Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: I want to go back and talk about something we
- 0:01Speaker 1: just talked about, but I want to elaborate more on it.
- 0:04Speaker 1: It's Light FM, Cubby, Christine, producer Kristen. What were you
- 0:07Speaker 1: saying now? There are certain things you could check off,
- 0:10Speaker 1: and if you check off a lot of these, you're
- 0:12Speaker 1: considered kind of rich?
- 0:13Speaker 2: You're upper class and you may not know it.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Upper class, yeah.
- 0:16Speaker 2: But I think you know it. But anyway, yeah, and
- 0:18Speaker 2: this is like according to Money Digest. Like if you
- 0:20Speaker 2: have a home cleaning service, a personal shopper, a full
- 0:24Speaker 2: service groundskeeper, a private chef, a personal trainer, private security,
- 0:28Speaker 2: a chauffeur.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Now I have two of those things. Does that mean
- 0:31Speaker 3: I'm rich?
- 0:32Speaker 2: Which two?
- 0:32Speaker 1: Well, I have a housekeeper and I have a landscaping
- 0:35Speaker 1: company because I'm not going to cut the grass. Right.
- 0:37Speaker 2: But you don't have like a housekeeper like Alice on
- 0:40Speaker 2: Brady Bunch.
- 0:40Speaker 3: Oh, like a live-in? No, no, no, no.
- 0:43Speaker 2: No, like I have. um, somebody coming every two weeks.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Oh, that doesn't count.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Yeah. That doesn't make me upper class.
- 0:48Speaker 3: You need someone that's there and making meals. Yes. Kind
- 0:51Speaker 3: of clean it all day long.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Oh, please.
- 0:54Speaker 3: Making the bed.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Please, please do that. Like with this universe here, you cubby,
- 0:58Speaker 2: I need help. Um, yeah, I was just thinking if
- 1:01Speaker 2: you could have one of those, you could only choose one.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Which would it be? Would you want a private chef? See,
- 1:10Speaker 2: Would you want a personal trainer?
- 1:13Speaker 1: It'd be between that and a housekeeper. But the housekeeper,
- 1:16Speaker 1: like you mentioned, like an Alice from Brady Bunch.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:18Speaker 3: That could be a chef too.
- 1:19Speaker 2: She's like, well, Alice did everything.
- 1:21Speaker 3: She really did.
- 1:21Speaker 2: She was amazing.
- 1:22Speaker 1: And I always thought that the Brady Bunch had a
- 1:24Speaker 1: cool house because they had a grill inside the kitchen.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Anyway. That was awesome.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Sorry about that one.
- 1:30Speaker 2: But no, that's okay. So if you had to choose one,
- 1:34Speaker 2: I know, so you have housekeeping coming in like every
- 1:37Speaker 2: couple of weeks. Yes. I think a lot of us
- 1:39Speaker 2: do now.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Are you going housekeeping?
- 1:41Speaker 2: No. I said before I need a personal assistant.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Oh, you said that.
- 1:45Speaker 2: I want one so bad.
- 1:47Speaker 3: How about you, Kristen? What are you doing?
- 1:49Speaker 2: I want a nanny.
- 1:49Speaker 3: You want a nanny.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Oh, Kristen wants a nanny.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Of course.
- 1:52Speaker 2: That makes sense.
- 1:53Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Well, text us at 44363 because we're going to pick
- 1:56Speaker 1: somebody at random and give you what you asked for.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Oh, that would be really nice. Well, maybe if they
- 2:02Speaker 2: want to chauffeur because, you know, you're good with getting
- 2:04Speaker 2: the kids to their appointments and everything.
- 2:06Speaker 3: And I did drive for Lyft for a whole two weeks. Oh,
- 2:08Speaker 3: you did? Can you believe that?
- 2:10Speaker 2: What happened? Did you burn out or you just?
- 2:12Speaker 1: Well, I realized that you don't know where you're going
- 2:15Speaker 1: until you pick somebody up.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
- 2:17Speaker 3: And I thought it'd be fun. This is before kids.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:19Speaker 3: And I thought it'd be fun to just, because I
- 2:21Speaker 3: like driving. Right.
- 2:22Speaker 1: So my wife said, why don't you just do Uber
- 2:24Speaker 1: or Lyft? I don't know why I picked Lyft, but
- 2:26Speaker 1: I picked Lyft and they were fine. And I picked
- 2:29Speaker 1: people up in my neighborhood. And you don't know where
- 2:31Speaker 1: you're going until you get in the car and you
- 2:32Speaker 1: hit a button. So you could be in New Jersey
- 2:35Speaker 1: and boom, you got to go to Queens and you
- 2:37Speaker 1: already have the person in your car.
- 2:38Speaker 3: You can't cancel the ride.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Get out.
- 2:42Speaker 3: That was like six years ago.
- 2:43Speaker 1: So I don't know if it's changed, but I'm pretty
- 2:44Speaker 1: sure you don't know the route you're going until they
- 2:47Speaker 1: get in the car. But I did a lot of
- 2:49Speaker 1: Newark runs. I had East Brunswick to Newark a lot,
- 2:53Speaker 1: which I didn't mind that. But I'd be on the
- 2:54Speaker 1: turnpike again at 4 o'clock, 5 o'clock in the afternoon.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Oh, that's stressful. That was stressful. But anyway.
- 2:58Speaker 2: No, this would be a chauffeur, so it wouldn't matter.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Where you want to go or what you want to do.
- 3:03Speaker 2: This person is there.
- 3:05Speaker 3: We look forward to hearing from you. Light FM.
