- 0:00Speaker 1: Off the bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn say.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Hester and Hester, I've got a fine little fat.
- 0:07Speaker 1: From carrying each other to and Natty to carrying each
- 0:10Speaker 1: other on the air.
- 0:11Speaker 3: It's brought control for the.
- 0:16Speaker 4: Live from the Raising Kine studio. It's off the bench,
- 0:26Speaker 4: all right.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Welcome back in OTB hour number three here live from
- 0:30Speaker 3: a Tampa, Florida as we continue our SEC Media Day coverage.
- 0:37Speaker 2: You know what, the the toughest part.
- 0:39Speaker 5: The biggest challenge for me doing the show here or
- 0:42Speaker 5: any remote that for that matter, is I can only
- 0:46Speaker 5: for the whole segment. I gotta wear my hat one
- 0:49Speaker 5: direction and it's got to be either front or back.
- 0:51Speaker 5: Can't go sideways. I can't tilt at a different angles.
- 0:54Speaker 5: Like during the show. It's always like my, it's my
- 0:57Speaker 5: you know, I'm fidgety. Some to have a diagnosed disease
- 1:01Speaker 5: and so I'm moving to.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Some condition like I don't know, it looks like you
- 1:05Speaker 3: said that wrong, Okay, I don't know, I got it.
- 1:07Speaker 3: You can turn out because the heads of head set.
- 1:10Speaker 3: I was like, are you are you No?
- 1:13Speaker 2: I don't care. Obviously you do it.
- 1:14Speaker 5: And I've been wearing sunglasses so like thhich are great
- 1:17Speaker 5: by the way, I mean they figure head with it came.
- 1:20Speaker 5: It came in a plastic bag. So I don't know,
- 1:23Speaker 5: Like you know what's funny about sunglasses. If you buy
- 1:27Speaker 5: an expensive pair of sunglasses, you buy some like ray
- 1:30Speaker 5: bands or some coasters or something, you lose them within
- 1:34Speaker 5: a couple of months. Now this Marlar gave the sent
- 1:36Speaker 5: me in a plastic bag. I will have these for
- 1:39Speaker 5: five years probably like these like the cheap sunglasses you
- 1:43Speaker 5: have forever.
- 1:44Speaker 1: No.
- 1:44Speaker 3: See, the funny thing is what you didn't hear. Marlar
- 1:47Speaker 3: gave them to you, I think to check out. You
- 1:48Speaker 3: took it upon yourself to take them out of the
- 1:50Speaker 3: plastic and put them on, and then you're like, hey,
- 1:52Speaker 3: thanks for these. He goes, actually those are for me,
- 1:55Speaker 3: And then like I saw him realizing real time that
- 1:59Speaker 3: he will wasn't getting them back, and he kind of
- 2:02Speaker 3: like dropped his head like he was sad. But I'm like, Marlar,
- 2:06Speaker 3: you're not getting those bag Bud, those are now Flynns.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Those are property of Matthew. Those are actually like nice,
- 2:11Speaker 3: these belong to me.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Now, I don't know.
- 2:13Speaker 3: So the SEC has like a table like over the
- 2:17Speaker 3: back way, like where the meals and stuff are. That's
- 2:20Speaker 3: like kind of like a taste of the SEC. Like
- 2:23Speaker 3: every SEC town like brought something to try like represent them.
- 2:26Speaker 3: I'm a little disappointed in Baton Rouge. It gave like
- 2:29Speaker 3: stickers of like yeah, like of Louisiana and like two
- 2:33Speaker 3: to five and like for as much culture as we have,
- 2:36Speaker 3: like you gave stickers.
- 2:38Speaker 2: We could have given away my high.
- 2:39Speaker 3: It could have given my high. That would have been
- 2:41Speaker 3: perfect right there, like something like a Cajun seasoning or something,
- 2:45Speaker 3: you know what I mean, Yeah.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Something like a sticker. We're not known for our stickers.
- 2:50Speaker 3: No, I was very disappointed about There are.
- 2:52Speaker 5: Some companies that make fine stickers the best, Yeah, but
- 2:56Speaker 5: we're not. We're not the sticker capital of the world.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Speaking speaking of like being back in that situation, I
- 3:05Speaker 3: forgot to mention this earlier. Will Stein's mom baked all
- 3:10Speaker 3: of us at Serious XM a little bunch cake. Oh
- 3:12Speaker 3: stop it swear to get a little bunch cake.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Look, I'll show you.
- 3:16Speaker 3: I got this great packaging house. Well is that it
- 3:19Speaker 3: was very fun. Look them Kentucky Wildcats. Here's to a
- 3:24Speaker 3: great twenty twenty sixth season. Will Stein from Cissy cakes. Yeah,
- 3:30Speaker 3: city cakes. Yeah, he passed them out. I was like,
- 3:33Speaker 3: look at you, lady. Very nice of her, that is
- 3:39Speaker 3: very nice.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Thank you. So are y'all a fan of she wants?
- 3:43Speaker 2: I've been a fan of Will. She's trying to she
- 3:45Speaker 2: wants big good pub Probably so.
- 3:47Speaker 3: And I don't mind a mom stepping in and trying
- 3:49Speaker 3: to bribe national media. I'm okay with that.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Absolutely. I'm a fan of Will can be used correctly.
- 3:56Speaker 3: I'm a fan of Will because of what he said yesterday.
- 3:58Speaker 3: But like that's what like again, it's not an arrogance,
- 4:00Speaker 3: it's a confidence, like, hey, well's can be the reason
- 4:02Speaker 3: Kentucky you win me.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Yeah, And it depends how you delivered the statement.
- 4:07Speaker 3: I thought you delivered it well.
- 4:08Speaker 5: I did too when I just when I heard it
- 4:11Speaker 5: and I read it, you saw I saw it on
- 4:12Speaker 5: Twitter like this is what he said.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I was like, he took his time. Okay, that could be.
- 4:17Speaker 2: That could go you know, one of two ways.
- 4:19Speaker 5: I guess, Yeah, it could go really well, or you
- 4:22Speaker 5: can just be like you're you're a cocky prick.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Pretty much.
- 4:26Speaker 3: No for sure, but I think seeing the answer, knowing
- 4:29Speaker 3: him a little bit, I think he thought about it
- 4:31Speaker 3: it wasn't like it was just like he thought about it,
- 4:33Speaker 3: he didn't want to say it, and then he's like me,
- 4:37Speaker 3: I'm the reason I liked it. Yeah, all right, Before
- 4:40Speaker 3: we move on to the Auburn Tigers, want to remind
- 4:42Speaker 3: you that if you are an experienced vessel fitter, Palace
- 4:45Speaker 3: Fabrication Shopping Hammon is hiring. If you can read blueprints,
- 4:50Speaker 3: fit asmme pressure vessels and take pride and quality craftsmanship,
- 4:53Speaker 3: Palell wants to hear from you right now. Experienced vessel
- 4:56Speaker 3: fitters can earn a thousand dollars hiring bonus after just
- 5:00Speaker 3: thirty days of employment. You'll also get excellent paid, steady
- 5:03Speaker 3: overtime with work scheduled well into twenty twenty seven, full benefits,
- 5:07Speaker 3: paid vacation, and employee ownership through Palace Eesop Program PALA
- 5:12Speaker 3: Employee Owned relationship driven building together. All right's move on
- 5:17Speaker 3: to the Auburn Tigers. Another team that is here today. Now,
- 5:20Speaker 3: the Auburn Tigers. Matthew, when we were playing college football,
- 5:23Speaker 3: like they were a team that was kind of, you know,
- 5:26Speaker 3: one of the standards I would say, I mean.
- 5:28Speaker 5: Actually to me, you know how LSU, you know, the
- 5:31Speaker 5: rival kind of switches a lot depending on the current
- 5:34Speaker 5: state of college football and the SEC blah blah blah.
- 5:36Speaker 5: We like when we were when I was getting recruited Auburn,
- 5:39Speaker 5: was it like that was most of the highlight films
- 5:43Speaker 5: that they show.
- 5:43Speaker 2: I number ones like that that one. Now it changed
- 5:47Speaker 2: when we were there to Florida.
- 5:48Speaker 5: Yeah, but like I would say, like one, O, two three,
- 5:52Speaker 5: like that was Auburn was like the big, the big
- 5:55Speaker 5: motivational tape.
- 5:58Speaker 3: My freshman year. They went thirty to no. I mean,
- 6:01Speaker 3: so it's Auburn, right, And I never hadn't. I didn't
- 6:04Speaker 3: win there as a player. Now we beat them, we're
- 6:05Speaker 3: two and two, beat them at home, lost him on
- 6:07Speaker 3: the road. I wasn't able to celebrate a victory against
- 6:10Speaker 3: them until, like I guess it would have been twenty
- 6:12Speaker 3: eighteen when Cole Tracy hit that kick. That was the
- 6:15Speaker 3: first time I ever celebrated a victory in that stadium.
- 6:18Speaker 3: It wasn't for me either playing or covering football. So
- 6:22Speaker 3: it was it was a great game. They were a
- 6:23Speaker 3: great program. It has not been great as of late.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Let's take you back to twenty twenty. All right, they
- 6:30Speaker 3: go six and five. Let's go to twenty twenty one,
- 6:33Speaker 3: there's six and seven overall, three and five in the SEC.
- 6:37Speaker 3: Twenty twenty two they're five and seven, two and six
- 6:40Speaker 3: in the SEC. Let's go to twenty twenty three, six
- 6:42Speaker 3: and seven, three and five in the SEC, twenty twenty four,
- 6:46Speaker 3: five and seven, two and six in the SEC. Last
- 6:50Speaker 3: year twenty twenty five, five and seven, one and seven
- 6:54Speaker 3: in the SEC. So when you go all the way
- 6:56Speaker 3: back to twenty twenty one, we're talking about the last
- 6:59Speaker 3: five football seasons, Auburn football has eleven SEC wins in
- 7:04Speaker 3: five seasons. They're barely averaging two wins per season in
- 7:09Speaker 3: the SEC. That is not the Auburn football I know,
- 7:12Speaker 3: you know, anybody in this room knows. They got a
- 7:16Speaker 3: new coach. Alex Golish is coming over from South Florida.
- 7:19Speaker 3: He brings a lot of his roster with him. I
- 7:21Speaker 3: do think he's a good football coach. He was the
- 7:23Speaker 3: OC when Tennessee came to Tiger Stadium a couple of
- 7:26Speaker 3: years ago, Hendon Hooker at that offense, and so he's
- 7:28Speaker 3: the coach.
- 7:29Speaker 5: That almost did Someone tried to fight him, like one
- 7:32Speaker 5: another head coach on the other sideline.
- 7:34Speaker 2: They had something happened. They had a handshake situation.
- 7:37Speaker 3: This feels this is tickland something. Yeah, this is Tickling's
- 7:40Speaker 3: like there's you know.
- 7:41Speaker 5: I'm strange of the things that are remembered are from
- 7:43Speaker 5: random games. But yeah, I think there was maybe a
- 7:46Speaker 5: situation with another coach that was fun. But it clicked
- 7:50Speaker 5: my memory because I saw him walking around. I was like,
- 7:52Speaker 5: is that the coach right there? Is that what I'm
- 7:53Speaker 5: thinking of it? I was like, I remember a handshake
- 7:55Speaker 5: situation with him.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I'm looking at it. Tom Herman and Alex Golish. Okay,
- 8:00Speaker 3: so Tom Herman was the FAU head coach and Alex
- 8:03Speaker 3: Golish was the South Florida head coach. And uh yeah
- 8:07Speaker 3: he got a little uh little fist the cops, but
- 8:11Speaker 3: not really.
- 8:11Speaker 2: I think I think he got a big dog him too,
- 8:13Speaker 2: big dog Herman.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Yeah got Tom Herman.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Whoa what a name? That once got him? Thank god
- 8:20Speaker 2: we didn't wait, we almost got him over bright Kell.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Was that no? That cycle?
- 8:24Speaker 3: No, it was coach O. Was it? Because it was
- 8:28Speaker 3: Jimbo Fisher and then Coach.
- 8:30Speaker 2: O got the job? Yeah?
- 8:33Speaker 3: All right, thank god that didn't happen.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Twenty nineteen would not have happened.
- 8:39Speaker 3: No, there's no way Tom Herman wins that. Uh, there's
- 8:42Speaker 3: no way. Joe Burrow, Joseph Joe would have talked to
- 8:44Speaker 3: Tom Herman like you go watch.
- 8:46Speaker 5: That clip and I will say, for Auburn with your
- 8:49Speaker 5: Alex Golis, you got a little dog in you like
- 8:51Speaker 5: he's a he's got some dog And I'm just based
- 8:53Speaker 5: on now you know, it's uh, we'll see how he translates.
- 8:58Speaker 5: But certainly had South Florida headed in the right direction.
- 9:01Speaker 5: So Auburn needs it needs up. You just you just
- 9:05Speaker 5: said over the last filet think about it. SEC wins
- 9:09Speaker 5: in five season two point Yeah, that's what two point
- 9:11Speaker 5: two wins in the SEC per year like that is.
- 9:15Speaker 5: That's not Auburn football that we know. So can they
- 9:18Speaker 5: get them back, Well, it's going to take a h
- 9:21Speaker 5: in this world and the NIL college football. Yeah, you
- 9:24Speaker 5: can get back real fast, but it can also, you know,
- 9:28Speaker 5: kind of work against you, especially in the SEC when
- 9:30Speaker 5: you have so many rivals and competitors competing for the
- 9:33Speaker 5: same recruits with the same budget or bigger budget than
- 9:38Speaker 5: you have.
- 9:38Speaker 2: So it can go one of two ways.
- 9:40Speaker 5: You can like Indiana, they did it, but it's a
- 9:44Speaker 5: very What Indiana did is a very unfair compe to
- 9:48Speaker 5: everybody else.
- 9:49Speaker 3: And everybody's gonna use it though.
- 9:51Speaker 5: Everybody's gonna use it, but it's completely unfair. So yeah, well, uh,
- 9:56Speaker 5: we'll see how it goes. But I will say, like basically,
- 9:59Speaker 5: watch the clip at the break. If you watched the clip,
- 10:01Speaker 5: he's got a little dog in him. He got a
- 10:03Speaker 5: little you know, Yeah, he can he can.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Be that guy.
- 10:08Speaker 3: I mean he was born in Russia, Moscow, Russia.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Is that he's got some dog in him.
- 10:14Speaker 3: It feels like it. I mean born in Moscow, born
- 10:17Speaker 3: in Moscow. Golish moved to the United States when he
- 10:20Speaker 3: was seven, so I mean kind of grew up a
- 10:21Speaker 3: little bit. I mean seven. Uh, it's when you know
- 10:27Speaker 3: the whole Soviet Union obviously the dissolution of that. Then
- 10:30Speaker 3: he grew up in Brooklyn, moved to Dublin, Ohio, not Ireland,
- 10:35Speaker 3: and that's his upbringing. Went to Ohio State. He was
- 10:39Speaker 3: actually a GA at Ohio State when Bobby Carpenter and
- 10:42Speaker 3: AJ Hawk and that whole crew was there. And so
- 10:45Speaker 3: that's how I've gotten to know him a little bit.
- 10:47Speaker 3: But yeah, grew up in Moscow, Russia until he was seven. Wow,
- 10:51Speaker 3: what are those feels tough?
- 10:54Speaker 2: Is he like the college football version of like a
- 10:56Speaker 2: Russian sparrow?
- 10:57Speaker 3: Feels like it?
- 10:58Speaker 2: You know what I'm talking about? The else spies?
- 11:00Speaker 3: A Landra ask a very good question. Okay, does Golis
- 11:04Speaker 3: have ties to high Point? Oh summer asking? I mean,
- 11:11Speaker 3: it's a laundry in US.
- 11:12Speaker 5: Were the ones that would be it wouldn't be shocking
- 11:15Speaker 5: now they were uncovering that he is a Russian spy.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Yeah, it's true. I think it's good for Auburn though
- 11:20Speaker 3: today's a Russian spy. You got some grit Eastern Europeans.
- 11:26Speaker 3: I mean they're kind of known for that, right yeap.
- 11:28Speaker 5: Female Russian operatives are often referred to as sparrows, So
- 11:32Speaker 5: like what if?
- 11:32Speaker 2: What if they're infiltrating college football?
- 11:34Speaker 3: Now it could be, but look, if Auburn's got to
- 11:37Speaker 3: find a way to win more than two SEC games
- 11:39Speaker 3: a year, maybe it's bringing in a Russian spy.
- 11:41Speaker 2: But I mean, what are you going to do?
- 11:43Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. You know, that's what those
- 11:45Speaker 3: people are talking.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Till seven seventh's more?
- 11:50Speaker 3: I feel bad? Do you want to win? And what
- 11:52Speaker 3: are you willing to sacrifice?
- 11:53Speaker 2: To do it. Yeah, bring in a Russian patriotism. Oh
- 11:58Speaker 2: he really is a good coach. Th Oh for sure,
- 12:00Speaker 2: for sure. That's fun though. I like that. Let's get
- 12:03Speaker 2: a little tip. I did not know that until you
- 12:04Speaker 2: set up.
- 12:05Speaker 3: All right, we will step away. We've got a couple
- 12:08Speaker 3: more segments coming right back your way again. We'll go
- 12:11Speaker 3: over the teams that are here today. What does tomorrow
- 12:14Speaker 3: look like? Maybe what we're expecting from some of these teams.
- 12:18Speaker 3: I mean, we hadn't even mentioned Shane Biemer. I think
- 12:20Speaker 3: it's a very important year for Shane Biemer will hit
- 12:22Speaker 3: all of that when we come back here on OTB.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Off the bench, all right, go to Russell Pools dot
- 12:30Speaker 3: com of the website for Russell Pool Company. Now you
- 12:34Speaker 3: know they can build your dream pool in your backyard.
- 12:37Speaker 3: That is what they've done since the nineteen sixties in
- 12:39Speaker 3: South Louisiana. That's the obvious. But the thing that we
- 12:42Speaker 3: want to remind you a couple of things actually that
- 12:44Speaker 3: they're going to be there from the very beginning, so
- 12:46Speaker 3: the design, they're going to be there obviously during the build,
- 12:49Speaker 3: but they're going to be there afterwards as well, because
- 12:51Speaker 3: they are the maintenance for your pool, So go to
- 12:53Speaker 3: Russell Pools dot com today. Don't forget they also, Matthew,
- 12:58Speaker 3: if you bought a house and it's got a let's say,
- 13:01Speaker 3: an old kidney shaped pool, but you want to give
- 13:03Speaker 3: it a little pizaz, can they do that?
- 13:05Speaker 2: Yeah, it's called renovations, man. And look, there's a lot,
- 13:08Speaker 2: a lot of not a lot of pool companies that
- 13:10Speaker 2: are experts at the renovation. Yeah. They.
- 13:13Speaker 5: Russell Pools can build you the best custom, brand new
- 13:15Speaker 5: pool out there. But they can also take an existing pool.
- 13:17Speaker 5: If you've bought a house that it already has like

- 13:29Speaker 1: Com Live from the twenty twenty six SEC Football Media
- 13:34Speaker 1: Days in Tampa, presented by FMOL Health, our Lady of
- 13:38Speaker 1: the Lake, Relief, Windows, rev Fiber and Farrish Construction and Roofing.
- 13:58Speaker 3: All right, welcome back again OTV live from Tampa, Florida,
- 14:01Speaker 3: continue our coverage of SEC Media Days. Matthew, you have
- 14:05Speaker 3: done some research about the Russian spy that the Auburn
- 14:08Speaker 3: Tigers hired to be their next head coach to try
- 14:11Speaker 3: to win more than two SEC games per year.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:14Speaker 5: I mean, we're here at SEC media all week long,
- 14:17Speaker 5: So what better time to talk about Russian spies than
- 14:20Speaker 5: right now when I talked about it. You know, you know,
- 14:24Speaker 5: is Russia infiltrating college football? Well, they have a history
- 14:27Speaker 5: of this stuff. I've referred to the Sparrows you did,
- 14:30Speaker 5: which was a female Russian operatives, while the male counterpart
- 14:36Speaker 5: they were called Ravens.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Yep. So the Ravens obviously have already infiltrated the.
- 14:40Speaker 3: You might must stick around for this for your show.
- 14:42Speaker 5: Hold on, So this terminology stems from the KGB's Cold
- 14:45Speaker 5: War era training program. It's like it was called the
- 14:48Speaker 5: State School four, and it specialized in using seduction and
- 14:51Speaker 5: romance to extract secrets from targets, a tactic historically referred
- 14:56Speaker 5: to as sexpionage.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Yep.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Hunt just a quick yesterday, did you know Alex Golish
- 15:01Speaker 3: lived in Moscow, Russia until he was seven? Okay, see
- 15:05Speaker 3: lead to your show.
- 15:06Speaker 2: You're welcome.
- 15:06Speaker 3: There you go, You're welcome. Tune in at one o'clock
- 15:10Speaker 3: for the Hump Palmer Show. He's going to tell you
- 15:12Speaker 3: about red Sparrows and Alex Golish. Absolutely, I think he's
- 15:17Speaker 3: really gonna talk about it for sure.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Yeah, we like.
- 15:22Speaker 5: Actually, I'm hoping we don't get a knock at our
- 15:24Speaker 5: door at the hotel because don't answer. We're on to
- 15:28Speaker 5: the college football espionage.
- 15:32Speaker 2: All right.
- 15:33Speaker 3: I'm gonna say something or kind of ask something, and
- 15:36Speaker 3: it's probably gonna sound outlandish at first, but you asked
- 15:40Speaker 3: about Vanderbilt, like do we like them being good?
- 15:43Speaker 2: All right?
- 15:43Speaker 3: That was your question. I was like, this is Vanderbilt, like,
- 15:45Speaker 3: I don't I don't mind it, like they've gone through enough.
- 15:50Speaker 3: Is Auburn being down bad for the SEC? Because I
- 15:54Speaker 3: think it is.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Yes, Okay, Auburn being good is good for the SEC.
- 15:58Speaker 3: I think so as well, because that's a traditions talk.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Well no, no, no part you know part of it. Yes,
- 16:04Speaker 3: but they care deeply about it. They've got great tradition.
- 16:09Speaker 3: They've got an incredible stadium environment. Like I don't care
- 16:13Speaker 3: how bad. I don't know if you hate Alburn listening
- 16:15Speaker 3: out there, Jorden here is rocking at eleven am, at
- 16:19Speaker 3: two thirty, at six thirty, at seven thirty. It doesn't matter.
- 16:23Speaker 3: It's an incredible place to play, and they show up.
- 16:26Speaker 3: It just is I think the SEC is much better
- 16:29Speaker 3: when Auburn's relevant. Uh.
- 16:31Speaker 2: They it's absolutely like all the.
- 16:35Speaker 5: And they answered like to answer the question of why
- 16:39Speaker 5: though you just gave like the like the physical reasons,
- 16:42Speaker 5: like the stadium's great, great fan base, but like at
- 16:44Speaker 5: the heart like they are they are a core foundation
- 16:48Speaker 5: of the SEC. As everything grows, as the SEC grows,
- 16:51Speaker 5: and you know, new teams have come in, like there's
- 16:53Speaker 5: a there's a core group, right and they are part
- 16:55Speaker 5: of that core group. So yes, they the SEC is
- 16:58Speaker 5: absolutely better. Like as much as it pains me to say,
- 17:01Speaker 5: I think the same thing about Florida. I hate Florida.
- 17:05Speaker 5: I can't stand them. I don't like anybody that goes there.
- 17:08Speaker 5: And when I think about it, my skin crawls. But
- 17:12Speaker 5: I want them to be relevant. I want them to
- 17:15Speaker 5: be good at football.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Now.
- 17:16Speaker 5: I don't want them to be great, Hell no, I don't,
- 17:19Speaker 5: but do I want them to be good, just like
- 17:21Speaker 5: I want Auburn to be good.
- 17:22Speaker 2: I mean, the the Auburn Alabama game.
- 17:27Speaker 5: Who as LSU fans, it's still an awesome game to watch, right,
- 17:30Speaker 5: and just you want those teams, that core group of
- 17:33Speaker 5: SEC teams to always be good, always be relevant. Now
- 17:36Speaker 5: will they remains to be seen at some point, yeah,
- 17:40Speaker 5: they will at some point will go to be the
- 17:43Speaker 5: coach to turn them around. I don't know, we will see,
- 17:47Speaker 5: but they certainly cannot stay on the track that they
- 17:50Speaker 5: are and won in two point two games in the
- 17:52Speaker 5: SEC per year.
- 17:53Speaker 3: Just didn't even feel like right, Like doesn't even feel like.
- 17:55Speaker 3: There's your stickers from Baton Rouge. But that's what Baton
- 17:58Speaker 3: Rouge handed out, like taste of the SEC. This is
- 18:04Speaker 3: South Carolina. Gave sunglasses. Somebody gave popcorn.
- 18:07Speaker 2: That's what represents us.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Another person gave some like granola, and that that's.
- 18:13Speaker 6: What Batanage gave us. Boy Yeah, like come on man, though,
- 18:18Speaker 6: no give out begnet. It's like our culture is too
- 18:20Speaker 6: good for what are we doing give out some of
- 18:23Speaker 6: my higher.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Everyone's like, oh yeah, bad race sweet Yeah stickers, man,
- 18:30Speaker 2: I put them on the back of their laptop.
- 18:33Speaker 3: People do that does Actually I did have one that
- 18:36Speaker 3: Harlowe put on them on forever ago. It fell off
- 18:39Speaker 3: respect it was like frozen or something of that nature.
- 18:43Speaker 3: But it fell off right that I don't know what
- 18:45Speaker 3: happened to us, probably hold backpack, but let it so
- 18:50Speaker 3: you'll appreciate this, and I'll make it quick because I
- 18:53Speaker 3: know our listeners don't share our same passion for sports cards.
- 18:57Speaker 3: I bought her uh Disney else okay, and Anna cards
- 19:02Speaker 3: and she she knows Dad does cards like and she's
- 19:05Speaker 3: to come to my office and i'd actually give her
- 19:07Speaker 3: a card of like myself and she like with my
- 19:09Speaker 3: helmet off, and she loved that. But then I got older,
- 19:11Speaker 3: You're like, Dad, you suck, like, get out here. I
- 19:12Speaker 3: don't all need that. So I got her like Elsa
- 19:17Speaker 3: and aunt like loves it, like she thinks like these
- 19:19Speaker 3: are like I got cards like that and these are mine.
- 19:22Speaker 2: That's cool. Yeah, doing what dad does, but it's all
- 19:26Speaker 2: Elsa than them.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure, much cooler than what Dad does. Getting
- 19:30Speaker 3: a I.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Mean frozen underrated as a human male adult.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not a it's not a it's not a
- 19:37Speaker 3: Theo Johnson Purple shock, but what is a.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Very rewatchable movie. Yeah, you're gonna have to rewatch it.
- 19:43Speaker 3: Yeah no, yeah, we've already gone through. I think we've
- 19:46Speaker 3: already gone through some of that process whe her, So
- 19:48Speaker 3: we've already gone through the frozen era. Speaking of a
- 19:52Speaker 3: frozen Shane Biemer in South Carolina kind of been frozen
- 19:56Speaker 3: last year. It was not a great year for them.
- 19:59Speaker 3: We talked a lot about their quarterback, we talked about
- 20:01Speaker 3: their receiver.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Here.
- 20:02Speaker 3: I love Shane Biemer. I want to get that out there.
- 20:04Speaker 3: I'm probably going to be a little biased in this conversation,
- 20:07Speaker 3: but it feels like a massive year for Shane Biemer.
- 20:10Speaker 3: I think he's got to win. I think Shane knows that.
- 20:13Speaker 3: I think Shane's a good football coach, I really do.
- 20:15Speaker 3: I think there's some roster limitations they have in South Carolina,
- 20:18Speaker 3: I like Marler pointed out, but this feels like it's
- 20:22Speaker 3: a big year for shit.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Shane Biemer on the hottest seat in the SEC.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Well, so you have so many new head coaches, Yeah,
- 20:29Speaker 3: maybe maybe it's Shane Beemer. Because let's go through the list,
- 20:34Speaker 3: Like Will Sein new Eli Drinkwiz just signed a new deal,
- 20:36Speaker 3: not going anywhere, Bren Vinnimle's new deal not going anywhere.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Josh Heipel's got some pressure, but he just made a
- 20:42Speaker 3: Coros football playoff a couple of years ago. I think
- 20:44Speaker 3: Josh is going to be fine, Alice Goulish New Kirby, No,
- 20:47Speaker 3: he's knighted. He's not going anywhere. Shane Beemer, that's a
- 20:51Speaker 3: guy we're talking about. Maybe, so Clark Lee not going
- 20:54Speaker 3: in anywhere. Klen de Bor, it's always interesting because he's
- 20:57Speaker 3: not Nick Saban. They made the playoff though, so we'll
- 20:59Speaker 3: see what that situation looks like. John Summral New, Pete
- 21:03Speaker 3: Golding New, Mike Elko not going anywhere, Ryan Silverfield. They'll
- 21:07Speaker 3: give him four years to fail before they move on
- 21:09Speaker 3: from him. Lane's not going anywhere. Jeff Levey, I don't.
- 21:13Speaker 3: I don't think. I don't think Jeff's gonna be true.
- 21:16Speaker 3: This is year three for Jeff Levy. Then Sark's not
- 21:20Speaker 3: going anywhere, So I mean Shane might be the answer now,
- 21:23Speaker 3: like they would have to.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Look really bad. I feel like for them, they would
- 21:26Speaker 2: have to look for de.
- 21:26Speaker 3: Boor yeah, yeah, and ye for both and then like Pete,
- 21:30Speaker 3: Like I don't I don't think Pete Golding would fall
- 21:32Speaker 3: into like a Will R. Nett. Hey, we're gonna give
- 21:34Speaker 3: you one year. Oh my god, that was disastrous, and
- 21:36Speaker 3: they move on from him after one year. I don't
- 21:39Speaker 3: think that. But since Pete doesn't have a any kind
- 21:42Speaker 3: of head coaching resume to fall back on. We've seen
- 21:45Speaker 3: wilder things happen, so maybe that's a situation there. But
- 21:49Speaker 3: I don't think it's going to happen anyways. But I
- 21:52Speaker 3: think the answer is going to be Shane because everybody
- 21:54Speaker 3: else is new, or they got a new deal, or
- 21:56Speaker 3: they built enough equity up where it's not this year,
- 21:58Speaker 3: maybe it's the next year. But Shane's got to win.
- 22:01Speaker 3: I mean, they love football in that place, that place.
- 22:04Speaker 5: We talked about like how over hyped Leonoris Sellers is
- 22:08Speaker 5: because he's got the talent, He's got this everybody loves him.
- 22:10Speaker 5: He played one good half of football that can work
- 22:14Speaker 5: against Shane Beemer. That can if they do not produce
- 22:19Speaker 5: as good as as much as people over hype Leonoris,
- 22:22Speaker 5: it's going to hurt Shane Beemer as a coach.
- 22:26Speaker 2: If they can't perform with him, they're.
- 22:27Speaker 5: Gonna be you know, the public will be like, Okay,
- 22:30Speaker 5: you had three years with Lenoris and you couldn't get
- 22:33Speaker 5: it done. That's the most talented quarterback we've had come
- 22:35Speaker 5: through these doors possibly ever. Yeah, and you couldn't win
- 22:40Speaker 5: with him, So your time's done. I think I think
- 22:42Speaker 5: by far, Shane Biemer has the hotest seat in the
- 22:44Speaker 5: SEC for those reasons. And look, I don't think he's
- 22:47Speaker 5: got a I mean, you can't.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Like my high school coach used to tell us, you
- 22:50Speaker 2: can't win the Kentucky Derby with munch of jackasses. So
- 22:53Speaker 2: I don't know if he's got.
- 22:54Speaker 3: The top to down roster to do that's a good line.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Can't win the derby with the jackass?
- 23:00Speaker 3: Can I still that? No? Okay, I'll sight my source. Okay,
- 23:05Speaker 3: then yes the first time, then it's fine. Yeah, I
- 23:09Speaker 3: mean I think Shane again, like if we went back
- 23:11Speaker 3: to it, Josh Hypel needs to you know, I think
- 23:15Speaker 3: shows something this year. But again he's got some equity
- 23:17Speaker 3: built up. Shane did have some, but I think he
- 23:20Speaker 3: lost that last year. I can't see another situation. You know,
- 23:24Speaker 3: Jeff Levy probably needs to do something this year at
- 23:27Speaker 3: Mississippi State, but still even that, I don't think he's
- 23:29Speaker 3: in any kind of danger of losing his job. And
- 23:32Speaker 3: so I think it is Shane.
- 23:34Speaker 5: Again, like to the if you have what people consider
- 23:37Speaker 5: a generational talent quarterback and you can't win.
- 23:39Speaker 3: With him, they're gonna ask the question.
- 23:41Speaker 5: If not, then when the questions start to get asked
- 23:44Speaker 5: and you lose whatever equity you built up with in
- 23:47Speaker 5: the Spencer Rattler area. Oh rat that Marler still a
- 23:51Speaker 5: choose Lenoris over rap as I call him Spence.
- 23:56Speaker 3: He did Collin Spence and then he lost his starting job.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Ye Ill bad hey, sorry.
- 24:04Speaker 3: Before before Shane got there, real quick, before we closed
- 24:08Speaker 3: the book, it was like Steve Spurrier won eleven games
- 24:12Speaker 3: three years in a row. South Carolina literally never done
- 24:16Speaker 3: anything close to that before, so he did set the
- 24:18Speaker 3: bar high right. Well, then must Champ takes over in
- 24:23Speaker 3: twenty sixteen, six and seven, nine and four, seven and six,
- 24:27Speaker 3: four and eight, two and eight, all right, So that
- 24:30Speaker 3: was Will's record at South Carolina, and then Shane comes in.
- 24:33Speaker 3: It's seven and six, eight and five. Then he had
- 24:36Speaker 3: the five and seven year and twenty twenty three and
- 24:38Speaker 3: everybody started asking questions. But then remember he had the
- 24:41Speaker 3: nine and three regular season where they ended the year
- 24:43Speaker 3: as hot as anybody in the country.
- 24:45Speaker 2: They beaton and Tennessee, right they.
- 24:47Speaker 3: Did, and then they lost that bowl game Illinois, I believe,
- 24:51Speaker 3: is who they lost to in that Citrus Bowl. So
- 24:53Speaker 3: they go nine and four, but still that that built
- 24:56Speaker 3: him up some equity, and then they went one in
- 24:58Speaker 3: seven in the league last y year. So overall his record,
- 25:02Speaker 3: he's only had a winning record in the SEC in
- 25:05Speaker 3: twenty twenty four, that one year time. That's why I
- 25:11Speaker 3: think that clock's running out.
- 25:12Speaker 5: That's why you give the history of South Carolina like
- 25:14Speaker 5: they just have not been even coach and his last
- 25:17Speaker 5: year went three and yeah, they.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Haven't been elite in the SEC. Yeah, you know consistently.
- 25:22Speaker 5: Ever, maybe they had the one, but they heat Shane
- 25:25Speaker 5: had that one year and with mister Ratler, and they
- 25:29Speaker 5: did really well and they upset some teams that one
- 25:31Speaker 5: games they shouldn't have, and they looked like they were
- 25:33Speaker 5: on this path, this trajectory that was going to make
- 25:35Speaker 5: them consistent. Because all of a sudden, you have that season. Yeah,
- 25:39Speaker 5: and then you get this quarterback that you're like, my god,
- 25:41Speaker 5: this guy was touched by an angel.
- 25:43Speaker 2: God spent a little bit more time on this one.
- 25:48Speaker 5: Yeah, and then after that, you can't win with them,
- 25:51Speaker 5: So I said, I mean, Shane was like probably really
- 25:55Speaker 5: excited he got Lenoris, but Lenoris could could be the
- 25:59Speaker 5: downfall with them.
- 26:01Speaker 3: That's a that's a great point actually, like, are you
- 26:04Speaker 3: levitating over this conversation?
- 26:06Speaker 2: Actually watching myself talk such.
- 26:08Speaker 3: A good point. I'm stealing that too a little bit
- 26:11Speaker 3: later on. I'll take my work on that one though,
- 26:13Speaker 3: all right, Like, hey, Flynn was talking quarterbacks because then
- 26:15Speaker 3: he gives me some cred Yeah, because like you're a quarterback.
- 26:17Speaker 3: I was talking about quarterbacks. He actually makes a lot
- 26:20Speaker 3: of sense because he's like, hey, you know their don't
- 26:22Speaker 3: fall be that. He's got such a good player.
- 26:23Speaker 2: I think he was wearing sunglasses at the time because these.
- 26:26Speaker 3: Backwards had all right, we're gonna step away.
- 26:31Speaker 5: We kind of poop pooed on south Man big We
- 26:35Speaker 5: didn't even plan this big time, just roll off.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Yeah, well, probably because of Marlo.
- 26:38Speaker 3: It was Marlar looking at the cock signal a little
- 26:40Speaker 3: bit earlier in the show.
- 26:42Speaker 2: I got it.
- 26:42Speaker 5: Marler's right there with come put my glasses on, so
- 26:44Speaker 5: he knows he's not getting them back.
- 26:46Speaker 3: Dude, dude, not let him, big dog. You can get
- 26:48Speaker 3: those glasses back, No chance, I shot.
- 26:50Speaker 2: He to me, he's a gift.
- 26:51Speaker 3: All right, we'll take a break more ot B when

- 29:23Speaker 2: Sorry?
- 29:43Speaker 3: All right, welcome back in O t B here live
- 29:47Speaker 3: from Tampa, Florida. Shout our guy, Billy, what's up? Sorry?
- 29:53Speaker 3: I ran into the commission talking to Commissioner Sankie. He
- 29:57Speaker 3: didn't want to talk SEC. Yeah, hey, you're on the NFL. Now,
- 30:02Speaker 3: how the bill's gonna be? So I'm sitting down. I
- 30:06Speaker 3: was like, look, I know, mass probably like panic in
- 30:08Speaker 3: a little bit. I was like, by the Commissioner of
- 30:09Speaker 3: the SEC is asking me how the bills are going
- 30:11Speaker 3: to be? So I got to break it down good.
- 30:15Speaker 3: I mean, Joe Brady's their head coach. They had the
- 30:18Speaker 3: leading rusher in the NFL and James Cook last year.
- 30:20Speaker 3: Josh Allen's a unicorn, an alien, whatever you want to
- 30:22Speaker 3: call him. Jimmy Leonard a teammate of both of ours.
- 30:26Speaker 3: You found that out on air one day. He's the
- 30:29Speaker 3: defensive coordinator. Now love Jim Leonard. They got a new
- 30:33Speaker 3: stadium in Buffalo too, that's open. It's gonna be this roof, right,
- 30:37Speaker 3: no roof. I believe they have like a retractable situation.
- 30:42Speaker 3: If I'm not mistaken either way, it's gonna be better. Look,
- 30:44Speaker 3: I love like the Bill's Mafia, but I played a
- 30:48Speaker 3: game there once where the power went out on the
- 30:50Speaker 3: field and they had to like do the clock in
- 30:52Speaker 3: the NFL game on their watch on the field and
- 30:55Speaker 3: there was no helmet.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Colm.
- 30:56Speaker 3: So Norm's like, hey, Jack Wright, scat right ninety nine?
- 31:01Speaker 3: Stop f cross. It's like, coach, they hurt you because
- 31:05Speaker 3: we didn't have signals, because yeah.
- 31:06Speaker 2: They don't know what that means. But we had to help.
- 31:08Speaker 2: A couple of people are dumb though.
- 31:09Speaker 3: It's true.
- 31:10Speaker 5: You could say the play out loud. That's true, very
- 31:12Speaker 5: very few smart ones. U.
- 31:14Speaker 3: I got disc gap or that gap coach, the A
- 31:17Speaker 3: gap or the big gap. So that's my Bobby Carpenter impersonation.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Okay, I'll hit the.
- 31:23Speaker 3: Go a gup or big gap coach.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Do we have some dead air for apparently we forgot
- 31:30Speaker 2: we were back.
- 31:31Speaker 3: No, So when I came back and I knew I
- 31:33Speaker 3: was talking into the commissioner for like a good sixty
- 31:37Speaker 3: seconds and I saw you talking to Looch, I was like, oh,
- 31:40Speaker 3: there's probably a lunge of probably like hey, dumb dumbs,
- 31:43Speaker 3: we're back. Ah, yeah it's me.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Actually that's on Leachen. It's not me.
- 31:50Speaker 3: Yeah, you're not gonna talk.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Oh you text me we're back, three dumbs.
- 31:54Speaker 3: See. I saw it on my watch and I was
- 31:55Speaker 3: trying to like power walk after I saw our text
- 31:57Speaker 3: on the watch to me because like that means Flynn
- 31:59Speaker 3: is not telling the people about, you know, one of
- 32:01Speaker 3: the great companies. I was like, maybe someone about Rouses,
- 32:05Speaker 3: cause I'll tell you about it right now. Go to
- 32:06Speaker 3: Rouses dot com. Russia dot com is a website. You're

- 32:56Speaker 3: we're back. We're back in all caps. We're back.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Yep. Now that's not my fault. I shouldn't trust me.
- 33:04Speaker 3: I can't leave me here, I thought, But I look,
- 33:06Speaker 3: I knew what we had as far as reads, and
- 33:10Speaker 3: I was like, okay, I know he can do Rouses.
- 33:12Speaker 3: His product is in Rouses. And again like, if the
- 33:16Speaker 3: Commissioner of the SEC is asking you how the Buffalo
- 33:19Speaker 3: bills are going to be, I had to answer them.
- 33:23Speaker 5: Well, Billy came up and talk to us and he
- 33:25Speaker 5: was talking about your guy chatty guy, oh.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Chatty at the end of the table.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Yeah, so I had to listen to that, you know that, Yeah,
- 33:32Speaker 2: you get what do you say? Nothing?
- 33:35Speaker 3: Nothing, just more of what we heard last night, more
- 33:39Speaker 3: of it. Godly, that was an experience and not like
- 33:44Speaker 3: a medieval times dinner experience, like a bad one.
- 33:47Speaker 5: Yeah, Sometimes meeting new people is great. Sometimes it's not. Yea,
- 33:52Speaker 5: I'll understand. Sometimes it's terrible.
- 33:55Speaker 3: Sometimes it's gonna.
- 33:58Speaker 2: Makes you appreciate the good ones.
- 34:00Speaker 3: Sure, that's a good point, look at the bright side
- 34:02Speaker 3: of it.
- 34:02Speaker 2: But there's a greater good. There's a greater evil. All right.
- 34:06Speaker 3: So Auburn, Georgia, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, those are the teams
- 34:10Speaker 3: here today we've talked about all of them. Probably spent
- 34:13Speaker 3: the least amount of time on Georgia. And that's not
- 34:16Speaker 3: like because it's kind of boring, right, It's just they're good.
- 34:20Speaker 3: It's Georgia, it's Kirby. They're gonna be good, they're gonna
- 34:24Speaker 3: win a lot of games. They're probably gonna have a
- 34:26Speaker 3: chance to play for the SEC Championship.
- 34:28Speaker 5: Would you say, I would say the least interesting team
- 34:30Speaker 5: at SEC media, I would say because they're just good
- 34:35Speaker 5: and they're consistent, and.
- 34:38Speaker 2: That's it.
- 34:38Speaker 5: That's all you can say it about it, like what
- 34:40Speaker 5: do you ask them? Like, what do you Yeah, you know,
- 34:42Speaker 5: how's it feel? You're pretty much guaranteed to have double
- 34:45Speaker 5: digit wins again, You're gonna be in the playoff.
- 34:47Speaker 3: Yeah, there's gonna be like, there's gonna be one game
- 34:49Speaker 3: in the season that's going to kind of tell all
- 34:52Speaker 3: you're gonna be like a national champion or just like
- 34:54Speaker 3: a quarterfinals.
- 34:55Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean you'll be, you know, a couple of
- 34:57Speaker 5: player away from either going to the national championship or not.
- 34:59Speaker 2: So, I mean it's kind of boring. I'm with you.
- 35:04Speaker 3: And look, if any person in this building won't it
- 35:08Speaker 3: that way, it's Kirby.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Oh for sure.
- 35:10Speaker 3: That's Kirby loves that. He loves that. That's the that's
- 35:14Speaker 3: the the facts about his team right now.
- 35:16Speaker 2: Yeah, there's no there's no quarterback competition. You got a
- 35:19Speaker 2: good quarterback.
- 35:20Speaker 5: There's no hot seat to talk about, there's no are
- 35:23Speaker 5: they going to be able to fix this situation? No drama,
- 35:28Speaker 5: And that's like, that is the epitome and that is
- 35:31Speaker 5: the goal for every program. As LSU fans, you need
- 35:35Speaker 5: to hope that LSU is going to be boring at media.
- 35:38Speaker 3: Day and their team is their team. What do I
- 35:41Speaker 3: mean by that? They're gonna have one transfer on offense
- 35:44Speaker 3: be a starter, and they're going to have two transfers
- 35:46Speaker 3: on defense be a starter. Everyone else started their career
- 35:50Speaker 3: at Georgia. That's pretty remarkable in today's that's incredible college football.
- 35:55Speaker 2: In this world that we live in.
- 35:57Speaker 5: You go look at anybody else's roster and then country
- 36:00Speaker 5: and you were going to see way more new faces
- 36:04Speaker 5: on offense and the defense.
- 36:05Speaker 2: So what they're been able to do to sustain is
- 36:09Speaker 2: pretty remarkable.
- 36:10Speaker 5: Like any sport of college football, to be able to
- 36:12Speaker 5: sustain year and year out is incredible just because the
- 36:16Speaker 5: turnover that you're going to have.
- 36:19Speaker 3: Yeah it is. It's only Georgia really that's able because
- 36:25Speaker 3: teams are trying to do it like that, like a
- 36:27Speaker 3: Clemson for instance, but they don't have the Jimmis and
- 36:30Speaker 3: Joe's right, like, they try to do it like that.
- 36:33Speaker 3: But the thing is Kirby still gets to the Jimmies
- 36:35Speaker 3: and Joe's and look, he'll supplement his roster with a
- 36:37Speaker 3: transfer if he needs to. Like Zacharia Branch last year
- 36:40Speaker 3: that was their leading receiver. Zacharia Branch came in, played well,
- 36:44Speaker 3: got drafted, but it was like that one player is
- 36:47Speaker 3: what they needed. They don't do a lot of wholesale
- 36:50Speaker 3: changes there. They trust their high school recruiting. They develop
- 36:53Speaker 3: their players still, and when you have success like they're having,
- 36:57Speaker 3: you can do that, players will stick around a little
- 36:59Speaker 3: bit longer. You know, you can convince a guy to
- 37:02Speaker 3: be a red shirt junior and be a starter for
- 37:04Speaker 3: the first time.
- 37:05Speaker 5: Yea, how do you think your guy did interviewing? Gunnar
- 37:10Speaker 5: stalked him by himself.
- 37:11Speaker 3: I think he's got sweaty palms still.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Do you think a lat was it six minutes? Seven minutes?
- 37:16Speaker 5: They probably thought in his brain he's got enough, he's
- 37:18Speaker 5: got enough questions.
- 37:20Speaker 2: Yeah, in the chamber for an hour.
- 37:23Speaker 3: So you know, I don't like we were pretty full
- 37:27Speaker 3: of disclosure here. So I got a text from somebody said,
- 37:31Speaker 3: you know, hey, this is this is the true test,
- 37:33Speaker 3: Like you're getting Gunner one on one again. Incredible leader,
- 37:38Speaker 3: but just not somebody's going to give you a lot
- 37:39Speaker 3: in an interview. And you know, so I wrote back,
- 37:42Speaker 3: I said, look, no matter how it goes, he has
- 37:45Speaker 3: to know that Barbara Walters couldn't get information out of
- 37:48Speaker 3: that guy. You know what I mean? And like that's
- 37:52Speaker 3: what Barbara did for for a living, and it was
- 37:54Speaker 3: really good at it, you know what I mean. So
- 37:56Speaker 3: it ain't you, it's him, so probably not great, yes,
- 37:59Speaker 3: sweat probably not. It was probably you when we were interviewing,
- 38:04Speaker 3: interviewing Cole Payte and singing bowl.
- 38:05Speaker 5: Yeah for sure, little finger point you're up pal So yeah,
- 38:14Speaker 5: kind of I played that on air.
- 38:17Speaker 2: I saw y'all sent it in the group chat.
- 38:19Speaker 5: I didn't even watch it, so I didn't want to
- 38:20Speaker 5: get secondhand embarrassment.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Yea, we did. Was it as cringe as we all remember?
- 38:28Speaker 2: Or is it better? It's probably better?
- 38:29Speaker 3: Do you want me to answer that?
- 38:31Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 38:31Speaker 3: Of course it was glorious. It was everything I I
- 38:35Speaker 3: remembered in the moment.
- 38:37Speaker 2: I wasn't even embarrassed during it. That's the thing, you
- 38:41Speaker 2: know what. My palms get more sweaty when.
- 38:45Speaker 5: We come back from break and you're not here, and
- 38:48Speaker 5: like I hadn't you know, usually when I host a show,
- 38:50Speaker 5: like when you're not here, like I'll put topics throughout
- 38:54Speaker 5: the day so I can look down.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Okay, let's just go to this.
- 38:57Speaker 5: We I talked about it like when I don't know
- 38:59Speaker 5: you're going to be back on. I'm like, oh god,
- 39:00Speaker 5: what like we're gonna speak?
- 39:03Speaker 3: How long is he gonna be one?
- 39:04Speaker 5: This is just gonna be dead air for a little bit.
- 39:06Speaker 5: I'm like, all right, well, who are going to bes with?
- 39:09Speaker 3: And that's when Alondra writes back, We're back back.
- 39:12Speaker 2: So that was actually that was just forgetful because Billy
- 39:14Speaker 2: was talking. Okay, I didn't do it on purpose.
- 39:19Speaker 3: When's Billy Bill?
- 39:21Speaker 2: Billy?
- 39:22Speaker 3: You said that when you talk to Texas A and
- 39:23Speaker 3: M with him tomorrow, he's gonna be busy tomorrow.
- 39:28Speaker 2: So what everybody's gonna be busy?
- 39:30Speaker 3: I feel you. We do get anybody to day by tomorrow.
- 39:34Speaker 5: Alabama, Florida, Ole, Miss and Texas A and M Toor
- 39:39Speaker 5: is going to be an exciting day.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Tomorrow will be.
- 39:42Speaker 3: Tomorrow's a good group.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Tomor is a good group. I think we heard that
- 39:47Speaker 2: coach Pete Golding.
- 39:48Speaker 5: I don't think Rivers just said that they're not going
- 39:51Speaker 5: to bring their players through Radio Row.
- 39:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:54Speaker 3: I don't think anybody's going to be coming through here,
- 39:57Speaker 3: which is I.
- 39:57Speaker 5: Wonder if that's because they're anticipating the questions they would
- 40:00Speaker 5: get it. I doesn't want to protect he wants to
- 40:02Speaker 5: protect his guys.
- 40:03Speaker 3: Right, I have to protect yes, So, but like, hey,
- 40:06Speaker 3: that's why we're all here, that's why we came from
- 40:09Speaker 3: across the southeast to be here.
- 40:11Speaker 2: Sorry, but take your sensitivity somewhere else if you.
- 40:14Speaker 3: Like, that's why you select, like the guys that you
- 40:17Speaker 3: think can handle that, right, go.
- 40:18Speaker 2: To Conference USA. That's what Notre Dame does. They're so
- 40:21Speaker 2: sensitive they don't want this type of heat.
- 40:23Speaker 3: Yeah, so that hopefully, hopefully that's just like something that
- 40:26Speaker 3: got started. It's not true, but if it is, like
- 40:29Speaker 3: we got to we we got to go after him
- 40:31Speaker 3: a little bit.
- 40:31Speaker 2: They're a little overly sensitive. They don't want hard questions.
- 40:34Speaker 3: I mean, I think they're ex coach Like Eli Shoot's
- 40:37Speaker 3: bringing TJ daughter. He's going to face way tougher questions
- 40:41Speaker 3: I think than anybody else here, any player, any school. Yeah,
- 40:46Speaker 3: because he left Old Miss to go to l s U.
- 40:49Speaker 2: Yeah, he'll face way harder questions than the Old Miss players, no.
- 40:52Speaker 3: Doubt about it, more than anybody.
- 40:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:55Speaker 3: So I hope that's not true. I hope that's just
- 40:57Speaker 3: a bad rumor, and I hope they come through here
- 40:59Speaker 3: and look, we're probably I'm not going to talk to
- 41:00Speaker 3: him but I hope somebody does.
- 41:01Speaker 2: Because I have Trinidad Kawan Lacey and Will.
- 41:07Speaker 3: Ecles Eckles, yep, Eckles, Yeah, Kewan Lacey, Will Echles and Trinidad.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Champlsh put your quarterback through there.
- 41:13Speaker 3: Yeah, you need to come Fred, He's good, he's polished.
- 41:15Speaker 3: I've had these good all right, h We are going
- 41:19Speaker 3: to step away one final time before we do, and

- 42:16Speaker 1: and Roofing.
- 42:23Speaker 3: All right, welcome back in oh TV. Here one final
- 42:26Speaker 3: segment Tuesday, here at Media Days in Tampa, Florida. We'll
- 42:32Speaker 3: ask the bench to wrap up today's show. Let's see
- 42:37Speaker 3: you got a ton of them coming in day, nice
- 42:38Speaker 3: chick drinkto Sekis. You can't read that it's inappropriate. Uh,
- 42:45Speaker 3: you can only pick one to eat the rest of
- 42:48Speaker 3: your life, which is a tacos? Enchiladas? Are Tomali's only one?
- 42:53Speaker 2: Taucus?
- 42:54Speaker 3: I mean tacos feels like the answer. But god, I
- 42:56Speaker 3: love Ancelada's and Tomali's.
- 42:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I love them all.
- 43:01Speaker 5: If you had to maybe choose cuisines, it'd be hard
- 43:04Speaker 5: to pick anything over Mexican food.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Yeah, like taco for sure. It's just so versatile.
- 43:09Speaker 3: Mexican's definitely the answer. Ask the bench. Is there a
- 43:13Speaker 3: press buffet or you guys just roll with the per
- 43:15Speaker 3: diem Funny you think we get per diem That is
- 43:18Speaker 3: actually hilarious. We don't get anything close to per diem.
- 43:23Speaker 3: That's not in the budget. The press buffet yesterday was
- 43:27Speaker 3: not great, but luckily for me, not for Matt. Our
- 43:31Speaker 3: team at Serious XM always orders lunch.
- 43:33Speaker 2: Nice.
- 43:34Speaker 5: Yeah, the press buffet grilled chicken breast. Hard to do
- 43:39Speaker 5: chicken breast on a buffet. People get dry.
- 43:41Speaker 3: They grilled them for a long time. There's not an
- 43:43Speaker 3: ounce of liquid in that chicken breast.
- 43:45Speaker 2: No, it is a choking hazard.
- 43:48Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you gotta have two bottles of water to
- 43:51Speaker 3: get a bite down. Ask the bench. Favorite type of
- 43:54Speaker 3: buffet Chinese, Mexican, raise a Flag, Yeah, you know about it.
- 44:04Speaker 3: Let's find out raise a flag Chinese. Yeah it's Chinese
- 44:08Speaker 3: for sure. But tell me ponchos didn't slap Oh hash
- 44:11Speaker 3: that guess a bitch.
- 44:11Speaker 2: What room service y'all smashing tonight?
- 44:14Speaker 3: I haven't had any yet, but my favorite room service
- 44:17Speaker 3: is always a club sandwich, French fries, and a die coke.
- 44:20Speaker 5: Somebody said in the chat French onion soup goes pretty
- 44:24Speaker 5: hard on room service. I don't ever eat French onion soup,
- 44:28Speaker 5: but I have ordered it multiple times and I will
- 44:32Speaker 5: I agree.
- 44:33Speaker 3: It's kind of weird, Okay, It's kind of.
- 44:35Speaker 2: Like ginger ale on a plane, Like you never get
- 44:37Speaker 2: it unless you're on a plane. But you know, for whatever,
- 44:41Speaker 2: a lot of a lot of room service has it.
- 44:44Speaker 3: Hashtag least favorite media member that list is, I don't know.
- 44:49Speaker 3: I mean I got a list, I don't know. I
- 44:50Speaker 3: don't know if I wouldn't even I don't care putting
- 44:53Speaker 3: it out there.
- 44:53Speaker 2: I just i'll know.
- 44:54Speaker 3: I don't know who'd be a top of that list,
- 44:56Speaker 3: you know what I mean.
- 44:57Speaker 2: I mean, that's not a thing you really want to
- 44:58Speaker 2: put out there, but I care.
- 45:01Speaker 3: Look, that's DJ Shockley. He beat the hell out of
- 45:03Speaker 3: us in the SEC Championship game one year. I just
- 45:06Speaker 3: wrapped him up. Not a big deal. He's a good
- 45:11Speaker 3: dude though.
- 45:12Speaker 2: He's a good dude.
- 45:13Speaker 3: Thanks, Yeah, you'd like him.
- 45:14Speaker 2: Why I like that? Which was a bad dude?
- 45:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I know, I didn't like what it did to us,
- 45:18Speaker 3: and five we didn't have a bye week. DJ.
- 45:20Speaker 5: It's always like your your sports rival. It's always depressing
- 45:23Speaker 5: when you find out they're good people.
- 45:24Speaker 3: Yeah, it's always pretty like when you find out that
- 45:28Speaker 3: like they're turds. You're like, I knew it.
- 45:30Speaker 2: I knew it.
- 45:30Speaker 3: I knew it the whole the whole time. You're you're
- 45:32Speaker 3: not a turd. They're great, and we love you and
- 45:34Speaker 3: we thank you. Go America and we'll see tomorrow. Off
- 45:37Speaker 3: the bench, all right, go see our friends over atward.
