- 0:03Speaker 2: This is the Wider Panalty Show.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Good evening and welcome to the Rita Panecky Show.
- 0:12Speaker 4: Coming up tonight, the Albanezer government launches a plan that
- 0:15Speaker 4: would see universities and arts bodies loose funding if they
- 0:19Speaker 4: fail to combat anti Semitic bigotry from staff, students, and artists.
- 0:24Speaker 4: Colleen Harkin will be here to cover the day's top headlines.
- 0:28Speaker 3: The brilliant batir Unga sagon.
- 0:30Speaker 4: We'll have the latest from the US, including astonishing new
- 0:33Speaker 4: jobs figures showing more than two million jobs created under
- 0:37Speaker 4: Donald Trump's second term for Native born Americans, and Gabriella
- 0:42Speaker 4: Power will have the latest on the Jeffrey Epstein saga.
- 0:46Speaker 4: It's a story that will not go away despite the
- 0:49Speaker 4: FBI concluding its investigation, and Tonight's Left is losing It
- 0:54Speaker 4: is an all female affair starring this CNN commentator talking.
- 1:00Speaker 5: About it like it's no big deal that they are
- 1:02Speaker 5: kidnapping people and transporting them to concentration camps both domestic
- 1:06Speaker 5: in form.
- 1:07Speaker 4: But first Universities and arts bodies that refuse to tackle
- 1:11Speaker 4: anti Semitism will lose government funding under fresh measures announced
- 1:15Speaker 4: by the Prime Minister earlier today, there.
- 1:18Speaker 6: Is no place in Australia for anti Semitism. The kind
- 1:23Speaker 6: of hatred and violence that we've seen on our streets
- 1:26Speaker 6: recently is despicable. One of the things that we did
- 1:30Speaker 6: last year, a year ago, it was to appoint Jillian
- 1:34Speaker 6: Siegel as a special Envoy to combat anti Semitism. And
- 1:37Speaker 6: today I'm joining with Jillian to launch her plan to
- 1:41Speaker 6: further combat anti Semitism.
- 1:44Speaker 4: Let's bring in research fellow and director of the Institute
- 1:47Speaker 4: of Public Affairs Schools Program, Colleen Harken. Colleen, we're told
- 1:50Speaker 4: this is a strategy to tackle anti Semitism in in
- 1:54Speaker 4: the streets, in the classroom, in the arts.
- 1:58Speaker 3: What do you make of this plan so far?
- 2:00Speaker 7: Rita?
- 2:01Speaker 8: Where was this moral clarity in twenty twenty three when
- 2:05Speaker 8: the Jewish people were told to stay home. We've had
- 2:08Speaker 8: university sit ins, we've had teachers walking into classrooms wearing cafirs, and.
- 2:14Speaker 1: It's been allowed to fester.
- 2:16Speaker 8: So this idea of all of a sudden we've found
- 2:19Speaker 8: some moral clarity, like great, but it's a lot little,
- 2:22Speaker 8: a lot too late. And what we need is our
- 2:26Speaker 8: leaders who kind of promote the unity of what we
- 2:29Speaker 8: have to offer, not division, and the Labor government has
- 2:32Speaker 8: actually been mostly absent in this scenario about calling out
- 2:36Speaker 8: this disgraceful antisemitism, and they've done a lot to add
- 2:39Speaker 8: to divisiveness.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Look what they did with the Voice.
- 2:42Speaker 8: But it has to be noted that sectarian fights in
- 2:46Speaker 8: foreign countries don't belong in Australia full stop.
- 2:50Speaker 1: And we still have scenarios.
- 2:52Speaker 8: Where teachers are walking in and the Australian Education Union
- 2:55Speaker 8: are saying it's okay for them to work cafairs. It's
- 2:57Speaker 8: up to individual schools to manage that process. So we've
- 3:01Speaker 8: got to get serious about what our values are as
- 3:03Speaker 8: a country and stamp it out.
- 3:05Speaker 3: But they have tried to make it part of our fight.
- 3:08Speaker 4: And if you've seen these pro Palestinian ant Israeli activists,
- 3:13Speaker 4: their protests always include local issues, a lot of indigenous
- 3:17Speaker 4: indigenous being copted.
- 3:19Speaker 3: In saying it's the same fight.
- 3:21Speaker 4: It's about stolen land, it's about colonization. So they have
- 3:24Speaker 4: tried to localize the fight. Now let's move on to
- 3:27Speaker 4: the Treasurer Jim Chalmers. He's looking to find ways to
- 3:31Speaker 4: capturate greater number of Australians under his plan to tax
- 3:34Speaker 4: superbalances of more than three million dollars for unrealized gains.
- 3:39Speaker 4: The super tax bill contains a clause which gives the
- 3:43Speaker 4: Treasurer power to change the super tax rules without parliamentary approval.
- 3:49Speaker 3: That's after the initial bill is pass and that would allow.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Him to make all sorts of changes. Colleen, what could
- 3:56Speaker 4: possibly go wrong?
- 3:58Speaker 3: How much will it be? Drunk with power the king?
- 4:01Speaker 8: Yeah, this is extraordinary because definitionally, if he's proposing that
- 4:06Speaker 8: he can make changes unilaterally after a bill has already
- 4:10Speaker 8: been passed, it definitely She means if there was something
- 4:11Speaker 8: wrong with the bill in the first place, I mean, really,
- 4:14Speaker 8: who does he think he is?
- 4:15Speaker 1: I mean, I know he's a.
- 4:16Speaker 8: Treasurer, But the extraordinary power to be able to change
- 4:20Speaker 8: things after a bill has been passed and tinkle with
- 4:22Speaker 8: it to fix up what were unintended consequences means that
- 4:26Speaker 8: it wasn't thought through properly in the first place.
- 4:29Speaker 1: So as if this sort of super.
- 4:32Speaker 8: Tax on unrealized games wasn't bad enough, it's just getting worse.
- 4:37Speaker 4: Well, And this is the fear that anytime any sort
- 4:41Speaker 4: of tax is put in place, that its scope will
- 4:45Speaker 4: just broaden and broaden and of course, with bracket creep,
- 4:48Speaker 4: it eventually captures more and more people. Anyhow, now let's
- 4:52Speaker 4: get to Victoria. The opposition down here is proposing changes
- 4:56Speaker 4: to the state's protests laws that would see activists who
- 5:00Speaker 4: defy orders to ditch unauthorized rallies that could end up
- 5:04Speaker 4: spending two years behind prison bars. This is a bit harsh,
- 5:10Speaker 4: I would have thought, Colleen. The proposed plan would also
- 5:14Speaker 4: introduce a protest permit system and give police more powers
- 5:18Speaker 4: to crack down on extremist rallies.
- 5:20Speaker 3: I'm all for that.
- 5:21Speaker 4: I'm all for the permits. New South Wales has that
- 5:24Speaker 4: in place already, but is what's been proposed going a
- 5:28Speaker 4: little bit too far in undermining free speech, perhaps undermining
- 5:33Speaker 4: the right to protest.
- 5:35Speaker 8: Yeah, reader, I'm not even a fan of the permit
- 5:37Speaker 8: scenario because we have the laws to manage unwieldy and
- 5:44Speaker 8: unsavory behavior. It's whether we've had the appetite to implement it.
- 5:48Speaker 8: So the idea that you have to apply for a
- 5:51Speaker 8: permit to exercise what is a democratic right is very
- 5:56Speaker 8: problematic because what happens in the future when a government
- 5:59Speaker 8: doesn't like cause so the cot the point instinct of
- 6:03Speaker 8: this is to shut everything down. And I understand why
- 6:06Speaker 8: because we would hope.
- 6:07Speaker 4: That police wouldn't be so politicized, but we have seen
- 6:10Speaker 4: through COVID they are very politicized, so they may reject
- 6:14Speaker 4: permits that are against the government's interests.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:17Speaker 8: Well, I mean we have seen it during the COVID lockdowns,
- 6:21Speaker 8: and so the instinct to just sort of to shut
- 6:24Speaker 8: everything down and to prevent people and have to register
- 6:28Speaker 8: and more bureaucracy and all of these things is fundamentally
- 6:31Speaker 8: a problem. We do have the laws and we just
- 6:34Speaker 8: have to have the courage to implement them.
- 6:37Speaker 3: Is that where you think the solution is?
- 6:38Speaker 4: Because we do see in Victoria last weekend it was
- 6:42Speaker 4: terrible even by our standards. We had those shocking scenes
- 6:46Speaker 4: at the Israeli restaurant Friday nights, we had people harassed,
- 6:50Speaker 4: motorists blockaded. In the Melbourne CBD, we had all sorts
- 6:54Speaker 4: of vile chants of our death to the IDEF again
- 6:57Speaker 4: in the CBD. So what can we do to actually
- 7:01Speaker 4: combat that? If the existing laws are not.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Sufficient, well, I think they are.
- 7:06Speaker 8: I think they're not being information So without sort of
- 7:11Speaker 8: undermining what's gone on, it doesn't matter whether someone what
- 7:13Speaker 8: they're shouting out the fact that they've been violent and
- 7:17Speaker 8: they've done what they have done. It doesn't matter who
- 7:18Speaker 8: they're who, they're doing it too and for what cause.
- 7:21Speaker 1: We actually do.
- 7:22Speaker 8: Have the legislative powers for the police to implement that,
- 7:26Speaker 8: to arrest them and to do whatever a police person
- 7:28Speaker 8: does in that situation. But what happens and what has
- 7:31Speaker 8: been allowed to fester for you know, a couple of
- 7:34Speaker 8: years now, is that the lack of courage in actually
- 7:37Speaker 8: implementing them, and so increasingly they're you know, people have
- 7:42Speaker 8: got more courageous in their objectionable behavior.
- 7:46Speaker 1: So we have people sitting outside Parliament House shouting.
- 7:49Speaker 8: At people and blocking off businesses for months and nothing
- 7:54Speaker 8: was done about it. So we do have it, it's
- 7:56Speaker 8: just that we've sort of sat back and.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Said, oh, we're too afraid to do anything about all.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Were very selective and selective those threats because they have
- 8:03Speaker 4: seen them applied quite brutally in the past. Now, before
- 8:06Speaker 4: you go, the Queensland Liberal government unveiled the findings of
- 8:11Speaker 4: a landmark investigation into the CFMEU conducted by anti corruption
- 8:15Speaker 4: expert Jeffrey Watson sc NOW. This investigation found that the
- 8:20Speaker 4: militant union deliberately used violence, coercion and threatened abuse, including
- 8:25Speaker 4: against women and children, and it did it to tighten
- 8:29Speaker 4: its group on Queensland's construction center sector. Colleen, I can't
- 8:35Speaker 4: say I'm terribly shocked. We've heard these sorts of allegations
- 8:39Speaker 4: before about this union. Will something be done? We are
- 8:43Speaker 4: talking about a liberal government in Queensland. Can they crack
- 8:47Speaker 4: down on the CFMEU.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I mean they have to, the bottom line is that
- 8:51Speaker 1: they have to.
- 8:51Speaker 8: This just confirms what we've all known for a really
- 8:53Speaker 8: long time that the CFMEU has been a protected species.
- 8:58Speaker 8: The labor government has relied on them for funding and
- 9:02Speaker 8: for machinery for election campaign times, and so you know,
- 9:08Speaker 8: what has come out is what a lot of people
- 9:09Speaker 8: have known for a very long time, and it's been
- 9:11Speaker 8: covered up essentially. So it is time that this union
- 9:16Speaker 8: was fully deregistered and given the opportunity for these industries
- 9:21Speaker 8: to flourish as they should be.
- 9:22Speaker 1: There is obviously a place for unions, of course, but
- 9:26Speaker 1: this and this union's.
- 9:28Speaker 8: Behavior is simply out of like, beyond out of line.
- 9:31Speaker 4: And we hear the same stories, the same sort of tactics,
- 9:34Speaker 4: the same coercion and aggression. Whether we're talking about Victoria
- 9:38Speaker 4: or Queensland, it just seems to be it's across identical
- 9:42Speaker 4: stories about how they go about their business.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Colleen Harken, thank you so much for you're well joining
- 9:48Speaker 3: me now, is.
- 9:49Speaker 4: Journalist and author of Second Class, How the Elites Betrayed
- 9:53Speaker 4: America's working men and women. But Tilga Sagon, welcome back
- 9:57Speaker 4: to the program. We're starting with some good news. The
- 10:01Speaker 4: June jobs report came in stronger than expected, with one
- 10:04Speaker 4: hundred and forty seven thousand new jobs added. But if
- 10:07Speaker 4: you look a little bit deeper, the full picture of
- 10:11Speaker 4: what has happened in the job market since Donald Trump
- 10:14Speaker 4: became president, since he began his second term, well, the
- 10:19Speaker 4: picture that emerges there is quite extraordinary.
- 10:22Speaker 9: Gains since the start of President Trump's second term, increasing
- 10:26Speaker 9: by over two million jobs, while the number of foreign
- 10:29Speaker 9: born workers has declined by more than five hundred and
- 10:32Speaker 9: forty thousand.
- 10:34Speaker 3: That paints quite the picture.
- 10:36Speaker 4: More than two million new jobs for native born Americans?
- 10:42Speaker 4: What does that meant for the American economy?
- 10:44Speaker 10: But here, thank you so much for having me. It's
- 10:48Speaker 10: so great to be back here with you. Yeah, it
- 10:50Speaker 10: turns out they actually were taking our jobs. You know,
- 10:55Speaker 10: for five years, I've been making this argument that illegals
- 11:00Speaker 10: are undercutting the wages of working class Americans. You know,
- 11:05Speaker 10: there's this narrative on the left that they're taking jobs
- 11:08Speaker 10: that Americans will not do or don't want to do,
- 11:11Speaker 10: and it's absolute nonsense. There's not a single industry in
- 11:15Speaker 10: the United States that's done by a majority illegal migrant labor.
- 11:20Speaker 10: The highest rates are about thirty percent in agriculture, which
- 11:24Speaker 10: means seventy two percent of people working farms are American citizens.
- 11:30Speaker 10: And it is just so disgusting to say these are
- 11:33Speaker 10: jobs that are beneath an American. Turns out, Americans don't
- 11:37Speaker 10: think that. When you have mass deportations and a closed border,
- 11:41Speaker 10: employers have to pay more wages, and guess what, Americans
- 11:44Speaker 10: are happy to take those jobs.
- 11:48Speaker 4: And yet with those increasing wages, and we have seen real,
- 11:51Speaker 4: real wages go up, the inflation number has remained low.
- 11:56Speaker 4: In fact, it's fallen and at a time when all
- 12:00Speaker 4: tariffs were going to see skyrocketing inflation. So so much
- 12:04Speaker 4: of the economic expertise that we've heard from in recent months,
- 12:09Speaker 4: in recent years has come out completely wrong. They have
- 12:13Speaker 4: just been disproven almost immediately.
- 12:17Speaker 10: That is one hundred percent true. And of course those
- 12:20Speaker 10: of us who said from the beginning the tariffs are
- 12:22Speaker 10: not going to be inflationary feel pretty good about ourselves.
- 12:26Speaker 10: I'm sure President Trump does as well. And it's so amazing, reader,
- 12:30Speaker 10: because what you're seeing here is, you know, he had
- 12:33Speaker 10: his first term. He learned a lot about how Washington
- 12:37Speaker 10: works or doesn't work, right, He learned a lot about
- 12:40Speaker 10: how they are going to be people who are going
- 12:42Speaker 10: to be naysayers who are going to try to stemy him.
- 12:45Speaker 10: But he had a theory of the case for how
- 12:48Speaker 10: to improve the lives of working class Americans. And what
- 12:50Speaker 10: we're seeing right now is him just making good again
- 12:54Speaker 10: and again and again on that theory. The entire economic
- 12:58Speaker 10: expert class against this from the get go and warned
- 13:02Speaker 10: that everything he is doing was going to cause massive inflation,
- 13:08Speaker 10: and it turned out that every single one of them
- 13:11Speaker 10: was wrong, and Donald Trump was right. And he's been
- 13:14Speaker 10: talking about this for forty years, about how tariffs actually
- 13:18Speaker 10: improve the lot of working class people in so many
- 13:21Speaker 10: different ways. So it's so tremendous to see this really
- 13:26Speaker 10: just all of the predictions were wrong, and what he
- 13:29Speaker 10: had promised the American people was going to work, actually worked.
- 13:36Speaker 3: But the elites aren't giving up on this fight.
- 13:39Speaker 4: We know they are determined to have this almost permanent
- 13:42Speaker 4: underclass of workers, illegal immigrants who that can pay I'm
- 13:50Speaker 4: using hyperbole here, but pay essentially slave wages too, and
- 13:55Speaker 4: they're not letting go of that buttia. They want that comfort,
- 13:59Speaker 4: they want to that's worked well for them. It's not
- 14:02Speaker 4: worked well for the average American worker, but for the
- 14:05Speaker 4: top few percent of the economy it has worked well.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:11Speaker 10: Absolutely. The downward mobility of the American working class is
- 14:18Speaker 10: due to a number of factors, but the massive increase
- 14:22Speaker 10: in illegal labor is one of the biggest ones. You
- 14:25Speaker 10: look at the nineteen seventies, which is when working class
- 14:28Speaker 10: Americans could really afford to support a family in dignity
- 14:33Speaker 10: on a single income. The share of the population that
- 14:37Speaker 10: was foreign born in America was four percent. You look
- 14:41Speaker 10: today and it's over fifteen percent. And of course, if
- 14:46Speaker 10: you're here and you're an illegal migrant, you have two options.
- 14:50Speaker 10: Either you're working, which means you're driving down the wages
- 14:55Speaker 10: that an American worker could have asked for if you
- 14:57Speaker 10: weren't there competing with them for a job, or you're
- 15:01Speaker 10: living off the social welfare state. Right, There's no third
- 15:04Speaker 10: option here, and both of those are utterly, utterly unacceptable.
- 15:09Speaker 10: And yet the elites in both parties, as you rightly
- 15:13Speaker 10: point out Rita, have been very much enjoying this because
- 15:16Speaker 10: they are the consumers of low wage labor. So of
- 15:19Speaker 10: course they would rather pay a nanny forty thousand dollars
- 15:23Speaker 10: a year under the table than pay an American seventy
- 15:26Speaker 10: thousand dollars a year and give them benefits. And Donald
- 15:29Speaker 10: Trump has simply put his foot down and said no more.
- 15:32Speaker 10: And as a result, we're seeing real wages rise for
- 15:34Speaker 10: working class Americans, and the elites are going crazy because
- 15:39Speaker 10: they cannot stand to be deprived of their slave labor force.
- 15:44Speaker 10: That's what all of this, you know, activism against ice
- 15:48Speaker 10: and against the deportations is about. They say they're coming
- 15:51Speaker 10: for our communities, and what they mean is they're coming
- 15:54Speaker 10: for our cheap workforce.
- 15:59Speaker 3: That is so well put it.
- 16:00Speaker 4: I think a lot of the money behind these protests
- 16:05Speaker 4: is motivated by just that.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Now, this is an astonishing story.
- 16:09Speaker 4: Joe Biden's doctor has pleaded the fifth that's the right
- 16:13Speaker 4: against self incrimination. Doctor Kevin O'Connor is really refusing to
- 16:18Speaker 4: cooperate with a congressional investigation into Joe Biden's health while
- 16:22Speaker 4: he was president, and he decided to answer questions. He
- 16:27Speaker 4: declined to answer questions during the deposition. The New York
- 16:30Speaker 4: Post is reporting that his longtime physician was asked two
- 16:34Speaker 4: key questions. Were you ever told to lie about the
- 16:38Speaker 4: President's health?
- 16:40Speaker 3: And did you ever.
- 16:41Speaker 4: Believe President Biden was unfit to execute his duties? In
- 16:46Speaker 4: both instances? But here he pleaded the fifth. To me,
- 16:51Speaker 4: that his astonishing.
- 16:55Speaker 10: It's so totally crazy. I was sitting They're thinking, like,
- 17:01Speaker 10: what crime is does he think he might have committed?
- 17:04Speaker 10: And did Joe Biden actually you know, stiff him of
- 17:08Speaker 10: a pardon? I mean, he was giving out all these
- 17:10Speaker 10: preemptive pardons. Apparently as doctor thinks he might have committed
- 17:15Speaker 10: a crime, maybe he needed one too. It's so crazy
- 17:20Speaker 10: what we just went through. I mean, that just the epic,
- 17:23Speaker 10: massive gas lighting. I continue to think, Rita, that the
- 17:28Speaker 10: real story here is the media's complicity, because you know,
- 17:33Speaker 10: to me, it makes a lot of sense that Joe
- 17:35Speaker 10: Biden would have lied about her husband. It makes a
- 17:38Speaker 10: lot of sense that his inner circle would have. The
- 17:41Speaker 10: problem was not that people who were benefiting from him
- 17:45Speaker 10: being in this position light about him. The problem is
- 17:48Speaker 10: that there was no media except the conservative media willing
- 17:53Speaker 10: to hold them to account. And what we learned from
- 17:56Speaker 10: this was that the mainstream liberal corporate media in America
- 18:00Speaker 10: is one hundred percent in the can for the Democrats,
- 18:03Speaker 10: Like that is the thing that we really learned here
- 18:06Speaker 10: is that they refused to push on what we could
- 18:09Speaker 10: all see was true because they were terrified Donald Trump
- 18:13Speaker 10: would win. And that, to me, is the lesson we
- 18:15Speaker 10: cannot allow them to forget, especially given the fact that
- 18:19Speaker 10: upwards of ninety percent of American journalists are Democrats, and
- 18:23Speaker 10: so this is like the vast majority of journalism in
- 18:26Speaker 10: America is on one side politically. This is an epic,
- 18:31Speaker 10: epic scandal and remains to be the biggest story here.
- 18:37Speaker 3: It absolutely is.
- 18:38Speaker 4: And those of us who did report on his cognitive decline,
- 18:43Speaker 4: reported on incidents where he seemed to be completely lost
- 18:48Speaker 4: and incoherent. Well, we're accused of pushing fake news and disinformation.
- 18:56Speaker 4: So it wasn't just that they declined to report on this,
- 19:00Speaker 4: actively attacked those who did report on it. To try
- 19:03Speaker 4: to undermine trust in that sort of reporting. So you
- 19:07Speaker 4: can see why right now trust in the US media
- 19:11Speaker 4: is at record lows. They have just completely discredited themselves.
- 19:16Speaker 4: We mentioned tariffs earlier, and earlier today there was a
- 19:20Speaker 4: whole round of new tariff announcements. The US is going
- 19:24Speaker 4: to be charging a fifty percent tariff on all Brazilian
- 19:28Speaker 4: goods starting on August one.
- 19:29Speaker 3: Other countries impacted.
- 19:31Speaker 4: By these latest round of announcements include Libya, Iraq, Algeria,
- 19:35Speaker 4: Sri Lanka facing a thirty percent tariff, Moldova and Brunei
- 19:40Speaker 4: twenty five percent, and the Philippines will have twenty percent
- 19:44Speaker 4: tax on imports. Now in Australia, there remains a great
- 19:49Speaker 4: deal of doubt about the merits of tariffs. Tell my
- 19:53Speaker 4: audience what this policy really means for Americans and particularly
- 19:57Speaker 4: American workers.
- 20:01Speaker 10: So for a very long time, many many countries have
- 20:05Speaker 10: had tariffs on our goods for very good reason, because
- 20:09Speaker 10: tariffs protect your own workers. And so many countries felt, well,
- 20:14Speaker 10: we're going to protect our workers. We're not going to
- 20:16Speaker 10: allow American imports to flood our markets.
- 20:19Speaker 1: But you know, we.
- 20:20Speaker 10: Will expect to have free access to the American market,
- 20:24Speaker 10: and for some reason, the elites gave this to them,
- 20:28Speaker 10: because the elites, of course are the consumers of this stuff,
- 20:31Speaker 10: not the producers, and so they wanted these cheap goods
- 20:34Speaker 10: from other countries, and they didn't care that the American
- 20:37Speaker 10: worker was getting screwed. What a tariff does is it
- 20:40Speaker 10: effectively says that the product of the labor of the
- 20:45Speaker 10: American worker deserves to be competitive in the global marketplace.
- 20:51Speaker 10: That is what the elites had taken away from us
- 20:54Speaker 10: because of all of this offshoring to countries where labor
- 20:57Speaker 10: is much cheaper because working can do are much worse.
- 21:02Speaker 10: Stuff was artificially made cheap and then flooded the American marketplace,
- 21:08Speaker 10: so that a manufacturer who was doing the right thing,
- 21:10Speaker 10: who's paying an American a living wage, couldn't compete because
- 21:14Speaker 10: there was so much cheaper stuff there. And so we
- 21:17Speaker 10: had this artificial cheapening of products, especially stuff that you
- 21:23Speaker 10: get from China, but also from a host of other
- 21:25Speaker 10: countries that when things started to become clear that China
- 21:29Speaker 10: was really undermining us as a country, they moved to
- 21:33Speaker 10: other countries. So there are all these other countries that
- 21:35Speaker 10: are effectively a backdoor into our economy that the Chinese
- 21:40Speaker 10: simply set up shop there in order to evade the
- 21:44Speaker 10: tariffs that we had on them. That's why we need
- 21:47Speaker 10: these tariffs. We have to protect our workers, we have
- 21:49Speaker 10: to protect the product of their labor, we have to
- 21:53Speaker 10: protect their dignity. And what's so amazing, Rita, is that
- 21:57Speaker 10: a lot of working class people said, you know what,
- 22:00Speaker 10: things might get more expensive, but if that means that
- 22:03Speaker 10: my kid has a better shot at a better future
- 22:06Speaker 10: at the American dream, I'm happy to pay that. It
- 22:09Speaker 10: was just an added bonus that it turned out that
- 22:12Speaker 10: the tariffs were not inflationary. It turned out that there
- 22:16Speaker 10: were a lot of things that made it expensive to
- 22:19Speaker 10: bring things from China, like the fuel or the shipping,
- 22:24Speaker 10: the entire supply chain. There are a lot of places
- 22:27Speaker 10: where you can actually pull back some of those costs
- 22:30Speaker 10: if you're willing to reshore manufacturing. But at the end
- 22:32Speaker 10: of the day, the thing that your audience needs to
- 22:34Speaker 10: understand is it wasn't fair to our workers. The American
- 22:39Speaker 10: working class was paying the cost for the immense prosperity
- 22:44Speaker 10: that other countries and the elites in our country were
- 22:46Speaker 10: generating on their backs, and they were seeing none of
- 22:50Speaker 10: the benefits and it was just not fair anymore, and
- 22:52Speaker 10: we had to turn it around.
- 22:56Speaker 4: And it's an issue Donald Trump has been talking about
- 22:58Speaker 4: for decades, long before he had any political aspirations.
- 23:03Speaker 3: And he campaigned on it.
- 23:05Speaker 4: No one should be shocked that he's implementing these policies now.
- 23:09Speaker 4: The Trump administration did have a big win at the
- 23:11Speaker 4: Supreme Court this week.
- 23:12Speaker 3: It was an eight one decision.
- 23:14Speaker 4: The Supreme Court lifted the order blocking the Trump administration
- 23:18Speaker 4: from enforcing large scale firings of federal workers. But there
- 23:24Speaker 4: was one dissenting judge, not surprisingly again Kataji Brown Jackson.
- 23:30Speaker 4: This is again very surprising because he got even the
- 23:34Speaker 4: leftist judges like Soda, Mayor and Kagan siding with the
- 23:39Speaker 4: Trump administration. But Brown Jackson again saw things differently.
- 23:47Speaker 10: Yeah, she seems to think that it is the Supreme
- 23:50Speaker 10: Court's job to legislate, which of course it isn't. So
- 23:56Speaker 10: there seems to be a real fundamental misunderstanding. And while
- 24:00Speaker 10: obviously if the Trump administration ignored a Supreme Court ruling
- 24:04Speaker 10: that would be a problem, that has not happened yet.
- 24:07Speaker 10: They have abided by all of the rulings. But nobody
- 24:10Speaker 10: wants to talk about what happens when the judiciary branch
- 24:14Speaker 10: fundamentally misunderstands its role and thinks that it should have
- 24:19Speaker 10: the ability to actually put a halt to things that
- 24:23Speaker 10: are solidly in the executive branch. I'll just give you
- 24:27Speaker 10: one example. I think most people don't realize immigration is
- 24:33Speaker 10: pretty much at the discretion of the president. Not just that,
- 24:37Speaker 10: but immigration judges are not part of the judicial branch.
- 24:42Speaker 10: They answer to the president. They are part of the
- 24:45Speaker 10: executive branch. They are just basically executives there to answer
- 24:51Speaker 10: to what the president sets out as the policy and
- 24:54Speaker 10: to rule on what are effectively administrative hearings. And so
- 24:59Speaker 10: it is such a misnomer to suggest that illegal migrants
- 25:04Speaker 10: should have access to the same due process rights that
- 25:08Speaker 10: we as American citizens have.
- 25:10Speaker 1: They have a.
- 25:11Speaker 10: Much lower standard of due process rights. And to mistake
- 25:18Speaker 10: immigration judges for part of the judiciary the way so
- 25:21Speaker 10: many judges are doing in this very self interested way,
- 25:26Speaker 10: that too, is a huge constitutional crisis in my opinion.
- 25:30Speaker 3: Baziel Ga Sagon, always a pleasure. Thank you so much
- 25:33Speaker 3: for your time tonight.
- 25:35Speaker 10: Thank you so much, Rita God bless.
- 25:37Speaker 3: Still to come.
- 25:38Speaker 4: Lefties losing it plus the latest on the Jeffrey Epstein saga.
- 25:43Speaker 3: It's a story that won't go away. Gabriella power because
- 25:47Speaker 3: the details see welcome back.
- 25:58Speaker 4: And it's time for Lefty's losing it. And we almost
- 26:01Speaker 4: went a whole week without the input.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Of the ladies of the View.
- 26:04Speaker 4: But alas here we are, we can no longer ignore
- 26:08Speaker 4: their mad ravings. I have so much to pick from,
- 26:12Speaker 4: but let's ignore Whoopee and Joy and Sonny. We hear
- 26:15Speaker 4: a lot from them. We haven't featured Anna Navarro for
- 26:19Speaker 4: a while. Here she is suggesting Elon Musk rig the
- 26:23Speaker 4: presidential election for Donald Trump.
- 26:25Speaker 11: Elon Musk needs to look at what he did in
- 26:28Speaker 11: this past election. Yes, we have a broken system right
- 26:31Speaker 11: now because there is no oversight. We have a broken
- 26:34Speaker 11: system right now because there is a precedent who doesn't
- 26:36Speaker 11: believe in the constitution and who defies judicial orders.
- 26:40Speaker 1: And Elon Musk and has.
- 26:41Speaker 11: Three hundred plus million dollars, and god knows what else
- 26:44Speaker 11: he may have done that we don't know of own
- 26:47Speaker 11: the problem that he created.
- 26:50Speaker 4: Now Here are some facts for Anna and the rest
- 26:53Speaker 4: of the view simpletons. Kamala Harris outspent Donald Trump four
- 26:57Speaker 4: to one. She spent well over one point five billion
- 27:01Speaker 4: with a B in fifteen weeks. Donald Trump spent less
- 27:04Speaker 4: than five hundred million, well less than five hundred million
- 27:07Speaker 4: over his entire campaign. This notion that Elon Musk brought
- 27:11Speaker 4: Donald Trump the presidency only makes sense if you are ignorant.
- 27:15Speaker 3: Of the facts or deliberately stupid. They are no other options.
- 27:19Speaker 4: And talking about ignorant and stupid, let's check in with
- 27:23Speaker 4: Kathy Griffin, who is pushing the same mad conspiracy theory
- 27:28Speaker 4: that the twenty twenty four election will somehow compromise it
- 27:31Speaker 4: was fixed.
- 27:32Speaker 3: How else could Trump win so easily?
- 27:35Speaker 12: People think I'm tinfoil hat because I don't think you
- 27:38Speaker 12: wanted a free and fair election this time. No, I'm
- 27:41Speaker 12: going to take a hit for that, and I understand,
- 27:44Speaker 12: but that's just my humble opinion. I don't trust the
- 27:48Speaker 12: Elon connection.
- 27:50Speaker 1: I have my suspicions.
- 27:52Speaker 3: You know, there's a wave of people who agree with
- 27:54Speaker 3: you a way.
- 27:57Speaker 12: I it's That's why I'm sort of saying it out
- 28:01Speaker 12: loud now because I I look, I'm not a conspiracy theorist.
- 28:06Speaker 12: I but I don't something about him winning every swing state,
- 28:12Speaker 12: all seven. You're getting a lot of grills going to
- 28:15Speaker 12: the Democrats. I just something about it doesn't sit a
- 28:20Speaker 12: ry with me. But I also don't know if we'll
- 28:22Speaker 12: really find out anything in my lifetime.
- 28:25Speaker 3: I don't know what did they say? Crazy Loves Company?
- 28:28Speaker 4: But Anna Navarro and Kathy Griffin, almost rational commentators were
- 28:33Speaker 4: compared to this.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Next mad Banshie.
- 28:36Speaker 4: Here is former MSNBC host Tiffany Cross.
- 28:39Speaker 3: She's on CNN nowadays, and.
- 28:41Speaker 4: Here she claims that Nazi like ICE agents are kidnapping
- 28:45Speaker 4: people off the streets and throwing innocent migrants into concentration camps.
- 28:50Speaker 5: Normalizing a government agency disappearing people. We are normalizing. We're
- 28:56Speaker 5: talking about it like it's no big deal that they
- 28:57Speaker 5: are kidnapping people and transport them to concentration camps, both
- 29:01Speaker 5: domestic and foreign.
- 29:03Speaker 1: That is not that's kind of insulting to me. I
- 29:05Speaker 1: think it's insulting what they're doing.
- 29:07Speaker 5: It is not insulting to Jewish. Now I'm finally insulting
- 29:10Speaker 5: that you could even fix your mouth to defend gas.
- 29:14Speaker 2: It's not it doesn't matter.
- 29:16Speaker 5: It's a concentration camp what they're doing, and they are
- 29:19Speaker 5: disappearing people, claiming that these are people who have committed
- 29:21Speaker 5: the most harsh crimes. But according to the reporting, less
- 29:23Speaker 5: than ten percent of these people have committed harsh crimes.
- 29:26Speaker 5: So to do the victim Olympics victim.
- 29:28Speaker 3: Olympics who had it worse?
- 29:31Speaker 4: Did she really say that that it's victim Olympics to
- 29:35Speaker 4: point out that concentration camps actually had millions of people
- 29:39Speaker 4: who were murdered in them, just.
- 29:42Speaker 3: Gross and crazy.
- 29:44Speaker 4: As for only ten percent of those being deported being
- 29:47Speaker 4: hardened criminals. Even if that figure is right, every single
- 29:51Speaker 4: illegal immigrant is breaking the law. That's why they're being deported.
- 29:55Speaker 4: Now let's end on something a little more frivolous. We
- 29:58Speaker 4: hear the dating world is rough. Now there's a lowliness epidemic,
- 30:02Speaker 4: But you know, sometimes that's for the best.
- 30:06Speaker 12: Guys.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Someone just asked me out.
- 30:08Speaker 7: We were in the queue for the toilets and we
- 30:09Speaker 7: had a bit of banter and he said, can I
- 30:13Speaker 7: take you for a drink sometime?
- 30:14Speaker 1: And I thought, let me just.
- 30:15Speaker 7: Ask this simple question.
- 30:17Speaker 1: I said, are you a.
- 30:19Speaker 7: Feminist and have you spent time thinking about your privileges
- 30:22Speaker 7: as a male? Do you understand the nuances of the
- 30:24Speaker 7: trans debate? And do you always sit on the right
- 30:26Speaker 7: side of it and understand how we've been pitted against
- 30:28Speaker 7: each other by the powers that be to ultimately make
- 30:30Speaker 7: us weaker. Do you have a good connection to your
- 30:33Speaker 7: inner monologue or do you spend time avoiding thoughts with
- 30:36Speaker 7: vices like games, consoles or addiction to alcohol and drugs?
- 30:40Speaker 7: And are you angry with the state of the world
- 30:42Speaker 7: right now?
- 30:42Speaker 1: And if so, what are you doing about it?
- 30:45Speaker 4: Joining me now is Sky News digital presenter Gabriella Power.
- 30:49Speaker 3: Gab.
- 30:50Speaker 4: Let's start with the host of the Call Her Daddy podcast,
- 30:54Speaker 4: Alex Cooper, who you remember. She interviewed Kamala Harris and
- 30:58Speaker 4: the lead up to the twenty twenty four presidential election.
- 31:00Speaker 4: It didn't go too well, but she's now copying some
- 31:04Speaker 4: harsh treatment loud booze during this week's Cubs Cardinals match.
- 31:10Speaker 4: And if you want to know why baseball fans were incense,
- 31:13Speaker 4: well it may have something to do with her rendition
- 31:15Speaker 4: of take me out to the ballgame. Have a listen,
- 31:18Speaker 4: and I apologize in advance for what you're about to hear, Yab,
- 31:44Speaker 4: I have one question why Reddica.
- 31:48Speaker 2: First off say apology not accepted. I mean that it
- 31:53Speaker 2: was one of the most awkward uncomfortable things I have
- 31:57Speaker 2: ever ever ever watched. Now, Alex was rightfully booed from
- 32:01Speaker 2: the very start right through to the end because she
- 32:05Speaker 2: ruined one of the greatest songs of all time. Now
- 32:07Speaker 2: we know Alex Cooper likes to kind of say and
- 32:10Speaker 2: do some weird things on her podcast. She invites Hollywood
- 32:14Speaker 2: celebrities on her podcast to talk about the intimate things
- 32:17Speaker 2: that get up to in the bedroom and as you say,
- 32:20Speaker 2: she interviewed Kamala Harris in the lead up to the election,
- 32:24Speaker 2: which absolutely tanked. Barely anyone tuned into it. Even just
- 32:28Speaker 2: looking at the numbers recently, it's less than a million,
- 32:30Speaker 2: whereas Joe Rogan's interview with Donald Trump is on around
- 32:33Speaker 2: sixty million. But if her listeners want to tune into
- 32:37Speaker 2: her podcast to listen to all the weird stuff that
- 32:40Speaker 2: she talks about on that, that's completely fine. But what
- 32:44Speaker 2: about this performance? Why put everyone else through this misery?
- 32:48Speaker 2: It was one of the most terrible things I have
- 32:50Speaker 2: ever seen. She needs to get back to podcasting and
- 32:52Speaker 2: never do it again.
- 32:55Speaker 3: Well, I don't know she should even be podcasting.
- 32:58Speaker 4: Well not if you listen to Megan care because I
- 33:00Speaker 4: want to play you this clip on what Megan had
- 33:03Speaker 4: to say about Alex Cooper.
- 33:05Speaker 3: She did not hold back. If you thought we're being critical,
- 33:08Speaker 3: well get a hold of this.
- 33:10Speaker 13: Have you ever seen somebody with less class make more
- 33:15Speaker 13: money being utterly classless? I mean, there's a couple that
- 33:19Speaker 13: come to mind, but you really have to try.
- 33:21Speaker 1: That's how she makes her money.
- 33:23Speaker 13: She has zero class and she deals day to day
- 33:26Speaker 13: in abject vulgarity. This nitwit whose brand is classless vulgarity.
- 33:33Speaker 13: I'm sorry, but that's the truth about her. And for
- 33:36Speaker 13: some reason someone gave her the invitation to participate in
- 33:39Speaker 13: the seventh inning stretch. She's one step above that Bonnie Blue.
- 33:43Speaker 13: That's seem light of work.
- 33:47Speaker 3: Yep, she did not hold back there.
- 33:50Speaker 4: Now let's talk about NFL legend Tom Brady.
- 33:53Speaker 3: Apparently he is a started a.
- 33:56Speaker 4: Romance with Modern Family star Sophia Vigara. This can't be true, surely,
- 34:00Speaker 4: but they have been spotted together in Spain, and a
- 34:04Speaker 4: source close to the situation has described it as a
- 34:07Speaker 4: summer romance. Gabriella, I guess this is one way to
- 34:12Speaker 4: bounce back after being dubbed by a supermodel.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Well, that's true, Rita. It appears that things are heating
- 34:18Speaker 2: up in Spain. This story is interesting. It starts off
- 34:21Speaker 2: a week ago where else but a super yocht filled
- 34:24Speaker 2: with celebrities including Kendall Jenna and Kate Hudson. And apparently,
- 34:29Speaker 2: according to insiders, that's where the two of them were
- 34:31Speaker 2: spotted sitting next to one another. And Tom Brady even
- 34:34Speaker 2: made sure that he could swap seats with someone so
- 34:37Speaker 2: he could sit next to Severe Figara, And that's where
- 34:41Speaker 2: the romance rumors started. And then they got off the
- 34:44Speaker 2: Supiot and they've continued spending time together in Ibiza. So
- 34:48Speaker 2: that is where these romance rumors are now well and
- 34:51Speaker 2: truly swelling.
- 34:54Speaker 4: Now to Formula one, and the Red Bull team has
- 34:58Speaker 4: sacked its boss, Christian Horner following allegations of inappropriate behavior.
- 35:04Speaker 4: He was involved in a sexting scandal. Gab, what more
- 35:08Speaker 4: can you tell me about this? Is this deal with
- 35:10Speaker 4: his wife Ginger Spice.
- 35:13Speaker 2: Well, this was a bombshell decision by Red Bull two
- 35:16Speaker 2: part ways with Christian Corner in the middle of the
- 35:19Speaker 2: season F one fans are absolutely stunned by this. As
- 35:23Speaker 2: you say, Christian Horner had been follows these allegations of
- 35:28Speaker 2: inappropriate behavior so there had been some speculation that this
- 35:31Speaker 2: could potentially be coming for some time, but he has
- 35:33Speaker 2: been at the helm of Red Bull for twenty years.
- 35:36Speaker 2: He has spoken about this. He says that he is shocked.
- 35:39Speaker 2: He actually broke down in tears, saying that working with
- 35:42Speaker 2: Red Bull has been the biggest privilege of his life.
- 35:45Speaker 2: And now that decision has been formally announced and Laurent McKay's,
- 35:50Speaker 2: who was in charge of the sister team, Racing Bulls,
- 35:53Speaker 2: is now set to take Horner's place as a CEO.
- 35:58Speaker 4: It will be very interesting to see if the marriage
- 36:01Speaker 4: survives because those allegations that have been leveled against him.
- 36:06Speaker 4: I don't think any wife would want to be hearing that. Now,
- 36:09Speaker 4: let's move along to Elon Musk has been posting about
- 36:13Speaker 4: the US Justice Department's claims that there were no Jeffrey
- 36:17Speaker 4: Epstein clients or there's no client list to be found.
- 36:21Speaker 4: He posted on x what's the time? Oh look, it's
- 36:25Speaker 4: no one has been arrested ocock again.
- 36:27Speaker 3: And he wondered why Maxwell was in prison. That's a
- 36:33Speaker 3: good question.
- 36:34Speaker 4: Stuff like this does not improve people's faith in government. Again,
- 36:38Speaker 4: it's hard to argue with that gab The Epstein list
- 36:42Speaker 4: has been the top trending topic on x FO a
- 36:46Speaker 4: number of days. Very few people seem to be buying
- 36:49Speaker 4: the conclusion that there is no list and nothing more
- 36:53Speaker 4: to investigate.
- 36:54Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely no one is buying it. And it's difficult
- 36:57Speaker 2: because Pam Bondi was the one this up for months.
- 37:01Speaker 2: She was going on network news programs saying that I've
- 37:05Speaker 2: got the client list. Just wait till you find out
- 37:08Speaker 2: what we have. Are going through all the documents. So
- 37:11Speaker 2: everyone was anticipating that we would be getting the Epstein files,
- 37:15Speaker 2: and now we're supposed to buy that there's no client
- 37:18Speaker 2: list and that this is the end of the story. Well, unfortunately,
- 37:22Speaker 2: people on both sides of politics are not buying this
- 37:25Speaker 2: at all, and they're demanding answers. Now. The Trump administration
- 37:29Speaker 2: vowed to be one of truth and transparency, and it
- 37:32Speaker 2: absolutely has been compared to the Biden administration. But this
- 37:36Speaker 2: is one issue that is not going away. As for
- 37:38Speaker 2: Elon Musk, he's kind of lost his credibility here because
- 37:41Speaker 2: he's made so many rogue posts on x in the past.
- 37:45Speaker 2: He accused Donald Trump of being on the list, and
- 37:47Speaker 2: he deleted that post, and then he apologized for it,
- 37:50Speaker 2: so I feel like he's just making a lot of
- 37:52Speaker 2: noise right now and trying to use this as a
- 37:55Speaker 2: bit of a pr stunt to try and get some
- 37:58Speaker 2: support for his new political party, which is absolutely not
- 38:01Speaker 2: going to work.
- 38:04Speaker 3: I think you're right there.
- 38:05Speaker 4: He's been the boy who's cried wolf one too many times,
- 38:09Speaker 4: and he just went and made some outlandish claims, made
- 38:12Speaker 4: some silly posts. But these latest ones, I think make
- 38:17Speaker 4: a great deal of sense. How do you think the
- 38:19Speaker 4: Trump administration is going to handle this? Some people are
- 38:21Speaker 4: suggesting that the Attorney General Pam Bondi may be in trouble.
- 38:25Speaker 4: She may have to fall on her knife and step
- 38:29Speaker 4: down because so many people are pointing to her statements.
- 38:33Speaker 4: There's pressure on cash Patel, the FBI director. Surely they
- 38:39Speaker 4: would be considering maybe we need to launch a whole
- 38:41Speaker 4: new investigation and perhaps investigate the investigators.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a fair point. I think Pam Bondi has
- 38:49Speaker 2: handled this terribly from the start. She's made so many
- 38:53Speaker 2: statements that are inconsistent in the lead up to this
- 38:58Speaker 2: Epstein files really not being released, the fact that she
- 39:01Speaker 2: even invited conservative influences to the White House to make
- 39:05Speaker 2: this big song and dance and give them these binders
- 39:08Speaker 2: that held no new information really, and treating these influencers
- 39:14Speaker 2: that have been so supportive and loyal to Donald Trump
- 39:17Speaker 2: kind of like fools. And then her press conference yesterday,
- 39:21Speaker 2: I think she also did not sound confident. She was
- 39:25Speaker 2: all over the place. Again, she didn't really have the details.
- 39:29Speaker 2: She was just trying. She's on the back foot here,
- 39:32Speaker 2: and we saw that Donald Trump was supporting her and saying,
- 39:35Speaker 2: are we still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? But yes we are,
- 39:38Speaker 2: and we're going to continue talking about Jeffrey Epstein. This
- 39:41Speaker 2: is not something that is going to go away.
- 39:45Speaker 3: Now, just finally.
- 39:46Speaker 4: Democrat House Minority Leader Harkeem Jeffries has been mocked for
- 39:51Speaker 4: posting an image of himself featuring some awful photo shopping.
- 39:55Speaker 3: Check out this image.
- 39:56Speaker 4: Look at the bench behind him, The bench is leaning
- 39:59Speaker 4: on how it's all warped because gab, it seems like
- 40:04Speaker 4: this middle aged male politician has photoshopped himself to make
- 40:09Speaker 4: him look like.
- 40:09Speaker 3: His cinner, that thinner and fitter than he is.
- 40:13Speaker 2: What is he doing? That is one of the worst
- 40:16Speaker 2: photoshopping jobs I have ever seen. And the fact it's
- 40:19Speaker 2: still up there. You know, people are calling this out
- 40:22Speaker 2: left right and center, and he's still left it on
- 40:24Speaker 2: his Instagram and he's getting absolutely roasted for this. People
- 40:28Speaker 2: can see that he's trying to make his waist a
- 40:30Speaker 2: bit thinner. People are also pointing out that maybe he's
- 40:32Speaker 2: trying to make himself appear a little bit taller. They're
- 40:35Speaker 2: commenting saying there's nothing wrong with being a short king.
- 40:38Speaker 2: Just own it. And others are also saying, if you're
- 40:42Speaker 2: lying about this, what else he lying about? But that
- 40:45Speaker 2: was a terrible photoshopping job by Hakeem Jeffries.
- 40:50Speaker 4: I'm just not comfortable with a male politician being that
- 40:53Speaker 4: vain and being that bad at it. If you're going
- 40:55Speaker 4: to be vain, at least you know, be a little
- 40:57Speaker 4: bit more artful about your deception.
- 41:00Speaker 3: Gabriella Power, always a pleasure. Thanks for your time tonight.
- 41:04Speaker 2: Thanks reader.
- 41:05Speaker 3: Still to come.
- 41:06Speaker 4: A citizen journalist exposing the ugly underbelly of leftist protesters,
- 41:11Speaker 4: Nicholas Shirley joins me. Next joining me now is independent
- 41:26Speaker 4: YouTube journalist Nick Shirley. Nick, I'm a fan of your work,
- 41:30Speaker 4: but for those who haven't seen you at and about,
- 41:33Speaker 4: let's have a look at an example here.
- 41:35Speaker 3: You are being all peaceful and polite while.
- 41:38Speaker 4: Antifa types are trying to intimidate you.
- 41:50Speaker 2: I can be here, sir, Nick.
- 41:58Speaker 3: You were lucky that wasn't much worse.
- 42:00Speaker 4: And I think it wasn't much worse because there were
- 42:02Speaker 4: police officers just a few feet away.
- 42:05Speaker 3: How do you feel being out.
- 42:07Speaker 4: There surrounded by so many people who, let's be honest,
- 42:11Speaker 4: hate you and wouldn't mind taking a swing at you.
- 42:15Speaker 14: Yeah, that's a very strange protest that happened in New
- 42:18Speaker 14: York City. The protesters, for some reason, they identified me,
- 42:21Speaker 14: and there was like I was the worst person that
- 42:23Speaker 14: ever exists for just occupying space or protests, asking them
- 42:27Speaker 14: what they're protesting for.
- 42:30Speaker 3: Oh, this is the thing.
- 42:32Speaker 4: They get so snarky or aggressive. I mean at best snarky,
- 42:37Speaker 4: but at worst they can become violent and throw things
- 42:40Speaker 4: and throw punches.
- 42:42Speaker 3: When you don't antagonize them.
- 42:44Speaker 4: From what I've seen of your work, you don't go
- 42:47Speaker 4: there mocking them or telling them how stupid they are.
- 42:50Speaker 4: You just ask them why they're there, what their cause is,
- 42:54Speaker 4: And yet they are really reluctant to use your platform
- 42:58Speaker 4: to push their views.
- 43:01Speaker 14: Yeah, these protesters were smart. They'd realize that I'm there,
- 43:04Speaker 14: just ask them a question, and I'm giving them a
- 43:06Speaker 14: voice to really voice their opinion to hundreds of thousands
- 43:10Speaker 14: of people, and for some reason they find that I'm
- 43:12Speaker 14: some sort of opposition. Meanwhile, they could make themselves look
- 43:15Speaker 14: really good on camera if they actually knew why they
- 43:17Speaker 14: were protesting.
- 43:20Speaker 4: Absolutely, and that would actually reach an audience that wouldn't
- 43:23Speaker 4: otherwise reach. And your reach is far greater than whatever
- 43:27Speaker 4: podcasts or YouTube channels they may be appearing on. Now,
- 43:31Speaker 4: you attended to a pro Iranian rally and I can't
- 43:34Speaker 4: believe this.
- 43:36Speaker 3: Let's have a look at what happened.
- 43:38Speaker 14: What do you think about what's going on in Iran?
- 43:40Speaker 14: I think the US Israeli war in Iran is an
- 43:42Speaker 14: imperialist war against the country of ninety million people with
- 43:46Speaker 14: a long history of struggle against imperialist depression.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Ma'am, wait, what's going on now?
- 43:52Speaker 12: You're doing?
- 43:52Speaker 9: What your organization is?
- 43:54Speaker 4: My name is Nick Shirley.
- 43:55Speaker 14: H Yes, what's and what?
- 43:58Speaker 4: Ma'am?
- 43:59Speaker 12: Stop it?
- 43:59Speaker 3: Please it again? Incredible stuff.
- 44:02Speaker 4: The ignorance, they're the arrogance, the unpleasantness.
- 44:07Speaker 3: Do you ever get the I don't know.
- 44:09Speaker 4: Do you just ever feel the desire to give these
- 44:11Speaker 4: people some hard truths, particularly when it comes to a
- 44:14Speaker 4: country like Iran, because that guy was obviously completely ignorant
- 44:18Speaker 4: about the country was defending.
- 44:22Speaker 14: Yeah, I mean you really want to and sometimes I do.
- 44:24Speaker 14: I do revital their questions and ask them like, really
- 44:27Speaker 14: you support For instance, you support Iran, they would not
- 44:30Speaker 14: let you exist in their country if you were there, right,
- 44:34Speaker 14: just based off what they allow inside their country and
- 44:37Speaker 14: what they believe in. And so a lot of these
- 44:38Speaker 14: protesters in America, it's just like one weekend, there's one issue.
- 44:41Speaker 14: In the next weekend, there's another issue. Some of those
- 44:44Speaker 14: protesters had signs out from anti Elon Musk protest at
- 44:47Speaker 14: the Iran protest, like do they really know what they're
- 44:50Speaker 14: protesting for? They're just trying to hang out with a
- 44:52Speaker 14: new group for the weekend.
- 44:55Speaker 4: Well, this is what's so crazy about them, because they're
- 44:57Speaker 4: so passionate.
- 44:59Speaker 3: One minute that loved Elon, you know, he.
- 45:01Speaker 4: Was pushing evs and all the global warming crap that
- 45:05Speaker 4: they love. Then they hate him. He's the devil. He's
- 45:08Speaker 4: standing with Trump. And now whether they stand on Elon,
- 45:12Speaker 4: do things? Have the Musk protests stopped completely now that
- 45:15Speaker 4: he's not Donald Trump's best mate.
- 45:19Speaker 14: I think they have, and I think that a lot
- 45:20Speaker 14: of these protesters are worn out. You haven't seen that
- 45:23Speaker 14: many protests the past few weeks, and if you are,
- 45:26Speaker 14: the numbers are doing the because they're realizing that Trump
- 45:29Speaker 14: doesn't really care too much. I mean, they can call
- 45:31Speaker 14: him the king, but at the end of the day,
- 45:33Speaker 14: he wakes up the next day and he's not a king.
- 45:35Speaker 14: That it doesn't really make sense why they're protesting sometimes.
- 45:40Speaker 4: Now, I do like this clip That've got a veteran
- 45:42Speaker 4: officer here telling all these feral lefties to not lay
- 45:46Speaker 4: a hand on you.
- 45:49Speaker 10: And this is the worst time.
- 45:50Speaker 14: I'm telling you.
- 45:50Speaker 10: If anything touches the guy again, and I'm sending guys in.
- 45:52Speaker 6: We're going to rush.
- 45:54Speaker 2: It's not we're rutching behind.
- 46:15Speaker 4: Just about all of them are wearing masks in twenty
- 46:17Speaker 4: twenty five outdoors.
- 46:19Speaker 3: I mean, that tells you, That tells you plenty.
- 46:22Speaker 4: But how important is the work you do in bringing
- 46:26Speaker 4: some transparency to what's really happening at these protests because
- 46:30Speaker 4: we often don't see mainstream media in amongst the protesters
- 46:34Speaker 4: like you are, and it really gives you an insight
- 46:37Speaker 4: into who these people are.
- 46:39Speaker 3: And how they operate.
- 46:42Speaker 14: Yeah, I think it's actually extremely important work what I'm
- 46:44Speaker 14: trying to do here on my YouTube channel to show
- 46:46Speaker 14: people the reality of things as they really are and
- 46:48Speaker 14: going into these locations and just simply being there and
- 46:51Speaker 14: asking the questions about what their sign means or why
- 46:54Speaker 14: they're there, and it's self revealing. Like you saw in
- 46:58Speaker 14: that New York City video, NYBT had to come in
- 47:01Speaker 14: and back me up because what people don't see underneath
- 47:05Speaker 14: that behind the camera, those protesters were asso kicking me,
- 47:09Speaker 14: They're throwing water on me, and NYBD saw that I
- 47:13Speaker 14: was really no harm to anybody, and these people were
- 47:15Speaker 14: coming after me for literally no reason other than that
- 47:19Speaker 14: I was just existing in their space in that I
- 47:23Speaker 14: was there.
- 47:24Speaker 4: Well, when it comes to antifa types, I think you
- 47:27Speaker 4: do do harm to their cause because you show just.
- 47:30Speaker 3: How vile and aggressive and well.
- 47:33Speaker 4: Really they're the ones acting like fascists despite calling themselves Antifa.
- 47:37Speaker 4: And we saw Andy No do some really important work.
- 47:41Speaker 4: Citizen journalists work in the same space, and I think
- 47:45Speaker 4: you've got to be careful too, because he ended up
- 47:48Speaker 4: suffering a fairly serious assault at the hands of these animals,
- 47:52Speaker 4: and they don't like you these activists, but the cops
- 47:56Speaker 4: do appear to be on your side. We saw that, Cliff,
- 47:58Speaker 4: And here's another one where you're amongst anti ice protesters
- 48:02Speaker 4: and law enforcement gives them some sage words of advice.
- 48:08Speaker 14: It's not really safe for you, I know, but it's important.
- 48:14Speaker 2: Yeah, again, it's just getting to.
- 48:23Speaker 14: Hair on it.
- 48:25Speaker 4: Well, no, the cops were giving you some sage words
- 48:27Speaker 4: of advisor. After that, they had to escort you out
- 48:30Speaker 4: of there because those so called peaceful protesters could have
- 48:34Speaker 4: followed you and bashed you on your way home.
- 48:37Speaker 3: How worried are.
- 48:38Speaker 4: You about the risk to your safety, not just having
- 48:43Speaker 4: water chucked on your mean words, but some physical harm
- 48:47Speaker 4: coming to you.
- 48:49Speaker 14: It is getting increasingly dangerous. However, do you feel like
- 48:52Speaker 14: I'm not posing a threat. I would never put my
- 48:55Speaker 14: hand on one of these protesters. I would never do
- 48:57Speaker 14: any harm to them. People are becoming unhinged. Somebody did
- 49:02Speaker 14: die in my hometown in Utah at a protest because
- 49:04Speaker 14: a person did pull out a rifle lot when these protests.
- 49:08Speaker 14: So these are getting increasingly dangerous and I do have
- 49:10Speaker 14: to be more precautious as temperaments are rising here inside
- 49:14Speaker 14: the United States with these radical groups. These are not democrats,
- 49:19Speaker 14: these are not republicans. These are radical leftists, if you
- 49:26Speaker 14: can want to even call them that.
- 49:30Speaker 4: And they've become very, very boldened in recent years. I've
- 49:34Speaker 4: got away with a lot. We saw that at the
- 49:35Speaker 4: BLM protest and other protests since, and I think they're
- 49:40Speaker 4: going to realize things have changed in America.
- 49:42Speaker 3: Nick Shirley, thank you so much for your time tonight.
- 49:45Speaker 3: Thank you very much, and that's it for mail.
- 49:49Speaker 4: See you tomorrow night for lefties losing it at nine,
- 49:52Speaker 4: News Night is up next
