- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to a meeting of the minds crafted from decades
- 0:05Speaker 1: of talk show experience. An extension of the magic they've
- 0:08Speaker 1: created together on radio in the phenomenon called M & M.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Hot topics in the news and wisdom from life. It's
- 0:16Speaker 1: Mark Davis and Mike Gallagher. This is M & M Extra.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Remember the bumper sticker that said America, love it or
- 0:26Speaker 2: leave it? Gosh, I've been thinking a lot about that,
- 0:29Speaker 2: especially after I saw the clip from Judge Judy that
- 0:32Speaker 2: I want to share with you as we kick off
- 0:33Speaker 2: this Wednesday episode of M & M Extra. I'm Mike.
- 0:37Speaker 2: He's Mark. He's off for a couple of days enjoying vacation.
- 0:41Speaker 2: So we're flying solo, and we've got some great, great
- 0:44Speaker 2: things to cover today on our M & M Extra episode, sponsored,
- 0:49Speaker 2: of course, by Preborn, where you get a chance to
- 0:52Speaker 2: stand for life and By providing ultrasounds to women who
- 0:57Speaker 2: are considering an abortion, you'll double the likelihood that she's
- 1:00Speaker 2: going to choose life when she sees her baby on
- 1:03Speaker 2: an ultrasound. And you can be a part of that
- 1:05Speaker 2: beautiful process. Call 833-850 to support Preborn today. Call 833-850-BABY
- 1:13Speaker 2: or go to preborn.com slash mmextra, preborn.com slash mmextra. You know,
- 1:20Speaker 2: I can't wait till Mark gets back. I want to
- 1:23Speaker 2: find out, because I have a feeling he might push
- 1:26Speaker 2: back a little bit on the attitude, America, love it
- 1:31Speaker 2: or leave it. And there was a simplicity to that.
- 1:35Speaker 2: And this was when I was a kid. I mean,
- 1:37Speaker 2: this used to be popular, I want to say, when
- 1:39Speaker 2: I was maybe a teenager. And I remember seeing those
- 1:43Speaker 2: bumper stickers everywhere. America, love it or leave it. As
- 1:49Speaker 2: we get closer and closer to the midterm elections, Voters
- 1:53Speaker 2: are going to get to make a choice between people
- 1:57Speaker 2: who seem to hate this country, who despise our policies,
- 2:04Speaker 2: who believe that we are a racist nation. They always
- 2:07Speaker 2: go to the absolute worst instincts. Did you hear the
- 2:13Speaker 2: story out of Mississippi of a young black woman who
- 2:18Speaker 2: was found hanging from a tree in early August? Her
- 2:21Speaker 2: name is Tazi of Fortune. And the Associated Press took
- 2:27Speaker 2: her hanging homicide. She was killed. And they ran with
- 2:33Speaker 2: the narrative that her death, and I'm quoting here from
- 2:38Speaker 2: the Associated Press, has stirred distressing memories of the grim
- 2:44Speaker 2: history of lynchings across the U.S. South. Now, They made
- 2:51Speaker 2: an arrest, and the authorities are quite confident that they
- 2:56Speaker 2: have their man. He's a 51-year-old guy known as Jock,
- 3:02Speaker 2: Jock Ratliff, who knew her. They had some association with
- 3:09Speaker 2: one another. He's been arrested. He's a black man. And,
- 3:17Speaker 2: of course, that destroys— the entire race hustling narrative that
- 3:24Speaker 2: we're returning to an era of lynchings. And I can
- 3:30Speaker 2: promise you there's young black kids in America who maybe
- 3:33Speaker 2: saw news coverage of the death of Tassie of Fortune,
- 3:38Speaker 2: this young woman. And they see the Associated Press headline
- 3:43Speaker 2: because the AP is the gold standard for news coverage.
- 3:48Speaker 2: People online, newspapers, TV, radio stations, they rely on the
- 3:52Speaker 2: Associated Press. I guarantee you that coverage got advanced. We're
- 3:59Speaker 2: returning to lynchings again. Things are so bad. Young black
- 4:05Speaker 2: women are being lynched in Mississippi all over again. Turned
- 4:11Speaker 2: out the police say it was a black man who
- 4:14Speaker 2: murdered a black woman. And there is no lynching narrative.
- 4:19Speaker 2: There is no racial component. This is an example, apparently,
- 4:25Speaker 2: of an evil person doing an evil, unspeakable thing. And
- 4:31Speaker 2: they ran with this narrative. They held press conferences. They
- 4:36Speaker 2: were wringing their hands out. Was Benjamin Crump on the scene? Tracy,
- 4:43Speaker 2: do we know? Did Benjamin Crump show up? Is he
- 4:47Speaker 2: representing the family? What's he going to do now that
- 4:51Speaker 2: the murder suspect is a black man? But go back
- 4:56Speaker 2: to my point about hating America. Go back to my
- 5:01Speaker 2: original belief that people on the left, that Democrats by
- 5:07Speaker 2: and large, hate America. what our country is all about. America,
- 5:13Speaker 2: love it or leave it. Think about that important, powerful mantra.
- 5:22Speaker 2: You a fan of Judge Judy? I'll tell you a
- 5:25Speaker 2: very funny story. Many years ago, Denise and the kids
- 5:28Speaker 2: and I lived in Manhasset, New York. Manhasset is an
- 5:31Speaker 2: idyllic community on Long Island. It's on the north shore
- 5:34Speaker 2: of Long Island. Exit 35 off the LIE. And there
- 5:39Speaker 2: was a diner down the street from our house when
- 5:42Speaker 2: we first moved to Manhasset. Right there on Northern Boulevard.
- 5:47Speaker 2: And I'll never forget this. Judge Judy came marching into
- 5:50Speaker 2: the diner. And Denise and I are sitting there eating
- 5:53Speaker 2: our meal. And I looked up. I said, honey, that's
- 5:54Speaker 2: Judge Judy. And she was with her husband. And in person,
- 6:00Speaker 2: Judge Judy said, is everything you think she is. I mean,
- 6:05Speaker 2: she's bossy. She's loud. She was demanding. She demanded to
- 6:12Speaker 2: be served. I mean, she's a piece of work. And
- 6:17Speaker 2: now she's 83 years old, and she's still going strong.
- 6:20Speaker 2: But she's had a long run of as a very
- 6:24Speaker 2: popular judge on TV. And they bring these stupid cases.
- 6:29Speaker 2: The tree is in the backyard leaning over my fence
- 6:32Speaker 2: and all this crap. And she yells at everybody. And
- 6:35Speaker 2: it's hysterical. I've watched Judge Judy off and on over
- 6:38Speaker 2: the years. And I can assure you, after watching her
- 6:42Speaker 2: in that diner, I'll never forget her behavior in that diner.
- 6:47Speaker 2: She wanted everybody to know that she was here. And
- 6:50Speaker 2: she wanted to make sure every waiter and waitress knew
- 6:53Speaker 2: took good care of her because, after all, she's Judge Judy.
- 6:57Speaker 2: So she sits down this week, and I don't even
- 7:01Speaker 2: know when the interview was, but it popped up on
- 7:02Speaker 2: my social media feed. USA Today interviewed her. And USA
- 7:07Speaker 2: Today got this sort of monologue from her about those
- 7:17Speaker 2: in America who hate this country. And her message is
- 7:22Speaker 2: crystal clear. This is our house. This is our home.
- 7:28Speaker 2: We love our home. We love America. And if you don't,
- 7:33Speaker 2: it's a big, beautiful world out there. Find another country
- 7:38Speaker 2: where you'll be happier. I had to share this with you.
- 7:41Speaker 2: I played it a lot on my show earlier, but
- 7:43Speaker 2: let me play it for you here today on Eminem Extra.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Next year, and this gets political. which I don't mind.
- 7:52Speaker 3: I have a house and I have a home. I
- 7:54Speaker 3: consider America my home. America has been good to me.
- 7:58Speaker 3: I think that it's the greatest country in the world.
- 8:01Speaker 3: If you don't like this country, go somewhere else. Don't
- 8:04Speaker 3: come to the greatest country in the world, the most
- 8:07Speaker 3: successful country in the world, and say, I want to
- 8:12Speaker 3: change it. There are other countries that are the something
- 8:15Speaker 3: else that you want. Go there. Go there. But don't
- 8:18Speaker 3: come into my home. America is my home. Don't come
- 8:24Speaker 3: into my home and say, I want to change it.
- 8:26Speaker 3: You may say, I want to give more people opportunity.
- 8:32Speaker 3: I want to change certain things the way certain things,
- 8:37Speaker 3: the way we do business. But we are a capitalist
- 8:40Speaker 3: country that revered excellence, that revered entrepreneurship, that revered all
- 8:47Speaker 3: the things that made us great, that produced an apple.
- 8:52Speaker 3: And Amazon, AI, whether you like it or not, it's there.
- 8:57Speaker 3: It produced the Salk vaccine. It produced all of the
- 9:02Speaker 3: major inroads in medicine. And we did that because we
- 9:06Speaker 3: encouraged brilliance and excellence. We gave them those people a push.
- 9:12Speaker 3: They were gifted classes. which I know public schools used
- 9:16Speaker 3: to have. Now it's taboo. Everybody should be equal. Well,
- 9:20Speaker 3: everybody's not equal. Some people are tall. Some people are short.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Some people are musical. Some people are not. Some people
- 9:26Speaker 3: have big breasts. Some people have no breasts. They're different.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Don't come into my house, which is a perfect house,
- 9:34Speaker 3: and tell me, Looks nice from the outside, but I'm
- 9:38Speaker 3: going to change it inside to make it more of
- 9:40Speaker 3: what we like. More vanilla gray, everything muted colors. Look,
- 9:47Speaker 3: that's the way we should be living today. Don't come
- 9:50Speaker 3: here to redecorate. You don't like my house? Stay in
- 9:52Speaker 3: your own house or find a different house.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Gosh, I love that so much.
- 9:59Speaker 3: I love.
- 10:00Speaker 2: that attitude so much. And she's pointing out, she said, look,
- 10:03Speaker 2: I understand you could say I want to change certain
- 10:06Speaker 2: aspects of what we do. We can debate policy, but
- 10:09Speaker 2: you can't fundamentally change the United States of America. Now,
- 10:14Speaker 2: if you hate the United States of America, you would
- 10:18Speaker 2: want to change You would want that fundamental change. Incidentally,
- 10:25Speaker 2: if you love that clip, and we appreciate offering it
- 10:29Speaker 2: to you here on our podcast, YouTube and Apple and Spotify,
- 10:32Speaker 2: wherever you get your podcasts, we also are happy to
- 10:36Speaker 2: send you that clip. We use a text line, 800-655-MIKE, 800-655-6453.
- 10:44Speaker 2: And we will, if you text the keyword Judy to 800-655-6453,
- 10:50Speaker 2: we'll send you back that video clip from USA Today.
- 10:53Speaker 2: And bravo, bravo, bravo, Judge Judy. You know, I actually
- 10:58Speaker 2: have a sort of begrudging respect for rich, famous people
- 11:06Speaker 2: who are fed up with the United States and they leave.
- 11:10Speaker 2: They leave the country. I mean, you go back, I
- 11:13Speaker 2: think Johnny Depp lives in Paris. Didn't Ellen DeGeneres, I think,
- 11:20Speaker 2: go to the UK? And Rosie O'Donnell went to Ireland.
- 11:26Speaker 2: She was afraid, she said, for her safety and the
- 11:30Speaker 2: safety of her family. She thought Trump was going to
- 11:32Speaker 2: come round her up. So what did she do? Apparently she...
- 11:37Speaker 2: obtained dual or she has dual citizenship because her grandmother
- 11:41Speaker 2: was from Ireland. Incidentally, my grandmother was from Ireland too.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Does that mean I can become a dual citizen? You
- 11:50Speaker 2: think I have dual citizenship? My grandparents were from Ireland
- 11:53Speaker 2: and Lithuania. I could be, I could have a trio
- 11:57Speaker 2: of citizenships, United States, Ireland, and Lithuania. And the reason
- 12:03Speaker 2: maybe I should become a dual citizen, I'll pull a Rosie.
- 12:06Speaker 2: And if Kamala Harris or Gavin Newsom get elected and
- 12:09Speaker 2: they want to round me up someday, I can go
- 12:11Speaker 2: flee to Ireland. But all kidding aside, I admire somebody
- 12:18Speaker 2: who says, you know what? I hate the place. I
- 12:20Speaker 2: hate the president. I hate the people who voted for him.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Half the country stinks. I don't like these conservatives. I
- 12:29Speaker 2: don't like a secure border. I don't like cops. I
- 12:31Speaker 2: don't like the military. I'm going to move to Ireland.
- 12:34Speaker 2: I'm rich. I can do it. I'm going to take
- 12:37Speaker 2: my kids or whatever. I'm going to go to Ireland.
- 12:42Speaker 2: You know what? There's something noble about that to me.
- 12:48Speaker 2: There's something fairly honorable about that actually to me at least.
- 12:58Speaker 2: But you're ready for the spoiler alert? She's back. She
- 13:04Speaker 2: couldn't stay away. How long did she stay in Ireland?
- 13:08Speaker 2: What was it, a year?
- 13:11Speaker 3: She's back.
- 13:12Speaker 2: She's off Broadway. She's on Broadway. She's doing a guest
- 13:16Speaker 2: stint in a Broadway show. She's guest hosted Jimmy Kimmel Live.
- 13:23Speaker 2: She's doing, I guess, stand-up again. She couldn't stay away.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Doesn't that tell you something? Doesn't that speak volumes about
- 13:36Speaker 2: these haters? Sure, they hate on America a lot. They
- 13:43Speaker 2: hate this country with every fiber of their being. But
- 13:49Speaker 2: it keeps pulling them back. It's amazing. Artificial intelligence was
- 13:55Speaker 2: addressed in President Trump's speech before the UN General Assembly
- 14:00Speaker 2: this week. The other day, we had Craig W. Stanfill
- 14:03Speaker 2: in here, and it was so fun to talk to
- 14:05Speaker 2: this AI pioneer. Every single day, we're seeing headlines about
- 14:10Speaker 2: artificial intelligence. And that's why you're going to love this book,
- 14:14Speaker 2: Carbon Zero, the latest novel from our friend Craig Stanfill.
- 14:18Speaker 2: He has spent years working in artificial intelligence. He understands
- 14:22Speaker 2: its potential and the risks. And you will not be
- 14:26Speaker 2: able to put this book down. And it's finally available
- 14:29Speaker 2: for sale now on Amazon. For weeks, I've been telling
- 14:33Speaker 2: you about the pre-sale. Now it's here. You can order
- 14:36Speaker 2: it on Amazon. Carbon Zero by Craig W. Stanfill. I mean,
- 14:39Speaker 2: I'll share with you the premise. What if an AI
- 14:42Speaker 2: engineer sort of inadvertently unleashed worldwide catastrophe by telling AI
- 14:49Speaker 2: to do something? And the wonderment of the book is
- 14:53Speaker 2: that it could be real. Carbon Zero. Go to Amazon now.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Look for Carbon Zero by Craig W. Stanfill. Carbon Zero
- 15:02Speaker 2: by Craig W. Stanfill. It's a book you're going to love.
- 15:05Speaker 2: I think you're also going to love the latest round
- 15:08Speaker 2: of misinformation regarding the mass deportation of illegals. Have you
- 15:15Speaker 2: followed the case of the illegal from Venezuela in Austin, Texas?
- 15:20Speaker 2: More on that in just a moment. But before we
- 15:23Speaker 2: get to Will Cain's very smart takedown of the official narrative,
- 15:29Speaker 2: let me help you take down pain. Relief Factor has
- 15:32Speaker 2: been the godsend that I was looking for with my
- 15:35Speaker 2: lower back pain. And I admit it wasn't debilitating back pain,

- 16:40Speaker 2: or call 800-4-RELIEF, 800-4-RELIEF. All right, there was a Venezuelan
- 16:47Speaker 2: illegal got shot in Austin, Texas, in a conflict with
- 16:52Speaker 2: law enforcement. And it's important, I choose my words carefully here,
- 16:57Speaker 2: Because that's exactly what it was, a conflict with law enforcement.
- 17:01Speaker 2: ICE is law enforcement. Like it or not, you can
- 17:05Speaker 2: call them thugs, fascists, Nazis, whatever name you want to
- 17:10Speaker 2: come up with, they are law enforcement. Just like a
- 17:15Speaker 2: sheriff's deputy, just like a police officer, just like a
- 17:19Speaker 2: state trooper, a detective, they are law enforcement. And they
- 17:27Speaker 2: are charged with enforcing our immigration laws. And occasionally, when
- 17:35Speaker 2: they are apprehending and stopping an illegal, things can go sideways.
- 17:42Speaker 2: That's what happened in Austin, Texas. A guy got shot.
- 17:47Speaker 2: But that's all people knew. And they ran with a
- 17:50Speaker 2: narrative that simply wasn't true. A big shout out and
- 17:54Speaker 2: a salute to Will Kane. I'm not always with Will
- 17:58Speaker 2: Kane on everything. I like the guy. I think he's
- 18:00Speaker 2: a good host in the afternoons on Fox News. I
- 18:03Speaker 2: read somewhere that he's livid that Trump sat down with
- 18:06Speaker 2: Zoran Mamdani. He thinks it's terrible. He thinks that's awful.
- 18:10Speaker 2: He doesn't know what Trump is thinking. Trust Trump. Trust
- 18:15Speaker 2: this president. He knows what he's doing and he's a
- 18:17Speaker 2: New Yorker. He wants New York to succeed. He wants
- 18:20Speaker 2: the country to succeed. And yes, that sometimes means you're
- 18:25Speaker 2: going to have to Sit down with your political opponents.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Any event, here's Will Kane talking about this shooting of
- 18:33Speaker 2: this illegal from Venezuela on Fox News Channel.
- 18:38Speaker 5: And almost immediately, the left was out with this talking point.
- 18:43Speaker 5: You heard it uttered by Obama bros and Senate candidate
- 18:47Speaker 5: James Tallarico that the illegal immigrant was in fact a
- 18:51Speaker 5: legal immigrant and was here on a work permit. That's
- 18:54Speaker 5: not true. The reality is that he entered in 2024
- 18:58Speaker 5: using the CBP1 cell phone app, and he wasn't the
- 19:02Speaker 5: only one. More than 936,000 people made appointments and legally
- 19:07Speaker 5: crossed the border through the app, most of them coming
- 19:10Speaker 5: from Venezuela, Cuba, or Mexico. That context was conveniently missing
- 19:14Speaker 5: from Congressman Greg Kassar's demand for ICE to leave Austin.
- 19:20Speaker 5: That's Kassar. He looks like a character out of Sesame Street.
- 19:23Speaker 5: He looks simply unreal, talking about the horror that ICE
- 19:27Speaker 5: has brought to Austin. But this is a man that's
- 19:30Speaker 5: used to D-list acting. Remember when he went on a
- 19:33Speaker 5: performative hunger and thirst strike?
- 19:37Speaker 2: We're out here on Third Strike to respect the American people.
- 19:41Speaker 2: What do y'all say?
- 19:41Speaker 4: Yeah!
- 19:50Speaker 5: Went nearly nine hours, nine, without food or water. He did, though,
- 19:56Speaker 5: have a staff attending to his every medical need, presumably
- 19:59Speaker 5: helping with the hair dye, ensuring that it doesn't run
- 20:02Speaker 5: down and sweat along his back. brave. That charade, though,
- 20:07Speaker 5: is about as fake as this entire coordinated timeline of
- 20:10Speaker 5: protests in Austin. See, it started at 419 p.m. on Sunday.
- 20:15Speaker 5: That's when the Party of Socialism and Liberation posted about
- 20:18Speaker 5: the shooting, calling out ICE and telling them to get
- 20:22Speaker 5: out of Austin. And then who jumped in? Of course,
- 20:25Speaker 5: the DSA. Soon after, on Sunday at about 4.30 p.m.
- 20:29Speaker 5: local time, the Austin chapter of the Democratic Socialist of
- 20:32Speaker 5: America posted a graphic labeled Emergency Demonstration Vigil, calling on
- 20:37Speaker 5: supporters to gather at 8121 Research Boulevard from 5 p.m.
- 20:42Speaker 5: to 8 p.m. That was on Sunday for a, quote,
- 20:46Speaker 5: spontaneous protest. Just about an hour later, the PSL had
- 20:50Speaker 5: announced that a live crowd had gathered where the shooting
- 20:52Speaker 5: took place. Less than 24 hours after that, a new
- 20:56Speaker 5: call to action moved activists to Pearsall Detention Center, where
- 21:00Speaker 5: local groups claimed ICE agents allegedly held the detainee in custody.
- 21:04Speaker 5: Boots on the ground, the Post demanded. Most disturbing, then,
- 21:09Speaker 5: was this video from yesterday. Having been activated, we now
- 21:14Speaker 5: see the results, showing people masked but midriff-bared, calling for
- 21:20Speaker 5: the death of President Trump. Kill Donald Trump, it reads.
- 21:29Speaker 2: How good is that? That's analysis. That's called clarity. That's
- 21:32Speaker 2: what we need now more than ever. The clarity is
- 21:36Speaker 2: definitely lacking. People are baffled. People are confused. And people
- 21:42Speaker 2: are accepting wickedness. I hope you join us for tomorrow's
- 21:47Speaker 2: Eminem Extra because I'm going to feature my interview with Dr.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Michael Youssef. he's as good as anybody on the issue
- 21:57Speaker 2: of good versus evil. And what we're witnessing now is
- 22:03Speaker 2: way beyond policy disagreements. I'm going to Los Angeles later
- 22:10Speaker 2: this week for a big town hall event that the
- 22:13Speaker 2: KRLA radio is putting on along with all of our
- 22:15Speaker 2: partners in Pasadena. I'm going to be there with Larry
- 22:18Speaker 2: O'Connor and Larry Elder and Alex Marlow from the Salem crowd.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Steve Hilton, the wonderful, wonderful Republican candidate out there. Nick Shirley,
- 22:33Speaker 2: looking forward to meeting that young man who's been doing
- 22:36Speaker 2: a great job with his activism and his citizen journalism.
- 22:43Speaker 2: But I want to make sure that when I'm on stage...
- 22:47Speaker 2: in addition to the 9-11 tribute that I'm going to
- 22:49Speaker 2: be presenting to the audience, we're going to be in
- 22:53Speaker 2: a panel discussion, and I really hope to be able
- 22:55Speaker 2: to advance my belief that we're way beyond policy differences.
- 23:06Speaker 2: We're not looking at Democrat versus Republican ideology anymore. We're
- 23:13Speaker 2: watching a level of wickedness and evil that has reared
- 23:17Speaker 2: its ugly head because there is no pushback. People are
- 23:23Speaker 2: getting away with the unthinkable. If I told you that
- 23:27Speaker 2: a highly compensated, high profile TV star went on her
- 23:34Speaker 2: show and proudly bragged about getting a cold-blooded murderer off
- 23:41Speaker 2: the hook when she was on a jury, And she
- 23:45Speaker 2: went on, incidentally, to become a judge, as she never
- 23:49Speaker 2: forgets to tell everybody, or a prosecutor, rather, a federal prosecutor,
- 23:53Speaker 2: as she never stops to remind people. If I told
- 23:56Speaker 2: you that this woman, Sunny Hostin, star of ABC's The View,
- 24:02Speaker 2: literally bragged about convincing 11 of the 12 jurors that
- 24:07Speaker 2: she was on that a man who murdered his roommate
- 24:14Speaker 2: chopped up her body, ate her brains, and boiled her
- 24:21Speaker 2: body parts and fed her body parts to the homeless.
- 24:27Speaker 2: And this guy was, of course, brought up on first-degree
- 24:31Speaker 2: murder charges in New York City. She went on her
- 24:36Speaker 2: TV show this week and she bragged that she was
- 24:41Speaker 2: the lone holdout against convicting the guy, holding him accountable, responsible.
- 24:52Speaker 2: She was the one who managed to convince the other
- 24:56Speaker 2: jurors that he didn't mean to do what he did.
- 25:04Speaker 2: If I told you this, you wouldn't believe me, right?
- 25:06Speaker 2: You'd say, there's no way, there is no way that
- 25:11Speaker 2: Sonny Hostin would have enthusiastically bragged about doing such an
- 25:19Speaker 2: unthinkable thing. Well, she did. And here's the clip.
- 25:25Speaker 4: The insanity defense has been around in Massachusetts for 182 years.
- 25:28Speaker 4: So I think it's well established. And I thought absolutely
- 25:33Speaker 4: that she was not criminally responsible for by reason of insanity.
- 25:38Speaker 4: And the reason I felt that I feel so strongly
- 25:41Speaker 4: about this holdout juror is because I was a holdout
- 25:43Speaker 4: juror in a case, in the Daniel Rakowitz case. I
- 25:45Speaker 4: don't know if people remember it, the butcher of Tompkins
- 25:47Speaker 4: Square Park.
- 25:48Speaker 5: It was in 1990.
- 25:49Speaker 3: The guy who ate the victims? Yes. You were on
- 25:52Speaker 3: that jury? You're going to need to explain more.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Yes, I was.
- 25:55Speaker 3: Were you on.
- 25:55Speaker 4: The jury already? It was before I went to law school.
- 25:58Speaker 3: Oh, because I would have never put.
- 25:59Speaker 1: You on the jury.
- 26:00Speaker 4: And when I brought it up in the high school,
- 26:02Speaker 4: When I brought it up at the Hot Topics meeting,
- 26:04Speaker 4: I don't think everyone believed me. And then my producer
- 26:06Speaker 4: looked it up and I'm in the New York Times.
- 26:09Speaker 4: And apparently several jurors questioned afterwards said one holdout juror
- 26:13Speaker 4: was principally responsible for preventing them from returning a guilty verdict.
- 26:19Speaker 4: That was me. And it was because I saw clearly
- 26:23Speaker 4: that he was psychotic.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Of course.
- 26:25Speaker 4: He was in psychosis. He did not mean to kill her.
- 26:30Speaker 4: And once he killed her, he panicked. He chopped up
- 26:33Speaker 4: her body parts. Yes, boiled her body parts. Tried to
- 26:36Speaker 4: commit the perfect crime and then fed her.
- 26:38Speaker 2: And you got this guy off?
- 26:39Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 26:42Speaker 4: But he fed, that's how much I believe in the
- 26:44Speaker 4: insanity defense. And he fed her body parts to the unhoused.
- 26:48Speaker 5: Excuse me, can I move over?
- 26:49Speaker 4: Yes. I don't need to be around. But all that
- 26:52Speaker 4: being said, it was so clear to me in the jury.
- 26:55Speaker 4: And we were sequestered for nine days. One juror threw
- 26:58Speaker 4: a chair at me.
- 26:59Speaker 5: They were so.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Angry with me.
- 27:00Speaker 4: But one by one, I picked them off and said,
- 27:02Speaker 4: what about this? What about that? And we ended up,
- 27:05Speaker 4: all 12, unanimously voting that he was not criminally responsible.
- 27:09Speaker 3: Just hungry.
- 27:10Speaker 4: See, that's my issue with the law. But he is
- 27:14Speaker 4: still in a mental institution being treated.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Maybe watching her from his hospital room. Maybe he gets
- 27:24Speaker 2: to watch The View every day and he can grin
- 27:26Speaker 2: from ear to ear knowing that she's the lunatic who
- 27:32Speaker 2: got him off the hook. Did you hear the joy
- 27:35Speaker 2: in that lone juror she proudly proclaimed? That was me.
- 27:41Speaker 2: That was me. Aren't I special? And he didn't mean
- 27:46Speaker 2: to kill her. And after he killed her, He panicked,
- 27:50Speaker 2: and he chopped up her body and boiled her body,
- 27:54Speaker 2: ate her brains, and fed the body parts to the unhoused,
- 28:00Speaker 2: as she put it, because Sonny Hostin isn't going to
- 28:03Speaker 2: dare use the, what is it now, the H word? Homeless?
- 28:09Speaker 2: My gosh. My gosh. Don't forget to like and subscribe
- 28:13Speaker 2: our podcast. We appreciate Eminem Extra viewers. listeners, podcasts, subscribers.

- 30:29Speaker 2: have I got the program for you. It's called PhD

- 30:34Speaker 2: much I'd lost. I've just been kind of doing it.
- 30:36Speaker 2: I've been eating smart. I've been following the PhD guidelines.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Because I got sloppy last year. And I put some
- 30:42Speaker 2: weight back on. And I figured I needed to lose
- 30:45Speaker 2: about 10 or 15 pounds to kind of get back down.
- 30:47Speaker 2: You know what I've lost? Since June 25th. I looked
- 30:50Speaker 2: it up last night. Are you ready for this? 38 pounds.
- 30:54Speaker 2: What's today? September 22nd. I'm not kidding you. From June
- 30:58Speaker 2: 25th to September 22nd, Mike Gallagher has let go of

- 31:46Speaker 2: Los Angeles, which is all about health. It's all about
- 31:50Speaker 2: this stenosis I have, this arterial sclerosis or however the
- 31:55Speaker 2: heck you pronounce it. I've got a 52% blockage in
- 31:58Speaker 2: the widow maker. And yeah, I'm a little apprehensive about it.
- 32:02Speaker 2: And one thing I love about this podcast space is
- 32:04Speaker 2: we can get very personal. So I'm going to get
- 32:06Speaker 2: very personal with you on our final day together on Friday,
- 32:10Speaker 2: day after tomorrow. Tomorrow, You're not going to want to
- 32:12Speaker 2: miss my chat with Dr. Michael Youssef. In the meantime,
