- 0:35Speaker 2: I'm good.
- 0:35Speaker 5: I had an emotional night though. Remember I told you
- 0:37Speaker 5: guys it was going to be my last hang with
- 0:39Speaker 5: my niece Carly before she goes to college tomorrow.
- 0:43Speaker 1: That's weird to me.
- 0:44Speaker 5: I know, she's almost nineteen.
- 0:47Speaker 1: I know.
- 0:47Speaker 4: We just remember when you know, you left one day
- 0:50Speaker 4: when we were doing the show because she was.
- 0:52Speaker 5: Being born almost nineteen years ago. Yeah, while she's headed
- 0:56Speaker 5: to college tomorrow. So we had dinner last night and
- 0:59Speaker 5: I just had to put all my sunglasses to say
- 1:01Speaker 5: bye to her because I was just so emotional. And
- 1:05Speaker 5: I decided I was gonna get her a card or
- 1:07Speaker 5: like flowers or something like that. But I was like,
- 1:08Speaker 5: you know what, I'm gonna go sit down with a
- 1:10Speaker 5: piece of paper and write her a letter, like old
- 1:12Speaker 5: school letter. So I wrote her a handwritten, full page letter,
- 1:16Speaker 5: just saying, you know, if you ever need me, you
- 1:18Speaker 5: can call me anytime of day. I've got your back,
- 1:20Speaker 5: Like I love you so much, all the things that like,
- 1:22Speaker 5: I just like like that. Wouldn't have time to just
- 1:25Speaker 5: tell her in person.
- 1:26Speaker 1: And she gets to keep that forever.
- 1:27Speaker 5: Yeah, And I told her, you know, it's nothing big,
- 1:29Speaker 5: It's just something something I wanted to write down for you.
- 1:33Speaker 5: There's no money in here, Like your heads up.
- 1:35Speaker 2: There's no money, yes, like you know, yeah you.
- 1:38Speaker 5: Did that for graduation, but you know what I mean,
- 1:40Speaker 5: just to let her know, like you just read it
- 1:42Speaker 5: whenever you get into your dorm room or you have
- 1:44Speaker 5: a quiet moment or you're in the car.
- 1:46Speaker 1: That's special.
- 1:47Speaker 5: Yeah. So yeah, I wrote a note yesterday and it
- 1:50Speaker 5: felt good. But I'm just I can't believe she's headed
- 1:53Speaker 5: to college. I know, O kill for all the parents.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Yeah, that's got to be emotional. I'm not looking forward
- 1:58Speaker 1: to that day.
- 1:59Speaker 5: Decorating the RM room and then just driving away.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna be a rat.
- 2:04Speaker 5: So anyone else who's going through this because it's not easy.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm just the ants.
- 2:08Speaker 1: A lot of parents, I know.
- 2:09Speaker 4: But you're very involved in Yeah, which is cool that
- 2:12Speaker 4: you are like that and have that relationship.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure, for you can't.
- 2:15Speaker 4: It's well, that's sweet and very emotional. I saw the
- 2:17Speaker 4: picture and I was like, how is this even happening?
- 2:19Speaker 4: I know makes me feel old. Producer Pho is here,
- 2:22Speaker 4: speina old.
- 2:22Speaker 1: What's up?
- 2:26Speaker 6: I want Billy to know he was the inspiration, uh
- 2:29Speaker 6: for our dinner last night because it was my turn
- 2:31Speaker 6: to cook, okay.
- 2:32Speaker 1: And so we went to Mitchell Kana. Oh, I got
- 2:35Speaker 1: some to this nice feel down. Yeah.
- 2:38Speaker 6: I got some fresh veggies and I cooked you something, Billy.
- 2:41Speaker 6: I tried to find a watermelon, but the watermelon I
- 2:45Speaker 6: bought was garbage. So but I brought you to know
- 2:48Speaker 6: how to pick them up. No, I did your trick.
- 2:51Speaker 6: I looked for the for the butt, the tight butt
- 2:54Speaker 6: or whatever on the end.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, you go for a couple of things.
- 2:57Speaker 4: Got to look for the stripes down the watermelon to
- 2:58Speaker 4: be close together, thinking I'm an expert.
- 3:01Speaker 5: Yeah, the yellow part right, Yeah, you gotta look.
- 3:04Speaker 4: For a nice yellow spot spot. Yeah, it's been sitting
- 3:07Speaker 4: there like a creamy yellow.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Yeah that way, you know.
- 3:10Speaker 4: It's been sitting there for a while, and then it's ripe.
- 3:12Speaker 4: The stripes are close together. And of course if the
- 3:14Speaker 4: watermelon butthole is yeah, want to say butthole?
- 3:18Speaker 1: Yeah, like the button Because.
- 3:22Speaker 6: I was ramost sounds more strange. Sister was like Billy says,
- 3:26Speaker 6: looking for the tight butthole. She was like what I
- 3:29Speaker 6: was like, never mind more, just let me try to
- 3:31Speaker 6: find one. And I grab one and it was I
- 3:33Speaker 6: cut it open those garbage. But I made tablitas and
- 3:37Speaker 6: I made some sauca. About all that up, Yeah, it's aft.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Who makes good salsa does? I don't know how or
- 3:45Speaker 1: why or what he does.
- 3:47Speaker 2: It's good.
- 3:48Speaker 1: But if there's one thing he's good in life, it's.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Making sausa and sharing it.
- 3:52Speaker 4: Really, speaking of watermelon, you're gonna laugh because you know,
- 3:54Speaker 4: if you don't know, I broke my hand and what
- 3:56Speaker 4: a mess. It's just and I went without a hand
- 3:59Speaker 4: before because I broke and a lot of bones in
- 4:00Speaker 4: my life.
- 4:01Speaker 1: But I don't know.
- 4:02Speaker 4: For whatever reason, I think this bone is I'm going
- 4:04Speaker 4: to the specialist today. But it's displaced. I think so
- 4:08Speaker 4: like it's feels means it's not the right spot. It's
- 4:11Speaker 4: not just broken, it's like moved, got it and so it's.
- 4:14Speaker 5: Like broken into the side where it should be here.
- 4:17Speaker 5: It's wonky, yes, seguage.
- 4:19Speaker 4: I'm no doctor, but let me tell you in the
- 4:21Speaker 4: Cannislopez language, it's it's wonky and Okay. So I door
- 4:25Speaker 4: dashed from groceries. By the way, I'm going to the
- 4:28Speaker 4: specialist today. That was a whole issue, trying to find
- 4:30Speaker 4: somebody who could get me in. Yeah, I'm trying to
- 4:32Speaker 4: send me back to my primary care doctor.
- 4:34Speaker 5: That's insane.
- 4:35Speaker 1: And I'm like, why why don't have to go back
- 4:37Speaker 1: to my doctor? You need a referral. And I'm like
- 4:40Speaker 1: the referrals, the emergency room that said your hand.
- 4:42Speaker 4: Is messed up, referrals, right, So anyway, so I'm like, well, yesterday,
- 4:48Speaker 4: I'm like, I'm in a lot of pain. Let me
- 4:49Speaker 4: take medicine. I pretty much slept all day because it's
- 4:52Speaker 4: it hurts. Yeah, and the talent all with codin and
- 4:55Speaker 4: hits you and you're just like whoa right, Yeah, So
- 4:58Speaker 4: I door dash food so when I wake up, I
- 5:01Speaker 4: can have something, And I door dashed watermelon because all
- 5:05Speaker 4: I eat is watermelon and steak?
- 5:06Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, be for whatever I order.
- 5:09Speaker 4: Watermelon, And I never thought like, how am I going
- 5:11Speaker 4: to get inside?
- 5:13Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 5:13Speaker 4: Yeah, So when they door dashed watermelon, they just put
- 5:16Speaker 4: it on the porch.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Well, if it was on a counter, I think I
- 5:19Speaker 1: could like maneuver to hold it with like one arm
- 5:21Speaker 1: and one hand. But this was just the worst.
- 5:25Speaker 4: Because now I'm like, how do I get it from
- 5:28Speaker 4: the ground?
- 5:29Speaker 5: Oh, you didn't kick it.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Maybe you kicked it like a soucker. Well, it was
- 5:35Speaker 1: so hot.
- 5:35Speaker 4: I'm like, I at least got to get it inside
- 5:38Speaker 4: and then I'll deal with it. Yeah, So I started
- 5:40Speaker 4: kicking it and rolling it inside, and then I'm like, okay,
- 5:45Speaker 4: now how do I get it up? So then I'm
- 5:47Speaker 4: like I can't. So I decided that the closest thing
- 5:50Speaker 4: was like a pillowcase. So I put it in a pillowcase.
- 5:53Speaker 1: And then wrapped it up and then grabbed it with
- 5:55Speaker 1: one hand and lifted it up like sail. Yeah I
- 6:00Speaker 1: don't mill in sack. They got it up there.
- 6:02Speaker 4: But I'm gonna tell you right now, if someone had
- 6:04Speaker 4: me on camera, they'd be like, what is wrong with
- 6:06Speaker 4: this guy? He saw me and Carrollton on my porch,
- 6:09Speaker 4: kicking around the water Man, his.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Top story on the tents with Billy the Kid in.
- 6:14Speaker 5: The morning only on the new Mixed one or two
- 6:17Speaker 5: point nine Canda Slowpez what is going on? Well, attorneys
- 6:20Speaker 5: for Carmelo Anthony were successful in getting a new judge
- 6:23Speaker 5: appointed to preside over their appeal. This new judge will
- 6:27Speaker 5: hear their arguments as to why he deserves a new trial.
- 6:30Speaker 5: So he's currently serving at thirty five year prison sentence
- 6:33Speaker 5: while his new team of defense attorneys continues to fight
- 6:36Speaker 5: for a new trial. That hearing today could present new
- 6:39Speaker 5: facts and testimony they say was not made public before.
- 6:43Speaker 5: So I'll keep you posted on that. And Meta is
- 6:45Speaker 5: being sued for one point four trillion dollars by twenty
- 6:49Speaker 5: nine US states. So these states say Facebook and Instagram
- 6:53Speaker 5: are hazardous to children's health. So if for some reason
- 6:57Speaker 5: they were to win this lawsuit, they're saying, there's a
- 7:00Speaker 5: chance that the like button could go away. Yeah. One
- 7:03Speaker 5: of the main reasons they say teens are hooked is
- 7:06Speaker 5: you know, they're addicted to the like count.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Okay, well, you know what, then parent your kids? Yeah,
- 7:12Speaker 1: what do you I mean? One point four trillion dollars.
- 7:14Speaker 5: Yes, So this lawsuit wants to end the social validation metrics,
- 7:18Speaker 5: which that was a big thing for a while. They
- 7:20Speaker 5: had it where you know, the likes were gone or
- 7:22Speaker 5: you could.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Turn the likes off, or they took the dislike button.
- 7:25Speaker 5: Away, okay on Facebook or Instagram.
- 7:28Speaker 1: That was on Instagram too, was it.
- 7:29Speaker 5: I can't remember. It's changed so much.
- 7:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I think it was on both and they took
- 7:32Speaker 4: that away and then they kept the light button. But
- 7:34Speaker 4: now they have an option where you can hide the
- 7:37Speaker 4: likes right and hide the views or whatever you want
- 7:40Speaker 4: to do. You can customize what you see and what
- 7:41Speaker 4: you don't see. But I mean, come on, really, we're
- 7:43Speaker 4: going to sue people for a bi I mean one
- 7:46Speaker 4: point four trillion dollars.
- 7:47Speaker 1: They'll go out of business.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:48Speaker 5: I just wonder, you know, how much things would change
- 7:51Speaker 5: if the validation part weren't so you know, prominent, because
- 7:54Speaker 5: before it was just a photo album. You know, it
- 7:56Speaker 5: was just you're posting a photo. It is what it is.
- 8:00Speaker 5: And now I mean, yeah, Chason likes is a big thing.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Your kids on it.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it's so hard.
- 8:06Speaker 4: I know it's hard, but it's like, you know, well,
- 8:08Speaker 4: drinking soda is not great for your kids either. Yeah.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Are you going to sue the soda company?
- 8:12Speaker 4: Yeah, that's that's a precedent that you could sue anything
- 8:15Speaker 4: that's not good for you give great.
- 8:17Speaker 5: Yeah, no, you're right. And there also could mean no
- 8:19Speaker 5: more algorithm manipulation, so things could go back to just
- 8:22Speaker 5: being chronological like they used to be as well.
- 8:25Speaker 4: Well, you know that's different to me because that is
- 8:28Speaker 4: if you're mentally, you know, using psychology to manipulate kids behavior,
- 8:33Speaker 4: then that's different because you're targeting a certain demographic and
- 8:37Speaker 4: maybe they shouldn't be allowed to do that for sure.
- 8:40Speaker 4: But you know, I mean as far as just seeing
- 8:42Speaker 4: what you see and deciding whether you want to be
- 8:45Speaker 4: on it or not, is it's.
- 8:46Speaker 1: A free world.
- 8:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:47Speaker 1: I mean.
- 8:47Speaker 5: Other things they're looking to cut down are the amount
- 8:50Speaker 5: of notifications that come from these platforms, and then stricter
- 8:52Speaker 5: limits on young people having multiple accounts, which they're saying,
- 8:57Speaker 5: you know, is not good for them either because they
- 8:58Speaker 5: have one that they you know, my parents don't know about,
- 9:01Speaker 5: or they have a you know, other motivation for having
- 9:03Speaker 5: a different accounts. So yeah, we'll see what happens.
- 9:05Speaker 1: And every kid's different too.
- 9:07Speaker 4: You know, there's kids out here who can get a
- 9:09Speaker 4: young age understand social media and you can teach them
- 9:12Speaker 4: about it. And like my son is fifteen, but I
- 9:14Speaker 4: tell him, like, this is how you should use it,
- 9:17Speaker 4: this is how you shouldn't use it. There's some kids
- 9:19Speaker 4: who just don't need to be on it, yeah at all. Yeah,
- 9:22Speaker 4: you know, so you just got to figure out which
- 9:24Speaker 4: kind of time.
- 9:25Speaker 5: It's like the new drug.
- 9:26Speaker 4: It's the new peer pressure because it is a cortisol rush. Yeah,
- 9:30Speaker 4: you know it does mentally do things to kids and adults.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Yeah, oh yeah, for sure. For sure.
- 9:35Speaker 5: Guys. This name Cook story is interesting. So he's got
- 9:38Speaker 5: a new documentary called Funny Money, The Dane Cook Story,
- 9:41Speaker 5: and it goes into the story of how his half
- 9:44Speaker 5: brother stole twelve million dollars from him. I guess they're
- 9:47Speaker 5: saying he would hide it in multiple places. He would
- 9:50Speaker 5: even hide bricks of cash inside of spaghetti sauce, So
- 9:54Speaker 5: I guess he would wrap the cash and plastic hide
- 9:57Speaker 5: it in these jars of spaghetti sauce. It was ways
- 9:59Speaker 5: that he was, you know, sneaking money from Dane Cook.
- 10:03Speaker 5: I guess Dane hired his half brother to be his
- 10:06Speaker 5: business manager, which he was for over a decade, and
- 10:08Speaker 5: that's kind of how you know, he had access to
- 10:10Speaker 5: Dane's bank accounts. But they're saying he would withdraw twenty
- 10:13Speaker 5: to one hundred thousand dollars at a time. He did
- 10:16Speaker 5: this for years, and the fact that Dane didn't even notice,
- 10:19Speaker 5: you know, millions of dollars were missing is crazy.
- 10:21Speaker 4: Yeah, Dank remember Dank Cook back in the day. Though
- 10:23Speaker 4: he didn't get much bigger than him, right, Yeah, he
- 10:26Speaker 4: would really be huge.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but that's why you can't hire family.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:31Speaker 5: He was eventually, you know, charged with embezzlement. He pled
- 10:33Speaker 5: guilty to twenty seven charges. It spent six years in jail.
- 10:36Speaker 2: I think his.
- 10:37Speaker 5: Wife even spent time in jail. But such an interesting
- 10:40Speaker 5: like comedy slash true crime, you.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Know, documentary eaking money out.
- 10:44Speaker 5: Yeah it's spaghetti saus Yeah.
- 10:45Speaker 1: That reminds me of my grandpa.
- 10:46Speaker 4: He didn't trust banks, yeah, you know, because he was
- 10:48Speaker 4: a old school and lived through the Great Depression and
- 10:50Speaker 4: all this stuff, so.
- 10:51Speaker 1: He'd hide money everywhere.
- 10:52Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 10:53Speaker 1: He's like, you're putting your money in the bank, and
- 10:54Speaker 1: I'm like, well, yeah, that's what people do.
- 10:56Speaker 4: No, uh uhh right, and he put it in like
- 10:59Speaker 4: you know, the refrigerate, the freezer, wow, in like the
- 11:03Speaker 4: pea bags.
- 11:04Speaker 5: The freezer, the frozen piece.
- 11:05Speaker 4: Yeah, because he'd be like, well, you know what if
- 11:07Speaker 4: the house burns up, that's the last thing to burn. Oh,
- 11:10Speaker 4: it won't burn. The freezer won't burn. And I'm like,
- 11:13Speaker 4: get crazy, Our house isn't going to burn down. Then
- 11:16Speaker 4: our house burned down?
- 11:17Speaker 5: Oh yeah, shake the freezer though.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Yeah. The peat money was fine. Yeah, yeah, it was weird,
- 11:23Speaker 1: but all.
- 11:24Speaker 5: Right, I'm Knda slow Pezos. Are your Texas hop stories
- 11:27Speaker 5: on Mix one of two point nine?
- 11:28Speaker 1: Kind of shady now that I think, Yeah, what was
- 11:30Speaker 1: my grandpa doing?
- 11:32Speaker 5: Knew Mixed one or two point nine?
- 11:34Speaker 4: You know the kid Canda slow Pants is here, Producer
- 11:36Speaker 4: Poo is here. We get a dirty little secret at
- 11:38Speaker 4: seven thirty today. You won't want to miss this. Oh man,
- 11:41Speaker 4: all I know is it's a parent who's lying to a.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Kid about something. Oh well, we'll had something to do
- 11:46Speaker 1: with school and if.
- 11:49Speaker 4: It's just not good, it's not good this secret seven
- 11:52Speaker 4: thirty we'll do it then, all right?
- 11:54Speaker 1: Four pack of.

- 12:03Speaker 1: Oh good, Well, guess what you're calling? Number one congratulation.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Thank you so much.
- 12:09Speaker 1: You're so welcome. Aeron. You got a four pack of
- 12:11Speaker 1: tickets to Universal Kids Resort. Where are you from?
- 12:13Speaker 3: I'm from playing. I was driving into Sallace.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Oh, what a wonderful drive. How's traffic I need it? Oh? Good? Yeah,
- 12:21Speaker 1: you are early.
- 12:22Speaker 5: Nice.
- 12:23Speaker 4: I would rather get somewhere an hour early and sit
- 12:25Speaker 4: in my car than deal with traffic on seventy five
- 12:27Speaker 4: or this whole way.
- 12:27Speaker 5: That's the only way I can work so far away.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I don't blame you.
- 12:30Speaker 4: All right, Well, good Eron, have a great day, and
- 12:32Speaker 4: we really appreciate you listening.
- 12:33Speaker 1: We're gonna hold up with these tickets.
- 12:35Speaker 3: Okay, thank you so much.
- 12:36Speaker 1: You're welcome.
- 12:37Speaker 4: And I can't even, like, you know, give anyone the
- 12:39Speaker 4: number one one finger salute.
- 12:41Speaker 5: Oh yeah, not with that hand, because I have.
- 12:44Speaker 1: A broken hand.
- 12:45Speaker 5: You just look like everything you do right, everything I do.
- 12:47Speaker 1: I'm waving the courtesy way. Yeah. And I can't drink
- 12:51Speaker 1: coffee on the way to work.
- 12:52Speaker 5: Oh.
- 12:53Speaker 1: I can't text and drive, which is a good thing.
- 12:55Speaker 5: That is good.
- 12:55Speaker 4: I try not to do that anyway. Yeah, so, but
- 12:57Speaker 4: I have only have one one hand to do things with.
- 13:00Speaker 5: So yeah, it's awful.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Somebody gets me mad. I just got to wave to him.
- 13:03Speaker 5: Just give him the sling, Yeah, just.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Give him the cast. Yeah.
- 13:08Speaker 4: Well blah blah blah, All right, real or fake news.
- 13:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna give you three headlines.
- 13:13Speaker 4: Gonna tell me which one is the fake story out
- 13:15Speaker 4: of the three, and the news is wild?
- 13:17Speaker 1: So here we go. Headline number one.
- 13:19Speaker 4: Man sues Jim after working out for six weeks and
- 13:23Speaker 4: seeing no results. Man sues Jim after working out for
- 13:29Speaker 4: six weeks and seeing no results.
- 13:32Speaker 1: That is headline number one.
- 13:33Speaker 4: Headline number two Boeing may have to rehire a blind
- 13:38Speaker 4: man to build planes after lawsuit. What Boeing may have
- 13:42Speaker 4: to rehire a blind man to build planes after lawsuit?
- 13:48Speaker 1: Headline number three.
- 13:50Speaker 4: Man arrested after refusing to put on pants and throwing
- 13:53Speaker 4: household appliances at police?
- 13:55Speaker 7: What?
- 13:56Speaker 4: Man arrested after refusing to put on pants and throwing
- 14:00Speaker 4: the household appliances at police? Three headlines right there, three
- 14:05Speaker 4: of them. You gotta tell me which one do you
- 14:07Speaker 4: think is the fakest story? Candice? You could pick first,
- 14:10Speaker 4: or you could pass it to the poo poo.
- 14:12Speaker 5: Okay, did I pass it yesterday? Do you remember I
- 14:15Speaker 5: did pass it? Okay, I'm gonna go first today. Okay,
- 14:18Speaker 5: just locked me in for that first story.
- 14:19Speaker 4: You don't think the store, no results of the gym, Yeah,
- 14:22Speaker 4: because I'd be suing.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Too, right, no smarter? Yeah?
- 14:26Speaker 4: Well, I mean yeah, but there would be a lot
- 14:27Speaker 4: of lawsuits if you could see over not seeing results
- 14:31Speaker 4: for sure.
- 14:31Speaker 1: You want to lock that in.
- 14:32Speaker 5: Let's lock in and we'll see what happened.
- 14:34Speaker 4: Do you think that's fake? It is locked in? Producer poo.
- 14:36Speaker 4: Which one do you think is the fake storm?
- 14:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with that.
- 14:40Speaker 6: Boeing hiring a blond man, Okay, I don't want him
- 14:44Speaker 6: as an installer.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Lot in for that one. Yeah. Maybe it just has
- 14:48Speaker 1: you know, as other senses.
- 14:49Speaker 4: They say, if one of your senses go down, your
- 14:51Speaker 4: other sensors are you know, amplified.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Okay, so maybe you can smell the perfect way to
- 14:56Speaker 1: build a plane. You just never know.
- 14:59Speaker 4: Yeah, lock that in, lock it in, and the winner
- 15:02Speaker 4: today is this feels more normal? Candice Lopez, You're the
- 15:12Speaker 4: winner today. The fake story is the man sue in
- 15:14Speaker 4: the gym after seeing no results after working out for
- 15:17Speaker 4: six weeks.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Come on, what lawyer is going to take that case?
- 15:20Speaker 4: Right?
- 15:21Speaker 1: But I mean I wouldn't be shocked if it's happened before.
- 15:24Speaker 5: Yeah, someone's probably tried.
- 15:25Speaker 4: But it wasn't in the headlines as of right. Now,
- 15:27Speaker 4: let's get to the real stories. Which one you want? First?
- 15:30Speaker 4: Listen to this one. This is an interesting case Boeing
- 15:34Speaker 4: is dealing with because I guess they ended up terminating
- 15:38Speaker 4: a man who has visual impairment. He's blind because he
- 15:43Speaker 4: was fabricating parts for planes and they said it was
- 15:46Speaker 4: unsafe because he can't see right. So he sued them,
- 15:51Speaker 4: And now he's suing them because he's saying, well, you
- 15:55Speaker 4: are discriminating against me. Yeah, so now they might have
- 15:58Speaker 4: to rehire him. And it's a pretty interesting case because
- 16:02Speaker 4: he's basically a machinist who you know, he's been producing
- 16:06Speaker 4: stuff for a long time. He lost his vision due
- 16:09Speaker 4: to a rare genetic disease. So now they're saying, well,
- 16:13Speaker 4: I think they even offered him other things they could do. Yeah,
- 16:16Speaker 4: he's like, but that's not what I do. Oh wow, yeah,
- 16:19Speaker 4: but you can't do what you do anymore. Because you
- 16:22Speaker 4: can't see, right, and they're like, He's like, yes, I can,
- 16:24Speaker 4: I can do it.
- 16:25Speaker 1: There's ways I can do it.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Huh.
- 16:27Speaker 4: And now they might have to basically settle this lawsuit
- 16:31Speaker 4: or give him his job.
- 16:34Speaker 5: Wow, but who's double checking like it's superrising and make
- 16:37Speaker 5: sure that thing is where it's supposed to be your
- 16:40Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 16:41Speaker 1: I don't know, you know.
- 16:43Speaker 4: I mean, obviously there's people with disabilities who can absolutely
- 16:46Speaker 4: do their jobs.
- 16:47Speaker 5: People with the abilities that are you know, more general, and.
- 16:50Speaker 4: I'm all about being fair, but sure there are certain
- 16:53Speaker 4: jobs and I don't know, there's intricate details about this case.
- 16:56Speaker 1: He might not know.
- 16:57Speaker 4: Yeah, but it's always interesting to see, you know, the
- 17:00Speaker 4: way things operate. Because yeah, I don't want someone who's
- 17:04Speaker 4: blind building a plane, right, but if he can do
- 17:08Speaker 4: one part and he gets it.
- 17:09Speaker 5: Done, and he does it repeatedly, yeah, repeatedly, I'll get
- 17:13Speaker 5: on the plane for sure.
- 17:15Speaker 1: After boo, I want to he can take the first
- 17:22Speaker 1: next door, right, Yeah, you don't know what he's doing,
- 17:25Speaker 1: but either way.
- 17:26Speaker 4: Man arrested after refusing to put on pants and throwing
- 17:29Speaker 4: household appliances at police. Oh, this is a real story,
- 17:32Speaker 4: and one guess where it took place, Florida. Up.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Of course it took place in Florida.
- 17:39Speaker 4: So I guess cop showed up because he was on
- 17:42Speaker 4: his balcony naked, and they're like, you can't do this.
- 17:47Speaker 1: You can't. I mean, let's frown upon.
- 17:50Speaker 4: So they're like, okay, let's go see what's going on
- 17:53Speaker 4: Marcus Butler. Once they get to his apartment that's his name,
- 17:56Speaker 4: they see him on the balcony, disrobed, that's what they
- 18:00Speaker 4: called it. Yeah, and so they're yelling at him, hey,
- 18:04Speaker 4: you gotta put pants on right, and he's like, no,
- 18:07Speaker 4: and don't come up here and try to make me
- 18:10Speaker 4: because if you do, I got something for you. Okay,
- 18:12Speaker 4: you can't challenge police like that. So they're like, well,
- 18:15Speaker 4: then we're coming up, Marcus. I can't believe we have
- 18:17Speaker 4: to tell you how to, you know, put pants on.
- 18:20Speaker 4: As they're walking up, he throws a microwave at him,
- 18:25Speaker 4: throws it down from the balcony and he's like no.
- 18:30Speaker 1: They're like, hey, did you just throw a microwave?
- 18:33Speaker 4: Man? Then they start walking up a little more and
- 18:37Speaker 4: they start throwing more stuff at him.
- 18:39Speaker 1: He threw an air fryer at him.
- 18:41Speaker 5: No, not the.
- 18:43Speaker 4: Yeah you're gonna like pooh, would never throw an the
- 18:48Speaker 4: air fryer too much.
- 18:50Speaker 2: I would never throw my well, that's what he threw.
- 18:52Speaker 4: Next he threw a blender at him. Then he threw
- 18:55Speaker 4: a TV at him. So then they called the swat team.
- 19:00Speaker 4: What and they were like, okay, enough is enough.
- 19:03Speaker 1: We're done with the TV.
- 19:04Speaker 4: So they had to bring a swat team in to
- 19:06Speaker 4: calm Marcus down and have put his pants on. Oh well,
- 19:10Speaker 4: well he did so and he no more applied is
- 19:13Speaker 4: to throw What else are you gonna throw after? An
- 19:15Speaker 4: air fryer, coffee table?
- 19:17Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 19:17Speaker 4: And I can't lift up the dishwasher, especially naked, for sure.
- 19:22Speaker 4: You know there's certain things you just can't do. There's
- 19:23Speaker 4: some things I just don't want to do naked.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Yeah, how do you know?
- 19:28Speaker 1: Can you? You don't know what I want to do naked? Well?
- 19:34Speaker 5: Yeah, but LinkedIn stuff is maybe a coffee table. I'm
- 19:37Speaker 5: I'm not.
- 19:38Speaker 4: Attempting to pick up a dishwasher naked, right, ottoman?
- 19:41Speaker 1: Not again? An ottoman? I'll do.
- 19:45Speaker 4: An air fryer, I'll do. But I don't like being naked.
- 19:48Speaker 4: Some people get drunk and love being naked. Me not
- 19:51Speaker 4: one of them just don't enjoy it.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Anyway.
- 19:54Speaker 4: If I could take a shower and a swimsuit, I
- 19:56Speaker 4: probably would either way. All right, you got Dirty Little
- 20:00Speaker 4: Secret coming up at seven thirty, Get ready for that.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Testa's Top Stories on the Tents with Billy's a Kid
- 20:05Speaker 2: in the.

- 20:08Speaker 5: nine right and early.
- 20:09Speaker 4: On a Thursday morning. We got Dirty Little Secret coming up.
- 20:12Speaker 4: Get ready for that plus the Bang or I'm excited,
- 20:14Speaker 4: Candice Lopez.
- 20:15Speaker 1: What is going on?
- 20:16Speaker 5: Well, Plano based pizza Hut is looking to bring in
- 20:18Speaker 5: more customers in time for football season by dropping the
- 20:21Speaker 5: pizza from their name. They're just gonna be going by Hut.
- 20:24Speaker 2: For a little while. Weird, Yeah, I know. So yeah, they're.
- 20:27Speaker 5: Temporarily covering up the word pizza on their signs. They're
- 20:31Speaker 5: putting basically like a red football over it, so you
- 20:34Speaker 5: just see Hut. This name change will go through the
- 20:37Speaker 5: end of the month. I guess it's just a fun
- 20:38Speaker 5: little stunt that they're doing.
- 20:40Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, what I've been meaning to do is
- 20:41Speaker 4: going up to what's the place I think it's in.
- 20:44Speaker 4: Is it an Aubrey or somebody has one of the
- 20:45Speaker 4: old school and there's multiple old.
- 20:47Speaker 1: School pizza yah, but I think it's an Aubrey or
- 20:49Speaker 1: somewhere random.
- 20:50Speaker 5: Okay, there's one also down by Cedar Creek Lake that
- 20:53Speaker 5: has like old school vibes that they have like you know,
- 20:56Speaker 5: may Bank football jerseys and things like that up in there.
- 20:58Speaker 5: It looks really school and just like a place you
- 21:01Speaker 5: want to go after a gamer.
- 21:02Speaker 1: That's where I want to go with the pizza hut buffet. Yeah,
- 21:05Speaker 1: old school pizza hutuffet. Give me that pizza huts. I'm
- 21:08Speaker 1: kind of underrated though. Yeah.
- 21:09Speaker 5: Well it's just a hut for a couple of weeks,
- 21:11Speaker 5: so we'll meet you at the hut Hut. Is it
- 21:13Speaker 5: the hut or hut h hut hut? Exactly?
- 21:16Speaker 2: At it exactly?
- 21:17Speaker 5: Guys. Prince Harry and Megan Markle are moving back to England,
- 21:21Speaker 5: so they left and gave up their royal duties sixty
- 21:24Speaker 5: years ago in the middle of battles with the British
- 21:26Speaker 5: tabloids and of course the drama among the royal family,
- 21:30Speaker 5: so their new home will be non royal. They will
- 21:33Speaker 5: also keep their homes in California and Portugal. I guess
- 21:36Speaker 5: they let King Charles know, over the weekend, it sounds
- 21:39Speaker 5: like Prince William and Kate were also kind of blindsided
- 21:42Speaker 5: by this. But people are saying, you know, because King
- 21:45Speaker 5: Charles has been undergoing cancer treatment for almost three years,
- 21:48Speaker 5: his health may have played a factor in this decision
- 21:51Speaker 5: to move back. But I didn't see this coming.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Yeah, me either. I don't know why. I mean, maybe
- 21:56Speaker 1: if i'm him, I don't let him back in. Yeah,
- 21:58Speaker 1: if I'm the king, Yeah, like, no, you left, We're good.
- 22:01Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, I hope their relationship is, you know,
- 22:04Speaker 5: on the men. But you know, he's had those health
- 22:06Speaker 5: problems and then just a lot of drama within the
- 22:09Speaker 5: royal family. Kate had her health problems, So maybe they're
- 22:12Speaker 5: going to reconcile and just to say, let's do this again.
- 22:15Speaker 5: Non royal, but there's no pressure.
- 22:17Speaker 4: You're never going to see me if I'm ever in
- 22:19Speaker 4: a royal family, you're never going to see me leave.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Yeah, you never call me a non royal?
- 22:23Speaker 5: Non royal.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Well, that's awful, that's degrading.
- 22:26Speaker 5: We don't have to live in a castle.
- 22:27Speaker 4: What Yeah, why why can't Prince Harry wait, which one
- 22:31Speaker 4: is not royal?
- 22:32Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 22:32Speaker 5: Well, I mean, yeah, Harry Harry, what's wrong with you?
- 22:36Speaker 5: I mean what I mean, good for him if it
- 22:38Speaker 5: was a right. I mean, the parchy is interesting.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Care I'm part of it. If I'm in it. If
- 22:43Speaker 1: I'm not in it, I'm mad. I'll argue with you,
- 22:45Speaker 1: but I'm still retain my title. Yeah, I'm not gonna
- 22:48Speaker 1: give it up. I mean, I'm never going to disagree
- 22:50Speaker 1: and have to be kicked out of the family. And
- 22:52Speaker 1: not being.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Royal Prince Billy, Prince Billy.
- 22:55Speaker 1: It's different.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right, I'd be.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Acting different if I was a prince Guys capop.
- 23:01Speaker 5: The Demon Hunters are at the center of a new lawsuit.
- 23:04Speaker 5: So the Christian heavy metal band demon Hunter filed a
- 23:07Speaker 5: trademark lawsuit against Netflix. They say the movie caused substantial
- 23:12Speaker 5: confusing fusion and one this story as well. So this father,
- 23:17Speaker 5: I'm laughing just thinking about it, spent five hundred dollars
- 23:20Speaker 5: on tickets to their concert, thinking he was taking them
- 23:24Speaker 5: to a K pop show.
- 23:26Speaker 1: It's staring. It's a heavy metal Christian band exactly.
- 23:30Speaker 5: So this band trademarked demon Hunter in twenty twenty two,
- 23:34Speaker 5: even though you know they've been recording and touring for
- 23:36Speaker 5: twenty five years, but this lawsuit says this is an
- 23:39Speaker 5: existential crisis to the band's brand.
- 23:43Speaker 1: I just to the fan's brand. No one even knows
- 23:46Speaker 1: who they are.
- 23:46Speaker 4: No, no one knew that was smart at them to
- 23:49Speaker 4: Yeah trademarket.
- 23:51Speaker 5: Right, Well now we know who they are.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Yeah, well now I do. And they're probably gonna get paid.
- 23:55Speaker 4: Even if they don't, you know, get all the money
- 23:56Speaker 4: they'll can settle for something.
- 23:58Speaker 5: Yeah, something may come of this.
- 24:00Speaker 4: They were in a heavy metal Christian band, demon Hunter.
- 24:03Speaker 4: The demon Hunter Yeah live in Preston Wood.
- 24:09Speaker 5: Oh guys, congrats the post malone on his engagement to
- 24:12Speaker 5: girlfriend Christy Lee. I guess her friend was the first
- 24:15Speaker 5: to report this online. It happened in Utah.
- 24:17Speaker 7: Uh.
- 24:18Speaker 5: The two were first linked together earlier last year when
- 24:20Speaker 5: they were spotted together in Europe. I think they split
- 24:23Speaker 5: for a little while last year. This is not the
- 24:25Speaker 5: mother of his daughter, who he was also engaged to.
- 24:27Speaker 1: That's what I was gonna ask at one. But they
- 24:29Speaker 1: looked the same, did they not.
- 24:31Speaker 5: Yeah, he's got a type.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Christ Shaftley has a time. Well.
- 24:33Speaker 5: Congratulations to post Yeah, happy for him. I'm kan of Slopez.
- 24:36Speaker 5: Those are your Texas top stories on mixed one of
- 24:38Speaker 5: two point nine.
- 24:39Speaker 4: He was in a heavy metal band. Yeah, it wasn't
- 24:41Speaker 4: a Christian heavy metal band, but he was back in
- 24:42Speaker 4: the day. He was in a heavy metal like a
- 24:44Speaker 4: heavy metal that's right, Yeah it was. They were actually
- 24:47Speaker 4: kind of now they weren't that good, but he was good.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Yeah, of course he was good.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Okay, I want to go see a Christian heavy metal band.
- 24:53Speaker 5: Oh, Demon Hunter, look them up.

- 28:49Speaker 1: J Jen and Jen we appreciate you too.
- 28:51Speaker 4: All right, dirty little secret, if you have one, just
- 28:54Speaker 4: call us now you do.
- 28:55Speaker 1: What is your secret? What is going on.
- 29:00Speaker 3: Already? You know, we just started back to school and
- 29:04Speaker 3: I'm already failing as a mom.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Totally failing.
- 29:09Speaker 1: She said, you're failing.
- 29:10Speaker 3: No, I am failing. Is my daughters She just started
- 29:14Speaker 3: third grade this year, and she is the light of
- 29:18Speaker 3: my life. I love her more than anything. She's funny,
- 29:21Speaker 3: she's creative, she's sweet. She has this huge personality just
- 29:25Speaker 3: shines like, you know, like the sun. But school and
- 29:30Speaker 3: academics are a bit more of a struggle for her.
- 29:33Speaker 3: And her biggest problem is with math. Okay, so for
- 29:38Speaker 3: some reason she just doesn't get it.
- 29:40Speaker 5: It doesn't click.
- 29:41Speaker 3: I mean she'll sit there and she tries hard.
- 29:44Speaker 1: With me. I'm still off the mask.
- 29:46Speaker 5: I struggled in third grade with it. My dad had
- 29:48Speaker 5: to buy me a cassette tape with the multiplication tables
- 29:50Speaker 5: on it because I could learn music. I could learn lyrics,
- 29:53Speaker 5: but I couldn't do multipation.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Yeah it was a song and.
- 29:55Speaker 5: So I could do it.
- 29:56Speaker 4: So a lot of people deal with this struggle, but
- 29:58Speaker 4: she's struggling. Yeah, some academic especially math.
- 30:01Speaker 1: I get it.
- 30:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean she just gets totally frustrated because you know,
- 30:05Speaker 3: the other kids in the class will catch on right away,
- 30:07Speaker 3: and it's just not happening anyhow. So this year the
- 30:12Speaker 3: school put her in like a special smaller class that
- 30:17Speaker 3: supposedly gives the kids more attention and extra help when
- 30:20Speaker 3: they're struggling a bit, or you know, maybe it just
- 30:23Speaker 3: takes them a while longer to catch on, which is good,
- 30:27Speaker 3: that's all good. But my secret is that I didn't
- 30:30Speaker 3: tell her this. And you know, since it's a separate
- 30:35Speaker 3: class from like what most of the kids are doing
- 30:37Speaker 3: for their math. I told her that it's a special
- 30:41Speaker 3: advanced class because she's really smart, so she gets to
- 30:44Speaker 3: be in this different class.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Wait, so you told I know.
- 30:55Speaker 4: So she's in a special class for people who you
- 30:59Speaker 4: know might take a look a more effort and.
- 31:00Speaker 5: Yeah, they can allow a little more time and have
- 31:03Speaker 5: more patience with the way they learned.
- 31:05Speaker 1: And you told her it was an ap class.
- 31:09Speaker 3: No, Mom, I know her, you know, I know. I
- 31:14Speaker 3: mean it's like if I sadder down and said, you know,
- 31:17Speaker 3: you're going into this class because you're you know, you're
- 31:20Speaker 3: behind the other kids. I mean, she wouldn't hear. You know,
- 31:24Speaker 3: you just learned differently and need you know, a little
- 31:26Speaker 3: more attention.
- 31:27Speaker 5: She just here, I'm dumb.
- 31:28Speaker 3: I'm stupid.
- 31:30Speaker 1: I get your intentions.
- 31:31Speaker 3: Well, I can't let her think she's dumb, because that's
- 31:34Speaker 3: not going to help things either. I mean, you know,
- 31:36Speaker 3: it just can only make it worse. And the thing is,
- 31:40Speaker 3: it's like my plan has worked just a little bit
- 31:43Speaker 3: too well, and she's like really proud. Now she's telling
- 31:49Speaker 3: tell your grandparents, Oh, I'm.
- 31:51Speaker 8: In an advanced chair.
- 31:53Speaker 3: Oh I heard her telling another mother you know. Oh well,
- 32:01Speaker 3: I'm in this smart kid math class this year. Oh no,
- 32:04Speaker 3: I mean, I'm like Diana, I.
- 32:06Speaker 7: Want to Yeah, I'm scared that some other kids are
- 32:10Speaker 7: going to like realize and say, you know, and correct
- 32:13Speaker 7: her and say, oh no, you know, I'm going to
- 32:16Speaker 7: figure out that this is not exactly.
- 32:18Speaker 3: What this class is and realize that maybe I can
- 32:22Speaker 3: tell her the truth. So, I mean, I'm probably not
- 32:26Speaker 3: handling this the right way, but you know, I think
- 32:29Speaker 3: maybe I don't know if I could have explained it
- 32:31Speaker 3: differently instead of completely making something up to make them
- 32:35Speaker 3: feel okay, they're.
- 32:39Speaker 5: Kind of locked in.
- 32:40Speaker 1: That's the promise, Like, now, what do you do?
- 32:42Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly what do you do now that we're.
- 32:45Speaker 1: In this situation that you are, well, she thinks she's Einstein,
- 32:49Speaker 1: and that's the opposite.
- 32:52Speaker 4: I don't think you can do anything. And now you
- 32:54Speaker 4: have to just let it ride out. You have to
- 32:57Speaker 4: if anything, you have a conversation with her about going. Hey, listen,
- 33:00Speaker 4: some some people just I wouldn't brag about anything. Let's
- 33:05Speaker 4: talk about that, like, let's not talk about what you're
- 33:07Speaker 4: in and what other people aren't.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Let's just make other kids jealous, right, No, don't say that.
- 33:16Speaker 4: And then you curb that, and then eventually she can
- 33:19Speaker 4: just like maybe this is just the excitement, or she'll
- 33:22Speaker 4: forget that there's anything different about it and she'll just
- 33:24Speaker 4: go to class.
- 33:25Speaker 2: And yeah, it is what it is, all right too
- 33:30Speaker 2: for your sake, But.
- 33:33Speaker 4: You're doing the best you can as a mom. You
- 33:35Speaker 4: didn't do anything wrong. You might it might be a
- 33:36Speaker 4: little bit misguided.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Yeah that's what you'll say. Yeah, misguided guided.
- 33:40Speaker 4: But thank you for confessing that. Yes, let us know
- 33:44Speaker 4: what happens though, Okay, gosh, yeah, I don't want to brag,
- 33:50Speaker 4: but we learned what three plus three is.
- 33:54Speaker 1: Okay. Addition, it reminds me when I was a kid. Though.
- 33:57Speaker 1: We had a neighbor, one of my best friends, and
- 34:00Speaker 1: he was he took a different bus to school, Oh,
- 34:04Speaker 1: the short one.
- 34:05Speaker 4: Okay, Yes, he took the short bus to school because
- 34:08Speaker 4: he went to a special program.
- 34:10Speaker 1: And there's nothing wrong with that. But one day he
- 34:13Speaker 1: can't Yeah, you don't need that.
- 34:15Speaker 5: Yeah, it's fine.
- 34:17Speaker 4: One day he came to you know, the bus stop
- 34:19Speaker 4: because he'd wait with us, but his bus would come different,
- 34:22Speaker 4: and somebody was like, why do you take the short
- 34:24Speaker 4: bus and he was like, well, my mom says it's
- 34:27Speaker 4: faster than the other bucks angel and I was like, yeah,
- 34:35Speaker 4: no it is because I knew what was going on.
- 34:37Speaker 4: And I was like no, yeah, we're I wish we
- 34:39Speaker 4: could take it, and he's like, yeah, I wish you
- 34:42Speaker 4: could take it too, but not everybody can get on
- 34:43Speaker 4: it because it's just faster.
- 34:45Speaker 1: And you can't handle it.
- 34:48Speaker 6: Man.
- 34:49Speaker 4: Yeah, bye Wow, who stopped laughing, dirty little sneakert.
- 34:53Speaker 1: We got canvas court next, all right, he's hard for court.
- 35:00Speaker 2: It's settled here with Billy the Kid in the morning
- 35:03Speaker 2: Rise for.
- 35:04Speaker 1: The Honorable Judge Candace Lopez.
- 35:06Speaker 4: Here she is straight on mesquitche is ready to serve
- 35:08Speaker 4: up some justice with a side of kale.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Are you ready?
- 35:11Speaker 5: Kids?
- 35:11Speaker 4: All right now, if you have an issue, a problem
- 35:13Speaker 4: of whatever the case may be, she can help you.
- 35:16Speaker 4: At candas on Air on Instagram. At Candace on Air
- 35:19Speaker 4: it's mixed one or two point nine.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Here we go, morning, guys.
- 35:22Speaker 4: I just need to vent here and see what y'all
- 35:24Speaker 4: think about my idiot brother in law and why we
- 35:26Speaker 4: aren't talking much right now. We went on an adult
- 35:30Speaker 4: only family vacation recently and he only packed one pair
- 35:35Speaker 4: of swim trunks for the week.
- 35:37Speaker 1: What's wrong with that?
- 35:39Speaker 4: On a three day On day three of the trip,
- 35:43Speaker 4: he ruined them by getting drunk and getting paint all
- 35:46Speaker 4: over them during a paint night we had at our hotel. Okay,
- 35:52Speaker 4: And so instead of going to the gift shop and
- 35:54Speaker 4: buying a new bathing suit, he wanted to borrow one
- 35:57Speaker 4: of mine, and I said no. I told him bathing
- 36:01Speaker 4: suits gross me out and I wouldn't share my underwear either.
- 36:06Speaker 1: He thought it was being so ridiculous and kept pushing
- 36:09Speaker 1: for me to give him one of mine.
- 36:11Speaker 4: My wife told him I wasn't gonna budge on this,
- 36:13Speaker 4: and it became a whole thing and we barely spoke
- 36:17Speaker 4: for the rest of the week.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Oh, it was awkward as hell. So straight up, who
- 36:21Speaker 1: thinks I'm wrong? Here? Is it not gross to share
- 36:24Speaker 1: a bathing suit?
- 36:26Speaker 5: WHOA?
- 36:27Speaker 1: All right? What a random fight that is?
- 36:30Speaker 5: Week?
- 36:31Speaker 4: I know. I love that they're fighting about this on
- 36:33Speaker 4: a vacation on a nice vacation and adult family vacation.
- 36:37Speaker 5: That sounds fun, does it? Yeah, like all the cousins,
- 36:40Speaker 5: you know, brothers and sisters, whoever their spouse is.
- 36:43Speaker 1: So let's paint the picture. I guess because they were painting.
- 36:45Speaker 1: What drunk? Painting's a wild activity by Yeah, pat night.
- 36:48Speaker 2: It's so fun though, paint night.
- 36:49Speaker 5: Yeah, you've never done a paint night.
- 36:51Speaker 2: I've done like on a date or like a sippin'
- 36:53Speaker 2: what do they call it?
- 36:53Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 36:55Speaker 4: Yeah, like paint and twist or painting with a twist, Yes,
- 36:57Speaker 4: whatever you were. You know, they give you some crappy pig.
- 37:00Speaker 4: Sure you get a paint.
- 37:01Speaker 5: It's always a sunset at the beach.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Yes, it's always like a sunset or a flower. That's
- 37:05Speaker 1: so basic.
- 37:06Speaker 5: Yeah, well you're coming from your art, like you do
- 37:09Speaker 5: really good art, so painting like a sunrise?
- 37:12Speaker 1: No, but I mean I still think it was fun
- 37:13Speaker 1: either way.
- 37:14Speaker 4: It's fine for a dayta Why until you get in
- 37:16Speaker 4: a fight about something random anyway?
- 37:18Speaker 1: Okay, so what do you think, Candice slow Pez, do
- 37:20Speaker 1: you share swimsuits?
- 37:21Speaker 5: No, just go buy one at the gift shop or
- 37:23Speaker 5: go buy one at one of those cheap swimwear stores.
- 37:25Speaker 5: I don't know where they are, but there's always a
- 37:27Speaker 5: cheap swimwear store and a like, you know, resortation.
- 37:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like everything is so expensive.
- 37:33Speaker 5: Well, I guess I'm just assuming I know where they
- 37:35Speaker 5: are and I don't. But yeah, some of them could
- 37:37Speaker 5: be expensive in the gift shop if it's like a
- 37:39Speaker 5: bougie hotel.
- 37:40Speaker 1: But what's the big deal about this are we? I mean, really,
- 37:45Speaker 1: it's not underwear.
- 37:46Speaker 5: It's almost underwear underwear. And if this guy's paining in
- 37:50Speaker 5: the pool like you do, alans to wear his pee swimsuits.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Okay, first of all, don't throw me under the bus.
- 37:57Speaker 5: I have nothing to do with this nasty I'm just saying,
- 38:01Speaker 5: like he might have.
- 38:02Speaker 4: Well, it depends on who it is. If I let
- 38:04Speaker 4: him borrow my swimsuit. It depends on who it is.
- 38:07Speaker 1: And also it depends if I want to borrow your
- 38:09Speaker 1: swimsuit if I was in this situation. Yeah. Also, what
- 38:12Speaker 1: kind of swimsuit do you wear? Yeah, that's another thing.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Does it have a liner? Does it not have a
- 38:16Speaker 1: liner in it?
- 38:17Speaker 5: I thought they all had a line.
- 38:18Speaker 1: Yeah, they all mine has liners. You know something?
- 38:22Speaker 5: They don't have liners?
- 38:23Speaker 2: Yes, swimsuits yeah, just like on.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Shorts don't have liners? Oh, all mine have liners. So
- 38:29Speaker 1: I think it's nasty. I don't want where I being
- 38:32Speaker 1: and you touch it. I just it's nasty.
- 38:34Speaker 5: Okay, it gives me the Yeah, you know it's to me.
- 38:39Speaker 1: There's chlorine. It kills everything. Would you let somebody borrow
- 38:43Speaker 1: your underwear?
- 38:45Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 38:45Speaker 1: Do you want to wear them?
- 38:46Speaker 4: No?
- 38:47Speaker 5: Do you want them back?
- 38:47Speaker 4: Though?
- 38:48Speaker 7: No?
- 38:48Speaker 5: I don't want them back right, but he wants a
- 38:50Speaker 5: swimsuit back. I don't know when I want vacation. I
- 38:53Speaker 5: have a specific rotation of swimsuits that I want to wear,
- 38:56Speaker 5: and he might be like, oh, I'm saving those green
- 38:59Speaker 5: ones for Friday.
- 39:00Speaker 4: See this is funny because there's no way girls who
- 39:02Speaker 4: borrow everything from each other. You mean to tell me
- 39:05Speaker 4: girls don't borrow swimsuits from each other.
- 39:06Speaker 5: Yeah, they do, moment, I'm sure you would them.
- 39:11Speaker 4: Well, I wouldn't pee in your swimsuit if I wore
- 39:14Speaker 4: I'm being honest. If Pooh's like, hey, you know what,
- 39:16Speaker 4: you don't have a swimsuit here, first, I wouldn't borrow
- 39:18Speaker 4: pooh swimsuit.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Swim clean. I've seen the swimsuits he wears.
- 39:23Speaker 2: They're just what do they look like?
- 39:24Speaker 1: They're just like, you know, I'm very touristy because I
- 39:28Speaker 1: got I got palm trees them. Yeah, he's very like.
- 39:32Speaker 5: Fun the flamingos, like your swimsuits should be extra.
- 39:35Speaker 1: It's old man vibes. No, like you know what you
- 39:40Speaker 1: know what I mean.
- 39:41Speaker 4: Below the knee or oh yeah, way below the knee,
- 39:45Speaker 4: you know, and they're just they got flowers on them.
- 39:47Speaker 2: It's not fun for me. Vibe.
- 39:52Speaker 4: Well, yeah, it just depends. But either way, I wouldn't
- 39:54Speaker 4: borrow his. So but if I was in a situation, pooh,
- 39:58Speaker 4: you need to tell me you wouldn't go here. You
- 40:00Speaker 4: can have my swim as much as much clothes as
- 40:03Speaker 4: I've given you.
- 40:03Speaker 1: Over the years. I knew he's going to say that, Yeah,
- 40:06Speaker 1: I'll give them to you. I don't want them back. Okay,
- 40:08Speaker 1: I'll give them to you. You have them.
- 40:10Speaker 4: But if you wanted him back, I'm gonna be courteous.
- 40:12Speaker 4: I'm going to tell you right now. Like when I
- 40:13Speaker 4: went to Zan's house for the pool party, I said, Zan,
- 40:17Speaker 4: I'm not gonna I'm not gonna pee.
- 40:18Speaker 1: In your pool, right And I genuinely didn't. I wanted
- 40:22Speaker 1: to because it's.
- 40:23Speaker 4: Such a pain to get out. You got a drink
- 40:25Speaker 4: in your hand, you got to dry off. Guys can
- 40:27Speaker 4: just pee on the side of the pool. That's what
- 40:29Speaker 4: I'll do at my house. I just pee in the backyard.
- 40:32Speaker 4: I'm just being honest.
- 40:35Speaker 5: I could do that.
- 40:36Speaker 1: I think most people do pee in the pool, and
- 40:38Speaker 1: most people just lie about it.
- 40:40Speaker 5: I know, but I don't.
- 40:41Speaker 2: I will never pee in the pool.
- 40:42Speaker 1: No either, I will go inside and use the restaurant.
- 40:45Speaker 1: I believe you, Cannie. I don't believe most men who
- 40:47Speaker 1: say that.
- 40:48Speaker 4: Well, I'm sorry, I won't. I don't want you going
- 40:50Speaker 4: to my house. I'd rather you pee in the backyard
- 40:52Speaker 4: than go all wet through my house properly.
- 40:56Speaker 1: Everybody says that and then they don't either way.
- 40:58Speaker 5: A few drinks the whole floor.
- 41:00Speaker 6: Is just.
- 41:02Speaker 4: It's not a big deal. Yeah, canus we have a verdict, though,
- 41:04Speaker 4: it's really about what you have to say about that.
- 41:06Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, you know how I feel about this guy.
- 41:08Speaker 5: You're guilty of being a boord short bread. Come on,
- 41:12Speaker 5: unless the gift shop doesn't have your size, go down there,
- 41:15Speaker 5: buy yourself your own swimsuit and let me wear the
- 41:18Speaker 5: one I plan to wear tomorrow.
- 41:20Speaker 1: Okay, what you know, what if it's a speedo? What
- 41:22Speaker 1: if I'm wearing a speedo?
- 41:23Speaker 2: Hospeedo, a speedo?
- 41:26Speaker 1: Sammy, Yes he is. Okay, So we can't share board shorts.
- 41:31Speaker 1: We can't share underwear. No.
- 41:33Speaker 5: I mean if you want him to keep the swimsuit
- 41:35Speaker 5: and never give it back, I mean, that's fine, but
- 41:37Speaker 5: you still need your swimsuit for the rest of the week.
- 41:39Speaker 1: He is guilty of being a.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Yeah board short Bread, welcome to the no fund zone.
- 41:44Speaker 1: You can't even share tidy White. He's on.
- 41:47Speaker 2: Top stories on the tents with Billy the Kid in
- 41:49Speaker 2: the morning, only on the new one.
- 41:53Speaker 1: You're not going on today, Canda, slow fest. What's up?
- 41:55Speaker 5: Well, the extreme heat continues today. We're expected to get
- 41:57Speaker 5: we were saying one oh four earlier someplaces even one
- 42:00Speaker 5: o six again today. There is a low chance for
- 42:04Speaker 5: rain in our northern counties later today, but our highest
- 42:06Speaker 5: temperatures will come around four pm. By the way, if
- 42:09Speaker 5: this helps, we are getting a peak at what this
- 42:11Speaker 5: winter season will look like. Because they're saying the El
- 42:15Speaker 5: Nino that's building in the Pacific on pace to break records.
- 42:19Speaker 5: So if that happens, this peak would be October through December,
- 42:22Speaker 5: which would mean wetter, cooler, and stormier weather.
- 42:25Speaker 1: I mean I don't want that.
- 42:27Speaker 5: I know, like sleep and all that stuff. It's exciting though,
- 42:30Speaker 5: when something's happening, it's just like the same thirty five
- 42:34Speaker 5: days of a heat Can it just run over?
- 42:36Speaker 1: Seventy and sunny? Well day for weather? Perfect day is what?
- 42:41Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 42:41Speaker 1: For me?
- 42:42Speaker 5: Probably sixty eight, Sunday sixty eight yeahssing clouds, breeze, slow
- 42:47Speaker 5: humidity a movie.
- 42:50Speaker 2: Yeah, ocean breeze.
- 42:51Speaker 1: Oh yeah, good lord you ask Yeah, cand of slope.
- 42:55Speaker 4: I was just gonna say, seventy and sunny like one
- 42:58Speaker 4: cumulus cloud would be great.
- 43:01Speaker 5: A light jacket, but maybe flip flops if you want.
- 43:03Speaker 4: I like that.
- 43:04Speaker 1: No, I would deal with that.
- 43:05Speaker 5: Okay, guys. Meta is being sued for one point for
- 43:08Speaker 5: it trillion dollars by twenty nine states. This federal trial
- 43:12Speaker 5: continues today, but these states say Facebook and Instagram are
- 43:15Speaker 5: hazardous to children's health. A lot going on with this
- 43:20Speaker 5: because you know, if they were to lose this lawsuit,
- 43:23Speaker 5: a lot of things could change, like the like button
- 43:25Speaker 5: could go away.
- 43:27Speaker 4: Well.
- 43:28Speaker 5: One of the main reasons teens they say are hooked
- 43:30Speaker 5: is the addiction to the like count, and they would
- 43:32Speaker 5: want to, you know, end these social validation metrics on
- 43:36Speaker 5: these platforms.
- 43:37Speaker 1: Well then ded delete the app?
- 43:38Speaker 2: Then, yeah, I mean you could.
- 43:40Speaker 5: Why you not that easy?
- 43:42Speaker 1: Mean you're gonna assume them for it.
- 43:43Speaker 4: I mean, I love that we're worried about Facebook and
- 43:45Speaker 4: were worried about Instagram while we pump our food full
- 43:48Speaker 4: of toxic chemicals, no kidding, So why don't we worry
- 43:51Speaker 4: about that before we worry about I mean, yeah, that
- 43:53Speaker 4: might be an issue with social media, but you also
- 43:55Speaker 4: have to be parents, go, I don't want my kids
- 43:56Speaker 4: on it.
- 43:57Speaker 5: Yeah, I know. It's just so hard the peer pressure
- 43:59Speaker 5: from kids they disconnect from their friends because they're not
- 44:02Speaker 5: involved in social media. It's such a tough position for
- 44:05Speaker 5: parents to be in. But they're you know, saying the
- 44:08Speaker 5: opening statements yesterday from the California AG was basically saying,
- 44:12Speaker 5: you know, you guys were saying these were safe for kids,
- 44:15Speaker 5: all while hiding the truth saying, you know, they hook
- 44:18Speaker 5: users and harvest their data. And then you know, they
- 44:21Speaker 5: had a whistleblower testify who said, you know, the number
- 44:24Speaker 5: of teens exposed to graphic content was also at least
- 44:27Speaker 5: one hundred times higher than Meta actually reported. So I'll
- 44:30Speaker 5: be curious to see what comes of this. It's a
- 44:32Speaker 5: big deal though that no, it is.
- 44:33Speaker 4: If they're targeting kids for certain things, Yeah, that's different. Otherwise,
- 44:37Speaker 4: I mean a like bunon come on.
- 44:40Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it's mental health.
- 44:41Speaker 5: It's not helping, but you know it's still happening every.
- 44:44Speaker 2: Day, you know, on phones.
- 44:45Speaker 5: Yeah, guys. Dane Cook has a new documentary coming out.
- 44:49Speaker 5: It's called Funny Money The Dane Cook Story, and it
- 44:52Speaker 5: talks about how his half brother sold twelve million dollars
- 44:56Speaker 5: from him. He would hide this money in multiple places.
- 45:00Speaker 5: One example was that they said he even hid bricks
- 45:02Speaker 5: of cash inside jars of spaghetti sauce to steal it.
- 45:06Speaker 5: So he would like take the stacks of cash, wrap
- 45:09Speaker 5: them in plastic and put them in the spaghetti sauce.
- 45:11Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, just to steal right, thousands and thousands
- 45:14Speaker 4: of dollars. But he was found guilty. Didn't he get
- 45:16Speaker 4: his money back? Er?
- 45:16Speaker 7: No?
- 45:17Speaker 5: Yeah, well, he was found guilty. He spent I think
- 45:19Speaker 5: his wife also spent up to six years in jail.
- 45:23Speaker 5: But he was hired, you know, to be Dane's business manager,
- 45:26Speaker 5: which he was for over a decade, and that's how
- 45:28Speaker 5: he had the access to Dane's bank accounts. But he
- 45:31Speaker 5: was withdrawing twenty to one hundred thousand dollars at a
- 45:34Speaker 5: time for years. He did, you know, plead guilty though
- 45:37Speaker 5: to twenty seven charges, embezzlement charges, a couple of other things.
- 45:41Speaker 5: But it's crazy. Yeah, that happens to people.
- 45:44Speaker 1: How do you not notice? You know, you're so rich.
- 45:46Speaker 4: If you're not even noticing twenty thousand, hundred thousand dollars,
- 45:49Speaker 4: you're just gone right wow, Yeah.
- 45:51Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm cand of sloppez. Those are your Texas top
- 45:54Speaker 5: stories on Mixed one o two point nine.
- 45:56Speaker 4: Can did you think kids back in the day had work?
- 45:58Speaker 4: You think parents back in the day were like when
- 45:59Speaker 4: the telephone came out, You think they were like, oh,
- 46:02Speaker 4: we gotta get our kids off this telephone. They're talking
- 46:04Speaker 4: to each other. It's ruining their lives. No, no, no,
- 46:08Speaker 4: I'm just wondering, like, because there's always gonna be something.
- 46:10Speaker 5: New, Yeah, I mean it was good for us to
- 46:12Speaker 5: be able to socialize from home. Yeah, and that way,
- 46:15Speaker 5: just talking was enough.
- 46:16Speaker 1: If it's not Instagram or TikTok, it's going to be
- 46:18Speaker 1: something else.
- 46:19Speaker 4: Yeah, So at the end of the day, you just
- 46:20Speaker 4: gotta be parents, and sometimes that's making tough.
- 46:23Speaker 5: The world is hard to parent in though it is.
- 46:26Speaker 1: Oh that's a hot take. Let us know what you think.
- 46:29Speaker 5: Here's today's hot take and.
- 46:31Speaker 4: Mixed one or two point nine. Good morning, it's Billy Kid.
- 46:33Speaker 4: Cande Lopez is here, Producer poo is here. Thank you

- 46:45Speaker 4: we're gonna show up to your school.
- 46:47Speaker 1: Next week and just give you surprises.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Yeah why not.
- 46:49Speaker 4: So just all you gotta do is just tag us
- 46:51Speaker 4: on Instagram at makes one of two nine FM. We
- 46:53Speaker 4: appreciate that, but there's so many good ones that are
- 46:55Speaker 4: coming through.
- 46:55Speaker 1: I like that.
- 46:55Speaker 5: Yeah, they're fun to see.
- 46:56Speaker 1: Yeah, they are hot.
- 46:57Speaker 4: Take of the day. Now this is going viral. Or
- 47:00Speaker 4: this woman was going for a job interview and she
- 47:03Speaker 4: was turned away. She was going to Aldie and she
- 47:06Speaker 4: was turned away. And I had to edit this and
- 47:07Speaker 4: with one broken hand, hopefully i edited it correctly because
- 47:10Speaker 4: otherwise she has a potty mouth.
- 47:12Speaker 1: Cam Yeah, she has a potty mouth. But listen, know
- 47:15Speaker 1: why she was turned away?
- 47:17Speaker 9: So I'm standing in the spring because at seven nineteen
- 47:22Speaker 9: in the morning, now, because I was mother sent to
- 47:27Speaker 9: an interview for Aldi, this stupid dumb ass ALLDI, I
- 47:32Speaker 9: literally pull up how about the uber?
- 47:35Speaker 2: Four minutes?
- 47:36Speaker 1: Like four minutes? It was three minutes and by the
- 47:38Speaker 1: time I got to the door, it was four minutes.
- 47:40Speaker 9: Bump back, veggie tail, Corbon blue hybrid.
- 47:44Speaker 1: Okay, wait a minute, what did she call this guy.
- 47:50Speaker 7: Carbon?
- 47:52Speaker 1: What does that even mean? I have the worst visual
- 47:55Speaker 1: in my head of this guy. Okay, So then.
- 47:59Speaker 9: Told me I could not even be considered as an
- 48:02Speaker 9: interview because I was four minutes quattro manuto late.
- 48:06Speaker 4: Ain't no views, quadro quadrolingual?
- 48:11Speaker 1: Yeah, how did you not hire? She's bilingual?
- 48:13Speaker 4: Squattro Manuto's late, she's funny and by the way, yeah
- 48:17Speaker 4: she is funny.
- 48:18Speaker 1: Is she on life support in the background?
- 48:19Speaker 5: I don't know what that?
- 48:20Speaker 1: What is going on in the background? Listen, it's ain't
- 48:22Speaker 1: no views?
- 48:25Speaker 5: Who is running all due like for my bazy four minutes?
- 48:31Speaker 4: Okay, So the hot take the day is but someone
- 48:34Speaker 4: who's four minutes late? Should they be turned away like
- 48:38Speaker 4: this woman was at Aldi? What do you think, Canice Lopez?
- 48:43Speaker 5: This is such a hard one because it's only four minutes,
- 48:46Speaker 5: like five minutes, okay, but like you're not even like
- 48:48Speaker 5: an even fiber and even ten. But I've never been
- 48:52Speaker 5: late for a job interview.
- 48:53Speaker 2: If anything, I.
- 48:54Speaker 5: Am early, and I will sit there and make sure
- 48:57Speaker 5: that I don't have to be nervous about where am
- 48:59Speaker 5: I going, who am I talking to?
- 49:00Speaker 2: Which door am I going through?
- 49:02Speaker 1: Right? You know what I mean. You're a very timely person.
- 49:05Speaker 1: You're not I am. I respect that.
- 49:07Speaker 5: But I feel bad for her because it was raining.
- 49:10Speaker 5: Anything could happen.
- 49:11Speaker 2: Life does happen, Okay, So you would not turn her away.
- 49:15Speaker 5: I would not turn her away.
- 49:16Speaker 1: You would not turn her away.
- 49:17Speaker 4: You'd let her come into all the and continue the
- 49:19Speaker 4: interview process. Producer Pooh, someone who is never late to work,
- 49:25Speaker 4: late for everything else.
- 49:26Speaker 1: Okay, that's just random. I'm glad you stressed that, but
- 49:30Speaker 1: never late for work. I would say that.
- 49:32Speaker 4: But if you want him anywhere else in the world,
- 49:34Speaker 4: you got to tell him a whole different time.
- 49:37Speaker 1: That's okay, that's true.
- 49:39Speaker 5: Works a priority.
- 49:40Speaker 1: Exactly, and it makes it to work on time. What
- 49:43Speaker 1: would you do?
- 49:44Speaker 6: I would cut her some slack. Wow, yeah, I would
- 49:47Speaker 6: cut her some slack. I mean, what's four minutes? Come on,
- 49:50Speaker 6: four minutes is saying a lot to me. Yeah, that's
- 49:53Speaker 6: why the answer for me is no, you can go
- 49:54Speaker 6: home now. Okay, you can go home, because listen first
- 49:59Speaker 6: and press are everything. I understand that things happen.
- 50:02Speaker 4: I also know that I tell my son who's fifteen,
- 50:05Speaker 4: who's going to be going on job interviews soon and
- 50:07Speaker 4: anything else in life.
- 50:08Speaker 1: If you're not twenty minutes early, you're late.
- 50:10Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I allow so much extra time because
- 50:13Speaker 5: I care so much. Yes, right, this is also a
- 50:16Speaker 5: job at Aldi that it sounds like maybe there were
- 50:18Speaker 5: a lot of people I'm trying to do these interviews.
- 50:21Speaker 4: Exactly, and that's why you should be there. I'm sorry
- 50:22Speaker 4: if your ruber was late. I'm sorry that it was raining,
- 50:25Speaker 4: I'm sorry all that stuff. But yeah, I don't know.
- 50:27Speaker 4: I mean, I appreciate your time, but you can go home.
- 50:30Speaker 1: And then she goes off online cussing all the out. Yeah,
- 50:33Speaker 1: I think I made the right decisions.
- 50:34Speaker 6: Yeah, she shouldn't have done that, but I would at
- 50:36Speaker 6: least tried to call and say, hey, this is such
- 50:39Speaker 6: such I'm interviewing, I have an interview schedule, and I'm
- 50:42Speaker 6: in the rain.
- 50:43Speaker 1: I'm running a little late. Maybe at least do a
- 50:45Speaker 1: courtesy call.
- 50:46Speaker 5: You could try. She's not going to get to the
- 50:48Speaker 5: hiring manager.
- 50:49Speaker 6: No, she probably won't, but at least one of the
- 50:52Speaker 6: managers will know. Oh that girl Lisa, she called, you know,
- 50:56Speaker 6: give her a chance.
- 50:57Speaker 1: Maybe.
- 50:58Speaker 5: I mean, I don't know how she's going to get
- 50:59Speaker 5: a job eight where now after posting this.
- 51:01Speaker 2: Yeah unfortunately.
- 51:03Speaker 5: Yeah, that's tell me she has some questionable decision making.
- 51:07Speaker 5: To your point, you're right, she probably wasn't a good hire.
- 51:10Speaker 4: Yeah, it's only four minutes. It doesn't matter if it's
- 51:12Speaker 4: four minutes. It's just the The whole point is, how
- 51:15Speaker 4: are you not there early? I tell my son, if
- 51:16Speaker 4: you're going for a job and you get there early,
- 51:18Speaker 4: and then you can let them know you're there early. Hey,
- 51:20Speaker 4: no pressure, but if you need me early, I'm here. Yeah.
- 51:22Speaker 5: That's what I did. Monday. I had a meeting and
- 51:24Speaker 5: I was early, and I just went up. I was like, hey,
- 51:26Speaker 5: I'm just checking in. I'm here. No rush, I'm gonna
- 51:29Speaker 5: just hang out, but you know, let her and they
- 51:30Speaker 5: actually came and got me early.
- 51:32Speaker 1: Is Candice going on a job interviews?
- 51:34Speaker 5: Well no, I just it's not a job interview.
- 51:36Speaker 1: Something you need to tell me.
- 51:37Speaker 5: Oh my gosh.
- 51:38Speaker 1: Okay, are you leaving us? Get your radio family. You
- 51:41Speaker 1: can't quit us, Yeah, you can't quit us? All okay? Yeah? No, see,
- 51:45Speaker 1: I'm the same way. I've been on one job interview
- 51:47Speaker 1: of my entire life.
- 51:49Speaker 2: Yeah, one, same And I just was.
- 51:53Speaker 1: Bennigans. You got the job?
- 51:55Speaker 5: My first job here at Mix one two nine, like
- 51:58Speaker 5: as a part timer?
- 51:59Speaker 4: Yours The one job interview I did I did not
- 52:01Speaker 4: get okay? It was at Champs Restaurant, Remember Champs? Oh yeah,
- 52:06Speaker 4: And I applied when I was like sixteen seventeen to
- 52:08Speaker 4: be the DJ to do karaoke night and host it.
- 52:11Speaker 1: And the guy told me I didn't have the voice,
- 52:13Speaker 1: oh wow to do it. Okay. I'm like, oh okay,
- 52:17Speaker 1: he goes, but if you want, you can be a bouncer.
- 52:21Speaker 5: Okay.
- 52:22Speaker 4: So I ended up working there checking id's and being
- 52:25Speaker 4: a bouncer. And guess who was the DJ who ended
- 52:29Speaker 4: up having a better voice than me?
- 52:30Speaker 1: O him.
- 52:32Speaker 4: He hired himself to do it get out. Yeah, And
- 52:35Speaker 4: he'd get on the mic and at Champs and he'd be.
- 52:37Speaker 1: Like, well the karaoke died. It's Champs.
- 52:40Speaker 4: And I was like, and then I quit to be
- 52:42Speaker 4: on the radio, right And I was like, I'm quitting
- 52:44Speaker 4: because I'm on the radio. And he was like, wait
- 52:46Speaker 4: what And I'm like, yeah, I guess I don't have
- 52:49Speaker 4: the voice for Champs. But somehow I'll make it here.
- 52:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know, and I quit.
- 52:54Speaker 5: Wow, good luck with karaoke night.
- 52:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't make it on karaoke issue. You talking
- 52:58Speaker 1: like that? Yeah?
- 53:00Speaker 2: Wild with a chest.
- 53:03Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, why are you talking like that?
- 53:05Speaker 4: He's like, that's how you gotta do it. Yeah, you
- 53:08Speaker 4: got to project yourself. And I was like, oh, that's
- 53:11Speaker 4: how I'm gonna start talking. Maybe he's listening right now.
- 53:14Speaker 1: Mix one.
- 53:17Speaker 4: You like that?
- 53:17Speaker 1: Candade Okay?
- 53:19Speaker 5: Fine one two point nine kid.
- 53:22Speaker 1: Candice Lopez producer.
- 53:24Speaker 4: Pooh, But I broke my hand and yesterday I'm going
- 53:26Speaker 4: through DMS because I mean, I'm in a lot of
- 53:28Speaker 4: pain right now because I need a real cast and
- 53:31Speaker 4: you figure out if I need surgery.
- 53:32Speaker 1: I broke it playing basketball.
- 53:33Speaker 4: I fell hard on it, but I got so many
- 53:35Speaker 4: dms of people trying to help, and I appreciate it,
- 53:38Speaker 4: but I can't type back fast enough right now, so
- 53:41Speaker 4: I'm trying to like talk back.
- 53:43Speaker 1: Like literally send a voice message. So, but thank you.
- 53:46Speaker 4: I'm seeing him and they're just very kind, going, hey,
- 53:50Speaker 4: here's a doctor I know, or I can get you
- 53:52Speaker 4: in over here. I finally got into a place that
- 53:54Speaker 4: I'm going to today in South Bank. But yeah, so
- 53:57Speaker 4: cause I don't know if I need surgery or not. Yeah,
- 53:59Speaker 4: and there's a bone I'm like dislocated my hand and
- 54:01Speaker 4: broke and it just hurts. Of course I can't do anything. Yeah,
- 54:06Speaker 4: you know, I can't even like undo my pants go
- 54:07Speaker 4: to the bathroom. Who's gotta come in in the monent?
- 54:10Speaker 4: Such a good friend? Oh boy, No, he doesn't do that.
- 54:13Speaker 1: I got you. Oh by the way, heads up, this
- 54:17Speaker 1: is good news.
- 54:17Speaker 4: Taco Bell is bringing back four fan favorites from back
- 54:21Speaker 4: in the day on their menu, and I don't know why.
- 54:23Speaker 4: I just got so excited because it's one of my
- 54:25Speaker 4: favorite places. If I'm gonna eat junk food and just whatever,
- 54:28Speaker 4: I'm going to Taco Bell.
- 54:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 54:29Speaker 4: It just reminds me of my childhood. They're bringing back
- 54:31Speaker 4: the naked Chicken chilupa.
- 54:33Speaker 5: Open the naked Chicken Chalupa.
- 54:35Speaker 1: Yeah you remember that?
- 54:36Speaker 5: Or no, yeah, I remember the name.
- 54:37Speaker 1: But they're bringing back the beefy crunch burrito. Oh, that was.
- 54:41Speaker 5: Definitely remember that.
- 54:42Speaker 1: They're bringing back the caramel apple and banada.
- 54:45Speaker 2: Okay, remember that?
- 54:47Speaker 4: And the one thing that's been my favorite thing ever
- 54:49Speaker 4: on the menu, what the Mexican pizza.
- 54:52Speaker 1: No, well, they already brought that back. Brought that back.
- 54:56Speaker 1: They're bringing back the Mexi melt. Oh do you remember
- 55:01Speaker 1: the mex Yeah.
- 55:03Speaker 4: That's just my big back news for the day I
- 55:05Speaker 4: got Anyway, Cannis, what's how about you?
- 55:08Speaker 5: Well, I met up with my family last night because
- 55:10Speaker 5: my niece moves into college tomorrow, is my oldest niece.
- 55:13Speaker 5: So I was super emotional about that last night. So
- 55:16Speaker 5: I was talking to her about, like she's moving to Tyler,
- 55:18Speaker 5: you know, what's going on with the job situation.
- 55:20Speaker 2: So she had been.
- 55:21Speaker 5: Interviewing at Chick fil A and apparently she said there's
- 55:24Speaker 5: like five or six interviews in the process of getting
- 55:27Speaker 5: a job at.
- 55:27Speaker 2: Chick fil A.
- 55:28Speaker 1: Five five.
- 55:29Speaker 5: Yes, I think she's going for her fourth interview next Thursday.
- 55:33Speaker 1: Wait a minute, five interviews to get a.
- 55:36Speaker 5: Job at Chick fil A, Right, And so she's been
- 55:38Speaker 5: driving from the Metroplex to Tyler for each of those
- 55:41Speaker 5: interviews every time because she asked us secure a job.
- 55:44Speaker 2: That's insane.
- 55:45Speaker 5: I've never had that many interviews for a job in
- 55:47Speaker 5: my life.
- 55:47Speaker 4: We were just talking about job interviews with that girl
- 55:49Speaker 4: who was four minutes late. Yeah, you know, and they
- 55:52Speaker 4: turned her the wealthy job. And then I just saw
- 55:54Speaker 4: another thing about a job interview where the woman went
- 55:56Speaker 4: viral because she was going to a job, but it
- 55:58Speaker 4: was like a corporate job. Yeah, where there was I
- 56:00Speaker 4: have interviews and she on the fifth interview, she said,
- 56:02Speaker 4: you know what, withdraw my application. Wow, I don't want
- 56:05Speaker 4: to work here. Yeah, that's insane. Five interviews is too much, ridiculous.
- 56:09Speaker 5: I have a friend who just lost a job. He
- 56:11Speaker 5: had interviewed six times.
- 56:12Speaker 1: For six times. Yes, you know what.
- 56:15Speaker 4: At some point, I think, especially if it's a high
- 56:17Speaker 4: level job, they're just trying to get your ideas. Yeah,
- 56:20Speaker 4: and they're just talking to you and they're just getting
- 56:21Speaker 4: everything out of you and then they're like bye, and
- 56:23Speaker 4: then they don't hire you.
- 56:25Speaker 7: Right.
- 56:25Speaker 1: Maybe I'm wrong, though, who knows all right producer, Pooh,
- 56:28Speaker 1: what's about you?
- 56:28Speaker 6: Oh?
- 56:28Speaker 1: I made so salsa. I need to try it out.
- 56:33Speaker 1: I really want to sell it this year. Okay, yeah,
- 56:35Speaker 1: I got to take steps to get it right.
- 56:37Speaker 7: I know that.
- 56:38Speaker 4: I know that we joke around about poo and you know,
- 56:41Speaker 4: he's late and he messes up, but his salsa is
- 56:44Speaker 4: on point.
- 56:44Speaker 5: Oh yeah, it's some of the best sauce I've ever had.
- 56:46Speaker 1: I don't know how he makes it. I don't even
- 56:49Speaker 1: want to know. Maybe he doesn't make it, maybe he's
- 56:50Speaker 1: paying someone to make it.
- 56:52Speaker 5: He did just go to Central Market the other day yesterday, yesterday. Yeah,
- 56:57Speaker 5: he bought the ingredients there to make it. I'm sure.
- 57:00Speaker 1: Now, what are you gonna call it? If you buy?
- 57:01Speaker 1: If you make it, what is the brain going to
- 57:03Speaker 1: be called? Well? I like the name you It came
- 57:05Speaker 1: up with that Texas Heat. Okay, yeah, okay, I kind
- 57:09Speaker 1: of like that.
- 57:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 57:11Speaker 1: I thought you're gonna call it something else.
- 57:13Speaker 5: We have a soccer team in our neighborhood called Texas.
- 57:16Speaker 1: I want to call it Verdet Negro. I like it.
- 57:20Speaker 6: Because it's greens green sauca, which is Verdet, and it's
- 57:24Speaker 6: made by Negro, which is me.
- 57:29Speaker 4: Okay, you know, if you're interested in investing him the
- 57:36Speaker 4: radio on Instagram, what do you gotta do?
- 57:38Speaker 1: I mean, can you just sell it?
- 57:39Speaker 4: No?
- 57:39Speaker 6: I gotta get the you know the packaging on the
- 57:42Speaker 6: back that tells artificial flavors and all that other stuff
- 57:45Speaker 6: to scientific There is no artificial flavors.
- 57:47Speaker 1: I know that, but you have.
- 57:50Speaker 6: Right.
- 57:50Speaker 1: But you have to get canus won either ingredients? Get
- 57:53Speaker 1: the ingredients in order for me to really sell it.
- 57:56Speaker 1: You got to send it off to do that. Yeah,
- 57:57Speaker 1: there's a guy in town who does it like he's
- 58:00Speaker 1: jit scientists.
- 58:01Speaker 4: Food scientists. Yeah, food scientists. He does it for a
- 58:03Speaker 4: launch as that cost five grade. Okay, you got twenty
- 58:07Speaker 4: five on it.
- 58:08Speaker 1: Maybe next year. There you go. Candas is in. This
- 58:13Speaker 1: is Shark take. I'm out Texas Top.
- 58:16Speaker 5: Stories on the Tents with Billy the Kid in the
- 58:18Speaker 5: Morning only on the new Mixed one or two point.
- 58:22Speaker 1: Nine ereak Candas Slow Pass.
- 58:23Speaker 5: What is going on? Well, Plano based pizza Hut is
- 58:25Speaker 5: looking to bring in more customers and time for football
- 58:28Speaker 5: season by dropping the pizza from their name. They're now
- 58:30Speaker 5: just going to be going by Hut. This is just
- 58:33Speaker 5: temporary though, guys. They're going to cover up the word
- 58:35Speaker 5: pizza on their signs by putting a red football over it.
- 58:39Speaker 5: So basically you just see Hut. That's the name till
- 58:42Speaker 5: the end.
- 58:42Speaker 1: Of the month. So it's not for good. It's just
- 58:44Speaker 1: for the end of the montha football or whatever.
- 58:46Speaker 5: Just something fun to do, yeah, to get people talking.
- 58:49Speaker 5: And then, by the way, we were talking about this earlier,
- 58:51Speaker 5: Michael D and me and said that Greenville, Texas is
- 58:54Speaker 5: where they do have one of the old school classic
- 58:56Speaker 5: Pizza Hut locations.
- 58:57Speaker 4: Okay, but producer now and I were thinking about somewhere
- 59:01Speaker 4: else because junior old school pizza by you, by your house,
- 59:06Speaker 4: there is somewhere what is it.
- 59:07Speaker 1: Yeah, there's one. It's on Oh my gosh, I think
- 59:10Speaker 1: it sound like. Yeah, it doesn't look whole school, but
- 59:14Speaker 1: they have like the pizza Hut buffet. Okay, that's all
- 59:17Speaker 1: I need. Yeah, okay, that's what I was thinking about.
- 59:20Speaker 5: Somewhere on the buffet than the day Corps.
- 59:22Speaker 1: Exactly somewhere about three down three eighty.
- 59:24Speaker 5: I knew it was over there, so okay, good to
- 59:26Speaker 5: know guys, guys, Prince Harry and Megan Markle are moving
- 59:29Speaker 5: back to England. They left and gave up their royal
- 59:32Speaker 5: duties six years ago in the middle of battles with
- 59:34Speaker 5: the British tabloids and of course that drama with the
- 59:37Speaker 5: royal family. So their new home will be non royal.
- 59:41Speaker 5: They are going to keep their homes in California and Portugal.
- 59:44Speaker 5: But I guess they let King Charles know this past
- 59:47Speaker 5: weekend that that was their plan, and it sounds like
- 59:50Speaker 5: Prince William and Kate were blindsided by this. But you know,
- 59:53Speaker 5: people are saying because of King Charles and his health issues,
- 59:56Speaker 5: you know, he's been in cancer treatments for the last
- 59:58Speaker 5: three years, that that may have played a factor in
- 1:00:01Speaker 5: their decision to go back to England.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: Okay, so they're.
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: Keeping their houses here, but they're saying, imagine that he's
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: giving up being a royal, right, not me, Not me either.
- 1:00:10Speaker 5: I mean, when you break it down, it's kind of
- 1:00:12Speaker 5: IgG the things that they dealt with.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Kind of ache if you're not a royal.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: Yeah, calling non roy bends fun.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna start calling people non royals. That sounds so degrading.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: It's like a yeah, they ain't trying to be a
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: peasant now, I'm trying to be a king. I'm trying
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: to be a prince something. I'll be a gesture whatever
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: I gotta be.
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: What else is there for Prince Harry to do? Like
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: he's never gonna be king walk around and be rich.
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: You don't have to do that, You don't have to
- 1:00:38Speaker 6: do nothing. Yeah, he's doing it, but not as much
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: as he would if he had that.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Poo Prince Pooh. Oh boy, thou stand up for Prince pooh.
- 1:00:48Speaker 6: Yes here ye hear ye, coming forward, ladies, bring thy booties.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: Close up, We're getting out of castle.
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: Yeah, put the drawbridge up, guys capeop. Demon Hunters are
- 1:01:07Speaker 5: at the center of a new lawsuit. So the Christian
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: heavy metal band demon Hunter filed a trademark lawsuit against Netflix.
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: They say the movie caused substantial confusion, confusion, and that
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: one father actually spent five hundred dollars on tickets to
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: their concert, thinking he was taking his daughters to a
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: K pop show, which is wild.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Show up and it's a heavy metal Christian rock band.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, bro, let's go.
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: I guess this band trademark to demon Hunter in twenty
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: twenty two, even though you know they've been recording and
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: touring for about twenty five years. But this lawsuit says
- 1:01:40Speaker 5: this is an existential crisis to the band's brand, and
- 1:01:43Speaker 5: I'm curious to see what happens with that.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: No offense.
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: But the Christian heavy metal group, are they really like
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: selling out stadiums? They should be excited if somebody accidentally
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: buys a ticket. It's like, showed up at this concert.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: Here I am.
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: I guess, yeah, you're not wrong. I mean I didn't
- 1:01:59Speaker 5: know who they were.
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: I like the bands who call themselves something funny, Like
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: you know, there was one band I saw that named
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: themselves free Beer, so on every flyer they would be
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: doubt hey, free beer Smart And the other.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: Band was like called no Cover.
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: Okay, so Peop would show up but all their shows
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: because it said free beer and no cover.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: It's a good night's genius.
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: Yeah, real quick, guys. We got to say congrats to
- 1:02:21Speaker 5: post Malone on his engagement to girlfriend Christy Lee. I
- 1:02:25Speaker 5: guess her friend was the first to report this online.
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: This just happened in Utah, but the two were first
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: leaked together earlier last year when they were spotted in
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: Europe together. I think they broke up for a little
- 1:02:36Speaker 5: while back together. But this is not the mother of
- 1:02:39Speaker 5: his daughter, who he was also engaged to at one point.
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: But the photo looks cute. They look happy.
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: They do look happy, and congratulations to post Even though
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: the girls look the same like the mother of his children,
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: they'd look very similar.
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: Well that's why I had to take a double take
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: and then be like, wait a minute, did they get
- 1:02:53Speaker 5: back together? I thought, Oh, what a cute story.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: I was kind of hoping they did.
- 1:02:57Speaker 5: Yeah, for the little girl's sake.
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: Yeah, but ex and I've never seen a post Malone's
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: daughter that he doesn't put pictures out of her, does he?
- 1:03:04Speaker 5: I've never seen her.
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: Well yeah, grat.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Rat's to Posty. We love posts.
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: There you go.
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: I'm Kanda Slopez. Those are your Texas top stories on
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: Mixed one or two point nine.
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: This is dirty Little Secret.
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: Think of the iHeart Radio Music Festival next month in Vegas.
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: A shot to win a trip on us is coming
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: to next Plus. You get to take a friend and
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: it's so much fun, so make sure you listen. It's
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: Mixed one or two point nine. A billy kid, Canda
- 1:03:28Speaker 4: Slopez is here, so is producer Pooh. It is time
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: for your dirty little Secret and if you got one
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: eight three three, seven, eight, seven, one oh two nine,
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: doesn't matter what that secret is.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Bring it on.
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: So let's start already. You know, we just started back
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: to school, and I'm already failing as a mom.
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: Totally, no failing, he said, you're failing.
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: No, I am failing. Yes, my daughters. She just started
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: third grade this year, and she is the light of
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: my life. I love her more than anything. She's funny,
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: she's creative, she's sweet. She has this huge personality just
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: shines like, you know, like the sun.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: But school and.
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: Academics are a bit more of a struggle for her.
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: And her biggest problem is with math. Okay, so for
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: some reason she just doesn't get it.
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: It doesn't click.
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: I mean she'll sit there and she tries so hard
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: with me.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: I'm still awful of math.
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: I struggled in third grade with it. My dad had
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: to buy me a cassette tape with the multiplication tables
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: on it because I could learn music. I could learn lyrics,
- 1:04:34Speaker 5: but I couldn't do multipation. Yeah it was a song
- 1:04:37Speaker 5: and so I could do it.
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: So a lot of people deal with this struggle, but
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: she's struggling. Yeah, some academic especially math.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: I get it.
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, she just gets totally frustrated because you know,
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: the other kids in the class will catch on right away,
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: and it's just not happening anyhow. So this year, the
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: school put her in like a special smaller class that
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: supposedly gives the kids more attention and extra help when
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: they're struggling a bit, or you know, maybe it just
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: takes them a while longer to catch one, which is good,
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: that's all good. But my secret is that I didn't
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: tell her this. And you know, since it's a separate
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: class from like what most of the kids are doing
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: for their math. I told her that it's a special
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: advanced class because she's really smart, so she gets to
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: see in this different class.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: No, wait, so you.
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: Told I know, so she's in a special class for
- 1:05:39Speaker 4: people who you know might take a little more effort.
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: And yeah, they can allow a little more time and
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: have more patience with the way they learn.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: And you told her it was an ap class.
- 1:05:51Speaker 8: Oh no, I know her, you know, I.
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: Know, I mean like it might sadder down and said,
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: you know you're going into this class because you're you know,
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: you're behind the other kids. I mean, she wouldn't hear,
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: you know, you just learned differently and need you know,
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: a little more attention.
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: She'd just hear I'm dumb, I'm stupid.
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: Well, I can't let her think she's dumb because that's
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: not going to help things either. I mean, you know,
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: it's just can only make it worse. And the thing is,
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: it's like my fan has worked just a little bit
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: too well, and she's.
- 1:06:27Speaker 6: Like really proud.
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: Now she's telling tell your grandparents, Oh, I'm in an
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: advanced quair. I heard her tell another mother, you know, Oh, well,
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: I'm in the smart kid math class this year. I mean,
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: I'm like Diana, I want to ye, And I'm scared
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: that some other kids are going to like realize and say,
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: you know, and correct her and say, oh no, you know,
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: you're going to figure out that this is not exactly
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: what this class is and realize that maybe I can
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: tell her the truth. So I'm probably not handling this
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: the right way. But you know, I think maybe I
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: don't know if I could have explained it differently instead
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: of completely making something.
- 1:07:15Speaker 6: Up to.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: Should have.
- 1:07:20Speaker 5: You're kind of locked in.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: That's the promise, Like, now what do you do?
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly what do you do now.
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: That we're in this situation that you are, well, she
- 1:07:29Speaker 4: thinks she's Einstein, and that's the opposite. I don't think
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: you can do anything now. You have to just let
- 1:07:36Speaker 4: it ride out. You have to if anything, you have
- 1:07:39Speaker 4: a conversation with her about going, Hey, listen, some some
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: people just I wouldn't brag about anything. Let's talk about that, Like,
- 1:07:47Speaker 4: let's not talk about what you're in and what other
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: people aren't.
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: Let's just make other kids jealous, right, No, don't say that.
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: And then you curb that, and then eventually she can
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: just like maybe this is just the excitement, or she'll
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: forget that there's anything different about it, and she'll just
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: go to class and it is what it is, all
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: right for your sake.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: But you're doing the best you can as a mom.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: You didn't do anything wrong. You might it might be
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: a little bit misguided. Yeah that's what we're saying. Yeah,
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: misguided guided.
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: But thank you for confessing that. Yes, let us know
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: what happens though, Okay, trying to be a good parent.
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: That's how I'm trying to do. You know, Like we
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: were talking about earlier, my friend Matt, who is you know,
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: he took a different sized bus to.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: School, aren't sure. There's nothing wrong with took the short bus.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: Yeah he did, and that's fine.
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: And his mom said, oh, it's because it's faster, and
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: that's what he believed and that's and I would always
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: stick up for him IM like, yeah, no, it is
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: fast with other kids on the bus stop the same
- 1:08:53Speaker 4: bus stop. Well, Crystal messaged me and she said she
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: took that bus too to school and her mom told
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: her the same thing.
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: Is less people lost stops.
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: Yeah, see it's faster.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: Yes, it's it's just an express bus. Yeah, that's all
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: it is. Oh, I mean, pooh, what to get it together?
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: Dirty less secret. There you go.
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: We'll do it again tomorrow morning at seven thirty, seven thirty.
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: Don't forget Bill at a kid. Candas Slow Pats producer, Pooh,
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: we're out of here. We'll see you tomorrow. Have a
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: great day whatever you do.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: Stay cool. It's gonna be like one hundred and eighty out.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: So Candas, what are you got going on?
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:09:27Speaker 5: I gotta get a little piece of my car fixed
- 1:09:29Speaker 5: because someone hit me and slid on the back of
- 1:09:31Speaker 5: my car and just left.
- 1:09:33Speaker 9: What.
- 1:09:33Speaker 5: Yeah, there's like red paint on the back of my car.
- 1:09:36Speaker 5: But my brother's gonna fix it because that's what he does.
- 1:09:38Speaker 5: Oh yeah, that's yeah, but I got to get that
- 1:09:40Speaker 5: fixed today. I hate when people just do stuff and
- 1:09:43Speaker 5: just leave, Like I don't know that I was claiming
- 1:09:44Speaker 5: it on insurance, but like they went through the paint.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: Yeah, it was enough to make an impact on your life.
- 1:09:49Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: That's a ridiculous Who drives a red car that we know?
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: I don't know Junior.
- 1:09:55Speaker 5: Junior would never hit my.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: Oh yeah he would, yeah, but his car wouldn't survive that.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true, and I know where it was.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: So yeah, Okay, that sucks. I'm sure. All right. Yeah, well,
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: at least you don't have to go get your hand reset.
- 1:10:09Speaker 5: Is that what they're going to do.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: I'm nervous because somebody said, oh yeah, they might have
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: to reset the bone because I broke my hand. Yeah,
- 1:10:14Speaker 4: and the bones like all wonky in there, so it's
- 1:10:17Speaker 4: like off to the side. So I'm either going to
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: just get a cast or surgery, I guess. So I
- 1:10:22Speaker 4: got to go find out. But the thing is, I
- 1:10:24Speaker 4: want to take my medicine. That's like the payments, but
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: I don't want to drive on them, right, so I
- 1:10:28Speaker 4: don't know what I'm gonna do.
- 1:10:29Speaker 5: Do you want me to drive you?
- 1:10:30Speaker 6: No?
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: No, I mean no, thanks, Wow, I'm no it's fine. Okay, No,
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: it's not a big deal. I got this. Don't worry
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: because you don't know how to get to South Lake.
- 1:10:41Speaker 5: Of course I go to South Lake all the time.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you do, because you go to the Aesthetic Society.
- 1:10:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:10:46Speaker 6: I go there.
- 1:10:47Speaker 5: I go the Juice Land there. Okay, all right, I
- 1:10:51Speaker 5: know how to get to South Lake.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: Maybe next time I go.
