- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's fuck ya Friday!
- 0:01[SPEAKER_01]: Fuck you!
- 0:02[SPEAKER_01]: Get ready for some wins!
- 0:05[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to the B.It Till You See It Podcast, where we talk about taking messy action, knowing that perfect is boring.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm also Logan, Ply's instructor, and fit this business coach.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_01]: I've trained thousands of people around the world, and the number one thing I see stopping people from achieving anything is self-doubt.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_01]: My friends, action brings clarity.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_01]: and it's the antidote to fear.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_01]: Each week my guess will bring bold, executable, intrinsic, and targeted steps that you can use to put yourself first and be it until you see it.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's a practice, not a perfect, let's get started.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: Hello, I'll be able to welcome to your mid month of May for FYF.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's our third of five Friday.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_01]: So we have a lot of May celebrations, which means that you have five chances of the May to find something to celebrate.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_01]: Something to send in something to remind yourself you're doing a great job.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: You are, and you're on your way to being as I see you're doing a self-a great job.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: So this thing that inspired me that I'm sharing with you.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, here's the deal.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_01]: It is quite possible that I shared it last fall.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_01]: If I didn't, I fucked up and I'm sure with you now because it does say how to set boundaries of family this Thanksgiving, if they say something offensive, but honestly like because this world continues to be in a shit hole and people around me that I like thought I grew me in a lot of things, still I'm time to say things and I'm like, whoa, that's fucking offensive.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_01]: Bye bye.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we need a reshare, so if you need a reminder of this, uh, here's what it is.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_01]: So if someone says something offensive, does have you Thanksgiving?
- 1:42[SPEAKER_01]: Can just be around you.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_01]: What an odd thing to say out loud?
- 1:47[SPEAKER_01]: I've found comfortable with the statement you just made.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_01]: I don't get it.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: Can you explain that one?
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: Wow, I'm not sure how to respond.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_01]: That was an unkind thing to say.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_01]: That's an insight thought.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_01]: And so I like those.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_01]: I think this is a great, like it's like,
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: At least can respond, and maybe make some think if they doesn't.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_01]: So if it's politics you want to avoid, then you can say, this isn't a conversation I like to have right now, or you can say I have a lot of thoughts in the state of the country, but I'd rather share them another time.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_01]: You can also say, I won't be engaging and talk about politics.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_01]: If we can't stick to other topics I'll take a break from the table, that one's a little more confrontational.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not willing to be badgered right now, so I'm going to walk away.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_01]: You can do all of those things.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_01]: Remember, we are the five.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_01]: if comments about food or your body won't stop.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_01]: So this is important because I really do believe that like stop commenting on women's bodies, we just fucking need to.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_01]: It makes me felt uncomfortable when you talk about my body.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm going to end this here.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'm really trying to have a better relationship with myself this year.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to ask that you not comment on my looks.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'm listening to my body and what it craves right now.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_01]: Let's focus on something else rather
- 3:00[SPEAKER_01]: I thought we were past talking about people's weight in 2025.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that that's, you know, I know that it can sound like, oh my god, I'm going to make them uncomfortable.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're making you feel uncomfortable.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_01]: We have to get good at making people who make us uncomfortable and comfortable with the uncomfortable too.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_01]: If your relationship status family planning is the unwanted subject.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, I would love to chat with you about Blink rather than my dating life.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_01]: I'd like to get that private right now.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_01]: I might not be engaged, but I have Blink going on that I'm happy to talk about instead.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_01]: Kids aren't in my equation right now.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_01]: I'd rather work on expanding my family when I'm ready.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_01]: So those are all, and I think you can change those to like, fit your situation, but I do think, like, giving them something else to bring up is also fine, but like letting people know I want to talk about that.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's all, boundaries are kind.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_01]: And if they're commenting on your finances, well, fuck them, but you can say, if you're trying to help, I could use my advice on blank, otherwise I'm good.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_01]: So give them a thing that you want to talk about rather than on getting all this unsolicited advice.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_01]: I'm doing my best in a stressful economy.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_01]: I manage my finances well and making progress towards my goals.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_01]: It's all you need to know.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_01]: And then if the question just fills with the last one, if the question fills personal, the little two personal.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_01]: This isn't something I want to talk about right now.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_01]: That's a sensitive topic for me.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about something else.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, I've been wanting to ask you about blank.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_01]: How's that going?
- 4:23[SPEAKER_01]: So that one, you know, that one might be a little spicy, but I hope these help.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_01]: Still afraid to look at the transcripts of this podcast, copy and paste that put in your notes, these need to text the people who ask and comfortable things or say, you know, you just pull it up, like, you know, you'll get better at it, but it's important.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: We have to have these things that they're ready because sometimes we're like, oh my god, I don't want to say, and they just, like, said something awful.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_01]: for the wins.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_01]: You know, baby, I got your back on these things.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_01]: The win I'm gonna share today is from C.A.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: Good fellow.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_01]: I've now started my classical map Pilates teacher training course.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I know this person and this is a huge deal.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_01]: So happy for you.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: I'm so happy for you.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_01]: Give me photos and how it's going.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: All right, my win and then I'll get your mantra get you on your way.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_01]: So I found out that someone used AI to steal my images and write a shitty book.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, oh my God, this is so annoying.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's gonna take so long.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: And the team went to action and Amazon took the book down in like no time at all.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_01]: We put it up there, it's proof that it was ours, our images, and they took down.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_01]: And when telling people about this shitty thing, I found out that other people were using my images, which would be like, you'd think, oh my God, that's going to be so terrible.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it sucks.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_01]: It feels violating in weird ways.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it feels weird even to use that word violating because it's like, is it?
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: But like, it is.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_01]: And people like, oh, don't let this take up your amazing energy.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: Here's a deal.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: You have to protect your IP.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: So it does have to take some energy, but I'm really proud of how I'm able to trust the team to find a new system to put in place to take care of this situation and it not keep me up at night, but we are taking action legal actions where where we can.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_01]: but I didn't let it like derail the goals.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_01]: I had that week.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, okay, this is happening.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_01]: What can we do?
- 6:12[SPEAKER_01]: What are our steps?
- 6:13[SPEAKER_01]: What's our first step of action?
- 6:15[SPEAKER_01]: And then work on from that.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's just really, it's really nice not to like end up in a puddle of like what was me.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I've got to do this to you, and in asking for help, I got to see how many of you are like here to support the work that we're doing and you understand what that means and because of you were finding out the images that are being used that are like in the hidden places a little harder.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm so grateful.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_01]: So if you see images of me, they're not on my flashcards and they're not my posters, most likely I did not give them permission to use them.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_01]: So just send it if I did I'll let you know.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_01]: at your mantra is, each part of me is worthy of love.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: Each part of me is worthy of love.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_01]: Each part of you is worthy of love.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: Be it, babe.
