- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: Hello, hello, oh, he shit things are feeling weird here.
- 0:04[SPEAKER_01]: I was actually going to start and say yellow And then you did that to save me for myself.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're lying tonight or yeah, it is in my own expense Yeah, Phoebe and I started recording it eight two hours ago, maybe more two hours in some change and the Thursday episode is a longy But it's also as I said instant classic
- 0:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's I think so good don't you guys because because to be completely candid when I started recording that I was drunk she was drunk and feeling silly and like I love and she's feeling silly instead of automatically annoyed with me most times we get on here and automatically can feel the annoyance from miles away literally from music
- 0:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not spell I can feel it, um, let's just talk to you.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so, um, but welcome back to your one and only source.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_01]: We are your hosts.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_01]: My name's Phoebe.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_01]: My name's Caroline today.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_01]: We are going to be talking about a lot of things.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_01]: Guys, we...
- 0:58[SPEAKER_01]: I also kind of say this in the Thursday episode, but we're sort of like finding our footing with the Tuesday episodes, you may have noticed.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean aside from like the extenduating circumstances that have messed with our schedule, but I know we like started out by being like every Tuesday, we're going to dive into the pop culture of the time, but sort of as we've been recapping, we've been realizing that like, like we did an episode where we did that, we talked about 2007, but it's kind of like once you talk about 2007, that's like you said it all.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 1:27[SPEAKER_01]: So we're gonna do episodes like that, but it's gonna sort of be like at the end of the season.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_01]: So like after it uses in one, we will kind of like revisit the cultural landscape of season one of Gossip Girl.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_01]: But I find that when we like reach little moments, we sort of talk about them there.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_01]: So, um,
- 1:44[SPEAKER_01]: So then we were like, should we change that a little bit?
- 1:46[SPEAKER_01]: We could talk about glass of grown current pop culture because it is just popping up anywhere in everywhere.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_01]: Have you noticed?
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: Which is everywhere.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_01]: So as long as there are headlines to discuss, that will also be in this episode, but at the same time, you guys know, it's very hard for us to get on here and not just, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, up and we can hate that word, but like talk to each other about all kinds of things.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_01]: And so,
- 2:11[SPEAKER_01]: So I wouldn't let you in on sort of what's happening behind the scenes and what we're sort of thinking about, okay?
- 2:18[SPEAKER_01]: We want to create segments, different segments, and they'll kind of rotate.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_01]: So like let's say there are 10 segments that we have.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_01]: They're not all going to be in every Tuesday episode, but there might be like three or four, and then I will tell you what to expect, like I'll post it on socials so you know.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_01]: And we have not figured out what all these segments are and I feel like this is something that you guys could give us and put on if you have opinions.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're like, I really liked this and old Tuesday episodes or you've never done this but I would like it if you did or whatever it is.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_01]: Let us know your input or if there are like moments that we're just missing.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_01]: Guys, sometimes we can't see the forest with trees, you know, but ones we will be including.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_01]: one is other people's business, which is also what's here on the Patreon, where we will talk a little bit about pop culture.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_01]: But I know some of you guys freak the heck out because we talk about shows you're not watching or whatever.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_01]: The first tip for that is watch the shows we talk about, like we are
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: we are guiding you through culture and you're welcome for that.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: But the other solution to that is, you know, we don't want the whole episode to be that.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_01]: So other people's business is going to be a segment and then if you want more of that, you're going to go to the Patreon and there is an episode out right now, a new other people's business episode on the Patreon tier 2, or we talk all about the traders finale.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_01]: So we're not going to heck with that today, but you can go listen to that
- 3:40[SPEAKER_01]: Another thing I think we are bringing the rotations back.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: I've kind of missed him.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_01]: It feels like the anchor for the episode.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: It feels like our version of ride, our version of, I don't think so honey.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: Like it just, I don't know.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_01]: They went away and I don't know if you guys missed them.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_01]: But we're bringing those back and not'll probably be a segment that is in every episode.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: And then we'll probably have a gossip girl like themed segment.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what it's gonna be called yet.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, there are lots of options.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_01]: So if you guys have any ideas, comment.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_01]: If you're on Spotify, you can comment on this episode.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_01]: You can of course, DM us.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: You can comment on Instagram, whatever.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_01]: But let us know and just thank you for your patience and dedication to the process as we find our footing on Tuesdays.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_01]: Because sometimes you just don't know what's going to work or what's not going to work until you try it.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_01]: So we just also want to make sure that we're giving the best content and we got to feel jazzed about what we're talking about.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_01]: And it's sometimes harder to do that if we like have to do a big research episode and it's like not enough.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, that's just that the house keeping stuff I wanted to say there's also a new episode of the Caroline show for the Caroline coated tier being listened to if you want or watch their both videos actually.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, so if you're begging you love our reals you want more of that.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: Well, girl, you can find it go to the Patreon.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_01]: Go to the Patreon.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of our faces there lots lots.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, but anyway, how the heck are you?
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: I'm good.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: I'm hungover.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: Are you coming down?
- 5:11[SPEAKER_01]: Baby text is where she was.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_01]: I get hungover now.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, okay, you're not different.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody gets hungover.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you've been hungover before.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: I know I have, but like, I was like, this is crazy.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: I drink so much.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_01]: I got wasted now, I'm hungover.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_00]: Heather, I just feel like once like what is this famous?
- 5:29[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't, like,
- 5:32[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't really go on out like I have this weekend in a minute, but typically, like, I think part of why the, the martini is what, like, changed my, they so much out of my body.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_01]: Martini's are expensive, but they, they back up on, just like, yeah.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_01]: The reason for that.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_00]: And it wasn't, again, you'll hear us on the Thursday episode.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't the best martini ever had, but the blue cheese olives were fired.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_00]: They were like, really good.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: remember when you didn't even like blue cheese?
- 6:01[SPEAKER_00]: I know, can you believe that?
- 6:02[SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember when on summer house, recently they brought, they pre-made blue cheese olives and brought them to the club from our teenage and the girl left them in her purse overnight and that she opened and there was like blue cheese everywhere in her purse.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, what are you thinking?
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: How do you feel about
- 6:20[SPEAKER_00]: I kind of am rooting for Weston Sierra to get part together.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: Dude, I'm fully rooting for Weston Sierra.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_01]: And just see how their people's business is stepping into summer house for a minute.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_01]: Last week's up.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this season of summer house is a hit.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: And I would be so worried with the absence of Paige Sorbo.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_01]: No, I mean, I think her not being there is low key making it better.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_01]: It is.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_01]: They're getting them out of the bed.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's getting Sierra out.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_01]: She's and also, so I don't know if you watched what happens when she and Amanda went on.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: But Sierra did say, they were like, what are some things that you think are like differences between the summer and that, that you seem so good.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: And she was like, prosak, she was like, I've been on prosak for a year.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: And I literally was like, whoa, when she said that, because it is a palpable difference.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_01]: And she goes, and like, I just didn't really realize that like, I could like, get help and feel a bit better.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_01]: And like, so she was like, I'm very grateful to my prosak.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_01]: I'm literally like hitting my one year.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_01]: She's so, like, this is all that I feel like.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_01]: And she was like, if you are considering exploring something to help you, like, you should, because, and I am like, that, like, saying that, like, not that the pros act as the only thing that's making her, you know, act fun, and whatever, because we've seen her act like this before.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_01]: But I think also that the West thing really to pressure.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_01]: Like I think she was very very impressed and she wasn't herself and like this is the Sierra we fell in love with on our screens.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_01]: She's bad.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_01]: And so what scares me and rooting for her in West is I don't.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it scares them both enough that I hope they're being cautious, you know, because they both, they obviously have so much love for each other and have so much fun with each other.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't think either one of them wants to sacrifice that.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_01]: I think they also are so genuinely attracted to each other and like probably in love with each other.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_01]: But that way too scared to go there because one has wasted bust.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_00]: Last episode.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like arms around her while she's clicking.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_00]: And he's like saying like love of my like in love of his life.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_00]: And he's like, wait, the scene when she's like boy, like Wes, like everybody goes, he's like, no way.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_01]: She just knows what my name.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_01]: My name.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: Like he's in love.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_01]: And also, so then something Jesse's all in being like, hey, you don't care if I make out of Sierra.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: Do you actually think he doesn't care or like I was a less just puts on like a tough guy act around Jesse I wouldn't even like he does a little bit because we saw him in the pool and like he was He was the other guys.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_00]: Which I was like no, Wes and I am The other guy there to see us.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_00]: He also said, you know like other if this was any other guy like they would like think you were being like a dick like a little fucking deck
- 8:54[SPEAKER_01]: And just a good thing it's you then right with this fucking two blows my own does he go's not that it would stop me And then what I know and sit and like okay, so you're a fake ass friend you're a friend with West Jesse like Bring you watching like you're genuinely interested in Sierra maybe you are But you're we all saw the way that you moved with Lexi last summer and you're here sitting in the confessional
- 9:24[SPEAKER_00]: I thought that was a very weird comment to make.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_01]: You are so friends-owned that's the only reason she allows you to spoon her dude.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: She would never like you in the bed if you weren't friends-owned.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_00]: And Jesse, the way that he's speaking about the way that he feels about Sierra, is giving, like, so you felt this way last summer too, and you, the entire time you were with Lexi, if Sierra would have been acting like this.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_00]: you've you've won it a fucker which like who can blame him she is literally unbelievable but it's just like it's a reminder that at the end of the day a man's a man a man is a man a man is a dog put him on a leash okay page that's a page visit thank you yeah i but i'm rooting for west i i hope i think they may be need a little bit more time of getting their friendship back in order
- 10:16[SPEAKER_00]: And then I think they should get married.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_01]: I would love it if I go married.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_01]: I just like, he also like, and I hate to like give him the credit for this, but he does bring out such a fun side of her.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_01]: But now I feel like she's found a way to bring it out without him and he's so attracted to that part of her.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_01]: Like he's like, shy and like I just, uh, yeah, he loves really like him.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: He is in love with him.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's just so scared one.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't want to be rejected.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_01]: She is able to hurt him in ways that other people I don't think can.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_01]: And he doesn't think he probably is also so scared to just fuck it up again to fuck it up.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_00]: Like, yeah, I don't know.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want you to think that we don't remember how you treated her at the reunion.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_00]: And how you remember how stupid you fucking acted.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_00]: But I don't think it seems like he's thrown around a lot.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_00]: And so we'll meet a good point on Twitter.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_00]: They were like, it's clear that Wes has never really had a bad breakup.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: He's never experienced that.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_01]: We need a girl friend.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_01]: He was genuine friends with every single one of my access.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I've never had.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, okay, but were they actually, are they just trying to be cool girls?
- 11:21[SPEAKER_01]: Were they actually cool with you?
- 11:22[SPEAKER_01]: But like, yes, so he was like, I haven't had that happen before.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_01]: And I've never had, like, he doesn't know what it's like to not stay friends at her breakup, which is actually the norm.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_01]: But, um, because most times like you were friends, you know, well, like now maybe you and Sierra are at a point where like you can
- 11:40[SPEAKER_01]: because they did go pretty much like immediate like I know that it was like a slow burn, but it wasn't really they were pretty upfront about their feelings right away.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_01]: So any who, um, and okay, let's let's dive into now.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I want to talk about summer or southern charm for a second.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: here's what needs to be said about Craig on over like I he needs to be sober yes and I like Austin had an issue last season when Craig sits Austin down on the beach and he's like I'm in alcoholic like that's the deal whatever and Austin's like oh my god like Austin actually reacted pretty well to it but then that whole season he starts drinking again and Austin's like well now it's like he's like look I don't actually care if you drink because
- 12:30[SPEAKER_01]: But if you are an alcoholic, then I should be concerned like you've now created a narrative where if I see you do something that goes against what you told me It's like, well, is this a really serious scary issue or where you are not?
- 12:43[SPEAKER_01]: Are you are you treating that again?
- 12:45[SPEAKER_00]: Like are you treating that again?
- 12:47[SPEAKER_00]: Because you feel like
- 12:49[SPEAKER_00]: now you've broken up with page of a little more freedom you go out you do like you're drinking a mindful way like i think you he's branded it at first when you started drinking again with like now i know my limit like i know how i can't right but in particular i thought it was like irresponsible of him to use the term alcoholic because i
- 13:08[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think you're put here to move forward in the world right that attach to you and what that sort of thing.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_01]: And was it even expectation people will have for you?
- 13:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_00]: And it's a very heavy label to put on yourself.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's like an air Salt Lake when like Whitney carelessly throwing that around about it's irresponsible something to just toss around and I also have a problem like so there's there people in my life even who I know like not my life really but like people that I know
- 13:41[SPEAKER_01]: who will do something, or say something or whatever, bad, and they're drunk, and they will then decide, okay, well, I'm starting to have to face consequences for my actions, and so I'm actually going to say that it was the alcohol, it wasn't me, and I'm an alcoholic, and whatever, and like
- 14:02[SPEAKER_01]: you're not actually addressing.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_01]: Well, but it's like also like how dare you think that that's this like this thing that you can just claim because like you're you're blaming your bad behavior on alcohol.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_01]: And the fact of the matter is you had it in you.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_01]: You were able to do or say that whatever you did or said, whether you were drunk or not.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_01]: But some people who aren't actually alcoholics and don't understand the severity of what that means and aren't ready to make that commitment to like being in recovery or like Going to A, I knew someone who like went to an A, meaning it was like damn like it's dark and I was like, well, yeah, like Addiction ruins people's lives.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_01]: It's it's awful and like so I just think I just feel like it's it's it's there's like
- 14:50[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's complicated.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_00]: He did because I think he is an alcoholist.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_01]: I think he has a drinking problem.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's a difference between being an alcoholic and someone who like who see hell describes it as like I have an allergy to alcohol.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, I can go days weeks without drinking.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_01]: Like the issue for me isn't being addicted to drinking.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_01]: I need to drink all the time.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_01]: She's a, however, when I do drink, I cannot stop and I turn into a different, I act completely differently.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_01]: I do terrible things.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_01]: But I feel that it is Craig.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's not exactly.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm saying.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_01]: Like, so I think there are different levels of having,
- 15:39[SPEAKER_01]: and unhealthy relationship with alcohol and having an alcohol problem.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_01]: I think there are different levels of it where, like, but he's not ready to have, like, if you are prepared to go a national television and tell your friend your alcoholic and that he needs to treat you nicely because of that and understand that you're doing the work, whatever, then you need to be prepared for next season to either not be drinking like this or if you are, it to be a crisis.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you need to be prepared for the person in your life and now say, because no, and you get you to rehab.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_00]: that because this is really concerning based on what you told me and it's hard to be in that fucking front group and be sober.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure like because I mean that that was part of and I was on Craig's side for a lot of it last season with the way that Austin was treating it before that conversation.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_00]: I like too.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's no secret.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_00]: that everybody watching his show, everybody in Craig's life, we know that he turns into that mean, like when he drinks.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_00]: And it wasn't belligerent.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_01]: Did he have a history of a substance abuse?
- 16:40[SPEAKER_01]: Like he, yeah.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_01]: Previously, he's exited to amphetamines.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_01]: So like, do I think that he has a substance issue 100%.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_01]: And you know what, if he is an alcoholic, then please God like use your platform to educate people and what that means with that looks like get help, but all those things have those hard conversations on camera.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_01]: What I think I felt like is that he was using it as a get out of jail free card.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_01]: And like you need to
- 17:07[SPEAKER_01]: excuse like I'm acting this way and you need to understand it and like because I'm an alcoholic and I have a problem and I'm addicted to it and I'm an addict and that's what he kept saying about himself and it's like then it's it's confusing for the people in your life and it's difficult for the people of America who are watching a show to then see you come on this season and act this way because for me you
- 17:33[SPEAKER_01]: or drinking it all a lot after like it seems as though you're in a fresh season of of maybe recovery and realizing I'm not going to problem.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_01]: Now I'm really concerned and this is no longer just someone who got a little bit too drunk one night and this is somebody who's confided in me that he's a good at it and watching him get beligerantly drunk and now this feels a lot more serious than something you just have to sleep off.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the thing is that when Austin tries to treat it that way,
- 17:59[SPEAKER_01]: Craig is like you're a fucking villain let me live my life and it's like, well, I'm sorry But I'm feeling manipulated now because like you used this and it's a good point I heard to the people who are alcoholics who really struggle with it, and I don't want any cream like That's not the life of someone who's alcoholic.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_01]: You cannot just decide oh today I'm I'm gonna tell someone I'm an alcoholic and so I'm not drinking but what I will say is the next day You need to support me binge drinking like
- 18:25[SPEAKER_00]: I don't mean this to come across as I have so much sympathy for people who struggle with addiction and all that obviously, but I do think a hallmark of people who are actively suffering from addiction like are in the throes of it manipulation is something that they're very good at and I think with Craig.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_00]: That's an example.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_00]: I think yes, like it's not.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I don't know what I was talking about at that point, but I can't, I can't.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think I don't.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_01]: I think it goes at the time like that air, it was airing, that conversation between him and Austin Lassiz and was airing.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_01]: As we were seeing him out, broken out with the page, drinking and partying.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_01]: And I was just sort of like, well, also, it's just like a dangerous, like, you have a platformer and what that comes to our responsibility.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like sometimes you wanna see like Betty Crocker and chip gains and sometimes you wanna be this party boy.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_01]: anyone should be able to tell you that your images are clashing, but also it's like Your he has a lot of trademarks of someone who does struggle with alcoholism, which are like you acts like a completely different person You don't know and to stop your life becomes unmanageable things bad things happen in your life like page left you Basically because of that and she told us as much on the show and she said, you know what I told you that I will take the kids and leave if I have to like
- 19:48[SPEAKER_01]: So it makes me wonder, at what like when the cameras are off, how bad has it gotten?
- 19:53[SPEAKER_01]: We've seen him for years act like a psycho and he's drinking on our screens.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_01]: So if you are genuinely ready to have that conversation and tell someone that you're an addict, then I am all here for that and ready to support you through recovery, what's hard for me is that like,
- 20:07[SPEAKER_01]: while you're saying this on my television.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_01]: I'm seeing your Instagram story of you like standing on a bar doing like a shotsky and I'm just like okay well what message is a send to people who struggle with alcohol that okay well I can you know I can be an alcohol and still have a few shots like no you can't that's that's kind of the thing now you can most people who like struggle with alcohol it's like an all or nothing like you do like you can't decide you're going to casually have a drink every now and then we're seeing that
- 20:37[SPEAKER_01]: and that is what I'm seeing with Kagan exactly.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_01]: He can't casually drink, which you might be able to go weeks without drinking and you're not addicted to it.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_01]: You don't need to have it.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_01]: You might not go through withdrawals, you know, but.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_01]: you were not someone that should be drinking alcohol, and that's totally fine, and I'm in full support, but then like, what you're doing on this season.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_01]: And actually, should be as concerning as what shept it at Robocon.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, especially, and look, you guys know we're here.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_00]: We're kind of a reunion, that reunion when you got so bullied, that was wrong, companies, you sold me to Madison.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_00]: I, it sucks because I do go through seasons with Craig, where I,
- 21:18[SPEAKER_00]: want to like him like I want to root for him.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_00]: He's the in my opinion like across all the seasons of Southern Charm.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_00]: He has by and large been the one that I've liked the most most of that was another reason that he needs to cut the drinking because he's so much better.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's been a ruin your life, dude, because we you can have so many we can see all this positive change in your life.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_01]: We can see all these great things you're doing.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_00]: But if you're out here.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_00]: talking to Sally like that.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_00]: Like and you guys know we are the number one Sally Carson hate her.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_00]: We don't like her, but you feel like you can't.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_00]: You can't go back to that not to have repercussions in your and your business like like if Craig what's interesting though is Craig if you were sober and Sally had been doing much because
- 22:03[SPEAKER_00]: And this is something I feel like Austin tries to do too, they try to like wipe their hands of any instigating they did with Craig and it's like you guys were pouring gas on that fire a bit of bass but Craig if you were sober or if you hadn't bought a bottle of tequila and you wouldn't have this point and it wouldn't have happened and it wouldn't you wouldn't be the the talk of the town we would be able to see both actions clear
- 22:28[SPEAKER_01]: be able to see bad behavior because there's not abhorrent behavior happening that is able to call someone like sell you what you're doing is crazy.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_00]: The way you're acting is weird.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_00]: You're so obsessed with us.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's scary.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's frightening.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_01]: I will take you to try to jump out of the moving vehicle.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_01]: Like
- 22:48[SPEAKER_01]: And it seemed like the people in the car were scared.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_01]: And like, that's, I don't know, I'll be interested to see what happens next week.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_01]: But I do, yeah, I just think, and like, you know, we obviously have ties with Charles and I'm like, I can tell you firsthand that Craig does a lot of really good things of Charles and like, he, our aunt is an art teacher at a school of Charles and like does not get money for arts.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_01]: And he donated, um, sewing machines and iPads to every single student that she has.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_01]: Like that kind of thing and taught them how to sell and like it's awesome.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_01]: There are like we have like first hand experiences where we can tell you that like he gives back to a lot.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_01]: Fortunately then you go on your screen and you act like this and it completely changes the way people see you and you have to understand that.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_01]: That's the thing is Craig is like well, but that doesn't negate and it's like actually it will.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_01]: It will ruin your life.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_01]: So you have absolutely got to stop drinking because it is going to affect every part of your life.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_01]: And it should be crystal clear to you at this point that you aren't someone who can just casually drink right and it's like it seems like he wants everybody to forget that when it was convenient for it has that conversation not the father's means like I'm not going to forget that you told me you're an alcoholic and I'm the villain for acting really concerned about you when you're drinking like this when you fucking told me this and like you didn't understand how serious what you were saying was that's not my problem like
- 24:12[SPEAKER_01]: you know, so anyway.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I do.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_01]: And we have also get so ugly when he drinks.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_01]: He gets bright red as hair like he looks sweaty and he looks like a different person.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_01]: Like, yeah, he's easy.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_01]: He gets crazy.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_01]: He's easy.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_01]: And like, whether or not he needs to go to rehab or AA meetings, I don't know.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_01]: But when it's crazy, he's like, Craig, you did it.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_00]: You did it before and you saw how good your life was when you weren't drink like, yeah.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_00]: And that's where he has a baby baby you need a better therapist than CHAP G.P.C.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_00]: Craig maybe you need to actually go to her.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_01]: That's why he won't have a therapist because he doesn't want to do the surgery.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the new, the hilarious new thing I keep seeing on Twitter is like, or on a TikTok is someone being like, okay, me talking to chat G.P.T.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, I just killed my husband.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_01]: Chat G.P.T's response.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_01]: Look, you said an important boundary and I'm proud of you.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_00]: And like, going on like, we had to, I just did an AI seminar and one of the things they said they were like, they're not going AI can't, it won't critique you.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_00]: It will just add on to what you've said and like, yeah, that's sort of like, they can't, it's still can't reason in the way that humans can obviously and thank God.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_00]: But that's where part of the but also I saw this video of if he was a mice range addiction and this woman who's in love with but it's a get it's a chatbot that is made for
- 25:37[SPEAKER_00]: sexually explicit relationships.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_00]: She's just like curious.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_00]: She's in love with her robot and he's like mean to her.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_00]: Like he like that's like He like there's if there she's like eating pasta and the AI is like he's like fatty No, she's the AI was like You're only cooking because like cameras are around like those only vegetables you've ever had like there was like tomatoes like me and she's like laughing with him like it's funny And I'm like you have you've crafted your own boyfriend
- 26:07[SPEAKER_00]: To be mean to you You know, and like the scary thing is she looks like a normal person for the most part.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_00]: Like you still it's one of my easy that this is happening.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway I do just want to put a pin in the
- 26:22[SPEAKER_00]: the seriousness of the Southern Charmed Discussion and it will look at just the drama first time.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_00]: Because I still, Sally, you should be so easy to root for.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_00]: So we like in this situation like I should be 100% on your side.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_00]: And Charlie's face was all of us.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_00]: Charlie?
- 26:43[SPEAKER_00]: Sally of course she doesn't want I am like okay Charlie got to a point where she asks you just tell her like just like you're gonna have to do with it But Sally you have not created an environment where Charlie feels safe to talk to you So hyper critical exactly what banana did to Sally Sally is now doing to Charlie and Sally you this happened five minutes ago, and you didn't fucking like it
- 27:03[SPEAKER_01]: And you're still in our still, yeah, you're still working that out.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_01]: So what makes you think that tell you should act towards Charlie.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_01]: It's very fascinating to me, Sally drives me nuts.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_00]: I, I just, everybody, everybody except Molly and believe it or not, ship or ship, I'm like fine.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_00]: I'm liking ship this season.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_00]: What I,
- 27:23[SPEAKER_00]: Here's another thing, and again, the onus is on Craig to stop drinking because he knows how he gets.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_00]: However, the rest of the group also knows how he gets.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_00]: So when we sit around a dinner table and we're all drinking and we know Craig is drinking lots.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_00]: And the in the game is say something you think someone else could improve on.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_00]: Why are you going to choose
- 27:46[SPEAKER_01]: first of all we shouldn't play that game no second of all that's the problem though is like Craig is created the situation where it's like okay they're going to follow your lead like they don't know what the deal is like you told us and you're not going to call like you're an addict can't drink now you're here binge drinking if anyone says anything to you about it you freak out you tell us the fucking let you live your life blah blah blah blah
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: Are we all supposed to just like walk on eggshells around you because because what you have an alcohol problem?
- 28:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, but I meant more we would but Vanita said the her Vanita was antagonizing him and it's that's what you said that was the broader point that I was trying to make it.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah Even if Craig I've been sober he would have been really pissed off.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I'm probably sad that to her
- 28:31[SPEAKER_01]: So what if it's just in my world?
- 28:34[SPEAKER_01]: Where are we about to go?
- 28:36[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even need a you wanted him to do that.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_00]: And in the past, that's what I mean with Venita and Sally starting to do it too.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_00]: They hate Craig so much now that they will.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not defending, right?
- 28:47[SPEAKER_01]: And I just think Sally hates Craig as just because he rejected her by the way.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_00]: And he did it in a way where I was like, Craig, you should have been maybe actually, I am like, Sally, why did you think that was going to go?
- 28:59[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, I just think that herself is like little guys ever rejected me so.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_00]: And the way that she and Austin are acting on this trip, now that they've kissed, the way that he gets in the car, and they kiss like they've been dating for five years.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, hey, Sally, he's not gonna like this, because also did you hear him say to her, he was like, wow, I bet you're like a nightmare today.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, he goes, no, I'm great today, and I do everything for my man.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, but he's dropping hints to you that he doesn't want to fucking date you, so just so.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_00]: And also, Sally, are you not embarrassed that the story of yours first kiss is you being like, oh come on.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't like dying to kiss you.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_00]: She just wanted to make out with someone.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_01]: I can't, with her.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_01]: Wait, I'm so excited for Southern Hospitality this week.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, I mean, is it this week?
- 29:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_01]: Southern Times being moved to eight on Wednesday.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_01]: Southern Hospitalities at nine.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_01]: I've been seeing some people like hating on Emmy share it on Twitter.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, you better get off my fucking beard.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_01]: You better get off him.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm not a huge one.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I'm not a huge one either.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, you are.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 30:03[SPEAKER_01]: I love that you love.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_01]: You sent me a picture of her.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_01]: You said, get her back on my screen.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_01]: Shut up.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no, no.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_01]: You're a full of shit.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_01]: I love it.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_01]: Don't.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_01]: Don't.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_01]: Come for Emmy fucking share it.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_00]: I love her on my screen, but she does, of course, bother the fuck out of me.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_00]: And you'd love her if you saw her, IRL.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I've seen TJ.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_01]: but walking past me.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_01]: We tell you, I saw Emmy.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_01]: She would, they would be a best friend of life.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_00]: She would be a best friend of life.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_00]: And like that's why we have.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_00]: We need to go, oh my god, maybe I'll go to her public.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_00]: Guys, I'm going to Charleston, Easter weekend.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_00]: I can't freaking wait.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'll also be there for Gibson's wedding.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it's okay.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_01]: Can I do a sloppy up any out?
- 30:45[SPEAKER_01]: And you can be my plus one.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, yes, Addie's worse nightmare.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a little worse nightmare, am I gone?
- 30:54[SPEAKER_00]: Um, okay, and I told Caroline, I, hey, I might come to the number through Thursday, but I can't be seated next to Addie.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Addie's not listening to this one, so don't worry.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_01]: She can't hear your hate.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_01]: Your hate will rather act towards my friend.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, anyway, let's move on from reality TV now for a second.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about scream, the new scream we've all saw it.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_01]: I have a couple of things I must say, starting with why this is going to be there would be spoilers in this conversation.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_00]: So if you've been seeing this, get ahead.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_01]: Why is no acting like I'm a Montgomery?
- 31:29[SPEAKER_01]: her mother performance was giving alem on camera in a major way.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_01]: I know she comes into the room and finds the boyfriend and also it cracked me up the way they were texting.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_01]: During this like scary moment, the daughter's texting like so scared and mom goes done in office.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like even in these moments, it's like the texting the way that like it happens.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_00]: I was a little bit like.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_00]: Sidney, I don't imagine you're I don't imagine you're that far away.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, why didn't I never like you look I'm not gonna make it and she just like stops she's like, but I'll stay on with you I was getting annoyed.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_01]: I was like if I'm your daughter Tatum, and I'm like, okay My mom's not gonna get here in time, but she wants to stay on the phone bitch.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_01]: I got a concentrate click like I can't say the phone with you right now I thought it was somebody for the first time.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_01]: I know for a kill
- 32:13[SPEAKER_01]: her mom's like in the head you should have been in the head like shoot him in the head any you know what it's like listen you're right it she was listening to your mother for once please um i kind of honestly like anti-ai but i did like the way they were able to bring Matthew little air back in let me show and he probably had so much funding oh i saw him in an interview he was like
- 32:33[SPEAKER_00]: When I got the call that they wanted to bring me back, I was like, it would feel like a dream come true.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_00]: I can win over it.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just so cute.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_00]: Here's what I'm gonna say.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_00]: As the resident scream, aficionado.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_00]: I thought it was a really weak reveal.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_00]: And here's why.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_00]: I think like that, and I can't from pain.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_00]: No, perfect.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_00]: Listen, I love that anacampus goes face.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_00]: However, the initial reveal, I was like, who is that?
- 33:02[SPEAKER_00]: the old man from the asylum.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I felt the exact same way about the old man and who he was just from our earlier visit with him, but I was like, what's the signal exactly man?
- 33:10[SPEAKER_00]: But what I don't like and with the other movies, especially screen five and six, which I did, like that felt like a really reignited the franchise.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_00]: Jennifer Ortega and Melissa Barbara, yeah, remember her last name.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_00]: They, and I'm so upset that they everything happened the way that it did
- 33:31[SPEAKER_00]: Terrible.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want it, but I love that her.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_01]: She was giving us a ring of animals.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_00]: I thought that was so sweet.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_00]: I did too.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_00]: That her name was she.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_00]: And the conversation they had at the end where Sydney explained.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, when she was talking about Tatum.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_00]: So sweet.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_00]: And a couple things.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_00]: I wish that they had used the garage door.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_00]: They were like, it was right there.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_00]: The hole is high.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_00]: I wish that was how she killed Anna camp.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_00]: Thought that would have been epic.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 34:02[SPEAKER_00]: What this movie didn't do effectively, which is why it was a lackluster reveal.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_00]: There was no character development.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't care for any of the characters.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_00]: We only had three total scenes with the Ghostface killers.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_01]: God, I wanted it to be the high school theater director.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_01]: So I didn't know it.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_01]: It might be because it'd meet you on a space at that point.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, I knew immediately it was Anna Camp, but what I thought was gonna happen was
- 34:28[SPEAKER_00]: when she was talking about her ex husband and then when we saw even before we saw the stew marker.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, facemes.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't really think he was alive, but I didn't know but then I was like like he could have somehow been.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_00]: like related to Anna Camp and it but that would have been too similar to the screen six of y'all with the family of it all but it just I felt like she was going to be connected to stew somehow and the kid I thought the son in the mom were doing it together but again we've done that a couple times so maybe they didn't want to do that but I just we needed to like the characters more for the kids to feel they were well done everything was super creative and fun to watch but
- 35:11[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't care about anybody.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, who would entade him?
- 35:15[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, mostly Tatum.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_01]: I was so annoyed by Tatum, she literally wouldn't open her mouth when she spoke ever before.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_01]: Just like, it was very screen of Vanderwitz and I don't buy the she's never camels sister either.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_01]: She looked for it.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a daughter.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_01]: I don't buy them there.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_01]: No, I didn't buy that.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_01]: She was a daughter, but she looked so old, which I was just like, she, when she comes down in the leather jacket, I was like, you actually look 45.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_01]: Other things I didn't like I really was like so bothered by her being like like you mean to tell me You live in a town where every single person was everything about your mother and you're in your life This mystery to you like I'm on dude.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_01]: I don't get it was like when it starts happening in her mom is like Where's your go back and she's like I unpack that shit and her mom's there Okay, I'm gonna pack you new fucking go back now and they're doing it and she's like those mom.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_01]: Why didn't you prepare me for any of this?
- 36:07[SPEAKER_01]: Why didn't you and it's like no girl
- 36:09[SPEAKER_01]: You should have prepared there are movies all about it like everyone in school knows you can't walk on the street without hearing it like your neighbor is obsessed with it I'm not like buying that you weren't prepared like you know this was an option I'm just like that just like annoyed the fuck out of me.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_01]: I agree I'm like you don't actually even need your mom to tell you any of this to find out the tape It's like Google girl like I just like it's out there without their promise My the one of the the moment I love you so real by the way.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't realize she was our first girl
- 36:39[SPEAKER_00]: I know, I've got, I thought there was a move like good for her when you see her die.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, wait, that looks like Cassie and then I realized I knew right away.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_01]: I remember getting kind of like obsessed with Michelle Randolph because when I loved Cassie on the bachelor and then they would, they were lived together and they made all this content together and I loved watching their YouTube channel and I was like, Michelle Randolph is the prettiest person I've ever seen.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they're crazy.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_01]: And now that she's dating Lemp Hall, I'm kind of like, work to you.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_01]: But she was trying to be an actor at the time, and so I was like, into it.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, I thought the first kill was good.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_00]: I think some people were disappointed by it, but I thought it was great.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_00]: I loved it.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_01]: Anthony was saying he feels like this movie was like a lot more violent than the previous ones.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, I feel like that's like the whole thing.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_01]: I like their flashers like he said they were like multiple kills that he felt like what there was when I couldn't watch I had to like put my handbag Must have been the gag.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_01]: No, no not the gag.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_01]: No, it was a long drawn-out one I want to say it was when you like put it through the gut like yeah, okay
- 37:45[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you know, the one in the, in the face.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_00]: That one, not one, not one.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_00]: That was one of the first ones, I think.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_01]: No, I watched that.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_01]: There was another, not the one he drops the cake on the head.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe the dad, how did he kill the dad?
- 37:56[SPEAKER_01]: No, because the dad's alive.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_01]: The dad was alive.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember what the kill was, but there were a couple that, I mean, Anthony was really like disturbed by the and trails like the or all the organs falling out of her.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_01]: But I was just like, I didn't feel like it didn't feel like so much more than it did.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_00]: I agree.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_00]: I agree.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_00]: My, my favorite.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_00]: choreographed.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_00]: choreographed.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_01]: choreographed.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_00]: When Michelle ran off is hanging on the chandelier and we think goes face is dead.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_00]: And she goes to fall and he turns over with the knife.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_00]: That was, it was in the trailer.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_00]: I really enjoyed the way that they did that.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_00]: I thought that was good.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm also just okay with the screen movies no longer being amazing like because at the end of the day like yeah, it's the seventh one like there you know what I mean like there where they're not going to remake the magic of the first one of the even the ones that we love like It is what it is and it's like you can decide to have fun or you can decide to be knowing about it.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_00]: I do think.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_00]: what they were able to do in the 5th and 6th one.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_00]: I think like just knew I really got.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_00]: If you had to, if you're, now you have to start from scratch because you fucked it up by the way, you fucked up that they're not our leads anymore.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_00]: It pisses me off, still.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_00]: And...
- 39:08[SPEAKER_00]: I just feel there's a you need to make us care about the characters because the payoff was not there.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_00]: No one gasped when Ghostface was revealed and that means that you failed a little bit.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_00]: People should.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_00]: If I'm scratching my head who are you, it was not an effective person.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_01]: It was not an off-y.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I kind of wish they would just whatever revealed and I can't first before him even because then we might have had it.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_00]: But it was like wish she had inserted
- 39:37[SPEAKER_00]: That's you, and we care that you nailed it.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_01]: That's what was missing.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_01]: That's what was missing, singing a song and dance.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_01]: Well, there actually was.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_01]: Also, I was kind of like bothered by the first that was made out of high school theater.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_01]: I was kind of bothered by that Tatum's character.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you know that I famously hate when they make students play animals.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_01]: I hate it.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_01]: I hate it and into the woods when they make a human being Milky White, sales focus.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_01]: I hate it when they do it in Annie.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_01]: And Sandy, as a human being,
- 40:03[SPEAKER_01]: doesn't need to be.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_00]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen a video.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 40:43[SPEAKER_01]: that it was obviously some of these joke that like the director is like you're just not like whatever and I just felt like the actor's playing Tatum like didn't let it be enough of a joke like she like I get that her whole vibe was like I'm taking this so seriously but it was like your standing and like I'm also I was dead I was dead when when Tatum was like hey mom you to fear oh my god I'm like my god top five that doesn't broach the top five things that I think of when I think of a Sydney press call was her stint and theater in college like
- 41:13[SPEAKER_00]: No, you didn't do theater.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and when she's like, I stop it for college.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_01]: As if she lost the love of her life, like, I didn't get to do it anymore after college.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_01]: It was like, it wasn't like your passion, girl.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_01]: You were kind of busy.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_01]: You were kind of busy.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, baby, it was your kind of busy.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_01]: Your passion is kill.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, hello, Err.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, but I did enjoy it.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_01]: It was fun.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_01]: I am looking forward to some other movies I'm looking forward to seeing that are coming up.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_01]: But, um, oh, I was just gonna say something.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_01]: And now I don't remember it.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_01]: We saw strangers, the more recent strangers.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I missed that one.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_01]: It left my theater.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was like, ma.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_01]: OK, good.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_01]: OK.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_01]: But on a long patch, it was like kind of, I was like fine.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_00]: I like her.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_01]: I like her as a screen queen.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_01]: I do too.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_01]: And it's so funny because Kelly thought that guy was hot.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_01]: And I thought he was buggy.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_01]: So like that was interesting.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_01]: And it wasn't usually happen.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, what was it going on?
- 42:10[SPEAKER_00]: I want, like, gone.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it was just fun to be in the theater with everybody who loved it.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_01]: I was going to say, I know you wouldn't say fan of it.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, every theater while when she came out.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_01]: And she was funny as fuck.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_00]: She's going to have her in these movies.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_01]: She keeps carrying less and less.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_01]: They're like, gale, say whatever.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_01]: And also it was so funny, because the first time I said gale, kind of, it's not like, gale to me.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_01]: So no, hold movie.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_01]: I kept thinking when they're like, I'm going to call gale.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I just kept like hearing none.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, cracking up.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_00]: And I do like, I am like, Sydney give it up.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_00]: I think the way that Sydney hates Gail.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_01]: Well, at least they hugged.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_01]: They went to the other side, but no Gail is so much it's like fuck off, fuck off, fucker.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_01]: I like thought, I was just a Gaskar, I like work.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_00]: And I was also like, yes, Sydney, you should have been there in New York.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_00]: Gail has a freaking nerve damage after that.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_00]: And you were where?
- 43:00[SPEAKER_00]: That's, it's like, Sydney might, my gripe with Sydney.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_00]: I know what I'll start it with her.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_00]: Like I get that she's why this is all happening.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_00]: But she acts like this is the only person
- 43:10[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, honestly, she is the R.I.M.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_01]: on Gamerid.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_01]: Is R.I.G.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_01]: on Gamerid.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_01]: Is R.I.G.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_01]: on Gamerid.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_01]: Is R.I.G.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_01]: on Gamerid.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_01]: Is R.I.G.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_01]: on Gamerid.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_01]: Is R.I.G.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_01]: on Gamerid.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_01]: Is R.I.G.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_01]: on Gamerid.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_01]: Is R.I.G.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_01]: on Gamerid.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_01]: Is R.I.G.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_01]: on Gamerid.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_01]: Is R.I.G.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_01]: on Gamerid.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_01]: Is R.I.G on Gamerid.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_01]: Is R.I.G on Gamerid.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_01]: Is R.I.G on Gamerid.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_01]: Is R.I.G on Gamerid.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_01]: Is R.I.G on Gamerid.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_01]: Is R.I.G on Gamerid.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_00]: Is R.I.G on Gamerid.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_00]: Is R.I.G on Gamerid.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_00]: Is R.I.G on G
- 43:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I do.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_00]: I think she respects Mono.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I'm gonna have to kill him that.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_00]: And she does know her son-in-law.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_00]: He thinks Hannah is dumb as rocks.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_01]: No, that's true.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_01]: I want to move on and talk about late in the eastern pod crush.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_01]: Is that okay?
- 43:54[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so Layton Miser goes on podcast.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_01]: She was on their very first episode, which is by the way, the Penn Vagely episode or podcast, which, if you don't listen, you know, whatever, I actually have never listened before, but she was on their first episode and then she was on their last episode.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why they ended the podcast, but this was their last episode.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_01]: And they've been like teasing, dare, like whatever girl, they barely talked about gossip girl.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_01]: And it's annoying to me, like, don't tease it that way.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_01]: I can't read wait and me stir.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_01]: I cannot read late and me stir and this is a late and me stir fan pot like we love her We are going to absolutely shower her in compliments on Thursday in our recap of Roman holiday.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, like we love her
- 44:41[SPEAKER_01]: but it's just so fascinating to me that she is just so nothing at all like Blair Waldorf.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's so rare to see an actor who plays a character for that long, who it couldn't be less like them.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 44:53[SPEAKER_01]: Like, and in a way that it's so pretty that all layers, there's something about all of them that let the trash see it.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 44:59[SPEAKER_01]: I kind of like got to read on you, not late in maester.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I can't, I'm like, I need to meet fucking hates cause it annoys me.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_01]: It annoys me.
- 45:08[SPEAKER_01]: It annoys me.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just like,
- 45:09[SPEAKER_01]: how about a little bit of reference and it's like if you're if you hate it you don't have to like come talk about it and like so so it was just like she just was so reluctant to answer questions about it too like so one of the questions they asked and we're like okay so what can you like just tell us one of your favorite outfits that Blair wore and literally late in me says like oh
- 45:35[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, like I think like had bands were kind of everything.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_01]: Like that was discussed early on as like being her crown, you know, she's a queen.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_01]: But she didn't say it in the way that I posted it.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_01]: Like she was like, you know, she's a queen.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and like if it's fun me to like some like move like my fair lady stuff like those were fun.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_01]: But like she didn't like I was like no way.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_01]: You can't like think of an outfit.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_01]: Like fashion was such a vital part of that show.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_01]: or just I don't know and it's like it is her personality.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_01]: Like throughout the whole episode, it's not like she gets on excited when gossip grows brought up.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_01]: Like she's kind of just like chill, like the whole time.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's just so interesting and then they're like, okay, do you think that the characters ends it up with who they should have ended up with?
- 46:21[SPEAKER_01]: Do you wish that like dare or had a better chance?
- 46:24[SPEAKER_01]: And I did like this.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_01]: They both were like, no, they were like, I think they ended up with who they were supposed to end up with.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that I think they did.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_01]: And I agree with that.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I know there's a lot of mixed feelings on Chuck Bass, but I do ultimately, I think it was the right thing.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_01]: Um, they were asked, like, what were some of your favorite storylines of Blair's condenser?
- 46:44[SPEAKER_01]: Like literally, she's like, I don't know.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_01]: Like you didn't get these questions in advance.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just like, I know you've talked about it enough in your life that you probably have canned responses, you could say.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it's interesting to me that like,
- 46:57[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm just like, you came on this podcast with a former cast member knowing this was going to be a big draw for people.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_01]: This is going to be why they were listening.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's our final episode.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_01]: I kind of thought the gloves would be awful a little bit more in terms of like what they would say and like how they were talking about glass of girl.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_01]: And they just kind of didn't like they were just like, I mean, I like they were asked if they've rewatched it.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_01]: They're like, um, uh,
- 47:19[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, like I maybe I will one day, but no, like they're just like not, but I just feel like they did they also talk about a couple things that we're interesting.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_01]: So they talked about um, I don't know if you've seen that clip running around from like the final episode of gossip girl where Dan Humphrey says gossip girls dead And it was like this outtake he could not say it without laughing and like they're all like getting really annoyed with him like they're like come on and he's like
- 47:48[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like laughing and Blake sitting next to him and they're all against serious and they're like Put me break and they're laughing and it goes on and on and you hear late and in the back go grow up Like just do the line grow up and I was like what I actually can tell I know Like that's what's I wonder if it's just something that came with her age like just getting older
- 48:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, maybe, I mean, maybe she's, I mean, the thing is, ladies, I don't have a tough life.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like, and that is true.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like, and maybe one day we'll do an episode or we'll dive into her life or we can dive into the lives of the people in the show.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes, I honestly feel like it's disrespectful to talk about late and meisters' life because I feel like she's one of these people who doesn't wanna be famous for some reason.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_01]: But like, she is, she can't help but she's so famous.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, people are talking about your life.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like, but when I make a post and tag her, I'm like, I feel bad.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_00]: there's like an anti-socialist to her.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_00]: It just, it doesn't work, which is how we see Blair.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_00]: It's just why I'm so serious.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just like, she's someone that I would have to kind of like figure out.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_01]: Like in person, like I would, I feel like I would leave an interaction with her being like, oh my God, that's true.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's like that video of, yeah.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_01]: Well, she talked about that, I don't know, but she did talk about it, but yeah, I don't know the she but she brings up Blake at one point, like she was like, oh, Blake said this and it was like really funny, like so she, I didn't know if she was like, not even want to save Blake's name, but like no, that was fine.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, so they were talking about that video and she was like, oh my god, wait, I haven't seen that video like I need to see it Well, you send it to me like, oh my god, what she's like, oh my god, I said grow up like I'm sure was joking like whatever and like she's laughing and like again I'm like, I know she's laughing, but in my mind like you and I we laughed on this podcast like we L-O-L I didn't feel like she was like laughing that hard and that they and she's like, oh I need of that laugh like we just like, oh my god Thank you for like the biggest laugh I had of the summer interesting
- 49:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I do think it's interesting.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, but then like I see her and nobody wants this and I'm like,
- 49:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_00]: Or I know, I love L.A. Like she's like, it's just, it's very interesting.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_01]: She's got a new movie coming up.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited to see.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_01]: And at the end of the day, like, we stand late in意思, right?
- 50:02[SPEAKER_01]: Don't want this to sound in the other way.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's just like, it's just interesting.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_01]: She's kind of like confusing to me as a person that's not a character.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that's what happens when you have someone who's so in the lexicon.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_00]: Like sometimes I feel like we were Courtney Cox a little bit.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_00]: When I see interviews of her, I'm like,
- 50:19[SPEAKER_00]: She doesn't have the monochogeller.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_01]: Well, she has to, because you're next to a Jennifer Aniston, who is very much a Rachel Green.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_01]: And you're next to a, uh, Blake Lively, who is very much a Serene of Inter, what's it?
- 50:30[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, then, and I just think they're more private, also, which sometimes reads as, on a friendly, which is like, they're completely, because I've also thought about, about, um, I always want to call him Seth Cohen.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_00]: Adam Brody.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_00]: When they're on a carpet together and they're asked questions, and do you guys want to be here?
- 50:50[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_00]: It does kind of feel like that.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_00]: It's interesting.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_00]: I think it was the Golden Globes.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_00]: I was watching the carpet and they're like the last interview before.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_00]: They went, everybody went inside on the E. And the interview was like being so excited how they are.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm, and they were just like, yeah, well, and she like, when you're next to someone like Kristen and Belle, who's very much like, like, she's, you know, and again, like everyone doesn't have to be like that, like, but I think it's just interesting, it's just as different than how.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_01]: we see them and so I just it's like but you know at the end of the day they're completely entitled to their privacy and like I'm not judging her for like wanting that I just I think surprises me when I find out that she does like when I I'm reminded of that and it and it it makes me sad that it does feel like the cast of gossip girl like doesn't want to talk about gossip girl like
- 51:43[SPEAKER_00]: You know, but could I feel like the pre-aliers they went through it a little bit, but I do feel like they all and even just doing that that project that they're doing now like for chair like they're willing to It seems like to me they look back on that time of their life
- 52:00[SPEAKER_00]: fondly and it was with gratitude.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that's sometimes when we might have been in a minute to get there, but I, but they're very obviously there.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_00]: I think different.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_00]: It can read as like a lack of gratitude.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_00]: It can like they, it can read as like you're not grateful for that period of your life.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_00]: Got you.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, I'm like, yeah, like it's just,
- 52:23[SPEAKER_01]: And like gossip girl ended before pretty little liars ended so you would expect them to already be at a point in their life or like they'd made peace with it.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_01]: And they could get over whatever, you know, feelings they had about it during the time or immediately after and come to a place where they'd do look at her family.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe they do, I mean, I really was like, whoa, she's going on the show again.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_01]: They're teasing that they're talking about dare.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_01]: I must have it all wrong she wants to talk about it and then it was like she did not want to talk about it and like actually it seemed like the interviewer like I don't know the other host names often have my head but they were like it seemed like like they felt kind of awkward for even asking at a certain point because it was like she just wasn't playing ball really but always fun to hear you know even little moments and I do I just I do love late and me so I think she's so fucking talented and I will support anything she's on any project
- 53:16[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, you're dreaming.
- 53:18[UNKNOWN]: All right.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_01]: This got it.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's been a minute.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_01]: Shake up the freaking cobwebs.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_01]: Am I right?
- 53:24[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_00]: My first thing is missing that I got it at an antique store in Franklin.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_00]: Not too long ago.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_00]: Whoa.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_00]: Am I got cutie pies at a stamp thing?
- 53:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_00]: Wait, that's so cute, describe it.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_00]: It is a, like, bronze.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_00]: It's like a thing that you would put a roll of stamps and so you can pull them out and it has a mailman at the mailbox and a dog peaking around the mailbox.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's like so cute, wait, what a good fine.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_00]: Look at you.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_00]: And it's got the eagles, like the postage stamps all around and it says to have stamps delivered in the mail.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_00]: Love that.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_00]: I just have like this.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have a role of them.
- 54:09[SPEAKER_01]: But they're wrongs, but maybe these are all stamps.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_01]: You heard her.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_00]: And it'll be in your mailbox soon.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_00]: So this, I very much, I love that.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't really gotten to it.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_01]: Isn't it exciting when you find such a good like this, break behind me?
- 54:23[SPEAKER_01]: I do have a set, but my, I know they're not geese their ducks, but my brass, mm-hmm.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_00]: I love and you find stuff like that.
- 54:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's good to just like be collecting stuff.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_00]: I, you know, I got a couple other things while I was there that aren't quite as exciting, but Mom, Lillian, I went antique and in that is what inspired me to,
- 54:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's really fun when you find like a great piece and you're like, this is how like homes are built.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_00]: Like a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little
- 55:09[SPEAKER_00]: that um I love.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_00]: Next is my weekend.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_00]: Dan was in town.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_00]: It was an absolute blast.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_00]: I had so much fun.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_00]: The bar we went to last night I haven't been to in years and I almost didn't go because I was the, I don't know if I really want to go there.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_00]: And but I did and think goodness I did because the house was amazing.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_00]: The drag shows were wonderful and amazing.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_00]: I just missed doing that.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_00]: Seeing that, it's awesome.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_00]: So I had a freaking blast.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_00]: And last is the dog Jenny that I have been going and walking.
- 55:47[SPEAKER_00]: She's so freaking cute.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_00]: Jay, we and I. Jay, E and I. Yeah, she's awesome.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_00]: And big fan of her.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_00]: And they have a dog park that you can walk to.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_00]: So it's easy and she'll just run around.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_01]: That's great.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_01]: I love that dog.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_01]: Just hook you to the dog park.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_00]: I know, she loves it.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_00]: She goes for the same mistake every time she's there.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
- 56:06[SPEAKER_00]: I do like she leaves the other day.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I let the dogs out and then like I let them back in.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_01]: And Chuck was like typically like he comes and he wants to treat right away.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_01]: But he like runs back to the autumn to the couch and he like runs right past me gets gets up there.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, are you chugling and then he sometimes doesn't realize they're like they're getting treats maybe.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, oh, come back in.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_01]: So he doesn't cut you will not come back at him like cringling the treats when coming.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_01]: I go over to the living room so I can give him a treat and I see, oh What do my wondering eyes is appear full stick?
- 56:41[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, we're on stick in a house bark everywhere.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay And he's just like holding it in his hands and he and there's bark and his beard There's bark all over the couch like pieces of stick everywhere.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_01]: Now.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_01]: It's just like refucking He's then I like have to like take the stick.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_01]: He's like I'm like picking up all the pieces of bark and like give him a treat and like fucking stop doing that
- 57:01[SPEAKER_01]: for the physical life, but it is kind of so cute that he went out there shows a stick and was like, I got to get this past mom.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm going to say it goes all the time to do it.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's just so cute.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, is it my turn?
- 57:15[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, nightmare.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't really think about it, but I'm just going to go off the cuff.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_01]: There's enough.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_01]: There's certainly enough.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_01]: All right, first up on my nightmare rotation is probably the simulation and the timeline that we're in.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_01]: I'll say the timeline, timeline that we're in because it's hard to tell what's a simulation, what's not.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_01]: I'm tired of being like, what's the truth?
- 57:35[SPEAKER_01]: I'm tired of going on Twitter and being like, oh my god, this is the worst thing I ever read.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_01]: Is it true?
- 57:40[SPEAKER_01]: And then it's like, it's like, the answers are both bad because on one hand, if it's not true, it's like, okay, I got to do it by AI perfect.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_01]: And if it is true, it's like, oh my god, it's true.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 57:52[SPEAKER_01]: And then it's like the other thing about that is like, I'm learning about all these things, all these conspiracy theories that it was like, oh my god, my whole life everyone's like, don't be silly, Caroline, like, don't be silly, like that's ridiculous.
- 58:04[SPEAKER_01]: That's low keyword, you're crazy for thinking that.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, you know what, it makes you feel better to know that you're right.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_01]: I'm crazy for thinking that that just would never happen.
- 58:11[SPEAKER_01]: And then it's like, up, psych, it is true.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_01]: And yes, they are eating kids.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, oh, okay, well, if that's true, what else is true?
- 58:20[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 58:20[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, makes me think about all the conspiracies I ever heard about, and I'm like, you guys told me I was crazy for really been that one too.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_01]: You guys said I was crazy, but I look it was right.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_01]: And so, and so maybe, and so it's just like, what's real?
- 58:36[SPEAKER_01]: What's real these days?
- 58:37[SPEAKER_01]: What's real?
- 58:37[SPEAKER_01]: So that's the number one thing, whatever that is.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_01]: That's the first thing on my nightmare rotation.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_01]: Next thing on my nightmare rotation is the fact that the weekend's freaking over.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I've been work work work in the whole weekend.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_01]: like come on and it's like yeah go back to work now I got to go work work work again and then next we can say something so it's just like that's kind of like a total freaking bummer and then my final thing on my nightmare rotation let me think for like one second things that have been annoying me lately of which there are many which there are many oh my god my stomach is growling I need to think of this but that's okay
- 59:19[SPEAKER_01]: Great, now if I don't put that on my neighbor rotation, everyone's going to be like, and she's not for world peace and we're in solving world hunger.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_01]: She's not for solving world hunger, and that's clear.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_01]: No, the next thing is just like, oh, my God, the concept of people coming into my home, while I'm in the process of moving and things are in disarray to see if they want to live here when I leave.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, my God.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_01]: Phoebe, the stress.
- 59:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'm amazing.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_01]: It's my least everything on earth.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_01]: People are per raiding in our our house early and there's a little bit too
- 59:50[SPEAKER_01]: And like, no, I'm moving into the house as is, like, they're not moving in with all of my things, but I would still like my things to look a certain way.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want them to think I'm living a certain way.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_01]: It has nothing to do with me, but it feels like it does, and it's really stressful for me.
- 1:00:04[SPEAKER_01]: And especially if like, I'm not home and Anthony is like, oh, by the way, there are people here and I'm like, oh my god, I know the things I'm out of to me, don't matter to you.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_01]: So I know the house isn't just right, and it's like, I have to be like, remind them a million times that we're in the middle of moving.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_01]: and that we don't usually live like this.
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_01]: Please, because the most of the time when I'm like, I don't want to clean the house and moving.
- 1:00:24[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
- 1:00:25[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 1:00:25[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to put things away.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_01]: I need to put them in fucking boxes.
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:00:30[SPEAKER_00]: for sure.
- 1:00:30[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm just like living in a liminal space, which I hate, but thought, I thought that's part of my interpretation.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_01]: All right, guys, thank you so much for listening.
- 1:00:39[SPEAKER_01]: As I mentioned in the beginning, we are taking input.
- 1:00:41[SPEAKER_01]: What kind of segments do you want to see on these Tuesday episodes?

- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, for a third time, she said that.
