Welcome back to Day 121 of our journey through Scripture.
Today we’re continuing in the life of David as we read 2 Samuel chapter 5 and 1 Chronicles chapters 11 and 12. These passages bring us to a powerful turning point—David is established as king over all Israel, Jerusalem becomes the city of David, and we see the mighty men and faithful warriors God used to strengthen his kingdom.
As we read today, let’s pay attention to how God fulfills His promises, unites His people, and builds leadership through faithfulness and obedience.
Let’s dive in.
