Shirley Moore: A Life of Service and Legacy | Wilmington News
Shirley Ann Jarman Moore, beloved mother, grandmother, and pillar of Brunswick, North Carolina, passed away at 78 after a lifetime of public service and community leadership. A former Bell South operator and town commissioner, she also led Local 3615 and owned Country Anytime, embodying grit and grace. Celebrations of her life will be held August 6th at Town Hall and her Wilmington home, with a funeral service officiated by Mayor Jason Elleby — honoring a woman whose legacy touched every corner of her town.
