- 0:02[SPEAKER_00]: I'm so scared to know what the heel version of me is.
- 0:09[SPEAKER_03]: Men to health is a lie.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_00]: So let's name the elephants in the room and make some room.
- 0:14[SPEAKER_00]: So heal and you will vibrate on the level of what you desire not where you are.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_03]: You've been to a lot of the way you've been through war, you know trauma, loss.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_00]: If you are not healing, then you are helping and you're helping you by hiding it.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_00]: And you're hiding it by not naming it.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_00]: The reason why our friendships, relationships, business partnerships crash is because if you want the love, if you want the relationship, if you want the friendship,
- 0:44[SPEAKER_03]: I know you want to watch this next video, but listen, if you are an entrepreneur, business coach, business consultant, or a small business owner who has a story and wants to learn how to create multiple strings of income from your story, I need you to text me right now, my book.

- 1:13[SPEAKER_03]: But I've also helped a lot of my clients, take their expertise and put it into a story, then create multiple streams of income from that.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_03]: So I wanna help you do the same thing.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_03]: So text my book to six, four, six, six, eight, seven, four, one, five, two.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_03]: I, let's go back to the video.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_03]: All right, so welcome to another awesome episode of Inside the Vault with Ascash, the greatest money mindset show on the planet, today's guest is a force of transformation, a Marine Corps, veteran, certified, psychotherapist, emotional intelligence coach, and one of the most powerful voices disrupting the conversation around healing.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_03]: He's the creator of the back panel.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_03]: of burdens, experience, the founder of wealthy retreats and the visionary behind a bold new movement that is shaking up everything you thought you knew about men to health.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_03]: His message, men to health, is a lie!
- 2:27[SPEAKER_03]: but not the way you think.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_03]: From war zones in Afghanistan to emotional landmines in our everyday relationships, he walks through fire literally and figuratively and came back with a mission to help people heal from the inside out.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_03]: without staying stuck in a diagnosis.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_03]: He's here to help you recognize, reframe and release what's holding you back and he's doing it through books, retreats, courses, and the movement call home.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_03]: We heal out loud every day.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_03]: Ladies and gentlemen, round of applause for my brother, Byron Hocker!
- 3:07[SPEAKER_00]: All right, that's the best intro I've ever had, so take it around, man, that's amazing.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: I appreciate the love.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I appreciate what you do and who you are because when we think about this mental health movement, when we think about your approach to wellness, I think it's different.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's needed, I think it's something that we haven't seen in a very, very long time.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_03]: It's specifically for our community, like it's so needed in our community.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_03]: And so I want to start before we jump into your background and who you are in your words, who is Byron Hopkins.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_00]: Just a man.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_00]: Just here to help and serve the people.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_00]: Again, like you said, I'm a Marine, I'm a teacher, I'm a servant.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_00]: So I just really want to be here for us.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: our community because a lot of problems that we have like you're saying from mental health isn't just a black, our white thing is a global thing with especially in our community.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: We are not taught to focus on emotions.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_00]: You know, we start talking about emotions, especially men in like now we cool.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_00]: So, Byron Hopkins is just here to serve.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a servant of the people and I just want to help every single person.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_00]: grow through what they go through because those things in life that we push down or we just ignore or we drink it away, we smoke it away and we have all these deterrence and then you come back around and everywhere you go there you are.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_00]: So let's deal with it now that what we have these
- 4:36[SPEAKER_00]: men and women that are more whole and more healed, moving forward, a more healed person heals their home, that home that's healed, heals the community, the community that's healed, heals the city, that city that's healed, you know, it just keeps going on and on and on.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: And it sounds super woo-hoo, but you heal one person, you change one person's life, you don't know what that's going to affect, so that's what I'm here for.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_03]: How'd you become a psychotherapist?
- 5:01[SPEAKER_03]: How'd you get into Marines?
- 5:03[SPEAKER_03]: You know, working in the streets, you know, you grew up in, you know, your parents' adopters, you grew up in a, you know, great, great family structure.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_03]: You know, you know, like, like, what's the, what's the, what's the, what's the problem?
- 5:16[SPEAKER_00]: I sound like the flexible, all right, P, my man, Malcolm, but, um, not it a,
- 5:23[SPEAKER_00]: It really came from a need.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_00]: This version of me, this is what I needed when I was younger.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_00]: So this is the version and this is also the version I needed as an adult as well too.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_00]: So I grew up in LA, half LA, half Colorado.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_00]: That's why you don't hear too much of the LA.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_00]: You're a little bit more of that Colorado than LA, but growing up in the hood.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'm the only person in my family that's in the military and the Marine Corps, like only cousins, everybody.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_00]: I'm the only person that graduated college.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_00]: I'm the only person that talks and acts like me in my immediate family, in my entire family.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_00]: So to be different, I used books.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_00]: I jumped into knowledge early, I was the only kid.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_00]: I snuck out in high school to go see a less brown speaking, I changed my life and I was like, whoa, this dude was moving a whole crowd.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: He was like, who's the one I'm gonna touch?
- 6:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, I'm the one, that's!
- 6:11[SPEAKER_00]: and I had to go back to school, but really growing up at L.A.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_00]: in Colorado, I got to see two different dichotomies and I'm like, well, we're in the hood, we ain't cringe at all, we ain't comfortable.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_00]: My whole family gang bangin' everybody, like, you call them right now as I was good, how am I, all of that?
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, oh, I don't know a square bear over here.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, yeah, and it took me so long to embrace what I was and who I am.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: I like comic books and anime and things like that.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, I got shot off their hooks because that's what made me see further than my circumstances.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_00]: And that's another reason why I teach the way I teach and the things that I teach on is because when I go and I speak at high schools, I speak at colleges and I see these young athletes and these young people and it's just like,
- 6:50[SPEAKER_00]: They can only see what's in front of them are what's on Instagram.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_00]: So when you're looking at these things, you're going, okay, well that's it.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_00]: I used comic books and TGI Friday to say, oh, I could be Uncle Phil.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_00]: I could, okay, oh, I can do that too.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_00]: And then my favorite comic book was like X-Men because they were different.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: And they just found their own academies like, oh, you can do that too.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_00]: All right, well, I'm on a journey to find these other X-Men.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: Wanted journey to find for a long time I was chasing Uncle Phil and you build cars be he's cliffhustable Yeah, I build cars Let's correct that.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but for so long.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm on a journey to find Uncle Phil until I found out like I'm Uncle Phil Oh, okay.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_00]: I'm I'm that person that can bring this knowledge and that comfort and that safety and that love
- 7:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, well, how else can I fix this?
- 7:34[SPEAKER_00]: And just getting more knowledge coming out of the Marine Corps, which sounds to the Marine Corps, but they don't teach you a motion.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_00]: That would teach us that we are the best fighting force in America.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_00]: You are the best killers in the world.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody can stop you.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_00]: You are amazing.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_00]: They give us three months of that.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_00]: That's why our bootcamp is the longest.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_00]: So after three months, it's like, okay, I'm training, I'm doing my thing.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: I know how to shoot, I know how to do all these things.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: I'm, you know, I'm an expert rifleman.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_00]: I've never shot a weapon in my life.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_00]: I'm even growing it up in that way.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_00]: They're my family, they didn't let me.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like, okay, then when they get out, I was like, okay, there's gonna be three months of training before we get out.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's like two weeks of, don't yell at civilians and don't cast out them and try not to drink as much.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_00]: See you later.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_00]: So you were programmed to be a killer.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but not deep programs to be a civilian.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: There's no transition program or how to be normal again, because you have all these things and when you go to Afghanistan, I was 24, I'm a 24th birthday, and Afghanistan, and I was like, this is different, but you see certain things, you appreciate certain things, you can watch a fellow Marine, his truck gets blown up and you're like, all right, cool, I hope he's good, and that's just normal.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_00]: But it's de-sensitized even back here in the States too where we see so many things on social media and it's normal.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_00]: And your emotions aren't there and it's nothing as our let's keep it moving.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_00]: But for me to look at those things and come back and we lost, we call this garrison here in America.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_00]: This is garrison.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_00]: So we lost more people coming back here in garrison.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: then we did when we were in Afghanistan.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_00]: So coming back here, it's self-inflicted gunshot wounds.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's DUIs.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_00]: It's drinking.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's my wife cheated on me.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: It's all these things.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_00]: You don't know what to do.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_00]: So especially for our military, looking at that and having that base of, this is the most extreme I've ever been.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_00]: This is the most extreme things I've ever seen.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_00]: How do we take it on the other end of it to say, let's call these people down, let's call myself down, because the Marine Corps did one thing, it is show me the highest version of me on every level to a times 10 on every single level, and then it's like, what's the drop off for that?
- 9:39[SPEAKER_00]: And a lot of my brothers and sisters in military,
- 9:41[SPEAKER_00]: They lose purpose when they get out and it's like what do I do now?
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: I'm important I'm protecting America.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'm doing all these things and now it's just like okay now I'm depressed.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna smoke.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna drink.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna take some pills a lot of us are hurt I got blown up and I had three did for knee surgeries.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I got ACO PCL MCL Back flat feet everything
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: But it's like there's emotions attached to that that you hold in your body.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_00]: There's certain smells or certain sounds that I can hear and I'm like, it takes you back.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_00]: But in order for me to be the person I am here, I had to create a different person and leave him in Afghanistan.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_00]: If I didn't, he would have came back with me.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_00]: And that person can't function in normal reality because we're asked to do things over there that you can't do in America, that you're not supposed to do.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_00]: So becoming a psychotherapist was out of a necessity.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_00]: It was out of a need.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_00]: I wanted to understand more of myself, the people around me, how I grew up, grown up at LA as my parents are doing this.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't see a great loving household unless it was on TV.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_00]: And that's anybody in my family.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm acting like, why is he doing that?
- 10:49[SPEAKER_00]: Why am I making these decisions?
- 10:51[SPEAKER_00]: And I just started asking myself more questions.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_00]: And I just happened upon psychotherapy.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like,
- 10:55[SPEAKER_00]: It's good, I like this, isn't it?
- 10:57[SPEAKER_00]: Is it sitting on a couch like, yeah, let me talk to you about my feels like, no, I like psychotherapy because I can give you actual tools.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't want to prescribe anybody anything anyway because I can't prescribe you things, but I can give you actual tools and give you an opinion, but I can give you tools and say, hey, it sounds like this.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: Have you tried this?
- 11:13[SPEAKER_00]: These are practical things that I can give you to say, hey,
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe this will help.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: I see this maybe this will help.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: So it's more like this like what we're doing other than laying on a couch and somebody just spilling everything to you.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because I can't necessarily help you that way.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_00]: I can just listen.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: I want to help.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_03]: That's powerful.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_03]: You start, you know, you open your book with a really bold state.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_03]: The mental health is a lie.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_00]: What do you mean by that?
- 11:41[SPEAKER_00]: what exactly what it says, because that's what we've been taught.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_00]: Now, before everyone attacks me and before everyone goes crazy, and says that there's different positions on mental health.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_00]: We have to think about it as, okay, so if you have anxiety, if you have depression, these are mental health issues, but you don't think these things.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_00]: If you're depressed, I'm not thinking depression.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_00]: I feel depressed.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not thinking anxious thoughts all the time.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_00]: I'm feeling anxious.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_00]: Now, those thoughts come along with it.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: But at the time in the moment, you're feeling these things.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_00]: I was depressed.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't know.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_00]: I gained like 50 pounds after I got him, I was 280 pounds, I'm 65.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: That's a lot from my body.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just sitting there depressed and I didn't even realize it.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: Until one day I figured out it wasn't happy.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_00]: nothing made me happy.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just sitting here like Washington TV and there's nothing.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_00]: It's just blank.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, oh, this is what depression fell.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like a heavy blanket every single day and I'm walking out of the house with.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_00]: So looking at that and going, oh, I feel these things, not even knowing that that's what started me on the path to where I'm going.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_00]: This is misdiagnostment to health, because especially for us, they go PTSD for military and black people in hook, got PTSD.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_00]: I'm saying whether in New York, LA, there's certain things that you know when that you feel that you react to and your body's reacting.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_00]: Your emotions, you're feeling these things.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_00]: This isn't just a thought like you're not thinking.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's just an automatic reaction.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: Like, why do you do this?
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, it's a reflex.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: That's an emotional reflex because your body is remembering your body is keeping the score.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_00]: Your body knows, hey,
- 13:14[SPEAKER_00]: When I feel this, this is how we act.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_00]: Awesome.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_00]: Because that's why I open books saying, oh, mental health is a lie.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'll prove it.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_00]: I promise you, I'll prove it.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_00]: Number one, you know 70% of your thoughts aren't thoughts.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_00]: They're emotional thoughts all day long.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_00]: So 70% of your thoughts aren't emotional.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_00]: Do you have to think, what one of my feeling?
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: You're feeling old thoughts.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_00]: You're feeling old feelings.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_00]: You're feeling things that were passed down to you from your parents, from your upbringing, from all these things.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_00]: So if 70% of my thoughts aren't mental, they're emotional.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_00]: I'm thinking and feeling emotionally, maybe I should tap into these things and go, oh.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe it's not meant to help.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe I need to feel different.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_00]: And that's why I focus on emotional intelligence.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm an emotional intelligence practitioner, meaning I can teach you how to be more balanced in your emotions is saying wait a minute.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_00]: you have feelings, you have emotions, how do I handle my emotions?
- 14:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's all EQ is.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_00]: How do I handle my emotions?
- 14:12[SPEAKER_00]: How do I handle your emotions?
- 14:13[SPEAKER_00]: How do I balance them?
- 14:14[SPEAKER_00]: And a public kind of standing towards like, hey, do I freak out?
- 14:18[SPEAKER_00]: Somebody cut me off and drive in here.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_00]: Like, yeah, do I crash out on them real quick?
- 14:22[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's not that serious.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's really not.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: Well, once you master those things and have balance to where I have emotions, I know what to do with them.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_00]: And I know how to handle you to where I go.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_00]: If you say some crazy to me online, I ain't got to react to you.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have to show up to every argument that you're invited to.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not RSVP into this drama.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_00]: I'll see you later.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_00]: That's really what it is.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_03]: Nice, powerful.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_03]: That's powerful.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_03]: Talk a little bit, I mean, you talked early about the transition, right, from the military to civilian life, you've been through a lot, right?
- 14:59[SPEAKER_03]: You've been through war, trauma, loss, but just still, despite that, right?
- 15:06[SPEAKER_03]: Just still in the mode of service, you're still doing retreats, coaching books.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_03]: And you talk a little bit about that, that, you know, why you're having, you know, why you're on the mission to heal because of, you know, I don't have an necessity.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_03]: But what, what's the ultimate driver, you know, being as you've been through all that stuff, like what's the ultimate thing that's driving you to do this work?
- 15:35[SPEAKER_00]: That's a great question.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_00]: I thank for me.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_00]: My number one thing is, I wanted to help me first, and I got sick of bleeding on people who didn't cut me.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_00]: And I felt like that's a lot of people.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_00]: If I know from myself, if I can stop putting band-aids over gunshot wounds,
- 15:51[SPEAKER_00]: I know what it did for me.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_00]: What can I do for everyone else?
- 15:54[SPEAKER_00]: How can I serve people?
- 15:56[SPEAKER_00]: What is the greatest service I can give everyone?
- 15:58[SPEAKER_00]: Because if I'm looking at myself and I'm going, like you said, I've gone through a lot.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_00]: I've gone through a lot.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_00]: And even in my adult years, I've gone through a lot of things.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_00]: And what keeps me motivated is saying,
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: If I can heal through all of my things and all the people that I coach, I have seven eight figure making clients, I have sports clients, I have a lot of people that I coach one on one and seeing the difference between everybody is just, hey, how do I not just cope by how do I grow through these things that I'm responding, whether it's relationships, whether it's people, you know, a lot of people think like even for yourself in your wife, you're not in a relationship with her, you're in a relationship with her nervous system.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_00]: I'm reacting to you.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_00]: Well, why are you reacting this way?
- 16:41[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I like to find out as the why.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_00]: There's always a pinch to the outch.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_00]: You only see the outch.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_00]: What was the pinch back there?
- 16:48[SPEAKER_00]: So you're going and stepping on these landpies and these trauma triggers that people have and it may look like somebody crashing out online or saying something crazy or it might just look like
- 17:00[SPEAKER_00]: somebody walking in and shooting up a place because they don't know how to control and feel a certain way.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_00]: So I would like to sound as well.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_00]: But I would like to just heal one person out of time and it just grows exponentially to where you're just like, okay, if we all knew how to balance ourselves emotionally, maybe some of us wouldn't be in this position that we are in, maybe a lot of my family members wouldn't be sitting in jail for life.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_00]: For things that take a second, you know, and I'll always say do not make a long-term decision on a temporary emotion Take a second breathe.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_00]: It will pass So that is a driving force for me because I know what it's done for me and I just get excited like I know I can help everybody else too, you know But I can only help the people who want to be help, of course
- 17:44[SPEAKER_00]: But this is something that I'm extremely passionate about.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_00]: It's an obsession to where I know what it's doing for me.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_00]: And the more I'm growing, the more knowledge I get every day, the more I can help.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_03]: And you know, you talk early about having clients, you know, a figuring out figure, right?
- 18:01[SPEAKER_03]: What is the biggest misconception?
- 18:06[SPEAKER_03]: that you would say that you've noticed as a pattern when dealing with those high net worth and high income earning individuals.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, one I can say, a lot of people say, money here is everything.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_00]: It's not more money, more problems, it's more money, more managing.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_00]: Because they're a survivor remorse.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_00]: The survivors remorse for, I got this money, I got to bring everybody in the hood with me, especially for us.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_00]: It was like, well, you got a million dollars, you got all your problems solved.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_00]: I have now a accountant, I've got a lawyer, I've got all these people to pay and then I've got to make sure people are robbing me and then also I haven't healed yet, so these people that I'm working with, it's not on major things, it's one person on how to celebrate, I don't know what to celebrate.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_00]: I'm getting all this money, you know, it's cool.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just going to pass.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_00]: Why?
- 18:54[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't feel like anything because you haven't celebrated it.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_00]: You haven't celebrated yourself.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_00]: If you don't celebrate yourself, it's everything's going to be connected to money.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_00]: There is a younger version of you that was poured.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_00]: I was in the hood that won it the light that you live right now.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_00]: You're not celebrating for grown up you right now.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_00]: You are celebrating that child, you are celebrating that teenager, that dream to being you.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, man, I was dying to get to you and you never stopped and said, hey, we made it.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_00]: We did it.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_00]: This is great.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_00]: This is awesome.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_00]: Celebrate yourself and give your body reasons to feel great to celebrate because you'll continue chasing these milestones.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_00]: And then once you hit them, it's just empty.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_00]: Don't chase the milestone, chase the feeling.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_00]: How do I feel with this?
- 19:36[SPEAKER_00]: Stop.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_00]: Does this make me happy?
- 19:38[SPEAKER_00]: why am I doing it there?
- 19:39[SPEAKER_00]: I'm doing this because it makes me happy.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_00]: So when I have these, I have athletes as well too, they've won championships and don't feel anything because you've never gone back and say why am I actually doing this?
- 19:51[SPEAKER_00]: Who am I doing this for because if you're doing it for your family, if you're doing it for your friends, if you're doing it for everybody other than you, then it's going to continue to be hollow.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to continue to be nothing until you go back and
- 20:04[SPEAKER_00]: basketball and my backyard at eight years old on a court that I drew on.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_00]: And I was imagining these moments.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_00]: Then go back and feel that.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_00]: You did it.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_00]: Tap yourself on the bat because everybody's in this grind culture.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_00]: To where it's like, I'm going to keep going.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to keep going.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_00]: Look up the definition of grinding.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_00]: That is wearing down on yourself.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_00]: Don't grind.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_00]: You can hustle don't grind.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_00]: And that's a huge part of the misconception of money here is everything.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't cause you're not healed yet.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_00]: All money is going to do with cover up things.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_00]: And it's going to show exactly who you really are.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_00]: Or how healed you are, how healed you are not.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_00]: So money doesn't cure everything.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, promise.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I love that because a couple of things are unpacked because I felt like if I were to ever talk,
- 20:51[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I don't even have to go back as far as 60.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_03]: If I spoke to my 20-year-old self, like that's what I would tell my 20-year-old self to slow down and live in the moment, right?
- 21:06[SPEAKER_03]: Part of the reason I would tell myself that is exactly what you said.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_03]: I was so focused on destinations that I'd never celebrated.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_03]: I'd never felt like,
- 21:18[SPEAKER_03]: Like once I got to one place, I kind of felt like I had to because I proved I could be successful there.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_03]: I had to go to the next place.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm not even planted in the first place that I got.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_03]: I'm already thinking about the next place that I go and which is what makes what made.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_03]: you know, my journey empty, you know, and it wasn't until, you know, I honestly, I mean, I was like recent, maybe like five years ago, maybe where I started to finally, you know, realize that, you know, you're this guy, you know you've done all these things, you know you've never really sat in, enjoyed it,
- 22:07[SPEAKER_03]: You know, and, and, and, and, you know, get head down, head down, head down.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_03]: I just was going, going, going, going.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and so I appreciate that because I think a lot of people do believe that, you know, more money, you know, you know, you know, you know, the money you have the the faster you'll be able to cure yourself.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_03]: Where that's not even necessarily the truth, right?
- 22:28[SPEAKER_03]: Um, can you talk a little bit though about like, why is it?
- 22:32[SPEAKER_03]: Cause so, so I have two thought processes if you will.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_03]: why I just keep going harder and harder and harder.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_03]: One, and maybe you could tell me which one you think it is, part of my mind says that I don't celebrate because I had my goals are so big that if I sit and celebrate, I think I'm going to talk myself out of actually reaching to that next level if you will, right?
- 23:11[SPEAKER_03]: This is another part of me that also...
- 23:16[SPEAKER_03]: which might be trauma, right?
- 23:18[SPEAKER_03]: And so I'm sitting on your couch today.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_03]: And I'll tell you the story, so I grew up low income, never really had anything.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_03]: And I remember, I think I was like 15 or 16, I think.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_03]: And I was working some of you in New York and I had got paid, so it was the first time that I had bunny that could do whatever I want with us.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_03]: So I went to Reading Pennsylvania and bought a bunch of we went to buy clothes because I made money before because I was pack a bagging off stuff But it was like money to eat.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_03]: It wasn't nothing.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_03]: It wasn't nothing.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_03]: It was a success.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_03]: You know, substantial.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_03]: So I go to Reading Pennsylvania.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_03]: That's what it had to outlet to stuff right and I started buying a whole bunch of clothes and I remember coming back home and you know again, it's my first time like fresh
- 24:13[SPEAKER_03]: I don't want to say that it was Averex jeans.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_03]: It was like Averex was poppin' at the time.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_03]: At Averex jeans, I had like, I was fresh.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, yeah, the whole thing.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_03]: I'm go outside.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know why it was somebody that I trusted, somebody that thought he actually was like a big brother to me because, and I don't wanna say a big brother, but he protected me, let's just say it, right?
- 24:40[SPEAKER_03]: So anytime anything happened in the hood, you're not saying this is the person I would go get to go beat somebody up for me.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_03]: Like we had, you know, cause I was younger.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_03]: Go outside and I'm feeling fresh, I'm like happy.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_03]: Like I'm excited and I'm like happy to like that.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_03]: I got these clothes.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_03]: But I remember myself and he was jealous.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_03]: This person that I thought was supposed to be my protector.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_03]: Somebody that I looked up through, some of like I knew his family, like he's older than me, so he wasn't my friend, but it was somebody that I looked up to.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_03]: And he got so mad that he cut my jeans.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, like he took a razor out and he cut my jeans.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_03]: And if this wasn't, it wasn't until recently that I started thinking about that.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, there's a pattern.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_03]: that every, I don't like to show my excitement, that even when I'm excited about reaching a goal, I keep it to myself, I don't, you know, I don't outwardly like to show excitement for an achievement because I think that there's a boy in me that's afraid that somebody's gonna try to take that away.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_00]: you think somebody's always going to cut your jeans.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_00]: That's a hundred percent.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_00]: We'll say you got the obvious.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_00]: So again, thank you for sharing that.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_00]: That's what a lot of us go through.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_00]: I had something similar like that happened to me too.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_00]: So let's double click on a couple things.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_00]: So cut into jeans and everything.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_00]: That's 100 percent trauma.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's 100 percent.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_00]: There's his voice.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_00]: That's really loud.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_00]: That says
- 26:14[SPEAKER_00]: Remember when we touched the stove and it was hot, don't ever touch it again.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_00]: You brain wants to protect you, because you had a super high Adobe meme.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like, come on, man, this is great.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_00]: Your body's filling it.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my God, we fresh, we put it on.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_00]: We earned this fit.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_00]: As soon as you come outside, it was like, nah, bro, quarters, I'll hit you hard.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_00]: My jeans is cut.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, so that's a lesson that you learn that your body remembered.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, if you show off too much, some might go cut you.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_00]: Whether that's physically, emotionally, mentally, you're going to get cut.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_00]: Don't show off too much, especially for us in our culture, especially in New York, LA.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_00]: These are the cultures that go, don't go too crazy because some might go and do something to some might's going to say something to sort of more you show off, do more your target.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_00]: Well, Frank Lucas, the loudest one in the room is the weakest one in the room.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_00]: not always, not if you're saying the right things, not if you're loud and not boasting about yourself, but you're loudly helping someone, you're loudly thanking someone, you're loudly grateful.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_00]: Don't just come in with a big fur coat on it.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_00]: I was just chilling with the chinchiller, you know, if it's our packet, you've got to pat it, but you know what I'm saying?
- 27:13[SPEAKER_00]: But really that is a hundred percent.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly that voice that's in your head that's saying, I can't show off, I can't do these things.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_00]: So you have to go back and say, why is the easy question?
- 27:24[SPEAKER_00]: Why?
- 27:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_00]: Well, because he's going to do that, that's one person.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_00]: And that's another thing that I have to help people with as well, too, is, you know, that's the part of survivors of Morris.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_00]: You're successful now.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_00]: Some of your friends couldn't go.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody can't go.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_00]: So even right there, you were climbing a mountain.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_00]: And you're like, come on, bro, you helped me.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_00]: I'm helping you out.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't do the work.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_00]: To breathe at that high altitude you've already climbed up and you've been trained in a climb You've been working you've been grounded.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_00]: You finally got the money.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_00]: I can climb out Everest He can't go past that hill Everybody can't go with you.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_00]: He was like, oh, man.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_00]: This is my day one.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but sometimes your day one
- 28:02[SPEAKER_00]: are keeping you at day one.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_00]: If your day ones are keeping you at day ones, it's okay to grow.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's okay to grow past your friend to when that moment happened.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_00]: He's a wait a minute.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_00]: I know Ash as this.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_00]: I'm comfortable with him there.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_00]: It's okay to grow past the level of comfort that people have for you.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_00]: This is where I'm at cash.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm comfortable with him there.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_00]: So when you fill that within your family, within your friends, within your circle, these are my day ones.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_00]: But they're comfortable with you here.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_00]: You make them uncomfortable up here.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_00]: So it's okay to grow past that discomfort that they have.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_00]: That's on you.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_00]: That's not has nothing to do with me.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_00]: So celebrate.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's okay.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_00]: I promise you it's okay because the more you celebrate, it's how I got big goals.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, why do you set all these goals?
- 28:46[SPEAKER_00]: So if you set all these goals, you set them for a reason.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_00]: Once you hit them, celebrate them.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, want to the next one.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_00]: But take a second.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_00]: Because your body is just going to go.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_00]: There's no difference between getting to the goal or planning the goal.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's so much stress.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_00]: There's so many things you have to earn your dopamine.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_00]: When we
- 29:01[SPEAKER_00]: jump onto our phone right away in the morning.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_00]: But when we're hitting flood, it was so many things.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_00]: But if you take a second and go, okay.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_00]: What do I want today?
- 29:09[SPEAKER_00]: What's going to happen today?
- 29:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_00]: Not tomorrow.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_00]: Today.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_00]: What's going to happen today?
- 29:13[SPEAKER_00]: I have to plan for these things.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_00]: And if I celebrate the things that I plan for, I get more reasons to celebrate to where your body hit gets hit and infuses so much dope at me like this feels great.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_00]: It's the happy Jane.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's the happy drug.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's dopamine.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's fantastic.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_00]: You have to earn it though because if you're not celebrating, you're going to just keep crashing.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be, oh this is great.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to keep doing this.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_03]: And so what is the solution though, right?
- 29:38[SPEAKER_03]: Because if
- 29:39[SPEAKER_03]: If it's trauma, and I have to celebrate, but if I celebrate around the wrong people, they could potentially crash what I got going on.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_03]: So how do you, like, what's the solution to that?
- 29:56[SPEAKER_03]: Do I now look for a new set of people?
- 29:59[SPEAKER_03]: Do I learn how to celebrate?
- 30:01[SPEAKER_03]: in silence, like, that's a great question.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_00]: That's what a lot of people are dealing with, two no matter what level they're on.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_00]: It's not getting new people, but I can love you from a distance.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_00]: I got family members that I love for a distance from a distance.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_00]: I love you to death, but you got to stay over there, because you're going to mess everything up over here because we are, if we look under a microscope and look at our fingers, we are vibrating.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_00]: So for vibrating, that means we are on a frequency.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_00]: So your frequency is what you are frequently seeing.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_00]: If you are frequently seeing negativity, if you are frequently seeing all the things that you don't want.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_00]: That's what's going to happen.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_00]: Change your frequency.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_00]: I cannot tune into jazz and rap at the same time.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be static.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of us are stuck in that static.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_00]: so elevate your frequency.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_00]: If this is where I want to be, if this is who I am, you have so many people around you that are fantastic, that are great.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_00]: Because you elevated to that, this is what Ash is vibrating on.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_00]: My frequency says this and everybody else will just fall off because.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_00]: They'll just follow, because they can't climb.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_00]: If you keep climbing, they'll just stop.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_00]: Wherever they can breathe it, they'll stop.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_00]: I can't breathe up here.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_00]: So it's not getting new people.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_00]: You're already vibrating on that level.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_00]: So just continue to do that.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_00]: Love people from a distance.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_00]: It's a good way, man.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_00]: You go mess up everything.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_00]: That's going to happen over here.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_00]: And you have to protect yourself and healthy boundaries, which is hard.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_00]: and a lot of cultures, but healthy boundaries is something that you have to practice and go, I can love you and you cannot be in my space and those things can be okay.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_00]: Whether it's a parent, whether it's a brother, sister, anybody.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_00]: This is, okay, let's say you have a bus.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody has a mental or emotional bus.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_00]: I have a sprinter now.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_00]: I had a school bus, big yellow school bus, everybody's on it.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody can tell me where to turn, where to go, all of these things.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_00]: You have to figure out what route you're taking.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_00]: who's on the bus, who can make the calls, and who's driving is most importantly, who's driving your bus?
- 31:54[SPEAKER_00]: Because if I'm driving my bus, as you can't tell me what turns to take, you can't even matter if that here's the rules to the Byron bus.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_00]: You can't get on my bus and tell me where to go, and if you are not taking Byron stops, these are the stops on the Byron Express.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_00]: If you're not taking these stops, you gotta get off.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_00]: Dang, see you later.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_00]: You can't tell me where to go.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_00]: So go from everybody being able to say anything to now I got a Sprinter.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_00]: Me and my family, we run this.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_00]: I'm driving now my lady can come in and say hey make that right turn cuz it's better But you know what you write that But other than that, it's like hey who's on your bus?
- 32:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, who's driving?
- 32:30[SPEAKER_00]: What do you have so many people got a helicopter?
- 32:33[SPEAKER_00]: You need to empty that thing out because
- 32:36[SPEAKER_00]: even everybody around us they mean well yeah your friend meant well but he didn't know what to do in that moment that's what stopping you from celebrating is like well everybody else it's not about everybody else it's about ash yeah i said these goals i need to celebrate myself my family all the things that i've done and then move forward going okay now what's next after i've celebrated it's not getting new friends is vibrate
- 33:01[SPEAKER_00]: on the level that you need to be on and people will follow.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_00]: Are they fall off?
- 33:06[SPEAKER_00]: And that's up to them.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_03]: Follow everybody can't go.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_03]: Talk to me a little bit about.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_03]: the bat pack of burdens, what is it, and why do you claim it to be so powerful?
- 33:23[SPEAKER_03]: You said this is, you know, behind the scenes, you said it's worth the most powerful tools, you like, like, what is it, and why is that?
- 33:32[SPEAKER_00]: So I created it because it created me.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_00]: So we walked through life with these things right here.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_00]: So let me, let me pass this to you really well.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_00]: My hands shaking.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_00]: Ah, there we go.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_00]: How heavy is this?
- 33:45[SPEAKER_00]: Heavy.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_00]: Like, this is great.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's a couple of pounds so I wear this and when I go speak, I go speak at schools, I go speak high school, middle school colleges, sports teams, everybody and I wear this pack back because I was like, why is he wearing it back back back back back back back back back to 40, is it okay?
- 34:00[SPEAKER_00]: And then they realized after I passed it on though, heavy it is, so this is what we're carrying around in life.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_00]: So we have this backpack that we can't see.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_00]: That's why it's the backpack of burners because people have been able to put things inside of your backpack without you knowing and it gets heavier and heavier.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_00]: You're carrying your parents' thoughts, your religious thoughts, anything around the neighborhood, this is what I'm supposed to do.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_00]: This is all the trauma things that get thrown into there.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_00]: So inside of this bag are trauma triggers.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm gonna let you grab one in a minute and the bag already knows the bag always knows Yeah, I promise you the bag always knows.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so I'm gonna look away.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna look away Just take it on.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's been shaking up this heavy.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna look this way whatever you grabbed That's what it is the bag knows Okay, what you got
- 34:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's my anxiety, it's your anxiety, it's your anxiety, it's your anxiety, it's your anxiety, it's your anxiety, it's your anxiety, it's your anxiety, it's your anxiety, it's your anxiety, it's your anxiety, it's your anxiety, it's your anxiety, it's your anxiety, it's your anxiety, it's your anxiety, it's your anxiety, it's your anxiety, it's your anxiety, it's your
- 35:18[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and I know I'm having anxiety because, um, or anxious thoughts, um, and it's, it's almost like the duck, right?
- 35:29[SPEAKER_03]: People might be looking at me and I look calm, right, but, but underneath, um, I'm, I'm moving.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_03]: And the reason why it's anxiety is because, um, I'm in, um, I'm in a space where I'm doing something I've done before.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_03]: But I don't want, I want the results, but I don't want to do what it took to get there.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_03]: But I almost feel like that's the only way.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_03]: It is.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_03]: And so I'm in a space where I'm feeling anxious because I know that the result that I desire is like I have to have this result.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_03]: But again, the way to get there,
- 36:13[SPEAKER_03]: I just don't want to, because it almost feels like I have to give up a part of me that is enjoying life to be 100% honest to us.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_03]: Super.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_03]: You know, it is a part of me that enjoys life.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_03]: So I want to enjoy life and have the result, but my experience is telling me that's not possible.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_03]: And so I'm anxious because
- 36:41[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like I've got to make a choice.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_03]: And I, you know, like my jacket right now, the back of this as a bundle, it's as your birthright.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_03]: And because I believe a bundle, it's as your birthright, I have a saying that Anne is better than an or.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_03]: And so I don't want to choose.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_03]: I want to have both.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_03]: I want to have the life that I have.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_03]: but also the result that I desire.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_03]: And there's a, I think it's the Bible that says, house divided, you know what I'm saying?
- 37:15[SPEAKER_03]: So I feel like my house is divided right there.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm anxious, I'm anxious, you know what I'm saying?
- 37:21[SPEAKER_03]: I'm anxious, you know what I'm saying?
- 37:22[SPEAKER_00]: So let me do it in favor.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_00]: Let me take that for over a second.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yes sir, you can keep it a little lighter.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yes sir, a little lighter for sure.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_00]: So you can take this anxiety that you have and go and I love the fact that you said end and set up
- 37:36[SPEAKER_00]: And is a powerful thing because we think that we have to make a choice.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_00]: You already made a choice, you're going to do it.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_00]: Are you wouldn't feel anxious?
- 37:44[SPEAKER_00]: If you weren't going to do it, you wouldn't feel anxious about it.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_00]: You know what you want to do.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_00]: You know what you have to do.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_00]: So enjoy the process and the meantime going, well I've got to give up comfort, no, because you're not celebrating.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_00]: That's why.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're celebrating the small steps that it takes, you don't have to wait until I got the car, I got the house, that's the celebration.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_00]: I said, I was going to do something, step one is the, you know, if I'm getting dressed in the morning, step one, wake up.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a celebrate that.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_00]: What's up?
- 38:11[SPEAKER_00]: I was granted the life to wake up in the morning.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_00]: This is a gift.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_00]: Awesome.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_00]: Step by step, you're enjoying it.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_00]: Now I know what I have to get to.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_00]: I know where I have to go.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_00]: So instead of being anxious about it, I'm going to enjoy this process because I'm going to feel like that person.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to do something with you.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_00]: So as you are moving and becoming the person that hits that goal, what does he look like?
- 38:41[SPEAKER_00]: What is he doing?
- 38:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_00]: So take a moment and go visit him now it sounds crazy but I go visit my future self all the time and if I'm feeling distracted or if I'm feeling like I'm off track go visit him.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, he didn't do none of that.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_00]: He got a nice life.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_00]: He got the result.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_00]: The result that you're chasing is inside of you.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_00]: Go visit him.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_00]: If it's six months down the road, one year down the road, you're going and sitting with him.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_00]: What is he doing?
- 39:06[SPEAKER_00]: And this is, you know, I do neural linguistics programming as well, which is a nice way of saying goal setting and meditation.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_00]: So as far as you're going and visiting him, what is the house smell like?
- 39:17[SPEAKER_00]: What does it feel like?
- 39:18[SPEAKER_00]: Add these feelings to it, add textures to it.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_00]: So as I'm going and I'm visiting, I'm going okay.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_00]: This is Ash, where is he sitting?
- 39:25[SPEAKER_00]: He's in the house, he's in the car.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_00]: What does it feel like?
- 39:28[SPEAKER_00]: What does it smell like?
- 39:30[SPEAKER_00]: What is my wife wearing?
- 39:31[SPEAKER_00]: Who's around me?
- 39:33[SPEAKER_00]: All of those things take in the environment.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_00]: There's no anxiety there.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_00]: If you see it and feel it the thing is when people go Oh, you know, I'm gonna write this vision board.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_00]: I'm doing this.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_00]: There's no emotion attached to it You have to attach the missing emotion to it.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_00]: How does it feel when you get there?
- 39:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, not the I am great.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_00]: How do you feel that this is now a reality right now?
- 39:54[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, good, I got a lot, you know, you know why and this is this not even cat I'm not performing for the camera is like even as you were saying that to me I started to put I was doing that I was envisioning and my future self was actually telling me like
- 40:24[SPEAKER_03]: The guy I am now couldn't even survive.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_03]: I can't even take him with me.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_03]: Right, I can't even take him with me.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_03]: So as you would say in all of this, I'm putting myself myself right now in my future self space, but he's a different guy.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_03]: He's not me right now.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_03]: He's not the guy right now.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_03]: The guy right now, he can't even go there.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_03]: And so in a way, it's almost like, why wouldn't I want to exactly, right?
- 41:04[SPEAKER_03]: And almost feel like, so I don't know, when Dyer says ego is adding the edging God out.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know, yeah.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_03]: So it almost feels like the anxiety is coming from a place of ego.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_03]: While my new self, which is my God self, because the close I get through the future self, this is a vision that God gave me.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_03]: So my new self is my God self.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_03]: And so my anxiety in some way is a, is my ego fighting to stay alive.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_00]: That's all it is.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_00]: You don't even need me, look, you got it.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_00]: Ask coming from my job, y'all.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_00]: Because this is literally, this is literally what I do.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_00]: This is why I guess I'll excite it.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_00]: Because just that moment, she's like, oh, I have anx, you can drop it that quick.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_00]: So now, instead of anxiety, now I'm excited.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_00]: That's a part of my three arm afterwards.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, we recognize that ex-exiety.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_00]: We reframe it now and go, no, no, no, no, no.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_00]: It's just my ego.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_00]: And now we just release it.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_00]: Anxiety is sitting over here now.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_00]: Now it's a stepping stone to my greatness.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'm good.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_00]: Now I know what I need to do because I know this version of me cannot exist.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_00]: I cannot walk through that door with all this baggage.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to get stuck.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_00]: There's so many things on my back.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_00]: There's so many things in my backpack.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_00]: And how many more things can we pull out that we need to release?
- 42:31[SPEAKER_00]: These are the things that we need to go.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_00]: my parents gave me this, I feel angry, I feel sad, I feel lonely.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_00]: These are things that were given to you in the best part about gifts, as you don't have to receive them, you don't have to take them.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_00]: So we are all in the playing a game, if we know a track.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_00]: You know, we're all running a marathon, shout out to Nick, if we all run in a marathon and you're getting in hand at the stick, you can drop it because your parents gave you that trauma stick, it's like, okay, cool, we run it, who's the anchor?
- 43:01[SPEAKER_00]: All of us.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_00]: If we're running this trauma, we're running this oppression Olympics and seeing who can get the gold, you can stop and go, this is relay race.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_00]: I don't ever even sign up for it.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_00]: Why are you passing me down this because our families don't know.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_00]: This is what we've always done.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_00]: How's that working out for you?
- 43:19[SPEAKER_00]: Is that work out for your mom and I work out for you, Dad?
- 43:21[SPEAKER_00]: Are they exactly where you would like to be?
- 43:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_00]: I would you like to go higher.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_00]: There's a thing in
- 43:27[SPEAKER_00]: Just the world, not even our culture in the world was just like one run-up.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_00]: Your bar of solo is like, oh my dad was here, so I'm gonna go here.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_00]: Why are you just climbing one run?
- 43:35[SPEAKER_00]: You can go higher.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_00]: One run-up is not where you should be.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_00]: So okay, I'm just gonna step here.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_00]: That's the ground.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_00]: Look up.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_00]: We're so busy looking and seeing what our parents did, what our family did.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_00]: All these other things, all these traumas that we were given because our package too heavy.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's too heavy.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_00]: And you're dragging on the ground and you just like, oh, I'm not gonna ask for help.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_00]: Why?
- 43:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm killing this.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_00]: I got it from the mud.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_00]: Why?
- 43:59[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to get it from my daughter.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's not getting it from the mud and I'm happy.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_00]: Her biggest flex that I want from my 14 year old daughter is my daddy.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_00]: Don't even talk to me like that.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gone.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'm good.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have to depend on anybody for anything.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_00]: She not get in it from the mud.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_00]: Her backpack for the most part is her and I emptying it one at a time because I'm not going to pass that down to her.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not giving her all the things and we're not running this trauma marathon to where I'm handing her to stick like go run with all my problems.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_00]: If we stop and go wait a minute.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_00]: We offline out on this, trauma travels, right?
- 44:32[SPEAKER_00]: Trauma travel isn't it, it packs your bags for you.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_00]: It sits you in first class.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_00]: It gets you comforted.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, oh, this dysfunction, not that's what we always do.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_00]: They're disguising dysfunction as comfort.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_00]: And you're traveling with this trauma.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_00]: Think, oh, this is great.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sitting at first class.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_00]: I'm comfortable.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_00]: So when we're comfortable, like we were talking about earlier, we get stuck.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_00]: When we're comfortable, anxiety comes.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_00]: Depression comes.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_00]: Like, no, man, we can't do this.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_00]: Who said that?
- 44:55[SPEAKER_00]: Who's voices that?
- 44:57[SPEAKER_00]: In the eye of the storm whose voice are you listening to?
- 45:00[SPEAKER_00]: Because somebody else puts something in your bag.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_00]: If I reach in the bag right now, I don't even know what's going on here.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, lonely.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_00]: This is one of the number one things in America and everywhere that everybody feels.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_00]: And this is this is heavy.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_00]: This is big.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's my daughter wrote this one.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of us feel this in order to not feel that we need community.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_00]: So I can take this and go.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_00]: Man, I'm so lonely.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_00]: Are you telling anybody?
- 45:26[SPEAKER_00]: Are you talking to anybody?
- 45:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just out here, just me and my family.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_00]: Not even looking out for you.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just out here, because they don't know.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they've let me down.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_00]: The churches let me down.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_00]: My friends have let me down.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_00]: That's your frequency.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_00]: Because that's what you're frequently seeing.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_00]: If you're constantly in a shade room, if you're constantly all these negative things.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_00]: It's no surprise that that's what you see in your life.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_00]: It's the red car effect.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_00]: If I'm looking for a red car going down the road and I haven't looked before, what am I going to see?
- 45:52[SPEAKER_00]: Red car, red car, red car, red car, red car.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_00]: Every single time you're looking for this, going heel, do the real work and stop posting and tag in and trolling people online, go do the real work.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_00]: That's why I was like, I don't respond and somebody says something negative, I'm looking at people like why you're going back and forth online.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_00]: What does this do for you?
- 46:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_00]: It's light outside.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_00]: Get out the shabro.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_00]: Relax.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_00]: Relax.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just saying.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you can take this and go, I can be lonely.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_00]: I can know exactly where this comes from.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_00]: I can know that I was a kid and I was made fun of for being a nerd.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_00]: For being all this is mine.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_00]: This is what the bag always knows.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_00]: For being a nerd.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_00]: I got bullied.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_00]: and thrown in the shower to do push-ups because they found out that I had comic books in my backpack because I wish you don't over here how many was this?
- 46:34[SPEAKER_00]: And I had the wrong color on, at the wrong time.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_00]: So there's like, where are you from?
- 46:39[SPEAKER_00]: Down the street?
- 46:40[SPEAKER_00]: What are we talking about guys?
- 46:41[SPEAKER_00]: Things like, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, you're gonna run all of that.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, they opened my backpack.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_00]: I just had comic books.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_00]: out of here, we can do nothing with that.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_00]: But I learned a valuable lesson is like, oh, I couldn't be that person, just like when you got cut.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_00]: That was me getting cut.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I can't be this person.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't embrace being the nerd, are being, which nerd's a cool.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_00]: Get you a nerd, get you a nerd.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't embrace that person until I realized that that person is me and that that is,
- 47:08[SPEAKER_00]: what shaped who I am, I'm unique.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_00]: I like anime and comic books to this day.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_00]: My lady's cool with it.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_00]: See I'll sit and watch WWE with me, and she's like, that ain't real, I'm like, you can't say that.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_00]: But finding the people in the community that are for you, you're loneliness is gone, but you have to be yourself because if I'm getting caught being ash Then all my blessings that are supposed to be delivered I'm not in my address.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not gonna get delivered now to these blessings because I'm over here trying to be you Make sure you're found being who you are.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_00]: Are you gonna be lost?
- 47:38[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it is actually a funny story.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_00]: I just told my daughter to a
- 47:43[SPEAKER_00]: the draft in a turtle.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_00]: So, and this is about friendship and things like that.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_00]: So, the draft in a turtle, let's say the draft is tall, of course, and they're both in a jungle.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_00]: So, got the draft in a turtle, both in a jungle, and there's a river in front of them, and then the turtles, like, yeah, we got to go all the way around, because it's crocodiles in there.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_00]: I think I saw some crazy animals.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's dangerous on this river.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_00]: The draft comes down, he goes, okay, cool, we don't go around, how long is it going to take?
- 48:09[SPEAKER_00]: Probably about three days.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_00]: hungry.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_00]: I got some work to do.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_00]: We got some stuff over there.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_00]: I might be some draft ladies over there.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_00]: I might want to see.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_00]: The draft picks his head up and he looks.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_00]: He can see a little bit further than the turtle.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_00]: Of course.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_00]: So the draft is looking and he goes, not think we're good.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_00]: I don't see anything in the water past right there.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_00]: We got a couple spots.
- 48:28[SPEAKER_00]: We're good.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_00]: He comes back down all the way down and talks to us for a little bit.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_00]: Hey man, I think we're good if we just cross the ground.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_00]: This left side will hit a corner.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_00]: I promise we're good to go.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_00]: The turtle loves a giraffe.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_00]: They've been best friends since birth.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_00]: Don't ask me how.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_00]: Turtle says, no man, probably I got you.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_00]: You might black, I got your back.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go around.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to take three days and drafts.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_00]: Well, let me go back up because technically, if you think about a giraffe, if they keep their heads down too long, they die.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_00]: They suffocate.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_00]: Their necks are bent, they need to breathe.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_00]: If the giraffe stays long, down longer than I believe, 15 seconds, it's going to start choking, it's going to start coughing.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_00]: So you got to come right back up.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_00]: Man, you know what?
- 49:12[SPEAKER_00]: I trust you.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_00]: I love you, Turtle Man, but...
- 49:15[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna go this way.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_00]: Now the turtle is his best friend.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_00]: He means well, he's all about him.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_00]: Like, hell man, I love it, I got you.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_00]: While I'm gonna go this way and you can go that way.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_00]: There are so many turtles in our life that we're listening to when we are dressed and we know the way.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_00]: There are too many turtles in your life.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_00]: That care, that love you.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_00]: I mean well, they don't have your vision.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_00]: They can't see what you can see.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_00]: You are a giraffe, a stretching neck out because you're gonna die down there.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_00]: Come up.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_00]: That's good.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_00]: That's good, that's good, that's good.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_03]: Who, I told you, right now, my name, my name, my name, heavy, heavy, I know the answer to this, but as a money show, money mindset show, what is the value monetarily of what you do?
- 50:05[SPEAKER_03]: Like, why is,
- 50:09[SPEAKER_03]: you know, I guess getting my mind right, or people getting their mind right, why is that healing, you know, you know, wellness, like what is the monetary value of that?
- 50:19[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, wealth is everything, wealth is money, wealth is access to all those things, but you're gonna lose it.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_00]: You're gonna be the millionaire crying in the bends because you don't know what to do.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_00]: What is the monetary value of this?
- 50:30[SPEAKER_00]: Nine Manufact, 90% of all people that are entrepreneurs that are,
- 50:35[SPEAKER_00]: the number of people in companies and the science back have a high level of EQ.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_00]: Now they might not use it.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_00]: They have a high level of EQ, 58% of people in the work place that are successful that make the most money have a high EQ.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_00]: So it's not IQ, it's EQ, it's how do I deal with this person to the left and the right me?
- 50:54[SPEAKER_00]: How do I know how to respond to my boss?
- 50:56[SPEAKER_00]: How do I know how to be a good employee?
- 50:57[SPEAKER_00]: How do I know how to be a good leader in life?
- 51:00[SPEAKER_00]: you're going to go further faster when you know how to channel my emotions because I might have a bad day but I can't bring that into work.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_00]: This person's having a bad day and it's my boss so I can't crash out and then I'm just going to sit here.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_00]: Being emotionally balanced, understanding why you're doing something because everybody in America 45% of people are in a job at the hate.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_00]: Not that they dislike that they hate right hate.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_00]: If you want to hate your job continue not knowing what you're doing
- 51:24[SPEAKER_00]: doing things for.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_00]: So monetarily, it's through the roof, it's through the ceiling.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_00]: But I'll give you more numbers because men like women like numbers.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_00]: That was not.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_00]: So I just worked with a company that I can't say, but they went from probably there.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_00]: their base-level employees, the excitement for the job was gone, they were burnt out, a lot of people in America deal with burnout.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_00]: So it goes from their retention being extremely high to why they brought me in to where now we cut it in half.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_00]: Half is a huge number of business if you're a company, half is huge.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's all about tapping into
- 52:02[SPEAKER_00]: Why am I here?
- 52:03[SPEAKER_00]: How do I work with this person said a left and right to me?
- 52:05[SPEAKER_00]: How do I work?
- 52:06[SPEAKER_00]: What am I?
- 52:07[SPEAKER_00]: What kind of worker am I?
- 52:09[SPEAKER_00]: Do I get motivated by this?
- 52:10[SPEAKER_00]: Do I get motivated by that?
- 52:12[SPEAKER_00]: Now, let me see what's happening at home.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_00]: Let me see what's happening in my life that I'm not dealing with arm just bringing things to work.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_00]: Once you're emotionally balanced It's like a superpower.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_00]: EQ can be a superpower for you if you know how to use it properly
- 52:28[SPEAKER_00]: And not just go, okay, well, you know, I don't feel anything.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_00]: I'm grinding my faces down my heads down.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_00]: I'm in the sand.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_00]: Let's get money.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_00]: If money is your goal, you ain't going to get it.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_00]: I promise.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, it's the monetary value to learning yourself.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_00]: Because that's what you're really doing.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_00]: Not just mentally, emotionally learning who you are and why you take in what your trauma triggers are, whether you're in a relationship, whether you're in a business.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_00]: anything in life knowing who I am and how to react, priceless.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_00]: So I can't even put a number on it because it's priceless.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_00]: You can go and do anything you would like to do because now you know who you are.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I love that.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_03]: You said earlier, you said you were not in relationship with people, we're in relationship with their nervous systems.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_03]: I want you to elaborate on that a little bit because you know,
- 53:22[SPEAKER_03]: You know, obviously, five love language, you know, became a phenomenon, it did.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_03]: But you talk about something that's almost the opposite of that as it relates to the nervous system and things that I need to, if you can expand a little bit, that'd be good.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_00]: So the love languages are great.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_00]: I love that book.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_00]: I read the book like everybody else, but it's really not about how to love that person, which I think is an important part of it, but it's not the whole picture.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_00]: How do anybody can love you?
- 53:48[SPEAKER_00]: I can pretend how to love you.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_00]: I can gaslight you.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_00]: But what happened to you is a more important question.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_00]: What are your pain languages?
- 53:56[SPEAKER_00]: What are the things that make you tick?
- 53:58[SPEAKER_00]: How do you respond to trauma?
- 54:00[SPEAKER_00]: What happened to you when you were a kid?
- 54:02[SPEAKER_00]: That way I know all these land mines that are around you.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_00]: So for instance, for myself and my lady, for our relationship, from my partner, we're,
- 54:10[SPEAKER_00]: We're learning each other.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_00]: So if I'm saying, hey, but these are the things that happen to me.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_00]: So if I react and you say something, know that we stepped on a landline.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_00]: We, not you, we stepped on a landline in this conversation.
- 54:24[SPEAKER_00]: But if I show you every time where they're at, the more that I show you and the more that you show me,
- 54:29[SPEAKER_00]: the more we can walk around them are military reference.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_00]: We can go clip the wires throw them in the back of the truck and they're no longer landlides.
- 54:36[SPEAKER_00]: These rocks, these traumas, these burdens don't exist anymore because we're talking about them because I'm letting you know and letting you in which is so scary for people to.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_00]: Because the more people you let in was like oh well you can hurt me.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_00]: You gotta play that game.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_00]: That's the cost of playing a game.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_00]: If you want the love, if you want the relationship, if you want the friendship,
- 54:59[SPEAKER_00]: You got to give everything, there's so many relationships that I didn't do well in that the other person didn't do well in because you only got this portion of me because what
- 55:09[SPEAKER_00]: What women and men don't talk about is a safety.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_00]: We talk about women's safety.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_00]: We don't talk about men's safety.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_00]: I have to feel safe enough to give you everything.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_00]: Not financially, because anybody can do that emotionally.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_00]: I have to feel safe to go, you know what?
- 55:25[SPEAKER_00]: This is person that, on Alicia Keysa, your secrets.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_00]: Tell your secrets to.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_00]: This is the person that I give my secrets to.
- 55:31[SPEAKER_00]: This is the person that I give myself to.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_00]: My partner now, she knows everything about me.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_00]: Forward, backward, good, bad ugly.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_00]: She knows the entire landfill.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_00]: If you're not doing that, not just in a relationship to where you're married or anything like that friendships, which is also scary for people, but that's the admission of the game.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_00]: This is what you want, so it's not necessarily a what are the five love languages?
- 55:53[SPEAKER_00]: What are your pain languages?
- 55:54[SPEAKER_03]: But sometimes what you say can and we'll be using it so be careful.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_00]: But that's what discernment.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_00]: You just don't go tell, you're going to talk to someone in a street.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_00]: Hey man, you want to have anyone else 12 years old?
- 56:06[SPEAKER_00]: Well, let me tell you.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's like have discernment to know who to give that to.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_00]: And that comes with I know me.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_00]: I know myself because we're going to keep jumping in relationships and people and friendships and all these things.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_00]: You're not even healed.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_00]: All you guys are just trauma bonding.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_00]: And after you trauma bond, then what?
- 56:23[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, this sucks for you, this sucks for me too.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_02]: Let's all suck.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_02]: Right, right, right.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's all embracing.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_00]: This is amazing.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's not.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_00]: Why don't you go heal and you'll stop attracting those things?
- 56:33[SPEAKER_03]: And you know, that's so good.
- 56:36[SPEAKER_03]: And I want y'all who listen and to point this out.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_03]: And by the way, most of this stuff is in this book.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_03]: This will help us alive, right?
- 56:43[SPEAKER_03]: Cause I'm so much on the couch getting free session that I forgot, I haven't got to mention that.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_03]: But it's so good what you just said because again and and you're good at what you do because as you're talking You're allowing me to visualize some things and and that's what I just did just now as you were talking I was visualizing that and the importance of healing first before you trust.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_03]: Why?
- 57:14[SPEAKER_03]: because
- 57:15[SPEAKER_03]: And this happens to me all the time, which is, again, I mean, we got to talk about your retreat.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_03]: I need to go to retreat, because I need to get either here.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_00]: That's coming up in too long, right?
- 57:24[SPEAKER_03]: Cause it's obvious, it's obvious that I'm not fully healed.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_03]: You know why?
- 57:27[SPEAKER_03]: Because as I'm thinking about it, I'm thinking about recent connections that I've made.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_03]: But even though,
- 57:36[SPEAKER_03]: their connections that I made, that were deep connections, they were connections from a unhealed self.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_03]: So imagine, imagine there's levels to healing.
- 57:50[SPEAKER_03]: Right?
- 57:50[SPEAKER_03]: And imagine if there
- 57:52[SPEAKER_03]: You know being suicidal or being you know, you know, I don't want to be hitting more is level one But then there's still a level five.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_03]: Let's just say right and let's say level five is Everything is going well, but I feel but but feeling the blank yeah
- 58:10[SPEAKER_03]: What happens if I'm not healing at that level was going to happen is that I'm attracting a level five person, exactly.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_03]: And what you just made me realize is that as I attract the level five person, who the truth is could be in and out of my life, when I,
- 58:31[SPEAKER_03]: But come a level eight person, y'all don't vibe.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_03]: I don't vibe no more.
- 58:35[SPEAKER_03]: And then now, right, and this is when what you say and do can be used against you in the court of friendship and the court of friendship.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_00]: And if I have you said this, so she's holding you, he's holding you to level five.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm already, you want to keep.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_00]: You down on the bottom of the hill, I'm already up top.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_00]: I'm already not.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_00]: There's no fault of theirs because you guys both met at this,
- 58:56[SPEAKER_00]: Trauma trigger you met at this point.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_00]: We like oh, yeah, yeah.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, what that happened to you that happened to me, too Right, wow, let's talk about it.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_00]: No, are you feel from that that's first day questions?
- 59:06[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, are you healed from everything?
- 59:08[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm not going to ask that.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_00]: I got a question question for you Okay, question now.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, okay.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know because the thing is right you pulled out the lonely rock If I'm at level five
- 59:24[SPEAKER_03]: And I know that I'm trying to heal and get to level eight.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_03]: Does that mean I stay lonely at level five?
- 59:30[SPEAKER_00]: That's a good question.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_03]: Right, do I stay lonely at level five?
- 59:34[SPEAKER_03]: Because I'm like, I'm at this level.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_03]: So let me not make any strong connections at this level.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_03]: or do I like, what do I do coach, what do I do coach, I don't want, I don't want to be lonely coach, I don't want to do, because I level 5, I may need some support system at level 5 and then when I, and that's the survival's remorse, right, because down and I'm thinking about it that happens to me, it happened to me in a hood, right, in a hood I'm at level 2, I'm trying to get to level 3, I get to level 3, but on my level 2 guys are like,
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_03]: Yo, we don't connect no more than that now.
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_03]: Now I'm lonely again until I find a level three Yeah, and then when I find a level three, I go to level four right and so and so sometimes right and maybe I'm in some All because it was sometimes you know There are connections where People are leveling up with you at the same exactly at the same time
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_00]: You have to find somebody with a growth mindset, so I have, if I have a one, that's the one.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_00]: And that's why people like, oh, I got to get somebody to got the bag and on it.
- 1:00:39[SPEAKER_00]: So my daughter's 14 talking to her, her friends and her boyfriend got out of a bag.
- 1:00:42[SPEAKER_00]: What?
- 1:00:43[SPEAKER_00]: You live with me.
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_00]: You are poor.
- 1:00:45[SPEAKER_00]: You are a teenager.
- 1:00:47[SPEAKER_00]: If you're on Instagram, you live with your parents' reports.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_00]: Stop.
- 1:00:50[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have to have all these things.
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_00]: If I'm level five and I meet a level five person and we both say, hey, this is where we're at, where would you like to be?
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_00]: Not are you comfortable here.
- 1:01:01[SPEAKER_00]: So we meet people at the level of comfort.
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'm comfortable here.
- 1:01:04[SPEAKER_00]: You can tell with somebody's comfortable where they are.
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_00]: Because you can have a conversation and say, hey, this is what I would like to be.
- 1:01:10[SPEAKER_00]: This is who I'm becoming.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_00]: So let me take it back.
- 1:01:13[SPEAKER_00]: Go and ask the person on the first day if you're dating.
- 1:01:15[SPEAKER_00]: Who are you becoming?
- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_00]: What?
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_00]: That's a real question.
- 1:01:18[SPEAKER_00]: While I'm becoming a person that does this, oh, are you willing to take the steps to get there because you're going to have to sacrifice some things?
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't want to be one of them.
- 1:01:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:01:26[SPEAKER_00]: So if that's the case, I would like to know who you're becoming.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_00]: If we match up with who we're both, but come on, it will both lock step.
- 1:01:33[SPEAKER_00]: It will both equally yoke and see what that looks like.
- 1:01:37[SPEAKER_00]: We don't have to have everything right now.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_00]: I met my lady.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_00]: She was eight and I was like four.
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_00]: Now we're like 20 together, the pins on the day, maybe she 25, maybe I'm 20, right?
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_00]: She's amazing, right?
- 1:01:48[SPEAKER_00]: But it's just saying, hey, we had an honest conversation.
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_00]: And some of the friends that I'm talking to now have an honest conversation.
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to, you know, just like you said, I'm not trying to perform.
- 1:01:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not trying to show you anything.
- 1:01:59[SPEAKER_00]: I think every relationship except for the one I'm in now is a performance piece.
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_00]: or you need this, I'm gonna throw this cape on them and slip these boots on them, Superman, I got you girl.
- 1:02:09[SPEAKER_00]: And then when it's done, it was like, oh, he wasn't about nothing.
- 1:02:11[SPEAKER_00]: Nah, I just wanted to perform for you.
- 1:02:13[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't heal.
- 1:02:13[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_00]: Heal, are you all performed?
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_00]: If you don't heal, you're gonna continue to perform.
- 1:02:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:02:19[SPEAKER_00]: So it's not level five, level five.
- 1:02:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'm here, you're down there.
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_00]: Hey.
- 1:02:23[SPEAKER_00]: Would you like to level up?
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_00]: Are we both playing this game to where we're leveling up?
- 1:02:27[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing the things that gaining the experience a little bit of video game nerd.
- 1:02:30[SPEAKER_00]: Now it's for everyone.
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_00]: Are you grinding and farming and getting this experience to level up?
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_00]: Because the reason why friendships, relationships, business partnerships, crashes because there's no real healing in the beginning.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_00]: We're not discussing healing.
- 1:02:44[SPEAKER_00]: You haven't gone to your healing because the things that if you are not healing,
- 1:02:51[SPEAKER_00]: then you are helping.
- 1:02:52[SPEAKER_00]: So whatever you're not healing, you're helping it.
- 1:02:54[SPEAKER_00]: And you're helping it by hiding it.
- 1:02:56[SPEAKER_00]: And you're hiding it by not naming it.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_00]: So let's name the elephants in the room and make some room.
- 1:03:01[SPEAKER_00]: So heal.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_00]: And you will vibrate on the level of what you desire, not where you are.
- 1:03:07[SPEAKER_00]: Because a lot of people get there, they want to turn up especially us in the hood.
- 1:03:10[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, yeah, man, I can show you what I'm from.
- 1:03:12[SPEAKER_00]: Show me where you're going instead.
- 1:03:15[SPEAKER_00]: You can stop and go, it's not that serious.
- 1:03:20[SPEAKER_00]: I had an uncle who was my favorite uncle in the world.
- 1:03:23[SPEAKER_00]: Past away, 2021, one of his mentees murdered him in his son.
- 1:03:28[SPEAKER_00]: In the car, I was in the newspaper.
- 1:03:31[SPEAKER_00]: The hardest thing I ever had to do was, I still did, as they haven't looked at the pictures, because it's just, it was his heart.
- 1:03:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's hard, you know.
- 1:03:39[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not trying to take it down, but it's a reason behind this.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_00]: Greatest person, he went to prison.
- 1:03:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'd wrong place, wrong time, get away driver.
- 1:03:47[SPEAKER_00]: Don't know why.
- 1:03:48[SPEAKER_00]: But he's the one, he's one of the first men in my life to show me that it's OK to be who I am.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_00]: He was like, you like Michael Jackson?
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_00]: Cool.
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_00]: You like, he was like, he like MCM, he like Michael Jackson, cool.
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_00]: You like anime?
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_00]: Cool.
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_00]: He like, comic books?
- 1:04:01[SPEAKER_00]: Cool, was like, oh, okay.
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_00]: They went in a way, it was so sad, but when he came back out, I rocked with him every single day.
- 1:04:07[SPEAKER_00]: And Colorado fast forward.
- 1:04:09[SPEAKER_00]: I get a phone call and I've never heard my mom cry like, this is my mom's brother.
- 1:04:12[SPEAKER_00]: She's screaming, he's gone, he's gone, he's gone, he's gone, he's gone, he's gone, he's gone, he's gone, he's gone, he's gone, he's gone.
- 1:04:15[SPEAKER_00]: I found everything out, one of the worst days of my life.
- 1:04:18[SPEAKER_00]: He went to court for this little boy who murdered my uncle
- 1:04:24[SPEAKER_00]: Just to rob him for some money that if you would have just asked he would have got it Three years so the boy was about 15 is 18 when he finally had to find a court day my mom's like you're gonna come to court No, no coming to court.
- 1:04:36[SPEAKER_00]: No, you'll come to court.
- 1:04:37[SPEAKER_00]: No, cuz I'm gonna crash out even the emotional intelligence guy I will crash out to cuz that's my favorite person and you stole him.
- 1:04:43[SPEAKER_00]: You stole him from me
- 1:04:45[SPEAKER_00]: And as I'm listening, I was like, I finally came, you know, I prayed about it, something to tell me, just show it virtually.
- 1:04:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's okay.
- 1:04:51[SPEAKER_00]: I showed up and I'm listening in and the judge said something that hit my spirit.
- 1:04:56[SPEAKER_00]: He was like, yeah, it took about three seconds for you to steal these people's life.
- 1:05:00[SPEAKER_00]: So I said something, I said, hey man, pick your head up.
- 1:05:03[SPEAKER_00]: Cause he's in court, you can see him.
- 1:05:04[SPEAKER_00]: He's not looking at the pitch or anything.
- 1:05:05[SPEAKER_00]: I said, I forgive you.
- 1:05:08[SPEAKER_00]: And that was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life.
- 1:05:11[SPEAKER_00]: Because I could have said something, I said, I could have weren't crazy, but I told him I was like, you stole life.
- 1:05:15[SPEAKER_00]: So you're gonna go have to sit down.
- 1:05:16[SPEAKER_00]: You're gonna have to think about that.
- 1:05:18[SPEAKER_00]: You stole life, brother.
- 1:05:19[SPEAKER_00]: Two lives.
- 1:05:20[SPEAKER_00]: To some really good people that would help you, that was your mentor.
- 1:05:23[SPEAKER_00]: And I started thinking, you know, I forgave him, I told him I would help him.
- 1:05:26[SPEAKER_00]: If he needs it, because he was a young boy, he didn't know what to do.
- 1:05:29[SPEAKER_00]: He just wanted some money.
- 1:05:30[SPEAKER_00]: He wanted some things.
- 1:05:31[SPEAKER_00]: And a lot of people are victim of their circumstances, but you're also victim of your environment and your vibration.
- 1:05:35[SPEAKER_00]: If he doesn't see anything further than that,
- 1:05:37[SPEAKER_00]: Then that's how you're going to react.
- 1:05:39[SPEAKER_00]: And I started thinking I said dang, he got three, three seconds, and then the judge finally gave him 30 years.
- 1:05:45[SPEAKER_00]: Wow, wow, three seconds for 30 years.
- 1:05:50[SPEAKER_00]: Like, think about that, three seconds for 30 years.
- 1:05:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:05:54[SPEAKER_00]: If EQ is an important, then I don't know what is.
- 1:05:58[SPEAKER_00]: Three seconds for 30 years.
- 1:06:00[SPEAKER_00]: Your life is gone.
- 1:06:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:06:02[SPEAKER_00]: And there's how many people have those stories.
- 1:06:04[SPEAKER_00]: Not to those extremes.
- 1:06:05[SPEAKER_00]: Not to those things like that.
- 1:06:06[SPEAKER_00]: But if you take a second and go, man, I don't have to show you where I'm from.
- 1:06:11[SPEAKER_00]: I can show you the person I'm becoming.
- 1:06:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:06:13[SPEAKER_00]: I can show you who I would like to be.
- 1:06:14[SPEAKER_00]: I can show you a level eight.
- 1:06:15[SPEAKER_00]: I can show you a level 10 because that's the person I'm becoming.
- 1:06:19[SPEAKER_00]: How do I get to this person?
- 1:06:20[SPEAKER_00]: How do I not have anxiety?
- 1:06:21[SPEAKER_00]: How do I not be lonely about it?
- 1:06:23[SPEAKER_00]: Don't... the thing I hate the most is fake it to you make it.
- 1:06:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because it's not fake who I'm becoming.
- 1:06:29[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 1:06:30[SPEAKER_00]: Be it until you see it.
- 1:06:32[SPEAKER_00]: Walk in it.
- 1:06:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:06:33[SPEAKER_00]: G-O-D, if I'm God on display, he created me.
- 1:06:35[SPEAKER_00]: The creator created me in his image to create.
- 1:06:38[SPEAKER_00]: So why wouldn't I create?
- 1:06:39[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm creating the version of me that I want.
- 1:06:41[SPEAKER_00]: And I go visit him every single day.
- 1:06:42[SPEAKER_00]: I don't look up.
- 1:06:43[SPEAKER_00]: There's people that I admire.
- 1:06:44[SPEAKER_00]: I don't look up to them.
- 1:06:45[SPEAKER_00]: I look up to future me.
- 1:06:47[SPEAKER_00]: Because I know he's killing it.
- 1:06:48[SPEAKER_00]: That's why I want to be so I'm going to move like him.
- 1:06:50[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to walk like him.
- 1:06:51[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to talk like him until I become him because if you do that every single day, that's who you are.
- 1:06:56[SPEAKER_00]: Whatever goal that you have set that the anxiety was trying to cause we're already defeated it.
- 1:07:00[SPEAKER_00]: That the anxiety was trying to speak on.
- 1:07:03[SPEAKER_00]: doesn't exist anymore because you're now walking in that version of ash.
- 1:07:06[SPEAKER_00]: This version didn't fit through that door.
- 1:07:08[SPEAKER_00]: Now you can go straight through it.
- 1:07:09[SPEAKER_00]: You can slide through any way you want because now you became that person because you're not hiding it.
- 1:07:15[SPEAKER_00]: That's why if you're not healing it, you're helping.
- 1:07:18[SPEAKER_00]: So whatever you're not healing, you are helping.
- 1:07:20[SPEAKER_00]: Stop helping it.
- 1:07:22[SPEAKER_00]: Stop hiding it.
- 1:07:23[SPEAKER_00]: Grow through it, heal through it, and that way you can vibrate.
- 1:07:26[SPEAKER_00]: Your frequency will get you the person, the job, everything you want, because Burger King or whatever you think is the lowest part of you, that's where you're vibrating, vibrate higher, and that's what you'll get.
- 1:07:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:07:38[SPEAKER_00]: Sheesh!
- 1:07:40[SPEAKER_00]: Sheesh!
- 1:07:41[SPEAKER_00]: Tell me work, tell me work!
- 1:07:42[SPEAKER_03]: It's a little man, talk to us about this retreat, man.
- 1:07:45[SPEAKER_03]: Talk to us about this retreat.
- 1:07:46[SPEAKER_00]: I do a thing called wealthy retreats because you want to be well as you're being wealthy, as we've been talking the entire time.
- 1:07:54[SPEAKER_00]: I did a couple local retreats, you know, two, three day getaways, but I want to do an international, this is my first international one, I rented out a private space into loom, it's a private resort,
- 1:08:05[SPEAKER_00]: is phenomenal.
- 1:08:06[SPEAKER_00]: So it's called Welty Retreats Phoenix.
- 1:08:09[SPEAKER_00]: Every single one I do a different element.
- 1:08:11[SPEAKER_00]: So this one's fire.
- 1:08:12[SPEAKER_00]: I've got private chefs, private rooms, VIP, everything.
- 1:08:17[SPEAKER_00]: The food is healthy.
- 1:08:17[SPEAKER_00]: It's real food.
- 1:08:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's real food.
- 1:08:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's good.
- 1:08:21[SPEAKER_00]: I've got vegan stuff.
- 1:08:22[SPEAKER_00]: I've got all kind of things ready for everyone.
- 1:08:25[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to be learning.
- 1:08:26[SPEAKER_00]: healing, helping, we're going to be doing some ceremonies for release, we're going to be doing some fire ceremonies while I'm not going to make everybody walk on fire, doing anything like that.
- 1:08:34[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to give you everything, but what it is going to do is it's a circle of people, a tribe of people that are coming together with one common goal, which is to be their highest most healed self.
- 1:08:44[SPEAKER_00]: So you have to kill that person, not just your ego, and rise from those ashes, like a Phoenix.
- 1:08:49[SPEAKER_00]: So that's why I'm naming it Phoenix.
- 1:08:51[SPEAKER_00]: We're burning down the things that we thought.
- 1:08:52[SPEAKER_00]: We're burning down the things that are telling us this is who we are.
- 1:08:55[SPEAKER_00]: We're burning down the thoughts from somebody else.
- 1:08:57[SPEAKER_00]: We're burning down the trauma, we're burning down all of these things.
- 1:09:01[SPEAKER_00]: and we're rising from those ashes to be the Phoenix that we're supposed to be to be our highest most healed self.
- 1:09:06[SPEAKER_00]: And with that, we've got some great things planned.
- 1:09:08[SPEAKER_00]: We're not just going to sit there and do some woo woo in channel day.
- 1:09:11[SPEAKER_00]: No, man, I've got some ATV set up for us.
- 1:09:14[SPEAKER_00]: I've got some private snow tays and some island stuff that we're going to do.
- 1:09:17[SPEAKER_00]: Great food, great people, healing ceremony.
- 1:09:20[SPEAKER_00]: We've got some Mayan, a Mayan Cacao ceremony that I've done.
- 1:09:24[SPEAKER_00]: that is life changing, it's amazing.
- 1:09:29[SPEAKER_00]: It's phenomenal, the private rooms are phenomenal.
- 1:09:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's just a healing retreat out of the country and getting back into nature, but it's like super private, so it's beautiful.
- 1:09:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's a high-end nature retreat that helps you heal the right way, and I'm guiding you through certain things and guiding you through some meditations and guiding you through, we're gonna be learning.
- 1:09:50[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna give you books, we got a lot of gifts
- 1:09:54[SPEAKER_00]: I feel everybody needs, they're going to get gifted the book as well, but I'm so excited about these retreats and the next one is going to be a different element, but for this element for fire, we are releasing and burning down what we thought we were and what we taught, what we were taught that we were and becoming the person that we know that we should be without all the distraction, without all the things we're unplugging and plugging back into ourselves.
- 1:10:20[SPEAKER_00]: I'm excited.
- 1:10:20[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go, let's go.
- 1:10:22[SPEAKER_03]: Somebody wanted to join the retreat with it.
- 1:10:25[SPEAKER_03]: We can go.
- 1:10:25[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to do this for you.
- 1:10:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 1:10:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's not about right now, it's about a moment.
- 1:10:29[SPEAKER_00]: So all you have to do is go to my Instagram, which is Byron and Spire's Growth.
- 1:10:35[SPEAKER_00]: So Byron and Spire's Growth literally everywhere.
- 1:10:37[SPEAKER_00]: If you type in Byron and Spire's Growth, that's YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, everything, my space, farmers, me, all that happened.
- 1:10:46[SPEAKER_00]: Black Planet, all of it.
- 1:10:49[SPEAKER_00]: So, uh, you know, I'll honestly just go to Byron and Spiron's growth and if they, I will give them a 15% discount just for you.
- 1:10:55[SPEAKER_00]: Right now, just for you right now.
- 1:10:57[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go.
- 1:10:57[SPEAKER_00]: Um, they have to hit me with us.
- 1:10:59[SPEAKER_00]: So DM me the word Ash.
- 1:11:01[SPEAKER_00]: Just DM me your word Ash because it works.
- 1:11:03[SPEAKER_00]: Y'all that plays on that with the Phoenix and Ash.
- 1:11:04[SPEAKER_00]: Got it there.
- 1:11:05[SPEAKER_00]: Right, right, right, right.
- 1:11:06[SPEAKER_04]: The Phoenix and Ash.
- 1:11:08[SPEAKER_00]: You're a DME to wear ash and you will get a discount of send you the entire program and you got different levels for it too And I'm not killing everybody on price because I want them to really heal So DME to wear ash and we'll get you going on a healing journey and it's gonna be phenomenal You'll be with me 101.
- 1:11:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not having the assistance having people there want peeking behind a curtain.
- 1:11:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's us 101 together Let's go.
- 1:11:28[SPEAKER_03]: I love that.
- 1:11:29[SPEAKER_03]: I love that We didn't talk about so science.
- 1:11:33[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, man.
- 1:11:34[SPEAKER_00]: So science.
- 1:11:34[SPEAKER_00]: We didn't talk about so science.
- 1:11:36[SPEAKER_00]: So what is it?
- 1:11:38[SPEAKER_00]: I love the fact that you remember that so science is what I coined that's what everything is about Yeah, it's not just about learning so it's like man you've got all these things and how you so it's science-based But it's also food for the soul So I'm not just focusing on well neurologically these are the things that are happening and you got to move this and like a dichotomy of this No man
- 1:11:58[SPEAKER_00]: So it's just exactly what we're doing here to where soul science is literally helping your mind, your heart, your body, everything aligned because once you know who you are, you know what to do, your soul is aligned and you become a person that can find their soul's purpose.
- 1:12:13[SPEAKER_00]: Finding your purpose is the number one thing in my opinion.
- 1:12:17[SPEAKER_00]: that we should be doing here on earth.
- 1:12:18[SPEAKER_00]: Your purpose is to help all of us.
- 1:12:21[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
- 1:12:22[SPEAKER_00]: Your purpose is a service.
- 1:12:23[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of times your purpose is a service and people forget what a service is.
- 1:12:27[SPEAKER_00]: You get paid for the amount of service that you're giving.
- 1:12:29[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're a doctor or if your press and buttons at a fast food restaurant, you're getting paid.
- 1:12:34[SPEAKER_00]: For exactly what service you serve, the more you earn.
- 1:12:37[SPEAKER_00]: So the more you earn, the more you serve is the more you earn.
- 1:12:40[SPEAKER_00]: So sole science is serving you in a way to where I created a program to a where I can invite people in.
- 1:12:46[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like mine to people.
- 1:12:47[SPEAKER_00]: I have, you know, an academy called the Gross Eager's Academy.
- 1:12:51[SPEAKER_00]: That sole science lives in to where you get this program.
- 1:12:54[SPEAKER_00]: And every single day you're walking through different steps on how to become your highest most healed self.
- 1:12:59[SPEAKER_00]: Because for sole science is not, I'm not just going to focus on your brain.
- 1:13:02[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not just going to focus on your heart, I'm not just going to focus on you physically, I'm going to give you the entire program to where you go.
- 1:13:07[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I know exactly who I am.
- 1:13:09[SPEAKER_00]: Balance.
- 1:13:10[SPEAKER_00]: Soul science is a balance of the person.
- 1:13:13[SPEAKER_00]: If you want to go and be your most healed, most highest self, that is what I created and that's what I'm using because we know exactly what the hurt person looks like.
- 1:13:22[SPEAKER_00]: I know exactly what the hurt version of me is.
- 1:13:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'm so scared to know what
- 1:13:28[SPEAKER_00]: And that's where people stay.
- 1:13:29[SPEAKER_00]: Let's see.
- 1:13:30[SPEAKER_00]: What does the healed version of you look like?
- 1:13:32[SPEAKER_00]: How do they talk?
- 1:13:33[SPEAKER_00]: How do they walk?
- 1:13:34[SPEAKER_00]: What do they do?
- 1:13:35[SPEAKER_00]: That is so science.
- 1:13:36[SPEAKER_00]: Let's see the most healed version of you.
- 1:13:39[SPEAKER_00]: And put them out into the world.
- 1:13:40[SPEAKER_00]: And I guarantee you'll be proud of them.
- 1:13:42[SPEAKER_03]: I love it.
- 1:13:43[SPEAKER_03]: I love it.
- 1:13:44[SPEAKER_03]: I love it.
- 1:13:45[SPEAKER_03]: Let's go, y'all.
- 1:13:46[SPEAKER_03]: Why do I have to get to the bill that, uh, last question, though, um, is there anything that I did not ask you that you would want to be to, to ask, so you could leave some gems with, without, without audience.
- 1:13:59[SPEAKER_00]: Um, no, I think he asked me everything except for one of my favorite food and that's it.
- 1:14:03[SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
- 1:14:04[SPEAKER_00]: No, but to gyms that I would, I would like to leave with everyone, it's just number one just be yourself.
- 1:14:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:14:10[SPEAKER_00]: Be yourself and seek healing.
- 1:14:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:14:11[SPEAKER_00]: Grow through what you go through.
- 1:14:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:14:13[SPEAKER_00]: Because a lot of people want to attack the book or attack me when you hear the title, don't.
- 1:14:19[SPEAKER_00]: Take a second and think of what I'm saying.
