- 0:59Speaker 1: Oh, man. 33. All right. Enough conversation for you, Ryan.
- 1:03Speaker 1: All right. That was it. Happy birthday. Dang. I turned
- 1:07Speaker 1: it off. I turned it off. God bless you. God
- 1:09Speaker 1: bless you. That's enough.
- 1:10Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:10Speaker 1: You had enough. All right.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Behind the scenes.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Shout out, Ryan, man. Happy birthday, Brody. Happy birthday. Let's
- 1:18Speaker 1: go ahead and get to this, man. Let's catch everybody up.
- 1:20Speaker 1: First of all, Kiki's Puerto Rican trip. She made Puerto
- 1:24Speaker 1: Rico look good. Puerto Rican trip is wild. Yes. You
- 1:27Speaker 1: calling it a Puerto Rican trip? That's what it was.
- 1:30Speaker 1: That might be a little racist. No. A tad bit.
- 1:32Speaker 2: He cannot be racist against his own people.
- 1:34Speaker 1: I'm not Puerto Rican. My bad.
- 1:37Speaker 2: I had a great time in Puerto Rico.
- 1:40Speaker 1: In Puerto Rico. Yes. Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico.
- 1:43Speaker 3: She went to Puerto Rico and you made it look good.
- 1:46Speaker 3: What was the best thing about Puerto Rico?
- 1:49Speaker 2: Oh, the drinks. It was great. You know, shout out
- 1:52Speaker 2: to this bar I found out there. Some Puerto Rican man,
- 1:55Speaker 2: he got his own bar. He got great drinks. They cheap.
- 1:58Speaker 2: And he play Chicago music.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Oh, wow. Really?
- 2:01Speaker 2: He play stepping. He play, I mean, everything. So, yeah,
- 2:05Speaker 2: I love Puerto Rico.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Kiki, I ain't gonna lie. I was worried about you. Why?
- 2:08Speaker 3: Because you was on them ATVs and people be having
- 2:11Speaker 3: them accidents on them things.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I was like.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Please, Lord, bring Kiki back in one piece.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I was on the ATVs with my aunties. Shout out
- 2:19Speaker 2: to them. They was driving. I was just there for
- 2:22Speaker 2: the vibes. I had a great time.
- 2:24Speaker 3: So you didn't... I didn't see that ATV ride. You
- 2:26Speaker 3: was riding or were you driving?
- 2:27Speaker 2: I was riding.
- 2:29Speaker 5: Riding.
- 2:29Speaker 2: My aunt was driving.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Why didn't you want to drive on it?
- 2:31Speaker 2: I'm just... I'm not an ATV girl. You know what
- 2:34Speaker 2: I'm saying? I would be turning on the turning signal and, like, stopping.
- 2:37Speaker 2: But my auntie was gone, baby. We had a time.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Puerto Rico is beautiful. They say they don't have no
- 2:43Speaker 2: water over there, but I was fine. It was water.
- 2:46Speaker 2: And everybody in Puerto Rico is fine. Okay? It's much
- 2:50Speaker 2: like Houston, Texas. Everybody is tan and fine in Puerto Rico. Grandmas, granddaddies, everybody.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Oh, man.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Shout out. Shout out, Puerto Rico.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Yeah, shout out to your people.
- 3:01Speaker 1: It's not my people.
- 3:03Speaker 3: It's not my people, but we'll be bringing some Puerto
- 3:05Speaker 3: Rican stuff up later.
- 3:07Speaker 1: On in the show. Freaking Puerto Rican. Freaking Puerto Rican.
- 3:10Speaker 1: It's crazy. Labor Day weekend. Best thing you did over
- 3:13Speaker 1: the weekend, Zach?
- 3:14Speaker 3: Best thing I did over the weekend? I really worked
- 3:16Speaker 3: all weekend, man. Did comedy shows, hosted Red Cup karaoke.
- 3:19Speaker 1: It was a great time. It was all that, but
- 3:22Speaker 1: the best thing I did was grill my wings. Grilled
- 3:26Speaker 1: your wings?
- 3:27Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, as a grill master... Somebody who takes
- 3:30Speaker 3: his grilling very serious. Somebody who really just keeps the
- 3:33Speaker 3: tradition of what black men are supposed to do in
- 3:34Speaker 3: the summertime alive.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Come on now.
- 3:37Speaker 1: I take it very seriously.
- 3:38Speaker 3: I felt like the weather slowed me down a bit
- 3:40Speaker 3: and I didn't get to get out on the grill
- 3:42Speaker 3: as much as I really wanted to this year. So
- 3:44Speaker 3: now I'm making up for lost time. So every weekend
- 3:46Speaker 3: until it gets cold, I will be grilling something.
- 3:48Speaker 1: So who has called you a grill bastard? I'm just checking.
- 3:53Speaker 4: The same people that called Jacquees the king of R
- 3:55Speaker 4: & B.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Hello.
- 3:56Speaker 1: It's self-proclaimed. It's self-proclaimed. How did Jacquees get in there? Self-proclaimed. Self-proclaimed. Well, then,
- 4:04Speaker 1: as a rooftop master.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Now, I'll call you that.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 4:10Speaker 3: I'm the master of all rooftops. And I've learned how
- 4:14Speaker 3: to navigate them. I had a great time, man. Shout
- 4:16Speaker 3: out to Joy District's rooftop. Shout out Soho House Rooftop.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Shout out to the Ye after party at Radius. Oh, wow.
- 4:24Speaker 1: That looked crazy. That was really good.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Now, I haven't had, what it is, is I always
- 4:30Speaker 3: have a lot of fun when it's a lot, people
- 4:32Speaker 3: I haven't seen in a very long time.
- 4:35Speaker 1: And when Kanye comes out, everybody, I mean, everybody that's
- 4:39Speaker 1: got a piece of Chicago in them comes out. True.
- 4:42Speaker 1: So it was just, it was just a crazy, shout
- 4:44Speaker 1: out Ye, man, for turning the city up, man. Both shows,
- 4:46Speaker 1: I know people went to both nights and said both
- 4:49Speaker 1: nights was incredible. Who were some of the people you
- 4:51Speaker 1: saw out?
- 4:52Speaker 3: When I was out, 2 Chainz, T.I., King, Damani, Man Future, D-Ray,
- 5:03Speaker 3: Willie Doe, GLC, Bridget from Soleil. I mean, the list
- 5:09Speaker 3: goes on. I can just go bang. Shout out, man.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Shout out all of the DJs, man. It was just
- 5:16Speaker 3: one of them, one of them.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Them nights.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like Ye brought all the stars to
- 5:21Speaker 2: Chicago for that weekend. I mean, Young Thug, everybody. Popped
- 5:26Speaker 2: at Future, Your Goat, everybody.
- 5:28Speaker 1: I was sick when I saw that.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Yeah, popped out at their show. So, I mean, yeah.
- 5:33Speaker 1: It just shows the power of Ye.
- 5:35Speaker 3: 60,000? 60,000?
- 5:35Speaker 1: 65?
- 5:35Speaker 3: 65, 70,000?
- 5:35Speaker 1: Soldier Field.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Soldier Field is unfortunate the way it's located. And the
- 5:47Speaker 3: way you get to it. It's a bad concert venue.
- 5:50Speaker 3: It's just, but when you see it, but when you
- 5:52Speaker 3: in it, you happy.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Okay. Tell the truth.
- 5:55Speaker 2: You just got to go the day before. That's the
- 5:57Speaker 2: key to Soldier Field. You got to go load in
- 6:00Speaker 2: like you were the artist the day before, spend the night.
- 6:03Speaker 2: And you good once you in there. That's what I
- 6:05Speaker 2: did for Usher and Chris Brown. It was perfect.
- 6:07Speaker 4: What about when you leave and it takes three hours
- 6:09Speaker 4: just to leave?
- 6:10Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I don't need to do that. But, like,
- 6:12Speaker 2: if you're there early so you get the good park
- 6:15Speaker 2: and that first parking garage, you can get out of there.
- 6:18Speaker 1: You good.
- 6:19Speaker 2: But any other thing, you are parking at the museum
- 6:22Speaker 2: and walking three, four miles to Soldier Field. Then when
- 6:25Speaker 2: you get in Soldier Field, it's another two miles to
- 6:28Speaker 2: get to your seat.
- 6:29Speaker 1: It is. It's crazy. It is. I literally.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Uber to the South Loop, 18th and Indiana, 19th and
- 6:36Speaker 3: wherever that's at. And then I walk over the bridge,
- 6:39Speaker 3: walk all the way to the Soldier Field, then walk
- 6:42Speaker 3: to your seats and walk back. Now, before I had
- 6:45Speaker 3: this hip, that Soldier Field concert was.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Out of the question.
- 6:51Speaker 2: I'm telling you, it's ridiculous.
- 6:53Speaker 1: It's out of the question. Man, before we get into this,
- 6:57Speaker 1: Fat Joe, we got to send a congratulations to Going
- 7:01Speaker 1: out to Ciara and Russell Wilson. Russell Wilson would not
- 7:04Speaker 1: stay off his wife.
- 7:05Speaker 2: I don't blame him. I don't blame him. I'm so
- 7:07Speaker 2: happy for them. I was happy when I saw this
- 7:09Speaker 2: birth announcement. Like, I know them.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Right.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Like, I was like, we got a baby. Like, it's
- 7:15Speaker 2: just so much joy when you look at Russell and Ciara.
- 7:18Speaker 2: And if it's anybody that should be having children, it's them. Yeah. Mm-hmm.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Okay.
- 7:23Speaker 2: They are our cousins that we want to have kids.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Are they the best black couple? Are they number one?
- 7:28Speaker 2: They're one of them.
- 7:29Speaker 1: They got to be number one. I don't like to
- 7:30Speaker 1: put black couples against each other. Okay, so they're one
- 7:32Speaker 1: of the top.
- 7:33Speaker 4: They're one of the top black couples.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Yes, one of the top.
- 7:35Speaker 3: And any time that you see somebody keep having babies
- 7:38Speaker 3: under the same family, I like that.
- 7:40Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying?
- 7:41Speaker 3: Sometimes you hear people having babies, but they're having it
- 7:43Speaker 3: with a whole bunch of different people. And it's a
- 7:45Speaker 3: lot of different broken families. When you see it all
- 7:47Speaker 3: under one roof, it's beautiful.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Yes.
- 7:50Speaker 2: And Russell has been campaigning for baby number five for
- 7:52Speaker 2: a long time, baby Cinco. And so now I feel
- 7:55Speaker 2: like they got it. And isn't he retiring or something?
- 7:58Speaker 1: He's done. Yeah, he's done.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Yeah, so now, you know, he's home. This is another, like,
- 8:01Speaker 2: a second win for him to do it all over again.
- 8:04Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm excited for them. Like, I know them.
- 8:06Speaker 1: He's not at home. He's not at home right now.
- 8:08Speaker 1: I mean, he's working. Yeah, he's working. He's going to
- 8:10Speaker 1: be on CBS. And honestly, I think Russell is going
- 8:14Speaker 1: to probably be one of them guys that be on TV. Yeah, yeah.
- 8:17Speaker 1: All the time.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Well, that's different than being on the road for football
- 8:20Speaker 2: is what I'm saying.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, it's different. It's a lot different.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Shout out to him, man. Again, shout out. And like
- 8:26Speaker 1: I said, I was happy. When you start getting happy
- 8:29Speaker 1: for other people's happiness, like having kids, you know that
- 8:32Speaker 1: we all invested in their relationship. Yeah.
- 8:34Speaker 2: I'm like, Kiki, you don't know them people.
- 8:35Speaker 1: No, we don't know them. We don't know them. But
- 8:37Speaker 1: we happy, though. I'm like, man, that was dope. Y'all,
- 8:39Speaker 1: we should all have some kids. Come on.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Huh?
- 8:42Speaker 1: Dude. What? And they have debunked your theory. Hey, the
- 8:47Speaker 1: kids messed up a relay. They got five of them.
- 8:49Speaker 1: They locked in.
- 8:50Speaker 4: Well, they have debunked your theory, too, that all athletes cheat.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Well, no. Yeah. They defy all odds. They're amazing. I'd
- 9:00Speaker 1: go off the... Okay, me too. Yeah, the averages. Yeah,
- 9:06Speaker 1: I just was trolling you. Okay.
- 9:08Speaker 2: But that don't mean y'all need to go have some kids.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Why not? That's just not what that means. You see,
- 9:13Speaker 2: they married. been married together under a roof.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:18Speaker 2: He's an NFL player with a beautiful life and check
- 9:21Speaker 2: and she's a superstar. So yes, they should have kids.
- 9:24Speaker 2: This is, this is a problem with y'all. Y'all see
- 9:27Speaker 2: somebody do something that y'all think y'all supposed to do it. No,
- 9:29Speaker 2: we don't need to go have no kid. You need
- 9:30Speaker 2: to be at work on time. That's it.
- 9:32Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, no. Trust me. You ain't talking
- 9:35Speaker 1: to nobody by talking to that side of the table.
- 9:38Speaker 1: And I'm not having a baby too. I'm not having
- 9:40Speaker 1: no kids unless I met. Now I get married. And
- 9:43Speaker 1: my wife does not have kids. I will have a child.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Okay. You were ready for a little bit.
- 9:50Speaker 1: He was just ready for love. I am. The next
- 9:52Speaker 1: girlfriend I have will 100% be my wife. That is
- 9:53Speaker 1: a fact.
- 10:00Speaker 2: He just won't have no girlfriend.
- 10:02Speaker 1: I just don't have no girlfriend right now.
- 10:04Speaker 2: He won't have no girlfriend ever.
- 10:06Speaker 1: I do. I do.
- 10:08Speaker 3: They just fall apart in the vetting out period. Sometimes
- 10:11Speaker 3: things just don't, they're not meant to match.
- 10:14Speaker 2: You're going to have friend girls.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Yes. Not girlfriends. Friend girls. We're just trying to see
- 10:18Speaker 1: how things going. Tone, it's been eight years. I mean,
- 10:21Speaker 1: but you never know. Look, when I was rushing into it, hmm. Oh,
- 10:25Speaker 1: my God. I can tell you the other side of that.
- 10:28Speaker 3: You rush into that girlfriend stuff, you know. You know
- 10:31Speaker 3: what I mean? You end up on papers.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Anyway, let's go ahead. Man, Fat Joe said some interesting
- 10:38Speaker 1: things that black people across the world say. are talking about,
- 10:43Speaker 1: let's get to Fat Joe's comment. I'll let y'all hear it,
- 10:47Speaker 1: and then I definitely want to hear what y'all got
- 10:49Speaker 1: to say, especially HBCU Zach. Let's take a listen.
- 10:53Speaker 3: We have these people who are now saying you can't
- 10:56Speaker 3: say things, you can't represent hip-hop.
- 10:58Speaker 1: What's the question? Do you feel like there was any
- 11:00Speaker 1: point where you were wrong in what you represented? Are
- 11:03Speaker 1: you crazy?
- 11:04Speaker 5: I grew up in hip-hop where they invented hip-hop. I
- 11:07Speaker 5: grew up with Melly Mel right outside the window playing basketball.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Ruby D first. Why do I got to keep explaining
- 11:13Speaker 1: this to these?
- 11:14Speaker 5: I'm there from hip-hop. And especially where you grew up
- 11:17Speaker 5: in Ho Avenue. You had a little couple more Puerto
- 11:20Speaker 5: Ricans than me.
- 11:22Speaker 1: I grew up in black. I want you to know this, right?
- 11:26Speaker 5: Because I heard when that was going on, you said, yo.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Fat Joe ain't black. No, I am black. Fat Joe
- 11:31Speaker 1: is the blackest you ever seen in your life. Go
- 11:36Speaker 1: look it up. I ain't mad at Fat Joe for
- 11:41Speaker 1: standing on him, but Fat Joe got a little too
- 11:44Speaker 1: much dip on his chip, like Kiki would say. But HBCU, Zach,
- 11:48Speaker 1: we would like to hear from you first. Mm-hmm. When
- 11:52Speaker 1: you hear that from Gary, Indiana, which is black as hell.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Then you turned around and left Gary, Indiana and went
- 12:00Speaker 1: to Tennessee State, which is black as hell. I only
- 12:05Speaker 1: worked for black stations my whole entire life.
- 12:07Speaker 4: So that's all I really know.
- 12:09Speaker 2: What's that got to do with the price of tea
- 12:11Speaker 2: in China?
- 12:12Speaker 3: No, but I'm just saying my environment has always been
- 12:16Speaker 3: black people.
- 12:17Speaker 1: My whole entire life. That's what I'm saying. It ain't no.
- 12:19Speaker 3: I ain't saying you less black if you work somewhere else.
- 12:21Speaker 3: I'm just saying my co-workers have... You felt the shade.
- 12:25Speaker 1: I felt the shade. No, I promise you one thing
- 12:27Speaker 1: about that. I always say that, though.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Why would you even say that? You know what I'm saying? No,
- 12:30Speaker 2: because I've.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Only worked with... He gave you shade, Kiki, because you
- 12:34Speaker 1: work with the people.
- 12:35Speaker 2: I heard it. I felt it.
- 12:37Speaker 1: You get up in the morning with the whites. Yes,
- 12:40Speaker 1: I do. And you have a great show. You're across
- 12:42Speaker 1: the country with the whites. And he, on the other
- 12:44Speaker 1: side of the table, is disrespecting you. That was not
- 12:47Speaker 1: my intention. Kiki, I was not trying to do that.
- 12:50Speaker 3: All I was saying is that, look, I have been,
- 12:53Speaker 3: my whole life has been nothing but black culture.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Okay.
- 12:56Speaker 3: That's the only thing that I can speak on. And
- 12:58Speaker 3: one thing I can say is being around black people,
- 13:01Speaker 3: I don't care if you've been around them from inception,
- 13:03Speaker 3: does not make you black.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Okay. Because guess what?
- 13:07Speaker 3: When you go and you teach your kids, are you
- 13:09Speaker 3: teaching your kids about Nelson Mandela? Are you teaching your
- 13:12Speaker 3: kids about Muhammad Ali? Are you teaching your kids? Who
- 13:14Speaker 3: are the heroes in your house? Hmm. Is it black people?
- 13:19Speaker 3: Where does the history start?
- 13:20Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying?
- 13:21Speaker 3: What are you teaching them? What type of what type
- 13:23Speaker 3: of churches are they going to? What type of schools
- 13:24Speaker 3: are they going to? What type of world do they
- 13:27Speaker 3: have to be subjected to? Because guess what? My son
- 13:32Speaker 3: going to be a black boy no matter what, no
- 13:34Speaker 3: matter where I send them.
- 13:35Speaker 1: They don't see a black boy.
- 13:37Speaker 3: And if you send somebody and you look like something else,
- 13:39Speaker 3: that's a different situation. It's a different situation. You can
- 13:43Speaker 3: be around black all you want. That don't make you black.
- 13:46Speaker 3: And my issue is just because you've been around the
- 13:48Speaker 3: culture and if somebody's offended by you using certain words,
- 13:51Speaker 3: then I think you should just accept that.
- 13:54Speaker 1: I'm sorry. That's how I feel. Yeah.
- 13:57Speaker 3: I got so much to say on this. Go ahead.
- 14:01Speaker 3: I want to end it.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Okay.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Well, I looked up his age and Jafadjo is 56
- 14:08Speaker 2: years old. So he ain't changing. You know what I'm saying?
- 14:12Speaker 2: He ain't changing. Ain't nothing you can tell him. You know,
- 14:15Speaker 2: his first response was, I grew up and I created
- 14:19Speaker 2: and I was there. Sound like somebody I know.
- 14:23Speaker 1: I was there. We do tend to say stuff like that.
- 14:28Speaker 1: I'm not 56, though.
- 14:30Speaker 2: You are not. You are not. But I'm just saying,
- 14:33Speaker 2: at a certain age, baby, we could talk about Fat
- 14:36Speaker 2: Joe until we are blue in the face. He does
- 14:38Speaker 2: not care. He's not changing it. And I feel like
- 14:41Speaker 2: we have this argument with him every six months, you know,
- 14:44Speaker 2: right before Black History Month come up, we get to
- 14:46Speaker 2: argue with Fat Joe about, listen, people are who they are.
- 14:49Speaker 2: And unfortunately, that's his perspective and that's his thoughts. I
- 14:55Speaker 2: don't agree with it. And furthermore, to sit in front
- 14:59Speaker 2: of black men and say you are the blackest N-word
- 15:03Speaker 2: in the room, that's very uncomfortable for me. Mm-hmm.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Right.
- 15:08Speaker 2: And I know for the sake of being professional and
- 15:10Speaker 2: for the sake of respecting your guests, sometimes you let
- 15:13Speaker 2: stuff slide that maybe we shouldn't slide. But this is
- 15:16Speaker 2: why we having this issue with him because he's so
- 15:19Speaker 2: comfortable that he would say something like that to their face.
- 15:23Speaker 2: So that's why I really had the issue with it.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Do I agree with it? Absolutely not. But I also
- 15:28Speaker 2: know that at his age, he's not changing. So it's like,
- 15:30Speaker 2: I'm not gonna keep arguing with you and saying the
- 15:32Speaker 2: same thing. Now, what people can decide is if they
- 15:34Speaker 2: want to support him from this point on. I... We
- 15:38Speaker 2: all have a loving, I can't say we all, but
- 15:40Speaker 2: I know I, as a fan, have a loving respect
- 15:42Speaker 2: for Fat Joe. So it hurts my feelings every time
- 15:45Speaker 2: we had this fight with him. I would just rather
- 15:47Speaker 2: not have the fight no more, but let him know
- 15:50Speaker 2: where we stand and how we feel about it. And
- 15:52Speaker 2: then understand and accept that's just, that's what it is
- 15:55Speaker 2: with him. He's not changing. He's not.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I would.
- 16:01Speaker 4: Just much rather him come from the perspective of I'm
- 16:03Speaker 4: a brown.
- 16:05Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying?
- 16:06Speaker 3: And being brown, I've seen, I've been up close with
- 16:09Speaker 3: black struggles and I relate to those different things.
- 16:11Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying? And I've been there in
- 16:13Speaker 4: the fight with my black brothers and sisters.
- 16:15Speaker 3: I would much rather you take that perspective than tell
- 16:17Speaker 3: people that you the blackest in the room.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Like, be an ally.
- 16:22Speaker 3: Be like, I get it and I support that and
- 16:24Speaker 3: I've been there and I've done this.
- 16:25Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? But you not black.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 16:31Speaker 1: And I love Fat Joe. Like, this is the thing.
- 16:33Speaker 1: I've had none but great interactions with Fat Joe. Every time, like,
- 16:36Speaker 1: I'm talking about, he'll see me, he'll be like, oh,
- 16:38Speaker 1: they go, man, I rock with Fat Joe. But, hey,
- 16:40Speaker 1: Fat Joe, we do this, we differ on this opinion.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Me and you are the same complexion, and I'm way
- 16:47Speaker 1: blacker than you. Why am I way blacker than you?
- 16:50Speaker 1: It's because my grandma way blacker than yours. Because my
- 16:53Speaker 1: daddy way blacker than yours. Because my uncles, my cousins.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Everybody from my sharecropping-ass great-grandfather, who I knew very personally,
- 17:03Speaker 3: that was blacker than your parents and your great-grandparents.
- 17:07Speaker 1: It's not about where you grow up from. It's not
- 17:10Speaker 1: about who you around.
- 17:12Speaker 3: It's not because you can rap really, really good and.
- 17:16Speaker 1: You know how to be clever with the N-word. We
- 17:19Speaker 1: have a right as black people to say we're not
- 17:21Speaker 1: comfortable with it.
- 17:22Speaker 3: But we have said, hey, man, we gave you a pass. Yes,
- 17:25Speaker 3: black people gave you a pass because of where you
- 17:27Speaker 3: grew up at. And we knew that you weren't saying
- 17:29Speaker 3: it in a bad way. I've said on this podcast
- 17:32Speaker 3: and in a video that I did by myself that
- 17:35Speaker 3: it's uncomfortable out of music when you call people dusty N-words.
- 17:39Speaker 3: When you do that, when we in conversation mode, that
- 17:42Speaker 3: feels weird. That feels weird. And it's the craziest thing. Again,
- 17:46Speaker 3: I was looking at it. And I can't get out.
- 17:49Speaker 3: And I'm a Joe Budden podcast fan.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:53Speaker 3: I couldn't believe they let him get that off. I'm
- 17:55Speaker 3: the realest in the room. Ain't nobody the realest. Imagine
- 18:01Speaker 3: if the roles was reversed and Joe Budden, you was
- 18:03Speaker 3: on a couch sitting with a whole Puerto Rican cast
- 18:07Speaker 3: and you said you're the realest Puerto Rican in here
- 18:09Speaker 3: because you grew up in Puerto Rico. and you a
- 18:11Speaker 3: black man, they'll look at you like you crazy. They'll
- 18:15Speaker 3: look like you crazy. Hispanics have some of that.
- 18:17Speaker 1: They are staunch about their culture. They don't play about
- 18:21Speaker 1: their culture.
- 18:22Speaker 3: I got too many Hispanic homies that do not play
- 18:26Speaker 3: about being Puerto Rican, being Mexican, being Honduran, whatever they are,
- 18:31Speaker 3: they are in it. And it just because you grew
- 18:34Speaker 3: up around them doesn't mean you one of them. It
- 18:36Speaker 3: means that you appreciate the culture and that. And it's
- 18:39Speaker 3: so funny. People are so flip with black people. They
- 18:42Speaker 3: could tell us, Hey man, I'm the realest and you
- 18:44Speaker 3: supposed to accept it. You tell us, you call, you
- 18:46Speaker 3: say the N word. We supposed to accept it. That's
- 18:48Speaker 3: not okay, bro. It just ain't okay. And I, and
- 18:51Speaker 3: I still rock with you. I still rock with you.
- 18:53Speaker 3: But I think, I think you just, you stepped out
- 18:56Speaker 3: of bounds. And it's just because you can rap good, really,
- 19:01Speaker 3: to be honest with you.
- 19:03Speaker 1: To be honest with you.
- 19:04Speaker 3: And it's because you cool and because you came from
- 19:06Speaker 3: where you came from.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Just don't do it, dog. Yeah. Just don't do it.
- 19:13Speaker 2: I hate it. At his point in his career, like,
- 19:16Speaker 2: he's willing to stand ten toes behind this. Because it's
- 19:19Speaker 2: something so easy to just be like, oh, all right, y'all,
- 19:22Speaker 2: I got you. You know, like, whatever, my bad, or whatever.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Just move on or not use it or whatever. You know,
- 19:27Speaker 2: like it's such a simple thing that he could just
- 19:30Speaker 2: really let go of. And I would hate to see
- 19:32Speaker 2: him die on this hill. You know, like your legacy
- 19:35Speaker 2: at this point is going to be we love Fat Joe,
- 19:37Speaker 2: but he don't respect black people because he told them that,
- 19:40Speaker 2: you know, like I don't want that for him.
- 19:41Speaker 3: And if you look at one of his best friends,
- 19:43Speaker 3: one of his colleagues, DJ Khaled, used to say the
- 19:45Speaker 3: N-word all the time. People got on DJ Khaled ass.
- 19:48Speaker 1: DJ Khaled said, my bad. And stopped.
- 19:51Speaker 3: And it wasn't a big deal. Like, we didn't stop
- 19:54Speaker 3: listening to the music. We didn't think that he's less
- 19:56Speaker 3: down with the culture or with people. It's just like, oh,
- 19:59Speaker 3: out of respect for actual black people, I'm not. And
- 20:01Speaker 3: stop equating, and this is HBCU's act, stop equating struggle
- 20:05Speaker 3: in the hood with black People think just because you
- 20:09Speaker 3: grew up in the hood, you're automatically black. What if
- 20:11Speaker 3: I grew up in the suburbs and I'm black as hell?
- 20:13Speaker 1: I'm still blacker than you. I still did. It doesn't matter.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Stop that. It don't matter. That don't matter.
- 20:20Speaker 3: It don't matter. Knock that off. I don't care if
- 20:22Speaker 3: I'm black as hell and I grew up around all
- 20:24Speaker 3: white people. You still blacker than the person who's not
- 20:28Speaker 3: black that grew up around all black people. Ain't none
- 20:31Speaker 3: of your family members, none, not one of your family,
- 20:34Speaker 3: not one, bro, ever had to not rock their natural hair.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Because it was, quote, unquote, too black. You know what
- 20:43Speaker 1: I'm saying?
- 20:44Speaker 3: Black folks straighten their hair just so they can be
- 20:47Speaker 3: accepted in white culture.
- 20:49Speaker 1: They press their hair out. I mean, within the last
- 20:53Speaker 1: maybe 10, I'll go 15 years, let's just say 15 years,
- 20:57Speaker 1: that black women are now comfortable in the workplace being
- 21:00Speaker 1: able to wear their natural hair, wear locks, puffs. Black
- 21:04Speaker 1: men are able to have have jobs and be.
- 21:07Speaker 3: CEOs with cornrows or anything that has to do with
- 21:12Speaker 3: braids or anything that has to do with black culture
- 21:15Speaker 3: because before, if we didn't conform to white culture, then
- 21:18Speaker 3: we were left out of it.
- 21:20Speaker 1: So it's a lot of things outside of where you
- 21:23Speaker 1: lived at that makes you black again. You just can't.
- 21:27Speaker 1: It's just a difference. Like I said, man, like, simple
- 21:30Speaker 1: fact is... I'm more black than you because of my
- 21:34Speaker 1: ancestors are more black than yours. And that's just a fact.
- 21:38Speaker 1: That's a fact.
- 21:39Speaker 2: I like a little N-word in my music.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Yeah, but I wasn't mad at it.
- 21:46Speaker 3: It's just like, from a person, I get mad.
- 21:50Speaker 1: I'm glad you're breaking this up because I get mad.
- 21:52Speaker 1: I'm just trying to bring it to it.
- 21:54Speaker 2: That's all.
- 21:55Speaker 1: No, no, you're supposed to because I was really, because
- 21:58Speaker 1: as a fan of Fat Joe, I was hurt by that. Yeah.
- 22:02Speaker 1: To see that. I was like, oh, man, come on, G.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Come on, man.
- 22:05Speaker 2: It's something so easy to resolve and fix and move
- 22:08Speaker 2: on from. But, you know, that's that stubbornness of, you know,
- 22:12Speaker 2: I cannot be corrected. And unfortunately, we all can stand correction.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Yeah, we can. We can all step in it. Of
- 22:18Speaker 1: course we can. DeAndra Sanders calls out Jacquees over co-parenting
- 22:23Speaker 1: issues and shares alleged text messages. Eh, wah-wah. Whoop-dee-doo. People
- 22:30Speaker 1: got baby mama and baby daddy problems every day. They got,
- 22:33Speaker 1: you know, I tell you, if a person has had it,
- 22:36Speaker 1: I got experience with it, y'all. Y'all got about five
- 22:38Speaker 1: more years of this. Strong five. Mm-hmm. Then it'll calm down.
- 22:43Speaker 1: It never goes away, but it'll calm down. Yeah.
- 22:46Speaker 3: It's called first child problems. When y'all miss both y'all
- 22:50Speaker 3: first child, y'all not together no more, y'all gonna fight
- 22:52Speaker 3: over the stupidest thing.
- 22:53Speaker 1: The baby crying.
- 22:54Speaker 2: I need to see the baby.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Baby, let me, let me. Can I be the daddy?
- 23:00Speaker 1: Every time I see you, we cry.
- 23:01Speaker 4: That's little stuff that happens. Let that go, man.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Yeah. That's all that was. That's all it is.
- 23:06Speaker 3: That's why everybody trying to make a big deal about this.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Zach is on about two, you got about two, three
- 23:11Speaker 3: more years of it, big dog.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Who? You know.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Zach's in the high getting this.
- 23:16Speaker 1: I'm going to tell y'all something.
- 23:19Speaker 3: You can always, I'm going to tell you, and I
- 23:21Speaker 3: hate to say it, but you can always Brian McKnight it. Sometimes,
- 23:28Speaker 3: sometimes you got to pull a McKnight.
- 23:32Speaker 2: No, you don't.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Every now and then you pull a McKnight.
- 23:36Speaker 4: For those who don't know, Brian McKnight went and got
- 23:38Speaker 4: him a new family.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Because guess what? That old one was getting on his
- 23:41Speaker 1: goddamn nerves. Got him a whole new family.
- 23:45Speaker 4: And I don't think we celebrate Brian McKnight enough.
- 23:47Speaker 3: Celebrate?
- 23:48Speaker 1: Yeah, we don't celebrate Brian McKnight enough. Sometimes you got
- 23:51Speaker 1: to pull a Brian McKnight.
- 23:53Speaker 3: Brian McKnight?
- 23:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I pull a McKnight.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Girl, I'll McKnight your ass. Oh, my God.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Jacquees, please don't listen to him.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Jacquees.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Do not listen to Zach.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Pull a McKnight. Keep playing with it.
- 24:05Speaker 3: I'll have a junior and a whole new wife, a
- 24:07Speaker 3: whole new family on your way.
- 24:09Speaker 1: I'll pull a McKnight.
- 24:14Speaker 2: I am so weak.
- 24:16Speaker 1: What's wrong with that?
- 24:18Speaker 2: You ain't wrong, girl.
- 24:19Speaker 1: That was a man. That was a man. You been
- 24:21Speaker 1: fighting all this. I'm finna keep going back and forth
- 24:23Speaker 1: with you. I'll pull a McKnight.
- 24:24Speaker 2: I'm not arguing with you.
- 24:25Speaker 1: I ain't arguing with you. Got me a new. I
- 24:28Speaker 1: got me a whole new situation.
- 24:29Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 24:29Speaker 1: I got a new kid. I can make another one.
- 24:32Speaker 3: I got a new wife. I got a new name.
- 24:34Speaker 3: I got Brian McKnight got a new junior. He had
- 24:38Speaker 3: a junior and got another one.
- 24:39Speaker 1: No, he don't. Sway did. Yes, he did. No, he didn't.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Yes, he did. It's another RBC that did it, too,
- 24:44Speaker 2: but I'm getting mad at this.
- 24:46Speaker 1: He got two juniors? Brian McKnight was so done. It
- 24:50Speaker 1: is not two juniors. He can't do that. Was he
- 24:54Speaker 1: so done?
- 24:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:55Speaker 1: He was so done, he said, F that. He went
- 24:58Speaker 1: and got him a new wife.
- 24:59Speaker 2: He renamed a new kid.
- 25:00Speaker 1: And got him a new baby and made that the junior,
- 25:03Speaker 1: even though he had a junior already. He got a junior?
- 25:07Speaker 1: Full of Magnite. Sometimes you got to.
- 25:09Speaker 3: Now, you just said we don't celebrate him enough.
- 25:11Speaker 1: We don't celebrate him enough. He's crazy for that. We don't.
- 25:13Speaker 2: He is insane for that.
- 25:14Speaker 1: We don't. That's freedom.
- 25:16Speaker 2: If I was a man.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Have you heard his new wife complaining about him? They happy.
- 25:22Speaker 3: Now, I have said this. I have said that. I
- 25:26Speaker 3: have said that. Brian McKnight got so mad. Everybody was
- 25:31Speaker 3: doing that whole thing. I said, we don't know why
- 25:33Speaker 3: he did it. We ain't never, Rhyme and I ain't
- 25:35Speaker 3: really never talked about why I did it. I didn't
- 25:37Speaker 3: know about the other junior. That's diabolical. You hated the
- 25:42Speaker 3: first family.
- 25:45Speaker 2: That ain't cool though, Zach. You cannot make, you can't
- 25:48Speaker 2: let your baby mama make you hate your kids.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Hey, sometimes they look. No, no, no.
- 25:53Speaker 3: Sometimes the baby mama has poisoned the child so much
- 25:57Speaker 3: that the child is no coming back from that.
- 25:59Speaker 4: So you just say to him, I'm not saying I
- 26:01Speaker 4: could do it.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Okay.
- 26:02Speaker 4: But I respect a man who got the balls.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Like 50 Cent.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I know 50 did that too.
- 26:08Speaker 1: To be like, hey, you know what? I'm done. 50
- 26:11Speaker 1: did it bad in a way, but all I can
- 26:13Speaker 1: say is. I don't agree with it, but I kind
- 26:16Speaker 1: of understand.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Sounds like y'all agree with it.
- 26:22Speaker 1: I understand where it's coming from. Like, I don't understand
- 26:25Speaker 1: the 50 thing. Like, I mean, 50, I kind of
- 26:30Speaker 1: get it.
- 26:30Speaker 2: He hates that first baby mama so bad.
- 26:32Speaker 1: But 50 didn't redo it.
- 26:33Speaker 3: See, the thing that makes Brian McKnight unique is he
- 26:36Speaker 3: got remarried and started a new family.
- 26:39Speaker 1: As if. The old family never existed. Yes. Sometimes you
- 26:42Speaker 1: got to clear your whole memory.
- 26:44Speaker 2: No.
- 26:45Speaker 3: Because I am sick of you. And I couldn't do it.
- 26:47Speaker 3: But I was like, I get why you did it.
- 26:50Speaker 3: And I respect it, brother.
- 26:51Speaker 1: That is crazy. Celebrate Brian McKnight.
- 26:53Speaker 2: No, we're not.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Oh, wow. That's crazy. That is hilarious. All right. We
- 26:58Speaker 1: got to pull a McKnight. Pull a McKnight. Pull a McKnight.
- 27:01Speaker 1: We done made another one. We got to pull a McKnight.
- 27:04Speaker 1: We got to pull a McKnight. PNP Thomas shared.
- 27:08Speaker 3: His first post since his recent hospitalization after suffering from
- 27:12Speaker 3: a heart attack. Man, again, this goes out to the
- 27:16Speaker 3: fellas that are in their 50s. You cannot, I repeat,
- 27:20Speaker 3: cannot keep doing everything that you did in your 40s,
- 27:24Speaker 3: in your 30s, in your 20s.
- 27:26Speaker 1: You will die.
- 27:28Speaker 3: And that, I mean, and it's a, I think that's
- 27:32Speaker 3: the only way, that's the only way that really talk
- 27:36Speaker 3: to dudes.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Women, y'all get anything. You're like, ooh, my shoulder hurt.
- 27:41Speaker 1: I'm gone. I'm going to the doctor. Something don't feel right.
- 27:43Speaker 1: I've been busy a couple days. I'm going to the hospital. Guys,
- 27:47Speaker 1: we like, we not paying attention to no signs until
- 27:50Speaker 1: something like this happens. And God bless Pete being okay.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Yeah, man. They said he had that.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Mm-hmm. It doesn't work out well.
- 28:00Speaker 3: I mean, when you see nine times out of ten,
- 28:03Speaker 3: when you see people pass out, especially dudes that are
- 28:07Speaker 3: in their late 40s, it can happen in their 30s,
- 28:10Speaker 3: but you see in late 40s, 50s, and they just,
- 28:13Speaker 3: you're like, man, such and such just fell out dead.
- 28:15Speaker 3: Most of the time we hear about.
- 28:16Speaker 1: It, it's got to do with the heart.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Because it's high blood pressure. Maybe don't know untreated diabetes.
- 28:25Speaker 2: I would have popped on y'all timeline like, I'm still alive.
- 28:29Speaker 4: I'm still alive.
- 28:30Speaker 2: They really tried to kill him, though. That's crazy.
- 28:34Speaker 1: I mean, Kiki, that's... I'm not going to let y'all
- 28:38Speaker 1: joke on this.
- 28:39Speaker 4: That is, you shouldn't be joking about that.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Y'all just said men should disown their children.
- 28:44Speaker 1: And pull a magnite.
- 28:45Speaker 2: And y'all want to police what I'm laughing at over here?
- 28:47Speaker 1: Pull a magnite.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Please, go on somewhere.
- 28:49Speaker 1: We talking about death. Y'all ain't right. Death and a magnite.
- 28:54Speaker 1: It's totally different things. We're trying to have a public
- 28:58Speaker 1: service announcement.
- 28:59Speaker 3: Huh?
- 28:59Speaker 2: Oh, you worried. My bad.
- 29:01Speaker 1: We're never buying that.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Go get y'all checkups, Obsidian or MedSpa. my girl to
- 29:07Speaker 2: get y'all right she do her lab work.
- 29:08Speaker 3: She got the vitamins if y'all don't go to a
- 29:10Speaker 3: doctor and get y'all some lab work she is I
- 29:13Speaker 3: love obsidian but make sure y'all get everything but once
- 29:17Speaker 3: you go to your doctor Keisha can tailor a plan
- 29:21Speaker 3: for you to keep you healthy.
- 29:22Speaker 2: She's a nurse practitioner why you explaining to him okay
- 29:24Speaker 2: my bad we don't care what he think he probably
- 29:26Speaker 2: been to a doctor all year I'm still alive.
- 29:29Speaker 1: I'm still alive. He don't know.
- 29:32Speaker 2: What's going on. He be at the same itch all
- 29:34Speaker 2: year and ain't been to no doctor. Don't listen to him.
- 29:39Speaker 1: All right. This dude looks like he won't be doing
- 29:42Speaker 1: any driving. Tiger Woods license has been suspended for five
- 29:46Speaker 1: years after striking a plea deal in his DUI case.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Now he pleaded guilty to reckless driving and refusal to
- 29:52Speaker 1: submit to a lawful test in Martin County Circuit Court
- 29:56Speaker 1: in Florida. Well, Florida politics has worked in Tiger Woods' favor.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Tiger needs to get a driver. Yeah. How many kids
- 30:05Speaker 1: he got? Two?
- 30:06Speaker 3: I don't know how many he got. I know he's
- 30:08Speaker 3: got that son that plays golf, though. Got to be
- 30:10Speaker 3: around for him. And he has definitely got the favor
- 30:13Speaker 3: of God on him because he done flipped. Tiger Woods
- 30:16Speaker 3: done flipped everything. He done flipped so many cars.
- 30:18Speaker 2: Tiger got the favor of white people on his side.
- 30:20Speaker 2: That's why he keep getting out of trouble.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Yeah, but I mean, I mean, he done flipped everything.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Every car he done had.
- 30:27Speaker 2: I know.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Flipping a car is crazy.
- 30:29Speaker 2: He told them people he was on the phone with Trump. Like,
- 30:33Speaker 2: he got it. Tyga ain't worried about nothing. Yeah. He good.
- 30:36Speaker 2: He drunk right now.
- 30:37Speaker 4: You can get as tall up as you want in
- 30:38Speaker 4: the back of that car with somebody else driving.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Yeah. That's fair. That's fair. All right, man. According to reports,
- 30:45Speaker 1: Fulton County DA declines to prosecute Big Tigger in a
- 30:48Speaker 1: situation with his wife. The charges included aggravated battery and
- 30:52Speaker 1: cruelty to children, which I hated. That was ridiculous. Yeah. Kiki?
- 31:01Speaker 2: I'm happy to hit us for Tigger. Yeah.
- 31:04Speaker 1: To win for Tigger.
- 31:06Speaker 2: I hope he makes better, wiser decisions when choosing his
- 31:09Speaker 2: next partner.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Yeah. Tigger, it's time to pull a Magnite. Yeah.
- 31:16Speaker 4: Now that you done got out the legal, pull a magnite.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Leave.
- 31:19Speaker 3: But this also goes to what we were saying earlier
- 31:21Speaker 3: in the pod, just a few moments ago. What?
- 31:25Speaker 1: Be cautious about who you make your girlfriend. Be cautious.
- 31:28Speaker 1: You got to vet them out.
- 31:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:30Speaker 1: You got to vet them out.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Especially when you have a lot to lose. Like some
- 31:34Speaker 2: of y'all don't have nothing to lose. It wouldn't matter
- 31:36Speaker 2: who you date. But for those who got something to lose,
- 31:40Speaker 2: if you got something to lose, you got a 20-year
- 31:42Speaker 2: career behind you, you need to make the wisest decision.
- 31:47Speaker 2: when it comes to partners and having children and things
- 31:49Speaker 2: like that.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Got to vet them out. It's okay if y'all don't match.
- 31:54Speaker 1: It's okay. And it don't mean she bad, don't mean
- 31:57Speaker 1: you bad. It just means that y'all just don't match.
- 32:00Speaker 2: It's okay. That's it.
- 32:01Speaker 3: That's a fair one. Shout out to Big Ticket. All right,
- 32:04Speaker 3: the NFL returns tomorrow, Wednesday. That's right.
- 32:07Speaker 1: And we are happy about it.
- 32:10Speaker 4: I feel so good about football being back.
- 32:13Speaker 1: It's been great. It's been great.
- 32:15Speaker 2: How are bears looking?
- 32:17Speaker 1: Offensively, we're going to be a monster. Defensively?
- 32:21Speaker 2: Really?
- 32:22Speaker 1: I don't know how we're going to look defensively. I'm
- 32:24Speaker 1: a little worried. I'm worried defensively. I ain't going to
- 32:26Speaker 1: lie to you.
- 32:26Speaker 3: I'm not. We sent a blitz during the preseason. Quarterback
- 32:30Speaker 3: had 30 seconds to pass them up.
- 32:32Speaker 1: We sent everybody. I said, this ain't looking good. We're
- 32:35Speaker 1: going to be.
- 32:36Speaker 4: Defensively, I'm worried. Offensively, we're going to score 50 points.
- 32:39Speaker 4: We can put 50 on you.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Okay.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Yeah, we're going to hang a lot of points on you.
- 32:42Speaker 1: This is going to be exciting.
- 32:43Speaker 3: The Bears fans, people that are true Bears fans have
- 32:45Speaker 3: never seen this many touchdowns that we're about to get.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Ever. Ever in life. Ever in life.
- 32:51Speaker 2: Okay.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Ever.
- 32:51Speaker 2: I'm happy I learned football.
- 32:53Speaker 1: No, ever.
- 32:54Speaker 3: We usually play slow, run the football, like pound football.
- 32:58Speaker 3: That's the type of culture that we have at Bears.
- 33:00Speaker 3: Now we got a whole, it's almost like we on
- 33:02Speaker 3: the West Coast. We got a West Coast type of offense.
- 33:04Speaker 1: We throwing it. We slinging. We going to be. Yeah.
- 33:06Speaker 1: It's going to be fun. It's going to be bears.
- 33:08Speaker 1: You're going to be a lot of, yeah. Like, it's
- 33:10Speaker 1: going to be a lot.
- 33:10Speaker 2: I got to get on the sidelines this year.
- 33:12Speaker 3: Okay.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Got to do it.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Okay. Yeah.
- 33:14Speaker 2: I want to be friends with the wags.
- 33:17Speaker 1: That makes sense. Woman and girlfriend.
- 33:19Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Wives and girlfriends. Yes, yes, yes, yes.
- 33:21Speaker 2: I want them to pick me up on the party bus,
- 33:23Speaker 2: and then I go to the game with them, and
- 33:24Speaker 2: we hang out.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Yeah, you could be like, you and Simone Biles looks
- 33:27Speaker 1: like y'all could be friends.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Yeah, we would have a great time. I like her.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Is my man still on the team?
- 33:31Speaker 3: No.
- 33:31Speaker 4: He ain't even on the team no more.
- 33:32Speaker 3: They moved.
- 33:33Speaker 1: No. Yeah. Yeah, he with the Colts. He would be
- 33:36Speaker 1: in Indiana. Well, okay.
- 33:38Speaker 2: There's a lot of other wags in Chicago.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Yes, there is.
- 33:41Speaker 2: Yeah, so if any of y'all watch the pod, call me, girl.
- 33:45Speaker 2: Let's hang out.
- 33:47Speaker 1: All right, man. We have to, according to Ryan, tell
- 33:50Speaker 1: everybody about Ask the Pod.
- 33:53Speaker 2: Well, shout out to the pod fam who has been
- 33:55Speaker 2: asking the pod.
- 33:56Speaker 1: What else did you say? You said give an example
- 33:58Speaker 1: to everyone. Okay. Okay.
- 34:03Speaker 3: You can ask me how old I am. I'm not
- 34:05Speaker 3: going to tell you. Here's another example. You got one, Zach?
- 34:10Speaker 1: Yes, you can ask me anything. I'm an open book.
- 34:13Speaker 4: I don't mind answering any question.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Will I tell you the truth? Probably not.
- 34:17Speaker 4: But you can ask whatever you want, and you'll get
- 34:19Speaker 4: an answer.
- 34:21Speaker 2: That truth going to be somewhere in there, somewhere in
- 34:24Speaker 2: the mix. Ask the Pie, guys, is really a way
- 34:28Speaker 2: that the Pie fam, we want to make you a
- 34:29Speaker 2: part of the show. So we always talk about y'all.
- 34:33Speaker 2: I read y'all comments from YouTube. But now we have
- 34:35Speaker 2: a show on the air and we want to put
- 34:37Speaker 2: your voices on the air. So listen on Sundays and
- 34:40Speaker 2: shout out to y'all who are already doing it. Thank you.
- 34:43Speaker 2: It's been great. And leave us a message so we
- 34:45Speaker 2: can put you in the show.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Do we want to tell them about the other thing
- 34:48Speaker 1: that we're doing? We're saving that.
- 34:51Speaker 2: I have no idea what the other thing is that
- 34:53Speaker 2: we're doing.
- 34:53Speaker 1: We just talked about it over Margarita Eclipse. Oh.
- 34:58Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. We could tell them we are hiring. As
- 35:02Speaker 2: you know, most of our staff.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Hold on, hold on. No, no, no, no.
- 35:05Speaker 2: Let me finish.
- 35:06Speaker 1: You got some dip on your chip.
- 35:07Speaker 2: We are hiring because most of the staff is on
- 35:10Speaker 2: a pip. And so submit your resumes to be a
- 35:16Speaker 2: part of the pod fam. We are looking for those
- 35:19Speaker 2: who would love to make clips, run pages for us.
- 35:23Speaker 2: It's a lot of opportunity here. So if you want
- 35:25Speaker 2: to be a real member of the pod fam, then
- 35:28Speaker 2: hit us up. We told them last episode we was
- 35:29Speaker 2: looking for a vice president of the pod. a treasurer,
- 35:32Speaker 2: a secretary, mayor of the pod. Like, all these positions
- 35:37Speaker 2: are open.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Yeah, open. And actually, we're just looking for clippers. So,
- 35:42Speaker 1: if you want to clip the pod on your own page,
- 35:46Speaker 1: and we need you to make clips. If they are
- 35:48Speaker 1: a bad clip of us, if you are talking crazy
- 35:51Speaker 1: or doing bad clips, we will report you. But I'm
- 35:55Speaker 1: talking about good, uplifting clips that are driving people to
- 35:58Speaker 1: the pod because we're increasing the pod fans. Right, Zach?
- 36:02Speaker 1: That's right, bro. Y'all some ball.
- 36:06Speaker 3: Now, listen, I don't know what's with Kiki talking about
- 36:08Speaker 3: we hiring.
- 36:11Speaker 1: We is.
- 36:11Speaker 3: But we are looking for people to just be a
- 36:13Speaker 3: part of the team, you know what I'm saying, and
- 36:14Speaker 3: support us.
- 36:15Speaker 4: Like y'all are already doing.
- 36:16Speaker 3: A lot of y'all are already supporting us and just
- 36:18Speaker 3: really doing that more publicly and more, you know, out loud.
- 36:22Speaker 1: That's pretty much it. That's exactly it. Well said. All right,
- 36:25Speaker 1: let's go ahead, man, and get to this question, Pie Fam.
- 36:28Speaker 1: When you travel out of town, do you unpack everything
- 36:30Speaker 1: in the hotel room, closet, drawers, et cetera, or do
- 36:34Speaker 1: you live out of the suitcase? This is going to
- 36:35Speaker 1: be an interesting question.
- 36:36Speaker 3: This is interesting because I've done both, and I don't
- 36:39Speaker 3: know who I am, like, sometimes. So let's say if
- 36:42Speaker 3: it's a quick trip, one or two days, I kind
- 36:44Speaker 3: of just stay in the suitcase. But then there has
- 36:47Speaker 3: been times where we've had, like, four or five-day trips,
- 36:49Speaker 3: and I don't want to be in that suitcase in
- 36:51Speaker 3: and out.
- 36:51Speaker 1: I kind of like using the drawers. Got to Lysol
- 36:54Speaker 1: them first.
- 36:55Speaker 3: But I still like to use the drool on longer trips.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Where are you getting this Lysol from?
- 37:00Speaker 4: I go to CVS. You know what I do, man,
- 37:02Speaker 4: every time I step down in a town.
- 37:04Speaker 1: My bad.
- 37:05Speaker 3: You got to go get you some Lysol. You got
- 37:06Speaker 3: to go get you something to drink. You know what
- 37:09Speaker 3: I'm saying?
- 37:10Speaker 1: Our birthday boy, Ryan, I just hipped him to the
- 37:12Speaker 1: CVS trip. You did? He didn't know.
- 37:15Speaker 3: It changed his life. It's a life changer, man. Because
- 37:18Speaker 3: a lot of people, you go straight to that bar.
- 37:20Speaker 3: We'll put you all on.
- 37:21Speaker 4: What y'all do is y'all go straight to that bar.
- 37:22Speaker 1: And you spend that bar price for you.
- 37:24Speaker 3: It's a Walgreens or a CVS around that hotel.
- 37:26Speaker 1: Bet.
- 37:27Speaker 4: And you go there and you get two bottles and
- 37:29Speaker 4: you drink off that.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Yes. That's what you do. Yes.
- 37:32Speaker 3: And you get you, you need, and this is another thing,
- 37:34Speaker 3: you need gummy bears. If you like gummy bears, so
- 37:37Speaker 3: you get you some gummy bears. You need mints because
- 37:39Speaker 3: you're going to be out late. Then you get you
- 37:41Speaker 3: a couple red bulls. If you're a coffee drinker, then whatever.
- 37:44Speaker 3: But if you like red bulls, you're going to be out.
- 37:46Speaker 3: You get you a couple red bulls for each day.
- 37:48Speaker 3: So either you're going to use it for the.
- 37:49Speaker 1: Start of the day or after you get up from
- 37:52Speaker 1: your grown person nap to finish out the night. And
- 37:54Speaker 1: then you get a bottle, a big thing of water
- 37:56Speaker 1: so you can hydrate when you wake up right away.
- 37:59Speaker 3: Basically, that little cart that be there that be trying
- 38:02Speaker 3: to charge you all that money for, create your own.
- 38:04Speaker 1: Exactly. That's really what you're doing. Exactly. Kiki, drawers, are
- 38:08Speaker 1: you a person that puts everything up in your hotel room?
- 38:11Speaker 2: Yes, I like to hang and lay out my outfits.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Wow.
- 38:14Speaker 2: And my wigs and what shoes gonna go with what outfit.
- 38:18Speaker 2: I like to lay it all out because it just
- 38:19Speaker 2: makes it easier when you get up and get dressed.
- 38:22Speaker 2: And I don't know if y'all know me on vacation.
- 38:25Speaker 2: I puts it on. And so, you know, when I
- 38:28Speaker 2: come back to Chicago for some reason, I can't dress
- 38:31Speaker 2: for nothing. But when I'm out of town, I put
- 38:34Speaker 2: everything together and I love just getting dressed, taking pictures.
- 38:37Speaker 2: So I need my stuff laid out for sure. Now,
- 38:40Speaker 2: all this other CVS talking, buying bottles for the room,
- 38:42Speaker 2: y'all too far gone for me.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Have you tried it?
- 38:47Speaker 2: In your room, you too far gone. Because you on vacay,
- 38:51Speaker 2: you should be going to have a cocktail here, cocktail there.
- 38:53Speaker 2: Y'all need four bottles. Something is wrong with y'all.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Have you tried it?
- 38:56Speaker 2: That ain't normal.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Have you tried it? No. It's very normal.
- 39:00Speaker 2: I have not tried it.
- 39:01Speaker 1: I don't plan to try it. I don't need that
- 39:03Speaker 1: much liquor. Because you go to bed at 930. When
- 39:06Speaker 1: you're outside, baby, you need a little liquor. What's the
- 39:09Speaker 1: box like?
- 39:09Speaker 3: She also has a thing called a fiance. She has
- 39:13Speaker 3: a husband who is bad.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Hey, look, Tim.
- 39:15Speaker 3: Get the bottle, make y'all some drinks in that room, man.
- 39:18Speaker 3: Them $ 20 drinks will get you, big dog.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Right, when you ain't paying.
- 39:21Speaker 2: My man don't drink.
- 39:22Speaker 1: I know it don't matter. Oh, you don't? No, he doesn't. Well,
- 39:24Speaker 1: he can make you a drink. I know he know
- 39:25Speaker 1: how to make one.
- 39:26Speaker 3: Ain't nothing like when you wake up with your lady.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Wake up you yeah you drinking when you wake.
- 39:33Speaker 1: Up yeah yeah are you on vacation.
- 39:36Speaker 3: No i'm talking about when you're on vacation with your
- 39:38Speaker 3: lady you wake up and you say you say hey
- 39:41Speaker 3: baby first of all.
- 39:42Speaker 1: You know i eat breakfast every time no he Now,
- 39:45Speaker 1: this is a wild dude. Now, this is one of
- 39:47Speaker 1: the most frugal dudes ever.
- 39:49Speaker 2: That's what this really is with him.
- 39:51Speaker 1: He?
- 39:51Speaker 5: Yes.
- 39:52Speaker 1: But you know what the dude does? You know what
- 39:54Speaker 1: he does?
- 39:55Speaker 2: Every time he bags me, he got to tip the
- 39:56Speaker 2: bar to the, he don't want to do that.
- 39:57Speaker 1: But this dude, this dude orders in-room dining. I don't.
- 40:02Speaker 2: In-room dining?
- 40:02Speaker 1: Yes.
- 40:03Speaker 2: No, he don't.
- 40:04Speaker 1: I do do room service every time.
- 40:06Speaker 2: You do?
- 40:07Speaker 1: Every time. It must be for work. No, it's because
- 40:09Speaker 1: to eat.
- 40:10Speaker 3: I like to eat a real breakfast in the morning.
- 40:13Speaker 3: Y'all can go out into this world hungry. I'm angry
- 40:16Speaker 3: when I'm hungry.
- 40:17Speaker 1: I'm irritable. I shake. It's a lot.
- 40:21Speaker 4: So if I can't, the thing I love about hotels,
- 40:23Speaker 4: you can wake up.
- 40:23Speaker 1: You hit that thing.
- 40:24Speaker 3: You'd be like, ooh, let me get the eggs, the this,
- 40:26Speaker 3: the that. You order your food. It comes straight to
- 40:28Speaker 3: your door while you get ready.
- 40:30Speaker 2: That's $ 100.
- 40:30Speaker 4: And then you pour yourself a drink.
- 40:33Speaker 1: That's a $ 100 breakfast. You spent $ 100 at the bar?
- 40:37Speaker 1: I spent a hundred at breakfast. What's the difference? I Uber,
- 40:40Speaker 1: eat my breakfast.
- 40:41Speaker 3: Hello.
- 40:41Speaker 1: Every time.
- 40:42Speaker 3: Okay.
- 40:43Speaker 2: I'm in that lobby, where's my food?
- 40:47Speaker 4: Y'all be over there warming up them waffles in that continent.
- 40:53Speaker 1: Them do be fine sometimes. Yes. I think I live
- 40:56Speaker 1: out of the suitcase most times. Really? Yeah, unless I have.
- 41:00Speaker 3: I know you pull all your shoes out. I pull out, yeah,
- 41:02Speaker 3: all the shoes got to come out. So the shoes
- 41:04Speaker 3: are lined up. Shoes are lined up. If I'm going somewhere,
- 41:07Speaker 3: I had to be formal.
- 41:08Speaker 1: Let's say suits. Anytime I got to wear suits, dress shirts,
- 41:12Speaker 1: those are hung up. Those are all hung up. And
- 41:14Speaker 1: I usually like to iron them ahead of time so
- 41:16Speaker 1: I could just go ahead and pop them right on.
- 41:19Speaker 1: But other than that, I have the suitcase.
- 41:20Speaker 3: And then I use the closet for dirty clothes because
- 41:24Speaker 3: I don't like to have the dirty clothes out. And
- 41:26Speaker 3: then I usually use the old CVS bag and put
- 41:29Speaker 3: my old underwear and socks and stuff in it.
- 41:31Speaker 1: And that's it. And put them in a.
- 41:34Speaker 2: But you.
- 41:35Speaker 1: Put your drawl. So you got to do that. You
- 41:37Speaker 1: got to do that because some clothes you don't wear.
- 41:39Speaker 1: You don't want your old stuff. Old type of stuff
- 41:41Speaker 1: you need doing it.
- 41:43Speaker 2: That's because he don't know how to go home. He
- 41:45Speaker 2: don't know how to get in the party.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Once my drawers start stinking, I need to be home.
- 41:49Speaker 2: He party all day.
- 41:50Speaker 1: Come up and party. My drawers stink. I need to go.
- 41:53Speaker 1: I'm not staying nowhere stinking.
- 41:56Speaker 2: He got to wrap them drawers. He come off the rooftop.
- 41:59Speaker 2: I'm going to miss anything.
- 42:01Speaker 1: I know. You got some sweaty dads. You got to
- 42:04Speaker 1: put them boys away.
- 42:05Speaker 3: No, I'll stop anything. I remember one homecoming, my boys,
- 42:09Speaker 3: we went somewhere. We started early. And we was trying
- 42:12Speaker 3: to go to the next spot. And I said, no, y'all,
- 42:16Speaker 3: I got to go back to the room. He's like, no,
- 42:17Speaker 3: Boogie's going to leave in an hour. I said, I
- 42:19Speaker 3: don't give a damn what he's about to do. I'm
- 42:21Speaker 3: not going in there stinking. I'm going to the hotel.
- 42:26Speaker 3: Give me 15 minutes, and I'll be right back out.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Yeah, buddy. I'll be watching people when they do that.
- 42:31Speaker 1: I'll watch you.
- 42:32Speaker 3: All day, no, man, I'm just going to keep the
- 42:35Speaker 3: same thing on. We was just on a rooftop.
- 42:39Speaker 1: It was 90. That's about to stink. It was 90.
- 42:42Speaker 4: And I know you might not stink in this moment,
- 42:44Speaker 4: but you ain't got four more hours.
- 42:45Speaker 1: You ain't got four more hours. Imagine the jungle.
- 42:48Speaker 3: If you get lucky, the jungle, you're going to smell
- 42:53Speaker 3: all type.
- 42:54Speaker 1: Of no, no, no, no. And she ain't going to say, oh,
- 42:57Speaker 1: that man had a long day. No. She's going to say,
- 43:00Speaker 1: this nigga stank.
- 43:01Speaker 2: He stank.
- 43:02Speaker 3: Yes.
- 43:03Speaker 2: Stanking really pissed me and people off.
- 43:07Speaker 3: Because it's so avoidable.
- 43:08Speaker 2: I never forget you if you stank, stank. Like, I
- 43:10Speaker 2: never forget you.
- 43:12Speaker 1: Which one? Stank or breath? Like, body odor or breath?
- 43:17Speaker 2: Both. They go hand in hand, right?
- 43:20Speaker 1: Nah.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Which one works for you? Breath? Breath I can get
- 43:25Speaker 2: away from, though.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Most times. I can forgive you for stanking. Because you
- 43:33Speaker 1: stretched it out too long.
- 43:35Speaker 3: You know, especially if you normally clean and I don't
- 43:40Speaker 3: smell you.
- 43:41Speaker 1: But stanky breath? Every time. You get two times? Nah,
- 43:46Speaker 1: I'll never. I'll be like, yo. Stanky breath is memorable.
- 43:51Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. You never forget.
- 43:53Speaker 1: I think any stank is memorable.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Yes, that's what I'm saying.
- 43:58Speaker 3: And I think you give passes based off the situation.
- 44:02Speaker 4: You be like, man, I just saw that nigga eat
- 44:04Speaker 4: all that French onion.
- 44:05Speaker 1: I understand that. You know what I'm saying? But like,
- 44:08Speaker 1: just stinking? Yeah, I guess that's true. When you came
- 44:11Speaker 1: from home? That's crazy to me. You came from the
- 44:14Speaker 1: house stinking. You a different level of nasty. Bad chicks.
- 44:19Speaker 3: All of the bad chicks that are getting invited to
- 44:21Speaker 3: very expensive restaurants. And y'all like calamari. I want to
- 44:24Speaker 3: let you know, you haven't flossed. or nothing after you
- 44:27Speaker 3: had that calamari, or squid, or fish, or branzino. I
- 44:30Speaker 3: want to let you know, that and some alcohol over
- 44:34Speaker 3: a long period of time, your fine ass going to
- 44:36Speaker 3: have stanky breath. It's the fine chicks with bad, it
- 44:41Speaker 3: usually smell like seafood. I think women should keep mouthwash
- 44:46Speaker 3: in there.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Yeah, mint, something.
- 44:49Speaker 1: Do you ever keep a little small mouthwash on you?
- 44:53Speaker 2: I don't have mouthwash just on me, but I have
- 44:55Speaker 2: gum and mints, yes.
- 44:57Speaker 1: I have had the mouthwash. When I go to dinner,
- 45:00Speaker 1: sometimes I brought the mouthwash.
- 45:01Speaker 2: See, I'm not outside like you.
- 45:02Speaker 1: I got one in the car.
- 45:03Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying? I go home, so I
- 45:07Speaker 2: don't need to keep a whole bag on me.
- 45:08Speaker 3: Since you've been hanging out with the whites, you've been
- 45:10Speaker 3: drinking and hanging out longer, so why are you acting
- 45:12Speaker 3: like you're.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Going to be outside?
- 45:14Speaker 2: I love a margarita so bad.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Give me one margarita.
- 45:17Speaker 2: That's why I don't understand why Zach need to get
- 45:19Speaker 2: a bottle. Just go get you some cup waters, like
- 45:21Speaker 2: a full pack.
- 45:22Speaker 1: The same thing.
- 45:23Speaker 2: Last me all weekend.
- 45:24Speaker 4: You choose cup waters. It's no different. You can go
- 45:27Speaker 4: get your six pack of cup waters. I like champagne.
- 45:29Speaker 2: Oh, excuse me. You didn't say champs. I didn't know.
- 45:32Speaker 1: Yeah, it ain't like a bottle. It's always soft liquor.
- 45:35Speaker 1: You get you some champagne.
- 45:36Speaker 2: I think you just in a room with a bottle
- 45:38Speaker 2: of vodka.
- 45:39Speaker 1: No, you wild.
- 45:40Speaker 4: You too wild like that.
- 45:42Speaker 3: It's something you can mix with orange juice. Always get
- 45:44Speaker 3: a little mixer. You get you some champagne and then
- 45:46Speaker 3: you get a small thing. Why are you so wrapping
- 45:50Speaker 3: us up? We talking about the shit you put on here.
- 45:53Speaker 2: Okay. We passionate about these little dumb topics.
- 45:59Speaker 1: All right. Let's go ahead to this while we're speaking
- 46:01Speaker 1: about traveling. Which seat is better on the plane, the
- 46:04Speaker 1: window or the aisle seat? Yeah, that's why you had
- 46:07Speaker 1: to cut me off to get to that.
- 46:09Speaker 3: Right.
- 46:11Speaker 1: Let's get to the hard hitting stuff. That's exactly what
- 46:17Speaker 1: we need. Send me y'all resumes. Send me y'all resumes.
- 46:19Speaker 1: That's what we have to talk about. The window or
- 46:22Speaker 1: the aisle. We had to get to it. We got
- 46:23Speaker 1: to get to it.
- 46:25Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 46:29Speaker 1: Aisle for me because of my knee and leg issues.
- 46:33Speaker 3: Aisle for me is as I got older, I started
- 46:34Speaker 3: to get claustrophobic.
- 46:36Speaker 2: I like a window. Because once I'm nicely tucked in
- 46:39Speaker 2: that window, whatever's left is for y'all. Just let me
- 46:44Speaker 2: get in here and get situated and my little extender
- 46:46Speaker 2: on and I'm just nice and tucked in the window
- 46:50Speaker 2: and the rest of y'all can have. You know, I
- 46:52Speaker 2: hate an aisle seat because it's always somebody got to pee.
- 46:55Speaker 2: Sit down. You know what I'm saying? Like sit, you
- 46:57Speaker 2: can hold it. I hate that. So put me in
- 46:59Speaker 2: a window. Let me just look on out that way.
- 47:02Speaker 2: I don't even make eye contact with people sitting next
- 47:04Speaker 2: to me. Don't I do that? I don't even want
- 47:06Speaker 2: to make eye contact because I know I'm big. You
- 47:08Speaker 2: know I'm big. You fit in where you fit in.
- 47:12Speaker 2: Put me in that window.
- 47:15Speaker 1: Fit in where you fit in. I think I fell
- 47:17Speaker 1: asleep on Kiki's shoulder one time. Hey. We knocked out.
