- 0:29Speaker 2: here's Jen.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Good afternoon everyone, and welcome to this episode of Cats
- 0:33Speaker 3: and Pudding and today.
- 0:35Speaker 4: I have a great, great, great guest, my friend Johny Tobacco.
- 0:40Speaker 4: Here he is, look at him, Look at.
- 0:42Speaker 5: This super great sound drunk.
- 0:50Speaker 4: But I didn't say I didn't use his other.
- 0:54Speaker 5: Huge Well, I don't want you to call me. You
- 0:58Speaker 5: you know I.
- 1:00Speaker 4: Has all the contexts right.
- 1:03Speaker 5: Not in my way, but call me.
- 1:07Speaker 4: How are you doing them?
- 1:08Speaker 2: So happy to have you.
- 1:09Speaker 5: Yeah, thanks for having me.
- 1:10Speaker 6: I heard so much about the cats and Footing and
- 1:14Speaker 6: I don't know if I'm the cat pull what.
- 1:19Speaker 5: Does that mean?
- 1:21Speaker 3: It's just it's like if we talk about everything from
- 1:25Speaker 3: cats to pudding. And basically the book name came about
- 1:28Speaker 3: because I.
- 1:30Speaker 7: Was just sitting in my house one night, eating pudding
- 1:33Speaker 7: out of a pot and like sitting with my cat
- 1:36Speaker 7: on my lap.
- 1:37Speaker 4: But I'm like, this is what my life has, bets
- 1:39Speaker 4: and pudding. So I'm like, you know what, I'm going
- 1:42Speaker 4: to call my episode and call my.
- 1:43Speaker 6: Podcast kill a title, and you know, like the psyche
- 1:49Speaker 6: of America right now if you ask me, is you know?
- 1:53Speaker 6: I think the governmental apparatus and the media is trying.
- 1:58Speaker 5: To de live people so much. But I think people.
- 2:01Speaker 6: Who just connect with other people that are like them
- 2:05Speaker 6: and say like normal ship like yeah, I think I
- 2:11Speaker 6: think that's kind of at the hard way people need
- 2:14Speaker 6: to be when you try to talk to audience to
- 2:16Speaker 6: say I'm the regular.
- 2:18Speaker 4: You know what, don't you feel like that?
- 2:19Speaker 8: Now?
- 2:19Speaker 4: It's just it's it's you want to.
- 2:22Speaker 7: I think most people are in the middle right or
- 2:24Speaker 7: the way of thinking, don't you don't you agree with that?
- 2:27Speaker 4: And it's just each shot.
- 2:30Speaker 7: I think that one side is at the point where
- 2:33Speaker 7: it's like you have to agree with them, agree with them,
- 2:35Speaker 7: agree with everything they cite, or you're canceled.
- 2:39Speaker 5: No, totally agree with you.
- 2:41Speaker 6: As you know, I am on a center right cable
- 2:46Speaker 6: news network.
- 2:48Speaker 4: And what network is that we could.
- 2:49Speaker 5: Talk well Newsmax TV. I don't know if they're allowed
- 2:52Speaker 5: to say.
- 2:54Speaker 6: You can say whatever to show call wise guys, and
- 2:57Speaker 6: we kind of take a lighter look at politics. And
- 3:00Speaker 6: one of the great things that news Max lets me
- 3:03Speaker 6: do is go out and do a lot of man
- 3:04Speaker 6: on the street and I go.
- 3:05Speaker 5: To the Bronx, I go to Nashville, I go to California.
- 3:09Speaker 6: I go all over the country and talk to people
- 3:11Speaker 6: red envelope right and get.
- 3:14Speaker 5: The point of view. And then you know, no matter
- 3:17Speaker 5: how you slice it.
- 3:17Speaker 6: I'm a half Irish, half Italian kid from Staten Island,
- 3:21Speaker 6: so I think my father was a cop who was
- 3:23Speaker 6: a union member. Do call a family. I feel like
- 3:27Speaker 6: I understand people, you know.
- 3:30Speaker 7: And you understand regular people, you know, not even middle class.
- 3:35Speaker 5: You know.
- 3:35Speaker 6: I've been working on Wall Street for thirty years. I
- 3:37Speaker 6: was president of a public company. I understand billionaires tools,
- 3:41Speaker 6: but then I followed fifty Section eight tenants, so I
- 3:46Speaker 6: understand the plate of poorer people, you know, upper lower
- 3:52Speaker 6: middle lower middle class, upper lower class.
- 3:55Speaker 5: Right.
- 3:56Speaker 6: But I would just say to the agenda. I always
- 3:59Speaker 6: say this, I'm a libert. A lot of Americans are
- 4:01Speaker 6: probably libertarians too.
- 4:03Speaker 5: They just don't know it. You know, libertarians are kind
- 4:06Speaker 5: of like I'm just going to.
- 4:10Speaker 6: So libertarians are like socially liberal, right, So you want
- 4:15Speaker 6: to smoke weed weed, you want to be gay, We're
- 4:19Speaker 6: flying the rainbow flag.
- 4:21Speaker 5: All the time.
- 4:23Speaker 6: You want to have a transgender with reason, with parental support,
- 4:28Speaker 6: do whatever you want, right. But on the other side
- 4:31Speaker 6: of the coin, we want borders, we want safety, we
- 4:36Speaker 6: want good schools, and we want lower taxes and access
- 4:40Speaker 6: to capital for businesses.
- 4:42Speaker 5: Right. So it's like no one talks about people like
- 4:45Speaker 5: me because.
- 4:46Speaker 6: The government doesn't want us to realize that there's more
- 4:50Speaker 6: of us who are socially liberal and fiscally.
- 4:55Speaker 5: They don't want us to be libertarians. Right.
- 4:58Speaker 6: And I always say like, I actually ran for New
- 5:01Speaker 6: York City Controller year in twenty one wow.
- 5:07Speaker 5: As the libertarian candidate.
- 5:09Speaker 6: So I knew I had no shotow win, right because,
- 5:12Speaker 6: like you said, most people.
- 5:13Speaker 4: Don't even know what back is, right, But it's a
- 5:16Speaker 4: good definition.
- 5:17Speaker 5: I wanted to.
- 5:18Speaker 6: Get a set of ideas out there, which I did,
- 5:22Speaker 6: and I got three percent of the vote. I was
- 5:25Speaker 6: right underneath Curtis on the ballot. He got twenty six
- 5:27Speaker 6: percent of the vote, but I was the libertarian, he
- 5:30Speaker 6: was the Republican right.
- 5:32Speaker 8: But for my show on NEWSMACS, I have this little
- 5:37Speaker 8: ship that I do, and I say that in my view,
- 5:41Speaker 8: like ten percent.
- 5:43Speaker 6: Of people out thet are like all blue, right, like really,
- 5:47Speaker 6: and ten percent of people out there are like all right,
- 5:51Speaker 6: you know. So those twenty I put in my mind
- 5:54Speaker 6: as the zealous right, and I think the other eighty
- 5:58Speaker 6: of us have some spots of red and some spots
- 6:02Speaker 6: of blue. And I always say, like, if you watch
- 6:05Speaker 6: my show, you better be purple because my people are
- 6:08Speaker 6: purple people.
- 6:09Speaker 4: And it's like shades.
- 6:11Speaker 6: Right, you could you could.
- 6:12Speaker 5: Have like you could be Listen. I'm Catholic, I was
- 6:16Speaker 5: raised Catholic. I went to Catholic high school or boys,
- 6:19Speaker 5: you know.
- 6:20Speaker 6: But I also was like strongly against vaccines, right, And
- 6:26Speaker 6: if the government's trying to force a vaccine into you,
- 6:29Speaker 6: then they're taking away my body, my choice.
- 6:31Speaker 7: Yes, that's true, which makes those senses that is that
- 6:34Speaker 7: they're talking about abortion. It's your body, of your choice,
- 6:37Speaker 7: and then they're forcing you a vaccine on you.
- 6:40Speaker 5: Agree, it's all right, you can't be both.
- 6:42Speaker 4: You can't you can't be my choice, and then you.
- 6:45Speaker 6: Kill babies, kill babies kill babies and then.
- 6:49Speaker 5: Say whoa you know?
- 6:51Speaker 6: So I always say ten percent is wacky on the left,
- 6:57Speaker 6: ten percent is wacky on the right. Eighty We have
- 7:02Speaker 6: different shades of purple, this beautiful studio purple. But to me,
- 7:11Speaker 6: I can be like, I could be pro weed right
- 7:16Speaker 6: and pro gun. I'm Catholic, but I respect a woman's
- 7:22Speaker 6: right to reproductive help and to choose right.
- 7:26Speaker 5: So I respect that. I'm not like, never be like
- 7:29Speaker 5: against it right, and I could be pro I could
- 7:34Speaker 5: be pro choice and pro gum. You know what I'm saying.
- 7:39Speaker 4: So it doesn't mean that you have. It's it's red
- 7:42Speaker 4: or blue, and that's it.
- 7:43Speaker 7: That's it.
- 7:44Speaker 5: That's what they want. And I think if you really
- 7:48Speaker 5: sat down.
- 7:48Speaker 6: Like we are right now, and that's why cats are
- 7:51Speaker 6: putting so amazing purple, if you have, if I would
- 7:56Speaker 6: say most people we know that are right are probably
- 8:02Speaker 6: closer to the purple people.
- 8:05Speaker 5: Than they are to the all red.
- 8:07Speaker 4: And all blue, you know what I mean.
- 8:09Speaker 6: So I always say, if you watch wise guys, you
- 8:12Speaker 6: better be a purple.
- 8:13Speaker 5: People, because I like both sides of the coin.
- 8:16Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, I go to the Israel, the pro
- 8:21Speaker 6: Israel protests and I go to the pro Hamas protests, and.
- 8:29Speaker 5: I'm with Trump.
- 8:30Speaker 6: Trump's the most pro Israel president ever, and I know
- 8:33Speaker 6: Israel's our greatest ally in the Middle East. But when
- 8:36Speaker 6: I go out to these things for my show, I
- 8:40Speaker 6: want America to know that I'm willing and able to
- 8:44Speaker 6: hear both sides of the coins.
- 8:45Speaker 5: Then I throw all that crap out. Dam Yeah, another
- 8:48Speaker 5: American side.
- 8:49Speaker 7: Don't you feel that that's been a problem over the
- 8:52Speaker 7: last ten years that I feel that we used to
- 8:54Speaker 7: be able to talk to one another, and now over
- 8:57Speaker 7: the last ten years, it's like that nobody can sit
- 9:02Speaker 7: and listen. And it comes from both sides. It's not
- 9:04Speaker 7: just it's most I mean, the left is worse than
- 9:06Speaker 7: the right. But there's no you can't sit and have
- 9:09Speaker 7: a conversation with somebody anymore because if you don't agree.
- 9:12Speaker 4: With what they say, if it's like you're not with me,
- 9:16Speaker 4: you don't agree where you're not with me, and that's it.
- 9:18Speaker 9: There's no debate, there's no change of ideas anymore.
- 9:22Speaker 4: It's just black or white, or red or blue.
- 9:25Speaker 6: I should say I agree with you, Jim, And you know,
- 9:28Speaker 6: is that frustrating? It's massively frustrating, And I would you say, like,
- 9:35Speaker 6: I know you're married, I'm not.
- 9:37Speaker 5: You might have a girlfriend.
- 9:38Speaker 4: Well not, well I'm not married anymore.
- 9:40Speaker 5: But all right, well you've been mad, I've been married.
- 9:43Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, I'm over too all white. But both of
- 9:50Speaker 6: them are fantastic people, have three amazing.
- 9:53Speaker 4: Kids with.
- 9:56Speaker 5: Well doing is actually share an age?
- 9:59Speaker 6: I can't, but I would say, like in a relationship, right,
- 10:12Speaker 6: if a topic comes up with the other person.
- 10:15Speaker 5: That you have to resort the same. You know what,
- 10:19Speaker 5: let's not talk about that, but let's see that out right,
- 10:23Speaker 5: and you guys are probably.
- 10:24Speaker 6: Dead in the long line if there's something you can't
- 10:27Speaker 6: talk about.
- 10:28Speaker 5: And I feel like.
- 10:29Speaker 6: The media, the mainstream media, the legacy media, they want
- 10:34Speaker 6: to make sure that our conversations between red people and
- 10:37Speaker 6: blue people and purple people they get dead to at
- 10:42Speaker 6: let's not talk to that anymore because.
- 10:44Speaker 5: They want to destroy those relationships.
- 10:46Speaker 6: They don't want us to go out and commits.
- 10:51Speaker 5: A little bit and have a few drinks and say, oh,
- 10:53Speaker 5: you know what, I never really thought about it that way, Jen,
- 10:56Speaker 5: But I see your point of view as a Democrat,
- 10:58Speaker 5: and I know you're not a craft but you know what, I.
- 11:01Speaker 6: Mean, they don't want us to meet in the middle.
- 11:06Speaker 5: Yeah, they want us to be.
- 11:11Speaker 4: Napoleon.
- 11:12Speaker 5: I would say.
- 11:13Speaker 6: Divided is a is a word that's used, but I
- 11:15Speaker 6: would say segregated.
- 11:17Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying. They want to.
- 11:18Speaker 6: They want to put us quarantine, stay away from each other.
- 11:22Speaker 5: Don't listen to that ship, and don't let them hear yours.
- 11:26Speaker 4: And they want to break up the family because it's
- 11:28Speaker 4: easy for them to take control.
- 11:30Speaker 6: Well in the UH in the communist manifesto which Antifa
- 11:37Speaker 6: and Black Lives Matter followed, and they were outwardly honest
- 11:41Speaker 6: about it, one of the top things is to break
- 11:45Speaker 6: up the nuclear family.
- 11:46Speaker 5: They don't like the nuclear family isn't way into them,
- 11:49Speaker 5: you know. And I'm half a Tinian.
- 11:52Speaker 6: I got two right off the boat Italian grandfathers, and
- 11:57Speaker 6: I got to right off the boat Irish.
- 12:00Speaker 5: Okay, so I'm Italian. In Irish, I can drink with
- 12:03Speaker 5: the best.
- 12:04Speaker 4: The best, you know.
- 12:07Speaker 6: Yah, But I'm just saying I'm proud of both. I
- 12:13Speaker 6: always say, you know, people, you know you're illustrious.
- 12:17Speaker 5: Sometimes.
- 12:18Speaker 6: Colo's also said that my name sounded like a mob nickname,
- 12:24Speaker 6: you know what I mean. Johnny Tobacco you know, is
- 12:27Speaker 6: that a real name is the name, but what.
- 12:30Speaker 4: Is your tobacco? That's your real Yeah? I mean no,
- 12:34Speaker 4: it's not.
- 12:38Speaker 5: My suits. What hell is my name in the suit?
- 12:40Speaker 5: My my name is in this suit somewhere.
- 12:42Speaker 4: But that's your real tobacco.
- 12:44Speaker 5: It sounds like, look do you can you see that?
- 12:47Speaker 5: Don't know?
- 12:48Speaker 4: You know, but you could just put it in the.
- 12:50Speaker 5: You Okay, so you you want to see my drivers? Okay,
- 12:54Speaker 5: here we go. I want to Yeah, there's my fastball card.
- 13:03Speaker 5: That's even better than my dressing.
- 13:04Speaker 4: They got you and paid for the ship.
- 13:06Speaker 5: Whatever. It's good to have when you're abroad.
- 13:09Speaker 6: You know, broad that the one word broad I don't want.
- 13:16Speaker 5: To say, is that good? You want that? You want that?
- 13:19Speaker 5: You want? You want to zoom.
- 13:21Speaker 6: I don't give out my dress and myself secret. But
- 13:25Speaker 6: now listen, my name is John Tobacco.
- 13:30Speaker 5: I'm proud of it. But what I was saying, I'm iverson.
- 13:33Speaker 6: I always say I got the oh at the end
- 13:36Speaker 6: instead of the beginning. Yeah, but a lot of people say, oh,
- 13:39Speaker 6: this guy, and this is how I dress. Working on
- 13:42Speaker 6: Wall Street for thirty years, a Whippins stripe suits. I
- 13:44Speaker 6: will window pain, you know, I like to get dressed.
- 13:48Speaker 6: I leave my house in the morning, I get dressed,
- 13:50Speaker 6: I fix my hand, I shave, and then I go boom,
- 13:54Speaker 6: We're gonna go out and do something good today. Like
- 13:56Speaker 6: I feel like kids these days don't even know how
- 13:58Speaker 6: to get dressed. I got that bangs down to it.
- 14:01Speaker 6: It knows and even my son, he's nineteen. I go,
- 14:05Speaker 6: get ahead, cut. I want to see your eyebrows. You
- 14:08Speaker 6: want to wear this cloth, just hang it down to you.
- 14:10Speaker 6: It's downfit your eyebrows.
- 14:12Speaker 5: Yeah, cut, But.
- 14:13Speaker 4: Don't you feel like that? Also happened after COVID.
- 14:15Speaker 7: Everybody was home during during COVID and working from home,
- 14:18Speaker 7: and everybody lost that want to go to go into
- 14:22Speaker 7: the office, to go to work, to get dressed, to
- 14:24Speaker 7: go mingle with with with co oppers. That's that that
- 14:28Speaker 7: I feel affected the society so badly.
- 14:30Speaker 6: Also part of the communist manifesto the people to rely
- 14:34Speaker 6: on government, right, they want you to stay home, delays
- 14:37Speaker 6: and do whatever the government says so that you check
- 14:39Speaker 6: cashes every month. So I think, you know, I don't
- 14:42Speaker 6: want to go crazy because I love kats and pudding.
- 14:44Speaker 5: There it's not all about politics.
- 14:46Speaker 7: But but it's okay it's we're talking about social issues.
- 14:50Speaker 7: But I agree with that, and I think that we're
- 14:53Speaker 7: more alike all of us that we're dislike, and what
- 14:55Speaker 7: the government's trying to do would be like board's out
- 14:57Speaker 7: our differences more than are likenesses.
- 15:01Speaker 4: You know, because I.
- 15:02Speaker 7: Consider myself but I don't like to talk about my
- 15:04Speaker 7: political background.
- 15:05Speaker 4: I just don't because I have a business. But I
- 15:08Speaker 4: consider myself in the middle. I consider myself in the middle.
- 15:11Speaker 4: I'm for common sense. I'm for somebody speaking the truth.
- 15:16Speaker 4: I'm for facts.
- 15:17Speaker 7: I'm not for you know, I'm not I'm not for
- 15:20Speaker 7: craziness all the way to the left, and I'm not
- 15:22Speaker 7: for craziness right people.
- 15:27Speaker 5: I have a whole I think most of America are perfect.
- 15:30Speaker 6: I agree with that if you just sat down people
- 15:32Speaker 6: who had the balls to say how they really feel.
- 15:37Speaker 5: I think most.
- 15:37Speaker 10: People are like you know, onlike simple issues like not simple,
- 15:42Speaker 10: but you know, in simple like choice and woman's reproductive health,
- 15:46Speaker 10: and like spoke in.
- 15:48Speaker 6: Marijuana, being gay or even being trained.
- 15:51Speaker 4: In Hey, you know, I'm fifty six years old.
- 15:55Speaker 5: I know plenty of trained gender guys or girls, you
- 15:58Speaker 5: know what I mean? Who when people literally went both.
- 16:01Speaker 6: Ways but you know, I know people overdy is that
- 16:05Speaker 6: decided that's what they are, right. And in my neighborhood
- 16:09Speaker 6: in Stanton Island, the kids that were a little faggy
- 16:13Speaker 6: and the kids that were like dressing up like girls
- 16:15Speaker 6: when we know they were boys.
- 16:17Speaker 5: When the kids from.
- 16:17Speaker 6: The other neighborhood came around and bullied them, we chased
- 16:21Speaker 6: their asses out of our town, you know what I mean,
- 16:23Speaker 6: Like there was a different time we had. I grew
- 16:25Speaker 6: up in a white area of Stanton Island, in middle
- 16:27Speaker 6: class areas that but we had black kids, we have
- 16:29Speaker 6: Spanish kids, we had Chinese kids, and.
- 16:32Speaker 5: All click was everyone. Yeah, we played stickball, we played
- 16:36Speaker 5: so you know what I mean. And yeah, but what
- 16:39Speaker 5: I'm saying, we.
- 16:40Speaker 4: Would were helping. We would we would kick the ship.
- 16:43Speaker 6: Out of the guys from the other neighborhood if they
- 16:45Speaker 6: picked on wanted a wanted the nerdy you know, like
- 16:49Speaker 6: little bit of fairy kids or something. We'd go after
- 16:52Speaker 6: them to beat their ass in. You know, we would
- 16:54Speaker 6: stick up for those kids.
- 16:55Speaker 5: So my mind is, you know, my my parents, we're
- 17:01Speaker 5: very connected to the community.
- 17:02Speaker 6: My mom runs a nonprofital The World of Women for
- 17:05Speaker 6: like twenty five years, which he founded.
- 17:07Speaker 5: My dad was a cop who was the president of the
- 17:09Speaker 5: local litera league, president of the local pev football league.
- 17:12Speaker 5: And they told us, listen, we're all the freaking same.
- 17:16Speaker 4: And we're all born alone with and we dialogue.
- 17:19Speaker 5: We're blessed.
- 17:21Speaker 6: So everything you do that brings you in more blessings.
- 17:26Speaker 6: Make sure to get back to the community. So I
- 17:28Speaker 6: kind of want to get tears of my ass because
- 17:30Speaker 6: my father's passed.
- 17:31Speaker 5: But my father was a tough ass cop.
- 17:35Speaker 6: But he always used to tell us, like, you know,
- 17:37Speaker 6: peewee football, you got like some black kids on the
- 17:40Speaker 6: team and stuff.
- 17:41Speaker 5: They just throw the water bottles out there on a
- 17:43Speaker 5: time out, and you know, when you're young, you're like, oh,
- 17:47Speaker 5: can I drink out of that water bottle?
- 17:48Speaker 10: You know?
- 17:49Speaker 6: My father said, hey, when that water comes out there,
- 17:51Speaker 6: you drink it. You guys are all the same. Just
- 17:53Speaker 6: shut up, you know what I mean. So, and cops
- 17:56Speaker 6: is sometimes.
- 17:57Speaker 5: Predisposed to, you know, not love the naughty people.
- 18:01Speaker 6: But my father went out of his way to tell
- 18:04Speaker 6: us that, hey, we're all the same India, And thankfully
- 18:10Speaker 6: I grew up. I'm blessed that he never wanted He didn't.
- 18:13Speaker 4: Want you to be a coup.
- 18:13Speaker 5: Was he let's he?
- 18:14Speaker 4: Let's he?
- 18:15Speaker 5: Uh?
- 18:16Speaker 4: He wasn't a upset that you went I actually took.
- 18:19Speaker 6: I really wanted to be like my dad. He's my
- 18:22Speaker 6: idol in life, and I wanted to be like him.
- 18:25Speaker 6: I actually took the cops test when I was like nineteen,
- 18:29Speaker 6: when I was in college and Saint John's University. And
- 18:32Speaker 6: then my father was like, all right, trust me, I
- 18:35Speaker 6: tell you that's not what you want to do. This
- 18:36Speaker 6: job and this is like, you know, thirty seven years ago.
- 18:41Speaker 6: My father was like, the job ain't the same. You
- 18:43Speaker 6: don't want to be a cop.
- 18:44Speaker 5: So that was short of them.
- 18:46Speaker 6: But I thought about it because I always idolized my
- 18:49Speaker 6: father and all his friends. And I used to be
- 18:52Speaker 6: the back boy for the NYPD softball team when.
- 18:55Speaker 4: I used to play against the fire Department.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:59Speaker 5: Can I tell you once?
- 19:01Speaker 6: So my follow was in the sixth precinct in the village, Okay,
- 19:06Speaker 6: and they had the precinct had to kill a softball team, right,
- 19:12Speaker 6: and there was a gay softball league right down.
- 19:16Speaker 5: There in the park right in the village and everything.
- 19:18Speaker 6: And all these teams and they had some great plays,
- 19:21Speaker 6: like former college players or women.
- 19:23Speaker 5: But they were like lesbians and men, but they were
- 19:26Speaker 5: like gay.
- 19:28Speaker 6: And every year they used to have a game with
- 19:31Speaker 6: the guy the cops from the Precinct against the all
- 19:34Speaker 6: star team from the Gay League, right, And I'll never
- 19:37Speaker 6: forget this.
- 19:38Speaker 5: I talked about this at the Blue Lives Matter at dinner, and.
- 19:41Speaker 6: The Precinct used to put flyers out that said come
- 19:45Speaker 6: to the park on Saturday, Cops versus clears. That's what
- 19:51Speaker 6: the game was gold the cops versus the queers. And
- 19:55Speaker 6: all the gay bars had these play plans dirty in
- 19:58Speaker 6: their windows and there was a whole.
- 20:00Speaker 5: Thing and they would play.
- 20:03Speaker 6: They would have a great game, a great game, and
- 20:06Speaker 6: then afterwards they would go I'll never forget bad Lands ever.
- 20:09Speaker 5: Here of bad Lands in the village.
- 20:10Speaker 6: It's like so low down dirty as the bar, like
- 20:13Speaker 6: you know, and all the cops and all the queers
- 20:17Speaker 6: used to go to bad Lands and drink beers, pretzels,
- 20:20Speaker 6: hang out, and it was always like that.
- 20:23Speaker 5: Could never happen today.
- 20:26Speaker 6: The game to be called the Cops Queers, but everyone
- 20:29Speaker 6: will go crazy, you know what I mean.
- 20:30Speaker 7: So well, they wouldn't want they don't they wouldn't want
- 20:33Speaker 7: them to try to get one.
- 20:34Speaker 4: And they want to separate. They would want to separate them,
- 20:36Speaker 4: the cops a bed.
- 20:38Speaker 5: You know, that's what I mean.
- 20:40Speaker 7: Community doesn't like them or doesn't or they're prejudice or
- 20:44Speaker 7: whatever it is.
- 20:44Speaker 4: So that's what happens.
- 20:46Speaker 7: And it's funny that we've we've went backwards instead of forward,
- 20:50Speaker 7: and and and it's not.
- 20:51Speaker 4: Not because of the people. It's because of the.
- 20:53Speaker 7: Media did that and then and they and they implanting
- 20:56Speaker 7: it on people on people on people.
- 20:58Speaker 4: I feel like that that's that's what's going on.
- 21:01Speaker 7: You know that they're they're the ones who are who
- 21:04Speaker 7: are you know, perpetuating you know, Morgan Freeman, I was
- 21:08Speaker 7: watching I don't know if you saw the interview with him,
- 21:11Speaker 7: and he was the guy's the guys you're seeing and
- 21:13Speaker 7: he was interviewing was like talking about racism.
- 21:17Speaker 4: And he goes, well, how do we stop this? He
- 21:18Speaker 4: stop talking about it? He goes, Jesus, I'm a man,
- 21:22Speaker 4: you're a man, He says, stop talking about it. You're
- 21:24Speaker 4: perpetuating it. What are you doing here?
- 21:26Speaker 7: And it's so true, you know, And and I feel
- 21:30Speaker 7: also and every everybody who've come to this country.
- 21:35Speaker 9: Had had a hot time coming here. It wasn't easy
- 21:37Speaker 9: for anybody. It wasn't easy for Italians. It wasn't easy
- 21:41Speaker 9: for Irish. It wasn't easy for anybody who came over here.
- 21:44Speaker 9: You know, I nobody. It was easy for my father.
- 21:48Speaker 9: I'm second generation in America. You lived in tenements.
- 21:52Speaker 4: He had no running water. It was the lower Lower.
- 21:54Speaker 7: East Side, I mean, you know, and you know what,
- 21:56Speaker 7: he was proud. Then he became an American and he
- 21:59Speaker 7: went for about the war before Korean War, you know,
- 22:02Speaker 7: and he was built in a generation.
- 22:05Speaker 4: He went from having nothing in the family or nothing when.
- 22:08Speaker 7: They came here, to successful children that had a successful business.
- 22:12Speaker 10: You know.
- 22:13Speaker 4: So it's who doesn't want the American dream?
- 22:16Speaker 7: And it is possible for people they're trying, they're want
- 22:19Speaker 7: to kill the American dream.
- 22:21Speaker 6: My grandfather, Angelo Archipoli, immigrated year from from Italy, and
- 22:28Speaker 6: my old family and myself grew up on the Lower
- 22:30Speaker 6: East so I joined grew up with Nikoboca bility, which
- 22:33Speaker 6: was you know, all Italians and Irish.
- 22:36Speaker 4: People twelve about four.
- 22:40Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, look, I never felt poor, you know
- 22:44Speaker 5: what I mean. Like even my grandfather was in the
- 22:46Speaker 5: Printer's Union. My dad was in a policeman.
- 22:50Speaker 6: You know what I mean, my mom was a private
- 22:51Speaker 6: investigator and then she had like a side party business.
- 22:54Speaker 5: So even you know, I'm third generation, I guess, you know.
- 22:59Speaker 2: But my grandfather, I always felt like we're in the
- 23:05Speaker 2: better half of the people that were even in our
- 23:08Speaker 2: class because my grandfather was smart.
- 23:11Speaker 5: He saved, he was it was responsible, you know what
- 23:15Speaker 5: I mean.
- 23:16Speaker 6: So I don't know, I never felt for you know,
- 23:19Speaker 6: some people go on and say, wow, we had one
- 23:21Speaker 6: can of beans for a time.
- 23:25Speaker 5: To go to school.
- 23:26Speaker 4: I walked to school uphill both tho.
- 23:29Speaker 5: I'm blessed.
- 23:30Speaker 6: Me, my two brothers, and all the siblings and children
- 23:36Speaker 6: that we spawned since then were blessed.
- 23:38Speaker 5: You know. My grandparents and my parents did that for us.
- 23:42Speaker 7: Yeah, that's the way I mean, I feel like that
- 23:45Speaker 7: we're blessed to my father, you.
- 23:47Speaker 4: Know, always wanted us to a have an education. He
- 23:49Speaker 4: never went to school, so it was a big deal
- 23:52Speaker 4: for having Foster College and we all did, and we did.
- 23:55Speaker 5: I was the first kid in my family to go
- 23:56Speaker 5: to college. I went to Saint John. I'm a red storm.
- 24:03Speaker 6: I used to be a red Man, but ye know
- 24:05Speaker 6: that became politically in correct.
- 24:07Speaker 5: Now I'm a red storm.
- 24:08Speaker 4: But what you did you play Did you play spats On?
- 24:12Speaker 6: I played in high school, I played football and hockey,
- 24:14Speaker 6: But in college I pretty much.
- 24:16Speaker 5: Worked working on Wall Street in nineteen eighty seven, wow
- 24:20Speaker 5: in school.
- 24:21Speaker 4: So every time I think of my todays, I've been
- 24:23Speaker 4: boarding Gecko, I think of that. I know, do you
- 24:30Speaker 4: miss Wall Street? You're still there?
- 24:33Speaker 5: But no thing is that's my full time. The Newsmax
- 24:38Speaker 5: thing is like.
- 24:40Speaker 7: Yeah, and so how do you like? So how did
- 24:43Speaker 7: you get involved with the newsbacks like how did this? No?
- 24:46Speaker 6: Well, I've been on Wall Street most of my life,
- 24:49Speaker 6: and you know, my particular area of the market is
- 24:53Speaker 6: kind of nuanced. And CNBC reached out to me one time,
- 24:57Speaker 6: like in two thousand and.
- 24:58Speaker 5: Five, and they were like, hey, we need a guy who.
- 25:01Speaker 6: I knew, someone there who could talk about this, this, that,
- 25:04Speaker 6: And I'm like, all right whatever.
- 25:05Speaker 5: I was actually.
- 25:06Speaker 6: Hosting a community television show and standing down with sometimes
- 25:12Speaker 6: w ABC favorite.
- 25:15Speaker 5: And I was like, yeah, right, fine, I could I
- 25:17Speaker 5: could do. I think I just TV.
- 25:19Speaker 6: I started going on CNBC as a business contributor right
- 25:24Speaker 6: and started doing well, and I was not liberal enough
- 25:28Speaker 6: for them, so I booked up with Fox Business and
- 25:31Speaker 6: then it was on Fox News for like seven years
- 25:34Speaker 6: and then Chris Ruddy's News Bank, so I started to
- 25:38Speaker 6: bump up and they just getting started in you know, fifteen, and.
- 25:46Speaker 5: Chris Rody said, hey, I will give you, you know,
- 25:47Speaker 5: if you're.
- 25:48Speaker 6: A contributor, I'll give you a shot to having one show,
- 25:50Speaker 6: which they were even unknown then.
- 25:53Speaker 4: You know, yeah, well now they're big now they but I.
- 25:57Speaker 5: Left Fox to go to Newsman. You know, since think
- 26:03Speaker 5: and it's a good.
- 26:03Speaker 4: It's a good, it's a it's a big network now.
- 26:06Speaker 4: I mean a lot of people have.
- 26:08Speaker 6: The it's got I think we're making an impact on
- 26:12Speaker 6: Fox's ratings. We're one of the only capables networks who's
- 26:16Speaker 6: rating whose ratings and Hodiens are.
- 26:18Speaker 5: Going up and you know, people you ain't.
- 26:22Speaker 4: Ready capable most yeah, you know what I mean.
- 26:24Speaker 5: So news Max and you know they can't creative.
- 26:28Speaker 6: They're streaming stuff now and you know, to me, I'm
- 26:34Speaker 6: in it to win. And what do you want to
- 26:36Speaker 6: do on Saturday nights at ten o'clock. I'm on Sunday
- 26:39Speaker 6: nights at eleven thirty and I do you know five
- 26:43Speaker 6: or six kids throwing the week on different stuff.
- 26:47Speaker 4: You go into the studio and do you do it
- 26:49Speaker 4: from all.
- 26:50Speaker 5: No, my wise, guys, show me take the Sparks Steakhouse.
- 26:53Speaker 4: Oh that's so cool.
- 26:55Speaker 5: Able to do that?
- 26:55Speaker 6: All love that on Wednesdays and there on Saturday.
- 26:59Speaker 7: Yes, and you do and so so what so I
- 27:04Speaker 7: know you would have talked about also about you interested in.
- 27:06Speaker 7: Maybe we're talking about the beauty business that you might
- 27:10Speaker 7: be interested in.
- 27:11Speaker 6: Oh yeah, yeah, Well look I'm working on.
- 27:17Speaker 5: I'm working on my own line of hair products.
- 27:22Speaker 6: We know secret that I got some wop of products
- 27:27Speaker 6: about to come out. This may look like, this may
- 27:33Speaker 6: look like I have a decent amount of hair, but
- 27:35Speaker 6: I don't. But TV magic is in play, and I've
- 27:41Speaker 6: learned things over.
- 27:41Speaker 5: The years from being on TV that you know.
- 27:44Speaker 6: Not every guy wants to put all this hair product
- 27:46Speaker 6: in his hair every day, but if you don't a
- 27:49Speaker 6: wedding or reunion, in a party, you want to look
- 27:52Speaker 6: super good. I'm coming out with you know, the way
- 27:58Speaker 6: guys could easily you know, soup themselves something.
- 28:01Speaker 7: But but that's okay, And I think guys now today
- 28:03Speaker 7: are doing more for themselves like women. I know we
- 28:06Speaker 7: had the discussion about women how they're like, do some
- 28:09Speaker 7: of them get crazy with and I'm in the beauty business,
- 28:12Speaker 7: what the lips and is?
- 28:14Speaker 4: And then that I know I have to charm people away.
- 28:17Speaker 4: Believe it.
- 28:17Speaker 6: I see their lips are out past and those they
- 28:21Speaker 6: got the Brazilian butt lift, you know what I mean.
- 28:24Speaker 5: I knew they years ago they had a flat ass.
- 28:26Speaker 5: Now their three feet, you know, they got junkers and
- 28:30Speaker 5: trump the lips, fastshole. And then all of a sudden
- 28:34Speaker 5: like what you know, and like.
- 28:36Speaker 4: I didn't do anything.
- 28:38Speaker 6: And now then you get that from squads about all
- 28:40Speaker 6: my brethren, and I would say, well, but a lot
- 28:43Speaker 6: of guys now, like I know guys that.
- 28:46Speaker 5: Are on epic, Yeah, and they'll lose the weight.
- 28:50Speaker 6: And then I hear like from these little clicks of
- 28:53Speaker 6: chicks with that I hang out with that, you know,
- 28:57Speaker 6: they said, oh he's on I was at that, He's
- 29:00Speaker 6: on Ozama.
- 29:01Speaker 4: Wait a minute, so are you no.
- 29:04Speaker 5: Number one? They should have to wear like the skull Atletto.
- 29:06Speaker 5: They should have to wear a pin with the one
- 29:08Speaker 5: it like.
- 29:10Speaker 6: But like they're knocking guys for being on exam. Their
- 29:14Speaker 6: lips are out, the hear it, butts are out, the
- 29:16Speaker 6: the bras are out the here right, But look, I
- 29:20Speaker 6: think men have just as much right to soup up
- 29:26Speaker 6: their appearance with their lips out. And I'm joking around,
- 29:31Speaker 6: but if they feel good with their lips out and the.
- 29:33Speaker 7: Outs I mean, for me as a person who's injecting,
- 29:40Speaker 7: I don't want somebody to walk out looking like that,
- 29:43Speaker 7: because that's why I work, you know, I kind of
- 29:45Speaker 7: tell people this is good enough, this looks good.
- 29:48Speaker 4: I give them a little and I want to give you.
- 29:51Speaker 6: I was just gonna say, when you look at this
- 29:52Speaker 6: train wreck right what do you see? Do you think
- 29:56Speaker 6: I need a little give me, give me like a quick,
- 30:01Speaker 6: give me a quick console, and then I'll come see you.
- 30:05Speaker 6: Well if I if you like, if I like your
- 30:08Speaker 6: console right now, I'll consider it.
- 30:11Speaker 5: I don't know what would you do to me?
- 30:14Speaker 4: What I well, I don't like to do a lot
- 30:16Speaker 4: on guys. When I say to guys, we do brotox
- 30:18Speaker 4: botox protos. So it's lighter, and.
- 30:21Speaker 7: If you're gonna still have some movement, it's gonna be
- 30:25Speaker 7: swafter like the lines on the far a little bit
- 30:27Speaker 7: around the eyes, but it's gonna look natural. You're not
- 30:29Speaker 7: gonna look like the wind blow like John Riffer is.
- 30:33Speaker 7: You're gonna look nice and just a.
- 30:35Speaker 6: Little telling me you want to take care of the line.
- 30:39Speaker 6: Go ahead, you want to take care of.
- 30:41Speaker 5: The crows on the side. That's all you see. Maybe
- 30:47Speaker 5: maybe you want to al right here and just a.
- 30:51Speaker 4: Little swapping it, and I think that will look great
- 30:54Speaker 4: on you.
- 30:55Speaker 6: I'm I'm willing to I'm will think about how about
- 30:58Speaker 6: this my show wise, guys, I'm completely open with my audience.
- 31:03Speaker 6: They know I have replacements, they know that I'm somewhat
- 31:07Speaker 6: out of shape, but I've got fast thing.
- 31:10Speaker 5: You know I'm saying. But I'm honest, audience, hop out.
- 31:14Speaker 5: If I come for a consolation, I bring my camera, love,
- 31:19Speaker 5: give me the console.
- 31:20Speaker 4: I love that.
- 31:21Speaker 6: And then if I decided to do it, we we
- 31:23Speaker 6: record it and then I show my audience from before,
- 31:27Speaker 6: and then your.
- 31:28Speaker 4: Journey, your botops journey, your brot, my.
- 31:31Speaker 5: Pros journey might stop that podcast, my bro I love it.
- 31:38Speaker 4: I think it would be great.
- 31:39Speaker 5: I'm going to do it. I mean, you will set
- 31:41Speaker 5: it up. I love, I love. I'd love to see
- 31:44Speaker 5: what you think could make the better.
- 31:47Speaker 4: And just a little that's it, just a little refreshed.
- 31:50Speaker 5: You just I know we gotta go. You just define
- 31:54Speaker 5: is a little is.
- 31:55Speaker 4: A little spring on. It's just a little refresh on.
- 31:58Speaker 4: So somebody looks at you and did you have a
- 32:01Speaker 4: good sleep, did you go on vacation? That is that's it.
- 32:06Speaker 4: Just somebody will look at you. They won't know what
- 32:08Speaker 4: you did, but they like look good.
- 32:11Speaker 7: They don't know why they you know, sleep could be
- 32:14Speaker 7: just you know, just not work, maybe taking a vacation.
- 32:18Speaker 5: Whatever.
- 32:19Speaker 6: I'm willing to come in console and I have a
- 32:22Speaker 6: feeling that everybody is going to come.

- 33:18Speaker 5: you zoom it? Why are you driving?
- 33:20Speaker 6: He said, up already, I'm driving because she's my friend
