Transcript
- 0:12Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to Pink Shade. It's Tuesday, It's TLC Tuesday.
- 0:17Speaker 1: It's a brand new, shiny new season of ninety Day.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Kay yeah, Kimberly, Hello.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Hello, I'm so excited. I don't hate any of these
- 0:27Speaker 2: people yet, you don't give me a few episodes.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Don't hate anybody yet? Okay, good, it's hardly Still do
- 0:35Speaker 1: you have an owl behind you on that shelf?
- 0:38Speaker 2: I do, okay, because we had a Craig Melvin episode
- 0:42Speaker 2: of Dateline, and I don't have a Craig Melvin prayer candle, so,
- 0:47Speaker 2: and I was gonna put a Lester Holt prayer candle in,
- 0:50Speaker 2: but I thought, I can't just replace one black man
- 0:53Speaker 2: for another black man. That's terrible. That's terrible. Yes, but
- 0:58Speaker 2: all the other hosts, it's I don't know. So I
- 1:01Speaker 2: put an owl there because I love my owls, my murderous,
- 1:05Speaker 2: murderous owls.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Yeah, let me ask you about this. First of all,
- 1:10Speaker 1: owls are not murderous, so don't let I didn't let
- 1:12Speaker 1: that slip. But second of all, Craig melboyne. Okay. So
- 1:17Speaker 1: this past Friday, Dateline did a recap of Alec Murdoch
- 1:22Speaker 1: and so When I saw that, I was like, damn it,
- 1:23Speaker 1: already know every single thing there is to know about this.
- 1:26Speaker 1: I'm not going to watch this dateline. I assume you
- 1:28Speaker 1: guys are going to cover another dateline for your Wednesday episode.
- 1:32Speaker 2: That is false, Mary Payne. We covered the episode. We
- 1:37Speaker 2: always will cover Murdoch, I don't care how many times
- 1:40Speaker 2: we've done it. And there was new information and new
- 1:42Speaker 2: interviews at the end.
- 1:44Speaker 1: So I should have watched for the end.
- 1:46Speaker 2: You should have watched to the end. Dateline is fast.
- 1:50Speaker 2: They can have a verdict come out on Friday afternoon.
- 1:53Speaker 2: They have a brand new episode Friday night.
- 1:55Speaker 1: That's true. That's true.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Okay, so though it takes me a week to make
- 2:00Speaker 2: one podcast episode, they can do a full TV episode
- 2:04Speaker 2: in five hours.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Question though, how far into the dayline episode do I
- 2:10Speaker 1: have to watch before I get the new information? Because
- 2:13Speaker 1: I started to watch it and turned it off.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Well, it's totally re edited and there is new stuff
- 2:18Speaker 2: in there, because they don't even just redo the whole episode.
- 2:22Speaker 2: And I know because I was working off my old
- 2:23Speaker 2: notes because I thought I could just copy and paste
- 2:27Speaker 2: my old notes. Yes, no, they take stuff out, they
- 2:30Speaker 2: add stuff in. It's w WNG. I know, so I
- 2:37Speaker 2: would say the last fifteen minutes.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Okay, okay, yeah, all right, I'm going to do that now.
- 2:43Speaker 1: I want everybody to today's Tuesday, but you could go
- 2:47Speaker 1: back one day, turn back time in the words of
- 2:50Speaker 1: share and go and listen to Keisha and I uh
- 2:54Speaker 1: talking about Neighbors, which is an HBO Max six part series,
- 2:57Speaker 1: and we did episodes three and four yesterday. It's very funny.
- 3:00Speaker 1: We're waiting for Lalu to come back. Everybody knows that,
- 3:03Speaker 1: but they're also Yesterday was released on the Free Feed.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I interviewed with Ross Matthews, who's going to be doing
- 3:09Speaker 1: this single life tell All that Kimberly and I will
- 3:12Speaker 1: be covering. You'll get that episode Friday. I loved talking
- 3:15Speaker 1: to Ross. He's so fun, so nuic, but he's so light.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Although when he said there were two Geno's at that
- 3:22Speaker 2: tell All, I was terrified. I was like, please tell me,
- 3:26Speaker 2: you mean that metaphorically and not there's been some sort
- 3:30Speaker 2: of science experiment where someone has cloned Gino because that
- 3:36Speaker 2: would be too much, and then we can have a
- 3:38Speaker 2: Fedora Gino and a backwards faceful hat Gino.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, he said that he really flipped a switch
- 3:45Speaker 1: when Jasmine came out.
- 3:46Speaker 2: I know he read he's like a rabid dog.
- 3:50Speaker 1: But it's scary dark side. In the words of what
- 3:53Speaker 1: we say on The Valley dark Side, Danny, this is yeah,
- 3:57Speaker 1: this is dark side Gino. Yeah.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Yeah, Normally it's just creepy Gino. It's not like there's
- 4:03Speaker 2: good Gino like right to play off of. It's not.
- 4:06Speaker 2: It's still creepy bread squeezing Gino or evil trying to
- 4:13Speaker 2: get a woman deported Gino. They're both bad, it's my point.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Yeah, they're both bad. And I we have seen lots
- 4:22Speaker 1: of reports that the girl, that thirty year old girl
- 4:26Speaker 1: that he's going out with, is just like a super fan.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I think she's a why else why else would
- 4:34Speaker 2: she be with.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Gino daddy issues? Like, I don't know, I know.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Liz, Liz is phoning in. I was loved your interview
- 4:46Speaker 2: with Ross Matthews. I thought he was so cute with Anna,
- 4:49Speaker 2: And I'm so excited because I'm gonna watch the tell
- 4:51Speaker 2: All tonight and I'm just so excited.
- 4:54Speaker 1: I know. Yeah, So we're recording this on Monday, so
- 4:56Speaker 1: the tell All will be tonight. Everybody watch it. And yeah,
- 5:01Speaker 1: I'm just hoping my reposting of my interview with Ross
- 5:03Speaker 1: will you will bump up my Instagram a little bit.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Also, he's actually going to watch Platfil because he sounded
- 5:12Speaker 2: very interested. I know, I know he's hitching it well,
- 5:16Speaker 2: and he sounded legitimately like he was going to watch it.
- 5:19Speaker 1: I know I'm gonna I'm good. I had to d
- 5:21Speaker 1: M him today, so I'm gonna give him a minute
- 5:24Speaker 1: because like he doesn't actually like know, we were not
- 5:26Speaker 1: actually friends, but we're friends in my mind. So I'm
- 5:28Speaker 1: going to give him a few days before I bug
- 5:31Speaker 1: him about Platifil. Maybe I'll wait till the reunion stuff
- 5:33Speaker 1: is over the tell all and then bug him about Platfil.
- 5:37Speaker 1: I want to announce, and I've said this, but I
- 5:40Speaker 1: want you guys to know we are doing a big
- 5:43Speaker 1: Bunkie and backdoor friends as Amy Archer's Little Miss Recap
- 5:47Speaker 1: podcast big meetup. So Amy will have her co host there.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I will have my co host there, Kimberly Keisha. It
- 5:54Speaker 1: will be October tenth, TVD on the venue, TVD on
- 5:59Speaker 1: the hotel room block, but we are working on it.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I want to get a room block, so people can
- 6:03Speaker 1: maybe get a little break on the hotel pricing in
- 6:06Speaker 1: New York. And then also like people can like minded
- 6:08Speaker 1: people can be in a hotel together.
- 6:10Speaker 2: That's fine, Yeah, totally yeah, And I might want to
- 6:14Speaker 2: stay and do something.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean you want to ride the train back
- 6:17Speaker 1: here with me? Yeah? Yeah, come to DC, stay in
- 6:21Speaker 1: my guest room. Yes, you can snuckle with the dogs. Yes,
- 6:27Speaker 1: that's all she really wants to hear. Guys, it's all
- 6:29Speaker 1: she wants to hear. We had a locksmith come today
- 6:32Speaker 1: because you have a busted lock on one of our doors.
- 6:35Speaker 1: And you know, I go outside and I'm talking because
- 6:37Speaker 1: the dogs are like cooja, like scratching the glass trying
- 6:40Speaker 1: to get in him, and he goes, I have dogs, Like,
- 6:44Speaker 1: I'm not worried. I go, okay, I go. They're very sweet.
- 6:46Speaker 1: They're just like excited. And he stopped and he just
- 6:48Speaker 1: like stood there and let them completely like jump. They
- 6:51Speaker 1: could only jump to his knees, you know, yeah, but
- 6:53Speaker 1: they were just jumping all over him. He was like, Okay,
- 6:55Speaker 1: did you get it out of your system? I'm gonna
- 6:58Speaker 1: be here a while so to me get used to me.
- 7:03Speaker 1: My son John is home from college. That's exciting.
- 7:07Speaker 2: That is very exciting.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's it. I think that's all I've got.
- 7:12Speaker 1: We got to get into this episode because you guys,
- 7:14Speaker 1: two hour episodes are it's a lot, a lot of
- 7:17Speaker 1: it's a lot, it's a.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Lot, it's a lot. My fingers were getting tired.
- 7:21Speaker 1: I was tired. I watched it twice because I watched it.
- 7:24Speaker 1: I watched it live because guys, we are doing live
- 7:28Speaker 1: interactive watching it via Facebook. Right, everybody's on Facebook at
- 7:33Speaker 1: the same time commenting, and I did get a lot
- 7:36Speaker 1: more engagement this week, So thank you to everybody.
- 7:39Speaker 2: That's exciting. I know, I know, I got to figure
- 7:42Speaker 2: out how to join. I don't know if I can
- 7:44Speaker 2: do it because I'm on the West coast, but I
- 7:46Speaker 2: know TLC does seem to air things like at five o'clock.
- 7:49Speaker 1: For me, they do.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Well.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Yeah, if you have already seen the screener, then you
- 7:55Speaker 1: could sort of follow along with what people are talking about.

- 10:04Speaker 1: look at every single day? Reddit. I used to think
- 10:07Speaker 1: Reddit was just for finding information out about our ninety
- 10:10Speaker 1: day cast members, but now I'm on there for everything.
- 10:13Speaker 1: I'll check reviews before I buy a new hair dryer,
- 10:16Speaker 1: or if i need to look at some travel tips,
- 10:18Speaker 1: and suddenly I'm deep in a thread about my favorite
- 10:21Speaker 1: online game, Sneaky Sasquatch. Yes, I am probably the oldest
- 10:24Speaker 1: person that plays Sneaky Sasquatch and goes on this thread.
- 10:27Speaker 1: But I don't care. Reddit always has the answers for
- 10:30Speaker 1: me when I can't pass the level. Okay, it's a
- 10:32Speaker 1: game for ages four and up. I digress, Okay, you know.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I get obsessed with topics like Billie Eilish or the
- 10:38Speaker 1: Plath family, or to read mpka's finances from Real Housewives
- 10:42Speaker 1: at Beverly Hills. So I just love going to Reddit
- 10:44Speaker 1: and doing a deep dive to find out what the
- 10:46Speaker 1: fans are saying. I like to swap theories. I like
- 10:49Speaker 1: to see their reactions in real time as the dramas
- 10:52Speaker 1: unfolding on our TV. And that's another reason I like
- 10:55Speaker 1: to look at things on Reddit. It's just real people
- 10:57Speaker 1: sharing real opinions and real experiences, and you know, I'm
- 11:00Speaker 1: one of those people. I'm on there, and if you
- 11:03Speaker 1: want an honest review of something, Reddit is always the
- 11:05Speaker 1: first place to go.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Okay.
- 11:07Speaker 1: My favorite subreddits are our slash Welcome to Platform, our
- 11:11Speaker 1: slash Bravo, and of course our slash Sneaky Sasquatch. But
- 11:14Speaker 1: I also love our slash travel Hacks and when I'm
- 11:18Speaker 1: really into a show like Traders, oh my gosh, these
- 11:21Speaker 1: subreddits are incredible. Reddit is the app for authentic conversations
- 11:26Speaker 1: about anything and everything, whatever question you're dealing with, whatever
- 11:30Speaker 1: problem your stock on Reddit always has the answers. Download
- 11:34Speaker 1: the Reddit app and get answers on our new season
- 11:37Speaker 1: of ninety Day Fiance on our dash ninety Day Fiance
- 11:41Speaker 1: download the Reddit app today. Okay, everybody, let's talk about it.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Ninety Day Fiance, Season twelve, Episode two, Trusting the Process. Now,
- 11:52Speaker 1: last week was in My Getting Married era, and this
- 11:55Speaker 1: week is Trusting the Process. So far, I don't see
- 11:59Speaker 1: it for the title.
- 12:03Speaker 2: No, they're boring. Yeah, they're fun. Not fun. No, there's
- 12:09Speaker 2: a theme except for like relationships, right, therapy. They do
- 12:13Speaker 2: sound like therapy phrases.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Am I getting married era does not sound No.
- 12:18Speaker 2: It's not that. Trusting the Process one.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll have to see. We'll have to wait till
- 12:23Speaker 1: we get to the next episode and then try to
- 12:25Speaker 1: figure it out because we love uh my third couple right, No,
- 12:31Speaker 1: we haven't met them yet. Next week, Mamas and Paula, Yeah,
- 12:34Speaker 1: next week. Okay, we saw them in the previous All right, Well,
- 12:38Speaker 1: let's start with our favorite Paducah, Kentucky realtor slash big
- 12:45Speaker 1: Man on Campus. Shay Shaye Shae is cleaning. Well, he's dusting,
- 12:54Speaker 1: and he's telling his two dogs, Mommy Bell is coming,
- 12:57Speaker 1: Mammy Bell is coming.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Mm hm hmmmm.
- 13:01Speaker 1: And uh. He says, Annabelle does not like dog hair.
- 13:04Speaker 1: She is such a clean freak. Every time I see her,
- 13:07Speaker 1: she's cleaning and she keeps it immaculate. Gley mmm mmmm.
- 13:13Speaker 1: And she has told him that she's allergic to dog hair,
- 13:17Speaker 1: but he goes, she's not, she just don't like dogs. Yeah,
- 13:21Speaker 1: we've got two dog haters on this episode, allegedly, and
- 13:25Speaker 1: I didn't like that.
- 13:27Speaker 2: I'm hoping that it will be like an Ashley and
- 13:29Speaker 2: Manuel and Rico Suave because Rico mother e Fink Suave
- 13:35Speaker 2: has had been with her through thick and thin, so
- 13:38Speaker 2: she was not gonna let Manuel come in and kick
- 13:40Speaker 2: Rico off the bed. And I really respected that about Ashley.
- 13:45Speaker 2: So I'm hoping and Manuel grew to love Rico Suave,
- 13:48Speaker 2: I think, of course, of course. So I'm hoping that
- 13:51Speaker 2: that's what's going to happen here me too.
- 13:54Speaker 1: So he goes only clean, and I'm thinking about is
- 13:57Speaker 1: her scrubbing me and that tub to know? So he's
- 14:01Speaker 1: going to say the Saint Louis Airport to get her,
- 14:04Speaker 1: and lots of people in the chat when we were
- 14:07Speaker 1: talking about it were like why, like there's so many
- 14:11Speaker 1: airports closer to Paduca, to which I say, probably it's
- 14:15Speaker 1: an international airport and that saved her from one from
- 14:19Speaker 1: one having to switch planes like three times. Maybe she'll
- 14:21Speaker 1: hand price.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Yeah, it's usually less.
- 14:26Speaker 1: And the cost is probably less. Yeah, so he says
- 14:30Speaker 1: he fears Nicole, his ex, will tell Annabelle that he
- 14:34Speaker 1: cheated on her. Now, we did get lots of information
- 14:37Speaker 1: about the ex Nicole this week on social media. She
- 14:40Speaker 1: does have like nine month shots Nicole.
- 14:43Speaker 2: I mean I could tell she's a little she's a
- 14:47Speaker 2: little rough Nicole.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, so, and he says, and maybe at a
- 14:52Speaker 1: party on the lake or something, I kissed a chick
- 14:55Speaker 1: or had too many I mean, I don't know. We're
- 14:59Speaker 1: just having fun. To me, that's not cheating. That's just
- 15:02Speaker 1: having a good time.
- 15:03Speaker 2: That's just lake time.
- 15:05Speaker 1: That's just lake time.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Lake where lake people. That's what you do with the lakes,
- 15:09Speaker 2: what you do. What happens to the lake stays at
- 15:11Speaker 2: the lake.
- 15:11Speaker 1: That's right. I'm that you bring home has one of
- 15:17Speaker 1: those signs. What happens at the lake, says the lake.
- 15:19Speaker 1: So he arrives at the airport. He has flowers.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Good job, he put on his best flannel and jeans.
- 15:28Speaker 1: He did, and he tells us, I'm not sure if
- 15:32Speaker 1: Nicole is bluffing about trying to ruin my marriage or
- 15:36Speaker 1: she's just trying to get my goat. Now, I looked
- 15:39Speaker 1: up get my goat, because I've heard this is zillion times.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Don't try to get my goat. But I was like,
- 15:43Speaker 1: I wonder what that means. And what it means is
- 15:48Speaker 1: people in the olden days would keep a goat with
- 15:51Speaker 1: their horses because a goat would keep the horses calm.
- 15:55Speaker 1: And if somebody went in and got your goat, that
- 15:58Speaker 1: means your horses would go nuts.
- 16:00Speaker 2: That makes sense.
- 16:01Speaker 1: It makes zero sense to me.
- 16:02Speaker 2: But well, because get to get my goat means to
- 16:05Speaker 2: make me upset, to like get under my skin.
- 16:10Speaker 1: So I'm always interested in where these stupid phrases come from.
- 16:14Speaker 2: So yeah, idioms, they come from weird places.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Gotta come from somewhere.
- 16:20Speaker 2: This man looks ill to me. I feel like he
- 16:24Speaker 2: is not well.
- 16:25Speaker 1: I agree, I agree, he needs a full work up.
- 16:29Speaker 2: I'm gonna need him to see a dermatologist. A dentist, yes,
- 16:34Speaker 2: a heart doctor, maybe a pet like I just I
- 16:41Speaker 2: feel like there's something that is not very healthy with
- 16:44Speaker 2: this man, the thing inside and outside. There's just yea
- 16:50Speaker 2: when I whenever I see his teeth, it's not just
- 16:53Speaker 2: the color, it's like his color compared with the teeth color.
- 16:58Speaker 2: There's just I'm concerned.
- 17:01Speaker 1: It's not great. It's not great. I'm hoping annabell is
- 17:04Speaker 1: gonna whip him into shape.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Yeah, she does seem to be that kind of type.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Yeah, so he says, I'm not sure if Nicole is
- 17:11Speaker 1: bluffing about trying to ruin my marriage. You know, I've
- 17:13Speaker 1: been married two times and it hit me hard in
- 17:16Speaker 1: the wallet. So either Annabelle will be my partner forever
- 17:19Speaker 1: or we won't get married.
- 17:21Speaker 2: What what does that mean? Does that mean you won't
- 17:24Speaker 2: be able to stay together if you don't get married,
- 17:26Speaker 2: it would be the long distance? Yeah, I mean, yeah,
- 17:29Speaker 2: he should move to the Philippines.
- 17:31Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you from experience of the person
- 17:34Speaker 1: in my family, if he were to move to the Philippines,
- 17:37Speaker 1: he would be very, very loved and appreciated, and they
- 17:41Speaker 1: would name streets after him. And in the case of
- 17:44Speaker 1: the person, I know they named an internet cafe after him.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Stop he's like David. If David and Nannie who moved
- 17:51Speaker 2: back where she was from, which I never if it's
- 17:54Speaker 2: tied land and became a monk, and if they had
- 17:59Speaker 2: a parade for him.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. So she arrives, They hug, she cries, she's bawling,
- 18:08Speaker 1: and he tears. He seems like he tears up a
- 18:09Speaker 1: little bit.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:11Speaker 1: And we meet Annabelle and she is adorable and I
- 18:14Speaker 1: love her. I love her, love she is laughing so
- 18:17Speaker 1: hard at her own jokes, which I always love. And
- 18:20Speaker 1: they have not seen each other in two years.
- 18:24Speaker 2: I thought he was going there regularly, just once, just once,
- 18:28Speaker 2: just once.
- 18:29Speaker 3: Oh.
- 18:30Speaker 1: And so she says, oh, I was so happy to
- 18:33Speaker 1: see him. But oh my god, his body is she's
- 18:37Speaker 1: doing her hands a little bit big again. So we're
- 18:41Speaker 1: gonna need to go for walking and zoom but together,
- 18:43Speaker 1: and she laughs and laughs.
- 18:45Speaker 2: I'd like it seventy percent big for me.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Yeah, she says, his body's a little bit big again,
- 18:52Speaker 1: So I do. I would like to see some full
- 18:55Speaker 1: body shots of when he visits hour before to see
- 19:00Speaker 1: what she means by that.
- 19:01Speaker 2: I don't need to see full body shots. But okay,
- 19:04Speaker 2: clothed clothed.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Do you mean yes, that's what I meant.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Okay, because later we do see a full body shot,
- 19:11Speaker 2: I know, on clothed.
- 19:13Speaker 1: I know. So they arrive at this cool church last hotel,
- 19:17Speaker 1: people were like very excited about this. I would not
- 19:21Speaker 1: want to sleep there.
- 19:22Speaker 2: I would feel like the holy ghost is gonna just
- 19:25Speaker 2: they'd be like, jew get out of here. No, they
- 19:32Speaker 2: would not previcted from this hotel.
- 19:34Speaker 1: I just I like when people turn old churches, you
- 19:39Speaker 1: know that have all this cool stained glasses. I like
- 19:41Speaker 1: when they turn them into something. But not a four
- 19:43Speaker 1: bedroom hotel, although the walls are probably pretty thick, because
- 19:47Speaker 1: it does look like a sturdy building. I just don't
- 19:49Speaker 1: want to hear them in the Airbnb next to me
- 19:51Speaker 1: getting it on.
- 19:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Usually hotels are like sexy vibes because people go there
- 19:57Speaker 2: to have sex, or they're on vacation in they're having sex,
- 20:00Speaker 2: or they're away from their kids. And you know, so
- 20:04Speaker 2: this is weird that it's so religious wants to bang
- 20:11Speaker 2: with like the you know pair portrait of Mary above
- 20:15Speaker 2: your bit.
- 20:16Speaker 1: I agree, I agree, But he did spring for the
- 20:19Speaker 1: botanical sweet garden room with a giant tub and immediately,
- 20:25Speaker 1: immediately she's like, let's get you in the tub. Let's
- 20:27Speaker 1: get you, let's right away, let's get you. It's as
- 20:30Speaker 1: if like a little kid comes in from outside and
- 20:33Speaker 1: you're like, right up to the tub, right up, You're
- 20:35Speaker 1: so dirty, right up.
- 20:36Speaker 2: From the Uh.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Yeah. So she says, a clean man is a sexy man.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I will not touch him if he's dirty. And then
- 20:45Speaker 1: we find out that she also wants to scrub him
- 20:48Speaker 1: after he poops. He says, really, he says she would
- 20:52Speaker 1: if I go to the bathroom, then she wants to
- 20:54Speaker 1: scrub me. And she goes, yeah, because where I live,
- 20:56Speaker 1: you know, we clean with water, and the toilet paper
- 20:58Speaker 1: is just not good enough. We've heard the slot.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Yeah, he needs a bidet in the house.
- 21:03Speaker 1: He's gonna need that. And she cuts his toenails and
- 21:08Speaker 1: that's important to her.
- 21:10Speaker 2: You know.
- 21:10Speaker 1: There's a lot of discussion about how she cleans him,
- 21:13Speaker 1: the things that she cleaned, and the carrea, the area
- 21:17Speaker 1: ya uh huh she cleans, and he does say that
- 21:21Speaker 1: sometimes she gets too fast and too aggressive and slices
- 21:24Speaker 1: him up with her fingernails.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Wow. Wow, he has paper cuts on his pean.
- 21:30Speaker 1: I mean I'm wondering now that she lives with him,
- 21:32Speaker 1: like is he ever gonna shower alone again? Like it
- 21:35Speaker 1: is now going to be like, Hey, I'm coming in
- 21:37Speaker 1: for work on a chair. She's like, no, you're not,
- 21:39Speaker 1: I'm coming in.
- 21:40Speaker 2: I feel like she feeds him too, like the airplane
- 21:43Speaker 2: is coming in.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Here's the train. Oh, she's getting him on like a
- 21:47Speaker 1: lettuce and cucumber diet immediately.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:51Speaker 1: If he probably just quit drinking, it would help help
- 21:54Speaker 1: the total, It would help out all his bloat and
- 21:57Speaker 1: everything he's got going on. Absolutely, there was. It's a
- 22:00Speaker 1: discussion about what's happening with his skin. I don't know.
- 22:02Speaker 1: He obviously has some sort of dermatological condition. Yeah.
- 22:06Speaker 2: I think he has that pigment issue where like certain
- 22:10Speaker 2: areas have more pigment than others. Yes, I can't remember.
- 22:14Speaker 2: It's called Michael jacks Michael Jackson. Uh is it been
- 22:20Speaker 2: like a jack Yes, I think that is it. Did
- 22:25Speaker 2: Michael Jackson have that or was he bleaching his skin?
- 22:28Speaker 1: Well, he said he had that, and he said that
- 22:30Speaker 1: since he had that, he had to bleach everything out
- 22:32Speaker 1: to be wh That's what he said. That's how he
- 22:36Speaker 1: met Debbie the wife, right, because she worked at the
- 22:39Speaker 1: dermatologists office.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Yes, totally.
- 22:42Speaker 1: The stories that woman has, God bless. When's her nda done?
- 22:46Speaker 1: All right? So they get out of the shower. He
- 22:50Speaker 1: pops the champagne. The cork almost literally takes her eye out.
- 22:54Speaker 1: It goes right by her face. And I said, sir,
- 22:59Speaker 1: you can put a shirt on. She's clothed, you can,
- 23:02Speaker 1: you can have a shirt on.
- 23:04Speaker 2: No, he's like a cult, just way too comfortable on
- 23:08Speaker 2: camera naked.
- 23:10Speaker 1: We get a little bound wow wow. Kind of a music. Yeah, yeah,
- 23:16Speaker 1: sexy music. And they get all under the covers and
- 23:19Speaker 1: whatnot and the talking head together. He says, when it
- 23:23Speaker 1: comes to sex, she just tells me what to do.
- 23:25Speaker 1: She just tells me what she wants. And she goes,
- 23:27Speaker 1: that's right. She says, I'm fifty four, but my sex
- 23:30Speaker 1: drive is like a twenty five year old woman. Haven't
- 23:32Speaker 1: had sex in two years. Time to get dirty.
- 23:35Speaker 2: So he's like, okay, wow wow, So good for her.
- 23:40Speaker 2: She's a take charge gal, and I love it.
- 23:42Speaker 1: I like that she's a take charge gal. She's gonna
- 23:44Speaker 1: get him clean, she's gonna get him all cleaned up.
- 23:47Speaker 1: She's gonna get him away from the lake people all
- 23:50Speaker 1: of it.
- 23:50Speaker 2: As long as he doesn't start listening to Ben's rights
- 23:54Speaker 2: podcasts like javon this could this could be great.
- 24:01Speaker 1: So they giggle and they kiss and we have to
- 24:03Speaker 1: hear kissing noises and him saying yum yum m looking
- 24:07Speaker 1: at it, looking yam yum yum. And that's it. That's
- 24:13Speaker 1: it with them. I could have gotten in a lot
- 24:14Speaker 1: more detail about the scrubbing, and I just decided.
- 24:16Speaker 2: I really appreciate it.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Everyone everyone saw it. I don't need to describe it.
- 24:20Speaker 2: That whole scene.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Yeah, if you didn't see it, you're really missing out. No,
- 24:24Speaker 1: don't do that to yourself. Let's discuss Katie and Josh.
- 24:30Speaker 2: These they are just the most fascinating. There's just so
- 24:35Speaker 2: much going on here. She's fascinating, fascinating issues. So they
- 24:42Speaker 2: at their they have a new hero shot together where
- 24:46Speaker 2: she is like eating his face, pulling his hair, like
- 24:50Speaker 2: just devouring it with her mouth, and he pulls away
- 24:54Speaker 2: so uncomfortable, and they smile at the camera.
- 24:57Speaker 1: I couldn't doubt that girl. I I could not believe
- 25:02Speaker 1: their hero shot is her just aggressively in the back.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Of his head, tongue graping his mouth like there's it's
- 25:12Speaker 2: so aggressive and she's literally pulling his hair and he
- 25:17Speaker 2: just pulls away and he looks all tousled ycause he's
- 25:20Speaker 2: been molested, and they just like, hey man. He looks
- 25:25Speaker 2: at the care like help me, helly, hi, blink if
- 25:28Speaker 2: you're okay, Josh. So they in the car from the airport.
- 25:32Speaker 2: She has him try to sing the national anthem with her,
- 25:35Speaker 2: but he has no clue what the words are, which
- 25:37Speaker 2: is funny. And it already feels so awkward with them,
- 25:41Speaker 2: like there are lots of awkward pauses, like do.
- 25:44Speaker 1: They like each other?
- 25:47Speaker 2: So then he says to us, he's glad they're going
- 25:49Speaker 2: to to a hotel because he was worried they'd be
- 25:52Speaker 2: sleeping in the car or worse. So he knows her well, yeah,
- 25:58Speaker 2: but what's good about that is she laid the groundwork
- 26:01Speaker 2: to have it be like the bare minimum that he's
- 26:03Speaker 2: expecting or hoping for, not to sleep in the car.
- 26:08Speaker 2: So the fact that she got her act together and
- 26:11Speaker 2: at least got a hotel is really good. Set the
- 26:14Speaker 2: bar low. You're always then people are always impressed with you.
- 26:19Speaker 1: Okay, all right, Well, I don't know if in this
- 26:21Speaker 1: case that's going to work.
- 26:23Speaker 2: But all not in the long term. Might it might work?
- 26:26Speaker 2: Right now? Okay? So in the car, she starts gnawing
- 26:30Speaker 2: on some Cheetos with her mouth open, just a super
- 26:33Speaker 2: aggressive eater. And he says those cheetos do not smell lovely,
- 26:40Speaker 2: and she says, you smell bad. Your mouth smells bad?
- 26:44Speaker 1: What is she gino? Would this comeback like you're you do?
- 26:49Speaker 2: Also, this is Greta and Matthew all over again. Never
- 26:53Speaker 2: forget how he told her she had horrible bio when
- 26:56Speaker 2: he breaks her up. So he says she's the bluntest
- 27:01Speaker 2: person ever, as if we couldn't tell. And he says,
- 27:03Speaker 2: I have the mental image of a Tasmanian devil in
- 27:07Speaker 2: the flesh. So she says, as she's driving, I'm having
- 27:11Speaker 2: these wild thoughts popping into my head, like we should
- 27:14Speaker 2: be naked driving, but that's illegal. And he's like, is
- 27:17Speaker 2: that a law? You can't drive naked? And she's like,
- 27:19Speaker 2: public nudity, you can't do it here.
- 27:21Speaker 1: He said it is illegal in the state, is what
- 27:23Speaker 1: he said, in the state.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Everywhere here, So he says, there's no badness in Katie.
- 27:31Speaker 2: She's a menace only in the most comically ridiculous sense
- 27:37Speaker 2: you even like her.
- 27:39Speaker 1: No, I don't think she's a menace in a comical sense.
- 27:42Speaker 1: I think she's a menace.
- 27:44Speaker 2: I think what would have been comical at the beginning
- 27:48Speaker 2: will quickly fade away and it will become.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Horrible, annoying, annoying.
- 27:55Speaker 2: And frustrating, and yeah, there's gonna be so many problem
- 28:00Speaker 2: And then she rubs his beard and he calls her
- 28:02Speaker 2: a menace, which he called her that in his talking head,
- 28:04Speaker 2: so now he's calling her. He says, lovely, a lot craziness, menace,
- 28:10Speaker 2: And he says her hand is sweaty, and she says,
- 28:13Speaker 2: I put on a lot of hand sanitizer.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Sweaty and with Cheeto dust on it, ugh.
- 28:19Speaker 2: Just like becomes a paste and right, So they go
- 28:24Speaker 2: to the hotel and he thinks it's lovely. We need
- 28:27Speaker 2: a lovely count He says it multiple times every week.
- 28:30Speaker 2: And he likes her USA decorations. They hug. He says
- 28:34Speaker 2: she can go from being blunt and brutal to sweet
- 28:36Speaker 2: and sentimental, like decorating the hotel room. It really meant
- 28:39Speaker 2: a lot to him and it makes him melt when
- 28:42Speaker 2: she does things like that. That's nice. So she again
- 28:47Speaker 2: setting the bar really low, because if you're rude most
- 28:50Speaker 2: of the time, when you're actually a nice person, it
- 28:55Speaker 2: makes you get some So she says she was stressed
- 28:59Speaker 2: about them having said and he says why and she says, well,
- 29:01Speaker 2: we've struggled with that and it makes me feel not
- 29:04Speaker 2: wanted and if we didn't have sex, I was worried
- 29:08Speaker 2: it would set our trip off, you know, it would
- 29:10Speaker 2: set the mood off wrong at the beginning. And he says, well,
- 29:14Speaker 2: we have to get rid of the stress and that's
- 29:17Speaker 2: never going to happen, and wait until we're settled down
- 29:21Speaker 2: and focus on us. And I was like, is he
- 29:23Speaker 2: saying wait until they settle down to have sex? Is
- 29:26Speaker 2: he trying to push off having sex? And he's like,
- 29:29Speaker 2: that can't have sex if he's not emotionally into good place.
- 29:33Speaker 2: He's a geno and she's a have sex with me
- 29:37Speaker 2: or I feel terrible like a jasmine. So this is bad.
- 29:43Speaker 2: So she says, I need to feel like you want me,
- 29:47Speaker 2: and he says, well, maybe we should make commitments about
- 29:50Speaker 2: certain things, and like maybe you could promise not to
- 29:53Speaker 2: kiss other people, and he says, I know she does
- 29:56Speaker 2: it because of insecurity, but she also likes play with
- 30:00Speaker 2: fire and she gets an impulsive rush from doing it,
- 30:04Speaker 2: which she did say. She's very impulsive. She has no
- 30:07Speaker 2: impulse control. And he says, I know her heart is
- 30:11Speaker 2: in the right place and she doesn't want to hurt me,
- 30:13Speaker 2: so I'm trying to be patient. And I haven't given
- 30:16Speaker 2: her an ultimatum like if she kisses someone else, I'm out,
- 30:19Speaker 2: but it might be coming to that. So she says,
- 30:22Speaker 2: I need to feel wanted, and he says, I know
- 30:27Speaker 2: sex is important to us being loving, and she says, well,
- 30:30Speaker 2: I don't feel loving if we're not having sex, and
- 30:32Speaker 2: he says, well, I don't feel loving if you're making
- 30:35Speaker 2: out with other guys.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Great point, Josh.
- 30:40Speaker 2: And she says, at least they want to have sex
- 30:42Speaker 2: with me. It's such a tense talking head for their
- 30:47Speaker 2: like very first day here, it's rough.
- 30:50Speaker 1: So does I mean does she want to have sex
- 30:53Speaker 1: every day? Is that her thing? Like if we don't
- 30:55Speaker 1: have sex every day, then I Am going down to
- 30:59Speaker 1: try to make out with somebody at seven to eleven,
- 31:01Speaker 1: like right? That?
- 31:03Speaker 2: No, literally, And I think that's such a self esteem issue.
- 31:06Speaker 2: I don't know why her self esteem is that low
- 31:09Speaker 2: that she needs to feel like someone always wants to
- 31:11Speaker 2: have sex with her or she has no value as
- 31:14Speaker 2: a person.
- 31:15Speaker 1: That's sad.
- 31:16Speaker 2: That's really sad.
- 31:17Speaker 1: People on the Facebook when we were commenting on the
- 31:20Speaker 1: show as it was going, people like, she's the worst
- 31:22Speaker 1: person ever be on the show, and people were like
- 31:23Speaker 1: really dogging her on her and.
- 31:25Speaker 2: That's really bad for her.
- 31:27Speaker 1: I said, I really am hoping we're going to get
- 31:30Speaker 1: some sort of backstory that's going to make her more
- 31:32Speaker 1: redeemable to us, because there has to be something behind
- 31:36Speaker 1: this behavior, you know.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Mm hmmm. So she the next morning, he's making her coffee.
- 31:46Speaker 2: His pajama shirt is tony level stretched out and I
- 31:52Speaker 2: hate when men wear like v NEX T shirts. I
- 31:55Speaker 2: can't I hate it, and their chest hair is showing.
- 31:58Speaker 2: I don't like such a turn.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Do you mean like an undershirt or just like a
- 32:02Speaker 1: T shirt?
- 32:03Speaker 2: To wear a T shirt out like a flowy T
- 32:06Speaker 2: shirt you especially if there's a lot of chest hair
- 32:15Speaker 2: coming out. Oh, I don't like, You're not like that.
- 32:18Speaker 2: She looks like a totally different person in the morning
- 32:20Speaker 2: without makeup and the red lips, like she does a
- 32:23Speaker 2: spletely different person. So they woke up early that morning
- 32:27Speaker 2: and we're in the mood and they did it, and
- 32:29Speaker 2: she is so happy that she got laid and she
- 32:32Speaker 2: wants She's like, I felt like you wanted me, and
- 32:35Speaker 2: I need you to tell me that you want me,
- 32:36Speaker 2: like all the time. And he says, yeah, I know
- 32:39Speaker 2: that that's on me to do. That's a lot of
- 32:42Speaker 2: pressure to constantly tell you how much I want to
- 32:46Speaker 2: have sex with you, Like, I mean a lot.
- 32:49Speaker 1: You have to live your everyday life. You can't just
- 32:51Speaker 1: constantly be like, hey, I'm going to work, but I
- 32:54Speaker 1: will be thinking about having sex with you totally. We're
- 32:57Speaker 1: eating dinner, but just guess what, in the back of
- 32:59Speaker 1: my mind, I am thinking it.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Like that's a lotactly.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:02Speaker 2: So he says, I have felt more in the mood
- 33:06Speaker 2: because I've been so stress lately about the immigration issues
- 33:09Speaker 2: over the past year. And when I'm stressed, sex is
- 33:12Speaker 2: something else on my to do list. It's not something
- 33:15Speaker 2: I want to do, it's something I have to do,
- 33:17Speaker 2: and I'm not in the mood. And so, but now
- 33:22Speaker 2: he feels less stressed because he's there and the he
- 33:25Speaker 2: got into America and it's settled, so okay. So and
- 33:29Speaker 2: then they kiss. They do this like kiss, licky face
- 33:33Speaker 2: thing that I could have done without. And so then
- 33:37Speaker 2: she shows him the neighborhood. Someone has a goat in
- 33:39Speaker 2: their yard and he says, that's so Portland urban goat farming.
- 33:45Speaker 2: And later she has a surprise welcome party for him
- 33:48Speaker 2: that she is telling him about ahead of time, and
- 33:52Speaker 2: she's invited the Running Club, including many of the guys
- 33:56Speaker 2: she made out with. She says, I have made out
- 33:58Speaker 2: with ninety percent of the single guys in the run Club,
- 34:03Speaker 2: and boy, if you were in that ten percent, that
- 34:06Speaker 2: has to make you feel like shit. The girls too,
- 34:09Speaker 2: by the way, and the girls, yeah, she also makes
- 34:13Speaker 2: out with the girls soever. She says, I know I've
- 34:17Speaker 2: done some things that I haven't been proud of when
- 34:19Speaker 2: I'm drunk, and apparently drinking not stopping drinking is not
- 34:24Speaker 2: an option, which is something I need to address later.
- 34:28Speaker 2: And I want to be transparent with you. And he says, yeah,
- 34:32Speaker 2: I'm not a jealous person, but it's about respect, like
- 34:35Speaker 2: good point to make out with other people. And she
- 34:38Speaker 2: says the compulsion part of OCD is doing something to
- 34:42Speaker 2: neutralize the obsession, but then that thing becomes makes everything worse,
- 34:48Speaker 2: and then it becomes this vicious cycle. So she's having
- 34:52Speaker 2: these negative thoughts and she has decided that making out
- 34:56Speaker 2: is the best tool to neutralize the OBSESSI and no,
- 35:02Speaker 2: I think instead of like a fidget spinner, No.
- 35:06Speaker 1: I think making out is the obsession that she has
- 35:09Speaker 1: to neutralize it by kissing. Like in her mind, she's like,
- 35:12Speaker 1: I want to make out, I want to make out.
- 35:13Speaker 1: I want to make out and want to do it,
- 35:16Speaker 1: and then she does it, and then that neutralizes her
- 35:20Speaker 1: wanting to do it. But yeah, now she's in a
- 35:23Speaker 1: shame spiral, right.
- 35:24Speaker 2: Right, Okay, So she says, I know Josh forgives me
- 35:28Speaker 2: when I do it, but I wonder is this the
- 35:30Speaker 2: last time? Like he's going to forgive me? Like could
- 35:32Speaker 2: I do it every week? I mean, I'm not saying
- 35:34Speaker 2: I want to do it every week, but like if
- 35:36Speaker 2: I did do it every week, would he keep forgiving me?
- 35:39Speaker 2: And maybe this every time is like the last time
- 35:43Speaker 2: he's going to forgive me for that. Yeah, so I
- 35:45Speaker 2: needed to stop. So she says, I know I've been
- 35:48Speaker 2: unhinged when I'm drinking, and I'll try to let you
- 35:51Speaker 2: know what my head's face is before I start drinking,
- 35:54Speaker 2: because I am not even in the conversation of stopping drinking.
- 35:59Speaker 2: That is never even an option that I have considered,
- 36:02Speaker 2: and that is an issue in itself. But again we're
- 36:05Speaker 2: not talking about that now. No one has brought up
- 36:08Speaker 2: that she has an alcohol if you why is no
- 36:10Speaker 2: one bringing that up?
- 36:12Speaker 1: Do you think that was weird that she was like, Yeah,
- 36:15Speaker 1: what I'm gonna do is when I start drinking, I'll
- 36:18Speaker 1: let you know right away. Do I feel like making
- 36:20Speaker 1: out or not?
- 36:21Speaker 2: Right?
- 36:22Speaker 1: Okay? But what if you just didn't drink, then you
- 36:23Speaker 1: wouldn't have that compulsion to make out with people.
- 36:26Speaker 2: It's not even been touched upon yet, like by either
- 36:31Speaker 2: of them, that huh. And it's all her culture. The
- 36:36Speaker 2: friend group, it all seems to revolve around drinking too,
- 36:39Speaker 2: so she would need to reset her life and like
- 36:42Speaker 2: get a new group of friends too.
- 36:44Speaker 1: They all seem slightly afraid of her that they may
- 36:46Speaker 1: be accosted at any moment by uh huh, you know.
- 36:49Speaker 2: By her tongue literally by her tongue, that she's.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Gonna get drunk and be like you're turned get in here.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Yeah, So he says Katie needs to stable, settle down,
- 36:59Speaker 2: and have stability or this won't work. She needs to
- 37:02Speaker 2: curb the bullshit, and so they go to the bar
- 37:05Speaker 2: for the party, which is an issue right off the
- 37:08Speaker 2: bat because there are other places you could throw a party,
- 37:11Speaker 2: but she is throwing it at a bar. But everyone's welcoming,
- 37:14Speaker 2: Josh hugging him. It's all hipsters. I forget, just all
- 37:18Speaker 2: Portland hipsters, and he says he wonders are people looking
- 37:23Speaker 2: at me like I'm an idiot because they've all made
- 37:25Speaker 2: out with her, like it's awkward. She starts drinking right away,
- 37:30Speaker 2: and he is eyeing how many drinks she's having, and
- 37:33Speaker 2: every time we see her, she has a different drink
- 37:35Speaker 2: in her hand. She's lot, she's lost, and he hopes
- 37:39Speaker 2: she's going to rein it, in which she's not. So
- 37:41Speaker 2: we meet Mark, who says I hooked up with her
- 37:45Speaker 2: after I had known her for just a week. She
- 37:47Speaker 2: is a lioness on the prowl, and she's made out
- 37:51Speaker 2: with me, my roommate. There's American Josh, there's Danika, there's Bella,
- 37:57Speaker 2: oh and Fred. Don't forget about Fred.
- 38:00Speaker 1: So she's just all of every all of them, every
- 38:04Speaker 1: single person, almost.
- 38:05Speaker 2: Every single person. And I didn't wonder about the girls.
- 38:09Speaker 2: Thing like is she by or is it she just
- 38:12Speaker 2: needs to make out with someone, or is it like
- 38:15Speaker 2: she's doing it for attention, which girls sometimes do in
- 38:18Speaker 2: their early twenties in college at a party, which is problematic.
- 38:27Speaker 2: But then I was wondering, like, if she's not by,
- 38:32Speaker 2: would he could they have some sort of compromise that
- 38:35Speaker 2: she only makes out with girls because he knows that
- 38:39Speaker 2: she's not into them or.
- 38:42Speaker 1: Okay, do you know?
- 38:44Speaker 2: Do you see what I'm saying? But if she would
- 38:47Speaker 2: be interested in them and she is like on the
- 38:51Speaker 2: by by or some sort of you know, spectrum where
- 38:55Speaker 2: she likes girls too, then that would be the same
- 38:58Speaker 2: loss of respect that Josh is.
- 39:01Speaker 1: I see what you're saying. But she's run through the
- 39:04Speaker 1: girls at the run club because one of them was like,
- 39:06Speaker 1: she tried to stick her tongue down my throat, and
- 39:07Speaker 1: I was like, no.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Right, So then they would need to introduce new people
- 39:12Speaker 2: to the group for sure.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Yeah. No, I think she just needs to stop doing it.
- 39:17Speaker 2: I think bottom line needs to stop doing it. She
- 39:21Speaker 2: needs to go cold turkey. But she might need to
- 39:26Speaker 2: go lukewarm pigeon, as we say on a date with Dateline,
- 39:32Speaker 2: which is not cold turkey. It's like easing into it and.
- 39:36Speaker 1: Just make out with girls first.
- 39:38Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, warm goose and she just make out with
- 39:44Speaker 2: girls first and then do it. But I really think
- 39:48Speaker 2: the bottom line is she needs to stop drinking.
- 39:50Speaker 1: No, I'd like to see what happens if she stops drinking.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Is that compulsion still there?
- 39:54Speaker 2: But she do it for a month. And if she
- 39:57Speaker 2: can't do it for a month, and she can't even
- 39:59Speaker 2: comprehend and doing it for a month, that's a that's
- 40:02Speaker 2: a problem that if you that means you have a problem.
- 40:06Speaker 2: So I think, and I'm not an expert, but.
- 40:10Speaker 1: I would I would say, if you can go a.
- 40:14Speaker 2: Week, yeah, and if you if you can't even comprehend
- 40:17Speaker 2: making it a week?
- 40:18Speaker 1: Yeah, they yes, okay.
- 40:22Speaker 2: Yeah. So Katie's playing darts, which is very dangerous because
- 40:26Speaker 2: she's already super drunk and her arm is just flailing
- 40:30Speaker 2: wildly and I was like, that's how someone loses an eye.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:33Speaker 2: So she tells her girlfriends how should they add sex?
- 40:37Speaker 2: And they had a really good conversation about respect and
- 40:40Speaker 2: things like that. And while Josh is chatting with the
- 40:43Speaker 2: guys who say, wow, she's like a loose cannon. How
- 40:46Speaker 2: do you deal with that, and Josh goes, what do
- 40:48Speaker 2: you mean by that? And he goes, well, she's loose,
- 40:51Speaker 2: which is like, so are you calling your sluttie or
- 40:55Speaker 2: a loose cannon?
- 40:56Speaker 1: She's fucked everybody standing in this circle.
- 40:59Speaker 2: Yeah, and she you know how everybody everything's a party
- 41:03Speaker 2: with her and like she just goes off the rails
- 41:06Speaker 2: and you know, and Josh is like yeah, and he says,
- 41:10Speaker 2: I feel like everyone knows something that they're not telling me. Yeah,
- 41:15Speaker 2: and it feels super awkward. And he says, but we
- 41:19Speaker 2: can't exclude the people that she's made out with, or
- 41:22Speaker 2: we would have a friendship of just the two of us.
- 41:24Speaker 2: There were no one left, So Mark.
- 41:28Speaker 1: It did feel like everybody here is talking about what
- 41:32Speaker 1: an idiot I am.
- 41:33Speaker 2: Yeah, That's how he feels, like they're all side eye
- 41:36Speaker 2: and going, oh, poor Josh. He has no idea, and like,
- 41:38Speaker 2: I want to tell them that I know what she's done,
- 41:41Speaker 2: but then they'll be like, well why are you here?
- 41:43Speaker 2: If you know what she's done, they'll have no respect
- 41:46Speaker 2: for me because I've taken it right. So Mark asked, Josh,
- 41:51Speaker 2: how do you deal with these wild and crazy stunts
- 41:54Speaker 2: that she's always pulling, and Josh says, you mean, like,
- 41:58Speaker 2: why am I here with that? And Mark's like, yeah,
- 42:03Speaker 2: I mean, like, oh no, I just mean you've come
- 42:05Speaker 2: so far and like uprooted your life and that's really big.
- 42:08Speaker 2: And Josh says, yeah, well, I feel like this relationship
- 42:11Speaker 2: is serious and it has to be serious for me
- 42:14Speaker 2: to move here, and Mark says, yeah, but she comes
- 42:17Speaker 2: with this level of craziness. I mean, you deal with
- 42:19Speaker 2: it better than I ever could back when I banged her.
- 42:23Speaker 2: And you know, Mark is a saboteur, I think, and
- 42:28Speaker 2: maybe he loves her. I think he is jealous and
- 42:32Speaker 2: does want her, and Josh is just smiling really tensely,
- 42:36Speaker 2: and then American Josh says this, Josh seems so nice
- 42:40Speaker 2: and he really loves her, and he's all in, and
- 42:42Speaker 2: I'm really worried that Katie will make huge mistakes and
- 42:45Speaker 2: fuck everything up. She is wild. She'll push everyone to
- 42:49Speaker 2: like do karaoke, which was a weird example because that's
- 42:53Speaker 2: not a wild crazy She'll be like, let's do karaoke.
- 42:58Speaker 2: I think it's like out with everyone.
- 43:00Speaker 1: I think it's like it's three in the morning, I
- 43:01Speaker 1: don't want the party to stop. Kind of a thing.
- 43:03Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, totally. So Josh goes to talk to her.
- 43:07Speaker 2: She's basically licking the inside of this can to get
- 43:10Speaker 2: every single drop out. She's like this, did you see that?
- 43:17Speaker 1: Yes, because she's like she knew it was her last
- 43:19Speaker 1: drink and she's like.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Oh my god, yeah, last drop. So she asked like,
- 43:24Speaker 2: what were you talking about with those guys and he says, well,
- 43:28Speaker 2: they were just checking in on how I was doing.
- 43:31Speaker 2: And she's like why, I mean, or like, how did
- 43:36Speaker 2: it go? She's so drunk, and he says it went great,
- 43:42Speaker 2: it was fine, and she says, it doesn't bug you that,
- 43:45Speaker 2: like we've banged before. And I banged both Josh and
- 43:50Speaker 2: Mark one time, well not one time, like three times.
- 43:54Speaker 2: And I didn't know she had banged everybody. I thought
- 43:57Speaker 2: she had just made out with most of them same,
- 44:00Speaker 2: but she had banged several of them. And Josh goes
- 44:05Speaker 2: right and she's like, you're not insecure, and he's like, no,
- 44:10Speaker 2: it's fine. I mean you love me, right, so that's
- 44:13Speaker 2: all I need. That's fine. And Katie's like, yeah, sometimes
- 44:17Speaker 2: I feel like I think about the chemistry I used
- 44:19Speaker 2: to have, like with those guys over there, and I
- 44:23Speaker 2: a thought would cross my mind, and he goes sorry,
- 44:27Speaker 2: and she goes, but I think that it just didn't
- 44:31Speaker 2: work out, like with them, so that's and he goes right,
- 44:37Speaker 2: and he says, sometimes Katie says things with the hopes
- 44:41Speaker 2: that they might come true, and I hope that that's
- 44:44Speaker 2: not what this is. Like she wants to be with
- 44:47Speaker 2: one of them, and she's verbializing it, and I don't
- 44:51Speaker 2: always want to be second guessing this relationship. She needs
- 44:54Speaker 2: to prove she's committed to me or this could have
- 44:56Speaker 2: all been a huge waste of my time, my emotions, everything.
- 45:01Speaker 2: And then she grabs him and she makes out with him,
- 45:03Speaker 2: and they keep cutting to American Josh and Mark giving
- 45:07Speaker 2: side eye because like one of them or both still
- 45:11Speaker 2: like her. I don't think American Josh does, but I
- 45:14Speaker 2: do think Mark does.
- 45:15Speaker 4: Is Mark the woe that's sort of the crazy hair, No,
- 45:18Speaker 4: that's American Josh Okay Mark, Josh Marks the one with
- 45:22Speaker 4: the like fauxhawk.
- 45:24Speaker 1: Yeah, it was literally like Ed Grimley Martin George's character
- 45:27Speaker 1: that pointed swoopy.
- 45:30Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, yeah. They're just fascinating. They are made for TV.
- 45:36Speaker 2: I am just so into analyzing them. I feel bad
- 45:40Speaker 2: for both of them. I don't hate her, I just
- 45:43Speaker 2: feel really bad for her.
- 45:44Speaker 1: I just don't know. Another thing I said, you know,
- 45:47Speaker 1: was I I do want to know what therapies or
- 45:51Speaker 1: medication she's tried. Everybody's like, does she not have like
- 45:55Speaker 1: a sister, a brother, a mom, a dad and uncle
- 45:57Speaker 1: and anybody. I was like, yeah, I'm gonna be in
- 46:00Speaker 1: to meet somebody in her family, gonna be interested to
- 46:02Speaker 1: find out further therapies and medications she possibly has tried.
- 46:07Speaker 1: What is the backstory here?
- 46:09Speaker 2: Right? Because it's affecting her life. It's affecting her relationship
- 46:15Speaker 2: all of this, and there are treatments out there and.
- 46:19Speaker 1: And friendships I would imagine because these girls are like
- 46:22Speaker 1: we're just trying to go out on a Tuesday and get.
- 46:25Speaker 2: Shoving her tongue in my fad.
- 46:26Speaker 1: To kiss me, Like stop.
- 46:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. She needs some support system that
- 46:32Speaker 2: will be tough on her. Yeah, and like she needs
- 46:36Speaker 2: like you know, you can hire like an ADHD coach
- 46:40Speaker 2: who walks you through like all of these tasks and
- 46:42Speaker 2: things like that, but also medications. I want to know
- 46:45Speaker 2: what she's done me too, because it is affecting her
- 46:50Speaker 2: life severely totally.
- 46:53Speaker 1: All right, let's move on to Debbie and Meto. We're
- 46:58Speaker 1: meeting Debbie and Meadow.
- 46:59Speaker 2: I got, why are all the Debbies on this show
- 47:02Speaker 2: just bat shit crazy?
- 47:05Speaker 1: I don't think she's bat shit No, she's.
- 47:08Speaker 2: Actually the most normal of the three debbies we've had.
- 47:11Speaker 1: Okay, so we've got Mother Debbie and Miss Debbie and
- 47:15Speaker 1: now we've got New Orleans Debbie.
- 47:17Speaker 2: Yeah, she actually seems to be the most sane.
- 47:21Speaker 1: Yeah. I will say that from what we saw in previews,
- 47:25Speaker 1: I thought she looked odd, But seeing her talking in
- 47:31Speaker 1: real life and stuff, I do not find her odd,
- 47:33Speaker 1: and I do not find her to look so much
- 47:36Speaker 1: older than him. For everyone, she looked really good.
- 47:41Speaker 2: Her teeth again.
- 47:43Speaker 1: She's got one missing in the back, I saw it, But.
- 47:46Speaker 2: They're also just super dark and yellow, and I think
- 47:50Speaker 2: they could be that could be a dress.
- 47:52Speaker 1: Do you know that last time I went to the dentist,
- 47:53Speaker 1: just form my chuck up, I asked if I should
- 47:56Speaker 1: invest in like whitening, and you know at that like
- 48:00Speaker 1: professionally at the dentist, and literally my dentist who would
- 48:04Speaker 1: stand to make money off of me? Goes? Have you
- 48:06Speaker 1: tried across white strips? They really work.
- 48:08Speaker 2: Wow, yeah, amazing.
- 48:10Speaker 1: Yeah, so I'm gonna try.
- 48:12Speaker 2: Also, I did professional whitening once, and it was the
- 48:14Speaker 2: most painful experience of my entire life.
- 48:16Speaker 1: Everybody says it's if your teeth are just slightly sensitive,
- 48:20Speaker 1: it's gonna be painful.
- 48:21Speaker 2: It was like nerves shooting through my literally my whole body.
- 48:25Speaker 2: I felt me down to my toes all night. I
- 48:28Speaker 2: was crying. I was so much pain. And I even
- 48:32Speaker 2: like looked it up on Reddit and people were like,
- 48:34Speaker 2: I've given birth to three kids. This is worse, Like,
- 48:37Speaker 2: how do I make it stop? It was if your
- 48:40Speaker 2: teeth are sensitive like that, which I guess might are.
- 48:43Speaker 1: Also, people can stop asking me if I know what
- 48:45Speaker 1: kind of baby Emily had, because I don't know. They're
- 48:47Speaker 1: obviously saving it for people or something, but I don't know.
- 48:50Speaker 1: Oh okay, I wrote and said, tell me about the baby.
- 48:53Speaker 1: No answer.
- 48:54Speaker 2: Okay, Well she's busy.
- 48:55Speaker 4: She's busy, so Debbie, we mean, so Debbie goes to
- 49:01Speaker 4: work at her insurance agent's job with her dog.
- 49:05Speaker 1: A little bit.
- 49:07Speaker 2: That was the name of the dog. On a thousand Pounds.
- 49:10Speaker 1: Sisters, somebody wrote somebody wrote that, but thousand pounds Sisters
- 49:14Speaker 1: it was probably like l I l y a little bit.
- 49:18Speaker 1: This is Yeah, it was a little bit.
- 49:20Speaker 2: And she where is she New Orleans?
- 49:23Speaker 1: New Orleans?
- 49:24Speaker 2: I thought it looked like New Orleans when they were
- 49:26Speaker 2: at that cafe.
- 49:27Speaker 1: They were at Cafe Dumont. You can't get me.
- 49:29Speaker 2: That's what I thought.
- 49:30Speaker 1: You'd get more New Orleans than that.
- 49:32Speaker 2: Yeah. I wasn't paying close enough attention, but I was watching,
- 49:35Speaker 2: going that is that cafe? Do mom?
- 49:36Speaker 1: Yeah? So I said, she must have a pretty decent
- 49:41Speaker 1: job because she has an office that could take her
- 49:42Speaker 1: dog to work. So yeah, we see you're chatting on
- 49:46Speaker 1: her office zone like blah blah. We see her going
- 49:48Speaker 1: to the copy or you know, boring, and she says,
- 49:51Speaker 1: you know, my job is pretty mundane, but my personal
- 49:53Speaker 1: life is more exciting. Six years ago, I went to
- 49:56Speaker 1: Egypt with my daughter and I met the love of
- 49:59Speaker 1: my life, Meado. Six years six years. He's an Egyptian
- 50:06Speaker 1: movie star. He has hundreds of thousands of followers on
- 50:10Speaker 1: social media. I did look. He has six hundred and
- 50:12Speaker 1: sixty seven thousand on Meadow Fayed Official now. On his
- 50:19Speaker 1: profile on Instagram, it says he's a Japanese and English.
- 50:23Speaker 4: Tour guide what so I guess he speaks Japanese. Also, Wow,
- 50:29Speaker 4: that's impressive.
- 50:30Speaker 1: And then it says a co founder of this and
- 50:33Speaker 1: you click on it and it's got like seven followers
- 50:36Speaker 1: in one post, and it's like, you know, Pyramids tours
- 50:40Speaker 1: or whatever. But he also acts, but he also is
- 50:44Speaker 1: an actor, and it's actually legit, like if you'll come up,
- 50:47Speaker 1: he has actual movie credits okay, yeah, like articles where
- 50:51Speaker 1: he was interviewed about a certain movie and stuff like that.
- 50:53Speaker 1: I don't think he's like, he's not like Brad Pitt,
- 50:56Speaker 1: but I mean he might know.
- 50:57Speaker 2: But there's something shady going on. Oh yeah, it's part
- 51:01Speaker 2: that you'll talk about. And so I'm surprised. I was
- 51:03Speaker 2: very curious about his IMDb page, like what's going on
- 51:07Speaker 2: if he actually.
- 51:08Speaker 1: He has but he doesn't. That's not how he makes
- 51:11Speaker 1: a living. He makes a living I believe as being
- 51:13Speaker 1: a Japanese English to ride. Yeah yeah, I mean if
- 51:17Speaker 1: he speaks Japanese and.
- 51:19Speaker 2: Sounds hard working.
- 51:20Speaker 1: Yes, yes. So they say, so what movies has he
- 51:25Speaker 1: been in and what how is his acting? And she goes, well,
- 51:27Speaker 1: he's not shown me his work. I haven't seen any
- 51:30Speaker 1: of his reels. He says, I won't understand it, so
- 51:34Speaker 1: what's the point. But he's got hundreds of thousands of followers.
- 51:37Speaker 2: No, see, that's really weird.
- 51:39Speaker 1: No, I could watch it with subtitles. Tell me the titles. Also,
- 51:43Speaker 1: she can be.
- 51:44Speaker 2: A real so I can just see what what's happened.
- 51:47Speaker 2: I just wanted she could google it. Okay, her daughter
- 51:51Speaker 2: could figure out how to google it.
- 51:52Speaker 1: Right, she's only fifty five.
- 51:54Speaker 2: She could figure I know she's yeah, so this is
- 51:58Speaker 2: very weird.
- 52:00Speaker 1: So she tells us how they met. She and her
- 52:02Speaker 1: daughter were in Egypt. He was their tour guide and
- 52:07Speaker 1: coming down from the tomb of the blah blah blah,
- 52:10Speaker 1: he kissed her. Now, so I'm wondering if, like last
- 52:15Speaker 1: time we were in Paris, we had the same tour guide.
- 52:16Speaker 1: A couple of times we've done that, where we've done
- 52:18Speaker 1: like when we went with the kids, we had a
- 52:20Speaker 1: tour of the Louver and then we also had a
- 52:22Speaker 1: tour of Versailles, it was the same person. So I'm
- 52:24Speaker 1: wondering if like they booked something where they had like
- 52:27Speaker 1: three different tours and he was their guide every time,
- 52:30Speaker 1: because surely not in like four hours time. The daughter
- 52:33Speaker 1: was like he's flirting with you, and then he kissed.
- 52:35Speaker 2: Her, and also did she want to be kissed? And
- 52:40Speaker 2: also that seems super inappropriate?
- 52:43Speaker 1: Uh huh it does. It does.
- 52:46Speaker 2: Also I would leave a one star review if that
- 52:50Speaker 2: my turur guide kiss me out of nowhere? Not into that? Also,
- 52:56Speaker 2: can I join a Gilbert family vacation and just go
- 52:59Speaker 2: with you? Guys? I promise I'll give you family time.
- 53:02Speaker 2: I just want to go like on the tours that
- 53:04Speaker 2: you have hired a chur ride for.
- 53:06Speaker 1: Okay, we don't want family time, so it's fine. Okay.
- 53:10Speaker 1: So she says, you know, I mean, my gosh, you know,
- 53:14Speaker 1: not only is he a movie star and a tour guide,
- 53:18Speaker 1: he's younger than me. He's so charming. So she is
- 53:23Speaker 1: maybe on our lunch break or something, and she's walking
- 53:25Speaker 1: with a little bit and she's saying, let's call Poppy.
- 53:28Speaker 1: Let's call Poppy. Don't get your dog involved, to call him.
- 53:32Speaker 2: Okay, Nicole, God, don't let me get attached.
- 53:36Speaker 1: Ah. So they talk on the phone and she's like,
- 53:39Speaker 1: are you starting to pack? He goes, yeah, I'm gonna
- 53:41Speaker 1: pack tuna fish. She was like, we have tuna fish here.
- 53:44Speaker 1: He makes some corny jokes about like, look, here's the Pyramids.
- 53:47Speaker 1: I haven't been done mine yet. I'm a pharaoh and
- 53:51Speaker 1: we have Arabic tuna fish here. Like he's making like
- 53:53Speaker 1: a lot of kind of dad jokes that maybe he's
- 53:55Speaker 1: used to making on his tours. But they've been together
- 53:58Speaker 1: six years, so it seems like they would have I
- 54:01Speaker 1: don't know.
- 54:02Speaker 2: It's like being on If anyone can relate to this,
- 54:06Speaker 2: the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland or World, it's those jokes
- 54:12Speaker 2: which are kind of funny if you're in the mood
- 54:14Speaker 2: and you're at Disneyland and you're like in the vibe,
- 54:17Speaker 2: they're kind of enjoyable. But it's been six years and
- 54:21Speaker 2: you can't get off the boat.
- 54:23Speaker 1: Right, yes, right, Yeah, there's is like corny dad jokes
- 54:27Speaker 1: right that he obviously tells over and over.
- 54:30Speaker 2: So he says he's cute.
- 54:32Speaker 1: He is.
- 54:33Speaker 2: I really don't like that hair, the curly, longer hair.
- 54:38Speaker 2: When they show him in pictures with shaved head, yeah,
- 54:41Speaker 2: I was like, wow, huge, that's cute.
- 54:45Speaker 1: I found him. Yeah, I think he's very good looking.
- 54:49Speaker 1: And he asked her, have you been printing my headshots
- 54:51Speaker 1: for me? I was like, go to Kinko's go to.
- 54:53Speaker 1: That's what you're doing. Why does she have to print
- 54:55Speaker 1: of a home and use all her ink So.
- 54:59Speaker 2: He should have a manager that's handling them right right right,
- 55:03Speaker 2: I guess he doesn't.
- 55:04Speaker 1: Ye has six hundred and sixty seven thousand followers, Like.
- 55:08Speaker 2: Are they all bought? That's what I was wondering, Like
- 55:12Speaker 2: they bought me too.
- 55:14Speaker 1: I did say, I did see somebody post something recently
- 55:17Speaker 1: about Instagram is calling through the botsk and this person,
- 55:23Speaker 1: whoever it was, was like, I did notice that so
- 55:27Speaker 1: and so had three hundred thousand followers, and I looked
- 55:30Speaker 1: today and they had two hundred and eighty thousand. So
- 55:33Speaker 1: I wonder if twenty thousand of them were bots? Yeah,
- 55:37Speaker 1: or just twenty thousand people hated that person that day?
- 55:40Speaker 2: So should we be doing that? Because both of us
- 55:44Speaker 2: really want to build up our Instagram followers. So I
- 55:47Speaker 2: don't know if you purchasing them.
- 55:49Speaker 1: No, we should not be purchasing them.
- 55:51Speaker 2: Okay.
- 55:52Speaker 1: I want every person to be there because they want
- 55:55Speaker 1: to be there.
- 55:56Speaker 2: I don't care. I don't care if they know who
- 55:59Speaker 2: I am, or if someone that it's in their life
- 56:02Speaker 2: borrowed their phone for a sec subscribed and then handed
- 56:05Speaker 2: it back to them and they don't even know they've subscribed.
- 56:07Speaker 1: I don't care, I say all the time, follow me,
- 56:10Speaker 1: you can mute me. I don't care. Yeah, I might,
- 56:12Speaker 1: it's probably going to totally offinge you. So in the
- 56:16Speaker 1: Talking Head, Debbie says Mito's expectation in America is he
- 56:21Speaker 1: wants to be an actor, like a big actor. And
- 56:25Speaker 1: what if he gets gets here and he's not happy?
- 56:27Speaker 1: And I don't know if she means in the United
- 56:28Speaker 1: States or in New Orleans.
- 56:31Speaker 2: Right right, No, I think it's New Orleans.
- 56:36Speaker 1: So now she's at home printing photos. I'm like, god, bless,
- 56:39Speaker 1: I mean, cheaper for you to go and do this
- 56:42Speaker 1: at FedEx Kinko's instead of absolutely buying those packets for sixty.
- 56:47Speaker 2: Bucks of ink No, no, no no.
- 56:49Speaker 1: So she's with their daughter, Devin, and she is saying
- 56:53Speaker 1: to Devn, I mean he's just a photogenic I mean,
- 56:55Speaker 1: my god, he knows how to find the light. Look
- 56:57Speaker 1: at this, and Devin goes, So you think this acting
- 57:01Speaker 1: thing is going to go somewhere with him. Like all
- 57:03Speaker 1: these photos they look amateur like, just like Instagram model
- 57:08Speaker 1: or something like. They don't scream professional actor headshots.
- 57:12Speaker 2: Well, you don't know what it's like. The vibe is
- 57:14Speaker 2: like in Egypt.
- 57:15Speaker 1: Right right. But by the way, if you go to
- 57:18Speaker 1: IMDb 'or look him up or whatever, he does have
- 57:21Speaker 1: some professional ones with like a playing background, and you
- 57:23Speaker 1: know the Yeah. So, Debbie says, I'm trying to be supportive,
- 57:29Speaker 1: but you know he's already asked if I will move
- 57:32Speaker 1: to Hollywood or New York, and Devin goes, what, yes,
- 57:36Speaker 1: if you would move? You know, his first priority should
- 57:39Speaker 1: be the relationship. And Debbie goes, look at these pictures.
- 57:42Speaker 1: He loves the camera, and the camera loves him.
- 57:45Speaker 2: All right, Debbie, it is hard to find the light.
- 57:49Speaker 2: I have struggled with that whenever I've been in scenes
- 57:52Speaker 2: that my boss will put me in, Oh, because I begged.
- 57:57Speaker 1: I'd like to know where those aren't mind them on
- 57:59Speaker 1: the internet.
- 58:02Speaker 2: Get my boss's movies that I'm in. Oh, yeah, they're
- 58:05Speaker 2: all you can watch any of them.
- 58:07Speaker 1: Not the movies. I want to see your scenes.
- 58:10Speaker 2: Oh, well, they're in there, most of them. Or are
- 58:12Speaker 2: they on the DVD if they're deleted scenes? So I
- 58:17Speaker 2: should put a reel together.
- 58:19Speaker 1: Yes, that's what I'm saying. I want to see just you.
- 58:20Speaker 1: I don't want to watch the whole movie. I've already
- 58:22Speaker 1: seen it.
- 58:24Speaker 2: How far is Louisiana to New York? Like, is there
- 58:29Speaker 2: a train? No, it's too far you know to fly?
- 58:34Speaker 2: Is there a place that I know it's still uprooting
- 58:37Speaker 2: her life, but like a place that would be close
- 58:39Speaker 2: enough to New York. I could see him getting some
- 58:43Speaker 2: guest spots on Law and Order. They unfortunately always put
- 58:48Speaker 2: people of color as like terrorists if they're like for sure,
- 58:53Speaker 2: you know, because I watch a lot of Law and
- 58:56Speaker 2: Horder type shows and it's very bad and so your
- 59:00Speaker 2: brown skin terrorist, right, But I could see him doing that.
- 59:06Speaker 1: Well. Also, let's think about they're in New Orleans, which
- 59:10Speaker 1: is a major, major Southern hub, and they do film
- 59:12Speaker 1: a lot of movies.
- 59:13Speaker 2: There, so he needs to get.
- 59:15Speaker 1: Online and find out, like what's filming here?
- 59:19Speaker 2: N cis New Orleans, cis New Orleans. There might be
- 59:23Speaker 2: CSI I mean New Orleans. There like a nine on
- 59:28Speaker 2: New Orleans something there.
- 59:31Speaker 1: Shot in New Orleans, so which is not how you
- 59:35Speaker 1: say it new or it was just fanatically sounding. Get
- 59:38Speaker 1: out show's shot in New Orleans. Interview with the Vampire
- 59:44Speaker 1: Oh TV show, Your honor TV show American horror story
- 59:50Speaker 1: Coven was was shot in New Orleans. There's an n
- 59:54Speaker 1: cis New Orleans.
- 59:56Speaker 2: I thought, so thank you, okay.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: And then there's just other things that are like Daisy
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Joan and the Jones and the Six like things that
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: were filmed there. So you know, I mean, New Orleans
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: is not like living in Jackson, Mississippi, like you know,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: totally New Orleans is big and absolutely so we're just
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: trying to help you out.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: Meto. Okay. Also, Meto, there's tons of huge tourism there
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: and you have a background in tourism, so mm hmm.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: And he's cute.
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: He's cute.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: So Devin says, mom, let's be real here, and Debbie goes,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: you know, he doesn't post about me on his social
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: media at all because the social media is just for work.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: And you know, I don't care that he doesn't post
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: about me, but it's when you post about other women.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Now we've seen this before on the show where that
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: would the guys try to say, like, I can't post
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: you because I can't have anybody think I think Usman
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: did this, Like I can't have anybody think that I
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: have a girlfriend. I've got to keep up this a
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: stig too. I think it was like, I gotta stuff that,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: like I'm single so the girls will like me. And
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Devin goes, well, okay, I need to see him in
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: person and see how he behaves towards you in person.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: And Mom, honestly, I don't care what you do as
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: long as you're happy. And then Debbie starts crying, goes, yes,
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: but I want you and your brother to be proud
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: of me as a mother. I know you're grown up
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: and you're on your own, but I want to make
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: you proud. And you're talking to her. Devin goes, I
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: don't know about this guy. I hope his intentions are pure.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: You know, my mom, she truly does deserve happiness and
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: a healthy relationship. And I worry Medo is just coming
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: here to be a star.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: And I think, yeah, she's right.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: I think she's right.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: Okay now, but it did take six years for him
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: to get to America.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: And I wonder if they started trying three years ago,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: like she met him that first time, she must have
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: gone back the second time where they got engaged. Yeah,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: and then she's been trying since then.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: That's possible.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: Yeah, so she says. Mito says, a little bit can't
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: be in the bed, and I'm not sure how that's
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: gonna go. Another dog hater, She says, I haven't shared
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: a bed or lived with a man for twenty years,
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: so the dog is the least of my worries. And
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: also justice for a little bit let little bit in
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: the bed. A little bit doesn't A little bit is
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: not given up her spot.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: Or send him to be with Rico? Mother fink suave?
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: Did Rico motherfucker's suave?
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: Die?
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: No?
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: I don't think so?
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: No?
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: What did I did? He?
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: I thought I saw her post about that on Instagram.
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: Oh god, I'm so sorry Rico. Oh that's so sad.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: Okay, So she goes to meet with her friends Astra
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: and Laura, and this is where I noticed the debbie
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: had a two situation in the back and Astra and
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: Laura could also maybe they could get a three for
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: one at the dentist clinic. Anyway, they talk about what
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: the sleeping arrangements be, and she says, Devon will have
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: to go on the couch and he'll sleep with me.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Does she and Devin share a bed in that apartment?
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: Is Devin sleeping in the bed with.
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: Her, Like, why Devin's the daughter?
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: Yeah? Why is Devon will have to go on the couch.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: He's going to sleep with me? And they're like, Devin
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: is grown I know, she said, I know you kids
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: are grown up and on your own, But does Devin
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: live with you and sleep in the bed with you?
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: Put her in the closet, and why mommy in the closet.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: Why mommy in closet?
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: Yeah, Devan in closet.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: And then she says, well, you know, I don't know
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: if he knows he's going to be sleeping with me.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: You know, there's very tight parameters because he's Muslim.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: And Laura says, that's sometimes.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: Flexible on this, it's flexible if he's kissing her. Why
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: he's giving her a tour?
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: Right, it sounds like he might be flexible.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: Laura says, wait, you never had sex with him? And
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: she says no, she's you did nothing. She was, no,
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: we've kissed. And then she said is he a virgin?
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: And she says yes, girl, girl, I would say yes,
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: except that he is an actor and on sets with
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: women all the time, and I think he.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: Or you know, I also think he might be gay.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: True I'm leaning more towards that, but for sure he
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: is not a virgin in any way, shape or form.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: I mean, it's possible, but I highly highly doubt it,
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: given we've seen virgins on this show, because and they
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: still live with their parents and they don't have a
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: super social job or life where they're interacting with people
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: a lot. With him, he's interacting with people constantly, and
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: he might have had to do like kissing scenes and
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: things like that, and so I feel like he is dated,
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: and yeah, I would be very surprised.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: I feel like she might be one of many. And
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: then she applied for the show and he was like, yes,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna narrow it down to her because here's what
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: I'm getting on television.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: That's why I have wondered if he's using her, Like
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: why would he pick her. I'm sure he's given tours
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: to Americans his own age, so maybe, but maybe they
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: weren't into it, and maybe he tries with all the
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: Americans' if that's his goal. I don't feel like he
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: really loves her. I haven't gotten that vibe yet, but
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: we'll see I have either.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: But sometimes we're surprised. Sometimes we're like wow.
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: Sometimes he seems nice sometimes, so we haven't seen him enough.
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: I can't judge.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: So they're like, you're gonna marry this guy you haven't
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: seen in three years, and you're gonna sleep in the
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: same bed with him for ninety days and not have sex.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: And she's seen him in three years.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Another question.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: She can't afford to go like once a year.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: I don't know, because she looked like she had an
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: office and everything. She got to take her dog to work,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: I know, you know. So they remind her. They're like, well,
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: you know, things haven't always been great with him because
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: there was that girl from social media and they asked
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: Debbie in the talking head. They say, oh, no, what
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: was that about? And she says, oh, I can't believe
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: we have to talk about this bitch. It's always the
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: girl's fault, isn't it. It is fault, not his fault. Definitely,
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: it's some Egyptian actress. And she says they broke up
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: over it because he was posting about her a lot
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: and they were canodling in the pictures and he said
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: she was just a friend and he was just doing
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: it for acting. She goes, but I'm not dumb. I
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: could see through that. Okay, so that's good. She's got
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: a little radar up.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: Yeah, and she says, you know.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: I'm not going in with blinders with him. I'm not.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: People write books about this and maybe it's all just
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: a but maybe it's not, and why not take the chance.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: So she's at least aware that this hit go badly.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: So that would be like.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: Way better than the other two debbies. Apologies, Debbie, you
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: are nothing like them.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: So the friends are like, look, we don't know this guy,
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: we don't know what his agenda is, Like, it's weird.
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: So I will say also her friend I skipped this part,
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: but her friends was very funny. When she was like,
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: what you have a slip with the guy, she goes,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: I'm not shocked, but that he's a virgin. I'm shocked
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: because I'm a slut.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: That's funny.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: So now we get to the scene where she's sitting
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: on her bed. Did you notice all the claw clips
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: behind her on the bed?
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: No, but I've seen a lot of people do that
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: and you put them on the railing of the bed.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: They're all over the railing of her bed.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: Yeah, clips, do you need a clip at the ready?
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: I mean, it's like a holster. I gotta have a
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: clip right now.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: I always have have this like on my wrist. Me too,
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: you know. And then sometimes it's a rubber band. If
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: you're listening, and if I go out sometimes and you know,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: you like having a nice outfit or whatever, so you
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: don't bring it because in your mind and then you go,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: oh my god, how you here? I will, I will
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: get a binder clip. Oh, I will get a regular
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: rubber band that like rolls up your newspaper and just
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: breaks your hair off. I don't care. Yeah, when I'm desperate,
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: I'm desperate. But she I think, is a lady of
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: a certain age. She's fifty five, and she was like,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: I have to have twenty five clips everywhere I go,
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: just in case.
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: So I then she's gonna start working out like will
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: like Kim Plath with a claw clip, with a clock clip.
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: She's doing heavy exercise with a claw clip. That's just dangling.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: I will say, because sometimes people write me and ask I, yes,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: I did notice her Louis Vauton bag, and I did
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: look it up and it does appear to be authentic.
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: Wait, debbies, Debbie's okay, then why is she not gone
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: to Egypt for three years.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: I looked at I look because first I looked at
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: it and I go, I've never seen them have that
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: brown leather, because normally it's always the same leather. But
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: I looked it up, and I looked up the pattern
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: and the feet, because these are things that you can
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: tell by the way the pattern does. The pattern has
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: to be up on one side and upside down on
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: the other side because they use one piece. And so
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: I looked and it did seem to be authentic. So
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: before anybody asked, me, okay.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: Okay, then why does she have a one bedroom apartment?
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: And is that correct? Or is Devn literally living there
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: right now? Because she's got a least starting next one.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: I didn't mishear it because I watched it twice and
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: both times I was like, that's weird. Yeah, Devn's on
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: the couch. Okay, all right, if anybody knows, let us know.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: So now we go to where she's sitting on her bed.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: She's got her computer out and stuff and looks like
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: she's working, and she says she's been trying to get
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: in touch with Mito for a couple of days. He's
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: not answering, and she's just like kind of hitting repeat,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: calling him his flight is tomorrow. She said, his flight
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: is like twenty something hours away. His father is not
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: well and they aren't sure of the diagnosis, and his
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: father is going through a series of tests, and she
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: knows he's stressed about that. Lots of questions. Has she
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: met the father, has she seen the father? How does
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: she know this is true?
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: Oh, you think he's lying. That didn't even occur to me.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: It occurred to me.
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: But then why because if he wants to come to America,
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: why would he be postponing?
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: Because maybe, but I mean he's going through this whole
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: K one visa process and been approved.
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: Yeah, so he can't be Like you actually use it
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: within a certain time, Yeah, you have to. Like I
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: can't remember though how much.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: I think it's thirty days. I think once you get it,
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: you have to leave your country within thirty days. Wow,
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: it's short. It's a very short window, or you.
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: Have to reapply completely start over.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: So that's why, like when we get to Ayisha, she said,
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: like he's already packed him ready because he thought he
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: was going to get approved. So she says, the dad
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: is going through a series of tests. She knows he's
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: stressed about it, and she goes you know, this is
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: part of his personality where there are times where he
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: just goes silent for a few days because he's the
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: first kind of person who needs time away, no contact
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: with people. And that's been very hard for me to
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: get used to. And when he goes into this mode
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: of no contact, it's frustrating. Girl, he has a family
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: or something like. But again, he got approved for the
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: K one, so they had to have researched him. Yeah,
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: something I did not right.
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: I didn't feel like he was lying. But I am
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: a non jaded person like Mary Payne. I am an
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: innocent who hosts a podcast about murder.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: You're ten times weren't jaded than me, So shuit your
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: by hole. So finally he answers. She's like, you know,
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: he answers and she does this is you notice she
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: does like claw, like Hi, I'm gonna squeeze you. It's
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: like Matilda and Niles Niles Niles. Yeah, Yeah, he answers
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: and she does like squishy with her hands and he
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: just stares at her like an Ethan plaith dead stare
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: with no words, just stares, and she says, Hi, what's wrong.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: I'd have been like, motherfucker, what you called me in
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: three days? Aren't you coming here tomorrow?
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: See? And if I was him, I'd be exactly like hey,
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: he did like, you know what's wrong, bitch?
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: My mom?
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: My dad is dying?
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: And she goes what's wrong? And he goes, you know
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: what's wrong? And she goes, okay, So what did the
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: doctor say? And he says the doctor is coming next week?
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: And she goes okay, and he goes, I need ten
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: days and she goes, now what and he goes ten
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: ten or fifteen more days? And again if we're on
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: a thirty day window, yeah, and she goes, what can
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: be done in ten days? This not being done now?
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: And he goes, the doctor will come. So he's saying
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: when the doctor comes next week, which is seven days,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: he wants to be able to talk to the doctor.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: We don't know if there's a brother, a sister, a mom,
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: we don't know anything. If he the only caregiver for
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: his dad, and if so, then why are you trying
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: to go to another country? And he gets mad. He goes,
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: I need two weeks and you know, if something happens,
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: I can't return back, you know, because I know once
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: they get here with her in that way, they can't travel. Yeah,
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: and she goes, do you want me to check the
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: airline to see what the price difference would be if
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: you were to change your ticket? And he goes, could
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: you do that? And she goes, I can check it,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: and he goes, do that, check the airline and then
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: I'll find something for the next two weeks. And she's like, okay,
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: so I'm talking to it. She goes, I don't know,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: maybe he's getting cold feet, And you know, at some point,
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: if something is doing this, you may have to see
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: it as a sign that it's not meant to be.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: But I'm just worried he's not going to get on
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: the flight and she starts crying. Yeah, but we do
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: see her next week go to the airport, and I
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: think we have seen him in talking a head. So
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: I do think he comes and maybe the thing about
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: the dad is true, but maybe he's just trying to
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: buy more time with his family that he disappairs to
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: it for three days. Interesting. Yeah, Hey, everybody, it's producer Ingrid.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: You've come to the end of part one of this
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: two third episode. The next part is in your feed enjoy,
