- 0:22I'm so glad you could join us today.
- 0:25Let's say our motto. Repeat after me.
- 0:27I will tell my friends. I will.
- 0:29Tell my. Friends, so they can know God.
- 0:33So they can know God. Here's something I know about
- 0:36God. God loves to give.
- 0:40Well, if that don't beat all, I've flown all over the city and
- 0:45I can't find a worm to eat anywhere.
- 0:48Worms. I guess birds like to eat worms,
- 0:52but not me. If I had a worm, I'd give it to
- 0:55you. Well, what am I going to do,
- 0:57Casey? I'm hungry.
- 1:00If I don't eat soon, I'm not going to have enough strength to
- 1:04fly. Well, let's pray, Polly.
- 1:06God doesn't want you to go hungry.
- 1:09How do you know? Maybe God doesn't like me flying
- 1:13so much. Don't be ridiculous.
- 1:16God made you a bird, and that's what birds do They fly.
- 1:20Fly and eat worms. Let's pray and ask God for some
- 1:24worms for you to eat. Do.
- 1:26You think God would give me some worms?
- 1:28Well, of course he would. God is a cheerful giver.
- 1:31A cheerful giver. What's that mean?
- 1:34Well, God loves to give to people, and he wants us to give
- 1:37to people too. The Bible says give and it will
- 1:40be given to you. Well, I can be a cheerful giver,
- 1:44I just need some worms. Well let's pray.
- 1:48Dear God I know you love Polly and you want to bless her.
- 1:52God she needs some worms to eat. Help her to find the worms you
- 1:56have for her in Jesus name, Amen.
- 2:00Amen. I just thought of a place to go
- 2:02look for some worms. When I find some, I'll bring
- 2:06some for you and the kids. No, don't.
- 2:12We don't eat worms. I don't eat worms.
- 2:16Do you? Hey kids, did you know that
- 2:21there are books about Chubby and Bree?
- 2:23They're available on Amazon and e-book and paperback formats.
- 2:36Up in a tree, hanging down from above a beehive, busily buzzing
- 2:41God's Love. Papa Bee, Mama Bee, Chubby and
- 2:45Bree buzzing God's way. Take a look and you'll see Bri
- 2:55was just busily buzzing about, buzzing up and down, buzzing in
- 2:59and out. She wanted to make some honey to
- 3:02eat. Honey that's sticky honey.
- 3:04That's sweet bees making honey. It's just what bees do.
- 3:09So Bree decided to make honey too.
- 3:12If I work all summer, from morning till night, I'd fill my
- 3:16honeycomb with honey delight. Bree started thinking bee
- 3:21thoughts of a treat. If I make more honey then I can
- 3:25eat, I can take honey to market to sell and make enough money to
- 3:31buy a bell. A bell, you might ask?
- 3:35Well, if you were a bee and you buzzed all day, buzz, buzz
- 3:40busily. A bell has a ring to it.
- 3:43Ring Ding a Ling to a bee a bell is a wonderful thing.
- 3:48She figured and planned and figured some more just how much
- 3:52honey she needed to store. She buzzed and she buzzed till
- 3:56her buzzer was sore to have enough honey.
- 3:59It was quite a chore. Mama, buzzed Bree, I'm.
- 4:03Done making honey. Will you help me sell it then
- 4:07with the money I'm going to buy a nice shiny bell.
- 4:12Well, Bree. Said Mama.
- 4:15I think that is swell. Now don't forget to give God
- 4:19your tithe, huh? Bumble, Bree.
- 4:22A tithe? What's a tithe?
- 4:25Mama explained it to Bree at the time.
- 4:28When you get a dollar, you give God a dime.
- 4:33A dime for each dollar. Bree's little wings froze.
- 4:38Her smile flipped right over. A frown there arose.
- 4:42Oh no, thought Bree as her little head fell.
- 4:47If I give to God, I can't buy a girl.
- 4:51Why aren't you happy? Asked Mama what's?
- 4:54Wrong. You seem so excited all summer
- 4:58long. And then Bree buzzed out an
- 5:01answer. So odd.
- 5:03I wasn't planning on giving to God.
- 5:06Mama just smiled as she held Bree close.
- 5:10A tithe isn't much. God's given the most.
- 5:14He gave us his Son to die for our sins.
- 5:18A tithe is the least that we can give him, but he's God.
- 5:24Bree argued. What does he need with my money?
- 5:28Asked Bree and Mama agreed. God doesn't need your money,
- 5:33that's true. God wants your heart so He can
- 5:36bless you. Bree started thinking about what
- 5:40Mama said. A smile reappeared where the
- 5:43frown was instead. She knew in her heart.
- 5:46Bees do things God's way, so I'll give my tithe in a bee
- 5:53happy way. With what was leftover, she
- 5:56buzzed to the mall. I hope I find something to buy
- 6:00after all. And when she arrived, she
- 6:04noticed on sale. Today is half price on every
- 6:10hour. Next time you're outside, listen
- 6:13close. If you hear buzz buzz, ring,
- 6:16Ding a Ling, then Bree is near. Hey Casey, want to go fishing
- 6:29with me? I can't right now, Stacy.
- 6:31The kids are here for the club meeting.
- 6:33What you got in the bucket? Oh, I've been collecting worms
- 6:36to put on the hook. Fish like worms, you know.
- 6:39Yeah, so do birds. Hey, I wonder if she's the
- 6:43reason Polly couldn't find any worms around here.
- 6:47Casey, can I ask you you a question?
- 6:49Well, sure, Stacy. What is it?
- 6:50Well. I've been thinking about giving
- 6:52away some of my toys. I have more than I can play with
- 6:56and there's a girl down the street that doesn't have any
- 6:58toys at all. I thought I could see if she
- 7:01wanted them. Stacy, that's a great idea.
- 7:04You know God loves a cheerful giver.
- 7:07Well, that settles it then. I'm going to do it right after I
- 7:11finish fishing. Oh no.
- 7:14What's the matter? My worms, they're all gone.
- 7:18They were just here a few minutes ago.
- 7:20Now how am I going to go fishing?
- 7:23You could use cheese. Cheese is a good fish bait.
- 7:27Cheese. Mom.
- 7:30Can you cut the cheese? Have you ever seen the seed
- 7:38before? Do you know what you're supposed
- 7:41to do with these? You dig a hole, you stick it in
- 7:44the ground, cover it back up, you water it, let the sunlight
- 7:48hit it, and eventually a plant grows that produces fruit.
- 7:54And inside all these fruits are more seeds.
- 7:58Then you can plant those seeds, and then you can have a lot more
- 8:01fruit that you can share and give to other people, which
- 8:05reminds me of our memory verse. Our memory verse today is Second
- 8:10Corinthians 97. God loves a cheerful giver.
- 8:16Can you say that with me? Say God loves.
- 8:18God loves. A cheerful giver.
- 8:20A cheerful giver. That reminds me, God himself is
- 8:26a cheerful giver. It's true.
- 8:29He loved us so much that he gave Jesus to die on the cross so
- 8:35that you and I could live a good life with God.
- 8:40When we pray and ask Jesus to come live in our hearts, we
- 8:44become sons and daughters of God.
- 8:47And God loves his children and wants to do good things for his
- 8:51children. And one of the things that he
- 8:54likes that we do is give to other people.
- 8:58Just like our memory verse, God loves a cheerful giver, and God
- 9:03also is a cheerful giver. Let's say our memory verse one
- 9:08more time. Say God loves.
- 9:11God loves a cheerful giver, a. Cheerful giver.
- 9:14Great. Job.
- 9:21Boys and girls, I haven't seen my friend Farmerdale in a while,
- 9:24so I thought we'd pay him a little visit.
- 9:26There's Farmerdale now. Farmerdale.
- 9:29Oh, hey there, Casey. You're just in time.
- 9:33I just finished planting my seed.
- 9:35What are you trying to grow? Corn.
- 9:39You hear that seed? I want you to grow up into a
- 9:42corn stalk full of ears of corn. You hear me?
- 9:46I'm just messing with you. I planted corn seeds so
- 9:50naturally they'll grow up to be corn.
- 9:52That's the way God made them. You reap what you sow, Casey.
- 9:56You. Really like farming, don't you,
- 9:58Farmerdale? You got that right, Casey.
- 10:01I like to call myself a cheerful farmer.
- 10:05Garmin reminds me of God. When I give my little bit of
- 10:08seed to God, he multiplies it back to me.
- 10:11That reminds me of a cheerful giver.
- 10:14When we give to God, He multiplies what we give to bless
- 10:18others. Have you ever heard the story of
- 10:20the little boy who gave Jesus his lunch?
- 10:23Jesus had been teaching thousands of people all day
- 10:26long, and they were getting hungry.
- 10:28So Jesus told his disciples to feed the people.
- 10:31But the disciples didn't have any food.
- 10:34That's when that little boy offered to give them his lunch.
- 10:37And Jesus took the boy's lunch. That lunch looked like a seed
- 10:41compared to all the thousands of hungry people.
- 10:44There was no way the little lunch had enough food to feed
- 10:47all those people. But Jesus gave thanks to God for
- 10:51it and then told his disciples to pass it around to the people.
- 10:55Everyone ate as much as they wanted and there were 12 baskets
- 10:59full of food leftover. That little boy was a cheerful
- 11:03giver. And so was Jesus.
- 11:06God loves a cheerful giver. Second Corinthians 97.
- 11:10That's good to know. Thanks, Farmer Dale.
- 11:14Anytime, Casey. Let's get our.
- 11:21Hearts and minds ready for the Bible verse.
- 11:25You're still here. Of course I'm still here.
- 11:29Where did you think I would be? Stacy said she was going to go
- 11:33fishing with you. I can't go right now, I have the
- 11:36clubhouse to do. OK, see ya.
- 11:39Hey, where do you think you're going fishing with Stacy?
- 11:42You have a Bible verse to learn. And a Bible story to listen to
- 11:471st. X Nay, on the itching.
- 11:51Faye, what was that? That was pig Latin.
- 11:56Next on the fishing. Today's Bible verse is Second
- 11:59Corinthians 97. God loves a cheerful giver.
- 12:03Let's say it together, boys and girls.
- 12:05God loves a cheerful giver. God loves a cheerful giver.
- 12:10Oh, I got this one. God shoves a cheap old river
- 12:17Xnay on the Earth Bay. I got it wrong.
- 12:21Yeah, but isn't that why I can't go fishing?
- 12:25The river is cheap and old, no? Let's say it again, kids, God
- 12:31loves a cheerful giver. God loves a cheerful giver.
- 12:36So the river isn't cheap and old, No.
- 12:40OK. Second Corinthians 97 God loves
- 12:45a cheerful giver. Second Corinthians 97 God loves
- 12:50a cheerful giver. Now can I go fishing after the
- 12:54Bible story? You can.
- 12:56Now it's time for today's It's Bible Story brain.
- 13:02Oh, I can't wait to hear it and I can't wait to do it.
- 13:07It's the hearer and the doer. Of God's Word.
- 13:11Who's? Blessed.
- 13:25Great crowd of people followed Jesus because they saw him
- 13:28healing the sick, but they were hungry and there was nothing for
- 13:33them to eat. The disciples didn't know what
- 13:36to do. Look at all these people, where
- 13:39can we buy some food to feed them all?
- 13:41Lord, there's not a market around here for miles.
- 13:44There's over 5000 men, not counting the women and children.
- 13:49I'll go count the women and children.
- 13:51Lord, no one has any food except the little boy.
- 13:56He gave us his lunch, but it's not enough to do any good, not
- 14:01with all these people. What's in the lunch?
- 14:05Five bread rolls, 2 fish. Maybe we should just send
- 14:09everyone home. Have everyone sit down.
- 14:14Everyone sit down. I could have done that, Father.
- 14:19Thank you for this little boy's lunch.
- 14:22Use it to meet the need here today.
- 14:24Amen Andrew. Go get the other disciples to
- 14:27help you pass out the food. Food.
- 14:29What food? The lunch.
- 14:31Yes, pass it around. You're the boss.
- 14:37I give up on counting the kids. They won't sit still.
- 14:41They're running everywhere. These kids are sitting very
- 14:44still. They're not running around.
- 14:45Oh yeah, for you they behave. Go help Andrew pass out the food
- 14:49to the people we've. Got food from where?
- 14:58I, I don't believe it. I mean, I, I do believe it.
- 15:02What I mean is everyone ate until they were full, and now we
- 15:08have 12 baskets of leftovers, all from a little boy's lunch.
- 15:13Oh, and I saved you a plate of food.
- 15:20Where did we get all this food, Jesus?
- 15:25Where'd Jesus go? I'm back with the worms, Casey,
- 15:33just like I promised. Where'd you find the worms,
- 15:37Polly? They were all gathered together
- 15:39in a nice little bucket. It was a feast fit for a king.
- 15:43Anyway, I saved these for you. You guys can share, see ya.
- 15:51Well, that's nice of Polly, but I don't like worms and you don't
- 15:56need to eat worms either. But I do know what you need, and
- 15:59so does God. God wants to give you all of
- 16:02your needs. That's why he sent Jesus to die
- 16:05for our sins. God knew we needed Jesus in our
- 16:08hearts to help us live the way God wants us to.
- 16:12So if you've never asked Jesus into your heart, then let's pray
- 16:15together right now. Dear God, dear God, thanks for
- 16:19sending Jesus. Thanks for sending.
- 16:21Jesus. To die for my sins.
- 16:25To die for my sins. Jesus come into my be the boss
- 16:28of my life, be the boss of my life.
- 16:35In Jesus name. In Jesus name, Amen.
- 16:38Amen. Time for spiritual exercises.
- 16:43Everyone stand up on your feet. Here we go.
- 16:46You ready? Repeat after me.
- 16:48Stretch it up real high. I love the Lord.
- 16:52I love the Lord. With all my heart.
- 16:55With all my heart. Now show me your muscles.
- 16:59God is good. God is good.
- 17:02All the time. All the time.
- 17:05I'm not afraid. I'm not afraid.
- 17:08God is with me. God.
- 17:10Is with. Me good.
- 17:12Now show me your Superman pose by Jesus stripes.
- 17:17By Jesus stripes. I am healed.
- 17:20I am healed. Nice, let's work now.
- 17:23These are my favorite kinky push ups up down up.
- 17:28Down. I love others I.
- 17:31Love. Others like Jesus loves me.
- 17:33Like Jesus loves me. That was a good workout.
- 17:38All right, let's cool it down. Let's stretch it out.
- 17:42I obey my parents. I obey my.
- 17:45Parents, for this pleases God. For it pleases God.
- 17:50Oh, good job kids, Now just shake it out.
- 17:52Shake it out. Turn around if you want.
- 17:56Good job, kids. I'm proud of you.
- 18:01So one time Jesus was teaching a bunch of peoples and the
- 18:04disciples said to Jesus, Hey Jesus, probably everyone is
- 18:07getting hungry right now, maybe we should send them home for
- 18:09some tamales. Tamales.
- 18:12You know. Food, OH.
- 18:14Yeah, so Jesus says to disciples, he says don't send
- 18:17them home, you give them some comida.
- 18:20Comida. You know, food.
- 18:22But yeah, so the disciples says to Jesus, they say what stelloco
- 18:26that means, are you crazy? So they say to Jesus.
- 18:28They say we don't even have any burritos or nothing, man.
- 18:31Burritos. You know.
- 18:34Food. So Jesus tells them, he says go
- 18:37look around, somebody's got to have a torta or something.
- 18:39Torta. You know.
- 18:41Food, right? So they spread out and they find
- 18:44a little boy with some tortillas and pascals.
- 18:47No offense. Let me guess, some food?
- 18:50Yeah, some food. It's just a little boy's lunch,
- 18:54nothing special. No offense.
- 18:56Why would I be offended? Anyways, all they have is a
- 19:00lunch and there's like a million people there.
- 19:03A million. Not a million, like a million.
- 19:06About 5000 men, not counting the women or children.
- 19:09Man. That's like a million.
- 19:11I know right? Jesus takes a boys lunch and
- 19:14prays over it and then they pass the food to everybody and
- 19:18everybody eats until they are full.
- 19:20Everybody. Like a million peoples. 5000
- 19:24men, not counting women and children.
- 19:27I know, right? And they had 12 baskets full of
- 19:30leftovers. Leftovers.
- 19:32You know. Food.
- 19:33I know what leftovers are. I'll bet that little boy was
- 19:37happy that he gave Jesus his lunch.
- 19:39What? Happy is our word for today.
- 19:42Second Corinthians 97 says God loves a cheerful giver or a
- 19:47happy giver. We can be happy giving to God
- 19:50when we know that God is going to do something miraculous when
- 19:53we give to Him. We can.
- 19:55Think about it, that little boy could have shared has lunch with
- 19:58maybe one or two other people and there would be like a
- 20:01million other people still hungry.
- 20:04But when he gave it to Jesus, Jesus shared it with everybody.
- 20:08You know what would make me happy right now?
- 20:10What? Some tostadas, Frijoles, Chiles,
- 20:13rellenos, tacos, enchiladas. What am I saying?
- 20:19You want some fishy flakes. Fishy flakes.
- 20:22You know, food. What's the matter, fish?
- 20:27Aren't you hungry? I hope you're happy.
- 20:30Be glad you're not some little boy's lunch.
- 20:34Lunch with. You can hear and see more of
- 20:40Paco and the Fish telling stories about Jesus on your
- 20:44favorite podcast or video platform.
- 20:47Just search for Paco and the Fish.
- 20:56KC do you know what my favorite part of the clubhouse was today?
- 21:02Let me guess, you liked it when Polly gave me worms to eat?
- 21:06You ate worms. No, Polly gave me some worms for
- 21:11the kids and me to eat, but we don't like worms.
- 21:14I like worms. Gummy worms.
- 21:20So what was your favorite part of the clubhouse?
- 21:23I liked it when that girl was doing pinky push ups.
- 21:27She makes them look. Really easy fuzzy.
- 21:30She does pinky push ups at every clubhouse meeting.
- 21:34She does. Yes, that's part of our
- 21:37spiritual exercise. We do spiritual exercise.
- 21:42Oh brother, So what did you learn today?
- 21:46I learned that a gummy bear is a bear with no.
- 21:50Teeth. Get it gummy, no teeth.
- 21:54That's not what we learned today, Fuzzy.
- 21:57We learned that God loves a happy giver.
- 22:01I've been putting my offering money in the candy machine.
- 22:06Fuzzy when you given the offering, you were giving to
- 22:09God. Jesus said it is more blessed to
- 22:13give than receive, so be happy when you give.
- 22:17I'm happy when I buy candy. I'm happy when I buy candy too,
- 22:23but I'm happier when I give because I'm acting like God and
- 22:28God loves to give to us. Like the time that little boy
- 22:32gave his lunch to Jesus. Jesus ate a little boy's lunch.
- 22:37No, he prayed over it and passed it out to his disciples to give
- 22:42to the crowd of people. They fed over 5000 people that
- 22:47day from one little boy giving his lunch to Jesus.
- 22:52Oh, so when we give to God other.
- 22:55People get. Blessed, and you do too.
- 23:00God loves a cheerful giver. Second Corinthians 97.
- 23:04Can you say that Fuzzy? God loves a cheerful giver.
- 23:09Second Corinthians 97. Very good.
- 23:13Say goodbye, Fuzzy. Goodbye, Fuzzy.
- 23:18Goodbye kids, see you next time at the Jesus and Me Clubhouse.
- 23:25See you back again
