Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:21
  April 4th, 2025. And look, I I thought I was good
• 0:29
with two minutes to go because I was not thinking there was going
• 0:34
to be two goals in the last two minutes of the game.
• 0:39
Sure, I expected the empty netter, but I still had a
• 0:42
cushion and then wasn't expecting there to be a power
• 0:45
play and the hockey club to cash in on that power play almost
• 0:51
immediately. So that was kind of AI don't
• 0:55
know that, but that might even be that might qualify as a bit
• 0:57
of a bad beat. But anyways, that's the way it
• 1:00
goes. So let's switch over to the to
• 1:05
the basketball. We have the terrible, terrible
• 1:09
New Orleans Pelicans going into LA tonight.
• 1:13
They're taking on the Lakers now.
• 1:15
Here's what I'm thinking. The Lakers played last night and
• 1:19
the Lakers are old. All of their good players are
• 1:23
  old, so on a back-to-back, they're old.
• 1:28
They're going to be a little rundown a bit.
• 1:32
You got the Pelicans coming in. Yes, they suck.
• 1:36
Yes, the Lakers are still probably going to win.
• 1:39
But the Pelicans are getting 15 1/2.
• 1:41
Can they keep it around 10? I think so.
• 1:44
So if they can keep it around 10 and I'm getting 15 1/2, maybe
• 1:47
they can even keep it within 12. Hopefully that means I can still
• 1:51
get AW. Yes, I know I'm betting on the
• 1:54
Pelicans to not suck too much. But I think with, you know, old
• 2:00
plus a back-to-back and sucking and young and and 15 1/2.
• 2:06
I'm hoping for a win. So we're going to go New Orleans
• 2:09
paint Pelicans, not Penguins. Pelicans plus 15 1/2 against the
• 2:15
LA Lakers in tonight's NBA basketball action.
• 2:18
It's anything better than that? Pound it.
• 2:20
That's my pick and I'm sticking to it.
