- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're getting right back to
- 0:06Speaker 1: Bill Clinton and his transcript from his conversation with Congress.
- 0:13Speaker 1: We had additional members join us in the interim. Could
- 0:16Speaker 1: that member just identify themselves? Answer, absolutely. Hello, Mr. President.
- 0:22Speaker 1: My name's Nick Langworthy. I'm representing New York's 23rd Congressional District.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Buffalo suburbs at rural southern tier. Thank you for being
- 0:32Speaker 1: here today. Question by a lawyer. Could we just, for
- 0:36Speaker 1: the record, do a time check? Answer. We've got about
- 0:40Speaker 1: five minutes left in this round. That's right. Answer. Thank
- 0:45Speaker 1: you so much. Bill Clinton. I think it's fine. Congressman,
- 0:49Speaker 1: how are you? Question. Thank you, Mr. President. Thank you
- 0:53Speaker 1: for being here and for your time today. Thank you
- 0:56Speaker 1: for your service. As you know, in the files that
- 0:58Speaker 1: were released, there were several photos, included you. And we
- 1:02Speaker 1: have an exhibit here that's just one of the photos,
- 1:04Speaker 1: Exhibit K, Minority Exhibit K. Bill Clinton, yep. Question. Well,
- 1:11Speaker 1: half that passed around. What we're trying to get at
- 1:13Speaker 1: is some context for the public on whether you remember
- 1:16Speaker 1: this photo and any details you may be able to
- 1:19Speaker 1: provide us about it. Do you recall the details of
- 1:22Speaker 1: this photo or recall the photo being taken? Answer, no.
- 1:26Speaker 1: I don't think I ever knew that photo was taken. Question, okay.
- 1:30Speaker 1: For those of us who can't see it, it's a
- 1:32Speaker 1: photo of you in a hot tub. There's a person
- 1:34Speaker 1: next to you here. Do you remember where it was taken?
- 1:37Speaker 1: As with whom? Answer, I do. Question, where was it taken? Answer,
- 1:42Speaker 1: I'm almost sure that this was taken. I think there's
- 1:44Speaker 1: an adjacent photograph, which you probably have, that if people
- 1:48Speaker 1: thought they would feel that someone was trying to con them,
- 1:51Speaker 1: showing them this picture. But anyway, this picture was taken
- 1:54Speaker 1: in Brunei. We flew one night on the trip to Asia,
- 1:58Speaker 1: that last very long leg. Question, okay, you said we,
- 2:02Speaker 1: who's that including? Clinton, well, my tell team, that was working.
- 2:07Speaker 1: On the AIDS issue, Mr. Epstein was there, and Ms. Maxwell,
- 2:11Speaker 1: but anyway, we got to the end of, the end
- 2:13Speaker 1: of the flight, was Brunei. It's a tiny place, but
- 2:16Speaker 1: a very wealthy one. The Sultan of Brunei was a
- 2:19Speaker 1: man that I had gotten to know well in my
- 2:21Speaker 1: eight years as president. His involvement with the International Matters
- 2:25Speaker 1: was basically to join Asian Pacific Economic Leaders Conference, which
- 2:30Speaker 1: I started and which he attended. He was very proud
- 2:33Speaker 1: of that. And his time came to host it. You
- 2:37Speaker 1: do these things in rotation. It came either at the
- 2:40Speaker 1: very end of my term or maybe the next year. Anyway,
- 2:44Speaker 1: when he knew I was coming and he said he
- 2:46Speaker 1: wanted to help with my AIDS initiative and he invited
- 2:48Speaker 1: me to stay there, he said, but I want you
- 2:51Speaker 1: to stay at this hotel. And I hope that you'll
- 2:54Speaker 1: use our pool. So I did. And then I got
- 2:56Speaker 1: out and went to bed exhausted. Question, just for the record,
- 3:00Speaker 1: there's another picture that also shows this as part of
- 3:03Speaker 1: a larger pool area. Do you all have that so
- 3:05Speaker 1: he can refresh his recollection with respect to that? Clinton,
- 3:09Speaker 1: we should have it. It's quite enlightening. Then there's some
- 3:12Speaker 1: back and forth about the picture. Question, thanks. I just
- 3:17Speaker 1: wanted to make sure that he knew the content. Clinton's lawyer,
- 3:21Speaker 1: were there other people in the pool or hot tub
- 3:23Speaker 1: with you as well? Clinton, I don't think there was
- 3:25Speaker 1: anybody in the hot tub. I then forgotten that there
- 3:28Speaker 1: was anybody in the hot tub, but it was big. Question,
- 3:33Speaker 1: he's asking you about the pool area. Clinton, inaudible. It
- 3:37Speaker 1: appears in this photo there's a girl over here. There's someone.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Clinton jumps in. Yeah, I don't know who that is. Question,
- 3:44Speaker 1: but he's also asking, in the pool area, were there
- 3:47Speaker 1: other individuals? Answer, yeah, I don't know who that is. Question, okay,
- 3:52Speaker 1: so you don't know. Answer, no. And then there were
- 3:56Speaker 1: other people in the pool. Question, so do you remember?
- 3:59Speaker 1: Were they under 18? Would you know? Answer, no. Question,
- 4:02Speaker 1: were they part of your traveling party? He's asking you.
- 4:05Speaker 1: His lawyer jumps in. Answer by Clinton, yeah, they were.
- 4:09Speaker 1: I think everybody that was part of our party. It
- 4:12Speaker 1: was late at night or late-ish. And I also believe
- 4:15Speaker 1: that there was secret service agent there at the other
- 4:18Speaker 1: end of the pool. Question, okay. And was this in public? Answer, no.
- 4:23Speaker 1: It was a hotel room. And he wanted us to
- 4:25Speaker 1: stay there. And the hole, the water, this big pool
- 4:28Speaker 1: was on the same floor. And there were several suites.
- 4:31Speaker 1: So we went out. I swam around. I sat in
- 4:34Speaker 1: the hot tub for five minutes or whatever it was.
- 4:36Speaker 1: And I got up and went to bed. Question, and
- 4:39Speaker 1: then I have to ask you this. Did you engage
- 4:42Speaker 1: in any sexual activity with this person? Answer, no. Question, okay.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Thank you. Okay. Question, and that ends this round, and
- 4:50Speaker 1: we can go off record. They go off, and now
- 4:53Speaker 1: they're back. Jack Emmer, all right, we'll go back on
- 4:55Speaker 1: the record. Thank you for that. I appreciate it. Clinton's lawyers.
- 5:01Speaker 1: And we'll start with inaudible. Question now from an unnamed speaker. Wonderful. Hello, Mr. President.
- 5:10Speaker 1: How are you? Bill Clinton, fine. Question, good. Thank you
- 5:13Speaker 1: so much for being with us today. Clinton, excuse me
- 5:17Speaker 1: for being hoarse. Question, oh, you're fine, Mr. President. Mr. President,
- 5:22Speaker 1: I want to make my questions as quick and as
- 5:24Speaker 1: painless as possible so we can move on with the
- 5:26Speaker 1: day and hopefully not keep you here for too long.
- 5:30Speaker 1: First question I have for you, Mr. President, have you
- 5:33Speaker 1: ever lied in a deposition? Clinton, no. Question, have you
- 5:37Speaker 1: ever lied while under oath? Clinton, no. Question, thank you.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Were you personally aware that Jeffrey Epstein visited the White
- 5:43Speaker 1: House 17 times during your presidency? Answer, at the time
- 5:47Speaker 1: it happened. Question, yes. Answer, no, not at the time
- 5:50Speaker 1: it happened. I was not. Question, so Jeffrey Epstein never
- 5:54Speaker 1: asked to meet you personally in the White House while
- 5:56Speaker 1: you were president during those 17 visits? Answer, not to
- 5:59Speaker 1: my knowledge. Question, would you know who he was meeting with? Answer, no.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I didn't know he was coming. Question, is that standard
- 6:07Speaker 1: protocol for the president not to know of someone who
- 6:10Speaker 1: is visiting the White House 17 times? Clinton's lawyer jumps in.
- 6:14Speaker 1: So wait, excuse me, just to be clear. The White
- 6:17Speaker 1: House office, which has 1,600 employees? You're speaking of the
- 6:20Speaker 1: White House office, yeah? Answer, yes. Question, okay. Bill Clinton, no.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I think that most presidents don't have a clue who's
- 6:27Speaker 1: coming in every day, unless it's somebody of personal interest
- 6:30Speaker 1: to the president. Question, yes. And you did have a
- 6:34Speaker 1: familiar relationship with Epstein, is that correct? Answer, no. I
- 6:37Speaker 1: wasn't aware I'd ever met Epstein when I was president. Question,
- 6:41Speaker 1: while you were president. We're trying to establish if Jeffrey
- 6:44Speaker 1: Epstein was a foreign, or potentially even a domestic asset
- 6:47Speaker 1: of some kind. Do you have any reason to believe
- 6:50Speaker 1: that he was trying to seek access to classified material,
- 6:53Speaker 1: intelligence reports, or sensitive government information? Answer, no, I knew
- 6:59Speaker 1: nothing about this story until it came up. I was
- 7:02Speaker 1: glad to see that the picture of gets cut off. Yes,
- 7:06Speaker 1: and Mr. President, sorry to interrupt you, Mr. President, since
- 7:09Speaker 1: knowing Jeffrey Epstein and knowing that he had visited the
- 7:12Speaker 1: White House, were there any conversations from your associates any
- 7:15Speaker 1: White House staff or anyone familiar with the meetings that
- 7:18Speaker 1: said he was seeking detailed information about government relationships? His
- 7:23Speaker 1: lawyer jumps in. Does that question relate to back in
- 7:26Speaker 1: the day or now? What's the time of the question?
- 7:30Speaker 1: Question I'm asking since you have been aware anytime since
- 7:34Speaker 1: after you were aware that Jeffrey Epstein visited the White
- 7:37Speaker 1: House 17 times. Has there been any conversation with anyone?
- 7:42Speaker 1: That you were aware that Jeffrey Epstein was seeking sensitive
- 7:45Speaker 1: government information? Lawyer jumps in. She's asking to the best
- 7:49Speaker 1: of your recollection. Clinton. To the best of my knowledge, no. Question. Yes, sir.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Thank you. And moving on. At any time, while you
- 7:59Speaker 1: were traveling on any aircraft, owned, leased, or otherwise affiliated
- 8:02Speaker 1: with Jeffrey Epstein, did you engage in sexual relations or
- 8:06Speaker 1: sexual activity with anyone other than your wife? Answer. No. Question. No.
- 8:11Speaker 1: During any such flight, did you witness or have knowledge
- 8:14Speaker 1: of any other individual engaging in sexual activities with female passengers? Answer, no. Question,
- 8:21Speaker 1: in 2002, you participated in a 10-day multi-country trip to
- 8:24Speaker 1: Africa while traveling on a Boeing 727 owned by Mr. Epstein.
- 8:29Speaker 1: The trip was organized by Glenn Maxwell. Do you recall
- 8:32Speaker 1: this trip, Mr. President? Answer, I recall the trip, but
- 8:36Speaker 1: I don't know that it was organized by Glenn Maxwell. Speaker, yes, sir. Question,
- 8:40Speaker 1: I believe we were going to places that I needed
- 8:42Speaker 1: to go for my work in Africa. Question, yes sir.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Internal FBI records describe the aircraft as having a section
- 8:49Speaker 1: with couches adjacent to, with a sliding glass door leading
- 8:53Speaker 1: to another compartment. There was a bed. Are you familiar
- 8:56Speaker 1: with the layout of this aircraft that you traveled on? Answer,
- 8:59Speaker 1: I'm familiar with the fact that there was a bench
- 9:02Speaker 1: to turn into a bed at the end of the
- 9:03Speaker 1: passenger seats. The fact that he's playing coy here is hilarious. Considering...
- 9:09Speaker 1: He had a favorite seat on the plane. Question, and
- 9:12Speaker 1: no other bed you were familiar with? Did you ever
- 9:15Speaker 1: go into any other part of the aircraft with a
- 9:17Speaker 1: bed that you perhaps lied on or utilized? Answer, I'm
- 9:21Speaker 1: familiar with the bench. It turned into a bed. I
- 9:24Speaker 1: don't believe I ever went into the back section. Question,
- 9:28Speaker 1: and at any time while traveling on such aircraft, do
- 9:31Speaker 1: you remember utilizing either the bench that laid? I'll keep
- 9:34Speaker 1: it as one option for now. Do you remember utilizing
- 9:37Speaker 1: the bench as a bed? Was it laid down as
- 9:39Speaker 1: a bed? Answer if you remember, his lawyer says. Clinton,
- 9:43Speaker 1: I don't remember, but that doesn't mean I didn't. I'm
- 9:46Speaker 1: familiar with the note. Question, yes, sir. FBI internal records
- 9:50Speaker 1: relay testimony from Dr. Greg Bledsoe, who participated on the
- 9:54Speaker 1: 2002 Africa trip. Did Dr. Bledsoe describe multiple millionaires? Dr.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Bledsoe doesn't. describe multiple millionaires and billionaires on the plane.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Do you remember any of the names of those individuals,
- 10:06Speaker 1: potentially even the actor Kevin Spacey? Clinton, yeah, Kevin was
- 10:10Speaker 1: on the plane. Question, he also describes multiple young women
- 10:14Speaker 1: were present on the flights and that Maxwell appeared to
- 10:17Speaker 1: be in a position over the girls on the plane.
- 10:20Speaker 1: and was directing the girls. Can you describe the purpose
- 10:22Speaker 1: of these women participating in this multi-country trip? His lawyer
- 10:28Speaker 1: jumps in, objection to the form of the question. No
- 10:32Speaker 1: objection to you asking the president what he saw, observed,
- 10:35Speaker 1: and heard, but he can't possibly speak to what Maxwell,
- 10:37Speaker 1: what was in her mind. Question, did you witness Mr. President, Ms. Maxwell,
- 10:42Speaker 1: appearing to be in the position, over the other girls
- 10:45Speaker 1: on the plane, and possibly directing the girls? Answer, well,
- 10:49Speaker 1: I thought that she was Epstein's top aide and that
- 10:51Speaker 1: she was basically in charge of what happened. Question, what
- 10:54Speaker 1: did happen, Mr. President? Answer, I don't know. I've already
- 10:57Speaker 1: told you this. I'll tell it again. I never saw
- 11:00Speaker 1: anybody do anything wrong. I thought that there were flight attendants. Question,
- 11:05Speaker 1: do flight attendants typically wear tank tops and jeans? Answer,
- 11:09Speaker 1: they don't all wear uniforms on private planes. Question, yes, sir.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Most are dressed probably pretty business class. His lawyer jumps in,
- 11:18Speaker 1: so his testimony was, with respect to private aircrafts, people
- 11:22Speaker 1: are not wearing uniforms. Question, Dr. Bledsoe described in Audible
- 11:27Speaker 1: one of the girls serving as a masseuse. At any point,
- 11:30Speaker 1: did you or other male passengers receive a massage from
- 11:34Speaker 1: this young woman or any other young woman as described
- 11:37Speaker 1: as a masseuse? Answer, well, I've seen the picture that
- 11:41Speaker 1: shows that in an airport waiting area, one of them
- 11:45Speaker 1: was massaging my neck. That's all I've seen. Question, have
- 11:48Speaker 1: you received more than one massage from these trips with Mr.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Epstein and young girls that were present? Clinton, I don't
- 11:55Speaker 1: recall them, but the problem I remember from that trip
- 11:58Speaker 1: was that my neck had spasmed and I was in
- 12:01Speaker 1: and so they offered to help me and I let
- 12:03Speaker 1: them help. Question, she asked whether or not you recalled
- 12:07Speaker 1: any other massage. Bill Clinton, no, I do not. All right, folks,
- 12:11Speaker 1: we're going to wrap up right here. And in the
- 12:13Speaker 1: next episode, we're going to pick up where we left off.
- 12:16Speaker 1: All the information that goes with this episode can be
- 12:18Speaker 1: found in the description box.
