  development of specific, Empowers, this form of

  concentrated effort, will eventually bear fruit.

  If done with serious intent and discipline the power eventually

  can be utilized at will. The question, of course, arises

  whether this focus on obtaining. Such Powers is not actually

  distracting for the spiritual Seeker.

  It is one thing for powers to arise spontaneously, or to be

  naturally developed in an individual and it is quite

  another to devote serious time. Attention and focus to the

  acquisition of these powers. Even when such Powers arise

  naturally, the spiritual Seeker has to evaluate to what extent

  they aid in the process of the sadhna.

  And to what extent they are, either a distraction or are
• 1:24
  simply feeding the ego personality.

  Obviously, as a new expression of Consciousness takes hold as
• 1:33
  Humanity evolves beyond the mental level, as its highest
• 1:37
  expression. One could expect that this new
• 1:40
  level of Consciousness naturally includes certain powers of
• 1:44
  understanding perception and action that are not available to
• 1:50
  the general mental vital, physical Evolution within which
• 1:54
  we currently live in Act. As these Powers then come into
• 1:59
  play and become normalized. They will not obviously, require
• 2:03
  the kind of effort needed in a self exceeding of the current
• 2:08
  level of Consciousness. And they will be part of a new
• 2:12
  framework of living. In the meantime as the spiritual
• 2:17
  discipline proceeds and the secret begins to have
• 2:21
  experiences of openings and descents of intermediate, stages
• 2:26
  of development. There may come a glimpses and
• 2:30
  expressions of certain powers which can be experienced
• 2:34
  understood and not turned into an object of Desire.

  Certainly the idea of creating either fame or Fortune from the
• 2:44
  use of these Powers holds its dangers for the seeker and would
• 2:49
  be highly discouraged as a result.

  faculties and want to acquire them.

  But they have some value only when they are under one's
