GIANTS POSTCAST: BATS FALL FLAT AGAIN as Giants Fall to Padres
The San Francisco Giants took an early lead in this game, but ultimately fell to the San Diego Padres at Petco Park, with a final score of 5-1. Jung Hoo Lee launched a leadoff home run on the second pitch of the game, but the offense was lifeless after the first inning yet again. Kai-Wei Teng continued to look overmatched today as he gave up three runs (two earned) in just 3.1 innings pitched. Meanwhile, Nick Pivetta dominated the San Francisco Giants with 10 strikeouts over six innings pitched.
