- 0:00Speaker 2: Welcome to the Christian homemaking podcast, Simply Convivial.
- 0:04I'm Misty Winkler, homemaker, homeschooling mom of five, grandma
- 0:08of two so far, author of Simplified Organization: Learn to Love What Must be
- 0:14Done, and host here at Simply Convivial.
- 0:17Convivial means enjoying life together, and that's the kind of
- 0:22homes that we want to be building.
- 0:24My mission is to see as many women as possible become engaged, competent,
- 0:29cheerful Christian homemakers.
- 0:32And today I'm joined by another longtime homemaker, blogger,
- 0:37and podcaster, Marci Farrell.
- 0:40Marci is a follower of Jesus who shares gospel-driven encouragement
- 0:44for homemakers through her blog and podcast at thankfulhomemaker.com.
- 0:50Her debut book is just now out.
- 0:53It's called Homemaking Matters: Living for God's Glory in the Ordinary.
- 0:58She's been married to her husband, Doug, since 1986, and they have two
- 1:03grown children and three grandchildren.
- 1:06Marci enjoys caring for her home, studying God's Word, reading, and
- 1:10helping women embrace the eternal purpose in their everyday homemaking.
- 1:15So thank you so much for c- coming today, Marci.
- 1:18Speaker 3: It's so good to be here with you, Misty.
- 1:20Thank you for having me.
- 1:21Yeah.
- 1:21It's an honor for me to be here with you.
- 1:23Speaker 2: So I would love to just start with you sharing- Your, your testimony
- 1:29about- Mm-hmm ⦠coming to the Lord, but also then in the context of the home.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:35I'm gonna, I'm gonna come and come in the middle of it a little bit
- 1:38maybe- Yeah ⦠and bring that in.
- 1:39But, um, because Iâ¦
- 1:41Homemaking was something thatâ¦
- 1:43I come from thisâ¦
- 1:44I always laugh.
- 1:44I come from this line of full-time homemakers, like it was my mom and
- 1:47my grandmother and my aunts, and then even my mother-in-law were
- 1:50just, they were full-time homemakers.
- 1:53And of all of them, I always say my grandmother probably had the
- 1:57biggest influence on me, and then later in life, my husband's mom
- 2:00because she was, she was a believer.
- 2:02So, but my grandma was the big one because my mom and I lived
- 2:06with her for quite a few years.
- 2:07My, my parents were divorced, and my mom and I moved in with my grandma.
- 2:11And sheâ¦
- 2:12My mom went to work, and Grandma took care of me.
- 2:13So I just got to hang with her in the kitchen, and she loved to cook
- 2:17and clean and s- feed people, and just, um, she was just a delight.
- 2:22Sheâ¦
- 2:23I just neverâ¦
- 2:24One thing about my grandma that has always stuck with me, especially as a believer,
- 2:27because as far as I know, my grandma was, was not a believer, which always makes my
- 2:32heart sad, but I always have hope there.
- 2:33I don't know what happened in her final moments of life.
- 2:35But she was so cheerful, soâ¦
- 2:38And so content, and never complained about anything.
- 2:41Mm-hmm.
- 2:41So when I was a little girl, I always looked forward to having my
- 2:45own home, and I always thought of living like my grandma, just caring
- 2:48for my home and loving my family.
- 2:50And so when I married my husband, Doug, I was 20 years old, and I just
- 2:56really felt like I was stepping into that dream of Grandma's life, right?
- 2:59I loved tidying the house before he came home and planning our meals
- 3:03and caring just for all the little details of our life together.
- 3:06So, but as our family grew and became fuller, I learned that all that enthusiasm
- 3:12was really not enough to sustain me.
- 3:14So, um, my Doug traveled a lot for work, and I would find myself
- 3:19just in this panic of getting things ready before he came home.
- 3:23Um, meal planning and cleaning, it just started to become really stressful.
- 3:27And my grandmother, as a married woman, was super practical for me.
- 3:31Sheâ¦
- 3:31I could call herâ¦
- 3:32I think I did call her almost every day, Misty, like just- Yeah
- 3:35for those early years because w- weâ¦
- 3:37I always laugh and say we had no internet then, so it was- Right.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Yes.
- 3:42Speaker 3: You know, that's, you called family.
- 3:43So I did become better at managing my home and my tasks.
- 3:48Um- But it took me a lot longer to understand that homemaking
- 3:51wasn't just about my productivity and everything looking good.
- 3:54It was about the posture of my heart.
- 3:56And this is where for the first 15 years of my marriage, I was not a believer.
- 4:01So my home was void of Christ.
- 4:03I lived without Jesus.
- 4:04And I, I probably would have said before that, that about homemaking, I guess,
- 4:10that it would be, um, it would have been about me and how my home looked and
- 4:15what that looked like to others outside.
- 4:17And if my, my identity would have been tied up to being a homemaker and a
- 4:22wife and a mom and how well I did that.
- 4:24That's what I would have looked at.
- 4:26But when God, in His mercy, when He saved me, He simply didn't help me to
- 4:31just become a better homemaker or just give me that positive enthusiasticness
- 4:36about the work necessarily, because the work didn't change.
- 4:38But He, but He rescued me from my sin, and He gave me a new heart, and then He
- 4:42began to renew my mind through His Word.
- 4:44And I, as I read Scripture and I grew in my walk, I really began to understand
- 4:49that all of my life belonged to Christ, that homemaking w- wasn't something
- 4:53separate from my Christian life, but things like the meals and the laundry
- 4:56and those relationships and those lovely interruptions that we have were
- 5:00just some of the very places where I was learning to live out my faith.
- 5:03So again, the, the outward work, it's not like that became easier,
- 5:07but the Lord began changing my heart and the way that I saw it.
- 5:11And so He showed me how often frustration was rooted from me wanting my own
- 5:16way or when work went unnoticed, which we all know as wives and moms,
- 5:22most of our work does go unnoticed.
- 5:23People don't see what we're doing.
- 5:25But I could see my selfishness, like how much I wanted appreciation or
- 5:29that pat on the back or great job, so.
- 5:32Or even things like when my day didn't go as planned, that I could see
- 5:36how tightly I wanted to control it.
- 5:38So, and again, this, I'm st- I say it's not an overnight change.
- 5:42It's, it's still not a change.
- 5:43The Lord's still patiently working in my heart and showing me within
- 5:47every season of homemaking now, even, even this empty nest season
- 5:51I'm in, um, I think about that.
- 5:53Just after 40 years of marriage, He's still, He's still using my home
- 5:57to show me where I'm holding too tightly to my comfort, um, or having
- 6:01things a certain way or my plans.
- 6:03But, but what I love is that God, He doesn't leave us there, right?
- 6:06And that He graciously brings you back to Christ, and I'm so grateful.
- 6:11I, I always say like one of the things as wives and moms is that
- 6:14we need good, sound theology.
- 6:16I always love that in Titus 2 where Timothy talks about sound
- 6:19doctrine before he gets to Titus 2, because that really grounds us.
- 6:24And I know that when I've failed, I can come back to Christ, I can confess my sin,
- 6:29I can receive forgiveness, and I can ask Him to keep making me more like Christ.
- 6:32So Through the Lord saving me, one of the aspects is that was my homemaking
- 6:37became more than just, just a checklist, it, or, or a way to express myself.
- 6:41But it was now a way to serve my family and love the people God had given me,
- 6:45and to bring Him glory in and through it.
- 6:47And I know in, in the midst of that, He was making me more like Christ.
- 6:51So I know that was probably longer than you wanted there.
- 6:54No, that- But that just, it justâ¦
- 6:56Yeah, I'm just kinda grateful that, um, just the reminder He's not just working
- 7:01in our homes, He's working in us too.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:04It's so easy to compartmentalize our life.
- 7:08And it's like, "Okay, well, you know, I did my 30 minutes of
- 7:10devotions, and then I have to do my 30-minute checklist, and then we're
- 7:15gonna go do these other things."
- 7:16And sometimes they don't tie together in the way that we live things
- 7:23out or the way we even think about them, but they do all tie together.
- 7:29We, we are the same person in all of those different areas of life.
- 7:35And Christ is Lord of them all, and working through- Mm-hmm ⦠all those
- 7:40different responsibilities in our lives.
- 7:44Um-
- 7:45Speaker 3: I love that
- 7:46⦠Speaker 2: so to just let that all touch and flow.
- 7:49Speaker 3: It's so good because He does.
- 7:50There's purpose in everything that we're doing, and sometimes we, we miss it.
- 7:54You know, we take our eyes off of Him.
- 7:56And it was, um, Jerry Bridges had such a good quote where he talked
- 8:00about that even as believers, we're all, we're all guilty of ungodliness.
- 8:05And really, what all that is is that I'm just going about my day and I'm,
- 8:08I'm not thinking about the Lord, that I'm not focused on Him at all.
- 8:11And weâ¦
- 8:13You know, I fall into that really often, especially on busy days when you're just
- 8:16going from task to task or thing to thing, and I'm not taking a moment to really even
- 8:21just stop and love the person in front of me sometimes- Mm-hmm ⦠well, you
- 8:24know, to give them my undivided attention.
- 8:26I can get very task-focused, and I know that's an area of mine
- 8:30that I have to be cautious of, so.
- 8:33Yeah.
- 8:33I'm sure there's other people out there like me.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Yes.
- 8:36So y- in your book, you talk about the home being more a place for
- 8:42ministry and sanctification, and not just personal expression.
- 8:48And you also just said s- the work still stays the same.
- 8:52So what is that perspective shift, and what does change even
- 8:57with, you know, still scrubbing toilets, still making dinner?
- 9:01What is that real shift in seeing it as a ministry rather than personal expression?
- 9:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:10Iâ¦
- 9:11Like, when I think of that, I think there's nothing wrong with
- 9:14we want beauty in our homes, right?
- 9:16And ourâ¦
- 9:16We can show, like, our different personalities.
- 9:19Um, they can show in our homes how we do things, andâ¦
- 9:22'Cause I enjoy those things.
- 9:24I love a tidy home, and I love flowers, and I think of how beauty is such
- 9:27a gift from God, and to even create that pleasant atmosphere for people.
- 9:32But Iâ¦
- 9:32Sometimes the problem can come when that personal expression, um,
- 9:38becomes the main purpose for my home.
- 9:40And if I become too focused on having everything look the way I want it to, then
- 9:45I can begin treating the people in my home as if they're kinda getting in the way.
- 9:48Um , they are the very people I'm supposed to be loving and serving.
- 9:52So I have to come back and just, um- Probably asks whether the way that I'm
- 9:58caring for my home is helping me love the people God has entrusted to me, or whether
- 10:02this order and appearance have become more important than the people themselves.
- 10:07And I can see this in my life now because I'm an empty nester now.
- 10:10So with just Doug and I at home, um, it is really easier to keep things picked up and
- 10:16to have this fairly predictable pattern of life right now, and I, I enjoy that.
- 10:21I, I, I get used to having things a certain way.
- 10:23But then our grandchildren come over, or this summer we had a, a missionary
- 10:27family stay with us for a couple weeks with little kids, and suddenly there's,
- 10:31like, shoes by the door and games in the living room and, and you know what?
- 10:35Fingerprints all over the patio door glass Yes.
- 10:38More dishes, right?
- 10:39And those are lovely things.
- 10:41They mean my home is being lived in, and it's used to love on and
- 10:45welcome people, and I adoreâ¦
- 10:46I love that.
- 10:47I love having my grandchildren over.
- 10:48But I can still notice that little resistance in my heart sometimes, Misty,
- 10:53like when, when my, the order that I'm used to is disturbed a little bit.
- 10:58So God begins to use those moments in me to show me how easily that I
- 11:01can value comforts or the condition of my home more than the people.
- 11:06And, um, again, it's not wrong to desire a peaceful, orderly home, by all means.
- 11:11I am so grateful for that.
- 11:12But th- that good desire can quietly become a demand to have things my way.
- 11:18And I think of, um, Philippians 2 so often.
- 11:21Just it reminds us not to look to our own interests but to the interests of others.
- 11:24And, and then it points us to the humility of Christ there.
- 11:27So that applies really in our homes.
- 11:30And, um, sometimes love means welcoming the shoes and the games and the crumbs
- 11:36and the fingerprints and all the other things that come with loving on people
- 11:39because they belong to the people thatâ¦
- 11:42Actually, I think about we get the joy of loving them.
- 11:44Like, it's an honor to get to love them.
- 11:46So m- my peace can't be in the condition of my home, right?
- 11:52It has to be found in Christ.
- 11:55And because I belong to Him, then I can hold that home He's given me with an
- 11:59open hand, and I'm, I'm just learning that more and more in my life with time.
- 12:03So, um, the home is meant to serve people, right?
- 12:07And the people are there not to maintain my vision of the home.
- 12:11So I just, I want people at the end, even though I can have my personal expression
- 12:17and do that, I want people to remember they were loved in my home and not
- 12:21how carefully they had to live in it.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Yeah, right.
- 12:25Speaker 3: I don't know that I answered that fully, so let me-
- 12:27Speaker 2: No ⦠yeah Yeah.
- 12:28No, that's great, and I, I love how you said that when you are using your
- 12:33home for other people and loving other people- Mm-hmm ⦠that that's actually
- 12:38enjoyable You know, it's not just s- our home being used for service isn't just,
- 12:44isn't only giving things up in a way that always subtracts or, um, makes it all a
- 12:53drudgery for o- because we're, we're doing it for other people and not ourselves.
- 12:58But when we give ourselves in that way- You know, we are also encouraged
- 13:03and given the joy of the Lord in that service and ministry too.
- 13:08Speaker 3: I love that when you say that, 'cause I think when people, no different
- 13:12when we're showing hospitality, usually we're the ones that are more blessed- Yeah
- 13:16⦠by the end of those evenings, you know?
- 13:17Um, and the work, it, it be- it becomes nothing.
- 13:21You know, I get it.
- 13:21It is work and it does take time to plan and put things together,
- 13:24but in the end, we probably gain the most from it in those times.
- 13:27So it's so good.
- 13:29Mm-hmm.
- 13:29It is so good.
- 13:30Yeah.
- 13:31Speaker 2: So does that approach to homemaking as a ministry then
- 13:37change anything practically in how we go about it in serving others and
- 13:44not just, you know, that control of others or control of the situation?
- 13:49How do we make that shift?
- 13:50Or what does that look like practically?
- 13:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:53I'm working through, think processing that.
- 13:54So really when we hear, I think of ministry because when we think of
- 14:00ministry, we think of aspects outside our home, but- Mm-hmm ⦠the homemaking,
- 14:04the practical, and, and just stop me if I'm not going the right way here.
- 14:08But I'm c- what's coming to my mind is thing like the meals and the laundry
- 14:11and the cleaning and just the everyday things we do so often that, you know,
- 14:16we can picture teaching a Bible study is ministry or- Right ⦠doing something
- 14:20outside our home, uh, within the church, where really our ministry is at home.
- 14:25And I, I know as a young wife and mother, especially when I became to be a new
- 14:29believer, I really ⦠You know, my kids were young then, so my days were filled
- 14:35with packing lunches and running errands and doing the normal things we do.
- 14:39And I felt like I was just trying to keep up, and then I go to church, and
- 14:43these women are doing all these things.
- 14:44Yeah.
- 14:44And I'm like, "What am I doing?
- 14:46I'm not-- I'm just taking care of my family."
- 14:48But that, those are the times that God is starting to show me that this family
- 14:53is part of that ministry He's given me to take care of, and it is very practical.
- 14:57Um, I didn't need to get the household basically work out of the way, m- the
- 15:03household work was the meaningful work, too, for Him, and caring for my family
- 15:07and giving me opportunities to even love my nearest neighbors and serve
- 15:12Christ right where He had placed me.
- 15:13And that was very freeing to come to a point to understand, and
- 15:16actually it was an older woman in my church who helped me with that.
- 15:18So I'm so grateful for her.
- 15:20Yeah.
- 15:20That was a good thing to, um, to be pointed out to me,
- 15:23and I was grateful for that.
- 15:25I needed some correcting on that as a young believer.
- 15:27Um, so I always tell, I always tell all of us we have to stay
- 15:31teachable because it's so good.
- 15:33We can have those logs in our eyes and, you know, we just miss it.
- 15:37So I'm grateful for that.
- 15:38We may not like it right away, but when we hear it and it's truth, it's good to
- 15:42come to submit to it and, um- And make those changes to line up with God's word.
- 15:47But I- Misty, like we forget preparing a meal is caring for someone, and- Yeah
- 15:52washing clothes, you know, that meets a need.
- 15:55Um, making a home where my husband can come home after a really long day and know
- 16:00that he's loved and taken care of, and he is looking forward to being there because
- 16:04it is, it is sort of a, a, a respite for him or a retreat that he can come to.
- 16:09And when I say that, it doesn't mean like there's not noise and
- 16:12there's not toys on the floor.
- 16:14All those things can still happen, but it's really the love that we have
- 16:17for one another and how to come home to a place where you know you are
- 16:21loved and cared for, and the people there are so happy to be with you.
- 16:25Um, and sometimes ministry can be as simple as setting aside your to-do
- 16:31list to just meet the needs of that person in front of you, and that's
- 16:35something that, um, God has really continued to grow me in a little better
- 16:39because as I shared earlier, I am very task-focused and I can miss that slowing
- 16:44down, and I t- I don't wanna do that 'cause I wanna love my people well.
- 16:49So- Mm-hmm ⦠um, yeah.
- 16:51I guess I would kind of land there with that, just-
- 16:54Speaker: Mm-hmm
- 16:55⦠Speaker 3: how ministry begins really loving the people closest to me is
- 16:59a big- Yeah ⦠it's, that's huge.
- 17:02Speaker: Um.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I know I, I knew theoretically when, you know, all the
- 17:06kids were little and at home, and that's so busy and intense that well, you
- 17:11know, this is, this is my calling and this is my job and this is loving them.
- 17:15But it isâ¦
- 17:17Once they're grown and then they're off living their own lives, I think
- 17:22that's when it kind of hits you how much- You know, that pouring
- 17:26into them really was an investment.
- 17:28Like, you put in, um, you put in a lot of yourself, but then you
- 17:34see it, like it's what they're drawing on and making more of.
- 17:40Mm-hmm.
- 17:40And, um, you know, more people out in the world living, you know, for Christ
- 17:47and then raising their own families.
- 17:49And you're like, "Okay, wow . Like, all those little meals, all the little peanut
- 17:53butter sandwiches or whatever made a man.
- 17:56Like, whoa, that was actually really incredible."
- 17:59Speaker 3: Oh, it was so worth it how God used you in the life of your children,
- 18:04and I'm sure there's so much they took from you just watching and modeling.
- 18:07And none of us does it perfectly, like we know that.
- 18:10Mm-hmm.
- 18:10And that's r- I'm so grateful for God's grace, that He, He
- 18:13doesn't leave us where we're at.
- 18:14He continues to change us and- Yeah ⦠show us areas where we
- 18:17need growth, and that is so good.
- 18:18And those are good things for our kids to see as we're
- 18:21raising them, I think so often.
- 18:23Um, to see that Mommy needs Jesus as much as the next person does.
- 18:27Mm-hmm.
- 18:27That Mommy doesn't have it all together.
- 18:29So.
- 18:29Yes.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Because the same is true for them as well throughout their life.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:34Yep.
- 18:35I did, you kinda touched on the sanctifying.
- 18:37Can we come back to that a little bit?
- 18:39Yeah, yeah.
- 18:39Just how the homeâ¦
- 18:39I, because the, just talking through that about Mommy needs Jesus was just-
- 18:44Mm-hmm ⦠but I, uh, for me, my home and my family, I mean, this is one of the most
- 18:49sanctifying places of my life, really.
- 18:51Yeah.
- 18:51Um, because even after being a homemaker for 40 years now, the,
- 18:56God is still using it to show me my heart and how much I need Christ.
- 18:59And I, I can be easy to think I'm really patient until someone
- 19:03interrupts the plans I had for the day.
- 19:05Well, that doesn't mean thatâ¦
- 19:07I always say that that's just showing what's already in
- 19:09my heart that's coming out.
- 19:10That, you know, that's not somebody coming to me and they're
- 19:14causing me to be impatient.
- 19:15It's like, no, that was already in there, and that came out,
- 19:17and I'm grateful because now I can do something with it, right?
- 19:21Yeah.
- 19:21I can repent of it and move forward and grow from that.
- 19:24Um, I, I think sometimes I may feel content with my home, and I don't do
- 19:30this as much as I used to, but when, when Pinterest came out, that was
- 19:33a big one for me as a younger mom.
- 19:36Um, I'm notâ¦
- 19:37I, I feel like as I've aged, I'm trying toâ¦
- 19:39I'm, I'm trying to get there.
- 19:40We're trying to get rid of things, so I don't really want- ⦠to
- 19:42add more to my home anymore.
- 19:44It's just I'm thinking about my poor children when I'm not here one day.
- 19:48So, but how easy people can scroll, and you start comparing
- 19:52your life to somebody else's.
- 19:54And, um, again, that, that is just revealing that there's something
- 19:59there in your heart already.
- 20:01And so as the Lord shows us those things, whether it's discontentment
- 20:05or our impatience or our desire for control, um- I know for me sometimes
- 20:11in, in those things, I can respond with frustration or irritation first.
- 20:15But as God brings me back to His Word, it just reminds me that He's
- 20:20doing something deeper in me than just showing me what's not right.
- 20:24He's showing me the right way.
- 20:26And so when He shows me my sin, He doesn't do it to drive me
- 20:30away or shame me by any means.
- 20:32I mean, that's when I need to draw close.
- 20:34So for those of us in Christ, again, we know Romans 8:1,
- 20:37there is no more condemnation.
- 20:38He, He is our Abba Father, and He's our perfect Father who loves us.
- 20:42And I, I love the doctrine of adoption because that is such a comforting
- 20:45one, along with His sovereignty.
- 20:46But He, He lovingly brings me into the light so I can confess those things,
- 20:51repent, ask His forgiveness, and then help ⦠Again, then the next time, ask
- 20:55Him to help me respond more like Christ.
- 20:57And that's part of sanctification.
- 20:59It's just Him making us more like Jesus.
- 21:02And the more we're like Jesus, the more we're gonna reflect Jesus
- 21:05to those within our own homes.
- 21:06And that's where our lives are lived for the most part.
- 21:09It's, it's in the dishes and the laundry and the raising our
- 21:13children and loving our husbands.
- 21:14So, um, that is just huge to just be mindful of that, that I can't
- 21:20measure my homemaking by did I finish the laundry, or did I make the
- 21:25meal, or did I get through the list.
- 21:27Those things do matter, but God is doing work in us that we don't see immediately.
- 21:32So He's teaching us to depend on Him, and I am grateful for that.
- 21:36And it may be slow at times, and that's okay.
- 21:39We don't ⦠I always say even, um, a lot of times when women compare, I, I
- 21:45always come back to the truth that God knows what's needed in my life to make
- 21:48me more like Jesus, just like He knows what's needed in your life, Misty.
- 21:51Right.
- 21:51And it's not the same thing.
- 21:52Mm-hmm.
- 21:53And I can trust Him in that.
- 21:55So He's gonna be faithful to complete the work that He began in me, basically.
- 21:59Yes.
- 21:59That's a great reminder to us.
- 22:02Yes.
- 22:02So, well, so good.
- 22:05I'm so grateful.
- 22:07I know.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
- 22:08I, um, so these, you know, homemaking as sanctification is,
- 22:15uh, a key theme in your new book.
- 22:17So tell people who the book is for and then where they can find it.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:22So Homemaking Matters is really for women in all different seasons because if we
- 22:26have a home, we're a homemaker Mm-hmm ⦠and we're opening our homes to others.
- 22:30So they can find it anywhere books are sold really.
- 22:33Amazon, um, Barnes & Noble, Walmart.
- 22:37Wherever you buy your books online they can find it.
- 22:39Or they can go to homemakingmatters.com
- 22:41and find it there too.
- 22:42So I appreciate that, that Misty.
- 22:44But it's really how God is working in us to use our ordinary days to
- 22:48bring him honor and glory, and in the midst of that how he's molding us
- 22:51more and more into Christ likeness.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Yes, and we need that encouragement- Mm ⦠over and over again
- 22:57as we- Yeah ⦠every stage of the journey because, yeah, God keeps revealing new
- 23:02things and teaching us new things- Mm
- 23:04all along the way.
- 23:05So thank you so much.
- 23:07So good.
- 23:07And I'll have links for all of that in the episode description, so be sure to
- 23:11check those out and grab Marcy's new book.
- 23:14So thank you so much Marcy for coming today.
- 23:17Speaker 3: Thank you so much, Misty, for having me.
- 23:18This was a treat to be here with you.
- 23:20Thank you.
