  SPEAKER_00: You know, we've had a few really big shifts over the last couple of weeks astrologically.

  SPEAKER_00: Mercury is now direct.

  SPEAKER_00: Uranus went retrograde.

  SPEAKER_00: Venus is in Libra, and just over the last few days, Mars changed signs.

  SPEAKER_00: Mars left the sign of Gemini,
• 1:19
  SPEAKER_00: where it was hanging out most of the summer,
• 1:22
  SPEAKER_00: and it has now moved into the sign of Cancer.

  SPEAKER_00: And I'm wondering if you all are feeling that transition.
• 1:28
  SPEAKER_00: I know I am.
• 1:30
  SPEAKER_00: It's actually wild to me how much I am feeling that.
• 1:34
  SPEAKER_00: Now, of course, Mars in Cancer is known to bring some bumpy emotions.
• 1:40
  SPEAKER_00: Intense or heated emotions can often come up, and so can passive-aggressive behavior.

  SPEAKER_00: That can be one of the negative effects.
• 1:48
  SPEAKER_00: It's also possible,
• 1:49
  SPEAKER_00: though,
• 1:50
  SPEAKER_00: that you could find yourself advocating for yourself more or speaking up about how

  SPEAKER_00: you really feel.
• 1:58
  SPEAKER_00: And that could be a really good thing.

  SPEAKER_00: But it's also likely,

  SPEAKER_00: as Mars moves through Cancer,
• 2:04
  SPEAKER_00: that you could feel pulled more over the next several weeks to direct your energy

  SPEAKER_00: toward doing things with Cancerian themes,

  SPEAKER_00: like spending time with family,

  SPEAKER_00: or going to visit family,

  SPEAKER_00: going on family excursions,

  SPEAKER_00: or doing things around your home,
• 2:24
  SPEAKER_00: like nesting things.

  SPEAKER_00: Maybe you want to start cooking more,

  SPEAKER_00: or you want to spruce up the decor of your house or your apartment,

  SPEAKER_00: Or you have some DIY projects that you suddenly have all sorts of energy to do

  SPEAKER_00: where maybe you didn't have the energy to do them before or didn't care before.

  SPEAKER_00: That's what's actually happening to me.

  SPEAKER_00: Over this weekend,
• 2:48
  SPEAKER_00: I have suddenly started to see my house with new eyes and things that I have been
• 2:54
  SPEAKER_00: blind to for I don't even know how long are suddenly glaring and just in my face.

  SPEAKER_00: Things like these wood stairs are too loud or I need stair treads to,
• 3:07
  SPEAKER_00: you know,
• 3:08
  SPEAKER_00: absorb the sound and make the stairwell look cozier.
• 3:11
  SPEAKER_00: I need a welcome mat for my front porch.
• 3:13
  SPEAKER_00: This one is so beat up.
• 3:15
  SPEAKER_00: And by the way, I'm going to sweep off my porch.
• 3:18
  SPEAKER_00: There are leaves coming down now.
• 3:21
  SPEAKER_00: This rug in the living room is getting dirty.
• 3:23
  SPEAKER_00: I need a steam cleaner.
• 3:25
  SPEAKER_00: What about this bathroom?
• 3:27
  SPEAKER_00: Why is the paint still this color?
• 3:28
  SPEAKER_00: This color that I hate after all these years.
• 3:31
  SPEAKER_00: I can't believe I haven't done anything about that yet.
• 3:35
  SPEAKER_00: Now, I'm a cancer son, so it's not like I never think about home.
• 3:39
  SPEAKER_00: I do.
• 3:40
  SPEAKER_00: But I do think that my particular cancer energy is directed more towards people
• 3:47
  SPEAKER_00: than to my material environment.
• 3:49
  SPEAKER_00: That's just kind of the way it manifests for me.
• 3:52
  SPEAKER_00: But suddenly, my physical home surroundings feel imperative somehow.
• 3:59
  SPEAKER_00: And some of that could be coming from Venus in Libra because Venus in Libra loves to beautify things.

  SPEAKER_00: Interior design really comes up a lot with that one.
• 4:10
  SPEAKER_00: So to have both of these things going on at once is impactful energy for making your home look nicer.
• 4:18
  SPEAKER_00: It's a great time to do that.
• 4:20
  SPEAKER_00: But I know I don't have time right now to be working on all these things,
• 4:24
  SPEAKER_00: nor should I be spending the money,
• 4:25
  SPEAKER_00: but it almost feels like I can't help it.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm compelled.
• 4:29
  SPEAKER_00: to do it.
• 4:30
  SPEAKER_00: It feels very important suddenly in this moment that I make everything in my house
• 4:35
  SPEAKER_00: feel pretty,
• 4:36
  SPEAKER_00: cozy,
• 4:37
  SPEAKER_00: and warm,
• 4:38
  SPEAKER_00: which makes perfect sense because there is nothing cozier than cancer energy.
• 4:45
  SPEAKER_00: A cozy home environment is the epitome of cancer energy.
• 4:50
  SPEAKER_00: And what's funny is that I didn't even make this association for some reason until
• 4:56
  SPEAKER_00: pretty much right before this recording.
• 4:59
  SPEAKER_00: I knew Mars had moved into Cancer, of course, because I'm looking at the skies every day.

  SPEAKER_00: But on a personal level, the sign of Cancer rules my 10th house.
• 5:09
  SPEAKER_00: So what I had been thinking about up until this point consciously was,
• 5:14
  SPEAKER_00: was how I might be directing my energy into my career.
• 5:18
  SPEAKER_00: And I definitely am doing that.
• 5:20
  SPEAKER_00: Things are really busy on that front and both new and existing stuff is coming up,
• 5:27
  SPEAKER_00: which is why I mostly don't have time to be working on home improvement,
• 5:31
  SPEAKER_00: even though that's what I want to be doing.
• 5:33
  SPEAKER_00: So things are picking up there.
• 5:35
  SPEAKER_00: And I always think it's interesting how we can have this dual set of experiences around a transit.
• 5:42
  SPEAKER_00: Like you're feeling the way that the transit is impacting you personally based on
• 5:48
  SPEAKER_00: the house that it's going through in your chart and the aspect that it's making to
• 5:54
  SPEAKER_00: your natal planets or aspects it's making to your natal planets and all of that.

  SPEAKER_00: So in the case that I just talked about with Mars,
• 6:03
  SPEAKER_00: you know,
• 6:03
  SPEAKER_00: that would be Mars transiting my 10th house in Cancer.
• 6:07
  SPEAKER_00: But then you're also feeling it in another way.

  SPEAKER_00: And that's just the more general experience that everyone on the planet is having,
• 6:16
  SPEAKER_00: which is just the collective experience of having Mars transit through the sign of Cancer.

  SPEAKER_00: and the blending of what Mars in Cancer feels like on the most general level.

  SPEAKER_00: So we get both our own personal experience and the collective one at the exact same time.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay,

  SPEAKER_00: we're actually not here to talk about Mars in Cancer,

  SPEAKER_00: today,

  SPEAKER_00: or any of that.

  SPEAKER_00: We are here to continue our conversation from last week about the Arabic parts or the Arabic lots.

  SPEAKER_00: we discussed the part of fortune,

  SPEAKER_00: which is one of the key indicators in a natal chart of prosperity,

  SPEAKER_00: and how and where you are best able to find those things for yourself.

  SPEAKER_00: we're going to be talking about the other of probably the two most important of the

  SPEAKER_00: Arabic parts,
• 7:17
  SPEAKER_00: which is the part of spirit,
• 7:19
  SPEAKER_00: which is about where and how to find spiritual growth,
• 7:23
  SPEAKER_00: where and how your soul can expand.

  SPEAKER_00: where and how you become a wiser, higher version of yourself.

  SPEAKER_00: let's take a few moments to break down the part of fortune and the part of spirit a
• 8:07
  SPEAKER_00: bit more so we can fully understand the differences between these two parts.

  SPEAKER_00: The lot of fortunes energy feels something like the following.

  SPEAKER_00: Hey,
• 8:19
  SPEAKER_00: go do this thing because given the other things going on in your chart,
• 8:24
  SPEAKER_00: like specifically your sun,
• 8:27
  SPEAKER_00: moon,
• 8:27
  SPEAKER_00: and ascendant placements,
• 8:29
  SPEAKER_00: this other new thing over here,
• 8:32
  SPEAKER_00: this new part is going to allow you to combine everything that you get from that sun,
• 8:38
  SPEAKER_00: moon,
• 8:39
  SPEAKER_00: and ascendant and use it all in a way that's satisfying and fulfilling for you.

  SPEAKER_00: Doing this thing will make you happy.
• 8:48
  SPEAKER_00: And because it makes you happy, you're probably going to do well at it and be successful.

  SPEAKER_00: so as I've said before,

  SPEAKER_00: it's about doing something or having encounters or experiences that come from the world.

  SPEAKER_00: They come from outside of yourself.

  SPEAKER_00: It's a way of engaging in the world in a way that's really good for you.

  SPEAKER_00: The lot of spirit is different.
• 9:11
  SPEAKER_00: It's not as external or as outwardly focused.
• 9:16
  SPEAKER_00: And instead, it's inwardly focused.
• 9:19
  SPEAKER_00: It's not as much about where your success out in the world on a material level or a
• 9:26
  SPEAKER_00: physical level is going to be.
• 9:28
  SPEAKER_00: It's more about your soul's spiritual journey and your personal evolution.
• 9:35
  SPEAKER_00: And it shows you, based on the sign and house that it's in,
• 9:40
  SPEAKER_00: what you can do to tap into your own highest wisdom and achieve spiritual growth.
• 9:46
  SPEAKER_00: It's where your spiritual growth tends to come from and how it comes to you,
• 9:53
  SPEAKER_00: or perhaps how you can find it.
• 9:56
  SPEAKER_00: So again,
• 9:57
  SPEAKER_00: part of fortune,
• 9:59
  SPEAKER_00: where your success and fulfillment in the world come from,
• 10:03
  SPEAKER_00: where you can reap the most reward for your efforts.

  SPEAKER_00: And the part of spirit, where your spiritual growth and evolution come from.
• 10:13
  SPEAKER_00: Another perhaps simpler way to say this might be that the difference between
• 10:20
  SPEAKER_00: finding material success in life versus finding spiritual meaning in life is,
• 10:26
  SPEAKER_00: you know,
• 10:26
  SPEAKER_00: the part of fortune versus the part of spirit.
• 10:29
  SPEAKER_00: And it's possible,
• 10:30
  SPEAKER_00: by the way,
• 10:31
  SPEAKER_00: that they could be similar or that there could be some overlap between the two things.
• 10:37
  SPEAKER_00: That could certainly happen.
• 10:38
  SPEAKER_00: You could get similar themes out of looking at both the part of fortune and the part of spirit.
• 10:45
  SPEAKER_00: But hopefully you understand the difference.
• 10:48
  SPEAKER_00: So last week,
• 10:49
  SPEAKER_00: I went into a lot of detail talking about what the part of fortune would mean in
• 10:55
  SPEAKER_00: each of the 12 houses,
• 10:57
  SPEAKER_00: as well as each of the 12 signs.
• 10:59
  SPEAKER_00: And I talked about how the house your part of fortune was in would tell you about
• 11:04
  SPEAKER_00: the types of activities that would be most likely to make you successful and happy
• 11:09
  SPEAKER_00: and fulfilled and all of that.
• 11:11
  SPEAKER_00: And that the sign it was in would tell you about the way you should go about doing that thing.
• 11:17
  SPEAKER_00: Like how you should act on those things or how you should go about pursuing those things.

  SPEAKER_00: For example,

  SPEAKER_00: if your part of fortune was in the fourth house,
• 11:26
  SPEAKER_00: then you would probably be someone who was going to either find a lot of
• 11:31
  SPEAKER_00: fulfillment and happiness and satisfaction through their family life or their home life,

  SPEAKER_00: or who would find a lot of success and worldly security through their family.
• 11:42
  SPEAKER_00: Like maybe they have close family members who would bring them a lot of security or something.

  SPEAKER_00: Or,
• 11:47
  SPEAKER_00: alternatively,
• 11:48
  SPEAKER_00: someone who could achieve a lot of success by working in industries or doing things
• 11:53
  SPEAKER_00: related to the idea of home or homes,
• 11:56
  SPEAKER_00: like being in real estate,
• 11:57
  SPEAKER_00: for example.
• 11:58
  SPEAKER_00: Or maybe both, or maybe, you know, some combination of all these things.

  SPEAKER_00: But whatever the case,
• 12:03
  SPEAKER_00: certainly this would be someone who would or should get a lot of well-being and
• 12:08
  SPEAKER_00: enjoyment from something.
• 12:10
  SPEAKER_00: their family or home or some idea of home.
• 12:14
  SPEAKER_00: Home and family and roots are an integral part of their well-being and happiness.
• 12:20
  SPEAKER_00: Now,
• 12:21
  SPEAKER_00: this is an idea of the part of their life or the most success or joy it can be
• 12:26
  SPEAKER_00: found in and the types of activities or endeavors you'd be looking at.
• 12:31
  SPEAKER_00: But the sign tells you how you should be or how to go about it.
• 12:38
  SPEAKER_00: So if that part of fortune,
• 12:40
  SPEAKER_00: in addition to being in the fourth house,
• 12:42
  SPEAKER_00: were also in the sign of Aquarius,
• 12:45
  SPEAKER_00: that would tell you that in order to find this joy,
• 12:48
  SPEAKER_00: this happiness and satisfaction and success that you seek,
• 12:52
  SPEAKER_00: you would be well served to God.
• 12:55
  SPEAKER_00: Go about your family life in an unconventional,
• 12:59
  SPEAKER_00: non-traditional sort of way,
• 13:00
  SPEAKER_00: because Aquarius is very forward-thinking,
• 13:03
  SPEAKER_00: very unconventional,
• 13:05
  SPEAKER_00: and it doesn't care much for social norms.

  SPEAKER_00: It likes to be unique and see things a different way and think outside the box.

  SPEAKER_00: It's a revolutionary Aquarius is.

  SPEAKER_00: So if this is how you go about your family life,

  SPEAKER_00: maybe you love family life,
• 13:25
  SPEAKER_00: but you do it unconventionally or futuristically.

  SPEAKER_00: Maybe you have a very unique or futuristic or cutting edge parenting style.

  SPEAKER_00: Maybe your parenting style or your views on parenting are really ahead of their time.

  SPEAKER_00: Or maybe you have an unconventional marriage arrangement or partnership arrangement.

  SPEAKER_00: Maybe you're in a long-distance partnership, for instance.

  SPEAKER_00: Or maybe you're in an open marriage or some other thing.

  SPEAKER_00: Maybe you are a single parent who has decided to take in or adopt a group of
• 14:00
  SPEAKER_00: teenagers who,
• 14:02
  SPEAKER_00: you know,
• 14:02
  SPEAKER_00: needed a home.
• 14:03
  SPEAKER_00: And it's not the traditional route you thought you'd go to have a family,
• 14:07
  SPEAKER_00: but it sure is fulfilling for you.
• 14:09
  SPEAKER_00: Maybe you don't love the isolation of having,
• 14:13
  SPEAKER_00: you know,
• 14:13
  SPEAKER_00: a nuclear family living all by itself in one house.
• 14:16
  SPEAKER_00: And so you get a big piece of property and get together with a bunch of your
• 14:20
  SPEAKER_00: friends and you all build cottages on that property and live together as one big
• 14:26
  SPEAKER_00: extended family.
• 14:27
  SPEAKER_00: And you all help take care of each other's kids or help take care of each other's
• 14:32
  SPEAKER_00: aging parents or grow your own food in the community garden or any number of things.
• 14:38
  SPEAKER_00: But the idea is that it's not conventional.
• 14:41
  SPEAKER_00: Your family doesn't look like everyone else's in society right now.
• 14:47
  SPEAKER_00: Maybe what you're doing is looking at some other new and exciting way of doing things.

  SPEAKER_00: Or not.
• 14:55
  SPEAKER_00: I mean,
• 14:55
  SPEAKER_00: it could also just be an indicator that your little family,
• 14:59
  SPEAKER_00: your little household is futuristic or technological or kind of quirky or just has
• 15:06
  SPEAKER_00: a lot of Aquarian values.
• 15:08
  SPEAKER_00: You know, I think, this is just coming to me, I think it could also be about...
• 15:14
  SPEAKER_00: the physical home itself.
• 15:16
  SPEAKER_00: Like your home is really joyful for you,
• 15:20
  SPEAKER_00: something that you love,
• 15:22
  SPEAKER_00: but the structure itself or the home itself is unconventional.
• 15:27
  SPEAKER_00: Like I just saw this TikTok recently where this man had converted an old passenger airplane,
• 15:33
  SPEAKER_00: like a commercial jetliner or a Boeing 737 or something,
• 15:38
  SPEAKER_00: into a home.
• 15:40
  SPEAKER_00: He lives in the airplane, but he's converted into a house.
• 15:44
  SPEAKER_00: Or you see those shows on TV about people who build these amazing tree houses that
• 15:49
  SPEAKER_00: they live in or tiny homes or all these unique and clever types of ideas.
• 15:54
  SPEAKER_00: I think that would fit here too.
• 15:56
  SPEAKER_00: Smart homes also kind of come to mind.
• 15:59
  SPEAKER_00: And maybe someone would even be an inventor or some kind of real mover and shaker
• 16:06
  SPEAKER_00: in an industry that has something to do with smart homes and revolutionizes the way
• 16:11
  SPEAKER_00: people live in their homes.
• 16:13
  SPEAKER_00: Anyway, I digress.
• 16:14
  SPEAKER_00: I think I'm getting off track here.
• 16:16
  SPEAKER_00: But the reason I say all of this now,
• 16:19
  SPEAKER_00: because I know we already talked about the part of fortune in the last episode,
• 16:23
  SPEAKER_00: is just to remind you how we're blending the house number with the sign.
• 16:29
  SPEAKER_00: And this week, I want you to try and
• 16:33
  SPEAKER_00: Do that a bit on your own with the part of spirit if you feel like you can.
• 16:38
  SPEAKER_00: I'd like you to take all of those house descriptions that I talked about in the
• 16:44
  SPEAKER_00: last episode and apply those same life areas,
• 16:48
  SPEAKER_00: those same activities to the part of spirit.
• 16:52
  SPEAKER_00: Those same activities I talked about in the last episode,
• 16:56
  SPEAKER_00: wherever your part of spirit is in your chart,
• 16:59
  SPEAKER_00: instead of that being where you're likeliest to find worldly or material or outward success,

  SPEAKER_00: I want you to reframe those house descriptions with the part of spirit and imagine
• 17:10
  SPEAKER_00: that this is where you are likeliest to find spiritual growth in this lifetime.
• 17:17
  SPEAKER_00: What part of your life, what types of activities or endeavors are going to make your soul grow?
• 17:25
  SPEAKER_00: What types of things are going to motivate you and drive you to evolve and expand spiritually?
• 17:32
  SPEAKER_00: So what I recommend that you do is grab a notebook or something,
• 17:37
  SPEAKER_00: whatever you use to write stuff down or type out notes or whatever.
• 17:42
  SPEAKER_00: And once you've located your part of spirit,
• 17:44
  SPEAKER_00: assuming you have,
• 17:46
  SPEAKER_00: write out something like the following statement.
• 17:50
  SPEAKER_00: My part of spirit is in the blank house.
• 17:54
  SPEAKER_00: Obviously, fill in the blank with the house number.
• 17:57
  SPEAKER_00: And therefore,
• 17:58
  SPEAKER_00: my spirit grows,
• 18:00
  SPEAKER_00: evolves,
• 18:01
  SPEAKER_00: and expands when I,
• 18:04
  SPEAKER_00: and then fill in the blank with the activities or endeavors that are associated
• 18:09
  SPEAKER_00: with that house.
• 18:10
  SPEAKER_00: You'll want to feel out all the different ones and see what feels right to you.
• 18:14
  SPEAKER_00: After that,
• 18:15
  SPEAKER_00: you'll want to write,
• 18:17
  SPEAKER_00: I am best serving myself when I do those things by being,
• 18:24
  SPEAKER_00: and then fill in that blank with the characteristics that you associate with that
• 18:30
  SPEAKER_00: sign that your part of spirit is in.
• 18:33
  SPEAKER_00: Now, let's give this a try here on the show.
• 18:36
  SPEAKER_00: We can use my part of spirit, which is in the ninth house in the sign of Gemini.
• 18:42
  SPEAKER_00: So for me, this exercise would sound like this.
• 18:46
  SPEAKER_00: My part of spirit is in the ninth house,
• 18:50
  SPEAKER_00: and therefore my soul grows,
• 18:53
  SPEAKER_00: evolves,
• 18:54
  SPEAKER_00: and expands,
• 18:56
  SPEAKER_00: and I can access my highest,
• 18:58
  SPEAKER_00: wisest self when I engage in higher learning,
• 19:02
  SPEAKER_00: teaching or mentoring,
• 19:04
  SPEAKER_00: philosophical pursuits of any or all types,
• 19:07
  SPEAKER_00: writing and publishing,
• 19:09
  SPEAKER_00: broadcasting or public speaking,
• 19:12
  SPEAKER_00: long-distance travel,
• 19:14
  SPEAKER_00: and or exploration and adventure.
• 19:18
  SPEAKER_00: I serve myself best in these areas when I approach these activities with curiosity,
• 19:25
  SPEAKER_00: remain adaptable,
• 19:27
  SPEAKER_00: exchange ideas with others,
• 19:29
  SPEAKER_00: and approach people with warmth and friendliness.
