- 0:11fantasy hockey podcast Woo. I kind of like that woo.
- 0:15Yeah, that was a lot that was. A lot was way better than
- 0:17anytime Josh has done it to be honest.
- 0:19Oht my. Gosh, I feel bad.
- 0:21He's still not here. He's still not here.
- 0:23I know, I know he would be here if he could, but he's not with
- 0:26us anymore. I'm kidding.
- 0:27That sounds so bad. He's he's alive.
- 0:29All the women out there, if he, if he wanted to, he would.
- 0:32He, no, he is alive and well, but he's in a different
- 0:37province. So that's where Josh is.

- 0:47having Josh back. So without further ado,
- 0:52Tarantula Bangor Management Fantasia Yukihiko podcast in Not
- 0:59bad, eh? So what was that?
- 1:01That was Finnish. What was finished?
- 1:06OHP, come on. Man, I'm kidding.
- 1:10That was Finland fish. Is that?
- 1:12Is that better? That helps, yes, Yeah.
- 1:14Kevin encouraged me to do AA hockey oriented country and I.
- 1:19Think if you're gonna do a different language, might as
- 1:21well pick up language to care about hockey, you know?
- 1:23Yeah, well said. I did Greek on the last episode.
- 1:26Upon further reflection, it's not a big hockey country, but
- 1:28maybe we just started something and then they're gonna win the
- 1:31like the world Juniors and. All are great, listeners are
- 1:33gonna be hype right now to go skate.
- 1:36Yeah, shout out, shout out to them.
- 1:38And generally, do we have people from Finland who listen to the
- 1:42podcast that you know? Of not that I know of,
- 1:44unfortunately. Well, maybe now, yes.
- 1:46Yeah, soon, soon while we welcome you in.
- 1:49Or should I say we Terra vet 2 LOA you to the podcast.

- 2:52is five stars. As per always, we truly
- 2:55appreciate it. To begin, let's go over how our
- 2:58reputation stakers went from last week.
- 3:01So we had Brian Rust General? Yep, 2 assists, 2 points, one
- 3:08power play points. That's WNR books.
- 3:11A great stream. We have are they best stream of
- 3:14all? Time we're so smart, guys.
- 3:17This was. A crazy.
- 3:18Please take our advice. Yeah, nice out Glass Onion,
- 3:22Matthew. 9. Thinking about.
- 3:25That I know you had. You had a locked and loaded.
- 3:28Yeah, ever since that five point game, I, I literally thought of
- 3:31it and I, I've been looking for an opportunity to use it.
- 3:33So thank you to our listeners for allowing me to grace your
- 3:37ears with such a pristine joke. Four goals, two assist, 6 points
- 3:41in like what? What was it like three games?
- 3:44Ridiculous. Yeah, he was.
- 3:45He went off, but just not against me.
- 3:49Yeah, yeah, he totally devoured it last week.
- 3:53And then you have Nick Schmaltz. Boo.
- 3:56Zero points. That's an L for sure.
- 4:00But still, two wins on the season were 16 and 8.
- 4:03So we're doing amazingly well, and you can do amazingly well if
- 4:09you listen to our advice. So keep up the great work
- 4:11everybody. This coming week, Week 15, you
- 4:15have a few teams to avoid. These teams only play two games.
- 4:19You have Boston, Buffalo, Carolina, Minnesota.
- 4:23On those teams. There's a few decently got a
- 4:26decently rostered guys who are droppable in order to pick up
- 4:29some of the other streaming guys.
- 4:31We're about to mention Boston and Minnesota.
- 4:33You don't really have anybody. But on Buffalo you could do Owen
- 4:37Power or Bowen Byram. Yeah, I mean, since Dalens back,
- 4:42he totally is the sheriff in Buffalo.
- 4:44You could just drop the other guys.
- 4:45And then on Carolina, your bread burns.
- 4:50It depends, right? Kevin, you were mentioning
- 4:51there's some nuance. There.
- 4:53Yep, yeah, I I mean, you'll, you'll probably hear it on the
- 4:57episode with you this week for a drop hold.
- 5:00But Brent Burns, if he's on P1, obviously he's roster able.
- 5:03If he's not, he's a cut. That's pretty much it.
- 5:06Yeah, that's straight to the point.
- 5:09I like it. That's exactly it.
- 5:10And yeah, there are teams with two off nights.
- 5:15So even though Buffalo only has two games, check your schedule
- 5:19out for this coming week because they do play on the off nights.
- 5:24So because the busy nights are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday,
- 5:27that could be beneficial for you.
- 5:28Carolina also, they they've got two off night games and then
- 5:34Edmonton got four off night games.
- 5:36Wow. They got a crazy schedule this
- 5:38week. Yeah, pick up anybody there
- 5:41except for Jeff Skinner, please, because he's not good.
- 5:46Check out the draw hold from last week where we explained why
- 5:49he should not be rostered under any circumstances.
- 5:52But that's huge if they've got all the off nights.
- 5:55That happens like a few times a year and it's always great to
- 5:58roster guys from those teams. They're absolutely this one.
- 6:02You can really make the most of it, especially on a lot of weeks
- 6:05when they have a super heavy days like this week.
- 6:08Yazir OK, so let's start with some shots on goal points, power
- 6:12play points guys. So to begin we have Dylan
- 6:16Holloway line 2, power play 2. He is, at this point a must own
- 6:21and he's got three games this week.
- 6:22He's 47% owned only, so he's right at the cusp.
- 6:25But that 50% line that we're drawing, I mean, he's a, he's a
- 6:28walking double, double at this point.
- 6:30Ever since Jim Montgomery took the reins, he's been nuts for
- 6:33fantasy. I mean, the Blues as a whole
- 6:35have all been so much better. All their fantasy assets are
- 6:38contributing, but he's really got the cat coverage to really
- 6:40hold this down, and his performance would even get
- 6:43better if he ends up on P1, which is not unlikely.
- 6:46He's gotten some looks there recently.
- 6:48Yeah, he's a must own moving forward.
- 6:50I think for fantasy, if you're not in a Super Shadow League,
- 6:53but 47% only, we might not be able to talk about it much
- 6:55further. Yeah, this, this stretches
- 7:00beyond this week for sure. I mean, at this point it's it's
- 7:03elite, especially for Bangor leagues, but even for points
- 7:06leagues got a really great floor with the back hats.
- 7:08So yeah, you gotta add them. Then you got Pavel Buchnevich
- 7:13line one power play, 1, three games.
- 7:16I mean, same kind of boat as Holloway, doesn't really hit,
- 7:20but yeah, I mean Line 1P1 is getting exposed to some of the
- 7:22best players on the Blues. He's a great player in himself.
- 7:25He's seen his his points to take a big spike since the new
- 7:28coaching change as well. It means 45% owned.
- 7:31So he's one of those guys that if you're in in a medium kind of
- 7:34shadow league, he's got it. Absolutely should be on the
- 7:37roster moving forward and for this week specifically, he's a
- 7:40great stream. Yeah, I love it.
- 7:42OK, Then we have Dmitri Voronkov, who I feel like at
- 7:47this point I can't properly say his name because Josh just said
- 7:51Warren Cobb so many times. So thanks, Josh.
- 7:54I almost forgot which one was the correct way of pronouncing
- 7:56it. It's Floyd Veronica.
- 7:58That's what every announcer says.
- 8:00And you know I. That's what I used to say, I
- 8:01think. Sean Monahan literally taught me
- 8:04how to speak Russian and him and Dimitri are BFS so I'm pretty
- 8:07sure. I'm trusting Sean.
- 8:08I'm not trusting Josh. Yeah, cool.
- 8:11So Dmitri Voronkov, another must own at this point moving
- 8:14forward. Line one, PowerPoint one and he
- 8:17has three games this week. The only reason, the only reason
- 8:19he's not more owned is literally just name value because his
- 8:22production is insane. If it was anybody else with a
- 8:25bigger name, they'd be like 99% on this point.
- 8:28I mean, obviously you can't really expect this level of
- 8:30production to continue for much longer like throughout the rest
- 8:34of the season. But I mean, listen, would that
- 8:36deployment and how the how Columbus is clicking right now,
- 8:39it would be crazy not to have him on your roster, especially
- 8:42if you have a spot open to stream.
- 8:44He's clear candidate and he should be held until further
- 8:47notice until his deployment either changes or they
- 8:50completely slow down. Yeah, Kevin, said.
- 8:54Noto, that means well said and finish.
- 8:57Thank you. I completely agree with you.
- 9:00Yeah, yeah, this is this mega slightly annoying moving
- 9:03forward. But we should just pretend we
- 9:04have like a third Co host replacing Josh and he only
- 9:07speaks finish and it's just you saying everything that Josh
- 9:10would say but didn't finish. People will be able to tell.
- 9:14I'm dedicated to the craft, but I feel like that may be a step
- 9:17too far. Just an ambitious enough.
- 9:21OK, OK. Alright, next name.
- 9:23I'm gonna leave now and add my. I'm gonna do the podcast by
- 9:26myself and with my friend. Yeah, welcome in everyone.
- 9:32I think that's how you say it. Oh, no, wrong language.
- 9:34It's Terra Vetula. Cool.
- 9:38Anyway, yeah. Love Aaron goblets.
- 9:40Move on to Ryan O'Reilly line 1 Stam out.
- 9:47I said line one if Stam is out. Oh, you could have asked post.
- 9:53You couldn't. No, it was too many letters.
- 9:55I wanted to be cool. Yeah, that's where we draw the
- 9:57line. So if STEM is out, Ryan O'Reilly
- 10:05line one, power play one. He's got three games this week.
- 10:08I think he's an awesome ad banger leagues.
- 10:12He's just been great recently. And over the last month, he's
- 10:15like close to point per game, which is pretty crazy in itself.
- 10:18He was not getting this level of production when he had better
- 10:21appointment. So it's wild to see that he's
- 10:22producing in this level with worst deployment.
- 10:24But I mean, if he's going back to replacing Stamkos, I think
- 10:29you can expect a lot this week. Yeah, you've got to hear me
- 10:33roar, Ryan. O'Reilly our cool and but yeah,
- 10:37it's it's Kat. I'm gonna leave and we're just
- 10:41gonna do it. Don't do, you do.
- 10:43You wanna do the whole podcast and finish because that's just
- 10:45gonna happen. OK, So so yeah, tread lightly.
- 10:50Moving on, we have Jonathan Huberdeau line one power play 1
- 10:53four games this week. So it's like sell highs and
- 10:59streaming guys go hand in hand. He was my cell high last week.
- 11:02And you know, I'd say within that two week threshold, if you
- 11:07will, he's still a must add because he has so many games.
- 11:10He's been doing pretty well, not all long term hold you you wanna
- 11:15sell him. And yeah, I mean, honestly,
- 11:18maybe going into this week as a selling point, you could use it
- 11:21for four games. But nonetheless, if he's on
- 11:22waivers, pick him up, ride it for this week.
- 11:24Tell him if you can as mentioned so.
- 11:26One of the best schedules coming up this week, you have a
- 11:28four-game schedule. They play Chicago, Saint Louis
- 11:31twice and then Winnipeg. I mean Chicago, Saint Louis.
- 11:34Those are teams that can give up a lot of goals.
- 11:36This Calgary team is clicking right now, Huberdeau and I mean
- 11:39the next guy we're going to mention Coleman as well.
- 11:41I mean who were those 37% on Blake Coleman, 29% on he's
- 11:45Colman's line 2P2. They both have four games.
- 11:48They're both producing right now.
- 11:50I think both of them are are clear ads for this upcoming week
- 11:52and great streamers that are available in a lot of leagues.
- 11:56Yeah, yeah, absolutely agree. Then you have Michael Bunting,
- 12:01Line 2 Power play one. He's got three games this week.
- 12:05We mentioned him quite a bit recently because he's getting.
- 12:08The he's only he's only 16% owned, so he's still widely
- 12:11available in almost 80% of leagues.
- 12:16Listen, he's on the P1, he's getting crazy deployment and
- 12:19it's working. It feels like every other game
- 12:21is getting a power play goal or assist, which is honestly nuts.
- 12:24You can't really expect this level of protection to continue,
- 12:26but clearly they found something that worked for them because
- 12:29he's been extremely solid like over the last month.
- 12:31He's at almost a point per game, almost .5 power play points.
- 12:35So if you're looking to stream specifically power play points,
- 12:37he's the guy that I would really try to target ahead of the other
- 12:40names that were mentioning. Also low key, if you're looking
- 12:43long term, I think Pittsburgh becomes a seller of the
- 12:45deadline. So if you end up holding him
- 12:47more than than expected, I would expect him to be one of those
- 12:50names that maybe gets dished out of the trade deadline and can be
- 12:54better for your fantasy team. But right now it's super super
- 12:56hot. Definitely worth a stream in the
- 13:00deeper leagues. Yeah, I love this next one.
- 13:04You got William Ecklund line one power play 2.
- 13:07They've got three games this week.
- 13:08I think especially for deep points leagues, Eckland is
- 13:12totally underrated. I know that his peripherals are
- 13:16a little bit weak, doesn't really get many shots or
- 13:18whatnot, but you know, you're playing.
- 13:22He has such consistent minutes and he has since last year.
- 13:27So I I think that, you know, this is their former 7th overall
- 13:30pick. They want to make it work.
- 13:32I wouldn't be surprised if, you know, moving forward, he's just,
- 13:38he's just gonna be playing that 19 plus minutes per.
- 13:41Night and he's been playing those minutes are gonna have as
- 13:43in it's really just a deployment.
- 13:45I think it's the power play being on P2 really limits is
- 13:47upside. But if he's playing with
- 13:49celebrity or with Granlund, like he's gonna get decent linemates.
- 13:52So it's just about the deployment and a hot streak.
- 13:54I would say his peripherals are really I mean he's not going to
- 13:57really be hitting or blocking his shots can really take a dip,
- 14:00but he can easily get zero shots.
- 14:02You can get four shots religious dependent on night, but his
- 14:05points have been somewhat consistent all season.
- 14:08So if you look in the stream points this week, he's 16%
- 14:11roster. So he's available in almost
- 14:12every league usually get the minutes like Jake just said,
- 14:16he's definitely worth a look and he can be.
- 14:18He has really good schedule coming up.
- 14:20San Jose plays Detroit, Columbus, the Islanders, so not
- 14:22really any juggernaut teams. They can win easily any of those
- 14:26games and score a lot of goals, so I'd be looking at echoing
- 14:29this upcoming week. Yeah, and for what it's worth, I
- 14:31don't think Will Smith is a staple on that power play one by
- 14:33any means. So realistically, especially if
- 14:36going into the Monday, you could see that Echlin has overtaken
- 14:40Will Smith on the power play one.
- 14:41That makes him just all the more appealing.
- 14:43So I really, really like him for this upcoming week.
- 14:46Then you have Tyler Bertuzzi line one power play 1, three
- 14:49games. He's been awesome recently, so I
- 14:52really like it as an ad. The product of playing with the
- 14:55with the Connor Bedard, I guess because he's line 1P1 and ever
- 14:58since he's been there, he's been like a goal scoring machine.
- 15:01So if you're looking for goal specifically, he's one of the
- 15:03names that would target specifically on this list.
- 15:06But besides that, I mean three games, Chicago plays Calgary,
- 15:08Nashville, Vegas. Vegas is a really hard matchup,
- 15:12but Calgary and Nashville can easily concede a lot of goals.
- 15:15I'm looking at Tuesday to be a really good option that honestly
- 15:18is producing at a level way above his roster percentage.
- 15:21Let's get bed darted in here. Sorry I can't riff like forget.
- 15:26You know that song, right? I do not but.
- 15:29You don't know Let's. Well, anyway, they had to rename
- 15:33the song You don't Know. Let's get it started by the
- 15:35Black. Eyed peas.
- 15:36Oh, yes, yeah, no, that's what you were saying.
- 15:39Yeah, but wow, wow, by that off key.
- 15:43What are the kiddos? Left you should hear me singing
- 15:46finish OK anyway I renamed it let's get Bedard so I think I'm
- 15:52very clever then you have Victor Olofsson line 2 power play 1
- 15:56three games this week Allison's always you know when he's on a
- 16:00hot streak he's fantastic so that's also I would say not he's
- 16:05not buried on that line too they have tried him with stone and
- 16:08Michael so we'll see how that goes but overall.
- 16:10Before his injury, he was line one.
- 16:12Now he came back from injuries line 2, but I wouldn't be
- 16:14surprised if he ends up line one.
- 16:16But the most important is that still on that P1 and he's a shoe
- 16:18in for getting a lot of goals and shots.
- 16:20Definitely worth a look. He's only 9% rosters.
- 16:22He's available in 90% of your leagues.
- 16:24So we're getting deep in the woods right here, but all of a
- 16:26sudden is the type of player that doesn't have the name.
- 16:30I mean, previously had the name maybe, but his production
- 16:34severely outweighs his roster level right now.
- 16:36So definitely Adam, if you're in those deep leagues, and I'd be
- 16:40really excited about this upcoming week if you have them.
- 16:42Yeah, yeah. And then least but not last.
- 16:47I mean, he is lost. Yeah, no, it's, it's lost and
- 16:51honestly kind of leased too, if I'm being honest, but only 3%
- 16:56rostered, right? You got 1 deep here.
- 16:58Yeah, you got Mac Coronado Line 2 power play 1 four games,
- 17:02though I do like Coronado as an ad.
- 17:05Of course, I'm less confident than in him than the other guys
- 17:08that we mentioned. But you know, he he's been
- 17:11pretty good and we're in a pretty deep angers league and
- 17:14I'm definitely happy with his production.
- 17:16Lavar especially the other game he got six shots, 3 faceoffs,
- 17:20two hits. Not bad, not bad at all.
- 17:22He also. Forgot US 3% owned.
- 17:25His deployment is actually pretty great.
- 17:27Crazy, crazy 191617, another 19 minute game.
- 17:32Like you know, he got a few over 20 as well.
- 17:34And he's a young guy. They want us, they want to
- 17:37develop him. Not quite excellent pedigree,
- 17:39but yeah, the Calgary likes him. Clearly they're given the
- 17:43opportunities and as you mentioned before, Kevin,
- 17:46Calgary's been clicking, so he's part of that.
- 17:48He'll continue to be a part of that.
- 17:49So definitely if you're in a deep league hold, he may be
- 17:53available, so pick him up. Now, I guess we'll cover some
- 17:56banger streamers for this upcoming week.
- 17:58We'll we'll rattle these off a little quicker if yeah, if you
- 18:02allow me, Jakey. Yes, I will.
- 18:04Do it in English, not finish. Yeah, all good.
- 18:07But wanted to mention the stats are gonna be mentioning it's the
- 18:10last 30 days average. So if you hear some numbers,
- 18:14that's kind of the rubric we're working off.
- 18:17So I mean, we're going to see a lot of familiar names here
- 18:20because we consistently mentioned them for banger
- 18:22streamers. I mean, listen, if they're
- 18:23available and they have a good schedule, like why not, you
- 18:27know, just keep going back to the same guys if they're
- 18:28available in your league. But in Josh Norris, Ottawa
- 18:32Senators, they played four games this week.
- 18:33He's 32% owned. He's a pure C, so that's a
- 18:36little bit of a harder position to fill, but he's at almost
- 18:39double, double, 1.75 shots, two hits a game, great for your
- 18:43team. Will Cooley, arguably one of the
- 18:45best bangers in the league, 31% owned, four games this upcoming
- 18:48week with the Rangers. He's going to get you like
- 18:50almost two shots a game, 3.53 point, six hits a game.
- 18:53Great. Matthew Olivier from the
- 18:56Columbus Blue Jackets, only 14% owned right, so he's available
- 18:59mostly. He's a pure banger though,
- 19:02getting you some hits and blocks from the forward position. 11
- 19:07shot a game, Four hits a game, which is nuts.
- 19:09Over a block a game from a forward is nuts.
- 19:12We just can't really expect too many points from that position.
- 19:16J Pageot. Three games, he'll get two
- 19:18shots, two hits or another double double.
- 19:21And he can sneakily contribute in the points as well.
- 19:24Also valuable in faceoff leagues if you're in there.
- 19:26Yeah, and Pajo I think is of Norris.
- 19:31Norris, I really don't understand why roster so low,
- 19:33but Pageo is a really elite cat coverage guy.
- 19:37So if you're in a bangers league, deep bangers league, I
- 19:39think you should be rostered centre right wing eligibility
- 19:42and if faceoffs, as you mentioned, that's important.
- 19:44So, but yeah, double double guys are not that easy to come by and
- 19:48he does have that point subside once in a while.
- 19:50So yeah, absolutely good. Was just on recently have like
- 19:52some crazy games where he scored goals and got a lot of points
- 19:56with the back Cats to complement that.
- 19:59Yeah, yeah, he's a multidimensional player, so.
- 20:02Good. Thank you.
- 20:03His deployment did change recently where he was instead of
- 20:05playing right wing on line one, he's now centering line 3.
- 20:08So just something to keep in note.
- 20:09Maybe his his play definitely changes, but you know, his
- 20:12banger cats that were specifically recommending him
- 20:14for are going to be consistent. But yeah, after Peugeot, I would
- 20:18mention Martin Pospisil if he's still available in your league.
- 20:20He's arguably one of the best bangers in all of fantasy on
- 20:24Calgary's. They got four games.
- 20:25He's going to really, really banking on just the hits.
- 20:28He'll get you 4.5 hits a game, which is nuts.
- 20:31Like if you have them on your team for four teams, he will he
- 20:35can almost get you 20 hits in the week, which is just insane,
- 20:38right. So we're in a category league,
- 20:40definitely very valuable in leagues account hits for points.
- 20:44Depending on what the metric is there could be very valuable as
- 20:46well. Bobby McCann and you McMahon,
- 20:50sorry, a new kind of it was Bobby McCann.
- 20:54What The Who? Who's that?
- 20:56But three games this week on Toronto, he's gonna get you some
- 20:59shots, some hits and some points.
- 21:03He is definitely one of the lower hit guys that we mentioned
- 21:05on this in this section. Only 1.85, so almost a double
- 21:09double because it's shooting over 2.
- 21:11But I mean he's been really hot lately over the last 30 days .77
- 21:14points. So one of those guys that you
- 21:16know can contribute in the hits, but will really give you some
- 21:19points upside as well. Yeah, he's been great for the
- 21:21leaves and I, I think that, you know, he seems like kind of like
- 21:26a hometown favorite vibe, the way he he plays the game.
- 21:28He's been doing really well. And yeah, with .77 points,
- 21:32clearly the hits aren't his main allure, but you know, if you
- 21:37want a high floor, he's a perfectly good guy to pick up.
- 21:41And out of everybody we're naming, I think at this stage, I
- 21:44I trust McMahon most for points, maybe even over Norris, which is
- 21:48crazy, but he's been really good.
- 21:50So yeah, this this could be a more long term add even.
- 21:53But for this week, pick him up. So he goes.
- 21:56Yep and last but not least for bangers streamers, we got Josh
- 22:00Manson of the Colorado Avalanche.
- 22:02I mean he's been he's been banging a lot since he came back
- 22:04from injury. I mean they really need some
- 22:06guys because they they keep getting hurt even when they get
- 22:08healthy, they get more injuries. So I feel bad for the Colorado
- 22:11Avalanche, but he's he's shooting above 2A game, he's
- 22:14hitting around 3A game and his blocks are are also like around
- 22:171.41.5. So I mean, his his stats are a
- 22:22little bit subject to change given it's a small sample size
- 22:24since his return from injury. But I mean, stream it while it's
- 22:27hot. Colorado's got three games this
- 22:29upcoming week. I would definitely look to to
- 22:31Adam and see how that goes. Yeah, absolutely.
- 22:36So let's move on to some goalie streamers.
- 22:38So these girls are going to get you at least two starts.
- 22:43Yeah. So a couple returning names from
- 22:46this list. You got Carella, Melka.
- 22:49They're playing the Habs, the Rangers and the Blues.
- 22:55I mean, he might get all three games.
- 22:56What a world where I was about to say like, yeah, jobs are
- 23:00easy, Rangers are tough, Saint Louis mediocre.
- 23:03Actually, I think it's the opposite.
- 23:04I think they Canadians are the toughest team in this week for
- 23:08them, honestly, they can win. They're the type of team that
- 23:11could beat anybody and lose to anybody.
- 23:14I know that that sounds obvious, but like, you know, they high
- 23:17floor, low ceiling type team, very volatile, but yeah, good
- 23:20at. This point we know we're getting
- 23:22with milk. He's been on our show
- 23:23consistently. He's always hovering right below
- 23:26that 50% mark. So it's like one of those
- 23:28reliable goals you can always pick up on any given week.
- 23:30Let's get an injury or you need some starts in your schedule is
- 23:33bad for your goalies. He's that guy that's going to be
- 23:36there in half your leagues. Pick him up.
- 23:38You know you could get to three starts every week and some
- 23:41quality as well if you're lucky. Yeah, then you got Cam Talbot.
- 23:46I I guess a little caveat here is kind of like whoever the Red
- 23:49Wings starter. Is pretty much but Alex Lyon
- 23:51just left last game injured so Talbot may be the guy if line is
- 23:55not healthy to go. Yes, if it is Talbot, he's a
- 24:00great ad. The I think of the party's going
- 24:04to party's gonna end for the Red Wings sooner than later, but I
- 24:07mean, perhaps next week they'll still keep the ball rolling.
- 24:09So I mean, this upcoming week is going to be tough, right,
- 24:11because they they play San Jose to start the week, which is
- 24:14fine. But then it's Florida, Tampa,
- 24:16Dallas. So the party may be over this
- 24:18upcoming week, but this is this is a quantity play as opposed to
- 24:21quality play. Yeah, well said.
- 24:24Then you got Elvis Mursley, Akins.
- 24:26The Blue Jackets are playing Philly, San Jose and the
- 24:29Rangers. I think that they can win all
- 24:32these three games. It's kind of similar to the Utah
- 24:35where, you know, they can win. They could beat any team or they
- 24:40could lose to any team. There's no predictability with
- 24:42these teams at the end of the day.
- 24:44But truly Columbus can beat these teams.
- 24:47Like reasonably possible. So I mean, there's a reason why
- 24:50Elvis is only 25% owned and it's because, yes, he's starting
- 24:55basically all the games for Columbus, But they they they
- 24:59play a style of play where you know they're winning games like
- 25:0165, right? It's not those two one games
- 25:03where you know you're getting a good save percentage when it's
- 25:06when it's a win is like almost all their games end up being
- 25:08shootouts. So you gotta expect me.
- 25:11The quality is not gonna be that high.
- 25:14But if you're just looking at getting saves and starts like
- 25:17he's the guy to get off waivers, right?
- 25:20He's 25% owned. 3/4 of your league is gonna be on waivers.
- 25:24If you're desperate, he's the guy you look at.
- 25:27Yep. And then you have Yaroslav
- 25:29Askarov at 20% owned. They are playing Detroit,
- 25:33Columbus Islanders. You know, we've mentioned him on
- 25:37an earlier episode. I think that this is an
- 25:40extremely exciting opportunity to pick up a goalie off waivers
- 25:43who is going to be a part of a young, inconsistent team.
- 25:46However, his ceiling is easily the highest out of all these
- 25:51goalies. His floor is probably the
- 25:54lowest. I mean, like Elvis is floor is
- 25:57pretty low too and Talbot, you know, if if lions there, who
- 26:00knows, But I think Askerov is the type of guy that you you
- 26:03should definitely roster him, you know, for this week against
- 26:08reasonable opponents, I would say.
- 26:11Yeah, I think I'd like to ask her more than Elvis this
- 26:13upcoming week. Yeah, me too, Me too.
- 26:15I mean, just spitballing here though, but if I had to rank
- 26:18these for this upcoming week if Talbot is the starter caveat,
- 26:24but we'll see. But anyway, Talbot would be my
- 26:26favorite. Then I would say Malka, then
- 26:29Askarov, then Elvis. How about you?
- 26:31I would put America first and then ask ROV, then Elvis, then
- 26:37Talbot. I think Talbot is my least
- 26:38favorite just because he's toughest competition.
- 26:41Fair. So I know where we're looking at
- 26:44quantity here, but also I think Velka is easily to get three
- 26:47games. I think the other goals are most
- 26:50likely to get at least 2. So it's one of those things
- 26:53where I'm just trusting the matchups a little bit more.
- 26:55I think they have the exact opposite schedule.
- 26:58So we'll see who is right this time next week.
- 27:01No reputation takers for that one though.
- 27:03That's just that's just a list anyway.
- 27:04And then we got a quality start. So this is someone who's going
- 27:07to get a really good start that you could consider picking up.
- 27:10Got Casey. Will say this week harder for
- 27:13the quality starts, not many, many, many back-to-back.
- 27:16So it was kind of slim pickings when you're when you're looking
- 27:18at the matchups. Yeah.
- 27:20So the Smith Sunday versus the Detroit Red Wings, I think, I
- 27:26think that's a good one. Dallas is gonna be heavy
- 27:28favorite against Detroit, so if you're looking to stream of win
- 27:31come Sunday, that's gonna be one of your guys.
- 27:34Let's see what happens. I mean, the Red Wings have been
- 27:36on fire, but yeah, I mean. But.
- 27:39If the party it's true, it's true previous.
- 27:42I mean, I do think that like eventually things are going to
- 27:45turn around. But yeah, they do have a tough
- 27:47schedule. Dallas is a considerably better
- 27:49team. So probabilistically this is a
- 27:52good choice. Smith.
- 27:53Anything gonna happen, but we're playing the probabilities here.
- 27:56Yeah, then he got Yakub Dobbs playing the New York Rangers on
- 28:01Sunday. He's been so good for the
- 28:03Canadians. Who knows how long that's going
- 28:08to last also, but yeah, it could be a really good option.
- 28:10Playing playing the Rangers on on streaming against the Rangers
- 28:14can go either way really because they've been really bad.
- 28:17But we know that they're capable of having a good game.
- 28:20But I mean, double s have been solid.
- 28:22I'd be making on it. If I really was desperate for
- 28:25one quality start, I'd look into it.
- 28:27Yeah, and last but not least, I literally said least knows.
- 28:32That's why he said that. OK, cool.
- 28:34That makes sense. Yeah, last, but I'll least you
- 28:37got Jake Allen playing either Philly or Ottawa on Saturday.
- 28:40Sunday. This is the double s are.
- 28:43One of my favorite stream. League, yeah, one of the best
- 28:46teams in the league. So you pick them up and good
- 28:49chance you're gonna get the win. That's true.
- 28:51Yeah, exactly. I think the last time we have to
- 28:54cover is our refuge stake, reputation stakes for the week.
- 28:58That's true. I forgot.
- 29:00OK, So will Kevin have a house? Will Kevin have a house?
- 29:06Yeah. The reputation stakers.
- 29:08For this week we have Ryan O'Reilly, Jonathan Huberdeau and
- 29:15William Eckland. I'm very confident in those.
- 29:19I mean, listen, two out of three of those guys that only have
- 29:21three games this week, I think the best streamers are on
- 29:23three-game teams. So we're putting our money where
- 29:25our mouth is, We're putting Kevin's house where our mouth
- 29:28is. So we'll see how it goes.
- 29:30But we've been successful as of late.
- 29:32So listen, I'm confident. Yep, that's yeah, that's it.
