- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello everyone, and welcome to the Jeffrey Epstein Show. I'm
- 0:04your host, Bobby Capuci, and this is a morning update.
- 0:10We're going to talk a little bit more about the
- 0:13plea deal in Florida. Now we know that the Eleventh
- 0:19Circuit Court just heard the appeal from Courtney Wilde and
- 0:24Paul Cassell to try and have this NPA overturned. Well,
- 0:30an article from the Palm Beach Post is really digging
- 0:37to the heart of the matter, and the heart of
- 0:40the matter is that the Palm Beach County Prosecutor's office
- 0:46worked in conjunction with the defense of Jeffrey Epstein to
- 0:53make sure that these girls didn't get justice. Now, I've
- 0:58talked about this from almost the very beginning, right how
- 1:03the Epstein legal team and his CONGLOMERATEI of powerful lawyers
- 1:10were able to put a significant amount of pressure on
- 1:15the state prosecutors, and they were able to control the
- 1:19narrative and get their client, Jeffrey Epstein, one of the
- 1:24most prolific sex traffickers and child abusers in the history
- 1:29of this country. Well, they were able to let him
- 1:35get that nice NPA, catch a nice cushy jail sentence,
- 1:41and the girls that were abused once again were just ignored.
- 1:51And this new article today from the Palm Beach Post
- 1:55delves into that, and it talks about how the high
- 2:00profile lawyers from Jeffrey Epstein's team were able to use
- 2:05their significant amount of influence to push this case in
- 2:09a way that they wanted, and the saddest part is
- 2:14the state prosecutors went along with it. This article was
- 2:23published by the Palm Beach Post the headline Jeffrey Epstein
- 2:28case PBC's state attorney worked with defense to undercut Feds.
- 2:33The report says this article was authored by Jane Musgrave
- 2:41and that headline alone is enough to make you want
- 2:43to beat your head off of a wall. Right, How
- 2:48in the hell does the state attorney's office work with
- 2:51the defense to undercut the feds? And furthermore, how are
- 2:55the FEDS led by spineless bitch ass Acosta getting run
- 3:02roughshot by a local attorney's office. From the moment federal
- 3:10prosecutors were handed the Jeffrey Epstein case, they didn't trust
- 3:14Palm Beach County State Attorney Barry Krisher. Yeah, I don't
- 3:19blame them, right, you know, Barry Krisher is the guy
- 3:21that tried to throw Rush Limbaugh in jail for a
- 3:24bazillion years over being a drug addict. Now, I don't
- 3:28care what you think about Rush Limbaugh one way or
- 3:30the other. But if you're going to pursue somebody for
- 3:33having a drug addiction as as hard as they pursued
- 3:39Rush Limbaugh, you would think the same prosecutor would be
- 3:42just as worried about someone like Jeffrey Epstein conducting all
- 3:46sorts of crimes against children. Right, you would think that
- 3:51it would be the same kind of hard charging, I'm
- 3:54gonna throw you in jail the rest of your life attitude.
- 3:56But we certainly didn't see that from Barry Krisher. In fact,
- 4:00we saw Barry Krisher attempt to get Jeffrey Epstein pretty
- 4:03much off. But even though federal prosecutors believed Krisher had
- 4:10intentionally torpedoed the case, they took the rare and misguided
- 4:15step of putting him in the driver's seat. You see,
- 4:18this is why none of it adds up, Right, The
- 4:21Feds never defer to local like this in a case
- 4:24like this, But yet they deferred to the local prosecutor
- 4:29and let Jeffrey Epstein face state charges instead, If anyone
- 4:34thinks that that was a decision that was made by
- 4:37Acosta on his own without calling his buddy, mister Mukesy
- 4:42frantically and frequently, you're not paying attention to how all
- 4:46of this bureaucracy works. Instead of vigorously pursuing and the
- 4:52politically connected financier pedophile on charges that he sexually assaulted
- 4:58dozens of teens at his Palm Beach mansion, Krisher joined
- 5:02hands with Epstein's defense team and undermined federal prosecutor's efforts.
- 5:09I've talked about the Federal Prosecutor's office in Palm Beach
- 5:14for a while, and I think that they played a
- 5:17huge role here. Obviously, I think the OKA came down
- 5:20from uh Mukasey's office, but I think that the Palm
- 5:25Beach office here was very significant in the deal that
- 5:32Jeffrey Epstein ended up getting. I think that the State's
- 5:37Attorney's office, even I'll take it a step further. I
- 5:39think Krisher in the State's Attorney's office went to bat
- 5:42for Jeffrey Epstein. Now do I have direct evidence of that. No,
- 5:46I don't. I can't provide that evidence for you. Unfortunately,
- 5:50but all the pieces fit together. And when we keep
- 5:54getting articles like this after the fact, when we add
- 5:57more context to this story after the fact, things start
- 6:01to emerge, right, things definitely start to emerge. And it looks,
- 6:07at least to me that the State's Attorney's office was
- 6:13playing ball with Jeffrey Epstein. And I don't see how
- 6:19anyone cannot see that at this point. The conclusions detailed
- 6:26in a three hundred page report of an investigation by
- 6:29the US Justice Department paint a damning picture of both
- 6:32Christian's duplicity and federal prosecutors being naive that I wouldn't
- 6:40even die. I can't even say that, I don't even think.
- 6:43I won't say that the federal prosecutors are naive, and
- 6:46I won't even say they're negligent. I'll say they're just lost. Right,
- 6:52they're easily guided from up high when they get a
- 6:56call from the Attorney General's office. These dudes aren't willing
- 7:00to risk all of that static right, They're not willing
- 7:02to risk the chance of never attaining whatever political position
- 7:07they have their eye on, so they play ball. Muksey's
- 7:13office contacts Acosta's office, and then Acosta's office tells Chrisher, Hey, look,
- 7:19the ball's in your court, my boss. You know, this
- 7:22is the way we decided to go after this case.
- 7:26And the ball is in your court court, mister Krisher.
- 7:30That is such a rare occurrence for the federal government
- 7:34to pass off providence like that. The federal government wants
- 7:39that feather in their cap, right, the federal prosecutors want
- 7:42that feather in their cap. They want to take down
- 7:45the big game, like Jeffrey Epstein. Why in the hell
- 7:47would they pass it off to Krisher, unless, of course,
- 7:51there was some sort of bargain worked out behind the scenes.
- 7:59The twenty two month long investigation by the Office of
- 8:01Professional Responsibility cleared former South Florida US Attorney Alex Acosta
- 8:07and his top lieutenants of wrongdoing in connection with their
- 8:10handling of the solicious case that began more than fifteen
- 8:15years ago. And I always expected that, right, cover your ass.
- 8:19The Department of just Us is always going to protect
- 8:23their uh shitbag employees like Acosta. They're gonna do their
- 8:28best to protect them. And that's what you saw in
- 8:31this report. Right. Oh, we made some mistakes, there was
- 8:34some bad decision making, but nothing to damning right. Nothing
- 8:38that's going to get Acosta hemmed up, nothing that's going
- 8:41to get some bracelets tossed on his bitch ass, you see,
- 8:45because if they did that, then the whole entire operations
- 8:48in jeopardy. Right now, he's ratting out Mukasey or Philippe
- 8:53or whoever it was that passed these UH orders down
- 8:57to him. We know that Mukasey's off signed off on
- 9:01the deal, and we know that Mark Philippe signed off
- 9:05on the deal. So if they went after a Costa
- 9:10right and tried to hold him responsible in this report,
- 9:13they'd have to go all the way up the top.
- 9:15And the just US Department certainly isn't setting that precedent, folks.
- 9:21Since Chrishier doesn't work for the Justice Department, it offered
- 9:24no opinions about his conduct. Under investigation by the Florida
- 9:28Department of Law Enforcement for his actions, he declined to
- 9:32detail his decision making to investigators or comment for this story. Yeah, well,
- 9:37no shit, Chrisher is the last guy that should be
- 9:40opening his mouth at this point. Everybody knows that Krisher
- 9:45dropped the ball. Everybody knows that his office acted like
- 9:51the three stooges times one hundred. Everybody knows that his
- 9:58office let Jeffrey Epstein walk. The report comes one year
- 10:07after the Palm Beach Post, in an investigation called the
- 10:10First Failure, detailed how Krisher crippled his own case by
- 10:14working with the defense and treating Epstein's teenage survivors like
- 10:19prostitutes instead of victims of sexual assault. And we see
- 10:23the same strategy popping up again now right as they
- 10:27try and go hard to discredit Virginia. And it's the
- 10:32same story this time around, except for one crucial factor.
- 10:38The prosecution isn't sitting behind the scenes with Jeffrey with
- 10:42Gilay Maxwell's scumbag lawyers and working out some kind of
- 10:46ridiculous deal like the state prosecutors did. That's not going
- 10:52to happen this time around, thankfully. But the first time,
- 11:00and the strategy of calling them prostitutes and only one
- 11:04of the witnesses speaking before the grand jury, that could
- 11:08have never happened without the State Prosecutor's office signing off
- 11:12on it and being on board. So the State Prosecutor's office,
- 11:17like I've said for a very long time, should really
- 11:20bear the brunt of all of this and people like
- 11:24Chrishier and even Villa Fauna, who people who have tried
- 11:27to lionize as of late, are all responsible for this.
- 11:32In my opinion, at some point, you have to say
- 11:36to yourself, enough is enough. If you're a prosecutor here
- 11:40or you're involved in the case to set the state
- 11:42level and you know it stinks to high heaven, you
- 11:45got to come out all guns blazing and you go
- 11:48to the media, whatever it takes. If you lose your job,
- 11:53then so be it. Some things are more important in
- 11:55my opinion, and it seems like a lot of people,
- 11:59especially in the world of politics, have seemed to forgotten that.
- 12:05While investigators found no evidence that federal prosecutors violated any
- 12:09professional codes or criminal laws, they said Acosta showed extremely
- 12:14bad judgment by placing his faith in Krisher. Again, do
- 12:19you really think Acosta made that decision on his own.
- 12:23You think Acosta woke up one day and said, look,
- 12:25we're just going to pass this case off. That's it.
- 12:27I'm making that executive call. That is not what happened.
- 12:32Acosta doesn't have the power to make that call. None
- 12:35of these states attorneys do, none of these attorney generals do.
- 12:41All of that stuff gets kicked up high station chiefs,
- 12:44bureau chiefs, all the way up to the directors, all
- 12:47the way up to whoever the man is that on
- 12:49the top. That's how these things are handled. When we're
- 12:56dealing with somebody like Jeffrey Epstein, or we're dealing with
- 12:59somebody like Elaine Maxwell, it's not made. The decisions aren't
- 13:03made by mid level bureaucrats. Too sensitive, and it's a
- 13:09political hot potato. So Acosta letting Krisher run the ball
- 13:21here and control the offense was not a decision that
- 13:25was made by Acosta. If Acosta tried to make that
- 13:30decision on his own and his bosses didn't like it,
- 13:33do you really think they wouldn't have shut it down.
- 13:36Of course they would have, even after the longtime state
- 13:43attorney showed he shouldn't be considered a reliable partner. Acosta
- 13:47continued to let Krisher make key decisions about a controversial
- 13:51federal non prosecution agreement. And again it just goes to
- 13:57show you that the federal government is not as interested,
- 14:07shall we say, and going after the so called elite
- 14:12as they would be going after you. You would be
- 14:17in prison for a million years if this was any
- 14:20of you out there, but Jeffrey Epstein. Nah, we'll pass
- 14:25that off to the state's attorneys, three stooges of an office,
- 14:29and we'll let them uh yok yok yok yok yok
- 14:31themselves around the case all day, and we'll just have
- 14:34our hands off, you know, here at the federal prosecutor's office.
- 14:37We'll just kick back and let you prosecute this high
- 14:39profile case and we'll just you know, eat some sandwiches
- 14:42and act like fools. I just I cannot believe for
- 14:49one second that this is a decision that was just
- 14:52made by spineless ass bitch Assacosta. I am sorry, but
- 14:56I think that is just scratching the surface, and that
- 14:59is no nowhere near deep enough for us to get
- 15:03the answers that we need in this specific situation. Acosta
- 15:12blindly handed authority to Krisher to craft the crucial parts
- 15:15of the secret Epstein deal that allowed Epstein to escape
- 15:18a sixty count federal indictment as long as he pleaded
- 15:22guilty to two state prosecution charges. Let me read that
- 15:25for you again. Sixty count federal indictment turned into two
- 15:31state prostitution charges. You really think that Acosta has that power.
- 15:37He just waves a magic wand and all of those
- 15:39felonies go away, sixty federal indictments go away, zero chance, folks.
- 15:47And I know I'm sorry that I'm driving that point
- 15:50home so often, but I see so many people so
- 15:53many times turning their ire completely onto Costa. And as
- 15:59I've said, he does deserves it right. He deserves to
- 16:01be maligned, he deserves to be ridiculed, and he deserves
- 16:05to be hammered in the press. But it shouldn't stop there.
- 16:10Remember what I'm always talking about. The pitchforks and the
- 16:15torches need to focus their rage at the right people
- 16:18and mid level bureaucrats. While it might make us feel
- 16:22good if they get toppled, if they lose their jobs,
- 16:27if they know they get caught up in an embarrassing
- 16:30scene and they're caught, it might make us feel good,
- 16:33but at the end of the day, they'll just be
- 16:35replaced by another mid level bureaucrat until we get to
- 16:39the real problem, Until we get to the real meat
- 16:43in this dish, and that's the people that provide all
- 16:48of this money to these politicians. Until we focus our
- 16:52ir on them and our rage at them. This is
- 16:55a story that's just going to continue to replay over
- 16:58and over and over again because you can take out
- 17:02all the mid level operatives you want, like Acosta, but
- 17:06the real problem are the people above them. While investigators
- 17:16said the non prosecution agreement was unjustified and ill advised
- 17:20from the outset, any hope that it would lead to
- 17:22real punishment for Epstein disappeared when Acosta seated authority to
- 17:27Krisher as a fourth term state attorney. Krisher knew the
- 17:31rules of Florida criminal justice system. Federal prosecutors did not. Well,
- 17:37that's a cop out. I don't even want to hear that. Shit.
- 17:39This is the federal government we're talking about. They could
- 17:42have had a local attorney, state state attorney general, or
- 17:47a state prosecutor on retainer to walk them through the
- 17:54loopholes of the legal ease of the state statutes. But
- 17:58they didn't. They let Krisher and his office have the reins.
- 18:03They let Krisher and his office do the damn thing.
- 18:09And what that did was it added another layer of
- 18:13plausible deniability for the f heads at the top of
- 18:16the CIA and the FBI. Right, that's what they always
- 18:20want layer upon layer upon layer. Like any organized crime enterprise.
- 18:28Krisher used his knowledge, so loopholes were in the agreement
- 18:31that Epstein, with the help of his high powered legal team,
- 18:34was able to exploit. Look, Krisher needs to be held accountable, folks.
- 18:38He needs to go to jail. That's my honest opinion
- 18:41of this guy. He was a key cog in what
- 18:45happened here. Without him and his meddling, Epstein would it
- 18:49would have been in prison for a million years. But Krisher,
- 18:54at the behest of the federal prosecutors, put his fingers
- 18:58into the pie, mixed it all up, pulled his fingers out,
- 19:04and we were left with a shit pie. Evidence repeatedly
- 19:10showed that Krisher was predisposed to manipulating the process in
- 19:14Epstein's favor. Investigators wrote, this is all damning stuff, right,
- 19:20And while we covered the initial drop of the DOJ investigation,
- 19:27this goes deeper into the state level. And as you
- 19:31all know, I've always thought that at the state level
- 19:35was where the real big problem was here. And I
- 19:38think that Krisher needs to be arrested. And I don't
- 19:42say that lightly, right in my opinion, Chrisher needs to
- 19:45be charged with some sort of negligence in this case
- 19:51or something. There has to be a way for him
- 19:54to be punished and to face some sort of repercussions
- 19:59for his behavior. You can't be in a position like
- 20:01he was in can conduct yourself the way he did
- 20:04and get off scott free. There's no way in hell
- 20:07that that should occur, in my opinion. For instance, because
- 20:14language in the agreement wasn't clear, Epstein was housed at
- 20:18the Palm Beach County Stockade, a minimum security facility that
- 20:22was known for its lacks rules, instead of at the
- 20:24county jail, as federal prosecutors intended. So again, remember when
- 20:31we're out there and you see people yiping, yawn and
- 20:35hawing about Acosta, and they're so adamant that it's just
- 20:38a costa and it was all his fault and all
- 20:41his Remember this article that we're reading here, and refer
- 20:45back to it if you must. The state prosecutor's office
- 20:49in this case has and always will be the biggest
- 20:55problem here. Even though federal prosecutors insisted he be locked
- 21:03up continuously, Epstein was approved for work release. He was
- 21:08allowed to leave his cell for twelve hours a day,
- 21:11six days a week to work at his Florida Science Foundation,
- 21:15even after federal prosecutors provided strong evidence that the operation
- 21:20was a sham. So imagine putting yourself in Epstein's shoes, right,
- 21:27slip it around. You're the scumbag Epstein. You're You're going
- 21:30to you know, you get arrested for something. Do you
- 21:34really think you'd get the privilege of being in this stockade,
- 21:38low level, able to leave your leave the jail cell
- 21:43for twelve hours a day, six days a week, go
- 21:45to work, you know, all of that jazz. Do you
- 21:47think you would have ever been afforded those rights, especially
- 21:50being charged and convicted of the crimes Epstein was. But
- 21:57yet he gets all all these special privileges afford it
- 22:03to him by Barry Krisher. And then the Feds will say, well,
- 22:09we handed it off to Chrisher's state department. State prosecutors
- 22:14sludes their fault, and then the state prosecutors blame the
- 22:16federal prosecutors, and we have this hodgepodge of bullshit. Get
- 22:21that stupid report that comes out blah blah blah blah
- 22:24blah blah, And the only people that are holding anyone
- 22:28accountable are the local papers in Florida. It would seem
- 22:33the Palm Beach Post has been great about this. They've
- 22:36been all over this proportion of the case from the beginning,
- 22:40and they have been of the same mind as myself
- 22:44when it comes to Barry Krisher and his office. There
- 22:49are big time villains in this story. In my opinion,
- 22:53what sort of disgusting prosecutor works behind the scenes with
- 22:57a scumbag like Jeffrey Epstein to try and undermine the
- 23:03allegations of these little girls. If that doesn't get you
- 23:09fired up, folks, you better check your pulse further. Epstein
- 23:19was able to circumvent what Acosta described as one of
- 23:21the most crucial parts of the agreement. When Acosta agreed
- 23:25not to pursue federal charges, he said he wanted to
- 23:28make sure Epstein was forced to register as a sex
- 23:31offender so he couldn't continue to pray on teenage girls anymore. However,
- 23:38when Christier charged Epstein with soliciting of a minor for prostitution,
- 23:42he chose a victim who was sixteen, even though evidence
- 23:45showed at least one of the teens he molested was fourteen.
- 23:49The survivor's age made a difference. Investigators wrote, of course
- 23:54it did. The older the girl is the less the
- 23:57charges are going to be right. Them using the sixteen
- 24:01year old and not the fourteen year old got Jeffrey Epstein.
- 24:04The lesser charges meanwhile protected him and threw all of
- 24:11these little girls under the bus. And when I say
- 24:13little girls here, folks, we're not talking about eighteen or nineteen,
- 24:16we're talking about fourteen, fifteen, and sixteen. We're talking about
- 24:19the Palm Beach portion of this sixth son of a
- 24:24bitch's disgusting criminal crime spree fourteen years old and Krisher,
- 24:34this disgusting, smarmy scumbag son of a bitch, uses the
- 24:40sixteen year old instead to manipulate the ruling by the court.
- 24:49It met that it met. The Palm Beach resident, who
- 24:51also had homes in New York, New Mexico, the Virgin
- 24:55Islands in Paris, didn't have to register as a sex
- 24:58offender when he visited his sprawling ranch in New Mexico.
- 25:02The edge of consent in New Mexico is sixteen. So again,
- 25:07right back to New Mexico, all roads lead to Zoro Ranch.
- 25:12Don't they funny? How that place has still never been raided. Huh,
- 25:16But that's okay. I'm headed back there in February, I think,
- 25:21or March one or the other, probably the end of February,
- 25:24like I've thought, and I'm going to do some more investigating.
- 25:29I'm going to spend some more time at the Santa
- 25:31Fe Institute. I'm going to drive down to Los Alamos
- 25:34and get an idea of just how far that is
- 25:36from Epstein's ranch. And I have a few other irons
- 25:41in the fire down in New Mexico. As we speak,
- 25:45Hopefully I'll be able to talk to my sources down
- 25:47there again. Hopefully that occurs, Hopefully they'll be able to
- 25:51be available. And I have also been talking to a
- 25:53couple of new sources in New Mexico that certainly have
- 26:00a tale to tell. Epstein bought the ranch in New
- 26:06Mexico with this in mind. He knew the age of
- 26:09consent laws. He could have had a ranch in Nevada
- 26:12or Colorado, or he could have had a ranch anywhere.
- 26:15He chose New Mexico. A because it's close to the
- 26:19Santa Fe Institute and Los ale and b because of
- 26:23these laws. After Epstein was found hanged in a Manhattan
- 26:29jail cell. In twenty nineteen, while facing multiple charges of
- 26:33child sex trafficking, New York prosecutor said he had exploited
- 26:37teens at his ten thousand acres Zoro Ranch near Santa Fe.
- 26:42So where is the subpoenas, Where are the warrants to
- 26:46kick in the door and wave in your four or four?
- 26:49Where's any of that in Zoro Ranch? How come that's
- 26:52not occurring? And folks, by the way, if you notice,
- 26:56I haven't even talked about the nonsense that people the
- 26:59per SnO said we saw Jeffrey Epstein drive up to
- 27:02our gate. That did not occur, okay, And it makes
- 27:07everybody look like a whack job when you have these
- 27:09people out there making those sorts of allegations. So do better.
- 27:14If you're out there and you're protesting at Zoro Ranch,
- 27:17I totally support that for sure. But don't make up
- 27:19any wild, weird conspiracy theories. Okay, Please, we have enough
- 27:23real shit that's mind blowing in this case that wild
- 27:26made up conspiracy theories aren't needed. Save it for your Reddit,
- 27:33can't sleep thread, or whatever the hell it is you
- 27:35got going on. Krisher was aware that different states have
- 27:41different rules for sex registration because one of Epstein's attorneys
- 27:45explained it to him in a two thousand and six letter.
- 27:47Investigators said, Unfortunately, they said Acosta and his team didn't
- 27:53do the same research, or they didn't they ignored it.
- 28:00That's not possible. You really think they didn't do their research. Huh.
- 28:04Pretty sure they did their research, but they just ignored it.
- 28:09More significantly, Krisher misled federal prosecutors about what state charge
- 28:13would require Epstein to register as a sex offender. It
- 28:17was Epstein's own legal team that contradicted Krisher's erranus assertion
- 28:23in time, so the correct charge was filed. Imagine that
- 28:27this guy's such a bumbling idiot, such a buffoon, that
- 28:32the defense had to fix his filing charge to make
- 28:36sure it was the right one. So there was no
- 28:39prosecutors in this case the first time around, folks, Not
- 28:42at all. It was the state of Florida, the federal government,
- 28:47Jeffrey Epstein and his high profile lawyers against poor girls
- 28:51from broken homes who had nobody standing up as their surrogate,
- 28:56who had nobody standing up for their rights, had a
- 29:00court system who failed them, a prosecutor who did not
- 29:03care and unfortunately a populace who was left in the
- 29:09dark due to the negligence of the legacy media. How
- 29:15in the hell is this non prosecution agreement still standing yet?
- 29:25Despite this evidence, which at least suggested that the state
- 29:28authorities should not have been considered to be a reliable
- 29:31partner in enforcing the NPA, Acosta did not alter his
- 29:35decision about proceeding with a process that depended completely on
- 29:40state authorities for its successful execution. Investigators wrote again, I
- 29:45don't believe it was a costa. I believe and this
- 29:49is me being cynical again, right, I believe that the
- 29:52Department of Justice and the federal prosecutors' offices wanted it
- 29:59to look like this, Right. They wanted it to look
- 30:03like the state government flubbed the ball. If it ever
- 30:06came back to haunt them. They're certainly not going to
- 30:11make it look like it. They screwed the pooch, right,
- 30:15So Acosta was left holding the bag as the front man,
- 30:19for sure. But really, I've said it from the beginning.
- 30:22I truly believe that the State Prosecutors' Office's office here
- 30:27needs to be fully eviscerated. They need to be held
- 30:33to account for what they did, folks, and for the
- 30:35way they conducted themselves. There's no prosecutor's office in the
- 30:38whole entire country that should be taking the side of
- 30:41a sex offender over the fourteen fifteen, sixteen year old
- 30:45high school girls that he or she abused. That should
- 30:49never occur. These prosecutors should be the biggest advocates for
- 30:54these girls once the case is brought. They shouldn't be
- 30:57working behind the scenes to undermine them or their case.
- 31:05At first, Krisher was gung ho. That many believed Krisher
- 31:09had no interest in prosecuting Epstein for learning teens to
- 31:13his home for sex should come as no surprise to Acosta,
- 31:16who stepped down as US Labor Secretary in twenty nineteen
- 31:21after questions were raised about the sweetheart deal he helped negotiate.
- 31:26The case was brought to Acosta's office by Palm Beach
- 31:30Police Chief Michael Ryder, whose agency had uncovered Epstein's lurid
- 31:34scheme during a year long investigation, and Michael Ryder was
- 31:38one of the only heroes in this whole entire storid ordeal.
- 31:42In my opinion, Michael Ryder was one of the good
- 31:45guys he brought this case to light. He went after
- 31:51Krisher's office after they didn't want to send it up
- 31:55top after they were going easy on Epstein, and the
- 32:01chief writer was a hard charging man who really wanted
- 32:07to get to the truth of this. While Chrisher was
- 32:13initially gung ho about pursuing the case, writers said the
- 32:16state attorney's enthusiasm quickly waned after Epstein's lawyers peppered him
- 32:21with the teens MySpace pages, which they used to portray
- 32:24the girls as willing participants and worse, Krisher decided their
- 32:28claims weren't incredible, writer said, you know, I got news
- 32:31for you. If this was my kid and this asshole
- 32:35state's attorney prosecutor here tried to use their MySpace page
- 32:40to demean them and undermine their credibility, it would have
- 32:44been on. I would have gotten a contempt of court
- 32:47charge and I would have had to been escorted out
- 32:50of that court. I would have lost my shit. Furthermore,
- 32:55I would have worked as hard as possible for the
- 32:58rest of my life to make sure that Krishna and
- 33:00company were held responsible. Assistance Date attorney Lana bell Holovak
- 33:08told investigators there simply wasn't enough evidence to charge Epstein
- 33:12with unlawful sexual activity with a miner and lude and
- 33:16lascivious molestation of a miner as police wanted. Bullshit, absolute bullshit,
- 33:22a mountain load high. We're talking everests stacked on top
- 33:28of everest high. There was no evidence. Huh, unbelievable. Instead,
- 33:38she said, Instead, she said, she offered to let Epstein
- 33:41plead guilty to a charge of aggravated assault. While he
- 33:45wouldn't have to serve any jail time, he wouldn't be
- 33:47allowed to have any unsupervised contact with miners during his
- 33:51five year probation. Epstein rejected the offer, of course he did.
- 33:56Look how easy that would have been. No jail time
- 34:00and he wouldn't be allowed to hang out with unsupervised
- 34:02miners in his five years. Well that's okay, because don't worry.
- 34:08Glenn and Eva Dubin will let you hang out with
- 34:10their daughter, Uncle Jeffy. What sort of deals worthies? Right?
- 34:16We went from sixty federal accounts to aggravated assault. I mean,
- 34:23how can anyone look at this and not see that
- 34:25this is completely fed, that this has not been completely
- 34:28and utterly manipulated. But Now the house of cards is
- 34:36tumbling down, folks. We used to just we had a
- 34:40peek in the window. Now because of independent content creators
- 34:46and investigative journalists that have worked hard on this case,
- 34:50it's not just a little piece of the curtain that's
- 34:52been pulled back. We've pulled the whole damn curtain back,
- 34:56and everyone's getting a whole, big eye full of the
- 35:03filth on the other side. Later, Krisher convened a grand
- 35:08jury that indicted Epstein on a single charge of solicitation
- 35:12of prostitution. There wasn't any recognition that he paid women
- 35:16as young as fourteen, women girls as young as fourteen
- 35:19to give him massages that led to disrobing, fondling, and sex.
- 35:26We're talking fourteen years old, folks. Fourteen year old girls
- 35:30come into his house for massages, fondling, and sex. If
- 35:34you throw out everything that we've discussed after Palm Beach,
- 35:38even him delaying Maxwell and the rest of them should
- 35:41be in prison for the rest of their lives, never
- 35:44mind adding on all of the other crimes that were
- 35:46committed elsewhere and the financial crimes on top of that.
- 35:50Just what happened in Palm Beach alone, makes this guy
- 35:53and his criminal enterprise some of the most disgusting, prolific
- 35:58sex traffickers in history. But by then Ryder had already
- 36:05gone to the FBI, who had dubbed the investigation Operation
- 36:09Leap Year because police initially identified twenty nine survivors. I
- 36:15knew that it didn't really matter what the facts were
- 36:17in this case. It was pretty clear to me that
- 36:19mister Krisher did not want to prosecute this case, Ryder
- 36:23said in a deposition. For sure, Chief Rider said that
- 36:27from the jump, and that's why they went over his
- 36:29head and brought the FEDS in. And even when the
- 36:33FEDS came in, even though the FEDS at first were
- 36:35going to charge Epstein with sixty counts, the pressure started
- 36:39to come in hot and heavy from Epstein's attorneys, and
- 36:42they pulled the right levers up top. And my guess
- 36:45is Mukasey and his band of criminals put this all
- 36:49into motion because of the leverage being put on them
- 36:53and the pressure being put on them by Epstein and
- 36:57his high profile attorneys. During a May two thousand and
- 37:06six meeting, Palm Beach Police detective Joseph Riccari warned that
- 37:10Epstein's attorneys used hard knuckle tactics. Assistant US attorney Marie
- 37:14Villa Fauna told investigators Rocceri said pressure had been brought
- 37:20to Baron Krisher by Epstein's attorneys. Recalled Villafauna, who worked
- 37:24in Acosta's West Palm Beach office and spearheaded the federal investigation.
- 37:30What did I just tell you? Pressure had been brought
- 37:32right and right here they say it on by Epstein's attorneys,
- 37:36and not only by Epstein's attorneys. I'm sure they were
- 37:39buoyed by federal prosecutors. And I don't mean Acosta. I'm
- 37:43talking the big wigs on high folks. Epstein was represented
- 37:48by Harvard law professor Allen I kept my underpants on,
- 37:52Dershowitz and nationally known defense attorneys including Jay Lefkowitz and
- 37:57Gerald Lefcourt of New York and Roy Black of Miami.
- 38:02But once Krisher was involved, Epstein hired West Palm Beach
- 38:05defense attorney Jack Goldberger. You see how that works, Goldberger,
- 38:10local guy has an inn with Krisher, their buddies. Favorable
- 38:15deals come in your way, and so the wheel spins
- 38:19and the spokes gleam. According to Ricari Goldberger was hired
- 38:26to force assistant State Attorney Delia Weiss, known as an
- 38:30aggressive prosecutor, off the case. Because her husband worked in
- 38:34Goldberger's firm, Weiss had to step aside. Again, the manipulation
- 38:41of the legal system by Epstein's attorneys is right there
- 38:46in your face. They made these moves behind the scenes.
- 38:49They used loopholes to try and get Weiss off, god
- 38:52Her bumped, and then pursued the case the way they
- 38:55wanted to pursue it without the interference of Weiss. But
- 39:03investigators said there was likely another reason Goldberger was asked
- 39:07to join the defense team. The longtime defense attorney had
- 39:10a relationship with Krisher. Of course he did. That's how
- 39:13this hall works. Don't you know what you don't think
- 39:16Christian Everdell Kelane, Maxwell's lawyer, an ex prosecutor in New York,
- 39:20has a relationship with the prosecutors. I'm sure he does.
- 39:25Epstein's wealth enabled him to hire multiple attorneys who had
- 39:29pre existing personal connections to some of the government attorneys
- 39:32involved in his case in the State Attorney's office, in
- 39:35the USAO and elsewhere in the department. They wrote based
- 39:41on the attorneys Epstein selected to represent him. A reasonable
- 39:45inference can be drawn that Epstein believed that hiring attorneys
- 39:49with relationships to the prosecutors would be beneficial to him,
- 39:54and of course it would be. That's how this all works, right,
- 39:57That's how this works. Guys have these relationships. That's what
- 40:02you're paying for as well. You're not just paying for
- 40:04their legal advice right in the courtroom, you're paying for
- 40:07all of their connections as well. Recognizing that she was
- 40:14up against aggressive legal heavyweights, Villa Fauna alerted her top
- 40:18bosses in Miami, including a Costa, that they would be
- 40:21inundated with calls about the case. Villa Fauna said that
- 40:27she had never before asked to meet with executive management
- 40:30about initiating a case, but the allegations that Epstein had
- 40:34improperly influenced the state Attorney's office greatly troubled her. Investigators
- 40:39wrote over time, other top officials in the US Attorney's
- 40:44Office came to share Villa Fauna's view that Krisher had
- 40:49bowed to pressure. Look again, I'm not going to lionize
- 40:56Villa Fauna, but I won't demonize her either. She was
- 40:58the only one that had add any sort of plan here,
- 41:02the only one that was really going hard, the only
- 41:05one that really wanted to send Jeffrey Epstein up the river,
- 41:09it looks like. So I'm not going to demonize her either.
- 41:14But at the same time, if it was me and
- 41:18I was in her position, I would have rolled over
- 41:22played whistleblower, no matter the cost it would have had
- 41:25to my career. And I think that is a black
- 41:31mark against her. Right in a case like this, And
- 41:33as a prosecutor, your number one goal should be to
- 41:36protect people. And if that doesn't occur because of pressure
- 41:39from on high, then you have to step up and
- 41:41you have to put an end to it. Right. You
- 41:48have to be the one to make the step, to
- 41:50take the step to stop the corruption, to stop the nonsense.
- 41:56And Villafana didn't do that. But what I will say
- 41:58is this, from all of the stuff we've heard, all
- 42:01of the reports we have read and seen, she seems
- 42:03to be the only one in that office that truly tried.
- 42:06So I definitely will give her that. All right, folks,
- 42:10that's the end of part one of this article. We're
- 42:13going to pick up part two tonight during the Daily Drop.
- 42:19I didn't it'll probably run another half hour or so,
- 42:22so I didn't want this episode to be too long.
- 42:25So well, we're gonna end it here and we will

- 42:58All right, folks, I'll be back later on tonight for
- 43:01part two of this story and the Daily Drop. Hope
- 43:07you all have a fantastic Sunday and we will pick
- 43:10up where we left off later on. Hello everyone, and
- 43:15welcome to the Jeffrey Epstein Show. I'm your host, Bobby Capucci,
- 43:20and this is a morning update. What's up everybody in
- 43:25Greetings from Sin City. I don't know about you, folks,
- 43:29but I'm sitting here and I was watching this helicopter
- 43:31on Mars and I'm blown away by it. Maybe I'm
- 43:35just old at this point, you know, I'm forty one.
- 43:38I remember sitting around watching the shuttles. Take off and thinking,
- 43:43oh my gosh, this is amazing. Now fast forward to
- 43:47the year twenty twenty one and we have a helicopter
- 43:50that was sent to Mars that just took flight. That
- 43:56is absolutely amazing to me that we have come that far.
- 44:03I know, there's a lot of people that don't care about,
- 44:06you know, the space and investigating space or trying to
- 44:12populate the stars and stuff like that. There's people that
- 44:16will say, well, spend the money here on Earth, fixed Earth.
- 44:18I agree we should be doing both, though I think
- 44:21we're capable of doing both, because it's very amazing to
- 44:27think that right now, as we speak, there is a
- 44:31helicopter flying around on Mars. I just I don't know,
- 44:36I don't know. I can't wrap my mind around that.
- 44:38It's just so cool to me. I'm such a sci
- 44:40fi fantasy nerd anyway though, that that kind of stuff
- 44:44really gets me going, so that I've been sitting here
- 44:47watching it for I don't know, two hours or so,
- 44:50watching different coverage and some of the video pictures blah
- 44:54blah blah, and it's just just amazing to me, I mean,
- 44:57absolutely positively amazing that there's a helicopter flying around on
- 45:03Mars right now. I don't know. I just can't get
- 45:05my mind wrapped around that. All right. So today, what
- 45:10we're going to talk about here on the program is
- 45:13a new report from the Daily News about the decision
- 45:18to not pursue Epstein in two thousand and sixteen. We
- 45:24know that this prosecution of Epstein from the very beginning
- 45:27was absolute gobbage, hot stinking gobbage, folks. Nobody ever nailed
- 45:34it down, nobody ever went hard in the paint. In fact,
- 45:37they handed him a non prosecution agreement that is amazingly horrible,
- 45:46and nobody from his criminal enterprise went to jail until Maxwell.
- 45:56With all of the evidence that we have that is
- 45:58just in the circumstantial pile, there's no reason that that
- 46:07should have occurred. People that were working with Epstein, people
- 46:14that allegedly were working with Epstein, they should have all
- 46:17been brought in the first time around. But the prosecution
- 46:26didn't really care, did they. They were more interested in
- 46:30painting a picture for the grand jury of these girls
- 46:33being prostitutes and less than right. Oh they kissed a
- 46:39boy on MySpace. Oh, they took a hit a weed,
- 46:42whole weed, what was that? Oh? They were drinking beer? Oh, no,
- 46:47they're drinking beers. I mean, the whole thing from the
- 46:51very beginning was just absolutely ridiculous and the type of
- 46:58thing you would see in some sort of beef a
- 47:00late night movie on like one of Showtimes, like many
- 47:07auxiliary channels. Right, this is a storyline that's not even
- 47:11believable in real life, but yet here we are dealing
- 47:15with it. And now in this new report, we're gonna
- 47:21get a little bit more of a look behind the
- 47:24scenes as to why Epstein was not pursued in twenty
- 47:28and sixteen. This article is from the New York Daily
- 47:33News dot com headline Manhattan federal prosecutors confirmed decision to
- 47:39not pursue Jeffrey Epstein in two thousand and sixteen. This
- 47:45article was authored by Stephen Rex Brown. Manhattan federal prosecutors
- 47:52confirmed in court papers made public Friday that they chose
- 47:56not to pursue Jeffrey Epstein in twenty and sixteen, with
- 48:00one former assistant US attorney saying she felt horrible after
- 48:04learning of the perverts abuse of the criminal justice system
- 48:08in Florida. You know, this seems to be an ongoing
- 48:11theme with prosecutors and police officers and people involved in
- 48:17this case. Oh, we feel horrible, we have a lot
- 48:20of sorrow about what you went through, but there's no
- 48:23recourse for you. There's nothing we can do. We can't
- 48:26provide you with justice. That's basically what everybody at every
- 48:31single turn has said. Doesn't seem to be changing now either,
- 48:36does it. Same old actors, same old script. The disclosure
- 48:46by the Southern District of New York came in a
- 48:48two hundred and twelve page filing responding to Glenn Maxwell's
- 48:52legal challenges to an indictment charging her with grooming underage
- 48:56Epstein's survivors in the mid nineteen nineties lying under oath.
- 49:02So this is just I mean, I don't understand how
- 49:09they can come to terms with something like that. How
- 49:13do you sit in your office and look at your
- 49:15colleagues and say, yeah, nah, we're not gonna prosecute Nah,
- 49:18this is this is this case doesn't warrant that. Meanwhile,
- 49:24if you go to a protest these days, and I
- 49:26don't care if you're on the left or the right,
- 49:28you can expect a visit from from the FBI. Right, Oh,
- 49:32you're at a protest, how dare you go and express
- 49:36your rights? Meanwhile, Jeffrey Epstein's friends. They don't get a look.
- 49:43Nobody shows up to talk to them ever. Oh, you're
- 49:48accusing somebody of violating you sexually. Nah, we'll get to
- 49:51that when we get to it. Flip side, you were
- 49:54at a political rally. You belong in guantanamo. You're an insurgent.
- 50:00Everything's upside down and down is up, up is down,
- 50:03left is right, right is left. Who the hell knows anymore?
- 50:06Where we're at. One thing should be locked and loaded
- 50:14and for damn sure, and that is people like Maxwell
- 50:17and Epstein should never be getting the homie hookup. The
- 50:25Daily News exclusively revealed last year that lawyers for epstein
- 50:30accusers met with the Assistant US Attorney Amanda Kramer in
- 50:34twenty sixteen and urged her to open an investigation of
- 50:38the notorious sex offender. She didn't have any time for that.
- 50:41Right twenty sixteen, mister preet still in charge. They're going
- 50:46full bore with all of their politics at that point, right,
- 50:51the one storied SDNY nothing more than a political arm
- 50:58of the elite. Now ache, how disgusting, how discouraging. And
- 51:04these are the people that we're putting all of our
- 51:06eggs in the basket with to bring this case home. Huh,
- 51:11And you wonder why I'm so cynical. The SDNY is
- 51:18not this storied office. They're not this group of hard
- 51:22charging prosecutors. They're more like Chuck Rhodes from Billions. Sources
- 51:31told the News that they also urged her to investigate Maxwell,
- 51:35but prosecutors wrote in a new filing that Epstein was
- 51:38the main subject of the February twenty ninth, twenty sixteen
- 51:42sit down in a conference room at SDNY headquarters in
- 51:46Lower Manhattan. Look, if you're having a sit down about Epstein,
- 51:50you're having a sit down about Maxwell as well. That's
- 51:53how connected they were, right, So it should never be
- 51:58one without the other. When we're talking about this criminal conspiracy.
- 52:05When they're talking about just going after one person, then
- 52:09you know that the fix is in because one person
- 52:13couldn't have done what this enterprise did. It takes more
- 52:18than one to longer this money. It takes more than
- 52:20one to groom these girls. It takes more than one
- 52:24to facilitate all of this stuff. And every single person
- 52:28who had their fingers in the pie, every single person
- 52:31who enriched themselves from these ill gotten gains, must be
- 52:37held accountable. You know, they talk with a good game
- 52:42about wanting to restore faith in the institutions and in
- 52:45the justice system, but then they go off and do
- 52:47some wild shit like always, and everybody's left shaking their
- 52:51head and talking about what a travesty it is. Rinse
- 52:56and repeat over and over and over again, and nothing
- 52:59ever gets done, no one's ever held accountable, and changes
- 53:03are never made. How long are we going to get
- 53:08caught up in this repeat cycle. We need real changes,
- 53:14and we need people like Epstein and Maxwell to be
- 53:19pursued to the very ends of the earth, if that's
- 53:22what it takes. The focus of the meeting was on Epstein,
- 53:29and Kramer understood that the attorneys were advocating that the
- 53:33USAO United States Attorney's Office SDNY opened an investigation into Epstein.
- 53:40Assistant US Attorney Allison Moe wrote during the meeting, the
- 53:44attorneys referenced multiple individuals who worked for and or helped Epstein,
- 53:50including Maxwell, but the attorneys primarily focused their presentation on Epstein. Well,
- 53:57that's because Epstein was the head of the dragon in
- 54:00this regard, right, And if you cut the head off,
- 54:04then you can go in and get the body. That's
- 54:05how they usually do it. So they were working from
- 54:09the top down when it comes to Epstein, bring in Epstein,
- 54:12and then wrap up all of his associates and a
- 54:15nice little bow under conspiracy charges. I'm guessing that's the
- 54:18way they were going, even if they don't admit it.
- 54:22You know, Look, the government said that they had no
- 54:24plans of adding new charges to Maxwell, and then here
- 54:27we are with the superseded indictment. I don't take anything
- 54:32the government says to me at face value either. Folks
- 54:34believe it. I've said it once, I'll say it a
- 54:36million times. We're dealing with a pit of vipers on
- 54:39both sides here. Kramer recently spoke to an FBI agent
- 54:45in prosecutors on the Maxwell case about the twenty sixteen meeting.
- 54:49Notes from the phone call, which were included in the
- 54:52new filing, referred to Kramer by her initials AK. Kramer
- 54:57had the impression that the lawyers who came in to
- 55:00meet with AK were disorganized the notes read. She suspected
- 55:04the survivors lawyers wanted the FEDS to open a criminal
- 55:07investigation because it would give them an upper hand in
- 55:10civil litigation with Epstein. The documents reveal, Oh yeah, so
- 55:14that's what it was. Huh ak, you feel so bad.
- 55:18But in other words, it was a money grab. Let's
- 55:21just call it what it is. The sdn Y under
- 55:23pret by the way, let's remember pre pret, my best friend.
- 55:27Pret are the ones that did all of this. They're
- 55:31the ones that's basically that said. According to these documents,
- 55:35I didn't say it. They did that. The reason you're
- 55:37pining for this is because you want a better chance
- 55:40in your civil case. Boy, does the SDNY look stupid now?
- 55:44Or what? How's all that egg on the face there, SDNY,
- 55:50Do you want some catch up with your crow? Three
- 55:55years later, they indict the guy. Maybe if you would
- 55:58have paid attention all the way in the nineties when
- 56:01people were telling you all the way through his whole
- 56:04reign of terror, you guys would have been able to
- 56:07stop him. But you had no interest in that, did you.
- 56:13After the meeting, Kramer met with her then supervisor Dan Stein.
- 56:17The prosecutor recalled being concerned that Florida FBI agents were
- 56:21allegedly not pleased with how an earlier investigation into Epstein concluded, Oh, well,
- 56:27that's very magnanimous, very nice of them. Okay, very very
- 56:31very nice of them, very magnanimous. I mean, we were
- 56:39happy with the way the investigation went down, but we're
- 56:42just gonna put it on the back burner and forget it.
- 56:44Ever happened? Does it? Where's the integrity? I mean, I
- 56:50get it. You don't want to lose your job, right,
- 56:52FBI agents a good job, probably making close to one
- 56:55hundred g's a year or something. Nobody wants to lose
- 56:58a gig like that. But at what point does it
- 57:01become a situation where you're sacrificing your own morality for
- 57:06a few bucks. So Kramer contacted the FBIS then head
- 57:13of Sex Crimes against Children in New York, Sean Watson,
- 57:17and asked him to speak with FBI agents in Florida.
- 57:20Kramer wanted Watson to ask colleagues in the Sunshine State
- 57:23whether they were unhappy with the outcome and felt like
- 57:27justice had not been served. According to the notes, hold
- 57:32on a minute. If you're a station chief or you're
- 57:36a field boss, I get it, you want to talk
- 57:39to your employees and get a feel right and see
- 57:41what's what. But let's be real, you're the one that's
- 57:44making this choice. Don't try and pass the buck. If
- 57:49I was this agent, forget sending an email, I'd be
- 57:52at your door, knock, knock, knock. Hey, did you get
- 57:56that email I sent you? Hey, Hey, I got some
- 57:57problems over here. We're gonna need to handle this. But no,
- 58:02we'll just forget about it. I'll send them. I sent
- 58:04them an email, but I got no response, so we
- 58:06just forgot about it. I mean, what talk about dereliction
- 58:10of duty. The inquiry hit a dead end after that.
- 58:15No Epstein investigation was opened. In response to the twenty
- 58:19sixteen meeting. Sewn never called Ak back. AK doesn't recall
- 58:24ever affirmatively following up with Sean, but he took the
- 58:28radio silence to mean that the FBI agents in Florida
- 58:31did not express dissatisfaction. The notes read, Is this really?
- 58:38This is how the FBI works? No wonder all of
- 58:41these different things happened to America. These guys don't know
- 58:45their ass from their elbow. I didn't hear back, so
- 58:50I just forgot about it. No follow up, no phone call,
- 58:53no knock on the door. Now, just forget about it.
- 58:56We'll let the most prolific sex criminal in modern times
- 59:00at the very least just get away with it. Ak
- 59:05and this Sean character both should have their pensions yanked.
- 59:12Epstein survivors say the pervert used his wealth and influence
- 59:15to avoid federal charges in Miami in two thousand and eight,
- 59:19despite evidence he ran an underage sex trafficking ring. Epstein
- 59:24pleaded guilty to state prostitution charges in a highly unusual
- 59:28sweetheart deal with then Southern District of Florida US Attorney
- 59:32Alex Acosta. We know that that whole entire episode was
- 59:42maybe one of the lowest points in the history of
- 59:44the United States judicial system. And I mean that letting
- 59:49this guy off on that NPA is absolutely there's not
- 59:55even words to describe how disgusting it is. Epstein only
- 1:00:01served thirteen months in Palm Beach County jail, including home releases,
- 1:00:06then allegedly continue to abuse miners. The episode remains a
- 1:00:10major embarrassment for the just US Department. Oh well, you
- 1:00:14tag it on to all the major embarrassments that the
- 1:00:17Justice Department has under its belt, and then you wonder
- 1:00:20why I'm so critical of them. They need to get
- 1:00:24their act together, and if they can't do it under
- 1:00:27current management, under current leadership, then somebody who knows what
- 1:00:30the hell they're doing needs to be brought in, or
- 1:00:34maybe just disband the whole entire thing and start from
- 1:00:37the bottom up. And then while you're at it, you
- 1:00:43can fire everybody at the CIA and just bring Edward
- 1:00:47Snowden and Julian assanj over to take care of that role.
- 1:00:53The Sordid Saga was highlighted in a bombshell Miami Herald
- 1:00:56investigation published in November twenty eighteen, which prompted Manhattan prosecutors
- 1:01:02to open the Epstein probe that resulted in his arrest
- 1:01:05for underage sex trafficking. You know, it's crazy. They needed
- 1:01:10the embarrassment and the egg on the face of an
- 1:01:13investigation being opened by a newspaper to spur them into motion.
- 1:01:19Remember we're not talking about a robber here. We're not
- 1:01:22talking about somebody who was involved in, you know, some
- 1:01:25kind of financial scheme. He was, but that's not his
- 1:01:28main crime. We're talking about a prolific child trafficker. And
- 1:01:35nobody thought it would be a good idea to open
- 1:01:38an investigation. You had to wait till the Miami Herald
- 1:01:41absolutely exposed you and embarrassed you. That's promising Kramer Smoke
- 1:01:52spoke with her SDNY colleagues after the story broke. Part
- 1:01:55of the reason Ak felt horrible when reading the Miami
- 1:01:58Herald article was because Ak took no action after calling
- 1:02:02Sean Watson. The notes read, oh yeah, well, I guess
- 1:02:05it's nice to feel sorry the next day. Right. Guess what, Ak,
- 1:02:08You're not getting let off the hook. You were in
- 1:02:10a position to help. You were in a position to
- 1:02:12stop this. None of us are. We're just common citizens
- 1:02:15who are pissed off. You had a chance to stop it,
- 1:02:17and you didn't. You should feel bad about it. Ak
- 1:02:25remembers telling them that she felt terrible reading the Miami
- 1:02:28Herald series. You know what, You're an FBI agent. You
- 1:02:31couldn't pull the files from Florida and read the accounts
- 1:02:33of them girls themselves. I don't believe that. Stop with
- 1:02:37the lip service, Stop with the crocodile tears. I'm over
- 1:02:41here playing the world's smallest violin for you there. Ak
- 1:02:48sources told the News that Kramer had a second meeting
- 1:02:50with attorneys for Epstein survivors in this summer of twenty sixteen,
- 1:02:55after Maxwell was deposed in connection with a civil suit
- 1:02:58brought by Epstein's survi for Ginia Roberts survivors. Lawyers David
- 1:03:03Boyce and Stan Pottinger urged Kramer to consider charging Maxwell
- 1:03:08with lying under oath. The sources said, oh yeah, and
- 1:03:12she didn't do it. It took four more years for other
- 1:03:18agents to come in and clean up your mess. It
- 1:03:20took Allison Moe and the prosecution that's currently working on
- 1:03:24this to clean up your mess at least a little bit.
- 1:03:29And these are the people that we're relying on to
- 1:03:32stop terrorism and narco trafficking and all of that stuff. Folks,
- 1:03:37I'm sure you all feel real secure. Do me a
- 1:03:39favor and make sure you lock your doors tonight. Prosecutors
- 1:03:46wrote in the new filing that the second meeting never happened,
- 1:03:49though Kramer did have a phone call with Pottinger on
- 1:03:52May second, twenty sixteen. This, you know what, They've been
- 1:03:56nothing but devious the whole time. Let's not forget the
- 1:03:59year long chain of emails that disappeared with Acosta and
- 1:04:03his bosses over all of this shit. You know, it's
- 1:04:06to the point now where I can't help but just
- 1:04:08being utterly cynical and sarcastic about the whole entire government
- 1:04:13portion of this. They are absolutely disgusting. Kramer does not
- 1:04:25recall the details of that conversation, nor is the government
- 1:04:28aware of any notes or other records documenting the substance
- 1:04:31of the call. Moe wrote in the filing. So there's
- 1:04:35no record of it. Nobody knows anything. No one's the wiser,
- 1:04:38and the government can have the stance of, oh, this
- 1:04:42never happened. We don't know what you're talking about. SDNY
- 1:04:50wrote it could find no records indicating Kramer communicated with
- 1:04:53attorneys for Epstein and Maxwell accusers after May third, twenty sixteen,
- 1:05:00Maxwell's Maxwell is accused of lying in depositions in April
- 1:05:03and July twenty and sixteen. Her legal team argues survivor's
- 1:05:08attorneys were improperly in cahoots with the Feds, compromising aspects
- 1:05:12of her criminal case. She has pleaded not guilty. Oh yeah,
- 1:05:16they were so in kahoots with the feds, her lawyers
- 1:05:20that all of these prosecutions came in twenty sixteen. Right,
- 1:05:24do me a favor. Maxwell's legal team go back to
- 1:05:29the drawing board and start all over, because it's starting
- 1:05:32to look like you guys straight up suck. If you'd
