  thinking that the Money in the Bank briefcase would have been perfect situation for a

  guy like La Night. I I think he's been able to hold on to

  his popularity and kind of stay lukewarm after his loss to Roman Reigns. I

  feel like he has been able to stay hot with the or you know,

  worm with the fans to the fact that you know, maybe now it's the

  right time to give him the briefcase. But then again, we got jay

  I've been starting to pay attention this guy. I feel like he's going

  to do something that that we're going to see and maybe next year's clip of

  you know, highlight reel. I feel like he's gonna make something that's gonna

  be in the highlight reel of some kind for the next ongoing years. I

  feel like he's gonna have a high spot moment. I don't see him getting

  the briefcase. I feel like this man has just been called up to the

  roster. And I know some people can be called up and be pushed to

  the top right away, and I just maybe it's just because I'm blind by

  not knowing too much about Carmelo Hayes. But I just at this point in

  time, I just don't see him. Briefcase guy, you know returning Andrade.

  It would be good. I could see him cashing in on something like the

  World typeweight title. Or what if this man gets it and finally catches in

  on the inter continental tid He just hasn't been able to grasp for so long.

  But at the end of the day, I think I'm gonna go with

  Okay, interesting choice. I'd say that would probably be that would have

  more weight if this was last year. But I think L. A.

  Knight's momentum he why he's remained popular with the with the fans. He's nowhere

  near as hot as he was last year. A lot of that, a

  lot of that heat, not negative heat, but a lot of that momentum

  that he had last year has been snatched up by Jay Uso and the Yeat

  movement. Like Jay is now what La Knight was last year, arguably even

  more so because I think Jay has more main event credibility. Even though he

  hasn't won too many any of those matches, He's at least been in them,
• 15:18
  so people can see j as a main eventor people see j as being
• 15:22
  on to come up and haven't been there for a while, you know,
• 15:26
  by proxy of the bloodline. La Knight, on the other hand, he's
• 15:33
  hot. He was hot last year. He was quite hot last year.

  Since then, he's kind of cooled off, and it seems more than likely
• 15:41
  that he's slated for a program with a logan Paul moving forward. So I
• 15:48
  don't see where the money in the bank briefcase would factor into that. And
• 15:50
  I don't think they would do some tour scenario where briefcase versus title or anything
• 15:56
  like that for SummerSlam with them, So I don't see La Knight having it.

  Andrade he's there for moves. Carmela Hayes, he's there for moves.

  He's to be the rookie guy to show out, which I have seen some
• 16:11
  of his stuff in NXT, and he can he can go. He's not
• 16:15
  like a Ricochet type of high flyer. That's gonna pull off crazy over the
• 16:19
  top stuff. But he's a good, solid worker that can pull off some
• 16:25
  good work in the ring, especially working with the ladder. I think he's
• 16:27
  gonna he's in there for the moves, for the high flying stuff, just
• 16:30
  like I believe Androtte is also to an extent Chad Gable. Again, he's
• 16:38
  more than likely obviously gonna be preoccupied with the Wired Six, probably as their
• 16:45
  first target moving forward. So I don't think that leaves much space for him
• 16:48
  to have the money in the bank briefcase. So that really leaves just the
• 16:53
  two people who are the closest to being in a title picture without actually being
• 16:59
  in it right now, or one who actually is in it, and that's
• 17:02
  Drew McIntyre and Jay Oops. So yeah, obvious choices. Obviously, Drew
• 17:10
  seems poised. He's like right there on the cusps. Obviously, he just
• 17:14
  had a world title match at Clash at the Castle where he got screwed over
• 17:19
  by Dole's favorite wrestler, So he's you know, he's still adjacent to the
• 17:26
  top picture. So what I said, you mean Pete Dougherty, the Duke
• 17:32
  of Dorchester. I didn't know he was still active. MM hmm, that
• 17:41
  that guy. But yeah, like I said, Drew is still close to
• 17:48
  the title picture. Now he could use that as a way to get back
• 17:52
  in it, but he also seems poised for something with uh teampunk moving forward
• 18:02
  that seems to be their direction. And now beyond that obviously TBD, But

  it seems like once you have the briefcase, that kind of becomes a central
• 18:14
  focal point of your character for moving forward, at least for the immediate future,
• 18:19
  especially obviously you do can do other things outside of that. We saw

  Damian Priest become Tag Team Champion. The whole time he was sending your money
• 18:29
  in the bank and have cash in failure after cashing failure. I don't know
• 18:37
  if they want to repeat that same formula with a heel champion with a heel
• 18:41
  money in the bank person. Again, Yeah, like I mean, obviously
• 18:45
  if he's sentially be doing what they're doing, what they did last year is
• 18:51
  going down that route. So my pick probably for it is going to be
• 18:55
  Jay Us. I think he's got the most momentum for it. I think
• 19:00
  now granted, my all the hesitation is seeing him come out with that briefcase
• 19:06
  every single week could get very tiresome, at least with Damian Briest. When

  he had it, it was part of a group, so it kind of
• 19:15
  he had it, he held it up, but it was kind of it
• 19:18
  wasn't as prominently featured, giving that he was in a group. He's a

  faction. Yeah, it was him Andria and Finn and in the briefcase,

  which is also there. Then they had title belts obviously, whereas Jay is
• 19:33
  pretty much standing on his own right now. So if he's gonna have that
• 19:37
  briefcase, then is he gonna have it for a long time or is he
• 19:45
  going to be the person who is a quick cash in. Yeah, I

  think we can go that route. So that's that's why I think my pick

  is Jay is wins the money up. Jay becomes the mister money in the
• 20:02
  bank or mister Yeat in the bank or whatever he was saying Monday, and

  then I would put money on him cashing in before a Survivor series. I

  I totally forgot about your McIntyre. But like I guess, when I think

  about I think about Drew, I think he's just the man's going to get

  screwed over yet again by Punk because the fucking feud is way more important.

  And then again on the other foot, think about I'm just gonna put this

  out there. On the other foot, right, say Drew wins it,

  that man cashes in on the guy who cashed in on him and takes it

  from fucking Damien Priest going full circle. There a nice dating that would be

  just some nice payback, especially being so recent, too so recent. Imagine

  if this man defends and beat seth Rons clean and then Drew McIntyre claim wore

  is the son of a bitch out of nowhere and gets his title. Like

  the man is celebrating that he beats seth Rowns without the judgment day he beat

  him clean to the man to celebrate, and he gets Claymoard out of nowhere

  and and Drew Cash is in and now we have Drew versus Gunther at SummerSlam.

  Okay, I'm jumping too far, d I'm jumping to Doyle. Doyle,

  talk about like how the match order is going to affect how things are going

  to play out right, and this and this paper was always a good example

  of that, you know, because if this match comes after the World Heavyweight

  Championship match, it kind of kills some of the drama, right, So

  I'm gonna assume that this match happens before the title match. And I've talked

  a lot about how good it is. You know that several different wrestlers have

  several different storylines all going on at the same time. It's not just one,

  you know how I'm here, I'm feuding with this guy that I'm went

  to field with this guy. You know, You've got some people have multiple

  feuds or interactions or stuff going on with people. So some of these people,
• 22:22
  I think, as you both said, have things that they're going to
• 22:25
  be moving on to in short order, I think, and you can start
• 22:27
  to eliminate people based on that, Like for example, Andrew Day. Well,

  actually that's a bad example. He's got fucking nothing going on. I

  really like him. I actually thought he was doing pretty well in AW but
• 22:42
  he's kind of struggling to find his place on the main roster. Maybe he
• 22:48
  can have a good showing and parlay that into something going forward. I don't

  know, but he is my least likely to win the match. I think

  he's what we call cannon fodder right in Carmelo Hayes. He's brushed up against
• 23:03
  you know, none other than Cody Rhodes right already and doesn't really get any
• 23:07
  bigger than that. But he doesn't really have anything concrete going on either,

  and a briefcase would certainly give him something to do. But he's more of
• 23:17
  like he has more of a chance than Androtti does, but I don't think
• 23:21
  he's there yet. Now. Next year he might be a favorite to win
• 23:26
  it, but not this year. And god damn it, he's so little
• 23:30
  and speaking a little. Chad Gable is another one. He's actually got three
• 23:34
  stories going on right now. Right, he's got the Alphai Academy story,

  He's got this nonsense with the Wyatts, and then he's got the Creed brothers

  who spoke to him at the end of after Otis rejected him. Right,

  So something's going on there. But I don't see how the briefcase would fit

  in with him. He's already got too much shit going on. I mean,
• 23:55
  he's doing the best work of his career. But Wayne, like you

  said, he spent this entire year not winning the Iron, the Iron the
• 24:03
  Intercontinental Jesus Championship, Like, what makes you know doesn't wrestling logic suggest that

  if you can't win the Icy title, you shouldn't be in line to win

  the world title. Now, Yeah, I'm gonna totally disagree with you about

  l A. Knight. H. You know, he's got this feud with
• 24:19
  Logan Paul. He's already penciled into it. H. You know, I'm
• 24:22
  gonna go ahead and book him winning the US title at SummerSlam, which is
• 24:26
  something that we have been kind of waiting to happen for months. It seems
• 24:30
  like I think we all thought we were going to see that at WrestleMania.

  But I think that's I think that's in the cards for him. Briefcase just
• 24:41
  doesn't really fit in there either. Jay Uza certainly a possibility, but I
• 24:48
  think he needs to be freed up for the Bloodline civil War which is coming.

  But this is where match order matters, right, Because if I think

  it's a foregone conclusion that Punk is going to screw Drew one way or another,

  so this match happens after the title match, he'll screw Drew out of

  the briefcase. I think and Jay will win. But if this, say,

  it opens the show, I think Drew will actually win the briefcase with
• 25:11
  Punk nowhere to be found. I mean, Drew said that he's going to
• 25:15
  cash in that night when he wins the briefcase, no reason not to believe
• 25:18
  him, right, So I think then Punk will screw him on the cash
• 25:22
  in is what's going to happen. I really like the symmetry of him going
• 25:26
  after Priest the guy that went after him. That's great. I actually hadn't

  even notice that, But I mean, the briefcase works so much better with

  the heel anyway. You know, when Jay wins his first title, it

  needs to be more organic. It needs to be a you know, I

  guess he could do the heroic babyface thing and call a shot, you know,

  oh, I'm going to challenge so and so to the match at this

  show or whatever, But it just seems more like a dastardly healed kind of

  thing to do. I think he's work better as money in the bank briefcase

  holders, and we've traditionally kind of seen the women's We'll get to this obviously

  in a second, but they cash in almost immediately. The men usually tend

  to hang on to it for a while. I'd maybe like to see us
• 26:14
  reverse that. Maybe maybe Drew wins it, cashes in immediately, it gets

  screwed by Punk, and then whoever wins the women's match, which I guess
• 26:22
  we'll probably talk about next. We'll go on and have a nice long reign

  with the briefcase, and then you don't have to book two briefcase stories at
• 26:30
  the same time. She gets really fucking repetitive sometimes. It certainly did last
• 26:34
  year. So if you only go with the one, I think that's the

  way I would do. Didn't Eo cash in almost immediately last year? Does

  she hold on to the briefcase for well, she had it, I wrote

  it down. I think she had it for like thirty five days. Yeah,

  so she cashed in pretty quickly. Okay, so there's only been six

  six women winners, right, Carmela held it forever, But she also didn't

  she win it and then get it stripped and then have to rewin it back.

  And then she held it. I think she held it, has held

  it for longer than anyone has ever held it. But all of the other

  cashings either that night or the night or the next night. Uh, and

  then there was the one where Oscar won and then Becky handed to the title

  the next day because she was pregres. So it's only really been one nice

  long run with the for women with the briefcase, and it's always the men
• 27:27
  that have it for three months, five months, six months, you know
• 27:32
  what, increased to have it for eight months, nine months. So I'd
• 27:36
  like to see that trend reverse. But we'll talk about that. Yeah,

  Summer SLA, didn't she right after Biaka won the title back from the U.

  that speaks to how at least how well booked this match is, because this

  chosen somebody different. Yeah, I mean I could make a solid case for

  just about everybody, but yeah, he's got no chance. But I think

  I can make a solid case for any of the other five. But I

  do. I think I agree with you that or I like the point that

  you bring it up of switching it up and having a woman hold on to

  the briefcase for an extended period of time and having the man having the guy

  be the quick cash Yeah if yeah, punk punk screw and drew out of

  the cash and actually could make a whole lot of sense, even though some

  people would probably complete back, but they just wasted the money in the brief

  briefcase. They just threw it away. Like I said, it's so hard

  to book two of them. I rather have him screwed over though trying to

  get the briefcase, and he almost gets in and you know, Punk pushes

  him off the ladder and ship and somebody else grabs it screw over. If

  he actually wins the briefcase and then he gets screwed on the cash ship,

  that just turns it up even that much more. My only thing is just

  I wonder how much more momentum, how much more heat can they add to
