- 0:17Speaker 1: he runs the Committee to Unleash Prosperity and every day
- 0:20Speaker 1: they put out the best daily briefing, news analysis. It's free.

- 0:27Speaker 1: Just go to Unleash Prosperity dot com. Unleash Prosperity dot
- 0:32Speaker 1: com and sign up. Steve Moore, how you doing.
- 0:36Speaker 2: I'm doing well, Mark, and I think we're going to
- 0:38Speaker 2: you know, tomorrow morning we get a new jobs report,
- 0:41Speaker 2: and I think all indications are we're to give a
- 0:43Speaker 2: pretty healthy number for employment. Businesses are hiring again. And
- 0:49Speaker 2: you know, if you look over the last couple of weeks,
- 0:52Speaker 2: almost all of the economic news has been positive. You're
- 0:58Speaker 2: seeing a lot of employment, you're seeing a lot of
- 1:03Speaker 2: investment by businesses. We saw a big manufacturing report that
- 1:07Speaker 2: Larry Cobbo was talking about on the show last night.
- 1:11Speaker 2: So it's even despite the fact that we're paying a
- 1:14Speaker 2: lot for energy and that's been a real downer for
- 1:16Speaker 2: the economy. The resilience and durability of this economy is incredible,
- 1:21Speaker 2: and I think part of that is the big beautiful
- 1:24Speaker 2: bill that every Democrat voted against.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Yeah, although I'm watching MSNBC Morning Shoe this morning and
- 1:30Speaker 1: they're talking about and he said, as Americans struggled to
- 1:33Speaker 1: pay their bills in this troubling economy. Now Democrats run
- 1:38Speaker 1: around repeating that.
- 1:39Speaker 2: What I mean, Look, everybody's mad about grocery prices, everybody's
- 1:46Speaker 2: angry about gas prices. Of course, I mean those are
- 1:50Speaker 2: up a lot. And you know we've tried to buy
- 1:53Speaker 2: a Hamburger lately, or of stake. You know, those costs
- 1:56Speaker 2: are up a lot. But the economy, despite the those
- 2:00Speaker 2: higher prices, you know, are is really moving ahead. For it.
- 2:04Speaker 2: By the way, we have all time highs on the
- 2:05Speaker 2: stock market.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Now.
- 2:06Speaker 2: I know somebody say, well, that's only for rich people.
- 2:08Speaker 2: No it's not. I mean virtually every middle class worker
- 2:11Speaker 2: has there all no retirement savings in the stock market.
- 2:15Speaker 2: So when that does better, America does better, and workers
- 2:17Speaker 2: do better. So I see an economy that is it
- 2:22Speaker 2: is getting better every week. And if you know, if
- 2:26Speaker 2: I say this every week, on your show. If we
- 2:27Speaker 2: can get this situation in the least settled, I think
- 2:30Speaker 2: you're going to see one of those great economic booms.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Yeah. Hey, if I had a restaurant and all of
- 2:38Speaker 1: a sudden, all my customers were eating a restaurant across
- 2:40Speaker 1: the street, they left me and they're all leading over there.
- 2:43Speaker 1: I go over there and I see what are they
- 2:44Speaker 1: doing that? How come states don't do this when companies leave,
- 2:49Speaker 1: they're all going to Texas. They're all going to Florida.
- 2:52Speaker 1: You just had another one to leave and go to Texas.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Why don't they try to do what Texas does? Steve Moore,
- 3:00Speaker 1: do we lose you? Did we lose them? Oh, we'll
- 3:06Speaker 1: call you back. Uh, no, he's gone. What do we
- 3:11Speaker 1: have them back? Let me see. Yeah. The big thing
- 3:16Speaker 1: is Samsung just announced they're pulling out of New Jersey.
- 3:19Speaker 1: We have Steve Moore back. No, well he was here
- 3:23Speaker 1: for a minute, which is good. Yeah. Samsung, major business
- 3:30Speaker 1: that was operating in New Jersey, huge footprint in New Jersey,
- 3:34Speaker 1: announces they're leaving, closing everything down and moving it to Texas.
- 3:38Speaker 1: So you would think if you were a state and
- 3:41Speaker 1: one by one by one, your biggest taxpayers, and your
- 3:45Speaker 1: biggest companies and your biggest employers are leaving you and
- 3:49Speaker 1: moving to Florida. Many of them now moving to Texas.
- 3:52Speaker 1: You would think you'd go down there and talk to
- 3:55Speaker 1: them and see what they're doing. I mean, in any
- 3:57Speaker 1: other business, if we were in the let's say you're
- 4:00Speaker 1: in the radio business, all of a sudden, the other
- 4:02Speaker 1: station takes off. They're doing great. You look at what
- 4:04Speaker 1: they're doing, but not with pologies. Steve Moore, are you there?
- 4:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess the goblins didn't want me to talk
- 4:12Speaker 2: to you. But I was just saying that blue states
- 4:16Speaker 2: like New York, New Jersey, California, my home state of Illinois,
- 4:19Speaker 2: need to be more like Texas and Florida and Utah
- 4:23Speaker 2: and states that are really booming. And you're seeing more
- 4:26Speaker 2: and more of these companies moving out of New York
- 4:28Speaker 2: and New Jersey. You saw Exon, one of our iconic
- 4:31Speaker 2: companies in America, moved out of New Jersey into Texas.
- 4:36Speaker 2: And now the latest of Samsung is moving out of
- 4:40Speaker 2: I think it's.
- 4:40Speaker 1: New York, New Jersey.
- 4:42Speaker 2: So yeah, why don't these blue states get it? Why
- 4:45Speaker 2: don't they change in a way that makes them pro
- 4:48Speaker 2: business because you can't have jobs without businesses. Folks.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Also, they claim to love tax revenue, but these are
- 4:56Speaker 1: your biggest tax revenue people, the billionaires companies. But what
- 5:02Speaker 1: is it about defecats that they never learned They can
- 5:04Speaker 1: make the same mistake a billion times and never stop making.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Well, there's a kind of a war now against wealth.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Did you see your good friend Bernie Sanders says he
- 5:12Speaker 2: wants the government to take a fifty percent ownership of
- 5:15Speaker 2: all the tech companies in America. Can you imagine Bernie
- 5:18Speaker 2: Sanders running a company?
- 5:21Speaker 1: Yeah, a phone made by Bernie Sanders. That's going to
- 5:25Speaker 1: really You're right?
- 5:26Speaker 2: So, I mean, look, you have to treat businesses kindly.
- 5:30Speaker 2: And a lot of these politicians they've never run a business.
- 5:32Speaker 2: They don't know how hard it is to make me
- 5:34Speaker 2: a payroll in the employee people and make a product
- 5:37Speaker 2: people want. I mean, I hear AOC talking about these big,
- 5:39Speaker 2: bad businesses and how greedy they are, Like, well, AOC,
- 5:43Speaker 2: why don't you go out start a business and tell
- 5:46Speaker 2: us what you think? How was it? You know, there's
- 5:49Speaker 2: so many famous stories of liberals that said, gee, I
- 5:51Speaker 2: had no idea until I tried to start a business.
- 5:53Speaker 2: What effect taxes and regulation have on trying to make
- 5:57Speaker 2: a profit. And by the way, profit, folks, is not
- 5:59Speaker 2: a dirty word. Without profits, we would have no businesses.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Yeah, and most of these guys, when they get that profit,
- 6:06Speaker 1: what do they do? They spend it? And businesses spend
- 6:07Speaker 1: it over and over again. Yeah. So, hey, California, Steve
- 6:11Speaker 1: Hilton wins the primary practed very well. You think maybe
- 6:15Speaker 1: voters are starting to wise up out there.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Well, the good news from California. And by the way,
- 6:20Speaker 2: I love California. I love the weather, I love the beaches,
- 6:22Speaker 2: I love the mountains, I love the beautiful women. I mean,
- 6:25Speaker 2: it's a great state. It's been runned by politicians. But
- 6:28Speaker 2: you know they they that election they had on Tuesday
- 6:31Speaker 2: was amazing. Mark. There were about five tax hikes that
- 6:35Speaker 2: were put on the ballot, you know, for voter approval.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Every one of them got turned down all the way
- 6:40Speaker 2: from San Francisco down to San Diego. So when Californians say,
- 6:44Speaker 2: read my lips, no new taxes, you know there's something
- 6:47Speaker 2: going on in America. People feel over taxed. They don't
- 6:50Speaker 2: feel like when you've got you know, a trillion dollars
- 6:53Speaker 2: of fraud in the federal budget. We should be raising
- 6:55Speaker 2: taxesn't giving these guys more money?
- 6:57Speaker 1: Yeah? Absolutely, Hey, Steve Moore puts out the best daily briefing.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Go to Unleashed Prosperity dot com and sign up today.
- 7:04Speaker 1: You had a great thing about just Bill Clinton introduced
- 7:07Speaker 1: workfair instead of just welfare, you work for it, which helps.
- 7:10Speaker 2: What about bringing all of course, we want people, you know,
- 7:15Speaker 2: to have health care, We want people to have you know,
- 7:17Speaker 2: we don't want people to go hungry or homeless. But
- 7:20Speaker 2: if you're going to get a government benefit and you're
- 7:22Speaker 2: an able body, don't you think you used to be working.
- 7:26Speaker 2: If the government's going to give you money, you should
- 7:28Speaker 2: do something to return, you know, to earn that money,
- 7:31Speaker 2: and so you know, and work there by the way
- 7:33Speaker 2: moves people off of welfare into jobs, into getting a paycheck.
- 7:37Speaker 2: And but once you have a paycheck and you get
- 7:39Speaker 2: a job, so you do a good job, you're gonna
- 7:40Speaker 2: get a better paycheck and find But you can't poverty
- 7:44Speaker 2: if you're just sitting at home watching TV all day.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Yeah, and getting back to work every day can really
- 7:49Speaker 1: really turn a person's life around and get your motivated.
- 7:52Speaker 2: By the way people who are working Mark. People say, oh,
- 7:55Speaker 2: that's so cool to make people know people who work
- 7:57Speaker 2: are happier. Yeah, and healthier than people who don't work.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Yeah. Actually, there's nothing more cruel than training somebody just
- 8:05Speaker 1: sit at home and do nothing and getting them out
- 8:07Speaker 1: of work. Wise. So well, Steve Moore, great work, keep
