- 3:27Speaker 3: Well, first, welcome to our first day in Hell.
- 3:29Speaker 2: If you were wondering why it was so hot, I mean,
- 3:33Speaker 2: uh in October November, Well it's been pretty warm outside physically,
- 3:38Speaker 2: so I.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Think I think I.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Think we crossed over into the Demon realm. Shout out
- 3:46Speaker 2: to everyone who watched Demons Slayer. I think we're here
- 3:50Speaker 2: now with Michael Jackson, the anime Michael Jackson.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Those watch Demis stay you know what I'm talking about.
- 3:55Speaker 4: God damn, I didn't know that it's a.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Character literally the main bad guy that looks like exactly
- 4:00Speaker 2: Michael Jackson.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Which is fucked up and somebody, yeah, Michael was stay
- 4:05Speaker 1: getting disrespected and animation, stay getting in animation.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Well it's well, it's it's a yeah. Well anyway, that's
- 4:14Speaker 3: neither here nor there.
- 4:15Speaker 4: Michael, because they don't care about us.
- 4:18Speaker 2: That that's something I will say a lot when we
- 4:22Speaker 2: when we're doing our reviews and stuff.
- 4:28Speaker 4: Yeah. Ben.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Part of the reason why Ben is thanking me is
- 4:31Speaker 2: because about seven thirty am this morning, I text him
- 4:34Speaker 2: and I said no, I told him we had planned
- 4:38Speaker 2: to record this day anyway, you know, but after what transpired,
- 4:45Speaker 2: I just didn't have it in me. I and really
- 4:49Speaker 2: all day I had been in my pajamas and again
- 4:51Speaker 2: I had text him at seven thirty in the morning,
- 4:53Speaker 2: but I was up till maybe three am, right, and
- 4:56Speaker 2: then actually fell asleep, woke up and and I looked
- 5:01Speaker 2: over to my husband and he looked at me and
- 5:05Speaker 2: just did the slow nod.
- 5:07Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, it happened.
- 5:12Speaker 4: Sorry, that's how I woke up. Yeah, and yeah, no,
- 5:17Speaker 4: go ahead.
- 5:18Speaker 2: And finish, go ahead. What was your comment to that?
- 5:21Speaker 1: No, it just reminded me of when I was in
- 5:22Speaker 1: prison and I had a dream that the Lakers won
- 5:25Speaker 1: the championship and then, you know, not having TV, I
- 5:27Speaker 1: have no idea, so I hadn't call my man's up
- 5:30Speaker 1: and he was like, that was just a dream.
- 5:35Speaker 2: I wish, I wish, I wish this was just a
- 5:39Speaker 2: fever dream.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Yeah, but I mean my fever dream was like a
- 5:43Speaker 1: good thing. And the reality was they lost the Boston
- 5:45Speaker 1: that year, you know, But this is like, you know,
- 5:48Speaker 1: the reality is we lost you know again, the reality is.
- 5:52Speaker 3: We've always been in the bad place, and I've now
- 5:55Speaker 3: been revealed to us.
- 5:56Speaker 2: We're episode three, We're in episode three or four of
- 5:59Speaker 2: the season where they actually tell you, oh.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Actually you've been here the whole time.
- 6:05Speaker 2: But yeah, I just I just was not when I
- 6:08Speaker 2: say prepared, I wasn't prepared to core Like, I was
- 6:11Speaker 2: just largely not going to do it.
- 6:13Speaker 3: I am and was tired. I am and was feeling defeated.
- 6:20Speaker 2: I am and was feeling overwhelmed, stressed out, all of
- 6:24Speaker 2: the negative internal thoughts you can think of. And as
- 6:29Speaker 2: the day went on and everyone says, don't do this,
- 6:31Speaker 2: don't do this, you know your mental health.
- 6:34Speaker 3: I'm a capricorn. I'm gonna do it anyway. I doom scrolled.
- 6:38Speaker 2: I information gathered and that honestly, my first my first
- 6:42Speaker 2: inclination in life is to rather information, right, and that
- 6:45Speaker 2: does turn into doom scrolling, that does turn into hyperfixation,
- 6:50Speaker 2: so you know, and Twitter is the most negative social
- 6:55Speaker 2: media network on the planet nowadays.
- 7:00Speaker 3: So literally, like I, there are there are.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Many days why I just avoid opening up in the
- 7:04Speaker 2: mornings because that's typically when the first maybe twenty tweets
- 7:09Speaker 2: is someone saying somebody died or somebody passed and they
- 7:12Speaker 2: got this illness that like it's like the pestilence digitally formed.
- 7:19Speaker 2: So that's why I generally try to not mess with it.
- 7:22Speaker 2: But obviously this is something different. I need to know information,
- 7:25Speaker 2: what's going on, what's happening. Like I said, I got
- 7:26Speaker 2: the I got the disappointed nod. I said, I have
- 7:29Speaker 2: to understand what happened. And like I said, for hours
- 7:31Speaker 2: and literally for most of it, you know, I was
- 7:33Speaker 2: on and off of it, just seeing what people were saying,
- 7:35Speaker 2: me not saying much, but retweeting a lot of things
- 7:38Speaker 2: and just trying to understand the general sentiment and how
- 7:41Speaker 2: people feel and what's going on. And as time went on,
- 7:46Speaker 2: like I said, I hit ben at bat seven thirty
- 7:48Speaker 2: this morning. Then about as time went on. I don't
- 7:51Speaker 2: know if it was like late morning or early afternoon.
- 7:54Speaker 2: I hit him back and I said, you know what,
- 7:56Speaker 2: I'm let's do it. And it could be a few reasons.
- 8:01Speaker 2: One mainly because as you're going through the stages of grief,
- 8:05Speaker 2: you go through different emotions, and the first being utter
- 8:09Speaker 2: sorrow and despair. I don't even know if that's the order,
- 8:12Speaker 2: but that was my order. Then the next just being anger.
- 8:18Speaker 2: And I am and have been in a crash out
- 8:21Speaker 2: phase for the last few hours and will continue to
- 8:24Speaker 2: be probably through the rest of this year. I can't
- 8:29Speaker 2: say I'm surprised about what happened. I'm not going to
- 8:31Speaker 2: sit here and say I knew it.
- 8:32Speaker 3: I knew it.
- 8:33Speaker 2: I'm not gonna say none of that shit, right. I'm
- 8:35Speaker 2: just going to also not be naive with what went down.
- 8:43Speaker 2: And because of that point, and because of what we
- 8:46Speaker 2: do here at full ow Nerds, because we do have
- 8:49Speaker 2: a platform with people who listen to us and ask
- 8:52Speaker 2: us to speak and ask us for advice and want
- 8:56Speaker 2: us to be in their lives. And as I cantinue
- 9:00Speaker 2: to read the things that were more productive, which was
- 9:04Speaker 2: explaining about the role of art and our people during
- 9:11Speaker 2: I mean in general, but especially during periods of negativity, oppression,
- 9:21Speaker 2: especially during the when you're the most down bad. We create,
- 9:29Speaker 2: we achieve we we are already alive, but become alive
- 9:34Speaker 2: in a different way. And most importantly, we do that
- 9:37Speaker 2: for us, for each other as a people. So obviously
- 9:44Speaker 2: other people benefit from that. However, we do it primarily
- 9:51Speaker 2: to bring ourselves joy, bring ourselves hope, bring ourselves to
- 9:56Speaker 2: a place of creative freedom. We are trying to so
- 10:00Speaker 2: it's a place where we can display some sort of freedom,
- 10:04Speaker 2: which is why we do our art. So for me,
- 10:06Speaker 2: one of the ways I perform my art, if you will,
- 10:08Speaker 2: is to have this podcast and to talk with Ben
- 10:11Speaker 2: and share our thoughts and share our concerns and share
- 10:14Speaker 2: our hopes and dreams and.
- 10:15Speaker 3: All this other stuff.
- 10:17Speaker 2: And as I thought about it that context and that lens,
- 10:21Speaker 2: I said, I can't let this silence me. I can't
- 10:27Speaker 2: let this silence us as a unit, because Ben and
- 10:29Speaker 2: me and I are pretty much packaged.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Deal.
- 10:35Speaker 2: I'm sorry if my voice is waving because I'm extremely
- 10:37Speaker 2: extremely angry.
- 10:39Speaker 3: I'm extremely angry, but.
- 10:42Speaker 4: Yeah, this was.
- 10:45Speaker 2: I just understood the level of responsibility, importance of making
- 10:51Speaker 2: sure that our voice is out there.
- 10:56Speaker 1: All right, Well, let me take over and my uh
- 11:02Speaker 1: let's see how it went down for me was last night.
- 11:04Speaker 4: I was watching the.
- 11:05Speaker 1: News and uh, Trump took Indiana and Kentucky, and I
- 11:11Speaker 1: was like, oh, fuck, you know, I just had a
- 11:12Speaker 1: bad feeling immediately from there. It just and I saw,
- 11:15Speaker 1: you know, I went on, you know, like you did
- 11:17Speaker 1: information gather trying to find a you know, silver lining
- 11:19Speaker 1: in him taking those two, and they're like, well, these
- 11:21Speaker 1: townies went blue when they never did before.
- 11:23Speaker 4: And I was like, okay, you know, we still got something.
- 11:25Speaker 4: But I was like, fuck it, I'm going to bed.
- 11:27Speaker 1: I can't, you know, I can't fucking deal with this
- 11:28Speaker 1: shit because I had hope, but I also know the
- 11:32Speaker 1: realistic form of America. I really had a lot of hope.
- 11:35Speaker 1: I cannot fucking lie. I really thought, you know, it
- 11:40Speaker 1: was a rapski for this nigga. You know, I'm still
- 11:42Speaker 1: not sure the validity of the votes, but you know,
- 11:45Speaker 1: whatever who It's doubtful we will ever know in any
- 11:48Speaker 1: you know, electric I never know, you know, it just
- 11:51Speaker 1: is what it is. But I still just thought, you know,
- 11:54Speaker 1: we had some I thought, you know, people would see
- 11:56Speaker 1: this nigga for the Stan mart as he is. So anyway,
- 12:01Speaker 1: I went to see woke up it. I can't remember
- 12:05Speaker 1: what time it was in the middle of night, but
- 12:06Speaker 1: you know, people were already calling it.
- 12:08Speaker 4: It was ugly.
- 12:09Speaker 1: You know, I don't want to I had an exchange
- 12:14Speaker 1: with the person who was quite upset that I posted
- 12:18Speaker 1: the part of our exchange on my story today on
- 12:21Speaker 1: Instagram at DJ Ben.
- 12:22Speaker 4: I mean, you can check it out.
- 12:24Speaker 1: And I didn't at them then, I don't want to
- 12:27Speaker 1: at them now. But they immediately hit me in the
- 12:30Speaker 1: middle of the night, you know, gloating basically telling me
- 12:33Speaker 1: how they knew this was coming and I didn't get it,
- 12:35Speaker 1: et cetera, et cetera. And so today we had a
- 12:39Speaker 1: long discussion on the phone, which really didn't amount to much.
- 12:43Speaker 4: It just really.
- 12:51Speaker 1: There is a serious lack of education in this country
- 12:53Speaker 1: and amongst people. And like the thing is, I don't
- 12:58Speaker 1: even want to waste time on this person, this black man,
- 13:01Speaker 1: because there are some mixed up black people. But I
- 13:04Speaker 1: did some tweets today and I just want to reiterate
- 13:06Speaker 1: them real quick, read them off because there's something I've
- 13:10Speaker 1: said on the show before. But I just really want
- 13:13Speaker 1: to make this point because I know people are going
- 13:14Speaker 1: through it, and like that was one of the reasons
- 13:16Speaker 1: why I wanted to do this today because someone hit
- 13:18Speaker 1: me up and.
- 13:18Speaker 4: They were like, Yo, I'm about to go listen to
- 13:19Speaker 4: the combat Jet show.
- 13:21Speaker 1: From when Trump first won, you know what I mean,
- 13:23Speaker 1: because I just want to remember what he said to
- 13:25Speaker 1: get ready for that shit, and you know, rescues of
- 13:28Speaker 1: my brother combat Jack, you know what I mean, see
- 13:30Speaker 1: always with us all the time, you know, combat jat forever,
- 13:34Speaker 1: and you know, so I wanted to be there for people.
- 13:36Speaker 1: It's like the same way my brother Mellow Brown talks
- 13:39Speaker 1: about Jimmy Hendrix Purple Hayes. He says, that's like a
- 13:43Speaker 1: hug for people in these trying times. He said that
- 13:45Speaker 1: before this shit, you know, and he was like, That's
- 13:47Speaker 1: why I wrote it, you know, to give people that
- 13:49Speaker 1: warm hug they need when they're feeling, you know, the
- 13:52Speaker 1: oppression of a fascist empire. So this is what I
- 13:56Speaker 1: said today, and I've said this and various forms on
- 13:58Speaker 1: the show before, but I just really wanted to get
- 14:00Speaker 1: this point. Across America is founded on capitalism and protecting
- 14:04Speaker 1: rich white men. It has never been a true democracy
- 14:07Speaker 1: for one day of its existence, right, I mean to
- 14:11Speaker 1: expound on that real quick. It's like, you know, the
- 14:14Speaker 1: founding principles of America are capitalism, misogyny, patriarchal society, and
- 14:23Speaker 1: protecting white men, rich white men, which is pretty much
- 14:26Speaker 1: all those things I said, patriarchal society, capitalism, et cetera.
- 14:28Speaker 1: You know, anyway, this is not a verter voter turnout
- 14:32Speaker 1: issue or liberals being too conservative, even though a lot
- 14:35Speaker 1: of them are.
- 14:35Speaker 4: Let's keep it real, I thought.
- 14:37Speaker 1: I thought when Harris got up there and started talking
- 14:39Speaker 1: about fracking, I'm like, Jesus Price, woman, you know, but.
- 14:42Speaker 4: What do you do. You're trying to appeal to.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Your trying to appeal to the people who.
- 14:46Speaker 4: But that's also to the money. That's that's who she's
- 14:49Speaker 4: trying to appeal to, to the people.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Who weren't going to go for in the first place,
- 14:52Speaker 2: as evidenced by the ninety four percent Republican for a Republican.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Yeah, that part this is an American issue. America was
- 15:01Speaker 1: founded to protect the ideals of a slept few white men.
- 15:03Speaker 1: As long as white men and those who think like
- 15:05Speaker 1: white men or think they are white men are the majority.
- 15:07Speaker 1: In this country. This will be the outcome. Shit is
- 15:11Speaker 1: fucked up. The judicial, legislative, and executive branch all might
- 15:15Speaker 1: be in the hands of mad men, and a lot
- 15:18Speaker 1: of people, really back to the education thing, really do
- 15:20Speaker 1: not understand what that means. Like I had the same
- 15:23Speaker 1: person tell me, oh, we've lived through a Trump president's vow.
- 15:26Speaker 1: You don't know what, And I was like that nigga
- 15:27Speaker 1: never had this, you know, I mean I didn't. I
- 15:29Speaker 1: didn't have time to explain this to this person because
- 15:31Speaker 1: it's just like I'm gonna explain this people on the show.
- 15:34Speaker 3: There were some firewalls.
- 15:35Speaker 1: There were some firewalls, and the American system of government
- 15:39Speaker 1: is set up to have these firewalls.
- 15:41Speaker 4: It was taught to me in school. I thought a
- 15:43Speaker 4: lot of people, but.
- 15:43Speaker 1: I'm I'm really realizing how bad, like the system of
- 15:47Speaker 1: education has gotten like since I was in school, Like
- 15:50Speaker 1: it's really bad. Public schools are really fucking terrible because
- 15:54Speaker 1: it's like basically shit like this. You know, basically the
- 15:56Speaker 1: executive branch is the president and shit, and you know,
- 16:00Speaker 1: the legislative bands made the law, judicial banced, Supreme Court,
- 16:04Speaker 1: legislative is the Senate, and the Republic and Congress, and
- 16:08Speaker 1: now the Republicans are in a chance of controlling all
- 16:11Speaker 1: three of them. And when you control all three of them,
- 16:14Speaker 1: you can do things like Clarence Thomas to Matiity can
- 16:17Speaker 1: put in another ultra white being conservative Supreme Court justice.
- 16:22Speaker 1: So the Supreme Court justice will be flooded with people
- 16:24Speaker 1: they've personally picked. You can make any law in the country.
- 16:28Speaker 1: You have Congress and the Senate to them, push these
- 16:31Speaker 1: laws through, and then you sign them into office.
- 16:34Speaker 4: Anything.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Supreme Court justices are there for life.
- 16:38Speaker 4: Yeah, for life.
- 16:39Speaker 2: So this is talking about generational implications, not just this
- 16:44Speaker 2: four years, not just the next few years thereafter. We're
- 16:48Speaker 2: talking about my lifetime, my child's lifetime, and presumably potentially thereafter.
- 16:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:54Speaker 1: And like I had a friend of mine talk about
- 16:56Speaker 1: the whole abortion thing and they're like, well, we only
- 16:58Speaker 1: had to deal with this for four years, and I'm
- 16:59Speaker 1: just like, this is what I'm talking about. Not understanding
- 17:01Speaker 1: how the ship works, you know, like they can make
- 17:05Speaker 1: damage in these four years that will be irreparable for
- 17:08Speaker 1: forty fifty sixty years. That's just how it is. Handed
- 17:13Speaker 1: them the keys to the kingdom. So once again shit
- 17:15Speaker 1: is fucked up. Show let us say this, and executive
- 17:19Speaker 1: brands of government are perhaps all that's still not one
- 17:22Speaker 1: hundred percent determined. But you know, leaning forwards to handsome maddening.
- 17:26Speaker 1: But we as the people who have been through worse,
- 17:28Speaker 1: we as the people, will get through this. It will
- 17:30Speaker 1: not be okay. I'm not a motherfucker out here telling you, oh,
- 17:33Speaker 1: it's gonna be okay now, because a lot of people
- 17:35Speaker 1: don't take bad ones.
- 17:36Speaker 4: You know a lot of people take bad ones every day.
- 17:38Speaker 4: Niggas die every day.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Be like we say a lot on the show, shout
- 17:41Speaker 1: the killub, but it just is what it is.
- 17:43Speaker 4: And this shit is done to.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Get worse in America. It's not going to get better quickly,
- 17:49Speaker 1: you know what I mean. It's like there's no golden
- 17:52Speaker 1: thing that will save. It's like that was another thing
- 17:54Speaker 1: I was talking about today and realizing it didn't matter
- 17:57Speaker 1: if she won, you know what I mean, The whole
- 17:59Speaker 1: country was like fuck y'all. Like California was like, oh,
- 18:02Speaker 1: people in prison, make them slaves.
- 18:04Speaker 4: That works for us.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Abolished slavery, no.
- 18:10Speaker 4: Rent, non nah.
- 18:13Speaker 1: It's like the whole country is that we are right
- 18:15Speaker 1: being so even if she had one, it would have
- 18:17Speaker 1: been a bunch of people.
- 18:19Speaker 4: But you know, every little thing she did, fuck that.
- 18:22Speaker 2: They would have blocked her at every step. But we
- 18:25Speaker 2: would have potentially, and this is what the difference is, had.
- 18:33Speaker 3: M choice.
- 18:37Speaker 2: And when I say choice, I mean personal choice. You know,
- 18:42Speaker 2: you know, like I would still potentially not fear.
- 18:47Speaker 3: I would have a choice not to fear. But let's
- 18:49Speaker 3: start there. I don't have that choice.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Now I'm fear, like there's nothing but fear because I
- 18:57Speaker 2: am not the target demo. And there was something you
- 19:06Speaker 2: said when you were talking about I think you were
- 19:09Speaker 2: just talking about It was either in the tweety you
- 19:12Speaker 2: were talking about the voters themselves, like the type of
- 19:15Speaker 2: voters and what they voted for. It was something particular
- 19:19Speaker 2: you touched upon, and I wanted to mention it.
- 19:21Speaker 1: And the fact that we were talking about this before
- 19:24Speaker 1: the fact that you know, we are not going to
- 19:27Speaker 1: sit around and stapegoat black men, black women, and the
- 19:31Speaker 1: fact that it's like the oh no, this what you
- 19:33Speaker 1: wanted to touch on. And this is something that goes
- 19:35Speaker 1: back to nineteen ninety four. Shout out to big group
- 19:38Speaker 1: of Outcasts who once said on the album, if you
- 19:41Speaker 1: think Outcasts is all about pimp and holes and slamming
- 19:44Speaker 1: and cattile at dose, then you probably a cracker or
- 19:48Speaker 1: someone who thinks they're a cracker. And that's a large
- 19:53Speaker 1: fin problem out here is there's a lot of people
- 19:56Speaker 1: out here who think they crackers and white men. Sadly,
- 19:59Speaker 1: you know, it's like we can act like where this
- 20:01Speaker 1: and that in this country, but the majority of this
- 20:03Speaker 1: country is white men still. And then when you add
- 20:06Speaker 1: into people who think they white men and want to
- 20:08Speaker 1: be white men, and then the other side of the
- 20:12Speaker 1: white women who want to protect their white men and
- 20:14Speaker 1: the privilege that comes with it. I know that, Yeah,
- 20:20Speaker 1: you have a country that this is gonna happen every
- 20:22Speaker 1: fucking time. My mom rest in peace, used to tell
- 20:24Speaker 1: me this all the lot to the Benjamin, America operates
- 20:27Speaker 1: on a pendulum. You get one step forward, they gonna
- 20:29Speaker 1: take two steps back every fucking time. You know they
- 20:33Speaker 1: don't because this is America, like like, and that's what like,
- 20:36Speaker 1: That's why I wanted to read those streets. It's not
- 20:38Speaker 1: like people get it confused. It is not a democracy.
- 20:41Speaker 1: It has never been one. A democracy wouldn't have started
- 20:45Speaker 1: out with women and slaves not being able to vote.
- 20:48Speaker 1: But this ain't a democracy. This was founded so a
- 20:50Speaker 1: bunch of white men's credit stayed taxation in Britain. A
- 20:54Speaker 1: bunch of people didn't want to pay taxes, like fuck that,
- 20:56Speaker 1: we tired of that shit, said let's go to this
- 20:58Speaker 1: new country. We live in our own lives. We don't
- 21:00Speaker 1: need that king. We make our own laws, you.
- 21:04Speaker 4: Know what I mean.
- 21:04Speaker 1: And it was a bunch of white men. That's all
- 21:06Speaker 1: there is to it. And to this day, America like
- 21:08Speaker 1: it is a country that protects rich white men and
- 21:12Speaker 1: those who you know, can manage to squeeze their way
- 21:15Speaker 1: in for as long as they can.
- 21:17Speaker 4: But bru that shit don't last.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Man, be honest, like there's some shit we wanted to
- 21:24Speaker 1: talk about, like you know, I mean, we'll get into
- 21:27Speaker 1: more of this on the other episodes and stuff. I guess,
- 21:29Speaker 1: like like I'm like candy people be like like I said,
- 21:31Speaker 1: I had a long conversation with a cat today and
- 21:34Speaker 1: it really amounted to nothing. And I feel bad that
- 21:37Speaker 1: it amounted to nothing, But it just felt like there
- 21:40Speaker 1: was nothing to be reached because we just had completely
- 21:42Speaker 1: different views on things, Like they think that, you know,
- 21:45Speaker 1: masculinity should be one way and I really don't. I
- 21:48Speaker 1: think the idea of masculinity is a fucking myth and
- 21:53Speaker 1: it's something that's put upon by marketing and a bunch
- 21:56Speaker 1: of other bullshit, and I don't believe in it.
- 21:58Speaker 4: Fam.
- 21:59Speaker 1: I grew up on Prince that niggas the most masculine
- 22:01Speaker 1: nigg in the world to me. You might disagree, and
- 22:05Speaker 1: that's when would be the end of our conversation. It
- 22:09Speaker 1: doesn't matter if you're.
- 22:12Speaker 4: Going, you know, like it.
- 22:14Speaker 2: And I'm talking about going on the traditional toxic masculinity
- 22:19Speaker 2: definition of what masculine is.
- 22:22Speaker 1: How about man, Oh my god, you know, like I
- 22:25Speaker 1: wish sorry, you got me distracted it That's what I said.
- 22:32Speaker 1: I thought about Purple rain boy, Oh my god. Anyway,
- 22:36Speaker 1: like I was with my man, shout out to Isaac Goodheart.
- 22:38Speaker 1: We were at New York Comic Con together, and he
- 22:41Speaker 1: was telling me how in Houston, you know, Isaac got
- 22:43Speaker 1: all diesel now, so he goes to Alpha Land when
- 22:46Speaker 1: he's in Houston, this gym and he's like, you know,
- 22:48Speaker 1: I walk around there and they have no idea. I'm
- 22:50Speaker 1: such a door. And then so I was talking about
- 22:53Speaker 1: him on that day and I was like we were
- 22:54Speaker 1: talking and something. I was like, you know, since you're
- 22:55Speaker 1: such an alpha male, you know, you know, it's really
- 22:59Speaker 1: you know, expect your opinion on stuff.
- 23:01Speaker 4: And he's like me and alpha male.
- 23:02Speaker 1: You know, I just bought this pen that says in
- 23:04Speaker 1: my trands, you know, and it's like a pin that
- 23:06Speaker 1: you could flip from a man to woman, you know
- 23:09Speaker 1: what I mean. And I was just like, well, that's
- 23:11Speaker 1: something that an alpha male would do. Like, you know,
- 23:14Speaker 1: I just have a different viewpoint than what a lot
- 23:16Speaker 1: of men, and I don't consider you men, you know,
- 23:19Speaker 1: honestly have about what you know, the roles and nigga.
- 23:24Speaker 1: You sound stupid to me, you know, you sound childish,
- 23:27Speaker 1: like I have no time for that type of stuff.
- 23:28Speaker 4: You know what I mean.
- 23:29Speaker 1: I come from like a person who's traveled, who's done
- 23:32Speaker 1: the education, who like knows that at one point there
- 23:35Speaker 1: was five different genders that most Indigenous people recognize.
- 23:38Speaker 4: I don't have time for your une, like I don't
- 23:41Speaker 4: have nigga.
- 23:41Speaker 1: I don't give a fuck who anybody is fucking a
- 23:44Speaker 1: lot of y'all, Y real too worried about that, you
- 23:47Speaker 1: know what I mean. And so but back to the
- 23:48Speaker 1: point we were trying to be like Yo, I was
- 23:50Speaker 1: talking to man Tim Hotep about this, and he was like,
- 23:51Speaker 1: is there any way to save you know, or talk
- 23:54Speaker 1: to these people, because like that's why I had this
- 23:56Speaker 1: conversation today. But throughout the conversation I just couldn't find
- 23:59Speaker 1: a way to ever be like yo, man, like I'm sorry, fam,
- 24:03Speaker 1: but you know, Trump's a fucking racist.
- 24:04Speaker 4: Okay.
- 24:05Speaker 1: This was like one big standing point where we lost
- 24:07Speaker 1: each other. It's just like it's so weird to me.
- 24:08Speaker 1: But they called me a racist because I said, we
- 24:11Speaker 1: live in a system of toxic whiteness. We do, yeah,
- 24:16Speaker 1: and I you know, and it was just and that
- 24:19Speaker 1: was their point. And I've had you know, white people
- 24:20Speaker 1: say that to me. I've had weird people say that
- 24:22Speaker 1: to me before. And so it's like it's always just
- 24:24Speaker 1: a you know, it's a no faith argument. It's just
- 24:26Speaker 1: bad faith. It's just bullshit, basically, straight a bullshit, like nigga.
- 24:30Speaker 1: It's a system of toxic whiteness that has nothing to
- 24:32Speaker 1: do with the individual person in the world, you know,
- 24:35Speaker 1: Like I love you know people, I hate crackers, you
- 24:39Speaker 1: know what I mean, And people who think they're crackers
- 24:42Speaker 1: hate them in the story, you know, cause they want
- 24:44Speaker 1: me dead and I have no time for that. Like
- 24:48Speaker 1: you know, I will never not say that Donald Trump
- 24:51Speaker 1: is a racist, rapist, etcetera stump of the fucking earth
- 24:55Speaker 1: rift or whatever you want to call it. I don't
- 24:58Speaker 1: think that, you know, Vice President Harris is perfect. I'm
- 25:02Speaker 1: a fan of Karis one he said every president lied.
- 25:06Speaker 1: I've never disagreed.
- 25:08Speaker 2: But no, the main difference between the two is, while
- 25:18Speaker 2: you mentioned that there are things that I do not
- 25:20Speaker 2: agree with with VP Kamala Harris about and well would
- 25:26Speaker 2: would and will and would and would have had she
- 25:28Speaker 2: won the election, continue to challenge her on Palestine as
- 25:32Speaker 2: will be in one of them. The difference there is
- 25:35Speaker 2: that it was a difference of the difference there is
- 25:44Speaker 2: that sure, because I don't want to I don't want
- 25:47Speaker 2: to lump genocide into that. But my point is that.
- 25:55Speaker 3: There is a path to changing their approach with one person.
- 26:01Speaker 2: There is a path to potentially something better happening once
- 26:05Speaker 2: they're put into a place where they can actually make
- 26:09Speaker 2: something shake, because you can't do it as VP. Since
- 26:12Speaker 2: once y'all learn about the three branches of government again,
- 26:14Speaker 2: if they even allow you to learn that, because the
- 26:16Speaker 2: Department of Education is out of here. According to Project
- 26:20Speaker 2: twenty twenty five.
- 26:21Speaker 4: But most of y'all don't want to read books anyway.
- 26:24Speaker 2: But that being said, is only with one person where
- 26:27Speaker 2: I am able to challenge and defend without fear of
- 26:32Speaker 2: my life being taken from me.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Versus the other. And that is the biggest difference.
- 26:42Speaker 2: And then it's not her purbly me saying oh taketh No,
- 26:45Speaker 2: this is literal, and this is founded because Trump and
- 26:52Speaker 2: friends has said this in certain terms, completely certain, clear
- 26:59Speaker 2: and defined terms about how they feel about me, how
- 27:04Speaker 2: they feel about everyone really that is not white.
- 27:08Speaker 3: Christian man.
- 27:11Speaker 4: And really rich rich.
- 27:14Speaker 2: As well, because because if you're poor, you're you're just
- 27:16Speaker 2: a puppet. If you're if you support him and you
- 27:20Speaker 2: don't even know, and maybe you do know it, maybe
- 27:21Speaker 2: you don't care, maybe you don't realize.
- 27:23Speaker 3: I don't know. I'm I'm over. I will say this,
- 27:27Speaker 3: I'm over.
- 27:28Speaker 2: The other reason why I mentioned sort of just being
- 27:32Speaker 2: such a hateful place now is it's such a small microcosm,
- 27:38Speaker 2: like a lot of people don't realize even know something
- 27:40Speaker 2: that's popular on Twitter, or a lot of stuff.
- 27:42Speaker 3: Goes right whatever. There's millions and millions and millions and
- 27:46Speaker 3: millions of people in the US that don't hear that
- 27:47Speaker 3: shit whatsoever.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Like we I think people still have that feeling like, oh,
- 27:53Speaker 2: if it goes down on Twitter, it matters. And this
- 27:55Speaker 2: is that it does to a very small subset of
- 27:58Speaker 2: a larger, much larger population of people, right.
- 28:01Speaker 3: And.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Sometimes it does get out, sometimes it get out to
- 28:06Speaker 2: the wider populace. But one of the things that I
- 28:09Speaker 2: saw the most was talking about how dumb people were
- 28:14Speaker 2: for voting for him. And I want to make it
- 28:16Speaker 2: very clear, these people are not dumb. A vast majority
- 28:21Speaker 2: and not that. And I know saying someone is dumb
- 28:23Speaker 2: or stupid is one way to help.
- 28:26Speaker 3: It's a it's a it's a defense mechanism.
- 28:28Speaker 4: To help.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Protect yourself, to cushion yourself from the barbs of and
- 28:35Speaker 2: not that excuse me, not not NICKI barbs, but but
- 28:37Speaker 2: but but the the daggers. Right, it's it's a way,
- 28:43Speaker 2: it's a it's a mechanism that people use. But it's
- 28:46Speaker 2: not true. A great deal these people knew exactly what
- 28:51Speaker 2: they were doing.
- 28:52Speaker 3: They they were very not.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Only aware but educated on what was happening or what
- 28:58Speaker 2: could be happening, and distinctly voted for that to happen.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Yeah, like we had to. You had to accept it,
- 29:09Speaker 1: not everyone as a good person, you know. And that
- 29:13Speaker 1: in a country that was founded on slavery, you know,
- 29:16Speaker 1: as being like h I mean four hundred years of
- 29:20Speaker 1: it and then never stopping having a slave populace since
- 29:27Speaker 1: its exception, you know, reconstruction was a failure, et cetera.
- 29:32Speaker 1: After that, you know, they quickly started locking niggas up.
- 29:35Speaker 1: I mean, they had sharecroppers for a minute. That worked
- 29:37Speaker 1: great for them, you know, and then it became the
- 29:40Speaker 1: prison population and that was that. And you know that's
- 29:44Speaker 1: to this day, so America's never not had it. And
- 29:47Speaker 1: they talk about it like, you know, they talk about
- 29:49Speaker 1: how capitalism cannot exist without a slave population.
- 29:54Speaker 3: That's what like a labor force, a labor but.
- 29:56Speaker 1: No, no, no, not a liver force. Slavery and a
- 29:59Speaker 1: labor and that's something like that just always bubbed me.
- 30:02Speaker 1: And that grows back to what I said about capitalism earlier,
- 30:04Speaker 1: and how this country is founding on capitalism. Like people
- 30:07Speaker 1: blame everything in the world, you know, because they make
- 30:09Speaker 1: all these things to fear monger yourself with, oh the
- 30:11Speaker 1: migrant crisis, oh this and that, instead of just realizing
- 30:15Speaker 1: that it's always capitalism, you know what I mean, it's
- 30:17Speaker 1: capitalism that outsources every job across the world because it's
- 30:20Speaker 1: cheaper labor there.
- 30:21Speaker 4: So that's why there's no jobs here.
- 30:23Speaker 1: It's capitalism that occupies, you know, like I think it's
- 30:27Speaker 1: seventy five percent of you know, buildings that just have
- 30:32Speaker 1: no people in them. You know, there's just mad space
- 30:35Speaker 1: in America. Nobody's in the houses, houses, empty houses.
- 30:39Speaker 2: They rather be empty apartments, apartments, Yep, they'd rather be empty.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Just like if y'all remember back in the summer empty building.
- 30:46Speaker 2: I think it was this summer last summer where in
- 30:47Speaker 2: Miami they had that real Twall skyscraper residential tower that
- 30:52Speaker 2: for one reason or another just they never really either they
- 30:55Speaker 2: never finished it or they just never had nobody up
- 30:57Speaker 2: in that hole. And the taggers, the graffiti taggers like
- 31:01Speaker 2: tagged up the entire building rights as a statement.
- 31:03Speaker 4: But still yeah no, And it's just like people.
- 31:11Speaker 1: It's I saw a post about liberals today and this
- 31:14Speaker 1: is where I would really agree with them. It's like,
- 31:16Speaker 1: as long as they can have, you know, the comforts,
- 31:19Speaker 1: they don't mind who suffers. And when you start pulling
- 31:23Speaker 1: on their purse screens.
- 31:24Speaker 4: They will kill anyone below them to stay up.
- 31:28Speaker 1: And that's something that you know people that goes back
- 31:30Speaker 1: to slavery again, as most things in this country. There
- 31:33Speaker 1: because there are a lot of reasons why white men were
- 31:35Speaker 1: given certain things like days off and that because they
- 31:38Speaker 1: couldn't be treated like the slaves work, you know, because
- 31:41Speaker 1: you couldn't make them feel like a slave, otherwise they
- 31:43Speaker 1: would revolt. So they needed a little something to feel
- 31:46Speaker 1: better than the slaves. And that just droves on to
- 31:48Speaker 1: those days you know, if you have a man who
- 31:50Speaker 1: you take And that's like I was going back to
- 31:52Speaker 1: talk about, you know, how do we reach because a
- 31:54Speaker 1: large part of NERD population is in this you know,
- 31:58Speaker 1: weird space of feeling ignored, feeling powerless, feeling like the
- 32:03Speaker 1: things they love are being taken away from them, even
- 32:07Speaker 1: when it's a minuscule part of the things they love.
- 32:09Speaker 1: And it's just really opening up to more people who
- 32:12Speaker 1: love it, but you know, it's their things, so they
- 32:14Speaker 1: feel taken away from them. So it's like we're trying
- 32:17Speaker 1: to figure out, or I am personally, how to you know,
- 32:20Speaker 1: if there is any possibility.
- 32:21Speaker 4: Reaching these people. Like I said, I had a long.
- 32:23Speaker 1: I mean, there is that, but I'm not going to
- 32:25Speaker 1: get them into therapy other than being like, yo, therapy
- 32:28Speaker 1: is good. Please y'all. You know, go to therapy. I've
- 32:30Speaker 1: done it myself. Don't be scared of it. It's a
- 32:32Speaker 1: great thing. It helps, you know what I mean. I
- 32:36Speaker 1: might check back in, you know, soon, because lord at Mercy.
- 32:40Speaker 1: But you know, I don't know what else to do, because,
- 32:42Speaker 1: like I said, when I had this conversation with this
- 32:43Speaker 1: person today, it just turned into a lot of them
- 32:45Speaker 1: yelling and you know, accusing, And I would just have
- 32:49Speaker 1: the wh just saying you're right about everything, fan, because
- 32:51Speaker 1: I'm not going to sit there and argue with you.
- 32:53Speaker 4: You know, I don't. I don't care, like I really don't.
- 32:56Speaker 1: I don't I feel like you said, I don't feel
- 32:59Speaker 1: like people are stupid. I do feel like people are uneducated.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Like if you ever can say with a straight face
- 33:05Speaker 1: that America is not a system of patriarchal, toxic whiteness
- 33:10Speaker 1: made into a country founded by capitalism and has nothing
- 33:15Speaker 1: to do with democracy.
- 33:16Speaker 4: Then you are just fully ignorant of the history of
- 33:21Speaker 4: this country. You know. It's like at Tamakan, I got
- 33:24Speaker 4: into a discression. It was very quick.
- 33:26Speaker 1: I told Tatana about this with a woman who, you know,
- 33:30Speaker 1: was like, I'm a you know, she knew the entire history.
- 33:33Speaker 1: She was a student of Israel, you know. She was like,
- 33:35Speaker 1: Israel up and down. I know everything about it, and
- 33:37Speaker 1: I know everything about every comic book character who's Jewish.
- 33:39Speaker 1: And I was like, you're not the only one who
- 33:41Speaker 1: knows the history of Israel. And that pretty much ended
- 33:44Speaker 1: our conversation, because if you know the history of something,
- 33:48Speaker 1: that's very hard to dispute it, you know. And it's like,
- 33:52Speaker 1: it's very hard to dispute that America was built by
- 33:54Speaker 1: white men for a white men. That's just all this
- 33:56Speaker 1: and will do anything in its power to keep it
- 33:58Speaker 1: that way. It's very hard to dispute these things when
- 34:02Speaker 1: you look at history and when you learn the history.
- 34:04Speaker 1: I recommended to this person, and I recommended to everyone's book.
- 34:07Speaker 1: I couldn't even finish the first page. Made me so
- 34:10Speaker 1: sickened with it that it just distrusted me. And I
- 34:12Speaker 1: got through the first hundred and it was, you know,
- 34:14Speaker 1: just ridiculous. A people's history of the United States of America.
- 34:20Speaker 1: It will fuck you up. The opening pages Christopher Columbus's
- 34:23Speaker 1: initial letter back to the Queen of Spain or Italy, Portugal,
- 34:29Speaker 1: whatever fuck is racist assws from because in this letter,
- 34:33Speaker 1: this fucker writes, Hey, Queen, guess what. I just came
- 34:37Speaker 1: upon this island the most beautiful brown people you'll ever
- 34:42Speaker 1: see in the world. I've never seen people who look
- 34:45Speaker 1: like this just walked up to me. They're like, yo,
- 34:47Speaker 1: who are you? And all this shit. I pulled out
- 34:49Speaker 1: my sword and they don't know what it is. They're
- 34:52Speaker 1: just touching it and stuff.
- 34:53Speaker 4: Queen. They're just enchanted by anything I showed them. They
- 34:58Speaker 4: don't know what.
- 34:58Speaker 1: They're so giving, their so loving, your queen, send me
- 35:01Speaker 1: one hundred people and I'll slaughter this whole island. That
- 35:06Speaker 1: was That's you know, that's how it starts, and it
- 35:09Speaker 1: just goes on from there. And so like, I, you know,
- 35:12Speaker 1: I don't have time for people who say you're racist
- 35:15Speaker 1: when you call out a toxic white system. And I'll
- 35:19Speaker 1: be honest, I feel like we I know, I feel
- 35:22Speaker 1: like personally I've not said enough. As much as I
- 35:25Speaker 1: say this shit all the time on the show, I
- 35:27Speaker 1: know I do, I just don't feel like I've said
- 35:29Speaker 1: it enough on social media wherever I'm the fuck, you
- 35:32Speaker 1: know what I mean, And I'm just tired now it's over,
- 35:35Speaker 1: Like I'm saying it every day, And like I said,
- 35:38Speaker 1: it's a lot of weak men out there and y'all
- 35:42Speaker 1: can do better, you know what I mean. I'm talking
- 35:44Speaker 1: to you as a man, like I'm talking to you
- 35:45Speaker 1: as a person who like used to be one of
- 35:48Speaker 1: these cats, like if not for the grace of God,
- 35:50Speaker 1: I would have gone down that intell path, you know
- 35:52Speaker 1: what I mean. And it's like Sam, just like like
- 36:01Speaker 1: you said, I don't know, maybe therapy. I don't know
- 36:03Speaker 1: what to tell them because I can't.
- 36:06Speaker 3: I can't help you and I'm not so like and
- 36:11Speaker 3: I'm not from.
- 36:12Speaker 2: An education and patient standpoint, I'm not qualified to help
- 36:17Speaker 2: those and quite frankly, I don't give a fuck to
- 36:19Speaker 2: help anybody, and I will not be helping anyone.
- 36:23Speaker 3: Don't ask me for shit.
- 36:24Speaker 2: And I mean that with the fullest extent of my
- 36:28Speaker 2: breath and being in this moment. There is a level
- 36:33Speaker 2: and there's there's two things on this point I'm about
- 36:35Speaker 2: to make. There's a level of evil that permeates from
- 36:41Speaker 2: the core of white toxicity slash supremacy that has always
- 36:47Speaker 2: been and has only had agents to continue to inject
- 36:57Speaker 2: that into society.
- 36:59Speaker 3: I mean, really truly poison people across the board.
- 37:06Speaker 2: You know when they say, oh, people voting against their
- 37:08Speaker 2: self interest, and they're not voting againt their own self interest,
- 37:11Speaker 2: they're voting for what they perceived to be as their interests.
- 37:14Speaker 2: You said it earlier about people thinking that they're right,
- 37:18Speaker 2: and remember a long time ago, that was just when
- 37:21Speaker 2: that was created, that aspect of whiteness that was created.
- 37:24Speaker 2: That's a construct, and it's a construct much much like money.
- 37:29Speaker 2: It's a construct that's backed by a system.
- 37:31Speaker 4: And that's the only reason why it works.
- 37:35Speaker 2: The only reason why cash money works because it's backed
- 37:38Speaker 2: by something, right, system of perceived value.
- 37:41Speaker 4: Right.
- 37:41Speaker 2: We say it's backed by gold, but it's also perceived value, right,
- 37:44Speaker 2: because if we had to perceived value in buttons, now
- 37:50Speaker 2: one of us would have buttons on half our ship
- 37:52Speaker 2: right now, right, it would be all hoarded somewhere in
- 37:56Speaker 2: fort button knocks, and here we are. I use I
- 38:00Speaker 2: use humor to get myself through this thing, but I
- 38:03Speaker 2: also think it's it's helpful. It helps y'all as the
- 38:06Speaker 2: people listening and watching us understand what we're.
- 38:09Speaker 4: Saying money is you know, it's worthless.
- 38:14Speaker 2: In addition, the second point I wanted to make, and
- 38:16Speaker 2: it's something that I had advised you when you had
- 38:19Speaker 2: mentioned that you wanted to talk to this particular individual,
- 38:22Speaker 2: and I said, I just asked what iut whatout even
- 38:25Speaker 2: any type of uh what's the word? No question mark,
- 38:30Speaker 2: no nothing, It was just it was just words. I
- 38:32Speaker 2: just said, why what do you hope to achieve? And
- 38:37Speaker 2: that's usually the question I asked in my work life
- 38:39Speaker 2: and in my life when they said, well I'm trying
- 38:41Speaker 2: to do X, Y Z and abc, Why what do
- 38:45Speaker 2: you what is your ultimate goal? And understandably Ben wants
- 38:50Speaker 2: to want to his voice heard he wanted to talk
- 38:52Speaker 2: to this person.
- 38:52Speaker 3: You want to say, is this nigga crazy?
- 38:54Speaker 2: Is like like it's so many fucking questions that he's
- 38:57Speaker 2: trying to answer.
- 38:59Speaker 3: Isnigga truly crazy? Yes, niggas is crazy?
- 39:01Speaker 4: It is this nigga truly is on the internet? Or crazy? Right?
- 39:08Speaker 3: Or does he do this for money?
- 39:10Speaker 2: Honestly both is one and the same, all of them,
- 39:13Speaker 2: all of the above, one of the same as this way,
- 39:16Speaker 2: And I advised him not to have a conversation and
- 39:18Speaker 2: we even talked about well and like I said, I'm
- 39:20Speaker 2: being full transparency everybody. We even talked about having them
- 39:22Speaker 2: on the show to okay, and then so I said,
- 39:27Speaker 2: I said to Ben, uh, why would we platform that
- 39:31Speaker 2: mm And he thought about it. He was like, damn,
- 39:36Speaker 2: that's real.
- 39:38Speaker 3: We talked that's real, and you know, we move on
- 39:39Speaker 3: to the next topic. But I do.
- 39:47Speaker 2: Not like perpetuating the systems in place for how supremacy toxicity.
- 39:55Speaker 2: All of these negative systems have been upheld and continue
- 40:00Speaker 2: lee disseminated and served to everybody in the population. So
- 40:07Speaker 2: for example, watching most media places, when they say, oh,
- 40:11Speaker 2: we're going to have someone on this side of the equation,
- 40:13Speaker 2: of this side of the debate, and someone on this
- 40:15Speaker 2: side of debate, we're having to talk about it. The
- 40:17Speaker 2: debate is not if I like pineapple on my piece
- 40:20Speaker 2: of versus I don't it be debates about my life.
- 40:25Speaker 2: It be debates about whether a law can be put
- 40:30Speaker 2: into place or taken away that protects or you know,
- 40:34Speaker 2: or destroys my right to an abortion and you know,
- 40:39Speaker 2: my care, my well being in life, and to me
- 40:44Speaker 2: to be to to purposefully platform someone who is distinctly
- 40:50Speaker 2: for your oppression. When I say, you know, we, I'm
- 40:53Speaker 2: talking about everybody, because everybody got points of oppression when
- 40:56Speaker 2: you platform that.
- 40:58Speaker 3: I there is.
- 41:00Speaker 2: There's nothing you're doing but amplifying that message. And I
- 41:03Speaker 2: thought about this for a long time. This is not
- 41:05Speaker 2: the first time this has come up. It's just obviously
- 41:08Speaker 2: more pointed because of where we are right now.
- 41:10Speaker 3: I really really really thought about this long and hard
- 41:13Speaker 3: and all you know the things people say, oh well,
- 41:15Speaker 3: you got to hear both sides and oh m hm
- 41:21Speaker 3: m m no.
- 41:23Speaker 2: And this is something that literally before you hit play,
- 41:27Speaker 2: I wrote real quick on my phone and I wanted
- 41:29Speaker 2: to say this.
- 41:31Speaker 3: And say this to you, Ben, but also for everyone listening.
- 41:35Speaker 2: There's nothing you can say to appeal to the morals
- 41:38Speaker 2: of someone dedicated to upholding white toxicity. White toxicity is
- 41:43Speaker 2: moral less in the ways that exists simply to uphold
- 41:46Speaker 2: a place of power through acts of self preservation at
- 41:50Speaker 2: the extreme detriment of anyone, and I do mean anyone
- 41:54Speaker 2: that does not fit the mold that they make, even
- 41:57Speaker 2: those that try their damness to shape their soul and
- 41:59Speaker 2: by to fit this mold or cast aside as quickly
- 42:02Speaker 2: as they are used to advance the movement of white supremacy.
- 42:06Speaker 2: If you support a Donald Trump and you are not
- 42:08Speaker 2: a white Christian male American, and as Benaman pointed out
- 42:11Speaker 2: earlier rich, you will be cast aside.
- 42:15Speaker 4: Yeah you will.
- 42:19Speaker 2: You will be forgotten, you will be portrayed, you will
- 42:22Speaker 2: be disrespected, you will be disenfranchised. You will lose money,
- 42:27Speaker 2: you will lose your standing or perceive standing in society.
- 42:30Speaker 3: You will be threatened, and you will be made to suffer.
- 42:36Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, Like Todd Downa said, we distressed this, you know.
- 42:42Speaker 1: And then the thing is, I had this talk with
- 42:44Speaker 1: this person and I basically like you call me because
- 42:47Speaker 1: I'm tired of you know, you DM and me going
- 42:50Speaker 1: back and forth about shit. I just want to talk
- 42:52Speaker 1: to you fam, you know, because I've wanted this for
- 42:54Speaker 1: a minute. But you know, like you said, it's turned
- 42:57Speaker 1: it over because they basically showed up in my DMS
- 42:59Speaker 1: last night glow and shit, and I was just like,
- 43:01Speaker 1: you know, I'm mad that I talked about weak men,
- 43:04Speaker 1: you know me. You know, how do you think we're
- 43:06Speaker 1: ever gonna reach you? Quiz and understand you call us
- 43:09Speaker 1: weak shoe fits?
- 43:11Speaker 4: You know what I mean?
- 43:12Speaker 1: Sorry, bro, I ain't got time like to DOWNA said,
- 43:14Speaker 1: you know, I really don't. I've never had time, you know,
- 43:17Speaker 1: but now I really don't because none of us do.
- 43:22Speaker 4: So back to the point, like.
- 43:26Speaker 1: I did want to try and reach out because maybe
- 43:29Speaker 1: not with this person. That's what this person doesn't saying.
- 43:31Speaker 1: There's a lot of people who agree with him, you know,
- 43:34Speaker 1: and so because of that, I'm trying to reach some
- 43:37Speaker 1: of them. I'm not sure if this person can be
- 43:39Speaker 1: you know, this person I feel I definitely needs therapy
- 43:41Speaker 1: and education.
- 43:42Speaker 4: I'm sorry.
- 43:42Speaker 1: You know, they're gonna be mad when they heaters. They
- 43:44Speaker 1: can say all the times, shit whatever, you know. But
- 43:48Speaker 1: back to the point, like, yeah, I think that, like
- 43:51Speaker 1: because like I say, there are a lot of nerds
- 43:53Speaker 1: and I'm sure there are some of them who listen
- 43:55Speaker 1: to us, and it's like they might feel this way,
- 43:58Speaker 1: but there's got to be you know, man, yo, Like
- 44:02Speaker 1: come on, man, just like think about.
- 44:04Speaker 4: It for a second.
- 44:06Speaker 2: Well, I've talked to you also, and something to share again,
- 44:09Speaker 2: I talk to you about like when we asked each
- 44:11Speaker 2: other that question what do you do?
- 44:13Speaker 4: What do you do?
- 44:14Speaker 2: And I said, well, I ain't doing shit right, but
- 44:16Speaker 2: but what I am doing when I say I do
- 44:17Speaker 2: a shit, meaning I'm not throwing myself in front of
- 44:20Speaker 2: the bus for nobody.
- 44:21Speaker 3: I'm not. I'm not doing it not anymore.
- 44:23Speaker 2: I'm not going against my preservation because I'm trying to
- 44:28Speaker 2: save every other person I'm done. What I will do, though,
- 44:33Speaker 2: is I will be just as loud as the ones
- 44:36Speaker 2: that are being negative, oppressive and all this other stuff, because.
- 44:40Speaker 3: To me, that is the only recourse at this point, Like.
- 44:46Speaker 2: All that oh Olive brands kumbaya shit, I've personally never
- 44:52Speaker 2: been a fan of, probably why I enjoy Villain so much.
- 44:57Speaker 3: Shout out to Lex Luthor.
- 44:59Speaker 2: But I nah, like I'm gonna I'm going to I'm
- 45:07Speaker 2: I'm gonna be in the Villain era because it's just like,
- 45:10Speaker 2: at this point, it's incumbent upon me to be as
- 45:15Speaker 2: direct and forceful and specific as possible as we speak,
- 45:23Speaker 2: and be as ubiquitous and continuous as we can to
- 45:27Speaker 2: try to get people to understand our point of view.
- 45:31Speaker 2: And if you decide, hey, this does make sense, Hey,
- 45:36Speaker 2: you know what, I do want to hear more be
- 45:40Speaker 2: my guest, and and that's the most I can hope for.
- 45:43Speaker 2: I'm not going to handhold anybody. I'm not going to
- 45:46Speaker 2: beg anybody to listen to me, because these niggas don't.
- 45:50Speaker 3: These niggas say the most.
- 45:51Speaker 2: Outrageous fuck shit ever designed, and people eat that up.
- 46:00Speaker 3: And they're not forcing nobody. They jumping on.
- 46:03Speaker 2: Twitch streams and talking out to the fucking ether and
- 46:07Speaker 2: people is eating it up. And yes, there are particular reasons,
- 46:10Speaker 2: as we mentioned before, why they're eating up. Because these
- 46:13Speaker 2: messages appeal to the people who are in the quote
- 46:16Speaker 2: loser space. They feel let down, betrayed, that they don't
- 46:22Speaker 2: have what they want or need for whatever the reason
- 46:25Speaker 2: may be in terms of including being lied to in
- 46:28Speaker 2: the first place, right, And also a lot of it
- 46:30Speaker 2: comes with upbringing. It comes with who the people.
- 46:34Speaker 3: That are around them.
- 46:35Speaker 2: There's so many questions now that's out now about why
- 46:38Speaker 2: so many young people they say, oh, gen Z was
- 46:40Speaker 2: supposed to be to save it?
- 46:41Speaker 3: What happened? They thought about? Why to so many young
- 46:43Speaker 3: people vote this way?
- 46:45Speaker 4: Oh no, this person. I'm talking to people who.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Has been raised who what kind of ideology have they
- 46:50Speaker 2: been fed? And if they have not been fed, what
- 46:54Speaker 2: kind of sit you? What kind of things have they
- 46:56Speaker 2: been When I say fed, I mean from your family.
- 46:59Speaker 2: But if that was and that then what kind of
- 47:00Speaker 2: thing are being fed to them online right on social media?
- 47:06Speaker 2: Like what like like what kind of radicalization is happening
- 47:10Speaker 2: all around them and shaping you continuously? As they say,
- 47:15Speaker 2: you don't really start like your mind's not fully formed
- 47:19Speaker 2: until you're like twenty five.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Yep, I'm going to read this tweet. I reposted this
- 47:28Speaker 1: Instagram post. I reposted I never want to hear how
- 47:31Speaker 1: rape allegations ruin a man's life because Donald Trump got
- 47:33Speaker 1: re elected. I never ever want to hear about a
- 47:36Speaker 1: woman's lack of credentials or plans. That Donald Trump was
- 47:39Speaker 1: incapable of coherently explaining any plan to became president due
- 47:43Speaker 1: to fear mongering. This is from Dope Queen Feeds pH
- 47:48Speaker 1: ee Bs on Instagram, and they also said I never
- 47:53Speaker 1: ever want to hear folks at like women and people
- 47:55Speaker 1: of color are overstating how much the world hates them
- 47:58Speaker 1: because Donald Trump is moving back into the White House.
- 48:00Speaker 1: I never want to hear how women are too emotional
- 48:03Speaker 1: lead because Donald because Trump and JD. Vance are petulant
- 48:07Speaker 1: children don't possess a drop of empathy, and they are
- 48:11Speaker 1: president and Vice president. Shout out to Dope Clean Febs
- 48:15Speaker 1: for that that thought. That was just beautifully said and
- 48:20Speaker 1: a thousand percent agreed, like like you said, and like
- 48:24Speaker 1: we've been saying throughout this episode. You know, I'm not
- 48:28Speaker 1: I'm not for that shit. The only thing I am
- 48:30Speaker 1: for is definitely I'm speaking my mind a lot more
- 48:32Speaker 1: than I ever did before. And yeah, I'm done.
- 48:38Speaker 4: Man. It was you know, it was eye opening.
- 48:41Speaker 1: I'm not a person who's ever you know, not known
- 48:44Speaker 1: what America was about, you know, like it's just interesting
- 48:48Speaker 1: to me. And like you said, I think it has
- 48:50Speaker 1: to do with when people are raised. Like I've talked
- 48:53Speaker 1: about this before, Like I was raised on Prince, Michael Jackson,
- 48:56Speaker 1: Rick James, you know what I mean, et cetera. A
- 48:58Speaker 1: lot of you know, you know, whatever you know to
- 49:02Speaker 1: today's world. You know, boy George the Setter was popping,
- 49:06Speaker 1: Madonna was doing all kind of weird shit. Everything was weird,
- 49:08Speaker 1: you know when it was coming up, and then it
- 49:10Speaker 1: was like beyond that. I grew up on fight the Power.
- 49:14Speaker 1: You know, I grew up on Black Cop. You know,
- 49:17Speaker 1: I grew up on Fuck the Police. You know, I
- 49:20Speaker 1: grew up as the sons, I mean, the son of
- 49:24Speaker 1: you know, parents who participated in the civil rights moment.
- 49:27Speaker 4: You know, who have you know done work? You know
- 49:31Speaker 4: what I mean. I ain't gonta talk. You can google
- 49:33Speaker 4: my parents, you know what I mean. It's work.
- 49:34Speaker 1: So it's like I grew up on some like and
- 49:37Speaker 1: then that's the other side that I wanted to say.
- 49:39Speaker 1: I grew up on people like Storm you know, Sigourney Weaver,
- 49:43Speaker 1: you know, and aliens, you know, Linda Hamilton in Terminator.
- 49:47Speaker 1: So I never didn't understand the idea of a strong woman,
- 49:51Speaker 1: you know.
- 49:51Speaker 4: I always thought I was fucking dope. You know.
- 49:53Speaker 1: I always thought they should have actra movies with dope
- 49:56Speaker 1: bass women in them, because that's what I grew up on.
- 49:58Speaker 4: I didn't think it was weird. And there's a shift obviously,
- 50:01Speaker 4: you know.
- 50:01Speaker 1: So a lot of times that didn't happen, Like for
- 50:03Speaker 1: most of the nineties, there were no like women led
- 50:05Speaker 1: action films like that, like tomb Raiders the two thousands, right, like,
- 50:09Speaker 1: you know, it takes till that comes back around, you know.
- 50:11Speaker 4: So it's a lot of people who don't grow up
- 50:13Speaker 4: with this shit. And so and beyond.
- 50:15Speaker 1: That, with the lack of education, with the lack of
- 50:18Speaker 1: education about history and about knowing how things affect things
- 50:21Speaker 1: in the present day.
- 50:23Speaker 4: This is what we're left with. And it's like, yeah,
- 50:27Speaker 4: it's bad man.
- 50:28Speaker 2: And the fact is most, not all, the most Black
- 50:32Speaker 2: Americans are you know, we're in the unique position that
- 50:36Speaker 2: within this country we went and continue to go through
- 50:42Speaker 2: this shit.
- 50:43Speaker 3: So we continue to.
- 50:46Speaker 2: Be taught and raised and warned in a particular way.
- 50:54Speaker 2: And I want to be very and I want to
- 50:56Speaker 2: be very clear when I say this because some people
- 50:58Speaker 2: was like a lot of people, because they will misunderstand
- 51:01Speaker 2: interpret what I'm saying.
- 51:02Speaker 3: They saying, well, are you you know what about my people?
- 51:04Speaker 3: My people went thro stuff. My people went through impression.
- 51:06Speaker 3: I'm not. That's something I'm talking about.
- 51:10Speaker 2: I'm you can you can also add in in terms
- 51:13Speaker 2: of in terms of black people, also add in indigenous
- 51:18Speaker 2: that's it.
- 51:19Speaker 3: That's it in terms of in America.
- 51:22Speaker 4: And we can talk about everything like the Japanese after
- 51:25Speaker 4: World War.
- 51:25Speaker 3: Two, all of that, everything I'm talking about, it.
- 51:29Speaker 1: Went through hell and places. All of that matters because
- 51:32Speaker 1: you know, white people hate everyone.
- 51:33Speaker 3: All that matters.
- 51:36Speaker 4: People. Sorry, but with the exception white people.
- 51:38Speaker 2: Hate, but generally speaking with as I've seen, with the
- 51:42Speaker 2: exception of white people indigenous peoples others have found paths
- 51:46Speaker 2: to approximation to whiteness.
- 51:49Speaker 4: Learn he do it.
- 51:51Speaker 3: And having that pathway, you start pattern matching, right.
- 52:00Speaker 2: You start doing things and saying things and trying to
- 52:04Speaker 2: be the things that will continuelessly get you closer to
- 52:09Speaker 2: that level of privilege. And we, like I said, I'm
- 52:16Speaker 2: a millennial, your gen Z, excuse me, your your gen X,
- 52:20Speaker 2: and then you have gen Z and then you know
- 52:22Speaker 2: the alpha generan and everybody else coming up. I will
- 52:25Speaker 2: be teaching my children the same fucking lessons my mother
- 52:30Speaker 2: taught me. Your parents and you're the generation before me,
- 52:35Speaker 2: your parents taught you the same fucking lessons that my
- 52:38Speaker 2: mom taught me, that has taught me, And I'm not
- 52:40Speaker 2: gonna teach my children whatever generation that that that person.
- 52:43Speaker 3: Will be and.
- 52:46Speaker 2: Beyond before us, those lessons will continue to be told.
- 52:49Speaker 2: Which is why you see things like ninety one percent
- 52:53Speaker 2: of black women and another vast majority of black men
- 52:58Speaker 2: voting for Kamala Yeah, and then everyone else do whatever
- 53:03Speaker 2: the fuck everybody else When you look at these exit polls,
- 53:08Speaker 2: man out there, but the way, well the way, I
- 53:11Speaker 2: am not.
- 53:11Speaker 1: Exaggerating, I mean black people showed up. I saw best
- 53:15Speaker 1: like they were like black people showed up playing five quarters.
- 53:18Speaker 1: You know, we went into overtime and the defense was
- 53:21Speaker 1: just like, nah, were good, y'all got it.
- 53:24Speaker 4: I got it better more points than I don't.
- 53:28Speaker 2: I mean, in my head, if you didn't vote, you
- 53:31Speaker 2: can't say ship. But I'm also not going to use
- 53:33Speaker 2: you as a scapegoat, especially if you black.
- 53:35Speaker 4: I'm just like, no, you.
- 53:37Speaker 3: Know, because I didn't have a numbers problem.
- 53:40Speaker 1: Yeah no, And like I said, people like like I
- 53:43Speaker 1: saw one video and I saw quest Love repeating it,
- 53:46Speaker 1: you know, reposting it. I don't trust nobody's rich man,
- 53:51Speaker 1: you know what I mean.
- 53:51Speaker 4: That's another thing talk about it.
- 53:56Speaker 1: You know, y'all got to prove y'allselves to me, you
- 53:58Speaker 1: know what I mean, Like, let's say seven figures above, you.
- 54:01Speaker 4: Know, a millionaire and above. You gotta prove yourself.
- 54:03Speaker 1: Anyway, back to the boy, they've made this post where
- 54:05Speaker 1: this dude was like this is a turnail problem because
- 54:07Speaker 1: the Democrats didn't get a new numbers nigga, you don't
- 54:12Speaker 1: how many white people that are in this country. Okay,
- 54:14Speaker 1: we're done there, Yes, I mean, well, like like no, okay,
- 54:21Speaker 1: And that's the thing the Democrats didn't get enough people out,
- 54:23Speaker 1: and that goes back to this idea like they any
- 54:25Speaker 1: different than the Republicans, Like the white people are gonna
- 54:28Speaker 1: vote for the Republican nigga because that nigga was promising heaven.
- 54:31Speaker 2: That's also something that I'm just have a general concern
- 54:35Speaker 2: about and don't believe because you can't have a record
- 54:37Speaker 2: turnout and be missing.
- 54:40Speaker 4: I mean there's also that there's all.
- 54:42Speaker 2: Sorts of foreign and domestic interference. We can go on
- 54:45Speaker 2: and on about this.
- 54:46Speaker 1: I mean, you know, google the I just found out
- 54:49Speaker 1: about to say it's the Russia Project.
- 54:52Speaker 4: Google that shit.
- 54:53Speaker 1: You know, it's quite interesting what Pewton, you know, his
- 54:55Speaker 1: plans were and what he has stated, you know, publicly
- 55:00Speaker 1: and basically said that, you know, we ain't never gonna
- 55:01Speaker 1: fire a shot, but America is our nigga.
- 55:05Speaker 4: You know.
- 55:07Speaker 3: Yeah, all of that.
- 55:07Speaker 2: And I'm saying, oh, that's that's something. Damn it, you
- 55:10Speaker 2: had said it just about Damn I lost it. You
- 55:14Speaker 2: had something particularly you said, I want to address it,
- 55:16Speaker 2: but please continue. I'll get to it. I'm sure pop up.
- 55:22Speaker 2: But if I don't know if you were done or you.
- 55:24Speaker 1: About let's say about I was talking about the voter
- 55:27Speaker 1: turnout and there wasn't enough turnout mm.
- 55:30Speaker 3: Hmmm, And no, it was something don't worry about it.
- 55:34Speaker 2: Don't worry about it, don't worry about Well, if it's
- 55:37Speaker 2: meant to come back.
- 55:38Speaker 3: It will, okay.
- 55:39Speaker 1: Well, one thing I do want to talk about we
- 55:41Speaker 1: have not we talked about a lot, is like a
- 55:44Speaker 1: way forward, right because like I said before, like we
- 55:47Speaker 1: are fucked. You know, it's a very fun that position
- 55:49Speaker 1: to be in. Right now, I'm knock anat to nobody
- 55:51Speaker 1: out there. But at the same time, you know, I
- 55:53Speaker 1: was talking to Genesia of Tea with Queen and Jay
- 55:58Speaker 1: today and yes, what my sister loves it sounding more.
- 56:02Speaker 3: Like Genie's podcast actually right.
- 56:04Speaker 1: Now for real facts, Yeah, we ain't said much of
- 56:07Speaker 1: nerdsure other than fuck some of them. That to the
- 56:13Speaker 1: point we were talking about this today and you know,
- 56:17Speaker 1: everything that's going on, and she was like, yo, we
- 56:19Speaker 1: were want slaves in this country. And that's something that
- 56:21Speaker 1: I always talk about, like ILL talked about my mom.
- 56:23Speaker 1: You know, like I said, depending of America. You know,
- 56:26Speaker 1: you take one step forward, they are going to take
- 56:28Speaker 1: two steps back. That's just what it is. And like
- 56:30Speaker 1: you were talking about earlier, like how you know, people,
- 56:35Speaker 1: it's like we lived short lives. The American system is
- 56:41Speaker 1: over four hundred plus years old. I mean, people were
- 56:44Speaker 1: in slavery for four hundred plus of the years, and
- 56:47Speaker 1: then there was two hundred years after that. So America's
- 56:49Speaker 1: been doing this shit for a good minute, you know
- 56:52Speaker 1: what I mean, kicking it, you know.
- 56:54Speaker 2: And then and the rights that that black people secured
- 56:57Speaker 2: that are enjoyed by everyone else been have only been
- 57:02Speaker 2: for a very short period of time as well.
- 57:04Speaker 1: Maybe like the weekend, you know, I mean not the
- 57:06Speaker 1: singer I'm talking about, like that your concept of a
- 57:09Speaker 1: weekend is a new thing. I saw someone else say
- 57:11Speaker 1: this there, like all the ideas that we take for
- 57:13Speaker 1: granted as modern, you know, like the things of modern
- 57:15Speaker 1: life are just fucking marketing tools that have come up
- 57:20Speaker 1: in the last fifty years, you know, while like all
- 57:22Speaker 1: the things we don't consider that are like the real
- 57:25Speaker 1: things that we've lived with forever, you know what I mean.
- 57:27Speaker 1: But that's like like the weekend, everything we think of
- 57:31Speaker 1: is not like it's not some old ass shit. It's
- 57:35Speaker 1: not been around forever, Like you said, the right to vote,
- 57:38Speaker 1: you know, has just been given to everyone in the
- 57:40Speaker 1: last less than one hundred years, less than fifty years.
- 57:44Speaker 1: I might always tell people my parents were born you know,
- 57:48Speaker 1: my parents were older, but they were born without the
- 57:50Speaker 1: right to vote, you know what I mean, Like, that's
- 57:55Speaker 1: right there.
- 57:56Speaker 4: My parents.
- 57:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:58Speaker 2: And the reason why we're saying this, even if y'all
- 58:01Speaker 2: heard this before is is, like I think it, it
- 58:04Speaker 2: materializes when you can see and understand and recognize people
- 58:10Speaker 2: that are real, like we're not.
- 58:12Speaker 3: It's not just an asterisk and a testbook saying this.
- 58:15Speaker 2: Ben I, me and I are real, flesh and blood
- 58:17Speaker 2: and are telling you out of our mouths, you know,
- 58:20Speaker 2: as Black Americans.
- 58:23Speaker 1: And on that note, like like I said, because we've
- 58:25Speaker 1: been through so much as Black Americans, I know that
- 58:28Speaker 1: we can get through this. I do not believe it
- 58:30Speaker 1: a big head. Like I've talked about before. And one
- 58:32Speaker 1: thing that we will be doing on Fall Nerds is
- 58:35Speaker 1: sharing more information, sharing ways that you can you know,
- 58:38Speaker 1: fight back, the ways that you can resist, the ways
- 58:41Speaker 1: that you can Yeah, protection, I mean mental health, you know,
- 58:46Speaker 1: Like that's something we talk about a lot, like we
- 58:48Speaker 1: talked about here, and that's why we did this show
- 58:50Speaker 1: today because we want people to know, you know, we
- 58:51Speaker 1: hear for y'all, just like y'all here for us. You know,
- 58:54Speaker 1: everyone listening y'all uphold us, just like we uphold y'all.
- 58:57Speaker 1: And we just really wanted to thank y'all. And you know,
- 58:59Speaker 1: I wanted to people hear a voice that I know
- 59:01Speaker 1: that some of y'all find comforting, which is, you know,
- 59:03Speaker 1: in itself weird to me, but thank you.
- 59:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:06Speaker 2: And I also want to point out to people as
- 59:10Speaker 2: the resident feeling but also as a resident you know,
- 59:14Speaker 2: you know, proponent for just healthy expression of your energy.
- 59:21Speaker 2: It is okay to be angry, and it is okay
- 59:24Speaker 2: to hold that anger and then utilize I want you
- 59:27Speaker 2: to utilize the anger into action, but it is perfectly
- 59:31Speaker 2: fine to be angry and not want to fuck with nobody.
- 59:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 59:35Speaker 3: Anyone who's like, oh, you should be the bigger person, no.
- 59:38Speaker 1: No, fuck y'all. I ain't never been that person. And
- 59:40Speaker 1: that was one of my biggest problems growing up in
- 59:42Speaker 1: the church. Man, when they were like Jesus turned the
- 59:43Speaker 1: other cheek, I was like, that ain't gonna be me.
- 59:45Speaker 1: Fam I'm gonna slap the shit out a nigga.
- 59:47Speaker 3: You know, I'm tables. I told you I'm on that.
- 59:50Speaker 1: I'm on that Jesus level. When they told me Jesus
- 59:53Speaker 1: flip tables, I was like, word up, I'm.
- 59:54Speaker 3: Down with everybody stood up? Oh about that action?
- 59:58Speaker 4: Yeah, I can fuck with that.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: Try to tell me now, Yeah, yeah, I'm gonna I
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: am an about that action individual, and I will support
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: and uplift and help assist anyone who is also about
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: that action. And which is why Benami said that we
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: will continuously as we continue to talk about and review
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: fandom and pop culture, we will also be providing information.
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: Really this is prep.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Time right, funny too, because I wanted to talk about
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: how we've been you know, distressing, you know, a different
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: approach to our show.
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: But I guess we'll get to that.
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: We'll get to that. We'll get to that. Yeah. One
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: thing I do want people to watch.
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: It's it's both on TikTok now poly and Reels on
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: IG but it's a video from the creator Eddie Huang
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: and hopefully I'm pronouncing his name right, but it's a
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: video where he goes I think they say you sit
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: down with a white supremacist or whatever he wants. He
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: goes to dinner with this old white man and it's
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: just a small clip of a larger conversation that did
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: not watch or just watch the clip. And he asked
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: him directly, why would you support Donald Trump?
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: Right?
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: Or like, why would you why you think this is okay?
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: And the man tells him, he says the quiet part
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: out loud. He tells him, like, his question is, I
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: want to know why is it that you voted for
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: Donald Trump when you are so into facts and Donald
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: Trump's campaign.
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: Is not bab.
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: I didn't see the answer.
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: I saw the question, and it just running right now.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: He says, I voted for Trump for one reason only
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: his policies, if implemented, would slow down the disposition of
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: whites in the United States. And what he means by
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: that just to really make that very basic, because all
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: those policies would uphold.
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: White supremacy, is what he is saying.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: Those policies will uphold the standing of whites as the majority.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: But because they are, you know, slowly, because of this,
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: this this nation is supposed to be this great melting
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: pot of ideals and culture. Because of this, the makeup
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: of this nation, white people were slowly not becoming the majority.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: And there are people of his caliber and money and
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: stature and all that. Who they It doesn't matter the
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: package that it comes in. As long as those policies
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: are implemented that will help him maintain that standing. He
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: is going to support it. And that has been the
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: hard line for lots and lots of white people and
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: want to be white people. That's it, And the man
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: said it. And this is why I keep telling you
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: how these people are not stupid, he said. It's so
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: succinctly and direct, because what the fuck you're gonna do?
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: And that's the other part, Fuck you're gonna do.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: And that's why when it comes to us and when
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: we talk about we're gonna be more vocal on this,
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: because fuck you're gonna do. And when I'm saying that,
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: I'm talking about to my enemy, to my enemies, fuck
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: you gonna do.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: We also, I want to share some information about how
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: to get VPNs hide your presence online as much as possible. Yeah,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: because that's also very important. So we'll be sharing that
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: on fall nerds ig and then that's trouble of days,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: if not tomorrow by the time you hear this, and
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: I'll probably be up along with it. I got a
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: nice packet of information and there's a dope ath website
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: that will help you through the process.
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: Excellent.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: Yeah, so I'll definitely be sharing that on fall nerds ig,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: so look out for that real quick before we get
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: out of here. I did want to share some like
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: nerd ish and stuff. Well one thing, because we have
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: not had a show since New York Comic Con and
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: I haven't had a chance to make this video because
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: of all this other drama. So I just really want
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: to take a second and we'll be able to clip
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: this video, you know, in that way I made the video.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: I just wanted to take a second and really shout
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: out the fan fan man like, as you see if
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: you've a long time watcher.
- 1:04:02Speaker 4: Normally I have like.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: Two copies of Jimmy Hender's Purple Haze up there and
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: usually one down here, and as of right now, I
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: don't even have any. I actually have a fresh box
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: sitting over there, but we I just got that and
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: it ain't open yet. And at New York Comic Con
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: and just throughout the support for this book has been
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: beyond them real Like, I just want to thank y'all
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: because y'all are a big part of that. Like even
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: before it came out, we had so many pre orders
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: at Anyone Comics and that shit was just insane to see,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: you know, for this thirty dollars graphic novel. And then
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: since y'all got it, you know, the love and everybody's
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: been hitting me up and telling me how much they
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: love it and all this type of stuff. So I
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: just really want to thank all of y'all, man, Thank
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: you to the fan fam. Man, y'all do not know
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: how powerful y'all are, because like this is really making
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: waves out here, Like this book is making big waves
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: in the industry, and a lot of that goes to y'all.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: So I just really want to thank y'all, you know,
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: especially all the people who showed up and New York
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: Comic KNNA came through the booth and cops and shit there.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: That shit was crazy, like mad people. You know, God
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: can't remember short his neighbors. She had to create it
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: by Leslie Headlin shirt on the creator of alcohol, like
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: the shirt you know that had the credits on it.
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: Creator.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: Yeah, So shout out to you. I know you're listening
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: because you said you're a big fan of the show.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: So thank you. Thank you to everybody who came through.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: It was beautiful, much like how we say about us,
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: like you, all the listeners, the supports, the fan fam
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: y'all help open pathways for us and give us the
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: necessary not just fuel, but also the pathways to be
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: able to do what we love and to continue to
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: spread our message to like this being so vocal and
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: there for your support, and then that is opening doors
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: for him, like literally right, like this is giving him
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: opportunit community, this is this is giving him options and
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: that's because of the response. And so like I saw
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: the response to how is as he mentioned, I think
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: you're almost done with for you might go to second
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: print on this ship or it's inevitable at this point.
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: It's that's how keep supporting it.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: That's how huge, right, you gotta keep buying. But that's
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: how huge the the the response has been. And that's
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: also just leads further to that, I mean's character, further
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: to his level of talent and and also mellow shoutouts
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: Melo love it and just when you come together on
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: something with multiple creators, you know, shout out to Tom Mandrake.
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: Obviously, when you come together.
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: In in in love and creativity, you get success. Right, Look,
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: at Agatha all along, right, So, I mean it's a
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: prime example. One thing I do want to say before
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: we go is I want to give lots of love
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: and hard to Kamala Harris, the way she carried when
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: it came to this campaign, when it came to the
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: deficit that she was in, when it came to what
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: she had to surmount to get here.
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: And obviously, yes, the fact that she's an hu alumna hu.
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: You know all of that, man, The fact that she
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: didn't deserve none of is bullshit.
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: Yeah, the fact that.
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: This was mostly beneath her.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: After she had to deal with this fucking trash ass
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: receptacle of a candidate. And like this person in my
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: DM said she's lied more than any other candidate in
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: their lifetime. And I'm like, are we just ignoring this
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: fucking raging elephant in the room, you know what I mean?
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: Like that goes without Like, you know, I'm old enough
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: to know Reagan. You know a bunch of other motherfucker's
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: lied throughout it. I mean, you know why the bush
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: not down to towers?
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: You know what I mean. I'm I was there for
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: that one, so well.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: I just I just want to express my care and
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: love for Kamala and just understand like whether she's listening
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: or not, whether her people is listening or not, it

- 1:09:43Speaker 4: well that'll work.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: And then so we started putting it together and I

- 1:11:43Speaker 1: winners David F. Walker and Friends of the show Marcus
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: Kwalme Anderson. Big Jim and the White Boy is a

- 1:11:56Speaker 1: Finn from the team behind the Eisner Award Winn The
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: Black Panther Party. So this is basically a retelling of
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: the story of Huck Finn from the a Big Jim
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: his Slave Friend.
- 1:12:10Speaker 4: It is brilliant. It's definitely in my friend.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: I mean, it's even better when they going, you know

- 1:12:47Speaker 1: and it's in stores now. Also shout out to another
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: really good story about friendship and communication which we need
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: right now, in like an apocalyptic setting, Karen Gillen and
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: Stephanie Hans. We called them giants. I don't want to
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: give much more away from that. There the creators of Die.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: So if you've read Die, you know about how beautiful
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: Stephanie's art is. I mean, it's just stunning. Shit hearing
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: is killing it. It's a self contained story. We called
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: them giants kind of in an apocalyptic situation, but a
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: beautiful story about communication and speaking about communication. Another one
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: of my book of the years that I just got
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: put onto a New York Comic con is this book

- 1:13:44Speaker 1: sucking up all these names. It's called Home. It's by
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: Image Comics, and uh. On the back of it, it reads,
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: after being separated from his mother at the US border,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: a young Guatemalan immigrant must learn to harness is emerging
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: superhuman abilities are being hunted by the federal government. Honestly,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: I walked up on these dude's table in New York
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: Comic Con I saw the cover. I was like, yeah,
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: that's fire, give me this ship. I didn't know the
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: Little Boy at super Powers, you know what I mean.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: I thought it was a story about some guatem Holland immigrants,
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: you know, on the graphic novel, and I just wanted
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: to read that. So when Little Boy started flipping from
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: the Superpowers out, I was like, oh shit, I oh
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: so it gets real. So yeah, this is the first volume,

- 1:14:29Speaker 1: it has an education thing about immigration that you know,
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: if you're a teacher or whatever that type of thing,
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: you can read it to people help them learn about immigration.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: It before you get spanned, learned the nonsense, you know,
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: I mean, learn the truth instead of the nonsense. And
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: people have told you about migrants and everything else that
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: goes on. Right, So, yeah, that's just some comments. I
