- 0:00Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the locker room. There's a lot
- 0:02Speaker 1: of big games we have in our life, and there's
- 0:03Speaker 1: some games you can legally say what the game is,
- 0:05Speaker 1: and there's other ones you can't. We don't know in
- 0:07Speaker 1: this type of situation. So we're gonna refer to this
- 0:08Speaker 1: one as the big game, the big game, a lot
- 0:12Speaker 1: of big games. This is the biggest game. Philadelphi Eagles
- 0:15Speaker 1: versus the Kansas City Chiefs. Will Compton has done it
- 0:18Speaker 1: to himself again. He has jaced himself. The Chiefs might
- 0:20Speaker 1: be going after a three p but the rue game
- 0:22Speaker 1: in the Philadelphi Eagles. We are breaking down the AFC Championship.
- 0:25Speaker 1: We are breaking down the NFC Championship. Maybe even a
- 0:27Speaker 1: little whiteboard talk. As always, we have Will Compton, we
- 0:29Speaker 1: have the Landy Walker and the Man, the myth, the legend,
- 0:32Speaker 1: the Finger. Brian Baldinger joins us today. It is going
- 0:36Speaker 1: to be a hell of a time. Big hugs, tiny kisses,
- 0:38Speaker 1: Let's have a hell of a show.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Welcome to the locker room. We are presented by Fireball Whiskey.
- 1:04Speaker 2: So many things make football great, but you know what
- 1:06Speaker 2: the best thing is, kicking the living shit out of
- 1:08Speaker 2: your rival. And there's absolutely no better feeling as an
- 1:10Speaker 2: athlete or fan. And fireball Whiskey is here. Give you
- 1:13Speaker 2: the spark to ignite that rivalry all season long. Grab
- 1:16Speaker 2: your football buddy, buy around and reignite that rivalry. Flame
- 1:20Speaker 2: Championship weekend boys, Baldy breakdowns, Welcome to the lockers.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Welcome, good day to be here. There is nothing better.
- 1:30Speaker 1: There's nothing better as a player on a Tuesday or
- 1:32Speaker 1: Wednesday afternoon, getting done with practice, going on to Twitter,
- 1:35Speaker 1: seeing one of your breaths.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Really, let me tell you something about seventy seven here.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Let me tell you what Watch the lad Rock and
- 1:41Speaker 1: anytime you would highlight every week lad was on there week.
- 1:44Speaker 1: If I ever got blessed with a Baldy breakdown, I
- 1:47Speaker 1: would sit down and go home, show.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Yeah on the head. You know what's funny about that him?
- 1:52Speaker 3: You know what that's interesting to me about that we
- 1:54Speaker 3: just said, is like you guys are getting all of
- 1:57Speaker 3: that in your own film room. All the guys know
- 1:59Speaker 3: your teammate told no, some fans might know. Probably not
- 2:02Speaker 3: though nobody's really getting inside the game right to that level.
- 2:06Speaker 3: But you would think that just there's you know, the
- 2:09Speaker 3: organization behind you, Derek Henry going ninety nine behind you.
- 2:13Speaker 3: You would think that would be enough, but sometimes you
- 2:16Speaker 3: just need a little bit more verification, a little bit
- 2:18Speaker 3: of it's a public.
- 2:19Speaker 1: It's a public and because because every every player falls
- 2:23Speaker 1: victims to go going to that search bar, typing their
- 2:26Speaker 1: name in the Twitter and then just getting absolutely assaulted
- 2:28Speaker 1: by either your fans or opponents. And as you sit
- 2:32Speaker 1: there and it's like the whole thing about Office Lineman
- 2:35Speaker 1: is you want to be seen, not heard, right, and
- 2:36Speaker 1: so the only time your name should really be brought
- 2:38Speaker 1: up is when you mess up. So when there's a
- 2:40Speaker 1: guy like you, like, yeah, you go in the film room,
- 2:42Speaker 1: coaches can patch you on the ass a little bit.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Depending on the type of coach, you have to say, hey,
- 2:45Speaker 1: this is a great play right here, and all the
- 2:46Speaker 1: boys are hey, you know, compat a good game, Delny,
- 2:49Speaker 1: he played well. But when a guy like you, who's
- 2:52Speaker 1: been around the game, who has the following and stuff
- 2:54Speaker 1: like that, pulls it up, there is like a level
- 2:56Speaker 1: of like, damn, maybe I am really doing something.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Right that it's amazing. It's the old it's that that
- 3:01Speaker 3: that old belief that you know, all ship runs downhill
- 3:04Speaker 3: right and it just rolls right into the offensive line
- 3:06Speaker 3: lap like we gotta I feel like sometimes you gotta
- 3:08Speaker 3: fight that also defensive lineman too. Dlane like it. I
- 3:11Speaker 3: feel like it all kind of goes into the trenches.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Good or bad. Usually it's bad. Yeah, Yeah, usually is bad.
- 3:18Speaker 2: And you you give a lot of contact with the
- 3:19Speaker 2: player you're talking about to the coach.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Ain't gonna sit there and in front.
- 3:24Speaker 2: They got to keep you when you're doing two and
- 3:27Speaker 2: three a days. You're gonna have a coaches, you know,
- 3:29Speaker 2: it's funny about that from Duke. Look at the physicality
- 3:31Speaker 2: here from Baldy. One day, your name is gonna be
- 3:33Speaker 2: Baldy breakdowns. Guys, everybody watched this guy.
- 3:36Speaker 4: You know.
- 3:36Speaker 3: You know what's funny about that? Though? Will the coaches
- 3:38Speaker 3: come up to me? Like I do games every Sunday
- 3:40Speaker 3: for National Radio, so I'll get some of the assistant coaches,
- 3:43Speaker 3: defensive line coaches, like, hey, I want to let you know,
- 3:46Speaker 3: like the lineback coach from the Chiefs, because I give
- 3:48Speaker 3: those guys so much credit, you know, because they're big
- 3:50Speaker 3: Leo Chanal, Drew Tranquill, Nick Bolton and like literally like
- 3:54Speaker 3: they play three linebackers like more than any other team
- 3:57Speaker 3: in this whole league, Like they can't get them off
- 3:59Speaker 3: the field, And I I just want to let you
- 4:00Speaker 3: know that, you know, Leo really appreciates the things you
- 4:04Speaker 3: say about him, Like people just think he's just a
- 4:06Speaker 3: big meat head out there can't run, but like you
- 4:08Speaker 3: kind of highlight some of the things he can do. Yeah,
- 4:11Speaker 3: they want you to do it.
- 4:11Speaker 2: They want you to be the one to vocalize the
- 4:13Speaker 2: Kings City Chiefs defense because.
- 4:15Speaker 3: They're not going to have They're not going to go
- 4:17Speaker 3: out publicly. No, definitely would they.
- 4:19Speaker 1: I mean, Kassy's defense has been keeping him in games
- 4:23Speaker 1: sixtewo years ago, sixteen and oh in one score game
- 4:26Speaker 1: has a lot to do with the defense, but everyone
- 4:27Speaker 1: wants to talk about Pax Mahomes, right, So you need
- 4:29Speaker 1: a crusader like yourself there to pave the way defense.
- 4:33Speaker 3: I take it the game we want to start with
- 4:35Speaker 3: Chiefs do that that game.
- 4:37Speaker 1: That game was the most interesting to me. So I
- 4:39Speaker 1: kind of want to like just let's get the NFC
- 4:41Speaker 1: out of the way.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Let's let's get it out of the way.
- 4:44Speaker 5: Like people start to finish with Super Bowl already.
- 4:48Speaker 3: That was because you can see.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Josh Allen, you get to see Patrick Bills and everybody
- 4:53Speaker 2: going into that game.
- 4:54Speaker 1: For Super Bowl of all time, everybody going into that
- 4:56Speaker 1: game is like, the winner of this AFC Championship is
- 4:58Speaker 1: probably going to win win a Super Bowl. And then
- 5:00Speaker 1: you watch the NFC NFC Championship game, and if you
- 5:03Speaker 1: don't know that, the Commanders their back, you know their
- 5:06Speaker 1: last in the U in all the statistic categories of defense,
- 5:09Speaker 1: being in the in the in the Russian category. It's like, yo,
- 5:12Speaker 1: the Eagles might have a chance. But then you have
- 5:14Speaker 1: Spags on the other side that you're like, yo, this
- 5:16Speaker 1: guy's going to put up the perfect game plan to
- 5:18Speaker 1: eliminate the run game and have Hurts beat you and
- 5:20Speaker 1: beat you with his arm.
- 5:21Speaker 3: So yeah, let's go.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Let's go NFC Championship First, Obviously Commanders fell.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I look there. To me, they were
- 5:29Speaker 2: playing with house with house money. They were playing like
- 5:32Speaker 2: they've made it far. They exceeded expectations this year. You
- 5:35Speaker 2: look at when they upset the Detroit Lions in Detroit,
- 5:38Speaker 2: everybody's like, everybody's fired up for them. Oh, could they
- 5:41Speaker 2: muster up some magic and beat the Eagles. But that
- 5:43Speaker 2: game went when they gave up over from fifty points
- 5:45Speaker 2: a fifty burger to Philly, it's kind of like, yeah,
- 5:47Speaker 2: their luck kind of just ran out. You would have
- 5:50Speaker 2: appreciated seeing the Detroit Lions team a little bit more
- 5:52Speaker 2: in the NFC Championship because.
- 5:53Speaker 4: They're overall better roster and a better outfit.
- 5:56Speaker 2: It's like, you know, you're bummed, you're bummed at the
- 5:59Speaker 2: washingtondn't pull up an upset, but at the end of
- 6:00Speaker 2: the day, it's like they were they were already exceeding expectations.
- 6:04Speaker 4: Like, yeah, it sucks, but they so much optimism.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Those feel like you know when you get to each level.
- 6:10Speaker 3: You go up in the playoffs, now you're at the
- 6:11Speaker 3: championship level, before you're at the divisional level, right, Like
- 6:15Speaker 3: the Choice defense got exposed big time, right, Yeah, Now,
- 6:18Speaker 3: it didn't help that the offense turned over five times
- 6:21Speaker 3: and they constantly got in the field position in a touchdown.
- 6:23Speaker 3: But like, so you go up to the championship level
- 6:26Speaker 3: and you just realize the Eagles defense is just that good.
- 6:29Speaker 3: You can look at all the stats and say they're good,
- 6:31Speaker 3: but then you watch them play. Zach Bond doesn't miss
- 6:34Speaker 3: a tackle, doesn't is not.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Only doesn't miss a tackle, he trust his instincts, like
- 6:38Speaker 2: just watching him as a second level player and watching
- 6:41Speaker 2: him pull his trigger and not stop his feet going
- 6:44Speaker 2: into the backfield. To make plays your full your trust
- 6:48Speaker 2: has to be at a different But what.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Will is like so Zach Bond's in New Orleans for
- 6:53Speaker 3: four years, they can't really figure out how to play.
- 6:55Speaker 3: They got the Mario Davis, they've got Warner, they got
- 6:57Speaker 3: different guys, but he's just sitting there as like a
- 7:00Speaker 3: reserve special teams got and for whatever reason, Eagles say,
- 7:03Speaker 3: let's give this guy a shot. Like all these Wisconsin
- 7:06Speaker 3: linebackers can flat out play, all of them right, and
- 7:09Speaker 3: they all been trained the right way, trained inside outside,
- 7:12Speaker 3: you go through the whole league, they're all good players.
- 7:14Speaker 3: This kid from day one in Philly fixed that position.
- 7:18Speaker 3: It's unbelievable. Pro bowler. He make the All Pro Yeah
- 7:21Speaker 3: pro Yeah, remember Chris Borland. Yeah yeah, there we go. Yeah,
- 7:30Speaker 3: I mean he had head issues.
- 7:31Speaker 5: I mean nothing you can do about that when you've
- 7:33Speaker 5: got concussions constantly occurring.
- 7:35Speaker 1: And yeah, there's no there's no doubt that.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Would have been would have been her Big T J.
- 7:41Speaker 5: Watt.
- 7:42Speaker 3: You just go through all these guys.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, so the and then the two exciting whites too.
- 7:47Speaker 3: I mean a baller, Ryan Blankenship is Gene is a
- 7:53Speaker 3: ball Mitchell.
- 7:57Speaker 1: It's one of those things where you turn on the
- 7:58Speaker 1: film with the Philadelphi Eagles and at the end of
- 8:00Speaker 1: every play, the opponent's offensive play, you see ten or
- 8:03Speaker 1: eleven guys in the script like they are always they're
- 8:06Speaker 1: running to the ball. They're destroying people at their defensive
- 8:09Speaker 1: line as elite who's Jalen Carter his ability to put
- 8:13Speaker 1: pressure in the middle of the offensive line and bring
- 8:16Speaker 1: pressure up to the quarterback. There's no way to step
- 8:18Speaker 1: into your throat. So these guys in the edges are
- 8:20Speaker 1: able just to run the hoop every single time, catch
- 8:22Speaker 1: that quarterback in nine and a half, ten eleven yards,
- 8:25Speaker 1: and it is just it's a ticking time bomb.
- 8:27Speaker 3: Basically. They have like this is the most unbelievable stat
- 8:30Speaker 3: for their three game run so far to the Super
- 8:32Speaker 3: Bowl is they've got ten takeaways they haven't turned on.
- 8:35Speaker 3: There are plus ten in their turnover ratio in three games.
- 8:39Speaker 3: It's crazy, Like they're just punching the ball out two
- 8:42Speaker 3: weeks in a row. I mean, everybody practice it, Like
- 8:44Speaker 3: I know everybody team practice it, They preach it, they
- 8:47Speaker 3: talk about it. But like you just watch yes exact
- 8:49Speaker 3: Bond punch it out. You're watching Orrin Burks punching it out.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Same thing last week. Jalen Carter to you know, to
- 8:56Speaker 3: Kyrien Williams with the Rams.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Do you think there's any thing the Commanders could have
- 9:01Speaker 1: done to win that game?
- 9:04Speaker 3: You just can't turn the ball over.
- 9:05Speaker 1: The four turnovers stop because they can't step the run.
- 9:10Speaker 1: So it's like, okay, if you know the Commanders can't
- 9:12Speaker 1: step the run, they're going to do that the entire game.
- 9:14Speaker 1: They have Austin Eckler, he catches the ball, touches.
- 9:17Speaker 3: They had a bad matchups, they went out, they went
- 9:20Speaker 3: and got Lattimore and Mark Seawan has been a good
- 9:22Speaker 3: player for a long time, but he's not the same
- 9:23Speaker 3: guy that he once was. When he's making Pro Bowls.
- 9:26Speaker 3: In normals, he tries to match up with a J.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Brown and Camp and you can't be making dumb mistakes to.
- 9:32Speaker 5: A J.
- 9:33Speaker 3: Brown.
- 9:33Speaker 1: I mean that was a master class of chess of
- 9:36Speaker 1: just being able to bait him. Gave his head all
- 9:38Speaker 1: of a sudden. He's he gives him a big push,
- 9:40Speaker 1: hands go up, flag goes the other way.
- 9:41Speaker 3: I thought the big thing was the question. I live
- 9:44Speaker 3: in Philly, so I hear this. You know, it's NonStop
- 9:46Speaker 3: right now. You know, Jayleen can't read the defense. Jailen
- 9:48Speaker 3: can't do this like it's just noise to him. He's
- 9:50Speaker 3: actually pretty good about blocking it all out. But you know,
- 9:54Speaker 3: he had a great day yesterday. The great day doesn't
- 9:56Speaker 3: turn the ball over. He does not put the ball
- 9:58Speaker 3: in harm's way. Well not well, throw the ball in
- 10:00Speaker 3: the middle into some zone coverage right now. He got
- 10:03Speaker 3: burned earlier. New Year won't do it. So he'll take
- 10:05Speaker 3: the SAT, he'll throw it away. But his decision making
- 10:09Speaker 3: is And then yesterday aj went off, you know, like
- 10:11Speaker 3: they couldn't stop him.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Yes, well you put you put guy one on one
- 10:14Speaker 1: with a single high safety and a guy's pressed on
- 10:16Speaker 1: a Browns Like, yeah, I'm gonna throw it up to
- 10:18Speaker 1: a j.
- 10:20Speaker 3: You rememberality what didn't what? You know? Like, I'm just
- 10:24Speaker 3: gonna ask you because like Rabel said, I've never traded him. Remember,
- 10:27Speaker 3: I'm never trading this guy. But I think he's even
- 10:32Speaker 3: better now. I think he's even like because I think
- 10:35Speaker 3: he's even stronger than he used to be, and he's
- 10:38Speaker 3: just as explosive as he's ever been.
- 10:40Speaker 1: He's he's in his stature alone. Is the way he
- 10:44Speaker 1: looks say it looks like Jane, he looks like plays like.
- 10:50Speaker 1: I mean, it goes back to the first place I
- 10:51Speaker 1: kind of drew up. We don't have to go into it.
- 10:53Speaker 3: But it is nineteen truck.
- 10:54Speaker 1: It's a pin pole scheme, and the number one block
- 10:57Speaker 1: on that is the pointment that's Aj. Usually you're gonna
- 10:59Speaker 1: put your why in that position to block down on
- 11:02Speaker 1: a defensive end. That's how that's how much trust they
- 11:04Speaker 1: have on a J two block. Knowing Aj Aj is
- 11:07Speaker 1: like an edge rusher. He wants sacks, and he's.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Blocking Dante Yeah, and Foul spins and he stands in
- 11:15Speaker 3: front of hips, his feet keeps his and if everything
- 11:20Speaker 3: else just gets washed and.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Gets washed, he squin has to go back into the middle.
- 11:24Speaker 1: And then you can't get to the alley because Dante
- 11:26Speaker 1: Fowler spins out of that and Aj is able to
- 11:29Speaker 1: use his hips and his feet and drive him at
- 11:31Speaker 1: a forty five yure angle. That's why Bobby Wagner gets
- 11:33Speaker 1: caught up in the fray because that's a four they
- 11:35Speaker 1: win that play. Later it's a four or five yard player.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Wagner and Luvu don't get caught up all the mess.
- 11:40Speaker 1: He's able to do that, Like that's such a key
- 11:43Speaker 1: block that no one's really going to talk about, but
- 11:45Speaker 1: that says a lot about agent because he is. And
- 11:47Speaker 1: then you know, a quarter later he hits a go ball,
- 11:49Speaker 1: catches a nice little thirty yard or then he gets
- 11:52Speaker 1: touch still touchdown, and then he's baiting guys into It's
- 11:56Speaker 1: like that, Like I don't know exactly what a J.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Brown stats were, but there, whatever stats were, he played
- 12:01Speaker 1: better than a stats show.
- 12:02Speaker 3: Yeah he had like six catches six Yeah.
- 12:05Speaker 1: He had a one hundred and fifties. He played like
- 12:07Speaker 1: he had one hundred.
- 12:08Speaker 3: But even when he's reading a book on the sideline,
- 12:10Speaker 3: which is hilarious, which isliious. I mean, I've never seen it.
- 12:14Speaker 3: I don't know, will you guys anything like that, But
- 12:17Speaker 3: even when he's reading the book on the sideline, the
- 12:19Speaker 3: guys still making unbelievable blocks, Like he's not getting the ball,
- 12:22Speaker 3: they're not throwing to him, but he's still blocking his asshole. Yeah,
- 12:25Speaker 3: that was That was the first time I've ever seen
- 12:29Speaker 3: that first time.
- 12:30Speaker 6: Ever, But you ever brought a prop to the to
- 12:33Speaker 6: a game before the drop, Like during Halloween, you were
- 12:38Speaker 6: like Halloween mass Yeah, yeah, Halloween massuf.
- 12:41Speaker 3: But I don't know if be like pulling his book
- 12:45Speaker 3: out just.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Sitting right there and then just casually because no one
- 12:48Speaker 2: that the cameras on, cameras on, no one, the cameras
- 12:52Speaker 2: are on.
- 12:52Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, but good for him, because there's going
- 12:55Speaker 1: to be something about that. I mean, the production of
- 12:58Speaker 1: the show is inner excellence. And then they're going this
- 13:01Speaker 1: whole spinoff of.
- 13:03Speaker 3: The funny thing. The page that he's got, it's all highlighted.
- 13:06Speaker 3: He's got the highlighted pen out there, it's all highlighted.
- 13:09Speaker 1: They sure and get back to this way back to
- 13:11Speaker 1: the house to see.
- 13:11Speaker 3: If the ball game is why the reader they brought
- 13:17Speaker 3: up Rabel.
- 13:18Speaker 1: I think when we go to media days and think
- 13:19Speaker 1: A good question for aj Well when they sit at
- 13:21Speaker 1: the booth is do you credit your success to John
- 13:24Speaker 1: Robinson for trading you?
- 13:26Speaker 3: Did you ask him? Now?
- 13:27Speaker 1: No, I think we should ask. I mean that trade
- 13:31Speaker 1: trailing Brooks they take, they trade for the eighteenth pick,
- 13:34Speaker 1: they give a J. Brown, they take trailing Brooks eighteen overall,
- 13:38Speaker 1: and no disrespect to Trailer. He's got all the tools
- 13:41Speaker 1: and everything. I'm not sure he's had a couple of
- 13:42Speaker 1: injuries stuff like that. But the reality is is he
- 13:44Speaker 1: and I have the same amount of touchdowns in the NFL, right,
- 13:46Speaker 1: and so that's tough.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Well. He The thing that's interesting about that moment in
- 13:50Speaker 3: time is this is where the Eagles are just better
- 13:53Speaker 3: than everybody else. They make the trade, they do the compensation,
- 13:56Speaker 3: and they give him a contract all in like literally
- 13:58Speaker 3: the same moment. One fail like the Tennessee couldn't figure
- 14:01Speaker 3: out how to give him the extension. That's all he wanted,
- 14:04Speaker 3: right like the old players. So they get to trade,
- 14:06Speaker 3: the compensation and the contract done all at once, which
- 14:09Speaker 3: is wild.
- 14:10Speaker 1: They can't figure can't figure out the compensation on the
- 14:12Speaker 1: Titans end, because yeah, you pay a quarterback, yeah, but
- 14:15Speaker 1: you're not paying the quarterback had one hundred million dollar contract,
- 14:17Speaker 1: not a three hundred million dollar cord. Like you could
- 14:20Speaker 1: move a whole bunch of stuff on. I know if
- 14:21Speaker 1: they called me and hey, Taylor, can we just front
- 14:23Speaker 1: pay a minimum?
- 14:25Speaker 3: Hell yeah? Yeah? Though, like he just got low balled
- 14:29Speaker 3: at first and took it personal. He took a person
- 14:32Speaker 3: person he didn't want to be here. That's just behind it.
- 14:35Speaker 3: But the other thing is all these other receivers are
- 14:37Speaker 3: getting paid. So he's like, you know, I mean, it's
- 14:40Speaker 3: just it's really you just fall in line. Like they
- 14:42Speaker 3: all got paid, all of them. So AJ is like, okay,
- 14:45Speaker 3: what about my back?
- 14:46Speaker 5: Yeah, well, I think they looked at Derek Harry as
- 14:48Speaker 5: the horse, so the horse, but.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Still didn't pay him very much.
- 14:52Speaker 3: They did it.
- 14:53Speaker 1: The shitty thing for for Derek is he got caught
- 14:55Speaker 1: up in that running backs are dead, that little that.
- 15:00Speaker 3: I think it's over.
- 15:01Speaker 2: I mean, you see the market, the Marcus Hope, he
- 15:03Speaker 2: takes a jump because these teams are going to everyone,
- 15:06Speaker 2: the whole call everyone, Aaron Jones, you.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Know, Josh Jacobs, Henry like all those guys went somewhere
- 15:13Speaker 1: else and have had massive success.
- 15:15Speaker 3: And we've seem like the comeback of the run game
- 15:18Speaker 3: like all these teams. I mean, I know, Kansas City
- 15:20Speaker 3: still comes out of the tunnel throwing it, but Eagles
- 15:22Speaker 3: ran a fifty seven percent of the time, like you know,
- 15:24Speaker 3: you got sake one. It helps, you know, but still
- 15:26Speaker 3: like Baltimore Detroit, all these teams are running it far
- 15:30Speaker 3: more than they were throwing it.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Were you guys surprised that uh Washington didn't go for
- 15:37Speaker 2: it on that opening drive on fourth down?
- 15:39Speaker 5: Yeah, if you win twice already, why are you just
- 15:43Speaker 5: still go for the last one just to get it.
- 15:45Speaker 1: It seems like they were caught and like, Okay, we're
- 15:47Speaker 1: gonna be gutsy, we're gonna be ballsy, which they've They've
- 15:50Speaker 1: gone from fourth down more than neither two in the NFL.
- 15:52Speaker 3: They do it two times in one drive.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know if they think for themselves, like
- 15:55Speaker 1: dan Quinn's like, all right, our looks probably ran out here,
- 15:58Speaker 1: Let's take the points. We're in a good we're in
- 15:59Speaker 1: a favorite.
- 16:00Speaker 2: He's probably thinking, too, Will be able to do this
- 16:02Speaker 2: all game, like if she was gonna win that game,
- 16:03Speaker 2: they're gonna have to do it kind of the way
- 16:05Speaker 2: they beat the Lions, like kind of stay up in
- 16:07Speaker 2: points and everything else, because their defense clearly going to
- 16:10Speaker 2: be able to stop the Eagles.
- 16:11Speaker 3: Well, I think that's the point, Will is. If you
- 16:13Speaker 3: hand it off to Saquon on the play that you're
- 16:16Speaker 3: talking about behind us for sixty yards in the first
- 16:18Speaker 3: player like this might be a long day. We better
- 16:20Speaker 3: score touchdowns. Field goals aren't gonna get it done, right. Yeah.
- 16:23Speaker 1: So you're saying that the Eagles had the first drive
- 16:24Speaker 1: as opposed to the Commanders, right yeah, probably Yeah, where
- 16:28Speaker 1: you see him start to panic around the third or
- 16:29Speaker 1: fourth drive that they had. They go three and out
- 16:31Speaker 1: and you're like, man, this is about to get out
- 16:33Speaker 1: of hand, and they run the fake punt.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Crazy.
- 16:39Speaker 1: I look at my phone, I hear something scream.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Oh oh ship okays Away is one of those cats.
- 16:46Speaker 2: He's a paunter, but he's the most athletic guy in
- 16:49Speaker 2: the break throw when you're when you're playing, when you're playing,
- 16:54Speaker 2: when you're playing well football.
- 16:55Speaker 3: He's the best ping pong player the Chargers. No, that's
- 16:58Speaker 3: Dustin Hopkins.
- 16:59Speaker 4: No, no, no, no.
- 17:00Speaker 1: But there was a guy I thought he was at
- 17:03Speaker 1: the Charges when we went there for their training camp.
- 17:05Speaker 1: You were like, I play with this guy at the Redskins.
- 17:07Speaker 1: He was He's good at everything.
- 17:08Speaker 3: That's that's Hopkins. But he was he was second. He
- 17:11Speaker 3: was like he was underneath Tressway. Trustway is a dog.
- 17:14Speaker 2: His wife was an All American softball player at the
- 17:17Speaker 2: University of Oklahoma.
- 17:18Speaker 3: They have brothers.
- 17:19Speaker 2: I'm talking pictures they got like Trestway's got it when
- 17:22Speaker 2: he made that play, there's there's He's not even worried
- 17:25Speaker 2: about that throw like that was. He's probably grinning when
- 17:28Speaker 2: he's throwing the ball. He's such an athlete, I'm telling you, bro,
- 17:32Speaker 2: he's athletic. Talking about a punter right now.
- 17:42Speaker 3: He was going to make that almost couldn't wait to
- 17:44Speaker 3: throw it, kind of carry out a little bit of
- 17:47Speaker 3: your punt action. He was like, I got this.
- 17:49Speaker 4: You know every weekend, the specially coaches asking and you
- 17:52Speaker 4: think you would be good.
- 17:53Speaker 3: He's just like dog, just a perfect just a perfect
- 17:59Speaker 3: high pass. Nice way you want it. Yeah. The thing
- 18:02Speaker 3: that's funny about that play is psychotic. Huh, it's psychotic
- 18:07Speaker 3: what it is?
- 18:09Speaker 5: They did not know it was coming a little.
- 18:16Speaker 3: As soon as he went by him, he knew like
- 18:18Speaker 3: he started looking back, he start looking for the ball
- 18:21Speaker 3: as soon as he beat them, was like.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Bing based off Will everything Will said that that backup
- 18:26Speaker 1: tight end was shitting himself, sling this motherfucker out here.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Nothing but they make noise with this, yeah, going going.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Just the commanders, amazing year for them, the turn around,
- 18:36Speaker 1: the fat we've talked about the show a couple of times.
- 18:38Speaker 1: But all this stuff with the head office, the owner,
- 18:40Speaker 1: they end up selling the team and go in and
- 18:43Speaker 1: make it to the NFC Championship. Like they were playing
- 18:45Speaker 1: with house money. They didn't have the defense he had
- 18:47Speaker 1: done this year.
- 18:47Speaker 3: But they got they got the quarterback. Like you get
- 18:49Speaker 3: the quarterback there's only there's never even when this was
- 18:52Speaker 3: a twelve team league, there wasn't enough good quarterbacks, right,
- 18:55Speaker 3: and so like they got the quarterback and like he
- 18:58Speaker 3: fixes everything the run game. You get a backup right
- 19:01Speaker 3: guard in there, you know, like it doesn't matter, like
- 19:03Speaker 3: they had a Brookie left tackle this year. If there's
- 19:05Speaker 3: breakdowns to protection, he covers for him. If it's fourth down,
- 19:08Speaker 3: he runs for it, extends it. Like you see, McCarry
- 19:11Speaker 3: has been in this league for six years. He's never
- 19:13Speaker 3: had a year like this. Never like he set a
- 19:15Speaker 3: record for touchdowns by commander. Yeah, yeah, I saw something
- 19:19Speaker 3: on Instagram and I have to work through this.
- 19:22Speaker 1: But like all these mobile quarterbacks now are able to
- 19:25Speaker 1: run because of that Cam Newton Tim Tebow era where
- 19:29Speaker 1: it was like not everyone was still so used to
- 19:32Speaker 1: the Tom Brady Peyton manning up the statute quarterback. And
- 19:34Speaker 1: these guys come in like Tim Tebow obviously didn't work
- 19:36Speaker 1: out in the NFL, but he had Johnny Manziel as well,
- 19:39Speaker 1: like that kind of era of like hey, let's get
- 19:41Speaker 1: Andrew Luck.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Get these guys. They can show a little mobility, they
- 19:44Speaker 3: can do a little bit more than just.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Throwing the football. Now you're seeing all like these Jaden
- 19:48Speaker 1: Daniels Lamars, the Patrick mahomes Is, the Josh Allens, like
- 19:51Speaker 1: they are. They lean a lot on their offense, on
- 19:53Speaker 1: their legs as opposed to just their arm.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Well, the NFL can only take what the college game
- 19:58Speaker 3: gives you, So the college games give you these guys.
- 20:00Speaker 3: They're not giving you Tom Brady anymore, like that guy
- 20:03Speaker 3: who's in college. They're putting their best athletes at quarterback.
- 20:06Speaker 3: So that's one thing, and then the other thing is
- 20:09Speaker 3: just talking to guys around the league because of these
- 20:11Speaker 3: guys are just so lethal as soon as they break
- 20:13Speaker 3: the pocket, Like it's changed the way you rush the passer.
- 20:16Speaker 3: I think you're getting a lot more cage rushing now,
- 20:19Speaker 3: Like you watch Chris Jones rush like he could probably
- 20:21Speaker 3: win on the edge a lot more than But like
- 20:24Speaker 3: they're content Jalen Carter. These guys are content right now,
- 20:27Speaker 3: Delaney to like literally walk their man and try and
- 20:30Speaker 3: keep that guy in the pocket and contain rush rather
- 20:34Speaker 3: than the quick swims or the quick escapes. You know
- 20:37Speaker 3: sometimes you know, you get the stunts that are working,
- 20:39Speaker 3: you know, to get the guys there. But I think
- 20:43Speaker 3: we're seeing a difference in the way a defensive linement
- 20:46Speaker 3: a rushing. Yeah.
- 20:47Speaker 1: And I think it's a good transition to go to
- 20:49Speaker 1: the AFC Championship game because a lot of these bigger plays.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Patrick Mahomes in one or two reads and he sees
- 20:55Speaker 1: big holes and the AB or C gap kind of
- 20:57Speaker 1: wiggled his way through there will get big chunk plays.
- 20:59Speaker 3: Out of that.
- 21:00Speaker 1: We all know that Patrick Mahomes can be a little
- 21:03Speaker 1: bit lethal with the ball in his hands running it.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Why aren't teams cage rushing similarly they do the Baltimore
- 21:10Speaker 1: Ravens or the Well.
- 21:11Speaker 3: What's interesting yesterday, Taylor is that in the first game
- 21:15Speaker 3: that they won, they spied Mahomes and in that game
- 21:18Speaker 3: he didn't have one run like they spied him Dorian Williams,
- 21:21Speaker 3: Terrel Bernard yesterday didn't find him at all, and as
- 21:24Speaker 3: soon as he knows you don't have a guy that
- 21:26Speaker 3: can chase them, like he takes off with it when
- 21:28Speaker 3: he sees it. And he got all those first downs
- 21:30Speaker 3: and to you know, two rushing touchdowns, two rushing touchdowns.
- 21:33Speaker 1: And also, like you bring up like every team runs
- 21:37Speaker 1: the ball a whole lot except for the Chiefs. That
- 21:39Speaker 1: the Chiefs are using their short pass game as their
- 21:41Speaker 1: run down. As they're running, they just.
- 21:43Speaker 3: Basic West Coast offense. And Kareem Hunt does a hell
- 21:46Speaker 3: of a job. Hell of a job.
- 21:47Speaker 1: But even in the in the middle of that game,
- 21:50Speaker 1: quarter third and even in the fourth, like Kareem Hunt,
- 21:53Speaker 1: he started get stopped a little bit. Pa Checko was
- 21:55Speaker 1: kind of not even around that game until those last
- 21:58Speaker 1: couple of plays in the four minutes. Like a lot
- 22:00Speaker 1: of those chunks that were taken out aside from that
- 22:03Speaker 1: first quarter in the second half of the second quarter
- 22:06Speaker 1: was Mahomes getting out of the pocket, running, making it
- 22:09Speaker 1: dancing a little bit and getting the two rushing touchdowns.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Did you think like the Bills in that third quarter,
- 22:13Speaker 3: they just started running the ball, like right down the field,
- 22:17Speaker 3: the ran one throw, one throw right eight runs the
- 22:20Speaker 3: and they ran for the touchdown. Did you think like
- 22:21Speaker 3: they were taking over the game at that point. At
- 22:24Speaker 3: that point I did, I did.
- 22:25Speaker 1: I think, Yeah, you start to impose your will the
- 22:27Speaker 1: way they did, I thought. And it wasn't like exotic
- 22:30Speaker 1: type of nuns.
- 22:31Speaker 3: It was zone, it was mid zone.
- 22:33Speaker 1: It hand the ball off. There was nothing creative about it.
- 22:36Speaker 1: They were just taking their physicality against the young physicality
- 22:39Speaker 1: and they were handling business.
- 22:40Speaker 2: That drive that they had almost tells you that they
- 22:44Speaker 2: should have started off like they did such a good
- 22:46Speaker 2: job throughout the year. It's like last week when they
- 22:48Speaker 2: played Baltimore, Josh Allen went threw for like one eighty
- 22:51Speaker 2: and they were great on the ground. If that's such
- 22:53Speaker 2: a good bounce attack all year long. They come out
- 22:55Speaker 2: those first two drives and Josh are trying to sling
- 22:57Speaker 2: it and you can tell whether it's nerves moment, he's
- 23:00Speaker 2: having some lackluss, he's fumbling this snap. But if you're
- 23:04Speaker 2: running the football the way that the Buffalo could run
- 23:07Speaker 2: the football this year with Joe Brady's the OC like
- 23:09Speaker 2: you can tell on that third quarter drive they got
- 23:12Speaker 2: away from that in the first quarter. They should have
- 23:14Speaker 2: probably established it in the beginning of the game, like
- 23:16Speaker 2: they've kind of done.
- 23:17Speaker 3: All very long.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Their first two drives are the same way. They ran
- 23:20Speaker 1: it on first down they got three four yards. The
- 23:22Speaker 1: second drive they ran on first down and got three
- 23:24Speaker 1: four yards. Then they threw it two separate times after that.
- 23:27Speaker 1: But you could see you could see the pressure mounting
- 23:29Speaker 1: in Josh Allen's head those first couple of drives and
- 23:31Speaker 1: didn't allow him to settle down. They're trying to take
- 23:33Speaker 1: chunk plays. Yeah, and I know, like Joe, I like,
- 23:37Speaker 1: I'm excited to see if the Chiefs can do a
- 23:39Speaker 1: three p I'm gutted for the Buffalo Bills. I want
- 23:41Speaker 1: it for the Bills. I want it for Josh Allen.
- 23:43Speaker 3: He's been on the base. He's an awesome cat. He's
- 23:46Speaker 3: like a dude's dude type of dude the man.
- 23:48Speaker 1: I really just want him to get over this hump
- 23:50Speaker 1: because I think they could really get it done if
- 23:51Speaker 1: they can just get past the Chiefs. But you can
- 23:53Speaker 1: see it that he's wearing all that pressure, all that
- 23:55Speaker 1: weight on his shoulders. Like the whole week leading up,
- 23:58Speaker 1: the mainstream media US we're like, hey, who has more pressure, Chiefs,
- 24:01Speaker 1: the three people or the Bills to beat the chiefs
- 24:03Speaker 1: and everyone's kind of leaning going, Hey, bills versus the chiefs.
- 24:06Speaker 1: That's that's the thing.
- 24:07Speaker 3: And you see it in his face.
- 24:08Speaker 1: So if you were able to just get a couple
- 24:09Speaker 1: of throws out, even if it's like a bubble scree
- 24:11Speaker 1: at the ball at your hand, how does it feel
- 24:13Speaker 1: slinging a little bit?
- 24:14Speaker 3: And they got that. They were really they got stuffed
- 24:17Speaker 3: on that one fourth and one. It just killed them. Yeah, yeah,
- 24:21Speaker 3: the one that was controversial, Yeah that was a first down.
- 24:26Speaker 3: But so that was the first So it's weird. Will
- 24:28Speaker 3: So a couple of years ago, I remember we were
- 24:30Speaker 3: having a seminar back when the Eagles first started the
- 24:33Speaker 3: whole you know, tush push thing right, So should they
- 24:36Speaker 3: outlaw it? Should they keep it right? So they said, well,
- 24:39Speaker 3: I asked the official, like Mike Prayer, I said, you know,
- 24:43Speaker 3: how do you officiate this play? Because it seemed like
- 24:45Speaker 3: the whistle never blows And they said, like on that
- 24:48Speaker 3: play he started going sideways. They said, as soon as
- 24:50Speaker 3: they start going sideways and you're not going forward, the
- 24:53Speaker 3: whistle should blow. They should stop the momentum. And so
- 24:56Speaker 3: he did start because he he kind of went through
- 24:58Speaker 3: the left guard hole there kind of moved it and
- 25:00Speaker 3: then he started getting pushed Chris Jones. The guys started
- 25:03Speaker 3: pushing them. But I don't know, like, I don't know
- 25:05Speaker 3: how to I don't know how they get that play right.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Sometimes with the Buffalo Bills, they suck at running that.
- 25:14Speaker 1: The Chiefs looked at him and Spags goes, hey, every
- 25:17Speaker 1: single time he's gonna take the snap, he's gonna take
- 25:19Speaker 1: a shuffle to the left, and he's.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Gonna go up the middle. But either way.
- 25:21Speaker 1: But the defense, the defense has, you know, the majority
- 25:24Speaker 1: of their guys gapping out A, B and C on
- 25:27Speaker 1: the left side. It's like they knew what he was
- 25:29Speaker 1: going to do.
- 25:29Speaker 3: But the Eagles get like.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Blocks are different.
- 25:38Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. The Bills suck at running it.
- 25:40Speaker 2: They have their one running back back there to push him.
- 25:42Speaker 2: He doesn't even really push them. Josh just tries like
- 25:44Speaker 2: going to the left and do it in himself.
- 25:47Speaker 3: He got like three guys behind Victory dull like the
- 25:54Speaker 3: Bills almost the one time Josh went up and over
- 25:59Speaker 3: and he can fumble. That's why you don't go up
- 26:01Speaker 3: and over like I don't even know if he got
- 26:03Speaker 3: it backward out the ball was out getting the ball
- 26:05Speaker 3: back on that one.
- 26:07Speaker 4: But you guys don't think so you're saying he got
- 26:09Speaker 4: You're saying it wasn't a first down.
- 26:10Speaker 1: I'm saying that that call could have gone either way.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Whatever it was called in the field, it should have
- 26:15Speaker 1: it should have stood. They called it as it was turnover.
- 26:18Speaker 3: Did you not see those referees running like.
- 26:23Speaker 4: And then they go backwards a little bit, get out
- 26:25Speaker 4: of the way.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Sideways once he got pushed.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Saying one guy was saying it was the first running.
- 26:33Speaker 3: There's no question, like they came in opposite. Yeah, they
- 26:37Speaker 3: was on the line.
- 26:38Speaker 1: The other one was inside the line. The one that
- 26:40Speaker 1: was on the line over one that would have given
- 26:41Speaker 1: the first down. Chiefs player in the way, he has
- 26:44Speaker 1: to move around that and when he re establishes his walk,
- 26:47Speaker 1: he's in a complete different spot.
- 26:48Speaker 3: I get it.
- 26:49Speaker 1: I understand that.
- 26:50Speaker 2: But but I'm just saying that I think the entire
- 26:53Speaker 2: year of the Chiefs, this team could get away with murder.
- 26:55Speaker 1: That's referee, That's where That's where I'm sitting back on.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Let's let's pump the brakes, because I agree the entire
- 27:01Speaker 1: year the Chiefs have had calls go their way one
- 27:05Speaker 1: hundred times, every like every single time chefs this game.
- 27:11Speaker 1: If I were to say, hey, you're gonna be one
- 27:15Speaker 1: like U one for five on third down on short
- 27:19Speaker 1: yards third down, you're gonna go You're gonna go h
- 27:21Speaker 1: for two and two point conversions. You're gonna have your
- 27:24Speaker 1: first drive is gonna be you could have thrown two
- 27:26Speaker 1: picks in three plays, and the Chiefs had the most
- 27:28Speaker 1: razor sharp first drive I've ever seen. If I were
- 27:31Speaker 1: to tell you that without giving you context, which team
- 27:33Speaker 1: is going to win the team that has a razor
- 27:35Speaker 1: sharp first drive. I mean, it's not like the Bills
- 27:37Speaker 1: were just like having massive chunk plays and then they
- 27:40Speaker 1: were getting called back or they would.
- 27:42Speaker 3: That at all. But you you murder a drive because
- 27:45Speaker 3: that is a pivotal point in the game.
- 27:46Speaker 1: The pivot point of the game, and that are in
- 27:49Speaker 1: a pivot point of the game. When Josh Allen has
- 27:51Speaker 1: that incredible throw I can't remember the receiver's name, he
- 27:54Speaker 1: makes a great catch and the flag comes out, my
- 27:57Speaker 1: first thought was here we go chief stuff. That call
- 27:59Speaker 1: was on the Chiefs defense, and so it's like it
- 28:03Speaker 1: seemed like they were calling it equal, if not over
- 28:07Speaker 1: correcting a little bit against the Chiefs, like we kind
- 28:09Speaker 1: of talked about before.
- 28:10Speaker 3: That's what the one stat that stills out there, Tayler.
- 28:13Speaker 3: I think it's it's it's correct too. In the three
- 28:15Speaker 3: Super Bowl wins the Chiefs have, they don't have one
- 28:17Speaker 3: holding call. They don't have one holding call by any
- 28:20Speaker 3: offensive line.
- 28:21Speaker 1: They had a bunch that against the lost the Tampa
- 28:23Speaker 1: Bay and then the one against the Eagles, where was
- 28:26Speaker 1: ticky tech And it's again, by the book, it's a
- 28:28Speaker 1: cret call.
- 28:28Speaker 3: But that little hole, that little ground.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Was Yeah, when they kind of got them a couple
- 28:34Speaker 2: of years ago, that was extremely controversial, like it was
- 28:36Speaker 2: a ticky tack call.
- 28:37Speaker 4: But also it's like, yeah, if you go buy the
- 28:39Speaker 4: buy the book, that technically is a penal.
- 28:43Speaker 3: It blows my mind.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Man.
- 28:44Speaker 3: And here we are again.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Here we are again.
- 28:47Speaker 3: We are.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Unless there's a meteor, the Chiefs are probably going to
- 28:51Speaker 1: be Super Bowl champions.
- 28:54Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Personally, Personally, I think I'm taking the Chiefs. I think
- 29:01Speaker 2: I think I'm but the Eagles the way he was
- 29:05Speaker 2: explaining it to them defensively, like this is a different
- 29:07Speaker 2: this is a different team. And if you look at
- 29:10Speaker 2: the if you look at the Chiefs. They've only scored
- 29:12Speaker 2: over thirty points like two games this year last that
- 29:14Speaker 2: was one of them.
- 29:15Speaker 3: Like they have they don't have this high powered offense. Like, well,
- 29:17Speaker 3: the one thing that Eagles eliminate is your quick game.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Any hitches, any screams outside they you know, there was
- 29:24Speaker 3: an old saying like you step up to clean it up,
- 29:25Speaker 3: you back up, you give it up. Like their rookies
- 29:28Speaker 3: quinyon Cooper de Jene, like it doesn't matter who it is,
- 29:31Speaker 3: Like they attack all those plays, right, and they attacked
- 29:34Speaker 3: him yesterday, like they didn't get anything off those quick screens.
- 29:37Speaker 2: You see that play that Cooper Dejeene made. It was
- 29:39Speaker 2: either Cooper or Ryan. I can't tell the whites out there,
- 29:42Speaker 2: but they were in the they were in the yeah, yeah,
- 29:45Speaker 2: but they were in that bunch and they threw a
- 29:47Speaker 2: quick screen out to the outside of Cooper Dejien is
- 29:49Speaker 2: the only guy on the point. Man just kind of
- 29:51Speaker 2: throws Crowder aside and mix the play in the back. Well,
- 29:52Speaker 2: that was a two point conversion. Yeah, that was a
- 29:54Speaker 2: two point That was two point conversion. I think there
- 29:56Speaker 2: was another one in the middle of the field.
- 29:58Speaker 3: Well, he makes it where he they got the fumble.
- 30:03Speaker 5: It was the fumble because yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 30:08Speaker 1: The announcers go, well, he is known for having little hands.
- 30:10Speaker 1: I'm thinking, man, yeah, they go. Echo has always had
- 30:16Speaker 1: of trouble with the receiving because.
- 30:18Speaker 2: But Crowder, if the receiver crowded just blocks or gets
- 30:20Speaker 2: in the way of Cooper, Cooper is just by himself
- 30:23Speaker 2: down there and makes a play by him.
- 30:26Speaker 3: He got a defense, man, they have a defense. They
- 30:28Speaker 3: have incredible He lines up in a too deep shell
- 30:34Speaker 3: every play and then you don't know what they're doing
- 30:37Speaker 3: until the snap, like he just keeps you guessing not
- 30:39Speaker 3: did he give you anything away.
- 30:40Speaker 1: That's the most exciting thing watching football now is the
- 30:44Speaker 1: chess game between two coordinators.
- 30:47Speaker 3: I agree in it a lot.
- 30:49Speaker 1: And in the AFC Championship, you could see them kind
- 30:51Speaker 1: of look over the side, you see the shell and
- 30:54Speaker 1: they're going in their checking place. They're coming back, they're
- 30:56Speaker 1: reloading the play like that's a fun pre style thing
- 30:59Speaker 1: to watch.
- 30:59Speaker 3: But that's so that's you know, you're gonna get a
- 31:01Speaker 3: lot of that Super Bowl cent You have spags here,
- 31:03Speaker 3: you have kell more like they're gonna be that. That's
- 31:05Speaker 3: the chess match right there. He's got the smallest play sheet.
- 31:08Speaker 3: You know, he's like some people got in New Jersey,
- 31:11Speaker 3: you know, diner right there, they're calling plays from Spags
- 31:13Speaker 3: had the sheet that's like half of this right here.
- 31:16Speaker 3: Was like, how many different pressures do you have on there? Yeah?
- 31:19Speaker 1: Well, and to dial up that corner blitz on that
- 31:21Speaker 1: fourth down for Josh All, who, by the way, put
- 31:24Speaker 1: like hero throw.
- 31:26Speaker 3: Hey, that's one thing that we're missing here is should
- 31:29Speaker 3: have caught that Reactions reactions like once you watch the
- 31:37Speaker 3: replayer like, oh he should have picked that ship.
- 31:44Speaker 1: I'm like now to go into I don't think this
- 31:47Speaker 1: game was a fly like was for the Chiefs from
- 31:50Speaker 1: an NFL standpoint the way we've been seeing it the
- 31:52Speaker 1: entire year. But you did see in that play King
- 31:55Speaker 1: Kate he almost caught the ball and a flag came
- 31:57Speaker 1: out and.
- 31:57Speaker 3: They picked they picked it up because we know what
- 32:00Speaker 3: the flag was.
- 32:02Speaker 1: It was it to.
- 32:07Speaker 3: The super Bowl. As soon as he didn't catch it,
- 32:09Speaker 3: they wiped it off. Yeah yeah, because.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Taylor Swift like effect, I think you got to homes
- 32:19Speaker 2: and I think last year is too much money.
- 32:22Speaker 3: This year, I feel like it's more three p effects.
- 32:24Speaker 5: You know, how many people gonna go to the game,
- 32:26Speaker 5: and I mean she's going you know how many fans
- 32:28Speaker 5: are about to be at the game again?
- 32:30Speaker 3: Like Las Vegas?
- 32:31Speaker 5: Last year, Las Vegas was like eleven they made eleven
- 32:34Speaker 5: billion in one day, bro, And.
- 32:37Speaker 3: You just put it in Vegas every year, every year.
- 32:38Speaker 2: You guys, you guys, you guys think this this matchup
- 32:43Speaker 2: is kind of the worst one for viewership.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Well, we talked about it last week.
- 32:46Speaker 4: Why fatigue because you got you just got the Chiefs
- 32:49Speaker 4: and you got the Eagles.
- 32:49Speaker 3: It's like to twice and what three years? Three years
- 32:52Speaker 3: fan base crazy were there? If the Bill.
- 32:58Speaker 1: You put up that map for America, it's like who's
- 33:00Speaker 1: cheering for who? And it'll be like Chiefs red, Eagles
- 33:02Speaker 1: are green, and then like gray is just like the
- 33:04Speaker 1: like whoever else it's like Chiefs where the Chiefs are
- 33:08Speaker 1: the Eagles, and then everybody else is like we don't
- 33:09Speaker 1: really care.
- 33:10Speaker 3: Yeah, like you would have loved to see the Bills.
- 33:12Speaker 3: Everybody commander.
- 33:17Speaker 2: What's going off the Bills In the early nineties when
- 33:19Speaker 2: they went to four Super Bowls in a row. The
- 33:21Speaker 2: continued story of that is every team they lost to
- 33:24Speaker 2: is from the NFC East. So the Bills would have
- 33:27Speaker 2: been playing an NFC East That is sick.
- 33:28Speaker 1: I did not know that.
- 33:29Speaker 3: Yeah, they had. They lost the Dallas twice Washington, and
- 33:33Speaker 3: then what was the was Dallas the third? They lost
- 33:37Speaker 3: the Dallas. Dallas went to the Super Bowl a lot
- 33:39Speaker 3: in the nineties. Yes, but the Dallas went back to
- 33:42Speaker 3: back Super Bowls. Then they they the command Redskins beat
- 33:46Speaker 3: them in Minnesota that year. And then I forget who
- 33:49Speaker 3: their fourth defeat was. Did the Giants? Was it the
- 33:52Speaker 3: Giants go in the early nineties? No, you got LT
- 33:57Speaker 3: just saying hey, you got LT. They probably Yeah, they
- 33:59Speaker 3: went nineteen ninety the Giants one right down the Giants. Ye, yeah,
- 34:04Speaker 3: that was the first one. Yeah.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Heartbroken for the Bills man, Yeah, Harbor was most happy
- 34:08Speaker 1: for the Commanders in a completely different sense. But they
- 34:11Speaker 1: got smiles in their faces this morning when we get
- 34:13Speaker 1: the trash bags out in the locker.
- 34:14Speaker 3: Yeah. Mean you got Jane Daniels there, Yeah, I mean
- 34:16Speaker 3: the only person.
- 34:17Speaker 1: I mean Bobby Widen And I feel bad for him
- 34:18Speaker 1: because he might he could be done.
- 34:21Speaker 3: He probably he'd probably be done or not. He won't
- 34:23Speaker 3: be with he got one he got two, right, Yeah,
- 34:25Speaker 3: he got one or did he get one with the Rams.
- 34:28Speaker 1: I was just thinking that, But they didn't go that year.
- 34:32Speaker 5: No, No, I don't think so.
- 34:33Speaker 3: That was last year. That was last year. I don't
- 34:35Speaker 3: think so. Yeah.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Man, both great, I mean not both great games. That
- 34:38Speaker 1: AFC Championship was let me tell you, let me ask
- 34:41Speaker 1: you this. When was it the Bills ring to play
- 34:45Speaker 1: and then they someone challenged it? No, the Chiefs werean
- 34:49Speaker 1: to play. Then they ran another play and then they
- 34:52Speaker 1: decided to challenge the.
- 34:53Speaker 3: Previous Yeah, yeah, I didn't. I didn't understand. I don't
- 34:58Speaker 3: understand that. All that's rule penalty on that play because
- 35:01Speaker 3: if there's a penalty on the play, then the play
- 35:02Speaker 3: doesn't count.
- 35:03Speaker 1: So that was the play that worthy came down catch,
- 35:09Speaker 1: It came down ball, ends up touching, but it was
- 35:11Speaker 1: defensive holding on whoever's covering Kelsey. I think was the
- 35:14Speaker 1: more handlet. Yes, so they run another play. I believe
- 35:18Speaker 1: it's incomplete or it's a touch. I can't remember the results.
- 35:20Speaker 1: And Buffalo challenges, but Buffalo challenges where it was an
- 35:24Speaker 1: interception or not. But it's like that doesn't it doesn't matter.
- 35:27Speaker 1: It would have been a penalty. Either way, you're getting
- 35:29Speaker 1: a new set of downs. Regardless, it was a very
- 35:31Speaker 1: weird sequence events.
- 35:32Speaker 3: Do you recognize that no tweet? But I wasn't. That
- 35:35Speaker 3: catch was unbelievable though the catches Was that a catch?
- 35:40Speaker 1: Ball hit the ground?
- 35:41Speaker 3: Did he hit the ground? Yeah? Oh?
- 35:42Speaker 1: They when they showed that tip of the ball hits
- 35:44Speaker 1: the ground and Worthy's got one hand on it, and
- 35:47Speaker 1: then the defensive player has two hands on it.
- 35:49Speaker 3: I forget Baldy could be compromised. What do you mean
- 35:52Speaker 3: he's with the NFL network that you might have to
- 35:55Speaker 3: say like, oh yeah, I just right, it was a catch.
- 36:05Speaker 3: I don't know right here will I just like I'm
- 36:08Speaker 3: questioning the same things. Man.
- 36:10Speaker 1: So you think, like obviously Philly has the recipe to
- 36:13Speaker 1: beat the Chiefs.
- 36:14Speaker 3: Oh yeah, so you think I said? I said on
- 36:16Speaker 3: a podcast before the playoffs started that the Eagles go
- 36:19Speaker 3: four to oh in the postseason. Like I thought they
- 36:21Speaker 3: were just better in the trenches than everybody. They do have,
- 36:25Speaker 3: like just look at this, Like their center has got
- 36:28Speaker 3: a bad back, all right, who knows? Jargon's got one
- 36:31Speaker 3: of these like he needs he's probably gonna get an operation.
- 36:34Speaker 3: I don't know, Like, but it's bad. So he doesn't
- 36:36Speaker 3: play so now they move the left guard to center.
- 36:39Speaker 3: Right said, he gets hurt, like he's limping, he's on
- 36:41Speaker 3: one leg. He can't even stand up right, So now
- 36:43Speaker 3: they got to put Jurgons back in the game. You're
- 36:46Speaker 3: playing a second year left guard. Like this stuff has
- 36:49Speaker 3: been going on throughout the year, like nothing matters, Like
- 36:52Speaker 3: they just still keep Like most offensive lines, if they
- 36:55Speaker 3: lose a guy or two guys like they fall.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Usually your sixth guy is an adequate football player, but
- 37:03Speaker 1: you lose a lot of I don't want to beat
- 37:05Speaker 1: this struggles. I know a lot of seven and eighth guys,
- 37:07Speaker 1: but like that seventh to eighth guy on your offensive
- 37:09Speaker 1: line is like, we got to get through a game
- 37:11Speaker 1: with this guy. We got to get through a game.
- 37:12Speaker 1: But it seems like the Eagles can just kind of
- 37:13Speaker 1: keep him coming.
- 37:14Speaker 3: Well they McKay becked him right, who's spent three injury
- 37:17Speaker 3: marge years with the Jets. Yeah, bit of a bust.
- 37:20Speaker 3: All of that. He's never played guard in his life.
- 37:22Speaker 3: Nobody ever asked him to play guard. Didn't know if
- 37:24Speaker 3: he could play guard. He goes in there, guy's he's
- 37:26Speaker 3: a Pro Bowl guard to me, Like, I don't seen
- 37:28Speaker 3: nobody beats him and he's his power is like unmatched.
- 37:32Speaker 1: He's a different he's a different type of human being.
- 37:34Speaker 1: And you're talking about trunches in run game, like what
- 37:36Speaker 1: you need to win a championship on the offense side
- 37:38Speaker 1: of the ball. That Eagles have that over Chiefs.
- 37:40Speaker 2: And if you had a quarterback who's not going to
- 37:41Speaker 2: turn the ball over and he doesn't have to be
- 37:43Speaker 2: superman to win the game.
- 37:46Speaker 3: So if you look at Jalen Hurts, me everything I got,
- 37:50Speaker 3: chief then you if you take Jalen Hurts out of
- 37:53Speaker 3: that last Commander game week sixteen where he got he's
- 37:58Speaker 3: thirteen and oh his in that run thirteen and oh
- 38:02Speaker 3: since the bye week and he's thrown one interception in
- 38:05Speaker 3: those thirteen games.
- 38:06Speaker 1: The yeah, the Eagles, you're going Chiefs, aren't you? Well probably, yeah,
- 38:10Speaker 1: I'm going to go Chiefs. But to argue against that,
- 38:13Speaker 1: just for the sake of conversation, the Eagles seem like
- 38:16Speaker 1: they were playing that game knowing they were winning the
- 38:18Speaker 1: game the whole entire time. The move with Jurgons keeping him,
- 38:20Speaker 1: he was there and just in case of emerger, he
- 38:22Speaker 1: goes in. Yeah, he ends up going in landon Dickerson
- 38:25Speaker 1: he's like he knows he's got he's got a play
- 38:27Speaker 1: to help Jurgerons out because the two to go to
- 38:28Speaker 1: the Super Bowl, Saquon Barkley. They pull him out at
- 38:31Speaker 1: the right time. But all of Jalen hurts the runs.
- 38:33Speaker 1: A lot of times you've seen him lower the shoulders
- 38:35Speaker 1: and fight for extra yards. Anytime the play was over for.
- 38:37Speaker 3: Him slid down. It was it was one year going
- 38:40Speaker 3: to be help.
- 38:41Speaker 1: Yeah, and that that's where you could see Philly having
- 38:44Speaker 1: it like Kellen Moore versus Bags, Well, what do you bags?
- 38:50Speaker 3: It's hard to blitz the way Spags does if you're
- 38:52Speaker 3: just running the ball down their throats. That is true.
- 38:54Speaker 3: You just stay with it kind of Again, the.
- 38:56Speaker 1: Chiefs have the athletes on the yes, they have the
- 38:59Speaker 1: athletes in the outsie to match up one on one
- 39:01Speaker 1: with their receivers and so you're able to load that
- 39:03Speaker 1: box a little bit more.
- 39:04Speaker 2: Yeah, but this is a different offensive line too. Like
- 39:07Speaker 2: a lot of times, it's like you can almost overload
- 39:09Speaker 2: one side. Put put Chris Jones by himself somewhere else.
- 39:11Speaker 2: Who you're gonna match Chris Jones up against probably gonna
- 39:13Speaker 2: be somebody from the inside because it is gonna be
- 39:15Speaker 2: Lane Johnson's gonna be my allotta like they got they
- 39:18Speaker 2: have such a gaff.
- 39:18Speaker 3: I'm the Chiefs.
- 39:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell Chris Jones, hey, you're not playing. You're
- 39:21Speaker 1: playing on the outside unless we're in these packages, but
- 39:24Speaker 1: you're still on the inside. You're running rushing against those.
- 39:26Speaker 3: That's where it goes. Though. He goes where he thinks
- 39:28Speaker 3: he can win. I don't think he thinks he can
- 39:29Speaker 3: beat Malata or Lane, right, so he'll stay inside. Probably
- 39:32Speaker 3: when did it was?
- 39:33Speaker 1: It was JJ Watt the first person that started doing
- 39:35Speaker 1: that where he would kind of go down the line
- 39:37Speaker 1: on the five and say, oh, hey, who's having a
- 39:39Speaker 1: Bruce Smith?
- 39:40Speaker 3: But before that, Bruce Smith did that. Bruce Smith, Yeah,
- 39:42Speaker 3: he'd got a guy. Remember one time I had to
- 39:44Speaker 3: go in and play center. I was in Indianapolis. We
- 39:46Speaker 3: played him twice a year and like the center got hurt.
- 39:49Speaker 3: So I go from guard to center and as soon
- 39:51Speaker 3: as I get there, Bruce Smith comes to visit me.
- 39:55Speaker 3: You know, like I'm snapping and a shotgun on the
- 39:57Speaker 3: first play and Bruce is like cock on my snapping hand. Yeah,
- 40:01Speaker 3: and I'm like ship this.
- 40:03Speaker 1: Mother, get back as quick, pop in the in the
- 40:07Speaker 1: middle of the forehead back to the quarterback speaking pops
- 40:11Speaker 1: of the four Jaalen car, Oh my god, and also
- 40:14Speaker 1: just binking the what was it the steps w w
- 40:17Speaker 1: E like just yeah, He's.
- 40:22Speaker 3: Like, I'll take the penalty. Took the center down. He's
- 40:25Speaker 3: so violent. Showed the play this morning, like they had
- 40:30Speaker 3: a play where they were gonna wham him with the
- 40:32Speaker 3: with the running back. He literally jumped over the waver,
- 40:35Speaker 3: jumped over the the wham like I've seen tackles do
- 40:38Speaker 3: everything in his business plane. I haven't seen a tackle
- 40:40Speaker 3: jump over a block like that. He's like in mid air,
- 40:44Speaker 3: like off the turn bar.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Whim is the dumbest play to me, I hate the hate.
- 40:49Speaker 1: I think it's so My experience with the whim is
- 40:54Speaker 1: t f ls. It's always a tend or a full
- 40:58Speaker 1: back trying to slash the nose. They get in and
- 41:00Speaker 1: bounced off.
- 41:00Speaker 3: And then that was a big Belichick plays when they
- 41:06Speaker 3: went on that Super Bowl run, they were a big day.
- 41:08Speaker 5: You're for the wamr a lot too when I was there.
- 41:11Speaker 1: I love my I love power, I love counter, I
- 41:14Speaker 1: love perimeter plays.
- 41:15Speaker 3: Yeah, but that wham everybody has his play now it's
- 41:18Speaker 3: called I called triple trap double scoop. So you have
- 41:21Speaker 3: you have the wham block, you have the guard block,
- 41:23Speaker 3: and you have the tackle blocking out, so you get
- 41:25Speaker 3: three three traps and then you have the two inside
- 41:27Speaker 3: scoops on the linebackers and like, I just see this
- 41:30Speaker 3: play getting busted and pop like left and right. Yeah.
- 41:34Speaker 2: There's a lot of times too when you're in the
- 41:36Speaker 2: zone scheme and you just have a tighten and sift
- 41:38Speaker 2: across your eyes as a backer, everybody's looking to go
- 41:41Speaker 2: get back, get back, and then once people catch you
- 41:43Speaker 2: on the wams start coming into the equation because it
- 41:46Speaker 2: emulates the tight end going across your send back to
- 41:49Speaker 2: the other guy. But really against the wham, you have
- 41:51Speaker 2: to go straight down that tackle.
- 41:54Speaker 5: Well, it depends, it depends ours depends who you wham
- 41:57Speaker 5: and what technique they was in. That's the That's what
- 42:00Speaker 5: the Titans made it more difficult because we had to
- 42:02Speaker 5: read the technique. We will motion and cross and be like, okay,
- 42:04Speaker 5: I got the three, Now you gotta wham that three.
- 42:07Speaker 5: But if it was if he wasn't in the three,
- 42:09Speaker 5: you wham what the nose? Yeah, So it was like
- 42:13Speaker 5: you had to know who to wham.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Right when you're an emotion going across and sometimes in
- 42:18Speaker 1: your emotion they bumped.
- 42:19Speaker 3: So yeah, so that used to throw you.
- 42:21Speaker 5: I just kind of wait to see who the line
- 42:24Speaker 5: was gonna let free.
- 42:25Speaker 1: I love teams to do basic things, elite with a
- 42:29Speaker 1: little bit of windows, a couple of emotions, slash a guy.
- 42:33Speaker 1: At the end of the day, you're running inside zone,
- 42:36Speaker 1: you're running duo dose, those types of things.
- 42:39Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 42:39Speaker 1: It's also the world I grew up in, where you're
- 42:41Speaker 1: making basic things look a little bit more exactly at
- 42:43Speaker 1: the end of the day, it's this play.
- 42:45Speaker 3: That's the stuff that I like. A lot of cheese
- 42:47Speaker 3: out there in this world. Man, a lot of big game.
- 42:51Speaker 2: Where are you going? Chiefs favored by one and a half.
- 42:54Speaker 2: The over under on this game is forty nine and
- 42:55Speaker 2: a half. I'm taking the Chiefs, Chiefs. I'm taking the Chiefs.
- 42:58Speaker 3: We know your because I want to see a repeat.
- 43:02Speaker 3: I love to see it.
- 43:04Speaker 1: It's history.
- 43:05Speaker 3: It's uh.
- 43:06Speaker 1: We walked into the AFC Championship and I said, I
- 43:08Speaker 1: want the Bills to win this game. And if the
- 43:09Speaker 1: Bills don't win, I'm going for the Chiefs.
- 43:11Speaker 3: I'm going for the Chiefs. My worst case scenario was
- 43:14Speaker 3: Chiefs Eagles. Is the is the last three peat in
- 43:17Speaker 3: any sport? Was it the Lakers? Did the Lakers win
- 43:20Speaker 3: three championships in a row? I'm not guys, oh a, yeah, yeah,
- 43:26Speaker 3: yeah yeah.
- 43:27Speaker 2: Fireball The ball z Pro Pick of the Week is
- 43:29Speaker 2: sponsored by Fireball fire Balls. A perfect shot for game day,
- 43:32Speaker 2: whether you're buying the Sneaky Litt Shooters before going into
- 43:34Speaker 2: the stadium or going big with the Fireball cake for
- 43:37Speaker 2: your tailgate. Whether it's a pre game shot and the
- 43:39Speaker 2: tailgate lot or a celebratory touchdown shot at the bar.
- 43:42Speaker 3: No matter what, it's guaranteed doing Nichel game day.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Another thing about the Chiefs too, is I love a
- 43:48Speaker 1: good story. I love storylines. And the thought of Travis
- 43:51Speaker 1: Kelcey hanging it up after this game, achieving the first
- 43:53Speaker 1: thing ever in the NFL in NFL history.
- 43:55Speaker 3: That's special to me. I mean, dude, he's gotta retire,
- 43:59Speaker 3: he retire iron after this year.
- 44:02Speaker 1: You look at Jason Kelsey, you get a dynasty bro
- 44:05Speaker 1: Like you look at Jason Kelsey.
- 44:07Speaker 3: If you go back, would you play one less year?
- 44:10Speaker 5: It's different with Jason. Jason was in the trenches. I
- 44:13Speaker 5: feel like Kelsey still got a couple of more years
- 44:15Speaker 5: in them.
- 44:16Speaker 3: He might. He definitely feels a lot better with Jason.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm saying at the same time, he's like he's
- 44:20Speaker 1: got too two receptions last.
- 44:23Speaker 3: Yame be the only person not really like. But he's
- 44:26Speaker 3: got the record for the most postseason touchdowns, no doubt.
- 44:29Speaker 1: No, he's a first off, but he's just the greatest
- 44:31Speaker 1: time of all times. That doesn't think he's achieved all
- 44:33Speaker 1: of the things. Why not go out on a three
- 44:35Speaker 1: point well?
- 44:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I do think some people can stay
- 44:40Speaker 3: at the party too long. Yeah. And the fact that
- 44:42Speaker 3: him and his brother got all these things set up,
- 44:45Speaker 3: you know, production, he got billion dollars from Pier.
- 44:48Speaker 1: I mean the commercial he's got so much money is
- 44:52Speaker 1: an issue for the biggest star in the world.
- 44:54Speaker 3: No, I mean he could just go be the you know,
- 44:56Speaker 3: the next action hero whatever they're going to do with them. Yeah.
- 44:59Speaker 1: I just you've done it all, man, You've done it all,
- 45:02Speaker 1: You've achieved it all.
- 45:03Speaker 3: Like, why not? That's definitely a discussion. Yeah, have this
- 45:06Speaker 3: game's got Eagles all over it.
- 45:08Speaker 1: Yeah, and that's why everyone watching, that's why you go
- 45:12Speaker 1: cheap I should line of scrimmage.
- 45:15Speaker 2: I like the Eagles defense. I like the Eagles running game.
- 45:18Speaker 2: I like the Eagles. The only thing that is up
- 45:21Speaker 2: for argument is really the quarterback position. They got Patrick Mahomes,
- 45:24Speaker 2: but Jalen Hurts again to this point, thirteen games, one interception,
- 45:27Speaker 2: you got somebody who doesn't turn the ball over. You're
- 45:29Speaker 2: not gonna really stop Saquon barklaying this rushing attack. In
- 45:32Speaker 2: my opinion, maybe they might. They do have a good
- 45:34Speaker 2: run defense, but I just feel like all like you
- 45:37Speaker 2: look at the perma players on the outside, Devonte Smith,
- 45:40Speaker 2: A J. Brown, you got the right end, got her like,
- 45:43Speaker 2: they just have so many weapons.
- 45:45Speaker 3: Their roster is better.
- 45:46Speaker 4: And I know again to me, you get caught up
- 45:48Speaker 4: in the fascination of three peat and everything else.
- 45:50Speaker 3: Thiss got Eagles. Who do you think the biggest star
- 45:53Speaker 3: of this game is? Do you think it's Mahomes or
- 45:55Speaker 3: do you think you Couon Barkley? And February ninth, guess
- 45:59Speaker 3: what Saquon bark his birthday is? Yeah, what's your tenor age? What?
- 46:04Speaker 3: Twenty eight?
- 46:05Speaker 1: Born in ninety seven? I saw the same thing born
- 46:07Speaker 1: in ninety.
- 46:07Speaker 3: Seven, So whatever that is, okay? Twenty eight, twenty years old,
- 46:11Speaker 3: twenty eight still got.
- 46:13Speaker 5: It young, but not just bro I mean traveling third
- 46:18Speaker 5: or two.
- 46:19Speaker 3: No, Travis is older than me.
- 46:21Speaker 1: He's yeah, no, he's thirty six thirty Oh okay, yeah,
- 46:25Speaker 1: who you got, Donny?
- 46:26Speaker 3: Eagles. I know I shouldn't go against the Chiefs.
- 46:29Speaker 5: I've said this multiple times, but again, I think the
- 46:32Speaker 5: Eagles are the better team here.
- 46:34Speaker 1: You you never bet against the champ until the champ gives.
- 46:37Speaker 3: You a reason against Trust me. We say this every week.
- 46:39Speaker 3: Say what happens every week? I lose?
- 46:42Speaker 5: Yeah, but at some point, at some point records last week,
- 46:47Speaker 5: they're not telling it.
- 46:48Speaker 3: Not good? Okay, okay, I mean because I think one's business. No,
- 46:53Speaker 3: you probably hit one. Then you go Bills and Bills
- 46:56Speaker 3: and Eagles. So one on one, it's one and one
- 47:00Speaker 3: that bet the Chiefs.
- 47:04Speaker 2: It's like we everybody kind of said the things of like, hey,
- 47:07Speaker 2: three p the Eagles. I was like, hey, Eagles A
- 47:09Speaker 2: probably gonna win this game. But I'm recommanders. But I'm
- 47:11Speaker 2: still And also what.
- 47:13Speaker 1: I say in the regular season, Bills beat the Chiefs
- 47:16Speaker 1: in regular.
- 47:17Speaker 3: Season four they need to do next year sit all
- 47:21Speaker 3: their starters. Bills just sit all their stars don't win.
- 47:23Speaker 3: The Chiefs loose, you lose. You've now flipped. You guys
- 47:26Speaker 3: have the biggest omen for who's gonna win this game?
- 47:28Speaker 3: Right over the wall right, I'm looking at Rocky Likes.
- 47:30Speaker 3: It's Rocky town Man. There you go, There you go,
- 47:33Speaker 3: Rocky's right there, there you go.
- 47:36Speaker 1: Here's another omen for the last two and a half years.
- 47:38Speaker 1: Will Compton's that the Chiefs are dead. They're dead, They're
- 47:40Speaker 1: always under dead. And has willed they I guarantee the
- 47:43Speaker 1: Chiefs locker room. There's a picture of Will Compton someone
- 47:46Speaker 1: with his old teeth and they're like, this motherfucker is
- 47:48Speaker 1: the reason why we're gonna win the Super Bowl.
- 47:50Speaker 2: Drew Trank, Will tweeted, tweeted at me last night says
- 47:53Speaker 2: Compton loves the Chiefs.
- 47:54Speaker 3: He's gonna be talking about all week on bus.
- 47:57Speaker 4: Because he goes.
- 47:58Speaker 2: He goes there for everybody saying the referees, YadA, we
- 48:00Speaker 2: staying on business and I just put business and it
- 48:02Speaker 2: was just a penalty flag the business written on it.
- 48:05Speaker 3: Is that one of the greatest signings though, the chief signing.
- 48:07Speaker 3: Drew trankle bro he's been he's un chargers because when
- 48:10Speaker 3: he was on the Chargers. Who is he with then?
- 48:13Speaker 3: Who is the guy next to him? Well, they had
- 48:15Speaker 3: the guy from Kenneth Murray, Kenneth Murray. Yeah, yeah, he's
- 48:20Speaker 3: had a hell of dude Bolton too, that he made
- 48:23Speaker 3: like it was it.
- 48:25Speaker 2: Was it knocks where he it's a good ball and
- 48:28Speaker 2: it's over the middle and Bolton just plays his arms,
- 48:31Speaker 2: he catches the ball. Bolton plays off the field. They
- 48:34Speaker 2: play every every play. Yeah, they have good they have
- 48:37Speaker 2: good backers. Shout out Drew. Maybe next year on the
- 48:40Speaker 2: Old White team. That's probably where he's probably projecting because
- 48:42Speaker 2: he was on the Old White team.
- 48:43Speaker 1: Yeah, probably Chiefs Eagles, Eagles.
- 48:47Speaker 3: Eagles, Yeah, Eagles, And I just thought that. But but
- 48:50Speaker 3: for good reason though, Taylor, like honestly, like they're better
- 48:53Speaker 3: in the trenches. That's where these games are won. Like
- 48:56Speaker 3: they're just better than the Chiefs are right there.
- 48:58Speaker 1: I don't disagree with anything I said. I know coaching wines.
- 49:01Speaker 3: Better the run games. But if you said Andy Reid
- 49:03Speaker 3: Nick Sirianni, right, I mean, you know, like there's certain
- 49:05Speaker 3: things that definitely I don't think people are gonna question,
- 49:09Speaker 3: you know, the game plan.
- 49:11Speaker 2: You just all game defense, you got that great defense
- 49:14Speaker 2: in Philly. It's all about, Hey, when Xavier Worthy's in
- 49:17Speaker 2: where he's lined up here, here's when he's motion. Here's
- 49:19Speaker 2: the big motion tendency you always gotta be aware of.
- 49:21Speaker 1: Here's here's the thing you bring up that Andy Reid's
- 49:23Speaker 1: and the other other things saying, when Xavier Worthy is here,
- 49:26Speaker 1: they're gonna think X, Y and Z and that is
- 49:30Speaker 1: a reed above everybody else.
- 49:33Speaker 3: And you got two weeks of prepare so you have
- 49:34Speaker 3: to do that right, Like when.
- 49:36Speaker 1: When Alabama was relevant. It's like Nick Saban, if he
- 49:38Speaker 1: is a month to prepare for.
- 49:39Speaker 3: You, like that you get going to beat you. You
- 49:42Speaker 3: give him a pint of hogging doss and like you know,
- 49:44Speaker 3: and let him burn the midnight. Like that guy is
- 49:48Speaker 3: chickling like nobody else. Yeah, that's why all these all
- 49:52Speaker 3: these guys that leave Andy Reids nest on offense, like
- 49:54Speaker 3: they're never really successful because none of them have the
- 49:58Speaker 3: mind of Andy. Like there's never like most teams, they
- 50:01Speaker 3: have a playbook, we work out of the playbook. We'll
- 50:03Speaker 3: we'll tinker a little bit, and he's playbook. It's just
- 50:07Speaker 3: it's it's never ending, right, Like it's a constant. It's
- 50:11Speaker 3: just concepts. It's concepts. Like where was Juju Smith Schuster
- 50:16Speaker 3: all year all year? Like here he is an r
- 50:18Speaker 3: p O right down the middle of the field.
- 50:20Speaker 1: Hollywood Brown, I Collarbonember fourteenth comes back. He's kind of
- 50:25Speaker 1: the hour is he around? Like when you're utility guy?
- 50:28Speaker 1: Is DeAndre Hopkins?
- 50:30Speaker 3: You're in a good spot. Yeah, you're in a good spot.
- 50:33Speaker 3: Just just the only for DeAndre if the walls don't,
- 50:36Speaker 3: just make sure you catch it, Like that's all He's got.
- 50:38Speaker 1: To need you to get Yeah, and he's gonna get
- 50:40Speaker 1: He he understands the soft points of the the ability
- 50:44Speaker 1: to beat guys in man coverage.
- 50:45Speaker 5: Cay look for Travis Skills have a big game.
- 50:49Speaker 3: He will have a touchdown in the Super Bowl. I mean,
- 50:52Speaker 3: you made that bad last week.
- 50:55Speaker 4: It's perfect time and to get into our our big game.

- 51:34Speaker 3: Super Bowl MVP.
- 51:37Speaker 5: I'm going Eagles, so I'm gonna have to go with Jalen.
- 51:39Speaker 4: You going Jalen, See, I'm going to Eagles, but I'm
- 51:41Speaker 4: going safety.
- 51:43Speaker 1: But I think quarterback if the Eagles when it's going
- 51:46Speaker 1: to be because of Saquon Bark, Yeah, you think so,
- 51:49Speaker 1: he's gonna have at least one would think.
- 51:51Speaker 3: So, buddy, he's done rush for yeah one yea.
- 51:55Speaker 5: I know, but you know, Jalen the quarterback. So sometimes
- 51:58Speaker 5: I just feel like the quarterback.
- 52:00Speaker 3: I think I wouldn't surprise me a safe one. Just
- 52:03Speaker 3: take a scream and just take it to the house
- 52:04Speaker 3: like just little things. He said, you get him in
- 52:07Speaker 3: the open field right now, He's just making every right cut,
- 52:10Speaker 3: every right move, and nobody could catch him. He's this
- 52:12Speaker 3: is the first time really in his whole career has
- 52:15Speaker 3: been healthy start to finish. He hadn't been nicked up
- 52:17Speaker 3: by anything like he gets two weeks around. Yeah, he
- 52:21Speaker 3: was a couple of drives, like just a cramp. What
- 52:26Speaker 3: was that showed down in the middle. You can't run that.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Well, I'm not saying I'm not a doctor. Well, I'm
- 52:35Speaker 1: not out here saying he has an actual strain. I'm
- 52:37Speaker 1: saying he's out the there gun after one drive. Something's
- 52:39Speaker 1: obviously bothering him in the calf.
- 52:40Speaker 3: Yeah, but I'm saying it's it's not a bicycle too.
- 52:43Speaker 3: I saw him on a bicycle, on a bicycle yesterday. Yeah,
- 52:46Speaker 3: he was in the bike sixty. He's got to week now.
- 52:51Speaker 5: It was after he took on that block in the middle,
- 52:54Speaker 5: and then that's when he went out and started messing
- 52:55Speaker 5: with his calft.
- 52:57Speaker 3: He picked up that blitz where he did he Bobby?
- 53:01Speaker 1: You know?
- 53:01Speaker 3: Yeah, he bodied them. I posted.
- 53:07Speaker 2: That.
- 53:07Speaker 3: I posted that. He like, did you didn't mention that
- 53:10Speaker 3: the guard freaking shove me to to He sent me
- 53:18Speaker 3: up as well on the list. While I did the
- 53:19Speaker 3: top five linebackers, you didn't put him on. Oh he
- 53:21Speaker 3: might have been fourth or fifth or maybe not, And
- 53:24Speaker 3: I'm just thinking like, yeah, I mean, Jesus, they all
- 53:27Speaker 3: take that, they take the post. Yeah, yeah, he takes
- 53:30Speaker 3: that's all right. So you're one one, take one, all right.
- 53:33Speaker 3: I'll take obviously the Pat Mahomes Chief swing m v P.
- 53:40Speaker 3: The Chiefs Chiefs win. Yeah, I'll say past the m
- 53:43Speaker 3: v P.
- 53:44Speaker 1: Was there anybody else that you think, oh, they could
- 53:45Speaker 1: take the m v P? Because I don't think there's
- 53:47Speaker 1: gonna be one receiver that.
- 53:49Speaker 5: Travis Travis, Travis, if you have a hell of a game,
- 53:52Speaker 5: Travis definitely.
- 53:54Speaker 4: Or Chris Jones, well yeah, boy defender.
- 54:01Speaker 5: Yeah, but did you see how many sacks that man had?
- 54:03Speaker 5: He Yeah, that was in a great fashion. I mean,
- 54:10Speaker 5: you're gonna win it when you do something like that.
- 54:11Speaker 1: I hope we get Cam Newton for an interview in
- 54:13Speaker 1: the Super Bowl because I love to talk about him
- 54:14Speaker 1: not diving on that fumble.
- 54:17Speaker 3: He talked about it all the time. I know. But
- 54:19Speaker 3: what you said, what are you saying.
- 54:21Speaker 5: About to get hurt or break his hand or something like,
- 54:23Speaker 5: it's the Super Bowl, You've got to be able to go.
- 54:30Speaker 3: To break my hand? Just brutal.
- 54:33Speaker 1: We feel good. We are jumping the bus right now.
- 54:36Speaker 2: Yeah, big hugs, tiny kisses, comment, subscribe, good luck,
