- 0:01Speaker 1: Weekdays, 3 to 7 p.m. The Flash Drive with Carl
- 0:05Speaker 1: Wastey on KFM 94.5. That's what it is. Welcome, welcome.
- 0:09Speaker 1: It's a brand new week, a brand new chance to
- 0:11Speaker 1: entertain you thoroughly till 7 o'clock on The Flash Drive
- 0:14Speaker 1: on KFM 94.5. And I have decided we're going to
- 0:18Speaker 1: have the best week possible this week. We are going
- 0:20Speaker 1: to do it. It is our week. Those things that
- 0:23Speaker 1: you wanted to do, those things that you wanted to clean,
- 0:25Speaker 1: those goals you wanted to achieve, it's happening this week.
- 0:28Speaker 1: I'm putting it in your diary and I'm going to
- 0:30Speaker 1: make it a manifesting priority for you. Let's do this thing. Okay,
- 0:35Speaker 1: can we do it? Let's do it. What are you
- 0:37Speaker 1: going to achieve this week, Cassidy?
- 0:38Speaker 2: Oh, what am I going to achieve?
- 0:42Speaker 1: What are you going to achieve?
- 0:43Speaker 2: I think I want to finish two books.
- 0:46Speaker 1: That's it. Okay, I'm going to hold you accountable. All right,
- 0:49Speaker 1: done and dusted.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Beautiful.
- 0:51Speaker 1: That is the achievement. So we're going to manifest.
- 0:53Speaker 2: What are you going to do?
- 0:55Speaker 1: I will finally... Throw away the old paint. It's been
- 1:00Speaker 1: sitting in my germ at home. A lot of old paint.
- 1:04Speaker 1: And I've been looking at it and I'm like, yeah, so. Okay.
- 1:06Speaker 1: I need to throw away this. Oh, I'm going to
- 1:07Speaker 1: throw away the paint. It's about time. It's a very
- 1:11Speaker 1: old school thing. We keep paint. I don't know why.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Just throw it away.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Just in case we need that same... the duck egg
- 1:17Speaker 1: later right and it's and there's only literally 10 centimeters
- 1:20Speaker 1: left at the bottom but you know we keep it
- 1:22Speaker 1: for some reason i'm gonna let that go there'll be
- 1:25Speaker 1: no paint left unless this this full paint that'll be left.
- 1:28Speaker 4: You know that's it there's a little hack right if
- 1:30Speaker 4: you struggle if you struggle to throw things away just
- 1:33Speaker 4: when you know like someone else is going to be
- 1:35Speaker 4: there right you can just be like hey don't you
- 1:37Speaker 4: want to just throw this away for me while i'm
- 1:39Speaker 4: out Out of sight, out of mind. You're not even
- 1:41Speaker 4: going to think about it. You're not going to have
- 1:42Speaker 4: to attach yourself to the task.
- 1:44Speaker 1: I want to. I know you want to do it.
- 1:45Speaker 1: I want to rip it off. I want to make sure.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Okay, fine.
- 1:48Speaker 1: I think it's because we hold on to things, man.
- 1:50Speaker 1: I told you about this before, is that our hoarding
- 1:52Speaker 1: culture comes from, I paid a lot of money for
- 1:54Speaker 1: this nine years ago. Yeah. So I don't want to
- 1:57Speaker 1: waste the money, even though it's been nine years.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Also, this item broke and I still have the box.
- 2:04Speaker 1: So yeah, no paint. No paint.
- 2:05Speaker 2: No paint. is what you're going to say when you
- 2:08Speaker 2: throw it away. No paint.
- 2:09Speaker 1: No paint. I'm going to do that. So I've got
- 2:11Speaker 1: goals and I think it's important this week. We set
- 2:13Speaker 1: our goals and then we lock in and then we
- 2:15Speaker 1: get it done. Simple. Today, clicks, club card, cashback, done.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Want to win concept? Done. Flash word? Licker. Psychology? Why not?
- 2:25Speaker 1: One up later. It's your show. I promise you. Take charge.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Take control. Here's Samba Potential. Did an incredible piece at
- 2:33Speaker 1: the VMAs, by the way, for a very, very beautiful artist,
- 2:37Speaker 1: George Michael. Father Figure by Samba. Sounds so good. You
- 2:41Speaker 1: should check it out online. But here is the track Potential.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Sia's Elastic Heart is on the follow-up. Welcome to your
- 2:47Speaker 1: flash drive. Sia Elastic Heart is on your show, Flash Drive,
- 2:55Speaker 1: KFM 94.5. Hopefully you had a wonderful Monday. If it's
- 2:58Speaker 1: not been wonderful, then that's why Cassidy and I are here.
- 3:02Speaker 1: We're going to make it better for you. Yeah, we are.
- 3:04Speaker 1: We're going to try our best. I know it's school
- 3:05Speaker 1: holidays at the moment, and I know what you've been hearing.
- 3:08Speaker 1: I'm bored.
- 3:10Speaker 4: I'm bored. I'm bored.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I'm bored. I'm bored.
- 3:14Speaker 5: I'm bored.
- 3:15Speaker 4: I'm bored.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I'm bored.
- 3:17Speaker 3: What are you going to do?
- 3:18Speaker 2: I'm bored.
- 3:18Speaker 1: I'm bored. That's what you've been hearing. I know. Because
- 3:21Speaker 1: the thing about this holiday is that it's so short.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Right.
- 3:24Speaker 1: That you couldn't take leave in this holiday. You know
- 3:27Speaker 1: what I mean? Because you want to save it for December.
- 3:29Speaker 1: So it's a very awkward holiday to take leave. Unless
- 3:31Speaker 1: your company gives you those like 40 days leave. Then
- 3:33Speaker 1: bless your company. Take that leave and I hope you're
- 3:35Speaker 1: going away and flying around. But it's very tough because
- 3:40Speaker 1: you don't have that space to do things. So all
- 3:43Speaker 1: you're doing now is kind of like between sort of...
- 3:47Speaker 1: The evening. And also you can't stay out late as well.
- 3:50Speaker 1: So I get it. Dear parent, I understand. That's why
- 3:53Speaker 1: you've been hearing that so often.
- 3:55Speaker 4: I'm bored.
- 3:55Speaker 5: I'm bored.
- 3:56Speaker 4: I'm bored. I'm bored.
- 3:57Speaker 6: I'm bored.
- 3:57Speaker 1: That's what you're hearing. I'm sorry. So I get it completely.
- 4:02Speaker 1: And I know that there are some solutions there. I'm certain.
- 4:06Speaker 4: Right?
- 4:06Speaker 1: Like when we were bored growing up. Do you know
- 4:08Speaker 1: what we did when we were bored? Hey? What we
- 4:11Speaker 1: did when we were bored? What? I would find a
- 4:15Speaker 1: patch of sand. And dig to Australia. But you like
- 4:18Speaker 1: to dig.
- 4:19Speaker 5: Okay. You were a digger.
- 4:20Speaker 1: I would just dig to Australia. What do you call me?
- 4:24Speaker 2: I said you like to dig.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Oh, okay. You were a digger. Anyway, yeah. So, basically. Oh, gosh.
- 4:34Speaker 1: I would dig to Australia.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Yes.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Well, that was caution that I would dig too far.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Find a tree.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Nice. Where could you go?
- 4:41Speaker 1: I'd make something like a toy or something. You know what?
- 4:43Speaker 1: Best thing that I used to do is if I
- 4:45Speaker 1: didn't have access to a ball, I'd take a bunch
- 4:48Speaker 1: of newspaper and masking tape and I created a ball.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Innovator.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Me. That's it.
- 4:53Speaker 4: I would throw all the brown coins that we had
- 4:55Speaker 4: because there was like that little coin thing. I'd throw
- 4:57Speaker 4: all the brown coins in the pool and I would
- 4:59Speaker 4: see how quickly I can pick up the brown coins.
- 5:01Speaker 1: In the pool. She was. I mean, you had a pool, so.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Listen here.
- 5:06Speaker 1: So if you don't have a pool, I'll tell you what. No, no, no.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Don't worry.
- 5:09Speaker 4: Go throw green Smarties in the grass and see how
- 5:11Speaker 4: many you can find.
- 5:12Speaker 1: I'm a solution driven. Throw them in the bath.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Yeah, because a bath is a pool for us, man.
- 5:20Speaker 1: That's it. So there we go. It's a lake. That's
- 5:23Speaker 1: what it is in our homes. But those old school,
- 5:26Speaker 1: I think in this short holiday, now, dear parent, this
- 5:29Speaker 1: is where we bring back our old school things that
- 5:32Speaker 1: we used to play, man. Like that's really cool. Like
- 5:35Speaker 1: I love chess. So my son and I will crack
- 5:38Speaker 1: on with a chess game. And chess can be long.
- 5:40Speaker 1: And the great thing about chess, it gets this dude
- 5:43Speaker 1: to focus on one thing for a long time. Yeah.
- 5:47Speaker 1: There's no like checking the phone out quickly or whatever.
- 5:49Speaker 1: And if it tries to check the phone out, I
- 5:52Speaker 1: will move a piece without you knowing. He'll be like,
- 5:54Speaker 1: what do you do? I'm saying, well, you moved your
- 5:56Speaker 1: hand toward your phone. That's a move. So I can
- 5:58Speaker 1: move again.
- 5:59Speaker 4: If you don't necessarily dislike the idea of you know,
- 6:03Speaker 4: being on a computer and you maybe have some space
- 6:05Speaker 4: on there, just tell them to download Sims.
- 6:08Speaker 2: That normally helps.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Oh, how cool. Sims is, no. Do you know what
- 6:13Speaker 1: I'm saying?
- 6:14Speaker 4: If you want to get them busy for a few hours,
- 6:16Speaker 4: go to Sims and go and make a house. Go
- 6:19Speaker 4: learn about architecture.
- 6:20Speaker 1: See, wow. I mean, it wasn't that educational, but you
- 6:23Speaker 1: had to keep people alive in that game. That's what
- 6:25Speaker 1: I'm saying. But I also, I think I prefer this one. Like,
- 6:29Speaker 1: let's pick a letter and we'll do that whole, you know.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Yes, the bus stop game.
- 6:34Speaker 1: You would call it that? We called it girls and
- 6:36Speaker 1: boys growing up for some reason because there's girls' names,
- 6:39Speaker 1: there's boys' names, there were brands, there was fruit and vegetables.
- 6:42Speaker 1: And then we had to, so we pick one. T,
- 6:45Speaker 1: what's your boy's name?
- 6:46Speaker 2: Tony.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Thomas. Okay, then we get maximum points. Otherwise around the group,
- 6:51Speaker 1: if you get someone with the same answer, then you
- 6:53Speaker 1: get half the points. And that was fun. I loved
- 6:56Speaker 1: that so much. It's really cool. Yeah. Especially like vegetable
- 6:59Speaker 1: with a Z. This is prior to us knowing.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Zucchini.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Yeah. Why? Yam. You understand?
- 7:08Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a potato, right?
- 7:09Speaker 1: Sweet potato, yeah, basically. But a yam counts.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Right.
- 7:12Speaker 1: And I love those moments there. It was a crowning
- 7:16Speaker 1: moment where you could flex with something, man.
- 7:18Speaker 2: A car with a Q.
- 7:19Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? Oh, so this is easy. Quantum.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Not only quantum. People go like Q5, Q3, Q4, Q7. No.
- 7:28Speaker 1: And they do that.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Oh, gosh.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Yeah, they do that. And then there'd be an argument
- 7:32Speaker 1: about it. And I'm like, but it's a car. But
- 7:34Speaker 1: it's the make of the car, not the type of car.
- 7:36Speaker 1: It was terrible. But fun. Fun. Get innovative. They're going
- 7:41Speaker 1: to say, I'm bored. But now this is the time
- 7:43Speaker 1: we flex, man. Get them a tall top. Get them
- 7:48Speaker 1: cup liquor. Try it. Then video you getting it right.
- 7:52Speaker 1: When I come home from work, I need to see
- 7:54Speaker 1: a completed video. Done and dusted. Oh, gosh. Yes. There's
- 7:58Speaker 1: a chance for you to win with clicks, by the way.
- 7:59Speaker 1: This is more like adult games we can play, and
- 8:01Speaker 1: I've got something for you. So if you want an
- 8:03Speaker 1: adult game, when I say that, I mean Sorbet. There
- 8:08Speaker 1: are many products there. If you've discovered something and it's
- 8:10Speaker 1: a must-have from Sorbet from clicks, throw it on the
- 8:13Speaker 1: WhatsApp line, please. 0829450940. Keyword is clicks. Name, ID number,
- 8:18Speaker 1: and your Sorbet faves. And you could be a winner
- 8:20Speaker 1: with clicks. Feel good. Pay less. Yes. KF94. 5, remember, T's
- 8:24Speaker 1: and C's are blind. How are we looking?
- 8:27Speaker 4: So on the R300 northbound ramp to the N1 inbound,
- 8:30Speaker 4: there's been an accident where one lane is obstructed. And
- 8:33Speaker 4: on the N7 south, another accident involving a truck in
- 8:36Speaker 4: the right lane at Bosmans Dam Road. On Nelson Mandela
- 8:39Speaker 4: Boulevard outbound, traffic slows down at Browning Road. And unfortunately,
- 8:43Speaker 4: some traffic lights are also bored. So they are Faulty
- 8:47Speaker 4: Traffic Lights in Salt River at Berkeley Road and Leespeak
- 8:50Speaker 4: Parkway and in Parklands at Sandown Road and Armstrong Drive.
- 8:53Speaker 2: My name is Cassidy Nicholson.
- 8:55Speaker 4: If you have any updates about what you're seeing on
- 8:57Speaker 4: the roads, just know I want to hear about it.
- 8:59Speaker 4: So pop me a message on 082-945-0940.
- 9:04Speaker 1: If you are bored, in unison, you can sing this
- 9:07Speaker 1: along with me. Do you mind? Come on. It's a
- 9:11Speaker 1: flash drive. KF94. 5. You win with clicks just after Bob Marley.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Let's get together and feel all right. Let's get together
- 9:29Speaker 1: and feel all right. Yeah, mine. Bob Marley, One Love.
- 9:32Speaker 1: I know you needed that song, and that's why I
- 9:34Speaker 1: produced it for you. Not the actual song, but just
- 9:37Speaker 1: got it out of the playlist for you because you
- 9:38Speaker 1: deserve it. That's all. Today for Clicks, it's about that
- 9:42Speaker 1: sorbet product, your must-haves. Let's hear it.
- 9:44Speaker 2: It's all about that winning feeling.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Because you could be winning 2,500 rands.
- 9:52Speaker 5: 2,500 rands.
- 9:53Speaker 1: In Clicks Club Card Cash Bag.
- 9:55Speaker 2: So you can feel good and pay less. on KFM 94.5. Nicole. Hi, Kla, how.
- 10:02Speaker 3: Are you?
- 10:04Speaker 1: I am feeling so liquor. I mean, it feels like
- 10:07Speaker 1: I'm on holiday with the kids, right? I mean, I'm
- 10:09Speaker 1: feeling so good. And that's why I just, I wanted
- 10:13Speaker 1: to give away a two and a half thousand cashback.
- 10:15Speaker 1: I was just thinking that maybe you could share your
- 10:17Speaker 1: sorbet must have. And what is it for you?
- 10:19Speaker 3: Oh, My go-to is the sorbet. So the lip balm,
- 10:24Speaker 3: the pineapple flavor, Carl, you just put that on. It
- 10:27Speaker 3: finishes any outfit. It's got anti-aging effects in it. And
- 10:31Speaker 3: ladies my age, we got to do with something like that, Carl.
- 10:33Speaker 1: So my lady's your age. What do you mean? You
- 10:35Speaker 1: don't sound your age if there's an age thing. Come
- 10:38Speaker 1: on now. I don't even hear it. Hey, you sent
- 10:40Speaker 1: me a picture of yourself with a lip balm. Okay.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I did.
- 10:43Speaker 3: I did.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Okay. So based on the picture you sent me, right,
- 10:46Speaker 1: 24 years old, how? No, I wish. I wish.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Let's add 11 years to that call.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Whatever. Come on. No, no. Can I tell you, it's
- 10:59Speaker 1: great to hear the fact that you had a sorbet
- 11:01Speaker 1: must-have at hand and ready for this.
- 11:03Speaker 4: I did.
- 11:03Speaker 1: And I think it was the universe. You know, I
- 11:05Speaker 1: told you about manifestation earlier. You did it. You did it.
- 11:08Speaker 1: You made it happen for yourself. And that's why, from
- 11:12Speaker 1: your lips to Clix's ears, you've just won a cashback.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Oh, my goodness. Thank you.
- 11:18Speaker 1: You're welcome. Thank you so much. No problem.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Oh, that's amazing.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Thank you, guys. What are you up to? Or are
- 11:23Speaker 1: you at work at the moment?
- 11:25Speaker 3: I'm working, Carl. I'm listening to you guys on the
- 11:28Speaker 3: radio here. I've got you guys on 24-7.

- 14:54Speaker 1: the millies over there that sweet corn came in a
- 14:57Speaker 1: very very healthy salad on the side there with a
- 14:59Speaker 1: little bit of feta and butternut too just very healthy
- 15:03Speaker 1: and very very just there was something about that was
- 15:06Speaker 1: so wholesome so i mean i'm sure this is part
- 15:08Speaker 1: of a big date night.
- 15:09Speaker 3: Right Oh, thank you so much. Yes, it definitely is. So, yeah,
- 15:15Speaker 3: it is. Yeah, we had that at our home. We
- 15:18Speaker 3: could not make it a part of our one year anniversary.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Well, congratulations, because you know what? I would like to
- 15:24Speaker 1: give you a little anniversary gift from Woolies. You've just
- 15:27Speaker 1: won a 5000 Rand voucher.
- 15:32Speaker 3: So much oh that absolutely made my day and yo
- 15:36Speaker 3: what a privilege to celebrate with.
- 15:38Speaker 1: You guys no I'm very happy that you included us
- 15:41Speaker 1: in the celebration I'm very honoured and I want to
- 15:43Speaker 1: say thank you and you know you've got many more
- 15:45Speaker 1: years ahead of you of trusting one another trusting in
- 15:48Speaker 1: your faith and I think that's really keeping you guys
- 15:51Speaker 1: together is that there's a solid foundation there keep on
- 15:54Speaker 1: holding on to it keep on choosing each other every
- 15:57Speaker 1: single day and there'll be many more Woolies weekends and
- 16:00Speaker 1: anniversaries in your future.
- 16:02Speaker 3: Oh, thank you so much.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Absolutely. What a privilege.
- 16:06Speaker 3: I'm so excited.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Good. Enjoy. Happy shopping. Thank you so much, Megan. I
- 16:10Speaker 1: appreciate that. How cool. We were all a part of
- 16:13Speaker 1: a one-year anniversary for Megan and hubby. So that was
- 16:17Speaker 1: very beautiful. Here's a fresh reason to stock up at Woolies.
- 16:21Speaker 1: It's from the 21st of September to the 4th of October.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Buy any four fresh vegetables and salads and get the
- 16:28Speaker 1: lowest priced item free. That includes prepared veg and salads too.
- 16:32Speaker 1: So grab your leafy greens, your favorite veggies, or an easy,
- 16:35Speaker 1: ready-to-go salad for the week and don't forget your favorite
- 16:38Speaker 1: person and sit down and buy four, get the lowest-priced
- 16:41Speaker 1: item for free, and make your Woolies shop go a
- 16:44Speaker 1: little further, perhaps even for an anniversary. It's fresh, it's easy,
- 16:48Speaker 1: and it's on Woolworths from 21 September to 4 October.
- 16:52Speaker 1: So make it a My Woolies Weekend. We don't live
- 16:54Speaker 1: in a world. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Tomorrow day, what
- 17:04Speaker 1: am I to do? Well, work for you, because I
- 17:06Speaker 1: know you've been working very hard, so allow me to
- 17:09Speaker 1: give you exactly what I found while I was working.
- 17:14Speaker 1: It's the flash drive, KFM 94.5. Just days after Preneutra
- 17:19Speaker 1: was discontinued in South Africa, there's already a potential buyer
- 17:23Speaker 1: knocking on PepsiCo's door. UK-based South African food company, Boltong
- 17:28Speaker 1: and Bangers, are planning to bring the banger back. The
- 17:33Speaker 1: company has been selling South African products in the UK
- 17:35Speaker 1: for 18 years and says it wants to bring together
- 17:38Speaker 1: South African experts to see whether the original Penutro can
- 17:42Speaker 1: be reproduced again. Sorry, I got so giddy. I was like,
- 17:48Speaker 1: you're on Monday. I must say something about this. I
- 17:50Speaker 1: saw it over the weekend. So there it is.
- 17:52Speaker 4: I'm not even interrupting because I'm just watching how excited
- 17:55Speaker 4: you are.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Because you really were going through it. You were in
- 17:58Speaker 2: a place.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Someone had the audacity this weekend to tell me, don't worry,
- 18:03Speaker 1: there's an alternative. So they gave me another brand and
- 18:06Speaker 1: another choice. And I was in disbelief. I'm like, what
- 18:12Speaker 1: do you mean?
- 18:12Speaker 2: What do you mean that there's a generic pre-neutral?
- 18:15Speaker 1: What do you mean? Why would you say that?
- 18:18Speaker 2: You are quite literally turning the stop.
- 18:21Speaker 4: No.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Why would you do that? They tried to do that
- 18:23Speaker 1: to me. Thank you so much for getting my back
- 18:25Speaker 1: on that.
- 18:26Speaker 2: I got you.
- 18:28Speaker 1: So another thing that I heard is that, remember I
- 18:30Speaker 1: told you about that massive pilot study they did at
- 18:32Speaker 1: DHL Stadium where they collected urine and they made fertilizer
- 18:39Speaker 1: for our soil so we can create more food. Because
- 18:41Speaker 1: you know that, I don't think you know about the
- 18:43Speaker 1: water scarcity and the food scarcity on our planet at
- 18:46Speaker 1: the moment. So we need to look at innovations and
- 18:48Speaker 1: see if we can recycle. Did you know that we
- 18:51Speaker 1: are closer... to recycling our own wastewater for drinking water. What?
- 18:58Speaker 1: For real? For real. Cape Town is moving ahead with
- 19:01Speaker 1: plans to turn treated wastewater into drinking water with the
- 19:05Speaker 1: city now starting the procurement process at the Fora New
- 19:09Speaker 1: Water Scheme is what they're calling it. The project will
- 19:12Speaker 1: take treated wastewater from upgraded Zantaflit wastewater treatment works and
- 19:17Speaker 1: put it through advanced purification to produce water that meets
- 19:21Speaker 1: South African and international drinking water standards. I have you know,
- 19:25Speaker 1: before you get freaked out about wastewater, that a lot
- 19:29Speaker 1: of other countries have been doing this for decades already.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Okay, I'd be interested to see how this whole thing
- 19:35Speaker 2: turns out.
- 19:35Speaker 1: The first phase is expected to provide up to 70
- 19:38Speaker 1: million litres a day. Cape Town already saves more than
- 19:42Speaker 1: 8 billion litres of drinking water every year by reusing
- 19:45Speaker 1: treated wastewater for things like irrigation and our industrial processes.
- 19:49Speaker 1: And as you can hear, even our P for fertiliser.
- 19:52Speaker 1: The city says the first water from the forest scheme
- 19:54Speaker 1: is currently expected in 2031. So we're heading toward that.
- 19:57Speaker 1: So we are going to be closer to, you know,
- 20:00Speaker 1: I was thinking that we're going to use wastewater. Imagine
- 20:02Speaker 1: the ads coming out to try and promote this for
- 20:04Speaker 1: the people to make them calm. Because I think that
- 20:07Speaker 1: the city of Cape Town, you're welcome to use me
- 20:10Speaker 1: as your ambassador for it. Because I think about this, right?
- 20:13Speaker 1: It's not waste water. It's wasty water.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Stop.
- 20:16Speaker 1: I'm just saying. There you are. It'd be great. Think
- 20:18Speaker 1: about the water.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Why would you play free? Don't do this.
- 20:24Speaker 1: This is the water that is purified.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Don't do this.
- 20:28Speaker 1: What?
- 20:29Speaker 2: Don't play this sound. Turn that off.
- 20:31Speaker 1: I thought there was... Sorry, did I get the wrong
- 20:33Speaker 1: sound effect? No, but there... There was supposed to be
- 20:35Speaker 1: a waterfall.
- 20:36Speaker 2: That was a different type of waterfall?
- 20:38Speaker 1: Well, with Wastey Water, you're in for a treat. It's
- 20:41Speaker 1: a water that's not just water. It's purified to perfection,
- 20:45Speaker 1: giving you a beautiful, smooth feel. That's why our water
- 20:49Speaker 1: is number one. Yeah, so I was thinking about playing
- 20:53Speaker 1: around with that. If they want to, they can use
- 20:56Speaker 1: me as their ambassador. I'm available for you, city of
- 20:58Speaker 1: Cape Town, when this happens. Because we do need to
- 21:00Speaker 1: save water. No, we do. Going into this season, you
- 21:02Speaker 1: can tell we didn't have enough in winter and we
- 21:05Speaker 1: don't want to look at future summers and being in
- 21:08Speaker 1: a massive scarcity. So on a serious note, we should
- 21:11Speaker 1: be saving. If you are freaked out by wastewater being treated,
- 21:16Speaker 1: then save the water that we have now, that pure
- 21:18Speaker 1: water that you flush your toilet with.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Time to put a brick in the cistern again.
- 21:24Speaker 1: You see, it might happen. So we must be very,
- 21:28Speaker 1: very careful. We have to be.
- 21:30Speaker 5: Yeah, Carl, imagine that drinking water with a tap and
- 21:34Speaker 5: you get this lacquer chocolate chip.
- 21:37Speaker 2: It's run through. Don't scare me like this.
- 21:40Speaker 1: It's run through an advanced process, Chris. Nothing like that.
- 21:44Speaker 1: It's advanced. It's microscopic. The way they do it overseas,
- 21:48Speaker 1: you should see the processings. I'm talking about to the
- 21:50Speaker 1: microscopic level of treatment and purification. It's going to be perfect.
- 21:55Speaker 1: And the color is even better than normal color. All right?
- 21:59Speaker 1: Stop it. It won't come out beige. Anyway. All right.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Gen Z hates lol. And I want to give you
- 22:13Speaker 1: some new things to use this week. They don't like
- 22:16Speaker 1: the lol. LOL. No, they say it's very millennial. So
- 22:20Speaker 1: they have a glossary of things that we should be using. Okay.
- 22:23Speaker 1: How about... L-A-L has been replaced by Gen Z. Gen
- 22:28Speaker 1: Z says you must use L-A-L, which is laughed a little.
- 22:31Speaker 1: All right. So laughed out loud, I think it's too
- 22:35Speaker 1: excessive for everything. You need something else. So they've done L-A-L. L-I-M-H,
- 22:41Speaker 1: laughed inside my head, keeping it subtle. You know, you
- 22:44Speaker 1: don't want to show too much emotion. You don't, unless
- 22:46Speaker 1: you need a day off. Then, depressed, but in a
- 22:50Speaker 1: silly way, is D-B-I-A-S-W. Basically, the word bias in between
- 22:55Speaker 1: D and W. That's what it is, all right? What
- 22:58Speaker 1: the hell? Sure. W-T-H-S. You can use this while you're
- 23:02Speaker 1: texting now. Air came out of my nose. You know the... Yeah.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Mildly entertained That's Akuman As in A-C-O-O-M-N Now I have
- 23:14Speaker 1: you know When I made curry this weekend I used
- 23:16Speaker 1: Akuman as well Then Laughing by obligation L-B-O That's what
- 23:22Speaker 1: happens When someone needs to respond S-C Sensible chuckle L-U-T
- 23:29Speaker 1: If you don't think a joke is funny Then you'll
- 23:31Speaker 1: say like Let's unpack that L-S-I-D-C Laughing so I don't
- 23:36Speaker 1: cry T-J-N-W That joke needs work These are all the
- 23:42Speaker 1: things replacing lol by the way Bringing this up in
- 23:45Speaker 1: therapy B-T-U-I-T B-T-U-I-T A-Y-F Are you flirting? Cackling in a
- 23:55Speaker 1: witchy way C-I-A-W-W Hanging by a thread Because you're laughing
- 24:00Speaker 1: so hard H-B-A-T H-B-A-T And I-S-T If it's really good
- 24:06Speaker 1: I'm screenshotting this.
- 24:09Speaker 2: I have, I've, I've got a request.
- 24:11Speaker 1: Go for it.
- 24:11Speaker 5: Please.
- 24:12Speaker 4: How about instead of changing millennial lingo, you work on
- 24:15Speaker 4: your skills to answer a phone, like a phone call.
- 24:19Speaker 4: We have bigger, we have bigger problems than, than changing lol.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Lol is fine.
- 24:25Speaker 1: You know what?
- 24:26Speaker 2: Lol is perfect.
- 24:27Speaker 1: WTHS. Sorry, I'm really getting into a lingo.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Don't, don't.
- 24:32Speaker 1: It's 40 old.
- 24:33Speaker 2: You cannot subscribe. What are you talking about?
- 24:36Speaker 4: No.
- 24:36Speaker 3: LBO.
- 24:37Speaker 1: I will lol.
- 24:38Speaker 2: I will keep lolling.
- 24:41Speaker 1: L-A-L. Stop this. I have to.
- 24:45Speaker 2: I know.
- 24:46Speaker 1: I know you have to.
- 24:48Speaker 5: P-I-A-W-W-T.
- 24:51Speaker 1: There we go. You see, you're getting into it. I
- 24:53Speaker 1: know you are.
- 24:54Speaker 2: It just seems so, like, just, it's so intense. I
- 24:58Speaker 2: have no words.
- 24:59Speaker 1: H-Pet.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Because I'm just like.
- 25:02Speaker 4: H-Pet.
- 25:03Speaker 2: It doesn't have the same ring to it.
- 25:06Speaker 5: Ah.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Akuman A-C-O-O-M-N A came out Yeah so they're changing things
- 25:16Speaker 1: up Thought I'd let you know That's what I found
- 25:18Speaker 1: during my work As I worked For you You know.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Who didn't work?
- 25:23Speaker 1: Who?
- 25:24Speaker 2: Gen Z's because they were making all these changes.
- 25:27Speaker 1: You know what L-U-T Let's unpack that I'm getting.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Used to it now Your next move should feel as
- 25:31Speaker 2: bold as.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Unbeliever, Imagine Dragons. It's four o'clock and I'm not even
- 25:38Speaker 1: done yet. I still have so many tracks to give you. Plus,
- 25:42Speaker 1: I know you want to win a very special game
- 25:45Speaker 1: called The Concept. I know you do. I understand. And remember,
- 25:48Speaker 1: when I offer dry wood, that is like offering gold.
- 25:51Speaker 1: It's like offering platinum, especially to a South African. And
- 25:54Speaker 1: I know for a fact that most of your wood
- 25:56Speaker 1: was burnt up in the loss yesterday. Because I think
- 25:59Speaker 1: there's something about getting the fire raging after a Springbok
- 26:02Speaker 1: loss to Australia. I understand. So you want to replenish.
- 26:05Speaker 1: That's why you play the concept that's coming up inside
- 26:06Speaker 1: this hour. Then I would like you to also just
- 26:09Speaker 1: feel this with me. It's a session of we listen
- 26:12Speaker 1: and we don't judge. We love giving you the platform
- 26:15Speaker 1: to share whatever you want to share, whether it be
- 26:17Speaker 1: a confession, an unpopular opinion, it doesn't matter. You need
- 26:21Speaker 1: people to listen to you. We are people. We listen
- 26:23Speaker 1: and we don't judge. Never ever. Not even when you
- 26:26Speaker 1: send stuff like this. Hi guys.
- 26:28Speaker 2: So we listen and we don't judge.
- 26:30Speaker 5: I know it is hay fever season, but can people
- 26:34Speaker 5: please stop snorting everywhere, all the.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Time, all day.
- 26:41Speaker 1: I've been asking this of Cape Town for a very
- 26:42Speaker 1: long time. Also for the hay fever. So here's the thing, Cassidy.
- 26:46Speaker 4: Hello.
- 26:46Speaker 1: You heard that, right?
- 26:47Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Please.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 26:49Speaker 2: Hey, don't look at me. Look at the air con.
- 26:51Speaker 6: What's up with parents when there's sweets and treats laid
- 26:57Speaker 6: out for the adults and the children come and they
- 27:00Speaker 6: take something out, they lick it and don't like it
- 27:04Speaker 6: and they put it back in the bowl and the
- 27:06Speaker 6: parents says nothing.
- 27:07Speaker 2: I've said it before and I'll say it again.
- 27:09Speaker 4: You can't eat at everybody's house.
- 27:11Speaker 1: I've seen it happen. It's usually when, you know, a
- 27:14Speaker 1: child goes for something that looks good. They discover that
- 27:16Speaker 1: maybe it's got like coconut on it or like it's
- 27:18Speaker 1: a lamington and they go for it. They have a nibble.
- 27:21Speaker 1: They're like. You know, that sort of thing, right?
- 27:29Speaker 2: The musk sweets, man.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Yo, they get you because they look so liquor and
- 27:34Speaker 1: then you get into them. Why does it taste like dust?
- 27:37Speaker 1: You know, there was actually one. So there were It's
- 27:40Speaker 1: like you know Pink cashews now There was like white
- 27:43Speaker 1: and pink Yeah But there was a peanut In one
- 27:45Speaker 1: of them And a very hard outer shell But then
- 27:48Speaker 1: there was just The peanut And that strange Artificial flavour
- 27:52Speaker 1: Didn't go well together Oh I couldn't I couldn't handle
- 27:55Speaker 1: that Did you spit it out? Oh no Well not
- 27:58Speaker 1: in a way people could see Okay I'd find a
- 28:00Speaker 1: pot plant That was nearby Or something And I'd just Daddy.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Daddy Daddy Daddy.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Daddy And then I'd find a pot plant somewhere. And
- 28:11Speaker 1: then I'd have to decide to confess to anybody that
- 28:15Speaker 1: I could. Yeah. Yeah. But a pot plant was where
- 28:17Speaker 1: I could reach as well. Yeah. I couldn't reach anywhere
- 28:20Speaker 1: else to spit it out. I remember those good old days.
- 28:24Speaker 1: I just spit it out. The good old days. That
- 28:28Speaker 1: was 2025. Anyway, traffic. Sean Kingston, beautiful girls. Hey, talking

- 29:06Speaker 4: the lanes. On the N7 south, there's another accident involving

- 30:09Speaker 1: with Cassidy, who has been really wanting... to bring out
- 30:12Speaker 1: something to the table. Remember, please don't judge her. Go
- 30:15Speaker 1: for it. The floor is yours.
- 30:16Speaker 4: I feel like if you work in a position where
- 30:19Speaker 4: you can, I don't know, push your power like a
- 30:22Speaker 4: power play and you're having.
- 30:24Speaker 2: A bad day, maybe just take a breath. Maybe just
- 30:27Speaker 2: take a husa.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Okay.
- 30:28Speaker 4: Right? I go to the airport this morning because I
- 30:30Speaker 4: arrived in Cape Town this morning. But it's school holidays,
- 30:34Speaker 4: as we know, and everyone is coming to Cape Town.
- 30:38Speaker 4: I am at the airport, the time I'm supposed to
- 30:41Speaker 4: be at the airport, which is 14 minutes before your
- 30:44Speaker 4: boarding starts, right? And I'm there standing in the lines.
- 30:49Speaker 4: The lines were so long that someone eventually had to say, oh,
- 30:54Speaker 4: if you are boarding this flight, this flight, you need
- 30:56Speaker 4: to come to the front because otherwise you're not going
- 30:58Speaker 4: to make your check-in time. Okay. This person decides to
- 31:02Speaker 4: have a whole go at me and shouts at me
- 31:04Speaker 4: and says.
- 31:04Speaker 2: You make bad, bad, bad decisions and whatever. And I
- 31:07Speaker 2: was just like, whoa.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:09Speaker 2: What must I do?
- 31:11Speaker 4: So if you are in a position where you can
- 31:13Speaker 4: exert your power and you're having a bad day, just hoosa.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Because you never know who you're talking to. Also me,
- 31:20Speaker 2: maybe I should just let it go.
- 31:24Speaker 1: We promise not to judge you. So we're not going
- 31:26Speaker 1: to do that. We'd listen to you. And I'm sorry
- 31:28Speaker 1: that you went through that situation. I need to just
- 31:29Speaker 1: get that off my chest. No, no, no. That's what
- 31:30Speaker 1: the session is for.
- 31:31Speaker 2: That was crazy.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Go for it, girl.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Why are you screaming at me in the airport?
- 31:35Speaker 1: Don't worry about it. It's okay.
- 31:38Speaker 5: I have a question.
- 31:38Speaker 1: You have questions?
- 31:40Speaker 5: So why did the person ask or make that statement
- 31:44Speaker 5: to you?
- 31:45Speaker 2: I have no idea. You should make? They said, you
- 31:48Speaker 2: make bad, bad, bad decisions.
- 31:49Speaker 4: And they went on to say that they shouldn't even
- 31:51Speaker 4: be letting me board the flight. And I feel like
- 31:54Speaker 4: that person wanted a fight. They wanted me to, you know,
- 31:57Speaker 4: hit back at them and then they could just exert
- 31:59Speaker 4: their power and say, I'm not letting you board.
- 32:01Speaker 2: But I just kept quiet. I let them shout at me.
- 32:05Speaker 2: And then there we go. I hope they have a
- 32:08Speaker 2: better day.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Okay, I'm sorry. I have to. I'm sorry, Cassidy. What?
- 32:12Speaker 1: All right. You said you were at the airport 40
- 32:14Speaker 1: minutes before the time.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Yes.
- 32:15Speaker 1: But you know it's an airport on a Monday morning.
- 32:17Speaker 1: And you know that the lines are going to be long. Well,
- 32:19Speaker 1: I've gone before on Monday. So if you're on time,
- 32:21Speaker 1: you're late, right? So essentially, if you're going to get
- 32:25Speaker 1: there 40 minutes before, like the boarding is 40 minutes.
- 32:28Speaker 1: You should get there before. Before.
- 32:31Speaker 4: But I mean, I'm a seasoned professional at this point,
- 32:34Speaker 4: taking planes on a Monday, and I've not experienced something
- 32:36Speaker 4: this bad.
- 32:38Speaker 5: Okay.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Because when you told me about this earlier, I thought
- 32:42Speaker 1: that you were in the line and it was 40
- 32:44Speaker 1: minutes to go and the guy shouted at you. But
- 32:46Speaker 1: now I realize that you probably were like a minute
- 32:48Speaker 1: to go, right?
- 32:49Speaker 4: What?
- 32:49Speaker 1: When you got to the gate.
- 32:51Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 32:52Speaker 4: Like I'm standing in the line for like a decent
- 32:54Speaker 4: amount of time. But these lines are going around the.
- 32:57Speaker 2: The sections.
- 32:58Speaker 5: Okay, hold on. Were you in the line where you
- 33:00Speaker 5: still have to go through security or were you in
- 33:03Speaker 5: the line.
- 33:03Speaker 1: To get the bags? To check in my bag.
- 33:05Speaker 2: To check in my bag.
- 33:06Speaker 1: See what I mean?
- 33:07Speaker 5: Okay. That does change things even for me.
- 33:11Speaker 2: Okay.
- 33:13Speaker 5: So I've been to Joburg twice this year as well. Now,
- 33:17Speaker 5: I am that person and no one knows. They go like,
- 33:21Speaker 5: why are you like this? But I actually arrive at
- 33:24Speaker 5: the airport... in that two hour window, let's say, you know,
- 33:28Speaker 5: two hours before your local flight and three hours before international,
- 33:31Speaker 5: I'm there two hours before the flight. And every time
- 33:36Speaker 5: for both times that we came back from Joburg, there
- 33:39Speaker 5: was always two or three people that were like, sorry, sorry, sorry,
- 33:42Speaker 5: excuse me, excuse me, pushing, pushing through to get to
- 33:46Speaker 5: the gate because they arrived there. They knew their flight
- 33:50Speaker 5: was at nine o'clock. So why aren't you there at, 7.30,
- 33:54Speaker 5: especially Mondays and Fridays because those are the busy travel days.
- 33:59Speaker 1: You know, everybody learns something. Number one, emotional intelligence for
- 34:03Speaker 1: the guy at the gate, whoever spoke to you like that.
- 34:05Speaker 1: They shouldn't speak to anybody like that. No matter what
- 34:07Speaker 1: type of day they had, no matter how late somebody is,
- 34:09Speaker 1: you are still part of the service industry. So no
- 34:13Speaker 1: matter what type of day you've had, please be courteous
- 34:16Speaker 1: to whoever lands and that sort of thing. And then
- 34:18Speaker 1: there was learnings for you.
- 34:20Speaker 4: Yeah, look, I'll take whatever I need to take on
- 34:22Speaker 4: the chin. I just feel like if you're in a
- 34:24Speaker 4: position of power at any point, don't knock down.
- 34:27Speaker 1: 100%.
- 34:27Speaker 5: There, I agree with you.
- 34:29Speaker 2: You didn't need to make a scene like that. You know,
- 34:32Speaker 2: it's for what? For why?
- 34:34Speaker 4: You could have just had a simple conversation with me,
- 34:36Speaker 4: but you decided to shout at me, and I hope
- 34:37Speaker 4: you feel big, and I hope you feel strong, and
- 34:40Speaker 4: I hope the rest of your day has been great.
- 34:42Speaker 1: I hope whatever they've gone through, they've gone through as well.
- 34:45Speaker 1: But sorry that you had to go through that to
- 34:47Speaker 1: start the day with that type of stimulus. Not liquor.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Can I just jump in here for my session? Thank
- 34:53Speaker 1: you so much. If anybody intimidates you, if anybody makes
- 34:57Speaker 1: you feel like I'm in an authority position, just make
- 35:02Speaker 1: them run.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Like, hey, I want to see you run.
- 35:08Speaker 1: I want to see you run. No, it doesn't matter.
- 35:09Speaker 1: They can run a couple of meters. That will show
- 35:12Speaker 1: you everything you need to know and suddenly the intimidation
- 35:14Speaker 1: will go down significantly.
- 35:15Speaker 2: That is so great.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Think about that for a second.
- 35:17Speaker 2: I'm going to imagine you running.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Some of the most powerful people and they do their
- 35:22Speaker 1: thing and they sit at that desk and I'm like,
- 35:23Speaker 1: I just want to see you run, man. And as
- 35:25Speaker 1: soon as you watch them run, I promise you, they
- 35:28Speaker 1: will reveal themselves to you and then you'll be like, ah,
- 35:31Speaker 1: we're good. Don't worry about it. Because I think that's
- 35:34Speaker 1: a very true test of someone. If you're truly an
- 35:38Speaker 1: authoritative person, Just run for me quickly, man. I just
- 35:41Speaker 1: want to see something quick. But you have to listen
- 35:48Speaker 1: to me because you're very bad. Then you watch them run.
- 35:53Speaker 1: And then I just think, can I tell you the
- 35:55Speaker 1: true test of somebody? Watch them run. Okay. All right.
- 35:59Speaker 1: I promise you, if you feel, if you want to
- 36:00Speaker 1: watch anybody here in this space, run. It's going to
- 36:03Speaker 1: change the way you see them. It's going to soften
- 36:04Speaker 1: the way you see them and you're going to be like,
- 36:06Speaker 1: I'm going to be okay.
- 36:07Speaker 5: It's okay.
- 36:07Speaker 1: I know you can shout at me at work and
- 36:09Speaker 1: you can be my supervisor or my manager, but I
- 36:12Speaker 1: think the best thing to do, your supervisor, your manager,
- 36:14Speaker 1: just watch them run 10 meters. It will change your
- 36:18Speaker 1: entire perspective on them. It'll soften them for you no
- 36:22Speaker 1: matter how they've treated you at work. Make your boss
- 36:24Speaker 1: run in front of you for 10 meters. It's my
- 36:28Speaker 1: challenge for you for the week.
- 36:29Speaker 2: Try to get your boss running.
- 36:30Speaker 1: Record it as well. It's going to soften all of
- 36:34Speaker 1: the feelings.
- 36:35Speaker 2: Okay.
- 36:36Speaker 5: But see, the problem is you guys aren't in office
- 36:38Speaker 5: during the day.
- 36:39Speaker 1: I am.
- 36:39Speaker 5: So can you imagine me going to like Henny and go,
- 36:42Speaker 5: run 10 meters for me? I want to form it.
- 36:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I just want to see something real quick.
- 36:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I just want to see something.
- 36:49Speaker 5: Henny, quickly run through EWN.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Yes, sir. Let me see you run, man. I want
- 36:54Speaker 1: to see. You've seen people run. Yeah. They reveal who
- 36:57Speaker 1: they truly are when they run 10 meters. You see
- 37:00Speaker 1: who they truly are. When those arms are flapping about
- 37:03Speaker 1: or those legs are hardly even moving side to side
- 37:05Speaker 1: and you realize, oh, all of this power you've had
- 37:07Speaker 1: over me. Now I've watched you run. We're good. Yeah,
- 37:11Speaker 1: it's okay. We're good. I've seen this now. We're fine.
- 37:15Speaker 2: We're cool.
- 37:16Speaker 1: We're chilled. It's a little challenge for you for this week.
- 37:19Speaker 1: That's how it goes.
- 37:19Speaker 5: See, now I feel we need to go film each
- 37:21Speaker 5: of us running.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Eh?
- 37:23Speaker 2: I run liquor.
- 37:24Speaker 5: We need to film each of us running.
- 37:25Speaker 1: Oh, do you?
- 37:26Speaker 5: Jodie's joining us.
- 37:27Speaker 2: Yes, I run liquor.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Do you? Yeah.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Why would you laugh? Take me seriously.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Yo, that is a case in point moment right there.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Please go film a running outside, Beatrice. Please.
- 37:45Speaker 5: Okay.
- 37:46Speaker 1: We'll film it now. Thank you so much. We listen.
- 37:50Speaker 5: And we don't judge.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Somebody find my way. Somebody who hopes to find his
- 38:01Speaker 1: way to the concept. It's Jeremy. Welcome.
- 38:03Speaker 2: Hi, good afternoon, Cole.
- 38:06Speaker 1: Are you well today, sir? How's the Monday going? Licker?
- 38:10Speaker 1: Not too bad.
- 38:10Speaker 2: Thank you, yourself.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Brilliant. Having a good time now that I'm chatting to you.

- 40:15Speaker 2: Cat, not cat.

- 41:41Speaker 1: the person I found on the WhatsApp line. Anybody's number's
- 41:45Speaker 1: fair game. Let's see who it is.
- 41:49Speaker 5: Kirsten speaking.
- 41:50Speaker 1: Hello? Kirsten? Hi. Yes. Hi, it's Carl Wastey from KFM 94.5. Oh,
- 41:56Speaker 1: my word. It's Kirsten.
- 41:59Speaker 5: Hey, fantastic.
- 42:00Speaker 1: How are you? Now I'm great. You answered your phone.
- 42:03Speaker 1: Thank you very much for being a great sport. I
- 42:04Speaker 1: have a favor to ask of you. Do you mind
- 42:06Speaker 1: picking one of our tracks to play after news? We've
- 42:09Speaker 1: given you a whole selection. We want to sell each
- 42:11Speaker 1: one to you, and then it's over to you to
- 42:13Speaker 1: make that selection. Is that fine?
- 42:14Speaker 2: 100%.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Great. Cassidy?
- 42:19Speaker 2: Hi, Kirsten.
- 42:19Speaker 4: How are you?
- 42:21Speaker 1: I'm good and you, Kirsten? Are you well?
- 42:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm good. Thanks. So the song that I have
- 42:27Speaker 2: is such a feel-good song.
- 42:29Speaker 4: Regardless of where you are, what you're doing, if you
- 42:31Speaker 4: hear the song, it always puts a smile on your face.
- 42:34Speaker 4: It's Lola's Theme by The Shapeshifters.
- 42:43Speaker 1: Oh, there we go. Listen to Kirsten sing along. You
- 42:45Speaker 1: know what I'm saying? This is good.
- 42:46Speaker 5: I'm already in it.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Kirsten, I don't know, back in the day, I'm certain.
- 42:52Speaker 1: You sound like someone who had a very good time.
- 42:54Speaker 1: You went to these parties and sometimes you had the
- 42:56Speaker 1: parties where they just had the song that was like,
- 42:58Speaker 1: it captured an entire summer. In fact, probably two summers
- 43:01Speaker 1: when it eventually dropped. Roger Sanchez gave you a song
- 43:04Speaker 1: called Another Chance and we were taken away. Honestly. That's
- 43:16Speaker 1: exactly what we did when we heard the song the
- 43:18Speaker 1: first time. Everybody, woo! Especially when the drop happened. All right.
- 43:21Speaker 1: So there we go. Two bangers and we're not stopping there. Pietrus.
- 43:25Speaker 5: I'm bringing the third banger.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Go for it.
- 43:27Speaker 5: So it's a new song by the DJ Glockenbach. I
- 43:32Speaker 5: practice that name now a lot.
- 43:33Speaker 1: They're a bit of a group now. It's a producing group. Yeah.
- 43:37Speaker 5: Okay. I can't pronounce big words. It only turned five
- 43:39Speaker 5: o'clock now.
- 43:40Speaker 1: Glockenbach.
- 43:40Speaker 5: But anyway, he teamed up with a dear friend of Carl's.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Ours. He's our friend. He's not just my friend. He's
- 43:47Speaker 1: everyone's friend. He's your friend, but my whole past. He
- 43:49Speaker 1: literally was at your wedding.
- 43:50Speaker 5: What? Whoa, whoa. He's my whole past. And yes, he
- 43:54Speaker 5: did send a special message to me and my husband
- 43:59Speaker 5: at our wedding.
- 44:00Speaker 1: He was at your wedding? Like, I consider him at
- 44:02Speaker 1: your wedding.
- 44:03Speaker 5: I still have the video.
- 44:04Speaker 1: In fact, when I asked him to do that, he said, like,
- 44:06Speaker 1: I wish I was there. I would have come.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Ha!
- 44:09Speaker 3: But he must be a young artist.
- 44:11Speaker 5: It's Callum Scott.
- 44:13Speaker 1: Callum Scott, man. He's been here several times. Rumor has
- 44:17Speaker 1: it that he might actually be here again next year.
- 44:19Speaker 1: But I can't say that live on radio. Anyway, here
- 44:23Speaker 1: we go. All right, Kirsten, it's over to you. You've
- 44:36Speaker 1: got a very, very important choice. Are we going shapeshifters,
- 44:39Speaker 1: Roger Sanchez or Glockenbach featuring Callum Scott? You choose.
- 44:44Speaker 3: I'm definitely going with shapeshifters.
- 44:46Speaker 1: Kirsten, you're my girl. Yes, Kirsten! And that means Kirsten
- 44:52Speaker 1: gets a new track tomorrow, which is very exciting. Kirsten,
- 44:54Speaker 1: thanks a lot for being a great sport. You're amazing.
- 44:56Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 44:57Speaker 5: No, thanks, sir. You guys are amazing.
- 44:59Speaker 1: Oh, look at that chow. Wow.
- 45:00Speaker 2: Now I'm blushing.
- 45:01Speaker 1: I'm also blushing. Why are we blushing? Okay, just while
- 45:04Speaker 1: we're here, EWN traffic is with pick and pay. I'm
- 45:07Speaker 1: still blushing. Now, Cassidy, what has four wheels and is
- 45:11Speaker 1: driven by a champion?
- 45:13Speaker 5: You.
- 45:13Speaker 1: No. The Flash World. On KFM 94.5. Here we go.
- 45:22Speaker 1: Brand new week. Timothy Henshaw-Dan. Hello.
- 45:27Speaker 5: How's it?
- 45:27Speaker 1: How are you? Fantastic. Welcome to a fresh new week
- 45:30Speaker 1: of individuals such as yourself after Instafame. And you know
- 45:33Speaker 1: how this works. It's pretty much five questions, 30 seconds,
- 45:37Speaker 1: and one little word and all the required answers. Apparently,
- 45:39Speaker 1: you're a diesel mechanic, Timothy. Yes, Paul. Good man. Good man.
- 45:44Speaker 1: I think it's a great, great job. I wish I
- 45:48Speaker 1: understood diesel a bit more. The only thing I do
- 45:50Speaker 1: is TDI. That's all I see. That's as far as
- 45:54Speaker 1: my knowledge goes. But I think it's going to be great.
- 45:56Speaker 1: You're going to have to put the pedal to the
- 45:57Speaker 1: metal here because you're up against someone like Jodie Funroy
- 46:01Speaker 1: from Silver Sands. Jodie. Hi, Vesa.
- 46:04Speaker 3: How are you doing?
- 46:05Speaker 1: Phenomenal. Apparently, you are currently between job opportunities, looking for
- 46:09Speaker 1: your next adventure. Unfortunately, yes. Fortunately? I say it's fortunate.
- 46:14Speaker 1: You know why I say it's fortunate? Because you don't
- 46:17Speaker 1: even know what your next job is going to be yet.
- 46:20Speaker 1: So you sit there and you're thinking, you know what?
- 46:22Speaker 1: It's going to be something exciting. Like I'm going to
- 46:25Speaker 1: make it important because it is important to me. I
- 46:28Speaker 1: think so. And what type of field are you looking
- 46:30Speaker 1: for a job in, sir?
- 46:32Speaker 3: Automotive. I've been a driver, quality controller, anything in the
- 46:37Speaker 3: automotive industry.
- 46:38Speaker 1: Give me a second.
- 46:38Speaker 3: Penal beating and yeah.
- 46:40Speaker 1: Timothy, do you know anybody in the industry who would

- 47:17Speaker 1: who can show confidence with clients and anything that they
- 47:21Speaker 1: do if you think about it so already you're showing

- 47:46Speaker 1: about ris and you will be fine. You got 30 seconds.
- 47:49Speaker 1: Make sense? Yes, sir. All right. Good luck to you.
- 47:52Speaker 1: 30 seconds. Your time begins in three, two, one. Let's go.
- 47:57Speaker 1: In Greek mythology, he flew too close to the sun.
- 48:00Speaker 1: I think it is. Sorry?
- 48:04Speaker 2: Pythagoras.
- 48:05Speaker 1: Incorrect. I'll move on. A Mediterranean island country. Skip. The
- 48:11Speaker 1: capital of France. Skip. Ancient Egyptians wrote on this. Skip.
- 48:23Speaker 1: Limes and lemons. Limes and lemons. All right. No problem. No,
- 48:30Speaker 1: let's get into it. All right. Greek mythology. He flew
- 48:34Speaker 1: too close to the sun. It's Icarus, all right? A
- 48:36Speaker 1: Mediterranean island country is Cyprus. The capital of France is Paris.
- 48:42Speaker 1: Ancient Egyptians wrote on papyrus and limes and lemons are
- 48:45Speaker 1: part of citrus. Right, let's see if your opponent does
- 48:50Speaker 1: any better. Are you ready for this, sir? Are you
- 48:53Speaker 1: good to go? All right, Timothy. Timothy, you know what?
- 48:58Speaker 1: I'm not going to say that yours is any easier,
- 49:00Speaker 1: my friend. All right, cool. All right, so good luck
- 49:03Speaker 1: to you. It's just, you know what? That's the thing
- 49:05Speaker 1: about general knowledge. It's general. And with a bit of

- 49:11Speaker 1: in three, two, one. Let's go. A book of synonyms. Skipped.
- 49:20Speaker 1: This is happening in 87 days. Christmas. The womb. Skip.
- 49:30Speaker 1: A biological name for an arm bone.
- 49:33Speaker 2: Skip.
- 49:36Speaker 1: The V in HIV. A book of synonyms. Let's go
- 49:47Speaker 1: through it. Thesaurus. Book of synonyms. 87 days. Yes, you're right.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Charismus is coming. The womb is the uterus. A biological
- 49:56Speaker 1: name for an arm bone. The humerus. It's the arm,
- 49:59Speaker 1: the bone in the upper part of the arm. And
- 50:01Speaker 1: then the V in HIV is indeed a virus. Jody,
- 50:05Speaker 1: thank you very much for playing, my friend. And all
- 50:06Speaker 1: the best with job hunting. If anything pops up on

- 50:22Speaker 1: Flash World Champion! Same score!
- 50:24Speaker 4: All right.
- 50:25Speaker 1: Appreciate it. Let's do it again tomorrow. Same time, same
- 50:27Speaker 1: space on your flash drive in KFM 94.5. I'm Carl,
- 50:42Speaker 1: this is Cassidy And what I'd like to do is
- 50:44Speaker 1: I want to get you into a bit of a
- 50:45Speaker 1: zone To allow you to tell me whatever's on your
- 50:49Speaker 1: mind But today I want to bring something back That
- 50:52Speaker 1: I haven't done in a while And I think it's
- 50:54Speaker 1: time that I bring it back On 0829450940 I do,
- 51:00Speaker 1: I want to It's been a long time And it's
- 51:03Speaker 1: about time that we do this So here's the thing
- 51:07Speaker 1: You remember a certain song Cassidy, that I've brought to
- 51:11Speaker 1: your table before. It's a very important one that I
- 51:14Speaker 1: know that has changed your life forever. And I want
- 51:17Speaker 1: to bring psychology back to those roots today.
- 51:21Speaker 5: I do.
- 51:23Speaker 1: Cassidy.
- 51:26Speaker 2: Cassidy. Cassidy. Cassidy. Cassidy.
- 51:39Speaker 1: So here's the thing. I need your full name, please.
- 51:43Speaker 1: I need a name and a surname. And then you
- 51:44Speaker 1: can tell me, waste him having a bad day. My
- 51:48Speaker 1: name is Will Isaacs. And then I could play you
- 51:52Speaker 1: a Will Smith song.
- 51:54Speaker 2: Okay.
- 51:55Speaker 1: I could play you a Will Young song. You know
- 51:59Speaker 1: what I'm saying? I could play you any track in
- 52:01Speaker 1: that way. So there will be a connection between the
- 52:04Speaker 1: song you need and your name. I believe that we
- 52:07Speaker 1: were named... Very very deliberately Even if our parents didn't
- 52:10Speaker 1: know what they were doing Like for you Do you
- 52:13Speaker 1: know what your story of your name is?
- 52:14Speaker 2: No I think it just sounded cool What?
- 52:18Speaker 4: Yeah my mom's very big on like the aesthetics And my.
- 52:23Speaker 1: Dad No I don't believe that actually Your mom is
- 52:25Speaker 1: very deep in terms of what she believes.
- 52:27Speaker 2: Yeah that's why my second name is a crystal.
- 52:29Speaker 1: She likes the grounding And she likes that you know
- 52:33Speaker 1: just Gluten free and that sort.
- 52:35Speaker 2: Of thing Yeah Well, I don't know. Anyway, Cassidy is.
- 52:39Speaker 1: From, it's got Gaelic roots.
- 52:41Speaker 2: Yes, I know that.
- 52:41Speaker 1: It derives from the old Irish surname. It's pretty much
- 52:45Speaker 1: descendant of Cassaday. And the root word is Cass, which
- 52:50Speaker 1: pretty much means twisted or curly. Don't laugh. I didn't laugh.
- 52:56Speaker 1: Don't laugh. I had an air con. So the name
- 53:00Speaker 1: Cassidy essentially means curly head, clever or ingenious, by the way.
- 53:06Speaker 1: Which is great. Okay, I'll take it. So popular short
- 53:09Speaker 1: forms include Cassie or Cass. And yeah, it is actually
- 53:14Speaker 1: also very gender neutral. So that's a name for anybody.
- 53:19Speaker 1: For you, for anybody.
- 53:21Speaker 3: Cassidy.
- 53:22Speaker 1: All right, so twisted is basically. Stop it. Clever. Clever.
- 53:27Speaker 1: I'm only reading. I'm going to get to that part
- 53:30Speaker 1: of the sentence.
- 53:31Speaker 6: Right?
- 53:32Speaker 1: Twisted. Twisted.
- 53:34Speaker 2: And now me, the other ones.
- 53:35Speaker 1: Curly head, clever and ingenious. Just give me a moment
- 53:38Speaker 1: to take a beat. Not everything has to be so
- 53:41Speaker 1: super fast. There we go. So, send me your name
- 53:46Speaker 1: and share a little bit about what you're going through maybe,
- 53:51Speaker 1: you know, tough day, starting to keep the kids entertained
- 53:55Speaker 1: in a very short, weird holiday that we get before
- 53:57Speaker 1: the fourth term. Whatever it is, just it is about sharing.
- 54:01Speaker 1: But I believe that in your name, it has the
- 54:04Speaker 1: link To the song that you're going to need today
- 54:07Speaker 1: I believe that today That's what I believe So send
- 54:10Speaker 1: through And I'm looking forward to Yeah Playing you a
- 54:15Speaker 1: song that's connected to your name That's all Oh my
- 54:18Speaker 1: word I just thought about a song That I can
- 54:21Speaker 1: play for you This is going to be good Alright
- 54:24Speaker 1: So based on your name I know you didn't say
- 54:26Speaker 1: anything like about About your current state of mind But
- 54:32Speaker 1: Based on the definition of your name This is a
- 54:39Speaker 1: good song for you.
- 54:40Speaker 2: Do you know this song?
- 54:42Speaker 1: No. That's Twisted. One of your name definitions by Keith Switt.
- 55:08Speaker 1: That's a perfect one. And you love the name Keith.
- 55:11Speaker 2: Yeah, because your dad's name is Keith.
- 55:13Speaker 1: Yes, and?
- 55:14Speaker 2: And he follows me on TikTok.
- 55:16Speaker 1: And it's what you open your doors with. So that's
- 55:19Speaker 1: why it all works.
- 55:20Speaker 4: You're so lucky that I enjoy your company. You're so lucky.
- 55:23Speaker 4: Those are fighting words.
- 55:26Speaker 1: Turn off my mic before I say something. 0829450940. It
- 55:31Speaker 1: is psychology and your name is the odds. Low, low, low, low, low.
- 55:37Speaker 1: It's on your show, show, show. The Flash Drive, KFM 94.5.
- 55:40Speaker 1: It's time for the one-up where Pietras gives us a
- 55:42Speaker 1: category and this lovely lady and I, Cassidy and me,
- 55:47Speaker 1: Carl Wastey, we decide to one-up one another. Pietras, what's
- 55:50Speaker 1: your category for the day? So we're getting straight into
- 55:53Speaker 1: it today. Let's go.
- 55:54Speaker 5: Let's play a game again.
- 55:55Speaker 1: Okay, what's that?
- 55:56Speaker 5: Terrible movie synopsis.
- 55:59Speaker 1: Okay.
- 55:59Speaker 5: Synopsis.
- 56:00Speaker 1: Synopsis, there's the plural. Nice. Yeah. Okay.
- 56:04Speaker 5: My English is up.
- 56:05Speaker 1: That's fine. The last time you asked us to say, hey, like,
- 56:09Speaker 1: here's a synopsis of a movie and then we had
- 56:11Speaker 1: to guess what the movie is. Yes. Okay, cool. No, man.
- 56:20Speaker 1: Let's get one of these vibes going.
- 56:26Speaker 2: Whoa.
- 56:29Speaker 1: Tomatoes. Sorry, this is very epic. I apologize. This is
- 56:41Speaker 1: too much. No.
- 56:43Speaker 5: No, it's the perfect amount. I love the theatrics.
- 56:45Speaker 1: Okay.
- 56:48Speaker 2: Sure.
- 56:48Speaker 1: To come up with this on the spot is tough, though.
- 56:51Speaker 1: Just give me a. Actually, if you have anything off
- 56:53Speaker 1: the top of your head, if you want to go
- 56:56Speaker 1: for it, that's fine.
- 56:57Speaker 2: Okay. Yeah.
- 57:00Speaker 4: Forrest Gump obsesses over sporting equipment.
- 57:08Speaker 1: Castaway.
- 57:08Speaker 5: Yes.
- 57:10Speaker 1: Wilson!
- 57:11Speaker 5: I remembered Wilson and the ball.
- 57:13Speaker 1: I couldn't get to the movie. Oh, my gosh.
- 57:16Speaker 2: It's a great movie, actually. I should watch it again.
- 57:20Speaker 1: It actually rotated the other day on the pay channels. Really? Yeah. Okay.
- 57:25Speaker 1: I just saw like a glimpse or two of it
- 57:27Speaker 1: because that was such a good movie. Yo, Forrest Gump.
- 57:34Speaker 1: I remember that movie, you know, where Forrest Gump literally
- 57:38Speaker 1: went through war to save a sibling. That was crazy.
- 57:44Speaker 2: Captain Philip?
- 57:44Speaker 1: No. Oh. That is I am the captain now.
- 57:48Speaker 2: Look at me. I'm the captain now.
- 57:51Speaker 1: Yeah. Tell you what, let me make it easy for you.
- 57:54Speaker 1: Forrest Gump went through literal war to save Odysseus. No, man.
- 58:02Speaker 2: This on the end of my.
- 58:06Speaker 2: No, man. Do you have it? Do you know what
- 58:08Speaker 2: it is?
- 58:08Speaker 4: It's on the tip of my tongue, but I can't.
- 58:10Speaker 1: It's one of the best movies ever made, to be
- 58:13Speaker 1: honest with you.
- 58:14Speaker 5: It won't be Forrest Gump.
- 58:15Speaker 1: No, no, no, no. Because Forrest Gump goes through war, right?
- 58:18Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 58:21Speaker 1: To rescue Odysseus.
- 58:24Speaker 5: I literally, I'm seeing, this is Matt Damon is the
- 58:27Speaker 5: other guy, isn't it? In this movie?
- 58:29Speaker 1: Yeah, Odysseus.
- 58:35Speaker 5: I see them on the beach.
- 58:36Speaker 1: There was a bootleg version of the movie as well.
- 58:40Speaker 1: It was quite dodge. I'll tell you about it when
- 58:42Speaker 1: you get this. What is it? No, tell me.
- 58:44Speaker 2: I can't.
- 58:47Speaker 1: Saving Private Ryan. Oh, God.
- 58:49Speaker 5: Oh, I know the book.
- 58:50Speaker 1: Do you know the other one? They changed those last
- 58:53Speaker 1: two words. Anyway, right. What else you got there while
- 58:56Speaker 1: we're here?
- 59:01Speaker 2: Willy Wonka and Jay Gatsby mourn the death of their mother.
- 59:08Speaker 5: I got this one.
- 59:09Speaker 1: Isn't this?
- 59:10Speaker 5: What's Eating Gilbert Grape?
- 59:11Speaker 4: Yes.
- 59:12Speaker 1: What a classic movie to pull out. Where did you
- 59:14Speaker 1: pull that out from?
- 59:16Speaker 2: I love that movie.
- 59:17Speaker 1: You just pulled that out of nowhere.
- 59:19Speaker 5: I have my brain.
- 59:19Speaker 1: How about a criminal uses a brass goods dweller to
- 59:27Speaker 1: catfish a woman into royalty?
- 59:34Speaker 2: Isn't this the Beauty and the Beast?
- 59:37Speaker 1: No.
- 59:41Speaker 2: A criminal.
- 59:43Speaker 1: Yeah, a criminal uses a brass goods dweller to catfish
- 59:46Speaker 1: a woman into royalty. Criminal obviously wanted royalty. Or love,
- 59:53Speaker 1: we don't know.
- 59:56Speaker 2: No, you're a lot better at this than I am.
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: You really give good descriptions that confuses the And then
- 1:00:04Speaker 5: we kick ourselves when you tell us the movie name.

- 1:00:45Speaker 5: At stand-up comedy.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: The unemployed Napoleon is quite crazy. We're trying.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: You want us to tell you?
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: Yes, please.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: The Joker with Joaquin Phoenix.

- 1:01:24Speaker 5: But now the thing is, it could be Terminator 8.
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: It could be Terminator 1.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: But I like how you finished it to save it
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: from ChatGPT.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: That's correct.
