speaker 1: There's my local?
- 1:26Speaker 4: And it was like, good, thank you, and I was
- 1:29Speaker 4: about to say some more before she said that you
- 1:32Speaker 4: didn't need to say anymore all exactly, and and I
- 1:35Speaker 4: was just and so I bought my curry spring roll
- 1:39Speaker 4: and just walked out, Okay.
- 1:39Speaker 1: What the fuck was that? How ridiculous.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Equally, when she said how are you? You gonna have gone, Oh,
- 1:45Speaker 2: how are you?
- 1:46Speaker 1: How are you? But that's what it was? Good thank you?
- 1:50Speaker 1: I was like, what the fuck's going on with the world?
- 1:53Speaker 3: There's how old eighteen.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Wouldn't have been more than that. I was just like,
- 2:00Speaker 1: fucking hell did I say good? Thank you?
- 2:02Speaker 3: And that's not your fault.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Anyway, and then I just walked down went up, Fuck it,
- 2:12Speaker 1: that's bullshit. It is bullshit.
- 2:13Speaker 3: How often do you go to the bakery for a
- 2:15Speaker 3: curry spring roll?
- 2:16Speaker 1: Quite often?
- 2:17Speaker 3: And your first time you've seen it.
- 2:18Speaker 1: That's where I.
- 2:19Speaker 4: Get my chicken sandwich from when we're playing golf gezy right,
- 2:22Speaker 4: And yes, actually it was the first time I've seen this,
- 2:24Speaker 4: particularly young lady, because it normally it's someone else.
- 2:26Speaker 3: So you've because you've been in their house for ages.
- 2:28Speaker 3: You've been go to the bakery for a long time, Yes,
- 2:30Speaker 3: and you walk in and that's what you get.
- 2:32Speaker 4: That's what I got, and it actually, in fact, it
- 2:34Speaker 4: pissed me off so much that I almost went, I
- 2:37Speaker 4: don't worry about it and walked out. But I didn't
- 2:39Speaker 4: because I was hungry. You want to carry roll your
- 2:42Speaker 4: man bus carry roll?
- 2:44Speaker 1: I can't resist to carry roll. But how was your day, keezy?
- 2:48Speaker 3: Are really good feelings? I'm good with the the guys.
- 2:52Speaker 3: We went to Fiji with Nate Nosey. Did you play? Yep?
- 2:56Speaker 3: We played this morning tuck point of there. It was
- 2:58Speaker 3: a bit of a ship show and I was to
- 3:00Speaker 3: be late for work, so I had to call it
- 3:01Speaker 3: with a few holes to which is a shame.
- 3:03Speaker 1: When you get do you remember.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Yeah, it's slow. We have to play somewhere else. But
- 3:08Speaker 3: our course was an available Jason. But the fuck that
- 3:11Speaker 3: good guys, good fellas, Yeah, really good guys. Se Nosy
- 3:14Speaker 3: shot in ninety eight fucking oath he dude, because when
- 3:16Speaker 3: we're in Fiji, he had me and everyone else had
- 3:20Speaker 3: a shocker. But he was awesome. He sorted his game out. Yes,
- 3:24Speaker 3: and Nate was massively hung over from Metallica and he
- 3:26Speaker 3: got eighty four. He got eighty four.
- 3:28Speaker 1: He's a good goal guy.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Eighty four.
- 3:30Speaker 2: You'd be stunked with that, yeah, eighty oh yeah, I
- 3:33Speaker 2: mean I would be, but I think he's that good
- 3:36Speaker 2: a goal for that.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Yeah, you know what I mean. Fuck off, But it
- 3:40Speaker 3: was good chating to those fearlers.
- 3:41Speaker 1: With your eighty four's.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Yeah, and then we've comeing to work in as a
- 3:45Speaker 3: brand new studio sit up.
- 3:46Speaker 2: It's pretty fancy, fancy take a little bit of getting
- 3:49Speaker 2: used to you.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Also, one thing I want to make.
- 3:52Speaker 1: He means by that is he can't.
- 3:54Speaker 3: I want to make clear. This is what I want
- 3:56Speaker 3: to make clear. The only one who can perve. Now
- 3:58Speaker 3: I'm steering at Pugs. Mike is staring at Jace. Jace
- 4:02Speaker 3: has got both windows to perve out of.
- 4:04Speaker 2: So can I can I say? I feel like you've
- 4:06Speaker 2: straightened up a bit. So, if anything, it's just as
- 4:08Speaker 2: easy as it always was for you to perve. The
- 4:10Speaker 2: only one who's been robbed here is me, And I'll
- 4:12Speaker 2: be talking to Boggley about it. Yes, absolutely stitched out
- 4:15Speaker 2: because it's a good contract.
- 4:17Speaker 1: You're in the same position.
- 4:19Speaker 4: You can still out and you always do the swivel
- 4:22Speaker 4: of the headed way.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I'm looking directly at Hoidy J in real life, over
- 4:26Speaker 2: Hoody Jay's left shoulder. As I said, I can see
- 4:28Speaker 2: another Hoody j myself, Kezy, Manaiah, and Jerry, and over
- 4:32Speaker 2: Jason's other shoulder, I can see myself, Jason again and Kezy.
- 4:36Speaker 2: So I've got three of everybody in this room. It's
- 4:39Speaker 2: not a great view because we put the cricket on there.
- 4:43Speaker 2: They Big Show week days from four on Radio Hiarchy
- 4:50Speaker 2: Big Show Podcast.
- 4:52Speaker 3: I like it though, because I'm looking at me. That's good.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Well you've always looked at Pugs. You're talking about this
- 4:57Speaker 4: in a different place.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Black Patch.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I tell you what I like about it. I tell
- 5:03Speaker 2: you what I like about it. This is a change
- 5:05Speaker 2: for the good for me. When I was sitting over there,
- 5:08Speaker 2: I was sitting in between Keyzy and Pegs, so Kezy
- 5:12Speaker 2: would be chatting, but he'd always look past me for
- 5:15Speaker 2: Pugs's reaction, and he'd be those two would be shearing looks.
- 5:20Speaker 2: I don't have to worry about that anymore. It's going
- 5:21Speaker 2: to take a full head tune for Kez to disrespect
- 5:24Speaker 2: me in that manner.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Because you used to notice that I'd be like rolling
- 5:26Speaker 3: my eyes and giving the In the early days, though
- 5:30Speaker 3: your eye rolls were out there, I was I wasn't
- 5:33Speaker 3: allowed to do much, so all I could do.
- 5:37Speaker 1: I can't.
- 5:38Speaker 4: I mean, I you know, and focused on the shade
- 5:40Speaker 4: and I don't look at pegs anyway anywhere, you know
- 5:44Speaker 4: what I mean? And that felt so good.
- 5:49Speaker 2: We've got to do it on here so that we
- 5:50Speaker 2: could do that to.
- 5:51Speaker 3: You all the time.
- 5:51Speaker 1: It is so weird, eh. I was so taken aback by.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I was like, what the fun was?
- 5:57Speaker 3: Yeah, it's great, Yeah, yeah.
- 6:01Speaker 1: But you know, I kind of like the setup.
- 6:03Speaker 2: It's it's streamlined, it is, and what I really like
- 6:06Speaker 2: about it is it's going to be easy to keep clean.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Yes, fucking hell he changed, fellow, Was it still the
- 6:13Speaker 1: same the.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Same disk with the towels used to be. It's been rotated.
- 6:18Speaker 3: But I was chanting to Liam, who wired it all up,
- 6:20Speaker 3: young fella, nice guy, and he was like, it was
- 6:24Speaker 3: fucking disgusting. Yeah. Be once you lifted the keyboards and
- 6:27Speaker 3: the desk and stuff. There was beer that had been
- 6:29Speaker 3: spilt by Mikey have a a decade ago, probably drugs
- 6:32Speaker 3: and all sorts of stuff. Still everywhere, bottle caps, heaps
- 6:36Speaker 3: the bottle caps. Wow, and apparently so many. Not surprising,
- 6:40Speaker 3: no exactly, but just the filth that we sort of
- 6:42Speaker 3: get used to. Yeah, that is the thing.
- 6:45Speaker 1: No in fearing is so keysy.
- 6:47Speaker 4: It was under cover is when he pulled everything out,
- 6:49Speaker 4: but he found it. It's like when you wheel out
- 6:52Speaker 4: your oven from the little you know, your little getting
- 6:55Speaker 4: us like holy fuck on wheels.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Yes, when we got we pulled ours out.
- 7:00Speaker 4: It was like, Gujesus good, gold, holy Mother of God,
- 7:05Speaker 4: what was under there? No, no, it wasn't even It
- 7:08Speaker 4: was actually more crime, filth down the side of that oven.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Especially when you've been cooking on the top with oil. Yeah,
- 7:14Speaker 3: and it just makes everything so gross. Yeah, it's not
- 7:17Speaker 3: good man, it's not good guys, you know what I mean.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Went and saw my first flat today.
- 7:23Speaker 3: Gold here though, good. This is solid goal and that
- 7:27Speaker 3: will lead us into my chin. Yes, very good. I
- 7:30Speaker 3: went on MC to gig last night.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Oh how did that go?
- 7:32Speaker 2: It was really good? A bit rusty if I'm honest.
- 7:35Speaker 1: You know what, do you know what?
- 7:36Speaker 2: I have an MC one since you and I did
- 7:37Speaker 2: the architectural price, which is what I said three years ago.
- 7:40Speaker 1: So neither.
- 7:42Speaker 3: That was a long time ago.
- 7:44Speaker 2: I didn't go turned down heaps, yes, but it was
- 7:48Speaker 2: for a mate, so of course I didn't get paid,
- 7:50Speaker 2: which is the best kind of m scene. But he
- 7:53Speaker 2: he's a party guy. I met him backpacking twenty seven
- 7:56Speaker 2: years ago. It was over in Sydney and he came
- 8:00Speaker 2: to New Zealand and started out as a car groom
- 8:02Speaker 2: at this joint Go Rentals, it's called out in Penrose.
- 8:07Speaker 2: They had sixty cars and he started out just cleaning
- 8:09Speaker 2: cars when they returned. And so he's been them with
- 8:11Speaker 2: him for twenty five years to the point where he's
- 8:13Speaker 2: running it. And he's taken it from those sixty cars.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Now they've got three thousand cars right, and got revenue
- 8:19Speaker 2: of like thirty eight million. Sweet, and he's still going
- 8:22Speaker 2: to pay you a bit no havy to do it
- 8:26Speaker 2: for free. But Jesus, it was good. It was good
- 8:28Speaker 2: because I only know him as an absolute perse hound,
- 8:31Speaker 2: which is what Hey and I do. But to see
- 8:32Speaker 2: him actually in a work environment and goin, oh, actually
- 8:34Speaker 2: you've got you got a brain in there, it's very good.
- 8:36Speaker 3: It was really great.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I had a great time, was the yeah man.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Just as a work of it. It was his fear.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Well, so he's done twenty five years and he's leaving,
- 8:43Speaker 2: so he's actually practically well, he's not going to retire,
- 8:45Speaker 2: but he's he's leaving.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Oh man retiring at forty nine.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Oh he sounds all right.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Well how long was he there? Because I went five years?
- 8:55Speaker 3: He started to go rentals.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Now I should start it now and I'll be done
- 8:59Speaker 2: by seventy three, seventy four.
- 9:01Speaker 3: Fu you or Jason, and you'll be I'd still be
- 9:05Speaker 3: six year yes, yeah, twenty three now is that what
- 9:10Speaker 3: we're doing? Are you twenty three now?
- 9:14Speaker 1: Good ship?
- 9:15Speaker 3: Yes, it was good times.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Listen to the podcast. By the way, listen to the show.
- 9:21Speaker 3: They already listening to the podcast.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Potentially no partty tomorrow, check out right, yeah noody.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Yes, Well know Mike, you're at the Film Awards, the
- 9:30Speaker 3: New Zealand Screen Awards. Jac you are filming I Am
- 9:33Speaker 3: and pugs Is are winning. Yes, and so that has
- 9:36Speaker 3: all happened on one day, which means it's all kezy
- 9:38Speaker 3: with best of Yeah, so there will still be some
- 9:41Speaker 3: big show there every days. Yeah, yeah, well see you
- 9:43Speaker 3: then bye
