- 1:05Speaker 2: let's grow the Treehouse Show. Before we jump into a
- 1:11Speaker 2: fun movie life question I have for you two, I
- 1:14Speaker 2: want to point out that since you are both Longhorns,
- 1:18Speaker 2: Rebecca you've got your longhorn lid on and Trey has
- 1:21Speaker 2: his Longhorn halo above his noggin on the wall behind him.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Yesterday's show, we talked about the time when Trey road
- 1:30Speaker 2: tripped as a Longhorn fan to Buckeye Land. Trey went
- 1:34Speaker 2: to Ohio State to watch the Longhorns play, and it
- 1:39Speaker 2: was not a fun experience for Trey dealing with the
- 1:42Speaker 2: Ohio State fan. Texas won the game. That was good, Yeah, fans,
- 1:47Speaker 2: that was the magic here. But was that six oh
- 1:52Speaker 2: five oh five? That was the that was the national.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Title championship year? Yeah, than's young man.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Rebecca. Have you ever been to Buckeye Stadium?
- 2:03Speaker 4: I have not.
- 2:04Speaker 3: I have heard nothing but bad things, though, and I
- 2:06Speaker 3: think Trey is one of the most that I've heard
- 2:09Speaker 3: it from.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I mean, like even I mean, it's so bad there.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I mean we because I think the of course you say,
- 2:22Speaker 1: see it's like one hundred thousand people, but you know
- 2:26Speaker 1: they stick the visitors in one end and you're even
- 2:29Speaker 1: looking at the cops going, hey, can you help us out?
- 2:32Speaker 1: And they're like no, Like, what do you want us
- 2:35Speaker 1: to do? There's twenty of us, there's one hundred thousand
- 2:37Speaker 1: of them. No, this is pretty much how it how
- 2:40Speaker 1: it is.
- 2:41Speaker 2: If you want to shoot you, I could hit you
- 2:46Speaker 2: a couple of times with my baton, so at least
- 2:48Speaker 2: that way, it looks like you're already getting it. So
- 2:50Speaker 2: maybe the fans will leave you alone. Oh man, that
- 2:53Speaker 2: is rough as a Texas fan. This is how I'm
- 2:57Speaker 2: going to segue into the movie. Live question, Texas fans,
- 3:01Speaker 2: if you had to, if you could only follow your
- 3:05Speaker 2: team to visiting stadiums, which one? Which one would you
- 3:09Speaker 2: go to? You can never go to a home game again.
- 3:13Speaker 2: You could only follow Texas to one road stadium per year.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I realized that they rotate and it's not always the same.
- 3:21Speaker 2: It's a hypothetical. So just you know, entertain me here.
- 3:25Speaker 3: I feel like LSU would be a good option because
- 3:27Speaker 3: at least there's a.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Party, okay, and maybe the Tiger fans, you know, because
- 3:34Speaker 2: it's all about laisse bon rule, and they're not going
- 3:38Speaker 2: to be so angry and spinning on you like the
- 3:40Speaker 2: Ohio State fans do.
- 3:42Speaker 1: I mean, there might be angry and spitting, it's just
- 3:46Speaker 1: you know, they're so drunk.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Yeah, at least there's alcohol involved though, right, Like.
- 3:53Speaker 2: It's not like you're gonna end up like in their
- 3:55Speaker 2: gumbo or anything. Okay, So you're going to go Tiger Stadium,
- 4:01Speaker 2: You're going to LSU Trey if you had to choose
- 4:04Speaker 2: which visits stadium.
- 4:05Speaker 1: I mean, LSU is not about Ole miss. The Grove
- 4:08Speaker 1: is one big, big party. Yeah, I would say, I mean,
- 4:14Speaker 1: now you're going to get into my biases of places
- 4:16Speaker 1: I actually want to go see games. So Alabama, the
- 4:22Speaker 1: Swamp and you know, Florida.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Yeah, so those would be fun, absolutely all right. So
- 4:30Speaker 2: now I'm going to segue that that Longhorn question, the
- 4:33Speaker 2: college football question, into a conversation I've seen online for
- 4:38Speaker 2: a couple of weeks, and I want to pose this
- 4:39Speaker 2: question to you. If you had to live inside of
- 4:44Speaker 2: a movie franchise, which movie franchise would you choose? Here
- 4:50Speaker 2: are the stipulations. It has to be a movie franchise
- 4:53Speaker 2: of at least two films, so it's not like a
- 4:56Speaker 2: just a one off, one movie kind of a thing.
- 4:59Speaker 2: It's got to be a movie franchise. You're not a
- 5:02Speaker 2: character in it, You're not like one of the main characters.
- 5:05Speaker 2: You're just you and you're thrust into this world. Which
- 5:11Speaker 2: movie franchise would you choose? And look, this is a
- 5:18Speaker 2: question I have pondered over a couple of days and
- 5:20Speaker 2: it has soothed my anxiety riddled, overthinking brain because my
- 5:28Speaker 2: first thoughts are like, oh, I want to do this one,
- 5:30Speaker 2: I want to do that one that I'm like, oh wait, no,
- 5:33Speaker 2: I don't. So I'm curious, Trey, if you had to
- 5:40Speaker 2: choose a movie franchise to live in, which would you choose.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Star Trek.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Okay, that's actually pretty good, because yeah, no, Rebecca, what
- 5:56Speaker 2: about you?
- 5:57Speaker 4: I would choose Back to the Future.
- 6:00Speaker 2: That's that's not bad.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Which timeline does it matter? Yeah, well, you're not a
- 6:08Speaker 1: main character.
- 6:09Speaker 4: Okay, you're right, you're right, you're right, you're right, You're right.
- 6:11Speaker 3: I would I'm gonna take the original eighties timeline okay, okay,
- 6:16Speaker 3: from the move from the first movie, and then I'm
- 6:18Speaker 3: gonna befriend and or fall in love with Marty Big
- 6:20Speaker 3: Fly so that I can go on all of the
- 6:22Speaker 3: escapades with him, like girlfriend Jennifer did.
- 6:25Speaker 5: No.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not a main character, but I'm gonna figure
- 6:28Speaker 3: out how to become one.
- 6:31Speaker 2: You're gonna make that. You're gonna you're gonna make the
- 6:34Speaker 2: leap from NPC to main to main character. Correct, You're like,
- 6:38Speaker 2: you're like free guy.
- 6:39Speaker 4: Correct.
- 6:40Speaker 3: And then I guess if I don't, I still get
- 6:42Speaker 3: to live in the eighties, which was like awesome.
- 6:44Speaker 4: Nineteen eighty five would come on?
- 6:46Speaker 2: Yeah, And look, I mean there's it's not like there's
- 6:49Speaker 2: a ton of eighties movies franchises where it's like, oh,
- 6:51Speaker 2: that would be fun, like if it's the one off thing,
- 6:54Speaker 2: like if you want to live in sixteen Candles or
- 6:57Speaker 2: Breakfast Club, fine, but that's those are one movie the eighties.
- 7:02Speaker 2: It's like, it's like, you're gonna choose Rambo now.
- 7:05Speaker 4: That I'm thinking about it.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Technically, if I had chosen Back to the Future too,
- 7:09Speaker 3: or they go into the future and trumps President, I'm
- 7:11Speaker 3: already freaking there.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Yeah, he was based on that character. So my thinking
- 7:18Speaker 2: with the Back of the Future thing was that was
- 7:19Speaker 2: one of my first thoughts because I thought, you know what,
- 7:22Speaker 2: as a non essential person in that world, that would
- 7:28Speaker 2: probably be fairly safe. However, every screw up that Doc
- 7:34Speaker 2: and Marty have has ripple effects through space and time.
- 7:40Speaker 2: So because he kisses his mama in the first one,
- 7:45Speaker 2: I may end up not existing, Like what happens when
- 7:48Speaker 2: they screw up that timeline and the mall is no
- 7:50Speaker 2: longer there and I was currently shopping at the buckle
- 7:53Speaker 2: when it happened? Do I then get swallowed up in it?
- 7:56Speaker 2: So Back to the Future, while seemingly safe, still is
- 7:59Speaker 2: fraud with trouble Star Trek I think is interesting, Tray,
- 8:04Speaker 2: because most of the problems in Star Trek happened way
- 8:07Speaker 2: far away from Earth. True, but if you're truly thrust
- 8:12Speaker 2: into the Star Trek realm, then I'm assuming you're going
- 8:15Speaker 2: to be because Trey, I mean, you're you're clearly captain material.
- 8:21Speaker 1: You know, Gene Roddenberry had a very utopian, utopian view
- 8:27Speaker 1: of the world when he created Star Trek. You it's
- 8:30Speaker 1: a world where you know, money, you don't need money,
- 8:33Speaker 1: and you could, you know, go on a starship and
- 8:38Speaker 1: see the universe and the technologies you know, so far advanced.
- 8:42Speaker 1: So yeah, I mean that would be mine.
- 8:45Speaker 3: So like I assume with this question though, that you
- 8:49Speaker 3: have to be you don't get to just be a
- 8:50Speaker 3: random person on Earth, like if you're in Star Trek,
- 8:52Speaker 3: order like he's got to be on the ship because
- 8:54Speaker 3: that's a part of the movie.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Yeah, that kind of is. But I mean also a
- 8:57Speaker 2: part of the part of the Star Trek realm is
- 9:00Speaker 2: they go to Earth some too. So Star Trek may
- 9:03Speaker 2: actually be one of the best answers to possibly give
- 9:06Speaker 2: because you could still like live in Dallas and still
- 9:08Speaker 2: be kind of cool with the Star Trek thing. Because
- 9:10Speaker 2: it's not like there are very many Romulans dropping out
- 9:13Speaker 2: of the sky and you know, on top of uptown.
- 9:17Speaker 2: But I was actually wrong, Trey. As much as I
- 9:20Speaker 2: think you are Captain material, you are you are Spock.
- 9:24Speaker 2: And that is partly because you've got the eyebrow. You've
- 9:28Speaker 2: got that vulcan and eyebro sea there. Yep. But here's
- 9:33Speaker 2: here's the trouble. I think a lot of people would
- 9:35Speaker 2: would see this question and they would they would immediately say,
- 9:39Speaker 2: I'm going to Star Wars. That's not a good idea.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Star Wars is absolutely a catastrophic movie universe for normal people.
- 9:51Speaker 2: You could just be hanging out having some coffee on
- 9:53Speaker 2: alder On Invader just blows you up.
- 9:56Speaker 4: Yep.
- 9:58Speaker 2: You're not a jet, so you don't get the lightsaber,
- 10:01Speaker 2: and if you do, you'd probably kill yourself with it,
- 10:04Speaker 2: just like Luke almost did in the first one. Is
- 10:06Speaker 2: he looked down the barrel of it.
- 10:08Speaker 3: I think this applies to any of the like the
- 10:11Speaker 3: Marvel movies too, because you never know where they're gonna
- 10:13Speaker 3: be and what city or state they're gonna blow up.
- 10:16Speaker 4: You just don't know.
- 10:17Speaker 2: That's absolutely true, Like you could be like me, right
- 10:19Speaker 2: now I'm visiting New York. And if I'm visiting New York,
- 10:22Speaker 2: what happens if Loki just flies by and blows me up?
- 10:26Speaker 2: You never really know, or if you know, I'm at
- 10:28Speaker 2: a kid soccer game and and Thanos snaps and half
- 10:32Speaker 2: the people are gone. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is one
- 10:35Speaker 2: of the worst. Star Wars is up there as well.
- 10:39Speaker 2: And I don't know if you guys knew this, but
- 10:41Speaker 2: you ever noticed how in Star Wars there's never any
- 10:44Speaker 2: guardrails anywhere, Like all the platforms, all the walkways, there's
- 10:49Speaker 2: just there's nothing to hang on to. It's just if
- 10:51Speaker 2: you fall, you're gone. There's no Osha in the galaxy
- 10:56Speaker 2: Far far Away and Dan no. You know, Star Wars
- 11:02Speaker 2: is very anti Ada. It is not Andy capable. If
- 11:06Speaker 2: you're in a wheelchair in Star Wars. That's just too
- 11:09Speaker 2: f and bad. But that was actually intentional on the
- 11:13Speaker 2: part of George Lucas. And the reason why was because
- 11:17Speaker 2: he said he wanted there to always be this sense
- 11:21Speaker 2: of danger or trouble throughout the galaxy, so that's why
- 11:25Speaker 2: they didn't have guardrails. I just thought it was something silly,
- 11:28Speaker 2: like maybe they just didn't make them that day because
- 11:32Speaker 2: it would have cost more money on the model sets.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Kind of like the reason the Simpsons only have three
- 11:37Speaker 2: fingers because it's cheaper and faster as opposed to five.
- 11:43Speaker 2: But yeah, I mean Star Wars has got to be
- 11:45Speaker 2: one of the worst universes to live in because you
- 11:48Speaker 2: could just trip and fall and you're gone, let alone,
- 11:50Speaker 2: you know, being subjected to the whims of the Sith.
- 11:55Speaker 4: I also wouldn't want to live in the Matrix either.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Oh, actually that actually that was probably more like real life.
- 12:05Speaker 2: It really is. Yeah, it just depends on which pill
- 12:09Speaker 2: you want to take.
- 12:10Speaker 4: I keep forgetting that.
- 12:11Speaker 3: We like we would just be regular people and not
- 12:14Speaker 3: part of the cast. So like, I don't have to
- 12:16Speaker 3: join Keanu in the basement somewhere and eat that disgusting
- 12:19Speaker 3: rule business.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Thank you. You don't have to have your head shaped,
- 12:22Speaker 2: you don't have to have a spike shoved into your
- 12:24Speaker 2: brainstem and eat porridge.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Right, I just say stupid and in the real world,
- 12:29Speaker 3: so kind of like.
- 12:30Speaker 4: Now, so we're good.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like, uh, in that first one where Joe
- 12:35Speaker 2: Pantleiono's character went because he betrays everyone. His whole thing
- 12:39Speaker 2: is I just want to go back, plug me back
- 12:41Speaker 2: in and just make me rich and stuff.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Yeah, so what's your what's yours? Dan?
- 12:47Speaker 2: Thank you for asking, Trey. I am stuck between deciding
- 12:51Speaker 2: the movie franchise that I would want to live in,
- 12:56Speaker 2: either Toy Story or maybe Fifty Shades of Gray, because
- 13:04Speaker 2: whatever happens to Anastasia Steel in Fifty Shades of Gray
- 13:07Speaker 2: has no bearing on me. Whatever she and Christian that
- 13:12Speaker 2: I'm aware of, unless unless I get kidnapped and brought
- 13:15Speaker 2: into the Red Room against my will. The Fifty Shades
- 13:19Speaker 2: of Gray universe is going to be pretty chill.
- 13:21Speaker 1: For me because it would be against your wills as
- 13:27Speaker 1: Anastasia Christian Grey go in the room one day and
- 13:30Speaker 1: it's just me and I've strapped myself in.
- 13:36Speaker 3: I don't want to be a part of any franchise
- 13:39Speaker 3: there that's so poorly written. It is literally the most
- 13:44Speaker 3: poorly written movie book et cetera. It's such garbage.
- 13:50Speaker 2: I actually I've read one of those books and it
- 13:52Speaker 2: is it was hysterical. I was actually reading it on vacation.
- 13:56Speaker 2: I'm next to a pool. I'm reading this book and
- 13:57Speaker 2: I'm laughing at certain parts. It's great.
- 14:00Speaker 3: We did a whole bit with it where me and
- 14:02Speaker 3: my friend Kathy on the air would read excerpts from
- 14:06Speaker 3: it and then we like, we made it extra dirty
- 14:08Speaker 3: and would bleep things and it was hilarious.
- 14:12Speaker 2: We did that with Billy. We sort of did that
- 14:14Speaker 2: with Billy the Kid, but in a different way. We
- 14:17Speaker 2: would just bleep words that we would insert of with
- 14:19Speaker 2: his commercial copy to make it sound like he was
- 14:21Speaker 2: saying way worse stuff he would have wished he went.
- 14:25Speaker 2: We given him fifty shades of gray copy to read.
- 14:32Speaker 2: But yeah, it's yeah. So if you could live inside
- 14:36Speaker 2: of a movie franchise, I think those are my answers.
- 14:38Speaker 2: And I haven't even seen I don't think I've seen
- 14:42Speaker 2: Toy Story three, four, and I definitely have not seen five.
- 14:46Speaker 1: I have never seen any of the Toy Story none.
- 14:49Speaker 5: All.
- 14:49Speaker 4: They are so good.
- 14:51Speaker 2: They really are Trey, I have read.
- 14:53Speaker 1: It's on my list. I'm very enjoyable. I just now
- 15:00Speaker 1: I started giving Game of Thrones to try again. I'm
- 15:04Speaker 1: I don't know where I was last time, but now
- 15:06Speaker 1: I'm really enjoying it even I mean, I'm just in
- 15:08Speaker 1: the first season.
- 15:08Speaker 3: So I did the first season with my husband and
- 15:13Speaker 3: then stopped and then picked it back up in the
- 15:16Speaker 3: last however many episodes.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Oh god, yeah, there.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Was one good episode in that final season and then
- 15:22Speaker 3: the rest is trashed.
- 15:23Speaker 2: I don't know if that would be a better way
- 15:26Speaker 2: to watch it or worse, But I will say this,
- 15:30Speaker 2: what what's the last big thing that happened in Game
- 15:34Speaker 2: of Thrones that you've seen, Trey?
- 15:37Speaker 1: I mean, I'm on, like, I just finished I think
- 15:39Speaker 1: episode four.
- 15:40Speaker 2: So all right, so you saw the kid get pushed
- 15:43Speaker 2: out the tower.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Yeah, he actually just woke up.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Okay, I'm a little I'm a little envious of you
- 15:51Speaker 2: because there are parts of Game of Thrones I absolutely love, which,
- 15:55Speaker 2: if we're being honest, that's another movie universe I want
- 15:59Speaker 2: nothing to do with.
- 16:01Speaker 4: I mean, you can die at any given moment.
- 16:03Speaker 1: No thank you or or the thing I will always
- 16:08Speaker 1: say about any of the old you know movies that
- 16:11Speaker 1: take place in yesteryear old times. Everyone has to smell
- 16:18Speaker 1: so bad. That is the thing that I just read.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I absolutely cannot get past the same thing with.
- 16:24Speaker 3: Like a Western too, because you know how nasty you
- 16:28Speaker 3: have to be in one of those dusty ass towns.
- 16:30Speaker 1: No anything before you know, probably the nineteen thirties.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I want I want none of that. I want
- 16:38Speaker 2: nothing from like the Middle Ages, Brave Heart, you want
- 16:41Speaker 2: to talk about stinky, oh my god, and those and
- 16:45Speaker 2: those guys weren't even wearing underwear. I mean, so that's
- 16:48Speaker 2: just all ass and hair.
- 16:50Speaker 1: And no and that smell and basically no seasoning.
- 16:55Speaker 4: No salt and pepperk not a thing yet.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Salt. Okay, that was more for that was more for
- 17:04Speaker 2: preserving things.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Yes, for sure, but uh no.
- 17:09Speaker 2: There's not the Yeah, I think in order to survive
- 17:13Speaker 2: the Brave Heart world, I'd have to be snorting salt
- 17:16Speaker 2: so I couldn't smell anything. Yeah, Middle Age is absolutely
- 17:21Speaker 2: not anything without running water.
- 17:25Speaker 4: We want plumbing, people, No one.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Wants to toilet paper, Yes, I love it.
- 17:36Speaker 2: No one wants if no one wants to go back,
- 17:38Speaker 2: it's like, don't get me wrong, like the Romans had plumbing,
- 17:41Speaker 2: which was great, but they were still using like some
- 17:44Speaker 2: weird sponge on the end of a stick to wipe
- 17:46Speaker 2: each other. That's just no fun for anybody.
- 17:48Speaker 4: And that's like a sharing situation, I think, right.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Yeah, well that gets us back to the red room.
- 17:53Speaker 2: In my universe.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Always comes back to you in a strap that.

- 19:16Speaker 2: got to fix that hole in the roof. Yeah, did
- 19:19Speaker 2: you call them? Uh?
- 19:20Speaker 4: That is on my list today. God curious, like I
- 19:23Speaker 4: nobody really is.
- 19:24Speaker 3: I swear, I swear like we're those neighbors right now.
- 19:28Speaker 3: We are the neighbors that literally have like the foam
- 19:31Speaker 3: insulation squirted up there filled in the hole. And my
- 19:35Speaker 3: husband's like, I don't know, call people. I swear I'm
- 19:38Speaker 3: calling them today.
- 19:40Speaker 2: So you're telling me that you put fix a flat
- 19:44Speaker 2: in the hole in your roof.
- 19:46Speaker 4: Yes, and it's worked for two years.
- 19:50Speaker 2: You know what. Look, I'm not going to judge you
- 19:53Speaker 2: too harshly on that because I've used I've used flex
- 19:58Speaker 2: seal on my roof a couple of times.
- 20:01Speaker 4: You gotta do what you gotta do.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Man, you do. However, I don't live anywhere near COOKDFW
- 20:09Speaker 2: Roofing and Restorations operating area. I lived twenty two hundred
- 20:13Speaker 2: miles away from them. Otherwise I would say, Dan, you'll
- 20:17Speaker 2: get your ass on my roof.
- 20:19Speaker 5: Uh.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Before we sold our house in Dallas, he had been
- 20:22Speaker 2: on my roof because I used him. I called him. You,
- 20:25Speaker 2: on the other hand, you're putting fix and flat in
- 20:29Speaker 2: a hole in your roof when you could just call
- 20:31Speaker 2: the man.
- 20:31Speaker 4: I know it wasn't always like this.
- 20:34Speaker 5: We had roofers come out, but they were like insistent
- 20:37Speaker 5: on replacing the entire roof, which it does not need
- 20:39Speaker 5: because it's brand new, right, I just need the hole fixed.
- 20:43Speaker 5: So here we are two years later, and I finally
- 20:46Speaker 5: found some people who will just fix the hole, thank
- 20:48Speaker 5: you very much.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Yeah, they're not going to force you to put a
- 20:51Speaker 2: new roof on it, I know, thank you. However, however,
- 20:55Speaker 2: if you need one, they're going to tell you, hey, hmmm.
- 21:00Speaker 2: The way I've always judged these things is and Trey
- 21:03Speaker 2: and I have a similar approach. And when we go
- 21:04Speaker 2: to the vet, and you probably do too as a
- 21:06Speaker 2: fellow animal lover, which is when you're kind of in
- 21:09Speaker 2: that position I'm not really sure what to do. You
- 21:12Speaker 2: would then lean towards the vet and be like, if
- 21:15Speaker 2: this was your animal, what would you do? If so,
- 21:18Speaker 2: like when Daniel Cook comes to the house and be like,
- 21:20Speaker 2: if this was your house, what would you do? It's
- 21:22Speaker 2: like I would do this or I would do that.
- 21:24Speaker 2: So once you find someone you trust enough, that's a
- 21:27Speaker 2: beautiful thing.
- 21:28Speaker 4: Yes, exactly.
- 21:30Speaker 2: So if you ask, if he tells you you need
- 21:32Speaker 2: a new roof, you do. He's not going to force
- 21:35Speaker 2: you to do it. No, I know.
- 21:37Speaker 3: I trust him though. I trust you guys because you
- 21:40Speaker 3: know that. So there's a difference. We had so many
- 21:44Speaker 3: just people trying to get it was a cash grab.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, well eight three three Cooke DFW. Would you
- 21:52Speaker 2: just call the man I am.
- 21:54Speaker 4: I'm calling him.
- 21:55Speaker 3: I texted you on Saturday about name who I'm supposed.
- 21:58Speaker 4: To talk to you.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Uh huh uh huh, And.
- 22:01Speaker 4: I'm gonna do it today today.
- 22:06Speaker 2: You sound like me talking to my wife. I'm gonna
- 22:08Speaker 2: call him today. I swear to God, I'm not trying.
- 22:10Speaker 4: It's on the agenda.
- 22:11Speaker 2: I so where COOKDFW dot com? Okay, today is not Saturday.
- 22:19Speaker 2: The day that I gave you that number. Today is Wednesday,
- 22:22Speaker 2: July first, twenty twenty six, which means technically you asked
- 22:26Speaker 2: me last month for their number. I know, and it's
- 22:30Speaker 2: now a new month. Wednesday, July first, twenty twenty six.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Birthdays today. It's a decent day for some birthdays we got.
- 22:38Speaker 2: We got some decent ones. A nine time nine times,
- 22:43Speaker 2: nine times, nine time Olympic gold medalist and one of
- 22:46Speaker 2: the greatest track and field athletes ever, Carl Lewis sixty
- 22:49Speaker 2: five today.
- 22:50Speaker 4: Best national anthem of all time that it keeps on giving.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Okay, I asked you guys earlier hypothetical. So I'm going
- 23:04Speaker 2: to ask you a very real question now. Whose National
- 23:08Speaker 2: Anthem performance was worse, Carl Lewis or Roseanne Barr Rebecca.
- 23:16Speaker 2: I'm going to I'll go to you first on this one.
- 23:20Speaker 3: You know what, I actually might have to give it
- 23:22Speaker 3: to Roseanne because I think she was trying to be
- 23:28Speaker 3: legitimately funny in that moment and it failed so epically bad.
- 23:34Speaker 4: I think Carl was really given.
- 23:36Speaker 1: In this all.
- 23:38Speaker 2: So that's always worse. Purpose feel or your reasoning is
- 23:44Speaker 2: the reason why I give it opposite answer to me,
- 23:48Speaker 2: Carl Lewis's was worse because he was trying to be good.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Roseanne Barr was trying to be bad and it was.
- 23:55Speaker 1: And let's be honest, He's black and you expected him
- 23:59Speaker 1: to at least care be able to, you know, carry
- 24:01Speaker 1: some sort of rhythm and a note, and he were
- 24:03Speaker 1: ailed all the way around. So I think his is
- 24:06Speaker 1: worse because expectations were I had no expectations of Roseanne Bar.
- 24:11Speaker 1: I had a certain amount of expectations for Carl.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Yeah, no, you're right about that. I was all I
- 24:17Speaker 2: was all aboard the stereotype train on that one, and
- 24:19Speaker 2: I think most of us were because it's a really
- 24:22Speaker 2: fast black man. Surely he's going to be able to
- 24:24Speaker 2: sing as well. Well. No, we all learned a valuable
- 24:26Speaker 2: lesson that day. All right. Other birthdays today, Carl Lewis
- 24:33Speaker 2: sixty five, which real quick. That was one of the
- 24:35Speaker 2: first times I had heard about steroids, not with him,
- 24:37Speaker 2: but because of Canadian and Joe said Ben Harper, that's
- 24:41Speaker 2: a different guy. Ben Johnson, who beat Carl Lewis, was
- 24:45Speaker 2: at the eighty eight or the ninety two Olympics tray,
- 24:49Speaker 2: I think it was eighty. I think it was eighty eight.
- 24:53Speaker 2: It was one of those. He was ninety actually, okay,
- 24:56Speaker 2: and everyone was stunned that this Canadian beat Carl Lewis.
- 25:00Speaker 2: And then we find out, oh, he was using steroids.
- 25:02Speaker 2: That was one of the first times I had heard
- 25:04Speaker 2: about it and saw it in action. I was like, oh, okay,
- 25:08Speaker 2: that's the only reason Carl Lewis lost. Other birthdays today,
- 25:12Speaker 2: Blondie's front lady Debbie Harry eighty one. I don't know
- 25:17Speaker 2: if it's because I do afternoons on the X in Brownwood.
- 25:21Speaker 2: I think I have not necessarily a new found appreciation.
- 25:25Speaker 2: I just have a found appreciation for Blondie. I didn't
- 25:28Speaker 2: realize how much I like some of their music until
- 25:30Speaker 2: I started listening to more of it, Like I really
- 25:33Speaker 2: like Blondie. So Happy Birthday, Debbie. The opposite of Blondie.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Missy Elliott is fifty five, although she may have been
- 25:42Speaker 2: blonde at some point, just vastly different type of music,
- 25:44Speaker 2: but still solid front lady Missy Elliott fifty five. Liv
- 25:49Speaker 2: Tyler is forty nine. Speaking of movie franchises from Yonder
- 25:56Speaker 2: Times slash Middle Earth, therefore know they all probably smell
- 26:01Speaker 2: really bad, although I will say the Elves seem like
- 26:05Speaker 2: they would probably smell just fine. And that's that's what
- 26:08Speaker 2: she was. And Lord of the Rings starred the Lord
- 26:11Speaker 2: of the Rings trilogy and daughter of Stephen Tyler, one
- 26:15Speaker 2: of the most to this day, one of the most
- 26:19Speaker 2: awkward father daughter relationships in modern history. And I don't
- 26:26Speaker 2: even think she knew Stephen Tyler was her dad till
- 26:28Speaker 2: much later in life. I don't know if he knew
- 26:30Speaker 2: she was his daughter till she was much older. But
- 26:33Speaker 2: once they connected, he was like, you know what I'm
- 26:35Speaker 2: gonna do. I'm gonna put you as a sexy girl
- 26:38Speaker 2: in one of my videos. The video was Crazy by Aerosmith.
- 26:43Speaker 2: It was her and Alicia Silverstone, and I still, first
- 26:47Speaker 2: of all, as a teenage boy when that when that
- 26:50Speaker 2: video came out, two thumbs up. But as a normal
- 26:55Speaker 2: thinking human, I thought, this seems weird. Why why as
- 26:59Speaker 2: a dad, would did you put your daughter on a
- 27:01Speaker 2: stripper poll in the video? That just seems really.
- 27:07Speaker 3: A lot of weird things happened in the music industry
- 27:10Speaker 3: and in Hollywood that wouldn't fly outside of that realm.
- 27:15Speaker 1: She was also illegal, she was already a model, and yeah,
- 27:21Speaker 1: I mean I would say that helped launch her career.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Oh, it absolutely did. It was great for her. I'm
- 27:28Speaker 2: sure the other guys in the band were like, you
- 27:30Speaker 2: sure about this, Stevid, because we're all gonna look. But
- 27:35Speaker 2: maybe it's because at least he's Silverstone balanced it out.
- 27:37Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 27:38Speaker 2: But it's also I love the song. I think she's
- 27:41Speaker 2: a phenomenal actress. Liv Tyler forty nine, like the rest
- 27:46Speaker 2: of the cast of Lord of the Rings, the core
- 27:47Speaker 2: cast living off one hell of a payday. Heck yeah,
- 27:53Speaker 2: Pamela Anderson is fifty nine, now that is an interesting career.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Are of the movie snap Dragon is fifty nine.
- 28:03Speaker 4: I thought you were going to say barbed wire.
- 28:06Speaker 2: I also saw that I also too, dude. Yeah, it was.
- 28:13Speaker 3: It was very campy, and I think it was very
- 28:15Speaker 3: on par for what it was trying to be or
- 28:18Speaker 3: whatever it was.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Yeah, oh it was. It was. It was pertly bad.
- 28:23Speaker 1: We're gonna totally just gloss over a sex tape.
- 28:27Speaker 2: No, No, we're just talking about the the you know,
- 28:30Speaker 2: the intended stuff, Like the stuff was not her.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Fault, so we can't even talk. You can't try to
- 28:35Speaker 3: be like bringing that into the conversation. Tray not her fault.
- 28:37Speaker 3: It was stolen out of her private stash.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Yeah, same same way Kim Kim Kardashian and Ray J's video.
- 28:45Speaker 2: Just now.
- 28:46Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure Chris Jenner to absolutely, I did not.
- 28:49Speaker 4: Think Pam Anderson was involved with hers.
- 28:52Speaker 2: She may not have been, but I think Tommy was.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Because I'll tell you this right now.
- 28:56Speaker 4: There's been potentially true.
- 28:58Speaker 2: As far as I'm aware of, there has never been
- 29:00Speaker 2: a celebrity sex tape leaked with a dude from Hollywood
- 29:05Speaker 2: with a tiny wiener. So I think if I think
- 29:08Speaker 2: if you're If you're Tommy Lee, You're like, oh, sorry, baby,
- 29:13Speaker 2: the housekeeper stole it. No, I just think you wanted
- 29:17Speaker 2: the world to know that, Hey, because you have a
- 29:19Speaker 2: hot wife and b you got a huge crank.
- 29:22Speaker 1: The drummer from Motley Crue was having trouble pulling chicks.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, oh no, I'm not saying you so much. Hell,
- 29:28Speaker 2: I just I just think he just wanted to show off.
- 29:32Speaker 2: They weren't touring at the time. He's like, you know,
- 29:34Speaker 2: I'm just I'm feeling it. And finally celebrating his seventy
- 29:42Speaker 2: fourth birthday, Original Saturday Night Live cast member code creator
- 29:46Speaker 2: of Ghostbusters and an og Blues brother. Dan Ackroyd is
- 29:50Speaker 2: seventy four, also the front pitch man for Crystal Skull Vodka.
- 29:58Speaker 1: I think he has fallen ill has he? Yeah?
- 30:03Speaker 4: No, I don't like to hear that.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Well, So he was. He was not at the the
- 30:10Speaker 1: fiftieth SNL reunion, and then there was a big tribute
- 30:19Speaker 1: to Eddie Murphy and his daughter was showed up in
- 30:22Speaker 1: his place. So he has not been seen in about
- 30:25Speaker 1: a year.
- 30:26Speaker 2: That's very unfortunate. I think the last thing I saw
- 30:28Speaker 2: him in was not movie wise. I think he was
- 30:33Speaker 2: in if I remember correctly, the John Candy documentary. I
- 30:38Speaker 2: think he was in that. I think that's the last
- 30:40Speaker 2: thing I saw him do. That was I guess recent.
- 30:44Speaker 2: But dan Ackroyd is an interesting guy. I think he's
- 30:47Speaker 2: a phenomenal talent, interesting career. Like for a while he
- 30:51Speaker 2: was just pitching the Crystal Skull vodka and he was
- 30:54Speaker 2: going to radio stations left and right. We were all
- 30:56Speaker 2: soaked it up, like, yeah, we're gonna talk to a
- 30:58Speaker 2: ghostbuster today. He's like, first, I'm going to tell you
- 31:00Speaker 2: about my vodka. Were like cool man that, we don't care.
- 31:03Speaker 3: We will sit through the time, cheer feel to get
- 31:07Speaker 3: to the Yeah.
- 31:10Speaker 1: He made a fortune off House of Blues.
- 31:14Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I forgot he was like a main the
- 31:16Speaker 3: main person for House of Blues.
- 31:17Speaker 4: I totally forgot about that.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, the whole Blues brother thing it was. That
- 31:21Speaker 2: was such a great that one that you know what,
- 31:23Speaker 2: the Blues Brothers franchise would be an interesting one because
- 31:26Speaker 2: they had two movies.
- 31:27Speaker 4: Yeah they did.
- 31:28Speaker 2: As long as you don't go to that mall, but
- 31:33Speaker 2: at least you could go to some good concerts. Uh So,
- 31:36Speaker 2: Happy birthday to dan akroid seventy four and one of
- 31:40Speaker 2: my favorite Dan Akroyd movies, Great Outdoors.
- 31:45Speaker 4: I love that movie.
- 31:47Speaker 2: It's not just because I love that movie, it's also
- 31:50Speaker 2: because I have lived part of that movie. Rebecca, Have
- 31:56Speaker 2: I told you about my adventure with bats?
- 31:59Speaker 4: I don't think. Okay, so bats not bears? That's good?
- 32:03Speaker 2: True? Yeah, so it could have been way worse. Yeah,
- 32:05Speaker 2: But you remember in the scene in the Great Outdoors
- 32:07Speaker 2: when a when a bat got in the cabin and
- 32:10Speaker 2: I and John Candy wearing wicker trash baskets over their face,
- 32:15Speaker 2: trash bags wrapped around them. They got brooms and mops,
- 32:18Speaker 2: and they're going to battle with this bat. That was
- 32:22Speaker 2: me about two years ago. There was a bat flying
- 32:24Speaker 2: around in the side of our house and and Tara shrieked,
- 32:27Speaker 2: woke up. She ran outside onto the under the balcony outside,
- 32:31Speaker 2: closed the door and locked it behind her. And then
- 32:35Speaker 2: it was me with a broom and a and a
- 32:38Speaker 2: wicker trash can over my head, going toe to toe
- 32:41Speaker 2: with a bat. There are very few movies I have
- 32:46Speaker 2: actually lived out scenes of, and the Bat in the
- 32:50Speaker 2: Great Outdoors is one of them.
- 32:52Speaker 3: It was very seal, and you lived to tell about it.
- 32:58Speaker 2: And I lived to tell the tale. Oh fun night,
- 33:06Speaker 2: those good times, Happy, Happy Birthday. Dan Acrod seventy four
- 33:10Speaker 2: taught me how to fight a bat. Without that movie,
- 33:14Speaker 2: I don't know if I would have known what to do.
- 33:16Speaker 4: And the movies are trash, no learning experience.
- 33:20Speaker 2: It was every other I mean every other movie that
- 33:23Speaker 2: teaches you how to deal with the bat is you
- 33:25Speaker 2: just got to wait for it to turn into Dracula
- 33:27Speaker 2: and stab it in the heart with a steak. And
- 33:29Speaker 2: I was glad I didn't have to do that.
- 33:33Speaker 1: He could have gone Ozzy.
- 33:37Speaker 2: They're faster than you think. I'm pretty sure the one
- 33:40Speaker 2: Ozzie got at had been sedated. That bat was already
- 33:46Speaker 2: half gone misery.
- 33:48Speaker 1: He may have already bitten ausy and just you know
- 33:50Speaker 1: the blood. Who knows what was in there?
- 33:54Speaker 4: I agree.

- 35:01Speaker 2: Who knows how to change a tire? My hand is up,
- 35:05Speaker 2: Trey's hand is up, Rebecca's kind of doing a royal wave.
- 35:08Speaker 4: Sort of taught, but I've never had to do it.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Okay, who taught you?
- 35:15Speaker 3: Oddly enough, it was a volleyball coach from high school.
- 35:17Speaker 3: We had a flat on the way to a volleyball
- 35:19Speaker 3: tournament and he got out and then he's like, everybody else,
- 35:23Speaker 3: get out, this is going to be.
- 35:23Speaker 4: A teachable moment, and then showed us how to change
- 35:25Speaker 4: a tire.
- 35:26Speaker 2: That's a good coach, well done. Yeah yeah. So the
- 35:31Speaker 2: good news is from the time that he showed you
- 35:33Speaker 2: how to change that tire to today, not a whole
- 35:36Speaker 2: lot has changed in tire changing technology. The biggest advancement
- 35:40Speaker 2: is the wheel lock thing. You just got to make
- 35:42Speaker 2: sure you got that wheel lock. So you can undo
- 35:44Speaker 2: that one nutt and then you can take the whole
- 35:46Speaker 2: thing off. Not everyone knows how to change a tire. Now. Look,
- 35:51Speaker 2: we've talked before about, you know, if you were a parent,
- 35:53Speaker 2: and what you would teach your kid and whatever, and
- 35:55Speaker 2: certain basic things including car maintenance. If I really wanted to,
- 36:01Speaker 2: I could learn and do my own oil change. I
- 36:04Speaker 2: don't want to. It's is not a thing, but I
- 36:06Speaker 2: have had to change many a tires in my life.
- 36:08Speaker 2: I think that's an essential skill. But not everyone gets
- 36:11Speaker 2: taught at It's not their fault. If you had to
- 36:15Speaker 2: think about Dallas Fort Worth TV people, how many of
- 36:19Speaker 2: them do you think know how to change their own tire?
- 36:23Speaker 4: None?
- 36:25Speaker 2: Some might surprise you, some maybe not. I I'm a
- 36:28Speaker 2: firm believer that Steve Noviella knows how to change a tire,
- 36:32Speaker 2: and if not, I know his producer Slash photog Raoul
- 36:36Speaker 2: absolutely does. And I kind of feel like Greg, the
- 36:45Speaker 2: weather guy from Channel eight, I feel like he could
- 36:47Speaker 2: change a tire.
- 36:49Speaker 4: Yeah, he definitely can't.
- 36:51Speaker 2: Speaking of Channel eight, the other day, on their morning show,
- 36:53Speaker 2: I guess Greg had the day off and they discussed
- 36:56Speaker 2: changing tires because their traffic reporter miss Lopez confessed to
- 37:03Speaker 2: everyone on the w FAA Morning show that she does
- 37:07Speaker 2: not know how to change a tire.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Sure knows, I can't change my own tire, so you
- 37:12Speaker 1: could know. Really, you guys are so close to it.
- 37:19Speaker 2: Wow. Wow, that w FAA anchor went hard on the
- 37:25Speaker 2: traffic reporter. Also, did you guys know that the Capitol
- 37:31Speaker 2: one Venture card guide uh is an anchor at Channel eight.
- 37:38Speaker 2: I'm waiting for him to tell me. What's like that?
- 37:41Speaker 2: It looks just like him. Yeah, that is Matt Howardton.
- 37:45Speaker 2: He is a w FAA anchor and he just couldn't
- 37:49Speaker 2: help himself when the door opened to make fun of
- 37:52Speaker 2: their tiny traffic report.
- 37:54Speaker 1: No, sure knows, I can't change my own tire, so
- 37:57Speaker 1: you could know.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Really, you guys are so close to it.
- 38:00Speaker 5: I'm sorry Greg was Greg's not here, so I have to.
- 38:08Speaker 5: I have to you're taking it out.
- 38:15Speaker 2: It is funny though, if you look at it, because
- 38:17Speaker 2: the two anchors you got, Matt and the blonde, they're
- 38:20Speaker 2: in chairs and then so seated. They're taller than she is,
- 38:25Speaker 2: so I guess she is quite tiny. You're sorry there,
- 38:31Speaker 2: we need im Sorry? You know how to change it? Tired?
- 38:36Speaker 3: Do you know how I'm the only one.
- 38:38Speaker 4: I don't change them, but I do know I don't
- 38:42Speaker 4: change them. That would be my response to, I don't do.
- 38:47Speaker 2: It, but I know, I know how. In theory, I
- 38:50Speaker 2: just I just I just smile. I just smile and
- 38:54Speaker 2: let someone else come do it.
- 38:55Speaker 4: For number that's on my on my phone that comes
- 38:58Speaker 4: and does the thing.
- 39:00Speaker 2: That reminds me, does it? I don't have my wallet
- 39:02Speaker 2: right in front of me. Does the back of the
- 39:05Speaker 2: Texas license? Does it still have the roadside assistance number
- 39:08Speaker 2: on the back of it? The last I looked at,
- 39:10Speaker 2: did I've used that before? It works? I can't remember
- 39:14Speaker 2: if they come check on you on the toll way
- 39:16Speaker 2: or not, But like, I remember the one time I
- 39:18Speaker 2: called them one time. I think I was in a
- 39:20Speaker 2: station vehicle. This is years and years ago, but I
- 39:23Speaker 2: called the number on the back of my license for
- 39:25Speaker 2: roadside assistance. It was off of like thirty five Mockingbird area,
- 39:29Speaker 2: and yeah, they came and helped and got me back
- 39:33Speaker 2: on my way. It was great. It was free, didn't
- 39:35Speaker 2: have to pay triple A stuff or anything.
- 39:37Speaker 4: That's awesome. How do more people not know about this?
- 39:42Speaker 2: I'm with you, It's one of those things, like I
- 39:44Speaker 2: had heard about it, and then I tried it one
- 39:47Speaker 2: time and the next thing, you know, I'm trying to
- 39:49Speaker 2: tell everyone, Yeah, call that number on the back of
- 39:51Speaker 2: your license. It's free. I mean, tax dollars are paying
- 39:56Speaker 2: for it, but they're not taking your money right then
- 39:59Speaker 2: and there. They just show up whenever they show up,
- 40:02Speaker 2: and they help you. Luckily, when I called them, they
- 40:04Speaker 2: happen to be down the road. They were there in
- 40:06Speaker 2: like twenty minutes and I was back on back on
- 40:09Speaker 2: the road within thirty. You know, if you're calling a
- 40:13Speaker 2: five o'clock on a Friday, you might still be there,
- 40:17Speaker 2: but they at least won't charge you for it.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Right.
- 40:21Speaker 2: But I do love there's always there's always one person,
- 40:24Speaker 2: and it's usually a girl that says, I know how,
- 40:26Speaker 2: but I just don't.
- 40:28Speaker 4: Oh, I mean.
- 40:31Speaker 1: One, I don't.
- 40:32Speaker 4: Change them, but I do know how.
- 40:34Speaker 2: Maybe is it like I love that she says it,
- 40:37Speaker 2: she delivers it in such an in such a way
- 40:39Speaker 2: that it's it's it's a little demeaning.
- 40:43Speaker 4: No, it totally is.
- 40:44Speaker 3: She went into like, my daddy has paid for everything,
- 40:46Speaker 3: and I'm going to flex that on you right now.
- 40:49Speaker 2: Yeah, the Texas thing, they teach the ladies that they
- 40:52Speaker 2: didn't teach me.
- 40:52Speaker 3: This is New York, Like, I don't want to be
- 40:54Speaker 3: murdered on the side of the road.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Yeah that's yeah, my dad.
- 40:57Speaker 4: So it's like, if you're going to have a car,
- 40:59Speaker 4: to learn how the car hold on. That's why she
- 41:02Speaker 4: doesn't know she's from New York. Nobody drives there.
- 41:05Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a geographic Yeah it's New York City. Did
- 41:09Speaker 1: she just said in New York not New York City?
- 41:11Speaker 3: I bet you a hundred bucks. She's from somewhere where
- 41:13Speaker 3: they don't really drive around a whole lot.
- 41:17Speaker 2: Like even where I'm staying right now, I'm outside the city.
- 41:21Speaker 2: We don't even have a car right now because we
- 41:23Speaker 2: don't need it because we can walk to everything. And
- 41:26Speaker 2: then if we need to get to the train to
- 41:27Speaker 2: get to the city, we can get an uber or
- 41:28Speaker 2: something that'll, you know, get us there. But again, changing
- 41:34Speaker 2: a tire, I think is an essential thing. The good
- 41:36Speaker 2: news is like in the olden days, if we needed
- 41:41Speaker 2: to learn how to change a tire and dad or
- 41:44Speaker 2: Papa or mom wasn't there to show you, you had
- 41:48Speaker 2: to crack open the owner's manual Love your Vehicle. Nowadays,
- 41:53Speaker 2: you can just pull it up on YouTube, and it's
- 41:55Speaker 2: so specific. It's not just how to change a tire,
- 41:58Speaker 2: it's how to change a tire on a twenty eighteen
- 42:01Speaker 2: Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited.
- 42:04Speaker 4: Yep.
- 42:05Speaker 2: It will tell you that your specific year, make model, everything.
- 42:10Speaker 2: It's right there. It might take you a little time
- 42:13Speaker 2: to watch the video and then do it, but at
- 42:16Speaker 2: least it's, you know, right there. The biggest thing is
- 42:19Speaker 2: just making is trusting other people not to run you
- 42:23Speaker 2: over as you do it.
- 42:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 42:25Speaker 2: Fact, and that's the scariest part.
- 42:30Speaker 3: Especially if it's on the opposite side from where you've
- 42:32Speaker 3: had to pull over, and it's like facing the.
- 42:35Speaker 4: Street, that's the most dangerous. Obviously, that's where you're gonna die.
- 42:39Speaker 2: Yeah, if you can yes over, get away, get off
- 42:47Speaker 2: the highway like the shoulder is one thing. But if
- 42:49Speaker 2: you can get all the way off that thing, maybe
- 42:55Speaker 2: pull into a Chick fil A if it's not Sunday,
- 42:57Speaker 2: because not only will they probably help you changing, you
- 43:00Speaker 2: can also get some some you know, chicken nugs while
- 43:03Speaker 2: you wait. That's that's my recommendation. Uh, Trey, I'm asking
- 43:10Speaker 2: you this because it's very much a sexist question and
- 43:12Speaker 2: also based on what Rebecca said before.
- 43:15Speaker 4: Dude, I was waiting for the sexiest part.
- 43:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I got you. I got you. Did you ever?
- 43:19Speaker 2: Do you have a personal record? Do you have a
- 43:21Speaker 2: personal best on tire changing?
- 43:26Speaker 1: No, I've Nascar.
- 43:29Speaker 2: I don't know. Come on, I don't know why. But
- 43:32Speaker 2: I had such a streak of bad luck with flat
- 43:35Speaker 2: tires for a while that I actually kept time, and
- 43:40Speaker 2: I think my fastest was like, I think thirteen minutes
- 43:43Speaker 2: or something from the time I pulled over to the
- 43:45Speaker 2: time I pulled out, which I was pretty impressed by.
- 43:48Speaker 2: It was also because it was on the shoulder of
- 43:50Speaker 2: I twenty and I was like, I better hurry. Yeah,
- 43:54Speaker 2: but I don't know why I had such a streak
- 43:57Speaker 2: of bad luck when it came to flat tires. I
- 43:59Speaker 2: was like, all right, time.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Maybe you're a shitty driver.
- 44:03Speaker 2: I am not.
- 44:04Speaker 4: I think it might be more than Dallas Bros. Or
- 44:06Speaker 4: trash riddle and scrubs and nails and everything else.
- 44:15Speaker 6: I know.
- 44:16Speaker 2: As a friend, I appreciate you having my back, Rebecca.
- 44:18Speaker 2: But Trey is right inside the treehouse. We should dog
- 44:22Speaker 2: pile on one another where we can. So this is
- 44:24Speaker 2: where you need to back up Tray and be like, yeah, Dan,
- 44:27Speaker 2: you're a terrible driver.
- 44:28Speaker 4: I have to defend you.
- 44:30Speaker 3: And my reasoning is because I also go through tires
- 44:33Speaker 3: like a crazy person.
- 44:36Speaker 1: You're a chick. We expect that.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Oh no, there it is all right. Last thing, last thing,
- 44:41Speaker 2: because I tease it and I just want to stick
- 44:43Speaker 2: it in there because I just have to. Brain worms
- 44:47Speaker 2: doctors thought a man had brain cancer, but they found
- 44:50Speaker 2: live tapeworms instead.
- 44:52Speaker 4: Oh good, that's better.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Give me the flat fluid filled cysts containing tapeworm larva
- 45:04Speaker 2: were mistaken for metastatic cancer on a man in Spain. Wow,
- 45:11Speaker 2: sixty years old. Doctors thought he had metastatic brain cancer,
- 45:15Speaker 2: but then scans revealed tapeworm larva in his brain.
- 45:22Speaker 4: How did they get there?
- 45:23Speaker 1: Is that trickonosis?
- 45:26Speaker 2: I believe it because tapeworm. Yeah. The patient, a lifelong
- 45:32Speaker 2: resident of Castaillon, Spain, had not traveled to any regions
- 45:35Speaker 2: where the disease is endemic. According to the case that
- 45:38Speaker 2: was reported in the CDC's journal. The man had initially
- 45:41Speaker 2: come to the hospital after suffering two weeks of progressive
- 45:44Speaker 2: headaches and mild behavioral changes. CT scan showed multiple abnormal
- 45:49Speaker 2: spots that looked like tumors that had spread from cancer
- 45:52Speaker 2: elsewhere in the body, leading them to suspect brain cancer. However,
- 45:56Speaker 2: whole body scans, a colonoscopy, and specialized imaging failed to
- 46:02Speaker 2: identify cancer anywhere in the patient's body, which, if I
- 46:05Speaker 2: can just say, if you're going to be that invasive
- 46:08Speaker 2: in my body, on one hand, I'll be grateful you
- 46:10Speaker 2: didn't find anything. On the other I'd be like, you
- 46:12Speaker 2: couldn't have found something for all that penetrating. When doctors
- 46:18Speaker 2: performed a more detailed MRI, they discovered several fluid filled
- 46:23Speaker 2: cysts in the brain, some of which contained the head
- 46:25Speaker 2: of a tapeworm. A blood test confirmed the diagnosis of
- 46:30Speaker 2: neurocystic carosis cysts cirrhosis. Yeah loo. He successfully recovered no
- 46:40Speaker 2: complications other than the fact everyone knows that his brain
- 46:42Speaker 2: was full of worms for a while.
- 46:45Speaker 3: How do you go on living with that knowledge, like
- 46:48Speaker 3: in all honesty, because that's what's creeping me out the most,
- 46:50Speaker 3: is that there was worms crawling around up.
- 46:52Speaker 4: In my head.
- 46:53Speaker 2: Yeah. The authors of the study suggested that the patient
- 46:57Speaker 2: may have gotten the infection after accidentally ingesting my chroscopic
- 47:00Speaker 2: tapeworm eggs years before, so not only are they there,
- 47:09Speaker 2: they're in there humping and making new ones.
- 47:11Speaker 1: Yeah, Dan, I have a question. I oh, no, what
- 47:18Speaker 1: prize do you like to get when you get penetrated deeply?
- 47:21Speaker 1: As you asked, like a happy meal?
- 47:24Speaker 2: It's more like it's more like the crown that you
- 47:26Speaker 2: get at Burger King. I hate that you asked it,
- 47:37Speaker 2: and I also hated that I had an answer. I
- 47:41Speaker 2: also have a second answer, which I know I'm going
- 47:43Speaker 2: to regret if I'm at McDonald's. It's just playland for
- 47:47Speaker 2: all things Treehouse Treehouse air dot com. Be sure to like, share,
- 47:51Speaker 2: and follow on social media and subscribe on YouTube. The
- 47:55Speaker 2: handles were both at Treehouse on Air. At Treehouse on
- 47:58Speaker 2: Air again, that's good for social media and our YouTube channel.
- 48:01Speaker 1: What now, we need to get you a cake topper
- 48:04Speaker 1: of the Golden Arches, begga. Do you know what a
- 48:13Speaker 1: cake topper is?
- 48:15Speaker 2: Yes, no, there's there's a new version of it.
- 48:19Speaker 1: Oh, it's what gen Z is now referring calls tramp
- 48:23Speaker 1: stamps cake toppers.
- 48:24Speaker 2: Oh that's not as exciting to you.
- 48:28Speaker 4: Yeah, it was very as a climactic.
- 48:32Speaker 2: Well it's because you had the other version in your head. Well,
- 48:36Speaker 2: we'll see your next time, right here inside the treehouse,
