- 0:15Speaker 3: life lessons and tips to help make you rich in
- 0:17Speaker 3: life and buckle in, Buckle up, Bookaroo, We're in for
- 0:22Speaker 3: another chicks chat, strap in.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Or strap on?
- 0:24Speaker 3: Mm hmmm, we've got our advice to the chicks submitted
- 0:27Speaker 3: in by you lovely leaders. Well as usual, these have
- 0:32Speaker 3: been picked up by our beautiful producer. We haven't read
- 0:35Speaker 3: them yet, so it's gonna be raw reactions and our
- 0:40Speaker 3: two cents.
- 0:41Speaker 4: But I was a good girl and she was gonna
- 0:43Speaker 4: say something about doing it raw.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Yeah, go on, Nokay, that's right, I'm going.
- 0:48Speaker 4: To behave, I'll be I'll be ho.
- 0:50Speaker 1: All right. Shall we get straight into it?
- 0:52Speaker 2: Yeah, let's do the damn thing, all right.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Dilemma number one. A few weeks ago, my friend group
- 0:58Speaker 1: of six went on a girl's weekend away. We rented
- 1:02Speaker 1: an airbnb, had wine the usual girls trip vibes. One night,
- 1:06Speaker 1: we decided to play one of those anonymous confession gamess.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Did jumbody murder No, Where everyone writes something in a
- 1:17Speaker 1: notes app and someone reads them out loud. I have
- 1:20Speaker 1: never heard of anyone doing this secret meanie game. Most
- 1:25Speaker 1: of them were pretty harmless, like bad dates, embarrassing hookups, etc.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Then one came up that said something like I hooked
- 1:33Speaker 1: up with someone in this group's ex and never told
- 1:36Speaker 1: her because I didn't think it would last what The
- 1:41Speaker 1: room went very quiet because one of the girls in
- 1:43Speaker 1: the group had a pretty serious X last year and
- 1:46Speaker 1: that she's still a bit sensitive about. Everyone started asking
- 1:50Speaker 1: whose confession it was, and things got awkward pretty fast.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Here's the part where I might be the problem.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Oh oh would you do?
- 1:58Speaker 1: Earlier that night, my best friend had ended me her
- 2:00Speaker 1: phone to take some photos, and when I opened it,
- 2:04Speaker 1: her notes app was already opened and I saw a
- 2:06Speaker 1: draft that was basically the same confession.
- 2:11Speaker 5: I didn't Oh my god.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I didn't really think much of it at the time,
- 2:14Speaker 1: so when everyone started arguing about it, I tried to
- 2:17Speaker 1: play it off and continue the game. But apparently I
- 2:21Speaker 1: looked suspicious because another friend kept pressing me, asking if
- 2:25Speaker 1: I knew something.
- 2:28Speaker 4: Oh no, it was probably written all over a face, But.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Have they thought, Oh wait, let me finish, Let me
- 2:34Speaker 1: finish I didn't directly say it was my best friend,
- 2:36Speaker 1: but I kind of awkwardly said something like I think
- 2:39Speaker 1: it might not have been a big deal when it happened.
- 2:42Speaker 1: After that, everyone basically put two and two together and
- 2:46Speaker 1: realized it was her. She got really upset and left
- 2:50Speaker 1: the room. The whole vibe of the trip was ruined,
- 2:52Speaker 1: and we actually ended up leaving early the next day.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Now the group is kind of divided. Some people are
- 2:59Speaker 1: mad at her for hiding the hook up in the
- 3:01Speaker 1: first place, but she's mostly mad at me because she
- 3:04Speaker 1: feels like I exposed her when I.
- 3:06Speaker 5: Should have stayed completely quiet.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Technically, I never said it was her, but I also
- 3:12Speaker 1: feel like my reaction definitely gave it away. So my
- 3:15Speaker 1: dilemma is, do I fully apologize and take the blame
- 3:18Speaker 1: for exposing her even though she was the one who
- 3:20Speaker 1: submitted the confession. Do I just give her space and
- 3:23Speaker 1: hope things calm down. I genuinely didn't mean to blow
- 3:26Speaker 1: up the whole trip, and that's basically what happened. Oh
- 3:28Speaker 1: my god, Oh my god, come here right now, sit
- 3:30Speaker 1: on my lap and let me give you a hug.
- 3:32Speaker 5: You didn't blow up the trip.
- 3:34Speaker 3: No one forced her to submit that anonymous message.
- 3:39Speaker 5: The trip she went, she blew up the trip.
- 3:42Speaker 3: This has clearly been weighing on her that she was like, Okay,
- 3:45Speaker 3: now's my chance to just let it out. Like she
- 3:47Speaker 3: probably has been sitting there with this secret and it
- 3:50Speaker 3: she's just been like bursting to get out of her.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Because why else would you put that in there?
- 3:56Speaker 5: So did but.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Did she so bad for this ship because she's like,
- 4:03Speaker 3: it's my fault I ruined the trip.
- 4:05Speaker 5: You did not ruin the trip.
- 4:07Speaker 1: You did not hook up with your friend's ex, and
- 4:09Speaker 1: nor did you.
- 4:10Speaker 4: Go it was Jessica, like.
- 4:13Speaker 1: You didn't do anything, and it's not your responsibility to
- 4:17Speaker 1: be able to lie well for someone else's lie.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Especially well, yeah, completely, and especially when it's fresh information
- 4:25Speaker 3: that you've only just feiled.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Well, that's the thing is like if you knew for
- 4:30Speaker 1: months and months and months and months, I.
- 4:33Speaker 5: Still would be like, like if that happened.
- 4:35Speaker 1: For us, Like, let's pretend your name is Lily and
- 4:39Speaker 1: my name is Poppy, and I know that Lily's hooked
- 4:43Speaker 1: up with Gerald. Sorry, then Gerald dated Simo and then
- 4:49Speaker 1: I know this, But you decided to go rogue and
- 4:52Speaker 1: put it in there and I'm like, fuck, like, yeah,
- 4:56Speaker 1: oh my god, Lily, zip it, Lily.
- 5:00Speaker 3: And also because when you jumped in, you were trying
- 5:04Speaker 3: to be like.
- 5:05Speaker 5: No, it's okay because everyone's being like freaking.
- 5:08Speaker 3: The fuck out, and you're saying, because if we were
- 5:10Speaker 3: going to put.
- 5:11Speaker 1: That in there, sorry, I'm rammed. Now you're gonna put
- 5:13Speaker 1: that in there and not fucking own up to it,
- 5:15Speaker 1: don't put it in there.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Do you think she put it.
- 5:18Speaker 4: In there thinking people would be like ha ha, and
- 5:21Speaker 4: then she could be like it was me, Like.
- 5:24Speaker 1: What was she hoping that the response would be, I
- 5:28Speaker 1: want to know I hooked up with someone in this
- 5:30Speaker 1: group's X and never told her because I didn't think
- 5:32Speaker 1: it woul last. So she's saying I didn't think that
- 5:35Speaker 1: X and the friend would last, or.
- 5:37Speaker 3: That maybe they would last like the chick who hooked
- 5:41Speaker 3: up with them, and like it wasn't serious, it wasn't
- 5:44Speaker 3: a long term thing.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Yeah, But I'm like, how can you not even read
- 5:50Speaker 1: the room? But like that's not funny to admit in
- 5:54Speaker 1: a group atmosphere.
- 5:56Speaker 2: How hurtful?
- 5:57Speaker 4: Would that be?
- 5:58Speaker 2: Such a cop out? X?
- 6:01Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 6:02Speaker 1: And like if that was me and a friend was
- 6:04Speaker 1: like yeah, I've I packed him or I made out
- 6:06Speaker 1: with him or whatever it was in front of a
- 6:07Speaker 1: group of people. I would be so embarrassed. Yeah, Like
- 6:10Speaker 1: I would feel like the butt of a joke, even
- 6:13Speaker 1: though like I didn't do anything wrong. It would be
- 6:15Speaker 1: like cool, like I had feelings with this person and
- 6:18Speaker 1: I had no idea that he hooked up with one
- 6:19Speaker 1: of my friends. Like wow, I would feel so stupid
- 6:22Speaker 1: and silly, which like isn't how someone should feel.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's a natural response.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Sorry, yeah, dog house to this bitch.
- 6:30Speaker 4: Like, you don't need to apologize.
- 6:32Speaker 3: I think you could explain your side of the story,
- 6:36Speaker 3: but say, look, at the end of the day, it
- 6:38Speaker 3: was your choice to put it in, and really I
- 6:41Speaker 3: think you and our other friend need to have a
- 6:44Speaker 3: conversation about how you can potentially work forward, like and
- 6:48Speaker 3: if you can't, like that's between you two.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Imagine imagine sitting there and going, oh, yeah, I wrote
- 6:55Speaker 1: in this submission, but then getting mad at someone else.
- 6:59Speaker 1: So was she We're just gonna sit there and not
- 7:01Speaker 1: admit to it the whole time, and things were just
- 7:03Speaker 1: gonna be awkward and everyone's going who said it?
- 7:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I feel like she was hoping that they.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Was already in her notes app. Did she was she
- 7:10Speaker 1: the one that suggested playing the anonymous confession game?
- 7:13Speaker 4: Yeah, Secret Meani game, Secret Meani game.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:17Speaker 4: Was She's like, I have this idea for this shit.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Because I'm sitting he going, I ain't never heard of
- 7:24Speaker 1: anyone anyone played that game before? Why never played that game?
- 7:28Speaker 3: It's like the person at the party who would instigate
- 7:30Speaker 3: the spin the bottle and it's like you know that
- 7:32Speaker 3: and you're gonna flicker the wrist and hope that it
- 7:34Speaker 3: lands on Jason or whoever because you just want to
- 7:37Speaker 3: kiss Jason.
- 7:38Speaker 4: Yeah, Like you're bringing up to play that game because
- 7:41Speaker 4: you have an air result mode? Yeah? And is that
- 7:43Speaker 4: what this is?
- 7:44Speaker 3: Either that she wanted to like test the waters and
- 7:46Speaker 3: be like how are people going to react? Like are
- 7:48Speaker 3: they gonna be like ha ha, like that's crazy or
- 7:51Speaker 3: are they going to get mad?
- 7:52Speaker 2: Or was she so plagued with guilt.
- 7:54Speaker 4: It she just like had to let it out.
- 7:56Speaker 1: It sounds like this game where people like ride in
- 7:59Speaker 1: going like most likely to blah blah blah, and then
- 8:02Speaker 1: they like point to someone and like, but people can
- 8:06Speaker 1: be really mean about it, be like most likely to
- 8:08Speaker 1: like cheat on their boyfriend or whatever it is, and
- 8:10Speaker 1: it's like who wins? Yeah, in that's so true, you know,
- 8:15Speaker 1: like who wins when you play games like that? And
- 8:19Speaker 1: also like it's supposed to be, like she said, most
- 8:21Speaker 1: of them were pretty harmless, bad dates, embarrassing hookups. Yeah,
- 8:25Speaker 1: but like that by confessing that really at the end
- 8:29Speaker 1: of the day, like what was the goal there?
- 8:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I reckon chat to her, and I also think
- 8:37Speaker 3: chat to the other girls.
- 8:38Speaker 2: I would say I had no idea.
- 8:41Speaker 1: I literally found out ten minutes before the game, and
- 8:45Speaker 1: I felt really uncomfortable and I didn't know what to do.
- 8:47Speaker 1: I'm sorry if you felt like I wasn't honest with you.
- 8:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:50Speaker 3: And she also could explain like she'd seen a draft
- 8:54Speaker 3: of a message, but it wasn't clear what it was about,
- 8:57Speaker 3: because it's not I don't think the message was like
- 8:59Speaker 3: I hooked up with Gerald, like or I don't know specifically,
- 9:03Speaker 3: Like it seemed like she was confused when she first
- 9:05Speaker 3: saw the message.
- 9:06Speaker 2: She didn't know what it was about. And then when
- 9:08Speaker 2: the annon was read.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Out, she was like, oh my god, one puss Wina Eagles,
- 9:12Speaker 3: you fucked her ex.
- 9:16Speaker 4: Crazy.
- 9:16Speaker 1: I'm I trying to reread it, being like, is there
- 9:18Speaker 1: a detail we missed? And I'm like no, yeah.
- 9:22Speaker 5: Because as well. Sorry.
- 9:24Speaker 3: But when she's playing it off, going no, no, let's
- 9:27Speaker 3: move on, let's move on, I was like, fuck, do
- 9:29Speaker 3: they think it was her? That's what I thought, because
- 9:31Speaker 3: she's trying to cover for a best friend, which I'm
- 9:33Speaker 3: so sorry under the bus you go, I'm.
- 9:37Speaker 5: Not getting done dirty.
- 9:39Speaker 4: It was poppy, it was poppy.
- 9:42Speaker 5: It wasn't poppy, it was Lily No I thought.
- 9:45Speaker 1: I was like, does it Simon, there's too many we
- 9:50Speaker 1: fucked it.
- 9:51Speaker 5: All we know is that Gerald's a dirty dog too.
- 9:55Speaker 4: Guy, let's bring Gerald into the chat.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You know what?
- 9:58Speaker 3: Fuck?
- 9:58Speaker 5: Gerald?
- 9:59Speaker 4: Can air be and b and invite Gerald and time up.
- 10:05Speaker 1: There's actually like a full on horror movie called I
- 10:07Speaker 1: think Gerald's Games.
- 10:10Speaker 4: Stephen King novel, Yeah like that, and it is.
- 10:14Speaker 2: It's like in the woods somewhere.
- 10:16Speaker 5: It's got nothing to do with this, but we.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Can do a reboot because reboots are really in and
- 10:21Speaker 3: it's basedoping a completely different story.
- 10:24Speaker 4: Love it okay, Oh.
- 10:26Speaker 1: I'm like I just want to hug it because it's like,
- 10:28Speaker 1: I genuinely didn't mean to blow up the whole trip.
- 10:31Speaker 2: You didn't you did it?
- 10:32Speaker 1: The fact that you even left with your best friend
- 10:34Speaker 1: early the next day shows how good of a friend
- 10:36Speaker 1: you are. Like, I try to really back yourself in
- 10:40Speaker 1: this scenario and be like, at the end of the day,
- 10:44Speaker 1: I didn't do this. Yeah, Like, I'm sorry you felt
- 10:48Speaker 1: like I outed you, but I was uncomfortable and I
- 10:54Speaker 1: couldn't control my reaction because I didn't know what to do. Yeah,
- 10:58Speaker 1: and I don't know why you That was the scenario
- 11:01Speaker 1: to say you fucked Gerald.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Oh my god, ha ha, guess what gave Gerald a gobby?
- 11:11Speaker 5: Sorry?
- 11:12Speaker 1: What? It's not the time, No, God, simone is upset.
- 11:20Speaker 5: I can't remember which one?
- 11:22Speaker 2: Okay, which one?
- 11:26Speaker 3: Wow?
- 11:27Speaker 4: Alrighty shall we move on to dilemma?
- 11:31Speaker 1: All right? Would you fuck a guy whose name was Gerald?
- 11:35Speaker 2: How hod is he?
- 11:38Speaker 4: But his name is Jerald Gerald Styles?
- 11:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:43Speaker 2: If Harry changed his name to.
- 11:45Speaker 4: Gerald, Harold and Gerald are actually kind of.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Would you?
- 11:52Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 11:53Speaker 4: Jerry, Yeah, let's rebrand to Jerry.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Jerry, Oh, Jerry, Oh yes, Jerry right there.
- 12:02Speaker 4: No, it doesn't work anyway.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Tried trauma best.
- 12:06Speaker 2: I sorry to all the Geralds out there.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Someone's cup team, Yeah, exactly, Poppies, there's.
- 12:14Speaker 4: A whole world of women waiting for you Gerald.
- 12:17Speaker 1: All right, dilema numbers about four women just waiting for
- 12:20Speaker 1: their Gerald.
- 12:21Speaker 5: I'm just a Gerald standing in front of a Lily
- 12:23Speaker 5: Poppy or Jessica asking.
- 12:28Speaker 4: Your tailor's oldest time.
- 12:31Speaker 5: All right, Donnyhill, reboot, let's go. We've got Gerald's game
- 12:35Speaker 5: and nodding Jerry, No.
- 12:37Speaker 4: That's about as good as the reboots are these.
- 12:39Speaker 5: Oh fuck, okay. Dilema number two.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Dilemma number two.
- 12:43Speaker 3: So my partner male has just moved out with two
- 12:46Speaker 3: other guys. He really gets along well with one of them,
- 12:49Speaker 3: who also has a girlfriend. So I was keen for
- 12:51Speaker 3: double dates. Obviously, let's call this guy John. They seem
- 12:56Speaker 3: to hang out quite a bit. My partner then randomly
- 12:58Speaker 3: the other night says, oh, and by the way, John
- 13:01Speaker 3: has a girl staying over.
- 13:02Speaker 4: Lol, bit weird.
- 13:04Speaker 3: So my immediate reaction is, wait, what is that not
- 13:06Speaker 3: his girlfriend? And he said, nah, she's an exchange student.
- 13:11Speaker 3: So I ask where is she sleeping, knowing they don't
- 13:14Speaker 3: have an extra room, and he said, oh, she stays
- 13:17Speaker 3: in John's room.
- 13:19Speaker 4: John, you dirty dog, there is only one double.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Bed in his room.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Do I have a blown play on the floor.
- 13:27Speaker 3: John, my partner, said, they seem strictly friendly, but they're
- 13:31Speaker 3: legit sleeping in the same bed. Is that not so weird?
- 13:35Speaker 3: I feel so awkward if I see the girlfriend. What
- 13:37Speaker 3: if she doesn't know? I would hate to be in
- 13:40Speaker 3: her shoes and I would want to know. But I
- 13:42Speaker 3: also don't want to put my foot in my mouth
- 13:44Speaker 3: and do the wrong thing here. I wish I never
- 13:46Speaker 3: got told to be honest.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I feel you.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Shit, I do think that is a little bit weird
- 13:54Speaker 3: to have, like another woman sleeping in your boyfriend's little
- 13:58Speaker 3: consistently little right, somebody's her kill?
- 14:06Speaker 5: Pero, there's been a murder.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 14:09Speaker 5: Is that how you say his name? I don't know Sherlock.
- 14:11Speaker 1: There you go, there's a detective perfect fuck.
- 14:14Speaker 4: No, yeah, that's really really weird too.
- 14:17Speaker 1: If Chris lived with two other guys and some girl
- 14:20Speaker 1: from overseas came and was sleeping bed with him death.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Well that's the thing, Like if it was just a
- 14:27Speaker 3: friend and it was because no, for me, I would
- 14:30Speaker 3: because Chris has a love.
- 14:31Speaker 5: Read enough friends to love his books.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Okay, no fucking way, You're not sleeping in bed with
- 14:36Speaker 1: another girl.
- 14:37Speaker 3: No, it was kind of in secret, and it's like
- 14:40Speaker 3: an ongoing thing, like why do.
- 14:42Speaker 1: You have an exchange student living at your hair girlfriend?
- 14:46Speaker 5: No?
- 14:47Speaker 4: Yeah, it's really really inappropriate.
- 14:49Speaker 3: I think you need to put this on your boyfriend
- 14:51Speaker 3: to speak to John and be like, hey.
- 14:54Speaker 2: John, does your girlfriend know that?
- 14:57Speaker 3: Yeah, that mate is sleeping in your What if John
- 15:00Speaker 3: just lies, well, then you've at least tried your best.
- 15:05Speaker 1: No, I'm not good at these ones because people are
- 15:08Speaker 1: a lot better at me than like not sticking their
- 15:10Speaker 1: nose where it doesn't belong, Whereas I feel like I am.
- 15:14Speaker 5: Not very good at not doing that.
- 15:16Speaker 1: And I would be like, yeah, really did you know?
- 15:20Speaker 3: Like, because well, do you have a relationship with this
- 15:23Speaker 3: girl as well?
- 15:24Speaker 2: Like are you guys friends?
- 15:25Speaker 3: Now?
- 15:25Speaker 1: I know you think you have to work out like
- 15:27Speaker 1: how close are you with John's girlfriend?
- 15:29Speaker 2: Because if you're really.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Close and like the boyfriend says, hey, does your girlfriend
- 15:35Speaker 1: know that this is happening?
- 15:37Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 15:37Speaker 2: And I feel like you.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Could probably float it like be like, oh, have you
- 15:42Speaker 1: met insert exchange girl's name here?
- 15:46Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 15:46Speaker 1: And if she's like oh, not really like bloh and
- 15:50Speaker 1: really doesn't seem like she knows anything.
- 15:53Speaker 3: I then yeah, try and like press her for more
- 15:56Speaker 3: and see how much you knows.
- 15:58Speaker 4: I've Yeah, but I probably would say something.
- 16:01Speaker 1: I'd probably say something to I just try to know
- 16:04Speaker 1: if that's like the right answer.
- 16:06Speaker 3: I would just try to get the steps there before
- 16:08Speaker 3: immediately jumping in and doing it.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Like I think giving people the opportunity to do the
- 16:13Speaker 1: right thing, you know, which you know, maybe she does
- 16:16Speaker 1: know and maybe he's not doing the wrong thing at all.
- 16:18Speaker 5: Yeah, maybe maybe she's like, oh no, I really know her.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Maybe the girl's not even into guys exactly, you know,
- 16:25Speaker 3: like maybe the exchange girl isn't like is gay or
- 16:29Speaker 3: asexual or whatever, so it's like not weird.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, like that could be the thing there.
- 16:36Speaker 1: But yeah, like I think there's there's a big difference
- 16:43Speaker 1: between hearing it from someone and seeing it and knowing
- 16:46Speaker 1: it's one hundred percent true. So that's like worth considering
- 16:50Speaker 1: as well, Like like what you're saying just because someone
- 16:54Speaker 1: might be comfortable with something and someone isn't. You can't
- 16:57Speaker 1: use what you would do in a relationship as the
- 17:00Speaker 1: rule of thumb as well, because maybe they have had
- 17:02Speaker 1: that conversation. But I think it's about like sussing the
- 17:06Speaker 1: vibe of whether that has happened. Because if I was
- 17:09Speaker 1: in that scenario and people knew about it and I didn't,
- 17:13Speaker 1: I would be very grateful to the person that told me.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
- 17:16Speaker 3: And that's what I always think, Like, what would I
- 17:18Speaker 3: want to know in that scenario? And you'd always want
- 17:21Speaker 3: to know the truth.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Because the best case scenario is she knows, she's like, wow,
- 17:26Speaker 1: what a loyal friend. Yeah, thanks Jessica, And I don't
- 17:31Speaker 1: know why every fake scenariojesh cap like that is just yeah,
- 17:40Speaker 1: like and then the worst case scenario, she's like what wtf. Yeah,
- 17:45Speaker 1: but then she also knows. Yeah, and maybe and you'll
- 17:49Speaker 1: probably get in a bit of shit for sticking your
- 17:51Speaker 1: nose in it. But at the end of the day,
- 17:52Speaker 1: I would think, would I rather be the person that
- 17:56Speaker 1: kept a secret from someone that they should have known
- 17:59Speaker 1: or the person who probably maybe overstepped a little bit,
- 18:02Speaker 1: but I did what I think is the right thing.
- 18:05Speaker 4: Yeah, Because like.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just a bit weird because it's not even
- 18:11Speaker 1: like it was like, oh, one time this happens, That's
- 18:13Speaker 1: what I'm saying.
- 18:13Speaker 3: It's not like, oh, you're on a trip with a
- 18:16Speaker 3: group of friends and then like you guys have slept
- 18:19Speaker 3: in the same bed one night kind of thing.
- 18:23Speaker 2: It's like this.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Random personal put a mattress in the living room.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Yeah, literally, yeah, get an air mattress, even if she
- 18:30Speaker 3: has to sleep in your room, get an air mattress
- 18:32Speaker 3: and put it on the floor.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Weird vibes.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it's a good idea of potentially encouraging
- 18:38Speaker 1: your boyfriend to talk to John first, though, yeah, being like,
- 18:41Speaker 1: hey does blah blah no, because yeah, it does sound
- 18:46Speaker 1: like the last season of White Lotus with like there
- 18:50Speaker 1: was like two couples and it was just very complicated
- 18:54Speaker 1: crossing lines. Yeah, and even more complicated because people seem
- 18:58Speaker 1: to clock it, but like no one said anything, and
- 19:01Speaker 1: so it's just this big thing that's in the air
- 19:03Speaker 1: that like gets bigger and bigger and bigger. I always
- 19:07Speaker 1: remember this like story book. This is such a niche
- 19:10Speaker 1: thing that we got read when I was like in
- 19:12Speaker 1: year one. Bear with me, I'm gonna need to try
- 19:16Speaker 1: and find it. And it was about this like rock
- 19:19Speaker 1: that this kid like keeps pushing around. Yeah, and it's
- 19:22Speaker 1: like a ball of mud or something.
- 19:24Speaker 2: I think you've told me this story.
- 19:26Speaker 1: I told you, And he refuses to let go of
- 19:30Speaker 1: this rock. And he keeps pushing it and pushing it
- 19:33Speaker 1: and over the book, it becomes this giant boulder that
- 19:36Speaker 1: he has to keep pushing and pushing around because he
- 19:39Speaker 1: refuses to like let go of it, and it then
- 19:44Speaker 1: becomes such a burden to him of something that was
- 19:47Speaker 1: small that refusing to do anything about it or let
- 19:50Speaker 1: go of it resulted in this weight that I'm like,
- 19:54Speaker 1: this sounds super deep for year Wine, by the way,
- 19:57Speaker 1: but this was the law of Lisid. I like, as
- 20:00Speaker 1: children's books have so much of that, this just reminds
- 20:05Speaker 1: me of that that It's like, you know, maybe at
- 20:08Speaker 1: the moment it's just this small thing of an exchange
- 20:10Speaker 1: student and there's nothing that deep to it. But you know,
- 20:14Speaker 1: the more that maybe this behavior happens, like is it
- 20:17Speaker 1: going to become that bolder? But that becomes this really
- 20:19Speaker 1: uncomfortable thing.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Yeah exactly, And that's not your burden.
- 20:24Speaker 1: No I toting like I wish I was never told ignorances.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Will say, yeah, well that is a rap.
- 20:34Speaker 4: That is a wrap.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Thanks so much today's chicks.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Chat pleasure, as I feel like we potentially dropped the
- 20:40Speaker 1: ball in that last one, but your writing was too funny.
- 20:43Speaker 5: Yeah, so ten out of ten.
- 20:45Speaker 3: No notes for that, and if you also want to
- 20:48Speaker 3: send us a cheeky little dilemma. If any of your
- 20:52Speaker 3: friends have gotten their tits out in front of Grandma Grace,
- 20:54Speaker 3: please email us with the link in the show notes.
- 20:58Speaker 1: And thanks for having us in Earholes Chicks.
- 21:01Speaker 2: We love to be here, love it.
