- 0:19Speaker 2: by you know, kids in Pakistan who are under eight
- 0:21Speaker 2: years old in the factories.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Like your pots and pans.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Yeah, well they're made in China by kids under twelve.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Yeah no, I think kid's under ten.
- 0:30Speaker 1: But you have morals and now handle on the news
- 0:37Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Here's Bill Handle. Yeah, good morning, everybody.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Handle here.

- 0:59Speaker 2: me say to one and all will start with you.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Will good morning, Good morning Bill. You know, oh you're
- 1:09Speaker 2: wearing uh black, and usually black is slimming.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Oh wow, not so much this time around.
- 1:16Speaker 2: You first comment out of out of his mouth it's no,
- 1:19Speaker 2: I'm not swimming.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Well, you know, usually it works, Will I agree, thank you. Yeah,
- 1:26Speaker 3: not in your case. Okay, Neil's shaking his head. Good morning, Neal.
- 1:33Speaker 1: No, don't be a jerk to Will. He's a good man.
- 1:36Speaker 3: I'm not arguing.
- 1:37Speaker 1: He's not fat.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Me excuse me. He is not fat.
- 1:44Speaker 1: I'm big bone.
- 1:45Speaker 3: He's not fat, but he is fat.
- 1:49Speaker 2: For those of you that for those of you don't
- 1:51Speaker 2: want this thing and it's fat. Except me, you can
- 1:55Speaker 2: Will's pretty, Will's pretty chunky, Will, Will's everybody is.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Totally normal except for Kno, he's a little on.
- 2:03Speaker 3: The is thin.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Is not fat, but she is not thin. What are
- 2:12Speaker 2: you talk to me about. I'm telling I'm body shaming everybody.
- 2:15Speaker 2: I said, not fat?
- 2:16Speaker 3: Are you kidding?
- 2:16Speaker 2: But also not she's not slender where Amy, for example,
- 2:21Speaker 2: is slender.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Amy is ten feet tall.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Yeah, but that does She's still slender.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Four hundred pounds and it's beautiful.
- 2:32Speaker 2: And she's not Yeah she's a bitty thing.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Oh my god, bitty.
- 2:39Speaker 4: What do you mean she's not that bitty? Have you
- 2:41Speaker 4: seen her lately?
- 2:42Speaker 3: Yeah, she's bitty.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Er.
- 2:44Speaker 3: You told me that I could be in an extra
- 2:47Speaker 3: in a concentration camp movie. No, I said, you were moving.
- 2:51Speaker 4: It was the sweetest thing.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Ever I said you were moving in that direction.
- 2:59Speaker 4: Oh, but ways to go?
- 3:01Speaker 3: H yeah, a lot of us have ways to go.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, anything else going on, we're going to talk
- 3:09Speaker 2: more that or our Cono gofund me page is doing well.
- 3:14Speaker 3: How much do we have in there? And a lot?
- 3:16Speaker 3: This is great. We are at thirteen thousand, one hundred
- 3:20Speaker 3: and seven.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Okay, so our goal is twenty five thousand dollars because
- 3:25Speaker 2: Cono's car blew up and Cono works here, so that's
- 3:30Speaker 2: a bad commodation. So ConA wants to get another car
- 3:34Speaker 2: and we're helping him do that, and so far our
- 3:37Speaker 2: goals twenty five.
- 3:38Speaker 3: We're halfway there. Over halfway there, and this time.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Around we're helping Kno buy a car with four wheels,
- 3:45Speaker 2: which should help out on his drive in seventy two
- 3:49Speaker 2: miles each way, so it goal is slow.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:53Speaker 2: If you could help us, and we've all kicked in,
- 3:55Speaker 2: this is not an Iheard or KFI event. This is
- 3:58Speaker 2: strictly us on the Morning show as individuals. Please help
- 4:02Speaker 2: us help Kono. Go to k F I a M
- 4:05Speaker 2: six forty dot com slash Cono, k O n O
- 4:10Speaker 2: and it's a direct link to the go fundme, Paige,
- 4:13Speaker 2: and please do it through our website because there's a
- 4:16Speaker 2: lot of craziness out there, and that way it's guaranteed
- 4:18Speaker 2: to go to where it's supposed to go.
- 4:20Speaker 1: And that's what's done with this. And we raised the
- 4:23Speaker 1: money for Kno, we're going to start the GoFundMe for
- 4:26Speaker 1: billboards and marketing for the show.
- 4:28Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly what Wait, first we have to do it
- 4:31Speaker 4: for Amy's cat though.
- 4:33Speaker 2: That's right, cat is sick? Well, I mean, how how
- 4:39Speaker 2: how sick is is the cat? Well?
- 4:42Speaker 4: We don't know.
- 4:42Speaker 5: I mean she's she's doing okay because she's on steroids,
- 4:45Speaker 5: but we don't still know what's wrong with her. And
- 4:49Speaker 5: now they want to do a cat scan of her
- 4:51Speaker 5: little head.
- 4:51Speaker 3: A cat scan.
- 4:53Speaker 4: Yeah, you know how much those cost? It's going to
- 4:57Speaker 4: be like four or five thousand dollars.
- 4:58Speaker 2: I got Come on, no, cat, it is worth four
- 5:00Speaker 2: five thousand dollars for god, say, come on, James.
- 5:03Speaker 4: Would you spend it on your dog?
- 5:05Speaker 1: No, that was a dumb question.
- 5:08Speaker 2: No. As a matter of fact, I had I had
- 5:13Speaker 2: a dog and I went on the air.
- 5:14Speaker 3: It was she needed surgery.
- 5:18Speaker 2: She had a bile duct that was blocked and was
- 5:21Speaker 2: in really bad shape, and I asked, I asked listeners,
- 5:26Speaker 2: this was when I had the weekend show, I mean
- 5:28Speaker 2: a million years ago. And I asked the listeners, do
- 5:31Speaker 2: I and that was eighteen hundred dollars But that was
- 5:33Speaker 2: a lot of.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Years ago, A lot more now.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a lot more now. But also you have
- 5:38Speaker 2: to adjust for inflation. And I asked, listeners, do I
- 5:42Speaker 2: spend eighteen maybe it was twenty eight hundred dollars, Do
- 5:44Speaker 2: I spend this money on the dog to save its life?
- 5:48Speaker 2: Or no? Overwhelmingly, like ninety five ninety eight percent said,
- 5:56Speaker 2: of course you have to spend the money.
- 5:58Speaker 3: How can you not? And then the next week I.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Came back and reported, yeah, we put the dog down
- 6:05Speaker 2: and it did very well as it was being put down.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Okay.
- 6:10Speaker 1: One of his twin daughters was six needed a fifteen
- 6:14Speaker 1: hundred dollars surgery, and Bill walked back into her and said, sorry,
- 6:18Speaker 1: doctor says you're not gonna make it.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a couple of jokes about that that are.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Very very funny.
- 6:25Speaker 1: That's sad. I'm so sorry, Amy, that sucks.
- 6:28Speaker 4: I'm the best.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Are you I mean, are you going this? We're going
- 6:31Speaker 2: to are you going to spend four five thousand dollars
- 6:33Speaker 2: on the cat.
- 6:34Speaker 5: Well, I've already spent almost four thousand on her and
- 6:36Speaker 5: we still don't know what's wrong with her.
- 6:38Speaker 1: That's like two visits.
- 6:39Speaker 3: There is there a limit.
- 6:42Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 6:43Speaker 5: Well, at some point I'm going to run out of money.
- 6:46Speaker 4: That's what I keep telling them that do we have
- 6:47Speaker 4: any vets listening?
- 6:49Speaker 2: There was you know my dog that was eaten by
- 6:53Speaker 2: a coyote. You know, she became a coyote food and
- 6:58Speaker 2: she was not eating. She was severely injured with a
- 7:00Speaker 2: coyote try and eat her. So she went into surgery
- 7:04Speaker 2: and it was like four thousand dollars. And then the
- 7:07Speaker 2: following week she took a turn for the worse and
- 7:11Speaker 2: needed another surgery and needed a very complex surgery, and
- 7:16Speaker 2: they wanted seventeen thousand dollars. I said, you're dreaming. It
- 7:20Speaker 2: used to be You're just done. So we put the
- 7:23Speaker 2: dog down. I mean, I won't just spend that much weight.
- 7:25Speaker 2: And I asked, I asked the tech what do people
- 7:29Speaker 2: do they can't afford this, what do they do?
- 7:32Speaker 1: They put the dog down?
- 7:35Speaker 5: Now, they used to be that it was like really inexpensive,
- 7:40Speaker 5: like you'd take all three of your animals. I used
- 7:42Speaker 5: to have two cats and a dog and take all
- 7:44Speaker 5: three of them, get a discount, and get all three
- 7:46Speaker 5: of them in for like fifty bucks. But the vets
- 7:48Speaker 5: have changed and they want to test for absolutely everything
- 7:52Speaker 5: before because.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Of the malpractice, because of the malpractice suits.
- 7:55Speaker 2: It's like anything else. You have to test up the
- 7:58Speaker 2: Yang yang matter of fact, they do test.
- 7:59Speaker 4: Up the they do. They are yes, they.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Have Okay, I know, okay, guys, done with a frivolity
- 8:06Speaker 2: in the morning, morning dead.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Catch get it now.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Okay, let's go, guys, it's time for handle on the news.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Amy Neil and me lead story. Well, federal panel consisting
- 8:28Speaker 2: of I think a district court judge as well as
- 8:31Speaker 2: a couple of appeals court judges were ruling where they
- 8:36Speaker 2: were listening to a case about California and can't use
- 8:41Speaker 2: the newly configured congressional boundaries for the mid term election
- 8:48Speaker 2: to basically make five districts more likely to flip to Democrat.
- 8:54Speaker 2: And this has to do with Congress. That was Prop
- 8:56Speaker 2: fifty that we did, and the court said it's legit.
- 9:00Speaker 3: It is legit.
- 9:01Speaker 2: The Republicans who the same thing happened in Texas. Who
- 9:04Speaker 2: fought for it to happen in Texas, filed a lawsuit
- 9:07Speaker 2: to make it sure it didn't happen in California, and
- 9:10Speaker 2: that jud just said no. And it had to do
- 9:13Speaker 2: with why were these congressional districts flipping because of political reasons?
- 9:20Speaker 2: The argument is, it can't do it for racial reasons,
- 9:24Speaker 2: but you can for political reasons.
- 9:27Speaker 3: And that's what the court said. This is clearly political.
- 9:30Speaker 1: California is going to be red now.
- 9:33Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, no. It has to do with
- 9:35Speaker 3: these districts.
- 9:36Speaker 2: No, these districts which lean read there happened to be
- 9:41Speaker 2: a few congressional districts that are red.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Wait, so we're gonna be blue.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Now, we're gonna be bluer.
- 9:50Speaker 2: We're gonna be bluer in these five This is California
- 9:53Speaker 2: gonna look like liberal it. Yeah, it's gonna look but
- 9:57Speaker 2: you see Texas, Texas did the same thing. It did
- 10:00Speaker 2: the same thing for Republican diss.
- 10:03Speaker 1: This is going to be conservative.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Neil Neil, Neil Neil, what's that trying. I'm trying to
- 10:09Speaker 3: be serious here, I'm trying to be serious.
- 10:13Speaker 1: You can't tell when you're trying to be funny.
- 10:14Speaker 2: I'm sorry that was not funny, but you know what,
- 10:17Speaker 2: I want to come back and I do want to
- 10:19Speaker 2: make it funny. You we're gonna when we come back
- 10:21Speaker 2: when you're talking aimy about dead cats.
- 10:24Speaker 4: Okay, Oh my turn to mask or not to mask?
- 10:29Speaker 5: A judge heard arguments from a Trump administration lawyer who
- 10:34Speaker 5: pressed the judge to block the newly enacted California law
- 10:38Speaker 5: that bans most law enforcement officers in the state from
- 10:41Speaker 5: wearing masks. Another law then also requires them to show ID.
- 10:46Speaker 5: It's a first of its kind ban on police face coverings,
- 10:49Speaker 5: and the lawyer says it could unleash chaos across the
- 10:53Speaker 5: country and potentially land ice agents on the wrong side
- 10:56Speaker 5: of the law if it were to take effect. The
- 10:58Speaker 5: judge appeared skeptical and said, why can't they perform their
- 11:02Speaker 5: duties without a mask? They did it until twenty twenty five.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Yeah, how in the world do those who don't have
- 11:08Speaker 2: masks manage to operate? Now there's an exemption for California
- 11:13Speaker 2: peace officers, which I don't understand. But anyway, there's a
- 11:19Speaker 2: lot of a lot of dissension, a lot of controversy
- 11:23Speaker 2: regarding the masks that I say.
- 11:26Speaker 3: It's all because of what's going on with ICE.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Although you know, police officers has been a problem over
- 11:32Speaker 2: the last few years because with facial recognition and you know,
- 11:37Speaker 2: looking at police officers taking pictures and they find out.
- 11:39Speaker 3: Who they are and they dock them. Yeah, and they
- 11:43Speaker 3: dock them.
- 11:44Speaker 1: But there has to be something. As much as I
- 11:47Speaker 1: am for law and order, there has to be something,
- 11:49Speaker 1: a number, something, identification, something to be Otherwise anybody and
- 11:55Speaker 1: everybody can just throw that.
- 11:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I say that there are and say there are
- 11:58Speaker 3: I station and come in.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Some of them don't even have ID that tells people
- 12:04Speaker 2: there are ICE agents and they're breaking into a story
- 12:08Speaker 2: of breaking into the house and pulling people out.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Okay, moving on, all right, we're selling oil.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Everybody, get your oil American slash Venezuelan oil. The United
- 12:23Speaker 1: States completed its first sale of Venezuelan oil, valued at
- 12:29Speaker 1: five hundred million bucks. We're going to expect more of this, obviously.
- 12:35Speaker 1: So Trump said that Friday the oil industry would invest
- 12:38Speaker 1: at least one hundred billion to rebuild the infrastructure there.
- 12:43Speaker 1: He says that it's battered. Their energy sector is battered.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Of course, fortunately not everybody feels like it's worth investing in.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Exxon Mobile CEO said, I don't know. There's a lot
- 12:59Speaker 1: going up there, and there's legal and commercial frameworks that
- 13:02Speaker 1: have to be established, so not everybody is as gung
- 13:05Speaker 1: ho on that as an investment.
- 13:08Speaker 3: Well, this was at a.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Policy meeting where Trump had with the CEOs of oil companies,
- 13:15Speaker 2: and it was Exon Mobile CEO Darren Woods who said
- 13:19Speaker 2: that Venezuela is uninvestible. Remember Trump wants one hundred billion dollars,
- 13:25Speaker 2: one hundred billion dollars invested. He goes no, and then
- 13:28Speaker 2: he points out that Venezuela twice nationalized the oil industry
- 13:34Speaker 2: and took twice their infrastructure from Exon Mobil, and he goes,
- 13:39Speaker 2: you know, a third time uninvestable.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Well, so Trump.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Got really pissed off, and he said, Okay, all of
- 13:45Speaker 2: you can invest, but not you Exon Mobil, you can't.
- 13:52Speaker 5: Welfare recipients not welcome. Trump administration has suspended immigrant visa
- 13:59Speaker 5: processing for people in seventy five countries, including Afghanistan and
- 14:04Speaker 5: Iran and Somalia. The freeze will take effect next week
- 14:10Speaker 5: and targets people that officials say are likely to become
- 14:14Speaker 5: a public charge. They describe those people as people who
- 14:17Speaker 5: may rely on government benefits for basic needs.
- 14:22Speaker 3: Yeah, except you know, where's the evidence.
- 14:25Speaker 2: And already it's not easy to immigrate to the United States,
- 14:28Speaker 2: and part of the visa application to live here.
- 14:31Speaker 3: Is proving you got the money. And so it's look
- 14:36Speaker 3: at the countries involved.
- 14:39Speaker 1: What do you mean proving you got the money? Is
- 14:41Speaker 1: there some I'm genuinely ignorant of this. You have to
- 14:46Speaker 1: when you come here, you have to show that you
- 14:48Speaker 1: have a certain amount of money.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Yeah, and or you have the skill that is necessary,
- 14:52Speaker 2: a skill set that is necessary. It is not easy
- 14:55Speaker 2: to get a visa to come in. I say, now,
- 14:59Speaker 2: visitors visa are easy.
- 15:01Speaker 4: And this does not affect visitor visas by.
- 15:03Speaker 2: The way, No, it does not affect visitor visas or
- 15:06Speaker 2: work visas that the requirements are met by the companies.
- 15:10Speaker 2: But we're talking about people that are coming here permanently.
- 15:13Speaker 4: You know why this is an issue right now.
- 15:16Speaker 5: Because what's going on in Minnesota with the Somalian people
- 15:20Speaker 5: who were on the temporary right issue.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Yeah, because the fraud that's going on, the.
- 15:26Speaker 5: Fraud, and in congressional hearings they're saying, like three quarters
- 15:30Speaker 5: of the Somalis in that area are on public assistance.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a lot of things, but you know, so
- 15:37Speaker 2: you have one group of people, which President Trump called garbage,
- 15:41Speaker 2: the Somalis, nicely said, and it's been extrapolated to other countries,
- 15:46Speaker 2: mainly poor countries and a lot of the Muslim countries.
- 15:49Speaker 2: And I mean, there is some method to the madness here,
- 15:52Speaker 2: but there also is a way of giving Greek cars
- 15:56Speaker 2: to people who not only deserve green cards because they're
- 16:00Speaker 2: coming from places that meet the requirements of the persecution
- 16:06Speaker 2: in their place.
- 16:07Speaker 3: But also what the United States needs. I mean, even
- 16:10Speaker 3: when my.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Parents became they got their green card, and it took
- 16:15Speaker 2: my dad eleven years because there was a quota system,
- 16:18Speaker 2: stood in line eleven years. I mean, that was a
- 16:21Speaker 2: very uncomfortable standing in line for eleven years. But yeah,
- 16:27Speaker 2: I mean literally it was eleven years before he came up.
- 16:29Speaker 2: And so my mom and dad went to the American
- 16:32Speaker 2: consulate and had applied and my dad had an engineering
- 16:37Speaker 2: degree and had those skills. My mother was a dentist
- 16:41Speaker 2: and had those skills, and the counselor office said to them,
- 16:45Speaker 2: as issuing a green card, you're exactly the kind of
- 16:48Speaker 2: people that America needs.
- 16:51Speaker 1: He called me sappy, But that's what that's what I
- 16:53Speaker 1: think when I hear that, I want to hear immigrants
- 16:56Speaker 1: coming and taking advantage of the true American having opportunity.
- 17:01Speaker 3: Yeah, and giving and giving your country. Yeah.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Hey, if you were an open book, would you have
- 17:06Speaker 1: your appendix removed? What I have?
- 17:11Speaker 3: When I didn't need an open book.
- 17:13Speaker 1: I said, if you were an open book, would you
- 17:15Speaker 1: have your appendix removed?
- 17:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't get it.
- 17:17Speaker 1: It's a book joke. Appendix in the.
- 17:23Speaker 2: God that's a little bit of a stretch that took
- 17:25Speaker 2: someone with some brains to figure out, which means nobody
- 17:28Speaker 2: on this show.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Okay, moving on, Oh man, So ice agent shot a man,
- 17:37Speaker 1: this time in the leg for everybody gets crazy. This
- 17:41Speaker 1: was in the leg of Venezuelan. Man got shot in
- 17:44Speaker 1: the leg after being ambushed and attacked by two other people.
- 17:47Speaker 4: And the agent was ambushed in the attack.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Yeah, but Venezuela, and they were trying to arrest an
- 17:55Speaker 1: immigrant at the time, and so this is another shoe
- 18:00Speaker 1: happening happening in Minneapolis.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Yeah, but this I don't think there's a lot of
- 18:05Speaker 2: controversy to if, in fact, According to the DHS, he
- 18:10Speaker 2: resisted arrest and violently.
- 18:12Speaker 3: It's a quote assaulted the officer.
- 18:14Speaker 4: With a shovel and a brooms.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Yeah, if that is true, then it was totally justified.
- 18:21Speaker 3: I mean, I have no issue with that. The guy's
- 18:22Speaker 3: lucky to be alive.
- 18:23Speaker 5: Frankly, are Greenland's days numbered. Denmark's foreign minister said there
- 18:31Speaker 5: was a frank but also constructive conversation with the Trump
- 18:35Speaker 5: administration at the White House yesterday, but no deal. He says,
- 18:40Speaker 5: we still have fundamental disagreement. That's from Lars Rosmussen, the
- 18:44Speaker 5: top Danish diplomat. He said, we didn't manage to change
- 18:47Speaker 5: the American position, and the American position is from Trump,
- 18:51Speaker 5: we want Greenland.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Now, this is getting more interesting by the second. Denmark
- 18:57Speaker 2: is sending troops over to Greenland because that's who defends
- 19:02Speaker 2: Screenland doesn't have its own army and the two hundred
- 19:05Speaker 2: of them. France is sending troops. Now that gets really
- 19:10Speaker 2: interesting because Denmark is part of NATO, France is part
- 19:14Speaker 2: of NATO, and the United States is part of NATO.
- 19:17Speaker 3: So does one NATO.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Country invade and do is there a military conflict with
- 19:23Speaker 2: another NATO country? They never figured that was going to happen. Ever,
- 19:27Speaker 2: is that supposed to be intimidating? We have two hundred people,
- 19:32Speaker 2: but now we have diffren You know, it's it's going
- 19:35Speaker 2: to be really interesting because an attack on one NATO
- 19:38Speaker 2: country is an attack on all. That's Article five. But
- 19:41Speaker 2: that's just an attack. It doesn't say from whom, It
- 19:43Speaker 2: just says an attack. And it was created to deter
- 19:49Speaker 2: Soviet a Soviet attack. So, man, this is going well,
- 19:53Speaker 2: we're hearing that NATO is going to disappear. If that happens,
- 19:56Speaker 2: NATO collapses, Okay, moving on, and then we're not going
- 20:00Speaker 2: to sell. They're saying, we're not selling NATO, thank you.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Although they're negotiating do we want more bases? But they
- 20:06Speaker 2: can have all the ones they want. You know, it's
- 20:09Speaker 2: not like anything's going to change.
- 20:11Speaker 1: I think it's negotiation. Stop. What are they going to do?
- 20:15Speaker 2: I would think they're negotiating the price they want to discount.
- 20:18Speaker 1: No, I think it's like if Trump wants bases or
- 20:21Speaker 1: he wants some.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Of them, but they already can get I mean, there's
- 20:24Speaker 3: no issue.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Okay.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Moving Oh by the way, I'm going to do a
- 20:27Speaker 2: story about this at eight point fifty.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Welcome to Greenland.
- 20:32Speaker 2: The money part of it, which in and of itself
- 20:35Speaker 2: interesting stuff.
- 20:36Speaker 3: I do one more story before we take our.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Break, all right. I love this. Sometimes it seems our
- 20:40Speaker 1: president gets information from the Internet or something and says sources.
- 20:45Speaker 1: He said. He made this vague statement yesterday that he's
- 20:49Speaker 1: been told on good authority that plans for executions in
- 20:53Speaker 1: Iran have stopped, even as Tehran has indicated fast try
- 21:00Speaker 1: and executions ahead of its crackdown on protesters. So Trump
- 21:05Speaker 1: didn't specify where he received the information, but only described
- 21:08Speaker 1: it as very important sources on the other side.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Now what I believe he does get that information, all
- 21:16Speaker 2: of this classified information, and there is intelligence out there.
- 21:20Speaker 1: So it always ends with this phrase, Listen, I hope
- 21:23Speaker 1: it's true. Knows.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, and he every time. I hope that's
- 21:30Speaker 2: what's going on. But now the executions. So the executions
- 21:33Speaker 2: have been stopped at least for the immediate future. Not
- 21:38Speaker 2: the attacks on the citizenry. Those massacres are still going on.
- 21:44Speaker 2: It's just the executions because of the world reaction to
- 21:48Speaker 2: this and Iran is if the execution is kept on going.
- 21:53Speaker 2: The President said, We're going for it. You know, you
- 21:56Speaker 2: got to stop those executions. And Iran. See now, when
- 21:59Speaker 2: the president says something like that or else, people believe
- 22:04Speaker 2: the or else. That line in the sand, I mean
- 22:07Speaker 2: Obama drew the line in the sand with you know,
- 22:11Speaker 2: Saddam It. It was ridiculous. He never crossed it. I
- 22:14Speaker 2: mean they crossed it, but he never did anything about it.
- 22:17Speaker 2: One of the bushes, was it?
- 22:18Speaker 3: The bush?
- 22:19Speaker 2: And the line in the sand I think was an
- 22:21Speaker 2: Obama issue. I think it was. But anyway, the line
- 22:24Speaker 2: in the sand doesn't mean much to the United States
- 22:26Speaker 2: except for Donald Trump when he said there's a line,
- 22:30Speaker 2: there is a line, and Iran is saying, Okay, we're
- 22:35Speaker 2: not going to cross it.
- 22:37Speaker 3: All right.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Just before we went to break, Amy reported as part
- 22:40Speaker 2: of her news broadcast that there is a California senator
- 22:45Speaker 2: has introduced a bill in the California legislature that limits
- 22:50Speaker 2: the president's term to two years. Cannot go for third
- 22:54Speaker 2: year or third term. Okay, he's a lawyer, so clearly
- 22:57Speaker 2: when he took his constitutional law class, they only went up.
- 23:01Speaker 2: The class only went to the twenty first Amendment because
- 23:04Speaker 2: the twenty second Amendment says that a president can only
- 23:08Speaker 2: serve two terms.
- 23:12Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 23:12Speaker 2: I'd vote for this guy, for the lawyer that wastes
- 23:16Speaker 2: more money in the legislature than almost anybody else. Okay,
- 23:19Speaker 2: back we go more Handle on the News with Amy,
- 23:23Speaker 2: Neil and.
- 23:24Speaker 4: Me Grock's getting investigated.
- 23:27Speaker 5: California has announced an investigation into Elon Musk's x AI.
- 23:32Speaker 5: Governor Newsom accuses the artificial intelligence company of becoming a
- 23:36Speaker 5: what he calls a breeding ground for predators to spread
- 23:39Speaker 5: non consensual, sexually explicit AI deep fakes, and that has
- 23:44Speaker 5: been a problem. X Ai has just announced, though, that
- 23:48Speaker 5: it is doing it itself. It's blocking GROC from making
- 23:52Speaker 5: these images anymore.
- 23:53Speaker 4: We'll see.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Yeah, that's scary stuff.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's you know, with this AI business, no
- 23:57Speaker 2: one has any idea you know, where it's going to
- 23:59Speaker 2: go or what kind of controls they are.
- 24:01Speaker 3: It's suck Like.
- 24:02Speaker 4: The dancing cats are cool, but you know, the naked
- 24:06Speaker 4: children not so much.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Yeah, but the dancing cans storking each other maybe not
- 24:10Speaker 2: so cool, especially for eight year olds.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, if you saw the images of President
- 24:19Speaker 1: Trump walking through where was he?
- 24:23Speaker 4: He said, an auto planted autoplant?
- 24:25Speaker 1: You the Ford motor autoplant? Thanks Amy, he walked by,
- 24:28Speaker 1: and I guess someone said something and he flipped them off. Well,
- 24:31Speaker 1: the guy who said something got suspended, and so people
- 24:37Speaker 1: did a GoFundMe page. What the hell's would go fundme pages? Yeah,
- 24:41Speaker 1: eight thousand dollars, eight hundred thousand dollars. But listen to
- 24:44Speaker 1: this screen was TJ Sabula. What a what a guy?
- 24:49Speaker 1: He said, Hey, thanks for all your support, but he
- 24:52Speaker 1: shut them down and said there's other charity out there
- 24:55Speaker 1: that needs your money, not me. I thought that was
- 24:59Speaker 1: class move.
- 25:00Speaker 2: What this guy did was scream something about Epstein to
- 25:03Speaker 2: the President as the President is walking on the catwalk,
- 25:06Speaker 2: about protecting pedal and yeah, he called him, you protect pedophiles,
- 25:10Speaker 2: and Trump screamed, I we didn't know what he said,
- 25:13Speaker 2: but flipped him the bird, flipped him the finger, which
- 25:17Speaker 2: of course got insane coverage, and of course MAGA and
- 25:21Speaker 2: the White House saying that that's just the President being president,
- 25:24Speaker 2: he's real and et cetera. Now I have a question, Uh,
- 25:28Speaker 2: the union members of these ford plants actually put the
- 25:32Speaker 2: President in the White House, that was a big, big
- 25:37Speaker 2: part of his vote. I don't know how they're going
- 25:40Speaker 2: to feel about the President flipping off a union member,
- 25:44Speaker 2: and no idea if he's going to piss off the
- 25:49Speaker 2: And I don't know.
- 25:51Speaker 5: Not everybody in the union supported Trump. He had union backing.
- 25:55Speaker 5: He did this guy obviously didn't.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Yeah, but usually usually the union's go Democrat, almost always yes,
- 26:02Speaker 2: And in this case they flipped and supported Trump, and
- 26:05Speaker 2: he flips off the union member. So I have no
- 26:08Speaker 2: idea whether it means nothing to me. It means nothing.
- 26:11Speaker 2: I mean, that's okay, so what. But everything he does
- 26:16Speaker 2: is political, Everything anybody does is political.
- 26:21Speaker 5: One is the loneliest highway that we've ever seen. It's
- 26:25Speaker 5: been shut down through a big surf for the last
- 26:27Speaker 5: three years, but guess what it is finally reopen. Highway
- 26:32Speaker 5: one was first closed in twenty twenty three. We had
- 26:36Speaker 5: a bunch of atmospheric rivers go through that sparked a
- 26:39Speaker 5: landslide or triggered a landslide, and then a second winner
- 26:43Speaker 5: of drenching storms triggered more landslides, and a big chunk
- 26:47Speaker 5: of the highway has been buried under three hundred thousand
- 26:51Speaker 5: cubic yards of dirt, rock and debris. But that has
- 26:54Speaker 5: been cleared and the two lane highway is completely open
- 26:58Speaker 5: again for the drive between one hundred miles between Carmel
- 27:02Speaker 5: and Gas.
- 27:03Speaker 3: That's good news.
- 27:04Speaker 2: And drivers have to when they do, they have to
- 27:06Speaker 2: get Boulder and Boulder to make that drive.
- 27:08Speaker 3: You know that. Okay, I think we can do another one.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Hey, did you do your book? Remove its appendix?
- 27:17Speaker 3: All right? Moving forward?
- 27:20Speaker 1: So could you imagine being on a flight, a long flight,
- 27:24Speaker 1: and then they have to turn the flight around because
- 27:27Speaker 1: you're sick. Now, imagine if you're in the space station
- 27:30Speaker 1: and you have to turn everything around. You've got an
- 27:34Speaker 1: ailing astronaut. God speeds that they are okay, return to
- 27:39Speaker 1: Earth with three others yesterday or actually this morning, I
- 27:43Speaker 1: guess it would have been at what last I gotcha.
- 27:46Speaker 1: So they're coming back from their space station mission about
- 27:51Speaker 1: a month or so early.
- 27:53Speaker 3: They splashed down in San Diego. Was there a boom
- 27:55Speaker 3: last night?
- 27:57Speaker 1: Some were saying that southern California might be able to
- 27:59Speaker 1: hear the sonic boom when they re entry or the
- 28:01Speaker 1: boom when they re entry re enter rather and you
- 28:06Speaker 1: could see it. It was like a slow a slow media
- 28:10Speaker 1: you're right, or something coming to Earth.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:12Speaker 2: And when they had to remove first time the ISS
- 28:14Speaker 2: ever had an emergency removal of asters, and they don't.
- 28:18Speaker 2: They won't tell us how sick the astronaut was or
- 28:21Speaker 2: what the what the ailment was. Now, I don't know
- 28:24Speaker 2: if you've ever read or heard astronauts talking about those capsules.
- 28:29Speaker 2: When they're there for days or hours at a time,
- 28:32Speaker 2: about half the astronauts get motion sickness, uh in weightless
- 28:37Speaker 2: and I have read there are yeah, and there is
- 28:40Speaker 2: nothing like vomit in a weightless atmosphere, flying around the capsule.
- 28:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's a pleasant it's a very pleasant way
- 28:51Speaker 2: to go. I thought they were looking for people who
- 28:53Speaker 2: don't have the like it happens, It happens. They it's
- 28:57Speaker 2: you really don't know until you're weightless and up this
- 29:00Speaker 2: guy and we're up in space. Okay, we're done, guys.
- 29:05Speaker 2: KF I am sixty.
- 29:07Speaker 3: You've been listening to The Bill Handle Show.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Catch my show Monday through Friday, six am to nine am,
