  Speaker 1: with branches abiding, and blooming of a dismembered tree. And

  Speaker 1: there I saw a holy mountain. And underneath the mountain,

  Speaker 1: to the east there was a stream, and it flowed

  Speaker 1: towards the south. And I saw towards the east another

  Speaker 1: mountain higher than this, and between them a deep and

  Speaker 1: narrow ravine. In it also ran a stream underneath the mountain.

  Speaker 1: And to the west thereof there was another mountain, lower

  Speaker 1: than the former, and of small elevation, and a ravine

  Speaker 1: deep and dry between them. And another deep and dry

  Speaker 1: ravine was at the extremities of the three mountains. And

  Speaker 1: all the ravines were deep and narrow, being formed of

  Speaker 1: hard rock, and trees were not planted upon them. And

  Speaker 1: I marveled as the rocks, and I marveled at the ravine. Yea,

  Speaker 1: I am marveled very much. Chapter twenty seven. The purpose of

  Speaker 1: the accursed valley, then, said I, for what object is

  Speaker 1: this blessed land? Which is entirely filled with trees, and

  Speaker 1: this accursed valley between. Then Uriel, one of the Holy angels,

  Speaker 1: is for those who are accursed. Forever. Here shall all

  Speaker 1: the accursed be gathered together, who utter with their lips

  Speaker 1: against the Lord unseemly words, and of his glory speak

  Speaker 1: hard things. Here shall they be gathered together, and here

  Speaker 1: shall be their place of judgment. In the last days,

  Speaker 1: there shall be upon them the spectacle of righteous judgment,

  Speaker 1: in the presence of the Righteous. Forever. Here shall the

  Speaker 1: merciful bless the Lord of Glory, the eternal King, in

  Speaker 1: the days of judgment over the former. They shall bless

  Speaker 1: him for the mercy and accordance with which he has

  Speaker 1: assigned them their lot. Then I bless the Lord of

  Speaker 1: East chapter twenty eight, and thence I went toward the east,

  Speaker 1: into the midst of the mountain range of the desert,

  Speaker 1: and I saw a wilderness, and it was solitary, full

  Speaker 1: of trees and plants, and water gushed forth from above,

  Speaker 1: rushing like a copious watercourse, which flowed towards the northwest.

  Speaker 1: It caused clouds and dew to ascend on every side

  Speaker 1: Chapter twenty nine. And thence I went to another place

  Speaker 1: in the desert and approached to the east of this

  Speaker 1: mountain range, and there I saw aromatic trees exhaling the

  Speaker 1: fragrance of frankincense and myrrh, and the trees also were

  Speaker 1: I went afar to the east, and I saw another place,

  Speaker 1: a valley full of water, and therein there was a
• 2:53
  Speaker 1: tree the color of fragrant trees, such as the mastic.

  Speaker 1: And on the size of those valleys I saw fragrance sinna.

  Speaker 1: And beyond these I proceeded to the east Chapter thirty one,

  Speaker 1: and I saw other mountains, and amongst them were groves

  Speaker 1: of trees, and there flowed forth from them nectar, which

  Speaker 1: is named Sarara and galbanum. And beyond these mountains I
• 3:16
  Speaker 1: saw another mountain to the east of the ends of
• 3:18
  Speaker 1: the earth, whereon were allow trees, and all the trees
• 3:22
  Speaker 1: were full of stactate, being like almond trees. And when
• 3:26
  Speaker 1: one burnt it. It smelt sweeter than any fragrant odor,
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: Chapter thirty two. And after these fragrant odors, as I
• 3:34
  Speaker 1: looked toward the north over the mountains, I saw seven
• 3:37
  Speaker 1: mountains full of choice nard and fragrant trees, and cinnamon
• 3:41
  Speaker 1: and pepper. And thence I went over the summits of
• 3:44
  Speaker 1: all these mountains, far towards the east of the earth,
• 3:47
  Speaker 1: and passed above the Erythrian Sea, and went far from it,
• 3:51
  Speaker 1: and passed over the angel Zalutiel. And I came to
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: the garden of Righteousness, and saw beyond those trees many
• 3:58
  Speaker 1: large trees growing there, and of goodly fragrance, large, very
• 4:02
  Speaker 1: beautiful and glorious, and the tree of wisdom, whereof they eat,

  Speaker 1: and no great wisdom. That tree is in height like
• 4:10
  Speaker 1: the fir, and its leaves are like those of the
• 4:13
  Speaker 1: carab tree, and its fruit is like the clusters of
• 4:16
  Speaker 1: the vine, very beautiful, and the fragrance of the tree
• 4:19
  Speaker 1: penetrates afar. Then I said, how beautiful is the tree,

  Speaker 1: and how attractive is its look. Then Raphael, the Holy Angel,

  Speaker 1: who was with me, answered me and said, this is
• 4:31
  Speaker 1: the tree of wisdom of which thy father old in
• 4:33
  Speaker 1: years and thy aged mother, who were before thee have eaten,
• 4:38
  Speaker 1: and they learned wisdom, and their eyes were opened, and
• 4:41
  Speaker 1: they knew that they were naked, and they were driven
• 4:43
  Speaker 1: out of the garden Chapter thirty three. And from thence

  Speaker 1: I went to the ends of the earth, and saw

  Speaker 1: there great beasts, and each differed from the other. And

  Speaker 1: I saw birds, also differing in appearance and beauty and voice,

  Speaker 1: the one differing from the other. And to the east

  Speaker 1: of those beasts, I saw the ends of the earth,

  Speaker 1: whereon the heaven rests, and the portals of the heavens open,
• 5:06
  Speaker 1: and I saw how the stars of heaven come forth.

  Speaker 1: And I counted the portals out of which they proceed,
• 5:11
  Speaker 1: and wrote down all their outlets, of each individual's star
• 5:15
  Speaker 1: by itself, according to their number, and their names, their courses,
• 5:19
  Speaker 1: and their positions, and their times and their months. As Uriel,

  Speaker 1: the Holy Angel who was with me showed me. He
• 5:26
  Speaker 1: showed all things to me and wrote them down for me.

  Speaker 1: Also their names he wrote for me, and their laws

  Speaker 1: and their companies Chapter thirty four to thirty five. Enix

  Speaker 1: Journey to the North chapter thirty four. And from thence

  Speaker 1: I went towards the north, to the ends of the Earth.

  Speaker 1: And there I saw a great and glorious device at
• 5:46
  Speaker 1: the ends of the whole earth. And here I saw
• 5:49
  Speaker 1: three portals of Heaven open in the heaven. Through each
• 5:53
  Speaker 1: of them proceed north winds. When they blow there is cold, hail, frost, snow, dew,

  Speaker 1: and rain. And out of the one portal they blow
• 6:01
  Speaker 1: for good. But when they blow through the other two portals,
• 6:05
  Speaker 1: it is with violence and affliction on the earth, and
• 6:08
  Speaker 1: they blow with violence, Chapter thirty five. And from thence
• 6:13
  Speaker 1: I went towards the west, to the ends of the Earth,
• 6:15
  Speaker 1: and I saw there three portals of the Heaven open,
• 6:18
  Speaker 1: such as I had seen in the east, the same
• 6:21
  Speaker 1: number of portals and the same number of outlets. Chapter
• 6:24
  Speaker 1: thirty six. Journey to the South, And from thence I
• 6:28
  Speaker 1: went to the south to the ends of the Earth,
• 6:30
  Speaker 1: and I saw there three open portals of the Heaven.
• 6:33
  Speaker 1: And thence there came dew, rain, and wind. And from
• 6:38
  Speaker 1: thence I went to the east to the ends of
• 6:40
  Speaker 1: the heaven, and saw here the three eastern portals of
• 6:44
  Speaker 1: Heaven open, and small portals above them. Through each of
• 6:48
  Speaker 1: these small portals passed the stars of Heaven and run
• 6:51
  Speaker 1: their course to the west, on the path which is
• 6:53
  Speaker 1: shown to them. And as often as I saw, I
• 6:56
  Speaker 1: blessed always the Lord of Glory. And I continued to
• 6:59
  Speaker 1: bless the Lord of Glory, who has wrought great and
• 7:02
  Speaker 1: glorious wonders, to show the greatness of his work to
• 7:05
  Speaker 1: the angels and to spirits and to men, that they
• 7:08
  Speaker 1: might praise his work and all his creation, that they
• 7:12
  Speaker 1: might see the work of his might and praise the
• 7:15
  Speaker 1: great work of his hands, and bless him forever. And
