  And in this episode, we're going to be talking about space X and
• 2:24
  what kind of schedule they have for the very short future of
• 2:29
  June, June. Well, on May 30th, they just
• 2:33
  launched Bob behnken and Doug Hurley to the International
• 2:36
  Space Station on a very successful demo to Mission.
• 2:41
  That's with the Falcon 9 rocket with a crew dragon on top of it.
• 2:46
  So that's 11 down on May 30th. And then, on June 4th, they had
• 2:52
  a startling admission, the staring like eight mission.
• 2:54
  That was successful as well. So they launched 60 starlink
• 2:58
  satellites on June 4th. That's only A few days after the
• 3:01
  May 30th crew Dragon demo to launch.
• 3:04
  And now coming up on June 12th is the starlink 9 launch another
• 3:11
  60. Starlink satellites will be
• 3:13
  launched into orbit and then June 24th.
• 3:16
  Just 12 days after that 12 days, they launch another 60 starlink
• 3:22
  satellites to orbit, okay? If that's not enough, there's
• 3:25
  another launched, June 30th of a Falcon 9 rocket.

  This is for the GPS. 3sv 03 Columbus launch.
• 3:35
  It's going from SLC 40 and Cape Canaveral, Florida.
• 3:39
  And there's so many launches for SpaceX this month and he kind of
• 3:45
  got to ask yourself. Why are they doing this so fast?
• 3:50
  Why are they launching? So many starlink satellites in
• 3:54
  such a short amount of time? And the reason is because they
• 3:58
  can because they have the Technology.
• 4:00
  They built the rockets that can do this.
• 4:03
  The reason why they have the Falcon 9 is because it's
• 4:06
  reusable, they can launch starlink one week and then two
• 4:11
  weeks later they can take the same rocket and refurbish it and
• 4:15
  launch more starlink Rockets, you know how cool is that then
• 4:20
  you know after that they can do the GPS 3 launch on the 30th
• 4:26
  they're not going to reuse the same rocket from the 12th in the
• 4:28
  24th. Just just so, you know, but that
• 4:31
  is a possibility in the future. And actually the funny thing is
• 4:37
  three-star, length, launches one month, that'll be a new record,
• 4:42
  but the fact that they launched people to the space station,
• 4:46
  just a few days before June and they're getting right back on
• 4:50
  track to launch more and more and more things.
• 4:54
  How many launches can SpaceX do theoretically in one month?
• 5:00
  Well, eventually SpaceX wants to be able to launch a thousand
• 5:05
  people in a day. You know, 100 people in a
• 5:11
  Starship, right? So 10 Starship, seventh day,
• 5:13
  they want to be able to take it back, bring it back down, launch
• 5:16
  10 launch 100 people up, bring the booster back down launch.
• 5:21
  Another hundred people do that 10 times in a day launch.
• 5:23
  A hundred people ten times in orbit, right?
• 5:25
  So a thousand people in a day. That's crazy.
• 5:29
  That's a lot of People in one day, and this is the beginning,
• 5:33
  this Falcon 9 reusable rocket, where they launched it, four,
• 5:39
  five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten times in a month.
• 5:43
  Well, that's the precursor to the Starship.
• 5:46
  They have to make sure that the technology is absolutely perfect
• 5:50
  on Falcon 9 so they can reuse it and they learn from the data
• 5:55
  sets that they get from these launches.
• 5:57
  And then they take them over to the Starship.

  Yes. And for which kind of blew up
• 6:02
  DSM-5, which is coming up soon, which we hope in this is a
• 6:06
  thing. I getting the facts from these
• 6:08
  next few days, June 8th. The roads closed where they're
• 6:13
  testing the new starship June 10th as well.

  June 11th, and June 12. So Hans, who is the lead
• 6:23
  engineer at SpaceX said, that they want to have some hop tests
• 6:27
  in the near future and 50 meter hop tests.
• 6:31
  It's possible that we may be able to see a hop test by June.
• 6:35
  12th is it probable? Well they have to do a lot of
• 6:37
  testing before they actually get it to hop but they have June 8th
• 6:42
  and June 10th. The back updates are June 11th
• 6:44
  of June 12. So June 8th of June 10th, if the
• 6:47
  static fire test goes well the eight possible.
• 6:51
  They do a launch on the 10th, they do a 150-meter hop but it's
• 6:56
  not probable. So they have to make sure that
• 6:59
  everything works right. And once the 10th comes and
• 7:02
  goes, then, you know, it's possible that there will be
• 7:05
  another word closure soon down the line.
• 7:08
  Now, that being said, these Falcon 9 launch is, man, it's
• 7:12
  crazy. There's a lot of technology in
• 7:15
  these rockets that can be sort of reused for upcoming launches.
• 7:21
  You know, the rocket engines, they can be, you know, they'll
• 7:26
  be using similar rocket engines in this starlink or in the
• 7:30
  Starship as they do in the starlink and the Falcon 9 launch
• 7:33
  is so It's cool that they're doing all these launches in one
• 7:37
  month. It's really cool that they are
• 7:39
  but they want to do more, they want to have customers
• 7:42
  continuously paying for launches, they want to be
• 7:45
  reusable Rockets, right? So they already have that they
• 7:49
  want to be reliable. They're pretty freakin reliable
• 7:52
  at this point and they want to be able to make money
• 7:55
  consistently so they can develop Starship for the ultimate goal
• 8:00
  of SpaceX which is to land people on Mars.
• 8:04
  That's why they're doing all these Watches.
• 8:05
  They're making sure that, you know, hey, we can do it, we
• 8:07
  might as well and also we know that our Rockets are reliable.
• 8:12
  So let's go do this thing and make sense.
