Transcript
- 0:00Welcome to World View Matters, discussing controversial issues,
- 0:07discerning current events, defending biblical Christianity.
- 0:12No topic, off limits.
- 0:15And now, here's your host, David Firazo.
- 0:19Almighty God and Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
- 0:23together we come before you in humility,
- 0:27as a people in need of your forgiveness, your mercy,
- 0:31your goodness, and your grace.
- 0:34For these 250 so years,
- 0:37our fathers in this Congress have prayed for your guidance and protection.
- 0:43And so we stand here in humble petition that you today might do the same,
- 0:49that this nation and its unparalleled constitution,
- 0:54your great gift to all freedom-loving people,
- 0:57might be renewed here and across this land,
- 1:00as a beacon of hope to all who seek peace.
- 1:04And that was an offensive prayer to a lot of people in America,
- 1:08surprisingly enough, maybe Pastor Jack Hibbs is our guest today,
- 1:12we'll get to him in a minute.
- 1:14But I want to thank some friends, by the way,
- 1:16he used some offensive words, the F word, Father,
- 1:20the J word, Jesus, and the L word, Lord, gasp.
- 1:24All right, so I want to thank some friends who've been donating to World View Matters.
- 1:28We are a non-profit, and I thank you, Tony and Michelle,
- 1:31from Lakeville, Illinois,
- 1:33and recent shout outs to Ohio, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Michigan,
- 1:37Toronto, Canada, Minnesota, Nevada, and Maryland.
- 1:40Thank you so much for keeping us going,
- 1:42and for just keeping us really moving forward in this podcast.
- 1:47We talk about some important issues, and ask some great guests,
- 1:50like Pastor Jack Hibbs.
- 1:51He's the senior and founding pastor of Calvary Chapel,
- 1:54Chino Hills, in Southern California,
- 1:56then founder also of Real Life Ministry,
- 1:59the president of Real Life Ministry,
- 2:01and nationally syndicated TV and radio host, Real Life Radio.
- 2:05We're so blessed to have him on.
- 2:06Thank you, Pastor Jack Hibbs, for your time today.
- 2:08Good to see you, brother.
- 2:09Good to see you, David. The honor is mine.
- 2:11God bless you. Thank you so much.
- 2:13Well, let's talk about those offensive words,
- 2:15why they were offensive in that prayer before Congress,
- 2:17and then we're going to get into your book,
- 2:18which I've got a lot of questions about your book today,
- 2:21and it's called Living in the Days of Deception.
- 2:24So, Jack, your prayer, first of all, thank you for,
- 2:29I understand you rewrote it, and thank you for, you know,
- 2:34just mentioning Jesus and really representing.
- 2:36So go ahead and share what happened,
- 2:38and why do you think it was so offensive?
- 2:41Yeah, number one is the fact that I was asked to open up Congress
- 2:46118th Congress in prayer, which our government has been doing,
- 2:51as I said in the prayer for some 250 years.
- 2:54So I was invited by House Speaker Mike Johnson to pray,
- 2:59and you have to be invited by a congressional member.
- 3:02And then you are then informed that you have to have so many words,
- 3:08and I understand, but you are to be gender-neutral in your prayer.
- 3:13Don't mention Father, because that isolates some people.
- 3:18If you mention Jesus, it's evangelizing,
- 3:20so you cannot do that.
- 3:22You can say God, you can say amen,
- 3:25but you gotta, you can't make it Christian.
- 3:30And so I agreed in advance to go to Washington and pray,
- 3:36because it's an honor to be invited.
- 3:38I had the high honor.
- 3:39This is my second time over my ministry career to be invited.
- 3:44But I have to tell you, David,
- 3:47when I flew into DC the night before,
- 3:51the Lord spoke to my heart and said,
- 3:54what are you doing here?
- 3:56What are you doing?
- 3:58And I knew exactly what he meant.
- 3:59I was reading my prayer,
- 4:01and it could be a Buddhist prayer.
- 4:03It could have been a Hindu prayer.
- 4:05It could have been a Muslim prayer or a Jewish prayer.
- 4:08It was non-descript, non-distinct.
- 4:11I was so convicted, David, I felt like throwing up.
- 4:15But yet I had to be at the Capitol at 8 a.m.
- 4:20And I rewrote the prayer.
- 4:23But here's what I did.
- 4:25I went to Google and I Googled historic prayers
- 4:29in the United States Capitol.
- 4:32Oh, my goodness, how far did you go back?
- 4:341774.
- 4:36Yep.
- 4:38I lifted some of those very sentences
- 4:42from preceding chaplains.
- 4:46And I incorporated them into my prayer.
- 4:50So, David, I can tell you,
- 4:52maybe a third of the prayer was my organic.
- 4:57Most of it was US history.
- 4:59Wow.
- 5:00That happened in our Congress.
- 5:03That's right.
- 5:04I delivered that prayer as you played a moment ago
- 5:08and I found out that in the first sentence
- 5:13before I hit a period that I had violated five rules.
- 5:17And it just went downhill from there
- 5:19because I later mentioned sin.
- 5:22I mentioned at the end that all those who are in authority
- 5:26will be held accountable for the decisions they make in this house.
- 5:31I was immediately condemned.
- 5:33In less than five hours,
- 5:35I was condemned by 26 congressional members
- 5:39who authored a letter of condemnation
- 5:42and an investigation into Mike Johnson's selection
- 5:46of this, listen,
- 5:48of this Jew-hating,
- 5:52what one of the biggest supporters of Israel?
- 5:55Some of my best friends are Jews.
- 5:57I'm a Jew-hater.
- 5:58I'm an Islamophob.
- 5:59I'm a homophob.
- 6:01On white supremacist,
- 6:03it just went down the list, David,
- 6:05and it hasn't stopped, by the way.
- 6:07By the way,
- 6:09there's been enough news out there
- 6:12whereby I'm not going to mention the firm right now,
- 6:15but there is an actual firm here in America
- 6:18that said, listen, with your permission,
- 6:20we'd like to sue these 26 members of Congress
- 6:23for a defamation because to discredit you
- 6:25at what you do as a pastor
- 6:27and as a host of a TV program,
- 6:29they actually have done damage to your reputation
- 6:32and we want to go after them on that.
- 6:35So we've not heard the end of it,
- 6:37but man, I've got to tell you,
- 6:38pray in Jesus' name
- 6:40in this republic,
- 6:42and you're in trouble.
- 6:44Well, let me ask a follow-up question about that
- 6:46before we get to your book,
- 6:48Living in the Days, D-A-Z-E of Deception,
- 6:51what would our great grandparents think?
- 6:54And what would our founding fathers think
- 6:57of this being offensive
- 6:59in our government, in our Congress?
- 7:02They never would have had the thought.
- 7:04It never would have crossed their minds
- 7:06because once again,
- 7:07I lifted from history what had already been delivered.
- 7:11And so, for example,
- 7:12if you look at the prayers of Jacob Duchet,
- 7:17if you look at the prayers,
- 7:19even prayers offered up by, of all people at the time,
- 7:22the governor of Massachusetts, Samuel Adams,
- 7:25oh my gosh, so biblical, amazing.
- 7:28And when I mentioned how we need the mercy of God,
- 7:33these were all things from our nation's history,
- 7:36but I can't tell you this.
- 7:40There were many members of Congress who greeted me
- 7:45with embraces and thank yous.
- 7:48I know for certain that three congressmen
- 7:52and women came up to me immediately after the prayer
- 7:55and said, and I quote,
- 7:57we've not heard a biblical prayer here like this in years.
- 8:02So, you know what, I'm good.
- 8:05That's sad.
- 8:06And that kind of is a good transition here
- 8:08to quote Mike Pompeo, former U.S. Secretary of State,
- 8:12about your book, he says,
- 8:14Pastor Jack gets it exactly right.
- 8:17If we lose our faith as a nation,
- 8:19we will not survive.
- 8:21We will lack the courage and certainty necessary
- 8:24to confront challenges,
- 8:26and we will crumble from within.
- 8:28And, Jack, I know that's kind of what we see happening.
- 8:32We're crumbling from within.
- 8:34We've been infiltrated in all the major institutions.
- 8:37The church is suffering because the biblical worldview
- 8:40is the lowest it's ever been.
- 8:43Quick overview on your book.
- 8:45If you want to comment on that on Mike Pompeo's thoughts,
- 8:49go ahead.
- 8:50Well, first of all, he's a friend.
- 8:52And he and I went to the same county,
- 8:54a school district, which is kind of fun.
- 8:58But listen, his statement's not only prophetic,
- 9:01it's actually present.
- 9:03It's happening now.
- 9:05And I thought, you know what, talk about deception.
- 9:08Who better than to address the issue of deception
- 9:11than the former director of the Central Intelligence Agency,
- 9:14Mike Pompeo, who of course went on to be the 70th Secretary of State.
- 9:19And a born-again believer who loves the Lord Jesus Christ,
- 9:22Mike was fantastic and generous in his forward.
- 9:26That said, we're watching, in fact, David, you know this.
- 9:31When was the last time you've watched media, news, whatever?
- 9:35And you heard someone, especially a Democrat.
- 9:38When's the last time you heard a Democrat say that
- 9:41we need to stand strong to preserve the Republic.
- 9:44You don't hear that.
- 9:46All you hear about is democracy, democracy, democracy.
- 9:50We're being ingrained to think that the United States
- 9:53is a pure democracy.
- 9:55It is not.
- 9:56The United States is a constitutional republic.
- 9:59But when you don't teach it, and then when you lie about things,
- 10:03that is a double-edged movement of deception.
- 10:08Don't teach truth.
- 10:11That's deception number one.
- 10:13Deception two is replace what you're not teaching.
- 10:18Replace it with something else.
- 10:21And thus the DAZ, the COVID world, the political realm we're in right now,
- 10:28and I believe the constitutional crisis our nation is in,
- 10:32is what has put people in the state of days.
- 10:35I believe, David, this may sound extreme to some of your viewers,
- 10:39but I believe it's true.
- 10:41We have a tendency to limit all's warning to Timothy
- 10:45that in the last days there's going to be deception,
- 10:48doctrines of demons and spiritual wickedness in high places.
- 10:52We think that that's limited to the pulpit or to the church down the street.
- 10:57My argument in the book is there's no limit to it.
- 11:01Satan, as the Bible says, Satan is the God of this age of this world at this time.
- 11:08He's out and about deceiving him.
- 11:11And he doesn't matter, David, if he deceives the governor, the city council,
- 11:16the pastor, the family, or the president.
- 11:19He knows no limits.
- 11:21And I believe that he is now sowing, and what you and I are reaping,
- 11:26in our culture today, are really the doctrines of demons.
- 11:30Transgenderism.
- 11:32The rise right now, oh my goodness, the rise right now,
- 11:36of the opening episodes of jihad happening in America.
- 11:41This is how it begins.
- 11:42On our college campuses, it's only going to escalate.
- 11:44Why?
- 11:45Disception.
- 11:46It's all deception.
- 11:48Yeah.
- 11:49Well, Satan is the author of lies.
- 11:51The father of lies, the author of confusion.
- 11:53I see what's happening on college campuses as a result of the indoctrination
- 11:57at the K through 12 level.
- 11:59They are doing what the school system has already been designed to do.
- 12:03They're putting out social justice activists, right?
- 12:06Satan, Satan, just like we are to make disciples and recruit people
- 12:09to the body of Christ to get born again through the gospel.
- 12:13Satan is doing a great job, and I'm not giving him credit.
- 12:16I'm just saying he's recruiting a lot of the best devil.
- 12:19He's the best devil they'll ever be.
- 12:22Yeah.
- 12:23So he's doing that.
- 12:24I mean, you write in the book.
- 12:25You talk about traditional beliefs on gender, marriage, law, deception.
- 12:30But I want to jump before we run out of time.
- 12:32This is going to go by very fast today.
- 12:34You make a point about the importance of tolerance.
- 12:36And you just, I think you just mentioned that tolerance has been redefined.
- 12:39And that's what the left does.
- 12:40They redefine language and words.
- 12:42And then they weaponize it and use it as accusations.
- 12:45Then we're playing defense like Christian nationalism, for example.
- 12:49So your thoughts on chapter eight,
- 12:51was raised by the deception of new tolerance.
- 12:54Tell us about that.
- 12:55Yeah.
- 12:56Number one, the word tolerance was defined by Noah Webster
- 13:00in his 1828 dictionary of English language for America.
- 13:05Y'all to get the book, everybody.
- 13:06It's available at Amazon.
- 13:08It's about this thick, but it's beautiful.
- 13:10It's the only dictionary that matters.
- 13:12And Webster says that tolerance is being able to with respect
- 13:17and with honor put up with someone else's view on something
- 13:22and that you agree, even though you disagree, that's tolerance.
- 13:27Not today.
- 13:28Tolerance is if you disagree with me, you are intolerant.
- 13:33Only my tolerance, my position, can be honored.
- 13:37And so what's happening today is if we stand up and say something truthful,
- 13:43if we hold to a biblical worldview value,
- 13:45if we quote or even paraphrase a Bible verse,
- 13:49we will be labeled intolerant.
- 13:51Why?
- 13:52Because it doesn't fit the new agenda.
- 13:54And the new agenda is to redefine words and their meanings.
- 13:58And so when you release yourself from the anchor or from the moorings
- 14:03of your foundations, you're on your own.
- 14:05You're a drift at sea.
- 14:07And so there's a concerted effort to do that.
- 14:10And we're fighting hard in our own community.
- 14:12In our last election, the word battles were taking place in our local school board.
- 14:17But we, listen, we made things known.
- 14:19I made the congregation aware that two George Soros funded candidates.
- 14:25Factually, we found this out to be a fact.
- 14:27We had come into the area and tried to run in our local school board and we raised the flag
- 14:32and exposed to the culture what was going on.
- 14:35And then we were labeled for being bigots and being intolerant
- 14:39when the other team had a concerted effort to destroy.
- 14:43That's right.
- 14:44So I want to encourage everybody.
- 14:45Take a stand, make sure you're standing biblically and know this.
- 14:49Jesus is still to this day the most hated individual that has ever graced this earth.
- 14:54Yes, he's also the most beloved.
- 14:56But Jesus said, listen, don't be surprised if you associate with me
- 15:00if the world hates you.
- 15:02Just make sure they're hating you for the right reason.
- 15:04And for the right reason would be truth.
- 15:06And the new tolerance knows nothing about truth at all.
- 15:10That's right.
- 15:11One of the headings in the chapter, the new tolerance dismisses absolutes.
- 15:16And one of the descriptions that I think I read on the website,
- 15:19the greatest antidote to deception is truth.
- 15:23By the way, friends, you can go to Pastor Jack's website, JackHibs.com.

- 16:46Back to Pastor Jack Hibbs and it's on Amazon as well, friends.
- 16:50And the book, Living in the Days DAZE of Deception is doing incredibly well.
- 16:55It explores the many ways that error is masquerading as truth and how you can discern the difference.
- 17:02Jack, before we run out of time, I wanted to ask you, you have strong opinions on the woke church.
- 17:09Thank you.
- 17:10And a lot of people are listening to you talk.
- 17:13And whenever I have certain pastors on, I get the same response.
- 17:16I wish my pastor would address dot, dot, dot, whatever.
- 17:19Prophecy, Israel, abortion, same-sex marriage, socialism, Marxism.
- 17:24But you talk about the woke church. Explain how you see this movement as departing from the biblical truths.
- 17:30And what gospel elements are being compromised with this wokeness.
- 17:35Well, first of all, did not the scripture warn us then the last days many would depart from the faith.
- 17:40And yet we're told that they would maintain a religious appearance.
- 17:44The scripture says that they're going to be deceivers, but they're going to deny God, right?
- 17:51But they're spiritual.
- 17:53So we have churches today.
- 17:56And you might attend a church and you don't know if it's a biblically new, based, New Testament church.
- 18:02Well, you're going to find out real quick by what the pastor has to teach.
- 18:06And what I'm asking all of you to do is go to church next Sunday with your Bible open.
- 18:11Take your Bible, please, to church with a notebook and a highlighter.
- 18:15And the pastor should be on fire with the word of God that he's delivering.
- 18:21And it should be chapter, verse of scripture.
- 18:24If you aren't being told that God wants you to just accept this and you know there's a new movement of foot.
- 18:32The spirit of God's moving in a different way without the Bible.
- 18:37Those are warnings to you to discern that it's time to get up and go.
- 18:41However, let me say this.
- 18:43There are pastors who have been beaten down.
- 18:45Maybe they came out as seminary.
- 18:47They were never taught what it means to be a watchman on the wall.
- 18:50What it means to be a shepherd of the sheep sacrificing your life for them.
- 18:54And that is trafficking and truth.
- 18:56Maybe some pastors are waking up and are saying, you know what?
- 18:59I'm going to take a stand.
- 19:00If my board wants to fire me, let him fire me, but I'm going to be truthful.
- 19:04Let me God, let me tell you, God will bless you so radically.
- 19:07Look, I'm nobody special, but I'm telling you my Bible special.
- 19:11And I try to hide myself, David, in the scriptures.
- 19:14And I don't want to go to the pulpit unless the word of God has caught fire inside my own heart.
- 19:19That's going to take a long time.
- 19:21A pastor seeking God, the church is going to take care of itself.
- 19:26Jesus will see to it.
- 19:27Exalt his word, exalt his name, and Jesus will actually shepherd his own church.
- 19:34Sometimes there's a lot to overcome for pastors, because if they're going to some seminaries today,
- 19:39some have dropped the belief in an inerrancy of scriptures.
- 19:42Some teach a lot about church growth and how to maybe attract a crowd to build a big following.
- 19:47But like you said, they don't talk about maybe Bible prophecy or other things that are biblical issues.
- 19:52That the people need to be equipped on, right?
- 19:56Bible prophecy, addressing sin.
- 20:00Making certain that no matter what your message is,
- 20:03your preaching, that you make sure that you get the cross and the empty tomb.
- 20:08That Jesus died for our sins on the cross, and that he rose again from the dead for our justification.
- 20:13That there's no hope without him, but there's all hope with him.
- 20:16Amen.
- 20:17And you can be teaching anything from any book of the Bible.
- 20:20Just make sure that the gospel is always in your message.
- 20:24But yeah, Bible prophecy, more than ever, Bible prophecy needs to be taught.
- 20:28A lot of our seminary graduates have never been taught Bible prophecy.
- 20:33But we need to make sure that we're presenting the true gospel, which is this, very simple.
- 20:37Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, simple.
- 20:39Repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.
- 20:43That's the gospel, but it starts with repentance.
- 20:46If your church is not teaching repentance or if you're not speaking repentance pastor, you need to get with it.
- 20:52You need to repent and you need to get back to the foundation of God's word.
- 20:57There's still hope for America.
- 20:59It's not it's not in Sacramento where I'm at.
- 21:02And it's not in Washington, DC.
- 21:04It's not in the state house or in the White House.
- 21:07The only hope now is so evident.
- 21:09The only hope for America right now, and we're running out of time, is in God's house, area.
- 21:15And we need a sense of urgency.
- 21:18And I thank you for your voice and all the people that, you know, we've been able to talk to rob elbows with, so to speak.
- 21:25We're talking about the book, Friends Living in the Days of Deception.
- 21:28It is on Amazon.
- 21:29It's on Pastor Jack's website, Jackhybs.com.
- 21:32Jack, your book talks about the dwindling freedoms and increased persecution of Christians.
- 21:37And, you know, we kind of are losing the idea or just about being salt and light.
- 21:43Those are biblical concepts.
- 21:45And I don't see enough of that with Christians influencing culture.
- 21:49I see the culture influencing the church more.
- 21:53We've got a lot of work to do.
- 21:54As you said, yes, we need revival.
- 21:56Your thoughts on that and how can people remain true to their faith?
- 22:00Speak up regardless.
- 22:02We can't control how other people react to either the gospel or confronting error or these biblical issues in our culture.
- 22:11We need to talk about them.
- 22:13So again, I speak to the pastor, but by doing so, I speak to all believers that are watching right now.
- 22:18Jesus said in Matthew's gospel, let your light so shine before men.
- 22:21The word men is generic.
- 22:23It implies unbelievers.
- 22:24Let your light, let your witness so shine before an unbelieving world.
- 22:29That when they see your good works, that's a reference to the day of judgment.
- 22:32They will glorify your father, which is in heaven, translation.
- 22:35Live out your faith, biblically based, righteously, in an unrighteous world, that in the day of judgment,
- 22:42the unbeliever is going to have to confess to God that Jack and David announced the truth way back then,
- 22:48and I didn't listen to them.
- 22:50Are you willing to be so biblically right that God uses you to not only bring people to the kingdom,
- 22:57but he's also going to use your witness to actually be the condemnation on the day of judgment of the lost?
- 23:03We are not here for how many likes or how many Facebook friends we can gather.
- 23:08That's ridiculous.
- 23:09We are here to get the approval of one.
- 23:12And if we do that, again, we traffic in spiritual matters.
- 23:18Let God be God, obey His Word, and get up and do Christianity, because Christianity is a non-spectator faith.
- 23:27You've got to be involved.
- 23:29And when you do, you'll see the power of God.
- 23:32When you do, you'll see God answer prayer.
- 23:34When you do, you'll see miracles.
- 23:36When you see that when you step out and take on the school board or the union,
- 23:42that's clearly attacking biblically sound things or life, whatever it is,
- 23:49your values or freedoms, biblically based, stand up and say, no way.
- 23:54Then God will show up.
- 23:56A lot of people say, David, I've never heard God speak to me.
- 23:59Well, maybe he doesn't need to speak to you.
- 24:01You're not doing anything.
- 24:02Step out and you're going to receive information from high command.
- 24:07He's going to leave you and guide you.
- 24:09Amen.
- 24:10The Word speaks.
- 24:11The Word of God is living an active and sharper than a double-edged sword.
- 24:14We just need to get it in us.
- 24:15And I love your point.
- 24:16Audience of one.
- 24:17Who's approval are we seeking?
- 24:19Last question, Jack.
- 24:20Maybe, unless we can squeeze more in, but you end your book on a hopeful note.
- 24:24And we need to do that these days.
- 24:26The people being overwhelmed and believers really being disheartened by what's happening
- 24:30in our country and our culture and our government and everything else.
- 24:33Could you talk about how faith and hope provide guidance and navigating the crazy times
- 24:41we're living in?
- 24:42We've got to keep grounded in the Word.
- 24:44Yeah.
- 24:45So good, David.
- 24:46God's Word, if we'll read it, faith comes by hearing, hearing by the Word of God.
- 24:52You cannot separate faith from hope.
- 24:55When you have faith in the Word of God because God's sovereign, he's true.
- 24:59And he's doing a work right now.
- 25:01You have hope because God's Word's true.
- 25:04You know that this is not our home.
- 25:06We're going to go home someday.
- 25:07That this is not all there is.
- 25:09There's an eternity that awaits.
- 25:11When you realize this from Scripture, you get galvanized by the truth.
- 25:16And what happens is you go out into a world and here's what's fun, David.
- 25:20If we win or lose the local battle, we always win in the end.
- 25:27We always win in the end because God's Word is written and we're going to stand before the Lord.
- 25:32And there's only one thing that the believer is going to be judged on.
- 25:36One thing.
- 25:37Were you faithful?
- 25:38Were you faithful to what I asked you to do?
- 25:41He's not going to talk about anything else and read your New Testament.
- 25:44Were you faithful to what I called you to do?
- 25:46Don't bury the light under or put it under the bushel.
- 25:49Let it shine.
- 25:51Go out and do righteousness, which is doing the right thing.
- 25:55Effect your culture.
- 25:56Tell people about me.
- 25:58We have such an awesome calling.
- 26:00We have such an awesome mission that when we finish, we get to hear these words.
- 26:05Well done, that good and faithful servant.
- 26:08There's so much hope.
- 26:10In fact, there's endless, ultimate, unmitigated hope for the believer, especially at a time like this.
- 26:17These days of battle are the days of victory.
- 26:20I wouldn't trade this moment for anything.
- 26:23Yeah, you know what?
- 26:24Our great grandparents or people before their time might not have been able to handle our time.
- 26:29And we are here for such a time as this.
- 26:31We've all been given a sphere of influence.
- 26:33And we need to remember, we can't control the results or someone else, how they respond to the gospel.
- 26:39And that's on them, but we are responsible to get the word out.
- 26:43Jack, thank you for writing this.
- 26:45We need some clarity in these days.
- 26:47D-A-Z-E, living in the days of deception, friends, jackhibs.com.
- 26:51I'll just give you another opportunity.
- 26:53We have about 30 seconds, Jack, just to encourage those who might need another nudge or push to just make sure they're living their faith.
- 27:02You know, Monday through Saturday as well as Sunday.
- 27:05Real simple.
- 27:06Number one, get in the word of God.
- 27:08Start in John's gospel.
- 27:09Start reading the Bible.
- 27:10The second thing is, ask every day, dear Lord, fill me with your Holy Spirit of fresh for today.
- 27:16Give me the power to live out your Word today.
- 27:19And when you read His Word and when you ask Him for His power, the rest of it is all up to Him.
- 27:25David, I leave every day to the outcome to God Himself.
- 27:29I do my best and I commit the rest to Him, and His grace will make up the difference.
- 27:34Do your best under God, commit the rest to Him.
- 27:37Jack, thanks, sir. God bless you.
- 27:39God bless you, David.
- 27:40Thank you for the opportunity.
- 27:41Praise God.
- 27:42Good podcast, Lord.
- 27:44Just thank you for the people I get to talk to, the guests I get to be encouraged by and hopefully equip and edify and encourage our audience.
- 27:52Friends, God bless you.
- 27:53Thanks for sharing the show and as always, keep speaking the truth about things that matter.
