- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hey guys, welcome to this special episode where Hannah Brown
- 0:09Speaker 2: and I are sitting in our kitchen. We're talking about
- 0:11Speaker 2: Kindergarten Cop and how such a good movie. Don't know
- 0:14Speaker 2: why that movie had such a profound impact on me
- 0:17Speaker 2: as a child. Jared too.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Okay, I watched it with Adham and he's seven years old.
- 0:22Speaker 3: In the media, he still loves Kindergarten Cop as well.
- 0:25Speaker 3: I was obsessed with Arnold Swartzeneger. I can't even say
- 0:28Speaker 3: his last I can't say a good job. Okay, thank you.
- 0:31Speaker 3: And I don't know. It's kind of a scary movie
- 0:33Speaker 3: to like as a kid.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Yeah, because I mean, I to be honest, I haven't
- 0:36Speaker 2: seen it in years. Watch it again. It's there. I
- 0:39Speaker 2: see it sometimes, like whenever I'm watching YouTube TV, which
- 0:42Speaker 2: is I really like, why do I have YouTube TV?
- 0:44Speaker 3: I never waty do you do YouTube TV?
- 0:46Speaker 2: Do you not have any?
- 0:46Speaker 1: Oh?
- 0:47Speaker 3: I have Hulu Live. Okay, so I'm Hulu because it's
- 0:50Speaker 3: like with the Disney and they and all the things. Yeah, yeah,
- 0:53Speaker 3: I don't watch it either. Yeah, actually it is extensive.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Jared, does it is it's like ninety dollars a month. Yeah,
- 0:59Speaker 2: I really ever use it. The only reason I use
- 1:01Speaker 2: it now is to watch but you can a cove on.
- 1:05Speaker 3: Yeah, of course on Disney Plus. I think. So.
- 1:08Speaker 2: I watched it as like a six or seven year
- 1:11Speaker 2: old and three younger and it's dark, it is, right.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Yeah, Like one of the first scenes somebody gets shot,
- 1:20Speaker 3: like it's it's pretty, you know, a kid's getting kidnapped,
- 1:24Speaker 3: taking away. There's a lot going on in it. But
- 1:26Speaker 3: I loved it.
- 1:27Speaker 2: I say this as my son watched Michael for the
- 1:30Speaker 2: second time today.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Okay, I've never seen Michael.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Okay, it's well, first off to everyone out there. I
- 1:37Speaker 2: fast forward the inappropriate parts. It's quite clean. Actually. Besides,
- 1:41Speaker 2: there's like two parts that you don't want kids seeing.
- 1:43Speaker 2: So let's get to it a little bit. I like
- 1:47Speaker 2: going off topic with you, but I just wanted to
- 1:49Speaker 2: introduce you properly. We have two time New York Times
- 1:53Speaker 2: bestselling author, and who's maybe a third time. You have
- 1:58Speaker 2: a new book coming out June twenty third. It's called
- 2:01Speaker 2: Reasons to Be Loved by You and it's a former bachelorette.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Y'all Hannah Brown. Yay, So before we got on the podcast.
- 2:09Speaker 2: It was funny because everything that I talked to guests about, like, wait,
- 2:13Speaker 2: we should say it for the podcast. But one of
- 2:15Speaker 2: the most the funny thing was when I did a
- 2:18Speaker 2: press tour for Housewives, but like five weeks ago in
- 2:21Speaker 2: New York, Hannah was a topic of conversation because people
- 2:26Speaker 2: keep asking which house, which bachelor alum should be on
- 2:30Speaker 2: the next installment of Housewives, and like, you want to
- 2:34Speaker 2: come and take my place because I'm sure that they
- 2:36Speaker 2: think I'm too boring. Oh no, okay, I pitched you
- 2:40Speaker 2: for Housewives of Nashville.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Okay, first of all, I've never watched Housewives, as neither
- 2:47Speaker 3: vibe and I started watching. Actually it was my husband Adam,
- 2:51Speaker 3: who was like, we have to watch so sweet of
- 2:54Speaker 3: him because he's the coolest, the best, and he wanted
- 2:57Speaker 3: to see we just we wanted to support us. We
- 2:59Speaker 3: started watching. We're obsessed it is. It was so good.
- 3:04Speaker 3: I can't wait for the finale or what is it
- 3:06Speaker 3: that the reunion? The reunion. I watched the finale. Oh
- 3:09Speaker 3: my gosh. But thinking about being on that show kind
- 3:15Speaker 3: of scares me because of what you have gone through.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Well, you don't even know.
- 3:20Speaker 3: But like you, I feel like you are like the
- 3:24Speaker 3: voice of reason on that show.
- 3:25Speaker 2: So I think that hopefully this season that comes out
- 3:28Speaker 2: a little bit more, just because I didn't know anyone,
- 3:31Speaker 2: like I truly didn't anyone to care for Rosie until
- 3:34Speaker 2: before we started filming. And yeah, they're super duper intimiding.
- 3:38Speaker 2: And if you met Rosie you would also hit it
- 3:39Speaker 2: off immediately too.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Okay, Okay, at first I didn't know if I was
- 3:46Speaker 3: a Rosy fan.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, but most people, yes, we're hesitant.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, but after the fight, and even before the fight,
- 3:56Speaker 3: I we're all team Rosie. Okay, great, And but who
- 4:00Speaker 3: I need to meet is miss Alicia.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, she.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Is so funny. But anyway, just to say it's so funny,
- 4:11Speaker 3: it is. It was such a good watch. But also
- 4:15Speaker 3: I was thinking about you the whole time, like how
- 4:19Speaker 3: did she do this? I don't know, so thinking about
- 4:22Speaker 3: that possibly happening for me. I've only watched your one season.
- 4:28Speaker 3: It seems so scary.
- 4:29Speaker 2: You are so much tougher than me. I feel like
- 4:34Speaker 2: I probably probably wouldn't cry so much, but I.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Might get like when when I'm in a room of
- 4:40Speaker 3: a lot of big personalities. I definitely shrink.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Oh this is my theory. And I talked to Joe,
- 4:45Speaker 2: who has Arena, about this. I said, with Bachelor, when
- 4:49Speaker 2: you put us with other reality contestants, we all close
- 4:53Speaker 2: up and we become the introverts. Yes, there's something about
- 4:56Speaker 2: we are like we just don't fit the typical reality mold.
- 5:02Speaker 3: No, I clam up. I don't have anything to say.
- 5:06Speaker 3: I just feel like, Okay, these people really need all
- 5:09Speaker 3: the attention.
- 5:10Speaker 2: They have nothing to say. Nothing you have.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Oh. I was like, oh thought, You're like you have
- 5:14Speaker 3: nothing to say?
- 5:15Speaker 2: Oh I have.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Yeah. I'm just like I don't need to enter into
- 5:17Speaker 3: this conversation because y'all have got it all figured out.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Yea, yeah, yeah.
- 5:20Speaker 3: I felt that on some of the other shows that
- 5:22Speaker 3: I've done, of like oh I don't fit this, or
- 5:27Speaker 3: they really need the spotlight. We're like, I actually don't care.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Here's the question though, because we have had fame from
- 5:45Speaker 2: The Bachelor. You know, fame is always a heavy word,
- 5:48Speaker 2: but you know, I feel like because we've had our
- 5:52Speaker 2: moments on those shows, that we may feel like we
- 5:56Speaker 2: are not as hungry for it on the other shows.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Or do you you just or do you think it's
- 6:01Speaker 2: a personality thing because I think it might be a combo.
- 6:04Speaker 2: I knew that like these girls, if they were gonna
- 6:06Speaker 2: not involve themselves in a fight like that, it wouldn't
- 6:11Speaker 2: make any sense. I knew kind of role was.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Okay, I hadn't thought about that. I think for me,
- 6:21Speaker 3: having fame kind of felt like, oh, I just came
- 6:25Speaker 3: into this position. I wasn't like hungry for it, and
- 6:30Speaker 3: there are different personalities that really need to be in
- 6:33Speaker 3: the spotlight. I don't mean to be like the spotlight
- 6:35Speaker 3: just came to me, but it kind of did. Like
- 6:37Speaker 3: I wasn't trying well.
- 6:38Speaker 2: You were like, you know, yeah I did that.
- 6:41Speaker 1: I did.
- 6:41Speaker 3: But like I even in those situations when there was
- 6:45Speaker 3: bigger personalities around me, I definitely get quieter and smaller.
- 6:51Speaker 3: And I hate when that happens. I hate it too
- 6:53Speaker 3: because I'm like, oh now I'm not being my true
- 6:55Speaker 3: self because I can't handle this like super extroverted person,
- 6:59Speaker 3: I crumble. That's why I was.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Watch describing how I felt in every group scene.
- 7:06Speaker 3: It's just like I don't like we're so different. I
- 7:09Speaker 3: feel like people are gonna just be like, why is
- 7:10Speaker 3: she talking?
- 7:11Speaker 2: I don't know I just have like that even if
- 7:14Speaker 2: I didn't have the taste of the Bachelor stuff, I
- 7:16Speaker 2: probably would still feel the same in this group. But
- 7:19Speaker 2: I walk into the Bachelor Mansion and I got along
- 7:22Speaker 2: with everyone and that was all chatty and so myself.
- 7:25Speaker 2: And here they all make fun of my, making fun
- 7:28Speaker 2: of my deep voice, which is so funny, which I'm like,
- 7:30Speaker 2: I think I'm like kind of maybe like deeper than
- 7:32Speaker 2: the average, but not like of weirdness.
- 7:34Speaker 3: I've never thought of deep voice.
- 7:37Speaker 2: And it's because voice, Yes, I don't know. Well, if
- 7:41Speaker 2: that's what you have to make fun of me about,
- 7:43Speaker 2: I'll take it. Yeah, But I think that I get
- 7:47Speaker 2: like lower and deeper and like my voice gets all
- 7:50Speaker 2: like tight because I'm so nervous around them.
- 7:53Speaker 3: And why do you think you're nervous around them too?
- 7:55Speaker 3: Just because are you scared they're going to like say
- 7:57Speaker 3: something to you? And you don't know.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Afraid that I'm always going to I'm always there's something
- 8:02Speaker 2: that they can throw at me, and I'm always on edge,
- 8:05Speaker 2: you know.
- 8:06Speaker 3: I mean, what could they say? I don't know.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Okay, are you thinking the thing?
- 8:09Speaker 3: Do you think they're gonna lies? So?
- 8:12Speaker 2: Because this is what I saw Rosie go through where
- 8:15Speaker 2: she had to defend herself from lies and she had
- 8:19Speaker 2: a hard time doing it. It's hard to do it
- 8:22Speaker 2: when you're like and it's so combative. Exactly.
- 8:26Speaker 3: I can't imagine having these people yelling at you and like,
- 8:31Speaker 3: I'm on camera, I have to respond. I don't know
- 8:33Speaker 3: how to respond to this because you're saying something crazy
- 8:35Speaker 3: to me.
- 8:36Speaker 2: But you did this with Luke.
- 8:37Speaker 3: You had to do, but it took me getting to
- 8:41Speaker 3: this like boiling.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, so it took a while, but you
- 8:44Speaker 2: also spoke, so I can't.
- 8:47Speaker 3: So me and Adam talked about this because you're watching
- 8:50Speaker 3: the show, staring watching the show, like, how would I
- 8:52Speaker 3: respond to things, like would I like close up? What
- 8:56Speaker 3: I would I engage and I wouldn't.
- 8:59Speaker 2: For a while, okay, yeah.
- 9:01Speaker 3: And then I would have a moment where I exploded.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Which you had.
- 9:06Speaker 3: I think that would eventually happen to me where I
- 9:08Speaker 3: let it all out, but I would take it for
- 9:10Speaker 3: a bit.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, so this is my theory as well. I
- 9:15Speaker 2: think you and I did this on Bachelor. We have
- 9:19Speaker 2: our moments in a way that's like we don't really
- 9:22Speaker 2: raise our voice too much. We say the damn thing
- 9:26Speaker 2: and we're sassy. Yeah, and then we dropped. They were
- 9:29Speaker 2: like drop Mike to drop bike Mike drop yeah, never out. Yes,
- 9:32Speaker 2: So I think that if I ever have to have
- 9:35Speaker 2: a situation, it's probably gonna be me like with eyes
- 9:39Speaker 2: in tone being like, because you're so mad.
- 9:42Speaker 3: You don't care anymore they like you or not.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think Gellen gets the message across.
- 9:50Speaker 3: I mean it did for Rosie.
- 9:53Speaker 2: You're right, it did.
- 9:56Speaker 3: It did anyway. I just love I've never been able
- 9:58Speaker 3: to engage in real house. It's conversation. Yeah, and then
- 10:02Speaker 3: I'm in a housewives house right now, Like what the heck?
- 10:06Speaker 2: This is amazing the least Housewives the house ever. It's
- 10:09Speaker 2: so funny.
- 10:10Speaker 3: I love it you. You have been so great on
- 10:13Speaker 3: that show. Thanks really, because I feel like you're the
- 10:17Speaker 3: voice of reason of like this is crazy, like you
- 10:20Speaker 3: have you are the viewer being like, thank you.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's what their was.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Yes, well that's what you're that's what you're doing. Okay,
- 10:29Speaker 3: Well so I see it clearly you look at people
- 10:34Speaker 3: like Okay. The best part that I thought you did
- 10:36Speaker 3: a really great job and I felt like they made
- 10:38Speaker 3: you look like the crazy one. But you're the only
- 10:40Speaker 3: one making sick. No, but no, that was great, but
- 10:44Speaker 3: like the whole Rosie. They were being mean to Rosie.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I know at the dinner table. Yeah, it was like,
- 10:53Speaker 2: pardon me. This is the This is when I can
- 10:54Speaker 2: say something because I'm seeing something very clearly. For those
- 10:58Speaker 2: of you guys who's out there who haven't watched, uh,
- 11:01Speaker 2: the Real Housewives of Her Island, So why are they
- 11:04Speaker 2: There's a majority watch I don't want to say the
- 11:07Speaker 2: majority of you, but a lot of you probably are watching.
- 11:10Speaker 2: This girl gave her Kelsey gave her the most backhanded
- 11:13Speaker 2: compliment I've ever It was not he was barely even
- 11:15Speaker 2: back handed. It was always she was like, oh, wow,
- 11:18Speaker 2: you're actually being genuine for the first time, first time.
- 11:22Speaker 2: And then everyone else at the table was like, you
- 11:25Speaker 2: should be accepting that compliment. Ros That was a compliment.
- 11:31Speaker 2: It was the craziest thing to ever see. Crazy.
- 11:34Speaker 3: If you are not watching it, you have to as
- 11:36Speaker 3: someone who was like, I'm not a Housewives fan. I
- 11:40Speaker 3: am now and I'm just sticking to Rhode Island because
- 11:42Speaker 3: I can't get into the depths of all the other ones.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Can watch seven seasons and this is great. Yeah, so
- 11:48Speaker 2: is it in a binge?
- 11:50Speaker 3: No, we did it, did We did like six of
- 11:53Speaker 3: them and then then we caught up.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Okay, wow, the fact that Adam loves it too makes
- 11:58Speaker 2: loves it great. We're gonna go into a few a
- 12:01Speaker 2: little more serious of things right now before we get
- 12:04Speaker 2: into the book, which of course we will. But you
- 12:06Speaker 2: recently talked about I know that you've talked about you
- 12:09Speaker 2: know how you have not really two uterroses, but you
- 12:11Speaker 2: they like thought it was. I thought it was like
- 12:13Speaker 2: two separate uteruses, but it's actually like heart shaped.
- 12:16Speaker 3: So yet I do have a heart shape uterus, but
- 12:19Speaker 3: I also have a septum in my uterus, so sceptim.
- 12:22Speaker 2: So it's like if you think about your nose, it's
- 12:24Speaker 2: like a split.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Split of like this tissue that mine went almost all
- 12:29Speaker 3: the way down to my cervix. So on certain stands,
- 12:32Speaker 3: it looks like two.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Okay, would that make it three?
- 12:36Speaker 3: No? No, it is just one. But there's like this
- 12:39Speaker 3: wall okay in between. Yeah, so I only have one.
- 12:44Speaker 3: What is the vagina whole call? I don't know.
- 12:45Speaker 2: That's called the vagina actually, because the down there area
- 12:48Speaker 2: is called.
- 12:49Speaker 3: The vulva, Okay, well, I only have one entrance to
- 12:52Speaker 3: the vagina and in one cervix, but there are some
- 12:57Speaker 3: cases where you have like two.
- 12:59Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't have that's what's like in
- 13:01Speaker 2: half of the canal. Oh crazy.
- 13:03Speaker 3: So I had my septum partially removed, and I just
- 13:07Speaker 3: found out it was partially because I also have a
- 13:10Speaker 3: heart shape uterus, which is the outside, and that makes
- 13:14Speaker 3: it a little bit more complicated because that is like
- 13:17Speaker 3: certain muscle and if they cut too much then you're
- 13:20Speaker 3: like internally bleeding and it's not good. So they cut
- 13:23Speaker 3: as much as they could feeling safe, some of my septum. Recently,
- 13:27Speaker 3: I had a surgery for that. But I'm so lucky
- 13:32Speaker 3: that I found out when I did, because if we
- 13:35Speaker 3: were trying to conceive, there's like an eighty percent chance
- 13:38Speaker 3: of miscarriage. So I was very lucky to be able
- 13:41Speaker 3: to like find out that was going on before because
- 13:46Speaker 3: opening up about this was actually amazing because I had
- 13:49Speaker 3: heard so many stories of so many women who had
- 13:51Speaker 3: been through similar things who didn't find out and had
- 13:54Speaker 3: to go through too many miscarriages until they were able
- 14:00Speaker 3: to see this on an ultrasound, which I'm like why
- 14:02Speaker 3: did it take so long for women to get ultrasounds? Yeah,
- 14:05Speaker 3: proper healthcare. Anyway, it's a whole soap box at this
- 14:08Speaker 3: point for me now. But yeah, that was the summer
- 14:12Speaker 3: this spring. I don't even know where we are.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Spring, Like, I don't know you re covering like the
- 14:19Speaker 2: mother or so ago. Yeah, okay, so now it's like
- 14:22Speaker 2: partially cleared.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Out, partially cleared out, good enough to try. We're not
- 14:32Speaker 3: like fully ready to try it. But that was the
- 14:34Speaker 3: first step of family planning for us.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Yes, okay, yeah, so I was starty three when I
- 14:38Speaker 2: had DAWs. Yeah that's perfect, it's great. Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 14:42Speaker 3: I also don't have a house right now. We're in renovation,
- 14:47Speaker 3: so I don't want to be like in a first
- 14:49Speaker 3: trimester not knowing where I'm going to like whose house
- 14:52Speaker 3: I'm going to be at because I'm staying at friend's
- 14:54Speaker 3: house or my parents' house. Like that doesn't sound fun.
- 14:56Speaker 2: No, no, no, that sounds awful. Yeah, I don't know,
- 14:59Speaker 2: you're going to be really sick.
- 15:00Speaker 3: You want to be in your in my own home.
- 15:02Speaker 3: So we've got a little bit and that makes me
- 15:04Speaker 3: feel good. But we're talking about it and what makes
- 15:07Speaker 3: the most sense for us, but I don't feel quite ready,
- 15:10Speaker 3: but I'm getting there more, Like, yeah, I'm more interested
- 15:13Speaker 3: in babies than I was before, totally.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Did you feel that way on the face side with
- 15:17Speaker 2: my sister's baby.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Yeah, And I wasn't like that at all.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Definitely.
- 15:21Speaker 3: But Adam hasband when he's older, yes, thirty nine, so
- 15:27Speaker 3: he is like yeah, and he just is great with kids. Yeah,
- 15:31Speaker 3: way better than me. I We've talked about this before.
- 15:34Speaker 2: I also feel like Jared naturally, like before we had kids,
- 15:38Speaker 2: when I'd seen him interact with kids, I'd be like,
- 15:40Speaker 2: oh man, but it is okay. I'm like, I'll have
- 15:43Speaker 2: actually fine, just like, don't stress about that. That's a
- 15:45Speaker 2: stupid thing to stress.
- 15:46Speaker 3: Yeah, they might love him more, It's okay, It's okay.
- 15:48Speaker 2: You're like your own kids way more than you can't
- 15:51Speaker 2: compare your own kids to how you feel about the
- 15:53Speaker 2: best kids at all. Like still now.
- 15:55Speaker 3: But my niece, my niece, I'm like, I am obsessed
- 15:59Speaker 3: with her, Yeah, except when she like is annoying and
- 16:02Speaker 3: like crying and hitting me. She likes to hit She's one, Okay,
- 16:07Speaker 3: We've got to stop that. I still love her, but
- 16:09Speaker 3: I'm like Sophie, you're acting like your your dad, my brother.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Stop having all the attitude. But that has helped. So
- 16:18Speaker 3: we're we're on the process, on the journey, and I
- 16:23Speaker 3: think with what's the septum, people are very interested, like
- 16:27Speaker 3: am I doing IBF? What am I going to do?
- 16:29Speaker 3: We'll probably tried naturally for honestly, the max they said
- 16:34Speaker 3: was six months for us and then go forward because
- 16:37Speaker 3: I have a lot of other kind of like things
- 16:39Speaker 3: that make will make maybe make it pc os.
- 16:42Speaker 2: Yeah, so we'll see, wait and we'll figure it out. Yeah,
- 16:48Speaker 2: it'd be great.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Yeah, and it's going to happen when it's supposed to.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I need to talk to you about this saline
- 17:03Speaker 2: sonogram post surgery that four times what this sounds like?
- 17:08Speaker 2: If it's what it sounds like. They shoot water up there.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's they like do they stick the thing?
- 17:18Speaker 3: But they like do the where they clamp you open?
- 17:21Speaker 3: It was it's not, It's fine, I've done it once.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Like it's like if you went down to the water slide,
- 17:25Speaker 2: they tell you to cross your legs because they don't
- 17:27Speaker 2: want water going up there, and they're like let's put them.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Oh my goodness to be able to see the full
- 17:34Speaker 3: uterus cleaner and the first time I did it, I
- 17:39Speaker 3: did do it before the surgery. It was fine. I
- 17:41Speaker 3: was like, they gave me a laughing gas. I was like, honestly,
- 17:43Speaker 3: anytime I can have laughing gas, yeah, drug of choice.
- 17:45Speaker 2: It was great drug. And I've only had it like once,
- 17:48Speaker 2: but it's a good one.
- 17:49Speaker 3: It's amazing, Okay. I felt like I was on a
- 17:51Speaker 3: different planet, like this is awesome. I wouldn't want to
- 17:55Speaker 3: do it again, Like it wasn't a fun experience. So
- 17:59Speaker 3: I go in. I'm thinking, not that bad, It's gonna
- 18:02Speaker 3: be fine. I was fighting for my.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Life there this afterward.
- 18:06Speaker 3: This is after the surgery, so this is supposed to
- 18:08Speaker 3: see where in the septum, like how everything was. And
- 18:11Speaker 3: as we're doing it, I'm fine as we're doing it,
- 18:13Speaker 3: like this is kind of uncomfortable, but I felt like
- 18:15Speaker 3: I it was in the past a little bit more crampy,
- 18:19Speaker 3: and I noticed like, oh, i's some scramping a lot,
- 18:21Speaker 3: and I'm talking to this girl, my nurse, and then
- 18:25Speaker 3: all of a sudden, I'm like I don't feel good
- 18:26Speaker 3: and I'm telling you like I was fighting for my
- 18:28Speaker 3: life to stay awake. I would just pass out.
- 18:30Speaker 2: And then I'm like, okay, the pain or like the
- 18:34Speaker 2: weird Okay.
- 18:35Speaker 3: So there's like supposedly a nerve. Yeah that is like
- 18:39Speaker 3: in the canal there was pain and sometimes it can
- 18:45Speaker 3: like trigger for people and like, yes, it hurt, Like, yes,
- 18:49Speaker 3: I was in pain from the cramping that I was having,
- 18:53Speaker 3: but not to the point to where how I was reacting.
- 18:57Speaker 3: But I did I remember before after you know, time
- 19:01Speaker 3: one or two of passing out, I was like.
- 19:03Speaker 2: I can never have child birth. Oh well, yeah it was.
- 19:07Speaker 3: It hurt because I was so hot, yes and then cold. Yes,
- 19:13Speaker 3: could not come to what was so funny as they
- 19:16Speaker 3: were like trying to get me to wake up to it,
- 19:19Speaker 3: to get Adam to come pick me up because I
- 19:21Speaker 3: jermy myself. Oh no, it's always a bad thing, and
- 19:24Speaker 3: he answers the phone because I was like.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Adam, they like put my phone up.
- 19:29Speaker 3: To my face to open it, and he answers the phone, Hello,
- 19:34Speaker 3: Ben maiden't and they're like and I can hear that,
- 19:38Speaker 3: and they're like laughing and they're so high.
- 19:42Speaker 2: She's literally a princess. Like I'm sitting next to a
- 19:43Speaker 2: princess right now. Out of tangles ahead and he.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Was like, oh my gosh, okay, okay, you gotta get here,
- 19:53Speaker 3: and he had to come make me up. It was
- 19:54Speaker 3: a whole thing. But yeah, it was not a fun experience.
- 19:57Speaker 3: And it's so like I talked about it almost and
- 20:00Speaker 3: people had varying uh situations with it too, Like some
- 20:05Speaker 3: people like, yeah, I was totally fine, like it wasn't
- 20:07Speaker 3: bad at all, and then some people were like, no,
- 20:08Speaker 3: it actually was worth than childbirth. Like I've had three
- 20:11Speaker 3: kids and my Salien sonogram was way worse than anything
- 20:14Speaker 3: I experience.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 20:15Speaker 3: So I think it just depends. Just also why I
- 20:19Speaker 3: want to talk about women's help, I'll.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Talk let's do a women's health podcast. Yeah, like I
- 20:25Speaker 2: just I can't get enough.
- 20:26Speaker 3: I'm like this. They are like, oh, you're fine, and
- 20:29Speaker 3: it's like I passed out four times. Crazy anyway, So yeah,
- 20:34Speaker 3: we've definitely had a we had a spring of a
- 20:38Speaker 3: lot of fun events going on in my vagina, none
- 20:42Speaker 3: of which were actually fun.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Okay, I'm gonna have to tell my story, my pacing stories.
- 20:47Speaker 2: I just really quickly, I'm gonna bullet point this view.
- 20:49Speaker 3: You've done this?
- 20:50Speaker 2: Okay, No, I haven't done that. But the worst part
- 20:53Speaker 2: of delivery for me, out of both deliveries, was when
- 20:56Speaker 2: they checked my cervix when I was in labor. So
- 21:00Speaker 2: I am very much like, I'm I have to have
- 21:02Speaker 2: a female guy know, okay, are you not? Are you no?
- 21:05Speaker 3: I've never gone to a male yeah.
- 21:07Speaker 2: So of course for the only one call in my life,
- 21:10Speaker 2: the guy on call who is in triage, you know,
- 21:13Speaker 2: checking the women, a guy like just full blown dude,
- 21:17Speaker 2: like a man, walks in and he was not friendly.
- 21:20Speaker 2: My dad was like, so I was at my dad's hospital.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Is he your dad in obie?
- 21:24Speaker 2: No, the other side of delivery. So this guy was like,
- 21:31Speaker 2: he comes in cranky. My dad goes, he must have
- 21:34Speaker 2: just you woke him up. He was on call three am.
- 21:36Speaker 2: You woke him up. And then and then I'm like
- 21:40Speaker 2: this the first time in my life is when I'm
- 21:42Speaker 2: an active labor that I'm that this doctor is going
- 21:44Speaker 2: to have to stick his huge finger up my and
- 21:47Speaker 2: then check the cervix and sorry. He was like, she's
- 21:51Speaker 2: so tense. She was like, he's so, she's so tense
- 21:54Speaker 2: right now I can barely see what centimeter she is.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Like he was like talking about me like that, And
- 22:00Speaker 2: that was you're like, and I'm like, excuse, yeah, you're sweating,
- 22:05Speaker 2: you're hot, you're cold, you're just whatever. And then I
- 22:07Speaker 2: go upstairs to like the lady Land, where like all
- 22:10Speaker 2: you see are ladies.
- 22:11Speaker 3: That's great.
- 22:12Speaker 2: And everything was not easy, not Dawson was relatively an
- 22:16Speaker 2: easy child. Yeah, so it was good, and so of
- 22:19Speaker 2: my trauma. It was it was getting checked by a man.
- 22:21Speaker 3: And I've never I've always thought like I'm tough, like
- 22:25Speaker 3: I can.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Do Winter special Forces.
- 22:27Speaker 3: I'm not like, I was never scared about I awesome.
- 22:30Speaker 3: And I've never been pregnant, but I've been always more
- 22:33Speaker 3: scared of being pregnant. Not that actually I'm like, oh,
- 22:36Speaker 3: I would probably want to get that baby out.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Okay, well both things are, but now I'm like, after after,
- 22:44Speaker 2: I never mind, this seems terrible. Oh my gosh. Well yeah,
- 22:48Speaker 2: I was always terrifying of birth. Birth always scared the
- 22:51Speaker 2: shit out of me, right, and then I had the
- 22:53Speaker 2: greatest births, not scary at all, zero, Like I could
- 22:57Speaker 2: do that again. I'm getting scared of that, but I
- 23:00Speaker 2: am scared of being pregnant again.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Yeah, that's why kids, I'm like, I don't want to
- 23:06Speaker 3: drag my body. I don't want to feel awful. I
- 23:07Speaker 3: don't want to like it's just it takes over you.
- 23:10Speaker 2: It's literally a countdown to nine months to being like
- 23:13Speaker 2: when is this alien in my body going to stop
- 23:16Speaker 2: being there? And one can.
- 23:17Speaker 3: I just love that you say that because that's how
- 23:19Speaker 3: I feel. But it doesn't seem like people say that,
- 23:21Speaker 3: and I'm like, it doesn't look fun.
- 23:24Speaker 2: When you're pregnant. Text me anytime. I love talking about
- 23:27Speaker 2: hating being pregnant.
- 23:28Speaker 3: I love that.
- 23:30Speaker 2: We have too much to talk to Hannah Brown about
- 23:32Speaker 2: so and why do I have to refer to you
- 23:34Speaker 2: as Hannah Brown?
- 23:35Speaker 3: I love it. It's been so great, you know it
- 23:37Speaker 3: just it's always been that way.
- 23:39Speaker 2: It's just me and Ashley. I yeah, don't drop I'm

- 23:44Speaker 2: you're just Ashley. I'm like, no, no, no, no, roots people,
- 23:48Speaker 2: we respect the roots. All Right, We're gonna come back
