- 1:36Speaker 1: four conditions including one function and shower and approximately eighty
- 1:42Speaker 1: five people of fifty eight people per section, and that
- 1:47Speaker 1: these conditions have gotten inmates six inmates of being forced
- 1:52Speaker 1: to you know, not beable to shower and makes to

- 1:57Speaker 1: their hands, anything and nothing we want to share to you.

- 2:10Speaker 1: and that our stay representatives, Prison of Issues and the
- 2:15Speaker 1: directors have all come down here to actually see these
- 2:19Speaker 1: conditions thanks to the two podcasts and UH and let's
- 2:23Speaker 1: talk about it. So tonight I got an individual who
- 2:26Speaker 1: would like to be a thanks and show that these
- 2:28Speaker 1: conditions are being mess right now. They're fixing the windows,
- 2:33Speaker 1: they are mixing showers. We'll have all of our talents
- 2:37Speaker 1: worken and UH we are able to speak to these
- 2:39Speaker 1: individual lawmakers and stay represented Carter UH. The directors and
- 2:45Speaker 1: everybody to get our conditions under control. So we want
- 2:48Speaker 1: to say thank you very much for joining us, and
- 2:50Speaker 1: we want to have an individual to come in and
- 2:52Speaker 1: give thanks to y'all to show that these conditions are
- 2:55Speaker 1: being mess So here he is right here. I didn't
- 3:01Speaker 1: carry him to tell all of the I was about
- 3:03Speaker 1: to get a place to people the other limits on
- 3:07Speaker 1: the suge just a bigger Saint Jail, traditions and order.
- 3:11Speaker 1: I would like to say as spit it us for
- 3:14Speaker 1: doing them things for us that I like. The U
- 3:19Speaker 1: n shut the little people came over. He came to
- 3:21Speaker 1: make sure all the glass seeing I was tall, and
- 3:23Speaker 1: everything pay working water, working the water, make sure everything
- 3:27Speaker 1: gets done. I just like to think that so all
- 3:30Speaker 1: the traditions that we end up being to the kills,
- 3:33Speaker 1: I would like to give thanks everybody. Wat the job
- 3:37Speaker 1: has been done and they still work out everything else too.
- 3:41Speaker 1: I'd like to stay job. Okay with that, Fan said,
- 3:46Speaker 1: I would like to, uh, you know, show that you
- 3:49Speaker 1: know intimates here at the state there Elenic facility or
- 3:53Speaker 1: you know, appreciating everything that you know. Uh. Podcast us
- 3:57Speaker 1: talking about the mission that Johnson that we're doing, and
- 4:00Speaker 1: we appreciate the applicating because you know, the issues that
- 4:03Speaker 1: we an't advocated about, you know, how we live in
- 4:06Speaker 1: these business systems, you know, and the issues that needs
- 4:09Speaker 1: to be talked about, real issues because we're suffering in
- 4:14Speaker 1: these prisoness systems. You know every day that you know,
- 4:17Speaker 1: we're being forced to live here and you know we
- 4:20Speaker 1: have people who's going to these conditions that you know,
- 4:22Speaker 1: not being there to go home to their families because
- 4:26Speaker 1: our parole board systems are not letting us out even
- 4:29Speaker 1: though we haven't granted parole over a year ago. Here
- 4:32Speaker 1: it is our directors, you know what I'm saying, and
- 4:35Speaker 1: not making sure that these conditions are being made. So
- 4:37Speaker 1: what we're doing based on the house, I can see
- 4:40Speaker 1: group of Missus Andrews Homer Smith and Missus Sinnette Johnson,
- 4:43Speaker 1: these people are now releasing and making now and we'll
- 4:47Speaker 1: appreciate that because this is exactly what we needed somebody
- 4:51Speaker 1: to advocate on how we have in order to show
- 4:54Speaker 1: that you know, somebody do care, you know, and that
- 4:57Speaker 1: somebody needs to listen to what's going on behind it
- 5:00Speaker 1: the walls. So we want to thank you very much
- 5:03Speaker 1: and see that mister Chris Carter he came, mister Brewster, uh,
- 5:09Speaker 1: mister Agent Brewster. He came the director of TDC, mister uh,
- 5:14Speaker 1: mister Bobby Long, and they came, uh the directors of TDC.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Uh mistalgia, they came. Everybody who needed it to come
- 5:22Speaker 1: over here to see these conditions, they came, and we
- 5:25Speaker 1: appreciate that. So we want to show that, you know,
- 5:28Speaker 1: we'll appreciate the health that we are getting out there.
- 5:31Speaker 1: If anybody is listening to this podcast tonight, we have
- 5:34Speaker 1: to be off to get involved and to advocate for
- 5:37Speaker 1: the real issues that we need to afters how law
- 5:40Speaker 1: is and our staaterety resentership about not just prison conditions,
- 5:44Speaker 1: about people there wrong being convicted and over incarcerated, about
- 5:49Speaker 1: our broken parole bop systems, about our broken priminal justice system,
- 5:53Speaker 1: as more as the court of issues you know doing
- 5:56Speaker 1: sending innocent people to prison and uh uh issues related
- 6:00Speaker 1: to mental health uh inmations here, you know, killing themselves
- 6:04Speaker 1: because they're overly and and inducing themselves with drugs and
- 6:08Speaker 1: and and conditions that they are being forced to live in.
- 6:12Speaker 1: So we ask the outside world to get involved with
- 6:15Speaker 1: you know, applicating on our behalf to start to get
- 6:17Speaker 1: our lawmakers and our stay represented sivet and everybody to
- 6:21Speaker 1: see that you know, these conditions can do better, they
- 6:24Speaker 1: can be better, and we need just an art of
- 6:26Speaker 1: us to really real ability back into society because that's
- 6:29Speaker 1: what they're asking us to do, to rehability, but they're
- 6:33Speaker 1: not giving us anything to real hilitate with the just
- 6:36Speaker 1: is the suffer in these prisms systems day by say
- 6:40Speaker 1: that to riding away and this is something that has
- 6:43Speaker 1: to change. So you know, tonight we're acting to anybody
- 6:47Speaker 1: who's listening to these podcasts to come in and to
- 6:50Speaker 1: get with any advocacy group that you know, staying the
- 6:53Speaker 1: core values of you know, trying to bring about the
- 6:56Speaker 1: change that they desire to see in this world and
- 6:59Speaker 1: this prison system and our facilities, our institutions, and our
- 7:03Speaker 1: town our facilities and our horse systems are not too
- 7:06Speaker 1: uh our county jails and stuff like this. And you
- 7:10Speaker 1: know we uh wedn't want to say that. You know,
- 7:13Speaker 1: advocating is a very important battle because like as of
- 7:16Speaker 1: right now, we have people sitting on death road. We
- 7:19Speaker 1: don't have nobody applicating on the had and try to
- 7:22Speaker 1: see if they've been stopping the polished particlity. Okay, because
- 7:25Speaker 1: of the fact that a lot of people that are
- 7:27Speaker 1: sitting on death row, these individuals have not been given
- 7:30Speaker 1: psychological evaluation, that isn't on death row. But still these
- 7:34Speaker 1: people are being executed. And even though Texas leads the
- 7:37Speaker 1: nations and exonerations and executions steal our court officials, our
- 7:41Speaker 1: lawmakers are not going to enough to ensure that they're
- 7:44Speaker 1: not actually executing an unswer person. All they're doing is
- 7:49Speaker 1: is this pushing for executions. Our governor he's a he's
- 7:54Speaker 1: a supporter of executions. So with the men said, we're
- 7:58Speaker 1: asking for anybody who's listening to podcast the cool podcast
- 8:02Speaker 1: and Let's talk about it, any podcast of the fourth
- 8:05Speaker 1: Davat he used to send the horse and to get
- 8:08Speaker 1: involved in the show that the more can be done
- 8:11Speaker 1: in the order to be able to stop by lawmakers
- 8:13Speaker 1: and them for make knowing our situations. And had it
- 8:16Speaker 1: not been for the cool Podcasts and Let's talk about
- 8:19Speaker 1: us to shed light on these conditions over here, nobody
- 8:22Speaker 1: would have came. Nobody would have came. These innimates over
- 8:25Speaker 1: here are suffering day by day, eating off the trays
- 8:28Speaker 1: that are priests, trades that are being Washington trash teams
- 8:33Speaker 1: trades that are being washed in cold water because they
- 8:36Speaker 1: don't have tied of water on this unit. The officers
- 8:39Speaker 1: are being allowed to drink out of UH water bottles
- 8:42Speaker 1: from the Free World water, but the inmates of being
- 8:45Speaker 1: forced to drink contaminated prison of water. And this is
- 8:48Speaker 1: not life. So had it not been of the poor
- 8:51Speaker 1: podcast shed light and tagging everybody that needed it to
- 8:54Speaker 1: be tagged and missus Seannette Johnson, you know, for being
- 8:57Speaker 1: able to reach out and tag people that she tagged
- 9:00Speaker 1: and applicating all be had we would have had these
- 9:02Speaker 1: people to them and show they're concerns about you know,
- 9:05Speaker 1: the issue that mattered to us. And like I say,
- 9:08Speaker 1: right now here it is they're here and we see
- 9:11Speaker 1: them and we're appreciate the back there here. But now
- 9:15Speaker 1: they need to ask us eye issues. Get these reasons
- 9:18Speaker 1: out of here that'sn't already made for role. It's over
- 9:21Speaker 1: fifteen thousand inmates already approved for GROW, but they will
- 9:25Speaker 1: not let these people. So why are so many people
- 9:28Speaker 1: that's already approved for for who still being held in prison?
- 9:32Speaker 1: This don't make no sense because we try and figure
- 9:35Speaker 1: out why these people are not doing their jobs. Our
- 9:38Speaker 1: rehabilitation system is broken. They're saying that we're supposed to
- 9:42Speaker 1: rehabilitate back into society, but how can we bilitate back
- 9:47Speaker 1: into society? And they're not giving us anything and all
- 9:50Speaker 1: of us Chillery is going to take back into society.
- 9:53Speaker 1: We're going back to the same area that we lift
- 9:56Speaker 1: from the beginning with nothing. We don't have no jobs
- 10:00Speaker 1: waiting on us. We don't have no rehity programs trying
- 10:03Speaker 1: to provide us with no jobs. We don't have no
- 10:05Speaker 1: nothing through rehitt the program because they are not even
- 10:09Speaker 1: coming over here to talk to us and show us
- 10:11Speaker 1: that we have access to opportunities out there in the
- 10:13Speaker 1: world to be able to to goin this thing that
- 10:16Speaker 1: we need to reaccuate right into society. And we're trying
- 10:19Speaker 1: to figure out why is this going on like this?
- 10:22Speaker 1: Why do we have a system that doesn't even care
- 10:24Speaker 1: if we fail or not. But they tell us that
- 10:26Speaker 1: they want us to reappear and pay back into society.
- 10:29Speaker 1: That's not right. So we acted to anybody that's listening
- 10:33Speaker 1: to these podcasts tonight to be able to get involved
- 10:36Speaker 1: and to be able to stand en up and speak
- 10:38Speaker 1: on our behalf and to adjust these issues. Tag your governor,
- 10:42Speaker 1: tag us statement, then to tag your sentences and ask
- 10:46Speaker 1: them to come and look at these systemselves. That's not
- 10:49Speaker 1: dispending on no paper. No nobody refine us to them
- 10:53Speaker 1: on paper. After right now, these people are passing passing
- 10:57Speaker 1: inspections and these showings are torn them. These owners are broken,
- 11:01Speaker 1: contaminated water trays and nasty. No target, you're working, no
- 11:08Speaker 1: showers working, But these people are constantly passing into sections.
- 11:12Speaker 1: How can that be possible? That's that's that's that's forging
- 11:16Speaker 1: documents man, That's what this is. It's forge in doctors.
- 11:19Speaker 1: So we're acting for everybody to get involved. If you
- 11:22Speaker 1: can't up and push these issues to her sacred presentatives
- 11:26Speaker 1: about our prison conditions, and that's demand that. Then we
- 11:29Speaker 1: opened ru versus a sell of finass action civil lawsuit
- 11:34Speaker 1: and shows that I put in the conditions the singles
- 11:37Speaker 1: the way they were twenty twenty five to thirty years ago.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Let's show the prison system the over crowded to the capacity.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Our governor is trying to force inmates to be sent
- 11:48Speaker 1: out of state to other prisons under the directions of
- 11:52Speaker 1: the United States President, saying we's willing to be able
- 11:56Speaker 1: to send United States citizens to other countries while because
- 11:59Speaker 1: of the old out of our public systems. This is
- 12:02Speaker 1: not right, and we need for people to get involved
- 12:05Speaker 1: in the stand up to our governors and demand that
- 12:07Speaker 1: these people not being allowed to get away with the
- 12:09Speaker 1: things that they're getting a wing with after Right now,
- 12:12Speaker 1: we're living in a place called Management Training Corporation. This
- 12:19Speaker 1: is a corporation where these people are being paid to
- 12:22Speaker 1: maintain us in a rehabilitation program. So we're being paid
- 12:26Speaker 1: out to a private corporation under the executive practice government
- 12:31Speaker 1: and we're being held paid today even a year after
- 12:34Speaker 1: we live the role. So who's responsible for this? People
- 12:39Speaker 1: are sold fill let out for year ago, but they
- 12:42Speaker 1: still live with that prison under Management Corporation. And these
- 12:48Speaker 1: people are not letting you go and tell you complete
- 12:51Speaker 1: a programs that you've already completed that while you have
- 12:55Speaker 1: been at an institution, so while you being for us,
- 12:58Speaker 1: the tough devil takes enough that if you've already completed it.
- 13:02Speaker 1: This is not making no sense. So we're asking for
- 13:05Speaker 1: people to get involved in for us to tag our
- 13:07Speaker 1: governors and our reposition to and ask them to get
- 13:10Speaker 1: involved and asks bodies issues are happening like this. It
- 13:13Speaker 1: ain't nobody trying to say nothing to prove that we
- 13:16Speaker 1: are being brought by profit company in me and that
- 13:21Speaker 1: we're not giving anything to help us to real a
- 13:23Speaker 1: great fact into society. Our recentivision leader is eighty five
- 13:27Speaker 1: percent for people to return back to prison. Wow, because
- 13:31Speaker 1: nobody in the free world and nobody's out, they're paying
- 13:35Speaker 1: attention to what's going on. This is a revolving thought
- 13:39Speaker 1: that will face and you don't need to involve at door.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Why because our governor don't care, Our representatives is showing
- 13:46Speaker 1: that they don't care, our sensors don't care. Our criminal
- 13:50Speaker 1: justice and officials don't care. So if there's nobody here,
- 13:54Speaker 1: then I don't nobody's here, then we will always have
- 13:56Speaker 1: an eighty five percent recidivism rate. Tell us some people
- 14:01Speaker 1: are being won't be computing clients that did not commit
- 14:04Speaker 1: This is not right And when I can compete to
- 14:07Speaker 1: get involved in the show that mental health issues, you
- 14:10Speaker 1: know needs to be addressed the same as you know, uh,
- 14:14Speaker 1: the drugs fights in our prison systems and then our
- 14:17Speaker 1: institutions kids are dine every day while because they're so
- 14:22Speaker 1: so caught up at fitting all and that the better
- 14:24Speaker 1: made and man of war and stuff in our prison systems.
- 14:30Speaker 1: How they getting in here. It has to be coming
- 14:32Speaker 1: in through our officers who are claiming to be a
- 14:36Speaker 1: text department color of justice of bishops. This is not
- 14:40Speaker 1: right that they're playing duds and they have to help
- 14:41Speaker 1: kill inmates and and and people that's you know, stressing
- 14:45Speaker 1: and gone different issues. So we're acting for anybody that's
- 14:49Speaker 1: listening to this podcast and I to step up and
- 14:51Speaker 1: ask for I govern now I stay repetentis and them
- 14:54Speaker 1: to get involved in too, do more to how to
- 14:57Speaker 1: pusit these things from happening because this is not right.
- 15:01Speaker 1: And again we want to say thanks to Linders and
- 15:04Speaker 1: Nick Johnson of the group and let's talk about it.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Showing missus Angela Thomas Smith and your your advocacy, but
- 15:12Speaker 1: sends enough on our behalf and listening to our concerns.
- 15:16Speaker 1: These ladies really appreciates y'all very much because they see
- 15:21Speaker 1: that y'all have helped us. But I tall these people
- 15:24Speaker 1: will not have came over here. So we thank y'all
- 15:27Speaker 1: very much and we will continue to bank complaints to
- 15:31Speaker 1: y'all any time we have complaints we got on our
- 15:33Speaker 1: prison systems regard to our PRISM officials or anything that
- 15:37Speaker 1: we feel that's concerning man the same as what our
- 15:41Speaker 1: parole for is broken. They don't have no communication with
- 15:45Speaker 1: this program over here, but still they're putting us in
- 15:48Speaker 1: this in the five six program, and it's not right
- 15:51Speaker 1: if they know that we being put into the program
- 15:53Speaker 1: and that we can't complete this program until we get here.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Some people don't get intil a year later, and still
- 16:00Speaker 1: they have to do a completion of six months after
- 16:02Speaker 1: get in here. So that's eighteen months on an five
- 16:05Speaker 1: six program. But how is that possible? If I made
- 16:09Speaker 1: throw eighteen months ago, that's not a proval, that's a
- 16:13Speaker 1: set off. But I can't even until I complete. And
- 16:17Speaker 1: now I have to wait two months to complete just
- 16:19Speaker 1: to get out. Even if I'm an a halfway house,
- 16:22Speaker 1: I have to wait until the State of tax to
- 16:24Speaker 1: sign meant half hours. That's another five months that I
- 16:27Speaker 1: have to wait just to get out. These issues are
- 16:31Speaker 1: issues that needs to be addressed our love, and we
- 16:34Speaker 1: asking for people to stand up and to get involved
- 16:37Speaker 1: in to find out what's going on with I'm and
- 16:41Speaker 1: made some stress and over here willing to commit suicide
- 16:43Speaker 1: just because they're being forced to stay in prison longer
- 16:46Speaker 1: than they have to. People want to get out, People
- 16:50Speaker 1: are expecting to go home to their families, but because
- 16:53Speaker 1: we're being bought by a private corporation, we can't go home.
- 16:57Speaker 1: We have to wait up til they decide to feel
- 16:59Speaker 1: like they want to let us go, until after they
- 17:01Speaker 1: get their money for holding us to the prison. So
- 17:05Speaker 1: we ask you for people to get involved and just
- 17:07Speaker 1: to listen to what we have to see because we're
- 17:10Speaker 1: the ones who are being forced to through these conditions.
- 17:15Speaker 1: So please get involved, Please stand up on our behalf.
- 17:19Speaker 1: That's the case for us, and we thank you very
- 17:22Speaker 1: much for listening to us. We understand that a lot
- 17:25Speaker 1: of times people don't want to get involved into these
- 17:27Speaker 1: present issues because they think that nothing is gonna change.
- 17:31Speaker 1: But again, we are to change that we desire to see.
- 17:34Speaker 1: We have to stand up to these things. We have
- 17:36Speaker 1: to speak out, We have to stand up because if
- 17:39Speaker 1: we don't, nothing will ever happen. Because if we can't
- 17:43Speaker 1: stand because of something bad ways will stand alone. But nothing.
- 17:47Speaker 1: So again, come and join us see Texas campaign. Here
- 17:51Speaker 1: in Texas, we're trying to make sure that when our
- 17:54Speaker 1: issues are being brought out, that we too will standing
- 17:57Speaker 1: up and speak out and go to the Capitol to
- 18:00Speaker 1: have these people to listen to what we have to say,
- 18:02Speaker 1: because that's exactly what we're gonna do. We're gonna shot
- 18:07Speaker 1: its just needs to be addressed. So we asked anybody
- 18:11Speaker 1: just listening to this podcast tonight and get involved. And
- 18:14Speaker 1: we're going to thank you again, missus Adeler Thomas Smith
- 18:17Speaker 1: for allowing us this opportunity to have a voice, to
- 18:21Speaker 1: have a voice, because without a voice and nothing, And
- 18:25Speaker 1: thank you and this and that Johnson for giving us
- 18:27Speaker 1: this platform too mad to being able to come onto
- 18:30Speaker 1: your shoulders, ma'am, to dable to speak out about these issues,
- 18:34Speaker 1: because without it, ma'am with nothing. So thank y'all very
- 18:38Speaker 1: much for allowing us to start again. And like I said,
- 18:41Speaker 1: the animate over here they want to say, thank y'all
- 18:44Speaker 1: very much. You know what I'm saying for y'all advocated
- 18:47Speaker 1: on our behalf and we'll appreciate y'all very much. And
- 18:50Speaker 1: uh us, ma'am. And with Pat Manam, I would like
